00:00:51.200 Stand by.
00:00:52.220 Adios.
00:00:59.500 What you are about to hear is the fusion of entertainment
00:01:25.700 and enlightenment.
00:01:29.240 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:01:33.540 In order for things to change, we all have to know what the truth is
00:01:40.060 and then declare the truth.
00:01:42.160 That's exactly what we're going to do.
00:01:44.420 This half hour, we're going to tell you what the news is saying,
00:01:48.240 what the president is saying, and then we're going to tell you the truth.
00:01:51.420 Your job will be to take that truth and stand in it.
00:01:55.240 Just make sure that everyone you know and everyone you're talking to today
00:01:59.600 knows exactly what the truth is.
00:02:02.040 Because there's a meteor coming towards Earth.
00:02:05.940 Not true.
00:02:07.500 And it's going to destroy America if Mitch McConnell doesn't get his act together.
00:02:14.080 Again, not true.
00:02:16.180 We'll tell you in 60 seconds.
00:02:18.260 I don't know if you heard about the Facebook thing that happened yesterday,
00:02:28.040 but Facebook and Instagram and everything else went out for,
00:02:32.900 what was it, like six or eight hours?
00:02:35.260 It was, I mean, it was enough to cause people to go,
00:02:37.800 oh my gosh, I can't believe they're back on again.
00:02:40.740 That's so great.
00:02:42.280 Didn't affect my life at all.
00:02:43.540 Didn't even notice they were down.
00:02:45.080 How about you, Stu?
00:02:46.120 Not really, no.
00:02:46.980 Not really.
00:02:48.340 If you didn't notice, good for you.
00:02:51.220 Good for you.
00:02:52.160 If you were jonesing yesterday, bad for you.
00:02:55.820 And if you said, yeah, geez, that was really great.
00:02:59.180 You know, I'm glad that went down for a while.
00:03:01.240 It's nice to do other things.
00:03:02.580 You have a problem.
00:03:04.620 That's a problem.
00:03:05.960 You can make that your reality every day.
00:03:09.820 That's weird.
00:03:10.220 You are not legally required to be on social media.
00:03:13.860 It's amazing.
00:03:14.700 Yet.
00:03:15.160 Yet.
00:03:15.760 All right.
00:03:16.400 So Facebook, there was also a hacking that happened coincidentally at the same time.
00:03:20.460 Yeah.
00:03:20.600 Something like 1.5 billion Facebook records appearing on the dark web for sale.
00:03:25.620 They say it was not connected.
00:03:27.000 Not connected.
00:03:27.460 Interesting coincidence.
00:03:28.040 1.5 billion records.
00:03:31.140 You think you might be in those 1.5 billion people?
00:03:35.300 No.
00:03:35.480 Probably not.
00:03:36.320 Probably not.
00:03:36.940 Probably mostly people in Madagascar.
00:03:38.640 Yeah.
00:03:38.960 You might really, because that's who they're really after.
00:03:41.680 That's who they're after.
00:03:42.480 They're after the people in Africa, because they have so much money.
00:03:45.760 All of those princes.
00:03:49.680 There are a lot of princes.
00:03:51.420 There are.
00:03:51.660 A lot of billions of dollars.
00:03:52.820 I want you to go and find out if your identity has been stolen on the dark web.
00:03:59.400 Join LifeLock.
00:03:59.760 LifeLock.
00:04:00.620 Nobody can prevent all identity theft or monitor all transactions.
00:04:03.600 But I can guarantee you they are hard at work looking for those people who are now subscribers to LifeBlock to see if they were part of that 1.5 billion.
00:04:15.540 And they have a dedicated team to help clean things up, in case your name is in that.
00:04:21.300 LifeLock by Norton.
00:04:22.760 Call them right now.
00:04:24.260 LifeLock.com.
00:04:25.340 Use the promo code BECK or 1-800-LIFELOCK.
00:04:28.780 1-800-LIFELOCK is their phone number.
00:04:32.080 Or LifeLock.com.
00:04:34.020 Promo code BECK.
00:04:34.840 Save 25%.
00:04:36.080 All right.
00:04:38.760 So I would like to just dismiss a few things right off the bat.
00:04:43.140 But let's go to cut five, please.
00:04:47.560 Biden on the debt ceiling.
00:04:49.140 We're not expecting Republicans to do their part.
00:04:51.320 They made it clear from the beginning.
00:04:53.300 We tried asking to no avail.
00:04:56.420 We're just asking them not to use procedural tricks to block us from doing the job that they won't do.
00:05:04.240 Meteor is headed to crash into our economy.
00:05:08.420 Democrats are willing to do all the work stopping it.
00:05:11.200 Republicans just have to let us do our job.
00:05:15.120 Just get out of the way.
00:05:16.200 Get out of the way.
00:05:17.140 If you don't want to help save the country, get out of the way.
00:05:20.020 Get out of the way.
00:05:20.780 So you don't destroy it.
00:05:22.140 Right.
00:05:22.700 Okay.
00:05:23.600 So what's he talking about there, Stu?
00:05:25.520 What does he mean by that?
00:05:27.260 Well, normally a bill like this would need 60 votes to pass.
00:05:30.620 And they're saying, what if we just have it?
00:05:33.300 If you guys just will agree to the Republicans, the Republicans will just agree.
00:05:37.860 They can make it pass with only 50 votes and they're expecting them to do that.
00:05:42.340 Now, of course, they've never done that for Republicans.
00:05:45.140 That's not the way they go about it.
00:05:46.920 But and they've even Joe Biden himself voted in this exact same scenario to block the debt ceiling rise when he was in the minority.
00:05:54.780 That's what happens, you know, every single time.
00:05:57.440 Now, interestingly, they actually could pass it with 50 votes.
00:06:01.440 How?
00:06:01.940 Through reconciliation.
00:06:03.500 How?
00:06:03.860 However, they they're not ready to spend their three point five trillion dollars yet.
00:06:08.200 Well, it's not that they're not ready.
00:06:09.820 They're ready and eager and waiting to go.
00:06:12.500 It's just that they just have a couple of people that just won't vote for it.
00:06:15.740 Yeah.
00:06:16.340 And on their side.
00:06:17.480 And all the bathroom harassment on Earth has not yet changed their mind.
00:06:21.860 It's not put Humpty Dumpty.
00:06:23.020 Can't put a Humpty Dumpty back together again.
00:06:25.280 So it's interesting.
00:06:25.940 They could just do this, but they're not doing it because they want to have a separate opportunity to spend three point five trillion of your dollars.
00:06:34.480 Ah, so they don't give that up.
00:06:37.040 And it's like, wait a minute.
00:06:38.080 I thought you guys said this was a meteor.
00:06:39.540 This is a catastrophe.
00:06:40.840 The entire society is going to melt down and you won't give you won't solve that problem because you want to keep your ability to spend three point five trillion dollars on brand new programs and giveaways.
00:06:53.780 Huh?
00:06:54.260 Huh?
00:06:55.140 That's weird.
00:06:55.640 But it doesn't sound exactly like a meteor.
00:06:59.140 No, it doesn't.
00:06:59.920 Yeah.
00:07:00.140 It doesn't sound like how you would react if you believed it was a meteor.
00:07:02.980 Right.
00:07:03.400 Because if if you could do it, but you didn't get candy.
00:07:08.020 Uh, and so you're not going to do it.
00:07:12.060 It seems like you're putting your priority in candy and not in the thing that is the giant meteor.
00:07:20.360 Right.
00:07:21.180 Huh?
00:07:21.880 That's weird.
00:07:22.880 That's weird.
00:07:23.720 Yeah.
00:07:23.940 Okay.
00:07:24.660 So this is not true.
00:07:26.740 The, the Republicans are, I mean, the Democrats can pass it.
00:07:30.960 The Democrats can pass it, but then they'll have a harder time passing their three point four trillion dollar spending bill.
00:07:38.120 And Republicans know that.
00:07:40.000 And I think many Americans are against that spending bill.
00:07:44.080 Uh, and that's why they're working so hard on Joe Manchin and, uh, cinema, Senator cinema from, uh, uh, Arizona, because they have to have those two.
00:07:54.640 Without those two, you have to, you have to count on the Republicans saying, we'll vote for the, the, the ceiling.
00:08:04.300 Now, of course, the ceiling and cinema and mansion, not exactly the thriftiest of people here.
00:08:12.000 They've already both voted for the one trillion dollar, uh, infrastructure plan.
00:08:17.020 And mansion is the only one we know his number.
00:08:19.880 His number was 1.5 trillion.
00:08:22.520 Now that would put it at like fifth or sixth biggest spending bill in the history of the nation.
00:08:29.600 I think it's even higher than that.
00:08:30.800 Honestly, I think it was fourth, third or fourth.
00:08:32.820 Uh, so he's willing to go there plus the other trillion he's already agreed with.
00:08:37.700 Um, and in his letter about the 1.5 trillion dollars, he says, I will not guarantee a vote for anything above this.
00:08:47.620 So he's willing to go above it.
00:08:49.720 He just will not guarantee his vote.
00:08:51.460 He will guarantee his vote for any package under 1.5 trillion dollars.
00:08:58.620 And we're like, this guy's a moderate.
00:09:01.080 Can you believe this guy?
00:09:03.360 I can't believe how moderate he is.
00:09:06.400 Well, I have, I have noticed how the media just loves these mavericks who are going against the Democratic Party and their own party.
00:09:15.680 They're mavericks.
00:09:16.640 I mean, how many times have you heard the senator from Arizona is a maverick and just is going against his own party?
00:09:26.380 Yeah, I do remember hearing that quite a bit back in the day.
00:09:28.900 Oh, wait a minute.
00:09:29.700 You were talking about John McCain being a maverick.
00:09:32.240 That was okay.
00:09:32.740 It was something to praise.
00:09:33.600 Oh, you mean you didn't hear that about cinema?
00:09:35.780 No.
00:09:36.300 Oh, no.
00:09:37.280 Not a maverick now.
00:09:38.940 Not a, not a maverick, my friends.
00:09:41.140 Uh, and then, uh, and, uh, and then yesterday they, um, we found out that they were being followed into the bathroom, uh, out on their houseboat.
00:09:52.140 Uh, this is going to become very, very dangerous.
00:09:55.360 I warn you.
00:09:57.180 It's shout, shove, shoot.
00:10:01.960 They've been shouting.
00:10:03.180 Now they're shoving.
00:10:04.420 The only thing left is shooting.
00:10:07.360 And it's going to become more and more dangerous.
00:10:10.140 Here's what happened yesterday on the airplane with Senator Sinema.
00:10:16.700 Senator, hello.
00:10:18.580 How are you?
00:10:20.540 You good?
00:10:21.620 Sorry, I'm just, I'm Teddy now.
00:10:23.480 I don't know if you remember me.
00:10:24.980 I just want to know if, um, if you can commit, as my senator, if you can commit to passing a reconciliation
00:10:33.620 that could provide a pathway to citizenship for immigrants.
00:10:39.940 You have been waiting for this for too long.
00:10:42.260 I just want to know if you can commit to passing a budget reconciliation that would include immigration and citizenship for people to be protected.
00:10:51.440 Will you commit to me on the airplane right now?
00:10:56.440 Can you commit to that, Senator?
00:10:59.160 Okay.
00:10:59.940 So, she didn't commit.
00:11:01.360 She didn't after that?
00:11:02.520 No, she didn't.
00:11:03.400 She didn't.
00:11:03.880 She didn't.
00:11:04.500 Here she is in the airport.
00:11:11.180 Somebody else.
00:11:14.340 And she's pushing her fingers into her ear.
00:11:23.240 Okay.
00:11:24.140 So, uh.
00:11:24.500 Where's her security?
00:11:25.400 Where's her security?
00:11:26.780 What are you talking about, where's her security?
00:11:28.300 I've seen several of these videos, and she's, a lot of times people, I mean, this time there was people in the airport, obviously.
00:11:33.240 Security, this is normal, Stu.
00:11:35.640 What is it?
00:11:36.140 Here's the president, uh, yesterday, uh, on, uh, this just being, you know, normal.
00:11:43.020 Part of the thing.
00:11:43.780 Cut nine.
00:11:44.700 Joe Manchin had people on kayaks show up to his boat.
00:11:48.440 T.L.
00:11:48.780 Adam.
00:11:49.240 Senator Sinema last night was chased into a restroom.
00:11:52.020 Do you think that those tactics are crossing a line?
00:11:56.140 I don't think they're appropriate tactics, but it happens to everybody.
00:11:59.380 What?
00:12:00.100 The only people it doesn't happen to are people who have secret service standing around them.
00:12:05.340 Mm.
00:12:05.520 Um, so, uh, it's, it's, it's part of the process, yes, sir.
00:12:09.380 Part of the process?
00:12:10.320 Part of the process?
00:12:11.120 To have women followed into the bathroom?
00:12:12.820 Yeah.
00:12:13.320 I didn't know that.
00:12:13.880 By men?
00:12:14.260 I didn't know that.
00:12:15.180 Now, I will say, they are being consistent that men in the women's bathroom is okay.
00:12:18.800 Exactly right.
00:12:19.180 They've been clear on that point.
00:12:20.820 To their credit.
00:12:21.700 And our point is kind of, uh, validated, because we say men going into the women's bathroom is dangerous.
00:12:27.420 Uh, but, you know, let's not protect women.
00:12:30.480 Anyway, uh, so they're going into the bathroom, uh, and that happens all the time.
00:12:34.060 That's part of the process.
00:12:36.880 Hmm.
00:12:39.040 Hmm.
00:12:39.780 It's incredible.
00:12:40.500 It's incredible.
00:12:41.880 And, uh, you know, look, I, there's two types of people in these situations, right?
00:12:45.900 The type of person who's going to get intimidated and will give in because they don't want to have their life ruined and be harassed all the time.
00:12:52.960 And then there's certain people who it will codify their belief.
00:12:58.160 You know, it will, it will take a belief and say, you know what?
00:13:02.420 Now I will never vote for this $3.5 trillion.
00:13:08.080 And I, I will tell you this.
00:13:10.640 If there's anything you can do today, if you're going to get on the internet and you want to get on one of these social media platforms, drop a word of encouragement.
00:13:18.320 Very polite encouragement, not only to Kirsten Sinema and Joe Manchin, but also to AOC and let her know that she should not give in to these moderates who want to take away your spending bill.
00:13:31.620 I am so proud of you, AOC.
00:13:34.260 Yeah.
00:13:34.420 You go, girl.
00:13:35.760 You go do it, baby.
00:13:37.560 And, and, uh, make sure that you, uh, let Kirsten Sinema know that, uh, you, you appreciate her backbone here.
00:13:45.360 In reality, I am impressed.
00:13:47.060 I will say I was, I was a cinema skeptic.
00:13:49.220 We went through her stuff early on and there was, there was word, maybe she's going to be moderate.
00:13:53.220 And I remember reading some of her background and things, the groups she was involved in.
00:13:57.080 Yeah.
00:13:57.740 And, uh, and she's held up in an incredible fashion here.
00:14:01.820 So, you know, who's harassing her is, uh, the, uh, living United for Change in Arizona.
00:14:08.460 And so we looked into it and you'll never guess who's involved in.
00:14:15.800 Now at the end, do they understand?
00:14:19.840 Yeah.
00:14:20.600 Spooky dude himself.
00:14:22.820 Um, he has, um, he has backed the group.
00:14:27.180 Meaning George Soros?
00:14:28.160 George Soros Open Society Foundation.
00:14:30.660 Shocking.
00:14:31.040 Is their biggest donor.
00:14:32.620 He gave $1.5 million to, uh, Living United in 2019 and $250,000 in 2017.
00:14:40.860 Uh, this according to their grants, uh, database.
00:14:44.240 So Living United reported around $1.7 million in revenue in 2019 and $328,000 in 2017.
00:14:55.080 Wow.
00:14:55.400 These guys, man, I just don't know.
00:14:58.100 They just make so much money, don't they?
00:15:00.060 I mean, all of these groups, uh, just rolling in the cash.
00:15:04.580 Hmm.
00:15:05.600 It's interesting how the road always leads back to this guy.
00:15:09.280 It's almost as if it's all been foreseen.
00:15:15.540 Uh, more in just a second.
00:15:17.460 Stand by.
00:15:18.760 Relief Factor.
00:15:19.920 Derek writes in about his experience with Relief Factor.
00:15:22.680 He said,
00:15:22.920 I'm a wildland firefighter.
00:15:24.960 Jeez.
00:15:25.520 My physical activity leads to stiff and achy joints.
00:15:28.360 I bet.
00:15:29.180 Especially during low activity periods immediately post-firefighting season.
00:15:33.440 When I'm trying to recuperate, it's sometimes hard to be motivated to go out to work at all,
00:15:38.460 especially at 46.
00:15:40.500 Uh, yeah.
00:15:41.620 Yeah.
00:15:42.020 46 and you're in lots of pain.
00:15:44.480 Good luck with that.
00:15:46.340 I've been hearing about Relief Factor on the Glenn Beck program for years.
00:15:49.240 Decided I'd finally give it a try.
00:15:50.960 To be honest, I expected to get the three-week trial and cancel it once I found it didn't work
00:15:55.040 for me.
00:15:56.080 To my surprise, I started feeling better within a few days.
00:15:59.540 I feel absolutely great now.
00:16:01.960 I feel like I'm 25 again.
00:16:04.200 Two weeks ago, I was wondering how many seasons on the fire line I have left in me.
00:16:08.880 Now I'm nowhere close to being done.
00:16:11.600 Isn't that great?
00:16:12.520 That's what you want to hear.
00:16:14.160 Relief Factor.
00:16:15.300 Try it.
00:16:16.520 Yeah, you might cancel it in three weeks when it doesn't work, but you also might find yourself
00:16:20.520 being like Derek.
00:16:21.920 Get your life back at ReliefFactor.com.
00:16:24.220 That's ReliefFactor.com.
00:16:25.680 800-500-8384.
00:16:27.860 800-500-8384.
00:16:31.700 It's ReliefFactor.com.
00:16:34.520 10 seconds.
00:16:35.240 Station ID.
00:16:42.780 Wow, this is...
00:16:44.540 Huh.
00:16:46.800 Okay, so Living United organizes voter drives and assists campaigns for Democratic
00:16:54.000 candidates.
00:16:55.200 The ones that were said, you know, we went out and we canvassed for you in past elections.
00:17:01.380 We'd do it against you.
00:17:04.100 There are grassroots community organizers.
00:17:06.600 And funded by several deep pockets on the left, including Open Society, which is George Soros.
00:17:15.380 Bold Pack, the fundraising arm of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, gave $12,500 to Living United
00:17:24.140 in August.
00:17:24.980 The committee includes more than three dozen of Sinema's Democratic colleagues in the Senate
00:17:32.360 and the House.
00:17:34.120 Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, pro-immigration charity, Forward.us, gave $7,500 to Living United
00:17:42.460 last year.
00:17:43.380 The Ford Foundation, gave the organization $500,000 grant.
00:17:48.520 And the National Education Association, the largest teachers union in the country, gave
00:17:54.880 $60,000 to Living United.
00:17:57.160 So, when your teacher says, no, I'm not part of it.
00:18:00.780 Are you part of the union?
00:18:03.160 Are you with the National Education Association because you're funding the people that are following
00:18:08.140 that person into the bathroom?
00:18:10.580 And, I'm sorry, it's time to stand up.
00:18:14.540 I'm in a union.
00:18:15.720 What am I going to do about it?
00:18:16.760 Get out of the union.
00:18:18.000 Quit.
00:18:19.020 Quit.
00:18:19.740 I've got to feed my...
00:18:20.860 Yep, you do.
00:18:21.840 We all do.
00:18:22.400 You're not going to be able to feed your family if these people are in charge.
00:18:27.200 And if you think that it's going to be a dream come true to be a teacher, and you're
00:18:32.280 going to be able to follow your dreams and your spirit, and you're just going to be able
00:18:36.520 to teach the things that you feel are important, you're going to be teaching dangerous stuff
00:18:41.500 quickly.
00:18:42.720 You already are.
00:18:44.220 You already are.
00:18:45.840 And you see, already now, what it's like to stand up against it.
00:18:50.260 You have to quit your union now.
00:18:54.180 Quit.
00:18:55.160 Quit.
00:18:57.260 You cannot live in this pack of lies.
00:19:02.540 You don't think there's value in trying to change it from the inside?
00:19:07.080 No.
00:19:07.860 I don't think you have enough time to change it from the inside.
00:19:10.400 You need a mass movement of people quitting and saying, I'm not going to do this.
00:19:16.040 You have the right now, we're going to talk to some people in our three.
00:19:21.680 We're talking to some people that are under attack from the teachers union.
00:19:25.560 The teachers unions also just went to the FBI and said, you've got to help us.
00:19:29.960 These these crazy parents that are coming out against CRT.
00:19:33.760 That's very threatening.
