00:00:00.000 this is the glenbeck program first let me tell you about rough greens uh vitasmart it is it's

00:00:08.460 an unbelievable uh additive that you put on your dog's food uh uno is a different dog he is up and

00:00:15.640 at him every day he is he has gained weight which was his biggest problem uh he could he would he

00:00:21.680 hated eating and so he would never gain weight um but he has gained weight but it is in muscle and

00:00:27.200 he's toned he's not getting fat uh that's because he's much more active since he's been eating uh

00:00:33.700 rough greens and all you do is you just put it on top of the food and you just kind of mix it in

00:00:37.700 it's probiotics enzymes vitamins healthy microbacteria all of the things your dog needs

00:00:43.600 but doesn't get from his food because basically it's all been cooked out of his uh out of his food

00:01:23.620 well the people are starting to stand up and say enough is enough this is good news uh but also i

00:01:34.860 perceive real trouble on the horizon because i'm not sure that the people in washington even get

00:01:43.600 what people are angry about uh we'll start in michigan and we do that in one minute

00:01:50.060 this is the glenbeck program so you're driving home from getting groceries singing along to the

00:01:58.620 radio as you pass through the streets so empty it looks like well a plague has come through or

00:02:04.040 something and all of a sudden your car dies in the middle of the street puff of smoke issues from the

00:02:08.980 hood and then silence your first thought is oh my gosh i'm stuck and no one will come pick me up

00:02:17.480 because i've got i've got a broken down car in the middle of a plague your second more rational

00:03:17.360 i want you to know uh the mauis are uh are announced tomorrow we have the national maui the state maui

00:03:34.020 and the local maui and uh the maui is this beautiful statue if you happen to be watching us uh on uh blaze tv

00:03:42.900 it's a beautiful statue of mao uh right directly from jenna and we're just looking for uh your nominations

00:03:51.720 now of who should get those mauis uh who is the greatest corona dictator in america uh so we have those

00:04:02.000 three categories they're national state and local maui's uh and we announce those tomorrow night

00:04:09.060 uh and then we'll vote on them all through the weekend and we have our big awards ceremony

00:04:13.520 next week so you don't want to miss that uh you can just hashtag corona dictators and let us know uh who

00:04:21.720 you think should be nominated and we'll vote over the weekend now it's going to be pretty hard uh to beat

00:04:29.720 the michigan governor uh i think she is a leader uh in the state race for the the coveted chairman mao

00:04:39.000 um and uh i think the people of michigan have had enough uh yesterday thousands surrounded uh the

00:04:48.920 michigan capital this is i don't know uh pat by the way is joining us uh stew is off for a couple of

00:04:56.860 days um i'm not i'm not sure uh do you think she got the message yesterday or do you think it just

00:05:03.660 pissed her off even more i think it probably just pissed her off even more i think so too uh people

00:05:09.900 were saying as adults we need we know what we need to do i mean this is this is phenomenal to me how we

00:05:19.120 are all being treated like babies they don't trust the american people at all i mean if you look at

00:05:24.880 poll after poll after poll if they open the economy right now we're not going back to restaurants

00:05:30.020 i mean we're just not people are not ready for that now we're smart we can figure these things out

00:05:38.180 um but she has been cracking down on people traveling between homes or or planting or landscaping 0.95

00:05:47.380 or golfing you can't even go and check on you know your parents or or anything else it's really bad

00:05:55.140 now it's kind of falling apart for because not only did they have a whole bunch of people that were

00:06:01.780 there in michigan surrounding the capital and and everybody was told on this facebook group

00:06:07.260 you know stay in your cars but a lot of people just got out of their cars and they surrounded the

00:06:11.660 capital um and and today we find out that four of the sheriffs uh from uh michigan are now saying

00:06:22.600 they're not going to enforce her orders let me read a little bit of this we write today to inform

00:06:30.280 the public of our respective counties our opposition to some of governor whitner's uh executive orders

00:06:36.220 while we understand her desire to protect the public we question some restrictions that she has imposed

00:06:41.780 as overstepping her executive authority we'll deal with every case as an individual situation and apply

00:06:47.180 common sense and assessing apparent violations she has she her orders are uh prohibition on large

00:06:55.360 retailers uh selling non-essential items such as paint and outdoor supplies meaning stores like home

00:07:03.600 depot have to tape off those sections from customers i was just in home depot yesterday

00:07:08.720 i went to home depot yesterday i wanted to get a power washer they are being very very careful

00:07:15.180 everybody was six feet away it was really weird have you been have you been out to any of these stores

00:07:20.680 uh pat i've been to the grocery store where people are doing that everybody's kind of staying away

00:07:24.940 and keeping their distance from everybody else and nobody told us to only play by the way we know

00:07:29.400 you know better right you just know yes right and uh it's it's ridiculous these little marks on the

00:07:37.320 on the ground but home depot you gotta stand in line and they only let so many people in uh and

00:07:43.380 everybody's six feet apart and nobody's there's there's no little markings on the ground of how far

00:07:48.280 we have to be from each other and it's it's it's instinctive at this point it was so weird because

00:07:55.260 people would be coming out of the aisles and they would stop and look both ways i mean nobody is

00:08:02.120 nobody's getting close to anybody uh and when we were talking about uh you know i said hey i'm i'm

00:08:09.500 coming in i'm looking for this particular thing and i held up my phone and uh the guy just he kept

00:08:16.280 six feet away and he's like can you expand that a bit and so i expanded it can you roll that up a bit i

00:08:21.860 mean everybody is being smart what is what is the problem uh by the way i i think cutting people off

00:08:31.920 from uh other people entirely is a dangerous thing to do suicide uh depression all of this stuff

00:08:41.640 and if you can't go outside and work on your own house if you are sitting at the home and you can't

00:08:48.200 buy paint to paint a room what are you doing what are you all we're doing is just sitting and

00:08:54.960 watching netflix that's not healthy for a nation uh anyway so you can't get paint or outdoor supplies

00:09:01.700 home depot has to tape off the section from customers lawn care services have been temporarily

00:09:06.860 shuttered my gosh every place is going to look like detroit uh the order prohibits people from traveling

00:09:13.340 between residents even to their cottages in the northern part of the state where there are a few

00:09:18.640 covet 19 cases residents of other states however still may travel to such properties in michigan if

00:09:24.400 permitted by their respective home states individuals may not use motor boats why

00:09:31.700 individuals may not use motor boats but they are authorized to use boats without motors what

00:09:41.140 wow the order bans public and private gatherings of any kind except and i love this this is

00:09:51.320 happening in state after state after state except it does allow for the sale of lottery tickets

00:09:56.380 so i can't buy paint but i can buy a lottery ticket because that's essential and you know who's essential

00:10:03.100 for the state because the state is making money by the way just to show you how how much how good of

00:10:12.860 hands we're in uh whitmer is on the short list for joe biden uh as a vice president so she could be our 1.00

00:10:23.500 president wouldn't that be great i want to play this this is from uh tucker carlson he had the democratic

00:10:32.240 uh new jersey governor on the democrat uh phil murphy i want you to listen to uh what he said

00:10:41.340 so um you made that decision and as i noted before 15 congregants at a synagogue in new jersey were

00:10:48.660 arrested and charged for being in a synagogue together now the bill of rights as you well know 0.97

00:10:55.640 protects americans right and shrines their right to practice their religion as they see fit and to

00:11:02.820 congregate together to assemble peacefully by what authority did you nullify the bill of rights in

00:11:09.660 issuing this order how do you have the power to do that that's above my pay grade tucker so i wasn't uh

00:11:16.160 i wasn't thinking of the bill of rights when we did this we went to all the first of all stop stop stop

00:11:21.740 stop stop wow it's above your pay grade uh i don't think so i'm not even getting paid and i'm

00:11:31.300 standing up for the bill of rights i'm thinking about the bill of rights above your pay grade as a

00:11:37.940 governor that's what you're that's your response oh we didn't think about it we didn't think about it

00:11:43.960 i think it's pretty obvious they weren't thinking about the u.s constitution

00:11:47.340 or the bill of rights when they issued those orders wow uh how do you did you not raise your hand and

00:11:55.380 when you took your oath of office and say that you would protect and defend the the constitution of

00:12:00.240 the united states of america that is the number that's the only thing i think you swear to when

00:12:06.240 you're getting into office is it not which pretty much not like i'm going to show up i'm going to show

00:12:11.320 up every day at nine o'clock i'm uh i'm going to make sure that the snow is off the streets and the

00:12:16.360 garbage is picked up what else do you swear to pat i would say that's pretty much a removable

00:12:22.840 offense for a governor of a state you know if if you don't even consider the bill of rights 0.98

00:12:28.520 you need to be impeached you need to be removed from office that that should be the end of it crazy

00:12:34.120 it should be but it won't be no of course it should be yeah absolutely should be i mean that's that's

00:12:40.600 one of the most outrageous statements i think i've ever heard from a governor of a u.s state

00:12:44.540 we didn't even think about it and you know what it it's not like it's not like he said listen uh

00:12:51.100 we didn't think about it we were in a panic we were in this where you could kind of he laughs about it

00:12:57.620 yeah that's what's so offensive to me is well that's about my very great we didn't think about

00:13:04.020 the bill of rights talker i mean like it's like it's a joke like oh yeah and uh i didn't look at

00:13:11.500 all those laws about uh tying up horses in the street either i mean what is that

00:13:18.640 so uh look can we play the rest of it because now i want you to notice how he starts to backpedal

00:13:27.540 uh and tucker throws him uh a lifeline i don't think he means to but he throws him a lifeline and

00:13:35.480 the governor understands that listen we went to all first of all we looked at the data and the

00:13:40.800 science and it says people have to stay away from each other uh that's the best thing we could do to

00:13:46.680 break the back of the curve of this virus that leads to lower hospitalizations and ultimately

00:13:51.420 fatalities and i'm not i'm not contesting that though i think it's stop stop stop stop okay okay okay

00:13:57.480 we didn't look at the bill of rights uh because you know that's the science of human beings that put

00:14:15.200 that thing together uh so why don't we look at both of those well we can't do both tucker

00:14:23.060 i mean we looked at science looking at laws you know and and you know something that i raised my

