The Glenn Beck Program - Minneapolis Protests Turn VIOLENT – That Doesn’t Help! ｜ 5⧸28⧸20

00:00:00.000 with patents too for glenn who is on vacation this week you know it makes perfect sense that

00:00:06.620 when uh somebody dies at the hand of a police officer in minneapolis you burn down an auto

00:00:12.980 zone location right when you just you set fire to auto zone and uh and then that sets everything

00:00:19.820 right yeah i mean i'm not an expert on on police violence per se but i do know that most of it is

00:00:24.840 caused by auto parts yeah uh that's my understanding of the situation well auto parts

00:00:29.640 and then you know strip malls uh huge i mean how many of us hate strip malls um and so you got to

00:00:36.540 burn those down and and then you have to steal tvs from target well they need to be rescued

00:00:41.340 those tvs needed to be rescued they've been held hostage by target for far too long yeah and who's

00:00:47.160 saying anything about it nobody nobody you know i mean we were all on the same page i think

00:00:53.620 yeah that's where i started the day too we were kind of on the same page yeah uh a really huge

00:01:01.180 injustice happened a real awful tragedy a despicable act by that cop who yes should be charged with some

00:01:09.320 form of murder i agree with you and i think he will be i can't imagine him not being mayor's called for

00:01:16.520 it i i mean they can't just no bill the guy now they've already fired him so he's he's obviously

00:01:24.320 done something wrong and they know that so he's going to be charged i would imagine sometime very

00:01:30.280 soon uh once the investigation is over then they're going to charge somebody with something

00:01:34.740 and maybe all four of them being accessories i don't know uh but okay so we're there i don't know

00:01:41.100 anybody who said no that looked that looked like it was fine to me that looked uh i i've never heard

00:01:45.580 anybody say that and we should stop and emphasize that point for a second i know of no one no one

00:01:51.500 who made a case for the officers in this story i don't think so either there may be somebody i'm

00:01:55.800 sure there's people on twitter right i'm sure there are individuals in the world who have done it i'm

00:02:00.920 sure i haven't seen it if if well you know is david duke saying you know what maybe this should have

00:02:05.880 happened maybe i don't know well there could be somebody out there i'm not saying there are literally

00:02:10.160 zero people but i have heard literally zero people make the case for the officers in this

00:02:16.100 situation right and i but what is so clear about this is it has nothing to do with what happened

00:02:22.980 going and rioting and taking nothing to do with it has nothing to do you're not helping the cause

00:02:28.800 you're not doing it for the man who died nope i mean it's just it is a it's a pathetic response

00:02:37.180 to a tragic situation and what does this do to your community what does this do to the poor 0.71

00:02:45.140 single mom trying to support her children who now can't get anything at target you know like it's

00:02:52.000 very central to your life it's very central to my life for sure target um but it's central to your

00:02:57.000 life if you're in a community where you're looking to try to find things at good prices and in plentiful

00:03:01.480 supply now that place is gone your car breaks down you need to fix it that place is gone uh you know

00:03:07.760 gas stations are now gone if you need gas to get out of this place that's on fire that's gone what

00:03:13.400 good does this do and what does it do to your community long term if i were to say to you right

00:03:17.700 now pat hey i'm moving to ferguson what would you say everyone would say like whoa really is it okay

00:03:22.920 like it way now ferguson may be much much better than it was but everyone thinks of ferguson they think

00:03:28.300 of riots when you think of uh watts you're you think of riots riots right like these places you

00:03:34.500 damage your community for decades going forward by doing things essentially forever yeah i mean the

00:03:41.660 riots happened in 1967 or 68 and we're still talking we're still mentioning them yeah right yeah i mean

00:03:47.640 los angeles we joked about at the beginning of the show you know you go to certain areas of los angeles

00:03:52.060 that are famous for this for these events and that's what people think of how do you how to

00:03:58.120 property values rise for people in the future what dumb business puts their business back in this

00:04:05.360 area for a few years why why on earth if your target would you why would you now minneapolis 0.91

00:04:10.640 target is is from minneapolis isn't it isn't it no i think it is yeah um so they've had locations all

00:04:15.700 over the place but like you know if you're a small business you're going to open up and you have a

00:04:18.900 choice between that neighborhood that was just set on fire or a neighborhood three miles down the road

00:04:23.400 six miles down the road where are you going where are you going i'm going down the road yeah

00:04:27.200 i mean without question and what for what and i'd like to say oh well you know what there are

00:04:33.800 people that will say look they're angry this is a tragic situation all of that can be true you know

00:04:39.720 what 99 of people didn't act that way the people who went out there and stole televisions did it to

00:04:44.180 benefit themselves financially period they don't that has nothing to do with this guy who was killed

00:04:51.780 it is taking advantage of a crisis yep it's never letting a good crisis go to waste that's what

00:04:57.800 they've learned and that's what they're doing you see the footage inside of this target it's like it's

00:05:01.180 we should show that because it's unbelievable yeah you know i i don't i don't even know how to

00:05:07.200 how these how this can happen you know and and and you go down the area where an auto zone

00:05:13.480 is on fire and the fire department's not coming if they come they're getting they're getting shot at

00:05:21.680 they're getting things thrown at them we saw this at least with the police at one point there's a guy

00:05:25.940 laying down on the on the ground a police officer stops to help him and they knock his windows in so

00:05:31.520 he has to pull away the hell are you doing like i'm not saying there's rational decision making being 0.98

00:05:37.260 made here obviously there's not but this is it's it's the type of of ridiculous nonsense in a moment 0.96

00:05:43.980 pat where we're all in the moment of like we like puppies we like ice cream everybody agrees on this

00:05:52.620 topic right we're all in the same place this was a terrible thing the police were in the wrong somebody

00:05:58.000 should be charged with some form of murder whatever you decide that is second degree negligent homicide

00:06:03.440 whatever again i'm not a lawyer but i mean i whatever it is to my eye certainly that's what

00:06:07.860 it was they need to be held accountable judicious judiciously and we have a system to deal with this

00:06:13.340 and and and the the and it's being dealt with by the way right there it's this is not one of those

00:06:18.820 situations where these guys are still working there's so much shifts it's not like the the police

00:06:23.700 department is saying oh these guys didn't do anything wrong i haven't even heard the police

00:06:27.540 department defend them no they didn't even they were just following procedure no none of that

00:06:32.800 they're not saying any of it none of it so what are you doing oh you're just messing up your

00:06:39.320 community that's what you're doing you're destroying your community yeah glenn was and the goodwill yeah

00:06:44.520 exactly because glenn used to it used to make this point all the time when we would go out on these

00:06:48.960 marches and stuff for for issues that we thought were important and his case was always we need to be

00:06:54.700 basically perfect when we did the rally in washington dc the idea was no signs don't bring

00:07:02.700 any signs to the rally rally in in washington dc restoring uh honor why because if one person's

00:07:10.440 going to have a sign that's distasteful it's going to be the only thing covered yeah you're afraid that

00:07:13.660 somebody's going to do something goofy yeah somebody's going to have the wrong kind of sign

00:07:18.920 and then that's all people will focus on pick up your trash well that's what's happened now we said

00:07:23.660 pick up your trash because we wanted to show that we could leave that place cleaner than when we got

00:07:28.020 there right yeah and and this goes back to this is not some right-wing tactic this is something that

00:07:33.200 martin luther king uh did focused on all the time saying that you know if we want to win we have to

00:07:39.600 show we're on the right side of this so when we're being attacked by police don't let them get a freeze

00:07:44.040 frame of us fighting back right it was to that extreme you know and you're not going to help your

00:07:49.780 cause by burning down a freaking target how is this possibly something that has to be said

00:07:55.720 i don't know i don't know and you know what i honestly don't know i keep coming to the same 0.85

00:07:59.900 conclusion it's not about helping the cause well yes the people who did those things last night

00:08:04.200 are out there to help themselves they want free crap they know the police are not going to arrest

00:08:09.680 them so they're just stealing things yes period yes 888-727-BECK that and stew for glenn this is

00:08:17.740 the glenn beck program when you log into your computer something weirdly good happens your

00:09:24.060 it's pat and stew for glenn on the glenn back program triple eight seven two seven beck you know it's

00:09:39.940 just really disappointing and uh and really despicable to just burn down your community when

00:09:47.240 this kind of stuff happens and you lose all the goodwill that was i mean again i think we were all

00:09:53.320 pretty much on the same page every reasonable human being right and left and how many things

00:09:58.720 can we get together on yeah right and left we can't even decide on a virus on the right and left

00:10:04.820 we're completely separated on that yeah it surprises me how many people are pro-virus honestly right you

00:10:12.400 know i know so here we are all agreeing this was a despicable act by these four cops and especially

00:10:20.300 the one who had his knee in the guy's throat and suffocated him to death despicable and wrong and

00:10:27.120 he should be in prison after he has his due process and so maybe should the other three for not doing a

00:10:34.040 thing about it so we're all there and then this and it and then you just what are you doing what are

00:10:41.660 you doing how does this help and the problem is the honesty at many in many places are is not going

00:10:47.160 to extend where everybody who is i'm a huge defender of the police there is it is rare that i don't see

00:10:54.540 their side of it even if i don't think they did the right thing i can understand i have i've had

00:10:58.560 relatives who uh who were you know officers and i know what their families feel yeah when they're out

00:11:07.560 and and they don't come home until late at night and they realize they were on some crazy case or some

00:11:11.940 crazy thing happened and they realized they while they were asleep they might have lost their husband

00:11:16.060 or lost their father like the the stresses of that job are intense and sometimes things happen

00:11:25.520 that are not easy as easily explained as the media wants it to be well a white cop does something to

00:11:31.080 a black person they'll show these numbers like oh did you know the police have killed this many people

00:11:35.060 yeah start looking at those cases what you're gonna find is about 98 percent of them were completely

00:11:39.020 justified many of them are weapons pointed at the officer when it happens right so like you can't just

00:11:44.560 throw that stuff out there and make this into some you know endemic situation it's not it's there's

00:11:49.680 not a there is not a um an uh overwhelming uh case to be made that there is some ridiculous high level

00:11:59.520 of violence by police officers towards african americans no the fact is statistics just do not 0.96

00:12:05.340 kill more white people than black people they do and you know we've seen this you can every way you 1.00

00:12:10.460 look at this you find the same thing yeah um to the point of even black officers are more likely 1.00

00:12:16.080 uh you know to get in these situations um when it comes to uh when they when it comes to situations 0.53

00:12:22.360 where there there is a a shooting going on a lot of times black officers are the ones who are are 0.77

00:12:27.460 there and it's about i think it's right around the same percentage as white officers if there's a big

00:12:31.420 racism problem you'd think the white officers would be would be doing at a much higher rate there

00:12:36.120 doesn't seem to be a difference in the rate uh the the point of that it that's a separate larger

00:12:41.120 conversation but we should all be able to to agree on this basic point which is this particular case

00:12:48.900 it looks like there was something very wrong justice should be served here and at the end of that

00:12:56.280 there is a there's that conversation that can be had as to why these situations sometimes happen and

00:13:02.440 why they're reacted to in this way right it's not just the situation happening because look there

00:13:07.340 are murders that happen all the time in this country you know there was people were posting

00:13:12.620 you know one of the only defense i've seen at all and i'll put defense in air quotes of this situation

00:13:17.960 is people are posting other murders where a or other situations where black cops have killed white

00:13:24.400 people in similar situations recently that you never knew about right and like is that true yeah 0.90

00:13:31.280 there's also by the way other examples of of white cops killing black people that you don't hear

00:13:35.760 about you some of these things just break through right the video is probably the biggest reason for

00:13:39.120 this one breaking through yeah but like there's no case to be made that you can take this and broaden

00:13:44.480 it to a giant group like officers like black people like white people you know that is that is what is 0.79

00:13:50.140 wrong here and instead of that being something that we can kind of agree on which is sort of basic logic

00:13:57.440 it's it's nothing advanced instead we're we have people setting communities on fire and who's being

00:14:03.940 punished by this you know i i don't know where the police officers lived but i doubt they lived there

00:14:09.120 yeah you know so what who's getting punished the people who are the victims it's it is insanity insanity

00:15:27.460 it's pat and stew for glenn on the glenbeck program 888-727-BECK uh just a side note here

00:15:48.420 real quick uh the dow is at 27 oh no 25 731 right now 20 it's going back almost to 26 000 it's incredible

00:16:01.860 it was at 29 000 when this started it went all the way down to 18 000 something uh and now already

00:16:09.540 already it's rebound to almost 26 000 it's amazing it's amazing the roller coaster ride on the stock exchange

