00:00:00.000 So, as I lifted my head up, all I know is something went through the right eye.
00:00:10.000 I'm here to deliver this message, and if it's going to cost me my life, then so be it.
00:00:15.000 So, that leads me to where I really want to talk to you.
00:00:18.000 Yes, sir.
00:00:23.000 Hello, Bishop.
00:00:25.000 Hello to you, Glenn.
00:00:26.000 It's so nice to have you here.
00:00:27.000 here i've wanted to talk to you for i ever since i saw you um being attacked and your response
00:00:35.500 to that attack was remarkable and i don't want to spend a lot of time on this but can you just
00:00:41.080 tell the story because i it leads me into forgiveness which i really want to talk to you
00:00:45.740 about tell me what happened to you when was it three years ago two years ago just over two years
00:00:50.740 now? Yeah. Well, I was just getting ready for a Bible preach in the church. And it was the
00:00:58.660 Assyrian language, which is my native tongue. And just before going live, I was just going through
00:01:05.600 the papers just to make sure my notes and everything. And I had my head down. I noticed
00:01:12.180 somebody was standing right close to me. I thought they just wanted to say hello.
00:01:16.460 So as I lifted my head up, all I know was something went through the right eye.
00:01:23.620 So now I have a prosthetic eye.
00:01:27.640 That was the first hit.
00:01:30.460 It took the right eye out completely.
00:01:34.240 And then I felt very dizzy, and all I know is I fell on the ground.
00:01:39.500 There was four more blows to the back of the head.
00:01:42.660 but it looks like the Lord Jesus didn't want me to go as yet.
00:01:48.480 This is remarkable.
00:01:49.460 Absolutely, yeah.
00:01:50.260 So the knife had closed on the young man's hand
00:01:53.020 and apparently it cut one of his fingers.
00:01:55.700 So he realized with those four blows to the back of my head,
00:01:58.660 the knife was closed on him
00:02:00.020 and he opened it very quickly
00:02:03.080 and he gave me two more blows to the neck.
00:02:07.800 He was going for the main artery
00:02:09.580 but he missed it by a very close close you know you know he was very close to it um the surgeon
00:02:18.100 uh told me in the hospital the following day one of the uh stabs was very deep that's why
00:02:25.000 it sort of um caused a damage to the whole shoulder so till today the shoulder is is kind
00:02:33.360 I've gone lower and tilted, yeah.
00:02:36.620 But, you know, I thank the Lord for everything.
00:02:40.340 So tell me about the kid, 16 years old, Muslim.
00:02:44.080 I believe so.
00:02:45.040 I believe so, yeah.
00:02:48.180 Do you know where he is now?
00:02:50.600 All I know, it's the court case is still going.
00:02:55.460 I haven't heard any updates for the last few months.
00:02:59.460 So I don't know, yeah.
00:03:01.100 So you're in the hospital for how long?
00:03:03.360 I believe it was two or three days. I was released fairly quickly. It wasn't, I wasn't sort of ready
00:03:12.280 for that because my head looked like a balloon. It was very, very severe damage and the pain was
00:03:18.740 enormous. I was taking two different, the strongest painkillers you could ever come across,
00:03:24.540 two kind of them. I was taking them. They did not much. Yeah. Yeah. It was, yeah, it was very
00:03:29.880 severe pain. So I was released after two or three days maximum.
00:03:37.960 What was the reaction among your followers at that time?
00:03:43.900 As you can appreciate, dear Glenn, I believe it was mixed sort of emotions and mixed reactions
00:03:50.880 to it. Some, you know, they said, thank God that the bishop is still around. He's with us.
00:03:55.940 he hasn't been taken. Some obviously were very angry, and they wanted to retaliate. That's why
00:04:02.960 I actually gave a voice message from the hospital the second day. I had a recording, and I sent it.
00:04:13.040 They put it all over the radio stations in Australia, and they just said, oh, the bishop
00:04:18.760 is forgiving this young man, and it was remarkable, and it sort of calmed the situation down as well.
00:04:25.940 So that leads me to where I really want to talk to you.
00:04:29.460 Yes, sir.
00:04:35.980 In America, we've just passed the dates of 9-11,
00:04:45.540 the date where Charlie Kirk was killed.
00:04:47.780 Yeah, that's very sad.
00:04:48.920 We are asked to forgive, but as I talked about how we have to love each other
00:05:01.860 over the last few days, I keep getting mail from people who are good Christians, I'm sure.
00:05:08.760 Yes.
00:05:09.580 And they'll say, Christ isn't weak.
00:05:15.780 Amen.
00:05:16.660 And I'm like, I know he's not.
00:05:18.440 I mean, believe me, I've been corrected by him a few times.
00:05:21.720 He will let you know when you're wrong, and he requires us to let you know.
00:05:26.460 He doesn't tolerate lies.
00:05:28.260 Yes, amen.
00:05:30.100 And so people have this idea that forgiveness erases consequence.
00:05:39.420 Yeah.
00:05:39.980 I believe, dear Glenn, the most powerful and influential gift, any human being, and I mean any human being, I'm not talking about just Christians, but any human being.
00:05:55.960 The ultimate gift you could ever ask for is when I am found guilty and I am worthy to be sentenced to death and I'm being held captive and walking to my death and some stranger comes along and says, release this man, let him be free, I will take his place.
00:06:23.360 now no language can elaborate on this no intellect can fathom this but the enormous overwhelming joy
00:06:35.540 that is unimaginable is why is this person doing this for me yet i'm not worthy of it
00:06:44.280 so the ultimate gift is i'm guilty the judge says you're guilty and i'm sentencing you hereby
00:06:52.360 to death but someone comes along and along and says no you're free you live I die in your place
00:07:01.580 that's what Christ did humanity needs forgiveness
00:07:07.920 we live at a time and age where we have lost track of our humanity
00:07:18.260 I believe if we find our humanity we will find our faith because let us not forget from the very
00:07:27.220 beginning God created us in his image according to his likeness Genesis 126 let us go down and
00:07:35.320 make man in our image according to our likeness he made this man in his image that man is not
00:07:41.720 just spirit is also physical body we need to find that humanity in us in order to find our
00:07:50.120 spirituality and i believe if we have if we stay and remain in touch with our human element we will
00:07:58.300 find god and that's why forgiveness is so vital is so vital because because forgiveness is the
00:08:07.540 sign of mercy and what saved me and all of us was the mercy of god so love love did send mercy
00:08:17.780 but love alone is not enough but what i'm reaching for is because i understand it spiritually i
00:08:29.040 understand the rot yes that happens in each of our souls when we cannot it is the
00:08:35.460 it is the greatest thing we can do for others, but us.
00:08:42.080 You know, I'm going to be greedy here for a second.
00:08:44.040 For us, my soul will not rot in hatred and anger and revenge.
00:08:50.800 So we have to let that go.
00:08:53.060 But there is a difference between God's mercy, God's justice,
00:08:59.680 and what has to happen here on earth.
00:09:02.960 Look, I believe forgiveness is one thing, but justice is a totally different thing.