00:14:31.560 hand to protect and defend we we don't have time we didn't have time to look at both of those things

00:14:37.640 who could possibly do that you know what's really frightening is no one no one in the governor's office

00:14:45.560 or in the circle even stood up and said wait wait wait we can't do this that's what's more

00:14:52.740 frightening to me is there is no one and i hear this from politicians in washington dc all the time

00:14:58.980 the people who actually respect the constitution tell me all the time glenn it's a joke it is a joke

00:15:05.900 here nobody even thinks about the constitution or bill of rights it's some outdated antiquated thing

00:15:13.240 that nobody even when they do talk about it it is only to get re-elected it's only to sell something

00:15:20.400 to people um or they're talking about it as a joke that's that's the america we're in today

00:15:28.060 and uh you know we are at a place right now as you will see i mean today we have jim jordan coming on

00:15:36.640 in just a few minutes uh i have uh harry dent coming on uh he's a guy who in fact you know what

00:15:42.960 let me take a quick break and then i want to play what he said on this show he's a guy who on this

00:15:47.620 program about four months ago said there's a depression coming i'm telling you a depression

00:15:53.420 is coming uh and he'll explain why we're also going to talk about uh how dead people are getting

00:16:01.260 uh checks uh right now if you haven't gotten your check you can just just google get my payment

00:16:08.300 you can go to the irs now and uh get my payment if you don't if you didn't if you don't have direct

00:16:14.580 deposit with the irs google get my payment make sure you're on the irs.gov uh website and you can

00:16:22.940 uh give them all of your banking routing information and they will get that check to you right away

00:16:27.900 um but uh money has no meaning anymore as you will understand by the end of the program and when money

00:16:37.120 has no meaning and rights have no meaning only power has meaning and that is a frightening thing

00:16:46.160 so i'm i congratulate those in uh in michigan also the the uh state senate voted to override the

00:16:56.960 governor's stay-at-home order in pennsylvania as well so thank you for those patriots that are standing up

00:17:05.140 against growing tyranny in america

00:17:08.620 well we are all shopping online a lot right now i mean a lot uh my wife does most of the shopping

00:18:58.820 what'd you say pat

00:19:10.860 uh welcome to the uh program we have um uh i'm not going to be able to have time to play this harry

00:19:19.360 dent thing but harry is coming up in about an hour from now i also need to tell you about

00:19:23.800 uh something that has been happening behind the scenes that you don't know uh and usa today

00:19:28.860 is a fact checker uh usa today is a facebook fact checker and if a usa today says something is not true

00:19:37.900 then it's not true um china lies exposed is a uh special that i did what two weeks ago and two weeks ago

00:19:50.500 uh we told you uh we told you that the virus was believed to come from a bio lab not bat soup 0.99

00:19:56.440 uh and we told you this information and we played all of the video from china we we gave you the whole case

00:20:04.720 well this was all new information two weeks ago and uh facebook uh listened to usa today

00:20:15.780 and usa today decided that what we did was false information and so we got a notice uh false information

00:20:24.420 found on glenn beck glenn beck shared information that has been reviewed by usa today and we've added

00:20:29.740 a notice to the post so others can see that it is false uh to fight false news news facebook reduces

00:20:37.520 the distribution of misleading content while showing additional reporting on the same topic

00:20:42.900 so what they did we received this notice that said that um your page has been reduced in distribution

00:20:51.280 and other restrictions because of repeated sharing of false news people will also be able to see a page

00:20:57.260 has a history of sharing false news so this meant until we changed it because of usa today uh and said we

00:21:06.660 were wrong our content our distribution our monetization all of it was reduced and all of the

00:21:12.900 strategies that we utilize uh on this page suffered so we refused to back down we said this is true

00:21:21.520 usa today is still saying it's not true they're using a story from like march 15th that said that there

00:21:32.600 was no uh there was no lab involved well as we all know uh facts can change facts can change

00:21:42.880 in in in the middle of march i was with them saying yeah you're right it probably didn't come from a lab it

00:21:50.220 looks like it came but facts have changed now the federal government now the government of the uk now

00:21:56.360 the government of france now the government of every place except for china understands that this came

00:22:04.220 from a laboratory and we're still being punished for it this is why it is so important that you

00:22:12.560 subscribe to blaze tv because they are silencing our voices and you don't even know it and if you

00:22:19.440 ever shared that episode if you shared that with anybody on facebook your voice has also been silenced

00:22:27.320 and you didn't even know it please join us now at blaze tv.com save 30 percent right now

00:22:35.840 you're listening to glenn beck so uh somebody asked me this morning how many times have you

00:22:44.200 gone out and mowed the lawn and i said well none but uh and he said well i've how many times you've

00:22:49.540 been on the on the hustler and i said now that's a different story i've been riding that thing around

00:22:53.980 like it's a race car it is fantastic uh i was at home depot yesterday and i looked at the other zero

00:23:01.380 turn uh mowers and the price and everything else and they just do not compare to a hustler they

00:23:07.460 don't if you are mowing your lawn you got a lot of lawn uh a hustler turf zero turn lawn mower is

00:23:14.760 going to save you a ton of time i guarantee you this is going to be the last mower you ever buy in your

00:23:54.760 need a good read while stuck in quarantine grab glenn's new book arguing the socialists it's out right

00:24:00.420 now

00:24:00.760 this is the glenn beck program we want to go to uh congressman jim jordan from ohio he's a gop house

00:24:20.840 ranking member which is got to be a trip to be in the house right now uh welcome jim jordan how are

00:24:28.180 you sir i'm fine glenn good to be with you this morning thank you uh i i've got so much i want to

00:24:35.700 talk to you about um but thank you first of all for your service and thank you for being on uh we were

00:24:41.440 just uh we were just penalized on uh facebook because of usa today uh they said that uh our

00:24:49.660 report two weeks ago that this uh virus looks like it came from a lab and i'm not i'm not even saying

00:24:57.300 that it was intentionally done but we have the videotape of them collecting this bat virus and 1.00

00:25:03.840 bringing it to that lab um we were just demonetized and called fake news uh and so our distribution has

00:25:11.940 been greatly decreased because of that can you help me out jim is is that story true or not true

00:25:20.580 well it sure appears to be based on what we've uh what we've learned here of late uh of course a lot

00:25:25.940 of people kind of suspected that when you uh when you first reported it but now it looks like in fact

00:25:32.040 lots of sources in our government are saying that's what they think is exactly what happened

00:25:36.620 so um you know but it doesn't surprise us that uh time is not being square with this uh doesn't

00:25:42.320 surprise us that uh the mainstream press is uh trying to to uh go after conservative uh organizations

00:25:48.540 we've seen that before i have i remember it was it was it was uh oh i forget it was about a year

00:25:55.800 and a half ago there were there were uh twitter shadow banned four members of congress uh gates meadows

00:26:01.200 nunez jordan and uh and uh of course they said oh it was just a glitch in our algorithm and i said

00:26:07.000 well you know what'd you put in the algorithm the names gates meadows nunez jordan

00:26:10.540 four conservatives and it was all about the during the whole trump russia thing so yeah it's not not

00:26:18.180 surprising that those kind of things happen i have to tell you this is a problem for me this is a

00:26:22.860 problem with usa today they are a news source they understand the news they were quoting something

00:26:29.000 to use uh against us that was over a month old we had all brand new evidence uh this story is evolving

00:26:36.860 i was not on this conspiracy theory that this is a you know something that they cooked up in the

00:26:42.660 basement to you know collapse the globe or anything like that um and yet our media seems to love china

00:26:49.540 and china has clearly demonstrated itself as an enemy i think to all freedom and common sense in the

00:26:59.900 entire world yeah and and look look at the world look at pelosi defending the world health organization

00:27:06.340 how you gotta be kidding me who's out there shilling for china who is is out there uh uh parroting the the 0.50

00:27:14.920 the false statements we got from from the chinese communist party um i love what my colleague uh

00:27:20.460 louis gohmert says he says that you know because the president now wants to stop payment to china which

00:27:25.340 i'm all or excuse me stop payment to the world health organization which i'm all for right but my

00:27:29.380 my colleague louis gohmert says yeah we don't have to pay organizations to lie to us they'll probably do

00:27:34.560 it for free right so let's let's people i have to tell you i don't understand when i saw the memo uh that

00:27:43.720 that taiwan had sent to the who and the who rejected it because quote taiwan doesn't exist

00:27:51.680 is insane yeah how are we paying the lion's share of that and how are people your colleagues in

00:28:01.160 congress how are they possibly justifying this yeah well they just i think pelosi justifies it because

00:28:08.280 the president's for the other position so it doesn't matter what what what the president's for

00:28:12.720 they're going to be for something opposite even when we all know the president's position is exactly

00:28:16.340 right on this uh that's just who they are they never miss a chance to advance their left-wing

00:28:20.800 craziness you know trying to put the green new deal stuff in the in the package that we had a few

00:28:25.580 weeks ago to help small business owners and families across this country trying to insert all kinds of

00:28:29.800 crazy things and they say never miss a chance to advance try to advance their crazy left policies

00:28:34.400 during a crisis and they never miss an opportunity to attack the president so that's what that's what

00:28:38.740 drives the democrats now we've seen it for three and a half years

00:28:41.360 you are calling now for a halt uh for using zoom for oversight committee business because you are

00:28:51.020 afraid china is what hacking in yeah well it's happened where some of these some of these uh conferences

00:28:59.660 have been hacked into so uh look when you're doing when you're doing a business for the united states

00:29:04.700 congress on behalf of the american people seems to me you should be doing that in a in a more secure

00:29:08.840 way so we've said look let's let's let's let's just do conference calls and more importantly what

00:29:13.700 we've called for is let's get back to work for goodness sake farmers are getting in the fields

00:29:19.120 right now working you got food processors processing food you got truckers hauling the food you got people

00:29:24.080 putting it on the shelves and working in these quote essential businesses but the united states congress

00:29:28.640 can't meet so why don't we just get back in session lots of other people are working but oh the the i

00:29:35.560 said this the other day we have all kinds of task forces glenn doing doing good work but the task force

00:29:40.780 that's supposed to address big issues in our country is called the united states congress and we are

