The Glenn Beck Program - Guest Host Garret Lewis - KNST AM 790 - Rapper Nicki Minaj's appearance at TPUSA AmericaFest Matters

00:00:00.000 Garrett Lewis with you sitting in for the great Glenn Beck right here and I am in Arizona. I'm

00:00:05.480 in Phoenix. I'm on KFYI in Phoenix KNST in Tucson and I am so glad to be talking to you. And again,

00:00:15.040 I never thought coming into doing this show and I'm so excited to do it or even on my show that

00:00:21.020 I'd sit back and tell you about Nicki Minaj. I honestly, I couldn't even tell you a song that

00:00:25.940 Nicki Minaj has made. I couldn't do that. And this is where I start to feel older. I never

00:00:33.800 thought I'd get to in my life where I thought I knew all the music and I thought my parents were

00:00:37.820 lame. But I'm 40. I'm sure my 12, almost 13 year old might know a Nicki Minaj song or two. I'm not

00:00:44.600 100 percent sure. Anyway, Nicki Minaj was the special guest at the AmFest event. And she was

00:00:53.680 out there with Erica Kirk. And look, I'm I'm an optimistic person. And I'm I always say there's

00:01:01.260 more of us than there are of them on our side. I really do on our side. And Nicki Minaj has been

00:01:09.680 very outspoken about Christians being persecuted in Nigeria. And she has quite a following. Like,

00:01:17.920 I don't think this should be downplayed. I think the media, for the most part, is going to ignore

00:01:21.980 what you're about to hear, just in case you haven't heard it. I think that the I think that

00:01:26.980 the media is is they are absolute. They're a bunch of frauds and you know this. And I think 0.98

00:01:35.840 they know they are cooked because they're not going to mention what is happening with Nicki

00:01:42.440 Minaj because the culture battle is so big. I mean, would you think that Nicki Minaj would 0.99

00:01:48.140 be a big Trump and J.D. Vance fan? Nicki Minaj has 25 million followers on X. I tried looking

00:01:59.280 her up on Instagram and apparently she just two months ago deactivated her account because there

00:02:06.660 was something, I don't know, drama with other artists, but she had 230 million followers on

00:02:12.360 Instagram. I'm not on TikTok. I'm sure she's got hundreds of millions of people following her

00:02:18.480 on TikTok. And by what she said at AmFest, it made it okay and even more acceptable to not only

00:02:26.440 actually support President Trump, support what we want, what you want. But she's making it

00:02:38.020 acceptable to actually say it out loud. To say it out loud. I mean, politics, because Trump got in

00:02:44.200 10 years ago, politics is now pop culture. That's how it is. Again, I have a 12 year old. My 13 year

00:02:49.940 old will become, well, 12 year old will be 13 in two days. I have an eight year old. They talk more

00:02:56.300 about politics than I did in my early 20s. That's how it's become. So Nicki Minaj is a special guest

00:03:03.740 with Erica Kirk. And all of a sudden it starts coming out. Okay. I have the utmost respect

00:03:13.460 and admiration for our president.

00:03:21.920 Okay. He, he has, I don't know if he even knows this, but he's given so many people hope

00:03:31.600 that there's a chance to beat the bad guys. Wow. And to win and to do it, um, with your head held

00:03:42.460 high and, um, your integrity intact. Well, that's a lot different than what the media says. How many

00:03:51.880 of Nicki Minaj's followers, and it's crazy to think about it, right? Like people will actually base what

00:03:58.120 they do in life based on what Nicki Minaj says, but it happens. It happens, right? Some people are

00:04:04.600 influential. That's just how it is. So Nicki Minaj, all of a sudden starts saying that stuff

00:04:10.520 and I'm sure they knew it was coming. They're not going to bring somebody out to AmFest. That's

00:04:14.520 going to all of a sudden just be like, you know who I don't like. I don't like Trump. You guys stink,

00:04:19.440 whatever. And it's not just Trump. It's the movement, but she started going with that. And there's 1.00

00:04:25.480 certain things that she said because it's just common sense. It's just common sense. Um,

00:04:34.720 I thought, and cause you say Trump is a billionaire, right? Trump's a billionaire.

00:04:40.840 There are enough people that are not relatable. Um,

00:04:44.580 President Trump, and just for me personally, I grew up on Long Island and I'm out in Arizona,

00:04:54.520 but my grandmother really could before I play another thing, cause Nicki Minaj nails why Trump 0.97

00:05:00.140 is very popular and it's simple, but it's not everybody could do it, right? My grandmother was a,

00:05:06.500 uh, the financial bookkeeper for a guy that developed half of Manhattan. His name is, uh,

00:05:13.700 where it was, uh, Lanny Litwin. And he used to be very close to Donald Trump's dad.

00:05:20.460 And I remember arguing my grandmother, she was in her nineties going back 10 years ago,

00:05:26.980 nine years ago, 2015, 2016, when I would tell her she was in Florida where, where all the, uh,

00:05:31.800 the, uh, I I'm Jewish. Well, all the New York Jews go to retire. So I would say, listen, 0.99

00:05:38.140 you have to vote for Trump. And I would totally play the Jewish guilt card. You have to vote for 1.00

00:05:42.300 Trump. If you want your great grandkids to be able to have a life, you need to do this. And

00:05:47.880 I can't do that. Why? What's going on? And I, and she would tell me stories that in the seventies,

00:05:55.000 now president Trump, Donald Trump wanted to learn how to be a really big developer.

00:05:59.300 And he would go in to try to learn from Mr. Litwin and Mr. Litwin would give him some jobs and Trump

00:06:06.180 would, would then bill him for that stuff. And my grandmother being the financial bookkeeper would 0.85

00:06:11.260 look at the numbers and say, wait a second, this guy, Trump is overcharging. And she'd go over to

00:06:16.060 Mr. Litwin, Mr. Litwin is Trump guy. He's overcharging you. Helen, it's okay. Litwin was worth billions of

00:06:21.240 dollars. He didn't care. Helen, it's okay. It's okay. It's all right. It's all right. And she goes,

00:06:27.000 nope, nope. It's not all right. It's not all right. And she would bust it out to the lobby

00:06:32.460 and she worked in Queens. That's where Trump is from Queens. And Donald Trump would be sitting

00:06:39.120 there and he'd drop off his bill and the chair, whatever. And he'd be ready to go. Hey. And she

00:06:43.320 would yell him before he'd walk in. Hey you Trump, where the hell do you think you're going? Where do 0.97

00:06:46.900 you think you're going? You are trying to rip off Mr. Litwin. You're overcharging us. Oh, it's okay.

00:06:52.900 He can handle it. Oh, you can. And she would like go out and now he's the most powerful man in the

00:06:57.780 world and has been in the most influential, the most famous and you name it. And my grandmother

00:07:02.900 used to yell at him. She used to yell at him quite a bit. Uh, that's what she would tell me.

00:07:08.180 So I thought that was kind of a, but it it's, it's that aspect to where Donald Trump is a, is a guy

00:07:14.080 from Queens who would talk to anybody. It could be, it could be the most prestigious, most brilliant,

00:07:21.440 most rich. Um, it could be blue collar guys. That's what he would do. Uh, that's what makes

00:07:29.520 him a, it so appealable in that aspect is that he's just relatable. And I, I always look at him

00:07:35.960 and I think of him as a, uh, I always look at president. I love president Trump. I mean,

00:07:40.120 there's some things that I'm like, I don't know about that, but for the, you know, the guy's done an

00:07:43.600 incredible thing. You're never going to agree with everybody. I mean, my wife doesn't agree

00:07:48.160 with me on everything, but that's why she's wrong a lot of the time. Only if she did. But

00:07:52.200 I look at president Trump, like Rodney Dangerfield and Caddyshack. He's like Al Chernick. That that's

00:07:59.400 who I view him as. And it just, it cracks me up and he does an incredible job, but it's the

00:08:03.980 relatability in that aspect. And Nicki Minaj had a lot of things to say. And I thought this was very

00:08:08.400 powerful. Our vice president, he makes me, well, I, I love both of them, but they're,

00:08:16.960 they're, they're both powerful men, smart, strong, all of that. But both of them have a very

00:08:27.640 uncanny ability to be someone that you relate to. I can relate to them when I hear them speak. I know

00:08:36.000 that they're one of us. Like I know that they're not, don't you guys agree? They haven't, they

00:08:43.460 haven't lost, they haven't lost touch of the world. You know, they're still connected to the world and

00:08:51.100 what's happening in the world with the younger people and older people, with the richer people

00:08:56.440 and not so rich people. They have the ability to still connect and be real and make us feel proud

00:09:05.000 to be American. That, you know, again, the culture is the biggest thing, right? Culture drives politics

00:09:11.780 and it's the relatability like that. And that's, and that look, you get this from Trump. As soon as,

00:09:17.900 as soon as Trump came down that escalator 10 years ago and said, Hey, you know what I want to do?

00:09:21.920 I want to build a wall. Got to keep the illegals out. That's what won it. That's what won it for 1.00

00:09:27.180 Trump because Americans were saying that for decades, what's going on here. Illegals are coming

00:09:34.300 in. We see what's happening. It doesn't make us racist or anything like that. This is not good. 0.59

00:09:40.400 And politicians would be scared to touch it, scared to talk about it. I mean, here in Arizona,

00:09:47.420 John McCain actually said, if we don't give illegals amnesty, the Republican party is never going to

00:09:56.900 win another election because Hispanics will not vote for us, which is one of the most racist things 0.95

00:10:02.340 I've ever heard because apparently all illegals and only illegals are Hispanic. And the only thing

00:10:08.900 you can do is kowtow to them by giving them something for a vote, which is why John McCain was

00:10:14.260 really a Democrat because that's what Democrats do. And that got us nothing but losses. And Trump

00:10:22.300 comes down and says this, and it's like, holy smokes. And you wouldn't expect a guy that's worth a

00:10:27.500 billion dollars that has connections out the wazoo that's dealt with the mob and dealt with royalty

00:10:31.600 and dealt with this and that. You wouldn't expect that he would be the kind of guy that would relate

00:10:37.060 to Americans, but Americans relate to that. And that's why he's so great with angel families. And I

00:10:42.400 wish there were no angel families, but that's how it is. And that's why, you know, he's making it very

00:10:47.980 difficult for, for Americans to get our jobs outsourced. He wants to bring business back. Like

00:10:53.560 everything Americans were saying, this is what we wanted. And yet we were stuck with, and I'll give

00:10:57.960 you another Arizona, that loser that used to be here, Jeff Flake. I mean, we were, they were trying 0.94

00:11:03.000 to convince us that fair trade and free trade are the same thing. And they're not. And you know what?

00:11:10.440 We, we, we don't need to make things here anymore. Haven't made other places that are cheaper. It's

00:11:14.480 going to be better for you because they were benefiting and their donors are benefiting

00:11:18.400 it. And for Nicki Minaj to get up there and say those things is, I think a big giant shockwave

00:11:32.400 shockwave to the Democrats, to the media, to the rhinos as well, by the way, I think it's a giant

00:11:41.220 shockwave to all of them because they're saying, Oh man, we are losing this. We are losing this. We

00:11:49.180 are, we are losing the base. We thought we could bribe them all. This is why they had to import tens of

00:11:55.100 millions of illegals to try to get votes. I'm hoping it's over. We can never stop, but I'm hoping 0.73

00:12:02.320 that it is over. I re I really am. I really am. Um, and I have more, Nicki Minaj said some incredible

00:12:09.160 stuff, incredible stuff. And it's just because it's common sense. And Americans think like this,

00:12:15.600 um, and, and again, it's, I, I feel like I'm with him and, and how many times can you say that?

00:12:25.040 Did you feel like you were connected to Mitt Romney or George W. Bush? Did you, did you really? I mean,

00:12:31.120 no, hell no. Right. No way. Um, one more that I want to get you from Nicki Minaj and, and I, and,

00:12:40.960 and there's a lot that she said, and I have that. And J.D. Vance was on fire from that stuff. I have

00:12:46.260 a lot to get to as well. Uh, attorney points, Amfest, they brought out that lady from Target too. 1.00

00:12:52.100 Are there, the, this, this lady from California wearing a Charlie Kirk freedom shirt and she gets 0.89

00:12:56.560 attacked by some lunatic leftist Karen. Uh, they brought her out, but I, I think, I think that lady 1.00

00:13:02.960 could have done something a bit different. Uh, and I'll get to all that stuff. And we have the Epstein

00:13:07.380 situation. Why are the Democrats talking about Epstein anymore? What happened with that?

