00:02:53.000 There are evastative details, and these details that are coming out are the ones I don't want you to hear.
00:02:59.000 In fact, I can prove it.
00:03:02.000 How can I?
00:03:03.000 We have the reports, or the lack thereof, from yesterday.
00:03:08.000 This story, it's not exactly a Christmas miracle.
00:03:14.000 Though I do have good news today.
00:03:16.000 I promise you we're not going to only talk about the horrific state, the way things are ended.
00:03:22.000 By the way, we should be helpful on Christmas Eve of all days.
00:03:25.000 As dark as the world is.
00:03:30.000 The promise of light.
00:03:32.000 The promise of love.
00:03:34.000 The promise.
00:03:35.000 The promise.
00:03:38.000 Hope.
00:03:41.000 Help is on the way.
00:03:43.000 This has never been more necessary and more obvious maybe than today in so many different ways.
00:03:55.000 Through all of this today, we've got lots to discuss.
00:03:58.000 Some very special moments and guests that I think you're going to enjoy hearing from, too.
00:04:03.000 As I mentioned, a lot of good things to talk about today, but we have to talk about this story.
00:04:07.000 And it may be one of the most important because it's being ignored.
00:04:12.000 So welcome in.
00:04:13.000 Justin Barkley filling in for Glenn today.
00:04:15.000 It's always an honor, always a privilege being able to be here with you in Glenn's audience, especially this time of year.
00:04:21.000 I absolutely look forward to it.
00:04:24.000 And one of the things that I've remarked on recently is that when I get to fill in for Glenn, you know, these are normally times that most folks have taken off traditionally in the swamp in D.C.
00:04:36.000 And, of course, even in the media, you'll get lots of different stories that are, you know, what's the what's the word of the year next week?
00:04:43.000 We'll hear the word of the year and all the great looking back, you know, all of that stuff on what happened this year.
00:04:49.000 And, you know, time's got the person of the year, all of that, all of that stuff that's in the year sort of filler is it.
00:04:56.000 It's really what they put out so that they have content and things to run near the end.
00:05:01.000 So it's usually in years gone by had lighter years.
00:05:05.000 Not so.
00:05:07.000 The stream at which we are drinking from these days does not stop.
00:05:11.000 It is like drinking from a fire hose.
00:05:13.000 And we we continue to give you the updates because the news won't stop.
00:05:19.000 We won't either.
00:05:20.000 And that's that's part of what we witnessed just yesterday.
00:05:24.000 A horrific story.
00:05:26.000 We probably the first to tell you about the murder of this innocent woman.
00:05:33.000 And there's still not a lot of details about who it was that was killed, burned to death on the subway train in New York City.
00:05:40.000 The tragic murder.
00:05:41.000 We now know more about who is accused of committing the crime, the illegal immigrant.
00:05:48.000 The alien tossed a match or a lighter or something on this woman, at least the reports were saying early.
00:05:55.000 Tossed something onto this woman who appeared to be sleeping at the time on the subway train.
00:06:00.000 And from everything I've gathered, this train was stopped.
00:06:02.000 And I don't know if they were working on something, if there was an issue or what, but there was someone sleeping on the train.
00:06:07.000 Lots of people there apparently on this train waiting around, waiting for it to get going, whatever, whatever they were doing, technical issues or whatever it might be.
00:06:18.000 That's when this migrant, the alien, illegally here in the country, we now know from Guatemala, just decided to ignite this individual.
00:06:31.000 For what reason?
00:06:33.000 We still don't know.
00:06:35.000 There are videos floating around purporting to be this individual at some point ranting on some sort of cell phone video that went up on social media somewhere that shows this individual very drunk, talking about being drunk, could have been a blacked out moment.
00:06:53.000 Crime, I don't have to tell you, in New York City and on the subway is through the roof.
00:06:59.000 And I don't think it's any mistake that this story comes out the same day that Biden comes out pardoning killers, child killers, some of the most heinous acts and crimes.
00:07:12.000 He's let these folks, well, he commuted their sentences.
00:07:15.000 He didn't pardon them.
00:07:16.000 Let me, let me, let me correct that.
00:07:18.000 He commuted their sentences.
00:07:20.000 Might as well, for some of these families, might as well have, have pardoned, but he commuted the sentences so they will not get the death penalty.
00:07:29.000 What kind of signal does that send?
00:07:34.000 And a dying regime that is on its way out the door flailing, he said, it's, I can't in good conscience allow, as I've halted these executions, the next administration to come through and pick up where I left off.
00:07:49.000 Essentially, he said, I can't allow the next administration to actually come in and get any work done.
00:07:53.000 So these people have been spared.
00:08:00.000 And what kind of signal does it send to all the people as we've got the border wide open?
00:08:09.000 The barn door is wide open.
00:08:11.000 You could come on in.
00:08:13.000 Matter of fact, we're going to put you up in the nicest hotels in New York City.
00:08:17.000 And when you do something absolutely heinous, something absolutely horrific, we'll look the other way.
00:08:23.000 That's essentially the signal, he said.
00:08:27.000 And that's what's, that's what's happened here.
00:08:30.000 Sebastian Zepeda, 33, has been charged with first and second degree murder here, according to the reports, as well as first degree arson.
00:08:41.000 Now, here's the history.
00:08:46.000 He was arrested by Border Patrol June 1st, 2018, after illegally crossing into Arizona.
00:08:56.000 He was deported.
00:08:59.000 Listen to this very carefully.
00:09:01.000 He was deported by the Trump administration.
00:09:06.000 This is why this story is never going to see the light of day.
00:09:10.000 Tom Holman has promised, along with President Trump, mass deportations on day one.
00:09:16.000 They will not give this story the light of day because it will give Trump again the mandate that he is required.
00:09:27.000 In fact, he's already been given to go through with those mass deportations.
00:09:34.000 Holman and the rest of the folks saying they're going to start with people just like this.
00:09:39.000 Before they do something like this.
00:09:43.000 What do you do to somebody like this?
00:09:46.000 Is it enough to say we're going to lock them up and throw away the key?
00:09:50.000 Or do you have to take one or two of these folks and do you have to have a public execution to show people that we mean business?
00:10:06.000 The murder of Lake and Riley.
00:10:10.000 The two animals who were accused of killing Jocelyn, raping Jocelyn Dungary.
00:10:21.000 These horrific stories.
00:10:22.000 There's one after the others.
00:10:24.000 One of my very own backyard where I'm at in Michigan.
00:10:28.000 Ruby Garcia was killed in cold blood.
00:10:31.000 She was shot in her car, thrown her body, thrown out on a highway, left for dead.
00:10:45.000 What do you what do you do with these people?
00:10:50.000 Right now, they just let anybody and everybody get away with anything and everything.
00:10:54.000 It's absolute chaos.
00:10:55.000 And in fact, we talked about this yesterday.
00:10:58.000 It's so bad you have to ask yourself, is this incompetence or is it intentional?
00:11:03.000 And I would say, I don't know which one's worse.
00:11:06.000 First of all, second of all, I would say at this point, I think the answer is becoming obvious.
00:11:12.000 But this man was, he was deported under the Trump administration and somehow, some way, finally found his way back into the country, ultimately ending up in the death of this individual who we still don't know much about.
00:11:40.000 And I don't know when we'll get that information because the body is, well, I won't say any more about that.
00:11:55.000 I have seen the video and I will tell you, if you have not, please don't go looking for it.
00:12:03.000 There is so much happening in the video.
00:12:07.000 It's so horrific that it actually jars the conscious that people would look at it and say, how can someone stand around and just watch this?
00:12:16.000 I'll briefly describe some of the things that are happening.
00:12:21.000 I'll try not to go into too much detail, but in the video, you see the doors of a subway car open and there's a glow of a fire coming out from those doors of the subway car.
00:12:31.000 Someone filming this on their cell phone, you see the suspect sitting on a bench in front of the subway, gazing at the fire and the blaze he's just created like it's a Yule log.
00:12:43.000 If there was ever any doubt what we are up against, let there be none now.
00:12:55.000 There is evil, evil in this world.
00:13:04.000 And we wrestle not against flesh and blood.
00:13:08.000 What we're facing is a spiritual.
00:13:12.000 I don't care who you are.
00:13:14.000 I don't care what you believe in.
00:13:16.000 At this point, how is there any denying?
00:13:21.000 Well, a human being can do this to another human being.
00:13:25.000 That's one thing.
00:13:26.000 Well, he's a little off.
00:13:28.000 You know, the guy is something wrong.
00:13:30.000 You know, that's bound to happen.
00:13:32.000 You know, that's every now and then you got people that are broken and that's just what about the people that are standing by watching it?
00:13:39.000 Who refuse to help, who refuse to step in, who refuse to stand up.
00:13:43.000 What about the person filming it?
00:13:46.000 And in this video, it's hard to, it's hard to even comprehend this.
00:13:53.000 It's hard to imagine, but there is a New York police officer that walks past the subway train.
00:14:01.000 Seen in the video, like it's another day in the Big Apple.
00:14:07.000 How do you wrap your head around any of this?
00:14:15.000 And I don't want to go into any more detail.
00:14:17.000 And I'm gonna tell you, please don't go out because I believe when you see things like this, I think it takes a piece of your soul.
00:14:28.000 You do need to know about it.
00:14:31.000 It's a tough line we walk because it's a story.
00:14:34.000 I don't think you should stick your head in the sand.
00:14:37.000 You do need to know about it.
00:14:40.000 You need to know what's happening so you can be aware.
00:14:44.000 You need to know what's happening so that you can be able to speak up to stand out.
00:14:49.000 Of course, defend yourself and your family in any situation, a situation like this, and know what to maybe expect of what could be coming.
00:14:57.000 But listen, more than anything else, you need to know so that when President Trump,
00:15:03.000 and by the way, here is the good news.
00:15:05.000 The Calvary is coming.
00:15:07.000 You made this possible.
00:15:09.000 President Trump lays his hand on the Bible, January 20th.
00:15:15.000 All of this, all of it comes to a screeching halt.
00:15:21.000 And that's the hope that's on the way.
00:15:26.000 More on that in a second.
00:15:28.000 Plus, I want to give you the details about why the news isn't touching it and the evidence of that.
00:15:32.000 In fact, the key details are leaving.
00:15:34.000 You can imagine what those might be.
00:15:36.000 Tom Holman, President's new border czar, speaking out.
00:15:39.000 You can imagine what he's got to say about all of this and more.
00:15:42.000 We'll be back.
00:15:43.000 Quick break.
00:15:44.000 Justin Barkley in for Glenn Beck today.
00:15:46.000 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:15:50.000 If you're scrambling to think of a good present for your loved ones, give them what I gave my family last year.
00:15:55.000 The peace of mind with a Berna less lethal launcher.
00:15:58.000 Or treat yourself with the Berna launcher.
00:15:59.000 You can be confident that you and your family are prepared to defend against any potential threats.
00:16:04.000 Plus, it's easy to use and legal to use for anybody over 18.
00:16:08.000 The Berna launcher.
00:16:09.000 Safe, effective defense solution equipped with powerful, non-lethal deterrents including tear gas and kinetic rounds.
00:16:15.000 With a 60-foot range capable of stopping an attacker in their tracks.
00:16:19.000 And even if you have a firearm at home, start with less lethal because you don't want to deal with the legal or mental burden of using a firearm.
00:16:26.000 So why choose Berna?
00:16:28.000 Because protecting your loved ones should never be a compromise.
00:16:31.000 It's legal in all 50 states, requires no background checks or permits, and can be shipped directly to your door.