00:29:45.620 missing in action so maybe speaker pelosi instead of critiquing the president all the time and sitting

00:29:50.360 out there in san francisco why don't you put together the plan that says how congress is going to get back

00:29:54.480 to work so we wouldn't even have this zoom question hanging out there we could actually be in

00:29:58.540 committees doing the work we're supposed to be doing on behalf of the american people so jim why

00:30:02.920 doesn't the why don't you as the the gop why don't you all go to washington and every day stand you know in

00:30:11.460 front of cameras saying we're all here uh you know congress is essential if we're going to pass bills

00:30:18.000 we all need to be here where are you democrats yeah yeah and we're actually looking at doing that uh i think

00:30:24.140 you should leaders back there today our leaders back there today and it seems like we should be

00:30:28.060 but particularly think about this what think about the work of the judiciary committee look we got a

00:30:34.040 great memo from the attorney general two days ago where he said look you can't if you can go to the

00:30:38.660 grocery store and shop at the grocery store six feet apart you can certainly go to church on easter

00:30:42.440 sunday and be six feet apart you can't discriminate well like some of these governors are doing so

00:30:46.800 why why shouldn't the judiciary committee be back there talking about the first amendment talking about

00:30:53.220 fundamental liberties that are being infringed around this country that is supposed we're the

00:30:57.720 house judiciary committee we're supposed to be that one committee that is most focused on defending

00:31:03.720 fundamental liberty fundamental freedom and we're seeing all these crazy we had a prosecutor in ohio say

00:31:09.440 he was going to charge people with felonies if they violated the shelter at home uh or law felonies he

00:31:16.940 also said if i was the governor he's a prosecutor of a big county he said he said if i was governor i

00:31:23.260 would call out the national guard to stop people from going to church what what are you talking about

00:31:28.920 so yeah we should be back in session the speaker needs to have a plan but we should be back in session

00:31:33.500 talking about these kind of issues particularly the judiciary committee jim i have to tell you i think

00:31:38.920 that uh donald trump and every single person in congress don't matter which party i think there is

00:31:46.840 real trouble brewing um you know you you've got these banks that got all of their money and then made

00:31:54.260 it harder for small businesses to get a loan you have all of these people lining up for money that

00:32:00.360 aren't getting the money small businesses that are they're going they're going under and they can't

00:32:05.980 wait until the end of next month they don't have the money and i think the perception is going to be

00:32:12.620 if it's not already once again wall street gets their bailout oh look wall street's up course they

00:32:19.420 got all the money and yet we're not getting anything and then we're being treated like children and told

00:32:26.520 to stay inside no a quarantine you quarantine the people who are sick not the people who are healthy

00:32:33.720 and you're stomping on rights and if the president is not hearing that he's the best gut of anybody i've

00:32:43.260 ever seen on the people are you guys seeing what's coming over the horizon yeah well all that underscores

00:32:52.920 one one one fundamental point we have to get back to work we have to the president said this a few weeks

00:32:57.280 ago you're exactly right the president's instincts are spot on when the president said the cure can't be

00:33:02.740 worse than the disease the cure can't be worse than the problem he said three weeks ago and he's

00:33:06.280 reiterated several times since that has to be our focus it is time to go back to work i'm from west

00:33:11.120 central ohio west central ohio is not new york city west central ohio is not even columbus ohio

00:33:15.560 so for goodness sakes why can't why can't people go back to work in west central ohio and follow the

00:33:21.000 guidelines with lots of people are working everybody's there's people there's people stacking the shelves

00:33:26.580 right now they're they're they're working there's health care workers on the front line working 0.98

00:33:29.700 there's truckers taking the the supplies and the goods and certain things that have to be trucked

00:33:33.820 and moved but so so why can't other people go back to work and follow those same guidelines that is

00:33:38.640 what i don't understand i think more and more americans are starting to ask the same question

00:33:41.980 and you saw it on display in michigan when they went to the governor said what are you doing yes the

00:33:46.660 protest that took place there that that is i think more and more people are getting exactly what you're

00:33:50.360 saying yeah so let me ask you one last question um because i know you've got to run and we've got to

00:33:56.440 run but um the the rush into modern monetary theory uh where we are just printing money and now nancy

00:34:09.120 pelosi wants a two thousand dollar basic universal basic income is what she's talking about all of 0.64

00:34:15.360 these things that are being put in even even the white house when they got the airline bailout money

00:34:21.360 they demanded that they pay a portion of it back which they should have paid all of it back

00:34:25.920 um but uh pay part of that back and give us a piece of the company for the united states to own

00:34:34.860 i don't want to own any of these companies right are are you concerned about this fast slide into things

00:34:44.400 that are deadly for america yeah the the the spending has to to stop um what we did in the bill

00:34:53.180 um a few weeks ago now that needed to happen when you tell when you tell companies you can't operate

00:34:58.960 you tell small businesses you can't run your business that that is i view that is almost a

00:35:03.300 takings and so you have to compensate people so that may look a lot of sense and let's make sure that

00:35:10.660 that's there but we can't we can't keep spending money like pelosi wants to do on all kinds of crazy

00:35:15.700 things and you know beyond that so let's focus on helping the families and small business owners

00:35:20.720 but let's not go crazy with the spending uh we already know how how bad our debt situation is

00:35:25.960 uh current i mean jim we gave these banks all the money i mean really literally all the money in the

00:35:32.160 world uh and i don't understand why we didn't say to them in exchange for that is there's a moratorium on

00:35:40.180 on mortgages uh and and uh loans for the next three months and you can't close you can't you know

00:35:48.640 foreclose on anything for three months because we just gave you two trillion dollars so we need

00:35:54.740 something in you know back why didn't we just do that instead of writing people's you know checks if

00:36:01.100 we didn't have to worry about our mortgages or restaurants worrying about having to pay that

00:36:06.100 that the payment for the the you know the uh equipment that they had to buy it would take a

00:36:13.060 lot of pressure off why didn't we do any of that well the the program that was put together that was

00:36:19.560 designed to keep people on payroll keep small businesses afloat during this this difficult times

00:36:24.180 and and and i keep coming back to the the fundamental issue is we have to go back to work you know the

00:36:30.700 people talk about all the fundamentals were strong in our economy before this happened that is true

00:36:34.660 things were going great this the trump economy was booming but the most fundamental thing of an

00:36:39.060 economy is people get up and go to work and provide the goods and services that make us the greatest

00:36:44.160 economy in human history and if that's not happening or only happening partially and we now know 22 million

00:36:49.500 people have filed for unemployment that is a bad position to be in so until that fundamental thing

00:36:55.480 changed all these other things are are are short-term things that sort of had to be done but let's get to

00:37:01.820 the fundamentals let's get people back to work and understand lots of places in this country are

00:37:06.500 not like new york city and we can get back to work i know soon and get things moving in the right

00:37:11.180 direction all right thank you very much uh thanks for standing up and thanks for uh trying to hold

00:37:18.240 some lines here uh representative jim jordan uh you can follow him at jordan.house.gov

00:37:24.420 uh or uh jim jordan um all right we're gonna take a quick break let me tell you about relief factor

00:37:31.080 it's time to give pain a taste of its own medicine i used to suffer from really bad debilitating pain

00:37:39.120 uh i mean if you're watching me you can see i you know i am working not very well but i'm working

00:37:45.240 hard on you know some of the art that i i do i love to paint uh and uh i couldn't i couldn't hold a

00:37:53.520 pencil i couldn't hold a paintbrush uh my hands hurt so bad uh that i couldn't do anything now i'm

00:38:00.800 i just love it and it's because of relief factor what are the things that you're not doing in your

00:38:50.520 tv has made a huge difference in my life since finding the blaze back in january and watching

00:38:55.920 all of the different shows on the platform i have really learned what it means to be a proud american

00:39:00.880 as you well know socialism is pretty popular among those my age group to say the least but

00:39:06.700 listening to your program has really given me the knowledge and passion to stand up for american values

00:39:11.700 unapologetically even among my most opinionated friends i've also been able to change the minds

00:39:18.260 of some of my democratic socialist friends by passing on information i learned from your show

00:39:23.340 and others on the blaze i just really want to thank you and every other member of the blaze team for

00:39:28.260 the positive impact you guys have had on my life you provide such essential service and i recommend

00:39:39.020 enough for being a member of the blaze we need you uh more than ever um i built this so we couldn't be

00:39:48.960 demonetized we couldn't be shut out we couldn't we wouldn't lose track of each other uh and we could we

00:39:56.640 couldn't have boycotts or advertising we weren't reliant on that um we do rely on some advertising uh but

00:40:05.440 that is not the lion's share by any stretch of the imagination you are the lion's share you are what is

00:40:12.800 keeping all of us employed and on the air and our bills paid we know times are tough but as i told you

00:40:20.180 just a few minutes ago uh we have been um demonetized and also uh our distribution on facebook

00:40:28.700 has been uh greatly greatly restricted because of usa today usa today insisted that we weren't telling

00:40:37.280 you the truth uh two weeks ago on my special on wednesday night and so they had us demonetized in

00:40:45.980 and massively banned uh as it turns out we were right uh and now everyone is reporting that that

00:40:54.600 is right but this restriction and this mark against our credibility has not been restored yet

00:41:00.620 and it needs to um but this is why you're so important because no one stands between us if you're

00:42:29.720 depression it's coming this year well how right he was there's another 5 million people that brings

00:42:40.460 our total of 20 21 or 22 million americans now out of work filing for unemployment we are in a

00:42:50.880 depression when are we going back to work all that and more begins in one minute this is the glenbeck

00:42:57.920 program but first let's pat and i talk about our dogs for a second yeah i've got a real dog i've got

00:43:08.100 a man's dog i have a rat you do what kind of dog is it she is a uh a morkie a mix of a maltese and 0.98

00:43:18.820 yorkie so so she's one of she's one of these oh my gosh anytime anybody walks by the house anytime

00:43:27.560 anybody knocks on the door i i can't take it i can't take and i don't know if it's worse to have

00:43:32.940 that or my dog who almost burst my eardrums when somebody comes by you like oh ow ow okay uh anyway

