00:00:00.000 The next candidate in my series has cemented their reputation for fighting for America first policies on the world stage.
00:00:07.940 They're considered hard line on foreign policy, especially as it relates to what they refer to as the new axis of evil.
00:00:15.760 China, Russia, Iran.
00:00:18.360 Their solutions on how to deal with Russia's invasion of Ukraine has garnered accusations of warmongering and neocon labels.
00:00:27.640 I'm going to give them an opportunity to respond to this.
00:00:31.000 In February, they announced their candidacy to the surprise of very few.
00:00:36.180 As governor of South Carolina, their policies and demeanor drew praise from both sides and eventually earned them a position as the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations under President Trump.
00:00:49.060 This is the second presidential candidate I've interviewed in this series.
00:00:53.320 My job is not to help or hurt any candidate.
00:00:56.440 There is no agenda except to ask fair, vital questions that you would ask.
00:01:03.600 Our guest on the Glenn Beck podcast, Nikki Haley.
00:01:07.680 You work hard for the money that you earn.
00:01:11.040 And if you're like me, when you have to spend that money, you prefer to spend it on the things that are made right here in America.
00:01:16.780 It's not only the patriotic thing to do, which is losing popularity now.
00:01:20.700 It's a quality thing.
00:01:21.980 And traditionally, the things that have been made here in America last longer, work better, and set the standard for the rest of the world.
00:01:30.120 That's one of the reasons I love partnering with companies like Grip6.
00:01:34.120 With Grip6, you're getting the true American experience products that you can count on.
00:01:39.980 When you buy their socks, for instance, you're supporting American ranchers who specially raise these sheep that are bred to produce modern wool.
00:01:49.040 The American manufacturer that washes the wool, processes it, and then weaves it into socks that keep your feet warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
00:01:58.220 The American business owner.
00:01:59.500 This is the other reason I love these guys.
00:02:03.220 These are the people that are taking the risk.
00:02:05.800 And it's a high risk that comes along with using America-only made products with American labor.
00:02:13.400 These guys are changing the course of America.
00:02:16.900 I love them, and I think you will, too.
00:02:18.820 Put your trust in hard-earned money in a company that does it right, right here in America.
00:02:23.560 Go to Grip6.com slash Beck.
00:02:25.860 That's Grip6.com slash Beck.
00:02:29.500 Hi, Nikki.
00:02:41.200 How are you?
00:02:41.940 Good.
00:02:42.240 How are you?
00:02:42.780 Good.
00:02:43.080 Good to have you here.
00:02:43.840 Thanks.
00:02:44.160 It's always great to be here.
00:02:45.080 So let me just start with some of the news of today.
00:02:48.800 I mean, it's just not going to happen.
00:03:04.480 I mean, it's just not going to happen.
00:03:06.760 You're not going to win in court.
00:03:08.640 What's this about?
00:03:09.560 Even Democrats know this is a political agenda.
00:03:12.960 I mean, I think that this is, it's kind of like par for the course.
00:03:16.740 I mean, New York would be better off if they prosecuted violent crimes than to sit there
00:03:20.380 and prosecute things like this.
00:03:21.900 So, I mean, we don't know what's going to happen.
00:03:24.080 It's still kind of up in the air, but I hope nothing happens.
00:03:28.120 Are we banana republic if we start doing this?
00:03:30.580 It's just revenge, right?
00:03:32.100 It's political revenge, and they're never going to let it go when it comes to him, ever.
00:03:37.460 Why?
00:03:38.200 I just, you know, I watched this when I was in the administration.
00:03:42.900 I've seen it afterwards.
00:03:45.120 It's just when you've got such a hate and such a, I don't know, political, just agenda against
00:03:56.940 him, they'll never stop.
00:03:59.020 On one side, they need him for ratings.
00:04:01.280 On the other side, they don't want him.
00:04:04.580 So, it's kind of schizophrenic.
00:04:06.740 But either way, they're never going to let him go.
00:04:09.460 It's a lot of the reason why I think the country's got to move forward is because this is just
00:04:13.420 a vicious cycle.
00:04:15.160 And, you know, it's a shame.
00:04:16.840 And if it happens, you know, I hope that, you know, at least the Dems step up and say,
00:04:20.980 look, this is crazy that, you know, you're sitting there treating this like a felony.
00:04:25.420 But it's a total political agenda.
00:04:27.680 It's literally revenge politics.
00:04:30.360 And I think it's a shame.
00:04:32.260 I know Mike Lee said to me when everybody was saying, lock Hillary up, which I was for,
00:04:38.540 if you've done the crime, you should do the time.
00:04:41.900 And Mike said, be really careful.
00:04:45.320 And I said, what do you mean?
00:04:46.480 And he said, if if there is a crime and it's clear, political world will say, oh, we're
00:04:54.260 playing that game.
00:04:55.260 And he said, you'll just start putting people in jail.
00:04:58.540 And he said, once you do that, he says, why Nixon didn't go to jail.
00:05:04.280 He said, once you do that, you're a banana republic.
00:05:07.780 There's no turning back.
00:05:08.780 No turning back.
00:05:09.380 I mean, once that precedent's been set, there's no turning back.
00:05:13.640 And, you know, on one side, Glenn, I've said this to you before.
00:05:16.600 Republicans are too nice.
00:05:18.560 They're too nice.
00:05:20.080 They just kind of let things happen and they let this creep happen.
00:05:23.620 But see, I don't think that's I don't know if that's entirely true, because I'm tired
00:05:29.120 of the one of my questions is.
00:05:32.140 What is the Republican Party?
00:05:33.980 What is the GOP?
00:05:35.560 Well, I too nice.
00:05:38.300 I don't think they're protecting and defending the Constitution of the United States.
00:05:42.560 I think we're being too nice to the GOP.
00:05:45.480 I mean, I think one, they're not they're not tough enough on protecting our freedoms.
00:05:51.260 They've lost all fiscal responsibility when it comes to the situation that we're in right
00:05:56.900 now.
00:05:57.280 They're getting weak in the knees when it comes to our enemies.
00:06:00.800 And look, I mean, I think we have to remember what is the number one rule of government to
00:06:06.160 secure the rights and freedoms of the people.
00:06:08.360 It was never meant to be all things to all people.
00:06:10.760 And look at the situation we're in.
00:06:12.880 You know, everybody wants to blame Biden for the thirty one trillion dollars of debt that
00:06:17.680 we're in.
00:06:18.180 There are no saints in Congress.
00:06:21.840 Republicans did that to us first.
00:06:23.760 Yeah.
00:06:23.940 Let's not forget that two point two trillion dollar covid stimulus.
00:06:29.180 That it was voted four hundred nineteen to six in the House, ninety six to zero in the Senate,
00:06:34.960 no accountability whatsoever, expanded welfare.
00:06:38.580 We now have 90 million people on Medicaid, 42 million people on food stamps.
00:06:44.520 And so the answer to that is after you've flushed all this money and caused inflation and the
00:06:49.820 feds are are going crazy.
00:06:51.880 What's the answer to that?
00:06:53.100 Republicans open back up earmarks for the first time in 10 years.
00:06:56.860 Seven thousand earmarks were proposed and proposed in December.
00:07:01.020 So that's that's not fiscal responsibility.
00:07:03.800 That's fiscal insanity.
00:07:05.480 You were there for the Tea Party.
00:07:07.400 Yes.
00:07:08.340 These are the same things we've been saying for a very long time.
00:07:11.340 That's exactly right.
00:07:12.040 And the machine just keeps on rolling.
00:07:14.880 We started something great during the Tea Party.
00:07:18.060 You know, we we brought attention to it, but we didn't finish it.
00:07:21.560 You know, you when you go and you see this, I think, you know, you had Republicans say, oh,
00:07:26.400 we better straighten out.
00:07:27.480 And they felt the political wave.
00:07:29.300 But it was temporary.
00:07:31.560 You didn't as governor in South Carolina.
00:07:33.700 I kept calling out earmarks.
00:07:35.300 I kept talking about paying down debt.
00:07:37.480 I kept doing those things.
00:07:39.000 But D.C. never did.
00:07:40.400 No.
00:07:40.800 And that was the bear we were fighting in the very beginning was D.C.
00:07:44.180 I mean, there were at least two federal bailouts that I declined as governor.
00:07:50.060 I didn't want them in my state because when you take that federal money, you get all those
00:07:53.540 strings that are attached.
00:07:54.440 And I didn't want to do that to the people of South Carolina.
00:07:57.140 And we have to remember, we've allowed the federal government to become so big that now
00:08:04.800 it's wanting to control everything we have.
00:08:07.620 It's not just about the fiscal irresponsibility, but it's the mission creep into socialism.
00:08:13.620 This socialist track that we're watching happen.
00:08:16.340 I mean, that is not what Republicans are supposed to be thinking about.
00:08:21.940 And you've got Republicans now wanting to do this socialism light.
00:08:25.920 That's incredibly dangerous because when you go into socialism light, then they're just
00:08:30.460 going to say, well, why don't we just do the full socialism?
00:08:32.440 Right.
00:08:32.980 We're already we're already socialist light.
00:08:35.560 I don't think we're a free market.