00:16:36.000 That's why Berna is trusted by over 500 government agencies, police departments, and private security firms.
00:16:42.000 This is your last chance to buy before the holiday.
00:16:45.000 Visit Amazon to make sure it's delivered on time.
00:16:47.000 That's B-Y-R-N-A.
00:16:49.000 Burn up.
00:16:50.000 Well, it's been essentially ignored by legacy media, mainstream media, what do you call it, the dinosaur folks, whatever you want to call it.
00:17:08.000 Essentially been ignored in large part by all of them.
00:17:13.000 In fact, from what we could tell, now again, maybe somebody will be able to turn up a blip or something and say, no, no, I caught it here.
00:17:22.000 But from what we could tell, the only one that covered this was CBS.
00:17:26.000 This horrific story of the woman burned alive on a subway in New York City by the illegal.
00:17:32.000 The man who was here, deported under the Trump administration, found his way back in.
00:17:37.000 The one that Biden and Mayorkas and all the rest of them said, well, this is compassion.
00:17:42.000 Tell that to the woman's family.
00:17:46.000 This, this, this is the compassion of the Democrats.
00:17:54.000 This is the progressive leftist backwards compassion where the, the actual perpetrator, the suspect is the victim.
00:18:02.000 You know, because of the systemic, whatever you want to fill in the blank with capitalism, racism, whatever the ism that is might be.
00:18:10.000 That's, that's what it is.
00:18:12.000 So essentially, it's, you know, obviously driven this, this, this into the just poor, poor soul into the actions.
00:18:20.000 The actions aren't their own fault of responsibility.
00:18:22.000 It's a system again.
00:18:26.000 So CBS News covers it.
00:18:28.000 They leave out one detail.
00:18:29.000 Now to a disturbing and deadly attack here in New York City.
00:18:33.000 Tonight, police say they have a suspect under arrest after a woman sleeping in a subway car was set on fire.
00:18:40.000 She later died.
00:18:41.000 CBS's Tammy Mutasa is in New York with details on what exactly happened.
00:18:46.000 Tammy.
00:18:47.000 Tariqa, you know, this was a brutal attack on a woman who just appeared to be sleeping on a public train.
00:18:55.000 And police found that victim when they saw smoke during a routine patrol.
00:19:00.000 Horrifying moments inside an F train on the New York City subway.
00:19:04.000 Just before 730 this morning, NYPD investigators say a woman was set on fire and burned to death.
00:19:11.000 Now, I, this detail, I just, I missed it previously, but I'm hearing it now thinking about the, you mean this was, they found all of this because of a routine patrol?
00:19:20.000 You mean nobody called it in?
00:19:25.000 That's even wilder to me.
00:19:26.000 Police say as the train approached the last stop in Brooklyn, the suspect walked up to her, lit her on fire and stayed on the scene watching her burn from the train platform.
00:19:37.000 After the NYPD released images of a person of interest, three young men called 911 when they saw the suspect on a different subway.
00:19:45.000 Police stopped the train and arrested the man.
00:19:48.000 There must be strong, swift consequences on this person, and I use that term lightly, who committed this brutal, brutal homicide.
00:20:00.000 I absolutely agree.
00:20:01.000 You've got to disincentivize evil.
00:20:07.000 You've got to disincentivize this horrific behavior.
00:20:13.000 Because if you don't, if you don't take a stand, this, this is just the tip of the iceberg.
00:20:19.000 This is just a preview of how bad it's going to be.
00:20:21.000 Now, the, the hope here is that we know that day one, because you voted for it in massive numbers of Americans in ways we haven't seen in a long time, came out and voted for this.
00:20:36.000 For President Trump, the mandate to take care of this clean house, and he's going to do that along with Tom Holman.
00:20:43.000 By the way, there's more, a little bit more of this report.
00:20:45.000 About 30 seconds left, but you're not going to hear the most important piece.
00:20:48.000 Andrea, the NYPD said cameras have been installed in every subway car.
00:20:54.000 Oh, they got cameras.
00:20:56.000 That ought to do it.
00:20:57.000 Get a camera.
00:20:58.000 There was somebody with a camera on their phone filming it all.
00:21:01.000 Standing by, not helping somebody who, who, who, who was in desperate, dire need.
00:21:10.000 Who, who knows what could have been done if somebody would have stepped in.
00:21:13.000 But you know, they, they came after Daniel Penny, didn't they?
00:21:17.000 Came after him for doing the same thing.
00:21:19.000 You notice they did what they did not mention there.
00:21:22.000 They did not mention the status of this illegal alien.
00:21:25.000 They did not mention how he got back in after he was deported by Trump.
00:21:30.000 By the way, Trump, the new sheriff of town, back in charge.
00:21:33.000 And Tom Holman is speaking out again.
00:21:35.000 He said, this is a voter czar.
00:21:36.000 You're going to hear what he has to say.
00:21:37.000 Day one is just days away, folks.

00:22:48.000 Before I get too ahead of my sentence, this news is coming fast and furious.
00:23:05.000 Like I say, it's drinking from a fire.
00:23:07.000 That's what it's like every day.
00:23:09.000 Before I get too fast and furious into the program, let me just do this.
00:23:14.000 Let me give you the numbers in case you want to join it, because I'd love to have you on.
00:23:17.000 Of course, the Christmas Eve edition.
00:23:20.000 We got some special, we got some really special stuff coming for you later on today, so get ready for that.
00:23:27.000 It's Justin Barclay in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck Program.
00:23:30.000 By the way, you want to find me online and follow some of the stories I'm talking about.
00:23:33.000 I've shared them all over social media.
00:23:36.000 You can find me at Mr. Justin Barclay and at JustinBarclay.com.
00:23:41.000 I put all these stories up in something called the stack so you can see it every day after we've talked about things like this.
00:23:49.000 The New York subway murderer completely ignored by all legacy media.
00:23:53.000 CBS News, the only outlet to cover it, but guess what they left out?
00:23:57.000 And it's because of images from those cameras that led to this arrest.
00:24:01.000 This week, Governor Kathy Hochul announced an additional 250 National Guard members will be deployed in subway cars to make sure everyone is safe.
00:24:11.000 You might as well give them some fire extinguishers because they know they won't be armed, but you ought to give them some blankets maybe?
00:24:16.000 Fire blankets?
00:24:17.000 Tammy Mutasa reporting in New York City tonight, thank you.
00:24:20.000 You know what, CBS failed to report.
00:24:22.000 They failed to report the status of this individual.
00:24:25.000 They failed to tell you that he's here illegally, not supposed to be here.
00:24:31.000 He was deported under the Trump administration, and was it Biden?
00:24:36.000 The policies of Biden, Mayorkas, and the rest of them, who, by the way, bear responsibility for this mess.
00:24:45.000 I won't hold my breath for accountability, but I will tell you, I know that the streets of New York City, the streets of Chicago, the streets of cities all across the country.
00:25:00.000 Matter of fact, the mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, is asking for help from the Trump administration.
00:25:05.000 Not so the mayor in Chicago.
00:25:07.000 The mayor in Chicago and one of the mayors here, and I believe the governor in Colorado, there's some real standoffs happening.
00:25:15.000 I think it's going to be a rude awakening for some of them.
00:25:17.000 As Holman says, that's Tom Holman, the borders are just a medium.
00:25:22.000 I went to the State of the Union this year.
00:25:24.000 That was an experience, I'll tell you that much.
00:25:27.000 Maybe I'll tell you a little bit more about that later on.
00:25:31.000 But the State of the Union, you get to meet all these great people at Holman.
00:25:36.000 One of the most interesting people that I got a chance to meet, this guy means business.
00:25:45.000 And do not mistake his sort of rough, gruff exterior.
00:25:49.000 Do not mistake his silent strength, really, the way that he comes off.
00:25:55.000 Don't mistake that for someone who's just mean or no.
00:26:01.000 What you're seeing there is true compassion.
00:26:07.000 When he breaks down to tell you why he cares so much about keeping these kids safe.
00:26:18.000 About keeping folks in the country safe.
00:26:20.000 You see where his heart is.
00:26:22.000 You see where he's really coming from.
00:26:24.000 So when you hear him respond to this latest situation, you know he means business.
00:26:28.000 There's a reason for it.
00:26:30.000 Well, look, this is another example of an illegal alien killing an American citizen.
00:26:33.000 It's almost a daily occurrence now.
00:26:35.000 You know, because a historic number of criminal aliens walking the streets.
00:26:39.000 Because of this administration's policy in sanctuary jurisdictions.
00:26:43.000 And lacks immigration enforcement.
00:26:45.000 ICE has their hands tied.
00:26:47.000 Secretary Mayorkas have given them priorities that they can't even go arrest an illegal alien anymore.
00:26:52.000 Unless he's convicted.
00:26:53.000 Convicted of a serious crime.
00:26:55.000 Then maybe they can arrest him.
00:26:57.000 So this is on this administration.
00:26:58.000 As far as Governor Hochul, shame on her.
00:27:01.000 She supports sanctuary status in that state.
00:27:03.000 She welcomed thousands of illegal aliens to her state.
00:27:06.000 She sentenced to Buffalo and Syracuse.
00:27:08.000 Murders occurred by illegal aliens in Buffalo and Syracuse.
00:27:11.000 She has a green light law.
00:27:13.000 ICE and CBP can't even work with local law enforcement.
00:27:15.000 Local law enforcement can't even share DMV data with these people.
00:27:19.000 So, Governor Hochul, shame on you.
00:27:21.000 There's nothing you can say that's going to make this right in New York.
00:27:23.000 Yeah, Tom Holman's right about that.
00:27:25.000 Not only that, but...
00:27:27.000 Doesn't this come...
00:27:28.000 Don't you think it comes really at an interesting time?
00:27:33.000 You know, the same day Biden has said he's going to commute...
00:27:39.000 All of these different sentences that people have the death sentence...
00:27:43.000 By the way, they were waiting on death row for horrendous crimes.
00:27:46.000 Very similar, a lot of them, to what we're seeing here.
00:27:49.000 Listen to some of the commutants.
00:27:51.000 Because we heard of the news about this yesterday.
00:27:53.000 We told you yesterday about this.
00:27:55.000 But now we're learning more and more about who he actually commuted the sentences for.
00:28:00.000 This is Biden's list.
00:28:06.000 Child killers, a rapist, a drug kingpin, and a partridge in a pear tree.
00:28:12.000 All commuted their sentences, all spared from execution.
00:28:17.000 Biden justified his decision based on his moral opposition to the death penalty.
00:28:24.000 Well, listen.
00:28:27.000 I got a hard time really taking that seriously.
00:28:32.000 I am someone who is very much pro-life.
00:28:39.000 I am somebody that would actually like to see people spend their lives in jail.
00:28:45.000 Because I believe even the sickest, even the most twisted, even the worst amongst us still has an opportunity for redemption.
00:28:54.000 Now, that's a process.
00:28:59.000 In fact, that's something that I've seen play out in my own life.
00:29:06.000 But I've seen play out in lives of countless others as well.
00:29:09.000 It's a faith thing that I believe that is only possible, supernaturally, it's only possible, really, this time of year.
00:29:17.000 More than ever, it ought to be more obvious and more clear that real gift we're given on Christmas.
00:29:27.000 I believe it's more clear than ever before that those things are possible.
00:29:30.000 But I have a hard time believing that Biden is so adamant about this, given his stance on the murder of innocent children in the womb.
00:29:40.000 I just don't believe he's honest.
00:29:48.000 In fact, you want to know the truth?
00:29:51.000 I don't think Biden had anything to do with these commutations.
