00:08:07.400 Shedim literally means destroyers, but it says they're worshiping that.

00:08:10.900 So what it's saying is behind the gods, it's not saying the gods are like masks, you know,

00:08:14.780 behind, but there are spiritual things.

00:08:18.480 There are people who are not even believers, they're liberal and, you know, whatever, and

00:08:46.920 It's a weird thing because, because the Greeks called many of their gods demons.

00:08:52.440 And so, and when Paul in the new Testament, he says the pagan world, pagan world is worshiping

00:08:59.600 So the first thing is that there's something real behind them, not that the mythology we

00:09:05.100 And so when you look at pagan culture or the culture outside of the Bible, it has the same,

00:09:09.840 um, the same signs of demonic possession.

00:09:13.380 You know, when the closer you got to the gods, like, uh, the oracles and the priests, the more

00:09:18.140 they're shaking and trembling and channeling and foaming at the mouth, that's all over the

00:09:23.320 So you even Western civilization was part of it, except for the Bible.

00:09:26.620 So you have a, a, a culture that's given to the gods, given to the spirits, but then

00:09:33.880 So the, what we're going to talk about are the, the ancient rituals, but they've happened

00:10:34.580 And he, and he, and this is crucial because with Nazi Germany, with what's happening now

00:10:39.320 and that is, he gives this parable, but this parable is crucial because it says that if

00:10:43.780 a spirit leaves a man talking about exorcism, leaves a man, but it goes around looking for

00:10:48.820 a place, doesn't find it says, I'm going to go back to the man.

00:10:51.340 I'm going to go back to my house, goes back to the house or the man finds it swept empty,

00:10:56.560 clean in order, goes back at seven other spirits.

00:10:59.500 They go back.

00:11:01.120 Jesus said the latter, the last state is worse than the first.

00:11:05.320 And so, but he said, people say, okay, that's about a person.

00:11:07.960 He says at the end, he says, so it will be with this generation.

00:11:12.660 It can happen to a culture, it can happen to a civilization.

00:11:15.540 And so the warning is that any nation or civilization, Western civilization was basically

00:11:21.160 exercised of these things by the, when the gospel came in, it was a basically a mass

00:11:26.600 The gods left and it was, that's why the West is so different.

00:11:32.960 But the warning is to America, to the world, that if it ever turns away from God, if it

00:11:42.320 These spirits, these, or the gods, these, the same things that were cast out of it at

00:11:47.060 the beginning of the age are coming back into it.

00:11:49.520 And so that happened with, when Germany, that's the warning because look what happened.

00:11:53.320 Germany was the land of the Reformation, land of the Bible.

00:13:23.940 In other words, what's coming is worse than what was in paganism.

00:13:28.440 Or put another way, the pagan world could produce a Caligula or a Nero.

00:13:32.680 The post-Christian world produces a Hitler and a Stalin.

00:13:38.820 And one of the things that pagan or the revival of these things do is it devalues life.

00:13:45.300 You know, people could be killed, babies could be killed, and old people could be killed.

00:13:59.260 They said 10,000 people have been killed last year in Canada under the program of euthanasia.

00:14:30.560 When you, when, and I'm glad you brought up Germany because you cannot explain that in the natural.

00:14:35.340 You can only explain that with there is something demonic or something spiritual.

00:15:35.120 And what happened is when Israel turned away from God and the house, it wasn't going to

00:15:42.300 And what happened is that the effect on, on the culture then in ancient Israel was that

00:15:49.140 it started driving God out of everything, started almost exercising the culture of God,

00:15:54.060 driving him out of the, out of the, the public square, out of the government, out of life.

00:15:58.640 Well, that has been happening in America.

00:16:00.700 That's the first sign of it.

00:16:01.860 In fact, that's part of opening the door.

00:16:03.500 Like, how does it happen?

00:16:04.360 Well, you open the door when you start saying, well, we don't need God here.

00:16:07.160 We don't need prayer in school.

00:16:08.540 We don't need this.

00:16:09.440 That started in the early sixties.

00:16:10.960 And when you look at all these things, that's where you see it go.

00:16:14.440 Because when you open up, it's like you empty the house.

00:16:17.060 The house isn't saying empty.

00:16:18.120 If you take God out of the schools, you take God out of the children, something else is going

00:16:23.200 This is exactly what Nietzsche was talking about when he said, God is dead.

00:16:29.920 People always read that like he was celebrating.

00:16:31.860 No, he was saying, be careful because man will have a God.

00:16:36.660 And what are you replacing God with?

00:16:39.740 Because something else will come in.

00:16:42.080 And something came in into Germany just like that.

00:16:45.080 Well, we made the same mistake.

00:16:46.600 You know, we did it.

00:16:47.200 We didn't do it as dramatically as Nietzsche, but we made the same mistake.

00:16:51.460 Well, what happened is something came into our culture and it's not staying empty.

00:16:55.000 And so what came in is this, the first spirit is that.

00:16:57.200 Baal is always the first.

00:16:58.060 He's kind of like that, the spirit that comes in back and says, I'm going to get my friends.

00:17:03.300 Baal caused Israel to turn away from God.

00:17:06.760 It's the principality that takes a culture that has known God, like ancient Israel, modern

00:17:11.780 America, and converts it or seeks to convert it from a Judeo-Christian nation into a pagan

00:17:18.640 And that's exactly, if you want to look at what's been happening to America and much

00:17:21.880 of the world, it's exactly that.

00:17:23.380 It's a process of paganization and it's a repossession.

00:17:26.480 And the other thing it says he did, it says he caused, he caused Israel to forget God.

00:17:31.100 Well, it's like there's an amnesia that has come on America.

00:17:34.060 You know, if we were, if we were in the 1950s, we would see that the teachers of this nation

00:17:39.040 were leading our children into the Lord's prayer.

00:17:41.860 We can't even, we can barely remember that America.

00:17:44.300 I mean, it's so foreign, but it has caused us not only to forget God, but it's caused

00:17:48.340 us to forget we even knew God.

00:17:49.780 We have, we have a culture that barely even knows it ever knew it.

00:17:52.680 And the other thing it says it caused Israel to overturn the ways of God.

00:17:56.440 So we have literally struck down the 10 commandments in this, just like Israel.

00:18:00.120 So what's been happening since the sixties, it hasn't stopped a continual overturning of

00:18:04.980 the ways of God and until it leads to where we are now.

00:18:08.020 But it's not just like, that's like the, the, that's kind of like the obvious ways, but there

00:18:13.420 For instance, wokeism and all these things we're dealing with right now that, you know, if

00:18:17.300 you have monotheism, you have one truth.

00:18:24.000 You have many gods, many truths.

00:18:55.000 He used a Greek word, techne, we get the word technology.

00:18:58.320 So what is happening now, we turn away from God.

00:19:04.720 It's, it's, it's, and it's weird because when I read that, I thought, I thought of everybody

00:20:10.440 Well, if you go down to New York city, go down to where the Harbingers are, where I've

00:20:14.080 talked about it, you go down, you'll see a massive bronze bull.

00:20:17.700 They didn't know what they were doing, but this is a sign in the Bible of a nation that

00:20:23.400 I mean, from the golden calf to the bronze bull that has known God turned away is now given

00:21:41.060 So you have the arch, you have the gateway of Baal at the gateway of America, a nation
