00:00:52.720 miss a second on he's now co-chair on a presidential council outspoken political voice when he doesn't
00:00:59.720 have to he's a man who has undergone an unimaginable journey and a friend please welcome herschel walker
00:01:08.080 herschel how are you man i'm doing well is this good uh this is my last day of covid quarantine
00:01:29.980 uh the family had it and so today's my last day i can't believe i'm in my house and you're
00:01:35.380 like four doors down and you're in your house but uh good to see you yeah good to see you i
00:01:41.980 walked over to your house and stayed in another room
00:01:45.180 yeah uh so i have so many questions you are a fascinating guy i want you to know first of all
00:01:54.020 i don't know anything about sports and so i've got i've got a couple of questions uh that i had my staff
00:02:00.440 come up with you know if you have herschel walker on you you got to talk about sports i know nothing
00:02:04.920 about it but i know your name uh you know that says something to me a guy who's completely oblivious
00:02:11.940 to sports uh i know i know uh that that's what people probably know you best for but i don't think
00:02:21.940 that begins to tell the story of you at all uh you're a bobsledder uh you're a wildly successful
00:02:30.420 businessman as well uh i mean i i if you don't mind i just kind of want to run through your life
00:02:37.400 a little bit and just kind of get a snapshot of you and and how you did all of this
00:02:45.120 well you know i i think the problem i think people have with me is that uh they think that i am an
00:02:52.940 athlete and i said guys i didn't grow up and this is honest truth i didn't grow up uh watching sports
00:02:59.140 i didn't grow up uh wanting to be an athlete and today i would still tell you i think i'm a good
00:03:04.980 competitor i don't know whether you can say i'm an athlete but i'm a i'm a very very good competitor
00:03:09.660 i will compete on any in a level i don't care what it is that may be the reason that i've had
00:03:14.740 success at a lot of different areas because yeah i think when you go out and work you work hard like
00:03:19.800 you're the best at what you do and you work at it yeah it ain't like it just happens and that's
00:03:24.440 what i tell people right if i'm gonna do something i'm gonna go work at it and i'm gonna work as hard
00:03:29.500 as anyone else and i'm gonna get better at it so let me let me start because i think there is something
00:03:37.680 to the way you were bullied when you were a kid the things that you have overcome you've overcome in
00:03:44.420 your life that uh i think may have led to this attitude of i'm just going to be successful i'm
00:03:52.380 just going to overcome because you had a speech impediment and you were a fat kid right yes yeah
00:03:58.800 my mom said i was big boned i wasn't fat i was big boned right but uh yeah you know what's funny is uh
00:04:06.860 you know uh i also was raised in a church uh and my mom would always tell me because i remember when
00:04:14.160 a doctor told my mom and my dad that i would never be anything and this is coming from a doctor
00:04:19.340 because as a little boy like i was saying i was overweight i had these knots on my knees i could
00:04:25.480 barely walk and having a speech impediment i was a goofy little kid and the doctor told my parents
00:04:33.180 you know uh you know he's gonna be okay you know just keep him comfortable he'll be all right
00:04:37.440 and i remember getting in the car driving home and my mom turned to me and she said my nickname is bo
00:04:44.580 and she said uh bo uh don't worry about it because he is not the true doctor and i didn't know what
00:04:51.380 she meant by that and she said you know you're not going to use excuses in life and i remember
00:04:57.140 getting beat up my last day of school in the eighth grade i remember by this kid by the name
00:05:00.880 anthony and logan i still remember his name i remember getting beat up by him
00:05:04.000 and all the kids started so funny they laughed at me and i was crying and stuff and i remember getting
00:05:10.160 home and i still remember the voice said nothing's enough as no one else ever beat me up again and no
00:05:18.500 one would ever put me in the corner again because you know i had teachers that put me in the corner
00:05:23.280 because i had a speech impediment they thought i could never learn so i went out on my own and start
00:05:28.480 training i went and started getting books out of the library start reading my speech got a little
00:05:34.280 bit better i got bigger and i started feeling good about who i was and i went back to school and
00:05:40.440 almost with these blinders on that what kids was amazed about me is that i can run faster than anyone now
00:05:49.380 i can and i was i was y'all valenture in my class and now people are amazed at this kid
00:05:54.800 it was nothing it changed almost overnight but it was a whole summer but that's what you call
00:06:01.080 dedication and that's why i tell people today and then you know this if you want something you got
00:06:07.200 to dedicate yourself to go get it that's what's sad about going on in this country today people want
00:06:14.400 something but they don't want to dedicate themselves to work to make it change they think they can take
00:06:18.820 it from someone and that's the reason i get so angry because i know it takes work you know it
00:06:24.600 takes work to go out to and you know everybody want to be uh i remember everybody want to be stephen
00:06:29.740 curry every kid in the in the in the inner city every kid in america want to be stephen curry
00:06:35.540 or tiger wood and i said guys have y'all seen them when they were three years old when that dad had
00:06:42.940 something like that shooting a basket or hitting a golf ball this is just happening overnight you know
00:06:48.220 these people have trained over and over again and you know prime example you know i've been in
00:06:55.340 martial arts for almost 40 something years i'm a 50 degree black belt in taekwondo uh when i was in
00:07:03.200 college i used to fight in uh martial arts tournaments uh on sundays after tour i would play saturdays
00:07:10.380 go to church sunday morning and i fought in martial arts tournament sunday afternoon
00:07:14.740 well in my upper age i'm not going to say how old i was i want to get into the mma world
00:07:20.000 and people are like no you can't do that you can't do that i said no i can do that
00:07:23.580 well i uh decided that uh i had this friend by the name of scott coker who was running uh at that time
00:07:30.240 he was running uh oh uh oh gee that's right well he brought me to california and he uh you know
00:07:38.840 i'm a taekwondo 50 degree black belt taekwondo and he matched me up with five different disciplines
00:07:43.880 an mma guy and i did okay i did okay i'm not gonna say i was great i did okay and he said uh herschel
00:07:51.500 if you don't if you'll dedicate yourself by going to a great gym i'll get you a fight
00:07:58.140 well for almost nine to ten months i went out to san jose california went to aka
00:08:05.460 and train with some of the best fighters in the world i gotta get ready to fight for the world
00:08:10.240 championship again daniel corme who's my wrestling coach kane velasquez some of the best fighters in
00:08:15.480 the world for almost nine and a half months almost six days a week almost nine hours a day
00:08:23.040 and i gotta fight but i'm gonna tell you right now if i had not gone to that camp even though i was a
00:08:31.700 fifth degree black belt and taekwondo would have gotten destroyed and i said you have to dedicate
00:08:36.820 yourself if you want to be good now if you don't want to be good it's okay it's okay if you don't
00:08:42.180 want it it's okay if you want something you've never had you have to do something you've never done
00:08:50.500 uh and a lot of times that's just working i know a lot of people that you know would like this job or