00:43:43.480 um both of our dogs have gained weight and changed on rough greens yeah my dog bell has gone from four

00:43:50.620 to five pounds what yeah i mean that's actually a lot that's a lot of weight it is a lot of weight

00:43:59.800 that's a pretty big percentage my dog's gained about 10 pounds but i don't know about yours but

00:44:05.720 mine is uh it's healthy uh it's he's not getting fat right he's much more active which might be a

00:44:13.260 bad thing for your dog uh but he is outside running i mean he's running the fence line we have like four

00:44:19.920 acres and he's making loops around the fence line he is active and healthy and a huge difference

00:44:26.420 uh you put your dog into a shoe box are they running the the shoe box the corn all four

00:44:31.920 well it's kind of a long way for her but uh yeah she tries she tries all right so rough greens it is

00:45:06.620 welcome to the program on monday we had a michigan state lawmaker who said uh she had the 1.00

00:45:25.020 coronavirus and she was cured by uh hydroxychloroquine and she she credited uh donald trump well she's a

00:45:35.440 democrat and apparently you can't say anything nice about somebody if you're in the wrong party

00:45:40.700 well that didn't stop her and she went to meet with president trump on tuesday she was asking for

00:45:46.920 help for the people of detroit detroit is really really uh suffering right now and so i wanted to get

00:45:54.140 an update from her on how that meeting went and uh what was decided uh if anything welcome again to

00:46:00.660 the program uh democrat state representative uh karen witsett hi karen how are you hi glenn thank you for

00:46:08.760 having me back on again i really appreciate it sure so tell me what happened well it was an amazing

00:46:16.540 experience to be able to be at the white house um not for myself but for the city of detroit and for the

00:46:23.400 people that i represent that i call my family so um to be able to to speak to the president as well

00:46:31.240 as to the vice president that was it was first off an honor um that i did not expect but to be able to

00:46:39.360 let them know firsthand that i did not feel that they were being handed the truth of what was going

00:46:44.160 down in the city of detroit and that they needed to be made aware that we need to put people over

00:46:49.720 politics and that i'm not going to let my people in the city of detroit believe be a political pawn

00:46:55.080 in this game this has been going on for far too long and we know that as far as history goes back

00:47:00.400 that people will be used as a political pawn whatever the issue may be and that is what i'm

00:47:05.600 not going to allow so i am on here and i went on there and i went there to talk about the fact that

00:47:14.120 my people will not be used for the democratic party that's not going to happen so karen it 0.57

00:47:23.160 shouldn't be they shouldn't be used for the gop either right and i know you mean that um as well

00:47:28.280 but um i am it is such an honor to talk to you in a time where we are being trained to stay away from

00:47:35.520 each other this is affecting all of us it doesn't matter who you voted for coronavirus doesn't care

00:47:42.040 it doesn't care when you when you went did you feel the president and the vice president listened

00:47:48.400 to you and headway was made absolutely i mean they were actually stunned by the information that i gave

00:47:55.940 them um they were not aware that we were in such bad shape and that was um very disheartening to me

00:48:05.340 to hear that directly from the vice president how do you think that that happened and do you think

00:48:11.860 that was genuine i honestly were genuinely surprised oh oh they were genuinely surprised

00:48:18.040 they were absolutely genuinely surprised it was not a game it wasn't it wasn't an act they were

00:48:23.420 genuinely surprised that they you know because up in the upper part of michigan in the upper part of

00:48:29.120 michigan everyone is doing what they need to do the executive they're honoring the executive orders

00:48:33.500 in the lower part of michigan where i am in detroit dearborn area the executive orders are not being

00:48:39.620 honored but they can't be honored if you don't have what you need i'm tired of getting the phone

00:48:44.700 calls that i'm receiving yesterday i got the most heartbreaking phone call from beaumont hospital

00:48:50.580 nurse who is crying talk and she's at home she's sick with the with the virus and she's talking about

00:48:58.720 how the reuse of equipment at beaumont rural oak she's talking about how babies are being tested positive

00:49:04.740 for the covet virus and she's talking about how she's at home sick and how i have to do something

00:49:12.460 and please do something and to stop this and how we're losing wayne county sheriffs to this virus and

00:49:18.640 how many are sick because they don't have not even thermometers not even proper ppe how people are still

00:49:25.140 having water shutoffs here when we're not supposed to have water shutoffs how people have started

00:49:29.740 evictions here in february and they're still being carried out in march and april and this has to

00:49:36.920 stop we have and we have pipes pipes that are not connected in people's homes so therefore they still

00:49:43.280 do not have any water we still have problems in flint michigan we still have problems and let's not

00:49:50.500 talk about the hot days in our senior citizen homes and our charter schools our charter kids are not 0.90

00:49:58.200 getting food you are you are at the level that no one in this country is really talking about except i

00:50:32.740 we have drop-off points where you can go pick up food but if you don't have access to go and get it

00:50:39.680 how are you supposed to get it and this is what's happening to my seniors as well they don't fall in the

00:58:19.220 between her and if i would say that to nancy pelosi about helping people in san francisco 0.99

00:58:25.060 now do you think she would have that same reaction uh no no i don't this woman is amazing 0.98

00:58:33.460 just amazing how much she cares about the people and i don't care about her politics right yeah i mean

00:58:40.580 you could feel that she was just so elated that you know you offered to help and that there was help

00:58:46.820 on the way not just uh not only from the president but from mercury one i mean she broke down in tears

00:59:26.580 uh with cities i think we did 10 000 ppes for uh new orleans um we are delivering food to food banks

00:59:35.300 uh we are all over the country uh right now and we are currently really focusing on domestic abuse

00:59:44.020 um and suicide it is the domestic abuse situation in america nobody is talking about this yet but you

00:59:52.660 want to talk about you know it bothers me so much when people say we got to get a country back working

00:59:58.260 again for the economy well that's not the only reason there is also a ton of suffering going on and and

01:00:06.420 more than economic imagine those who are in right now abusive relationships they're they're locked in

01:00:14.580 their house with the abuser all the time child abuse and spousal abuse is off the charts depression

01:00:23.780 is off the charts i mean i'm having a hard time staying at home and just you know not going into

01:00:31.460 depression it is really really difficult this is something that humans are not used to doing this

01:00:39.700 we are social beings you know i have friends who are trapped in their house by themselves yeah

01:00:47.060 are you kidding me did you see the report that uh americans right now are spending an average

01:00:53.220 of eight hours a day on netflix yeah eight hours wow i mean so i mean that's but if that's what you

01:01:04.900 have to do yeah if that's what you've got to stave off the uh the depression or the anxiety or

01:01:12.100 whatever you're feeling you just want to get your mind off of it or just the boredom yeah or just the

01:01:16.660 boredom there's i mean if you were there by yourself uh you know what else are you gonna do right i mean

01:01:23.140 i've cleaned out all of my closets you know i've cleaned my garages out i've done everything that

01:01:29.620 i can do i mean i'm power washing my house today i mean i i'm out i'm out of stuff to do uh so uh you

01:01:38.580 know it's it's a it's a a difficult time a really difficult and you just want to feel normal again

01:01:44.900 and if it if it takes you know some show that you're binge watching then that's what you're gonna do

01:01:49.780 you're just fine well yep although i don't know you don't know if some of the stuff we're binge

01:01:53.940 watching like you know ozark if that's making you feel normal again it's probably that's a different

01:02:00.260 issue that's making you feel normal yeah that's uh that's probably a bad thing uh you might want to

01:02:04.980 look into um we have harry dent coming up in just a second he was on this show um a few months ago uh in

01:02:12.340 the fall and he said 2020 uh is the year of another great depression he said we are headed for

01:02:20.580 a great depression and at that time all of the metrics said there's no way he called it

01:02:27.780 um we just got another five million people out on the unemployment uh rolls uh for the week uh and they

01:02:35.060 are still you know what a surprise in michigan they can't get people can't get through to the

01:02:40.420 unemployment line to be able to file um so there are more people that are even backlogged we're about

01:02:46.500 20 million people now that are that are officially unemployed for the first time

01:02:52.420 uh our unemployment is at least 10 percent maybe 15 maybe as high as 20 harry is here

01:02:57.860 to tell us okay what does all of this mean what do we do as individuals uh and does our economy come

01:03:08.100 back next to glenn beck all right um my pillow uh is you know i don't want to talk about the pillows or

01:03:18.420 sheets or anything i don't want to talk about this company mike lindell is an amazing guy um you know i

01:03:25.140 did a sit-down interview with him there's one of our podcasts with mike lindell you have to see it

01:03:29.380 but he is passionate about helping people in fact the reason why he sobered up and and got help and

01:03:37.220 changed his life and started my pillow is because he was convinced that my pillow was going to be the

01:03:43.300 vehicle that would fund help for people um and that's exactly what he's doing and when he heard that

01:03:50.980 we were short of masks he retooled his entire company and they're making what is it five million

01:03:57.540 masks a week uh something like that uh that was at least a couple of weeks ago my pillow is a special

01:04:03.860 company they have great pillows their sheets are unbelievable right now you can get buy one get one

01:04:10.420 free on their sheets all you have to do is get the promo code back please support this company it's

01:04:15.860 mypillow.com promo code back or you can call 800-966-3117 mypillow.com back get our biggest

01:04:24.100 discount ever this quarantine season go to blaze tv.com use the promo code glenn to get thirty dollars

01:04:31.300 off your subscription i just got a notification that uh facebook is going to be alerting people

01:04:42.980 if you have come up uh and uh crossed uh misinformation about the coronavirus i i warn you

01:04:50.500 be very careful um they they demonetized us and throttled us way back at uh glenn beck uh my facebook

01:05:00.100 page because i posted uh the the show two weeks ago uh that it looks like not as a weapon but it looks

01:05:09.860 like the chinese were doing a study on bats and they brought them back to this this uh

01:05:16.740 uh this laboratory in wuhan and that's where this thing came from not from bat soup well two weeks ago 0.95

01:05:24.100 that was new information and usa today deemed that uh fake information and fake news we are still uh being

01:05:33.940 penalized for that and been on the list of fake news you might get a notice saying glenn beck has been

01:05:39.780 passing around fake news that is not fake news and we stand by it and we demand that our ban be taken