00:13:10.960 So I have it all for you. My name is Garrett Lewis. Thank you for coming out. Happy Hanukkah

00:13:14.840 just ended last night. Merry Christmas coming up. I have so much more and I appreciate you being with

00:13:19.660 me sitting in here for the great Glenn Beck. My name is Garrett Lewis sitting in for Glenn Beck and I

00:13:37.040 have a, uh, a show afternoon show on KFYI in Phoenix and KNST in Tucson. And I am so happy to be

00:13:45.860 hanging out with you. This is like therapy for me. I get, I get antsy and paranoid when I'm out on the

00:13:51.240 radio. I know I need some time off, but I'm glad I'm able to do this. I'm off for my normal show.

00:13:55.260 Uh, and I'm so happy to be able to talk to you. Uh, and if you want to follow me on Instagram and X,

00:14:00.920 please do at Garrett Lewis, two R's one T because my mother wanted to make it very difficult for me

00:14:07.340 and everyone else. Uh, Garrett Lewis, two R's one T on X and Instagram, Garrett Lewis radio on Facebook.

00:14:13.840 So this Nicki Minaj thing, again, I, I think this is going to be downplayed and ignored by the media,

00:14:19.060 which should be the first flag that is thrown on the field to let you know, this is really big.

00:14:24.720 This is really Nicki Minaj shows up at AmFest, Nicki Minaj. And again, only because most people

00:14:32.140 wouldn't expect it, but I really think there's many more people that think like us, right? There's

00:14:37.360 many more people that have the common sense. Uh, and, and, and we, we've had enough, we've had enough.

00:14:42.740 We're not stupid. We see what's going on in the world. And, and it's been great. Donald Trump has

00:14:48.040 been phenomenal for many, many things, including making politics understandable. I remember growing

00:14:53.220 up, my mom would have NBC news on cause all there were back then. I feel so old now three channels,

00:14:59.120 right? And you'd have Andrea Mitchell, the chorus sport, foreign correspondent for NBC news. And they'd

00:15:04.780 talk about foreign policy. They'd make it sound difficult. And it's not, it's re it's not.

00:15:10.480 We have leverage. Trump's just doing it for the right reason. That's really what it is.

00:15:17.820 Uh, and, and again, he relates to people, he relates to people. One more really quick from

00:15:22.720 Nicki Minaj yesterday at AmFest. Sometimes, you know, even at, even in the worst feeling times in

00:15:29.480 your life, you think that you're never going to come back from it, but you do. And our president

00:15:36.540 shows that he's been through every single thing a person could be through publicly, um, having to

00:15:44.880 constantly be lied on. Um, it's not really that funny until you are in that person's shoes that's

00:15:55.080 being lied on. You'll never understand what it feels like. That person is a human being. They have a

00:16:02.200 family who has to read those lies. And that's not, and it's just not fair.

00:16:08.320 No, it's not. No, it's not. And she's in the public eye. And the biggest, there's a lot of

00:16:15.480 problems, but I think one of the biggest problems that we have is how people are dehumanized. Like,

00:16:22.920 you know it, I know it. We saw with Charlie Kirk, got a 31 year old guy gets assassinated,

00:16:28.280 leaves behind a wife and two beautiful young children and people are cheering it and mocking

00:16:33.220 it as if he's not an actual real life human being. Nicki Minaj, I'm assuming being in the

00:16:39.980 spotlight that she is right. There's always going to be haters and, and she faces that same stuff

00:16:44.420 and she sees what Donald Trump has gone through. Donald Trump got shot in the ear. Thank God he

00:16:49.180 turned his head. They lied about Trump. They call him all the crazy names, Nazi fascist. They tried to

00:16:57.500 bankrupt him. They tried to throw him in prison to get rid of him and to intimidate anybody from even

00:17:03.700 thinking about running for office or doing something publicly in the same mindset or ideology as, as

00:17:10.040 MAGA and Donald Trump and America first, right? They tried to do all that stuff. And Nicki Minaj is,

00:17:17.780 is saying this is insane what he has gone through. And he has come back for that. And again,

00:17:23.700 it's not just you and me. There's an entire, there's a, I really, I really believe there is a

00:17:29.840 huge amount of people, a human, a huge amount of people that, that agree with this. And you know

00:17:36.300 what? I have so much more to say about this. Um, and you can hit me up on Instagram and Twitter.

00:17:41.760 You can hit me up at Garrett Lewis. Let me know what you think. Um, but when it comes to Trump,

00:17:47.560 she said being lied about Trump took a lot of heat over the Rob Reiner situation. And I got to get

00:17:52.800 to this because people were kind of against what I was, what I, do you think Trump was wrong about

00:17:57.240 the Rob Reiner situation? I have, I, I, I have a different thought process. I'm going to share

00:18:01.340 that with you coming up. Garrett Lewis with you in for Glenn Beck. Real history, real context

00:18:22.160 delivered like never before. January 5th, glennbeck.com. My name is Garrett Lewis. I am

00:18:30.160 sitting in for Glenn Beck. I am in Arizona where it is a very warm Christmas, uh, supposed to be

00:18:38.280 81 degrees today. I'm on KFYI in Phoenix, KNST in Tucson. And I am so glad that you are here with me.

00:18:46.300 And I am honored to be able to hang out with you. Uh, and again, I have to do this in order to

00:18:53.200 keep my sanity. Uh, and I'll, and I'll get to all that stuff because I, I have, I have some stories

00:18:59.180 and I, I really feel that everything in life revolves around Seinfeld. So I have definitely

00:19:04.440 some Seinfeldian stuff because I'm Jewish. My wife is Lutheran. I, uh, she's my shiksa. And,

00:19:10.220 and I will get to this because we, we have stuff going on with Hanukkah, Christmas, Christmas Eve,

00:19:15.580 all this stuff. I'll, I'll get to all that. And I'm sure you can relate to it, but let me get back

00:19:20.580 to this. We had some great positivity with Nicki Minaj and I have, I've even more with Nicki Minaj,

00:19:24.680 so many more soundbites, uh, because it's all about being able to critically think.

00:19:29.380 And that it's such a big deal because propaganda is the most powerful in my mind, the most powerful

00:19:35.880 weapon that there is. You say things over and over and over, people start to actually believe it.

00:19:41.060 Say with authority, people actually start to believe that too. And that's where Rob Reiner came in. And it

00:19:46.640 was gruesome. Look, there's no way around it. Nobody is rooting or celebrating Rob Reiner and his wife's

00:19:51.380 murder. No way. It's just awful. Nobody deserves that. Nobody deserves that. Um, Donald Trump,

00:19:59.140 our president wrote on truth, social, a response to Rob Reiner being murdered. Was it weird? Yes.

00:20:05.360 You can't deny that Rob Reiner and his wife were killed by his son, allegedly. Um, and, and president

00:20:14.880 Trump suggested it was something different. And at first you're like, oh man, this is a little bit weird,

00:20:19.260 but I think this is where we get to be too nice. And that's why I'm going to talk, uh, in, in the next

00:20:24.820 hour about how I think that target lady that got harassed by that nut job, she was way too nice. 1.00

00:20:32.440 But I think that sometimes we are too nice because we're good people like, and, and, and by the way,

00:20:38.080 just because you're not uber nice, doesn't mean you're a bad person either. A lot of things have

00:20:44.540 happened over the last five years. It's changed me as it changed you. So if you don't know,

00:20:51.280 president Trump put on truth, social Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very talented

00:20:57.120 movie director and comedy star has passed away together with his wife, Michelle reportedly due

00:21:02.140 to the anger he caused others through his massive unyielding and incurable affliction with a mind

00:21:08.220 crippling disease known as Trump derangement syndrome, sometimes referred to as TDS. That's part of

00:21:13.780 the truth social post. And you read that and you're like, all right, listen, you have to be a bit of

00:21:18.280 an egomaniac and a narcissist to run for president. And Trump's making this death all about him. It's 0.92

00:21:23.820 a bit weird. It's a bit weird. You're like, Oh, what's good. What's going on here? He continued.

00:21:28.900 He was known to have driven people crazy by his raging obsession of president Donald J. Trump

00:21:33.880 with his obvious paranoia, reaching new heights as the Trump administration surpassed all goals and

00:21:39.780 expectations of greatness. And with the golden age of America upon us, perhaps like never before.

00:21:46.860 So he never celebrated the death. And you look at that. And at first glance, you might say, Oh,

00:21:53.880 this is just awful. Like what the heck is going on? Would it be something that you would do? And

00:21:58.280 you're like, no, I would never do that. And I completely understand. But then I remember

00:22:03.760 watching way too much of what was then called MSNBC. Now it's MS now that'll change it, right? New name

00:22:14.000 that'll change it. Uh, and then CNN and they would have Rob Reiner on quite a bit, especially on MSNBC.

00:22:22.500 And he would just say the most vile, awful things about president Trump. He would lie.

00:22:32.180 Rob Reiner. And the more you watched it and, and I started looking it up more cause I knew he would

00:22:38.020 do it. And then I, I found a gazillion clips of him saying the craziest things. And I'm like,

00:22:42.980 this guy was trying to overthrow president Trump's first term. He, he, what are the odds that some

00:22:49.660 movie producer and actor, a director, whatever he was in Hollywood would be working with four

00:22:55.740 former CIA directors on his committee to investigate Russia nonprofit. He had Rob Reiner working with four

00:23:06.580 former CIA directors and Jay Johnson, who was the Homeland security director. Those guys were all on the

00:23:11.640 board and there were others. There were other former CIA high level people on it as well. And I'm like,

00:23:17.220 all right, is Rob Reiner in on this? This is what the CIA does. Is he just a, is he a useful idiot? Is he

00:23:24.060 part of it? Rob, we're going to need you to spread this propaganda to the American public. I mean, that's what

00:23:29.800 the CIA does. And that's what he did. And he would say the craziest stuff. So I looked at this and said, cause my

00:23:39.140 wife got into it with me, Oh, Trump couldn't, he shouldn't have done that. He shouldn't have done

00:23:42.620 that. And blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And I said, do you realize what Trump has gone

00:23:47.740 through? Just like Nicki Minaj said, just, I played it a few minutes ago. He's lied about, they say the

00:23:54.800 worst things about this guy. If this happened to you, if you had as much negativity and lies spewed

00:24:04.440 about you, like Donald Trump, would you not look at the world a little bit differently? Would you not

00:24:08.660 react a bit differently? I mean, I think you would. I found an incredible clip. It's on my ex at Garrett

00:24:16.460 Lewis. If you want to go see it, scroll down a little bit. Um, actually I'll retweet it. So it goes to the

00:24:21.180 top right now at Garrett Lewis, but this is Rob Reiner several years ago. Um, I believe this is during

00:24:30.320 Trump's first term. He's down at the border on MSNBC with Joy Reed, by the way, it's Rob and his wife.

00:24:38.320 And they say just the most vile things. They act as if there's no, there was no crisis on the border.

00:24:45.260 Uh, listen to this. There is no crisis except for the one that Donald Trump created. There is no crisis

00:24:52.140 here. Uh, but he created one and clearly all he's interested in at this point, let's cut

00:25:00.280 to the chase. This is about racism. This is pure and simple racism. That's all this is. He's hoping

00:25:06.940 that the people who support him will be ginned up and, and, and, and running to the polls to make

00:25:13.500 sure that Brown people don't come into America. They follow the exact pattern that Hitler has. 1.00

00:25:18.460 I hate to say it. That's his wife. Even down to the red cross went into Auschwitz. They cleaned it up

00:25:24.220 for two days. It looked fine. They went back. They said, everything seems fine there, you know,

00:25:28.640 and it's a fascist playbook. And it's shocking that there are 40%, as you say, or 46%. Yeah.