00:19:35.560 And Joe Biden approved it.
00:19:37.180 And Merrick Garland from the FBI decided, yep, we're going to bring the federal government
00:19:44.780 into this.
00:19:47.740 Really?
00:19:48.720 The feds are going to?
00:19:50.500 Why?
00:19:50.900 Why aren't the states investigating this?
00:19:53.560 If there are things going on, the state and local police should be dealing with it.
00:19:58.880 Why are the feds all of a sudden jumping into this?
00:20:02.480 So now parents are being told, basically, by this move, you want to mess with us?
00:20:09.860 You want to mess with the teachers union?
00:20:11.440 You're messing with the feds.
00:20:13.500 That's what's happening now.
00:20:15.600 Now, I understand if somebody is threatening somebody, I'm going to kill you.
00:20:19.360 I'm going to whatever.
00:20:20.260 That's that is the job of the police to stop it.
00:20:25.120 And those people have to be stopped.
00:20:27.200 But if you're talking about how threatened you feel when you're sitting in a when you're
00:20:35.020 sitting in a in a an open setting and people are yelling at you, grow a thicker skin, dude.
00:20:45.280 Because that is part of the process.
00:20:47.660 If somebody is coming to your house or dare I say it, following you into the bathroom and
00:20:54.080 filming you while you're in the bathroom, that's not part of the process.
00:20:58.460 Harassing you and your family when you're out, that's not part of the process.
00:21:03.220 But having to listen to families and parents yell at you in an open forum.
00:21:10.580 Yeah, that's part of the process.
00:21:12.680 Part of the process.
00:21:13.980 And they want you to know.
00:21:16.980 You can't change anything.
00:21:19.160 They want you to know you have no power.
00:21:24.060 This machine has been built and you have no power.
00:21:27.000 I want you to listen to me carefully.
00:21:29.260 It's a lie.
00:21:31.120 And if you don't stand up now, it may not be a lie.
00:21:36.120 But you must stand up peacefully arm in arm with other parents.
00:21:41.380 Continue to speak out.
00:21:43.520 Continue to be peaceful.
00:21:44.920 People, the American people, when they see it, see, here's the problem.
00:21:50.160 They have kept all of the pain away from the American people through all of these schemes
00:21:56.440 with the banks and everything else.
00:21:58.180 They've kept all of the pain away.
00:22:01.060 You're just beginning to feel the pain and the pain is going to get pretty intense soon.
00:22:06.580 And when that pain does, if we're not all standing arm in arm and we haven't pushed back,
00:22:13.900 there isn't going to be any place to push back.
00:22:17.200 That's why this is accelerating so fast, because the pain for the average person is coming.
00:22:25.080 Stand in the truth.
00:22:27.820 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:22:39.400 American Financing NMLS 182334 www.nmlsconsumeraccess.org
00:22:45.940 So the Federal Reserve has decided to hold benchmark interest rates near zero,
00:22:50.960 but they indicated that rate hikes will be coming as soon as next year.
00:22:55.120 And of course, that's no surprise.
00:22:57.000 We've been talking about it for a while, but it's a surprise to them
00:22:59.640 because they said they weren't going to do it until 2023.
00:23:02.840 Hmm.
00:23:03.660 I guess inflation is worse than they thought.
00:23:06.580 We're fortunate for the time being because borrowing costs are still nearly at historic lows,
00:23:12.480 but this is your chance and soon your last chance.
00:23:16.640 Already, the banks are starting to move interest rates up in anticipation.
00:23:20.560 Please, do what you can to take advantage of the opportunity to better your financial life right now.
00:23:28.560 Debt consolidation or lower mortgage rates.
00:23:31.560 If you're assessing your home equity and making it work for you,
00:23:35.660 you're late in the game for lowering your interest rates on any loan,
00:23:39.260 but this is your wake-up call.
00:23:41.360 Do not miss out.
00:23:43.540 Rates are going to go up.
00:23:44.740 Call American Financing, 800-906-2440.
00:23:49.960 Americanfinancing.net.
00:23:51.320 Call them now.
00:23:53.180 Inflation's obviously on the way.
00:23:54.400 The dollar's not going to be worth anything,
00:23:55.660 so why not lock in the rates now at blazetv.com slash Glenn?
00:23:59.620 Right.
00:24:00.220 Promo code is Glenn.
00:24:06.140 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:24:09.560 I have to play for you in case you haven't seen it,
00:24:14.640 and I can guarantee you haven't seen it.
00:24:18.220 The Taiwanese foreign minister says his country is preparing for war
00:24:23.920 and is asking Australia for help,
00:24:26.580 and I want you to listen to this.
00:24:29.260 He is full-fledged freaking out here.
00:24:33.780 Listen.
00:24:34.500 Defense of Taiwan is in our own hands,
00:24:37.940 and we are absolutely committed to that.
00:24:40.680 And if China is going to launch a war against Taiwan,
00:24:43.220 we will fight to the end,
00:24:45.820 and that is our commitment.
00:24:47.480 And of course, during this period of time,
00:24:49.300 we would like to exchange with other countries
00:24:51.400 for security cooperation,
00:24:52.840 and we would like to engage in security
00:24:56.040 or intelligence exchanges with other like-minded partners,
00:25:00.580 Australia included,
00:25:01.920 so that Taiwan is better prepared to deal with the war situation.
00:25:04.840 And so far, our relations with Australia is very good,
00:25:09.120 and that is what we appreciate it for.
00:25:11.980 Okay.
00:25:12.820 Help us.
00:25:14.160 Help us.
00:25:14.920 They're coming.
00:25:15.920 And notice he doesn't use the United States.
00:25:19.280 United States.
00:25:19.780 Yeah.
00:25:19.940 Is there a chance the United States...
00:25:21.780 I mean, we have a tree.
00:25:22.680 We're bound to it.
00:25:23.960 Nope.
00:25:24.400 Not a chance.
00:25:25.360 I don't think there's a single chance.
00:25:26.600 Not a chance.
00:25:27.300 That's why he didn't say anything about it.
00:25:28.760 Correct.
00:25:28.960 He knows there's no chance.
00:25:30.300 Correct.
00:25:30.620 Lost cause.
00:25:31.220 We won't even rescue our own people out of Kabul.
00:25:35.340 We're certainly not going to help Taiwan.
00:25:37.880 What are they freaking out about, though?
00:25:39.460 Just cause 77 warplanes from China fly over their island?
00:25:43.020 Is that what they're worried about?
00:25:44.120 No, it was 150.
00:25:45.720 Oh, it was 150?
00:25:46.380 It's 150 warplanes have now crossed into Taiwan
00:25:50.540 and have flown over Taiwan.
00:25:52.460 And that has unnerved them a little bit?
00:25:54.060 Yeah, 56 just today.
00:25:55.900 Just 56, though, warplanes.
00:25:57.920 A new record, because it was 38, and then it was 39, and then 56.
00:26:02.920 And 25 fighter jets and nuclear-capable bombers
00:26:06.480 into their air defense identification zone.
00:26:10.060 And you would think, okay, so you're trying at that point
00:26:13.340 to provoke something.
00:26:15.180 Yes.
00:26:15.760 You're definitely trying to be shot at.
00:26:18.600 Yes.
00:26:19.020 So that you can respond.
00:26:20.360 Yes.
00:26:21.360 It's getting pretty dangerous.
00:26:22.720 Yes.
00:26:23.520 It feels like China has hit some weird level of desperation.
00:26:27.300 It does.
00:26:28.060 And anger.
00:26:29.400 I mean, they've always been terrible,
00:26:30.740 but they haven't crossed these lines.
00:26:32.720 But you think recently, with the collapse of that...
00:26:36.380 Evergrande.
00:26:37.000 Evergrande.
00:26:38.200 They cut off all cryptocurrency transactions
00:26:41.060 in the entire country.
00:26:42.280 Oh, no, no.
00:26:42.940 You know why they did that?
00:26:43.580 Massive energy problems.
00:26:44.680 Yeah.
00:26:44.820 Massive energy problems.
00:26:45.440 Oh, no, no, no.
00:26:46.640 No.
00:26:47.080 No?
00:26:47.360 No?
00:26:47.560 No.
00:26:47.980 No?
00:26:48.340 Really?
00:26:48.840 No.
00:26:49.300 You haven't heard?
00:26:50.340 No.
00:26:50.700 No.
00:26:51.160 China has explained all of this.
00:26:52.780 Oh, they got rid of the Bitcoin
00:26:54.960 because Bitcoin takes so much energy, okay?
00:27:00.580 And this is all part of them going green.
00:27:05.200 And...
00:27:05.480 Oh.
00:27:06.340 Mm-hmm.
00:27:06.900 Mm-hmm.
00:27:07.120 No, but they got rid of all cryptocurrencies and...
00:27:09.940 Yeah, because any transaction takes so much energy.
00:27:14.140 No, but when you're not on the same system as Bitcoin,
00:27:17.220 even those dumb arguments don't apply.
00:27:19.320 No, I mean, China is very clear on this.
00:27:25.660 Just one transaction consumes 1,544 kilowatt hours
00:27:32.540 or the equivalent of 53 days of power for the average household.
00:27:37.100 Did they address any of the other cryptocurrencies
00:27:42.440 that have no power profile that's anywhere close to that?
00:27:46.200 Uh...
00:27:47.120 Because they banned all cryptocurrency transactions.
00:27:49.640 Did you know that Bitcoin mined in China
00:27:51.480 uses 86 terawatt hours of electricity?
00:27:55.320 Interesting.
00:27:55.640 Oh, to mine it?
00:27:56.560 Yes.
00:27:57.180 Well, first of all...
00:27:58.020 Two-thirds from coal power,
00:27:59.400 and that's why they banned it.
00:28:00.680 They're getting rid of their coal power.
00:28:02.080 That's not true.
00:28:02.740 They also banned...
00:28:04.020 They also banned mining a long time ago there.
00:28:06.420 So this would have nothing to do with that.
00:28:08.120 All right.
00:28:08.280 Secondarily, a lot of the mining was done
00:28:10.020 on excess hydropower
00:28:11.980 as they were set up close to these giant dams.
00:28:15.900 If you want to throw in your own little facts here...
00:28:19.860 That was kind of what I was...
00:28:21.060 Look, I'm just telling you...
00:28:22.900 Anti-cumming spin.
00:28:23.340 I'm just...
00:28:23.940 Yes, I'm just telling you
00:28:25.600 that Chairman Z has come out
00:28:27.880 and said we are trying...
00:28:29.420 There's no way we're going to meet
00:28:31.440 the world's standards
00:28:33.400 unless we get off of coal,
00:28:36.360 and Bitcoin is part of that.
00:28:38.240 And now we're closing down
00:28:39.880 some of our factories
00:28:41.080 and some of our towns
00:28:42.600 because we really want to hit
00:28:45.620 the green energy demands.
00:28:48.400 And...
00:28:48.880 So are they closing the empty towns
00:28:50.540 that they've built?
00:28:51.380 Is that what they're doing?
00:28:52.720 We're going to close down
00:28:53.780 all the pretend towns
00:28:54.880 that no one lives in?
00:28:57.120 Oh, yes.
00:28:57.580 Some of them have to close down.
00:28:59.160 Yeah, sure.
00:29:00.140 They've...
00:29:00.700 Wow.
00:29:01.300 Yeah.
00:29:01.720 That Evergrande built?
00:29:03.020 Absolutely.
00:29:04.040 Absolutely.
00:29:04.560 Absolutely.
00:29:04.940 And they've also shift imports of coal
00:29:07.780 from Australia.
00:29:08.900 Australia was the number one
00:29:10.340 importer of coal for China,
00:29:12.480 and they said no more.
00:29:14.260 Now, they've doubled
00:29:16.140 the Mongolian coal
00:29:17.740 that's coming in.
00:29:19.640 And so...
00:29:20.940 But they're going to...
00:29:22.280 They're really...
00:29:23.260 Because they learned.
00:29:24.020 They said, you know,
00:29:24.780 we see the writing on the wall
00:29:26.200 with financing,
00:29:27.640 and the way Western financing
00:29:29.120 is working,
00:29:30.200 we're not going to be able
00:29:31.080 to build these coal plants.
00:29:32.240 So, even though they built
00:29:34.600 all of these coal plants
00:29:36.140 last year,
00:29:38.680 they want us to know
00:29:40.160 that they're going to
00:29:40.820 abandon them soon.
00:29:42.260 And this is what's part of it.
00:29:42.880 Well, how old were you last year?
00:29:44.520 I mean, I can't even remember.
00:29:46.980 Was I even born last year?
00:29:48.400 I don't think so.
00:29:49.060 Were there dinosaurs?
00:29:50.340 Yeah.
00:29:50.760 I think there might have been.
00:29:52.700 By the way,
00:29:53.280 their peak coal-fired power generation
00:29:56.100 is supposed to happen in 2027.
00:29:58.360 They keep moving that back,
00:30:00.080 but they're still increasing
00:30:02.300 their coal consumption
00:30:04.040 from now until 2027,
00:30:05.720 and those are their projections.
00:30:07.220 Yeah, but they're going to
00:30:08.020 close them down real quick
00:30:09.300 right now.
00:30:09.860 Right now, they're just...
00:30:11.220 That's what this power...
00:30:12.240 Don't think that it's
00:30:13.900 some sort of a shortage
00:30:15.020 or, you know,
00:30:16.320 central planning gone wrong.
00:30:18.520 They don't have that.
00:30:19.600 That's not an issue for them.
00:30:20.820 That's not an issue.
00:30:21.680 No.
00:30:21.840 It all works fine in China.
00:30:24.160 And getting coal,
00:30:26.240 you know,
00:30:26.460 no longer getting coal
00:30:27.440 from Australia,
00:30:28.240 that's not strategic.
00:30:30.980 They just wanted to get it
00:30:32.600 from Mongolia
00:30:33.680 because Mongolia
00:30:34.720 is landlocked,
00:30:36.100 and it's really close
00:30:37.200 to China
00:30:37.780 where you've got to ship
00:30:39.360 that dangerous coal
00:30:40.420 all the way across the sea
00:30:42.260 to China.
00:30:43.640 Wow, that's...
00:30:44.160 And...
00:30:44.880 The cutting edge
00:30:45.560 of the green movement.
00:30:47.320 I believe Al Gore
00:30:48.000 once told us that.
00:30:49.000 He sure did.
00:30:49.760 Yes, he did.
00:30:50.300 What did he sound like
00:30:51.080 when he said it?
00:30:56.220 What am I,
00:30:56.860 you're a trained monkey?
00:30:57.460 No, I was asking a question.
00:30:59.520 Yeah, go ahead.
00:31:00.400 China is on the cutting edge
00:31:02.720 of environmentalism.
00:31:05.840 The cutting edge.
00:31:07.880 That's a real quote,
00:31:08.760 by the way.
00:31:09.040 It is.
00:31:09.480 It is an actual quote from him.
00:31:11.160 This is the,
00:31:12.240 by far,
00:31:12.740 the largest polluter
00:31:13.600 in the world.
00:31:15.680 Responsible for, what,
00:31:16.520 80% of all plastic
00:31:18.060 in the ocean.
00:31:19.780 Responsible for emissions
00:31:21.180 that are way above
00:31:22.360 the United States of America.
00:31:23.680 And they were building
00:31:24.520 the equivalent
00:31:25.480 of a coal-fired power plant
00:31:27.020 every week
00:31:27.900 when he said it.
00:31:29.640 Okay, I have to change
00:31:30.900 the subject.
00:31:31.660 I have to get the update
00:31:33.220 from Baby Roe.
00:31:35.100 Is Baby Roe
00:31:36.220 pro-abortion or not?
00:31:38.200 And we had a prediction
00:31:38.840 yesterday.
00:31:39.420 Yeah, our prediction was
00:31:40.520 it's on ABC
00:31:41.460 the day before
00:31:42.960 the Supreme Court
00:31:43.900 starts, you know,
00:31:45.180 a very controversial year
00:31:46.720 where they're going
00:31:47.220 to decide
00:31:47.860 on abortion.
00:31:50.200 Oh, that right-wing court.
00:31:51.780 You know they're going to,
00:31:52.600 they're going to ban
00:31:53.960 abortion nationwide.
00:31:55.640 They're so right-wing.
00:31:57.460 And Baby Roe comes out
00:31:59.480 for the first time
00:32:00.500 and she's on ABC
00:32:01.780 and I thought,
00:32:02.680 what are the odds
00:32:03.780 that she's on ABC
00:32:05.020 and going to come out
00:32:06.680 and say she's pro-life?
00:32:08.600 Right.
00:32:08.780 Because that,
00:32:09.180 that seems exactly
00:32:10.980 like what ABC would run.
00:32:12.660 Oh, totally.
00:32:13.700 If she came out,
00:32:14.580 she's like,
00:32:14.940 look, I really think
00:32:15.960 abortion was bad.
00:32:16.560 I mean, I would have been dead
00:32:17.860 if it was legal
00:32:18.800 back then.
00:32:20.060 So obviously,
00:32:21.060 I'm pro-life.
00:32:22.600 Clearly, that interview
00:32:23.500 would air.
00:32:24.120 Yes.
00:32:24.480 They would definitely
00:32:25.220 make a big deal
00:32:25.860 about it.
00:32:26.200 So it aired yesterday.
00:32:27.720 Oh, okay.
00:32:28.280 So what did she say?
00:32:29.940 You didn't follow it either.
00:32:31.420 I was hoping you were.
00:32:32.860 Oh, no, I do know
00:32:33.880 the answer to this.
00:32:34.480 Okay, I think I know
00:32:35.760 the answer to this.
00:32:36.840 You're going to be stunned
00:32:37.760 to hear she's pro-choice.
00:32:40.080 No!
00:32:40.500 Yes, but she was very clear
00:32:42.500 about something.
00:32:43.480 What?
00:32:44.420 Very clear about something.
00:32:45.900 Uh-huh.
00:32:46.140 That she wanted
00:32:47.580 to make sure
00:32:48.380 that she was not used
00:32:49.780 by either side.
00:32:51.380 And of course,
00:32:51.880 the way to do that
00:32:52.680 is say you're pro-choice
00:32:53.700 in the middle
00:32:54.160 of a Supreme Court hearing
00:32:55.440 on national television.
00:32:57.820 Right, that's the time.
00:32:58.600 That's the time to do it
00:32:59.440 to not get used
00:33:00.360 by either side.
00:33:02.000 Uh-huh.
00:33:02.600 Uh-huh.
00:33:02.780 And certainly,
00:33:03.380 you weren't being used
00:33:04.500 by being put on television
00:33:05.600 to say the woman
00:33:06.780 who would have been
00:33:07.820 aborted back in the day
00:33:09.480 is now pro-choice.
00:33:10.520 They're not going to use
00:33:11.300 that at all.
00:33:12.000 No.
00:33:12.240 Don't be concerned.
00:33:13.520 That special wasn't
00:33:14.560 even using her.
00:33:15.620 No.
00:33:16.060 No.
00:33:16.420 No.
00:33:17.020 Just the thing
00:33:17.940 where she said,
00:33:18.800 I don't want to be used
00:33:19.780 was not using her.
00:33:21.000 No.
00:33:21.580 No.
00:33:21.920 And one other thing,
00:33:23.780 the update on Chris Cuomo's
00:33:27.200 accuser with Megyn Kelly.
00:33:29.440 Yes.
00:33:30.000 Yeah.
00:33:30.300 Yeah.
00:33:30.620 Did you hear this interview?
00:33:31.500 It was pretty interesting.
00:33:32.240 She was,
00:33:33.700 so the woman
00:33:34.500 was an executive producer
00:33:36.160 at ABC.
00:33:36.900 You know,
00:33:37.100 she's been all over television,
00:33:38.180 a very well-known executive,
00:33:39.200 and she claimed to be
00:33:42.260 groped by Chris Cuomo.
00:33:45.420 He hugged her
00:33:45.840 and grabbed her butt.
00:33:46.820 And grabbed her butt
00:33:47.520 in front of her husband
00:33:48.980 and then sent an email,
00:33:51.160 a very legalistic email,
00:33:52.980 to deny,
00:33:54.420 to not say that he did it,
00:33:56.040 but also to try to appease her
00:33:57.760 and say that he was sorry.
00:33:59.620 Anyway,
00:34:00.200 she went through
00:34:00.900 the entire story yesterday
00:34:02.200 and she used the word groped.
00:34:05.280 I mean,
00:34:05.440 that was her word.
00:34:06.940 She was not happy about it.
00:34:08.780 She said she was talked about
00:34:09.860 how CNN would not hold him responsible.
00:34:12.720 She's trying to draw this line of,
00:34:14.820 well,
00:34:14.860 don't fire him.
00:34:15.840 Have him go and do specials
00:34:17.380 on sexual harassment
00:34:19.020 and all these things.
00:34:20.180 Who wants to watch that?
00:34:22.320 Besides him.