00:09:08.800 So when I'm forgiving somebody, I'm not saying that what has been done is okay to do, not
00:09:15.800 quite the contrary, but forgiveness has to be there, but justice must take also its path
00:09:22.380 and be fulfilled.
00:09:24.440 So we have the right to also protect ourselves and seek our rights and our justice.
00:09:31.580 And, you know, in some of our sort of, you know, videos there,
00:09:36.780 like we spoke about things that even at a government level were not accepted.
00:09:41.220 But it had to be said, truth can't be hidden.
00:09:46.300 And the truth will always prevail at the end of the day.
00:09:48.940 The sun rises regardless what the world tries to do.
00:09:52.600 And when the sun rises, nobody can say it is not light anymore.
00:09:56.560 And this is Christ.
00:09:58.540 He is the son of righteousness and healing in its wings, as Malachi says.
00:10:03.660 So justice will prevail at the end, but forgiveness along the way, it's extremely vital as well.
00:10:11.880 But at a human level, we are so weak, and we tend to sort of retaliate at a time where
00:10:19.080 I've been hurt so badly, and I want my justice to be given to me.
00:10:25.640 So that retaliation has to be sort of managed and controlled as much as we can.
00:10:32.240 When you were in the hospital, if I remember right, you released an audio of you forgiving him.
00:10:39.620 Yes.
00:10:40.000 And again, if I'm remembering right, it was also a plea to your own supporters of do not.
00:10:50.940 I mean, it was very, obviously very Christ-like, very Gandhi-like as well, you know, where I can't, you're not a follower of mine, you're not a follower of Christ if you retaliate.
00:11:04.360 Yes. But, I mean, we have to calm the situation as much as we can, and we need to reflect Christ in our lives.
00:11:16.840 The Lord Jesus represents us before the Father, and we have to represent Him before the world.
00:11:23.920 And how is He representing us before the Father? Perfectly.
00:11:27.700 and how are we going to represent christ before the world that is god that is godless and that is
00:11:34.160 loveless the lord says you are the light of the world means it means that the world is dark
00:11:41.140 and that's i am the light of the world and i'm sending you now to represent me so you have to
00:11:46.420 carry this light to a dark world and obviously there is going to be a lot of frictions because
00:11:52.140 darkness never loves the light in fact it hates it so and and and a world that has no peace in it
00:11:59.340 and you come with a message of peace and love and humility and forgiveness where it's total
00:12:04.200 contradictive to what the world is all about the world says you have to prove yourself the lord
00:12:09.500 jesus says you have to deny yourself so there is a two contradictive statements here but love never
00:12:17.140 fails. 50,000 children. That's enough to fill an entire football stadium, and every single one of
00:12:25.880 them has their entire life ahead of them. Their first steps, their first words, their birthdays,
00:12:30.740 graduations, the weddings, children of their own, generations of people who might have never existed.
00:12:37.600 Here's the extraordinary part. Those 50,000 children are alive today because of you and
00:12:41.980 the work of Preborn. It's all because of Preborn's ministry. More than 5,100 people have made
00:12:50.220 commitments to Christ alone this year. That's what happens when Christians stop talking about 1.00
00:12:54.900 making a difference and actually make a difference. Preborn works with expectant moms who are 1.00
00:12:59.500 considering an abortion, offering them love, support, and free ultrasounds. And when a mom
00:13:04.000 gets a glimpse of her first child, she's 80% more likely to choose life. Now 50,000 children. That's
00:13:09.960 an extraordinary achievement. But there's another mom out there who doesn't know what 0.87
00:13:13.880 to do. Donate. Dial pound 250. Say the keyword baby. Pound 250. Keyword baby. Or donate now 1.00
00:13:19.260 securely online. Preborn.com slash Glenn. So how do you, you believe we're living in
00:13:29.300 a world that, I'm assuming, where evil is rearing its head. Like, I've never seen it
00:13:39.160 like this before in my lifetime um so how do you rebuke how do you speak truth how do you say
00:13:47.460 i'm sorry when the world says you're a hater for saying something yes and the world takes
00:13:53.140 something that can be said in love look i don't have any problem with you i don't but this is
00:13:59.180 evil this is wrong how do you how do you do that where's the balance how do you
00:14:05.700 How do you stand against evil and do it in love in a world where nobody will recognize that love?
00:14:17.680 They'll call that hate.
00:14:20.600 I believe nothing comes for free.
00:14:24.920 There is a price tag to everything.
00:14:27.280 And if people say, we give you this for free, there has to be something behind that.
00:14:33.620 The Lord Jesus, he knew when the way he spoke, he knew this was going to get him into trouble.
00:14:41.040 But I'm here to do the will of my father.
00:14:45.080 Therefore, whatever it costs me, as long as my dad is happy and pleased, then so be it.
00:14:53.720 We need to have a principle in life and we stick to that principle.
00:14:58.460 And whatever the consequences of that later on, it's totally beside the point.
00:15:04.240 I'm here to deliver this message, and if it's going to cost me my life, then so be it.
00:15:12.080 Jesus Christ is so unique, there was never anybody like him, neither anybody will be like him.
00:15:23.580 And the world needs to see that, needs to see that.
00:15:27.660 But, you know, during the lockdowns back in 2020, when it all began, and the reason why sort of this piece of rec spoke back then, because I saw people were very quiet and not talking about what was happening in the world.
00:15:43.420 And I could see the flock were being really affected.
00:15:47.480 People called me from all over, crying over the phone.
00:15:51.040 What do we do, Bishop?
00:15:51.920 Please tell us.
00:15:53.280 I couldn't handle it anymore.
00:15:55.120 As a father, seeing my children being hurt, I had to be that loudspeaker.
00:16:03.560 People hurt me, it's okay.
00:16:05.400 But you hurt my children, you'll see a different face to that.
00:16:09.260 So let's use COVID as an example.
00:16:13.580 You spoke out loudly, render unto Caesar, as you always, as Christ said.