00:29:54.000 I think these are rogue folks, probably in the administration somewhere, in the justice department somewhere, or excuse me, the injustice department somewhere,
00:30:03.000 that had some sort of grandiose idea about what they would do and how they would get some real, you know, justice for the perpetrators.
00:30:17.000 You know, the real victims and all this, the victims of the system.
00:30:21.000 That's how they view things, by the way, through every Marxist weird lens.
00:30:25.000 That's how all of this works.
00:30:27.000 So justice for the child killers, the rapists, the drug kingpins, all of the justice for all of those death row inmates.
00:30:35.000 That's what they were looking at.
00:30:37.000 Here's the list.
00:30:38.000 White House announcing two days before Christmas yesterday that they would give commutations to 37 of 40 of federal inmates currently on death row.
00:30:48.000 They spared the joke or sarnia of the Boston suicide bomb.
00:30:53.000 And there were a couple others.
00:30:55.000 Dylan Ruth, I think there's a couple others involved in terrorism.
00:30:59.000 And they said also hate crimes.
00:31:01.000 But that's what they decided that they were going to do.
00:31:07.000 37 out of the 40.
00:31:13.000 The White House said the decision stemmed from Biden's opposition to the death penalty.
00:31:18.000 And aligned with his justice department's moratorium on federal executions beginning in July of 2021.
00:31:25.000 Make no mistake, I condemn these murderers, he said.
00:31:28.000 I grieve for the victims of their despicable acts and ache for all the families who have suffered unimaginable and irreparable loss.
00:31:37.000 But I'm going to hit them hardest.
00:31:40.000 At a time of year when they probably miss their loved ones the most.
00:31:44.000 Just can't imagine this.
00:31:45.000 He goes on to say,
00:31:47.000 Guide by my conscience, my experience as a public defender, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, vice president, and now president, I'm more convinced than ever we must stop the use of the death penalty at the federal level.
00:32:00.000 In good conscience, I cannot stand back and let a new administration resume executions that I halted.
00:32:05.000 I will tell you this, on one hand, I believe life is sacred and these people have the opportunity for redemption.
00:32:15.000 I also believe, because I know, you set an example and you take these things serious.
00:32:21.000 When people do step out and they commit horrific acts of evil, you make an example of them, you're going to have fewer of those evil acts being perpetrated.
00:32:37.000 Just not going to happen.
00:32:40.400 So who's on the list?
00:32:42.000 Critics say the victims, especially children, are the real losers of the new clemency spree.
00:32:46.060 The public outcry over the pardon has also drawn considerable attention from lawmakers.
00:32:52.500 There's a child murderer in here.
00:32:54.940 One man pardoned by Biden, convicted of kidnapping and murdering a 12-year-old girl during a cross-country road trip in 2010.
00:33:02.520 How do you?
00:33:06.020 How do you?
00:33:09.260 Excuse me.
00:33:10.140 I just, I just can't wrap my head around this.
00:33:13.440 The man, Thomas Sanders, met the girl's mother in the summer of 2010 in Las Vegas.
00:33:19.760 They began dating two months later.
00:33:22.480 She agreed to bring her daughter on a road trip to a wildlife park near Grand Canyon with this man, Sanders, according to the Justice Department press release.
00:33:31.160 On the return trip, Sanders pulled over a remote area, fatally shot the mother in the head, and took the 12-year-old captive.
00:33:38.320 He proceeded to drive for several days across the country until arriving in Louisiana, where he shot and killed her, shot her four times, cut her throat, and abandoned her body in the woods.
00:33:52.280 A local hunter discovered the 12-year-old's body.
00:33:55.560 A Philadelphia drug kingpin, also on the list, Philadelphia, Cabani Savage is his name, on death row for ordering a hit on the home of a federal witness.
00:34:09.260 A serial killer.
00:34:10.220 Jorge Alvarez, Alvera Torres, rather, convicted in 2011, the murder of Navy Petty Officer Amanda Jean Snell, as she slept in her barracks, already in prison for several abductions and a rape, for which he was also later convicted, according to the Justice Department.
00:34:31.680 He was a corporal in the Marine Corps, living on the same floor of the barracks as his victim.
00:34:35.860 This whole list of people, by the way, you know what's going to make it even crazier?
00:34:50.760 Deportation is possible.
00:34:51.840 Pardons and commutations are not reversible by President-elect Trump.
00:34:55.560 A commutation of a sentence has no effect on a person's immigration status will not prevent removal or deportation for the United States to be eligible to apply for commutation of sentence.
00:35:05.220 A person must have reported to prison to begin serving a sentence.
00:35:08.920 It may not challenge us.
00:35:10.040 They have the background of it.
00:35:13.600 So, the good news is, the adults are back in the room.
00:35:17.600 The hope is that on day one, you're going to see a restoration of law and order like you've never seen before.
00:35:25.080 But it can't come soon enough, thanks to you, your actions, getting out, getting the word out, participating in elections, and thanks to the divine intervention that I think we all received this last year.
00:35:42.940 We've got another crack at it.
00:35:45.400 Hope is.
00:35:47.480 Help is on the way.
00:35:49.000 More after this.
00:35:50.880 Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck Program.
00:35:53.840 Back next.
00:35:56.360 You're listening to the Glenn Beck Program.
00:35:58.540 I don't need to tell you how important a good night's sleep is for your body, your mind, your whole outlook on life.
00:36:17.560 But if you're like most people, sometimes you just can't fall asleep or you wake up during the night.

00:37:07.000 Just go to relieffactor.com or 1-800-4-RELIEF.
00:37:10.240 1-800-4-RELIEF.
00:37:22.040 You see the latest here?
00:37:24.060 Biden backing out of that student loan debt forgiveness.
00:37:28.140 I don't know who's going to be more upset about those things or the family.
00:37:33.920 One of the families, or they just granted some clemency for the killer of a family member.
00:37:39.560 On Sunday afternoon, I was actually gathered with my in-laws for our family Christmas.
00:37:45.100 My sister was gathered with her in-laws, and we got the call, and I was angry.
00:37:49.880 I'm still angry.
00:37:51.940 I am upset that this is even happening, that one man can make this decision without even
00:38:00.180 talking to the victims, without any regard for what we've been through, what we're going
00:38:05.360 through.
00:38:06.620 I'm completely hurt, frustrated, and angry.
00:38:09.460 So, Heather, nobody gave you a heads up that this was coming from the White House?
00:38:13.680 So, in May, we heard that this was a possibility.
00:38:16.300 And at that point, we began writing letters to the pardon attorney.
00:38:20.820 I reached out requesting an in-person meeting in D.C.
00:38:25.740 And they didn't get it.
00:38:26.620 By the way, Donna Major was killed in the bank during a robbery gone awry, and the man
00:38:32.760 shot and killed her cold blood.
00:38:34.480 I believe shot her in the head.
00:38:38.360 So, you imagine the family having to spend Christmas now thinking about this.
00:38:43.680 This is par for the course, and of course, a very, you know, just unthinkable way to spend
00:38:56.060 your Christmas season.
00:38:58.320 And we were refused.
00:38:59.820 They denied our right to have our voices heard.
00:39:03.360 We're victims.
00:39:05.120 My mother was murdered at the hands of Brandon Hansel.
00:39:08.740 They should have heard our story, and all we got was a 10-minute virtual conference, and
00:39:16.020 clearly, that fell on deaf ears.
00:39:17.660 They did not want to hear our story.
00:39:19.700 Well, somebody at the Justice Department, somebody inside the Biden regime, wasn't Biden
00:39:24.980 himself, somebody inside there that said, we're just going to do this.
00:39:27.640 We're just going to do whatever we want to do, because that's what they do.
00:39:30.620 By the way, forget what the American people, he said, I can't, I can't, my conscience won't
00:39:36.380 allow it, I've got to make sure that I end this, we've halted this, the execution, and
00:39:41.260 make sure the next administration can't do this.
00:39:43.020 Forget the will of the people.
00:39:44.380 The people have spoken.
00:39:45.260 I'll tell you, the people have spoken, that loud and clear, the mandate is there, and Donald
00:39:49.760 J. Trump puts his hand on the Bible, becomes the 47th President of the United States, just
00:39:54.180 days from now.
00:39:55.020 Now, things are going to change.
00:40:00.360 Some more hope on the way, we'll talk about some of those changes coming up in hour two.
00:40:04.320 Justin Barkley, at Mr. Justin Barkley, all line, as well as Justin Barkley back in just
00:40:10.260 moments, in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck Program.
00:40:12.420 Merry Christmas.
00:40:14.060 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:40:16.300 We have no room to compromise.
00:40:37.040 We've got to stay together if we're going to survive.
00:40:45.080 Stay the strength, and hold the light.
00:40:53.420 It's a new day, a time to rise.
00:41:02.920 Welcome to the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
00:41:10.760 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:41:15.080 It is a new day, and Merry Christmas to you as we enter into a new day and a new year,
00:41:23.420 maybe a new era, not just in the country, but maybe for the rest of the world.
00:41:30.720 President Trump, in just days, will put his hand on the Bible and be sworn in as the 47th
00:41:35.860 President of the United States.
00:41:36.900 Looking back, there are quite a few things that have to be dealt with as we move forward.
00:41:43.760 A lot of rights that have to get restored, and some of those are for some folks that have
00:41:50.340 been rotting in jail and prison for the last several years.
00:41:54.840 You talk about real injustices.
00:41:57.020 We just talked about Biden commuting sentences of these murders.
00:42:01.300 What about folks that are rotting in dungeons right now?
00:42:05.720 Julie Kelly joins us coming up after this and talk about the pardons that are on the way
00:42:10.520 for folks that may deserve it the most.
00:42:14.700 Back after this, Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck Program.
00:42:18.500 What is the best gift this holiday season?
00:42:26.620 How about years or even decades off your appearance?
00:42:29.320 Because every day, people look at your face and your jawline, and hopefully it's not as
00:42:33.860 negative an experience as it is when people look at my face, but I will say if you use

00:43:28.140 How many are running in jail right now that we're filling in there?
00:43:31.920 Political persecution, prosecution, January 6th and others.
00:43:35.520 Julie Kelly's been covering this like no other, and she joins us now.
00:43:38.980 So, Julie, welcome in.
00:43:40.740 Appreciate you being here with us today.
00:43:42.200 Merry Christmas, Justin.
00:43:43.400 Thanks so much for having me on today.
00:43:45.000 Merry Christmas.
00:43:46.180 I can't help but think about this.
00:43:47.920 I actually know a man who spent, and you'll know him too, last Christmas in jail away from
00:43:54.860 his family because of the persecution surrounding January 6th.
00:44:01.700 And I know there's still folks that are locked up.
00:44:03.420 A lot of people don't think about this, but, you know, I guess I'm reminded, and we'll start
00:44:09.440 with that out of the gate.
00:44:12.080 What do you think is coming?
00:44:14.160 Trump talking about pardons and maybe more for these folks as we see it.
00:44:19.560 Some of them tried to put their lives back together, the pieces of which, and now we're
00:44:22.920 starting to learn more.
00:44:23.760 We'll talk about some of the latest updates in a moment.
00:44:26.280 But what about, is there some hope for those folks on the horizon?
00:44:31.300 I believe that there is.
00:44:32.680 I think there's hope on the horizon for many of them.
00:44:36.760 We have a J6 criminal caseload approaching 1,600 total defendants.
00:44:43.260 The Biden DOJ, under DCUS Attorney Matthew Graves, the Biden appointee, continues to arrest
00:44:50.180 and charge people almost on a daily basis, despite the fact that President Trump has pledged
00:44:56.600 for over a year that he will pardon most, if not all, J6ers.