00:16:19.460 right now a lot of people focus on the the fact that they seem disconnected the the economy in general

00:16:25.740 with people another 2 million unemployed today oh yeah that's 2.1 today which is the lowest number of this

00:16:31.620 situation but also 40 million people in 10 weeks right you know 40 million it's been this has been going on for

00:16:37.320 10 10 weeks the first week was i think it was just partially ramping up so the first one i kind of

00:16:42.640 don't count but in nine weeks it's been about you know right around 40 million uh people and this is

00:16:48.860 the lowest in that nine week span that's the good news the bad news is it's the ninth highest in u.s

00:16:55.200 history yeah it's still five times higher than the highest month right the highest was 800 000 so

00:17:00.420 almost three times uh higher and that's that was just for like one month during the great recession

00:17:04.820 so that what's the disconnect there the disconnect actually i think is good news in this particular

00:17:09.480 case in that the the stock market is predicting what the future is going to be they're not predicting

00:17:15.620 what they're not saying hey we see all these people unemployed they of course see that but the people

00:17:20.200 whose money is on the line believe this is going to bounce back at some point yeah right they're very

00:17:26.480 optimistic i just don't when i see this government money running out and it's going to run out at some

00:17:30.520 point guys it's not going to go forever not as long as the printing machines are plugged in

00:17:34.160 stew we could you spend all you want we'll print more really yeah oh okay well it's like lay's potato

00:17:40.840 chips eat all you want we'll just make more that's what we're doing with our monetary system right now

00:17:46.060 it is it's really wonderful and it really is there's no chance that it stops before november

00:17:50.780 right there's no probably true we've got a presidential election going on no one's going to step in and say

00:17:55.080 by the way all the money is cut off like that's not going to happen at least until november so

00:18:00.300 but eventually it will have to be it has to be cut off at some point what have we we've increased our

00:18:05.940 debt five trillion dollars in two months oh my gosh five we've gone from 20 to 25 trillion in two

00:18:17.820 months that's completely unsustainable and that's more than what the first couple hundred years of our

00:18:25.040 republic yeah what what is the thing we it took from george washington to ronald reagan to get a

00:18:30.420 trillion in debt and then it took from uh reagan to obama to get 10 trillion in debt and now it's

00:18:38.360 taken from obama to trump to go another 15 trillion in debt in the last what 11 years and there's really

00:18:48.240 no insane but we we should be honest about this point there is no party fighting for that at this point

00:18:54.360 no that's right republican democrat neither one cares they don't care now at some level right at

00:19:00.880 this moment i can understand it right in the middle of a pandemic when you're telling people they can't

00:19:06.020 go to work this is the time you're supposed to be able to bridge these caps the problem is when

00:19:11.380 you're 20 trillion dollars in debt at the start of it it's a lot harder to do if we let's just say

00:19:16.060 we had this crazy libertarian version where we're let's we're let's say we're half a trillion dollars

00:19:21.820 in debt and a pandemic hits think of how much easier it would be to deal with these things we

00:19:26.800 could go five trillion dollars in debt and not even care yeah but instead we are already at the brink

00:19:31.740 now we've had to push ourself past the brink and we know the future there's more coming how do you

00:19:37.740 deal with this over a long period of time you don't i mean you frankly don't unless you're going to

00:19:42.200 modern monetary theory which is where we've decided to apparently just experiment and see what

00:19:46.840 happens hey look i know it's a pretty good policy when you think about it just keep printing forever

00:19:51.740 yeah with no repercussions whatsoever it's really good you know because we don't even you throw these

00:19:56.840 numbers numbers around now and we're so cavalier about it yeah it's another trillion dollars in

00:20:00.740 debt we it doesn't even phase us anymore it's like saying yeah uh i just borrowed ten dollars uh from a

00:20:06.920 friend yeah i'll pay it back that's the way it's discussed it's the way it's discussed now but when

00:20:11.020 you put it into perspective a little bit and think about a trillion just one trillion uh if you count

00:20:17.200 backward uh to um a million seconds ago would have been 12 days a million seconds one billion seconds

00:20:27.640 a billion seconds is 31 years jeez one trillion seconds is 31 000 bc

00:20:38.000 a that's how big a stinking trillion is incomprehensible and we don't even consider it

00:20:46.520 no we don't even think about remember remember the fights we had over 780 billion dollars

00:20:52.540 for the stimulus and for obamacare yeah uh we pass these things without even without even votes

00:21:01.240 we're passing multiple trillion dollar bills now it's insanity nobody i mean where are the

00:21:07.500 libertarians here saying uh excuse me i think they're saying it just no one listens to them

00:21:12.380 anymore maybe this is the glenn beck program

00:21:18.020 you've heard me talk to mike lindell and about mike lindell he is the inventor of my pillow and how

00:22:25.300 the break on the glenn beck program it is pat and stew uh for glenn on the glenn beck program he's on

00:22:39.520 vacation this week uh by the way you can check out my show pat gray unleashed right before this show

00:22:44.300 every weekday uh at seven to nine eastern time and i know i do pat i i listen and watch every day

00:22:52.300 i will literally watch the show live then listen back to it from the podcast thank you unbiased

00:22:58.020 listener that's me that's what i do uh also check out stew does america i actually watch that one

00:23:04.700 every day too uh it is on youtube the whole thing though all of it uh yeah oh wow on blaze tv and

00:23:10.700 youtube and podcast just go and subscribe it's uh it's i think you'll like both of the shows a lot

00:23:15.600 uh and uh glenn will be back on uh on monday if you don't so like you can just be like well i don't

00:23:21.600 like those shows whereas glenn he's back on monday we're solving all these problems for you

00:23:26.120 yeah so don't go out every which way don't burn down a target just because glenn's not here today

00:23:30.800 you know or a walmart for that matter yeah that's true we should any big box store should not be

00:23:36.360 lit up lit on fire and i'm somewhat averse to burning down an auto zone as well what about an

00:23:42.860 o'reilly auto parts you know i i'm almost no i'm gonna say it don't do that either wow yeah don't do

00:23:50.440 that that's uh either napa no napa you think no no wow this is an incredibly tough stand you know

00:23:59.220 that's not a hot take coming from pat he's thought that one through yeah that's important yeah yeah

00:24:05.160 there was a time in my life when i didn't care that much about the napa auto parts but then now

00:24:09.240 i do now you do as i've gotten older i've decided no that's not a good idea it's so frustrating and

00:24:15.240 like you just want you want to be able to get through these things in a way that is that that

00:24:21.080 actually helps people like it would be nice to take something out of this where this should not

00:24:26.920 happen again and we should point out the fact that one of the reasons that we know about this stuff is

00:24:33.120 because of the technology that you know that you're burning down at the target and electronic

00:24:38.760 section where they sell phones and the fact that those are distributed to even people who don't

00:24:44.020 not of means people who don't have tons of cash now have this incredible uh device in their pocket

00:24:51.540 and they are able to record these things and i will say too from everything i understand the police had

00:24:57.740 body cameras on too yeah they did fascinating about this and they were activated they thought this would

00:25:03.920 go that's one of the things that baffles me the most because not only did they know their body cams

00:25:09.600 are on they see the bystanders recording them as they're doing this stuff and like we said yesterday

00:25:18.200 even if it's just for your own self-preservation even if you want to you know you just want to keep

00:25:24.020 your career and you don't care about this poor man you're suffocating to death don't you care about

00:25:29.800 your own well-being after this and they disregarded all of that i mean when the guy stops moving

00:25:35.600 especially you don't even stop to check his pulse and make sure he's okay i i don't even understand

00:25:41.500 that i how do you how do you not at least when the guy completely stops moving and doesn't seem to be

00:25:48.660 breathing and everybody's telling you at least check his pulse nope you just sit there you sit there with

00:25:54.660 your knee in his throat for the next four minutes even after that it's unreal comprehensible i feel i

00:26:01.380 feel in some ways as i do when hearing governor northam talk about how after a baby is born it's

00:26:09.800 the mom and dad's choice as to whether they give it any any help yeah you know like that it's that type

00:26:14.660 of thing where you have a person who is who has no chance of life unless you help them and you sit

00:26:22.480 there and you in this case make it worse in northam's case same thing right like you're ending

00:26:27.840 a life that should continue with and this is in a case you forget the abortion debate for a second

00:26:33.340 this is someone who's already been born this is why conservatives were so pissed off about that

00:26:38.080 and like that left's like well come on this is the women's right to choose to choose to kill their 1.00

00:26:43.560 kid after it's born no you don't get that right to choose that's got nothing to do with women's 1.00

00:26:48.140 choice right it's got nothing to do with it and this is a situation here where this like look

00:26:53.480 i am much more likely to see the police officers side that has nothing to do with color that has

00:27:00.840 to do with i believe generally speaking the police are good people and i could butt up with a lot of

00:27:06.240 my you know more hardcore libertarian friends who don't see it that way it hasn't it's not a race

00:27:10.680 thing you know um a lot of libertarians see you know violence from police officers as a as a really

00:27:17.000 and you know large scale problem and i tend to think that generally speaking they're justified

00:27:23.120 after going over the individual cases the the general perception i get is that most of these

00:27:29.820 things wind up being misconstrued for purposes uh like power and and and and racial dynamics and all

00:27:37.160 these things yeah that get played up by you know the whoever the new al sharpton is and so i understand

00:27:43.680 that that all that all happens but looking at this one it's so obvious i have literally not seen

00:27:47.860 anyone not usually you at least see i didn't see any case i didn't see many defenses of uh the ahmaud

00:27:53.680 arbory situation from a couple weeks ago either yeah um but i think a couple people at least attempted

00:27:59.480 that one this one is is just it's a wasteland there's nobody defending these actions nobody i eventually

00:28:06.840 maybe we'll get a case from the police officers that makes it a little bit more muddy especially maybe

00:28:10.600 one of the the people who were there and didn't stop it maybe they have some i can't i don't know

00:28:15.740 what it could be yeah it's hard i mean it's hard to imagine any kind of defense for those guys they

00:28:20.320 they say he was resisting arrest at some point yeah and maybe when he was yanked out of the car he was

00:28:25.460 resisting somewhat i saw that video too now uh yesterday or the day before where you know they

00:28:32.060 seem to struggle a little bit to get him out of the car but then they show multiple times where he's

00:28:38.560 completely complying with everything they say and do to him yeah and and really it doesn't

00:28:44.940 it doesn't matter period when it comes to how how difficult it was to get him into that position

00:28:52.180 once he is in that position leave him alone well yeah at least you don't do you certainly don't do

00:28:58.020 what they did you know you at least again i can understand saying like he's a big guy he could get up

00:29:02.980 he could do things that's all true but that doesn't mean you do this put him in the squad car

00:29:09.020 that's what these things are pick him up and put him in the back of the vehicle till you wait

00:29:13.120 for the the medical services to arrive and frankly like i let's just say this was a situation where

00:29:19.980 this guy tried to resist a lot he may have punched an officer um all of these things and he was a real

00:29:27.980 problem in that case i'm going to be relatively uh sympathetic to an officer who who beats the

00:29:35.680 crap out of the guy for lack of a better uh framing i you know like i i'm not saying like after he's

00:29:41.380 subdued you beat the crap out of him but if there's a an altercation that happens the police officer is 0.99

00:29:46.800 completely justified in defending himself and subduing the the person on the other side of that

00:29:51.900 that was not the case here in any way and you a lot of times the background of this winds up being

00:30:00.060 well he had this legal problem here he is being arrested seven years ago for x y and z and all

00:30:05.700 that stuff is irrelevant irrelevant in this case we think of of of our of our military these guys go

00:30:13.640 into areas where they're arresting isis people who are on video lighting christians on fire in cages

00:30:23.000 who have murdered people they know and in almost all cases what happens they said if they were to

00:30:31.100 subdue them they're not doing remember it was a big scandal when they did naked pyramids around them

00:30:35.520 when they when they put they had dogs barking at them the entire nation was in was up was in uproar

00:30:42.340 why because when we get to a position at least in our country when we get to a position where the 0.97

00:30:48.420 person is subdued we do not continue to beat the crap out of them and to kill them that's just not

00:30:55.740 what we do here it happens all over the world doesn't happen here we don't that's not part of

00:30:59.420 our culture and it's something that we all stand up against to the point of when with these military

00:31:05.000 guys with every justification to just put a gun to the guy's head and pull the trigger every

00:31:10.420 justification when you're talking about isis or al-qaeda or one of these groups and they don't do

00:31:15.620 it because they are expected to have an immense almost inhuman amount of restraint and that's so

00:31:24.800 that the argument of this guy may have and we haven't even seen that with this guy really but if there was