01:05:46.500 off but this is one reason why please please become a member of blaze tv because you're going to get

01:05:54.420 information in real time and if the media decides they don't like that information for instance ap is now

01:06:02.500 saying that it's just the far right that has a problem in michigan no i think there's a lot of

01:06:09.780 people that are having a problem with the governor of michigan and they're not all far right just

01:06:13.300 because you believe in the bill of rights is not far right uh and i say this now because uh i've asked

01:06:19.700 uh harry dent to come back on the program he is the guy who was uh here in the fall and he predicted

01:06:26.500 that we would hit a great depression at the time that looked like it was insane uh turns out not so

01:06:33.940 insane uh looks like that's exactly what we're in right now so we wanted to talk to him about what

01:06:39.780 he's seen and what we should do as individuals and is there an exit on this one welcome to the program

01:06:48.740 harry dent how are you sir nice to be back glenn it's good to have you back uh harry i wish uh that i

01:06:56.420 could say you were wrong um but uh you're not you've been you you are a bit like me um you might be wrong on timing

01:07:06.660 sometimes uh but you're not wrong on the direction and this one is quite a call that you made uh on this program

01:07:14.500 you said we are we are uh going to be in a depression in 2020 uh and uh what was it that you saw

01:07:23.620 that predicted this because it's now being brought on by this virus well you know glenn last time we

01:07:31.620 talked you were contacting me because you were seeing the same thing i was this oh this little

01:07:36.740 repo crisis you know this was not a total full-out resumption of quantitative easing it was it was a

01:07:42.660 total panic it got up to 700 billion in a matter of a few months to cover these leveraged investment

01:07:50.100 stuff overnight stuff that banks are supposed to cover themselves wouldn't fed had to step in they

01:07:55.140 panicked so much they didn't only did that they bought a bunch of t-bills and now they're buying

01:07:59.140 everything and then they had a five trillion credit line this was the system breaking down the federal

01:08:05.220 reserve and central banks have had us now since early 2009 on emergency support endless money printing to

01:08:12.820 keep the whole banking system and weak demographics and excessive debt here and around the world from

01:08:18.980 breaking down which it wants to do so we can get healthy again and get rid of a lot of this accesses

01:08:24.340 and and so in you know 2017 they said well we'll taper well you know you know this is this was just a

01:08:30.340 short-term black swan and we're over it now by the way that's that 11 9 years later then and then of

01:08:36.980 course when they started to drain the reserves the bank stopped funding the repos and and and everything

01:08:42.020 went bad and here we are now what what happened what i saw then right as we're talking this was what i

01:08:48.580 call the final orgasmic phase this bubble's been going and going and people like you and i warn 0.66

01:08:54.100 against it and they just print more money but i saw this final orgasmic phase with this repo thing

01:09:00.260 the market was going up directly in step with every dollar they printed in that repo panic and i knew

01:09:06.740 that i was saying this is going to peak by early march to mid may at the rate it's going compared to

01:09:12.020 past final phases and the only thing to cut it a few weeks early was this great virus i hate to say it 0.55

01:09:17.220 it's i i i like this virus in one stupid way and that it's the perfect trigger because the center 0.53

01:09:24.260 it's the one thing the central banks can't stop by just printing ever more money it doesn't stop 0.95

01:09:29.300 the virus it may cushion the economy less and less didn't stop this virus and the virus took this thing

01:09:35.060 down and i i always said i mean way back you'll know this bubbles over when you get a first sudden

01:09:42.100 40 percent give or take crash in two two and a half months that's exactly what we just got and i

01:09:47.140 think we still have chances are we got one more leg down in this until we get a rebound that allows

01:09:53.140 people to get out and that's going to be the real reprieve here a lot of people going to miss this

01:09:56.740 person but there is going to be a better chance to get out and reposition okay so hang on just a

01:10:01.940 second harry because um i don't believe in the stock market at all i mean we didn't we're not getting

01:10:08.100 healthy we're printing even more money the fed owns almost everything now they're the largest

01:10:14.420 landowner in the world they own our treasuries they're buying them up i mean how is this getting

01:10:20.420 us more healthy and japan japan and europe's done this more than us japan's been buying stocks for a

01:10:25.460 long time we're going to end up right that and now the feds yes all types of bonds corporate munis junk

01:10:32.180 bonds they're propping everything up and they've been doing it for now 11 years and it doesn't

01:10:38.340 work japan has never come out of a long downturn 30 years later and getting ready to go deeper and

01:10:45.220 we're getting ready to finally see the deleveraging um and and and and getting rid of debt and excessive

01:10:52.100 bubbles that should have happened in 2009 and 10 we would have been over this by now if they hadn't

01:10:57.780 stepped in and just goosed everything up artificially you're right the stock market has nothing to do

01:11:04.180 with the economy it is a hundred twenty percent overvalued at the repeat recent peak ten times

01:11:09.620 more any time than history because of this money printing has only created asset price inflation

01:11:15.540 especially in stocks it has not reignited the economy which has been growing the slowest in all of

01:11:21.300 history okay so um i said a couple of years ago that i felt that stocks could go 30 000 to 40 000

01:11:30.980 and we would have a melt up uh and then it would just shut down um i don't think we're i i i we haven't

01:11:40.820 hit that and i think with all this money printing and everything else and everybody is just screaming

01:11:45.220 about oh my gosh look the stocks are up today i think we're still going we're headed for a melt up do you

01:11:51.060 agree or not you know i i think you get a semi one i i think this was it i think this was the top

01:11:58.500 the reason is and remember what i just said this is the perfect trigger last time the trigger was the

01:12:04.020 subprime mortgage crisis and that was minor in the global scale it was only four states it was only 14

01:12:11.060 percent of consumer debt only in the united states only nobody else had a subprime crisis but it triggered

01:12:17.620 a worldwide collapse because the world was heavily in debt demographic trends were turning down which

01:12:22.820 is something i can easily predict decades in advance and and so that's what caused them it was

01:12:28.980 a trigger but the bigger thing was a change in demographic trends when the world was awash in

01:12:34.580 debt way more than in time history well now we're way more awash another 90 trillion in global debt

01:12:40.420 most of that in emerging countries who are less credit worthy most of it in corporate debt and government

01:12:46.420 debt not consumer this time and so we're just worse off more overstretched and what i think happens

01:12:53.140 here and it is possible we have one more new high in the markets but i think only the nasdaq may make

01:12:58.820 that and i don't even know of that because we're going into this deep shock i mean i went through this

01:13:03.540 at the hurricane in puerto rico three months of total zero the economy knocked out no internet no tv no phones no

01:13:14.820 nothing we i had to go to new york for three months and come back for a slow recovery but it was dead

01:13:21.380 this is a deep freeze now what that does is it shows how weak the economy is how many corporations

01:13:28.260 are going to default and even if they get some level of government assistance which is going to be too

01:13:32.660 little and too late and consumers to get laid off for the third time in the last 10 years and baby boomers a

01:13:38.100 lot of them very close to retirement anyway and just decide i'm not coming back we're not going to

01:13:43.300 come back full way so markets are going to try they're already bouncing a little stronger than

01:13:48.420 they should with a big but i don't i put the odds of a new high not that high and by the way going

01:13:54.100 that the dow got within points of 30 000 um and then i was my target was 10 000 on the nasdaq and we

01:14:00.820 got within points of that too so i think that was the top this is the first 40 crash i think we got

01:14:07.780 one more leg down when the reality sets in and then we're going to rally like we did in the first

01:14:14.020 1929 crash the biggest bubble before this one the to the the last tech bubble that crashed in early 2000

01:14:22.020 uh that first crash um we got a little more go then we have like maybe three four five months

01:14:27.140 rally into the election and that's when boy we can yeah take didn't get out of stocks let them bounce

01:14:33.460 and then get out and boy really play it safe okay so harry i want to talk to you uh beyond stocks um

01:14:41.140 because i i don't see i don't see a way out um they're debasing our currency we are headed headlong into

01:14:52.260 socialism and and everything else everything everything bad um and uh we we lost another

01:15:00.580 what five five five million people joined the jobless roles this week i any guess what our

01:15:07.300 unemployment number is going to be when it comes out next month yeah i think we're between 14 and

01:15:13.140 17 already percent and it's going to be just in this first shock as high as 20 now that the great

01:15:19.380 depression had a 25 percent peak early on in an 18 percent secondary that is great depression levels

01:15:26.020 and again now i think we're going to get this first shock for the second quarter maybe bleed in

01:15:30.660 the third quarter there will be some sort of rebound but we we don't there's no way glenn no freaking

01:15:36.580 way the economy even gets close back to normal travel plans have been canceled i i had speaking

01:15:43.140 engagements around the world canceled and nobody's even thinking about anything the rest of your 90 and

01:15:48.260 nobody's thinking about traveling anywhere in a jet jet travel passengers are down 95 cruise ships

01:15:54.420 annihilated hotels i mean this you don't come back from this so the only thing that will try to come

01:16:00.900 back will be like you said stocks i i bet stocks don't make it to new highs and the only index that

01:16:06.900 might might be that nasdaq and it might make a slight new high it might just go up and ring 10 000

01:16:12.260 and then i would run and get out of stocks they're not they're going to go down for two some years

01:16:18.020 after that they're going to be down eighty percent or more i've been forecasting this for 20 years not just

01:16:22.420 recent years when this great boom and bubble peaks stocks will go down 80 to 90 percent like they did

01:16:28.740 in 1929 to 32 not 50 like they did in the long recession in the 70s or any other time so you got

01:16:35.380 to get out real estate's going to go down it just goes down later than stocks and less but it's going

01:16:40.500 to go down and now you know uh last time it was 34 percent the u.s i think it's going to be 40 to 50 this

01:16:47.780 time imagine the foreclosures and the bank problems from that so so this is this is the biggest thing

01:16:54.580 in our lifetimes if you don't get out of the way of it and again i've studied these things everyone

01:16:59.940 in history particularly the two big ones of the last century in the u.s you are going to get because

01:17:05.540 of this mass stimulus you are going to get some sort of reprieve probably into august september october

01:17:11.700 right in maybe as much as the election i'm telling you after the all the stimulus election and trump