00:34:23.260 Wait,
00:34:23.520 I could do specials
00:34:24.460 on sexual harassment?
00:34:25.280 Don't let me on TV again.
00:34:26.300 Wow.
00:34:26.620 Okay.
00:34:27.180 Yeah.
00:34:27.400 So,
00:34:27.840 Chris Cuomo still working there.
00:34:30.740 Still has not been forced
00:34:31.840 to address this in any way.
00:34:33.540 Totally fine.
00:34:34.660 Totally fine.
00:34:35.440 Well,
00:34:35.780 well,
00:34:36.020 you already explained,
00:34:37.160 Stu,
00:34:37.540 it wasn't sexual in any way.
00:34:39.760 Yes,
00:34:39.920 he grabbed her buttocks,
00:34:41.120 but that wasn't sexual.
00:34:42.920 It was like,
00:34:43.440 you know,
00:34:43.920 like a football player
00:34:44.920 to another football player.
00:34:46.600 Except they're not football players.
00:34:48.260 And football players
00:34:49.420 are both guys.
00:34:50.340 And football players
00:34:51.040 don't squeeze the butt.
00:34:52.300 They kind of slap it.
00:34:53.980 So,
00:34:54.060 it's a little bit different,
00:34:55.100 but I'm sure
00:34:55.860 it was very similar
00:34:56.880 in some sort of way.
00:34:57.880 Brian Stelter is all over this.
00:34:59.340 Either that
00:34:59.780 or he hasn't said anything about it.
00:35:01.360 Yeah.
00:35:01.660 Well,
00:35:01.820 actually she mentioned this
00:35:02.760 in the interview.
00:35:03.460 Wait a minute,
00:35:04.040 you don't know which one it is?
00:35:05.100 I can't remember which one it is.
00:35:06.760 Huh.
00:35:07.360 It's like,
00:35:07.860 the Roe Baby,
00:35:09.160 is she pro-life
00:35:10.280 or is she pro-choice?
00:35:12.620 I can't decide which one.
00:35:14.780 Shelly Ross said
00:35:16.000 that,
00:35:16.380 you know,
00:35:16.820 Brian Stelter
00:35:17.500 had basically given up
00:35:18.400 all of his credibility
00:35:19.340 by not commenting on this.
00:35:20.900 Which is weird
00:35:21.600 because there's not
00:35:22.460 a lot of credibility
00:35:23.180 to give away.
00:35:24.240 That's for sure.
00:35:24.900 You know what I mean?
00:35:25.580 But they,
00:35:26.420 obviously,
00:35:27.080 if a Fox News person,
00:35:28.300 I mean,
00:35:28.480 do we even have to say this?
00:35:29.520 No.
00:35:29.660 If a Fox News personality
00:35:30.780 was caught in this situation
00:35:33.060 and it was documented,
00:35:35.300 I think Brian Stelter
00:35:37.400 might mention it.
00:35:39.020 I know.
00:35:40.080 Really?
00:35:40.680 Yeah.
00:35:41.000 I think he might be
00:35:41.700 a little concerned.
00:35:42.720 Right.
00:35:43.220 I don't know.
00:35:44.080 And he might criticize Fox
00:35:45.460 for not making
00:35:46.360 the host go on the air
00:35:48.140 and talk about it.
00:35:48.720 I think this is crazy talk.
00:35:50.400 It's just like,
00:35:51.180 you know,
00:35:51.440 those people who don't believe
00:35:52.680 that China
00:35:53.820 is intentionally shutting down
00:35:56.800 their own energy supply
00:35:58.020 right now
00:35:58.640 because of the Green,
00:35:59.840 you know,
00:36:00.140 the Green New Deal
00:36:00.840 that's going to be global.
00:36:01.840 It's going to sweep the world.
00:36:03.180 They're going to lead the way
00:36:04.440 and they're very concerned
00:36:05.460 about all of the people
00:36:07.060 that worry about the planet.
00:36:08.640 They're very concerned.
00:36:09.520 It almost sounded like
00:36:10.200 you laughed in the middle
00:36:11.120 of that sentence a little bit.
00:36:12.200 Just a little bit.
00:36:13.040 Well, I was thinking
00:36:13.680 of Brian Stelter's credibility.
00:36:16.060 Oh, okay.
00:36:17.020 Not of China's.
00:36:18.520 No, no, no.
00:36:19.680 Good.
00:36:20.120 Not at all.
00:36:21.120 Okay, let me tell you
00:36:21.940 about Rough Greens.
00:36:23.200 Andrea wrote in a while back
00:36:24.600 about her dog's experience
00:36:25.480 with Rough Greens.
00:36:26.080 She said,
00:36:26.420 our German Shepherd's
00:36:27.220 been suffering with skin allergies
00:36:28.600 and infections
00:36:29.340 and she has slowed way down
00:36:31.900 because of it.
00:36:33.400 She also has a bad hip.
00:36:36.120 I hate that with German Shepherds.
00:36:38.220 It becomes so painful for them.
00:36:39.500 We started using Rough Greens
00:36:41.000 a few weeks ago
00:36:42.600 and the best word
00:36:44.160 we can use to describe it
00:36:45.500 is she's happy.
00:36:47.600 She's happy.
00:36:48.940 She has bounce in her step again.
00:36:50.540 Seems to be walking better.
00:36:52.020 Fur is shinier as well.
00:36:53.240 We're thrilled.
00:36:54.560 We heard about your company
00:36:55.800 on the Glenn Beck show
00:36:57.540 and you have another
00:36:59.320 satisfied regular customer.
00:37:01.520 Thank you so much.
00:37:02.820 Andrea, God bless you.
00:37:04.800 This is it's really
00:37:05.920 it's amazing.
00:37:07.680 Uno eats his food now
00:37:09.800 and we've been feeding him
00:37:12.040 this or putting it on his food
00:37:13.740 for about two years.
00:37:15.680 I think I do.
00:37:16.980 Does anybody have a sense
00:37:17.840 of time anymore?
00:37:19.280 Like time is gone.
00:37:20.620 I have no idea.
00:37:22.680 Anyway, Rough Greens,
00:37:24.500 not a dog food.
00:37:25.460 It's something you sprinkle
00:37:26.500 on the dog food
00:37:27.500 and it is really impacted
00:37:29.180 our dogs.
00:37:30.620 You can get a free bag
00:37:31.460 of Rough Greens
00:37:32.080 for your dog to try out.

00:37:59.960 that's this coming Saturday,

00:38:03.260 Renewing Kindness.
00:38:04.460 It is our annual fundraiser

00:38:53.660 People ask me all the time,
00:38:54.740 what do we do?
00:38:55.400 What do we do?
00:38:56.880 I'm going to give you that list
00:38:58.220 Saturday night.

00:39:12.440 the vision for America

00:39:16.800 been seen before in public.

00:39:30.920 mercuryone.org
00:39:32.080 or m1nextchapter.com.
00:39:35.120 Do it now.
00:39:37.020 All right.
00:39:38.480 We have Stephen Moore,
00:39:40.960 moron with us
00:39:41.820 in just a second.
00:39:44.320 I am so frustrated
00:39:47.680 with the way the media
00:39:49.560 is covering this economy.
00:39:51.460 They're doing everything they can
00:39:52.840 to make President Biden
00:39:56.560 look like he's doing a good job
00:39:58.060 on the economy,
00:39:58.760 and they're grossly misleading people.
00:40:01.900 You should be preparing.
00:40:04.160 Yeah, I'm interested to hear
00:40:05.160 what Stephen Moore has to say
00:40:06.180 about this because he is
00:40:08.020 usually a guy
00:40:10.100 that can talk us
00:40:11.560 off the ledge a little.
00:40:13.080 Right?
00:40:13.480 You know, he's a little
00:40:14.760 more optimism
00:40:15.520 than we might at times.
00:40:18.080 Yeah.
00:40:19.100 And I'm interested to hear
00:40:21.280 what he thinks
00:40:21.800 about the supply chain.
00:40:23.500 Like, are we going to have
00:40:24.620 products in our stores?
00:40:26.880 You know, right now,
00:40:27.940 it seems like there's
00:40:29.140 a lot of indications
00:40:29.800 that there might be
00:40:30.460 some trouble with that
00:40:31.240 coming up.
00:40:32.160 Yeah, but if you could swim
00:40:33.520 out to the cargo ships,
00:40:35.840 you could get that product
00:40:37.220 you've been waiting for.
00:40:38.780 It's right there.
00:40:39.720 Maybe we can borrow the boats
00:40:40.720 from the people
00:40:41.180 who are harassing Joe Manchin.
00:40:42.820 Oh, that would be great.
00:40:44.040 What, don't they care
00:40:44.880 about America?
00:40:46.280 No.
00:40:47.100 Back in just a minute.
00:40:48.100 Let's talk about your dog.
00:40:57.020 Your dog is your best friend,
00:40:59.440 probably.
00:41:00.500 The one that isn't annoying
00:41:01.620 all the time.
00:41:03.100 Happy to see you.
00:41:04.760 Completely unconditional
00:41:06.160 in its love for you.
00:41:08.620 That's the type of creature
00:41:10.300 you want to take care of.
00:41:11.140 Everyone, nice human beings.
00:41:12.580 Ugh.
00:41:13.260 I mean, they're just terrible
00:41:14.100 most of the time.
00:41:15.060 But dogs,
00:41:16.000 totally different thing.
00:41:17.160 We have a couple of dogs,
00:41:17.980 Piper and Miles.
00:41:19.000 Miles is known as
00:41:20.080 President Miles
00:41:20.700 because he sleeps
00:41:21.640 22 hours a day
00:41:22.460 like the president.
00:41:23.900 And he,
00:41:25.440 while he loves his sleep,
00:41:26.980 he's the most comfortable
00:41:27.780 dog in the world.
00:41:28.900 He also loves to get up
00:41:30.040 and have some rough greens.
00:41:31.300 Rough greens is a supplement
00:41:32.580 you put on top
00:41:33.360 of the dog food.
00:41:34.100 It's not a dog food itself.
00:41:35.640 It just gives you
00:41:36.180 all the vitamins
00:41:36.860 and minerals
00:41:38.060 that you need to give
00:41:38.780 to your dog
00:41:39.340 for a happier
00:41:40.560 and healthier life.
00:41:42.480 My dogs love rough greens.
00:41:44.480 I know Glenn's dogs
00:41:45.560 love rough greens as well.
00:41:47.340 They do.
00:41:47.720 And, you know,
00:41:48.940 considering the difficult
00:41:50.060 you used to have
00:41:50.780 feeding your dogs,
00:41:52.260 it's nice to have
00:41:53.060 rough greens
00:41:53.400 because they're excited
00:41:54.020 to eat.
00:41:56.220 Okay.
00:41:56.960 We're going to be
00:41:57.360 coming back here
00:41:57.820 in just a second.
00:41:58.740 It's rough greens.com
00:41:59.960 slash back
00:42:00.480 or 833 Glenn 33.
00:42:02.440 What you are about to hear
00:42:25.300 is the fusion
00:42:26.760 of entertainment
00:42:27.760 and enlightenment.
00:42:31.300 This is
00:42:33.240 The Glenn Beck Program.
00:42:41.080 Let's go, Brandon.
00:42:42.960 I'm sorry.
00:42:44.060 Welcome to the
00:42:45.060 Glenn Beck Program.
00:42:46.600 By the way,
00:42:47.100 you can get your t-shirt.
00:42:48.240 Let's go, Brandon t-shirt.
00:42:49.900 You know,
00:42:50.180 if you're in the know,
00:42:51.260 you know who Brandon
00:42:52.140 really is
00:42:53.080 and how we all
00:42:54.080 really feel,
00:42:55.480 you can get that
00:42:56.100 at shop.blazemedia.com.
00:43:01.960 Anyway,
00:43:02.600 we want to talk a little bit
00:43:03.780 about the economy.
00:43:05.420 Stephen Moore
00:43:06.060 usually can talk me
00:43:07.420 off the ledge.
00:43:08.280 Sometimes I talk him
00:43:10.040 onto the ledge.
00:43:11.560 He is a renowned economist.
00:43:14.240 He has worked for
00:43:15.440 the former administration
00:43:16.880 as an advisor.
00:43:18.980 He is now the co-founder
00:43:20.420 of the Committee
00:43:20.940 to Unleash Prosperity.
00:43:23.140 I think we're going
00:43:24.180 in the opposite direction.
00:43:25.740 I want to talk to him
00:43:26.760 about the economy,
00:43:28.400 the supply chain issues
00:43:30.640 and the debt ceiling
00:43:34.500 and the three and a half
00:43:36.460 trillion dollar
00:43:37.300 reconciliation bill.
00:43:39.060 What's coming our way?
00:43:40.420 Stephen Moore
00:43:40.920 coming up
00:43:41.480 in just a couple of minutes.
00:43:45.340 The Glenn Beck Program.
00:43:46.980 All right,
00:43:47.340 but first,
00:43:47.840 let's talk about
00:43:48.600 Relief Factor.
00:43:49.480 Let me tell you
00:43:49.860 about Elizabeth
00:43:50.320 who wrote in recently
00:43:51.420 about her experience
00:43:52.180 with Relief Factor.
00:43:53.000 She says,
00:43:53.620 I've been taking Relief Factor
00:43:54.520 for two weeks
00:43:55.300 and I already want to
00:43:56.860 tell other people about it.
00:43:59.040 Yesterday,
00:43:59.480 I took two Pilates classes
00:44:01.900 and I had two of them.
00:44:05.320 I've had hip replacement surgery
00:44:07.200 that really has been
00:44:08.280 slowing me down
00:44:09.180 until Relief Factor
00:44:10.480 came along.
00:44:11.940 I've always been athletic,
00:44:13.540 but I was concerned
00:44:14.220 that my energy
00:44:14.880 and my stamina
00:44:15.560 were becoming things
00:44:17.580 of the past.
00:44:18.380 Not anymore.
00:44:19.900 People have always told me
00:44:21.120 how young I look
00:44:22.000 for my age
00:44:22.800 and now I really feel young
00:44:24.740 for my age.
00:44:26.080 Thanks,
00:44:26.700 Relief Factor.
00:44:27.760 Elizabeth,
00:44:28.080 I absolutely love your story.
00:44:29.960 Thank you so much
00:44:30.720 for writing in.
00:44:31.900 Thanks for trying
00:44:32.720 Relief Factor.
00:44:33.840 Please,
00:44:34.360 if you want to get
00:44:35.240 your life back
00:44:36.020 and you feel like
00:44:36.980 this is the way
00:44:37.420 it's going to be,
00:44:38.400 don't feel that way.
00:44:39.680 At least try this.
00:44:41.240 70% of the people
00:44:42.300 who try it
00:44:42.900 go on to order more.
00:44:44.500 The three-week
00:44:45.260 quick start trial pack
00:44:46.860 will show you
00:44:47.640 if it's going to work
00:44:48.320 or not.
00:44:49.520 1995,

00:44:51.960 or call 800-583-84.
00:44:54.880 ReliefFactor.com
00:44:56.040 800-583-84.
00:45:01.540 Stephen Moore
00:45:02.500 is joining us now.
00:45:04.640 Stephen Moore,
00:45:05.140 co-founder of
00:45:05.880 Committee to Unleash
00:45:06.640 Prosperity,
00:45:07.540 senior economic contributor
00:45:08.640 for FreedomWorks.
00:45:10.180 We want to talk to him
00:45:11.720 about the economy,
00:45:13.340 the supply chain,
00:45:14.660 the reconciliation bill,
00:45:16.400 the debt ceiling.
00:45:18.440 Hey, Stephen,
00:45:19.360 how are you?
00:45:20.680 Hey, Glenn.
00:45:21.320 I'm good.
00:45:21.980 I'm in good mood.
00:45:23.680 Yeah.
00:45:23.920 I learned yesterday
00:45:26.660 that all of this
00:45:28.320 $5 trillion spending bill,
00:45:29.920 it's free.
00:45:30.700 It's not going to cost
00:45:31.360 a penny.
00:45:32.100 Yeah.
00:45:32.520 Not one nickel.
00:45:33.440 Yeah.
00:45:33.800 That puts you
00:45:34.620 in a good mood,
00:45:35.140 doesn't it?
00:45:36.000 Yeah.
00:45:36.600 Yeah.
00:45:37.220 Wouldn't it be wonderful
00:45:38.720 if life was that great?
00:45:39.820 All we had to do
00:45:40.320 is just print all this money
00:45:41.420 and it would be free.
00:45:43.220 You know,
00:45:43.320 every time Joe Biden
00:45:44.280 says that,
00:45:44.860 by the way,
00:45:45.440 and Nancy Pelosi says it,
00:45:46.940 the support for the bill
00:45:47.860 goes down.
00:45:49.060 You know,
00:45:49.520 it kills me.
00:45:50.560 I was doing an interview
00:45:51.280 the other day,
00:45:52.100 I think it was with
00:45:52.940 Megyn Kelly,
00:45:53.520 and she said,
00:45:54.400 you know,
00:45:54.720 but a lot of people say
00:45:55.960 that this thinking,
00:45:57.820 this new modern monetary theory
00:46:00.480 really kind of dates people
00:46:03.580 and shows that,
00:46:04.820 no,
00:46:04.960 you're living in the past.
00:46:06.080 You don't have to do that.
00:46:06.860 And I said,
00:46:07.820 you don't think
00:46:08.820 some king
00:46:10.600 back in the 1200s
00:46:12.800 had the idea of,
00:46:15.700 let's just print it.
00:46:16.880 We don't need it.
00:46:18.280 I mean,
00:46:18.860 come on.
00:46:20.400 Yeah.
00:46:21.020 Well,
00:46:21.340 you know,
00:46:21.680 this is a great point.
00:46:22.800 That you're making.
00:46:23.420 So,
00:46:24.040 you know,
00:46:24.600 the last,
00:46:25.420 you and I have known each other
00:46:26.320 a long,
00:46:26.700 long time.
00:46:27.180 And for the last 30 years
00:46:28.800 or so of my life,
00:46:29.780 I've dabbled the Keynesians.
00:46:31.740 And the Keynesians believed
00:46:33.580 this,
00:46:34.140 you know,
00:46:34.480 back to the 1930s,
00:46:36.260 that,
00:46:36.920 you know,
00:46:37.180 what you did
00:46:37.900 with fiscal policy,
00:46:39.280 government spending
00:46:40.020 and tax policy
00:46:40.980 is when you had a depression
00:46:43.280 or you had a war
00:46:44.460 or you had some kind of crisis
00:46:45.740 like COVID,
00:46:46.740 that you would run up
00:46:47.740 government borrowing.
00:46:49.300 And then the idea
00:46:50.500 of Keynesian economics
00:46:51.540 was then,
00:46:52.260 then when the economy improved,
00:46:54.040 you would start to,
00:46:55.460 you know,
00:46:55.780 pay that debt down.
00:46:57.500 And it was sort of
00:46:58.280 a way of smooth.
00:46:58.940 And that was the theory.
00:46:59.820 And I never believed
00:47:00.680 in the theory.
00:47:01.180 I thought it was just
00:47:01.700 an excuse to spend money.
00:47:03.260 But the point is,
00:47:04.040 so now we are in a recovery.
00:47:06.980 I mean,
00:47:07.100 the economy is actually doing well.
00:47:08.900 We have 10 million
00:47:09.540 open in jobs today.
00:47:10.680 There are jobs out there
00:47:11.540 for anybody who wants them.
00:47:12.540 There's no shortage of jobs.
00:47:14.180 And yet the government wants,
00:47:15.560 the left wants to borrow,
00:47:17.120 you know,
00:47:18.320 $8, $10, $12 trillion.
00:47:20.560 Now,
00:47:21.120 from an economic point of view,
00:47:22.380 that makes absolutely no sense.
00:47:24.000 It's anti-Keynesian, right?
00:47:25.360 And we should be actually
00:47:26.520 paying down our debt right now,
00:47:28.340 not increasing the debt
00:47:31.000 in a recovery.
00:47:32.080 And so now they've come up
00:47:34.040 with this new idea
00:47:35.400 that,
00:47:36.200 as you just said,
00:47:36.880 it's called
00:47:37.200 modern monetary theory.
00:47:38.740 And all modern monetary theory is,
00:47:41.200 is the idea that the government
00:47:42.380 can spend and spend
00:47:43.600 and borrow and borrow.
00:47:45.900 And because we are
00:47:46.860 the world reserve currency,
00:47:48.240 we can do this at no cost.
00:47:50.720 Now,
00:47:51.160 that is,
00:47:51.660 as you said,
00:47:52.500 the kings of the Middle Ages
00:47:54.840 thought of this idea.
00:47:56.800 Every time it's ever been tried,
00:47:58.820 it has led to
00:48:00.200 the decline of vampires.