00:16:20.160 yeah um but that but what what's the difference here with with covid you you are very supportive
00:16:28.660 of the government you've got to live within the government laws etc etc but how do you know what
00:16:35.540 how do you because some people will look at that and go well you say live within the laws support
00:16:41.940 the government render under caesar what caesar what about you with covid because you were very
00:16:47.500 outspoken on COVID. Yes. And by the way, thank you. Oh, we thank the Lord always. I couldn't
00:16:57.660 handle the fact that my children were being hurt. And that was one of the main reasons
00:17:04.280 why I spoke. It wasn't about me. It was about my children in Christ. And the other thing,
00:17:12.500 the truth has to be said
00:17:20.080 I don't know how
00:17:22.200 this
00:17:22.680 people will react to it or what I'm about to say
00:17:26.160 but back in 2018
00:17:28.480 I was sitting
00:17:30.340 at home with my mom who
00:17:32.040 left me now and I believe she's in heaven
00:17:33.940 I was sitting with her and all of a sudden
00:17:38.320 the Lord showed me something
00:17:42.120 right in front of my eyes and a voice said in 2020 I will bring the whole world to its knees
00:17:48.280 and that was two years prior to it and then I as if I was captivated to that and then
00:17:55.940 I came out of it and then I said mom I don't know like something just went very weird here but
00:18:01.420 I believe it's the Lord he said in 2020 I will bring the whole world to its knees
00:18:06.180 in a way the lord jesus is very upset the way humanity has handled itself we've drifted away
00:18:18.060 from god in a way in a big way sometimes we can say that i'm a believer but what does it take to
00:18:25.000 be a true believer and to what extent can i be a believer and remain a believer during during
00:18:33.160 trials and tribulations, will I still remain a believer or not? Or not even that when God goes
00:18:38.920 quiet on me, will I still remain a believer? I believe the Lord is teaching us every step
00:18:45.400 of the way on how to truly believe in him, on how to truly trust in him and let him take over your
00:18:53.640 life. The most difficult thing for any human being is to let of one's self go. Let it go and let God
00:19:02.580 take and take control this i have a lot of fear of because it is obscure i don't know it's kind of
00:19:11.140 hidden i don't know what the outcome is going to be and how am i going to live if i let go
00:19:17.940 so it's so difficult for us to let go but it's a process and it's a learning curve
00:19:23.540 for all of us and i believe through difficult times on those dark tunnels the lord jesus
00:19:29.620 teaches us step by step on how God is sovereign even when we see it you know understand it in
00:19:39.080 our intellect that it's it's too late that's it it's finished it's gone but God says no nothing
00:19:44.640 is gone nothing is lost everything is according to my plan and everything is going smooth you need
00:19:50.460 to just relax and let go and let the captain lead this ship so we are we are learning along the way
00:19:59.000 but at the end of the day you know the truth must be said but with love and with confidence
00:20:04.900 like you mentioned dear Glenn there is nothing personal here I love you I respect you but the
00:20:11.600 truth must be said and you're thinking now all of a sudden I'm your enemy I'm not but what I'm
00:20:17.100 trying to say this is wrong yes we need to abide the laws of the land but the law of God will always
00:20:25.420 be above any other law this is the problem of this world and time and age it's becoming godless
00:20:32.900 as we go along the way so when you introduce god they're saying no hang on a second we are god
00:20:40.040 there is no god but where did you come from that is the dilemma that we are struggling with
00:20:46.700 yes there is the law here but jesus christ and that's what i say to all church leaders
00:20:52.580 if you are saying that this bishop is going against the law of the land are you saying that
00:20:58.820 jesus did your lord because he said to uh uh king herod he said go and tell that fox
00:21:09.000 because they came to me they said herod is after you he wants to kill you he said go and tell that
00:21:15.800 fox i am here today tomorrow and on the third day i will accomplish everything am i going to say now
00:21:21.780 jesus broke the law and went against the government now where is the balance here so we need to be
00:21:28.800 cautious see what the lord if there was anybody that respected humanity is the lord if there was
00:21:35.860 anybody that truly loved humanity is the lord if there was anybody that shed his blood for the
00:21:40.920 redemption of humanity is the lord yet the lord calls the the the government authorities authorities
00:21:48.780 fox fox means the fox sleeps in the day works at night he said his deeds are evil he's like a fox
00:21:59.860 working at night but i want him to be the child of the light not the slave of satan and that's why
00:22:08.040 the truth will always be the light and the lord jesus said and the truth shall set you free my
00:22:15.220 people have perished because of the lack of knowledge. There is a knowledge that leads to
00:22:20.000 the truth, the light, and there is a knowledge that leads to a lie, darkness. Even Winston
00:22:25.740 Churchill, the Prime Minister of Great Britain during World War II, he said this profound
00:22:30.480 statement. He said, I came to this realization that the most powerful weapon in the world is the
00:22:36.220 truth, and this is why it is quite often being surrounded by a bodyguard of lies. The time and
00:22:43.820 age we live in, the world is trying to encircle and close on the truth with a bodyguard of
00:22:51.340 lies. And the mainstream media, with all love and respect, they spread that lie where it
00:22:57.280 confuses humanity, and ending up calling the lie the truth, and the truth the lie.
00:23:04.540 I've never seen anything like it before. I've never seen anything like it. And I feel like
00:23:11.920 so many churches are just not addressing any of it.
00:23:19.080 You know, it's like they're just going through, I don't know,
00:23:23.420 the songs or the sermons, but none of it seems real right now.
00:23:29.160 Absolutely.
00:23:29.400 I saw a survey from 2010 to 2020, the global Christian population waning, 1.00
00:23:36.420 and two religions were on the rise, Muslims and none,
00:23:40.540 meaning no religion we are we are now seeing no religion is uh the third top religious affiliation
00:23:50.980 wow and those two are growing nothing else is the lord jesus said it a long time ago over 2000 years
00:23:59.120 he said when the son of man comes back again will he find faith on earth and i believe we are living
00:24:06.380 in the end of times people are not interested so much in christ and even though we invoke his holy
00:24:14.200 name like how much do we mean it it's easy it's very easy to talk about the lord but very hard to
00:24:24.500 live him it's easy to put on the cloth it's easy to stand at the pulpit and say jesus is god but
00:24:32.440 But when it costs me the I, will Jesus remain God?
00:24:37.620 Now this is a question to every Christian.
00:24:40.760 And I believe the church has become extremely lethargic when it comes to really standing up for Christ.
00:24:48.700 The Lord is not weak.
00:24:50.860 He changed the history of mankind forever.
00:24:54.520 He was a revolutionist.
00:24:56.900 He was not weak. 0.83
00:24:57.820 He stood before the authorities and called them the sons of the snake.
00:25:03.320 Where is Christ?
00:25:05.460 Now, when people say, but Jesus is all love and is all merciful,
00:25:09.820 that's one side, half the story.
00:25:12.020 It's half the truth.
00:25:13.280 Yes, that's one half of the story, but what about the other half?
00:25:17.040 The Lord is sharper than a sword.
00:25:20.600 His word is sharper than a double-edged sword.
00:25:26.200 And, yeah.
00:25:28.860 Why aren't these churches?
00:25:30.100 Why are these churches falling behind?
00:25:34.680 There was another study, I think.
00:25:36.760 Do I have it here?
00:25:37.720 I'm not sure.
00:25:40.640 That the largest churches with 500 or more in worship attendance
00:25:48.180 are the most likely to say their pastors rarely address current issues.
00:25:54.540 The smaller churches are the most likely to actually talk about current issues.
00:26:00.100 and yet the bigger churches have a bigger audience
00:26:05.980 and have a more likely chance of hitting that small group of people
00:26:09.740 that will change their lives and actually stand for something
00:26:13.600 when times get tough.
00:26:14.940 Yes, amen.
00:26:15.720 So what's happening and what has to happen?
00:26:17.680 How do we?
00:26:19.580 You know, when we read in the Gospel according to St. John
00:26:24.400 and Chapter 9 where the Lord Jesus goes to the tomb of Lazarus,
00:26:30.100 It's amazing.
00:26:32.000 The Lord says to his disciples, move the rock.