00:08:57.580 this this life or that celebrities no you really don't because uh when you really look into it
00:09:05.340 there's too much work for people there's just you know i've right i i've been trying to paint and i've
00:09:14.260 been taking lessons and i work you know in the middle of the night sometimes i'll get up and i'll
00:09:20.540 just work on my painting uh because you know it's it's not even a second job it's just a love
00:09:26.860 but i want to be good at it and most people just aren't willing to sacrifice the time and the effort
00:09:35.620 to really get good at something no and and that's true you know i i tell people this you know people
00:09:42.080 laugh because i'm not a weightlifter i never i didn't lift weights you know i didn't grow up in an
00:09:47.500 area that had a great weight program and i remember my mom and dad telling me not to make excuses in
00:09:54.000 life so i started doing thousands of push-ups and sit-ups and all that and people laugh like it's a
00:09:59.960 joke and i said guys my problem i got is i don't have uh 500 pounds of weights that i can go out and
00:10:07.340 try to lift to compete against those guys that i'm gonna have to compete against but what i do have
00:10:13.220 is i got a floor and i got a couple of trees that i can climb and do chin-ups on tree limb
00:10:19.220 so when those people that have been lifting 500 pounds show up to compete against herschel walker
00:10:25.140 i'm gonna know i will be your hunkerberry because i'm not gonna lay down for anyone and i will work
00:10:31.560 my tail off to show them and you know how hot it get here in texas it get 100 100 degrees well do you
00:10:38.360 know i used to run with a full warm-up suit when there's 102 degrees out and people used to laugh
00:10:44.340 like he's crazy i said no no no i gotta play football next year so i'm not gonna be playing
00:10:50.500 against your grandma i'm not playing against your grandpa i'm playing some of the best athletes
00:10:55.480 in the world and they don't like herschel walker and i said i want them to know i don't like them either
00:11:01.060 and so that's the reason i work the way i work but that's what you call dedication but i tell people
00:11:06.340 some people you don't have to do it you know it's like right now everybody want to sit on the couch
00:11:11.240 and tell people what they need to do is that not funny everybody wants to sit on the couch and tell
00:11:15.260 you how it's supposed to be and i said no why don't you dedicate yourself and then then you can tell me
00:11:20.860 how it's supposed to be like yes and not to be mean but sort of like i didn't vote but i'm gonna tell
00:11:27.780 you how the president should be ran right you vote right hey i didn't vote but i'm mad
00:11:34.160 you gotta vote yeah do something yeah so herschel do you think i mean you you had severe difficulty
00:11:46.600 with weight and your speech when you were young uh was it really over a summer just one summer where
00:11:54.660 you turned that around uh it was it was uh not the summer of from the eighth to the ninth grade but
00:12:02.620 you know uh glenn i've worked i'm trying i i uh that summer you know i tell people i was doing
00:12:08.520 about 5 000 sit-ups 5 000 push-ups every day and it may have been more because you know i love
00:12:14.600 television so i may have started like at seven o'clock at night and during every commercial of a
00:12:20.580 tv show i would do push-ups i do sit-ups and then in the mornings i'm up where i'm climbing trees
00:12:25.620 doing chin-ups on a tree limb and then i'm out when my father was a farmer i'd get out and run in this
00:12:31.520 field i'm like this is every day like seven days a week you know i would go to church sunday morning
00:12:37.200 and then i go out uh in avenue i'm out there working out so it wasn't that uh and i'm like
00:12:44.840 this is every day and this is what i tell people today i've worked out every day of my life now since
00:12:50.660 i was 12 years old i never miss a day of workout and people say your body gotta rest
00:12:55.520 and i said yeah it may but i but i'm fine i'm healthy as a horse i feel good and so i don't i
00:13:02.780 don't argue with people you know i i just go by how i horse and walker feel i i i will tell you that uh
00:13:11.320 have you ever met tony robbins you know tony robbins yes that guy is the same way he he gets up
00:13:19.080 no matter what every single day he goes into a plunge pool i think it's like 55 degrees or 50 degrees
00:13:26.400 something like that cold um and and he forces himself to do it he never takes a day off because
00:13:34.160 as he told me he said i have to tell my body i'm in charge of you you're not in charge of me
00:13:42.080 and that's exactly right they're right there's something there's really something to that
00:13:48.160 it is and i'll tell people this if you quit one time you're going to quit the rest of your life
00:13:54.320 when you have a workout and you say okay today i'm going to do like four miles and then i'm gonna
00:14:00.940 do an exercise bike maybe 15 miles and then i'm going to go out and maybe do something if you don't
00:14:07.920 finish you're going to quit every day the rest of your life and i said i don't care if you have to
00:14:14.280 walk to finish the four miles i don't care if you have to go slower to finish this fight at least
00:14:21.880 finish the distance you say you're going to do because if you don't today it's going to be easier

00:16:03.820 difficulties do you think no i'm yeah because i i mean i'm an alcoholic and i've had you know my
00:16:12.060 yeah it changes you if if you can conquer whatever it is uh you are a stronger better person
00:16:21.960 i i am and i tell people uh you know the kid that beat me up i said i love to see him today and people
00:16:29.520 say oh when you beat him up i said no no no i probably thank him i probably thank him because
00:16:34.180 he didn't just beat me up he woke me up but you know later in life i have problems because of that
00:16:39.480 because i didn't deal with it and the same thing as you were talking about you being an alcoholic
00:16:44.780 you know sometimes you uh you you put those things to a side you don't deal with that problem
00:16:50.700 but once you've dealt with it and you've gone through it you understand it because you've been
00:16:56.400 on that side now now you know how to be stronger it makes you stronger i i again i don't know anything
00:17:03.900 about sports so please i'm going to butcher this story but um uh michael jordan when he was inducted
00:17:11.200 into the hall of fame uh shocking how he used that moment to call out all of the people who had
00:17:20.020 done him wrong and he was still kind he was carrying that with him where you know i i personally think
00:17:28.120 a more enlightened person and it shocks me that michael jordan was fueled on that anger um you would
00:17:36.340 get to that point and you'd be like you helped me because you said i couldn't do it i thank you for
00:17:44.580 saying that because right i did do it you drove me well you know that's that's that's it you know
00:17:52.880 when you say that it brought tears to my eyes because you know in my life i use my anger as my coping
00:17:59.660 mechanism through athletics and almost everything i ever done i used it as my coping mechanism but i put it
00:18:06.220 back in the bike back here and i went out and conquered everything everything i ever competed in
00:18:11.240 i've wanted and and i didn't deal with it and then when i uh got out of sports now it's being displayed
00:18:20.700 in my house and on the streets and people thought herschel walker was crazy and i'm thinking wait a
00:18:26.220 minute herschel can't be crazy because why i got a problem it's not me and i later come to find out
00:18:33.420 it was me and that's why i used that i said that you know that anger that i had helped me to overcome
00:18:40.380 so much but i didn't deal with it you know all that pain i had i didn't deal with that pain