00:25:35.380 Those people who are supporting what he's doing here are racist period. There it is. So again,

00:25:43.300 you hear that stuff and don't just sit back and say, you know what? Maybe, uh, maybe Trump has a right

00:25:47.880 to be a bit mad, right? Just, just a little bit. So if you support president Trump, you're a racist.

00:25:57.360 And by the way, this is just one, like there are hundreds of interviews that Rob Reiner did. 0.96

00:26:04.700 There's like a 22 minute interview that he did for CNN. He actually was the one asking questions to

00:26:12.160 John Brennan and James Clapper. He let them put out all the lies about the propaganda, about the Russia

00:26:20.300 hoax. They were the ones that were behind it. They're the ones that got the idea from Hillary and

00:26:26.800 took it to the next level. They knew what they were doing. So Donald Trump wrote that.

00:26:34.460 Do you still think it was too much? Because in my mind, if you think it was too much, you're too nice.

00:26:40.360 You're too nice. So Donald Trump wrote that he didn't celebrate the death of this guy.

00:26:50.700 But look at what the left has done to you and your family. I look at them and how they've done,

00:26:56.300 what they've done to my family and me. Like we can't forget these things.

00:27:01.400 We just can't. That's why I was so, so happy that when President Trump tricked the media

00:27:13.080 into playing his address to the nation, where he pretty much was like,

00:27:17.380 these are the great things I've done over the past year. They thought, I mean, he used Tucker Carlson,

00:27:23.460 who's like, I remember a Congress telling me that we're going to go to war Venezuela. That's what

00:27:27.100 Trump's going to say. And all the network's like, oh my God, we have to carry Trump because he might

00:27:30.580 say we're going to war with Venezuela. And Trump gets up there, doesn't say a thing about Venezuela,

00:27:34.660 talks about all his great accomplishments. I thought it was awesome. I thought it was hilarious.

00:27:39.280 People need to see it because the media won't report it that way. They just won't. People need

00:27:44.320 to be reminded

00:27:45.140 of how bad things were. People need to be reminded of the facts. Like again, this is just one clip. I don't

00:27:53.080 want to bore you and play a million clips of Rob Reiner saying the craziest of crazy things. I have

00:27:58.160 one where he talked about how we, the fact that there is a Russian agent in the White House that's

00:28:05.220 actually more dangerous than us getting hit with an atom bomb by Russia. He actually said that.

00:28:11.060 I mean, that should be your first clue, right? So he, he's out there. His job was to basically

00:28:15.480 lie to people, to trick them, right? But we need to be reminded of all these things.

00:28:21.700 And, and I brought this up on my show that's in Phoenix and in Tucson.

00:28:26.420 You need to be reminded of this because I may not ever forget my, uh, my wife, when she gave birth to

00:28:31.780 our first, if I were to say, eh, like the next day or two or a couple of days after that, Hey, you know

00:28:40.580 what? This whole baby thing's pretty good. He's kind of cute. Let's do this again. She, I'd be a dead man,

00:28:45.620 right? I mean, childbirth. I've never done it. I, despite what liberals and Democrats think, I can't

00:28:52.300 do it. I'm very happy about that. My wife had quite a time doing it. I'm sure if you gave birth,

00:29:00.500 you know what it's like. Um, it's, it's a painful, traumatic, excellent, but painful and traumatic

00:29:07.480 experience. Yet like a year later, two years later, three years later, there are women that are like,

00:29:12.480 let's do it again. And to me, if, if you forget how excruciating it is to give birth, then you need

00:29:22.380 to be reminded about the crazy things Rob Reiner said. You need to be reminded how bad the economy

00:29:27.740 was under Joe Biden. I mean, it was only, I'm looking at a white house tweet when Biden was

00:29:33.500 there from four years ago, a white house tweet when Biden was supposedly in charge where they're

00:29:40.360 talking about the China virus scam. And they actually wrote for the unvaccinated, you're 0.76

00:29:46.080 looking at a winter of severe illness and death for yourselves, your families, and the hospitals.

00:29:52.180 You may soon overwhelm do the right thing to get vaccinated winter of death. Do you remember that?

00:29:59.060 So they've done so many crazy things. That's why I'm like, you know what? I just, I really don't think

00:30:03.900 that what Donald Trump wrote in the scheme of things is that the Democrats led 20 plus million

00:30:10.420 illegals walk right across the border, including gang members and terrorists. And you're worried 0.64

00:30:14.220 about a Rob Reiner thing. I mean, what, come on, you gotta be kidding me. But you know what? I think

00:30:21.860 the country is, is really changing in that aspect. It's really changing. Um, and I, and I know this

00:30:30.000 because at, at, at AmFest, JD Vance said something that normally would have gotten so many people

00:30:37.220 up in arms. So many, did you hear what it was? I'll play that for you. I have it for you. Coming

00:30:44.700 back. Garrett Lewis with you. So glad to be here. Sitting in for Glenn Beck. Here's a friendly tip.

00:30:53.880 Always drink upstream of the herd. If you know, you know.

00:31:00.000 Glenn Beck.

00:31:14.700 My name is Garrett Lewis. Sitting in for Glenn Beck in sunny, warm Arizona. I'm on KFYI and KNST

00:31:23.020 every weekday afternoon. Thank you so much for hanging out with me. Uh, AmFest was just

00:31:30.460 here. And, and again, uh, played to a lot of Nikki. I have more Nikki Minaj to play and I will get to

00:31:36.180 all of that stuff because it was, it was really remarkable and it gives me a lot of hope, right?

00:31:40.700 This is what this time of the year is for. It's, it's for hope and things like that. Uh, vice

00:31:45.060 president Vance was there as well. And we're, we're, we're saying things now that just a year

00:31:52.600 or two ago, we, if we said these things, the media would be in an uproar. This is what vice

00:31:59.380 president Vance said yesterday at AmFest. In the United States of America, you don't have to

00:32:06.460 apologize for being white anymore. Something as simple as that. Something as simple as that.

00:32:14.660 You don't have to apologize for being white anymore. Uh, thank you. Thank you. He's not wrong. 1.00

00:32:22.660 Maybe it was about 10 years ago in Arizona. There's the second biggest County in Arizona is

00:32:29.100 Pima County. And there was a supervisor there. Her name was Allie Miller. And she wrote something

00:32:33.960 about like, you know, I'm not ashamed of being white. And it became like this big local story

00:32:38.100 because the big local left media was like, you're racist for saying that. What are you talking about?

00:32:43.280 So JD Vance said that. And I think that our side, our team makes a bigger deal about him saying that

00:32:49.880 because even the media, they've thrown in the towel. They're like, all right, you know,

00:32:53.360 people are okay with this because there's nothing wrong with it. And it's something that Nicki Minaj

00:32:58.420 even touched on. And she's like, yeah, there's nothing wrong with this stuff.

00:33:02.460 So I think we've come a very, very long way, uh, in a very short amount of time too. And we're very

00:33:09.440 impatient people. We want likes, we want follows, we want instant gratification. We want all of these

00:33:15.100 things because we're able to get things so quickly now. But JD Vance saying that, I don't apologize

00:33:21.040 for being white anymore. Just that one, two years ago, a year ago, that's a race. Maybe not a year 0.99

00:33:26.680 ago because a year ago, Trump's president elect and people have had enough. And, um, yeah, I know

00:33:31.740 we're, we're good. Media won't even attack him over this. They're not even going to say anything.

00:33:37.300 Again, our side made a bigger deal of this than the other side, because the media realizes if they

00:33:43.580 bring this up and try to frame it as, man, JD Vance is a racist, they're going to get destroyed.

00:33:50.120 They're going to get destroyed. And they have other hoaxes. They're trying to push on people.

00:33:54.660 So we've come a very long way. I'm very happy with this stuff. I can't wait. The economy is doing

00:33:59.240 okay. It's going to get even better. It has to. He did in the first one. It'll happen again here.

00:34:04.240 Um, but I have a lot more to get to. Uh, again, I don't like, you know, I like being nice,

00:34:08.540 but not too nice. The target lady, she was attacked. I think she was way too nice in what 1.00

00:34:13.400 she said. I have that. And a bus driver got fired. Wait till you hear why the bus driver got fired.

00:34:18.360 I have it all for you. Garrett Lewis in for the great Glenn Beck.

00:34:25.420 This is Glenn Beck.

00:34:36.880 My name is Garrett Lewis sitting in for Glenn Beck. Thank you so much for being here with me.

00:34:42.020 the target lady, the target lady, a nice target lady, Jeannie. She's so nice. She should not have 1.00

00:34:48.340 gotten harassed and berated. But would you believe that I have a problem with her? I have a problem

00:34:53.540 with the target lady. And I think you should too. That's coming up here on the Glenn Beck program.

00:34:58.820 Garrett Lewis with you sitting in for Glenn Beck. And I appreciate you hanging out with me. You can

00:35:13.440 follow me on X and Instagram at Garrett Lewis, two R's and one T because again, my, uh, my mom wanted to

00:35:19.420 make it very difficult on Facebook, Garrett Lewis radio there. And I look forward to sharing all kinds

00:35:25.140 of things and hearing what you have to say, good or bad. It's all good. I actually really do enjoy

00:35:29.440 the bad. And that, I mean, that's just how it is. Um, so, uh, AmFest, I'm here in Arizona. I'm on

00:35:36.640 KFYI and KNST in afternoons and, uh, AmFest. Uh, I am in the Phoenix area. It just happened

00:35:46.420 and they had some special guests last hour played the Nicki Minaj stuff. I have more Nicki Minaj. I need

00:35:51.440 to get to, but then they brought out the target lady, this nice old lady. Her name is Jeannie 1.00

00:35:56.840 Beeman. If you don't know about this video, uh, it went viral. It's everywhere. I have some before

00:36:03.820 you don't have to play the whole thing, but, um, Jeannie Beeman is this nice old lady out, I believe 1.00

00:36:10.600 in Chico, California, and she's working at a target. And again, how far have we come to where target

00:36:16.820 workers are allowed to wear a Charlie Kirk freedom shirts, right? We've come a very long

00:36:24.600 way. We want more. I get it, but we've come a very long way. So she's wearing the target classic

00:36:30.320 khaki pants and the red shirt, but she's got a freedom shirt. So of course a typical commie nut 0.76

00:36:35.640 job, uh, this lady named Michaela Ponce. She sees this nice old lady in a red shirt and she gets 1.00

00:36:43.280 triggered because it says freedom and Charlie Kirk. And remember, she's a con because if you are doing

00:36:49.320 something or wearing something or liking something that they disagree with, you must change or they

00:36:54.900 will try to crush your soul. And that's, that's just how they are. Right. And if you missed it,

00:37:00.940 this lady is such a dull, this Michaela Ponce. This is a lady. She works as a medical assistant 1.00

00:37:06.720 for a company in California that said they had over 6,000 profane calls, messages left for them,

00:37:13.760 which I thought that was awesome. It's about time our side started speaking up, right? Yeah. That's

00:37:19.920 just mean. Come on. Listen, nice guys finish last. Okay. Nice guys finish last. So this Michaela

00:37:29.140 Ponce sees this lady, if you don't know, I'm sure you do, but if you don't know and, and starts

00:37:33.320 berating her, not just berating her, recording it. So she records herself sounding like a psycho 0.96

00:37:38.600 and then she decides to post it on her Tik TOK thinking it was a good thing what she did to

00:37:44.760 this nice old lady. Why? They let you wear that shirt here? Yes. Why? Why are you taking my picture? 1.00

00:37:52.820 Why are you wearing that shirt? You're working. It's not a target shirt. It's a red shirt. I can wear

00:37:57.080 a red, any red shirt. It's not a plain shirt. It doesn't have to be a Charlie Kirk shirt. Yes.