00:45:00.740 And, Justin, not only are there J6ers still rotting in federal prison after being convicted
00:45:07.400 by all Democrat juries in Washington, D.C. on bogus charges, D.C. prosecutor Matthew Graves
00:45:14.900 and federal judges are sending people to prison now.
00:45:19.040 So they are still putting these people behind bars almost four years later.
00:45:24.780 And this includes on nonviolent, low-level misdemeanors.
00:45:30.460 So it's not, of course, it's a travesty of people who are still in jail for excessive
00:45:35.160 sentences.
00:45:36.300 But it's even more egregious after the election with a new incoming Attorney General, a new
00:45:41.680 incoming D.C. U.S. attorney, and obviously the President, planning to pardon hundreds
00:45:46.520 of J6ers on day one, that they are still accelerating this abusive, vengeful prosecution against Trump
00:45:55.060 supporters.
00:45:56.220 You know, I think it's one thing if there's violence involved and things like that.
00:46:00.160 But even though we have seen some real eyes opened unto what was happening, the amount
00:46:08.000 of federal agents who were present that day, and story after story that really makes you
00:46:13.620 take a closer look at this.
00:46:15.680 But you've got to wonder, how do we stop some of this from going as far as it has gone?
00:46:23.120 Because in the future, you still have a lot of these players who are responsible for this
00:46:27.360 insanity sitting on benches.
00:46:29.420 And I know you've been in their courtrooms and watched this stuff play out.
00:46:32.420 It's incredible.
00:46:35.000 It's absolutely infuriating.
00:46:37.340 I was in the D.C.
00:46:38.820 Courthouse last week.
00:46:41.340 They put on trial, and this is the chief judge of the Washington Federal District Court, James
00:46:47.880 Bosberg, an Obama appointee.
00:46:50.600 He was presiding over the misdemeanor trial of a woman who was inside the Capitol for nine
00:46:57.680 minutes.
00:46:58.520 She faces four federal misdemeanors.
00:47:00.980 He promised that he would take his time with jury selection in a city that just voted 93%
00:47:07.980 for Kamala Harris, once again denying motions for venue changes, which every D.C. judge, including
00:47:15.080 Republicans, including Trump supporters, have denied change of venue motions.
00:47:18.920 Think about this, Justin.
00:47:20.080 Putting this woman on trial, it took 90 minutes for jury selection.
00:47:26.260 Absolutely outrageous.
00:47:28.540 It was a two-day trial, and within a few hours, this D.C. jury once again came back with all
00:47:34.480 guilty verdicts for a woman.
00:47:36.380 You showed the video.
00:47:37.320 She was inside for nine minutes.
00:47:39.060 She was lost.
00:47:39.640 She was trying to get out.
00:47:40.940 She was chatting with police officers.
00:47:42.660 D.C. Metro and Capitol police officers were right there.
00:47:46.920 It was the Senate wing door.
00:47:48.300 She entered an hour after the building had been evacuated.
00:47:51.880 There were no proceedings going on at the time, but nonetheless convicted in, again, record
00:47:57.260 time by all Democrats on this D.C. jury, and now waiting for Biden's DOJ to come back
00:48:03.180 and ask for her to be in jail for up to a year on this conviction.
00:48:08.240 That's incredible.
00:48:08.540 I just can't, I can't imagine.
00:48:11.140 Nine minutes for a year, and you know, you know what I'm struck with the most is the
00:48:16.480 videos that we saw that day of the people orderly walking through the velvet ropes there
00:48:23.060 in the rotunda.
00:48:24.280 I mean, this is who you're talking about, somebody that did not know where they were, was caught
00:48:29.220 up, maybe lost in the situation.
00:48:32.100 This is incredible.
00:48:35.220 Oh, can you hear me?
00:48:36.320 I'm sorry.
00:48:36.680 Yeah, I don't know what happened there.
00:48:38.880 Wait, we just broke off for a second.
00:48:40.280 I'll fix it here.
00:48:41.320 But to me, this reminds me of the videos we saw where the people were walking through the
00:48:47.040 velvet ropes in the rotunda.
00:48:49.000 I mean, this is the same type of, she didn't know where she was.
00:48:51.840 She was lost.
00:48:52.560 This isn't somebody who needs to be locked up for a year.
00:48:57.080 Absolutely not.
00:48:57.800 But this is representative of so many J6 cases, which is why President Trump on day one should
00:49:04.800 immediately pardon, as I said, most, if not all.
00:49:08.140 Now, you bring up the issue of violent offenders.
00:49:10.400 I've seen other people, including the president, bring this up.
00:49:13.400 But even those accused of violence, they did not receive a fair trial in Washington.
00:49:17.800 The evidence was rigged, so only what was favorable to the government was presented to jurors.
00:49:26.860 I've seen this over and over.
00:49:28.840 Furthermore, it escapes culpability for the police officers who engaged in such egregious
00:49:34.900 misconduct, resulting in the death of three Trump supporters, including fatal shooting,
00:49:40.320 killing of Ashley Babbitt.
00:49:41.860 But, Justin, as the J6 narrative is disintegrating in the public and political sphere, the judges
00:49:49.660 and prosecutors in the D.C. courthouse are completely, well, they act like they are insulated
00:49:55.400 or ignorant because all the new evidence that we've seen over the past year or so, not just
00:50:00.860 federal agents, misconduct by police officers, and other lies that the public has been told
00:50:06.360 now being exposed that this is of no interest to federal judges and these prosecutors.
00:50:11.860 Okay, so you kind of bring us, Julie, now to the point that I wanted to get into.
00:50:19.540 Just recently, we're starting to learn more about some of these people, well, you know,
00:50:26.880 what was going on behind the scenes last week.
00:50:28.880 Well, we heard more about what was going on behind the scenes with Liz Cheney and the testimony
00:50:36.260 of Cassidy Hutchison and how it looks like, boy, I'll tell you what, it looks like witness
00:50:40.480 tampering to me, it sure does.
00:50:42.960 But we're learning more about what was happening behind the scenes.
00:50:46.540 On that story, the Secret Service, the driver of the beast, and that crazy, wacky, we knew
00:50:51.900 from the beginning this is just insane.
00:50:53.720 It was just so absurd that President Trump would lunge towards the driver of the beast.
00:50:58.740 And there's more details coming out about this.
00:51:00.860 It's been hidden this whole time.
00:51:02.140 Well, what Chairman Barry Loudermilk, who is the chair of this subcommittee for the House
00:51:08.960 Administration Committee, Barry Loudermilk is investigating the events of January 6th and
00:51:14.720 also the J6 Select Committee.
00:51:16.420 What he has produced are text messages that were exchanged on an encrypted app between Cassidy
00:51:23.440 Hutchinson, the committee's star witness, and Liz Cheney directly, the vice chairman of the
00:51:30.760 J6 Committee at the time.
00:51:32.940 What it appears is that Liz Cheney convinced Cassidy Hutchinson to fire her existing attorney
00:51:39.300 at the time, who was being paid by Donald Trump's PAC, as Donald Trump was paying for
00:51:44.080 a lot of White House officials who were being, you know, dragged before the J6 Select Committee
00:51:50.360 numerous times to give depositions.
00:51:53.740 So it appears Liz Cheney convinced Cassidy Hutchinson to dump that attorney.
00:51:58.600 She found two attorneys to work pro bono for Cassidy Hutchinson.
00:52:02.860 And then, Justin, all of a sudden, Cassidy Hutchinson's story changed.
00:52:06.820 She had already given two interviews to the J6 Select Committee.
00:52:11.460 She never brought up any sort of confrontation that happened in the presidential vehicle that
00:52:16.360 afternoon, never said that Donald Trump was aware of weapons at the ellipse, never said
00:52:20.620 that, you know, he threw a plate with ketchup on it.
00:52:23.280 All of this suddenly materialized in June of 2022 in her explosive public performance.
00:52:31.420 And this appears to be the result of Liz Cheney collaborating behind the scenes to cast
00:52:36.800 Cassidy Hutchinson and her new attorneys to concoct these, you know, outlandish stories
00:52:43.080 that nonetheless the media picked up as fast.
00:52:45.960 Well, the driver of the vehicle, Justin, and I was posting this yesterday, begged the committee,
00:52:52.080 his attorney begged the committee for months to testify to contradict what Cassidy Hutchinson
00:52:57.520 had said, had said, only before election day on 2022, when everyone knew Republicans were
00:53:04.460 going to win, did the committee sit down with the driver of that vehicle, who on numerous
00:53:09.800 occasions said that incident never happened.
00:53:13.300 They concealed that transcript until a few months ago, buried it at the Biden White House.
00:53:18.920 Loudermilk finally got it.
00:53:20.680 And that's what I've been posting as well.
00:53:23.000 No one has corroborated Cassidy Hutchinson's story.
00:53:26.600 It appears that not only did Liz Cheney suborn perjury, but was involved with the destruction
00:53:31.340 of evidence produced by the committee, one terabyte of records, and every single video
00:53:36.340 recording made of these transcribed interviews that over a thousand witnesses participated in
00:53:42.000 during the 18-month J6 committee investigation.
00:53:45.340 Julie, can you hold for a second?
00:53:47.060 I want to ask you about what stood out the most in that testimony to you.
00:53:49.940 But also, just a quick recap, just a few minutes left on the other side of the break here,
00:53:55.300 where we'll be able to kind of give everybody a heads up on what remains of any cases President
00:54:01.400 Trump might face and where things are going from here.
00:54:04.940 So we're just days away for him putting his hand on the Bible, getting sworn in, and beginning
00:54:09.900 his presidency as the 47th here in the United States.
00:54:13.140 Back with more after this on the Glenn Beck Program.

00:55:28.320 And wanted to just find out that testimony.
00:55:31.140 Some of it's come out here.
00:55:32.380 The driver of the beast in this absurd story.
00:55:35.500 Finally getting the update and the light shine on it that it should have all along.
00:55:40.260 Julie, what stood out to you the most out of the testimony that came out, the driver,
00:55:44.400 that Secret Service member?
00:55:46.840 I mean, really just on, well, here's what really stood out.
00:55:50.140 It was clear that no one on the committee, either the staff investigators or the members
00:55:55.740 who were involved in this questioning, was going to ask the driver about this alleged
00:56:01.400 confrontation.
00:56:02.000 They avoided it.
00:56:03.280 And it was only after the attorney representing the driver, who's still unnamed but is still
00:56:08.940 with the Secret Service, it was only after the attorney and the witness, the driver, raised
00:56:13.880 it voluntarily that they addressed this confrontation at all.
00:56:18.700 And then Liz Cheney, she, of course, tried to avoid this.
00:56:23.660 And then at the end said, well, I just want to make sure we never said that there was a
00:56:27.760 physical assault in the vehicle.
00:56:30.400 Well, she described it herself as a physical altercation during Cassidy Hutchinson's televised
00:56:36.480 testimony.
00:56:38.180 So this just underscores the sneakiness, the corruption, the dirtiness of Liz Cheney, which
00:56:44.440 is exactly why Donald Trump and others are correct to say she should face investigation
00:56:49.260 and criminal charges, not just for her conduct on the committee, but intentionally deceiving
00:56:54.420 the American people in her long time effort to take down Donald Trump and the MAGA movement.
00:57:01.120 Julie Kelly with us.
00:57:02.460 Last but not least, what makes a standstill of any of the cases or charges of President
00:57:09.420 Trump out there?