00:18:45.380 so i used that pain as my coping mechanism to overcome and i said so what i did i ended up going
00:18:52.640 to a hospital people don't even know herschel walker went to a behavior health hospital you used to call
00:18:56.900 it crazy hospital back in the day but you can't say that today because hr getting kind of managed
00:19:01.620 but i went to a behavior health hospital and uh i went to this hospital and i started thinking
00:19:08.760 everybody in this hospital is crazy except herschel walker because you know i played football
00:19:13.180 won all these awards i was valentine in my class i was working problem and then uh it hit me that we
00:19:20.000 all fall short of the glory of god we thought that was a young woman in there that was going through
00:19:24.700 what i was going through i was diagnosed with having this dissociative identity disorder
00:19:28.480 and that's like right that that used to be called i think schizophrenia or or uh
00:19:35.860 split personalities like a civil it was almost like that is crazy and uh and i'm thinking that
00:19:44.860 crazy i know i'm not civil because i've seen that tv show and i'm thinking i know i'm not that person
00:19:51.140 and as i look back over my life glenn this is what'll freak you out i look back over my life
00:19:56.800 and i write and journal all the time you know i'll win a heisman trophy nfl russian title nfl
00:20:04.140 fastest man on olympic team all the great things i ever done i journal all the time
00:20:09.260 well all my journaling that i wrote was all sad it was all anger i never i never read this stuff
00:20:17.200 and it scared me to death i never talked about joy all i talked about the pain
00:20:21.820 and i said you know what's going on with me well what was going on is i was angry all the time
00:20:28.740 so going to that and that was a young lady that was being abused by her husband her husband was
00:20:35.600 beating on her and when i first got into the hospital she gave me a different name than who
00:20:40.480 she was and when she trusted me she gave me the right name and the doctor said her husband
00:20:44.580 is because she was being abused and to protect herself she became another person well i didn't
00:20:51.820 like that guy kids were picking on i don't like that guy kids were beating up so remember i became
00:20:57.580 this incredible huck person that can do some amazing things run faster jump or jump higher i can do all
00:21:04.480 these amazing things so i didn't deal with all this pain you know some people may use alcohol they
00:21:09.060 may use drugs they may use cutting or overeating as a coping mechanism because they don't want to deal
00:21:13.520 with all the stress in their life sure and that's right when i went to this hospital i realized that
00:21:18.440 that's what was going on with me but now but wait but but hang on just a second but a split personality
00:21:24.860 disorder it is to protect you your core from the pain if i understand it right um but it's it's the way
00:21:33.600 you're describing it is um a little confusing to me because it it um there's a lot of people um that
00:21:42.820 have used pain to you know comedy is fueled by pain etc etc but you but you had the dissociated
00:21:50.400 disassociated uh personality right so well you didn't know you were doing these things did you
00:21:58.400 yeah let me help you understand it okay some people can deal with it and you never know it's
00:22:03.720 any different it's sort of like leaving home with the wrong hat on and this will help you to understand
00:22:08.840 what i'm talking about you know i i i work with young men and women today in the military
00:22:14.760 we take our young men and women today from these from america the greatest country in the world
00:22:20.880 where they may grow up in my little hometown like wrightfield georgia
00:22:24.400 well they don't hear gunshots bombs going on all this crazy stuff that's happening
00:22:30.100 well also we take them and send them over to these terrible terrible countries where every night
00:22:37.080 because i've been over there where you hear a bomb go off you hear gunshots you hear all this stuff
00:22:43.780 going they're not on that you have all these different smells all this stuff is happening and
00:22:48.100 then you send them outside this wire and this is what i want america to hear you send them outside this
00:22:53.160 wire into an area where they never know if they're coming back they never know if their head going to
00:22:57.480 be blown off but yet they go out and do their job then they come back within that wire where they say
00:23:04.860 but you hear the gunshot you're all nervous you don't know what you're going to do well that person
00:23:09.120 that leave inside that wire to go outside the wire may become someone else to survive because let me
00:23:15.540 tell you the average person can't take that some people can't handle that but some people can't but
00:23:21.200 the one that can't handle it doesn't mean they're crazy right i mean well but they they what they
00:23:26.240 did they became someone else so they could deal with that fear they became someone else they could
00:23:32.300 deal with that fear sort of like this is what's going to freak you out do you know i'm afraid to speak
00:23:36.960 you're afraid to speak yeah i am really really around a crowd of people and people know they
00:23:46.300 me as one of the uh top 100 way top whatever whatever speakers in the country but i'm scared
00:23:52.760 to death to speak i'm afraid afraid to cry but i tell people this i got a personality inside of me
00:23:58.760 that can handle that
00:23:59.660 i said that's what happened it's not that that it just that i didn't like that fat little stuttering
00:24:12.560 kid that was growing up i didn't like you yeah yeah i didn't like it so i became this hope
00:24:18.520 so i went out and conquer stuff i became this guy they become valenture in my class i became this uh
00:24:25.520 so go ahead you had to you you at some point you find yourself in the hospital you have to deal with
00:24:34.420 that and put it right otherwise it will eventually destroy you right you're exactly right i'm gonna tell
00:24:41.040 you something that's gonna freak you out people get nervous about it i said you know i'm gonna tell
00:24:46.020 you something that people don't know about her so i'm a christian i love my lord jesus christ i love
00:24:51.500 jesus my and i and that's the reason that today i speak what i speak i speak about it about what's
00:24:58.080 going on in this country people can dislike me they can call me names but my lord jesus christ said
00:25:03.560 he without sin cast the first stone you know how do you ask your fellow father to forgive you if you
00:25:09.720 can't forgive your fellow man so my thing is we all fall short of glory of god well what i had to do
00:25:17.580 is deal with what was going on with me i knew i'm not perfect i used to take a gun if people came to
00:25:26.640 my house to compete against me i was so screwed up glenn probably i won't say screwed up because
00:25:32.180 that personality wasn't screwed up but he was lost yeah i was so lost i would take a gun put a bullet in
00:25:38.780 spin it put it in my head and pull the trigger wouldn't even think about it and people say you
00:25:43.020 were trying to commit suicides no no no that's how competitive hershey walker off i trained so
00:25:49.840 i trained so hard that i don't think people train the way i train people don't go out in 110 degree
00:25:59.100 weather and run five miles people don't do 5 000 push-ups they don't go do all that they don't go
00:26:08.820 out you know uh another prime example you know i uh competed in the superstar my very first year
00:26:15.640 you know i was a pretty good athlete i remember 1986 i was a decent athlete and everyone expected me to
00:26:22.640 go into the finals and they have five ten athletes on this side ten on the other side and five from each