00:38:04.060 Oh yes, I know. Are you stupid? No. Why don't you wear that? You're at work at target. That's 1.00

00:38:10.320 not a target shirt. It's not a plain red shirt. So anyway, that's all you need. And it went from

00:38:15.240 there. It's on my Instagram at Garrett Lewis. If you want to go see the whole thing uncensored for

00:38:18.780 yourself, have Adam, my ex as well, a Garrett Lewis. Uh, it went on for like a minute and nine

00:38:25.000 seconds that way. Some cursing, some this, some that. And this lady not only is mean, 1.00

00:38:31.540 but she decides again, like I said, to post it. Let me, let me post being a bully and a jerk 1.00

00:38:38.500 and it's okay. Cause again, dehumanizing, right? She, you're not a real person. I don't care about 1.00

00:38:44.020 your feelings. I don't care about what may happen to you. You're wearing something I don't like.

00:38:47.260 You're not a real person. It's the dehumanizing thing is a big deal. It's a huge deal. That's what

00:38:53.020 the Nazis did. They dehumanized Jews and anybody else that they wanted to kill. So that was awful. 0.99

00:39:02.080 I don't know about you, but I think that lady should lose her job. She didn't do it at her work, 1.00

00:39:07.140 but she should lose her job because if she worked for me, I'm like, listen, you're not going to cause

00:39:13.580 my business to get hurt. There's accountability for your actions. Even if you're not working,

00:39:19.800 you're still representing my company. Uh, this is not how you're supposed to act. And if you do this

00:39:25.260 to some lady that that's in a target, what if, what if a patient shows up in a MAGA hat or a Charlie 1.00

00:39:32.060 Kirk shirt, right? I think that lady should lose her job. She hasn't been fired yet. I'm sure they're 1.00

00:39:38.340 going to let it go. And they're going to hope all this blows over because there's a million things

00:39:42.400 that happen every day and people are going to forget about it. Uh, I haven't heard that she got

00:39:46.620 fired. So I'm assuming she's not going to get fired. Her company had a, the CEO had a press

00:39:51.440 conference. He's like, look, we're not gonna talk about personal matters, blah, blah, blah. Anyway,

00:39:55.480 Jeannie Beeman, the nice lady from target. And again, the target manager is like, Oh yeah, no, 1.00

00:39:59.520 we're fine with her wearing that shirt, which did you ever think that would happen? Jeannie Beeman 0.99

00:40:03.700 came out and she's so nice. And at the same time, so wrong. I know people are calling for her to be

00:40:10.000 fired. Do you think that that's right? Would you like that to happen? No, I don't think that's,

00:40:16.480 that's right. Like one thing I have is two wrongs. Don't make a right. It's not wrong. She wronged

00:40:23.960 me, but I don't want to wrong her or I don't want her, her wrong because it's not going to make it

00:40:30.200 right. I mean, that was her opinion. She, but she's the one that put it on Facebook or put it

00:40:38.480 on, on that. So, you know, but I, I really wouldn't want to see her, somebody lose their job

00:40:48.000 over it. I mean, she's such a nice person and such a sweetheart, but we have to get out of this

00:40:54.780 mindset. And I guess she was probably in a tough situation because I mean, if she said, yeah,

00:40:58.700 she should lose her job, people say, oh, you're so mean. I mean, honestly, I don't care. And at

00:41:03.180 this point, I just don't. And we talk about accountability all the time, right? I mean, you

00:41:11.160 want to, I don't know about you, but I want to see Fauci get a perp walk. Like I'm the one person

00:41:16.120 I'm really disappointed in is Pam Bondi. All these people did some really bad things. Comey,

00:41:23.180 Letitia James, Fauci. We, we know the people that took advantage. We know that Clapper,

00:41:30.060 Brennan, all these people, right? And I know what they did is not exactly what this

00:41:37.400 complete Karen did in this target, but we want accountability, right? My kid, when he does

00:41:46.300 something wrong, no, you're going to be held accountable for this. I'm not just letting it go

00:41:51.500 because the behavior is never going to change. I think that this genie is way too nice. 1.00

00:41:57.480 She should have said, you know what? She caused a lot of grief in my life. She can't do things 1.00

00:42:02.620 like that. You know, if her employer decides to fire her, that's a consequence. I think we're

00:42:08.200 all responsible for our actions. And this genie being this nice old old lady, she did a great

00:42:14.080 thing. She was so nice. She, she tried to defuse the situation. She walked away. She wasn't 1.00

00:42:19.560 combative and that's just fine. But now, I mean, I think that this lady needs to pay the price 1.00

00:42:24.660 because she eventually apologized four or five days later.

00:42:30.600 But the only reason she apologized is because her world was turned upside down.

00:42:35.240 If you don't realize that it's not right to berate somebody about a shirt they're wearing

00:42:40.420 because you don't like it. And then you decide to post it to try to ruin their life.

00:42:48.420 You don't think that's wrong. You're never going to change. It's never going to happen.

00:42:55.020 And I want the other side to be held accountable. They always go after us.

00:43:00.960 They always do.

00:43:05.980 We have an opinion that they don't like. They want to get us fired.

00:43:09.900 We, we want immigration laws enforced. They've tried to get us fired.

00:43:18.280 How many people were harassed because they didn't come out and say they didn't support

00:43:21.740 Black Lives Matter? Remember when in, in, in 2020, there'd be mobs of people going up and

00:43:27.540 down streets and they would berate people at restaurants. Do you support Black Lives Matter?

00:43:31.780 They'd be, no, you know what? Accountability. I think Jeannie should, was way too nice. 0.99

00:43:38.600 And I'm not mad at her for this, but this is why we always finished last.

00:43:44.180 We lose with dignity. I don't know about you, but I'm sick of it. I don't want to lose with

00:43:47.820 dignity anymore. I want to be done with this stuff. They need to start paying the price for this.

00:43:53.640 And maybe, you know, I changed a little bit with the whole China virus game. I changed a bit

00:43:59.080 going back five years when they started trying to put masks on my kids' faces and they started,

00:44:06.500 they, they want Joe Biden. We always forget this. Joe Biden tried to make it to where

00:44:11.620 we had to get a COVID shot to have a job.

00:44:14.380 They would lie. They would cheat. They would steal. They would try to censor us. Like,

00:44:21.700 I mean, we're not bad people if we say that lady should get fired. And that's exactly what should 1.00

00:44:30.240 happen. Hasn't happened yet. I doubt it's going to happen, but it should happen because enough is

00:44:38.480 enough. And we've, I don't know about, I would think that we're taking enough and you could sit

00:44:43.720 back. Look, I'm Jewish, right? You might say, I'm a Christian. I don't want this stuff. I want to be,

00:44:48.160 you could have all those great values. But again, would you not hold your kid accountable for this

00:44:53.440 stuff? And that's the way I look at it. I do everything, right? My, listen, my, my two kids play

00:45:02.620 ice hockey. My oldest plays travel ice hockey. My youngest is going to start travel next year if he makes

00:45:07.020 the team. And I pretty much work not for financial security and all this other stuff. I work to make

00:45:13.220 sure my kids can play travel ice hockey. It's just insane. There's the kids sports is the biggest

00:45:17.460 racket that goes on today. And you know what? It's great in the, I give up my life, which is not great,

00:45:26.320 but it's great because it instills values and hard work. And not a lot of kids are like, I'm so excited

00:45:34.500 to go to school and get great grades and all this others. My son knows he has to do all that. If he

00:45:39.640 wants to continue to play, he knows he has to make his bed. He knows he has to do his homework. He knows

00:45:45.840 he has to take out the garbage or there's going to be accountability. Guess what? You're going to

00:45:53.000 explain to your coach why you're not going to be at practice. I don't think he's going to be happy

00:45:56.340 when you say, you know what? I forgot to take out the garbage. I forgot to do this. I forgot to do

00:46:01.900 that. Accountability is a big deal. We always wanted on our side and yet we can't have it for

00:46:07.920 that. Come on, give me a break. Accountability is a big deal and you have to, you have to be willing

00:46:13.340 to fight. That's the one thing. And I'm, I love it with Trump. I would get so frustrated Republicans

00:46:18.100 that would just give up. They get hit by the media, hit by the Democrats and just take it. Trump punches

00:46:24.240 back and that's what we need to happen. And look at what's happening. Target's allowing Charlie

00:46:30.720 Kirk shirts to be worn by employees. We're punching back. If you don't punch back, you're

00:46:37.040 going to get taken advantage of over and over and over again. You can let me know what you

00:46:40.740 think about that. Hit me up with messages on Instagram and X at Garrett Lewis. And I would

00:46:47.800 like to, I definitely would like to read those because there's some other crazy stuff that's

00:46:51.080 happening too. Like we've had it with this stuff in this, in this country. There was a school

00:46:56.020 bus driver that wanted just, just to have more control over her bus with the students. 1.00

00:47:02.980 Wait till you hear what she did that got her fired. This is insane. And then I have some

00:47:11.340 more insane stuff. Uh, the UK, Europe, they're losing it when it comes to religion, freedom,

00:47:18.600 all this stuff. Um, you have to hear what is now being banned overseas. And it's, it's in regards

00:47:27.840 to Christmas. It's crazy. Garrett Lewis with you. I'm on in Phoenix and in Tucson on KFYI

00:47:34.700 and KNST every weekday afternoon. So glad to be sitting in for Glenn Beck.

00:47:52.940 Garrett Lewis with you sitting in for Glenn Beck on the Glenn Beck program. And, uh, again, I,

00:47:59.100 listen, I'm an optimistic guy and, and I like winning and I hope we don't see too many of these

00:48:06.900 stories. And I think this one's going to bite these people right in the rear end. There was a bus

00:48:12.060 drive. There was a bus driver out in Pennsylvania who just lost her job, just lost her job. Diane

00:48:21.100 Crawford, 66 years old. She was fired because she was told she put a racially insensitive sign

00:48:30.480 on her bus window, a racially insensitive sign. The sign read quote, out of respect to English

00:48:40.840 only students, there will be no speaking Spanish on this bus. Again, I could see the woke Bob winning

00:48:50.720 two years ago, three years ago, four years ago, all that stuff, all that stuff. Um, but now this

00:48:59.600 isn't going to fly. And not every woke crazy person has gotten the memo yet, but a lot of them have,

00:49:06.740 and they're about to, I think they're about to, uh, she was subcontracted by roarer bus to serve 0.99

00:49:14.600 the, uh, juniata, if I'm pronounced that correctly, County school district 12 years ago.

00:49:19.560 She served the district of the bus driver for more than three decades. And now she got a call

00:49:27.200 from her supervisor overnight saying your contract is now done. Your contract is now done for putting

00:49:36.340 that out there. What? So now speaking English in America, it's not racist speaking. What want to

00:49:43.660 hear her side? I mean, since, since I have you here, um, this is what she told one of local TV stations. She put up this

00:49:51.740 sign, which read out of respect to English only students, there will be no speaking Spanish on this bus. I didn't mean to be

00:49:59.600 racially insensitive or anything like that. Crawford claims she never got to explain that the sign was put up to encourage safe and

00:50:06.940 respectful behaviors and respectful behaviors and was directed at a bilingual student who allegedly had

00:50:12.040 a history of riling up other students. I didn't know if he was bullying somebody, telling them to do

00:50:17.740 something they shouldn't, they shouldn't do. How do you keep control your bus if you have no control? Yeah.

00:50:26.460 So she's saying, I don't know what's going on. I can't understand it. There's a kid that has been

00:50:34.300 doing some things on the bus that make everybody mad. It causes problems. And in America, she put up a 0.87

00:50:42.660 sign that says, just speak English. So I, and basically again, so I can understand what is happening.

00:50:50.200 Because if it's in a language I don't understand, I can't understand. And honestly, at this point,

00:50:54.360 shouldn't we not even have to explain this stuff? Should we just sit back and say, yeah, it's America

00:51:00.500 speak English. We all need to understand each other. Doesn't mean I hate you. You're bad. Like

00:51:08.500 just, this is crazy. This is crazy. Enough with the feelings. And now she is suing that school

00:51:20.320 district. She's suing that company. She's suing them for being fired. 1.00

00:51:26.860 She said, I thought I heard him saying

00:51:29.520 Gordo. And I understand some of the words. I don't know who he was talking about, but I assume he's

00:51:35.020 directing it at me. And again, if it's only one over one kid, and even when you ask for help,

00:51:40.980 you don't get any, like, how do you keep control of your bus? She's looking out for the kids,

00:51:45.560 the safety of the kids. And yet this happened.