00:08:37.920 And I don't think we have been for a while now, at least a couple of years with the latest
00:08:43.220 bailouts of the banks.
00:08:44.500 Who's making that decision?
00:08:47.020 There is no law.
00:08:48.680 There is no rule.
00:08:50.380 It's well, if we decide we'll do it.
00:08:52.580 Well, who the hell are you?
00:08:54.480 And shouldn't Congress have to weigh in on?
00:08:56.340 Yes, because that's the bigger concern.
00:08:58.780 So you look at this situation.
00:09:00.940 You have this flush of cash that Republicans and Democrats did.
00:09:04.380 You have the feds who were just late to the game because they were saying it was transitory.
00:09:09.320 Then they go and they start running up rates.
00:09:11.040 You've got this bank that buys short and invests long.
00:09:16.340 And the whole time this was transparent.
00:09:19.380 The feds saw that they didn't have enough cash to be able to hold their commitments.
00:09:24.740 And the San Francisco fed was in charge of this, right?
00:09:29.860 But they did nothing.
00:09:31.520 And then it turns out that the SVB CEO sat on the San Francisco fed.
00:09:38.540 Makes no sense.
00:09:39.560 That's what everybody should be talking about.
00:09:41.460 Instead, Janet Yellen's trying to make everybody whole.
00:09:44.820 And now she's going and saying that small banks, all depositors of small banks will be made whole.
00:09:51.820 You don't reward bad behavior.
00:09:55.020 When things go wrong, you let them fall.
00:09:57.760 And we hate it for the depositors.
00:10:00.120 But first of all, can we at least say that a lot of those depositors with a lot of money were Chinese companies?
00:10:07.080 And you're really going to do that?
00:10:08.780 You're really going to go and make those Chinese depositors whole?
00:10:12.120 I didn't know that.
00:10:13.260 Yes.
00:10:14.560 And you've got these high-tech investors.
00:10:17.160 These were not normal loans.
00:10:18.820 These were not loans they could get at any other bank.
00:10:22.100 Why are we letting that happen?
00:10:24.600 Where is everyone?
00:10:26.580 Where is everyone?
00:10:27.920 Well, you know, when it comes to where is everyone,
00:10:31.260 I think the left has done a very good job of scaring the hell out of your average Republican.
00:10:38.500 You know, Donald Trump asked for people to march in the street.
00:10:42.120 My first response was, don't do it.
00:10:45.600 Don't do it.
00:10:46.640 And it's not because they don't support him or you don't feel you should.
00:10:51.020 I don't trust the federal government.
00:10:53.680 I don't trust that there's not crazies in the crowd that are on the right.
00:10:58.080 I don't trust that there's not crazies in the crowd that are from the left posing as the right.
00:11:03.740 You can't protest right now or this government will make the process the punishment.
00:11:12.340 And protesting is an American tradition.
00:11:14.140 Yes, it is.
00:11:14.920 It's an American tradition.
00:11:16.260 And it's but now in this time, and it's why we have to get our country to snap out of it.
00:11:23.000 We need to go back to the basics.
00:11:26.100 We need to really look back and, you know, think about when we were growing up and life was simple.
00:11:32.100 And you focused on your faith, you focused on your community, you focused on your family and your country, and life wasn't complicated.
00:11:41.460 Then all of a sudden, it just all of these things started to take over and they just wanted government to fix it all.
00:11:49.760 And that's where things messed up is when they decided the federal government knew more than the states did.
00:11:55.060 And then all of a sudden, it was, well, we can tell you better than you can tell yourself.
00:12:00.200 We just need to go back to what our individual freedoms were.
00:12:03.200 We need to go back to economic freedom, remembering that capitalism lifted up more people than anyone in history, remembering that our freedoms were something we prized and held dear.
00:12:14.880 The problem is we have, well, let's stay on economics here for just a second, then we can go into corruption.
00:12:21.120 The banking is, I mean, I wouldn't put you in this situation, but I'm going to say it.
00:12:30.160 I don't think we make it to 2025.
00:12:32.340 I really don't.
00:12:33.220 The banking situation.
00:12:35.120 And if it collapses in a global sort of way, the West is down.
00:12:42.760 Then what happens?
00:12:43.980 We bail out.
00:12:44.820 We print even more money.
00:12:47.260 Inflation, supply chain.
00:12:49.860 You got a mess.
00:12:51.120 And the Fed is introducing FedNow, which is a quick way.
00:12:56.960 And you can make all your payments online with the Fed.
00:13:01.020 The next thing is the Fed coin to reset the currency.
00:13:05.840 I don't know how people don't see that, but that can't happen.
00:13:10.600 That can't happen.
00:13:11.720 And then they're going to want to watch what you spend and how you spend.
00:13:14.780 Not just watch.
00:13:16.200 It's programmable so they can control what you spend, where you spend, and what you buy.
00:13:22.860 They're already trying to do that.
00:13:24.000 I mean, we see they're now going after credit card charges when you buy guns.
00:13:28.800 And so, I mean, look, I refuse to say this is going down.
00:13:35.240 I will say we have hit rock bottom.
00:13:38.540 And the only place for survival is to go up.
00:13:41.900 I don't know if America has hit rock bottom.
00:13:44.680 And I don't mean.
00:13:46.000 This is bad.
00:13:46.580 I know.
00:13:47.900 I came from an alcoholic family.
00:13:50.380 My mother committed suicide.
00:13:52.300 Her rock bottom was death.
00:13:55.780 I'm an alcoholic.
00:13:57.340 My rock bottom was not so bad.
00:14:00.220 Okay?
00:14:01.100 I'm not sure that America has hit its rock bottom.
00:14:04.840 Because at its rock bottom, you go, okay, whatever I'm doing, I got to do something else.
00:14:11.020 Because this isn't working.
00:14:12.500 But, Glenn, is rock bottom not being $31 trillion in debt, knowing that literally your debt is bigger than your economy?
00:14:21.060 Yeah.
00:14:21.260 Is rock bottom not the fact that our kids no longer are learning the basics in school, but you're allowing boys to be in girls' locker rooms?
00:14:29.000 And you're allowing 90% of our kids to be on a critical race theory?
00:14:33.460 Is rock bottom the fact that we're getting dirty oil from Venezuela and going hat in hand to Saudi Arabia?
00:14:39.520 Is rock bottom not that criminals are running free on the streets because prosecutors won't prosecute them?
00:14:45.140 And you've got an open border where last month alone there were 16 terrorists that we happened to catch?
00:14:50.960 I mean, rock bottom is the fact that Americans looked to the sky and saw a Chinese spy balloon?
00:14:55.960 I would like to think this is rock bottom.
00:14:57.920 I would like to think.
00:14:58.220 But what I will tell you is every American has a decision to make.
00:15:01.940 We don't have to live like this right now.
00:15:04.500 Our kids don't deserve to live like this right now.
00:15:07.280 I'm doing this for my kids.
00:15:08.740 I'm doing this for everyone's kids.
00:15:11.600 America's too great not to save.
00:15:14.420 But it does require saying some hard truths.
00:15:18.940 Saying hard truths to Republicans on what their role was in.
00:15:22.180 Saying hard truths to the feds that know this was never transitory.
00:15:25.940 And when you flush cash, the feds should have said you can't do this because inflation is going to go up.
00:15:30.920 Say hard truths on where we need to go as a country.
00:15:33.780 So how do you, I mean, I was going to say, look what the fed did to Ronald Reagan when he said, we're going this way.
00:15:42.520 They made it very clear.
00:15:44.240 Oh, no, Mr. President.
00:15:46.020 But I don't have to go there.
00:15:49.200 Look what they did to Donald Trump.
00:15:51.480 How do you go to Washington with a pack of Republicans that like Mitch McConnell that are like, yeah.
00:15:59.420 And and and say, I demand discipline on the federal budget.
00:16:07.780 I I'm going to clean up the Justice Department.
00:16:11.980 How you you cannot do that by yourself.
00:16:17.040 Watch me.
00:16:18.100 And the reason I say that is because when I went into South Carolina.
00:16:23.040 And I went in completely ready to clean things up.
00:16:27.740 It was a double digit unemployment state.
00:16:30.640 The first thing I did is we went into every single agency.
00:16:33.940 I put people at the heads of agency that knew their number one job was to clean house.
00:16:38.360 You clean out all the people that are weighing us down, that are causing regulations, that are causing red tape.
00:16:45.080 And I gave them three issues that they had to deal with, that they had to report to me every 60 to 90 days on where they were.
00:16:51.400 And every one of them was moving the ball in the direction of their consumer, which was the taxpayer.
00:16:57.120 And we called out Republicans.
00:16:59.520 I called out Republicans that we had a Republican House and a Republican Senate.
00:17:03.120 We called them out on earmarks.
00:17:04.880 We called them out on spending.
00:17:06.300 We called them out on what they were doing.
00:17:08.720 And yes, I came out with a report card that listed every single person and what they were voting for and what they were against.
00:17:15.900 And I gave it to all of the taxpayers in South Carolina because I wanted them to see it didn't matter about party to me.
00:17:21.720 It mattered about whether they were working for the taxpayer or not.
00:17:25.400 And what I got was an army of citizens that knew whenever the legislature was doing something, I let them know.