01:17:17.220 getting re-elected or not or whatever happens this thing's going to fall apart all the smart

01:17:22.180 money in silicon valley are trying to get any ipo out while they can because they all know after the

01:17:27.700 election this thing's going to hell got the smart money okay harry okay harry hold on just a second

01:21:34.740 now arguing with socialists you're listening to glenn beck

01:21:52.180 hello america welcome to the glenn beck program we are going to uh skip our coronavirus update uh today

01:22:00.180 because i have harry dent i held him uh over from last hour harry is a guy he's a best-selling author

01:22:07.940 he's a financial editor one of the most outspoken he is also usually right he's got his mba from harvard

01:22:15.460 business school blah blah blah blah blah but he has learned a way to read the graphs and the tea leaves

01:22:21.620 if you will and be able to see things uh before they happen uh he was on our program uh this fall and

01:22:28.820 he said 2020 is going to be uh a crash and it's going to put us into the great depression so what

01:22:36.580 does all of that mean to you a business owner we are probably between 15 and 20 percent unemployment

01:22:44.580 today as we stand another five million people were on and uh added to the unemployment rolls today uh so

01:22:51.380 what does that mean for all of us forget about the stock market how about you on main street what do

01:22:58.260 we do what do we look like in three months and six months in a year from now we talk to harry in one

01:23:05.460 minute this is the glenn beck program

01:23:08.340 i want to talk to you about gold line i cannot tell you what is coming do not listen to me for

01:23:18.740 investment advice uh but i will tell you that i a long time ago uh have been telling you to invest

01:23:26.180 in gold because gold is at the end of it all the world always returns to gold i do not buy it as an

01:23:35.300 investment although it has been a very good investment for me uh and i think millions of our

01:23:40.420 listeners uh as well things are going to get worse before they get better uh and i don't know and i'd

01:23:48.500 be interested to hear from harry what he thinks will happen to the u.s dollar i don't even know if we get

01:23:52.820 out of this in five years with our currency that we currently have it's so debased please consider uh gold

01:24:01.220 and and if it works out to be a great investment great if it doesn't you have something of real

01:24:08.100 value uh and i i want you to at least consider it please do your own homework uh we are we've

01:24:15.460 all been devastated and do not run headlong into anything and say i'm going to take all my money and

01:24:22.100 put it into whatever don't do that diversify as much as you possibly can because nobody can predict

01:24:29.700 the future 866 gold line you're smart enough to get all of the information and figure out if it's

01:24:35.060 right for you or not uh call gold line now at 866 gold line they're standing by they'll give you all the

01:24:41.300 information 866 gold line or goldline.com harry dent the author of the book zero hour he put it out

01:24:55.780 uh quite a while ago uh quite a while ago and uh it's uh beginning to look like oh now's the time

01:25:02.180 we should have all read that book uh he was on the program uh in the fall and he said we are going to hit

01:25:09.300 around march and we're going to hit a great depression he did and you know nobody knew about

01:25:14.660 the coronavirus uh but that was the trigger that forced this house of cards down uh harry we talked

01:25:22.180 about the stock market and everything else last hour i want to talk to you about uh things like

01:25:28.260 for instance um inflation versus deflation we're probably headed for deflation where

01:25:37.140 nothing has real value our home our homes are worth about half right is that what we're headed

01:25:44.500 towards yeah yeah yeah basically the big when when the when the central banks inflated all this money

01:25:50.420 they didn't give it to consumers or even put it into the banking system or businesses or anything

01:25:54.900 like they're finally doing this finally they just bought financial assets from banks to give them

01:25:59.860 liquidity to keep them from going under and they ignited a huge financial asset bobble that so stocks

01:26:06.740 and real estate stocks the most then real estate um those type of and and most bonds are way overvalued

01:26:14.180 and they have to reset back down to reality that's going to destroy a lot of money there's money in your

01:26:20.100 bank so if you spend but there's money in your brokerage account that's going to disappear even

01:26:24.260 more that's money so if you can't if you can sell your house or have to sell your house now is the

01:26:30.420 time to i mean you know there's no better time than right now uh but if you don't have to can you ride

01:26:36.820 this out i mean what does it look at does it come back in five six years it does not glenn for the

01:26:42.900 first time in history we have a smaller generation following a large one the baby boom peak around the

01:26:48.900 world and particularly here in the united states in in birth in the early 60s and in their inflation

01:26:53.780 impact 20 years later when they hit the workforce in the 70s so that's done we're never going to have

01:27:00.340 that much growth again and now the baby boomers are dying faster than the millennials coming along to 0.99

01:27:05.620 buy real estate will not come back fast and will not come back new i i advise selling all non-strategic

01:27:12.740 real estate and in real estate that's bubbly even i i i'm not living in i'm not owning my primary home

01:27:19.380 but i own my vacation home on an island because it's going to you know better zoning and it's a

01:27:24.340 special place i don't even own my my uh primary home right now i'm willing to buy after this you're

01:27:29.940 going to get the bargain of your life here's the difference in real estate what you said is to sell

01:27:34.740 real estate right now you've got less time real estate freezes up in a crash stocks even when you're late

01:27:40.500 you can still sell they're very liquid same with high quality bonds and stuff you've got to move

01:27:44.980 on real estate now stocks i'd say more like august september october into the election is going to be

01:27:51.140 the time to sell at an even better price especially if we go lower first so real estate is the hardest

01:27:57.700 to get out of and you're going to get the biggest penalty if you wait because it just freezes up and

01:28:02.340 nobody wants to buy it so we have 20 percent let's just say 20 unemployment uh when does that number

01:28:11.780 start to come down harry okay first of all three scenarios in the past the 80 to 82 uh deep recession

01:28:19.220 and 29 to 32 bubble crash and the 2000 2000 tech bubble crash all have the same shape there's nothing

01:28:25.940 black swan about this glenn it starts with the first crash when the reality sets in and the bubble burst

01:28:31.460 we're in that now that's going to cause a sharp sudden downturn in the economy like happened in

01:28:36.500 the first half of 1980 then all the stimulus will cause a couple of a quarter or two of rebound but

01:28:41.940 that won't work because too much damage has been done and we go into a two-year slide into deleveraging

01:28:49.220 deflation of assets that's when deflation sets in before inflation follows after so deflation does come

01:28:55.620 first and then inflation that's important to understand that deflation is about loans being restructured

01:29:01.380 and financial assets coming down to reality and that's where you lose your money that's where

01:29:05.220 your business gets in trouble if you're not ahead of it and hunker down that's where people get

01:29:09.940 unemployed uh and all this sort of stuff and so you have to be ahead of this on every minute if you

01:29:15.940 got a good job be nice to your boss and keep it if you can do something on the side for business do

01:29:22.100 that if you can hunker down on your business cut costs ahead of your competitors the point of this

01:29:26.580 whole thing is to get the economy healthy again out of debt into reality prices back to where people

01:29:32.500 can invest in the future and afford to buy a home healthy but that's going to be painful you got to

01:29:37.700 get out of the way of this ahead of everybody else if your business just survives this downturn you're

01:29:43.220 going to have double the market share for years and decades to come you're going to come out stronger

01:29:47.940 than ever if you like joseph kennedy sold his stocks at the top and then rebuy when they're

01:29:53.860 down 70 80 90 you're going to you're going to have the greatest gains in your life yeah my grandfather

01:30:00.900 used to say he lived through the great depression he said those who had money those who didn't lose

01:30:05.380 it right at the beginning they made a killing um so in the business general motors passed forward

01:30:12.580 forever it became the largest corporation in the world right out of that right general motors

01:30:18.020 everybody in business should read about what general motors did in uh world war ii and the

01:30:22.740 great depression because they were the real winners um they were really really ahead of the game

01:30:29.300 other big winner was the mafia the mafia played the boom the roaring bootlegging and the and became the

01:30:35.460 loan shark for small businesses in the depression and just just hit a home run both ways but the

01:30:41.460 mafia probably played mafia general motors and joseph kennedy are the three great examples how you make a

01:30:47.140 fortune in a crash instead of losing most your asset uh and only one of them was really legitimate um

01:30:54.020 so uh so harry let me let me go to the people who are and i i mean what do restaurants look like i mean

01:31:05.700 i don't know how the mom and pop restaurant survives this okay look i went to the again

01:31:14.180 the hurricane in puerto rica we were totally out for three months when we get back you crawl back

01:31:19.060 and guess what i had 21 restaurants within a block and a half of my condo and six out of seven good

01:31:25.860 ones went under and never came back and and one out of three of the bad ones went under and never came

01:31:30.660 back the cheapos and they just don't come back um because a lot of businesses are already over in

01:31:36.900 debt or have weak market positions this just brings that a lot so so people who think oh this is just

01:31:42.420 the virus and when it goes back all this stimulus will come back a v-shaped recovery there is no v-shaped

01:31:49.460 recovery to this no way only stocks will try that and they will fail all right so um let me go back

01:31:58.020 to the unemployment when do we start seeing because i we have significant unrest if we have 20

01:32:05.060 unemployment for very long idea another reason i'm glad i'm in puerto rico glennam we've been in 14

01:32:10.180 years of recession and no civil unrest okay 80 82 is a great example so is the 30s but that's more

01:32:15.940 even the first shock unemployment went up to eight percent and then when when gdp came back for a

01:32:21.940 quarter quarter and a half all it did was kind of edge back down to like seven percent because it's still

01:32:27.700 the economy's weak like i said you don't come v-shape out of it and then in the next phase late 81 82 it

01:32:34.660 went up to 11 so double those figures this time let's call that 15 plus in the first shock and then

01:32:41.860 you go down a little bit and then you go to 20 25 percent in the longer shock this is serious there is

01:32:49.380 going to be civil unrest it's going to get a point where the government can't backstop every small

01:32:54.020 business and every person like they're doing it you're going to realize but the government this

01:32:58.260 time after the last shock and stimulating for nine to eleven years nobody knows better than this than

01:33:03.700 the central bank how weak the economy is because they keep pumping viagra into this thing and nothing

01:33:09.220 happens and so they are they're blowing their whole wad right at the beginning what else can they do

01:33:15.300 and there's not i tell small businesses get every subsidy or loan you'll get right now