00:51:52.600 I think we're past the point of being, again, too nice about this stuff. I'm afraid to offend

00:51:59.280 someone. I mean, it's now coming out a lot that, I mean, Tim Walls, people are driving by Tim

00:52:09.560 Walls' home in Minnesota, calling him the R word. People are okay with this now. And it's nothing

00:52:17.140 against, it's not derogatory to anybody else. Just that person. So this is crazy that something

00:52:26.980 like this happened. And there's even something that Nicki Minaj said about this. Out of all

00:52:32.580 people, again, Nicki Minaj, never in my life did I think, as a talk show host, I'm going to spend a lot

00:52:36.520 of time about Nicki Minaj. But I am in a way. Nicki Minaj is basically saying enough with the

00:52:45.820 feelings. Enough with the feelings. And, and she's, you know, I'll have to do this coming up. I have

00:52:55.540 some more Nicki Minaj. Yeah, she actually brought something like this up. If you're mad, like, again,

00:53:00.500 a bus driver says, please speak English. Again, no, no more Spanish, just English only so we understand

00:53:05.360 what's going on. And she gets fired for this. This is outrageous. And I don't think it's going to fly 0.97

00:53:10.740 and it shouldn't fly. And Nicki Minaj touched on something like this. This is all common sense

00:53:15.580 stuff. And I'm hoping we get it all back. Garrett Lewis in for Glenn Beck. This is Glenn Beck.

00:53:35.360 The American story, the days of ash and dozens more groundbreaking series all in one place. A new

00:53:44.660 world of learning opens January 5th at Glenn Beck.com. Garrett Lewis with you. It is such an honor to be

00:53:53.780 here with you. I do the afternoon show on KFYI in Phoenix, KNST in Tucson, in both markets sitting here

00:54:00.900 in sunny Arizona, where again, it is, uh, it's going to be 81 degrees today. Uh, so you had, uh,

00:54:08.340 you have, you have Christmas. It's supposed to rain though. Apparently there's some rain in the

00:54:12.780 forecast for, uh, Christmas Eve and Christmas day still in this end, like the sixties or seventies

00:54:19.380 though. So it's really not so bad. That's why really quick, by the way, uh, apparently one of our,

00:54:23.400 uh, stations here, uh, goes full Christmas music, uh, starting like, uh, like eight minutes after

00:54:29.840 Halloween is over or something. And it's the number one rated Christmas music station in the

00:54:35.900 country because you drive around when it's 85 degrees, it doesn't really feel like Christmas.

00:54:41.540 So people blast that music to make it feel like it's Christmas. So you, you put on the, uh, SPF 75

00:54:49.400 and you, you hear some Christmas music and you go from there. So, uh, anyway, thank you so much for

00:54:55.240 hanging out with me and I'll get to the, the Nikki, speaking really quick of Christmas. So I'm,

00:55:00.620 I'm Jewish and my wife is not, uh, she's a shiksa. And if, if you've seen, it's kind of funny. 1.00

00:55:08.860 It's somewhat relatable. The, there's a show on Netflix. It's a, the second season just came out

00:55:14.140 about a month ago, maybe called nobody wants this. He's a rabbi. She's a shiksa, which,

00:55:19.820 which is a non-Jewish woman. Um, it, it's pretty funny. It's pretty funny in that aspect. And it 0.98

00:55:28.640 is, since my mom is Jewish, it's very relatable in that aspect. And anyway, um, my wife, even though

00:55:35.080 she's a shiksa, she has taken over raising our boys Jewish and we celebrate everything though.

00:55:41.020 We celebrate Hanukkah, we celebrate Christmas. And it's a crazy time because on Christmas Eve,

00:55:45.400 my oldest son has a birthday. So it's Hanukkah, it's Christmas. Last night was the last night of

00:55:50.520 Hanukkah. Uh, so in two days we have Christmas Eve and then we have Christmas and it's just, it's,

00:55:55.180 it just all blends into one. And my wife goes bananas every single December for this last year, 1.00

00:56:01.360 Hanukkah started on Christmas night. So it was really crazy. But even though she's the shiksa and 1.00

00:56:08.580 I grew up celebrating Hanukkah and my parents would have all the presents in like a corner of the house,

00:56:12.540 right? You get eight presents and my parent, and this is how I grew up. Like it was normal,

00:56:17.720 right? They just wrap, my mom would wrap everything and leave it in the corner. And I would stare at it

00:56:21.840 and try to figure out which was the He-Man, which could have been the Sega game. You know,

00:56:27.040 if you pick the wrong one and this is the torture behind it, right? You pick the wrong present and

00:56:33.360 you're like, ah, here's socks. You have to wait another 24 hours before you can pick one again.

00:56:38.020 So it's a tough choice, but it was your choice to make. Uh, we get married. We have kids.

00:56:46.940 My wife, the shiksa takes over Hanukkah. All right. I haven't written down one through eight, 0.99

00:56:51.260 what they're going to get. I'm like, well, no, they're supposed to choose. No, no, no. I want

00:56:54.680 to be able to control what they have. She's a control freak. I mean, I'm a control freak. She's a 0.97

00:56:58.360 control freak for that stuff. So she tells them, you will open up this tonight. You will open up this

00:57:02.860 tonight to each kid. I'm like, what, what is, what is going on here? I've lost control of my,

00:57:07.980 my holiday. The shiksa took over. She took over. And one thing I've battled with her about 1.00

00:57:14.960 is because she's taken over my holiday is I battled with what her family does on Christmas

00:57:21.180 Eve. And this goes straight back to Seinfeld with Kenny Banya and Seinfeld is super meal.

00:57:26.960 Her tradition with her family on Christmas Eve at dinner is to have mushroom soup. Now granted,

00:57:36.100 I don't know how this happened, but I cook just about everything. She does not. I cook just about

00:57:44.120 everything. I mean, it was so bad when I got into this business and I had a job in Waco, Texas,

00:57:49.620 and she was living in Phoenix. And she's like, I'm not going to Waco. No offense to Waco. We love Waco.

00:57:53.780 She go, I'm not going to Waco with you till I get a ring on my finger. I'm like, I understand.

00:57:58.040 So anyway, she would call my mother who lived in the Phoenix area and say, we were dating and I was

00:58:03.480 in Texas and she's there all here in Phoenix. Hey, can you show me how to make your sauce? This

00:58:07.820 time I'll actually pay attention because she'd con my mom. She'd go, okay, I'll show you. I'll show

00:58:12.900 you, Abby. And then what would happen to my wife would go to my parents' house and she'd fall asleep on 1.00

00:58:16.460 the couch. Wake up just in time to eat. Never learn how to make the sauce. I don't know what happened

00:58:23.420 over the past 15 years, but I became a control freak, maybe because I didn't want to die from

00:58:26.780 food poisoning. I don't know. And, and I, I cook just about everything. So I don't know why I get

00:58:34.860 stuck with this idea of having only soup and bread. Like I'm a prisoner. What's for dinner? Soup and bread.

00:58:43.960 And I've told her for years, I'm like, that's not a meal. Well, this is what my family does.

00:58:47.600 I'm like, why can't I have a steak? And I don't, I don't even know why I asked this stuff. Like,

00:58:52.420 why don't I just do it? And I'm trying to be respectful, I guess, to her tradition,

00:58:59.760 but she took over my family's Hanukkah tradition. So I'm trying to figure out what to do,

00:59:05.640 but she's argued with me. And if you remember that Seinfeld episode, when Kenny Banya gave Jerry

00:59:10.820 Seinfeld an Armani suit, he'd for free, he said, just take me out to dinner or something.

00:59:18.040 And then Kenny Banya said, I'm not that hungry. I'll only have soup. And Jerry said, soup's a meal.

00:59:21.840 And he said, no, soup's not a meal. And I'm the same way. So I get to, not only do I not get

00:59:28.600 full, I have to be stuck making it. She doesn't make the soup and it's her mom's recipe. It's the

00:59:35.760 torture of my life. So I think this year I might just say, forget it. I'll have soup and I'm just

00:59:45.060 going to, I'm going to get a steak. I know my father-in-law, her dad agrees with me, but he,

00:59:50.420 he won't say anything because he doesn't want to upset the apple cart. He's afraid of his wife's

00:59:54.780 wrath. That's, that's just how it is. So I, I think that I, I'm, I'm going to make something.

01:00:00.420 I got to make a New York strip or something. Maybe I'll make one for her dad. Hey, Don, you want,

01:00:04.620 you want something like this? Because it's just weird. I've got to, I got to fill up on bread and

01:00:09.500 mushroom soup. And it just, it doesn't work. It doesn't work in that aspect. Um, so that's my

01:00:14.820 dilemma. You could hit me up on Instagram at Garrett Lewis, send me a message or on Twitter

01:00:18.200 or X, whatever you want to call it at Garrett Lewis, two R's one T. Uh, and let me know what

01:00:22.220 you think. Uh, I mean, I'm telling that lady from Target to be mean and say that other lady 1.00

01:00:26.200 should get fired. I think I should be mean and just say, I'll have the soup and I'm having this

01:00:30.820 got to have a protein with it. You have to, right? You have to, I'm going to keep you convincing

01:00:37.000 myself. You have to. All right. Now that school bus driver who got fired for simply saying,

01:00:44.220 please speak English. And the reason she did is because she wanted to be able to understand

01:00:48.180 what the students were saying so she could have better control over the bus and she gets

01:00:52.780 fired. And this is in Pennsylvania. She's now suing. And just so you know, if you follow

01:00:56.700 me on exit Garrett Lewis, you'd see this, um, Harmeet Dillon who works in the justice department. 0.62

01:01:03.820 She runs the civil rights division. She put on Twitter, this is deeply concerning. I've directed

01:01:09.000 the civil rights division to open up an investigation into this situation, implicating

01:01:13.480 DEI wokeness. Because again, the bus driver driver was fired for writing. This is, you know, English 0.80

01:01:20.280 only at a respect to English only students, there will be no speaking Spanish on this bus. And she

01:01:25.080 was fired for that. And this is why we elected Trump. This is what we want normalcy and common

01:01:30.280 sense back. This doesn't mean I hate you. This is just common sense stuff. It's okay

01:01:35.440 to say, speak English. It doesn't mean I don't like what you're doing. I want to understand

01:01:39.580 it. And this is my culture and my country. If you want to speak your language so much,

01:01:46.960 go back to your country. You come to America, you assimilate. If I went to your country, I'd 1.00

01:01:51.780 learn your language. That's just how it works. And Nicki Minaj, who was incredible. And again,

01:01:58.480 she was at AmFest and Nicki Minaj, to me, this is, this is so awesome for our side and

01:02:04.160 so dangerous for the left because Nicki Minaj has a lot of followers. And Nicki Minaj is

01:02:08.600 now saying everything that you've been saying for years too. Everything. And she did it yesterday.

01:02:15.260 She was on stage. She was the surprise guest with Erica Kirk. And Nicki Minaj brought up

01:02:22.820 that it's okay. It's basically, it's okay to stop feeling sorry about, you know, you being

01:02:31.940 good, you looking good, you wanting to speak English. Listen to this.

01:02:35.380 If as black women, we felt that we were not being represented and not being admired for

01:02:49.720 our beauty. If we felt like that as black women, why would we want to do that to other women? 1.00

01:02:56.000 Why would we now need to make other people downplay their beauty so that we can feel,

01:03:03.840 no, that's not how it works. I don't need someone with blonde hair and blue eyes to downplay their 1.00

01:03:10.540 beauty because I know my beauty. Do you understand? It doesn't bother me that a woman feels and says

01:03:19.400 that she's beautiful. Why shouldn't she feel that? Why have we gotten to a point where

01:03:25.660 certain colors or certain kinds of people have to be afraid of loving themselves and loving the way

01:03:32.340 they look? Thank you. Like, it's, isn't that wild? And then like, what, why should you feel bad about

01:03:39.040 saying English only? It's not discriminatory against people. I want to be able to understand it. We

01:03:46.460 shouldn't even have to explain it. And they should want to speak English. Yes, that's what I want.