00:57:10.260 Well, we've seen one after the other fall or really crumble like a house of cards.
00:57:15.800 Well, I think the greatest thing to happen in the last few weeks is the Georgia appellate
00:57:20.140 court who reversed the lower court, Judge Scott McAfee, who did his best to salvage Fannie
00:57:26.420 Willis from her disqualification proceedings because of her conflicts, obviously.
00:57:31.400 So she has permanently removed, her office removed from that case, Jack Smith dismissing the
00:57:37.500 two, well, one had already been dismissed by Judge Cannon earlier this year in Florida.
00:57:41.820 The documents case, Jack Smith then moving to dismiss the indictment in Washington on the
00:57:46.920 January 6th case against Donald Trump.
00:57:50.040 So, but of course, Juan Mershon will be the last man standing trying to keep that case, the
00:57:56.320 34 bogus felony convictions alive in New York until after Donald Trump leaves the White
00:58:04.040 House in 2029.
00:58:07.520 Julie, what's the best way folks can stay up today with all the breaking news and things
00:58:11.880 that you're covering?
00:58:12.480 You do such a great job at this.
00:58:13.680 I follow you on X, but what's the best way people can stay up today?
00:58:17.920 Thanks, Justin.
00:58:18.700 Thanks for having me on.
00:58:19.540 And so I have my own sub stack, declassified with Julie Kelly, also write for Real Clear
00:58:23.820 Investigations, and as you know, do a lot of posting on X Twitter, Julie underscore Kelly
00:58:30.060 too.
00:58:31.640 Fantastic.
00:58:32.460 Thanks for the update and Merry Christmas, Julie.
00:58:35.160 We appreciate you taking the time to be here with us today.
00:58:37.880 Merry Christmas to you and your family, Justin.
00:58:39.880 You too.
00:58:40.940 And, you know, because it is Christmassy, we got, we still have a very special, well,
00:58:48.780 a couple of things coming up in the show for you, but we can't, we also can't ignore that
00:58:54.220 holiday that maybe you too have grown to know and love, right?
00:59:00.660 Festivus.
00:59:02.820 Well, it was yesterday in the airing of the grievings as well.
00:59:06.460 Well, it's all, it's, it's all of the, uh, all the things that you're upset about, all
00:59:10.980 the Festivus poll and all that, uh, you know, the made up holiday from Seinfeld, uh, fantastic.
00:59:17.440 Rand Paul is taking it and, and, and just run with it.
00:59:21.040 And, you know, every year now he comes out with ran that list of, you know, waste, fraud
00:59:29.040 and abuse.
00:59:29.840 And it's this year, probably more important than ever before, because something he's been
00:59:34.940 doing for years is really going to get a front row seat at the table and, uh, and doge
00:59:42.700 the department of government efficiency with Elon Musk.
00:59:45.560 And of course, uh, Vivek Ramaswamy really going to be taking these things and bringing
00:59:50.320 them to light more than ever before a trillion dollars on, on just absolute waste drag shows,
00:59:59.340 Arabic Sesame Street.
01:00:02.140 That's a thing.
01:00:03.340 And the two juxtaposed.
01:00:05.180 I just can't imagine lonely rats.
01:00:09.280 Just a few, just a few of the things, $10,000 spent on a bearded lady ice skating show, a bearded
01:00:18.920 lady ice skating show.
01:00:21.040 So just one of the numerous examples, they say, the frivolous federal spending highlighted
01:00:27.340 by Senator Rand Paul.
01:00:28.580 And the latest on this is he's released the list.
01:00:31.040 You're going to hear from Rand coming up.
01:00:32.740 And of course, join us if you like at any point in time in the program, 888-727-BECK.
01:00:38.100 That's 888-727-BECK.
01:00:42.880 As we get the Festivus report in, in, uh, in just moments.
01:00:47.840 I think you're going to dig, you're going to dig that.
01:00:49.540 You're really going to love it.
01:00:51.800 In the meantime, I just, I, I want to tell you this before we run into the break.
01:00:56.720 I don't know what you're doing today.
01:00:57.940 I don't know how you're celebrating, but I just got this message from my precious angels,
01:01:04.500 my little girls.
01:01:05.340 And something that was recorded, just, I guess, candid, random singing in the kitchen this morning.
01:01:11.340 No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
01:01:41.320 I know they're not quite as polished as, uh, as Cheyenne Grace.
01:01:46.880 But I'll tell you, those two are my pride and joy.
01:01:49.840 And, uh, man, I am, I am thrilled to hear them singing the, the songs of the season.
01:01:54.620 And I had to share.
01:01:55.820 I'm a dad.
01:01:56.400 That's what I do.
01:01:57.140 Back with more after this.

01:03:23.560 Go tell it on the mountain
01:03:27.280 Over the hills of the sea
01:03:31.200 Everywhere
01:03:32.880 That's fantastic.
01:03:36.460 A little bit better production quality, just a little bit, than my girls in the kitchen singing this morning.
01:03:43.800 But yeah, we'll take it, and God bless.
01:03:46.460 It's just a beautiful...
01:03:47.960 I think that was from the Believe album a few years ago.
01:03:51.480 I know Glenn's getting into the record business.
01:03:53.280 Maybe I get some worked out for mine.
01:03:55.100 Go tell it on the mountain
01:03:59.520 All right, that's enough.
01:04:05.540 I love you girls.
01:04:10.240 It's a beautiful thing.
01:04:12.360 And man, this year, Christmas is back.
01:04:15.940 Have you noticed this?
01:04:17.020 Christmas is actually back.
01:04:19.260 They tried...
01:04:21.420 They've been trying for years.
01:04:23.520 But they tried to cancel Christmas.
01:04:26.280 And I don't know about you.
01:04:29.320 We're just not going to let that happen.
01:04:32.440 Kamala tried to cancel Christmas.
01:04:34.380 How dare we speak Merry Christmas?
01:04:36.760 How dare we?
01:04:38.460 Well, guess what?
01:04:40.200 We're saying Merry Christmas again.
01:04:45.300 It's right.
01:04:46.560 We're saying Merry Christmas again.
01:04:49.520 And we're also...
01:04:52.240 We can't ignore, can't forget the holiday tradition of Festivus.
01:04:57.180 The tradition of Festivus begins with the airing of grievances.
01:05:01.920 Rand Paul has quite a few.
01:05:03.440 In fact, he comes out with this list every year.
01:05:06.100 It's become like a massive tradition.
01:05:10.140 And really what it's known for more than anything else,
01:05:12.960 it's just giving you the waste, fraud, and abuse
01:05:15.620 that our government is...
01:05:17.520 A federal government anyway.
01:05:18.980 They're so used to perpetrating on us.
01:05:24.860 And here is just a few in the report.
01:05:28.060 Matter of fact, a big year.
01:05:30.640 Because why?
01:05:31.460 Because he's been doing this for years.
01:05:35.360 Finally.
01:05:36.620 You have a mandate to cut, to get rid of some of this stuff.
01:05:41.540 The president, obviously, you've got the Doge Caucus,
01:05:46.440 Department of Government Efficiency,
01:05:49.120 you've got folks like Elon Musk that want to overlook and oversee some of this,
01:05:53.080 did a report done along with Vake,
01:05:55.340 and they're going to be handing it over to the president.
01:05:57.060 Now, they don't have any power to actually do any cutting themselves,
01:05:59.500 but they're going to hand this report over to the president,
01:06:02.900 and that's where the rubber is going to start to meet the road.
01:06:06.240 Now, you know, Congress controls the purse strings.
01:06:08.580 But there are some things, there's some executive actions and whatnot
01:06:13.440 the president's going to be able to do.
01:06:15.600 We'll have to wait and see what he actually ends up doing.
01:06:18.380 But this, to me, I just, I find to be perfectly timed.
01:06:30.060 Senator Rand Paul's annual festive report, the Festivus report,
01:06:34.500 the satirical critique, as you know, inspired by the Seinfeld episode,
01:06:39.560 The Strike, where Festivus is an alternative holiday created by the character
01:06:43.360 Frank Costanza, George's dad, symbolizing a protest
01:06:48.560 against the commercialization of Christmas.
01:06:52.600 The report highlighting the various instances of government waste
01:06:56.740 with a focus on seemingly frivolous expenditures
01:07:00.680 coinciding with the Government Accountability Office's recent report
01:07:03.720 on $236 billion in federal improper payments.
01:07:09.320 Can you imagine?
01:07:10.120 And what do I got to do to get one of those improper payments?
01:07:13.360 Because nothing's ever going to take it back.
01:07:18.360 I don't know how they work.
01:07:19.080 If I spend it, it's gone.
01:07:21.980 I'd like a little improper payment here or there.
01:07:26.240 Well, it's obvious.
01:07:27.920 The inefficiencies and the waste, the fraud, and the abuse,
01:07:32.060 and the government spending.
01:07:34.740 So here we have a couple of the things on the list this year.
01:07:39.560 And I gather around, children.
01:07:43.360 Gather around as I give you the list.
01:07:48.160 And, well, we've made it.
01:07:49.300 Rand has anyway.
01:07:50.360 And he's checking it twice to find out how naughty the government's been.
01:07:57.120 Well, you know one of those things?
01:07:58.360 There's a secret service protection on Fauci.
01:08:02.020 I'll give you this.
01:08:04.380 I think it's kind of interesting to see.
01:08:09.500 I think they're going to do away with this.
01:08:12.380 This guy.
01:08:13.740 I don't know why he's that.
01:08:15.000 Well, it's just another example.
01:08:18.520 Just another example of all the craziness and why we spend so much money.
01:08:24.520 And you talk about the programs that Fauci oversaw.
01:08:29.740 Oh, boy.
01:08:32.380 $3 million in this report they found, Rand Paul, in his festive report,
01:08:37.040 for girl-centered climate action in Brazil.
01:08:42.880 $3 million for girl-centered climate action in Brazil.
01:08:48.160 First of all, I don't even know what that could mean.
01:08:52.180 I don't understand possibly what our girls, ladies, women,
01:08:58.120 are you responsible for more climate change issues than men?
01:09:07.020 Somehow women are partially, I think, what is that?
01:09:11.920 I don't know.
01:09:12.560 The privilege here is really tough to see through.
01:09:14.680 I'm not sure whether that's, you know, that's sexist.
01:09:20.480 I'm not sure how to, how do you, how do I wrap my head around that?
01:09:24.380 How dare you?
01:09:25.380 Thank you, Greta.
01:09:26.020 I needed, I needed to figure that.
01:09:29.840 I'm not sure if I had a way out of that, and I didn't want to step at it.
01:09:32.740 Blah, blah, blah.
01:09:33.460 Yeah, exactly.
01:09:34.120 $20 million for a new Sesame Street show.
01:09:38.160 It's Arabic.
01:09:41.860 Arabic Sesame Street, from what I understand.
01:09:44.460 $10,000 for the Bearded Ladies Cabaret.
01:09:48.860 Here we go again.
01:09:50.260 A climate change-focused ice skate show.
01:09:56.040 Where are they coming up with this?
01:09:58.280 Who's responsible?
01:10:00.200 And think about this.
01:10:01.360 Think about how bad it is.
01:10:02.820 When the government rips this money from your wallets, from your fists, when they rip it out, you know, essentially, the way things are set up, the way things work in this country, you give your time and you trade it for money.
01:10:16.980 You're trading not just your time, but a piece of your life.
01:10:20.240 You're trading a piece of your life, your soul, who you are, for that money every day you get up and go to work.
01:10:28.680 You do that because you want to make the world a better place and give your kids the opportunity that you never had in a lot of ways.