01:33:20.500 you know consumers get anything you can get be first in line because this is going to run out

01:33:25.780 and don't have your money in in normal bank bank accounts other than pay your bills have it in a

01:33:30.820 brokerage account in safe haven investments under your own name that cannot be lent against and lose that

01:33:36.340 money the government can't back all the bank accounts in in the country either so you have to get

01:33:42.740 safe you can't listen to warren buffett or the experts or wall street or politicians the least they're

01:33:49.060 all going to tell you this is okay don't panic i this is one time you should panic and cover your

01:33:55.460 assets so wait wait wait so where is the what is the safe haven okay number one we just saw it glenn

01:34:04.900 we just saw it except for one except i told people the number one is the 10 and 30 year yes u.s treasury

01:34:11.780 bonds because they won't default you know they have to print money to pay them off second is triple a

01:34:16.980 only the highest quality corporate bonds don't have the default risk when interest rates go down so

01:34:23.460 bonds like interest rates going down but only the highest quality well guess what in this crash the

01:34:28.340 ten year the treasury bonds did great the triple a corporate didn't do so well because when you see

01:34:33.460 your cruise line or an airline or a retail store and you see 50 to 80 percent declines your triple a

01:34:39.140 rating turns into junk overnight and you trade like a junk bond so so so really it's the treasury bonds at

01:34:45.140 first and then when things settle down the triple a so that is the best so wait wait wait wait but

01:34:50.820 how do you do you have belief in a long-term treasury i mean you know you say well they'll just print

01:34:56.580 their money they'll they have to pay out well i mean money has no value yeah no no that's that's not

01:35:03.700 true going currencies trade relative to each other and i can tell you this i've said this for years

01:35:08.340 nobody gets it till it happens it happened in 2008 when the layman brothers and things went the

01:35:13.220 worst the u.s dollar went up twenty eight percent and all the other currencies went down we are not

01:35:18.660 a good house we're just the best house in a bad neighborhood japan has printed 105 percent of their 1.00

01:35:24.420 gdp now we're at 20 europe's at 42 now we're all amping up again we are the best house we're still

01:35:31.540 the reserve currency loans around the world are made in dollars when those loans go bad especially in

01:35:36.980 the emerging world dollars are going to disappear there's going to be fewer dollars which means they're worth

01:35:41.940 more temporarily i say the u.s dollar and particularly the u.s treasury bonds and highest

01:35:47.300 quality corporate bonds hold up the best in deflation at first after that no i'm not it i'm

01:35:52.980 not in the dollar after the dollar just does well is the best house in the crisis like it did in 2008

01:35:59.300 when we go into the next boom it's all going to be about asia and leaving less about china it's going 1.00

01:36:03.620 to be about india southeast asia there's no way the u.s is going to be the reserve currency in the

01:36:08.340 future i'm just saying the u.s dollar i mean there's not enough gold to back everything and

01:36:14.660 cryptos cryptos are the biggest bubble ball i've been saying the cryptos are going to go down the

01:36:18.980 most when this happens it's crazy already proven not to be now just recently in just this first crash

01:36:25.540 treasury bonds did the best uh the u.s dollar went up other currencies went down gold went up in the

01:36:30.900 early stages as it did in 2008 and then retreated some gold was still the next best to those high

01:36:36.500 quality bonds because it held its value better than other commodities and way better than stocks

01:36:42.020 but the ultimate safe haven i'm telling you it's going to be the 10 to 30 year treasure bond during

01:36:47.860 the crisis after that those very treasury bonds and all bonds are going to go into a 20 year plus

01:36:53.780 bear market with rising rates inflation is going to follow not high inflation but but knowing inflation

01:37:00.500 is going to follow this crisis and bonds are going to be trash but in this crisis only the best ones

01:37:06.100 are good and of course cash just sitting in cash so i would have cash like i'd have high quality

01:37:12.980 bond i'd have some gold it's also a great diversified and that's it and if you want to hedge you can

01:37:18.820 put some money in a simple unleveraged inverse fund s&p 500 you know i'd bet against that you buy

01:37:25.140 s h s p y on the way up s h will just go down if the s&p goes down you know 40 percent here then you're

01:37:33.460 up 40 and it ultimately goes down 80 you're up 80 and you're not on leverage not going to get margin

01:37:37.940 calls you just sit on it and maybe you put 10 or 20 percent of your portfolio in that so small amount

01:37:43.140 inverse funds small amount in gold a lot in high quality bonds that's where i would be but you have

01:37:49.220 now you're going to have several months to prepare for this uh you know so so it's the real estate you

01:37:55.140 should focus on first because that just dries up and i've seen that happen time and time again nobody

01:38:00.740 wants to buy a house and no bank will lend uh to buy a house if he even if somebody wants to

01:38:18.500 that we're going through right now uh and he uh backs all of it up with charts and graphs and i mean

01:38:24.260 he said that it would be probably about march that we would hit the great depression and uh that's uh

01:38:30.340 pretty accurate pretty accurate so we'll um we'll keep in touch with him and uh you should read zero hour

01:38:37.460 by harry dent harry dent dot com

01:38:40.180 well you might not like the truth but i think that is the truth um and we all have to really prepare

01:40:54.780 you know pat i don't know about you but the the most disturbing part of this is uh the fact that there's no one you can trust

01:41:18.340 uh the media is not telling you the truth um you know right now i just got this uh just got this from

01:41:25.460 facebook i mean this is this is absolute craziness uh facebook said thursday will be alerting users if

01:41:33.380 they've interacted with harmful misinformation about coronavirus part of a series of new aggressive

01:41:37.460 steps to combat what uh health authorities have described as global infodemic the messages which will

01:41:43.440 appear in users news feeds will direct people to official credible information from the world health

01:41:48.920 organization in attempt to ensure dangerous myths about the disease and its order so they are doubling

01:41:56.460 down on the who we know what the who is doing there's no one you can trust um thomas massey came out

01:42:06.680 uh and he just tweeted that his friend's deceased father just got a stimulus package of 1200 they're dead

01:42:15.480 uh when you have high unemployment a wasting of dollars wall street doing well and a press that is

01:42:26.280 telling you information that we know is wrong yeah how do we survive well how do we survive the who just on

01:42:35.380 january 14th was citing china's line that you couldn't pass this coronavirus from human to human

01:42:43.680 there was no human to human transmission that was january 14th from the who uh you you can't trust the

01:42:50.560 who as far as you can throw them but facebook is and they're alerting you if you listen to people like

01:42:57.460 me or if you get any of my any of my posts on facebook we are going to be severely throttled and a

01:43:04.840 campaign is going to start saying that we are giving you false information about the who it's not

01:43:10.460 true jeez jeez louise all right uh relief factor if you want to uh get out of pain if you are a

01:43:21.780 frequent sufferer of pain may i suggest you try relief factor relief factor is truly a miracle drug at

01:43:30.700 least it was for me um and i shouldn't call it a drug because it's not it's drug free um it was

01:43:36.080 developed by doctors and our main source of pain in our body comes from inflammation when something is

01:43:41.860 wrong you get inflammation and that is what causes pain so relief factor goes in and it reduces

01:43:49.320 inflammation and it does a number like i i don't even know how it works i don't care how it works

01:45:03.980 dictator in the country there's a national award a state award i'm thinking that might go to the

01:45:11.280 governor of of michigan but i'm not sure uh and uh then a local award each of them will receive the

01:45:17.560 coveted chairman mau statue uh for being the uh corona dictator of the uh well i was going to say

01:45:24.600 year but i think things could get worse uh so we'll uh do that tomorrow on blaze tv you don't want to

01:45:30.960 miss it boy if you've missed a second of today's show you have missed a lot please go and listen to

01:45:37.340 it uh either on blaze tv or you can get it wherever you get your podcast and download it you don't want to

01:45:42.160 miss a second uh we had harry dent with us for about an hour uh we had jim jordan on who talked

01:45:48.080 about what's happening in washington which is mind-boggling we had that great uh state rep from

01:45:54.660 uh detroit on with us in in a thing that made pat and i both cry uh her i mean it was just an amazing

01:46:03.400 beautiful beautiful beautiful segment with her um you just you have to hear we'll post that um and

01:46:11.020 there's some really spooky things going on uh with information we'll tell you about some more here

01:46:15.960 before we before we vacate our our chairs but i want to spend some time with jennifer knox she is the 0.79

01:46:23.500 owner and manager of a small bar in georgia it's called the sandbar and uh she's on with us now she

01:46:33.320 has allergies she made it very clear that she may cough during this interview and she wants

01:46:39.660 everybody to know she does not have coronavirus i think she she might be lying to us on that that 1.00

01:46:46.300 it's just allergies keep your distance jennifer keep your distance um how are you hi glenn thank you

01:46:55.800 for having me i'm good good i know you're really nervous you don't need to be nervous it's just you

01:47:01.960 and me and millions of others um you are the you're the owner and manager of the sandbar tell me about

01:47:09.960 your your uh uh your restaurant or bar so we uh if you're not familiar with tybee island it's a very

01:47:17.640 small island about three miles long um mostly just bars restaurants and small hotels uh no big chains or

01:47:24.840 anything like that and so um i started bartending at the sandbar about seven years before i bought the

01:47:31.320 bar six years ago and um we're just a really unique bar we're extremely small probably the smallest

01:47:37.360 bar on tybee but i like to say we've got the biggest heart um we have bar church there we've

01:47:42.520 got sign language classes so we do a lot of really neat extracurricular things other than serving

01:47:48.260 alcohol and food so it's pretty cool okay so uh you have bar church what is that because man

01:47:56.580 as the alcohol as an alcoholic in recovery i may decide to go the other way a bar church what is

01:48:03.520 that it's it's crazy awesome it's um uh come as you are uh we start around 10 we can't start serving

01:48:14.160 alcohol till 11 on sundays but it's a very non-denominational laid-back band pastor um it's

01:48:22.640 freaking awesome and it's definitely one of a kind when people hear that term they're like huh what huh

01:48:28.320 so yeah it's uh gosh i would i don't know if i'd be alive today if there were bar churches when i was