00:26:28.060 side make the final hershey walker didn't make the final this first year because i was too arrogant
00:26:32.700 i just knew i was going to do it well i was so disgusted with myself i flew home to dallas texas from
00:26:39.860 uh i think we were in the bahamas i flew home to dallas texas two in the morning i went out to the
00:26:44.960 cowboy training camp start training i said it never happened to hers again i think the next two years
00:26:50.040 and i said because people didn't work the way i would put in well that's to how dedicated i was
00:26:58.260 well i happened because i had an anger that can do that but i had it but you do but hang on
00:27:05.380 but you also you do it now without that anger oh no i do it now because let me tell you the reason i do it now
00:27:13.600 yeah i don't think everybody should get a baseball chess because they lose i don't believe in this
00:27:20.360 everyone should be rewarded because i said there's some kid in two flow mississippi that reading about
00:27:26.680 hershey walker you remember that movie like rocket and rocket three when he fought mr t and rocket was
00:27:32.860 his champion he was kissing these babies and in vegas there's taking pictures and stuff they cut away
00:27:37.640 to mr t and he's hitting the bag and he's sweating and stuff because mr t really wanted to fight rocket
00:27:42.760 and rocket was now the champ well i said that's all people ever read about hershey walker is how i
00:27:49.320 work out it doesn't matter about my age it doesn't matter about who i am they want to they're getting
00:27:54.380 ready to compete against me even my nephews and niece they're getting ready they want to compete
00:28:00.460 against their uncle well i'll be honest i'm not gonna let nobody just show me up on youtube
00:28:07.780 it don't happen i'm like guys i still can compete so when you show up i want to let you know i'm ready
00:28:14.800 i'm not gonna like just lay down and that's why i say guys you know i still can i still do what i do
00:28:22.320 because i can do it you know i'm not like i can't you know people ask can i play today and i say well
00:28:27.680 probably i can do you know i can play just as well as some people i'm not gonna say i'm gonna be like
00:28:32.640 i was but i guarantee i can give a couple of plays i can do a couple of things today that can help a team
00:28:39.380 i can promise you that people you couldn't you couldn't play as well as colin kaepernick though
00:28:48.720 right well i guarantee i probably could you know and that's what i think you could people let me say
00:28:56.600 this you know i and i say this people get mad at me and that's what that's why i hate this culture
00:29:03.000 we're in today calvin you know he maybe he can play maybe he can play i don't know but he was not
00:29:10.920 playing when he decided to kneel and i said guys i didn't have a problem with him kneeling
00:29:17.740 my problem was that he was in a san francisco 49ers uniform doing it on the job you have a
00:29:27.940 contract when you sign and i think everybody signed that there are certain things you can do on your
00:29:33.040 job and you can't well when the people start saying oh yes you can do that freedom of speech
00:29:38.060 yeah you do have freedom of speech but not on your job yeah you come on my job and start telling me
00:29:43.920 what you want to do it's like we'll become this culture now we're gonna bully someone into doing
00:29:49.620 what you want them to do not what they should be doing all right we'll finish our conversation with
00:29:53.380 herschel walker here in just a second but first let me just uh ask you if you've noticed your hair
00:29:57.900 isn't looking as full as it used to losing your hair is no fun but there are options now this is
00:30:05.140 something that i was obsessed with when i was a kid because my dad was bald and uh you know there
00:30:09.840 wasn't there wasn't any hair growth products except you know witchcraft back when i was a kid
00:30:15.980 bad we liked it anyway um you know you have to go to the pharmacy you try not to go broke after you've
00:30:21.500 gone to the doctor and sat in the office with all the sick people and everything else and oh my gosh
00:30:26.320 you don't have to do that anymore try keeps k-e-e-p-s from the comfort of your lazy boy you can get the
00:30:33.980 same doctor recommended fda approval approved hair loss treatment keeps offers the generic versions
00:30:40.260 for about half the cost and the other thing that i love about keeps is it's all online you answer a

00:30:54.880 your door i mean you don't have to do anything i mean this is for a couch potato uh i mean maybe

00:31:15.620 loss treatment it's keeps.com slash save keeps.com slash save when i was at fox uh you know i would say
00:31:26.480 things on my radio show which i owned etc etc but when i was at fox i worked for rupert murdoch uh that
00:31:33.900 was his license that was his company and there were things that he would say you know please don't
00:31:41.140 now i would never say the things that if you know somebody was telling me to say them but as i said to
00:31:47.120 you know the uh the murdochs and and roger ales look i work for you so you can't tell me what to say
00:31:56.980 but if that's not what you want representing you know the company i'm your employee it's not my right
00:32:04.220 to come in and pee all over your room you built this and if i don't like it i'll go find my own room
00:32:10.200 you know what i mean and i don't yeah people don't understand that today and that's why you
00:32:16.320 don't have a that's why i want america to stand up guys stand up for what's right you know stand up
00:32:24.860 what's right i'm not telling you stand up for something what is right do you think do you think
00:32:31.020 we i mean i i just did a monologue today about i'm becoming more pissed off at the people of
00:32:39.620 seattle than the rioters i mean yeah no i am the leaders of where right where are where are the
00:32:47.900 people of chicago standing up saying stop this right now right and there's more people in seattle
00:32:55.120 that would say stop it and i don't want this then there are people that are doing it you're muhammad
00:33:00.500 are you sure you're one of the great words muhammad ali said and i tell people i was god i'm not saying
00:33:06.540 this but you got to think of it like this how many hunters would go hunting if a rabbit could
00:33:12.080 carry a gun think about it how many people go hunting if a rabbit could carry a gun if the people
00:33:19.140 in seattle decided to say god i don't want this anymore y'all gonna stop this because we have a
00:33:25.380 system and the leaders in seattle you got to go to that that mayor go to that government say no we
00:33:31.960 don't want this we want law you know you got a right to do that and you know what get them out
00:33:37.040 of office get them out of office because this is a country built on law then you could believe someone
00:33:42.300 right now and i was just joking to someone i said so is the law not for black people today can we do
00:33:50.180 whatever we want to do and we get away with it you know can we do that today and and are all white
00:34:00.140 people racist is this country nothing but evil i mean it it's it's it's sad and you know what said
00:34:08.960 about it my mom said something and i told people this is god if you want to know answer to stuff why
00:34:15.800 don't we go to some of the older people that was around during those times because you know i watched
00:34:21.600 this young lady uh from chicago talking about uh doing things and just for reparation and all that
00:34:28.740 and i said you weren't even around during that time and then she said something about you know they
00:34:34.180 have insurance and i said you know i want to tell her they may not have ride insurance because you
00:34:39.680 not think about that and then she also put her face out there so the insurance company should sue hers