00:26:36.380 And then the Lord says a couple of words,
00:26:39.680 and the rotted body of Lazarus that was in that tomb for four days
00:26:44.040 gets up fully bandaged and walks out.
00:26:48.740 Now, Lord, which one was easier for you,
00:26:53.260 to move the rock with the word or to raise a rotted body?
00:26:57.700 I said, obviously, I could have moved the rock with the word,
00:26:59.820 but I chose to ask the disciples to move it
00:27:03.480 because what man can do, I will not interfere.
00:27:08.340 But I will never ask any man to raise the dead
00:27:10.800 because I know they can't do it.
00:27:12.600 It's only God who can.
00:27:14.300 That's why I did it.
00:27:15.660 But when I raised Lazarus, I said to them,
00:27:19.280 go and remove that bandage from the face.
00:27:24.060 When they tied that body up,
00:27:27.240 the knot usually would be at the back.
00:27:30.500 Meaning, I said to the disciples, undo those knots.
00:27:34.100 The only way to undo it is to go from behind to undo it,
00:27:38.320 so that when that cloth falls of the eyes of Lazarus,
00:27:42.260 the first person he sees is Christ, not you.
00:27:46.820 The problem with the church, we let people see us as leaders, not Christ.
00:27:54.700 I am just a vessel.
00:27:57.380 I'm not the reason for the season, as they say.
00:28:00.520 My job is to introduce the master, the teacher.
00:28:04.940 The moment I give the Lord to the flock, my job is done.
00:28:08.180 I need to disappear.
00:28:09.800 If people are going to glorify me, I'm a miserable failure as a leader.
00:28:14.480 It is the glory all ascribed to Jesus Christ of Nazareth because he owns it.
00:28:21.380 When I rob him of that glory, the church is weak because the Holy Spirit is not going to work in a place where it does not recognize and acknowledge Jesus Christ.
00:28:31.080 He is the ambassador to the king, and he will only associate himself with those who honor the king.
00:28:38.240 So when I, as a church leader, I'm honoring the king, the Holy Spirit is there.
00:28:43.900 And then the Lord says, the one who is in you is much greater than the one who is in the world.
00:28:49.880 I will fear nobody.
00:28:51.720 I love everyone, but I won't fear anybody
00:28:53.760 because whether I live, I'm living for Christ.
00:28:56.780 And if I die, I'm dying for Christ.
00:28:59.000 Whether I live or die, I am all for the Lord.
00:29:02.920 It doesn't matter anymore.
00:29:03.840 So are you optimistic that we are,
00:29:09.880 that these things can turn?
00:29:11.500 are you um the nuns um second highest we are only behind the united states of america is only behind 0.76
00:29:24.040 china with the respond no religion no belief wow that's shocking absolutely from a country that
00:29:32.080 used to really be be the religious leader or the christian leader of of the world yes now we're 0.61
00:29:39.780 only behind china that is shocking to me um are you well let me ask you this first are we at the
00:29:50.240 beginning of things middle of things end of things i don't mean end of the world i mean in the
00:29:55.560 preparation of things to come are we at the beginning middle or towards the end middle and
00:30:00.420 past the middle past the middle yeah what makes you say that because what is happening is not
00:30:08.300 happening at a local level but at a global level and it's happening so rapidly so fast it is kind
00:30:14.760 of alarming and very alarming and i believe that's one of the biggest signs of the end of times where
00:30:22.280 the lord jesus spoke of and and and and revealed to us long time ago that when things are happening
00:30:28.460 at a global level and it's definitely happening in our time and age and i think it's undeniable
00:30:34.320 but it's amazing how many good christians i know yes like that's crazy yeah absolutely what did
00:30:40.580 you expect it to look like yeah i mean isn't this what he described amen amen so the lord is
00:30:47.260 is the closest ever you know to coming and greeting his beloved once once again
00:30:53.560 so that's why i say we are in the depth of it i believe that but you know there is always an
00:31:00.200 opportunity i believe the most successful people in the world were successful because they used
00:31:07.220 crises to their own advantage yes and and psalm 23 says it so beautifully yea though i walk through
00:31:15.340 the valley of the shadow of death i will fear no evil for you are with me your start your staff
00:31:21.220 and your rod they comfort me you know the valley of the shadow of death now is there a shadow to
00:31:28.060 death yes now what is the shadow of death is hell so hell is much worse than death you see
00:31:35.520 what brought death was sin the wages of sin is death so death came because of we broke god's
00:31:42.460 word so death came because of sin but death introduced me to hell so hell is the last part
00:31:50.040 of it and it's much deeper and much more stronger than death so if somebody dies maybe they can come
00:31:56.340 back but if somebody goes to hell it is impossible to come back king david is saying jesus christ
00:32:02.900 with him the impossible became possible why because his staff and his rod when you put the
00:32:10.160 staff and the rod together you get the sign of the cross because the rod is for disciplinary action
00:32:16.880 the staff is to lean on when you're tired so there is one vertical one horizontal when you put them
00:32:23.680 together you get the cross he says with the cross even I was in the shadow of death in hell
00:32:29.380 the cross the blood that was shed on that cross brought me out of hell therefore the Lord is my
00:32:36.340 shepherd I shall not want wherever I may be whatever the situation may be the God I believe
00:32:45.320 in is much greater than any and every situation. I trust in him even if I'm left with one eye.
00:33:01.480 I don't know if anybody knows how you're going to react when the time comes, you know? And
00:33:10.360 I don't know if you ever saw the movie Saving Private Ryan. Did you ever see that?
00:33:13.720 Not all of it, yeah.
00:33:16.280 Well, there's a scene in there where one of the soldiers who, you know, you think is pretty brave.
00:33:23.640 In the heat of the battle, he folds and he hides.
00:33:28.800 And the battle, and he can save somebody.
00:33:31.780 He's just paralyzed with fear.
00:33:35.220 And most of us have never really been tested.
00:33:39.880 Never, like you have been tested, but most of us have never really been tested.
00:33:45.600 I was over in Iraq, and we were getting Christians out to safety.
00:33:53.340 And ISIS was targeting the church that we were going to be in at 7 o'clock.
00:34:02.300 And so I get there, and I'm like, so where are we going to hold this?
00:34:06.460 And they're like, I'm in the church.
00:34:08.480 And I'm like, ISIS said they were going to blow that up at seven.
00:34:11.920 And they were like, I know.
00:34:13.900 And we get to be with Jesus today.
00:34:16.220 And I'm like, well, wait, wait, wait.
00:34:18.500 I haven't been put in that situation.
00:34:20.720 I've not been there.
00:34:22.300 But all of them had been put through the test, and they were like,
00:34:26.600 I am not changing my course for evil.
00:34:31.080 And if that means I die, so I die.
00:34:33.660 And so I really, I wonder, and I pray about it a lot,
00:34:41.000 and I try to exercise courage as much as I can,
00:34:45.980 but still it's a different thing than what's coming.
00:34:49.640 How do you prepare?
00:34:51.760 How do you, because my biggest fear is when my trial comes, I flinch.