00:17:32.500 And they were the ones that solved the problem, not me, but they joined me and made sure that we called them out.
00:17:37.840 It can be done.
00:17:38.800 It's going to take work, but we need to at least try and do this.
00:17:43.020 Don't you already have enough to worry about with adding something crazy like all of a sudden losing your house one day?
00:17:48.780 You know, you pay your taxes, you keep your clothes on in public, you're an upstanding citizen.
00:17:55.240 Can I really can somebody watch some stuff for me, please?
00:17:59.000 But you could be vulnerable to America's fastest growing cyber crimes.
00:18:04.380 It is called home title theft and cyber thieves can literally take your home title, take ownership of your house.
00:18:11.140 This is one of the people that used to do this.
00:18:13.060 Nobody thinks that I can take their house and borrow against the house.
00:18:16.460 Oh, no, I have title insurance for that.
00:18:18.600 No, it's in my name or he would have to get some special document.
00:18:22.220 They would call me, you know, what he's calling you?
00:18:25.380 After I've stolen the title, borrowed against it or sold the property or done whatever I've done with it,
00:18:30.120 it's 60 to 90 days even figure out that they're the victim of this crime.
00:18:33.840 You know, by that point, you start getting foreclosure notices and you realize you've got four mortgages on your house.
00:18:39.580 Not only that, you don't even own your home anymore.
00:18:41.540 It's not even in your name.

00:18:59.500 So are we at the point?
00:19:02.440 I mean, are there any federal agencies that you would just shut down?
00:19:05.920 I think the first thing is go back and look at it.
00:19:08.780 Remember, government breaks more than it fixes.
00:19:11.380 Right.
00:19:11.860 So we should have as much happening at the state level as possible.
00:19:16.800 Like the Department of Education.
00:19:19.480 I mean, it's hard to find any good in that.
00:19:22.400 I want every governor to be able to control the education that's happening in their state.
00:19:27.360 So do you shut it down?
00:19:29.040 I think we go and we look at all the agencies and say, are they effective anymore?
00:19:32.780 Some are going to be.
00:19:33.960 I remember there was one health and environmental control agency that I had in South Carolina.
00:19:38.220 I mean, we pretty much gutted it and started over.
00:19:43.020 If you have to do that, you do that.
00:19:44.780 But you don't just keep something just because.
00:19:47.500 And you don't keep allowing it.
00:19:48.560 The intelligence agencies, no one trusts them right now.
00:19:52.040 No one.
00:19:52.600 I mean, and look at the things that have happened under their watch.
00:19:55.780 They didn't tell us about 9-11.
00:19:57.820 They didn't tell us about, you know, where were they on the Chinese spy balloon?
00:20:02.100 Where were they on Afghanistan?
00:20:06.000 Like, so you do have to go back and like really go to the core of this and say, what's happening there?
00:20:11.580 Go into the IRS and see what they're doing.
00:20:14.260 Look at all that.
00:20:15.180 We have to go back and say, there's a reason things happen better at the states.
00:20:19.540 I say that one is a former governor, but it's because it's as close to the people as it gets.
00:20:24.260 And let the people, when it comes to health care, that should be done more at the state level.
00:20:29.300 The issues we have in South Carolina are very different than the issues they have in California.
00:20:33.400 Don't treat the two the same.
00:20:35.280 So what you do is you move more to states' rights.
00:20:37.580 That's how you deal with it.
00:20:38.600 Not just get rid of an agency because that's not going to happen.
00:20:41.860 Congress isn't going to let that happen.
00:20:43.760 But you go into the agency and you say, how much are we going to move out?
00:20:47.480 And it's like cleaning out your home.
00:20:49.080 You declutter.
00:20:50.260 And that's what I think we need to do in agencies.
00:20:51.640 Well, the argument has been that the Congress has to pass a law so you can fire.
00:20:56.900 And the question is, I'm sorry, is the administrator, you, the President of the United States, are those your employees?
00:21:08.520 Or do those employees belong to the Congress?
00:21:11.160 Because if they belong to Congress, then they should be pushed over to Congress.
00:21:16.100 If they're administration, then those people work for you and you should be able to fire them.
00:21:22.040 And I don't mind if people want to work in government, but they shouldn't stay in the same position longer than five years.
00:21:28.980 I'll tell you a story.
00:21:29.860 When I was at the U.N., my first week or two weeks, someone got on the phone with all the NGOs basically saying what my plan was going to be.
00:21:41.100 It wasn't anything I had ever said, done anything.
00:21:44.340 And I said, who is this person that is out there talking for me?
00:21:48.520 And they came back and they said, it's John Kerry's sister.
00:21:51.400 I said, John Kerry's sister works at the U.S. Mission of the United Nations.
00:21:54.760 And they said, yes.
00:21:55.680 I said, get her out of here.
00:21:56.920 They said, you can't.
00:21:57.940 She retires in X number of months.
00:22:00.640 I said, then you send her home.
00:22:02.320 I don't care if we pay her to sit at home.
00:22:04.080 She is not to come back in this building.
00:22:05.720 And she didn't because she was doing more harm than good.
00:22:08.780 And I know that when I went and wanted to give my first speech at the U.N., it was actually going against Russia for what their invasion was in Ukraine.
00:22:16.640 And the State Department contacted me and said, you can't say the speech because I sent it to them before.
00:22:22.020 And I said, why not?
00:22:23.180 I said, if there's anything that's not factual, tell me.
00:22:26.040 I will change it.
00:22:26.900 They said, no, but you can't say the speech like this.
00:22:29.600 You can't go in with that tone.
00:22:30.960 I said, look, you can change my you can say that my facts are right or wrong.
00:22:35.700 You can't tell me how to say a speech or what to say.
00:22:38.780 And I went ahead and did it anyway.
00:22:40.800 You've got these little fiefdoms in government where they want to control and they love to just live out all the other elected officials and they just stay.
00:22:50.660 And that's where the power is.
00:22:52.100 It happens in state governments and it happens in federal government.
00:22:56.140 And the other place you really need to look is in those congressional committees where they come up with the legislation, where they go and they push their senators or house members to to do things.
00:23:05.660 A lot of them are liberal Democrats or power hungry staffers that are trying to control what happens.
00:23:12.380 I don't think anybody writes those bills that that actually work in the Capitol.
00:23:17.220 I think those bills are written by the special interest groups.
00:23:20.360 And you're you're probably right on most of those.
00:23:23.640 Let me let me let me since we were on the UN, you know, the world situation.
00:23:31.420 I don't think China is bluffing with us.
00:23:36.940 I don't think China is going to be.
00:23:39.760 I don't know if you remember, but I got a lot of heat back in, you know, 2008, 2010 for saying there's going to come a time when the Islamists, the socialists, the the anarchists.
00:23:53.420 The anarchists, they're all going to they're all going to dogpile on us.
00:23:57.920 They'll work together to destroy us in the Western world.
00:24:01.660 And I made it very clear.
00:24:03.300 I don't mean they're calling each other.
00:24:05.100 They're all going to see the opportunity and go, my gosh, they're so weak.
00:24:09.240 Go.
00:24:10.560 I think we're there.
00:24:12.020 I was listening to you on the radio back then and had just finished your book Common Sense when that happened.
00:24:17.000 What is happening now is dictators wait for weakness.
00:24:23.200 They wait for weakness.
00:24:24.440 The problem with China is they were very patient in waiting for the weakness and they pulled it a little bit at a time and we gave it to them on a silver platter.
00:24:34.360 And you had Republican and Democrat presidents thought for the longest time, if we were nice to China, they would want to be like us.
00:24:40.780 That's narcissistic.
00:24:42.600 China has always wanted to be communist China.
00:24:45.120 And so now you've got a situation where, I mean, look at their military.
00:24:49.920 They built up their naval fleet.
00:24:51.480 They have the largest naval fleet in the world.
00:24:54.440 They have more air defense systems than we do.
00:24:56.400 They're modernizing.
00:24:57.260 They just came out with the fifth generation fighter jet.
00:25:00.740 Guess which technology?
00:25:01.920 Using our technology that they stole.
00:25:04.720 We're not doing anything.
00:25:06.120 You see them going.
00:25:07.000 They just negotiated this deal between Saudi Arabia and Iran.
00:25:10.440 That's crazy.
00:25:11.500 It is.
00:25:11.920 We have to come back.
00:25:12.560 Not only is it crazy.
00:25:13.780 They just created themselves as a superpower.
00:25:17.660 Correct.
00:25:18.200 And the U.S. was nowhere to be found or even considered in that process.
00:25:22.460 Very, very important.
00:25:23.820 And no one should underestimate what just happened there.
00:25:26.560 Then you go and you look at the fact they're now standing holding hands with Russia.
00:25:30.560 When President Xi said that Russia was their unlimited partner.
00:25:36.580 The one thing I learned at the U.N., pay attention to their words because they actually tell you exactly what they're doing.
00:25:43.880 And to see what they're doing now, the axis of evil is China and Russia and their junior partner is Iran.
00:25:51.100 And America is asleep at the wheel.
00:25:54.040 Because why?
00:25:55.380 Well, we allowed them to buy 385,000 acres of U.S. soil.