00:31:30.020 an argument that he had done other things in the past or there was a more resisting at a previous

00:31:35.000 moment in this altercation that's just not material to what you see on this video this is why i can't

00:31:40.680 even come up with a justification i cannot come up with an argument for the police on this one i

00:31:45.200 can't um and like you've said we've defended the police on so many occasions i mean the hands up

00:31:51.600 don't shoot thing which didn't even happen the guy wasn't saying hands up don't shoot my hands are up

00:31:56.180 don't shoot he wasn't even saying that he was coming at the police officer trying to attack him at the

00:32:00.440 time which is why we oppose those sorts of movements because they were based on fallacy yep this one we

00:32:06.360 agree with you it was terrible it was tragic it was uncalled for the guy's a criminal and what happens

00:32:13.840 from here because you're right what's going to happen is we're all going to basically ignore this

00:32:18.900 massive amount of common ground that we have on the story yeah and instead we are going to go to

00:32:24.900 another part of the story which we should have the equal amount of common ground on every left-wing

00:32:31.060 leader every black leader everybody in black lives matter should stand up at the top of their lawn these 0.99

00:32:36.720 bastards for screwing up this what what we should be focusing on which is this guy's life 0.99

00:32:42.400 instead they're stealing televisions from target but what will happen is conservatives will come out 0.99

00:32:48.120 and say you know what that's wrong and the left you will have large chunks of people who will say

00:32:52.860 well you know what that's justified because you don't understand what the what the pressures of

00:32:56.560 this and blah blah blah blah blah it's the only thing they have it's the only means they have

00:33:00.840 yeah to express themselves no it's not no no it is not not i'm sorry stealing a television

00:33:06.160 from target yeah it's not expression no no it is not it's not expression that's not free speech

00:33:10.720 no we've come to the point where we're calling porn free speech but stealing a television is not

00:33:14.440 free speech can't go with you there uh mike in colorado you're on the glenbeck program with pat and stew

00:33:19.840 hey good morning fellas hey taking my call up i'm sorry if i sound a little muffled i have to

00:33:26.620 work with a mask on so okay yes i got a couple thoughts about the stuff that happened last night

00:33:33.800 um one thing is is i don't think there's a darn person that was at those riots last night that's 0.99

00:33:39.080 listening to the show this morning how dare you you bastard uh but not much of a leap there 0.98

00:33:46.160 you're probably right yeah but what there is was all day yesterday and even so far today 0.99

00:33:52.200 are a lot of the black leaders that you just spoke of kind of adding fuel to that fire saying that

00:33:58.520 it's time we get hours it's time we light this mfr up and a lot of stuff that's incredibly incendiary

00:34:05.280 where it could be the message that you just spoke of of hey this this sets us back it sets us back even

00:34:12.160 further in this cause and uh you know use that energy a little more effectively um yeah that's

00:34:19.800 exactly right that's a great point and yeah and i will say uh you know he's completely right on that

00:34:27.100 first of all i will say the like for example the elderly woman uh in the wheelchair that was

00:34:31.120 beaten in the middle of the rally she might be a listener so if you're a listener feel free to call

00:34:35.180 we'd love to hear from you if you if you can speak and i will say that you know there is uh that

00:34:40.640 is true we are seeing some of that out there it's it's a terrible instinct a terrible instinct this

00:34:48.180 has to be uh pushed down um you know we and i will say this too covet 19 has been tragic uh the mask

00:34:58.620 thing if we have muffled calls on talk shows that's completely unacceptable as a nation we need to rise up

00:35:05.340 and burn down every target in america until there are no more masked phone calls on talk shows

00:35:10.680 that's a joke and don't do it because i realized i could see myself in a legal proceeding that you

00:35:17.200 have to say that that's america 2020 thank you you're listening to glenn back

00:36:45.260 pat you're talking about an issue with uh michael jordan's documentary yeah uh michael jordan said

00:36:52.380 on his documentary uh the last dance that he didn't keep isaiah thomas on if you're not familiar

00:36:58.920 of the michael jordan isaiah thomas dynamic they hate each other yeah they're not friends

00:37:04.140 jordan definitely hates thomas thomas seems a little bit more restrained right and i don't i don't know

00:37:09.000 if it stems from the you know the competition they had with the pistons and the balls or where

00:37:15.420 it comes from but they don't jordan doesn't law does not like him and that's pretty clear and when

00:37:20.020 he talks about him on the documentary it's pretty clear but what he what he said was he did not have

00:37:26.980 anything to do with isaiah thomas not being included on the 1992 dream team hmm well we got a little

00:37:34.120 we got a little audio here that might lead you to believe something else here is uh michael jordan

00:37:41.000 talking about speaking with rod thorn who um was one of the one of the higher ups in the decision

00:37:49.780 makers in the process of deciding who was on the dream team listen to this they called me to ask me to

00:37:55.140 blow rod thorn call to rock i love the way of isaiah thomas so he's saying they called me to ask how i

00:38:02.220 would feel about isaiah thomas being on the dream team and he said i won't play if he's on

00:38:08.240 so again it's a little hard to understand because it's not great quality but he said rod thorn called

00:38:19.180 me i said rod i won't play if isaiah thomas is on the team he assured me he said you know what

00:38:25.000 chuck doesn't want isaiah either so isaiah is not going to be part of the team well i mean that does

00:38:31.140 sort of back up what he said right which was that it it wasn't his decision right it wasn't about him

00:38:36.320 doing it if chuck if the coach doesn't want the guy and the coach is the guy who was coaching isaiah

00:38:41.120 thomas chuck was his coach although would they have put isaiah thomas on the team if michael jordan

00:38:47.000 didn't didn't object my guess is yes well i think they would but what at least what his case is there is

00:38:52.880 that thorn was saying the answer to that was no maybe yeah maybe i mean they were saying that possible

00:38:59.020 maybe they had a dynamic i mean look these teams fight you know the famously jordan fought with his

00:39:04.180 general manager uh very possible that you know the coach and isaiah thomas didn't get along then and

00:39:10.240 neither one of them wanted them on i mean it certainly didn't help isaiah thomas get on the

00:39:14.060 team that jordan didn't want him on the team you could also maybe make the case that they didn't need

00:39:19.200 him on the team either way it did pretty well kind of worked out yeah uh without isaiah don't sneer

00:39:25.000 michael jordan what'd you get that from lebronjames.com all right 888-727-BECK

00:39:32.340 more pat and stew for glenn coming up this week featuring pat and stew for glenn who's on vacation

00:39:40.740 so the parades for the 100 000 death mark have been happening in the mainstream media

00:39:48.960 uh that's a hell of a way to put it yes i mean they they love that number they love it and because

00:39:56.620 why they can beat trump over the head with it i think that's the full reasoning behind it yeah they

00:40:03.120 are treating it a little bit like the bicentennial which is not yes they should feel like that no i

00:40:08.720 don't think it should either uh that's the only reason though i can come up with right i mean

00:40:12.280 they do seem to just think well this looks bad for trump because and again there's a lot of

00:40:19.300 question marks associated with this argument because it doesn't make any sense trump has not

00:40:23.460 is not led every part of this it is a state-by-state response uh there have been some things you can be

00:40:29.720 critical of there would be a lot of things i think you can also look at and say have gone pretty well

00:40:34.300 we're in the middle of the pack worldwide when it comes to per capita death rate we're not at the

00:40:38.380 bottom we're not at the top you know we didn't do as well as countries that have authoritarian regimes

00:40:42.600 and can just lock other people away and lie and lie about the real right i mean you gotta do a lot

00:40:47.200 does anybody believe china has around 5 000 deaths from this i i'm pleased that's preposterous preposterous

00:40:53.420 and even that remember it was only 3 000 a little while ago and then oh yeah we're adding a couple

00:40:58.480 thousand you know like we all know it's higher right much even if you were to argue they locked down so

00:41:04.760 hard that they were able to control it within their borders in the time in between when people

00:41:09.700 left left there were breakouts outside of of the country people were coming back in yes there would

00:41:16.580 be it's quite clear and and there have been estimates of tens of thousands more um you know

00:41:22.100 it's funny uh you mentioned china because i had this thought yesterday because we're talking about

00:41:25.680 brazil on stew does america by the way you can subscribe to that on youtube or on a podcast also pat

00:41:30.620 gray unleashed i was uh i was looking at brazil and we're doing something on that brazil is basically

00:41:36.240 the hot point of the world right now you know the united states is on a decline we're opening up we're

00:41:42.380 doing these things brazil is where we were in like the second week of april you know the absolute like

00:41:50.020 increasing every day they actually passed us in daily death rate uh two days ago um although we took you

00:41:57.940 know we took the title took the title back yesterday and we know we have a lot more people

00:42:02.060 than they do you'd expect it to be slightly higher but they're in real trouble like and they don't have

00:42:06.020 the medical system that we do they think there's already 30 000 people who have died there they

00:42:11.920 believe it's much much much higher than that in reality and i thought to myself it's weird that the

00:42:18.360 the global hot spot would be brazil and yet i hadn't heard anything about venezuela now venezuela

00:42:26.820 can barely keep people alive in normal times nothing they're not getting any effects from

00:42:32.100 this at all what is going on and so i started doing some research on it and there's actually a

00:42:36.620 new report out um from johns hopkins about venezuela how many do they claim how have that have died from

00:42:42.740 the virus so they have a population of 30 million people right so far covid 19 deaths in venezuela

00:42:48.280 10 10 deaths just 10 not 10 000 not 10 million 10 10 people 10 people have died so far doing a

00:42:56.580 pretty good job they must be doing a great job right not lying to us or just letting people die

00:43:01.180 and never figuring it out uh so they did they say they've only had 1 121 cases which is i mean

00:43:08.420 obviously ridiculous right we all know that that's ridiculous they've decided now to go in they've talked

00:43:13.300 to the doctors on the ground they've tried to do a study to estimate where they actually are they 0.88

00:43:18.260 believe there are 30 000 more deaths than they're reporting wow 30 000 more covid deaths now that is

00:43:26.800 that would make them a massive hot spot we have no idea what's happening you know it's interesting when

00:43:32.140 you look at the numbers from around the world we are all focusing on numbers of countries that are

00:43:37.400 relatively toward the you know the top of the economic chain that have well-developed health

00:43:44.620 systems that are reporting their data i mean china is an exception because of of the authoritarian nature

00:43:50.220 of of their government but there are a lot of countries out there that are reporting their data i think the

00:43:55.600 best way that they can um it's the the situation is there are two-thirds of the nations on earth that

00:44:02.300 would not fall into that category and there's like the entire continent of africa what's going on there

00:44:07.160 we know we've had outbreaks in specific areas but there have not been we have no concept of what's going

00:44:13.520 on there there are some reasons to believe it's not as bad in a situation like that because people are

00:44:17.700 spread out naturally and there's some things that could play into that but you know you look at some

00:44:21.780 some of the cities they're very jam-packed you know uh i believe it was in india where they were saying

00:44:27.700 one of the doctors in india was saying look social distancing we know it sucks for you but like that's a

00:44:32.640 luxury we all we have like eight people in this room there's no social distancing that happens

00:44:38.360 yeah we can't we don't we're not going to get a trillion dollar bailout from our government we're

00:44:42.600 just going to wind up having to deal with this on our own and those some of those places have really

00:44:46.540 flared up out of control for understandable reasons they already had problems in these countries and and

00:44:52.000 this is just making it a lot worse but the our our um when we passed i think it was spain in daily uh

00:45:00.800 death count when spain was number one and then we came up and passed them that was something that was

00:45:05.940 going on the front page of papers that was something that was discussed by the media like crazy this is

00:45:10.700 this is horrific and we know we know whose fault it is it's the orange guy in the white house

00:45:15.560 and when that we reversed and it was brazil it wasn't either not mentioned at all which was in

00:45:22.620 most cases or they said brazil passed us by the way their president is basically donald trump because

00:45:28.900 they like to say that about the brazilian president he's right he's very well aligned with donald trump

00:45:32.460 he's he's a populist like donald trump he's doing the same things donald trump is doing

00:45:35.860 so how these stories it's incredible they find a way to tie them to uh to donald trump in every way

00:45:43.700 and to go back quickly to what we were talking about last hour you know who hasn't really been

00:45:48.320 tied to the story yet is donald trump why he said yesterday made a statement that said the doj and

00:45:55.420 the fbi or whatever i think he said the doj was was investigating this and we will get justice

00:46:01.460 that's been his only comment about it so his comment has not been able to advance the narrative that he's

00:46:06.160 horrible so therefore he's just not associated with the story yet when he says something out of line