00:34:43.680 go they got to pay so like you cause an accident they go after you but my problem i got is you sit
00:34:50.460 and you listen to that and i want to say people do y'all not want to wake up and again i want to say
00:34:54.880 something you know i want to say something that probably doesn't make a lot of people mad
00:34:58.640 republican party need to wake up amen hey it's time for them it's time for them to fight because i see
00:35:08.460 the democratic party doing whatever they want to do you know if you say your name wrong they want to
00:35:13.260 send you to jail if you are get out of your seat the wrong way or jay walk they want to send you
00:35:18.380 to jail and the republican party their knives and we want to have a hearing oh we're here about it
00:35:23.940 you know we've been having hearings all our lives nothing to be done yeah i know y'all need to wake up
00:35:29.040 and start the fight it's one of the things you know that i uh at first i didn't like about donald trump
00:35:36.620 that he is he is an agent of chaos he lives in chaos he thrives on chaos you know um however because
00:35:45.420 of that he may be uniquely equipped and maybe one of the only people that truly can navigate
00:35:53.260 through that world and still say i ain't afraid of you i don't care what you do the more you do it to me
00:36:01.100 the more i like it so keep going i mean it's uh you need leaders like that and it's not what he
00:36:09.400 says what he does and that's why i keep telling people you need leaders that's not afraid to step
00:36:15.040 out there and do this and i'm gonna you know i'm gonna say this we we we're going to the grandpa
00:36:20.400 and grandma effect and what i mean by that is there's people in washington and they got to forgive
00:36:25.940 the first one there's people in washington that been there forever that's the reason nothing has
00:36:30.760 changed you know they want to talk about changes nothing has changed because they've been there
00:36:34.720 forever they won't change anything because uh this hasn't been just going on uh since donald trump
00:36:40.980 administration been in office oh all this has been going on been going on for a long time it just
00:36:46.320 just happened yesterday he is he is the product of a system that has failed and people tried to
00:36:55.320 change it and tried to change it and tried to change it and then they finally said you know
00:36:59.540 what i think he'll actually do it so this was brought on by by what he's done that's what's so
00:37:07.600 funny i'm like yeah i know i'm not here to preach him but i'm here to say god giving credit because
00:37:13.100 this president has met with people that i can tell you right now a lot of the president would have never
00:37:19.280 met with and they've had a chance to do certain things that he's done that they didn't do
00:37:25.240 and this is for african-american for latino-american for everyone they've had a chance to do it they
00:37:31.600 didn't do it they didn't have a chance to deal with this deal in a stand and remember
00:37:36.120 cabinet night started what two three years ago they had a chance because they haven't heard about it
00:37:42.320 they did nothing and now they want to say something about it now and it's like guys you've had a chance
00:37:49.680 to do this and i'll tell you the worst thing that really made me angry is right at this point today
00:37:56.180 we have a vote coming up in just a couple of us say what about a month and a half wait no it's like
00:38:02.920 two months three months or whatever we have a vote coming up we have our leaders in washington want
00:38:09.680 people to go into this voting booth angry because you won't give them money they have no money they
00:38:15.740 have no food on their table they don't they can barely keep a roof over their head the government
00:38:20.540 want to dictate how they live their life you want them to go into this voting booth to vote
00:38:25.960 on the most powerful man in the world who should represent us and then you have people who's now
00:38:33.300 standing up there and they want to represent us like a wolf in sheep's clothing they don't want to
00:38:38.880 debate they stay in the basement they don't want to talk but then yet they're a great person when
00:38:44.220 they've been in office i'm not even i hate to be me for a fifth or something year i want to know
00:38:49.720 where you stand today i want to know who you are give the people an opportunity to know who you are
00:38:56.240 without having anyone holding up a sign that you have to read because we're in a you know we've
00:39:02.100 fought a civil war one we fought a civil war that's where we're at right now we want law and order
00:39:09.260 or we don't and you know so fun and i'm gonna say this because people said that donald trump
00:39:14.200 came to office because if this is a society that people want with no law and order
00:39:19.680 russell walker and his family don't want to be in the united states of america anymore
00:39:23.980 if we don't want an order in this country no more i don't want to be here anymore
00:39:28.640 i do want to move and i can guarantee so there's no order i am moving so the problem that that is
00:39:36.060 is because i feel the same way if there is no law and order in america there most likely won't be any
00:39:42.560 law and order in the in the world china will just gobble things up russia would gobble things up
00:39:48.100 where do you go it's it's reagan we are the last bastion this is this is the alamo well that's
00:39:56.640 what they want us to be and that's why i said that's what they want us to be you look at what's
00:40:00.900 going on today and this was so fun they don't want you to go to school no more you can't go to church
00:40:06.220 you can you can you can riot you can uh protest because it's peaceful but you know in the peaceful
00:40:11.860 protest fifth or something cops are getting injured but uh they can't fight back so i'm like i'm
00:40:17.500 confused because they don't want to change anything right now you know what glenn i'm gonna say
00:40:23.880 something i probably shouldn't tatter there do you know right now i have something
00:40:27.480 that can bring you into a building that would clean you from covert as you walk through this
00:40:34.640 this dry mess as you walk through the door it will kill any cover on your body epa fda approved
00:40:43.900 when you leave it will kill the virus as you leave this here product then i have something you can go
00:40:50.180 and spray down this product do you know they don't want to talk about that they don't want to hear
00:40:55.000 about that i i will tell you i i'll tell you um herschel that um you know the more investigation
00:41:04.800 we've done you know we're like uh we're over 150 days now uh of into our 15 day flatten the curve
00:41:13.620 experiment and i i look at it and i there is there's something more going on and it is teaching us to be
00:41:22.500 controlled it is teaching us that uh we're going to change everything and it's it's uh it's frightening
00:41:29.880 uh truly frightening you're in the restaurant service industry you provide uh supplies to restaurants
00:41:39.640 right i i uh i uh i sell chicken i'm in the protein business where i got into the food service
00:41:46.220 business industry about 23 years ago and i've been very fortunate to build a larger minority home food
00:41:53.060 company in the united states i sell to cisco u.s food restaurants all over the country hotels casinos
00:42:00.080 uh god has blessed me uh you know and one thing about it is i didn't get into the business to make
00:42:07.740 money not that i'm an idiot but i thought if i got a man's job i'd give himself worth and i thought
00:42:14.640 as long as the company paid for itself and i can help people to work that's one of my contributions i
00:42:19.880 can do to america because i've been blessed you know i come right before you talked about all the