01:48:35.400 drinking but uh that sounds fantastic um so uh you obviously have been closed down and uh you've had

01:48:44.680 to you've had to try to you know make do and and make payments on things uh i read this story that

01:48:52.180 you were standing in the the bar and you're like how am i going to pay everybody and then it suddenly

01:48:58.160 dawned on you can you tell me the story well um as many good stories start out uh drinking with a few

01:49:07.180 good friends and coming up with some wild ideas um we locked our doors on i guess march 23rd

01:49:14.660 uh we had what i call our board members b-o-r-e-d um or my little group that i just sort of got

01:49:22.200 quarantined with but um we were we had no tv on no music we just were sitting there sort of in shock

01:49:29.220 you know like what in the heck is going on in this world right now and looked around and we're like

01:49:34.400 oh my god we have money on the walls we have time on our hands we've got like we just felt a sense

01:49:39.860 of urgency to get the dollars down and into the hands of the people that needed it now and so

01:49:45.160 these are people that morning they stapled money to your walls they've been doing that for how long

01:49:51.620 it's been a tradition i'd say 15 years it started before i bought the bar and we call them love notes

01:49:58.760 they're all over the walls all over the ceilings all over everything and people come back year after

01:50:04.580 year to see their dollars and i i have mixed feelings um it's hard to keep your walls and

01:50:11.260 ceilings clean with money all over it so but we've all been and you know right um it gives it character

01:50:18.240 but you know it's dirty so there's that right so you took down how many how many dollars how long did

01:50:26.360 it take you and how many dollars did you have so um the board numbers it was about five including me

01:50:34.100 five people it took us three and a half solid days around the clock to get these dollars down

01:50:41.000 um there's an iconic picture of my my friend gage up on a ladder he still found a way to cross his legs

01:50:47.440 which i thought was funny in his pink shorts but um they didn't they wouldn't take my money they just

01:50:52.820 wanted beer and pizza and they knew that they were doing this quote labor of love for the right

01:50:59.100 reasons and if it wasn't for them i mean my mom and i it would have taken us two years to get his

01:51:04.580 dollars down so uh it's huge shout out to the volunteers that did this um and we go ahead go

01:51:13.240 ahead no no go ahead i was gonna say we ended up getting uh three thousand seven hundred and fourteen

01:51:18.640 dollars off the wall so yeah wow and then and then other people donated so you had forty one hundred

01:51:26.180 dollars or around there and uh that allowed you to pay all of your employees and and keep everything

01:51:33.780 uh you know ready to be opened again when you open so at this point and time you know we were

01:51:42.540 thinking okay we're going to be closed for two weeks we've got to get this going i was able to give

01:51:47.560 six people six hundred dollars each and that included two of my weekly musicians that uh play

01:51:54.940 there and you know that was a game changer for all of these people they were crying we were crying i mean

01:52:02.920 it was a game changer for these people pay rent eat you know the basics and yeah yeah uh one of my

01:52:09.600 one of my bartenders actually said she was okay for a couple weeks and donated her section to another 0.99

01:52:16.780 bartender that works on the island um another crazy you know the story of love just keeps getting

01:52:23.260 better and better and um then we then i realized the need was just so much more than beyond my bar

01:52:29.560 you know i i want to help the whole island get through this and so then that's where we started

01:52:35.120 our venmo account uh which is now close to three thousand dollars so i was able to go back to katie

01:52:42.240 give her her section she cried again you know it's just um the more donations that come in the more

01:52:49.060 people i can help and these are all people that heavily rely on tips and you know that and um

01:52:55.200 everywhere in the country everywhere in the world is feeling this and um you know anyway that people

01:53:02.500 wanted to support her if people wanted to help you jennifer how would they do it

01:53:07.040 so we've started a venmo account and it's uh at jennifer dash knock dash 61 um and all of that

01:53:16.380 money is going to my people i'm uh i i did get my stimulus check and i am waiting to see about this

01:53:22.340 unemployment thing which is so weird because i've worked since i was 10 but um um i i i got to take

01:53:29.980 care of my people and this island is very much a community we are we are all in this together you

01:53:35.520 know hashtag tidy strong um we've been through hurricanes we've been through other crap but

01:53:40.280 obviously this is unlike anything any of us have been through and ever lived through

01:53:44.460 jennifer i hear you're a fan of the program i am i i i've got some of your books i i just remember

01:53:54.740 watching you on tv i i've followed you a long time i'm that's why thank you very much oh well you

01:53:59.680 shouldn't be nervous and i'd like to send something to you so um so thank you so much thank you oh my

01:54:05.360 god thank you so much um uh jennifer uh we wish you all the best of luck and uh this sunday or when

01:54:13.780 you open this back up have a drink for me will you oh i will glenn thank you so much thanks for my

01:54:20.380 god bless you and thank you thank you god bless jennifer knox uh you'll find her on facebook the sandbar

01:54:29.140 tybee that's t-y-b-e-e

01:54:32.380 all right i want to talk to you uh a little bit about uh grilling

01:54:40.380 pat have you ever have you ever smoked meat have you ever done any of that

01:54:46.260 it's so hard to uh put it into the wrappers that uh i have a right yeah um yeah i haven't i have

01:54:54.060 i've not done that very very texas thing quite yet okay i have not either because i'm not gonna you

01:55:00.900 know tend the logs and the fire and the coal and i mean there's a reason why i don't use charcoal

01:55:05.900 briquettes anymore yeah i'm far too lazy uh to do all that let alone yeah i'm gonna go get wood and

01:55:12.960 bring it in to smoke it uh rec tech grills is a set it and leave it alone it's an amazing grill

01:55:21.880 uh it it feeds in the little wood pellets that smoke everything you just put your meat there on the

01:55:29.760 grill you turn it on you can turn it on with your phone you can check it with your phone i mean it's

01:55:34.680 it's so high tech and so great uh and you you can set it uh and turn it on remotely and then you come

01:55:42.060 back five six hours later and it is perfect i mean perfect it's built by grillers for grillers this is

01:55:50.440 the best buy for your buck uh there is no grill better than this you're and the reason why i can

01:55:56.600 say that is because you know the best-selling grill in the home depot or wherever you buy your grill

01:56:01.780 you're not going to see a rec tech there because they put all of that money into building it and

01:56:08.060 they're not splitting the profit they're selling directly to you you will see this thing is built

01:56:13.260 like a tank rec tech grills with an s.com that's rec tech grills.com check it out you will not be

01:56:22.240 disappointed rec tech grills.com this is the glenbeck program

01:56:29.940 hello and welcome to wednesday's glenbeck program we're glad you're here uh next week

01:56:44.680 we are going to be doing something very special on this very radio program uh hit it sir

01:56:50.780 yes it is the first ever maui's uh the chairman mao award for the greatest corona dictator is coming

01:57:04.240 out it's a beautiful award we're trying to it is isn't it it's a nice it's about about a foot tall

01:57:11.180 of chairman mao a little platform uh have no idea what it says in chinese there at the bottom but uh

01:57:17.320 we're trying to get the grauman's chinese theater to let us hold it there but uh

01:57:21.780 no word on that yet uh but we'll be holding that uh the award ceremony next week you don't want to

01:57:29.820 miss it uh tomorrow on television we're going to be taking all of the nominations from you

01:57:35.400 and we're going to be uh giving you the the nominating categories and then we will start voting

01:57:41.540 uh over the weekend if you would like to nominate your local state or national leader for corona

01:57:50.160 dictator of the year uh please just uh hashtag corona dictators and make sure you tell us which

01:57:56.860 category you you can vote for all four all three you can nominate i should say for all three state

01:58:02.600 local and uh and national dictator corona dictators make sure you do that uh right now hashtag corona

01:58:10.260 dictators just uh tweet it to us okay um there is a really and i i know i've talked about this a couple

01:58:18.540 of times today but i don't think i have seen anything more disturbing uh than this uh and it is what has

01:58:26.140 come out now from the media they are actually taking the side of who and i think because of donald trump

01:58:36.720 uh facebook announced today that it will begin alerting users if you have interacted with harmful

01:58:43.860 misinformation about the coronavirus part of a series of new aggressive steps to combat what health

01:58:49.780 authorities have described as a global infodemic the message which appears in users news feeds will

01:58:56.620 direct people listen to this will direct people to official credible information from the world health

01:59:04.440 organization that is the least credible and facebook and the media have decided to pick the world

01:59:16.500 health organization as their credible source so i can guarantee you you and i are going to lose touch

01:59:24.900 on facebook because we will be penalized as a fake news site because we don't agree with the world

01:59:33.080 health organization um it is more important than ever that you become a blaze subscriber please please let's not

01:59:43.160 lose touch with one another we built this so we could have one-on-one communication and we wouldn't lose

01:59:49.140 touch because of some algorithm or some protest or anything else this is this is insane remember when you

01:59:57.640 staunchly defended facebook and mark zuckerberg like to have the shut up to have that back

02:00:02.720 he turned out to be i mean this is unbelievable the the steps he has taken lately in the last six months

02:00:11.240 or so have been amazing i'm i i tend to be a not a good judge of character because i see the best in

02:00:17.920 people uh and i see what they want to be or could be and i don't see necessarily what they've allowed

02:00:22.940 themselves to become um look facebook is is not all bad they've been working with us on uh something

02:00:31.420 they they usa today deemed us an unreliable source because we said that uh this was coming from a lab

02:00:41.320 in wuhan two weeks ago if you listen to this program you know that i have been telling you from

02:00:46.140 the beginning it did not come from a lab it was not a bio weapon nobody released this however we

02:00:52.740 have information including videotape from the chinese government itself in december showing them

02:00:59.760 collecting the specimens of horseshoe bats and it went back to that wuhan lab not the bio lab but

02:01:08.540 another lab that works in conjunction with the bio lab um and we have been called a fake news site

02:01:16.900 for that uh i challenge usa today to show me what's fake about it show it to me correct me i will gladly

02:01:26.280 retract anything that we got wrong but you are wrong usa today and anyone who is taking their word of the 0.75

02:01:34.540 who is a fool an absolute fool anyone who says taiwan's not a country it doesn't exist has no place 0.93

02:01:45.040 in the world of accurate information 0.99

02:01:47.980 you