00:46:11.220 with what he's supposed to say he will become the only story if he said nothing yesterday he would

00:46:16.020 be it would be a big story today of why is the president silent on this death well the banner

00:46:20.120 on cnn all morning long up until and i don't think it's there right now yeah but the u.s surpasses

00:46:27.320 a hundred thousand deaths in less than four months that is the banner the banner they had most of two

00:46:32.560 hours while i was on the air this morning was trump silent as 100 000 plus americans die from

00:46:39.520 coronavirus wait wait he's been talking about this constantly he was doing press conferences

00:46:44.020 every day it didn't start with 100 000 he's been commenting all along unbelievable and i guess you

00:46:51.000 have to comment uh every round number we hit now or something um but do you know there are there are

00:46:59.440 600 000 people that die from cancer every single year and heart disease too and heart disease and car

00:47:06.820 accidents and i guess it doesn't those people don't matter at all because you're not asking him

00:47:11.740 to comment on that no is it worse if you die from coronavirus than if you die from cancer

00:47:16.600 no are you super dead from coronavirus and only mostly dead with uh cancer i mean there are different

00:47:24.700 problems right uh you know you're not necessarily going to go in and catch cancer at a restaurant i

00:47:30.380 understand the differences here and look this has been four months so the pace is high

00:47:34.800 yeah and it spreads it's an infectious disease this is different than all these comparisons but

00:47:40.320 you're right it is not it is not something that is is put in person into perspective uh by the media

00:47:46.620 he's talked about it they were complaining he was talking about it too much in the press conferences

00:47:49.780 right remember that that was a big story they're not even covering the press which he stopped doing

00:47:53.820 and then they were pissed about that then they were pissed about that right that's the that's the

00:47:57.400 issue here is this is just a tool for them it's not just a tool for them but it's the way

00:48:02.600 they're utilizing it yeah they are it is a i you know it's a real issue but they do not

00:48:07.220 they don't seem to care about the issue as much as they care about getting this guy

00:48:11.280 this guy who's in their head all the time they got to get them out of their head if they could

00:48:15.700 just get them out of office he'll be out of their head forever i swear that's the way they look at

00:48:18.840 these stories every day no doubt about it 888-727-BECK it's Pat and Stu for Glenn this week

00:49:31.940 it's pat and super glenn triple a 727 beck uh this south america thing is uh pretty interesting

00:49:48.480 because you've got these countries that are you know fairly close to each other and handling things

00:49:53.820 um completely differently like uh jair bolsonaro the president of of brazil

00:50:00.900 has and this is why they love to compare him to trump because they think he's i mean this guy is so

00:50:07.080 far beyond anything donald trump does to make people angry oh yeah he was asked by a reporter

00:50:12.320 a couple of weeks ago about the death toll and the because the reporter said the death toll was

00:50:18.040 i don't remember what i think it was 5 000 at the time do you know 5 000 people have died from

00:50:22.420 coronavirus bolsonaro's response was so what it's not so what they don't teach you that in the

00:50:29.960 politician's handbook no they really don't and then he went on to say i'm sorry what do you want

00:50:34.080 me to do about it what uh okay the president may not be the best response to that question uh if you

00:50:43.760 want to continue your presidency if you work for a crisis pr firm they may say probably don't do that

00:50:49.820 one actually that was one of the stories yesterday is they think uh bolsonaro might be the first

00:50:53.520 leader to go down because of this uh he's talking about removing him from office yeah yeah i mean

00:50:59.300 look he's been there's been a lot of this that's gone on particularly in south america um where the

00:51:05.020 leader has been very bold and just said you know what i'm going out i'm gonna have rallies and i'm

00:51:09.720 not gonna wear a mask and i'm gonna shake everybody's hands and kiss everybody like i normally do and 0.61

00:51:13.160 nothing's gonna change and you should do that too and we say like ecuador for example has had a flare-up

00:51:18.820 that's worse than almost any city in in the earth they're the one city that they had the their really

00:51:24.180 bad outbreak was worse than almost every city on earth uh you know you have brazil was really is

00:51:29.060 really really bad mexico's had its problems and again we know as you go down the economic scale

00:51:34.720 the less reporting you're getting on these numbers you're not getting you're getting less and less

00:51:39.280 accurate numbers um and that's what's happening right now i still worry and this is something that

00:51:45.220 i have not heard too many people talk about but as this situation with not just covid19 as a as a

00:51:52.760 virus but also the economic uh ramifications attached to it as that settles in and people are ready and

00:52:00.220 willing to go back out of their houses over the next six months i really worry about the border

00:52:06.280 we have all of these countries that were already coming across the border when things were normal

00:52:13.400 if their society is ravaged from economic deficits because of this and not to mention potential

00:52:20.000 massive outbreaks of virus they're going to want to get their kids their families across the border 0.98

00:52:25.420 into this country where we're just doling out trillions of dollars to help everybody you want

00:52:30.240 to be interesting to see the democrats reaction to that too when that if when that happens and it will

00:52:34.500 happen whether they care uh then about people coming across the border and we don't know who they are we

00:52:40.080 don't know where they're going we don't know where they've been and we don't know what kind of diseases

00:52:44.460 they're carrying with them exactly will it matter to you then or i mean you can't quarantine millions

00:52:50.420 of people hundreds of thousands of people coming across the border we saw how that went when we had

00:52:54.880 the a bunch of people crossing a couple years ago that was the whole kids in cages situation which

00:52:59.720 was not happening but still that was that was the that was that big controversy imagine that and

00:53:04.640 throwing a an infectious disease like picture you're from a city that's having an outbreak

00:53:10.240 like the city in ecuador i was just talking about what are you going to do you're going to try to get

00:53:16.200 the hell away from there right and then even if we are able to push this down and and get rid of the

00:53:22.000 virus so it's not a huge part of our everyday life if people are coming across the border from

00:53:26.180 infected places it's not going to matter we're it's going to start all over again yes and i i keep i keep

00:53:32.980 coming back to this and i don't know that we've seen massive parts of it yet uh largely i think

00:53:37.400 because people you know don't want to go anywhere right now um but at some point i think that is a

00:53:41.840 real worry hopefully it doesn't turn out to be one but the border is something that we have not heard

00:53:45.560 a lot of focus on and i i think if it does become an issue trump will be focused on it that's one thing

00:53:49.960 you can count on yeah so i i just that is a that's a worry that i think we haven't even started to

00:53:56.080 contemplate yet more in 60 seconds so what's the number one sign of a bad home security system

00:54:10.280 a home security system that is so complicated that you never use it that is exactly the type

00:54:15.500 of security system that simply safe has spent a decade fighting against they believe that simpler

00:54:21.680 is safer and it's exactly why simply safe is the home security for right now when feeling safe at

00:54:28.900 home has never been more important simply safe is there simply safe was designed to be easy to use

00:54:35.460 while protecting your whole home 24 7 you can order online with a click of a button nobody's coming to

00:54:40.840 your house you open a box place the sensors up plug it in and your home is protected around the clock

00:54:46.220 no technician no sales people they don't disrupt your life and you don't need to pay any outrageous

00:54:51.620 monthly fees or sign a two-year contract this is why simply safe was named best overall home

00:54:57.020 security of 2020 by u.s news and world report head to simply safe beck.com and get a free hd camera

00:55:02.840 just because you listen to my show at simply safe beck.com

00:55:06.480 it's pat and stew for glenn on the glenn beck program he's on vacation this week

00:55:21.300 uh a good indication of how the media is handling this milestone the hundred thousand death milestone

00:55:27.580 from coronavirus ryan lizza of politico during the white house uh press conference yesterday

00:55:34.560 uh with kaylee mckinney unbelievable question watch the watch what he asks uh the white house

00:55:43.280 spokesperson when voters go to the polls in november and they want to judge the president

00:55:48.720 on his response to this pandemic what is the number of dead americans that they should

00:55:53.340 tolerate as happened and where they can argue that yes he successfully defeated the pandemic

00:55:59.640 i think um you know you're asking the wrong question the right question is where did where

00:56:03.560 did the data and i answered your question once but if you ask it twice it doesn't make it any

00:56:09.820 better of a question so i'll respond in time i've given you one answer i'll continue to extrapolate

00:56:14.480 upon that that he always listened to the science the president when dr fauci and dr burke said

00:56:18.920 you need to shut down the economy that was hard for the president you know in a typical year

00:56:22.720 120 000 people die of suicide and drug overdose it's in a typical year and doctors have said when you

00:56:29.220 shut down an economy for an extended period of time that number gets greater people don't show up for

00:56:33.440 their cancer diagnoses there are a litany of results when you close down an economy but closing down

00:56:38.960 the economy for this amount of time kept us far below the 2.2 million number as we start to reopen

00:56:44.380 we keep in mind the people who are missing their screening appointments the people who are not who

00:56:49.580 are succumbing to suicide and drug overdose because of economic hardship this president made the right

00:56:54.400 choice uh it was a delicate balance and he did it exactly as he should guided by data and we are far

00:57:00.140 below 2.2 million dead americans because of the actions of president trump you mean

00:57:04.760 and that was a charitable a response i think to ryan lizard one of one of the most blatant

00:57:10.540 mindless partisan hack questions you can what kind of what number is going to be acceptable or

00:57:18.140 what he said the first time when he phrased the question because he asked it twice just slightly

00:57:22.780 differently what will be a successful number for this president to be re-elected well i mean what

00:57:29.740 an asinine question that is there is no acceptable number of course not and it's it's not donald trump

00:57:36.280 that's going out and killing these people yeah no it's it's it's interesting too to see how this 0.93

00:57:41.260 has developed over time because at the beginning these donald trump came out on stage and he said

00:57:46.580 all our models indicate there will be between 100 000 and 240 000 deaths if if we act we're going to

00:57:55.340 try to hold it under that we're going to do our best to get it less than that but that's that's what

00:57:58.980 the models show and honestly like i at the time was like a hundred thousand that seems impossible

00:58:04.920 i i i did not believe it would get that high frankly i didn't either i didn't i didn't and neither

00:58:10.280 didn't almost anybody else i mean a lot of people now are claiming that they understood this thing

00:58:13.960 it's like you go back and look at the polls in march 11th they did a poll about how many people

00:58:19.440 would die in the united states uh what do you think it is they asked american people 87 percent of people

00:58:24.500 said it would be less than 10 000 87 percent we just we none of us had an idea that it would be like

00:58:32.160 this and it's all okay that's okay honestly we're not the experts it's understandable that we wouldn't

00:58:37.200 understand how bad this would get but you know look they came out there and they said 100 000 i remember

00:58:42.060 thinking like that's just ridiculous it's not going to get to that level well here we are we're at that

00:58:46.240 level at the time back then the left was saying to us why doesn't he believe why don't why don't you

00:58:51.200 guys believe in science the science is saying this is what the models are going to do you're going to

00:58:56.020 have a hundred thousand people dead and it's like well let's look at the models for because we tend on

00:59:00.840 the on on the conservative side to say come on like these experts they're driving me nuts

00:59:05.400 they're they're being alarmist step back for a second and think about this from the the scientific

00:59:12.560 left-wing perspective for a second because i think and you heard kaylee do it there i think embracing

00:59:18.800 that analysis is a smart thing uh politically for the president most certainly and it's an

00:59:24.540 interesting exercise for us to go through as well if you look at this situation as the scientists laid

00:59:30.020 it out about 2.2 million people were going to die in the united states if we didn't do anything

00:59:34.620 donald trump stepped up and took unthinkable actions right unprecedented closed the economy

00:59:42.860 for six weeks minimum during the election year this guy everybody says all he cares about is his own power

00:59:49.320 all he cares about is the economy he came in and shut down the united states for six weeks during an

00:59:54.760 election he took it that seriously yeah and so where do we end up it looks like we're going to

01:00:00.120 be right in the original range that he stood on stage and told us about so yes we'd all like it to be

01:00:06.300 zero deaths however you can make a real argument that would be a successful uh number yes that would

01:00:11.720 be the best for ryan lizza yes it would be the best number yes uh which is fascinating by the way i guess

01:00:16.840 he lizza came through his whole me too situation okay he's back out uh as a correspondent which is i didn't

01:00:23.140 i hadn't followed that story but i guess he i know he was let go of the new yorker uh for sexual

01:00:27.860 misconduct but i guess he's been able to write to uh catch back on with i guess politico i think he's

01:00:32.820 with now yes he is um so yeah that's i mean again i don't i don't know all the details of that situation

01:00:37.020 but not a lot of people on the right have bounced back i wonder what would be an acceptable number of

01:00:43.220 sexual harassment cases for ryan lizza what would you could ryan what would you consider successful