00:25:59.960 And it just happened to be near Grand Forks Air Force Base where our most sensitive drone technology is.
00:26:05.760 We allowed that Chinese spy balloon.
00:26:07.980 Do you think if the U.S. had put a balloon over China that they would have just watched it?
00:26:12.240 No.
00:26:12.360 It didn't go over South Carolina because they love our beaches.
00:26:15.360 It was because our military installations were there.
00:26:17.400 I am so sick and tired of hearing people say that they couldn't control that.
00:26:21.900 Wrong.
00:26:23.060 That went specifically over our most sensitive missile sites and strategic air command.
00:26:30.320 That just happened to?
00:26:32.100 South Carolina is a military state.
00:26:34.400 Oh, and it just went over that?
00:26:36.340 They know what they're doing.
00:26:37.660 The problem is why are we being so naive about all of this?
00:26:41.040 Are we being naive?
00:26:42.820 Are we being stupid?
00:26:44.340 Are we not paying attention?
00:26:45.800 I mean, our administration.
00:26:47.600 Or does our administration have a different plan?
00:26:50.600 And in the case of China, are they on the payroll of China?
00:26:55.080 And I think all of those could be true.
00:26:57.900 And all I know is see a threat for what it is.
00:27:03.540 And don't be distracted.
00:27:05.180 And America looks so distracted right now.
00:27:08.120 And when America's distracted, the world is less safe.
00:27:10.360 We're watching it happen.
00:27:11.760 Hong Kong fell because we were distracted with COVID.
00:27:15.140 And President Xi said he was going to take it.
00:27:17.780 Dictators tell you what they're going to do.
00:27:20.040 He said he was going to take Hong Kong.
00:27:22.480 Putin said he was going to take Ukraine.
00:27:24.720 Xi said Taiwan was next.
00:27:26.760 Putin said Poland and the Baltics are next.
00:27:28.740 And then you're looking at a world war.
00:27:30.200 Don't underestimate what dictators tell you.
00:27:33.400 And watch what they say and watch what they do.
00:27:35.940 What did President Xi say in his speech?
00:27:38.280 Anybody who owns the data rules the world.
00:27:42.380 Why do you think he's so surveillance focused?
00:27:44.820 Why do you think that they're dealing with that?
00:27:47.480 America needs to realize this isn't air, land, and sea anymore.
00:27:52.340 This is air, land, sea, artificial intelligence, cyber.
00:27:56.480 We need to change with the times.
00:27:58.580 We've got to understand we're dealing with a different type of enemy.
00:28:01.780 And that different type of enemy is very focused.
00:28:05.920 And the United States needs to be just as focused.
00:28:08.240 Because when we lead and when they know we're on to them, that's when enemies retreat.
00:28:13.920 But when we just allow it to happen, they're going to run as fast as they can to get as much as they can.
00:28:19.980 So a couple things come to mind.
00:28:23.020 A, I'm not, and I think a lot of conservatives are no longer into this nation-building stuff.
00:28:34.060 Let's go everywhere.
00:28:35.120 Let's fight everybody's war.
00:28:36.480 Not into it.
00:28:38.260 It has led to all of the worst things in the 20th century.
00:28:43.200 World War I, I could make a case that the United States and Woodrow Wilson and the League of Nations led us into World War II.
00:28:51.940 The way we negotiated and treated Germany.
00:28:57.240 But that said, I just know we don't have the money anymore.
00:29:05.880 We don't have the swagger anymore.
00:29:10.680 No nation on earth is afraid of us right now.
00:29:14.320 Not because of our military, but because our president is incompetent.
00:29:19.040 Our Pentagon is incompetent.
00:29:22.860 We're over in Ukraine.
00:29:25.140 We're sending them billions of dollars.
00:29:28.840 We're not watching where it's going.
00:29:30.860 You and I both know that is one of the most, if not the most corrupt country in the world.
00:29:36.480 I'll bet you 30 cents on the dollar is actually making it someplace that is helpful to them.
00:29:44.000 We are putting ourselves in the position of Brezhnev going to Vietnam and standing in Vietnam and saying, you know what?
00:29:57.440 Decapitation of the presidency.
00:30:00.160 That's all.
00:30:01.140 We're behind you 100 percent, Vietnam.
00:30:03.600 Well, gee, I think America would have reacted to that and said, this isn't about Vietnam.
00:30:12.360 This is you and me.
00:30:14.080 Well, that's what Putin is saying to us.
00:30:16.260 And we are completely incompetent.
00:30:19.860 And you don't have the American people behind this.
00:30:23.720 So let me tell you, this is the way I see it and having dealt with them.
00:30:27.620 Do you agree with what I said?
00:30:29.080 I disagree on a certain avenue that you're going.
00:30:33.660 First, because I'm assuming you're saying we should not be in Ukraine, that we should not be helping Ukraine.
00:30:38.600 That's what I'm taking.
00:30:40.220 I don't mind helping.
00:30:42.260 We aren't helping.
00:30:44.380 We are fighting it.
00:30:45.920 We are giving we're giving everything we have.
00:30:49.940 We are hurting our own security for it.
00:30:54.100 We don't have a plan except, oh, here are the coordinates you should send those missiles to.
00:31:00.080 We are clearly not a proxy war.
00:31:03.700 We are clearly sending the message to Russia.
00:31:07.700 It's you.
00:31:08.840 It's either you or me.
00:31:10.700 So that's insane.
00:31:11.800 Let me tell you where I think we are and where we should be.
00:31:14.460 OK, because I do agree with you on some parts of it.
00:31:17.900 So this war between Russia and Ukraine is not about Ukraine.
00:31:22.640 It's about freedom.
00:31:23.840 And it's one that we have to win.
00:31:25.780 Having said that, I disagree with Biden on.
00:31:28.260 I disagree with Biden on sending money.
00:31:30.900 You should never send money to a country, period.
00:31:33.240 I don't agree in sending money because you can't watch it once it gets there.
00:31:36.520 I don't ever want to send troops there.
00:31:38.180 My husband's in the military.
00:31:39.360 I don't want to send American troops on the ground there.
00:31:41.720 But I do think we need to work with our allies and make sure they have the equipment and the ammunition to win.
00:31:47.420 And this is why.
00:31:50.040 When you look at what the Ukrainians are doing, they're trying to save their country.
00:31:55.080 And here these men went and they went to the front lines.
00:32:00.000 People gave them five days.
00:32:01.620 They were so passionate about their freedom.
00:32:04.100 Their wives made Molotov cocktails.
00:32:05.820 And where they lost 27% of their country, now they're down to 15% of their country.
00:32:11.420 The reason this matters, there is nothing President Xi would love more than to see Russia win this.
00:32:18.320 Because they would know that Taiwan could be next.
00:32:21.000 What we need to do is make sure if Ukraine wins, this sends a message to China with Taiwan.
00:32:27.380 It sends a message to Iran with the bomb.
00:32:29.120 It sends a message to North Korea.
00:32:31.760 If Ukraine loses, believe dictators when they tell you, Russia has said Poland and the Baltics are next.
00:32:39.760 And then you're looking at a world war.
00:32:41.300 We don't want that war.
00:32:43.040 Okay.
00:32:43.260 But then China goes forward.
00:32:46.320 The key in this is understand how badly Xi wants this with Putin.
00:32:53.560 He's holding hands with him.
00:32:54.860 He said he's unlimited partners.
00:32:56.200 There is a reason that Russia shot down that drone.
00:32:59.520 You've got to look at it from that axis of evil.
00:33:02.260 I do.
00:33:02.740 And what got us in this situation with China is everybody saying, leave China alone.
00:33:07.920 Focus on what we're doing.
00:33:09.160 Don't pay attention to China.
00:33:10.460 And all of a sudden, we're dealing with a mess.
00:33:13.060 We can't afford it.
00:33:14.120 And look at how far Russia has come.
00:33:16.180 It shows how, I mean, how far Ukraine has come.
00:33:18.940 Russia's hit rock bottom because they're getting drones from Iran and missiles from North Korea.
00:33:23.080 They've raised the draft age to 65.
00:33:25.340 I know.
00:33:26.200 Last week, they didn't have any equipment.
00:33:27.980 They gave these guys off the street shovels to fight.
00:33:31.360 Putin knows he's losing.
00:33:33.420 That's why she is showing up.
00:33:35.200 And why is she not giving anything yet?
00:33:37.960 Because he's not sure that Putin can win because Putin's losing.
00:33:40.800 Let Putin lose.
00:33:42.020 Putin would have lost faster if Putin would have...
00:33:44.520 What does win and lose mean?
00:33:47.100 If Russia leaves Ukraine...
00:33:50.560 Including Crimea?
00:33:52.760 Well, I mean, if somebody came and took Texas, would you be okay with that?
00:33:56.260 Well, but I'm not saying that.
00:33:59.320 That's for Ukraine to decide.
00:34:00.840 If Russia leaves Ukraine, this whole war is over.
00:34:04.460 If Ukraine retreats, Russia moves on to Poland and the Baltics.
00:34:09.980 And all of freedom loses.
00:34:12.780 I mean, we have to look at the longer term...
00:34:14.660 I don't think we stay there for 20 years.
00:34:18.120 That's not what we're saying.
00:34:19.320 Well, you can't...