01:10:35.580 You want to give them the same, if not better, opportunity.
01:10:40.280 And you do that.
01:10:41.160 But you give yourself a little bit away every day to make that possible.
01:10:44.920 And the government comes in, what does the government say?
01:10:48.900 Oh, we'll take that.
01:10:52.900 You know, the Lord never asked for more than 10%.
01:10:56.560 And here's the government coming away with more than half in a lot of cases.
01:11:06.100 And what's it for?
01:11:08.160 Well, $10,000 of it went to the Bearded Ladies Cabaret for a climate change focused ice skate show.
01:11:17.340 $365,000 went for circuses in city parks.
01:11:23.300 Circuses in city parks.
01:11:26.560 What is, what is, what is that?
01:11:28.880 What, what is some of the, you won't believe us.
01:11:31.180 Next one.
01:11:31.600 $32,500 breakdancing.
01:11:37.820 Now, who doesn't say who's breakdancing, why they're breakdancing, what got broken when they were dancing.
01:11:43.320 None of that.
01:11:43.900 But we have 32, almost $33,000 for breakdancing.
01:11:48.640 $330,000 went for censuring conservative media.
01:11:52.840 I'm not making that up.
01:11:54.280 Now, you know what that, that's looked like over the last several years.
01:12:00.900 If they were still in charge, if they were still in control, they'd be doing the same thing.
01:12:07.620 And it'd probably get worse.
01:12:09.580 In fact, they just saw The View.
01:12:10.980 They were, they were out talking about this on The View the other day.
01:12:17.280 There was, there was, there was a whole thing about, well, you know, if we, if we would have been able to censor social media, then we'd, we'd still, we'd still be in control.
01:12:26.360 And gosh, there's never been anything done about that.
01:12:28.440 We could just get social media censored.
01:12:30.580 Think critically.
01:12:31.880 Well, it would help if we could regulate social media.
01:12:34.460 Because one of the biggest offenders is D.C. and Congress have not been able to do one thing in regard to the rogue corporations of social media.
01:12:41.360 It's not going to get any better with Elon Musk in the administration.
01:12:44.680 Look, they've been censoring social media, ma'am.
01:12:47.620 It's been regulated behind the scenes for years now.
01:12:52.460 And, you know, one might argue, you know, one of the only reasons why we're able to get out of this mess is Elon Musk.
01:12:59.160 So they're going to turn all their sights on him.
01:13:01.460 You know, that's going.
01:13:03.340 Because if they can't, if they can't, they can't continue to give away.
01:13:06.520 He's going to be at the forefront of telling you what some of this waste, fraud, and abuse is.
01:13:09.880 $720,000 for conservation of ducks in Mexico.
01:13:17.380 In fact, what we saw happen earlier last week may be a primer.
01:13:22.000 It may be a precursor to some of the things that we're going to see, the way we can fight back in the future.
01:13:28.260 And the good news is it's not just it's technology, but it's the people that use it and the social media that's made it possible.
01:13:35.300 X may have killed the way, not just this latest bill.
01:13:39.880 But the way things are done in the swamp, Elon may have had a big hand in that.
01:13:45.200 We'll tell you how, actually, coming up in just a bit.
01:13:47.960 I've got a clip from the folks, the billionaires that sit around on that podcast.
01:13:52.800 It's a really interesting podcast.
01:13:55.440 The all, is it all in?
01:13:56.980 There's an all-in podcast where they talk about this.
01:14:00.200 It's not just Elon.
01:14:01.700 It's not just what happened last week.
01:14:03.280 It's a deeper dive in the technology that makes these things possible.
01:14:07.460 We'll get into that.
01:14:08.540 Killing Waste, Fraud, and Abuse this time of year.
01:14:11.560 Always a fun thing to do.
01:14:13.280 We're back with more of it.
01:14:14.960 After this, Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck Program.
01:14:18.420 Back next.
01:14:20.540 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:14:22.840 Hey, I saw Scrooge.
01:14:38.480 You know what's worse than coal in your stocking?

01:15:31.800 Claim your $25 off and free meat in every box for a year.
01:15:34.800 GoodRanchers.com.
01:15:35.900 American meat delivered.
01:15:36.880 We may have just done it.
01:15:51.940 Elon Musk and X.
01:15:54.920 I may have just, along with you, President Trump and the mandate, just sort of transformed,
01:16:00.820 not just with this latest bill, the 1,500 pager, but transformed the way all of this works in general.
01:16:08.060 In fact, a podcast I enjoy called The All-In Podcast, a bunch of billionaires sitting around,
01:16:13.540 they actually have a great conversation.
01:16:15.320 These guys drove a lot of funding and a lot of support for President Trump in the election as well.
01:16:22.160 They're very pragmatic and realistic thinkers in a lot of ways, but they'll also give you sort of an idea of what's possible.
01:16:34.740 They talk about the technology, in fact, what was used in this whole scenario, in fact, to get through the 1,500-page bill,
01:16:43.880 find out what was inside, et cetera.
01:16:45.440 What are your thoughts on what we saw this past 72 hours with relation to this bill?
01:16:50.080 It was the most incredible change in how politics will be done going forward.
01:16:57.160 I think that people are probably underestimating what happened here.
01:17:03.180 This was a multi-hundred-billion-dollar grift that was stopped on a dime over 12 hours of tweets.
01:17:14.040 Yeah.
01:17:14.480 You would have never thought that that was possible.
01:17:16.960 The point is to put a dagger in something that big that had so much broad support just a few hours earlier,
01:17:26.260 I think it's so consequential in how the United States can run going forward.
01:17:31.780 It's not just about what happened the other day with that bill.
01:17:37.640 It's the technology and it's the model now, the ability to look inside these things.
01:17:43.280 Remember the old Nancy Pelosi thing?
01:17:44.660 Well, you've got to pass it to be able to see what's inside of it.
01:17:47.480 They dump these things on the desks of these staffers and nobody knew what was inside.
01:17:54.740 They just run around on the media telling them,
01:17:57.020 we've got to pass this or the sky is going to fall.
01:17:59.540 Hakeem Jeffries and the Democrats tried the same thing again this time and it did not work.
01:18:03.820 In fact, it's failed miserably because people are on to him.
01:18:07.000 Building on what you said, Chamath,
01:18:08.240 also very interesting here is the fact that Trump hasn't taken office yet and they're having this huge impact.
01:18:15.560 This is occurring a month before he's even in office.
01:18:19.220 If they can stop this, what will they do when they actually are in power?
01:18:23.120 I think right now you're seeing the first order reaction, which is about the bill itself.
01:18:28.560 And I think that misses the point.
01:18:30.020 The bigger issue is going forward, you will have the ability to and part of it is because we have a set of tools now that allows us to do this.
01:18:40.200 He's talking about AI, ChatGPT or Grok or whatever it might be, but there's a whole number of these and they're getting smarter.
01:18:48.380 They're getting better every day.
01:18:49.820 To read 1500 pages in a matter of minutes, to summarize it into the key essential elements,
01:18:55.680 to really understand what's being asked and what's being offered.
01:19:00.400 Here's what he described it as.
01:19:01.980 Chamath said, new feature, Grok auto-analyzes all new congressional bills,
01:19:07.640 summarizes it into a few pages a fifth grader can understand and publishes it into everyone's feed.
01:19:14.340 You can mute these stories, but you can't say you weren't given a chance to know.
01:19:18.420 This is a proposal for a new idea.
01:19:20.040 I think that's fascinating.
01:19:21.860 And think about this.
01:19:22.820 It's going to give the power back to the American people.
01:19:28.120 There's a lot of ways that you're overwhelmed.
01:19:30.080 You don't have time to read through.
01:19:31.260 I mean, you wouldn't read through 100 pages.
01:19:33.860 The average person wouldn't read through one page.
01:19:39.220 But now you can know and you could know in short form, short order to exactly what it is
01:19:44.900 and that it makes it approachable for everyone.
01:19:47.060 And then to put it in a digestible format that normal people can consume,
01:19:52.760 then all you'll have to do is just connect the dots and tell your congressman or congresswoman
01:19:57.440 that you'd like or dislike this thing.
01:19:59.320 And what you're going to see is a much more active form of government.
01:20:02.440 And I think...
01:20:03.040 I love this idea.
01:20:05.360 This is transformative.
01:20:06.860 And I got to tell you, I think he's right.

01:20:22.600 Not anymore.
01:20:25.560 There's a new dawn, a new era.

01:23:32.380 How about some hope?
01:23:34.000 Some good news.
01:23:35.200 Some encouragement.
01:23:37.000 Let's start with Pastor Lorenzo Sewell.
01:23:40.960 You can't deny the power of God on this man's life.
01:23:43.680 You can't deny that God protected him.
01:23:46.900 You cannot deny that it was a millimeter miracle that was able to save this man's life.
01:23:54.720 Could it be that Jesus Christ preserved him for such a time as this?
01:24:00.660 Could it be?
01:24:01.440 Detroit Pastor Lorenzo Sewell speaking at the RNC about President Trump?
01:24:13.120 Could it be that when we prayed for him when he came to the round table in Detroit that Jesus asked and he received that we sought him and then he found protection?
01:24:29.640 Could it be that the king of glory, the Lord God strong and mighty, the God who is mighty in battle protected Donald Trump because he wants to use him for such a time as this?
01:24:45.160 If you believe that, come on, put your hands together and give our great God, great glory!
01:24:51.520 I don't know if the RNC expected that they were going to have a little church in there, but they sure got it.
01:25:00.980 Pastor Lorenzo Sewell.
01:25:02.800 Gosh, I got to tell you.
01:25:03.960 Thank you for doing this.
01:25:06.160 Welcome on to the Glenn Beck Program.
01:25:08.040 Thank you so much for having me.
01:25:09.340 I'm so holy ghost happy to be here with you.
01:25:11.480 Yes, Pastor.
01:25:12.520 Well, you know, the reason why I want to talk, it's dual fault here.
01:25:16.980 I mean, I want to give people, obviously, some hope.
01:25:20.000 I want to give people, especially in some dark times, you know, the encouragement to know that good things are on the way.
01:25:28.380 In the natural, but also in the spiritual as well.
01:25:34.320 I want to give people a little bit of that, a dose of that.
01:25:36.620 And one of the stories I saw, I thought, got to talk about this.
01:25:39.880 You're probably one of the best people I can think of that talk about it, but it's an incredible story.
01:25:44.980 Bible sales are booming.
01:25:48.420 And this is data that has been collected by folks who do publishing and things like that.
01:25:53.520 22% Bible sales are up 22% in the last year.
01:25:59.300 And notably, it's a shift, actually, for first time.
01:26:06.500 Folks who have bought these Bibles for the first time they've ever engaged.
01:26:11.040 This is really something incredible.
01:26:13.300 What do you think is happening in this good news?
01:26:16.820 You know, it's interesting that you say that because King Solomon Davidson, the wisest and the richest man of all time,
01:26:23.060 he said that God put eternity in the heart of all people, meaning that we all have a Holy Ghost hunger.
01:26:33.960 We all have a desire, a longing, and a passion for Jesus to give us a real life encounter with him.
01:26:44.740 We all have a desire to understand that religion doesn't just do.
01:26:50.020 The rules and regulations just don't do.
01:26:52.720 But we need a personal, intimate encounter with Jesus Christ.
01:26:57.540 That's the only thing that we'll do.
01:26:59.120 And this is the reason why people are buying Bibles, because they want to have an encounter with the same Jesus that I had an encounter with.