00:48:02.080 I mean,
00:48:02.640 you go back to the
00:48:04.000 Greek empire,
00:48:05.220 the Roman empire,
00:48:06.320 the British empire,
00:48:07.500 you know,
00:48:07.680 the great empires of,
00:48:09.180 and the one constant is
00:48:10.820 that mostly these empires
00:48:12.820 have been destroyed
00:48:13.480 from within,
00:48:14.240 not from without,
00:48:15.360 and debt
00:48:16.120 and over-government spending
00:48:17.700 have been,
00:48:18.300 you know,
00:48:18.980 the trigger
00:48:19.580 for the decline of empires.
00:48:21.280 Now,
00:48:21.420 I hope that doesn't happen
00:48:22.340 in the United States,
00:48:23.240 but come on,
00:48:24.260 we're going to double
00:48:25.240 our national debt
00:48:26.180 over the next 12 years,
00:48:27.940 and that's supposed to be good
00:48:29.040 for our economy?
00:48:29.840 Well,
00:48:30.460 the idea here,
00:48:32.100 and what we're leaving out,
00:48:33.340 what we're leaving out
00:48:34.220 is the really fun part
00:48:35.420 of modern monetary theory.
00:48:36.980 The reason why they say
00:48:38.560 that it's not going to
00:48:39.880 calm the beast,
00:48:41.180 man,
00:48:41.540 calm the beast.
00:48:42.420 the reason why I'd say
00:48:44.760 it's not going to lead
00:48:45.660 to inflation
00:48:46.540 is because
00:48:47.760 we can,
00:48:49.880 the government
00:48:51.060 will control
00:48:52.360 what people can buy
00:48:53.960 and not buy,
00:48:54.900 so if milk
00:48:56.260 all of a sudden
00:48:56.940 starts to become,
00:48:58.080 you know,
00:48:59.440 too high of a price,
00:49:00.800 they'll quash that price
00:49:02.940 by,
00:49:04.160 you know,
00:49:04.900 by making sure
00:49:05.880 that the milkmaids
00:49:07.300 are milking more cows
00:49:08.800 or whatever it is,
00:49:10.300 so it requires
00:49:11.960 incredible amounts
00:49:14.180 of government
00:49:14.820 to be able to
00:49:16.160 quash the inflation
00:49:17.440 they say
00:49:18.220 will never happen.
00:49:20.760 People should be
00:49:21.660 paying attention
00:49:22.300 right now
00:49:22.900 to what's happening,
00:49:23.820 I don't know
00:49:24.160 if you've been
00:49:24.900 paying attention,
00:49:25.600 Glenn,
00:49:25.760 to what's happening
00:49:26.240 in Britain right now,
00:49:27.280 but they're paying
00:49:28.100 like seven,
00:49:28.720 eight dollars a gallon
00:49:29.680 for gasoline right now.
00:49:31.480 They have,
00:49:32.020 they have such
00:49:32.920 supply chain problems
00:49:34.260 that people are
00:49:35.080 literally taking
00:49:35.620 water bottles
00:49:36.400 and they're filling up
00:49:37.200 with gasoline
00:49:37.900 for their cars
00:49:38.780 and they're hoarding it
00:49:40.020 and doesn't this
00:49:41.000 remind you
00:49:41.420 of what happened
00:49:41.880 in the 1970s
00:49:42.820 when we had gas fines
00:49:43.880 and it's because
00:49:44.880 the energy supplies
00:49:45.840 have been really
00:49:46.980 restricted
00:49:48.220 and gee,
00:49:49.080 what country
00:49:49.500 is restricting
00:49:50.080 their energy supply?
00:49:51.340 Oh yeah,
00:49:51.800 the United States.
00:49:52.740 You know,
00:49:52.920 we're the number one
00:49:54.000 producer of oil
00:49:55.120 and gas and coal
00:49:55.880 and we've got a
00:49:56.360 dingbat president
00:49:57.080 who's saying
00:49:57.520 let's stop producing
00:49:58.380 oil, gas, and coal.
00:49:59.700 This is,
00:50:00.180 you know,
00:50:00.380 even if you believe
00:50:01.180 that we had to stop
00:50:02.300 using fossil fuels,
00:50:03.300 the idea of just
00:50:03.880 turning off the spigots
00:50:04.960 now is really,
00:50:06.820 really dangerous.
00:50:08.120 Very dangerous.
00:50:08.580 I worry that
00:50:10.340 that's coming
00:50:10.860 to the United States
00:50:11.880 that you're going
00:50:12.280 to start seeing
00:50:12.840 higher and higher
00:50:13.380 gas prices.
00:50:15.020 We're not developing
00:50:16.440 new wells in this
00:50:17.360 country right now
00:50:18.380 and we have so,
00:50:19.500 I mean,
00:50:19.700 the Permian Basin
00:50:20.600 in Texas,
00:50:21.780 I think you're in Texas,
00:50:23.580 that has more oil
00:50:25.320 than Saudi Arabia
00:50:26.660 has.
00:50:27.160 I know.
00:50:27.900 I will tell you,
00:50:29.260 Stephen,
00:50:29.860 I think that it is
00:50:30.960 possible in the next
00:50:32.020 18 months
00:50:32.920 that we see
00:50:33.580 six,
00:50:34.080 seven dollar
00:50:34.600 gallon gasoline
00:50:35.520 here in America
00:50:36.860 if we don't
00:50:37.800 change course.
00:50:38.860 I mean,
00:50:39.800 nobody in the
00:50:40.900 Middle East
00:50:41.340 is listening to us
00:50:42.400 anymore and doing
00:50:43.320 us favors
00:50:44.080 and we're not
00:50:46.840 producing anything
00:50:47.760 and quite honestly,
00:50:49.460 the green people
00:50:50.400 would love gasoline
00:50:51.920 to be that high.
00:50:53.600 They would.
00:50:54.380 They want it.
00:50:55.320 And incidentally,
00:50:56.580 there's an amazing
00:50:57.300 fact for you,
00:50:58.440 Glenn,
00:50:58.620 that really
00:50:59.940 shows what
00:51:01.440 can happen
00:51:01.960 when you put
00:51:02.400 America first.
00:51:03.520 In January
00:51:04.380 of 2021,
00:51:06.220 January of this
00:51:06.980 past year,
00:51:07.980 do you know
00:51:08.400 how much oil,
00:51:09.300 this was Donald
00:51:10.040 Trump's last
00:51:10.680 month in office,
00:51:11.440 do you know
00:51:11.660 how much oil
00:51:12.220 we imported
00:51:12.780 from Saudi
00:51:14.200 Arabia?
00:51:15.460 No.
00:51:16.880 Zero.
00:51:18.360 Zero.
00:51:19.100 That was the
00:51:19.740 first time
00:51:20.260 in a year
00:51:20.560 in my lifetime
00:51:21.220 we were actually
00:51:22.060 not importing
00:51:22.960 oil from other
00:51:24.060 countries.
00:51:24.860 Now,
00:51:25.640 so Biden
00:51:26.540 comes in,
00:51:27.280 he reverses
00:51:28.040 that and
00:51:28.780 now we're
00:51:29.560 totally,
00:51:30.060 I mean,
00:51:30.260 OPEC,
00:51:30.780 who's the
00:51:31.160 big winner
00:51:31.560 in everything
00:51:32.020 that Biden
00:51:32.540 is doing
00:51:32.860 right now?
00:51:33.420 Well,
00:51:33.560 let's see,
00:51:34.100 the Saudi
00:51:34.480 oil sheiks,
00:51:35.480 OPEC,
00:51:36.340 Vladimir Putin
00:51:37.080 and China.
00:51:37.840 I mean,
00:51:38.160 we're playing
00:51:38.560 right into
00:51:39.020 their hands.
00:51:41.900 Okay,
00:51:42.560 so let's
00:51:43.000 talk about
00:51:44.080 the supply
00:51:45.780 chain here.
00:51:47.560 I don't
00:51:47.940 think people
00:51:48.560 understand,
00:51:49.640 you know,
00:51:49.860 people,
00:51:50.240 everybody has
00:51:51.000 experience going
00:51:51.840 into some
00:51:52.300 store and,
00:51:52.980 you know,
00:51:53.740 wanting something
00:51:54.380 and them saying
00:51:55.020 we don't have
00:51:55.900 any more and
00:51:57.000 I can't tell
00:51:57.580 you when
00:51:58.060 it's going
00:51:58.380 to come
00:51:58.680 back in,
00:51:59.840 but I've
00:52:01.020 been recommending
00:52:01.800 that people
00:52:02.300 do their
00:52:02.620 Christmas shopping
00:52:03.280 right now.
00:52:05.500 You agree
00:52:06.220 with that?
00:52:08.220 There are
00:52:08.900 supply chain
00:52:10.160 problems.
00:52:10.780 It's all
00:52:11.140 being driven
00:52:11.680 by government.
00:52:12.980 One of the,
00:52:13.480 people ask me,
00:52:14.200 why are we
00:52:14.600 having problems?
00:52:15.320 I'll give you
00:52:15.820 one example.
00:52:16.540 So I'm
00:52:18.080 actually pretty
00:52:19.280 close to Fred
00:52:20.200 Smith,
00:52:20.540 who's the CEO
00:52:21.900 of FedEx,
00:52:22.780 great guy,
00:52:23.320 one of the
00:52:23.640 great entrepreneurs
00:52:24.200 in American
00:52:24.780 history,
00:52:25.680 and he is
00:52:26.600 probably the
00:52:27.300 CEO of a
00:52:28.020 company that's
00:52:28.460 one of the
00:52:28.760 25 largest
00:52:29.460 companies in
00:52:29.980 the world.
00:52:31.460 He was telling
00:52:32.100 me the other
00:52:32.500 day that
00:52:33.060 FedEx has
00:52:34.040 20,000 job
00:52:36.220 openings,
00:52:37.060 20,000 job
00:52:38.780 openings,
00:52:39.360 truckers,
00:52:40.560 mechanics,
00:52:41.760 people working
00:52:42.300 in the
00:52:42.520 warehouses,
00:52:43.320 people working
00:52:44.040 in delivery,
00:52:44.780 people,
00:52:45.320 and these
00:52:45.560 are,
00:52:45.920 FedEx is a
00:52:46.760 high paying
00:52:47.440 employer.
00:52:49.320 You know,
00:52:49.800 they pay,
00:52:50.880 you know,
00:52:51.060 their truckers
00:52:51.660 make 80,
00:52:52.200 90,
00:52:52.400 100,000
00:52:53.060 dollars a
00:52:53.380 year.
00:52:53.660 They can't
00:52:54.460 build the
00:52:54.900 jobs.
00:52:55.560 You know
00:52:55.700 why,
00:52:56.000 Glenn?
00:52:56.320 Because the
00:52:56.740 government is
00:52:57.200 paying people
00:52:57.760 to stay
00:52:58.120 unemployed.
00:52:59.040 With all
00:52:59.520 of these
00:52:59.860 benefits,
00:53:01.160 one of the
00:53:02.120 worst features
00:53:02.940 of what
00:53:03.400 Biden wants
00:53:04.000 to do is
00:53:04.900 they are
00:53:05.240 eviscerating
00:53:06.040 all of the
00:53:06.820 work requirements
00:53:07.700 that we put
00:53:08.260 under Bill
00:53:09.260 Clinton,
00:53:09.720 who is a
00:53:10.020 Democrat,
00:53:10.820 we put in
00:53:11.480 welfare reform
00:53:12.800 that basically
00:53:13.380 said we're
00:53:13.840 going to have
00:53:14.160 a safety net,
00:53:14.980 but you've
00:53:15.240 got to work
00:53:17.220 or get
00:53:17.520 training or
00:53:18.100 get schooling
00:53:18.640 or get,
00:53:19.140 you know,
00:53:19.440 skills.
00:53:20.500 They're getting
00:53:21.040 rid of all
00:53:21.520 of those
00:53:21.780 things.
00:53:22.040 And you've
00:53:22.640 got people
00:53:23.080 literally in
00:53:23.600 many states
00:53:24.200 now,
00:53:24.780 you've got
00:53:25.140 a couple
00:53:25.560 that's
00:53:25.820 unemployed
00:53:26.280 with all
00:53:27.140 the benefits,
00:53:27.820 the food
00:53:28.240 benefits,
00:53:28.960 the rental
00:53:30.200 assistance,
00:53:31.080 the cash
00:53:31.860 payments.
00:53:32.540 You can make
00:53:33.000 $100,000 a
00:53:34.080 year and not
00:53:34.580 work a single
00:53:35.100 hour.
00:53:36.440 Jeez.
00:53:36.660 Steven, I
00:53:40.200 heard yesterday
00:53:40.940 the president
00:53:41.500 said that it's
00:53:43.180 the Republicans
00:53:43.800 that are trying
00:53:44.540 to destroy
00:53:45.100 the economy.
00:53:46.180 The Republicans
00:53:46.920 won't raise
00:53:47.860 the debt
00:53:48.360 ceiling.
00:53:49.660 That's not
00:53:50.560 true.
00:53:51.420 The Republicans
00:53:52.620 aren't going
00:53:53.600 to do it
00:53:54.080 because the
00:53:54.960 Democrats could
00:53:56.000 do it just
00:53:56.580 with 50 votes
00:53:57.500 if they didn't
00:53:58.440 want the
00:53:59.220 reconciliation
00:53:59.720 package as
00:54:00.880 well of
00:54:02.440 $3.5 trillion.
00:54:03.640 So it is
00:54:05.340 their
00:54:05.860 recklessness
00:54:07.700 of the
00:54:09.100 $3.5 trillion
00:54:10.500 bill that is
00:54:11.580 actually going
00:54:12.340 to put us
00:54:14.080 into default.
00:54:15.340 Who's going
00:54:15.840 to blink
00:54:16.200 first and tell
00:54:17.160 me the
00:54:17.460 ramifications
00:54:18.100 of it?
00:54:19.520 So let me
00:54:20.020 just correct
00:54:20.460 you on one
00:54:20.860 thing you
00:54:21.180 said, Glenn.
00:54:22.180 It is not
00:54:22.880 a $3.5 trillion
00:54:24.280 spending bill.
00:54:25.100 They're using
00:54:25.620 phony accounting.
00:54:26.660 They're using
00:54:27.060 fake bookkeeping.
00:54:28.120 It's really
00:54:28.580 $5 trillion.
00:54:29.360 The Wall Street
00:54:29.780 Journal reported
00:54:30.460 on that a few
00:54:31.180 days ago that
00:54:31.880 if you use
00:54:32.560 real
00:54:33.320 accounting,
00:54:34.180 it's $5 trillion.
00:54:35.880 So that's
00:54:36.840 point number
00:54:37.200 one.
00:54:37.500 I'm going
00:54:38.160 to use an
00:54:39.200 analogy.
00:54:40.340 Let's say
00:54:40.980 that Glenn
00:54:41.400 Beck has
00:54:42.400 had some
00:54:44.040 tough times
00:54:44.820 and you
00:54:45.620 took out
00:54:45.980 a bunch
00:54:46.220 of loans
00:54:46.740 and now
00:54:47.560 you're having
00:54:47.940 a hard time
00:54:48.920 paying back
00:54:49.400 the loans
00:54:49.900 and so you
00:54:50.740 have to go
00:54:51.060 to the bank
00:54:51.620 and say,
00:54:53.120 hey, look,
00:54:53.540 I need another
00:54:54.280 loan.
00:54:54.780 I've got some
00:54:55.780 tough times
00:54:56.280 here.
00:54:56.760 I'm on the
00:54:57.120 road to
00:54:57.400 bankruptcy
00:54:57.780 and I want
00:54:59.500 a loan
00:55:00.220 and can you
00:55:01.440 increase my
00:55:02.060 credit card
00:55:02.540 limit?
00:55:02.780 And the
00:55:03.680 bank is
00:55:04.160 going to
00:55:04.380 say,
00:55:04.820 well,
00:55:06.340 you know,
00:55:06.820 what's your
00:55:07.340 plan?
00:55:07.940 What's your
00:55:08.460 plan for
00:55:08.900 getting out
00:55:09.280 of debt,
00:55:09.660 Glenn Beck?
00:55:10.120 You know,
00:55:10.660 if you've got
00:55:11.480 this debt,
00:55:12.820 you know,
00:55:13.120 you want us
00:55:14.180 to extend
00:55:14.620 your credit
00:55:15.700 card limit
00:55:16.160 and you want
00:55:16.560 a loan,
00:55:17.440 we want to
00:55:17.960 see your
00:55:18.260 plan for
00:55:18.960 getting out
00:55:19.960 of debt.
00:55:21.260 And then it
00:55:22.240 would be
00:55:22.540 analogous to
00:55:23.480 then you're
00:55:24.960 saying,
00:55:25.640 the reason
00:55:26.380 I'm bankrupt
00:55:26.880 is because
00:55:27.480 they won't
00:55:28.700 give me the
00:55:29.180 loan.
00:55:29.960 And this is
00:55:30.560 exactly what
00:55:31.500 Republicans are
00:55:32.600 doing.
00:55:32.860 They're saying,
00:55:33.480 we're not going
00:55:33.920 to give you
00:55:34.320 an increase in
00:55:35.500 the credit card
00:55:36.140 limit when you
00:55:37.040 want to go out
00:55:37.560 there and borrow
00:55:37.980 $7 trillion
00:55:38.780 more money.
00:55:39.780 That's insanity.
00:55:40.840 And so
00:55:42.220 the Democrats
00:55:44.960 are saying,
00:55:45.840 the reason
00:55:46.320 we face a
00:55:47.220 financial crisis
00:55:47.880 is because
00:55:48.180 the Republicans
00:55:48.720 won't raise
00:55:49.320 the debt ceiling.
00:55:49.960 No,
00:55:50.280 the reason
00:55:50.800 we're facing
00:55:51.360 a debt crisis
00:55:52.460 is because
00:55:53.100 you morons
00:55:53.720 want to go
00:55:54.180 out and borrow
00:55:54.780 and borrow
00:55:55.160 and borrow
00:55:55.540 more money.
00:55:56.840 And so,
00:55:57.640 and one other
00:55:58.520 point about this,
00:55:59.160 because I've been,
00:55:59.740 again,
00:56:00.000 I've been in this
00:56:00.440 game a long time.
00:56:02.220 The reason
00:56:03.020 the debt ceiling
00:56:03.880 is important
00:56:04.720 and that
00:56:05.260 Hello?
00:56:08.120 Did we lose him?
00:56:09.560 Seems like we did.
00:56:10.380 We lost him.
00:56:10.840 Let me take a good
00:56:11.500 and get him back
00:56:12.000 on the phone.
00:56:12.440 We'll take a one
00:56:12.940 minute break here
00:56:13.560 real quick.
00:56:15.020 Get a Rectech,
00:56:16.200 they said.
00:56:16.700 It'll be fun,
00:56:17.660 they said.
00:56:18.060 It'll save you
00:56:18.580 hours of cooking
00:56:19.340 time with smart
00:56:20.180 grill technology
00:56:21.060 while making
00:56:21.540 perfect meals
00:56:22.740 for you,
00:56:23.380 they said.
00:56:24.580 Well,
00:56:24.900 they said a lot
00:56:25.920 and they were
00:56:27.020 right.
00:56:28.160 Rectech takes
00:56:28.860 the traditional
00:56:29.840 grilling game
00:56:30.620 that you've
00:56:31.000 always known
00:56:31.560 to an entirely
00:56:32.420 new level.
00:56:33.900 For quite some
00:56:35.000 time,
00:56:35.500 I have been
00:56:36.160 using a Rectech
00:56:37.440 and I'll tell
00:56:38.240 you,
00:56:38.420 it is the best
00:56:39.500 grill out
00:56:40.380 there.
00:56:41.040 Bar none.
00:56:41.900 I was in a store
00:56:42.560 buying a refrigerator
00:56:44.220 the other day
00:56:45.000 because a refrigerator,
00:56:46.800 you know,
00:56:47.180 it'll be delivered
00:56:48.040 in two weeks.
00:56:50.880 But anyway,
00:56:51.780 buying a refrigerator
00:56:52.500 and they had a bunch
00:56:53.780 of outdoor grills
00:56:54.800 and everything else.
00:56:55.440 I didn't find anything
00:56:56.940 there.
00:56:57.380 And these were
00:56:58.040 really good grills.
00:56:59.640 Didn't find anything
00:57:00.660 that would even
00:57:02.080 challenge the Rectech.
00:57:04.700 It's built to last.
00:57:06.100 It's made out of
00:57:06.640 heavy stainless steel.
00:57:08.100 It is built by guys
00:57:10.940 who take these
00:57:11.960 things on the road
00:57:13.040 and, you know,
00:57:14.780 do the cook
00:57:15.420 off championships.
00:57:17.980 So they know
00:57:18.840 what they're doing
00:57:19.420 and it has smart
00:57:20.300 grill technology.
00:57:21.200 It's just the best
00:57:22.640 AB compare
00:57:23.900 Rectech
00:57:25.020 R-E-C-T-E-Q
00:57:26.960 dot com.