01:03:54.740 Imagine teaching a class in nothing but a foreign language and it's too much and it's affecting the

01:04:00.500 language. It's affecting the grades, I should say, of kids across the country because there's all these

01:04:06.000 different languages being taught because people came in from everywhere. Enough is enough, right? 0.93

01:04:11.420 Enough is enough. We have to stop with this. And I think we're getting there. I think we're getting

01:04:17.980 there. Uh, and I, I hope so because like, this is just crazy and we can't become Europe. They are doing

01:04:27.120 some crazy, crazy things in Europe. Um, when it comes to Christmas with some bands on things, I mean,

01:04:35.280 they are still stuck in the woke age. There was a Christmas card that was taken off the shelves.

01:04:41.560 There, there's more, um, there was a Christmas card taken off the shelves and now apparently

01:04:48.380 there is, there's some woke people going nuts, a woke museum issuing guides about Christmas. I have

01:04:58.720 it for you coming up. Garrett Lewis with you sitting in for Glenn Beck.

01:05:02.640 Never put your future in another man's saddlebag or your lunch. You never know where that thing's

01:05:10.440 been. More Glenn Beck in a Jeff.

01:05:32.640 Garrett Lewis with you sitting in for Glenn Beck, uh, from Arizona. I'm in Phoenix. I'm on in Phoenix

01:05:41.540 on KFYI in the afternoon and on KNST as well, which is in the Tucson area in the afternoon. So

01:05:47.820 thank you for hanging out with me and thank you for all the people following me now on social media as

01:05:51.920 well at Garrett Lewis on X and Instagram. I appreciate that. I'll be put on more videos and

01:05:56.720 things like that, especially on Instagram. And I've been posting some stuff on X at Garrett Lewis.

01:06:01.580 So thank you, uh, very much. Now, um, I, I happen to see this, that again, where, where are we,

01:06:08.160 right? We can't turn into Europe. We're getting away from that. And, uh, this would not fly here in

01:06:14.660 America now. This is crazy. Uh, there's a, the second largest grocery store chain in the UK is

01:06:21.440 called Sainsbury. It's Sainsbury's grocery stores. And apparently they are, they are very woke.

01:06:30.180 Um, they had a Grinch Christmas card pulled from the shelves. How offensive was this Grinch Christmas

01:06:39.420 card? Well, it was a picture of the Grinch on the card and he's holding up a, an ornament and it looks

01:06:46.260 like he's going to drop it. And it says this Christmas I'm identifying as a Grinch. And that

01:06:53.140 was it. That was it. Ask yourself, why did they have to pull this card? You may know I'm identifying

01:07:03.980 as a Grinch. I'm identifying as a Grinch. There are insane people that claim that because the Grinch

01:07:15.540 says I'm in, I'm identifying as a Grinch, that it's, wait for it, transphobic. It's transphobic. 0.75

01:07:24.440 You are mocking people that identify as a different sex and not gender. Gender's made up. It's, 1.00

01:07:30.440 it's a sex. You're what? Trans campaigners describe the phrase identifying as, that's what I, 0.98

01:07:40.000 you're no longer allowed to say identifying as, you're not allowed to say, speak, please speak

01:07:46.120 English only. Please do that. Nope. You're identifying as, that's an anti-trans dog whistle.

01:07:55.920 Here's what I don't understand. Like what you're telling me, you're trying to tell me that I have

01:08:02.600 to actually believe when a guy says I'm a woman. I have to believe that, but I can't laugh when it

01:08:11.440 says somebody that is a, is a bit of a Grinch says I identify as Grinch. It says here in the Daily Mail,

01:08:20.280 the card was met with backlash from the trans community. They said it was belittling, belittling

01:08:25.500 and worrying. You have some big problems. If this is belittling and worrying, first off, again,

01:08:35.640 I'm going to hold up the doll, point to the body part that now hurts because of this card.

01:08:41.860 Can we get back to the old days where we just made fun of people like this? Can we do that? We're

01:08:45.940 doing it with Tim Walls. Can we do that? That's in the UK though. That's in the UK. I doubt you're

01:08:50.980 going to actually get away with this here. The publisher of the card is called Emotional

01:08:59.280 Rescue, of course. And they've removed the card. They've pulled it from the grocery stores.

01:09:05.580 They pulled it because they don't want to hurt anybody's feelings. That's really what it is.

01:09:15.340 A lady with the company said it was in no way our intention to cause anyone in the trans community

01:09:19.460 offense. We will remove this design from our range immediately. I just can't. I just can't.

01:09:29.020 It's crazy stuff, isn't it? But they're not done yet. Some more crazy stuff about Christmas that you

01:09:35.300 just have to hear. You have to hear. And I'll follow that with some crazy stuff going on in colleges

01:09:40.680 here in America. And Nicki Minaj though, some positivity with Nicki Minaj. Nicki Minaj,

01:09:47.460 all three of us. What? Yes. Garrett Lewis with you. Thank you for hanging out,

01:09:50.880 sitting in on the Glenn Beck program. This is Glenn Beck.

01:10:02.180 Garrett Lewis with you here on the Glenn Beck program. Listen, I'm Jewish. I'm standing up for

01:10:07.540 Christmas. A woke museum wants to remake Christmas and Santa Claus. And the reasons why 1.00

01:10:13.480 are absolutely insane and yet hilarious at the same time. I have it for you coming up.

01:10:28.320 Thank you for hanging out. Garrett Lewis with you. I am in Arizona. I'm in the Phoenix area. My radio

01:10:33.360 show is weekday afternoons on FYI in Phoenix and KNST in Tucson. I'm very excited to hang out with you and

01:10:40.940 sit in for Glenn Beck on the Glenn Beck program. And I'll be back tomorrow as well. You can follow

01:10:47.440 me on Instagram at Garrett Lewis, two R's one T to, again, my mom made it very difficult, uh, on,

01:10:53.620 on X as well at Garrett Lewis and on Facebook, Garrett Lewis radio. I've been posting things

01:10:57.580 and I just made a short little video. It's on my Instagram story. So it'll be gone within 24 hours,

01:11:03.540 but I'll, I'll be back. So look, I'm Jewish. My wife is not, she's Lutheran. She's the Shiksa. 0.95

01:11:09.520 We celebrate everything. Um, and, and we, we, we do it all. We do it all. Uh, she loves the

01:11:16.320 brisket and the matzo ball soup. And then again, she tries to starve me for Christmas Eve dinner 1.00

01:11:21.540 that she makes me make. I'm like her food slave. Anyway, uh, I happen to see this story. It's from

01:11:27.620 the sun over in the UK and this, I have no, I have no desire to leave the United States.

01:11:34.260 No desire, except maybe for Italy only because I like food. Like I just want to eat pasta and pizza

01:11:40.360 and I just want good food. And if from what I've been told, by the way, the food in, in Great Britain

01:11:46.340 is awful. It's bland. It's got no flavor. It's got no seasoning. Why, why go there? I just don't care.

01:11:52.480 And especially they're crazy people over there. They are crazy. The UK, Australia, France, 1.00

01:11:59.100 they're all giving into terrorists. They're, they're still woke. They always seem to be behind

01:12:05.000 us. I remember like Sassoon jeans went out yet. They were still popular in Europe. There, there was

01:12:10.620 something about them. They're always behind us, right? It's cause we're the best. But anyway,

01:12:15.820 I saw this story about a woke museum in the UK, they want to change Christmas. They put out this,

01:12:27.040 this blog post. If you want to go back to like a 2004 term, it's brightonmuseums.org in the UK,

01:12:35.380 Brighton and Hove museums. And the blog post is decolonizing father Christmas. Okay.

01:12:41.080 You have to be a real psycho, crazy lib to put this one out there. Like there's something 1.00

01:12:50.280 really wrong with you. It was published by somebody named, uh, Simone Le Corbinieri or something like

01:13:00.480 that. Decolonizing father Christmas. And, and what it shows is apparently Santa Claus

01:13:10.880 is too male and he's too white. Not only is he too male and he's too white, he's also terrible 0.99

01:13:20.500 because he judges kids on their behavior. What has this person never had a child before, by the way? 0.65

01:13:32.880 So at this museum where I guess they're really looking for the meaning in life, they have something

01:13:38.240 called a call, our culture change project, our culture. They, they, they take, what they do is

01:13:46.160 they indoctrinate. They take stories that we know and they twist. It's like a public school in America.

01:13:50.880 They take stories and facts that we know and they twist it to be liberal and crazy. That's really what

01:13:57.140 happens right here. Uh, for many children, the story of Santa Claus, they write is as much of a part of

01:14:04.560 Christmas as gifts or Christmas and Christmas dinner, but the tale of a white Western Santa who judges

01:14:11.220 all children's behavior has problems. Listen, we're judging it. They are judging Santa right now. So they

01:14:17.780 were probably Santa judging kids behavior and they're judging Santa. Don't you love that? I mean, it starts

01:14:22.000 right there. So they have something, our culture change project. It's about telling more stories of all of us

01:14:27.760 who helped make history and also challenging accepted narratives. We react, we reevaluate events, reexamine why

01:14:37.260 things happened, who is involved and we reinterpret. They admit how they indoctrinate. They change things. They lie and

01:14:44.880 they indoctrinate. I mean, they're upset with this. Listen, I'm Jewish. If they sat back and said, you know what, Santa should

01:14:51.520 really go to all the Jewish kids' houses too? No, that's not how it works. And that's okay. That's okay.

01:14:59.240 But it's a mental disorder. There's something wrong with it. Like, can you imagine wanting to hang out 0.99

01:15:04.560 with a person like that or being stuck hanging out with a person like this? How miserable they must be?

01:15:09.660 So, uh, they talk about Santa. As he visits each nation, he determines if the children deserve

01:15:20.240 presence based on being naughty or nice. But who decided Santa should be the judge of children's

01:15:26.020 behavior in every community? Uh, Santa did. Isn't that how it works? Wasn't that a great thing too,

01:15:33.840 by the way? Parents saying, yeah, uh, Santa's going to be watching. So their kids behave well.

01:15:39.380 It's a carrot and stick. That's how this works. I told you my kids play sports. You want to play

01:15:43.340 sports? You're going to do your chores. You're going to get good grades. This is what's going to happen.

01:15:49.240 Who decided Santa should judge? These people are demented. 1.00

01:15:55.000 How can he assess, for example, indigenous children practicing their own cultural traditions? 0.99

01:16:00.260 Are these people saying, who wrote this? Cousin Eddie?

01:16:09.720 Told like this, the story presents Santa as the ultimate authority of all societies.

01:16:14.660 This acts, asks us to accept colonial assumptions of cultural superiority. It doesn't recognize the

01:16:20.880 complex realities colonial, colonized people face. Like, listen, I don't know if there are kids

01:16:26.740 listening. I'm not going to say a lot, but does this guy not get it?

01:16:30.260 Does he just not get it?

01:16:34.260 He's talking about Santa erasing indigenous cultural practices and sovereignty?

01:16:41.920 What?

01:16:42.600 They write, for example, in many Santa storybooks of my youth, I said he writes, if it's a guy,

01:16:54.060 who knows? And later, when exploring the story with children in the family, other cultures appeared

01:16:58.760 simply as backdrops for Santa's adventure. There might be a flag and illustrations of children in

01:17:03.840 their national costume, but we learn nothing about those places and people. So do it yourself.

01:17:08.360 Oh, God. This perpetuates the harmful colonial gaze. Non-Western cultures are othered.

01:17:17.360 So you celebrate Santa Claus, you're a colonizer.

01:17:21.500 It says the colonizer has the power to judge all people. Wow. So Santa's a colonizer and he judges all

01:17:30.360 people. No, he judges if kids have been naughty or nice.

01:17:36.160 What do we say by having an old white man supervise the elves' work? He actually wrote that. This dude 0.65

01:17:42.020 actually wrote that. What do we say by having an old white man supervise the elves' work? Is it 0.79

01:17:49.220 something entirely innocent? Elves are magical, mythical beings completely separate from the real 1.00

01:17:54.200 world. Or is there more to it, he writes? Are they representative of other groups? How do they

01:18:00.020 reinforce how marginalized groups view not only father figures, but also themselves?