01:27:06.160 Yeah, I, that's a good, that's a good, I think there is, there is something, there's a point that there's a hunger, I think, or a curiosity naturally in a lot of people.
01:27:16.900 Even, I think even when you're looking at people who, especially nowadays in this day and age, they're looking and they're going in all kinds of different places for that connection, for that something, there's craving something deeper.
01:27:28.140 You know, like, there's, there's got to be more to this, this life, there's got to be more to it than what I see on the surface.
01:27:35.460 And maybe in the last few years with everything that's going on and as bad as things have gotten, you know, President Trump, I know you talked about the millimeter miracle.
01:27:45.160 Sure.
01:27:45.600 When you gave that speech at RNC, President Trump was brought to his knees in that moment, and I think maybe the country has been as well.
01:27:55.500 Absolutely.
01:27:56.240 I mean, the Bible clearly shows us that God speaks through his word, his written word, he speaks through his son, but he also speaks through circumstances.
01:28:04.520 And I look at America, how we are essentially God's city, so to speak, that is set upon a hill.
01:28:10.220 I think about how Americans have sent out literally hundreds of millions of missionaries since his inception.
01:28:18.040 I think about being a black American and how white Christians taught black people how to read, right?
01:28:24.360 It was white Christians that started the Underground Railroad.
01:28:27.520 It was, we have a history in this country of glorifying Jesus.
01:28:32.320 And then in these last four years, we saw that the history of our country was going on the trajectory, quite frankly, where men were calling good evil and evil good, where we were becoming a Sodom and Gomorrah, so to speak, in our country.
01:28:49.260 I'm not saying that America is perfect, but what I am saying is that America was founded on the Yale Christian principles, whereby have allowed us to become the most prosperous and the most spiritual nation of all time.
01:29:03.680 That's causing literally millions of people to want to come to America because of how Jesus has blessed our country.
01:29:12.440 Are we seeing a revival happening right now?
01:29:16.120 Absolutely.
01:29:16.560 I was, listen, I have been all over this country.
01:29:19.820 I was literally at the AM Fest with my good friend, Charlie Kirker, just got back from there.
01:29:25.040 I have been all over this country praying in Republican context.
01:29:30.780 And every single time, Justin, I was there, I lifted up the name of Jesus.
01:29:37.260 There was not one time that any Republican looked at me and said, you need to say this a particular way.
01:29:43.840 I have always been given the freedom to proclaim Christ and him crucify.
01:29:48.420 And I believe that we are on the precipice and we're living in a revival, that Jesus has used this political moment as a spiritual moment.
01:29:58.480 And we can tell by the data as it pertains to people buying Bibles.
01:30:02.500 I was at, speaking of revivals, I was at Asbury University, I guess it was a little, maybe two years ago almost, in Kentucky there where they had a spontaneous breakout of this revival that took place.
01:30:20.960 And I remember, Tucker was still working at Fox News at the time, very interested in it.
01:30:25.540 He wanted to cover.
01:30:26.740 They told him to say, don't come, because they didn't, I don't think they knew, you know, what he was going to do with it and what it was going to look like.
01:30:35.280 But now knowing how he's had such a transformation and what was going on in his life, I think he was really curious about it and wanted to shine a light on it.
01:30:43.940 It was, I've got to tell you, I've never seen anything like it.
01:30:47.620 And the only way I can describe it is to tell you that it was like the kingdom of heaven had really settled down there on the campus of Asbury University.
01:31:00.140 I had seen things I'd never seen before, people lined up, like they were going to a football game, you know.
01:31:08.900 They were lined up through this little town there and they were trying to get into the auditorium there to have this encounter.
01:31:20.420 And they came from all over.
01:31:22.040 Pastor, I saw somebody, one of the stories that came from, I believe it was like Mexico, bought a plane ticket,
01:31:29.000 came here because they needed healing or something along these lines of family desperately looking for that.
01:31:35.440 People that come from all over the country just to experience it, young people, and they were getting it.
01:31:41.040 Things were happening that were just miraculous.
01:31:44.860 So I see this and I see what's happened in our country.
01:31:48.840 One of the things that I know Glenn's noted, in fact, I've had this conversation multiple times,
01:31:52.920 but to see a win from President Trump, I often said it does, the fix is in.
01:31:57.740 I said the only way this happens is if God intervenes and he gets all the credit.
01:32:02.720 And I think we may have seen that.
01:32:05.340 So my question for you is after we've seen a year of miracles,
01:32:09.540 what do we need to do to continue down that path and to see those things continue to happen?
01:32:19.040 Because, listen, winning this election is one thing and solving the problems and the real issues that we've seen in this country
01:32:25.480 come to the forefront.
01:32:27.340 Boy, there's going to be a lot more than just an election that has to take place.
01:32:30.540 I want to, if you can hang on the line, I want to get your answer to that.
01:32:33.820 Big question.
01:32:34.560 Give you a moment to think about it.
01:32:36.100 And we'll be back with Pastor Lorenzo Sewell, who will join us right after this on the Glenn Beck Program.
01:32:44.360 I don't need to tell you how important a good night's sleep is for your body, your mind, your whole outlook on life.
01:32:49.760 But if you're like most people, sometimes you just can't fall asleep or you wake up during the night.

01:33:39.200 Just go to relieffactor.com or 1-800-4-RELIEF.
01:33:42.340 1-800-4-RELIEF.
01:33:44.460 You know, this scripture has been, you know, this has been a top of mind for a while now, but I think it really came to life in this last year.
01:34:05.960 Pastor Lorenzo Sewell is with us right now from what any church in Detroit, and the scripture I'm talking about, this 2 Chronicles 7.14, and I know you're very familiar with this, but
01:34:16.160 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
01:34:30.520 I think we've seen this, but I still think there's more to come.
01:34:36.180 What's on the horizon and what do we need to do to follow this through, Pastor?
01:34:40.960 Justin, you're filled with discernment at this moment to see that there is more.
01:34:46.680 The Bible clearly says, do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly before your God in Micah 6.8.
01:34:53.820 And the context of that verse is the poor being neglected.
01:34:57.980 And as a black American, what I've seen is that we have 1,000 majority black cities in America.
01:35:04.440 Can you imagine that?
01:35:05.200 In the state of Michigan, we have 14 majority black cities.
01:35:10.960 That represent 57 congressional districts all over this land.
01:35:15.180 The one thing they all share in common is that these cities are literally the worst places to live in in America.
01:35:22.680 Highest crime, highest poverty, highest overdose, highest foreclosures.
01:35:26.800 The reason why Jesus allowed me to be in a position that I can be in now is to be a voice to the voiceless.
01:35:34.240 And this is what I believe the Republican Party needs to do.
01:35:37.140 We need to, number one, start Republican Black Caucus.
01:35:40.960 We need to have a national movement of black conservatives that can go and lead in black cities.
01:35:47.840 Now, someone would say, well, why would we do that?
01:35:50.640 Because of election integrity.
01:35:52.820 In the state of Michigan, we were told that 246,303 people voted in Detroit.
01:36:00.380 We went to go and get our voter list.
01:36:03.020 There are only 195,000 people on the voter list that was given to us in Detroit.
01:36:11.440 We know that 50,000 people are missing.
01:36:14.920 And we know that elections have been stolen in the city of Detroit.
01:36:18.600 We know that.
01:36:19.260 So when President Trump came in 2020 and he said election integrity, we knew as black people, that's what we've been talking about the entire time.
01:36:28.360 But nobody has listened to our voices.
01:36:31.000 No one has been willing to stand up for us.
01:36:33.100 So God has heard our prayers.
01:36:35.240 He's heard our cries.
01:36:36.260 The first thing we need to do is start the Black Republican Caucus, where we will train and equip black conservative leaders to go into black cities and begin to lead specifically as it pertains to election integrity.
01:36:50.760 That's number one.
01:36:51.640 Number two is the righteous regulation of resources.
01:36:57.400 Three R's.
01:36:58.340 Righteous regulation of resources.
01:37:00.500 If we want to see our victory be sustained, if we want to continue this trajectory of momentum, we must have the righteous regulation of resources as it pertains to HUD, as it pertains to the Community Reinvestment Act, which is CRA, which is bank regulations, and as it pertains to SBA.
01:37:22.600 These resources, Justin, have never been regulated righteously in poor black cities.
01:37:29.500 That's the reason why they cheat, so they can steal these resources.
01:37:34.880 But the devil is a liar.
01:37:36.340 We will not allow him to steal from our communities anymore, and that's how we can continue to maintain the momentum that we have.
01:37:42.680 Do you think, when watching over the last year or so, and particularly in places like Detroit and Chicago, do you think that the black community is waking up to this because of what they're watching happening with illegal immigration?
01:37:56.420 Yes.
01:37:56.900 Like where we are, we have 28 Venezuelans in our community.
01:38:00.240 We literally have, in our community right now where I'm standing, I'm in my church, our community where I stand, two blocks from where I am right now, we have entire blocks that literally black people have been moved out of, and Venezuelans are there.
01:38:12.520 As a matter of fact, Justin, it's so bad that before President Trump was elected, people were saying to my community pastor, let us take the church bus for a three-day trip.
01:38:22.400 Leave out of the country, leave out of the country, come back into the country illegally so they can get more money on their bridge car, and they can be able to get a, have no background, have a clean background, have no, have nothing on their background in terms of legalities.
01:38:43.360 So they're saying, so they're saying, so my community is saying, it would be better for us to leave the country and come back in illegally because they feel like illegal immigrants do more than they do.
01:38:52.320 That's incredible.
01:38:55.020 I watch these things.
01:38:56.680 That's a real story.
01:38:57.840 And the injustice, it's, it's just, it hits so hard.
01:39:03.280 This time of year, particularly, we just watched, there's a story out of New York City and this, the subway, I just saw this, this video again, and I got to tell you, don't go looking for it because I think every time we see something like this, it, it, it really, it, it affects us in our soul.
01:39:20.540 And I think in a way that, um, it's horrific to watch, but we have to know that this type of thing is happening.
01:39:25.640 So there's a man here in the country illegally.
01:39:28.440 He sets a woman sleeping on fire in the subway and it's wild to watch as this is happening.
01:39:35.440 This is going on.
01:39:36.500 Police are walking by.
01:39:37.880 People are filming it.
01:39:39.200 Nobody is helping.
01:39:40.220 And then there's another clip where the man who sat on, eventually it was the one who, who, who set her on fire.
01:39:46.520 Then he went and sat on a bench and watched her.
01:39:48.460 He gets up at one point and goes to almost fan the flames on this woman.
01:39:52.480 And she's standing there.
01:39:54.000 I watched this.
01:39:55.600 I see Biden then commute the sentences of, uh, folks who are guilty of killing children and, and just a lot of horrific things that we've seen.
01:40:06.440 Then we see folks who are sitting in, in, uh, obviously in, in jails and gulags right now for January six, uh, offenses.
01:40:14.180 And, and, and yet there's no justice for them.
01:40:16.660 There's, there is no real justice in this country.
01:40:20.500 There's no, there's really no righteousness at this moment.
01:40:24.200 What do we got to do to see that restored?
01:40:27.520 As a people, we need to lift, lift our voice.
01:40:30.040 We know that God listens to the prayers of those who are the least of these, those who are the disenfranchised, marginalized, and quite frankly, pushed aside.
01:40:40.260 God listens to their prayers, but also we need to hold our legislators accountable and we need to hold Congress accountable.
01:40:46.540 And as it pertains to things like election integrity, we need to have a congressional hearing.
01:40:52.000 That's what I've asked Jim Jordan for, Congressman Jim Jordan.