01:00:48.620 in sexually harassing women this is the glenn beck program 1.00

01:00:55.200 just because you can boil water doesn't mean you should run a restaurant and the same logic goes

01:01:01.760 for identity theft protection you may be good at monitoring your credit but that doesn't make you

01:01:06.560 an authority on it plus with data breaches that seem to happen more and more your personal information

01:01:11.640 could end up anywhere and with your breached information criminals can commit identity theft which

01:01:17.460 is even more reason to use a pro because on your own you can miss certain identity threats like

01:01:22.760 someone taking out a payday loan in your name or selling your information on the dark web

01:01:26.640 that's where lifelock comes in they see a wide range of identity threats now nobody can prevent

01:01:32.340 all identity theft or monitor all transactions at all businesses but if you end up with an identity

01:01:37.200 theft issue a dedicated team of specialists will work with you to fix it so keep boiling water like a

01:01:44.580 champ but leave the identity theft protection to lifelock join now and save up to 25 off your first year

01:01:50.880 go to lifelock.com use the promo code back that's lifelock.com promo code back for 25 off

01:01:57.360 your daily antidote to the socialism virus you're listening to the glenn beck program join the conversation

01:02:05.200 888-727-BECK

01:02:07.200 patent stew for glenn on the glenn beck program he's on vacation this week 888-727-BECK

01:02:21.020 in addition to the cdc changing its position again on surface infection experts are now saying experts are now

01:02:31.720 saying the six feet of distance thing the social distancing must stay six feet away from everybody

01:02:38.280 yeah that that might not be enough either to prevent transmission

01:02:41.860 okay so there's really nothing we know for sure right where there's really nothing that you're absolutely

01:02:50.200 positive on that we can take to the bank and say okay if i do this i'm not gonna get it

01:02:54.520 uh it's really amazing these confusing mixed signals you might remember uh also concerning

01:03:04.840 the use of masks and whether or not that was a smart thing in february surgeon general jerome

01:03:11.540 adams tweeted masks are quote not effective in preventing the general public from catching coronavirus

01:03:18.200 uh that was in february in march dr anthony fauci said on 60 minutes that the general public

01:03:25.300 quote should not be walking around with masks

01:03:28.540 hmm all right in april when the virus outbreak was worsening in the united states president trump

01:03:36.360 recommended the use of uh cloth face coverings outside the home but he made that clear that

01:03:40.720 he wouldn't follow that recommendation and there's no evidence that a cloth mask is effective

01:03:45.560 i don't know if there's evidence that any mask is effective maybe a gas mask maybe you can walk

01:03:52.200 around with a world war one style gas mask and and maybe that would protect you a little bit but i

01:03:59.180 wouldn't even take that one to the bank uh it's it's very confusing right now what we're going through

01:04:06.520 and who to listen to i i have no idea only about half of americans by the way say they would get a

01:04:14.060 covid 19 vaccine if scientists who are working furiously to create one even succeed surprisingly

01:04:23.700 low considering the effort going into the global race for a vaccine against the virus um but more

01:04:30.940 people might eventually roll up their sleeves and and get into this thing and just and create a

01:04:36.280 vaccine i mean we're already doing a manhattan style project to develop a vaccine with i forget how

01:04:42.680 many companies exactly are working on this i think the number is somewhere close to 80 80 different

01:04:48.980 companies uh that are trying to come up with one but this poll that was released this week found 31

01:04:55.280 percent of people 31 percent of americans just aren't sure if they'd even get vaccinated and another

01:05:01.400 one in five just said absolutely they won't be vaccinated i'd like to hear your thoughts on that

01:05:06.540 888-727-BECK if there is a vaccine that's developed i asked this question on pat grand leashed a couple of

01:05:17.020 weeks ago if there is a vaccine developed would you would you be willing to get that vaccine

01:05:25.880 you know there's a lot of people who who don't like vaccines who are skeptical of vaccines there was a

01:05:33.640 whole movement about whether or not they cause uh you know autism or other maladies in us or who

01:05:41.960 knows what they're doing with the vaccine people just don't trust the government

01:05:44.740 certainly don't trust them implicitly and many of us don't trust them at all because they've proven

01:05:54.460 themselves untrustworthy to us how many i mean countless times countless times and then the science of

01:06:02.220 it we're always told the science believe the science we're following the science well the

01:06:05.800 scientists don't even know how many times have we seen that over the last several months and gotten

01:06:11.080 conflicting information we just went over some of it so if and when a vaccine is there and it is

01:06:18.720 presented to you and it's available will you take it now an interesting uh side note to that is

01:06:28.120 if if they force you to take it will you take it if the men if the if the u.s government mandates

01:06:37.420 that in order to be a citizen in good standing or maybe they just say in order to co-mingle with

01:06:43.040 people at work you gotta you gotta get a vaccine will you then get the vaccine 888-727-BECK

01:06:52.020 it's an interesting question do i think they're going to mandate it i don't think they don't think

01:06:58.300 so i think they will that's interesting i don't think they will i think enough people will want

01:07:03.480 to take it that will be fun we'll be in that herd immunity world anyway well they mandate it for kids

01:07:08.040 to go to school because they mandate vaccines already if you don't have if you're not caught up

01:07:11.980 on your vaccine sorry that we the kids can't come to school so with the addendum at the end of that

01:07:16.620 being to go to school like with a condition i don't think they would mandate it and that you

01:07:21.140 have to have it but i think they will say to go to public school right we are requiring it what about

01:07:26.460 to go to work if you want to go into work around your fellow employees you got to get a vaccine i

01:07:31.580 think a bunch of companies will will say if you want companies that's a different deal yeah i don't

01:07:36.140 think i don't think the you don't think government will do that i don't i i think if you know look if

01:07:41.360 you look at the flu vaccine right we we hit about 50 percent of people hit the flu have the flu but

01:07:47.420 still you know killing a bunch of people every year yeah but there is a you know when there's an

01:07:51.720 option for you to be vaccinated and it's not perfectly effective at all but it is one of those

01:07:56.400 things where people you know about half the country takes it um they don't mandate that it's it's

01:08:01.380 possible 50 get the flu vaccine it's about half yeah it's about half the country now if you could get

01:08:06.200 look it depends on how good this vaccine is if it comes out and we believe right that it is

01:08:14.300 effective let's just say there's a situation where the science looks really great there's no one really

01:08:19.120 disagreeing it you know both sides donald trump and you know and nancy pelosi are both saying this is

01:08:24.000 it's actually came out great we're really thrilled with it and it's helping people all over the world

01:08:28.140 there's not that because a lot of this i think comes down to sort of tribal sort of partisan divides

01:08:32.880 right where the person telling you is someone you hate so like donald trump is saying take this

01:08:38.820 vaccine and everyone on the left is like i would never take a vaccine from you you know but if we

01:08:43.300 were in that position where we really believed it was effective i think people would take it

01:08:46.620 if it's bipartisan yeah you'd be more likely to yeah i mean i i i wouldn't i know i would we're doing

01:08:54.060 this all the time already you do we are all in this world doing an analysis on the fly trying to

01:09:01.220 understand a lot of information about something that we weren't thinking about six months ago at

01:09:06.860 all right and trying to decipher what we can and can't do right now i think most people in the

01:09:12.040 audience would say i'm not going to a crowded bar for multiple hours with bad ventilation with no mask

01:09:20.480 right like most people i think would say that like yeah you know i i don't i don't want to risk that

01:09:24.320 right on the other side i think most people would say i'm gonna go to the park and play with my kid

01:09:29.720 and have absolutely no problem right and we're all making those determinations as we go some people

01:09:34.620 like i i had a conversation with a friend of mine who who works remotely uh for a company and he would

01:09:41.020 typically work at like a starbucks and so this has happened and he's been forced to work at home every

01:09:46.100 day um and luckily he's in an industry that that was relatively protected um from the economic

01:09:52.600 consequences so he's able to hold on to his job and now restaurants are starting to open so i think the

01:09:57.940 starbucks has started to open they have outdoor tables now where you can go and sit and work and

01:10:02.620 so he was just kind of like surveying his friends and saying what do you think is it can i go back

01:10:08.820 like is it a good idea so he asked me and i said i'm honestly overwhelmingly confident with anything

01:10:16.140 outdoors like i yeah there it's that's not perfect science but i'm pretty confident would that include

01:10:21.760 a football game you know i am out of the mainstream and saying that i am much closer to believing that's

01:10:29.360 okay than than most people i think they're going to stop with large gatherings because they're worried

01:10:33.920 about massive spreads but especially if you were to limit the seating like you know they were talking

01:10:39.000 about the oh is it ohio state it was one of the there's one uh one of the college football teams

01:10:46.180 that has massive um stadium it may have been ohio state but it was somebody like that and they have

01:10:51.300 you know 90 100 000 people and they say they say we can get 20 000 people in here without even getting

01:10:58.080 anybody close to each other so why wouldn't we do that now that's not going to be a full stadium but

01:11:02.520 20 000 people is not zero dollars right um so they're trying to to they're trying to say that that's

01:11:08.380 okay like i mean i went i went to a dallas mavericks game three or four days before they they

01:11:14.800 canceled the nba season oh um i was there oh wow i think that especially the the bigger the venue the

01:11:21.400 more bet the well well ventilated yeah um and outdoors especially outdoors it is i think it's

01:11:28.040 tough for this to be passed but again it's up to what your risk tolerance is and what you've decided

01:11:32.680 the information another one of the friends he asked works in manhattan and it's like i wouldn't do it

01:11:39.520 yet his perception of what is going on is completely different than mine living in texas we have

01:11:44.680 not felt a lot of repercussions there's not been a lot of deaths here we've done very very well

01:11:49.480 through this thing i think the evidence overwhelmingly shows outdoors is pretty safe

01:11:54.100 and close contact for long periods of time in in close quarters particularly inside in areas that

01:12:01.920 aren't well ventilated or have ventilation systems that are recirculating the air without filtering it

01:12:06.860 those are those are danger areas yeah but that that i think that is that where what people will do

01:12:13.340 with the vaccine they will look at all the information there will be bad information on

01:12:17.480 the internet there will be good information on the internet everyone will try to to to to work

01:12:21.860 through that and try to understand what the best thing to do is for them and their family that's

01:12:25.740 probably the right approach right yeah like i think that's the american approach you know the

01:12:30.200 american approach is not like uh you know a president you know xi saying we're going to weld you into

01:12:37.420 your apartments to get rid of this virus right like that's not the american approach the american

01:12:42.760 approach is and i think this has been really effective around the world give the american

01:12:47.480 people give the people of any population good reliable information that you're not changing every

01:12:53.160 three days and then let them decide and let them decide and follow it most likely they will

01:12:58.020 yeah most likely they will and that is i think you it's tough to figure these things out but

01:13:03.900 that's all you can do it there is a a much better way to handle a pandemic which is an authoritarian

01:13:11.080 government that can basically kill anyone they think is is is sick right i mean we don't know how

01:13:17.260 many times president xi has done that if there was an outbreak in the uh uyghur camps i bet you

01:13:22.580 that some of that stuff happened i bet you anything some of that stuff happened but we don't know

01:13:26.280 exactly what he did but he had power to do anything so yeah if you could take everybody who you think

01:13:31.020 might be sick and lock them away in an island or a camp you can control a pandemic a little bit

01:13:35.500 better than a free society that is not worth the trade-off to me though it's not worth the trade-off

01:13:40.720 i mean i this is one situation where of course having control over a population makes it easier to

01:13:46.640 control the pandemic but that is it's not america 888-727-BECK it's pat and stew for glenn on the glenn

01:15:07.780 pat and stew for glenn on the glenn beck program all right take the vaccine or or not if and when

01:15:18.300 it's developed i mean we don't even have one yet to consider and in fact uh one of these the oxford

01:15:25.980 study the the oxford vaccine that they've been talking about that showed real promise they've only

01:15:31.660 had 50 success with that so but that would be a big step in the right direction if it was true i mean

01:15:38.680 you know the the flu vaccine a lot of times is only 30 and 40 effective uh but it you know if they

01:15:44.140 could get 50 that would be a massive step that does not mean that's anything we can lock down right now

01:15:48.560 right uh okay let's go to uh is it al in west virginia al you're on the glenn beck program with

01:15:54.240 patents too hi yes hello hey uh you wondering if i'm going to take that vaccine no way no way no

01:16:01.500 and it's not because i'm from west virginia where the stereotype is that we're all rednecks i'm

01:16:05.540 originally from the philadelphia area but and i graduated from wharton also but i'm retired now