00:34:20.660 See, here's my problem.
00:34:21.620 So, let's say you're the President of the United States in 2025.
00:34:26.860 Okay?
00:34:27.180 That's a while away.
00:34:28.720 And you're talking tough.
00:34:31.040 And they know, crap, she means it.
00:34:34.400 She will do that.
00:34:35.860 Okay?
00:34:36.840 If I am Russia, I'm China, I'm ISIS-K, okay?
00:34:43.760 I see the weakness and I'm like, you want Taiwan?
00:34:48.120 Take it now.
00:34:50.320 Okay?
00:34:50.480 We'll push them over the edge.
00:34:52.940 They're completely incompetent.
00:34:54.980 There is such a thing as strategizing on timing and say, you know what?
00:35:00.560 Pull back.
00:35:01.720 Pull back because we are out of control right now.
00:35:06.540 We have screwed up everything we touch in the last three years.
00:35:12.900 And I mean everything.
00:35:14.940 I mean, Afghanistan was the biggest...
00:35:16.940 You know, we bungled that up worse than anything.
00:35:19.760 Energy, oil, the environment.
00:35:23.720 We can't keep trains on track.
00:35:26.440 Nothing.
00:35:27.500 Nothing.
00:35:28.120 There hasn't been one thing this administration has done that works in America's favor.
00:35:33.200 But Glenn, don't assume that we can't balance multiple balls at one time.
00:35:38.880 You just don't have a leader.
00:35:40.520 You've got the weakest president we've ever had.
00:35:42.760 You've got the most socialist president we've ever had.
00:35:45.500 Do you know what has happened when Russia shot down a drone, a U.S. drone?
00:35:52.680 What's happened?
00:35:53.440 Nothing.
00:35:54.120 Do you know what should have happened?
00:35:55.460 When that drone came down, we should have put two drones up there with a fighter jet.
00:35:59.340 We should have put the naval fleet in the Black Sea.
00:36:01.760 We never should have pulled it out.
00:36:03.440 It sets the tone.
00:36:04.660 It lets them know, don't go there.
00:36:07.220 I know.
00:36:07.580 It lets them know, don't...
00:36:08.640 I'm not talking about...
00:36:09.700 Returrence matters.
00:36:10.660 I'm not talking about you.
00:36:12.340 I'm talking about right now.
00:36:14.380 Oh, it's terrifying.
00:36:15.600 I don't see a way that this doesn't end horribly for us in the next two years.
00:36:24.860 Two years is a long time.
00:36:25.680 It's a very long time.
00:36:27.500 Especially if, you just said it, President Xi is going to take Taiwan.
00:36:34.320 We're fooling ourselves if we think we can really, at this point, really take them on
00:36:43.220 with their force and be in meddling with Ukraine and everything else.
00:36:49.660 We don't have the supply line for Taiwan.
00:36:54.660 Now, if you were in, Donald Trump was in, I were in, they wouldn't do it because we'd
00:37:03.980 all have a twitchy eye and like, I don't really care.
00:37:08.300 You're not going there because I'll do it.
00:37:11.200 And they would respect that.
00:37:14.200 They don't respect any of this.
00:37:15.960 We're laughing stuff.
00:37:16.900 Deterrence matters.
00:37:17.240 Deterrence matters.
00:37:18.260 But don't think for a second getting weak in the knees on Russia is going to help you
00:37:22.760 with China.
00:37:23.260 China actually getting weak in the knees in Russia is showing China exactly what they
00:37:29.080 want to see.
00:37:30.100 That's at least China has watched everything the world has done when it comes to Russia.
00:37:35.020 They've paid attention to every company that pulled out of Russia.
00:37:37.700 They paid attention to every country that has helped Ukraine.
00:37:41.240 They've paid attention to what ammunition we're using and how we're doing it.
00:37:45.280 They are in the data collection situation.
00:37:48.100 We need to make sure that we're dealing with this in a very strong way.
00:37:52.100 But it's like I said, I don't want any money going to Ukraine.
00:37:55.260 I don't want any troops going to Ukraine.
00:37:57.920 Why Biden's not with our allies saying, you do this, you do this, you do this.
00:38:01.600 That's what should happen.
00:38:02.600 I mean, Saudi Arabia just gave money to Ukraine because they're trying to keep them.
00:38:06.800 What I'm saying is deterrence around the world to our enemies always matters.
00:38:11.980 It does.
00:38:13.660 Peace through strength.
00:38:15.500 We're not strong in anything.
00:38:18.020 I know.
00:38:18.360 I agree with you on that.
00:38:20.320 Listen, if you're suffering from daily pain, I get it.
00:38:24.260 I know it is hard to get up in the morning and all you think of is I got it.
00:38:28.940 I can't do this another day.
00:38:30.540 I got to get back to bed.
00:38:32.540 That sucks.
00:38:34.120 You got to get your life back.
00:38:36.200 I got my life back.
00:38:37.320 I could not do this without real pain just a few years ago.
00:38:41.600 And then I started taking Relief Factor, by the way, if you happen to be listening, I'm opening and closing my hands.
00:38:47.040 I couldn't paint.
00:38:48.480 I couldn't hold a pencil in my hand without it cramping up within like a minute.
00:38:53.860 Now I can.
00:38:55.400 Now I can.
00:38:56.660 You could live your best possible life.
00:38:59.440 Just try Relief Factor and get out of pain.
00:39:02.280 It's worked for 70% of the people who try it.
00:39:04.880 They go on to order more month after month.
00:39:07.360 Just try it for three weeks.
00:39:08.920 The three-week quick start is $19.95.
00:39:11.960 It's a trial pack.
00:39:13.200 So try it now at relieffactor.com.
00:39:15.620 That's relieffactor.com or call 800, the number 4-RELIEF.
00:39:19.980 800-4-RELIEF.
00:39:21.240 relieffactor.com.
00:39:23.880 So let me ask you.
00:39:26.960 Putin losing Ukraine.
00:39:30.960 What do you believe?
00:39:34.460 Because he has said, and I believe dictators too.
00:39:37.320 99, I said, Obama or Osama bin Laden will blow up.
00:39:41.880 There'll be bodies and buildings in the streets of New York because he said it.
00:39:45.920 And everybody mocked me.
00:39:47.700 I take people who say I'm going to kill you seriously.
00:39:51.820 He has said that this is not about Ukraine anymore.
00:39:57.960 This is about America trying to topple Russia itself.
00:40:04.880 Okay.
00:40:05.060 Not just him.
00:40:05.920 Russia itself is at stake.
00:40:08.480 Okay.
00:40:09.620 If he believes that and he's losing.
00:40:13.880 Do you think he would use nukes?
00:40:17.200 They said the same thing with Syria.
00:40:19.800 I mean, Putin will go and make this all about victimhood all the time.
00:40:25.400 He did it.
00:40:25.940 They did it at the U.N.
00:40:26.880 But when you said, take people seriously, he is seriously saying that.
00:40:33.140 He knows that if he uses nuclear weapons, that he will be destroyed.
00:40:39.540 He knows that Russia can't take on the U.S.
00:40:42.280 That's never been an issue.
00:40:44.080 He can't even take on Ukraine.
00:40:45.620 He certainly can't take on the U.S.
00:40:47.160 Now, is he crazy enough to do it?
00:40:49.320 Any dictator is crazy enough to do it.
00:40:51.500 But would I let that scare me into anything?
00:40:53.620 Absolutely not.
00:40:55.480 That would not scare me.
00:40:57.060 It's all the more reason why we just have to be firm in understanding that axis of evil
00:41:02.320 with China, Russia, and Iran.
00:41:04.360 So, before we get off this, tell me what the next president has to do, day one,
00:41:14.260 to restore our allies back to our allies, Saudi Arabia is in bed with Iran.
00:41:23.960 They hate each other.
00:41:26.820 They hate each other.
00:41:28.220 Very telling.
00:41:29.040 Right.
00:41:29.500 That shows we've got no juice.
00:41:32.820 Israel is even saying none of the people are to talk to American ambassadors, not know.
00:41:40.360 There's no formal relations here until this president speaks to me, Benjamin Netanyahu, face
00:41:47.440 to face.
00:41:48.420 Are you kidding me?
00:41:50.420 We got no juice.
00:41:51.660 So, what's day one?
00:41:54.220 Day one, you go in and you tell countries what they expect of you.
00:41:57.760 You tell them what the U.S. is for and what the U.S. is against.
00:42:00.580 I did it at the United Nations.
00:42:02.280 I told them what we were for, what we were against.
00:42:04.460 I didn't care if they didn't like me, but I wanted them to respect America.
00:42:07.800 And you immediately start showing strength.
00:42:10.260 You don't have to take actions to do things.
00:42:13.040 A lot of times, it's just saying what you're going to do and standing by it.
00:42:17.620 Standing by it.
00:42:18.660 You know, think about what Obama did with Crimea to start with.
00:42:21.460 That's what set this off.
00:42:22.600 Think about what Biden did with Afghanistan.
00:42:24.940 Like, say what you think.
00:42:26.380 When they know, it's amazing the one thing I said, which I didn't even really think it
00:42:31.360 was anything.