00:35:04.540 John 15 5 the Lord says you cannot do anything without me it is not our doings it's his
00:35:12.620 the Lord knows how weak we are Simon Peter also gave in when he faced death not before
00:35:20.340 and a Roman soldier before a woman because she said you're one of them you are Jesus disciple
00:35:26.620 yet in the last supper he said I'm with you till death so we are weak when we face death
00:35:32.500 everything changes the words just evaporates and we don't even remember what we said
00:35:39.000 but Christ is the never-changing God is the ever-faithful one the true savior the true
00:35:48.640 redeemer and he knows how weak and vulnerable we are that's why he always said in the new
00:35:56.640 testament do not fear i am here i am with you remember i have overcome overcome the world
00:36:05.520 i know you will be persecuted for my for my sake i know a lot of you will be killed i know a lot of
00:36:11.880 you will be deposed and and imprisoned and so many challenges will come your way that that's beyond
00:36:19.820 you but I'm with you and when the time comes I'll give you enough strength and courage
00:36:27.140 just trust in me and I'll change that weakness into strength so the Lord is good the Lord is
00:36:37.300 good so that's why I don't need to think very far and wide I just need to say this moment Lord
00:36:46.180 In your hands, I commit myself.
00:36:52.340 You talk about end times.
00:36:54.400 For anybody who doesn't know what that means, what does that mean?
00:36:59.360 When we look at the history, biblically speaking,
00:37:03.520 we see that the end times is a 2,000-year cycle.
00:37:07.260 From the time of our father Adam till Noah are the 2,000 years.
00:37:11.500 Every 2,000 years, we see something major happens on a global level.
00:37:16.180 But at the end of that cycle, we see faith starts diminishing, fear of the Lord starts diminishing.
00:37:23.680 People start living in a very sinful, dark, ugly way.
00:37:28.380 And that's why God...
00:37:29.780 I hadn't noticed. Is that happening?
00:37:31.740 I think so.
00:37:33.300 And you know what, dear Glenn, I don't know if I can say it from your magnificent platform.
00:37:39.780 And I pray that the Lord uses you to be the light to the world and the salt of the earth.
00:37:46.900 I pray for that.
00:37:48.680 We need more Glenn Beck.
00:37:51.420 We need more people.
00:37:53.000 Because the world is extremely dark.
00:37:56.080 And the light of Christ has to shine forth to decimate this darkness.
00:38:01.860 But the Lord chose people to work through them.
00:38:05.520 Yet he can do it all himself.
00:38:07.400 But that's what love is all about.
00:38:09.240 Love is not selfish.
00:38:10.760 Love is sharing and caring.
00:38:12.800 Love is collective, is not single.
00:38:14.240 I talked about it today.
00:38:16.180 as we have to start thinking of the Lord in a way
00:38:21.520 where he's down on the field, the game's already won.
00:38:25.900 Yes, amen.
00:38:26.660 And he knows that, and he's looking at us up on the bench,
00:38:30.560 and he's like, come on, this is going to be fun.
00:38:33.640 Amen.
00:38:33.980 We know how it's going to end.
00:38:36.120 He wants us.
00:38:37.220 He doesn't need us.
00:38:38.360 Absolutely.
00:38:38.720 He wants us on his team.
00:38:40.880 Very true.
00:38:41.380 And you know, if I can say this, dear Glenn,
00:38:42.860 When the Lord walked into Jerusalem on what we call Palm Sunday, he sat on a mule, on a donkey.
00:38:49.400 Why?
00:38:50.080 Because, you see, let us not forget, the Israelites lived in Egypt for 400 years.
00:38:54.420 So they became accustomed to their customary things and traditions.
00:38:58.900 So a lot of habits in the Jewish people are of Egyptian background.
00:39:04.060 Back then in Egypt, when the Pharaoh sat on a horse, that sent a message that he's about to engage in a battle. 0.83
00:39:12.860 But if he sat on a donkey, that means he won the battle.
00:39:18.640 Yes. 0.78
00:39:19.840 So when the Lord entered Jerusalem, the battle hadn't started yet.
00:39:24.440 It was a week later.
00:39:26.960 But the Lord says, with me, before the battle begins, the outcome is already determined.
00:39:34.820 V for victory.
00:39:36.620 So I will sit on a mule, not on a horse.
00:39:39.760 Because I'm the king of all kings.
00:39:41.440 with me everything is one
00:39:43.180 so don't fear
00:39:45.780 that things are in turmoil
00:39:47.520 because I can change it
00:39:49.660 in a blink of an eye
00:39:50.600 I think it's so gracious of him
00:39:53.440 in the book of Revelation
00:39:55.360 he tells us
00:39:57.560 and he says I tell you these things
00:39:59.800 so you won't be
00:40:01.220 and I think all the time
00:40:03.460 you know gosh it's
00:40:05.620 going to be bad because
00:40:06.860 there were other times that have been horrible
00:40:09.680 and he didn't say anything he's like watch for these things because it's gonna get bad but don't
00:40:17.440 worry i'm telling you so you know when you see it you know you'll remember the ending right
00:40:24.220 absolutely absolutely you see with god nothing breaks him nothing shakes him the problem is us
00:40:30.120 not him so i can i can look and i say well i'm dead i'm finished everything is out of control
00:40:36.500 you go to the Lord and says I don't know what you're talking about you know everything is fine
00:40:41.820 it's fine it's cool so we need to learn on how to trust the sovereign God obviously to the human
00:40:52.060 intellect a minute piece of dust how can I fathom the infinite yet I am so finite but the Lord says
00:41:00.960 you don't need to understand me and by the way the word understand is a compounded word it is
00:41:07.560 under the stand so I only can get what is under the stand of my intellect but guess what God will
00:41:15.060 always function and operate above the stand not under the stand so therefore when anything is
00:41:20.500 above my stand I don't get because I can only understand so God says you need to trust you have
00:41:28.180 to have faith in me and let me guide your steps in this life because I created it in the first
00:41:35.160 place I'm the only one who knows how it functions so we need to trust God more and more and more and
00:41:41.060 more and the more we entrust him with our life with our entire being the more we see his mighty
00:41:48.440 hand working so clearly in our life that no one in existence could ever come and say to me God
00:41:55.820 does not exist no one because he revealed himself to me
00:42:01.340 I not only now believe you see faith is the beginning of the road knowing is
00:42:08.900 that what the Lord wants us to get to faith got me to him but when I got to
00:42:14.000 him I came to know him not believe in him I came to know him because I'm
00:42:18.620 sitting with him now I'm talking to him now face to face
00:42:25.820 We have made relaxing complicated. You work all week. You can take a vacation, right? Then you
00:42:32.140 can pack, fly, drive, haul suitcases, sleep in a strange bed, come home needing three more days

00:42:41.460 few of the souvenirs themselves. That's why I like Chirp, the contour. It gives you an at-home

00:43:23.920 That's gochirp.com slash Beck.
00:43:28.060 I think you have the same kind of faith you have found it,
00:43:31.160 and it's so hard for people in the West to understand it.
00:43:34.340 You have the faith that I saw over in the Middle East where it is just,
00:43:40.000 and this I think is the secret to all happiness, it's just right now.