01:16:12.640 73 years old and i don't even take the flu shot and i tell you why because i same thing i tell my doctor

01:16:19.120 it gives you a false sense of security people get that flu shot and that doesn't prevent them it's only

01:16:24.200 one of the strains i one time the pharmacist said you got to get your flu shot and i said next week

01:16:30.240 i came by the pharmacist was out sick i said what happened to her she said she got the flu

01:16:34.260 it's definitely not perfect it's definitely not perfect thanks al appreciate it uh yeah that's

01:16:41.260 that's an interesting thing you know i i think what al was kind of alluding to there is is is true and

01:16:46.820 important if that we like implement some of these things back into normal life one of the ones that's

01:16:52.760 been talked about is the removal of the handshake from our world which i don't miss it yeah i'm not

01:16:57.300 fine with that i'm fine with it but if that were to happen we would also cut flu deaths down like we

01:17:03.100 like yeah it would be nice to get rid of a lot of this crap yeah maybe we're so we're so used to

01:17:07.060 being in this like period where we don't want to you know get into each other's faces and openly

01:17:11.440 sneeze as often maybe we should continue that just us just a recommendation yeah yeah uh mike in

01:17:18.260 kentucky you're on the glenbeck program with pat and stew yeah thanks for taking my call um i think

01:17:24.400 you asked whether i would drink the kool-aid i'm sorry take the vaccine yeah yeah so i was going to

01:17:30.420 say something along the lines of what al said i'm an attorney and i i don't i don't lack education but

01:17:35.460 i will tell you that i i don't take the flu shot the one time i took it i got sick but i i look at this

01:17:40.920 and i say believing that a vaccine is going to protect you and there's going to be multiple strains out

01:17:47.600 there to me that's like saying i believe it's true because sannon said it it's

01:17:51.360 i don't think the science supports the idea that a vaccine is going to keep you safe yeah look it

01:17:58.780 depends on on what the effectiveness is and stuff you know there's a lot of people i think that are

01:18:02.560 just not going to take it no matter what the facts are on it right i mean like i think we've heard from

01:18:07.140 a couple of here you just don't trust it yeah you just don't trust it and and that's i think that

01:18:10.760 should be your right you know if you want to if you want to say i'm not it absolutely should be

01:18:14.260 you're right now look i'm the type of guy who wants to take your vaccines that you're not taking

01:18:18.020 and i'll take multiple doses i want so many vaccines i want needles all over my body because

01:18:23.160 i'm taking 900 vaccines at the same time i'm i'm not in that world at all yeah but that doesn't

01:18:29.340 matter right this is the united states of america if you don't want to vaccinate yourself against this

01:18:34.040 you may very well uh deal with with the illness you may well what happened to my body my choice

01:18:40.560 exactly that's what we've been told over and over again yeah i thought that was the left-wing

01:18:45.000 philosophy on life i thought so too and i will say the anti-vaccine thing and and i don't mean to

01:18:49.440 characterize that too widely but like the people who are generally speaking don't like vaccines is

01:18:54.020 not really a left or right issue i mean the most famous face of it is jenny mccarthy yeah and jim

01:18:59.880 carrey and jfk jr right right the rfk jr rfk jr yes um this has been a very widely spread thing on

01:19:07.620 the left as well and you know look if you don't want to do it you shouldn't have to do it you can't

01:19:11.660 i to me you can't force people to do these things but you know me i mean i i'm going right to bill

01:19:17.620 gates house right now just pulling out any needle he has and sticking it in my arm okay uh thank you

01:19:22.360 hillary appreciate it um our sponsor here is built bar built bar is something my wife you know let's 1.00

01:19:36.100 be healthy and they are healthy uh they're low in calories they have lots of protein i think 20

01:19:40.880 grams of protein like 170 calories they taste like candy bars there's a zillion flavors of them they

01:19:45.980 just released a bunch of new ones my wife has been talking about these things forever they line the

01:21:00.940 this is the glenn beck program

01:21:05.660 triple eight seven 27 beck is the phone number it's pat and stew in for glenn he's on vacation

01:21:13.780 back on monday we were talking a little bit about uh president trump's uh apparent executive order

01:21:20.460 that's coming here it was leaked on the internet last night about the internet which would restrict

01:21:25.440 companies from being able to give editorial opinions essentially on tweets and other

01:21:30.640 user-generated content it's a really intricate part of the law

01:21:35.460 uh hmm and he's doing that based on what law is that it's is it the law that that we always claim

01:21:43.440 is and i'm not sure it's true because you you've brought some doubt into this now but it's the

01:21:48.640 supposedly there's a law that private these private companies uh can be protected from lawsuits of what

01:21:56.760 happens on their forum like twitter if somebody says really something bad on twitter uh or or

01:22:03.100 threatens to kill someone on twitter and then goes ahead with it and some crime is committed and it was

01:22:08.600 on their site they're protected from lawsuit or just posts you know a copy copy written material

01:22:14.520 right you know something like that on on there so you're you're posting uh you post on facebook and

01:22:20.000 you post the entire star we had last star wars movie right and you post it on facebook you know

01:22:25.820 the the lucasfilm can't come sue you uh if you're facebook because somebody did that on your platform

01:22:32.720 that's the what it was designed to do that protection only exists supposedly if uh if you're non-bias

01:22:38.800 yeah and and there's some wording in there that's to that effect there's definitely another side to

01:22:44.280 that one you know i ted cruz makes a good case on the idea that you know this whole separation between

01:22:50.140 platform and publisher has been the thing you know a lot of legal scholars and some of them on the right

01:22:55.280 say that doesn't really say that the law doesn't actually mean there's a part of the law that

01:23:01.800 specifically says they can remove anything they find otherwise offensive right so it's like

01:23:08.640 stuff like we certainly like porn and all those things they can remove but there's a clause in

01:23:13.220 there that says basically and otherwise offensive which would cover anything that that those people

01:23:18.040 found offensive right i mean it's like i would that's the way it reads at least okay so there's

01:23:22.860 some disagreement as to whether this is going to work or not but this is what trump is trying to do

01:23:27.440 his distinction and and i understand why he's upset that you know he's tweeting things out that he

01:23:34.060 believes are true and are important to highlight and twitter's coming in and saying

01:23:38.460 this isn't true here's here's a link to something that is true and twitter is is the arbiter of

01:23:42.860 truth there um saying you know redirecting people away from what the president is saying is true yeah

01:23:48.860 and whether who's right or who's wrong in any given situation isn't important the question is whether

01:23:53.720 twitter can do that and still get the protections from all these lawsuits but the internet is bringing

01:23:58.660 us all sorts of bizarre new things that we had not considered uh before i let me give you this story

01:24:05.160 pad and i i'm somewhat fascinated by the reaction john krasinski who is the guy he's jim from the

01:24:11.560 office uh as he's he will always be known despite the fact that he's had a major career outside of

01:24:16.220 that he's jack ryan on uh is that amazon doing that series yeah uh their amazon prime series with

01:24:22.460 jack ryan he also uh a quiet place uh that movie and a sequel coming out relative i think it's ready

01:24:28.260 to go but they didn't release it because of the covid uh stuff um but that was the first one i

01:24:33.020 thought was great i mean he's a very talented guy outside of the office but he was in 18 hours

01:24:37.080 he was really good in that really good in that that was a really underrated role um and so but he's

01:24:42.520 all you know that's always going to be his thing and i don't think he minds it you know it's that

01:24:45.700 whole cast i just i love them on the office but i love them outside of it too they all seem to really

01:24:50.600 like each other and they all seem to be really good people and doing good things and i don't know

01:24:54.980 it's just like it's one of the things about the world i like right now yeah it's just the office

01:24:59.520 the people from the office just being cool to each other i just i don't know why i like it

01:25:04.140 so but this is a situation where jim from the office john krasinski does a web series that he

01:25:11.080 launches in the middle of the coronavirus shutdown and it's called some good news his daughters write

01:25:17.960 the sign that sticks up behind him he does it from his you know like his like bedroom you know in

01:25:22.560 shorts and a you know a suit top you know like and he just goes through he's his point was i

01:25:29.500 watched the first episode of it his point was basically like we're in the the worst time here

01:25:33.840 and every every piece of news seems to suck here's some good stories and he would just give good

01:25:38.440 stories about you know whether it was a a um you know a doctor who was getting cheered as they walked

01:25:45.260 out from work or you know it's that type of stuff you just feel good good stories yeah and it kind of

01:25:49.760 developed over i think it was eight episodes he was doing them weekly where they became like bigger and

01:25:55.200 bigger almost like stunts associated with him like he was able to get the entire cast of the

01:25:59.380 office to do uh play a part in a wedding um that was supposed to happen but then didn't because of

01:26:05.540 covid so they they went through and did the wedding on like zoom and then brought in the entire cast of

01:26:10.040 the office all at once to do this the dance they did in one of the episodes of the office uh there's

01:26:14.500 a you know they did he had uh you know he would bring in like robert de niro to do weather just

01:26:19.400 randomly you know it was it wound up being he was just exploiting his celebrity connections to give

01:26:25.000 people a few smiles during the middle of this nonsense right and it was a nice a nice break

01:26:30.580 well it got huge fast the first episode was huge and it kept building and building and building and

01:26:37.120 building and this turned into a real thing like millions and millions and millions of people

01:26:42.280 watching this in only after only a few episodes so now we're getting to the end of this he kind of

01:26:49.600 says it's a limited series he ends it after eight episodes behind the scenes goes into negotiations

01:26:54.420 with apparently a bunch of companies that want to buy this thing it's this hugely successful thing

01:26:59.640 with him at the front of it and he winds up agreeing with cbs to uh they buy this thing for god only

01:27:08.400 knows how much money i mean i as a capitalist i absolutely adore this story this guy is in his

01:27:14.120 bedroom he does a couple of fun shows and a couple of fun interviews and turns it into millions of

01:27:19.500 dollars i love it now of course i'm an evil capitalist so of course i love these things

01:27:24.020 apparently the web the people who were uh who were following this did not like it no he's a sellout

01:27:30.320 now he's a sellout right you know he's a sellout when did he ever say that he was uh he was in this 0.63

01:27:36.540 for for charitable purposes did he ever say that no never did and and who knows he probably did give

01:27:42.360 a lot of money to charity uh but that was not his stated it was not like we're you know this will

01:27:47.460 always be a charitable show uh it will always last forever he never gave any promises like that he

01:27:53.360 just did something basically for fun with his daughters online during quarantine right yeah it

01:27:58.700 turns it into something great it actually should be a great american success story right that's how

01:28:02.400 we should view this of course we can't view it that way we can't have nice things we can't have

01:28:06.220 nice things we can't have happy moments we can't be happy for other people's success that's not the

01:28:09.780 way america works now part of the reason here is he sold it to cbs and now he's not going to be the

01:28:14.740 host of it anymore which i love even more frankly just because it's like yeah i don't know what the

01:28:20.340 value is then without him right without him you know he's he's a big part of it and so i guess he's

01:28:25.320 going to continue to be a part of it and and appear and stuff but it's not going to even be his show

01:28:29.480 anymore which i can understand like you like this show that this guy was on and now he's leaving

01:28:33.780 we all understand how that can be annoying at times people are writing uh you know krasinski writes

01:28:40.160 you know a nice tweet about how thank you for everything this has been great and you know everyone's

01:28:44.400 responding here's a sampling so he made eight youtube videos comprised largely of unpaid

01:28:49.380 contributions from fans sold to sold the brand to a major conglomerate and isn't even going to make

01:28:54.600 it anymore just cashed out does anyone else does this rub anyone else the wrong way it doesn't rub

01:29:00.280 me the wrong way no and i think that that is a there's a keeping up with the joneses aspect of this

01:29:07.840 that's what we used to call it at least now i guess it's income inequality uh it's the same concept

01:29:12.580 is basically being jealous of people with more than you that's what that's what income inequality

01:29:16.880 is it's just a it's it's attaching some level of academia to the level of gel it's just jealousy

01:29:23.300 plus academia equals income inequality we all can sit here and say i wish you know i do i wish i had

01:29:29.220 as much money as mark cuban or john krasinski sure i do i don't though you know why because they've

01:29:33.300 accomplished more in their life than me frankly and that's not always the case with rich people but a

01:29:37.780 lot of times it is so this guy was able to cut this great deal it's super advertiser friendly

01:29:42.940 and he's just being lit up for it by the people who said they loved it and i i feel like that is a

01:29:50.380 it's a bigger commentary on just how we how we are in our society as we relate to people who are

01:29:59.160 successful we love them on the way up and as soon as they get up there we're just like ah screw those