00:57:27.920 That's Rectech
00:57:28.460 with a Q
00:57:28.940 at the end.
00:57:30.160 Rectech
00:57:30.700 dot com.
00:57:32.000 10 seconds.
00:57:32.620 Station ID.
00:57:33.180 We still don't
00:57:44.820 have him?
00:57:46.720 Oh my gosh.
00:57:49.620 They got to him.
00:57:50.280 It's Facebook.
00:57:51.080 Facebook got to him.
00:57:52.520 Facebook got to him.
00:57:53.440 That could be it.
00:57:54.380 It's an interesting
00:57:55.060 process to watch
00:57:56.020 because the Democrats
00:57:57.580 could do this.
00:57:58.580 Not only could they
00:57:59.200 do it,
00:57:59.660 they could have done
00:58:00.480 it a long time ago.
00:58:02.260 Just pass this
00:58:02.980 with 50 votes.
00:58:04.340 Yeah.
00:58:04.660 They're trying to
00:58:05.680 pressure Republicans
00:58:06.840 into going along
00:58:08.660 with their giant bills
00:58:09.780 and all the things
00:58:10.460 that they want.
00:58:11.180 Or past all those
00:58:12.300 windows now
00:58:12.940 because the Democrats
00:58:14.040 have done a terrible job
00:58:15.220 even though they run
00:58:16.480 every aspect
00:58:17.560 of this government.
00:58:18.860 And even though
00:58:20.580 that's true,
00:58:21.900 every news article
00:58:22.920 blames the Republicans
00:58:23.940 for blocking.
00:58:25.160 It's all,
00:58:26.340 oh, the Republicans
00:58:26.960 won't do this.
00:58:27.960 The Republicans
00:58:28.480 won't go along.
00:58:29.260 We're facing
00:58:29.600 financial catastrophe
00:58:31.040 and the Republicans
00:58:31.700 won't budge.
00:58:32.980 Well, they don't
00:58:34.000 have any power.
00:58:35.120 This is what
00:58:35.460 this is why
00:58:36.540 everybody needs
00:58:37.680 to get onto
00:58:38.240 Facebook and Twitter
00:58:39.520 and whatever your
00:58:40.440 social media is today
00:58:41.820 and just
00:58:43.120 and just post
00:58:44.420 what power
00:58:47.160 do the Republicans
00:58:48.380 have
00:58:49.080 to stop
00:58:50.480 the debt ceiling
00:58:51.600 from being
00:58:52.620 from being raised?
00:58:54.380 They have no power.
00:58:55.400 If the Democrats
00:58:56.020 want to do it,
00:58:57.520 they have to give up
00:58:59.000 their,
00:58:59.620 as Stephen Moore
00:59:00.160 called it,
00:59:00.700 $5 trillion
00:59:01.760 spending package,
00:59:03.400 but they can vote
00:59:04.580 to raise the debt ceiling.
00:59:06.100 They can also put it
00:59:06.820 in the $5 trillion
00:59:07.680 spending package.
00:59:08.940 I mean, in theory,
00:59:10.000 they could do that.
00:59:11.260 It could be in that bill.
00:59:12.620 It could have been
00:59:13.280 in the $1.9 trillion
00:59:14.520 bill they already
00:59:15.500 passed through
00:59:16.120 reconciliation.
00:59:16.600 They just didn't
00:59:17.480 put it in there.
00:59:18.200 And the traditional way
00:59:19.280 that this gets handled
00:59:20.280 is the power
00:59:22.420 the power
00:59:23.800 that is in
00:59:24.640 in the side
00:59:26.380 of whatever party
00:59:27.400 has power
00:59:28.360 at that point
00:59:29.040 usually passes
00:59:30.660 this bill
00:59:31.180 and has to take
00:59:31.920 the whatever hit
00:59:33.000 there is, right?
00:59:34.800 Associated with
00:59:35.720 saying you were
00:59:36.620 the ones that voted
00:59:37.440 for the debt ceiling.
00:59:38.360 You see it in every
00:59:39.100 political ads
00:59:39.840 every single season.
00:59:40.920 They voted to
00:59:41.900 raise the debt ceiling
00:59:43.420 12 times, right?
00:59:45.320 It's a little bit
00:59:46.200 of a back and forth.
00:59:47.020 Both sides do it
00:59:47.880 to each other.
00:59:48.820 It's been an understood
00:59:50.140 part of this game
00:59:51.800 for a very long time.
00:59:53.580 And Democrats
00:59:53.980 are just like,
00:59:54.380 well, now we want
00:59:55.060 you to do it for us.
00:59:56.520 Even though you're
00:59:57.280 in the minority,
00:59:57.820 we want you to
00:59:58.980 come along
01:00:00.080 and change the rules
01:00:01.220 so we can just
01:00:01.760 pass this
01:00:02.480 and have no problems.
01:00:04.220 No.
01:00:04.820 Well, no.
01:00:05.400 And again,
01:00:06.740 they could do this
01:00:07.780 themselves if they
01:00:08.880 just either
01:00:10.520 came to some
01:00:11.700 agreement on their
01:00:12.420 stupid bill
01:00:13.100 or just put it
01:00:15.620 through clean.
01:00:16.200 All right.
01:00:16.560 We have Stephen Moore
01:00:17.360 back.
01:00:17.860 Hi, Stephen.
01:00:19.420 Hey, sorry about that.
01:00:20.320 I think that Nancy
01:00:21.020 Pelosi disconnected us.
01:00:22.140 Yeah.
01:00:22.480 Okay.
01:00:23.020 All right.
01:00:23.800 All right.
01:00:24.240 So we were
01:00:25.320 talking about
01:00:27.420 the spending bill
01:00:30.880 and the debt.
01:00:32.520 What does this
01:00:33.340 actually look like
01:00:36.320 if we don't
01:00:37.840 raise the debt ceiling?
01:00:38.940 What happens?
01:00:40.960 Well, let's just
01:00:42.040 imagine that we
01:00:42.800 didn't raise the debt
01:00:43.540 ceiling before the
01:00:44.260 limit happened.
01:00:45.180 It is not true.
01:00:46.900 It is not true
01:00:47.980 that we would
01:00:48.500 default on our debt.
01:00:49.340 Okay.
01:00:50.140 I want to say that
01:00:50.640 one more time,
01:00:51.240 folks, because you
01:00:51.800 keep hearing the
01:00:52.540 slide.
01:00:53.060 We will not
01:00:54.120 default on our
01:00:54.800 debts.
01:00:55.400 What it means,
01:00:56.420 Glenn, let's assume
01:00:57.420 like, let's say
01:00:58.840 after October 31st,
01:01:00.340 we run out of
01:01:01.400 debt ceiling.
01:01:03.000 And what it means
01:01:04.320 then is the
01:01:05.000 government is
01:01:05.680 legally prohibited
01:01:07.260 from borrowing
01:01:08.200 any more money.
01:01:09.420 Now, money comes
01:01:10.520 in every day,
01:01:12.420 you know, payroll
01:01:12.920 tax money, income
01:01:13.780 tax money to the
01:01:14.700 federal government.
01:01:15.780 What it essentially
01:01:16.520 would mean is the
01:01:17.600 government can only
01:01:18.520 spend what it
01:01:19.380 brings in.
01:01:20.100 What a concept,
01:01:20.840 by the way.
01:01:23.080 So they can't
01:01:24.680 borrow, but they
01:01:25.520 can spend as the
01:01:26.780 tax dollars come
01:01:27.660 in.
01:01:28.180 And so that would
01:01:28.980 mean that we
01:01:30.240 could pay Social
01:01:30.840 Security, we
01:01:31.580 could pay, you
01:01:32.520 know, for Medicare,
01:01:33.240 we could pay for
01:01:33.780 the national defense,
01:01:34.800 but we'd have to
01:01:35.500 prioritize saying,
01:01:36.340 you know what,
01:01:37.480 Department of
01:01:37.860 Education, you're
01:01:38.440 going to have to
01:01:38.720 shut down for a
01:01:39.640 few weeks.
01:01:40.160 Would that be a
01:01:40.760 disaster?
01:01:42.300 You know, Department
01:01:42.900 of Labor, you're
01:01:43.740 going to have to,
01:01:44.260 you know, shut down.
01:01:45.860 No more foreign aid
01:01:46.900 for a while.
01:01:47.960 Gosh, I think this
01:01:48.860 sounds like a dream
01:01:49.540 come true.
01:01:51.520 Exactly.
01:01:52.280 So, you know, you
01:01:53.240 want a balanced
01:01:53.800 budget?
01:01:54.520 I know how we can
01:01:55.220 get a balanced
01:01:55.660 budget.
01:01:56.180 Don't raise the
01:01:56.780 debt ceiling.
01:01:57.620 It legally requires
01:01:59.100 it.
01:01:59.360 Now, look, would I
01:02:00.180 recommend that?
01:02:00.940 No.
01:02:01.260 But I'm saying it's
01:02:02.040 not the end of the
01:02:02.680 world.
01:02:02.880 Do you notice how
01:02:03.500 every time, everything
01:02:05.200 is always the end of
01:02:06.100 the world?
01:02:06.580 Yes.
01:02:06.940 Oh, my God, we're
01:02:07.660 going to.
01:02:08.040 Now, what is the end
01:02:09.120 of the world or what
01:02:10.080 is extraordinarily
01:02:10.740 dangerous is the
01:02:12.120 idea we keep staying
01:02:13.580 on this path we're on
01:02:14.960 and borrowing and
01:02:15.640 borrowing and borrowing.
01:02:16.300 Now, the one thing
01:02:18.400 that Joe Biden said
01:02:19.300 that is true is both
01:02:21.280 parties are responsible
01:02:22.340 for this debt.
01:02:23.100 No question about it.
01:02:24.120 Both parties are
01:02:24.880 responsible.
01:02:25.680 But they're taking a
01:02:26.660 debt that's $22
01:02:27.480 trillion and they want
01:02:28.640 to raise it by another
01:02:29.580 $10, $15 trillion.
01:02:30.980 And I think the
01:02:31.580 Republicans should say,
01:02:32.520 hell no, you broke
01:02:34.040 it.
01:02:34.500 You're the ones who
01:02:35.280 want this massive
01:02:35.980 spending bill.
01:02:37.040 We're against it.
01:02:38.280 By the way, the
01:02:38.740 Republicans have not
01:02:39.660 been even included in
01:02:40.720 any negotiations.
01:02:42.140 The Democrats haven't
01:02:42.960 even talked to the
01:02:43.880 Republicans in nine
01:02:44.780 months.
01:02:45.060 Now they come to
01:02:46.120 them and say, oh, but
01:02:47.660 you have to vote for
01:02:48.380 the debt ceiling
01:02:48.900 increase.
01:02:49.720 No, I don't.
01:02:50.780 I think Mitch McConnell
01:02:51.640 is absolutely right
01:02:52.580 here.
01:02:53.240 So are we going to
01:02:54.480 stand against it or
01:02:55.580 will the Republicans
01:02:56.800 blink?
01:02:58.320 No, what's going to
01:02:58.960 have to happen is, and
01:03:00.700 McConnell is, this is
01:03:02.580 the other part of the
01:03:03.420 story that the media
01:03:05.120 refutes.
01:03:05.840 The New York Times
01:03:06.400 had a big front page
01:03:07.260 story on the Washington
01:03:08.040 Post about this thing.
01:03:09.080 Oh, Republicans are
01:03:09.940 going to bring the
01:03:10.380 government to the
01:03:11.040 brink of disaster.
01:03:11.840 No, what happens is
01:03:13.480 Mitch McConnell
01:03:14.180 is saying, you have
01:03:15.500 the votes to raise
01:03:16.940 the debt ceiling, but
01:03:18.100 you're not going to
01:03:18.560 get any Republican
01:03:19.340 votes.
01:03:19.680 You see, what the
01:03:20.200 Democrats want to do
01:03:21.180 is have everybody
01:03:22.340 hold hands, stand on
01:03:23.460 a cliff, and jump
01:03:24.180 off together.
01:03:24.940 No way.
01:03:25.640 Yeah, good.
01:03:27.020 Stephen, I don't
01:03:27.780 know if you can hold
01:03:28.820 on, but I'd like to
01:03:29.860 spend some more time
01:03:30.920 with you if you have
01:03:31.740 time.
01:03:32.060 Back in just a
01:03:32.900 minute.
01:03:33.060 All right, if
01:03:40.420 you're over 50, it's
01:03:41.380 time to start
01:03:41.900 considering what
01:03:42.580 benefits you're going
01:03:44.080 to join, or if
01:03:45.380 you've already joined
01:03:46.200 one, it might be time
01:03:47.320 to rethink and
01:03:48.320 consider joining a
01:03:49.300 different one.
01:03:50.380 Don't worry, I'm not
01:03:51.220 going to leave you
01:03:51.640 hanging.
01:03:52.260 I have one in mind.
01:03:53.280 It's called AMAC,
01:03:54.500 the Association of
01:03:55.440 Mature American
01:03:56.160 Citizens.
01:03:57.300 The group is now
01:03:58.080 over 2 million
01:03:59.120 members, strong and
01:04:00.320 growing, and the
01:04:01.000 benefits are amazing.
01:04:02.120 Insurance, discounts,
01:04:03.580 travel benefits, all
01:04:04.700 of that.
01:04:05.440 But more important is
01:04:06.480 their advocacy.
01:04:08.020 AMAC provides
01:04:08.720 everything you're
01:04:09.740 looking for, but
01:04:10.520 goes above and
01:04:11.240 beyond to provide a
01:04:12.560 whole lot more in
01:04:13.760 advocacy for you in
01:04:14.920 Washington because
01:04:15.780 your freedom is
01:04:16.880 important.
01:04:17.720 Their freedom is
01:04:18.600 important.
01:04:19.740 AMAC members played
01:04:20.640 a significant role in
01:04:21.680 stopping the passage of
01:04:22.580 House Resolution 1,
01:04:23.780 the federal takeover
01:04:24.900 for the election
01:04:26.180 legislation.
01:04:27.200 That's from Pelosi.
01:04:28.340 They're doing the
01:04:28.840 same now with
01:04:29.480 Resolution 4, another
01:04:31.220 terrible bill.
01:04:32.120 trying to establish
01:04:33.580 federal control of
01:04:34.540 elections again.
01:04:36.480 We have to have a
01:04:38.500 group where we can
01:04:39.280 all stand together and
01:04:40.680 let our voices be
01:04:42.160 heard en masse.
01:04:44.040 AMAC is that group.
01:04:45.900 AMAC.US.BECK.
01:04:49.000 AMAC.US.BECK.
01:04:51.820 Join them now.
01:04:52.540 Head over to
01:04:55.320 blazetv.com slash
01:04:56.720 Glenn.
01:04:57.400 Conservative media is
01:04:58.460 being censored.
01:04:59.600 You need an outlet.
01:05:00.560 blazetv.com slash Glenn.
01:05:02.140 Promo code is Glenn.
01:05:03.200 Steven Moore joins us again.
01:05:15.900 Renowned economist and also the
01:05:19.860 senior economic contributor to
01:05:21.560 FreedomWorks and co-founder of
01:05:23.200 Committee to Unleash
01:05:24.140 Prosperity.
01:05:25.800 Steven, you know me.
01:05:28.460 I have been, you know, calling
01:05:31.520 for doomsday for a very long
01:05:32.920 time and, and, and, you
01:05:38.120 know, I, I generally my
01:05:39.520 predictions are in the right
01:05:40.840 direction, but they, you
01:05:44.720 know, my timing is, is all
01:05:46.560 off and they have broken all
01:05:49.260 of the fundamentals to try to
01:05:50.860 make anything, you know, try to
01:05:53.700 make everything good.
01:05:54.400 And I think they're just
01:05:55.160 making it worse and worse as
01:05:56.640 we go on.
01:05:58.320 I, I, I, let's first talk
01:06:01.760 about the shelves that are
01:06:04.480 going to be empty next year.
01:06:06.660 What is the impact to the
01:06:08.220 American people?
01:06:10.080 Well, you know, it's, it's
01:06:11.180 interesting, Glenn, because
01:06:12.200 during that break, during the
01:06:13.460 break, we just took, I got an
01:06:16.780 email from one of my, one of my
01:06:19.500 guys, and it says that in
01:06:22.840 China, in India, because of
01:06:25.800 energy problems, supply
01:06:27.680 problems, what we were just
01:06:28.520 talking about, guess what,
01:06:30.460 what energy source, China and
01:06:33.720 India, which I think combined
01:06:34.940 to have 2.5 billion people,
01:06:37.260 guess what they're turning to?
01:06:39.600 I would say, it would, I hope
01:06:41.640 that it would be clean energy
01:06:43.020 like nuclear, but it's probably
01:06:44.460 coal.
01:06:45.660 Coal.
01:06:46.400 Yeah.
01:06:47.020 It's not, it ain't, it ain't
01:06:48.620 windmills, it ain't solar
01:06:50.000 panels.
01:06:50.660 Right.
01:06:50.860 It's coal and they're
01:06:52.640 turning to coal because we've
01:06:54.060 turned off the spigots of
01:06:55.120 natural gas and, and, and oil.
01:06:57.580 And by the way, I, I support
01:06:59.260 coal.
01:06:59.760 Coal is, this country was built
01:07:01.140 on coal and we have the
01:07:02.420 cleanest coal in the world, in
01:07:03.900 the United States, and we're
01:07:05.160 not producing it.
01:07:06.080 So now they're, they're
01:07:06.800 producing dirty coal in, in
01:07:08.740 India and China has 1,000 coal
01:07:12.420 burning plants and they're
01:07:13.700 building hundreds more.
01:07:15.180 Do you think they care about
01:07:16.220 climate change?
01:07:17.700 Well, President Xi just came
01:07:19.500 out and said he did.
01:07:20.500 That's one of the reasons why
01:07:21.560 they stopped Bitcoin is because
01:07:23.520 we have to take these people
01:07:24.760 for their, for their
01:07:25.920 absolutely, absolutely.
01:07:28.160 It's like, it's like, it's
01:07:29.040 like believing Bresnav, right?
01:07:30.420 Yeah.
01:07:30.660 We believe you.
01:07:31.560 So my point is that we, that
01:07:34.700 the left lives in this fantasy
01:07:36.640 world that they believe, you
01:07:38.840 know, we, we are realists.
01:07:40.460 They are fantasists.
01:07:41.720 They, they see the world as
01:07:42.840 they want it to be, not as it
01:07:44.200 is.
01:07:44.700 And so we do have these supply
01:07:46.440 side problems with respect to
01:07:48.980 the, to the, the blockchain and
01:07:52.400 it's getting worse.
01:07:53.380 And it's because we are
01:07:55.100 dismantling our free market
01:07:57.620 economy and we're depending more
01:07:59.580 and more on government.
01:08:00.780 I'll give you another example
01:08:01.940 of something I worry about, the
01:08:03.120 supply of our drugs and
01:08:04.200 vaccines.
01:08:05.000 Yes.
01:08:05.300 We've got the, the, basically
01:08:07.100 Biden wants to take over the,
01:08:09.800 the drug industry in the United
01:08:12.060 States.
01:08:12.700 And we're going to run out of
01:08:14.140 this stuff if they do that.
01:08:17.080 Steven, a lot of people aren't
01:08:19.020 paying attention to the cars.
01:08:21.460 Everybody's like, oh man, you
01:08:22.600 know, the new electric cars are
01:08:23.880 coming and it's all going to be
01:08:25.240 electric by 2030.
01:08:26.220 Yeah, it is literally all going
01:08:29.040 to be, Ferrari will be making
01:08:31.000 all electric cars, no more
01:08:32.860 conduct combustion engines by
01:08:34.440 2030.
01:08:36.020 All of the car companies are
01:08:37.560 going to this.
01:08:39.620 Where's all that power?
01:08:41.220 Glenn, let me interrupt you for
01:08:43.060 one second.
01:08:43.500 Yeah.
01:08:43.760 You know what percentage of cars
01:08:45.060 on the road today are electric
01:08:46.260 vehicles?
01:08:47.700 Three percent.
01:08:49.540 Yeah, you're too, way too high.
01:08:50.780 About 1.8%.
01:08:52.320 1.8%.
01:08:54.480 Does anybody in the right mind
01:08:55.960 other than Joe Biden think that
01:08:57.380 over the next, you know, 15
01:08:58.600 years, we're going to go from
01:08:59.560 one and a half percent to even
01:09:01.920 50 or 70%?
01:09:03.480 All of the, all of the new cars
01:09:06.300 though, every single company has
01:09:09.380 a commitment to be all electric by
01:09:11.800 2030.
01:09:13.200 It's crazy.
01:09:13.700 You know what, Glenn?
01:09:14.840 You know what?
01:09:15.520 Guess who they forgot to ask?
01:09:17.900 Yeah, the people.
01:09:19.060 Yes.