00:43:44.220 Just right now.
00:43:45.000 Amen.
00:43:45.260 Not what was past, what's in the future.
00:43:48.400 It's just right now.
00:43:50.020 Amen.
00:43:51.040 And you know, dear Glenn, all we have is right now.
00:43:55.400 If I ask somebody, how old are you?
00:43:58.280 They will say, I'm 20, I'm 40, I'm 50.
00:44:01.440 But that's not true.
00:44:03.580 Because I'm not 50 years old.
00:44:06.540 What's past is not mine anymore.
00:44:09.040 The future is not mine, hasn't come.
00:44:11.320 I'm only 24 year old.
00:44:12.880 It is today.
00:44:13.520 can I change one thing in these 24 hours to have a better future it's possible
00:44:21.440 but if I look at the bigger picture I say I don't know where to start I need to look now
00:44:29.300 to make it a lot easier for me to change what do you think that um there's this resurgence
00:44:37.980 of traditionalist everything?
00:44:41.800 I mean, the Catholic mass,
00:44:44.080 the Latin mass is coming back.
00:44:45.820 The Orthodox is strong.
00:44:49.540 What is it about the rituals or traditions
00:44:54.540 that are calling people back?
00:45:00.080 I mean, I always say this.
00:45:02.800 When the Lord Jesus promised,
00:45:05.220 while he was on earth, to his apostles,
00:45:07.320 He said, when the Holy Spirit comes from my Father in my name and dwells in you,
00:45:12.360 he will teach you all things that I have said and I have done.
00:45:16.260 And you see that in John 14, 26.
00:45:19.540 So the Holy Spirit role was going to reveal all things that Christ had said and taught
00:45:24.920 to the apostles and the church fathers who succeeded them thereafter.
00:45:31.840 So that's why when we need to go back to that history of 2,000 years
00:45:35.440 and see the promise of the Lord to the apostles and the church fathers.
00:45:39.460 And you see the church fathers had all these sacraments in the church,
00:45:44.220 you know, the sacrament of the body and the blood, you know, the Holy Eucharist.
00:45:48.660 So that was always happening throughout the history of the church.
00:45:52.380 We cannot just simply deny that history, that rich history.
00:45:56.220 And it's a promise of the Lord Jesus.
00:45:57.980 So I believe because it's the Lord's calling, we maybe have, you know,
00:46:04.180 we opened our eyes in the 21st century and maybe I got just used to something right now here,
00:46:11.600 but it wasn't that thing that started 2000 years ago. So there's maybe a void somewhere along the
00:46:19.360 way that I'm really trying to fill. So when I'm going there and I'm tasting that, I'm saying,
00:46:25.220 oh, maybe that's what was missing in my life. I needed that maybe foundational thing.
00:46:34.180 So as you can see, with my outfit, I call myself a mobile tent.
00:46:41.700 Some call me Ninja Turtle, some call me Merry Christmas when I say ho, ho, ho, how are you?
00:46:47.520 So you need to also approach these things with an open sort of mind and open heart.
00:46:55.540 I don't like being fanatic.
00:46:58.000 Fanatic is not really a reflection of the Messiah.
00:47:00.980 We cannot be religious.
00:47:03.680 You know, religious people, we become robotic
00:47:07.540 and we start putting everything under the microscope.
00:47:12.520 Christ came to give us freedom.
00:47:15.440 I want to experience that freedom.
00:47:18.420 I want to be free.
00:47:19.300 This outfit is not going to chain me
00:47:22.920 and it's not going to make me different to Glenn.
00:47:26.680 No, this outfit is just filling that picture
00:47:31.260 and completing that picture i believe michelangelo with all his uh you know beautiful artistry work
00:47:39.320 if he had given him just one color he wouldn't have come up with a you know a magnificent
00:47:45.080 portrait but if you give him all the colors and when he combines them all i believe you see
00:47:50.960 something you know amazing christ is beautiful in all the colors but christ laid the foundation
00:48:00.140 I need to come to that foundation and build on it, not try to change it, but build on
00:48:05.640 that foundation.
00:48:06.860 So tradition in the church is biblically based.
00:48:09.760 It is not sort of man-made.
00:48:11.600 No, it is biblically based.
00:48:13.820 And that's why Christ laid that foundation and the church fathers, by the grace of the
00:48:19.960 Lord, built on that foundation.
00:48:22.420 And I always say, you cannot call the foundation a house, but without a foundation, there cannot
00:48:28.360 be a house.
00:48:28.960 I don't even know if I should ask you this question
00:48:38.380 but I'd like your guidance
00:48:41.560 so I don't feel backed into this
00:48:45.500 if I can 1.00
00:48:47.780 Islam is sweeping 1.00
00:48:54.580 sweeping
00:48:55.940 and there are those who say
00:48:58.960 it's not a threat
00:49:00.160 but
00:49:02.260 if you just look at history
00:49:05.080 you see 0.96
00:49:06.240 what Sharia law does
00:49:08.640 and I believe it is
00:49:12.580 it's not a phobia
00:49:14.000 it's irrational
00:49:15.220 I don't have an irrational fear of something
00:49:17.540 I can recognize
00:49:18.980 but I still believe there's lots of
00:49:22.400 really good people that don't want to do that
00:49:24.560 that. So it's not about the whole religion. But there are people that are trying to get
00:49:35.360 you to believe that it's the same God.