00:42:32.200 The second I walked into the U.N. and I said, I want you to know, for everybody that has
00:42:37.400 our backs, we're going to have yours.
00:42:39.280 And for anyone that doesn't, we're going to be taking names.
00:42:42.200 It sent waves through the U.N.
00:42:44.800 That's common sense.
00:42:46.340 Right.
00:42:46.460 And I want to say this, because part of the strategy of what you do and what I would stop
00:42:52.020 on day one, last year, we gave $46 billion in foreign aid.
00:42:58.180 Billion dollars in foreign aid.
00:42:59.720 When I was at the U.N., I created a book.
00:43:02.480 I put 193 countries.
00:43:04.260 The second column was the percentage of times they voted with the U.S. and against the U.S.
00:43:09.040 And the third column was the amount of foreign aid we were giving them.
00:43:11.980 I took it to President Trump and I said, the days of buying friends needs to be over.
00:43:17.680 The days of paying off enemies needs to be over.
00:43:19.980 Glenn, of the $46 billion last year, we gave money to Pakistan.
00:43:24.480 They used to harbor terrorists that killed our soldiers.
00:43:27.680 We gave money to Iraq, who's holding hands with Iran that says death to America.
00:43:32.000 We gave money to Zimbabwe, the most anti-American African country there is.
00:43:36.820 We gave money to communist Cuba that we named a state sponsor of terrorism.
00:43:41.100 We give money to China.
00:43:43.660 Do you know how weak that makes us look?
00:43:46.500 Stop giving money to countries that hate America.
00:43:50.240 Stop.
00:43:52.060 I'm for that.
00:43:53.720 Let's talk about the Iranians.
00:43:59.460 They are now, at this point, all indications are they can make a bomb.
00:44:07.060 They can make the plutonium that they need.
00:44:09.560 It's enriched.
00:44:11.800 They got it.
00:44:13.680 Israel's not going to sit around for that.
00:44:15.660 And they shouldn't.
00:44:16.480 Right.
00:44:16.840 But now Israel has another enemy to worry about, and that is Saudi Arabia.
00:44:23.160 Trump had that fixed.
00:44:26.000 So what do you do with Iran?
00:44:29.680 Here's one thing I want you to kind of hit on is, it's like members of the State Department.
00:44:37.940 If I'm Iran, I'm like, she's going to be gone four years, eight tops.
00:44:43.480 Don't worry about it.
00:44:45.240 Because we're taking such radical swings back and forth.
00:44:50.180 We look crazy to the rest of the world.
00:44:53.160 So I so agree with the problem that the main thing we need to do, the main thing the next
00:44:58.980 president needs to do is not do things for four or eight years.
00:45:02.860 You've really got to set the tone for 20, 30, 40 years out.
00:45:06.900 You've got to create a vision, a long-term vision for our role in the world, for our role
00:45:12.500 economically, for our kids and how they're going to be.
00:45:14.760 We need to change with the times and have that vision.
00:45:17.900 Iran right now is sitting pretty, and they know it.
00:45:21.080 You know, when we got out of the Iran deal, one of the things that hurt them the most is
00:45:25.200 we put sanctions on them that were so tough, they couldn't do anything.
00:45:30.440 But then Biden went, started lifting those sanctions, and then China knew it was safe
00:45:34.760 to start helping them.
00:45:35.920 And then Russia started partnering in, and then they created this thing where they just
00:45:40.720 are helping each other.
00:45:41.780 It wasn't wrong that we got out of the Iran deal.
00:45:46.760 It was wrong that you loosened things up when you got out of the Iran deal.
00:45:54.540 How much trouble are we in?
00:45:59.640 Let me rephrase that.
00:46:03.520 We talk about war.
00:46:07.100 We're not just talking about the president and Congress.
00:46:09.700 We're talking about the competency of the Pentagon and the agenda of the State Department.
00:46:16.840 We talk about energy.
00:46:19.380 This is an all-government approach to take our energy sector apart.
00:46:26.800 We are now paying 100% of your profits.
00:46:31.660 If you had a coal-fired plant through the Inflation Reduction Act, we will pay your profits as a company
00:46:39.040 100% for the next 10 years, but only if you decommission that plant and sell it for scrap or destroy it.
00:46:49.200 What are we doing?
00:46:51.520 I mean, you can't look at our energy policy as it stands right now and find any common sense in it whatsoever.
00:46:59.560 I mean, we should want to make sure that we are always watching out for the national security interests of this country.
00:47:06.320 And the best way you do that is you make sure that you are not dependent on anyone or anything for your energy needs.
00:47:15.440 I mean, that is what a president should do, is only focus on the national security lens.
00:47:22.300 We should be just like with our energy and making sure that we aren't dependent on Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, any of those.
00:47:28.780 But the same thing is when you look at the country as a whole, if China does something tomorrow, are we ready?
00:47:36.540 No.
00:47:37.600 When COVID hit, they told you to put on a mask.
00:47:39.840 It was made in China.
00:47:40.740 They told you to take a test.
00:47:42.020 It was made in China.
00:47:42.920 Walk down your medicine aisles, all made in China.
00:47:46.840 We need to be making things in America again.
00:47:50.000 And if we can't make them, we need to get with an ally and assume that China pulls the rug out from under us tomorrow.
00:47:56.960 We have to be ready.
00:47:58.780 These are things you always pay attention to the national security interests.
00:48:02.480 I don't care if people buy T-shirts and light bulbs from China any more than I care if China buys agricultural products from our farmers.
00:48:08.660 But when it comes to a national security situation, we need to be focused on that from energy to economics to having a strong dollar to making sure that our education to our technology to artificial intelligence to cyber.
00:48:23.760 Our medicine.
00:48:26.060 Our medicine.
00:48:27.160 We are already having a shortage of basic antibiotics.
00:48:33.940 When things get bad.
00:48:36.180 What's the first thing they're going to do?
00:48:38.000 It's going to be leverage.
00:48:39.040 Like, hey, 1840 wasn't so bad.
00:48:42.260 That's crazy.
00:48:43.360 We've already got a shortage of cancer drugs right now.
00:48:45.620 So, you just said a strong dollar.
00:48:53.260 Our Fed has printed $8 trillion.
00:48:58.540 They did quantitative, what do they call it, not easing, but the other way, where they're trying to raise the interest rates and get that down so they can.
00:49:08.000 OK, everything they've done with all the damage that they've done, their books, they've just taken all that debt right back.
00:49:17.120 So, everything they've done, it just went right back up.
00:49:23.000 We don't have a strong dollar.
00:49:25.920 We are just debasing our dollar.
00:49:31.700 And our Fed swears that they're not working on a digital currency.
00:49:37.600 No.
00:49:38.160 But, next month, FedNow, look it up, go to FedNow.org, I think, and you can see what the Fed's been working on.
00:49:47.740 It's a new system where all your payments can be made fast through the Fed.
00:49:54.240 They say this is a challenge and an alternative to a federal central bank coin.
00:50:03.840 No, it's not.
00:50:04.480 It's the system that will run it.
00:50:06.680 But, where do you stand on digital currency and the Federal Reserve?
00:50:11.980 I mean, I don't think that they need to be controlling it.
00:50:14.640 I mean, they can't control the banks.
00:50:16.180 Why are we going to turn around and have them control that?
00:50:18.560 And, not only that, what are they going to do when they control it?
00:50:22.740 I mean, we talked about it earlier, the surveillance side.
00:50:25.340 Are you going to suddenly say, well, we're not going to do those transactions anymore?
00:50:28.420 Or are you going to change the rules after?
00:50:30.840 Or are you just going to watch what we purchase?
00:50:33.460 I mean, it's one of those things.
00:50:35.000 China's doing it right now.
00:50:36.100 I don't think we want to be China.
00:50:37.940 No.
00:50:38.460 It is a programmable coin, which will be made for you.
00:50:43.560 And so, it will tell you what you can buy and what you can't buy.
00:50:47.200 It is extraordinary.
00:50:47.920 You should be very suspicious of anything government does.
00:50:52.480 It's just because you've got bureaucrats behind it that are power hungry.
00:50:57.580 It's just the reality.
00:50:58.920 They've been there too long.
00:50:59.980 They want to create different things, and they want to control it.
00:51:03.280 But the last thing we need to do is look at anything the Fed wants to do and feel good about it.
00:51:09.120 I think they need to fix what they've got now because they've got their hands full.
00:51:12.560 So, let's look at this world of the Fed, the banks, and energy and rights, ESG.
00:51:23.440 Where do you stand on ESG?
00:51:26.280 I mean, it's just, it's another political game.
00:51:29.080 It's a political distraction that is going to the heart of everything we do.
00:51:33.960 It's ludicrous that you're telling people that before we can invest your retirement money, we've got to see what the ESG part of it is.
00:51:43.060 Like, that's ludicrous.
00:51:45.320 So, what happens, because Europe is ahead of us, and the way ESG is supposed to work is, as if this makes sense, if I'm a company and you're a supplier, okay, I have an ESG score of 80.
00:52:02.240 I can't buy any supplies from you unless you have a score of 80.
00:52:09.000 If you have a lower score, I have to find someone else or encourage you to get your ESG score up.
00:52:16.880 Now, here's the problem.