00:42:24.720 things i've had well it didn't just come from herschel walk it came from my lord jesus christ
00:42:29.160 and i'm supposed to help to help all the people so i want to give them jobs and i've been very fortunate
00:42:35.260 to build another company as well through that and to give people jobs and even during this pandemic
00:42:41.160 i didn't lose one worker i put a protocol in place that i can help uh i can help people out and we can
00:42:49.480 stay working and keep people uh you know keep people happy and and that's what i've done you know
00:42:55.480 and it's been hard it's hard and that's why you know i i tell people even in that i said guys we
00:43:02.280 have an opportunity to help each other why are we not doing that you know like i said i love
00:43:07.960 anyone's faith you got to have a foundation i'm not i'm not i don't care what faith you go you got
00:43:13.240 to have a foundation that when you're full you got to be able to land somewhere and having that
00:43:19.180 foundation if you don't land somewhere and that's what i've been able to do so tell me about the
00:43:25.740 restaurants that you serve uh how what is the feeling of people through this covid and being
00:43:33.200 shut down and how are they how are they making it you know it's very difficult you know it's very
00:43:40.160 difficult you know and and you know i think the people in washington try to say oh you can do
00:43:44.060 uh like open 50 percent or 40 percent up and you realize you can't make money to put it like that
00:43:49.680 you really lose money you know you got to pay electricity you got to pay workers you got to do
00:43:54.020 and i don't know i don't know who people in washington think they're business people but
00:43:58.140 they're not you can't make money doing like that you're gonna lose money right and i said these
00:44:01.880 people are you know they're struggling they're struggling you know and you know i'm not gonna i
00:44:07.100 am not gonna name the company but i'm i'm confused why they can have some people open but some people
00:44:11.440 can't open some people can't open like it makes no sense and uh you know some of the people that
00:44:19.620 i service our hotel you know the hotel industry has really been hurt they've been hurt really really
00:44:24.600 bad right now and i and you know and i pivoted out trying to find other ways to help them and that's
00:44:31.660 one of the things i talked about earlier that i have stuff that i think can help them i have stuff
00:44:36.560 that i can think can help schools had nothing to do with horser walkie but it had to do with i can
00:44:40.120 make a difference in this country well in this you know and i pivoted out try to do some retail you
00:44:46.660 know most i was doing food service food service going to be your restaurants your hotels your
00:44:51.200 casinos uh you know your qsr quick food restaurant and and my business now is picking back up a little
00:44:58.360 bit but i'm still not 100 percent faster and you know i changed you know now instead of doing a lot
00:45:04.400 of raw product you can do a pre-cook a par cook and uh and and so uh you sort of pivot out and try to
00:45:12.400 help them out herschel let me let me change the subject to your son um if you don't mind and if
00:45:22.540 you're uncomfortable we we don't have to talk about it but uh because i know what okay because i i know
00:45:29.900 how i am with security and my family um but your son uh i just saw a video of him talking about black
00:45:37.420 lives matter and he had the facts down i mean he was really effective and very good and then i watched
00:45:45.160 a couple of other videos from him and and he's talking about how excited he is to be going to
00:45:50.960 college at the university that he's going to which is not uh conservative uh and and he's so excited
00:46:00.040 about being there and going and he's excited about this experience and i thought you are you
00:46:06.000 because you're outspoken and you're effective i don't think it's going to be all that pleasant of
00:46:14.320 a ride for him no it's not a pleasant ride for me uh or him or a lot of my family but glenn i keep
00:46:22.400 saying the truth is the truth you know uh he loved the lord jesus and and i told people this you know
00:46:28.340 the black lives matter i said guys you know i understand black lives matter but to me american
00:46:33.860 lives matter because my son is not just uh african-american he's uh he's uh italian he's
00:46:42.440 also part spanish oh yeah and so uh american lives matter and and i said people can call me whatever
00:46:49.860 they want to call me your coon you know the word coon and i said people let me break you off something
00:46:54.880 that you don't realize a coon is one of the smartest animals out there so that's a that's a
00:46:59.400 that's a compliment to call me there you know call me another animal that may not be good but a coon
00:47:04.020 is a great name but i go back to my son i said you know i want him to finish school and it's tough
00:47:13.080 because he hear all this stuff and he want to speak out and i'm like god uh sometimes some things
00:47:20.840 you should say and he's dead if i don't say it it hurts me to see what's going on in this country
00:47:25.840 and you don't speak out and that's why i tell everyone people we have to speak out right now
00:47:32.500 our leaders some of them that agree to let this lawlessness go on is because the majority of the
00:47:38.960 people not speaking out because i can guarantee you 80 of the united states of america don't like
00:47:45.600 what's going on maybe even more and if we continue to hide in the closet when it do comes time to
00:47:52.900 speak out it's going to be too late we need to stop it before it gets worse right now what's happening
00:47:59.800 right it's not fair and and christian as a christian you know again this was so funny do people realize
00:48:06.080 that this little boy graduated high school early he started college as a sophomore speaks four
00:48:13.360 different languages and writes as well he loved learning he loves school he loves he's got his
00:48:20.580 fights all down but i tell people russell walker and his family are monks i have white people in my
00:48:28.220 family i have italian people in my family i have spanish people in my family i even have a russian
00:48:32.720 in my family today i have we're all good but well i'm gonna tell the people in america something that
00:48:39.600 they may not know god has taken america he put white in he put afro-american put native america
00:48:46.000 he put all these different and this is in this in this bowl and he got mixed us up and then what came
00:48:52.340 out of uh america was so wonderful so beautiful he made the best thing in the whole united state
00:48:58.360 whole world because it was all us together and i keep saying guys tell me what you want
00:49:05.300 instead of fighting why don't people come up with solutions you know not to be mean you know
00:49:12.040 miss harris senator harris uh vice president biden the ns speech every day i heard them talking about
00:49:20.600 how this president they don't have a solution my thing is they have one because i'm heard
00:49:26.480 they say all i heard is these these monday night couch what about it so i want to come up with
00:49:33.900 solutions you know like if people kneeling in the nfl kneeling in the nba kneeling in major league
00:49:39.460 baseball and i even said hershey walker want to be on a board let's see what you want how we can
00:49:45.320 change it i would go to wash them with you because you know we make the again you know this the amount
00:49:54.140 of money these sports makes makes enough money that we can send someone to washington to sort of
00:50:00.280 help change their laws to put it where we want it it is upsetting me that right now we become a society
00:50:08.940 that you're forced to do certain things you know we had uh and i'm not sure and i'm and you gotta help