00:49:47.780 can never change even if you wanted to it is impossible there are so many titles to God
00:49:56.760 God is holy God is light God is everlasting God is almighty when we invoke the name the word holy
00:50:05.840 holy means never changing that's what it truly means in its essence so holy means the way he
00:50:14.580 is inside is exactly the way he's outside the reason why we are as humans not holy because
00:50:21.140 sometimes what we say is not what we mean so my heart says one thing but my lips says something
00:50:28.060 else so god is holy he can never change and since he can never change so when he gave his word
00:50:36.840 that that word cannot be one thing here and totally something else elsewhere it cannot
00:50:44.520 simply cannot as a christian i cannot sort of judge to say if you are not christian you're
00:50:53.000 not going to make it to heaven that's being judgmental judgment is to god only not to me
00:50:58.640 but as a christian i can say with absolute confidence no one makes it to heaven without
00:51:04.260 Jesus Christ and I'll say it loud and clear Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven but will Jesus 0.93
00:51:12.580 bring non-Christians to his heaven that's his calling not mine but heaven without Christ it 0.82
00:51:20.040 is impossible to reach by any human being whether we're Christians or not but God can never change
00:51:26.180 so his word is eternal that's why God doesn't talk a lot because God is infinite until he speaks
00:51:35.220 then he becomes limited to what he says why because now he has to fulfill what he says
00:51:41.140 we are free until we speak and make a decision then we are limited to what decision we made
00:51:49.200 but as long as I never made that decision I'm already I'm all I'm free but the moment I decided
00:51:54.680 on something i don't have that privilege of freedom anymore i'm limited to that decision
00:51:59.280 that's why god said what he said in history and even if he comes today and speaks and he does
00:52:05.380 speak because god is omniscient omnipresent so he will always talk but he will never ever
00:52:14.840 add or subtract to what he said in the bible never as a christian the only true word of god
00:52:24.120 is the holy bible nothing else i live for this i die for this
00:52:28.840 you know when i when christ found me we never find him he finds us so when christ found me
00:52:40.740 i say this and may the lord forgive me i don't mean it but let's assume for a moment if there
00:52:47.340 was another god and better than jesus christ i don't want to know him for me christ suffices
00:52:54.080 for me Christ is my utopian world in him everything that I lack I find in him I find home I find
00:53:04.380 safety I find security I find love I find mercy I find forgiveness I find perfection I find glory
00:53:11.940 I find honor I find identity I find dignity I find everything and much more than that
00:53:19.100 so once Christ found me I stopped searching you know why people search dear Glenn if we think
00:53:29.380 about it we what drives us to search is one thing I had something before and I lost it
00:53:39.700 and now I'm searching for it I'll never search for something I never had in the first place
00:53:45.640 because my intellect is not that big to search for something I never had so the only way I'm
00:53:52.640 able to search is I had something I lost it but because I lost it I don't know how it looks now
00:54:00.020 it's been a long time so I lost that presence of God in the garden of Eden where he placed me
00:54:06.880 initially now the word Eden in the Aramaic which I speak the language of the Lord the Aramaic
00:54:12.960 language eden can mean two things aden it's in aramaic it's called aden aden that's a proper
00:54:20.520 pronunciation aden aden means praising thanksgiving all these kind of things but it also means a
00:54:28.720 moment it comes from the word adana adana means a moment what is eden it is a moment when i am in
00:54:36.940 the presence of the almighty God. And when we are in his presence, that's when we are joyous,
00:54:44.160 happy, fulfilled. The moment we lose that moment, there is no more life, no more joy,
00:54:50.920 no more happiness. Materialistic things do not give me that. Money can provide comfort,
00:54:59.500 but cannot provide peace. A house can provide a shelter, but cannot provide eternal security.
00:55:06.180 successful life can can provide recognition but it cannot provide me resurrection
00:55:14.140 so therefore i need to be in the presence in that moment when i am in the presence of the lord
00:55:21.700 when i'm in that presence i don't search anymore when we lost that presence
00:55:27.680 the human race started searching ever since started searching for this perfect world
00:55:35.440 so we started coming up with so many things in the hope that we will go back to what we lost
00:55:43.380 initially so we came up with all these ideologies marxism you know communism
00:55:51.620 existentialism democracy and the more we searched and we started talking about human rights and
00:56:00.900 human rights and the more we spoke about democracy and human rights the more humans became enslaved
00:56:06.820 to the very freedom that we are searching for because freedom is not a human invention it is
00:56:13.480 God's and the only time I am truly free when I find that moment where I am in the presence of
00:56:23.160 the almighty God this God for me his name is Jesus Christ of Nazareth I can't live without him
00:56:30.300 And I will never choose to live without him.
00:56:33.560 And if there is another God, I'll say to that God with all love and respect, thanks, but no thanks.
00:56:41.080 Turning 65 feels like you've been dropped into a constant stream of mailers, calls, ads,
00:56:46.960 everybody telling you something different about Medicare.
00:56:49.920 Most of it just makes things more confusing because, I mean, this is a decision.
00:56:55.120 It's about your health care and people are all competing for your business.
00:56:59.780 You need somebody who cares about you and not pay for a plan that doesn't fit your life.
00:57:05.280 That's where Chapter comes in.
00:57:06.860 They don't just hand you options and then, you know, leave you to make a decision that you're confused by.
00:57:11.780 They look at your doctors and your prescriptions, your needs, and they help you find the plan that actually fits you.
00:57:17.180 Over the last year, they've helped people in this audience save over a million and a half dollars just by finding better-fitting plans.
00:57:24.560 And sometimes it's not even about money.
00:57:25.980 I heard about a guy named Mark.
00:57:27.860 Chapter stepped in, helped him get the care he needed.
00:57:30.180 He called them absolutely spectacular.
00:57:32.100 So give them a call.
00:57:32.780 It's free.
00:57:33.700 They've helped thousands in this audience.
00:57:35.340 They can help you.
00:57:36.040 Dial pound 250, say the keyword chapter.
00:57:38.040 That's pound 250, keyword chapter.
00:57:42.720 We just, my family, just took my family to Jerusalem.
00:57:46.700 Yes.
00:57:47.220 And I took them, I took my kids.
00:57:50.140 They're in their 20s.
00:57:51.320 God missed them.
00:57:51.900 I wanted them, I wanted them to see it.
00:57:55.720 I wanted them to feel it.
00:57:57.640 I wanted them to be where he was, to see.
00:58:01.140 These stories are not just in a book,
00:58:02.760 and they're not spread all over the world.
00:58:04.520 It happens right here in a very small space.
00:58:08.680 And both my kids prayed for an experience with him.
00:58:15.700 And my daughter, she's like, I heard him.
00:58:21.800 Yeah, I heard him.
00:58:22.240 Wow.
00:58:22.520 and my son and I hear this from people all the time because God sometimes at
00:58:28.940 least this is I mean I could get to the other side and he's like that wasn't me
00:58:32.300 dude that was all you but I feel like he speaks to me you know and I hear him
00:58:38.520 and I have met so many great great good people and they're like I've never heard
00:58:46.140 I've prayed my whole life, and I've never felt that.
00:58:52.560 That's what my son said.
00:58:53.940 And he was like, what's wrong with me?
00:58:57.040 Is there something wrong with me?
00:58:58.300 Why, Dad, do you feel you hear him?
00:59:01.520 And I beg him for that experience, and I don't.
00:59:09.720 We will never fully understand how God operates.
00:59:13.700 and we need just to trust him
00:59:17.840 because he deals with every single one of us
00:59:20.940 in accordance to what kind of a substance we are
00:59:24.260 and what kind of a level God is wanting us to reach.
00:59:29.660 So in that way, he deals with us.
00:59:34.040 So sometimes God will go very quiet
00:59:36.280 and no matter what I do
00:59:37.860 and how hard I try, absolute silence.
00:59:41.760 silence. It is total disconnection. And then I start doubting, does really God care about
00:59:48.140 me anymore? Has he gone and left me? He walked away from me. And he's proving it. I don't
00:59:55.320 hear him. I don't see him. But he is the closest, the closest of the closest ever to any human
01:00:02.720 being. I always say to people, to faithfuls and to all, see this breath that you take
01:00:10.120 and you don't even take notice of it.
01:00:12.520 If I ask somebody, how many times did you inhale and exhale?
01:00:16.360 I don't know.
01:00:17.820 In a day, in an hour, I don't know.
01:00:20.220 But this breath is the breath to your very life.
01:00:24.720 Christ says, I am this breath.
01:00:28.320 So why are you saying, where are you, God?
01:00:31.880 But you see, God doesn't want us to remain at a kindergarten level
01:00:37.200 in our spiritual life.