01:18:06.000 You need a life. What happens in this museum? Is this a real job? He continues, mythical maybe, but elves

01:18:16.000 are identifiably different to what is often presented as normal, which is white, male, and non-disabled.

01:18:25.340 Gotta throw that one in there, right? The non-disabled. And in the stories, the different ones make the 1.00

01:18:31.800 toys and the white, non-disabled man supervises them. So this guy wants elves in wheelchairs?

01:18:40.060 We want non-binary, asexual elves with blue hair that identify as the toys they make. Would 1.00

01:18:52.220 that make you feel better, you psycho? 0.96

01:18:53.800 We can tell the story of Santa in a way that starts to challenge the colonial gaze. Here are 0.90

01:19:07.600 some ideas. So they want to change Santa. Portray Santa as one of many winter gift givers around the

01:19:14.020 world. But it's not a winter, it's people's religion and they want to do this. Let it go. Like, if you

01:19:21.820 don't like Santa, don't do it. Highlight diverse winter traditions and spirits, figures specific to

01:19:29.600 each culture. Have Santa learn about different cultures rather than judge them. He's not judging

01:19:35.360 cultures. What is this guy talking about? Okay. Remove Santa rewarding children based on a Western

01:19:47.840 binary of naughty or nice. Focus on bringing joy to kids of all backgrounds rather than judging

01:19:56.120 them. No, the kids that don't behave, they don't get stuff. Oh boy. Again, this is from a museum

01:20:06.820 in the United Kingdom, Brighton Museum. Include people from around the world in Santa's workshop.

01:20:15.620 This acknowledges global input. Like, whatever this museum is, it's beyond insane. And by the way,

01:20:21.680 they get tax dollars. I've read in this story in the UK, they get tax dollars to put out this

01:20:26.540 garbage. Sounds like America before the second Trump term, doesn't it? Like, we literally dodged a 0.98

01:20:35.620 bullet as he did. Teach about local historical winter traditions. Incorporate them into celebrations.

01:20:45.000 Shut up. Have Santa be a more diverse character who celebrates cultural exchange. Avoid promoting 1.00

01:20:51.000 one culture's dominance. An inclusive adaptation could include many Santas from different regions.

01:20:57.740 Oh boy. And then the last one, this is a great one too. Include some mother Christmases. Patriarchy and

01:21:06.960 colonialism went hand in hand. Show the next generation that men don't have to be in charge. 0.87

01:21:13.920 Oh man. Oh man. Oh man. I mean, look, Santa has to do the job. He's like, he has to escape that one

01:21:25.680 night because he gets 364 days of nagging from Mrs. Claus. Let's just face it. Right. That's just how

01:21:30.980 it works. The goal is moving away from a colonial narrative of dominance. Tell a story that emphasizes

01:21:38.600 cultural diversity exchange and respect. That is from brightonmuseums.org.uk. And again, they get

01:21:48.240 taxpayer dollars over there. They were granted 900,000 pounds of taxpayer cash to teach kids

01:21:56.620 that Santa is a colonizer and he judges all people.

01:22:01.880 America's looking a lot better now, isn't it? Looking a lot better. Look, Nicki Minaj, I've been

01:22:09.700 talking about her all morning. She was at AmFest. I have more soundbites you have here. It's kind

01:22:13.840 of related to this too, because this is what's up. I'll be honest with you. It's hard for me as a Jew

01:22:22.840 to find a synagogue because it's not that every Jew is liberal. And look, there's plenty of Catholics 0.67

01:22:29.900 and Christians that are liberal too. It's hard for me because you might find this a bit odd as a

01:22:41.980 talk show. It's hard for me to listen to other people's opinions quite a bit. Don't tell me how to

01:22:46.940 live. I think I have a pretty good idea. It's good to hear. I get it. Perspective. But I'm all about being

01:22:55.680 a free thinker. And this is not free thinking. Again, this is just talking down this museum and

01:23:02.700 indoctrinating in that aspect. I mean, it's a blessing and a curse. I tell my kids, question

01:23:08.780 everything and critically think. And they're in certain schools. Here in Arizona, we have charter

01:23:12.980 schools. The ultimate in school choice, the freest state in the country for school choice. We put our

01:23:19.820 kids in specific schools where they're allowed to think for themselves. They're taught to critically

01:23:24.780 think. This is what is needed. Nicki Minaj brought this kind of stuff up. And again, would you have

01:23:32.700 ever thought, I'm not a big Nicki, I'm not a Nicki Minaj. I don't even know her songs. I'm a Billy Joel

01:23:37.280 guy. But you have to hear what she said yesterday at AmericaFest. And I think this is why the media is

01:23:41.600 going to hope this. They never want to report it because Nicki Minaj, her influence, her power,

01:23:46.140 her making it acceptable to think this way and give these opinions and actually support

01:23:50.640 President Trump and, you know, freedom and conservatism. It's a good thing. I have it

01:23:55.920 for you coming up. Garrett Lewis with you on the Glenn Beck Program.

01:23:59.340 Garrett Lewis with you from Arizona, from the Phoenix area. I'm on in Phoenix on KFYI in the

01:24:18.060 afternoons and in Tucson on KNST on both stations. Lucky enough to do that. Thankful enough to be

01:24:25.700 asked to sit in the big giant seat for Glenn Beck here on the Glenn Beck Program. I'll be back again

01:24:30.560 tomorrow to entertain you more and to, of course, get me out of my house so I don't drive my entire

01:24:36.720 family crazy because even like one day off, I start to get paranoid and I start to drive my wife a

01:24:44.720 little bit nuts. But that's her problem. That's her problem. So I'm glad even on my time off, I'm able

01:24:49.720 to actually still work. So Nicki Minaj was at AmFest, which was in Phoenix. She was a surprise

01:24:56.280 guest. And again, Nicki Minaj had like 230 million followers on Instagram before she took it down for

01:25:01.880 whatever reason. 25 million followers on on X or Twitter, whatever you want to call it. She I mean,

01:25:08.600 I don't know. I'm on TikTok. She probably has gazillions, hundreds of millions following her on

01:25:13.020 TikTok. And she's been very outspoken about Christians being persecuted in Nigeria, very

01:25:19.420 outspoken in her support, apparently for President Trump. Again, I don't know this. I don't know her

01:25:24.600 songs. I don't any of this stuff. But if Nicki Minaj has his opinion, I know others have this

01:25:31.880 opinion. It's not what normal, I guess, stereotypical conservatives would would sit back and think,

01:25:37.900 all right, here's a Trump supporter. Here's a MAGA. Here's America first. It's just common sense

01:25:41.920 stuff. And that's what Trump's whole thing was, by the way, just we're doing common sense things.

01:25:45.700 But when you get into the entire racket and the money making ability of laundering and things like

01:25:50.140 that of the Democrats and the rhinos, they don't like you. But anyway, Nicki Minaj had very interesting

01:25:56.160 things to say. And again, the media, her influence, she's going to make it acceptable for a lot of for 0.94

01:26:03.040 hundreds of tens of millions of people, if not more. To think this same way and go, it's not just me,

01:26:08.920 right? It was like the first Trump term. People would whisper, hammer Trump support. We don't

01:26:13.160 whisper anymore. We don't. And there's a lot of people that don't even realize they agree with

01:26:16.900 this. And God bless Nicki Minaj for being this brave. Listen to this from AmFest.

01:26:21.680 The other people, they're the ones who are still just disgruntled, but really,

01:26:27.920 they're just disgruntled with themselves. They are angry with themselves.

01:26:33.040 Yep. The haters. So you can't wake up and think about somebody who is determined to just

01:26:40.920 stay mad. Like that guy. I literally tell him, stay mad. Stay mad. Because we're going to stay

01:26:48.180 joyful and peaceful and iconic and smart. And we're going to stay thinkers in a world that

01:26:57.720 doesn't want us to think we will think. Wow. By ourselves or on our own. We will continue to

01:27:05.320 think. That was huge. All that was big, right? The ones that are miserable, the one that wrote

01:27:11.080 that whole thing about Santa being a colonizer, like you are a miserable human being. You can't 1.00

01:27:17.360 just see the joy in life. And what Nicki Minaj said at the end of that statement.

01:27:24.720 In a world that doesn't want us to think we will think. By ourselves or on our own. We will

01:27:33.320 continue to think. That's it. Because the left doesn't want you to do that. The rhinos don't want

01:27:41.520 you to do that. That's why they wanted to control the internet. That's why they want to make things

01:27:45.940 more confusing than they have to be about politics. And they are freaking out because

01:27:50.880 politics or pop culture. I was just at a wedding. I had a buddy and is beautiful. Now wife,

01:27:58.680 second marriages. We were at a wedding last Saturday. So like a week and a half ago.

01:28:04.780 She has three kids. One of them's in high school. He's 16 years old.

01:28:10.100 And I was in the wedding party. Strange at age 48 to be in a wedding party, but I was in the wedding

01:28:14.240 party. And this 16 year old comes up to me and he says, Hey, you're trending in my high school.

01:28:19.800 So what are you talking about? You're trending. He said, we take your videos from Twitter and

01:28:25.760 Instagram. We put them on Tik TOK and we share them around. I, that's what you guys do. Yeah.

01:28:32.700 It's freaking out the left. It's freaking out the media, everybody. Cause kids, young people,

01:28:37.660 they, they, there are some that are clueless, but some that really get it. I have more coming up.

01:28:42.040 Garrett Lewis with you in for Glenn. This is Glenn Beck.

01:28:46.540 It's a new era. Days of ash history, Glenn AI, and a community built for truth seekers.

01:29:09.240 And it all begins January 5th at glennbeck.com. Garrett Lewis with you. I am in Arizona.

01:29:16.520 Arizona. I do afternoons on KFYI in Phoenix, KNST in Tucson. And I'm so glad to be hanging out with

01:29:24.280 you. I'll be back tomorrow. And then, uh, the day after new year's, we get to celebrate together

01:29:28.120 doing the first show of the year together on January 2nd. I'll be back as well. Uh, so I hope

01:29:34.480 to hang out with you. Thank you for following me on social media so we can stay connected at

01:29:38.260 Garrett Lewis, two R's and one T. My mom made it difficult on X and on Instagram. And I just,

01:29:45.660 by the way, put up a, uh, retweeted a video. That's pretty crazy on my ex. How, uh, apparently

01:29:52.060 says here an immigrant lift driver. It's now going everywhere. She picked up some guys for a ride.

01:30:01.380 Obviously, she's a lift driver really quick from, uh, AmFest in Phoenix. 1.00

01:30:08.220 And when she realized these guys were at America Fest at AmFest, she's like, Republicans are

01:30:15.880 slaughtering people, blah, blah, blah. So they started recording her and asking her questions.

01:30:19.580 They said, if you're an immigrant, if you hit America so much, why'd you come here?

01:30:24.100 And you have to see what she did to them. It's on my ex at Garrett Lewis. You can go see that.

01:30:30.460 Wait till after I'm done. But I'm like, man, these people are crazy. They're crazy. So I, 0.98

01:30:37.860 I loved that. Uh, again, I love that Nicki Minaj said, we're going to keep thinking in a world where

01:30:42.560 they don't want us to think. And they, they don't, they don't want us to think. I'll tell you this.

01:30:46.920 This was one of the most mind blowing things that I was ever told was from a buddy of mine who was

01:30:54.060 a state lawmaker. And he was one term should have been two terms. There were some shenanigans

01:30:59.160 here in, in Arizona. Uh, and, and he was a good guy. Like after everything happened in 2020,

01:31:04.720 people looking for answers, the COVID hysteria, all this stuff, this guy, young guy, wife and kids

01:31:11.140 like I'm running for office. I'm like, good for you. And he's a good guy. Very good guy. Anyway, he,

01:31:16.840 he won. And when he was, he was going through freshman orientation, state representative here

01:31:26.300 in Arizona, he's going through the, the orientation of the Capitol. It's Republicans and Democrats that

01:31:33.120 are all freshmen. They just won. So, you know, what happens like when they're go to work as a

01:31:37.300 lawmaker, where do you go for what you need when you're at the state Capitol? Very simple stuff,

01:31:42.760 right? Well, he calls me up and he's like, dude, you won't believe what happened. I said, what?