01:30:03.440 people they're annoying now what does this guy do we always complain about negative news he brings

01:30:08.380 good news to a place where lots of people watch it where it's commercially viable he's already got

01:30:14.620 other full-time jobs right he's already he's already jack ryan how many jobs is the guy supposed to have

01:30:20.080 so he's gonna that's kind of what he said yeah why he sold it said look i was only planning to do

01:30:25.720 eight episodes during quarantine it's not my full-time thing yeah why not cash out and get something

01:30:31.320 do it forever why not yeah and he's still going to be involved in it i can't find out how much uh

01:30:35.640 cbs i'd love to know how much uh he got i don't think the numbers come out but i no i haven't seen

01:30:40.580 it certainly in the seven figures if it's not in the eight but he had 72 million views in a very short

01:30:46.960 72 million and i think there's just something about the you know there's something about the office where

01:30:51.900 where these guys everybody on there there's just an affinity they're super likable they're super

01:30:56.700 likable and anything they do you kind of just like and you know that there's something there's

01:31:02.240 something magical about that uh which is pretty important let's take a quick break because there's

01:31:06.320 another story as well where fans of people online are now revolting against them this one's a little

01:31:13.220 bit more complicated i want to see how where you stand on it back in a second this is the glenn beck

01:31:19.220 program so i know what you're thinking you're thinking glenn went out to his ranch and he thinks

01:31:27.540 he's gonna have a good time but he forgot about the rec tech grill at home that brought him so much

01:31:32.480 pleasure what do you think i am a rookie you don't get a body shaped like this without thinking ahead

01:31:38.280 no sir that's why i have another rec tech grill here at the ranch is that cheating yes and i will feel

01:31:45.020 badly about it every time i bite into that delicious tender rib that is probably on the grill

01:31:51.940 right now smart technology controlled grilling surface it is just the best rec tech grills top

01:31:58.900 of the line even if you've been hiding under a rock all this time and don't know anything about them

01:32:03.180 check them out on their social media they have thousands of rave reviews check this out if you're

01:32:07.680 looking for a grill and a smoker it's the best rec tech grills go there now and enter for your chance to

01:32:14.040 win the same grill that i have for father's day it's r-e-c-t-e-c grills with an s dot com that's

01:32:20.960 rec tech grills dot com slash back

01:32:23.960 so there's a story out about a pretty famous youtube couple

01:32:41.440 uh their names are it might mika straffer straffer and her husband stauffer excuse me and their

01:32:48.360 husband james now i don't know i don't know famous youtube couples so uh you know they are

01:32:55.300 they have lots of views and apparently very well known in this world but it's sort of a again a new

01:33:00.500 dynamic that the internet brings so they have four kids and they they are on talking about family

01:33:07.460 they're talking about these things all the time they're very well known on youtube they decide to

01:33:11.680 adopt a fifth child uh the child is from china through about three years ago and the child is

01:33:19.760 has special needs they bring them into the family they do all of this coverage of it they walk you

01:33:26.400 through basically every moment of their life as they're doing this adoption they bring bring you

01:33:31.160 through the adoption process they bring you through bringing the kid home they have all these

01:33:35.700 wonderful moments with the kid it's adorable lovely fan uh family content the type of stuff you'd expect

01:33:41.780 from youtube right like this this nice wonderful you know family environment and everyone's you know

01:33:46.340 they talk about their struggles but of course they're talking about what a great thing it is

01:33:49.980 they make tons of money off of this because that's what you do on youtube if you get people to watch

01:33:54.720 your stuff right you make lots of money um and you know they're able to bring in sponsorships and

01:33:59.640 and all these other things as they go through this process that we kind of know as the youtube world now

01:34:04.480 then the story gets a little complicated about two years after they a little over two years after

01:34:11.520 they've adopted uh this kid the kid stops showing up in videos

01:34:16.660 and people are like hey like i remember when you were telling us about every little detail of this

01:34:23.720 kid's life you know like where did where did where did they go so this goes on for a while people are

01:34:30.460 asking questions you know it's like when kim jong-un doesn't come outside for a couple weeks everyone

01:34:35.420 you know starts freaking out so they go down this road and eventually the couple comes out and they say

01:34:42.780 like this is one of the hardest things we've ever had to talk about but we basically had to re-home the

01:34:48.400 child so they had they brought in a kid with special needs what they discovered over time was

01:34:54.320 that the kid had apparently several additional issues they were unaware of when they adopted

01:35:00.000 the child so it became to a point where they have four other kids they believed it was overwhelming them

01:35:07.020 and they couldn't handle it and they basically were you know wound up transferring the child over to

01:35:14.020 another family now that's in and of itself you could say well you know you should be prepared for

01:35:19.680 these things or you should be able to take on these extra things but that's that's a lot of

01:35:22.860 unfair criticism about a situation you don't know much about what complicates the situation i think even

01:35:27.820 more is the fact that they made a bunch of money essentially bringing this adorable child into the world

01:35:34.940 and having you follow along their story what do they do with the money now now i think what they're

01:35:42.680 probably going to do with the money is keep the money right they actually went through these times

01:35:46.340 those are real videos real moments of their life but a lot of people who follow them are being highly

01:35:51.640 critical saying you took a bunch of money to bring us into this you basically rented a kid to make a

01:35:56.360 bunch of cash which is not a fair way of looking at it but i these lines are weird i don't know how

01:36:03.580 you deal with it i mean i don't know maybe they give some sort of donation to the new family who knows

01:36:07.820 but first of all i don't a lot of people are so everyone's so critical right everyone's got their

01:36:16.280 little argument about you know what this family should be doing or that person online should be

01:36:21.460 doing a lot of this you don't understand the whole story they're doing a show youtube is a show

01:36:26.080 they're not giving you every little detail of what's going on in their lives you don't understand it 0.57

01:36:30.500 so i can understand you know like i understand why people get critical but it is mostly ridiculous

01:36:35.800 right i mean to put your you can't put yourself in their position because you don't even know what

01:36:40.120 their position is there is a strange line there though because there's somebody's going to turn

01:36:45.820 this into a business they're just going to start like renting children for like a friend of mine

01:36:49.840 came up with a business a while ago called rent a puppy and his concept was you rent a puppy

01:36:54.100 and you have them through their first like cute their first cute year okay and then you can and then

01:36:59.220 you can walk around the park and all the pretty girls will come up to you and pet the dog and you can

01:37:02.420 talk to them and then when you when the dog starts turning into a dog and it's no longer a

01:37:05.780 adorable you just trade it back in for another puppy it was a brilliant idea i don't think he ever

01:37:10.480 actually attempted it i don't think you want to encourage that sort of behavior with children

01:37:15.300 probably not no probably not right so i mean is there anything to that is that a is that a line

01:37:22.100 that is uh are you comfortable with that i mean i don't know because you you know you've uh there's

01:37:28.540 a lot of uh and glenn's adopted children a lot of people have gone through that in this audience

01:37:33.260 i would say a higher percentage he didn't give his back though he still has his if you so is it

01:37:37.920 something legitimate to consider if you believe you're getting a child that has x y and z issue

01:37:43.120 and they develop apparently a bunch of other issues you were not aware of and you realize you can't

01:37:48.120 handle it yeah is that what you do in that situation well i know a couple who've done that

01:37:52.080 really yeah they they couldn't handle i mean they thought that they could and they wanted to and they

01:37:57.620 really wanted this child but when they got to it it became they thought dangerous for them and so they

01:38:07.360 went back to the adoption people and said we can't we're not equipped to handle this i mean i we can't

01:38:15.620 deal with this and we're scared so yeah he went back and and i don't know what became of him afterward

01:38:23.500 but they must have placed him in a different foster family so it does happen sometimes even and not

01:38:29.260 on youtube youtube was not involved in that particular thing so they didn't make any money

01:38:33.500 from it i thought adoptions only happened when you when there was money apparently not no yeah it

01:38:39.120 happens a few times without the cash involved yeah it's interesting

01:38:42.840 as we become more unstable gold will continue to go up it's at the highest it's been and i don't know

01:38:57.200 how long now i don't buy it as a lottery ticket i buy it as a hedge against insanity and when the world

01:39:04.540 stops moving towards insanity i'll stop buying gold and i buy my gold from gold line they've been in

01:39:10.100 business for like 55 60 years now and they're the best in the business it's goldline.com call them

01:39:17.560 and ask them about their 1880 five and a half dollar liberties they're extremely popular right now for

01:39:24.580 diversification and as a protection tool i have them they're absolutely great they're in really good

01:39:30.660 condition for being you know 140 year old uh coins but call the account executive right now at gold

01:39:37.480 line gold line gold line dot com or call them at 866 gold line they're waiting for your call

01:39:43.020 don't wait another day as things become more and more unstable 866 gold line 1-866 gold line or gold line

01:39:49.860 it's pat and stew for glenn on the glenn beck program i think what we do agree on is that uh people on

01:40:08.160 twitter pretty much should decide what direction your life takes right they like if they are pissed off

01:40:14.600 that you adopted a kid and then gave the kid back then you should probably go back and get the kid

01:40:19.560 and just handle it you know just handle it yeah the best way to live for sure right because all the

01:40:26.420 criticism on social media is the way you need to uh form all the things that you do in your life right

01:40:32.600 i've noticed that that's a good way to live my life i've adopted it as my strategy it's a good it's a

01:40:38.940 good idea it just is a wise step to take in your life is follow the dictates of the tweets that's

01:40:46.660 just what that's what you do i just can't look i i do so i am on social media and you can by the way

01:40:53.140 follow me at uh stew does america okay at pad unleashed i believe it is as well it is on twitter

01:40:57.880 uh you know i post our stuff up there but that's my interest in it is i like to you got to spread it

01:41:02.940 use it to spread the word it's part of our lives as in the dumb business it's a necessary evil

01:41:07.420 if it wasn't for this business i would be in a unabomber shack i would be in a shack uh not now

01:41:14.400 not literally because i i'm way too spoiled to be in a unabomber shack but i'm saying like from a

01:41:18.880 social media standpoint yeah i would be in a shack i would never even know a thing that was tweeted

01:41:24.320 i would never be aware of it again i wouldn't know anything that was tweeted i would never follow

01:41:28.920 another instagram account i would never be on any of it i don't like it at all i get not not a moment

01:41:34.660 of enjoyment uh from it and it's interesting because it's just the opposite of that for the

01:41:39.300 president of the united states he loves it oh my gosh he loves it he loves the interaction he loves

01:41:44.200 the back and forth he loves the battle the continual contention i think he loves it he does and you can

01:41:49.580 tell he relishes it he does because he could obviously change those things if he felt like

01:41:54.300 he could you know it would benefit him but i don't think i don't think it matters if it benefits him

01:41:59.060 and he doesn't that's not his that's not his priority there he just likes it he's in quite

01:42:02.620 a battle with twitter right now uh and we'll get into some of the aspects of that coming up here in

01:42:08.520 a sec on the glenn beck program

01:44:16.840 really really do i i don't know i mean i what if what if blaze tv takes us down because they don't

01:44:23.160 like our our content what if they edit our content and they put a a little like star next to a point

01:44:29.880 that we make and say this isn't actually true you should look at this point instead that would kind

01:44:33.800 of piss me off that's what twitter's doing right now yes they are kind of the cause of this controversy

01:44:38.400 yeah and the president is rightly irritated with them but it's a private company and you can't shut

01:44:44.440 twitter down because they're doing things you don't like you can't i don't think you can yeah

01:44:48.700 i don't i don't see how that's an american situation you can't do it uh but what you could do is take

01:44:55.500 your 80 million followers and suggest that everybody moves to a different forum just go to a different

01:45:01.820 platform yep and screw twitter who cares uh see you later twitter we're going to some other platform

01:45:09.200 right now he likes the impact he does twitter twitter he does you know really when it comes

01:45:14.680 to the american people not that many of them are really on twitter it's the least impactful uh when

01:45:21.020 it comes to actually reaching people uh it's it's massively amplified by the media because it's the

01:45:27.480 media's favorite one so like there's way more people on yeah because you don't have to read very much

01:45:31.780 right yeah no it's quick little comments they can they can go it's all it's easily searchable so you

01:45:36.360 can find what they said in the past about an issue uh there's a lot of that sort of stuff that goes on

01:45:41.260 so facebook has way more people instagram has much more far more people who are using it in an active

01:45:46.520 basis it's it's that twitter is all the blue check marks are there all the media members all the

01:45:52.400 writers all the commentators and they're all there there he gets to see all their comments and so he gets

01:45:57.380 the impact from there and it drives the coverage of every single television station that comes out and

01:46:03.160 feels the need to do a story every time donald trump tweets something unless it's something that's