00:50:14.900 me out with this we had a couple of black leaders they call black leaders that wrote a letter to the
00:50:21.960 vice president saying if you don't elect a person of color we're not gonna vote for you
00:50:26.040 we get off doing that ass you know and then he comes out that he's gonna have a woman and i don't
00:50:34.120 know what he said a woman of color and i'm like so what about the people that you decided not to have
00:50:40.000 what about the best person for that job what about the best person for that job not just to get a vote
00:50:45.600 because to be honest with you i think just to say that is a racist statement
00:50:49.780 because you're only getting a vote you know i see you in all these churches and not not to be
00:50:56.120 not to be mean but he has been in office forever has he decided one time to change anything in
00:51:03.880 african-american community has they decided to change anything in african-american community
00:51:09.320 you know i'm in african-american i don't see you and i said guys i'm not out here
00:51:14.920 but i said this president here that had been in office for three years and i'm not going to tell
00:51:21.360 what he's done but i said do all the people at these historical black colleges even realize that
00:51:29.080 he is one of the people that helped to fund historical black colleges do they even know that
00:51:36.420 because sometimes you know the news media don't even put that out they don't want to talk about that
00:51:40.580 and then uh i heard this which is now tell me i don't understand this i heard senator harris
00:51:48.360 talk about president trump during her exception speech as vice president she talked about him
00:51:55.880 but now all the news media don't want president trump to say anything about her because she's a woman of
00:52:03.180 color as vice president so you can't say nothing about her now you're going to be called a racist
00:52:07.400 she's going to be called a change but i think biden hired her as it hired guns because now she's
00:52:12.880 going to sling all the dirt at him but don't say oh yeah because you're going to be you're going to
00:52:17.560 be this here because i asked people this i'm confused i'm gonna throw some knowledge i'm gonna
00:52:21.980 confuse because did the american people tear her they didn't even want her because they didn't vote
00:52:28.060 for her to even come up in the election she ended up dropping out so they said no i don't want you as
00:52:35.000 president so we went through the process so are they now trying to get her back in through the
00:52:40.620 right door don't don't fool me because it's sort of like you're kissing on my leg telling me it's
00:52:46.500 rain because i'm and i'm not saying it's bad i'm not saying anything bad i'm saying guys think about
00:52:53.640 it that's all i'm saying think about this we're becoming this country that everyone keeps fighting
00:52:59.360 we don't want to be because american people are afraid to be called racist well i'm gonna tell
00:53:04.600 you from hershey walker just because you're standing up for justice and for something right
00:53:09.340 don't mean you're racist is that problem in this country yes it is but the way you solve it is by
00:53:15.200 we're going to washington we're moving some of the people in washington out of there putting people
00:53:20.760 in that not going to open up to how this society has changed because i told someone this i said aoc
00:53:26.360 aoc or whatever she said something i totally disagree with i'm like wow she said some really
00:53:32.180 crazy stuff but i respect her as a province woman because her people voted her in but that's what's
00:53:41.560 great about america they don't have to keep her there they can get rid of her later on so i don't
00:53:47.400 have to agree with her i said that's what's great about america but when you're being told
00:53:51.480 this is the only way you gotta live this is the only way you gotta do you gotta elect this person
00:53:56.480 or i'm not gonna vote for you that goes back into the i'm gonna force you to do certain things
00:54:02.260 well i don't like herschel people shouldn't herschel
00:54:05.640 you live in a nice neighborhood uh until the becks rolled into town uh but you live in a nice
00:54:13.920 neighborhood you have i'm gonna reverse that and say you were living in a nice neighborhood i got
00:54:19.120 um but uh uh you have you have a great job you have a great image you have a great history you've
00:54:31.460 accomplished so much you have a great family your son is going out um you could you could lead in many
00:54:40.780 ways and you could affect in positive ways um but you you stand with the military you stand with
00:54:47.880 donald trump that alone is costing you it is and the police yeah that is costing you a great deal
00:54:58.880 there's a lot of flesh that is being uh paid for here um why why do what you're doing why can why
00:55:10.040 now do you stand up and even go further and and and put everything in jeopardy why well i don't know
00:55:19.240 whether i'm putting in jeopardy but i gotta be able to live with myself and what i by what i mean by that
00:55:24.520 i gotta be able to live with the truth because how in the world could i live with myself if i'm alive
00:55:30.340 remember i went to a hospital for being faith i went to a hospital for not being honest well what's
00:55:37.680 honest right now is is is you know i was raised by uh i was very fortunate raised by a mom and a dad
00:55:44.220 and some people don't have a uh a mom or a dad or they may not have either and i said you know i was
00:55:50.460 fortunate to be being raised by them but they taught me taking some of that stuff is not right
00:55:55.440 breaking the law is not right that if you want to change something herschel you change it to the
00:56:02.380 system or you try to change the system and i said you know they talk about this and maybe they need
00:56:09.260 to help me with this word systemic racism and i said systemic mean it is embedded as a norm
00:56:16.240 well embedded as a norm mean it's been happening for a long time well we just finished with a black
00:56:24.200 president that couldn't have happened 30 years ago we have more african-american millionaires in the
00:56:31.300 united states of america that couldn't have been 30 years ago can we change things yes but you don't
00:56:38.700 change it through violence violence is what happened and when you start throwing this word racism out
00:56:44.220 there you know that's what you do if you did to hurt someone would you quiet them down by saying oh
00:56:50.140 you're racist you're racist you don't know what racism is racism when people are harmed racism when
00:56:56.620 people are burned racism when people are beaten to death you know racism is going back to those
00:57:03.180 days right that's not racism that's disagreement there's somebody disagree with you that's what
00:57:08.520 there's disagreement because not to be mean there's so many uh multicultural people in this country
00:57:14.360 today you know uh than anything and that's what i said and i'm gonna fight for my rights and i said
00:57:22.360 guys and if i have to die this is the honest truth and glenn i'm gonna say this if i have to die
00:57:28.200 i'm willing to die because i said what is upsetting to me is for people to lie and to not want to do
00:57:38.180 anything for these young people that are being killed these are young kids are being killed and
00:57:44.140 when people say oh they don't matter what matters is what the police is doing no what matters is these
00:57:48.980 young people being killed what matter is there is black on black crime guys let's let's let's talk
00:57:55.160 about that what hurts me is we can't even talk about it so people want me to just go along with
00:58:00.180 something fake well god ain't gonna let me into heaven if i'm fake because he ain't gonna recognize me
00:58:05.420 and i said i'm gonna make try to get equality and i may not see it but i want my son to get