00:52:18.320 Any company that is doing, I think it's $10 or $100 million worth of business in Europe, if your company is based here, you cannot do business over in Europe unless your score on the European scale.
00:52:39.000 It fits.
00:52:40.140 So, all of the laws from Europe, even if we kill it here, all of the laws from Europe apply to our biggest companies.
00:52:48.660 What do you do?
00:52:49.740 I mean, the last thing you do is fall for it.
00:52:51.900 We don't want to follow Europe when it comes to that.
00:52:54.740 Look, I mean, the whole point is America needs to figure out how to be sustainable.
00:52:58.980 And we don't go and do that by regulations from other countries.
00:53:04.840 We don't do it by putting heavy regulations on our own businesses.
00:53:08.660 If you take care of your businesses, the economy flourishes.
00:53:12.160 But you don't weigh them down.
00:53:13.880 We don't need to weigh them down with ESG protocols.
00:53:16.900 That's not what we need to do.
00:53:18.300 We'll go somewhere else if we have to.
00:53:20.400 But the last thing you want to do is put more regulations on our businesses.
00:53:23.800 We're in the worst economy we've had in a long time.
00:53:26.000 We need to go lift up our businesses.
00:53:28.260 We don't need to be hindering them.
00:53:29.580 And how do we lift them up?
00:53:31.040 You allow businesses to work.
00:53:33.160 You know, when I was governor, we focused on getting regulations off.
00:53:37.280 We focused on, I told all my agencies, if businesses have cash, they don't go on vacation.
00:53:42.940 They hire more people.
00:53:44.580 The focus is stay out of their way.
00:53:47.160 Let them have economic freedom.
00:53:49.260 Let them expand.
00:53:50.460 Let them do.
00:53:51.620 And government should just sit back and thank them.
00:53:54.560 That's what we need to do.
00:53:55.640 There is something to capitalism.
00:53:57.480 Now, is there corruption every now and then?
00:53:59.300 Yeah, you go and you punish that when that happens.
00:54:01.920 But capitalism is meant to work.
00:54:03.860 And that's just total economic freedom.
00:54:06.660 But who do you run to when the police, the government, are corrupt?
00:54:14.500 Who do you run to?
00:54:16.020 You need somebody that's going to go clean house.
00:54:19.320 You need to have it.
00:54:20.800 And I know it can be done because we did it in South Carolina.
00:54:23.740 What I don't want Americans to think is this is a foregone conclusion that we're just too lost to be fixed.
00:54:31.440 The only thing that's too lost to be fixed is when people, when Americans give up.
00:54:35.700 And Americans can't give up.
00:54:37.280 We have a country to save.
00:54:39.200 And we have to be willing to save her.
00:54:41.900 I think people are.
00:54:43.840 The people I know are wide awake.
00:54:47.980 They are just.
00:54:50.860 I think this is one of the things that Donald Trump has brought to the table.
00:54:55.400 is you could agree or disagree, but you feel he is in it for you.
00:55:05.780 That may not be true.
00:55:07.500 Maybe true.
00:55:08.120 I don't know.
00:55:08.740 But he he he's like they're coming for me and you.
00:55:14.560 And that's important because people, at least on the right, have are pretty done with the party labels and all of that.
00:55:25.660 They know the Constitution is hanging by a thread.
00:55:30.040 They know that we are in deep trouble.
00:55:33.240 Who is going to stand up, not just for the people, but constitutionally stand up and clean this mess up?
00:55:43.440 Well, government was intended to serve the people, not the other way around.
00:55:47.520 That's not the case right now.
00:55:49.500 And so you've got to go change the culture back of the role of government.
00:55:53.480 That means calling out Congress every time they want to start a new program.
00:55:57.280 That means going to the agencies every time they want to bloat and tell them we want to see how you're going to cut.
00:56:02.700 That goes back to the states and giving governors as much control and allowing their people to decide things as they can.
00:56:09.260 You've got to go start cutting away.
00:56:11.620 I keep referring to it as a house.
00:56:13.380 You've got to declutter your house and in our house, our government house is really cluttered.
00:56:19.160 We've got a lot of decluttering to do, but you start somewhere.
00:56:23.380 You start somewhere and the people will be with us when we do this.
00:56:27.400 Oh, I know because they feel it.
00:56:29.220 They right now feel like they're working to give money to the government that's not doing anything for them.
00:56:34.960 And we have to go and change that government was intended to secure the rights and freedoms of the people.
00:56:40.200 I will say it over and over and it was never meant to be all things to all people.
00:56:43.660 And right now it's even trying to be parents in schools like we have to stop that.
00:56:47.240 No, it's not even trying.
00:56:48.320 It's just doing it.
00:56:50.700 It's just assuming something that is so anti-American that no, you don't have it right.
00:56:58.040 You're not smart enough.
00:56:59.460 It's I'm so sick and tired of these elites.
00:57:01.440 It's they haven't been right on one damn thing in the last 10 years.
00:57:06.680 Not one.
00:57:07.800 Name it.
00:57:08.580 What have they been right on?
00:57:09.920 Did health care costs go down?
00:57:11.440 We did your plan.
00:57:12.620 Did health care costs go down or did they go up?
00:57:15.900 Are we safer now or just even two years ago?
00:57:21.860 Because all the experts said what that guy was doing was wrong.
00:57:25.240 What you were doing at the U.N. would get us all killed.
00:57:28.680 But look at us now on every single front.
00:57:33.220 We are living Woodrow Wilson's administrative state.
00:57:37.840 And I don't think these experts have any credibility at all.
00:57:42.380 The elitist mentality is demeaning and judgmental.
00:57:45.860 And they want to tell you, you don't know how to parent, will parent your kids in schools.
00:57:51.360 You don't know how to pick the school for your children because you don't have a high school education or you don't have a college education.
00:57:57.620 You don't know what's best for you.
00:57:59.560 We will protect you from COVID.
00:58:01.280 We will tell you all of the things that have happened in the past five years should be the wake up call that we need.
00:58:07.240 Because our kids have suffered, our families have suffered, our economy has suffered, where we stand in the world has suffered, all because we allowed elitists and bureaucrats to tell us what to do.
00:58:21.500 So Fauci, I think, lied to us about the origins.
00:58:28.880 I mean, he was paying for that research at Wuhan.
00:58:32.680 He knew.
00:58:33.620 He knew.
00:58:34.080 So, if that's proven, should he go to jail?
00:58:39.400 What should happen?
00:58:40.560 What should we do with China?
00:58:42.040 If that was happening, what do we do?
00:58:46.860 Hold them accountable.
00:58:48.280 No one has held China accountable for COVID.
00:58:50.400 I, first of all, think that COVID came from a lab.
00:58:54.600 I don't think it was malicious.
00:58:56.160 I think it was an accident.
00:58:57.160 I do, too.
00:58:57.580 But I think China didn't want to be the only country embarrassed.
00:59:01.700 And just look at their actions.
00:59:03.060 They closed their border to keep anyone from coming in, but they opened their border to let everybody go out.
00:59:10.140 They immediately went to the World Health Organization and said, condemn the United States for closing their border.
00:59:16.640 And Fauci and company fell for all of it.
00:59:20.480 He knew.
00:59:21.220 I mean, God help us if we were going and investing in that lab.
00:59:25.080 We were.
00:59:25.700 Because that's exactly.
00:59:26.500 That's fact.
00:59:27.460 But that's exactly what I'm talking about.
00:59:29.260 Why are we giving money to an enemy?
00:59:32.040 Why do you give money to countries that hate America?
00:59:34.260 Because this is the same thing we do when it comes to torture.
00:59:38.300 Oh, we're against torture.
00:59:39.620 We don't torture.
00:59:40.500 But we'll ghost plane you to Saudi Arabia.
00:59:43.000 You know, we're not going to do gain-of-function research, but we'll pay for it being done in China.
00:59:50.240 We have no credibility.
00:59:51.640 That's why I said stop all of this foreign money that's going out unless it's a win-win.
00:59:56.780 We should never do it.
00:59:58.000 I don't know about you, but I just love to sweat.
01:00:03.820 I mean, it is a great.
01:00:05.720 Nobody likes to sweat.
01:00:07.520 Nobody likes it.
01:00:08.680 I was at a concert the other day, and I saw two friends.
01:00:12.440 They're both conductors, and they were conducting this 400-voice choir in a full symphony orchestra.
01:00:18.640 And one of them was playing the piano like crazy.
01:00:21.980 And I go back.
01:00:22.860 One of them, they're two brothers.
01:00:24.000 One of them, absolutely dry.
01:00:26.420 Gives me a big hug.
01:00:27.300 The other one's like, don't come close.
01:00:29.120 I am sweating like a pig.
01:00:32.300 Nobody wants to say that, but that's the way I am.
01:00:35.720 Sweating like a pig until I found sweat block.
01:00:38.760 I want you to try this.
01:00:40.180 They have wipes, I kid you not, that will prevent you from sweating for days after you've used them.
01:00:46.300 I've used them myself.
01:00:47.400 I use them all the time, especially down here in the flaming hot.
01:00:51.500 I mean, it's like the surface of the sun living in Texas.
01:00:54.400 You need to stop sweating, stop smelling.
01:00:58.860 It's easy.