01:40:54.920 And I've also asked our state legislature that we would bring people from our community in front of, uh, Congress and the legislature in order to ask the questions that need to be asked in terms of voter integrity.
01:41:07.640 And I'm also going to ask city council, which also has the power to subpoena, uh, people in our community, specifically our Lieutenant governor who Garland Gilchrist in Michigan, he talked about election integrity in 2017 when he lost the city clerk race.
01:41:25.080 So this is a bipartisan issue.
01:41:26.900 And this is why I think we have some people, if we lift our voice collectively and hold people accountable, we'll see the crooked way made straight in a rough way smooth.
01:41:35.020 Pastor Lorenzo, so where can people follow you, stay up to date and, uh, and make sure that they support you?
01:41:41.420 Well, our church is 180church, 180church.cc, like .churchchurch, 180church.cc.
01:41:49.920 And also I'm on Instagram, Lorenzo Sewell on Instagram.
01:41:53.420 I think you just tagged me on X and we're on Facebook.

01:44:04.180 The Glen Brank program.
01:44:05.820 One thing left to do today, a very special thing to share with you, the real story of
01:44:19.520 Christmas.
01:44:20.920 For a child will be born to us, a son will be given us, and the government will rest upon
01:44:27.680 his shoulders.
01:44:28.500 His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
01:44:37.340 There will be no end to the increase of his government or of peace on the throne of David, and over
01:44:45.140 his kingdom, to establish it and uphold it.
01:44:48.500 God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a village in Galilee, to a virgin named Mary.
01:45:05.660 She was engaged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of King David.
01:45:14.160 Gabriel appeared to her and said,
01:45:16.500 Greetings, favorite one.
01:45:19.560 The Lord is with you.
01:45:21.460 Confused and disturbed, Mary tried to think what it could mean.
01:45:25.620 Don't be frightened, Mary, the angel told her.
01:45:29.340 God has chosen to bless you.
01:45:31.980 You will become pregnant and have a son, and you are to name him Jesus.
01:45:38.300 He will be very great, and be called Son of the Most High.
01:45:46.040 But Mary asked the angel,
01:45:47.640 How can I have a baby?
01:45:49.540 I'm a virgin.
01:45:51.080 And the angel replied,
01:45:52.740 The Holy Spirit will come upon you.
01:45:56.320 The power of the Most High will overshadow you.
01:45:59.280 So the baby born to you will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God.
01:46:09.620 While Mary was still a virgin, she became pregnant by the Holy Spirit.
01:46:14.580 And Joseph, her fiancé, decided to break the engagement quietly,
01:46:18.540 so as not to disgrace her publicly.
01:46:21.300 As he considered this, he fell asleep.
01:46:24.480 And the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream.
01:46:27.580 Joseph, son of David, the angel said.
01:46:32.260 Don't be afraid to go ahead with your marriage to Mary.
01:46:36.680 For the child in her has been conceived by the Holy Spirit.
01:46:41.080 She'll have a son, and you are to name him Jesus.
01:46:45.920 For he will save his people from their sin.
01:46:48.700 All of this happened to fulfill the Lord's message through his prophet.
01:46:53.580 Behold, the virgin will conceive a child.
01:46:56.660 She'll give birth to a son, and he will be called Emmanuel, meaning God, with us.
01:47:06.540 This prophecy from Isaiah 714 was given 700 years before Jesus was born.
01:47:14.220 When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel the Lord commanded him.
01:47:20.460 He brought Mary home to be his wife, but she remained a virgin until her son was born.
01:47:27.040 At that time, the Roman emperor Augustus decreed that a census should be taken throughout all the Roman Empire.
01:47:33.600 All returned home to their hometowns to register for the census.
01:47:39.060 Because Joseph was a descendant of King David, he had to go to Bethlehem in Judea, David's ancient home.
01:47:47.380 He traveled from the village of Nazareth in Galilee and took with him Mary, his wife, who was great with child.
01:47:54.340 And while they were there, they came time for the baby to be born.
01:48:00.300 She gave birth to her first child, a son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes and lied him in the manger.
01:48:09.520 That night, there were shepherds in the field outside the village, guarding their flocks of sheep.
01:48:16.820 And suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the Lord's glory surrounded them.
01:48:24.120 They were terribly frightened, but the angel reassured them,
01:48:28.760 Do not be afraid, he said.
01:48:30.900 I bring you good news of great joy for everyone.
01:48:34.380 A savior, yea, the Messiah, the Lord, has been born tonight in the city of David.
01:48:42.220 And this is how you'll recognize him.
01:48:45.680 You'll find him, a baby in a manger, wrapped in swaddling clothes.
01:48:51.240 Suddenly, the angel is joined by the vast host of heaven.
01:48:54.920 The army is praising God and saying,
01:48:57.540 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth, peace, goodwill toward men.
01:49:04.380 The angels left, and the shepherds said to each other,
01:49:10.100 Come, let us go to Bethlehem and see this wonderful thing that has happened, that the Lord has told us about.
01:49:16.180 So they ran to the village and found Mary and Joseph.
01:49:19.420 And there was the baby, lying in the manger.
01:49:24.020 The shepherds told everyone what had happened, and what the angel had said about the child.
01:49:28.740 All who heard this story were astonished.
01:49:32.500 The shepherds went back to the fields and flocks, glorifying and praising the Lord.
01:49:40.080 Jesus was born in the town of Bethlehem, in Judea, during the reign of King Herod.
01:49:45.920 And at the same time came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, asking,
01:49:50.180 Where is the newborn king of the Jews?
01:49:53.020 We've seen a star that arose and have come to worship him.
01:49:57.600 Herod was deeply disturbed by their question, as was all of Jerusalem.
01:50:02.440 He called a meeting of the leading priests and teachers of religious law.
01:50:06.840 Where do the prophets say the Messiah will be born?
01:50:09.520 He asked.
01:50:10.120 In Bethlehem, they said.
01:50:12.480 For this is what a prophet wrote.
01:50:14.440 O Bethlehem of Judea, you're not just a lowly village of Judah, for a ruler will come to you who will be shepherded for my people, Israel.
01:50:23.920 This prophecy, found in Micah 5, in verse 2, and 2 Samuel 5, in verse 2, were both written 700 years before Jesus Christ was ever born.
01:50:34.120 So Herod sent a message to the wise men, asking them to come see him.
01:50:41.200 At this time of the meeting, he learned the exact time when they first saw the star.
01:50:46.460 And he told them to go to Bethlehem, search diligently for the child.
01:50:50.220 And when you find him, come tell me that I may worship him too.
01:50:55.320 After this meeting, the wise men went on their way.
01:50:58.540 And once again, the star appeared to guide them to Bethlehem.
01:51:02.400 It went ahead of them, and stopped over the place where the child was.
01:51:08.460 When they saw the star, they were filled with joy.
01:51:11.240 They entered the house where the child and his mother were, and they fell down and worshipped him.
01:51:18.880 They opened their treasure chest and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
01:51:23.500 But when it came time to leave, they went another way, because God had warned them in a dream not to return to Herod.
01:51:33.780 After the wise men were gone, the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream.
01:51:38.280 Get up!
01:51:39.460 Flee to Egypt with the child and his mother, the angel said.
01:51:42.900 Stay there until I tell you to return, because Herod will try to kill the child.
01:51:47.280 That very night, Joseph left for Egypt with the child and marry his mother.
01:51:55.460 They stayed there until Herod's death.
01:51:58.580 This fulfilled what the Lord had spoken to the prophet.
01:52:01.780 Out of Egypt I have called my son.
01:52:03.860 Herod was furious.
01:52:07.280 When he learned that the wise men had outwitted him, he sent soldiers to kill all the baby boys in and around Bethlehem who were two years old and under,
01:52:15.900 because the wise men had told him that the star had first appeared to them about two years before.
01:52:23.140 Then later, when Herod died, God's angel appeared in a dream of Joseph in Egypt.
01:52:29.600 Get up!
01:52:30.220 Take the child and his mother and return to Israel.
01:52:32.920 All those who wish to murder the child are dead.
01:52:38.560 So Joseph obeyed.
01:52:40.160 He arose and took the child and his mother and reentered Israel.
01:52:45.200 When he heard, though, that Herod's son had taken over as king in Judea, he was afraid to go there.
01:52:52.520 But then Joseph was directed in a dream to go to the hills of Galilee.
01:52:57.220 On arriving, he settled in the village of Nazareth.
01:53:00.500 Thus fulfilling the words of the prophet.
01:53:04.140 For he should be called a Nazarene.
01:53:08.640 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
01:53:22.460 And this is the story.
01:53:26.680 The story of Christmas.

01:55:14.620 Hope.
01:55:28.860 Can you feel it?
01:55:30.580 Because it is in the air.
01:55:34.960 If you can't yet, maybe you're just not close enough to the source of it yet.
01:55:43.320 Like a candle.
01:55:44.620 Burning off in the distance.
01:55:49.020 That flame is still bright up close.
01:55:55.320 The fire, you can still feel it right up close.
01:55:58.760 But maybe, as you can sense it, you can see it twinkling off in the dark.
01:56:07.560 Maybe, maybe if you just move closer, you can really, really experience it.
01:56:20.640 We have been moving closer and closer over the last year.
01:56:26.140 I got to tell you, I have experienced so many things in my own life.
01:56:29.960 But also watching the miracles that are happening all around us on a daily basis in this country.
01:56:37.720 And what's coming, what's possible, not just here, but all around the world.
01:56:50.220 It's opportunity.
01:56:56.220 It's opportunity.
01:56:58.860 It's possibility.
01:57:00.040 It's literally the difference between day and night, dark and light.
01:57:09.800 And we stood at the crossroads in this country.
01:57:14.520 We stood and we contemplated.
01:57:18.520 We looked at both roads.
01:57:21.680 And one led to death and destruction and the loss of what's been so profoundly American.
01:57:37.960 What's been so good in our lives, our way of life, and our families.
01:57:49.060 Life itself, that existential threat that the left often talks about and accuses the right of, being so, so much.
01:57:59.640 It really, I believe we were there.
01:58:03.580 We were on the precipice.
01:58:05.340 Somehow, we pulled ourselves back from the edge.
01:58:13.340 We weren't alone.
01:58:18.640 We were divinely impacted.
01:58:27.340 You could feel, on July 13th, in that moment, that miracle that saved this nation and certainly saved President Trump.
01:58:38.140 But you could feel the hand of God, not just on him, but I believe on our nation.
01:58:47.700 Because what we survived that day, what we avoided, something that I don't even want to think about, contemplate.
01:58:57.020 But, the hope is the opportunity.
01:59:07.420 That means that there still remains work to be done.
01:59:13.420 Much of it over the next year or two, and much of it's going to happen in the first 90 days of his presidency.
01:59:20.480 On my radio show daily, I tell people, no matter what the headlines say, each and every day, I remind them that no matter what, the God is still on the throne.
01:59:41.140 That's the good news.
01:59:44.560 I don't know what's coming in this year ahead.
01:59:50.680 But what I do know is it's never been more true.
01:59:55.180 No matter what we face, God is still on the throne.
01:59:59.480 It's been an honor to be here with you, filling in for Glenn on Christmas Eve.
02:00:13.520 Each and every time I get to, it's one of the things that I am the most grateful for.
02:00:19.620 This audience is like no other.
02:00:26.100 It's an opportunity that I will never take for granted.
02:00:29.480 And it's one that I hope I can give you a chance to reflect and maybe think about those wonderful things that are on the way in the new year and beyond.