01:09:19.620 The people, right?
01:09:20.780 Look, I don't, I don't have
01:09:22.060 anything against Teslas.
01:09:23.040 I've driven the Tesla.
01:09:24.200 They're wonderful vehicles.
01:09:25.500 I just don't want the government
01:09:26.360 to pay for them.
01:09:27.600 We've got a policy.
01:09:29.380 You can't make this stuff up.
01:09:31.480 The government is in this, in
01:09:33.240 this $5 trillion spending bill
01:09:35.220 going to provide, pay $7,500 to
01:09:38.780 you if you buy an electric car.
01:09:40.400 Where's that money going to come
01:09:41.520 from?
01:09:41.860 And by the way, who buys Teslas?
01:09:43.560 You think poor people living in
01:09:44.860 the inner city buy $100,000 Teslas?
01:09:47.380 This is the biggest giveaway to
01:09:48.760 rich people ever.
01:09:49.620 Sure.
01:09:51.940 So what are we facing with
01:09:54.400 inflation?
01:09:55.600 What is inflation going to be
01:09:57.140 like?
01:09:59.320 Well, it depends.
01:10:00.440 It depends on the decisions that
01:10:02.480 we, the reason I was so eager to
01:10:03.980 do your show today, because I know
01:10:05.160 you have such a well-informed and a
01:10:07.440 large audience.
01:10:08.600 Folks, this is not a fire drill,
01:10:10.520 right?
01:10:11.120 We're not making this stuff up.
01:10:12.640 These people, watering Washington
01:10:14.280 right now, are cuckoo for
01:10:16.680 cocoa puffs.
01:10:17.300 I mean, they really want to
01:10:18.740 transform America.
01:10:19.980 I mean, Biden said that.
01:10:20.780 He said, we're going to pass this
01:10:21.960 bill because we want to transform
01:10:23.160 America.
01:10:23.760 Well, Glenn, I kind of like America
01:10:25.280 the way it is right now.
01:10:26.560 I don't want to move us towards
01:10:27.740 France and Spain and Italy.
01:10:29.540 They want to move us towards a
01:10:31.020 social, big government, socialist
01:10:32.560 economy.
01:10:33.520 We have to stop them.
01:10:35.200 I'm running a coalition called
01:10:36.580 Save the Country, Kill the
01:10:39.240 Bill with Larry Kudlow and many
01:10:41.500 others who want to save this
01:10:42.960 country from socialism.
01:10:44.520 If we, Glenn, here's the problem.
01:10:45.800 If they pass this $5 trillion
01:10:47.440 spending bill for the rest of
01:10:49.520 your and my careers, we're going
01:10:52.260 to spend every day trying to
01:10:54.420 undo the damage they're doing.
01:10:58.380 In what areas?
01:11:01.160 Trying to deal with the debt,
01:11:02.700 trying to deal with the massive
01:11:03.800 government takeover of the
01:11:04.800 health care system, the massive
01:11:06.500 increases in taxes that are on
01:11:08.980 our businesses and American
01:11:10.940 companies dealing with they want
01:11:13.080 to reverse, they want to have
01:11:14.420 forced union policies in every
01:11:16.340 state.
01:11:16.840 I don't have a problem with
01:11:18.240 unions, but I do have a problem
01:11:19.420 forcing people to join a union.
01:11:21.200 I mean, I think how much time
01:11:22.260 you got, Glenn?
01:11:22.740 I mean, I could talk for a half an
01:11:24.040 hour about how sinister this
01:11:26.100 bill is.
01:11:27.140 It's filled with pork.
01:11:28.460 Did you know they have a they have
01:11:30.200 a provision in this bill that if
01:11:31.420 you're a reporter, you don't have
01:11:34.160 to pay payroll tax.
01:11:35.120 If you're in the media, they want
01:11:36.300 to get exempt the payroll tax.
01:11:37.920 And they also want to exempt union
01:11:40.220 dues.
01:11:40.580 They want to make those tax
01:11:41.560 deductible.
01:11:42.060 So they want to give a big
01:11:43.280 sweetheart kiss to the unions and
01:11:45.300 the media.
01:11:45.840 Gee, why do you think they'd want
01:11:46.960 to do those two groups?
01:11:48.120 Oh, yeah.
01:11:48.520 They're the ones who made the
01:11:49.460 election possible.
01:11:50.360 Unbelievable.
01:11:50.960 This is just graft.
01:11:52.040 It's graft.
01:11:53.820 UPS, the USPS, I should say, is
01:11:57.160 launching a banking service.
01:12:02.640 That's a great job.
01:12:04.120 I know.
01:12:05.060 I know.
01:12:05.580 They want the United States
01:12:09.140 Postal Service now to be a place
01:12:12.120 where you can cash your payroll
01:12:13.880 check or your business checks and
01:12:16.680 you can keep money on deposit with
01:12:19.140 the US Postal Service.
01:12:21.580 This goes right hand in hand with
01:12:23.980 what's her name?
01:12:26.180 Saul Amarova.
01:12:27.920 Right.
01:12:28.760 I was just going to mention that.
01:12:30.020 Yes.
01:12:30.560 Yes.
01:12:30.960 Tell people about her.
01:12:32.420 She's the one who went to Moscow
01:12:33.840 State University.
01:12:35.180 Right.
01:12:35.680 Right.
01:12:36.360 And born under the Soviet Union.
01:12:39.680 Yeah.
01:12:40.080 I mean, we, you know, sometimes
01:12:41.980 say, you know, the leftists are
01:12:44.900 socialists.
01:12:45.680 This woman isn't a socialist.
01:12:47.720 She's a communist.
01:12:49.400 She prays.
01:12:50.980 She wants the government.
01:12:52.660 Folks, we're not making this up.
01:12:53.960 She wants the government to take
01:12:55.940 over the banking industry in
01:12:57.520 America.
01:12:58.120 And she wants the government to
01:12:59.580 take over the financial industry
01:13:01.960 industry in America.
01:13:03.620 And so the politicians are going
01:13:05.060 to make all the decisions about,
01:13:06.460 you know, who can get a loan.
01:13:07.860 And did you see, by the way, in
01:13:09.020 this bill, this horrible bill, if
01:13:11.100 you have a financial transaction of
01:13:13.400 more than $600.
01:13:15.080 They change it to a thousand.
01:13:16.740 Change it to a thousand.
01:13:17.880 Oh, OK.
01:13:18.520 I'm a little behind.
01:13:19.400 There's a thousand or ten thousand.
01:13:20.660 Ten thousand.
01:13:21.380 They moved it to.
01:13:22.040 That's like your pay.
01:13:22.900 That's most people's paychecks,
01:13:24.260 for goodness sake.
01:13:24.880 Your mortgage payment.
01:13:26.140 This is why they want to hire
01:13:28.540 75,000 new IRS agents.
01:13:31.080 Correct.
01:13:31.360 So they can keep track of
01:13:32.480 everything we're doing.
01:13:33.760 And by the way, who do you think
01:13:34.980 they're going to be tracking?
01:13:36.220 Do you think they're going to be
01:13:36.900 tracking liberal Democratic voters?
01:13:39.020 No.
01:13:39.340 Remember the name Lois Lerner?
01:13:41.880 Remember her?
01:13:42.500 Yep.
01:13:43.720 She was the one who
01:13:44.900 weaponized the IRS under Obama.
01:13:48.080 What did she do?
01:13:49.080 She went after any conservative
01:13:50.900 group or any conservative donor.
01:13:53.540 That's what, imagine what they
01:13:54.940 can do with 75,000 new agents.
01:13:58.840 So where is your ray of sunshine
01:14:03.460 that you usually leave me with?
01:14:06.800 Because I think the American people
01:14:08.280 are revolting against this.
01:14:09.500 I just see it every day that
01:14:11.080 nobody voted for this.
01:14:12.780 Do you think people went to the
01:14:13.780 polls in November and the people
01:14:17.660 who voted for Biden did so because
01:14:20.640 they wanted $10 trillion of new
01:14:22.560 spending and debt?
01:14:23.480 No.
01:14:23.740 I don't recall that.
01:14:25.360 I mean, so there's no mandate for
01:14:27.760 this.
01:14:28.800 You know, Biden says, oh, we're
01:14:30.940 going to be like FDR.
01:14:32.120 We're going to, you know, have a
01:14:33.360 new, new deal.
01:14:34.500 And when FDR won, he won the
01:14:35.820 biggest landslide election in
01:14:37.320 American history.
01:14:38.420 Right.
01:14:39.080 He had a mandate.
01:14:40.420 This this president, some people
01:14:42.060 don't even think he won the
01:14:42.980 election.
01:14:43.240 I don't know if he did or didn't.
01:14:44.280 But the point is, it was a
01:14:45.220 razor thin margin.
01:14:46.480 The Democrats have 50 senators out
01:14:48.860 of 100 and they have a four
01:14:50.680 seat majority out of 435 in the
01:14:53.100 House.
01:14:53.580 There's no voter man.
01:14:54.800 There's no mandate from the
01:14:56.040 people to do this.
01:14:57.200 The American people don't want
01:14:58.260 it.
01:14:58.480 I think we're going to rise up and
01:14:59.720 we're going to defeat this.
01:15:00.600 I really do.
01:15:01.960 All right.
01:15:02.080 Give me the web address where
01:15:03.440 people can join your efforts.
01:15:05.540 Well, the best thing to do is just
01:15:08.200 get our daily hotline.
01:15:09.360 I hope you get it, Glenn.
01:15:10.260 If you don't, you know, please
01:15:11.420 get in touch with me.
01:15:12.760 But it's we put out a daily
01:15:14.180 hotline every day.
01:15:15.040 You can read it five minutes.
01:15:16.340 It just has the five or six
01:15:17.660 bullet points and the talking
01:15:18.780 points every day about what's
01:15:19.980 going on with this bill.
01:15:21.140 Just go to the committee to
01:15:22.480 unleash prosperity dot com and
01:15:25.660 sign up.
01:15:26.540 And by the way, I'm not selling
01:15:27.600 you anything.
01:15:28.620 Unlike Joe Biden, I'm telling you
01:15:29.940 the truth.
01:15:30.320 It's free.
01:15:30.840 It doesn't cost anything.
01:15:32.200 Sign up for that.
01:15:33.400 OK, I will sign up for it.
01:15:34.800 I didn't know about it.
01:15:35.880 I will sign up for it.
01:15:36.780 Thank you so much, Stephen.
01:15:37.680 Appreciate it.
01:15:38.420 OK, Glenn.
01:15:39.060 You bet.
01:15:39.420 Co-founder of Committee to
01:15:40.760 Unleash Prosperity, Stephen
01:15:42.260 Moore.
01:15:42.880 Again, the website is
01:15:44.100 committee to unleash
01:15:45.380 prosperity dot com.
01:15:49.700 So anybody else besides me,
01:15:52.720 are you noticing that shelves
01:15:55.560 are starting to empty out?
01:15:57.480 Have you been able to find
01:15:58.600 everything that you wanted,
01:15:59.640 even in the grocery store?
01:16:01.820 I've seen pictures of our
01:16:05.020 grocery stores now that I
01:16:06.080 haven't seen since we were
01:16:07.300 showing pictures of the former
01:16:08.380 Soviet Union.
01:16:10.120 It's crazy.
01:16:11.500 It is truly crazy.
01:16:12.940 It was that famous story of
01:16:13.880 one of the leaders and the
01:16:15.760 Soviet Union coming across
01:16:16.980 and and being blown away.
01:16:19.740 Was it Gorbachev that came
01:16:20.880 across before he was leading
01:16:22.620 and he went to a grocery
01:16:24.340 store and was just like maybe
01:16:25.420 it was Yeltsin.
01:16:25.940 I can't remember.
01:16:26.340 It was one of the two and
01:16:27.140 just blown away by all the
01:16:28.420 stuff that was on the shelves
01:16:29.780 and helped make them
01:16:31.340 transform the economy
01:16:33.200 or at least attempt it.
01:16:34.440 It's a it's an amazing
01:16:35.720 thing.
01:16:36.380 You know, when you have a
01:16:37.840 centrally controlled government,
01:16:39.360 that's that is exactly what
01:16:41.460 happens.
01:16:41.800 And this is where we're going.
01:16:44.160 Be prepared.
01:16:45.320 Please be prepared.

01:17:21.300 That's prepare with Glenn dot com.
01:17:26.960 So Hunter Biden had a showing of
01:17:33.180 his art.
01:17:34.180 Yeah.
01:17:34.680 In Hollywood loves it.
01:17:36.700 This guy is off the air.
01:17:37.900 He's been raving about what an
01:17:39.380 incredible artist Hunter Biden
01:17:40.880 is.
01:17:41.640 Yeah.
01:17:43.580 No.
01:17:45.280 Well, well, first of all, let me
01:17:47.440 just say this.
01:17:48.180 It's not his art.
01:17:50.140 It's not his art.
01:17:51.120 He's a crackhead.
01:17:51.900 It's not his art.
01:17:52.780 Wait, do you know this for a fact
01:17:54.020 or you just.
01:17:54.640 No, I'm just speculating.
01:17:56.260 Not his art.
01:17:57.880 First of all, crackheads can't
01:17:59.820 spend that much time putting all
01:18:01.740 those little dots in a row.
01:18:03.920 It would take a long time
01:18:06.160 to to do this.
01:18:09.320 But it does look like professional
01:18:11.440 level art, would you say?
01:18:12.800 Oh, yeah.
01:18:13.760 Yeah.
01:18:14.080 Oh, I think some of it.
01:18:15.080 I mean, some of his crappy, but
01:18:16.580 he's got one of a bluebird or
01:18:19.220 something.
01:18:19.540 And it is.
01:18:20.440 It's spectacular.
01:18:21.800 It is really beautiful.
01:18:23.280 No way he did that.
01:18:25.220 No way.
01:18:26.400 That is a pretty good scam, though.
01:18:28.500 Right.
01:18:28.780 You hire a good artist.
01:18:30.800 Yeah.
01:18:31.180 And then you have a celebrity name.
01:18:33.000 Yeah.
01:18:33.240 You kind of just attach it.
01:18:35.060 Yeah.
01:18:35.420 And that would be what I like to
01:18:37.080 call unethical.
01:18:38.640 And I know Hunter's very
01:18:40.540 concerned about his ethical
01:18:41.960 art production.
01:18:43.080 Yeah.
01:18:43.400 Well, if you're saying this is
01:18:46.620 better than his usual scams.
01:18:48.620 Yeah.
01:18:48.920 Like, I can't speak any Ukrainian,
01:18:51.880 but I'm going to be on the board
01:18:53.320 of directors of and I have no
01:18:55.760 experience in oil and gas.
01:18:57.760 Right.
01:18:58.080 That's what I'm going to be
01:18:59.700 speaking about in English.
01:19:01.780 Yeah.
01:19:02.540 It's better than impregnating
01:19:04.780 random strippers all throughout
01:19:07.060 the southeast of the country.
01:19:08.260 He's just seeing the little bits
01:19:10.380 of him.
01:19:11.760 He just seems like an artist
01:19:13.720 at heart, doesn't he?
01:19:15.300 He does.
01:19:16.060 He does.
01:19:16.220 He does.
01:19:17.060 Well, I mean, look, there are
01:19:18.200 crazy, you know, artists are
01:19:20.380 known to be nuts.
01:19:22.260 Yes.
01:19:22.760 Yes.
01:19:23.480 Now, this doesn't explain any of
01:19:24.760 his previous corruption, but
01:19:26.600 what if these are his?
01:19:27.540 Are you going to would you give
01:19:28.460 him credit?
01:19:28.920 Would you buy one if he?
01:19:30.280 No, I would not buy one.
01:19:31.520 But if he actually if you could
01:19:33.720 show me that he actually did
01:19:35.280 these, I would have to say
01:19:37.060 it based on just this one
01:19:39.420 painting of the bird.
01:19:40.540 Yeah, I'd have to say
01:19:42.560 good job.
01:19:44.060 Really nice.
01:19:45.220 Nice.
01:19:46.340 Some of his others, I think,
01:19:47.500 are crap.
01:19:48.060 I don't like them.
01:19:50.000 But none of them look like
01:19:51.440 crap, crap.
01:19:53.160 Nice.
01:19:54.420 Nice.
01:19:55.200 Two of them are nice out of
01:19:56.140 the five that I've seen.
01:19:57.140 I will say, like, if I tried
01:19:58.480 to have an art show, it would
01:19:59.740 be terrible, right?
01:20:01.060 Terrible.
01:20:01.600 And what what Joe, what
01:20:03.400 I expected Hunter Biden,
01:20:05.480 his efforts to actually be,
01:20:07.280 I kind of expected them to
01:20:08.560 look amateurish.
01:20:10.540 And those, I mean, I'm not
01:20:12.560 a big, I mean, I'm not, I'm
01:20:14.260 not, I am not.
01:20:14.840 Some of them look amateurish.
01:20:16.500 They do.
01:20:17.500 This does not.
01:20:18.840 The birds do not.
01:20:20.640 But that makes me think
01:20:21.540 maybe they're real.
01:20:22.480 Like maybe he, maybe he had a
01:20:24.220 couple of bad ones and a
01:20:25.200 couple of good ones.
01:20:26.040 And maybe, maybe, maybe,
01:20:29.100 maybe, you know, it's still
01:20:30.780 a scam.
01:20:31.820 Oh, it's definitely a scam.
01:20:32.980 I don't think there's any.
01:20:33.480 It's still a scam.
01:20:34.160 There's, I mean.
01:20:35.340 Allegedly.
01:20:35.760 Art is just the easiest way
01:20:37.320 to launder money.
01:20:38.580 It is.
01:20:40.220 It is.
01:20:40.680 It's all in a.
01:20:41.700 Yeah.
01:20:41.960 It's all in the eye of the
01:20:42.960 beholder.
01:20:43.420 What is it worth?
01:20:44.240 Whatever somebody will pay
01:20:45.280 for it.
01:20:46.260 So, I mean, did you hear
01:20:47.360 about the art, the artist in
01:20:49.580 where was it?
01:20:50.180 Denmark that sold.
01:20:52.240 They said, do anything.
01:20:53.200 We just wanted to make a
01:20:54.400 statement to a gallery.
01:20:56.480 And I don't know how many
01:20:57.740 millions he sold his
01:20:59.600 commission for.
01:21:00.980 but he, he delivered two
01:21:04.100 paintings exactly as the
01:21:05.820 contract required and very
01:21:09.240 controversial.
01:21:09.820 They were blank canvases.
01:21:14.220 And it was called Take the
01:21:15.480 Money and Run, I believe.
01:21:16.740 Yes.
01:21:17.000 It was actually the name of
01:21:18.060 the painting.
01:21:18.580 Yeah.
01:21:19.440 Which is, he did the job, I
01:21:21.880 guess, right?
01:21:22.580 Right.
01:21:23.000 That's art.
01:21:23.460 He did the job.
01:21:23.860 That's art.
01:21:24.520 Now are you going to, what
01:21:25.560 are you going to do?
01:21:26.800 That's art.
01:21:27.780 That's art.
01:21:28.200 What they were going to do
01:21:29.300 is to make sure he gave
01:21:30.780 the money back.
01:21:32.140 I'm sure they are.
01:21:34.340 But, you know, you want to
01:21:36.560 launder money, that would be
01:21:38.260 the way to do it.
01:21:39.300 You want to get money for
01:21:41.200 your dad or for you, just
01:21:44.260 have somebody paint some
01:21:45.340 paintings for you.
01:21:46.360 I mean, if he did them, I
01:21:48.260 stand corrected and willing
01:21:49.420 to say he's a great artist,
01:21:51.400 at least based on these two.
01:21:53.720 But, yeah, I don't think so.
01:21:56.080 I don't think so.
01:21:56.820 Money Laundering Scheme.
01:21:58.980 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:22:01.020 There are many things that we
01:22:02.740 have to do to save our
01:22:05.800 society, and one of those
01:22:07.520 things is return to the
01:22:10.140 things that have eternal
01:22:11.420 truths, the scriptures, the
01:22:13.340 covenant, to return to the
01:22:16.200 Old Testament and the New
01:22:17.700 Testament.
01:22:18.660 Right now, good friend of mine,
01:22:20.500 Andrew Klavan, he's an
01:22:22.140 amazing screenwriter.
01:22:23.140 I think he's been nominated
01:22:24.700 for an Oscar for that.
01:22:25.780 But he has, he is writing
01:22:29.500 now something called the
01:22:30.720 covenant.
01:22:31.280 It's a multi-seasons TV
01:22:33.180 series adaptation of the
01:22:34.440 stories of the Old
01:22:35.120 Testament, and it will use
01:22:37.100 biblical and historic text
01:22:39.400 to lead viewers through the
01:22:41.120 stories, the patriarch, the
01:22:42.420 prophets, the saints, the
01:22:43.580 sinners, the conquerors, the
01:22:44.680 kings.