01:01:00.000 It's easy.
01:01:00.820 All you have to do is just wipe under each arm like once a week, and it's done.
01:01:06.280 This is a totally different thing.
01:01:08.100 Sweatblock.com.
01:01:09.140 Go there now.
01:01:09.760 Use the promo code BECCSave20%.
01:01:11.800 Sweatblock.com.
01:01:13.420 Get the wipes now.
01:01:15.760 Let me take you to the World Health Organization.
01:01:20.720 It's just a farce.
01:01:23.940 It's a farce.
01:01:25.340 It is.
01:01:25.980 I mean, I think when you talk about holding China accountable for COVID, you go and you need to tear up the World Health Organization because they are as responsible as China is for doing that.
01:01:36.280 You had, I mean, here they knew that this virus had leaked.
01:01:43.600 They had meetings.
01:01:45.220 They did nothing about it over and over and over again until they went to China to meet with President Xi and get their marching orders, and then they came back.
01:01:55.620 The number of days of people who died because of that, and yet the UN has never had a hearing on it, the other countries haven't gone and said anything about it.
01:02:07.480 Like, we should be exposing all of this.
01:02:10.300 Why are we paying for it?
01:02:11.720 Well, you shouldn't.
01:02:12.820 Right.
01:02:13.120 We should drop out of the WHO.
01:02:18.220 From the second that happened, there should have been no question about dropping out of it because they were totally playing China's game.
01:02:24.260 Correct.
01:02:24.440 So, that's the UN.
01:02:28.020 The UN, I mean, as America gets weaker, you see how much we have helped the world stay stable.
01:02:36.940 It's not the UN.
01:02:38.120 The UN is garbage.
01:02:40.860 Why are we still a member of the UN and paying them?
01:02:44.220 There's only one reason.
01:02:46.040 I'll tell you that the UN is a farce.
01:02:49.660 After being there a couple of years, I can tell you the intent was good.
01:02:54.100 They thought if they put 193 countries in a room in the name of peace that all good things would happen.
01:02:58.940 Yeah.
01:02:59.200 But 193 countries don't share the same values.
01:03:01.700 So, you're never going to have that.
01:03:03.200 The only reason that the U.S. stays in it is because they have one of five vetoes.
01:03:07.720 And they can stop China and they can stop Russia and Iran from doing bad things.
01:03:12.180 That's the only reason.
01:03:13.280 Because other than that, they shouldn't.
01:03:15.820 And I don't think we should be giving near the amount of money we're giving.
01:03:19.420 I mean, I think we should totally gut what we're giving.
01:03:22.080 Because China's being treated as a developing country.
01:03:25.040 Can you believe that?
01:03:25.720 Those are the dues they're paying.
01:03:27.480 I think we should be a developing country.
01:03:29.400 Why don't we pay dues that low?
01:03:31.380 Because we wouldn't lose our veto status.
01:03:33.720 So, why keep paying if we know that they're bought and paid for by China and by others?
01:03:38.680 Tell me about the border.
01:03:44.740 I know where you stand on the border.
01:03:47.120 So, let's kind of talk about the hopefully non-spoken deal that we've made with Mexico and the drug cartels and the human traffickers.
01:04:02.560 Because we, I'm beginning, I said to my wife last night, I've read the book of Revelation.
01:04:11.580 Everybody always says, how come America's not in it?
01:04:13.880 I think we might be the bad guys in it.
01:04:16.560 I think we are going so dark, so fast, that if we don't turn it around, we may be the Babylon.
01:04:23.320 We may be the great whore of the earth that had everything and we hoard it all out for money.
01:04:29.040 Well, first, let me say what we should be doing with the border, which is I do think we should put up the wall.
01:04:35.520 I do think we go back to remain in Mexico.
01:04:37.640 I do think we stop catch and release.
01:04:39.140 But more importantly, I think we do what I did in South Carolina, which is an Arizona-style mandatory e-verify program,
01:04:46.340 which basically I told South Carolina businesses, you cannot hire anybody in this country illegally.
01:04:51.820 So, they all left because they couldn't get jobs.
01:04:54.760 We need to do that all across the country is have that mandatory e-verify program.
01:04:58.540 And when the Mexican president says, oh, you should take care of your own people, you know, you can't do anything with the cartels,
01:05:04.820 my answer would be either you deal with it or I deal with it, but one of us is going to deal with it.
01:05:09.800 What does that mean, you deal with the cartels?
01:05:12.420 I mean, we go in and we use our special, we treat it like ISIS.
01:05:15.860 This is a war.
01:05:17.100 You go and you put special operations, you use cyber, you use your intelligence, and you make sure that you stop this flow.
01:05:23.200 So, we have had more people die from fentanyl and opioids, more than the Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan wars combined.
01:05:34.300 That's a war.
01:05:36.220 And here, China's sending fentanyl over.
01:05:39.040 They know exactly what they're doing.
01:05:41.260 The cartels are making it and spreading it all over America.
01:05:44.120 We're not doing anything to stop it.
01:05:45.940 We could go in and stop it.
01:05:48.460 We've got the special operations to identify each and every one of them, just like we did with ISIS, and go and stop all of that.
01:05:55.800 We don't wait on the Mexican president to tell us that.
01:05:58.540 We handle it ourselves.
01:05:59.780 Our kids are dying.
01:06:03.240 I agree.
01:06:03.980 Number one cause of death between ages of 18 to 49 is fentanyl and opioids.
01:06:12.400 Let me, do you think Texas has it right when they say the government is not protecting the border, and so the Constitution gives us the right to protect it ourself?
01:06:27.580 I, look, as, if I were governor of Texas, you do whatever it takes to protect your people.
01:06:35.220 That's your job.
01:06:36.320 Your job is to keep your people safe.
01:06:38.500 Whatever it takes.
01:06:39.620 If the feds won't do their job, then you take it into your own hands and you take care of it.
01:06:43.300 Okay.
01:06:45.200 Last question is, I think that GOP is so bifurcated now.
01:06:54.640 And there's, you know, the old kind of John McCain, Mitch McConnell thing.
01:07:05.440 There is the new kind of, I would say it's more founders, but it's a little scary because it's like, I don't want any government.
01:07:17.620 Um, and, and then there's everything kind of in between and you're a tea party person, but you also, I mean, the left calls you a neocon.
01:07:31.840 Um, so tell me who you are, how, what, who are you most like?
01:07:40.580 What would you take pieces from?
01:07:42.940 I mean, you can't label me.
01:07:44.400 I mean, the thing is, you know, they, many have said, oh, she's a warmonger.
01:07:49.060 No, I'm not.
01:07:49.860 My husband is in the military.
01:07:51.140 Do you think I want him in a war?
01:07:53.480 Strong militaries prevent wars.
01:07:55.300 They don't start wars.
01:07:56.180 So, you know, I mean, people have always tried to label, I'm a conservative.
01:08:00.360 I've been a conservative.
01:08:01.600 I came in through the tea party.
01:08:02.960 I'm still that same person that thinks that government's too big, that spending's too much, and that we owe it to our kids to pay down this debt and give them an opportunity to live better.
01:08:13.880 I mean, the reason that I'm running right now is my parents came here 50 years ago to a country that was strong and proud and full of opportunities.
01:08:24.660 I want to do this to prove to them that they made a good decision.
01:08:28.300 I'm doing this for my husband and his military brothers and sisters because I want them to know their sacrifice meant something, that we do value our freedoms, that we do value our country.
01:08:38.120 I'm doing this for my kids because my daughter, she's getting married in a few weeks, and I see her and her fiance struggling to buy a home.
01:08:45.680 My son is in college, and I see him writing papers he doesn't believe in just to get an A.
01:08:50.920 I'm doing this because I think that America's falling into this socialist defeatism that is killing us.
01:09:00.700 And I know America's better than this.
01:09:03.240 But I will say this, and I've said this to everybody, don't complain about what we have in a general if you don't play in this primary.
01:09:11.140 This is about truly going back to the soul of America and making sure that we bring her back to life because we've lost her.
01:09:20.520 But she's not dead.
01:09:22.060 She's not dead.
01:09:23.380 And it's going to take work, and it's going to take every single American saying, stop this political bickering.
01:09:29.460 Stop this labeling.
01:09:30.760 I don't care what you want to label me, stop it.
01:09:33.300 I am an American-loving patriot that believes that my children deserve better.
01:09:39.160 We have 50% of Americans today, Glenn, that say they don't think their kids are going to live as good of a life as them.
01:09:46.700 We should never be okay with that.
01:09:48.880 As a parent, I need to know that my kids have a better country than what I had.
01:09:53.940 That's our obligation to our kids.
01:09:58.460 And we have to do that.
01:09:59.960 And I'm going to do that.
01:10:00.880 I'm going to fight for that because they deserve it.
01:10:03.820 Your kids deserve it.
01:10:05.300 American families deserve to know what it's like to have that stability again and that safety again and that freedom again and not be clouded by all this political gamesmanship and revengism and all of these things that are just ridiculous.
01:10:21.320 The distractions are terrible.
01:10:23.400 Horrible.
01:10:24.560 Horrible.
01:10:25.820 Thank you, Nikki.
01:10:26.900 I'm sorry it's over.