01:46:08.060 okay like we're doing an investigation into the death in minneapolis which he tweeted and nobody

01:46:13.740 commented on because that was totally fine and they couldn't blame the incident on him so no one talked

01:46:19.920 about that tweet but when they can find a problem with it if he tweets something bad about mika or

01:46:23.920 joe scarborough it's it leads the news for several days and that is what the media likes about it and it's 0.82

01:46:30.320 also what donald trump likes about it yeah and it's it's too bad because twitter is ridiculous in

01:46:37.320 their so-called effort to keep everything uh um on an on an on a pleasant level they want everybody

01:46:47.060 to be nice to each other everybody uh on the right needs to be nice now the left can say whatever they

01:46:55.100 please and just to back that up a little bit here's here's the guy who has been appointed now to

01:47:03.300 decide whose uh tweets are okay and whose tweets aren't okay this is the arbiter of all of that now

01:47:12.220 yoel roth uh this is the guy who has been elevated to that position and here's a few of his tweets which i

01:47:21.120 guess were perfectly acceptable in the past on twitter uh you'll tweet it out i'm just saying

01:47:26.980 we fly over those states that voted for a racist tangerine for a reason i see that's an okay that's

01:47:34.040 perfectly that's that's all acceptable right there he also tweeted at one point yes that person in the 0.87

01:47:40.180 pink hat is clearly a bigger threat to your brand of feminism than actual nazis in the white house 1.00

01:47:46.100 yeah so there's actual nazis in the white house according to yoel roth uh he also tweeted today

01:47:53.220 on meet the press we're speaking with joseph goebbels about the first 100 days what i hear whenever

01:47:59.460 kellyanne is on a news show so that was perfectly okay to call a kellyanne and not a joseph goebbels

01:48:07.220 it's totally fine it's amazing to me that not that they would put this person in control of this

01:48:13.440 process that does not amaze me at all what amazes me is that they would pick somebody who was so

01:48:20.420 obviously searchable on comments like this you'd think it'd be someone who was maybe undercover a

01:48:25.700 little bit you know that is bizarre yeah it is bizarre it is and again they can do what they want

01:48:32.240 i guess with their forum it's you know a private company and and jack can do whatever jack wants to 0.97

01:48:37.420 do with it and you're going to point this moron uh as the arbiter of all things good and right on 0.68

01:48:42.880 twitter but uh wow you're alienating at least i guess 50 of your of your audience base and maybe 0.95

01:48:51.520 we'll just all accept it anyway but what again what the president should do is take his 80 million

01:48:56.880 followers and go somewhere else with them that would have an impact on twitter i think i think

01:49:01.800 that would be uh that would be impactful uh we have mark zuckerberg who's kind of speaking out

01:49:08.860 about this uh and social media sites and the fact that they're starting to edit or or mark in some

01:49:17.980 way certain comments by people here's what zuckerberg told fox news we have a different policy i think than

01:49:25.780 twitter on this you know i i just believe strongly that uh that facebook shouldn't be uh the arbiter of

01:49:32.920 truth of everything that people say online i think in general private companies probably shouldn't be

01:49:38.420 or especially these platform companies shouldn't be in the position of of doing that that would be

01:49:43.440 really good if he practiced what he was just preaching there but he kind of doesn't he really

01:49:50.100 kind of does i don't know what his line is there because he what he said there i think should be the 0.99

01:49:54.900 position of these companies absolutely it should people are going to post a bunch of dumb crap and 0.95

01:49:59.980 there's nothing we can do about it sort it out yourself that is a completely responsible 0.97

01:50:04.060 commentary for a company and an okay and responsible position to say that you know what

01:50:11.200 you're gonna some people are gonna say we didn't land on the moon so what figure everybody knows we

01:50:16.620 did whatever and if they do if everyone decides because of this video that we didn't land on the

01:50:22.060 moon well i don't know what we're gonna have to really work hard to try to convince people of the

01:50:25.540 opposite but that it's not gonna be me doing it you're gonna have to do it

01:50:29.680 nasa's gonna have to do it this idea that mark zuckerberg should be in there trying to 0.78

01:50:35.920 tell people what is right and what is wrong when users post it is stupid or adjusting his algorithm 0.67

01:50:42.700 so those people aren't seen i mean if people want to see him let him see it yeah if they don't want

01:50:47.700 to see it tell him not to look at it now i it's not that hard i do tend to think that they have

01:50:52.700 a very clear right and are okay in not promoting material they don't like right like if they wanted

01:51:02.340 to say i don't want to promote white nationalist like material and they just they pick a thing and

01:51:06.740 they they don't recommend that video you watch a video that's with similar content and that one

01:51:11.160 never pops up i that's their algorithm and i think they could do that yeah when people want to go when

01:51:16.600 they sign up for a person they want to go to see their videos it's ridiculous to pull them down it's

01:51:22.200 stupid it is you don't want to promote them that's fine i think that's fine that's a good line for them 0.97

01:51:27.580 you know they can say they can and and you know i'm very much a free market guy i'm very much and this 0.99

01:51:34.280 is i would say decreasing in popularity as a viewpoint on the right but i'm very much at the point that if

01:51:40.320 twitter wants to never allow another conservative on it in in his in the entire company's future

01:51:46.260 they can do that they are a and i know we can get into the section 230 thing and i know people are

01:51:52.360 thinking that right now whether they get these protections you know that's a complicated issue

01:51:57.900 that we can talk about more at length at another time but like generally speaking they should be able

01:52:03.300 to do whatever they want i come to this like if think of you this way pat uh uh a church right

01:52:09.840 a religious organization decides they want to they want to give access as a as an internet provider

01:52:15.320 or an internet uh forum and they want to be able to stop anything that's blasphemous anything

01:52:23.340 questioning religion should they be able to do that i would argue yeah if they want literally no

01:52:30.800 dissent on their platform they should be able to have no dissent on their platform i don't think that's

01:52:36.400 a great way to run a site especially if you're facebook or twitter but if they wanted to they

01:52:41.220 could do it now if they did it their business model would fall apart no one would be on it half the

01:52:46.780 country would leave twitter and the other half would not have their fun calling the other half racists

01:52:51.980 so what what good is twitter if you can't do that but i so i don't i don't really like the idea that

01:52:59.380 we're going to come in and try to micromanage how they deal with these things you know the i the

01:53:03.840 concept being and ted cruz makes a good case on this they also shouldn't receive protections if

01:53:10.200 they are going to make those decisions they shouldn't receive copyright protections and other

01:53:14.800 things which is an understandable case it's very muddy legally to me i think cruz makes a great case

01:53:21.180 i've heard you know a lot you know section 230 is actually overall a really good thing it's it's all

01:53:28.140 it really has uh allowed the internet to flourish and become very free it's actually a very free market

01:53:35.380 thing it's just the question of this one little part of it do we tweak it to make it so you know

01:53:41.280 these companies can't just edit and you know d d you know denounce material that they don't agree with

01:53:48.100 i i understand trump's uh struggle there but on the other side of it you know like i think trump wins

01:53:53.640 this battle right he comes in and he says what he wants to say yeah and people are going to listen

01:53:57.680 to it if if they like him they're not going to if they don't i don't think there's a lot of people

01:54:02.200 who are like you know what i really want to hear about uh what happened to joe scarborough's intern but

01:54:06.620 there's that link under there on twitter and they're going to send me to a fact check page so i'm

01:54:10.280 going to have my mind changed that's like two people on earth that you're either going to believe

01:54:14.340 that stuff or you're not right yes yes the idea that twitter is going to be able to win this battle

01:54:20.760 is is is is silly i mean you mentioned the moon conspiracy thing whether whether or not we've

01:54:26.680 been to the moon if okay if you're going to watch a video that shows you inaccurate information and

01:54:32.800 you are part of the 11 who believes that we've never been to the moon oh well yeah whatever i 1.00

01:54:40.580 can't help that you're that dumb everyone's got their little conspiracy theory you're that dumb 0.99

01:54:44.740 you know whatever and pretty soon we're gonna we're gonna go to the moon again and then you're 1.00

01:54:49.060 gonna have to say i guess we didn't go there again this time as well uh are you gonna believe

01:54:54.580 that we go to the moon when elon musk gets us there i think the answer to that is no i think

01:54:59.740 the answer is no yeah right it's gonna be much it's actually much easier to believe we'd fake a moon

01:55:04.080 landing now we can make it look really good oh yeah back in the day way better than 1969 yeah

01:55:10.200 i mean even like those they've done those um examinations of the shadows and like the way the

01:55:15.360 the thing would have to be lit yeah this to happen then the lighting didn't even exist and there's

01:55:19.200 all these issues now all that stuff you can make it perfect yes you could do it cgi and no one would

01:55:24.340 know the difference nobody would know in fact they could have they could have pretended to launch

01:55:27.760 yesterday and we wouldn't have known the difference you're probably right we wouldn't have known

01:55:31.340 we don't but they didn't pretend it but they could have they could have in fact the spacex launch

01:55:36.520 was scrapped yesterday which was a bummer i i was really really hoping they were gonna

01:55:41.040 get up there uh yesterday but they're they're rescheduled now for saturday afternoon i think

01:55:47.440 so saturday afternoon we'll we'll see if they fake this thing again because really i think all space

01:55:53.560 flight has been faked right in the minds of the moon conspiracy people i don't think anybody's been

01:55:59.540 to space they don't believe there is space or something in fact i when i was talking to the flat

01:56:04.760 earth guy and this was like over 20 years ago now uh 22 23 years ago they've come a long way

01:56:11.480 come a long way i mean the earth's still flat but they've come a long way but it was it's flat but

01:56:17.620 it's a disc and then he's and then the like the sun is only 37 miles if i remember correctly from the

01:56:24.860 earth i mean it is the size it looks like it is in the sky because it's only really big if you

01:56:31.940 believe that it's 93 million miles away that's the only time the the sun is really big but it's 37

01:56:37.820 miles it's 37 miles away yeah so it's it's a lot closer closer yeah it is a few inches would be a

01:56:45.600 big deal i feel like 25 degrees on the you know the the surface of the earth i mean if we move an

01:56:52.000 inch or two the wrong way i think that can happen you're done you're just yeah you're done but you're

01:56:57.000 never going to convince those people and who cares if you do right it's okay you know like it's okay

01:57:01.240 that people believe crazy things it's okay it's okay yeah we all live who cares what they believe

01:57:08.340 who cares yeah you know 99 of this stuff doesn't make any difference and we all sit here and stress

01:57:13.260 about it all the time who cares there are people that think ted cruz's dad killed jfk who cares

01:57:18.320 who cares i mean ted cruz and ted cruz's dad right yeah to glenn back

01:58:41.360 it is uh pat and stew for glenn who is on vacation this week 888 uh 727 beck you highlighted one of my

01:58:55.260 favorite media tactics while we were off the air here pat cnn did it today they said you know

01:59:00.680 donald trump's silent as 100 000 people die and they did this this is a very constant thing cnn is

01:59:08.680 really bad at it right now it is so deceitful and deceptive they are let's be honest about it and

01:59:14.380 they are least uh connected to actual news period in the entire network's history it's been fine to

01:59:21.720 criticize cnn over the years they have abandoned abandoned being a news organization organization

01:59:29.120 yeah they're total anti-trump propaganda now that's all they are and i i would put an asterisk

01:59:34.040 there for certain uh exceptions of personalities and hosts and journalists on there i don't think

01:59:39.300 everybody's like that but the tone of their day is that it is associating every story with donald trump

01:59:45.700 and trying to make him look bad in any way possible this this is another example it's this is a tactic

01:59:50.920 that cnn uses all the time which is take one activity let's say trump is doing and tie it to

01:59:57.860 another activity that's happening roughly at the same time and then just connect them with as so

02:00:04.220 it's like let's say uh did this guy you know a donald there's a murder in uh in pocatella idaho

02:00:10.960 okay and they say donald trump golfs as murders go on in idaho and like those two things aren't

02:00:19.820 connected at all like what why what does it matter what anytime he golfs bad things will be happening

02:00:25.300 somewhere in the world but if you say he golfs as that bad thing is happening it's like he's

02:00:30.240 ignoring he's like i don't care i'm gonna go golfing what's that what happened the guy got

02:00:33.280 murdered screw him uh it's tea time that's not what's occurring but they did this today where

02:00:39.140 they're like he was silent well he what do you mean he's silent he's been talking about 0.93

02:00:42.080 the whole time every day every day and every day you bitched about it when he talked about it

02:00:46.080 he said he's talking about it too much yes unbelievable unbelievable see you tomorrow