01:00:38.620 you know at the beginning that baby can i just say yes sir how i said to my son son i am convinced
01:00:47.780 that the lord talks to me because i might be the slower one in the class and he's like
01:00:53.680 you gotta be clear with this one you know what i mean it's not necessarily it's not necessarily
01:01:00.040 like a yeah any hierarchy it's just like i really believe he's like he won't get it unless he
01:01:06.800 shouted at him absolutely and it's exactly like this you know when a couple have their their baby
01:01:11.980 the first baby that baby is 100 focused on from one hand to the other from one lap to the other
01:01:19.300 we feed him we clothe him we change them but then when the baby grows older the parents pull back
01:01:27.200 because I want my baby to walk on their own I want my baby to go out and experience life
01:01:33.860 on their own. I want them to be strong enough. They can't be that baby crying for mom and dad
01:01:41.440 always. It is not healthy. It is not good. God chose David. God chose David, but he went through
01:01:51.660 hell to be king. Because unless you're a real man, I'm not going to entrust you with my nation.
01:01:57.520 if you're mommy's boy and i give you my nation you will ruin it i i need to make a man out of 0.97
01:02:04.700 you and the only way i make a man out of you you need to walk through hell but don't fear i'm with 0.98
01:02:10.780 you yeah though i walk through the valley of the shadow of death i will free no evil for you are
01:02:15.540 with me but i have to so how am i going to experience pressure how am i going to experience
01:02:22.020 hardships how am i going to experience tease and brokenness and loneliness how god has to make me
01:02:31.300 feel that he's left me behind but he's the breath of this very life he hasn't i'm always with you
01:02:38.060 my son it's beautiful yeah it's beautiful always can you tell me you just you founded the good
01:02:43.380 Samaritan foundation what what do you do the Good Samaritan and what a beautiful
01:02:51.780 title the Good Samaritan that came to the rescue of that man who was thrown
01:02:55.980 on the side of the road and who the Samaritan was supposed to hate yes yeah
01:03:02.700 and you know and we call we call the Lord the Good Samaritan because the word
01:03:07.920 good only refers to God there is no good but there's no one good but God and the
01:03:12.920 word samaritan means stranger god came to his own creation the world and he was a total stranger
01:03:18.800 in his own world he said the birds of the sky have a nest to settle in and the and the foxes
01:03:24.640 homes but the son of man the creator of this world and the next have no place to lay his head on
01:03:30.200 so the good samaritan is a is a non-for-profit charity we've established in australia around
01:03:37.740 10 years ago and we do a lot of charitable deeds you know reaching out
01:03:44.340 to people who are you know less fortunate if I can say this who are
01:03:47.860 struggling in life on a day-to-day basis and in recent years there was a call
01:03:54.540 that came from Syria they said there is from a nun in Syria and said there is
01:04:01.300 12 children at different families, of course, the parents are so poor, they cannot feed their
01:04:10.440 children anymore. And they're afraid to hand them over to the government because they don't know
01:04:14.820 what will happen to them. So they asked us, can we help them financially for the kids, for the
01:04:19.820 children to remain with their parents? So we said, obviously we will. So we started with 12 children,
01:04:24.940 to cut it short and after three years we're looking after 3,000 people in 10 to 12 different
01:04:31.740 countries worldwide every single month and we want to grow on this and you know what Glenn from
01:04:39.520 a teenager I used to cry out to the Lord Jesus I say Lord I don't want nothing but please put me
01:04:47.260 wherever there is a homeless wherever somebody is left in the street afflicted forgotten I never
01:04:53.080 wanted this outfit till this moment i don't want it i just want to be the lord we be with the lord
01:04:58.520 i want to be wherever there is somebody saying i don't have no one i want to be there i just
01:05:04.680 want to say don't worry my beloved brother christ loves you
01:05:23.080 I'm really sorry.
01:05:30.680 No, you should not apologize.
01:05:34.120 You know, the Lord is too good.
01:05:37.240 It's beautiful.
01:05:38.620 It's beautiful.
01:05:39.240 so um sorry no
01:05:55.320 i i i'm the waterworks so you don't have to ever apologize for that
01:06:03.180 so um we went on a missionary work last year to lebanon uh to turkey uh to to we went to syria
01:06:15.380 to jordan to just to meet the people and this was heaven for me even though what i witnessed
01:06:24.780 was heartbreaking and heart shattering but it was heaven because that's where the lord truly is
01:06:31.080 i i suffocate when it's when it's when there's protocols and formalities i can't i you know
01:06:40.980 people come up and say what do we address you are your bishop is his grace i say listen you want to
01:06:47.080 call me friend brother father whatever whatever makes you happy whatever makes you comfortable
01:06:51.300 we are human beings at the end of the day this outfit should never make me forget that i'm a
01:06:55.820 human and the lord says the higher you go up the more servant you need to be so anyway we went there
01:07:01.900 and we met these beautiful people you know they had nothing but their faith was moving mountains
01:07:08.440 moving mountains and i was speechless i thought i had faith they left me for dead
01:07:14.060 i experienced the same thing over there they left me for dead so the good samaritan aid society
01:07:21.100 is reaching out to people and we don't differentiate christians non-christians
01:07:27.840 i always said it and i've and i always say it i said the lord never asks you if your
01:07:33.920 if your identity card what are you who's who is your dad and what's your tribe and where
01:07:40.560 you come from no we are humans um
01:07:44.520 mother theresa in the streets of calcutta was approached by this journalist and he said and 0.57
01:07:54.480 she said to her mother why are you looking after this leper she said my son don't you know he said
01:07:59.780 no that's why i'm asking you mother she said my son haven't you heard what the lord jesus said 0.99
01:08:04.500 said i was hungry and you fed me i was thirsty and you quenched my thirst i was sick and you
01:08:10.300 came and visited me i was naked and you clothed me she said my son i'm not looking after this
01:08:16.080 leper i'm looking after my lord who is in this leper he is the image and the likeness of my god
01:08:22.800 and isn't my god worthy of my voluntary service what christ had done for me on the cross no matter
01:08:30.960 what i do i can never pay him back but all i can say to him lord thank you because i don't know
01:08:38.080 what else to tell you when we can't pay someone back the only word that is left
01:08:43.420 for us to do is thank you so I'm thanking the Lord to allow me to look
01:08:49.300 after this leper so we went and we saw the people there and amazing people
01:08:56.560 beautiful people and and for me this is my life how do people get involved with
01:09:03.100 you if they want to we we have uh our website um um it's uh www.jesus which is g-s-a-s and the
01:09:15.900 abbreviation it sounds like jesus you know and i love it so i call it jesus so g-s-a-s um g-s-a-s
01:09:24.280 dot org dot au which is for australia so they can go to that website we have a flyer there as well
01:09:30.680 and they can donate.
01:09:32.660 They can be a sponsor, an ongoing sponsor.
01:09:36.040 And I would encourage people if they can, whatever,
01:09:38.600 if it's a dollar, five dollars, whatever they can.

01:10:21.700 and they were humble and gracious and kind
01:10:26.540 and they felt things so deeply.