00:58:13.500 closer to seeing it and if i'm gonna be fake i won't live here and like i told you i'll get up and
00:58:19.900 i'll move if i gotta die for what i'm saying i'm not saying anything wrong i'm just saying i want
00:58:26.060 everybody to be treated right but i'm trying to work it through the way it's supposed to be work
00:58:31.620 i'm not trying to do it i'm not trying to force it on nobody and i and i and i desperately want to
00:58:36.660 steal something you know it was wrong for those people to break into those people neighborhood
00:58:43.320 and all of a sudden now they're going to be prosecuted because they're going to defend their
00:58:47.240 own property you have these local governors and mayors telling the police stand down don't do
00:58:52.860 anything while people throw bricks throw all this stuff at them oh don't do anything it's like
00:58:58.060 what are you doing you know is a is those city people gonna stand up and say no we don't want
00:59:03.960 this no more you got to leave because i think what we need to do is create american lives matter
00:59:10.100 and stand in front of the police and now we become a peaceful protest to protest against these
00:59:17.060 and then all of a sudden it becomes this civil war again because i'm confused why we have to keep
00:59:24.300 putting up with it and local government it's just they're okay they're okay with people being killed
00:59:31.260 they're okay with people dying they're okay with people business being destroyed it's like oh that's
00:59:37.860 what that's the cost of doing business well it's not right well i i will tell you this herschel um
00:59:44.760 it's good to have you as a neighbor it's good to have you as a neighbor uh i think you might
00:59:50.060 have been the person that have coined the term of our house the the beck compound that's what i
00:59:54.920 guess it's known as around around the neighborhood now uh you and your you're in your family if they
01:00:00.560 come marching in are welcome uh we've got plenty of supplies and plenty of ways to protect ourselves
01:00:07.180 i stand with you any day glenn yeah likewise i stand likewise i stand with any of my neighbors
01:00:14.920 in this neighborhood any day and i don't care what they believe in they can be they can be democrat
01:00:19.520 or republican i will stand with them any day because right is right wrong is wrong and that's the way i
01:00:25.200 believe my parents taught me that so let me ask you one sports question um and i had the producers
01:00:32.360 go through and i got a list of sports questions but i got time for one and i want to tie it to kind of
01:00:39.200 really who you are it's about things that happen that don't make sense or just feel like a bad thing
01:00:46.400 uh and then you look back on it and it actually shaped you so i'd like some perspective on this
01:00:52.900 uh in 1989 you were in one of the most controversial trades in all of uh football uh everybody said
01:01:02.480 trading you from the cowboys to the vikings insane taking the star player the the best player and
01:01:11.460 trading away but if that trade didn't happen you you might not have had the dallas cowboy you know the
01:01:18.560 three super bowls and the dynasty what what are your reflective thoughts on that now well you know
01:01:28.220 as i look right now uh and even when i looked at that time you know i i couldn't believe that they
01:01:35.520 even traded me because uh you know i was a nfc russian leader at that time and but i i said i think
01:01:43.060 jerry jones and jimmy johnson did the right thing and if you uh have read anything i ever said
01:01:48.540 i i said if i own a team i would have jimmy johnson to uh to run that team for me i respect him that
01:01:56.100 much and he traded me and i even like jerry jones as an owner that's what people don't you know
01:02:01.440 i said i like jerry jones as an owner as long as i've been around uh mr jones i've never seen him
01:02:07.840 come down and try to run be a coach and do all of that he worried about his players that is the
01:02:12.620 honest truth and i went back and i played for him at my end and i said going to minnesota was
01:02:17.960 interesting i didn't know minnesota was like hey cold growing up in georgia and then dallas and
01:02:26.180 then going to minnesota must have been like you were in alaska or the north pole remember i went
01:02:31.220 to new york going to minnesota was like whoa but let me tell you that's one of the best places i ever
01:02:37.020 lived in my life is minnesota and what's funny is that people got to know herschel walker and i told
01:02:42.840 people if i ever run for a president i guarantee i can carry the state of minnesota the people got
01:02:48.520 to know who i was got to know who i and you know being honest just like what i'm doing here
01:02:52.460 they knew i was going to tell you the truth i'm not going to sit here and try to sugarcoat anything
01:02:56.640 you know try to make myself look good you know i have faults i have my fault but i'm going to work
01:03:01.700 at it i'll try to change and make it better and then i went to uh go ahead hang on just a second
01:03:07.340 how do you feel about what's happening to the businesses and the people i feel like
01:03:12.200 uh these towns have just abandoned uh people yeah and they're they're all moving
01:03:20.520 go ahead i'm gonna blame the citizen of minnesota stand up to that that state and local government
01:03:28.640 you know was you abandoning people businesses you abandon they they let people destroy the businesses
01:03:35.200 and and the the local officials you know uh you stand down you know no you don't stand down
01:03:42.180 you know when all of a sudden why do they have protection and why are they not standing down
01:03:46.640 you know all the local officials that don't want uh the police want the police to stand down what we
01:03:52.380 need to do then is let's take all the money that they have the security for them and let's now defund
01:03:58.620 the security for all the local officials that want the police to stand down let's take all that
01:04:03.760 because i said that can add up and i said guys this is terrible it is absolutely terrible because
01:04:10.460 people work all their life they have something destroyed you know that is awful i i wish i wish
01:04:18.960 donald trump would uh hire the the former uh chief of police of seattle she was treated so horribly
01:04:26.800 she she had the officer's respect she seems like she wanted to be in there she should be some liaison
01:04:34.920 to some of these cities because they're not gonna listen to him unfortunately but she's she's
01:04:40.860 remarkable well i guarantee she's gonna get another job uh i think it's good for and what and i think
01:04:48.620 officers respected her because she walked away from something that was terrible yeah she walked
01:04:54.400 let me tell you what's funny when you want to win the super bowl you don't disfund your team you go
01:05:02.520 out and buy better players when you want to win you don't go out and say i'm gonna take money out
01:05:07.860 of this team go and buy no more players and so where do they get off that okay to have a better
01:05:14.160 police force we're gonna take money out of them i'm confused it makes no sense no sense no sense
01:05:22.260 herschel it is a pleasure to know you it's a pleasure to be your neighbor and uh and to spend an hour
01:05:30.040 with you is just is it's been real fun thank you oh thank you and i we're here if you need if you
01:05:36.880 need supplies we're here
01:05:38.220 all these crazy things all the time i gotta find new workout things go doing the same old thing all the
01:05:49.420 time but i'm still doing it yeah yeah god bless you urschel thank you very much
01:05:53.980 just a reminder i'd love you to rate and subscribe to the podcast and pass this on to a friend so it
01:06:05.540 can be discovered by other people
01:06:19.420 you