01:22:45.020 And it will show God's
01:22:47.460 connection back then and God's
01:22:49.680 connection to humanity today.
01:22:52.540 They're looking for people who
01:22:53.920 would like to invest in this.
01:22:56.420 If you would like to invest in
01:22:58.360 this project, go to kotv.com
01:23:02.360 slash Beck.
01:23:03.360 That's C-A-Y-O-T-V dot com slash
01:23:08.000 Beck.
01:23:08.780 Invest in the covenant.
01:23:11.180 It's K-O-T-V dot com slash Beck.
01:23:15.420 Do it now.
01:23:16.060 What you are about to hear is the
01:23:41.520 fusion of entertainment and
01:23:43.980 enlightenment.
01:23:46.220 This is the Glenn Beck program.
01:23:53.780 The United States government is
01:23:55.960 sending the people a very clear
01:23:58.320 message.
01:23:59.220 Don't get out of line.
01:24:01.240 Don't protest.
01:24:03.060 Don't come to our school board
01:24:05.640 meetings and speak your mind.
01:24:08.360 You play by our rules or we'll
01:24:11.120 get you.
01:24:13.060 Now they are going to use the
01:24:15.280 FBI to go after parents because
01:24:18.620 parents are being terroristic.
01:24:23.520 Oh, my gosh.
01:24:26.080 Wow.
01:24:26.680 Do we need to stand up?
01:24:28.340 I want to go through this story
01:24:29.900 with somebody who has been
01:24:30.760 fighting this for a very, very
01:24:32.340 long time.
01:24:33.080 In fact, she's the one that got
01:24:34.720 her Supreme Court case and
01:24:36.440 paved the way for a
01:24:38.240 ruling that freed all public
01:24:39.940 sector employees from forced
01:24:41.520 unionism.
01:24:43.020 That is they're working hard to
01:24:44.380 reverse that.
01:24:45.620 She's also the author of
01:24:46.500 Standing Up to Goliath.
01:24:48.240 She's been fighting this
01:24:49.660 forever.
01:24:51.400 I want to get her opinion on
01:24:53.180 what the federal government and
01:24:55.040 Justice Department did
01:24:56.340 yesterday, empowering the FBI
01:24:59.720 to help out the school board
01:25:01.880 members.
01:25:02.760 So nobody harasses them.
01:25:04.760 And you learn your lesson.
01:25:08.000 Rebecca Friedrichs in 60 seconds.
01:25:13.020 The Glenn Beck Program.
01:25:14.960 All right.
01:25:15.660 We're fighting over the debt
01:25:16.820 ceiling again.
01:25:17.900 Yay.
01:25:19.640 And it's those Republicans.
01:25:21.380 No, it's not.
01:25:22.260 Tell the truth.
01:25:23.000 It's not the Republicans.
01:25:24.220 The Democrats could pass it on
01:25:25.420 their own if they didn't want to
01:25:27.480 also pass the three point five
01:25:29.660 trillion dollar spending bill.
01:25:32.740 They can't do both.
01:25:34.040 So what are you going to do if
01:25:36.280 they really believe this is a
01:25:37.700 ticking time bomb?
01:25:38.740 They can pass it.
01:25:40.960 But they don't want to.
01:25:42.400 They want to make sure that
01:25:43.680 Republicans are roped into this
01:25:46.060 thing.
01:25:47.280 JP Morgan, by the way, is
01:25:48.460 actively preparing for U.S.
01:25:50.420 credit default in the near
01:25:51.720 future.
01:25:52.180 So let me ask you, are you
01:25:54.040 preparing?
01:25:55.880 What do they know that you
01:25:56.980 don't know?
01:25:58.600 I heard you call Goldline today
01:26:00.400 about investing in precious
01:26:01.820 metals.
01:26:05.320 You know, this is the month of
01:26:06.440 Halloween and there's nothing
01:26:07.360 scarier than the U.S.
01:26:09.180 financial markets right now.
01:26:11.660 Not being prepared perhaps is a
01:26:13.440 little scarier.
01:26:15.340 Goldline is offering a free
01:26:17.720 maple fleck silver bar.
01:26:20.060 These are the little pieces of
01:26:21.460 bar that I actually had to
01:26:22.600 make this.
01:26:23.200 The Canadian Mint, I asked
01:26:24.220 them to make this with
01:26:25.180 Goldline so you could take it
01:26:27.560 and your kids could get, you
01:26:30.000 know, out of town or get to
01:26:31.520 someplace safe.
01:26:32.460 God forbid there was a
01:26:33.540 breakdown in society because
01:26:36.020 credit cards on September
01:26:37.320 11th didn't work.
01:26:39.180 Nothing worked.
01:26:39.800 Nothing could, you know, who's
01:26:41.080 carrying around that much
01:26:41.960 cash?
01:26:42.920 Well, you can with a maple
01:26:44.940 flex bar.
01:26:46.060 Goldline is offering a free
01:26:47.320 maple fleck silver bar with
01:26:48.760 qualifying purchase of $5 gold
01:26:50.800 Indians this week only.
01:26:52.580 Supplies are extremely limited,
01:26:54.320 so don't wait.
01:26:54.900 Call 866-GOLDLINE.
01:26:56.180 That's 866-GOLDLINE or go to
01:26:58.200 goldline.com.
01:26:59.800 The founder and president of
01:27:13.400 Kids and Country and the
01:27:15.340 author of Standing Up to
01:27:16.300 Goliath, welcome back to the
01:27:18.480 program, Rebecca Friedrichs.
01:27:20.540 How are you, Rebecca?
01:27:21.960 Hey, it's great to be here.
01:27:23.300 Excuse my scratchy throat.
01:27:24.480 Yeah, no, not a problem.
01:27:25.420 Um, so this is the craziest
01:27:28.680 story I have heard.
01:27:30.460 The, uh, NSBA, which you're
01:27:33.140 going to have to explain to
01:27:34.200 me, um, I know they represent
01:27:36.340 the school boards, but are they
01:27:38.340 kind of like a union?
01:27:39.700 Uh, but the NSA, the NSBA has
01:27:42.700 asked Joe Biden for protection
01:27:46.200 for the school boards from the
01:27:48.980 FBI.
01:27:50.980 And he gave it to them
01:27:52.540 yesterday.
01:27:53.020 Tell me about this.
01:27:55.800 Well, this is absolutely
01:27:57.320 disgusting.
01:27:58.760 It's an attack on our
01:27:59.820 constitutional freedoms and
01:28:01.580 it's, it's the government
01:28:02.580 weaponizing itself against
01:28:03.980 taxpayers, against parents who
01:28:05.660 are trying to protect their
01:28:06.560 children.
01:28:07.140 So I'll answer your first
01:28:08.280 question.
01:28:08.640 The National School Boards
01:28:09.480 Association is a union.
01:28:11.260 It's a union for school board
01:28:12.900 members and the NSBA claims to
01:28:14.940 represent 90,000 school board
01:28:16.500 members, but that's not true.
01:28:18.320 Many board members are coerced
01:28:20.180 into joining this union and some
01:28:22.420 school districts even pay the
01:28:24.180 fees for membership with our
01:28:25.680 tax dollars.
01:28:26.740 So these school board members
01:28:27.720 are just kind of stuck in
01:28:28.760 there.
01:28:29.340 Every school board member I
01:28:30.340 know who's ever attended an
01:28:31.620 NSBA meeting has been
01:28:33.460 shocked by the leftist agenda
01:28:35.060 that's being pushed.
01:28:35.980 It's exactly that of the
01:28:38.000 teachers unions.
01:28:38.880 So the teachers unions and all
01:28:40.440 their pals in the
01:28:42.080 administrators association,
01:28:43.320 school board association,
01:28:44.420 library association, even the
01:28:45.880 PTA, they're all pushing
01:28:47.520 this same radical agenda.
01:28:49.540 And it's no surprise to me at
01:28:51.660 all that the Biden administration
01:28:53.300 is doing the bidding of these
01:28:55.220 unions because these unions
01:28:56.680 give, you know, multiple
01:28:59.360 millions and billions to the
01:29:02.460 candidates who will do their
01:29:03.920 bidding.
01:29:04.440 So that's what's going on here
01:29:06.160 in America needs to wake up.
01:29:08.280 You know, we're in the middle of a
01:29:09.700 communist takeover in this
01:29:10.940 country and the unions are the
01:29:13.000 ones behind it.
01:29:13.800 They're the ones funding it and
01:29:14.920 pushing it and using our, you
01:29:18.380 know, elected officials to get
01:29:20.180 this done.
01:29:21.980 That's quite a statement, but I
01:29:24.260 agree with you.
01:29:25.180 We are in the midst.
01:29:26.000 I think we are in a revolution.
01:29:28.160 One side is aware of it and the
01:29:31.160 other side wants to just keep
01:29:33.420 their head buried in the sand.
01:29:35.960 But so what does this mean?
01:29:39.120 Merrick yesterday said
01:29:40.880 coordination and partnership with
01:29:42.180 local law enforcement is critical
01:29:43.520 to implementing these measures
01:29:45.040 for the benefit of our nation's
01:29:46.300 nearly 14,000 public school
01:29:47.940 districts.
01:29:48.540 To this end, I'm directing
01:29:49.820 Federal Bureau of Investigation
01:29:51.400 working with each of the United
01:29:52.680 States attorneys to convene
01:29:54.540 meetings with federal, state,
01:29:55.740 local, tribal and territorial
01:29:57.240 leaders in each federal judicial
01:29:59.380 district within 30 days.
01:30:01.500 These meetings will facilitate the
01:30:03.000 discussions of strategies for
01:30:04.500 addressing these threats.
01:30:06.100 Are our school boards getting a
01:30:09.380 lot of threats like that?
01:30:11.520 Or I mean, what's happening?
01:30:13.800 Wow.
01:30:14.220 You know, this is terrifying.
01:30:15.460 In fact, what it is, is it's
01:30:16.580 gaslighting.
01:30:17.620 So these school board, the
01:30:19.060 school board association is
01:30:20.180 claiming that parents are doing
01:30:23.080 precisely what the unions and
01:30:24.760 school board associations have been
01:30:26.160 doing to the rest of us for years.
01:30:27.960 So they've been bullying us, these
01:30:29.880 unions, the school board
01:30:30.960 associations.
01:30:31.460 If you're an honest, hardworking
01:30:33.520 school board member, you could
01:30:36.280 easily be chased out of office by a
01:30:38.140 union.
01:30:38.800 If you're a good teacher doing a
01:30:40.400 good job, you're going to be
01:30:41.300 harassed.
01:30:41.840 A good parent.
01:30:42.560 So what's really going on is they
01:30:44.680 have twisted the narrative and
01:30:46.920 now they have the government, the
01:30:48.780 DOJ, the FBI, these three letter
01:30:51.120 agencies that have also been
01:30:52.740 corrupted by these very same
01:30:54.280 unions attacking, claiming they're
01:30:57.960 bringing benefit.
01:30:59.580 No, parents bring benefit to their
01:31:01.260 children.
01:31:01.940 Good teachers bring benefit.
01:31:03.580 These corrupt unions and school
01:31:05.240 board associations bring zero
01:31:06.880 benefit.
01:31:07.300 They are the threat, but they're
01:31:09.560 flipping it and claiming that we're
01:31:11.080 the threat.
01:31:11.820 This is frightening.
01:31:13.220 And like I said before, America
01:31:15.220 really needs to awaken.
01:31:17.200 And earlier I mentioned this
01:31:18.640 communist takeover.
01:31:20.300 Well, I would just like people to
01:31:21.400 know there were some goals of the
01:31:22.960 communist party to take over our
01:31:24.440 country.
01:31:25.240 They were read into our congressional
01:31:26.320 record in 1963.
01:31:28.380 And goal 17 says, get control of the
01:31:30.980 schools.
01:31:31.940 Use them as transmission belts for
01:31:33.840 socialism and communist propaganda.
01:31:35.760 Soften the curriculum, get control
01:31:38.860 of the teacher associations, put the
01:31:41.580 party line in the textbook.
01:31:42.980 We're just watching this come to
01:31:44.540 fruition.
01:31:45.480 They got control of the school board
01:31:46.800 associations as well and most other
01:31:48.980 government unions in our country.
01:31:50.760 So it's not only the FBI that's
01:31:52.240 coming after people.
01:31:54.220 Biden is, I guess, going to use the
01:31:57.280 Postal Service to intervene against
01:31:59.520 threatening letters and cyberbullying
01:32:02.100 attacks.
01:32:04.220 See what I mean?
01:32:05.180 So the post office is controlled by
01:32:07.500 unions too.
01:32:08.840 So, okay, let's backdate election
01:32:11.920 paperwork.
01:32:12.840 Let's use the post office to harass
01:32:14.740 people and to deny them of their
01:32:16.600 freedom of speech to send a letter
01:32:18.740 through the postal system.
01:32:20.280 This is out of control.
01:32:21.960 This is the weaponizing of the
01:32:24.120 government against the people.
01:32:25.540 And we, the people, we, the people
01:32:27.520 are sovereign.
01:32:28.740 We are citizens, which means that we
01:32:31.700 are the leaders.
01:32:33.280 We are, you know, equal.
01:32:35.720 And these folks are supposed to be
01:32:37.800 serving us.
01:32:38.520 They're out of control.
01:32:39.440 We need to put them back in their
01:32:40.460 place.
01:32:41.100 So it's going to be a massive fight.
01:32:42.520 Here is, uh, here, here is where the
01:32:45.720 rubber meets the road.
01:32:47.020 Um, I'm, I'm really tired of people
01:32:49.480 saying, well, I'm a good teacher and
01:32:51.180 I'm in the teacher's union.
01:32:52.580 Get out of the teacher's union, you
01:32:54.680 know, quit the teacher's union.
01:32:56.260 I, I know that, you know, people want
01:32:58.980 to change it from the inside and then
01:33:00.500 we'll lose all of our good teachers.
01:33:02.120 Well, if there isn't, um, a group of
01:33:05.580 teachers that rise up and school board
01:33:08.180 members who see this and go, I'm not
01:33:11.260 one, I'm not going to be a part of this.
01:33:13.380 If they don't rise up together, um, we're,
01:33:17.740 we're, we're going to lose, we're going
01:33:19.820 to lose.
01:33:20.320 You can't stay silent in your, in your
01:33:23.300 job. And as a parent, you can't stay
01:33:26.960 silent.
01:33:28.760 Amen. In all capitals, Glenn, we have
01:33:31.740 been speaking out for so many years and
01:33:33.880 I agree with, I am a teacher, my husband,
01:33:36.520 40 year teacher. So I can say this, if
01:33:39.060 you are a teacher and you say you're a
01:33:41.260 good teacher and you're still paying the
01:33:43.000 government unions, you are complicit in
01:33:46.580 evil. You are complicit in harming
01:33:48.780 children, sexualizing children, harming
01:33:51.100 parents. If you are a good teacher,
01:33:53.300 leave the union today and then we'll
01:33:55.620 believe you're a good teacher. Good
01:33:57.540 teachers must stand up with good
01:33:59.660 parents, with good school board members.
01:34:01.620 We have something we call adopt a
01:34:03.180 teacher where we ask good parents and
01:34:05.400 others to just get every teacher, you
01:34:07.760 know, and educate them because most of
01:34:09.760 them have no idea that we won them the
01:34:11.800 right to stop funding unions because the
01:34:14.120 unions passed a bunch of laws to make
01:34:16.520 it illegal for employers to tell people
01:34:19.540 they've been freed from unions. So
01:34:21.140 please help us to get the work out
01:34:22.820 there. They can find all the information
01:34:24.180 they need on our website. It's called
01:34:25.480 forkidsandcountry.org. And amen, we must
01:34:29.380 stand together. Things are out of
01:34:31.360 control. We could have stopped this a
01:34:32.600 long time ago if teachers would have
01:34:34.800 listened and awakened and school board
01:34:37.260 members and others and parents and
01:34:39.080 pastors. We all need to stand together.
01:34:41.260 Are you seeing still the groundswell? Because
01:34:45.460 it seems to have gone quiet a bit.
01:34:48.420 Yeah, we are seeing the groundswell around
01:34:51.460 critical race theory, which, by the way, in
01:34:53.500 this NSBA letter, they lied and said they're
01:34:55.720 not teaching it in our school. Yes, they
01:34:57.700 are. Yes, they are. They're implementing it in
01:35:00.400 every subject. They use, you know, tricky
01:35:03.460 wording to try to make it sound like they're
01:35:05.340 not doing that. But yes, we see a groundswell
01:35:07.860 around CRT, which, thank God, but there's so
01:35:10.560 many other problems in our schools. What we
01:35:12.260 don't see a groundswell around is people
01:35:14.520 awakening to the fact that the root cause of
01:35:17.300 every single branch issue you are fighting is
01:35:20.800 the teacher unions and their communist agenda
01:35:23.160 and the other government unions. We have to
01:35:25.840 awaken people to stop thinking their
01:35:28.340 government union is their friend. Their
01:35:30.440 government union is destroying them, their
01:35:32.380 profession. They will destroy your pension that
01:35:34.660 they've promised you at some point if we fall to
01:35:36.580 communism. So people have to awaken, stop
01:35:40.600 trusting these government unions. If we can
01:35:43.320 weed, you know, get them out, take away their
01:35:46.360 power, we could fix all these problems.
01:35:48.740 Rebecca, thank you so much. I appreciate
01:35:50.460 everything that you've done. She's the author
01:35:52.240 of Standing Up to Goliath. She's been
01:35:53.960 standing up to Goliath for a very long time. She
01:35:56.520 was a teacher for 28 years. She's also the
01:35:58.900 founder and president for Kids and Country. You
01:36:01.740 can find her at the website for kidsandcountry.org.
01:36:05.120 If you are somebody that wants to stand up in
01:36:07.220 your community, if you're a parent, you must
01:36:09.900 stand up for your community. Go to
01:36:12.360 for kidsandcountry.org. If you are a teacher
01:36:15.920 and you you want you are one of those teachers
01:36:20.360 you're like, I am not the bad guy here. Yeah, as
01:36:23.980 Rebecca said, and I echo the time for being in
01:36:28.500 bed or one foot in each side of the threshold is
01:36:33.140 way gone. You are either in bed with these
01:36:36.820 labor unions and you're contributing to them
01:36:40.100 and you're supporting by just being another
01:36:42.980 number on their sheet. You're either with them
01:36:47.040 and against the parents or you're with the
01:36:49.860 parents against the unions. But these labor
01:36:52.720 unions have got to be stopped. They are the
01:36:56.240 poison that is in our system and the FBI now
01:37:01.460 treating parents as terrorists should
01:37:06.420 terrify every single American that said, I'm
01:37:10.400 not doing anything wrong. Why does it matter
01:37:13.360 to me? Because if you don't now agree with what
01:37:17.580 is in your school, you're going to be labeled a
01:37:20.740 terrorist. We must stand together. Rebecca, thank
01:37:24.700 you so much. God bless. Thank you. Gosh, it'd
01:37:29.620 be nice if we could get mobile phone service
01:37:32.220 from a company that gave you the same great
01:37:34.140 service as the, you know, all the big carriers
01:37:37.340 and then didn't charge you an arm and a leg to
01:37:39.900 do it while we're at it while we're dreaming. Maybe
01:37:43.340 they could not donate a portion of the bill to
01:37:45.820 leftist causes like Planned Parenthood. Wouldn't
01:37:48.280 that be great? Well, yeah, and it exists today.

01:38:06.940 any family. They donate a portion of the bill to

01:38:45.000 second station ID. Wow. This, this Facebook
01:38:59.620 whistleblower, she's doing some damage to
01:39:02.920 Facebook, huh? Wow. She's testifying in front of
01:39:07.320 the Senate right now and she's like, boy, a company
01:39:11.600 that, you know, can control your feelings and know
01:39:15.600 your aspirations and, and feed you anything. Boy,
01:39:20.360 they need real oversight. I'll tell you that right
01:39:23.340 now. Yeah, of course, this is the way this is
01:39:25.060 going to go, right? Yeah. Yeah. This is why I'm
01:39:26.820 always skeptical of these plans to go after and come
01:39:31.580 up with these new rules that we're going to put
01:39:33.280 through the government to control these companies. At
01:39:36.320 the end of the day, we have to realize that if it is
01:39:39.140 up to tech executives or the federal government to
01:39:42.520 manage our free speech, we are not going to have
01:39:45.300 it. Correct. Either way. Correct. That's why I'm, I'm
01:39:48.980 so bullish on things like blockchain and, you know,
01:39:51.840 Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies is because this is a way to
01:39:54.500 go around it, right? You don't have to deal with the
01:39:57.300 government. You don't, they can't get rid of it. And
01:39:59.960 that's why they don't want it. That's why China's out. Yeah.