01:31:48.600 He said, it was crazy. He said, so all of us freshmen, Republicans and Democrats,

01:31:52.640 we're told to be at the Capitol this time. We're going to be toured around and they're taking us

01:31:56.800 around to different areas, right? Here's the legislative council. If any legal questions,

01:32:00.380 ask here, here's where you drop the bill. Here's where this happens. He said, but every time we went to

01:32:05.120 a certain part of the Capitol and the tour guide was like, Hey, for lack of a better term, was like, Hey,

01:32:11.760 this is where ledge council is legislative council. They will help you with certain verbiage and all

01:32:17.040 this other stuff. He said, as soon as they were done speaking, these two people in the back that

01:32:23.100 were on the tour with us stood up, they're in suits. They said, uh, Hey Democrats, remember you

01:32:28.920 can't do that on your own. You want to do something like this? You have to come to us first. And it was

01:32:34.520 the first time I saw it. I'm like, Oh, that's, that's weird. Then we go to another area. This is where

01:32:40.700 you drop your bills. Two people stood up. Hey Democrats, remember if you need to drop a bill,

01:32:49.420 you can't do that without us. Everything goes through us. And I said to my buddy, I'm like,

01:32:57.260 this is like old school KGB stuff right here. Like the commies are following. He goes, yeah. He said,

01:33:02.260 yeah. He said, the Democrats are not allowed to do anything. The Democrat representatives,

01:33:09.760 state state representatives, state centers, they're not allowed to do anything. They can't

01:33:14.320 think for themselves. They, even though they were elected supposedly by people they're supposed to

01:33:20.860 represent, they can't actually do anything. They can't come up with an idea for a bill. They can't do

01:33:26.600 anything until they run it by whoever is running them here in Arizona. We're behind the curtain.

01:33:34.560 And trust me when I say it's like that in every state. And it's like that in Washington, DC.

01:33:41.600 The Democrats want to control everything. So I said to him, you have to go on. He called me and said,

01:33:47.360 you have to go on the radio show and say this. He goes, I will. You would think that would be a

01:33:51.260 really big story. I was the only one to cover that. An elected representative talked about how

01:33:57.700 Democrats, and they didn't deny it. Democrats were told you can't do anything. So who do they

01:34:05.700 really work for? They don't work for the people. They work for the interests. That's really what it is.

01:34:15.280 And honestly, J.D. Vance, the vice president, was at AmericaFest, and I'll get back to Nicki Minaj.

01:34:25.720 He was there. The reason I'm telling you this, too, is because what J.D. Vance said yesterday,

01:34:31.300 one of the things that he said, he brought up the same thing.

01:34:36.440 But ask yourself, what do all of these people have in common? And the unfortunate answer

01:34:41.800 is they are puppets. They don't actually matter. They are cogs in a machine that wants to make you

01:34:48.400 poorer, that wants to make you less powerful, and wants to make you less safe in the country

01:34:54.980 your ancestors built. That's very powerful. And it really speaks to me because I know of this.

01:35:00.240 I wonder if people hear this and they're like, well, yeah, they just want to do this. Like J.D. Vance

01:35:04.860 and Donald Trump have no problem throwing this out there. These are big matzo balls to put out there, 0.91

01:35:10.940 huge. Because at the end of the day, it's shown that we are not really representative. We're called

01:35:19.240 a representative republic. We're not a democracy. We're a representative republic. Well, you know

01:35:24.720 what? There's one party in particular that says that, nope, not happening. And look, there are

01:35:33.360 Republicans that go through that, too. That's why you see the big rift between the America First

01:35:38.740 Movement and the establishment. The establishment's the same way. The same way. And people are starting

01:35:46.000 to wake up to this stuff more and more and more. I wish that Vice President Vance would explain that

01:35:51.220 better. Kind of the way I did, because this is how it is. I mean, John Fetterman, who would have ever

01:35:58.720 thought John Fetterman, the guy whose brain blew up when he was debating Dr. Oz, he was randomly

01:36:05.500 saying things on the other side of the debate stage that made no sense. Hello, good night,

01:36:10.240 everybody. I'll never forget that. John Fetterman, he's still a Democrat, but he's the only one that

01:36:15.240 actually makes sense. Some sense. And John Fetterman said, we shut down the government. The Democrats did

01:36:22.020 because we were afraid of parts of our party. It's, again, it doesn't matter what's best for the

01:36:26.300 people. They're a machine. And that's what I went on my, on my show. I mean, I call whether

01:36:31.500 they're rhinos or Democrats. I mean, they're, they're slabs of beef. They're not real people. 0.95

01:36:35.660 These are lizard people. If you want, you can call them meat puppets. You can call them meat puppets 0.99

01:36:40.160 if you want. That's how it is. But between what Vice President Vance said, what, what Nikki

01:36:52.040 Manasseh, this is some big, important stuff. Big, important stuff. And that's why you're

01:37:01.140 probably, I know we're getting close to Christmas and people might be like, well, I'm not going

01:37:05.680 to pay that much of attention. They wouldn't want you to know this stuff anyway. They wouldn't.

01:37:13.020 But you have to think of, think on your own. Yeah. You have to do that kind of stuff.

01:37:17.660 And it's common sense stuff too, by the way. One more from Nicki Minaj. I have to get to other

01:37:22.880 stuff too. Hang on. This is another thing she said. Be boys. Amen. Be boys. It's okay. Be boys.

01:37:30.980 It's nothing wrong with being a boy. Hang on. Like this, this is considered like controversial

01:37:37.080 on the other side. No, no, you can't be a boy. Patriarchy and stuff like that. What?

01:37:43.000 What? How about that? Amen. How powerful is that? How profound is that? Amen. Boys will

01:37:51.840 be boys and there's nothing wrong with that. Thank you. So she is making it acceptable to

01:38:02.120 all of the, the people that follow her and, and give her credibility, right? They're okay.

01:38:08.900 Nikki says, so I, look, she's an influencer in that aspect. She's an influencer. That's

01:38:12.940 just how it is. But this, this is why I have a lot of faith going forward because I think

01:38:22.560 our side is fighting back in a very big way. I think we're winning. I think we're winning

01:38:25.920 the culture battle in that aspect. I really think we are. It's happening more than people

01:38:32.620 realize. It really is. Now there's some more. It's just when it comes to common sense stuff

01:38:38.760 that I, I've wanted to, I got to get to this stuff too. Uh, there is a, uh, I'll tell you

01:38:43.000 this and, and I'll, I'll do it coming back. There's a lot of crazy things going on at colleges

01:38:50.860 here in America, right? Well, one college, and you tell me if this makes sense. One college

01:38:57.900 had, uh, again, here we go. Co-ed showers. Uh, guess who was upset with the idea of co-ed

01:39:06.860 and it was actually, it wasn't just an idea. It was, it was happening. Who was upset with

01:39:13.200 co-ed showers? I have it for you coming up. Garrett Lewis in for Glenn Beck.

01:39:21.320 Freedom's worth a lot more than comfort. Here's what I found on the web about that private

01:39:27.500 conversation you just had. What? Are you uncomfortable yet? Glenn Beck is back after this.

01:39:51.320 Garrett Lewis with you sitting in for Glenn Beck on the Glenn Beck program. I am in Arizona. I do

01:40:06.120 the afternoon show on KFYI in Phoenix and KNST in Tucson. Thank you for hanging out. I'll be back

01:40:11.520 tomorrow as well, where I definitely have to get into a, a local, uh, a local story. There's an

01:40:17.160 Arizona mayor that has such a horrific case of Trump derangement syndrome that it's,

01:40:21.660 it's actually really funny. It's actually very funny. And I'll, that'll be one of the many things

01:40:26.320 that I talk about. And by the way, thank you to a lot of people in our following me more, uh, on

01:40:30.480 Instagram and on X. If you're on Instagram and you follow me at Garrett Lewis on my story. I mean,

01:40:35.500 I put a little video up there, uh, walk in the halls during one of the breaks, but I bust my wife's 0.97

01:40:40.500 chops as you've heard because she really doesn't cook. And I mentioned her, it's probably been about, 1.00

01:40:45.000 uh, two or three years since you made lasagna and, uh, she actually made it yesterday. And she made

01:40:50.740 me take a picture of her cooking to send to our family for proof that she does it. And, and I took

01:40:56.780 a picture of lasagna and I actually shared it to give her credit. Cause I really look, I'm honest,

01:41:01.280 everything I say, I believe, and it's true. Uh, so if you want to see the lasagna, my wife made,

01:41:07.080 um, and comments, uh, you can send me a message. I would definitely love to share it and then see her

01:41:14.140 reaction and share with you tomorrow at Garrett Lewis on Instagram. All right. So again, we need,

01:41:19.100 we need some common sense back here. If I told my boys, right, my one, one, my oldest will be 13 in

01:41:25.160 a couple of days. My youngest is eight. And I say, Hey, when you go to college, you are going to have

01:41:30.220 to shower with the girls. They'd be like, wait, what? What, what? Yeah. Uh, this was happening at

01:41:40.000 Michigan state university story at the college fix. Young women were complaining to Michigan state 1.00

01:41:47.880 university that they had a gender neutral shower situation. A university spokesman, Michigan state

01:41:57.040 university said all gender bathrooms were based on researching best practices for dorms. Who the hell 1.00

01:42:04.480 did that research? Where is that research? What biased person did that? What, what mentally ill 0.61

01:42:09.920 person came up with that stuff, but all of the complaints about the new gender neutral bathrooms, 1.00

01:42:15.900 including showers were from female students. Hey, what a surprise. Females don't like showering with 1.00

01:42:24.740 guys. You didn't have a guy complain. Hey, too many chicks in the shower. No, doesn't work that way. 1.00

01:42:31.840 Women complaining guys are in our sports. I mean, think about the kind of politicians, voters 1.00

01:42:40.060 that just tortured women for the past several years. 1.00

01:42:46.420 So all the complaints from the, the, the women, the girls, the female students, it made Michigan state 0.98

01:42:52.620 change some of the showers back to single sex spaces this fall. And I'm trying to figure this part

01:43:00.540 out. I'm like, wait, wait a second. Was it just like one giant wall of shower heads and there was,

01:43:08.700 there was no like dividers or anything like that. I've been trying to figure this one out, but

01:43:17.040 the girls wrote comments. I think there just should not be gender neutral bathrooms. Another female 1.00

01:43:26.480 student. I think it's weird to have gender inclusive bathrooms when no other dorm is like this across

01:43:32.500 the entirety of campus. Here's another one for the dorm to be specifically honors. It was the honors

01:43:39.720 housing, by the way, and the building renovated. I feel we should have at least have separate boys

01:43:44.640 and girls bathrooms. They're also being only one private stall that I know of is absurd.

01:43:51.120 If boys and girls are sharing bathroom spaces, it would make them more private to have these private 0.88

01:43:58.900 stalls, having everything one would need in a bathroom. No private stalls.

01:44:08.300 Another woman. I mean, think of these sexist, these transphobic female students. 1.00

01:44:12.860 They'd prefer women's and men's and women's bathrooms because it's uncomfortable to share a bathroom with men.

01:44:18.580 I get it. Well, only one female resident commented. I love the co-ed bathroom. I believe is the best

01:44:24.700 part of the building. I'm at you want to bet that was a guy claiming to be a woman.

01:44:28.960 I'm at you want to bet. And they did research on this best practices. There are no best practices

01:44:36.260 when you tell women they have to share the showers with the guys. 0.94

01:44:41.940 It's insane. It's insane. And honestly, women are gross. 1.00

01:44:46.980 Women's bathrooms. Disgusting. Want nothing to do with that. Nothing to do with that. 1.00

01:44:54.100 I'll be back tomorrow. And I have so much more to get to that. I didn't get a chance to do today.

01:44:59.600 The Epstein stuff. Why are Democrats not talking about Epstein now? Funny. Those if you want to

01:45:04.000 see the Bill Clinton pictures, they're on my Instagram at Garrett Lewis. Like me and follow me there.

01:45:08.000 And again, thank you so much for hanging out with me. I will be back tomorrow. Garrett Lewis sitting in

01:45:13.920 for Glenn Beck. This is Glenn Beck.