01:40:03.420 We're in that race right now between, you know, DC trying
01:40:06.300 to throttle all of this stuff from happening and
01:40:09.980 exploding into such huge, huge portions of the economy
01:40:14.400 that it can't be shut down. And there's a lot of money
01:40:17.980 behind it now may already be impossible to shut down, but
01:40:21.840 I hope so. They're trying, they're going to do everything
01:40:23.800 they can to regulate it. And that regulation will lead to
01:40:29.180 all the things that it was created to defeat. If you have
01:40:33.360 a hundred dollars, you should put it in Bitcoin just to
01:40:36.640 support it, just to support it and to grow it. That's doing
01:40:40.440 very well. It's back over 50,000, by the way. I don't
01:40:42.200 know. Is it really? Yeah. Yeah. So gosh, it just keeps
01:40:45.440 going. I mean, China has about 20% of the world's
01:40:49.960 population and they just banned all transactions in the
01:40:53.060 country and it's up. Well, but you, I mean, it's like a
01:40:56.860 Swiss bank account. You know what I mean? You, if you are
01:41:00.820 worried that you're, you know, think like a German, you're
01:41:03.460 worried that the government is coming for your stuff, go to
01:41:08.280 a neutral country and put your stuff in that bank. And
01:41:12.620 that's what people did during world war two. That's kind of
01:41:14.860 what's happening with Bitcoin. You know, part of it is, um,
01:41:19.060 the, you know, the next generation, this is the next
01:41:22.120 generation's gold. I don't know how it works out compared to
01:41:26.280 gold because it's physical. Um, but, uh, I don't know. Um, but
01:41:33.220 this is, this is what people, instead of putting it into
01:41:36.200 gold, people have been putting it into Bitcoin and they're
01:41:39.540 hoping because you can actually trade with Bitcoin, um, that
01:41:45.180 it'll somehow or another miss all of these governments. But
01:41:49.200 I'm, I'm telling you, look what they're doing. The postal service
01:41:52.200 is going to be a bank. Excuse me, the postal service. They do
01:41:59.320 everything else so well. I don't. Right. I want their banking
01:42:02.460 system. Good heavens. Uh, with all the stuff that is coming
01:42:06.580 with our financial world. Uh, I mean, I, you know, for the
01:42:13.160 first time in your life, you kind of go, Switzerland is so far
01:42:16.320 away. Can you, you have online banking? I mean, really? What
01:42:22.320 do you do? What do you do? If you don't trust the financial
01:42:26.580 system of your own country, I been, uh, you know, I'd love to
01:42:30.240 hear from people who have relatives in Venezuela. Uh, I'd like
01:42:34.080 to know what did anybody who made it 70% are not, or are eating
01:42:39.580 their dogs or on extreme poverty. That means 30% of the
01:42:44.520 country is left, uh, that has something. What they're doing.
01:42:50.060 How are they doing it? Lots of cryptocurrency in Venezuela. Lots
01:42:53.660 of use there. You know, it is, it's the way to do it, right? It's
01:42:57.320 the way to get around it. And it's the way to avoid the
01:43:00.480 government. And it's why, of course, that they're coming
01:43:02.460 after it. And it's interesting that they're coming after these
01:43:04.980 staple coins first. I don't know if anyone knows about these, but
01:43:07.540 basically they're just, it's basically a substitute for a
01:43:10.040 dollar, right? In a way, right? It's a, it's a
01:43:12.460 cryptocurrency that stays equal to a dollar, right? So you
01:43:16.580 can put it into USDC or Tether or one of these others and
01:43:19.980 they'll stay right there. And the idea is people have, it's
01:43:24.520 hard to get in and out of from, you know, fiat currency to
01:43:27.280 cryptocurrency. This is a circle, a bridge you can trade
01:43:30.060 around or, and you can keep it stable to the value of the
01:43:32.800 dollar. If that's what you want to do with it, it's easier to
01:43:35.100 transact in. There's lots of reasons why people like
01:43:37.540 them, but that's the first thing they're going after. The
01:43:40.140 first thing you think, you know, what a stable coins, why
01:43:42.640 would anyone, you know, they're not like the most popular
01:43:45.260 harder. They want to make it harder and they want to stop
01:43:49.420 people from taking their money out of banks and putting them
01:43:54.240 into stable coins where they can earn four or five, six, eight
01:43:57.140 percent in interest when they're getting 0.01 percent from
01:44:02.080 their banks. And they're worried they're going to cause, it's
01:44:06.060 one thing, you know, cause a run on the banks. It's one thing
01:44:08.600 to, to, to go into a Bitcoin or one of these other
01:44:12.000 cryptocurrencies where you might see a lot of upside, but you
01:44:14.080 might see downside and you're worried about the stability of
01:44:16.460 it with these stable coins. They're stable. They're stable. I
01:44:20.660 mean, you know, I mean, there's always some risk there, but
01:44:23.880 that's what they're trying to stop right now. It's really
01:44:25.760 remarkable that they actually think of themselves as
01:44:29.200 progressives while they're trying to shut down any kind of new
01:44:33.840 technology or new way of thinking. I mean, they just shut it
01:44:39.520 down left and right. You want freedom. Okay. Bitcoin is the
01:44:43.840 answer. You want stability. Okay. Government, you should buy into
01:44:48.120 some Bitcoin.
01:44:53.060 This is the Glenn Beck program. Imagine if we would have had that, if
01:44:56.860 we would have bought that 10 years ago, somebody in the
01:44:58.920 government was like, we're going to put a million dollars into
01:45:01.120 it. Imagine we'd have our debt paid for by now built bar, uh,
01:45:05.360 right around the corner from the holiday season. And if you're
01:45:07.980 like me, that means a lot of time around the house. Uh, but
01:45:12.420 even more time around the cookie plate. Um, may I suggest
01:45:16.040 you may not want to be fatter than you are right now. And I'm
01:45:22.400 speaking from experience. I'm getting pretty fat and, uh, I
01:45:26.460 got to stop nine amazing flavors, occasional limited time built bar
01:45:31.600 flavor. You can get the mixed box. You can try two of each of the
01:45:35.120 nine flavors. They're low calorie, low carb, but they're made with
01:45:38.800 real chocolate and they are really good because the built bar
01:45:42.780 knows flavor has to come first. I want you to try a built bar,
01:45:47.760 go to built.com. I think you're going to love them built.com.
01:45:52.040 Use the promo code Beck 15 and you'll get 15% off your next
01:45:55.760 order. It's built.com promo code Beck 15 built.com.
01:46:09.260 All right. It's blaze TV.com slash Glenn for the promo code Glenn.
01:46:13.440 You had 10 bucks off your subscription to blaze TV.
01:46:22.040 This is the Glenn Beck program studio. Remember the, the mom
01:46:28.500 in Rhode Island that just wanted to ask for the curriculum to see
01:46:33.700 if CRT was in the curriculum. And the, uh, the school was like,
01:46:38.480 wait, no, it's, it's too much. It's too much of a hassle. She's
01:46:41.860 like, well, wait a minute. What do you mean? It's too much of a
01:46:44.180 hassle. And, uh, they, they ended up saying, okay, if you want us
01:46:48.880 to go through this, uh, it's going to be $76,000, right? Okay. Fair,
01:46:53.820 fair, totally fair amount. Correct. And then they sued her to stop
01:46:59.940 her intimidation. Uh, now, now yesterday, the FBI, uh, has announced
01:47:09.140 that they're going to target parents for harassment and intimidation.
01:47:12.720 The FBI is going to do this, uh, based on what happens at your local
01:47:18.300 school board meetings. Wow. So I wanted to get her on the phone. Her
01:47:23.640 name is Nick, uh, Nicole Salas and, uh, Nicole, Nicole.
01:47:30.080 Yes. Hi, hi, Glenn. Uh, I asked my staff this morning, I said, what, what
01:47:35.660 is Nicole saying about this? And, uh, they said, well, she's responded in
01:47:40.580 two words and those two words are arrest me. Now I've talked to you. I've
01:47:48.800 talked to you before. You're not some radical. This is not, this is, this is
01:47:53.700 out of the usual for you, right? You, I mean, you're not somebody that's
01:47:58.540 always protesting and everything else. No, I mean, I don't think I've ever done
01:48:03.480 the protest. I'm a stay at home mom. I wanted to know what my kids was
01:48:06.760 learning. And, uh, you know, six months later, I'm now being targeted by the
01:48:11.480 FBI. And so is every other parent who has legitimate concerns about what their
01:48:15.380 kids are learning in school. Um, you know, Garland is, is trying to frame this
01:48:21.100 in terms of threats of violence by parents. And that has never been at the
01:48:25.440 forefront of this fight, opposing critical race theory, indoctrination in
01:48:29.840 school. Parents, um, you know, are, are not intimidating school boards with
01:48:35.080 threats of violence. We're not being violent. We're begging for open debate
01:48:39.500 and civil discourse. And, you know, just to really emphasize that no one
01:48:44.920 tolerates violence. No one wants that. Um, it should be noted that if there are
01:48:49.820 any actual threats of violence by parents, that can be handled by local law
01:48:53.660 enforcement, because this is not a federal issue. Um, you know, what we're
01:48:58.280 seeing here is an attempt to politicize federal law enforcement to stifle
01:49:03.700 honest debate. And that should be vehemently opposed. We cannot let that
01:49:09.180 stifle us because parents shouldn't have to worry about being federally
01:49:13.700 investigated just because they're sharing legitimate concerns about what their
01:49:17.980 children are learning. Especially at a local level. I mean, you're, you're
01:49:24.200 standing in your local school district that would require the local police. And
01:49:30.160 if the police can't handle it, then it's kicked up to the attorney general and
01:49:34.700 the attorney general would turn it over to the state police. If there was a
01:49:39.080 terroristic threat, it could be kicked up then to the FBI. This is crazy. This is,
01:49:45.180 this is making the FBI an agency. It seems to me an agency or an arm of the
01:49:53.840 unions. Right, right. So, you know, what, what we're seeing here is, is a much
01:49:59.680 broader political perspective or narrative that starting to weave. So parents care
01:50:05.400 about their kids and their kids education, but now we're seeing story after story
01:50:10.140 of parents clashing with powerful political interests, like school districts,
01:50:14.440 politicians, unions, and those political interests, they care about their, their
01:50:19.300 power, their money, and their political agenda. And they're going to pull out all
01:50:22.920 the stops to hold on to that power. And that's why they're lashing out at parents
01:50:27.300 when parents are questioning them and challenging their authority. So, you know,
01:50:32.200 we see Garland, right? Attorney Garland, he's gathering law enforcement at every
01:50:36.180 level of society, letting everyone know that he's doing it. And that sends a
01:50:40.040 political message of intimidation with parents around the country. And this,
01:50:43.400 this fits in with the teacher union talking point, trying to demonize
01:50:47.000 opposition, trying to cast everybody who doesn't go along with the critical race,
01:50:51.340 theory, indoctrination, and union agenda as terrorists, right? The National School
01:50:56.200 Board Association comes out and says, now, you know, parents like me are domestic
01:51:00.280 terrorists. And, you know, in the beginning of this, they were calling people like me
01:51:05.060 fascist. Then they call you racist. Now we're terrorists. And it's like they're
01:51:10.240 running out of magic words to call you. Well, and these accusations aren't enough
01:51:14.760 right now. The FBI has to come after you. Right. The terrorist one, as we have said
01:51:19.680 for a million years now, it seems the Patriot Act was the biggest mistake of all
01:51:27.180 time, because all you have to do is change the definition of a terrorist. And they are
01:51:34.980 labeling people now terrorists. That's why this has to be a terrorist activity in
01:51:40.200 Washington, D.C. on January 6th. If it was, it's the worst terrorist act of all
01:51:45.660 time. This, this with the parents, the only thing that would beat January 6th as a
01:51:52.860 terrorist event would be the school board meetings in our local areas, because those
01:51:59.440 are really crappy terrorists. They're not doing anything except talking. But that's
01:52:07.020 why they're bringing, that's why they're bringing that charge and labeling people now
01:52:11.860 terrorists, because that has legal teeth in it. Patriot Act.
01:52:16.360 Yes. And, you know, and in Rhode Island, someone just sent me a response to an OMA
01:52:22.760 complaint that was filed where the school board called parents opposing critical race
01:52:27.860 theory, they called them January 6th terrorists. They I mean, they're any any
01:52:32.780 opposition they have, it's terrorists, it's insurrectionists, you can't even, you
01:52:38.520 know, challenge them without them trying to destroy you. And the other really
01:52:42.140 interesting thing is, the Department of Justice and the FBI are concerned about,
01:52:47.100 you know, this quote, terrorist activity by parents, only only to a limited people. And
01:52:52.000 those are people who disagree with the Biden agenda, where are their task forces and
01:52:56.980 multi level law enforcement meetings to address, oh, I don't know, protesters who
01:53:01.160 chase senators into bathrooms, or people who disrupt congressional hearings, or how
01:53:05.980 about school boards who try to intimidate parents. So they are being very selective in
01:53:10.280 who they label terrorists.
01:53:14.460 Any thought of moving to a rational state?
01:53:17.340 You know, I actually do think about it every day, Florida is looking better and better. But I don't
01:53:26.980 know if that is gonna win this ideological war. No, it's not really what's happening right now. You
01:53:34.680 know, like, you know, what they're doing to parents now is consistent with the ideological
01:53:38.820 courage in the military. This is now a complete weaponization of the federal government against
01:53:45.580 ideological opponents. If you move to another state where they aren't targeting you this way.
01:53:51.140 Maybe you'll buy yourself some peace, you know, some limited amount of time of peace, but
01:53:55.340 who's to say that that's really the long term answer for parents that don't want to run away
01:54:00.540 from this fight, we want to win it.
01:54:02.100 How do you, how do you, I don't know, what line was crossed, that makes you this individual? Because
01:54:14.920 a lot of parents, they may be upset, but then they're not really vigilant, like you are. And
01:54:23.840 they're not willing to say, come arrest me. I mean, those that's big words. And I believe you mean that.
01:54:28.940 Um, I, I really don't know. I think that parents need to tap into the fighter in them. Everyone has
01:54:38.820 a fighter in them when it comes to their kids. And I think some people are scared of, of fighting,
01:54:45.840 at least as loudly as I am, as other parents I know are. But if I don't do this, I'm just sick
01:54:52.660 to my stomach. I just can't exist in a world where the government is targeting and harassing
01:54:59.360 me and I'm paying them to do it because I'm setting up a world where then my children are
01:55:03.740 going to be in that position with their own children. So I think we just need to keep a
01:55:08.780 broader political perspective on what's happening that, yes, we're fighting for our kids and our
01:55:12.860 education, but we're really fighting for a country that is not going to be oppressive
01:55:18.920 for our children when they're grown up. What do you say to the parents that have kids
01:55:23.680 in school and their kids are saying, please, mom and dad, please don't do this. I'm going
01:55:28.920 to get hammered in school.
01:55:31.740 You fight back every time they're hammered in school. No one is coming out of this unscathed.
01:55:37.880 I can't make any promises that your kids aren't going to be affected, but I can promise that
01:55:43.280 if you do nothing and if you do nothing because your kids just, they don't want to be affected
01:55:50.940 by this. And of course, we don't want them affected by this. We want to shield them. But
01:55:54.400 if you do nothing, it's going to be worse than if you did something. So we're not coming
01:56:00.540 out of this unscathed. The worst thing you can do is nothing. The best thing you can do
01:56:04.780 is protect your kids every step of that way. And every time you hear that your kid is being
01:56:08.640 targeted, you respond to that too. Don't stick your head in the sand.
01:56:14.080 I really admire you. I think you are a great mom and a great American and we'll continue
01:56:23.320 to pray for you. And God bless. God bless. Thank you so much.
01:56:28.260 Thank you, Glenn.
01:56:29.240 You bet.
01:56:29.580 There are very few people that are that brave. Nicole Solis, she is fighting for her children
01:56:41.540 in Rhode Island. You can follow her on Twitter, Nicoletta 0602, or you can help her in her battle
01:56:52.680 at goldwaterinstitute.org, goldwaterinstitute.org. All right. Let me tell you about real estate
01:57:00.460 agents I trust. This is a service for anybody who is buying or selling a home. You're probably,
01:57:08.680 if you've ever done it before, probably very well aware of a phenomenon every now and then.
01:57:14.940 And you just stop and look up the ceiling and just say, could I have a day where something
01:57:19.920 is going to go right? Yeah. Brother, it is so frustrating playing around in the real estate
01:57:26.400 game. Half the time you'd even, you don't even know what to do. You don't know what you don't
01:57:31.300 know. That's when it comes to picking a real estate agent. You need someone who is not only going to be
01:57:37.120 able to guide you through the best practices, but also, um, is, is somebody that you can call up and
01:57:45.240 say, okay, I don't know exactly what I'm supposed to do here. Um, or I, I know you said that maybe I
01:57:51.520 should, you know, fix the flower beds. Do you, do you know anybody that does that? These people are
01:57:57.800 on your team. You need an agent from real estate agents. I trust this is a company of mine and we
01:58:04.400 work only with the very best of the best. And I want to hear about your experiences with real estate
01:58:09.240 agents. I trust real estate agents. I trust.com. We're not a company. They don't work for me.
01:58:15.780 What they do is we go out and they apply and we go out and we look at them and we look at their track
01:58:20.720 record. And if we feel that they fit our team, then we'll recommend them to you for free. All you
01:58:28.280 have to do is go to real estate agents. I trust.com that's real estate agents. I trust.com.
01:58:33.840 You know, we don't thank you nearly enough. Um, 10 years ago, 10 years ago, I suggested that we
01:58:48.560 start Mercury one and Mercury one was going to be something that would make us more independent
01:58:56.020 and make sure that we were still feeling charitable to all of our fellow citizens. If there was a
01:59:03.240 disaster, we would be there. Uh, and we would not be looking to some federal agency, even Mercury one
01:59:11.340 that we would unite under local people and find the local people that are actually making a difference
01:59:18.640 and support them. That's what we've done. Then I told you that we wanted to, uh, begin a vault,
01:59:26.060 built a museum, if you will. Uh, and in the 10, uh, years that we have been putting this together at
01:59:34.720 Mercury one, we now have the largest collection of Jamestown and pilgrim, uh, documents and artifacts in the
01:59:43.640 world. We have the third largest collection of American founding documents. Um, and we're only
01:59:51.440 surpassed by the national archives and the library of Congress. And we have things that you've never
01:59:57.500 seen before. Uh, and we are now building a way for you to be able to share these things with your
02:00:06.120 kids. We're currently digitizing, uh, everything as fast as we possibly can. I started the Nazarene fund
02:00:16.480 and you know how that has gone, uh, not only in Syria, um, but also here, uh, with Afghanistan.
02:00:25.380 I'm going to give you an update on that at our next big event for Mercury one, where I'm going to give
02:00:32.760 you, uh, a new plan and the power of one and ask you to do certain things. And I invite you to be there.
02:00:43.840 Go to mercury one.org or M one next chapter.org or dot.com and, uh, and get your tickets. It's
02:00:54.600 this Saturday night here in the Dallas Fort Worth area. And I would love to have you there. David
02:01:01.000 Barton is going to be there along with Tim Barton. We're going to be talking about, uh, history,
02:01:05.160 showing you things you've never seen before. Um, we have, we have a couple of really great musical,
02:01:11.780 uh, groups that are going to just kind of party after all the work is done. Uh, Danny Gorky and
02:01:17.240 Colton Dixon are going to be performing live. This is part of their concert tours. Um, and we would
02:01:22.720 love to see you there again. It's the power of one. It happens this Saturday night, mercury one.org
02:01:31.740 or M one next chapter.com. I've been working on this, this, uh, plan in this speech for several
02:01:39.460 weeks now, probably five weeks. Uh, the only other thing I've worked on this long, I think
02:01:44.720 has been, uh, in, uh, uh, in Jerusalem. Uh, this is a really important, uh, event and we
02:01:53.880 would love to have you there. All of the proceeds go to benefit mercury one. So we can keep our lights
02:01:59.240 on. This is our yearly, um, event. Make sure you join us if you can this Saturday night,
02:02:04.740 mercury one.org or M one next chapter.com. So you're going to work on the speech all the
02:02:11.980 way up to the event. And then how long before the event will you rip it up and just completely
02:02:15.920 do something different? What's your plan on that? That's when you, that's when you write
02:02:19.900 it. Oh, that's when you write it too. You constantly write your own speeches and then get up to the
02:02:25.600 podium and be like, you know what? I don't, I don't know. Oh, it's good. It's going to talk
02:02:34.680 to you from the heart and then you get like, and then, you know, that's when, you know, it's
02:02:39.000 like Fidel Castro length speech is coming. So run for the doors right then. I don't care how much
02:02:46.600 you donated. Get out of that building. Well, I think you're going to enjoy this, uh, Saturday
02:02:53.160 night. Make sure you join us mercury one.org or M one next chapter.com. We'll see you there
02:02:58.760 Saturday night.
