00:00:00.000 Rough Greens is a great thing because I know Miles, who my dog, who's my dog, is about 147 years old.
00:00:06.680 And that's in human years.
00:00:07.940 So he's really, really old.
00:00:09.980 And he, you know, he gets to the point where he just like looks at his food and knocks it around a little bit and doesn't do much.
00:00:15.040 Well, with Rough Greens, he is able to, he just dives right in.
00:00:18.920 He just does not care.
00:00:20.040 He goes for it immediately.
00:00:21.960 No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
00:00:24.380 No, go ahead.
00:00:25.460 Okay.
00:00:26.720 That's exactly what you cannot do.
00:00:28.200 If we're trying to figure out how to do the show today, that's the exact thing you shouldn't do right there.
00:00:32.360 It's just say no, no, no, no, no in the middle of me talking because we're going to have no chance of making this work.
00:00:37.820 Poor Glenn is like in the middle of nowhere behind a mountain.
00:00:41.020 Let me just tell you this.
00:00:42.020 Even behind a mountain, people and their dogs love Rough Greens.
00:00:45.860 Rough Greens gets you, it's healthy.
00:00:47.840 It makes the dog eat the things.
00:00:49.420 It makes him happy and running around.
00:00:51.300 You've seen the video of Glenn's dogs.
00:00:52.720 It's really made an incredible difference.
00:00:54.400 Rough Greens 14-day challenge is something you should definitely get started with.
00:01:00.020 It's a 14-day jumpstart bag just for $14.95.
00:01:03.320 The difference you're going to see in your dog in 14 days or less, just go to roughgreens.com slash beck or call 833-GLENN33.
00:01:11.600 That's 833-GLENN33.
00:01:15.000 Give him a call today.
00:01:16.620 Glenn, live from the middle of nowhere in just a moment.
00:01:19.920 What you're about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
00:01:48.200 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:01:56.820 Well, everybody's talking about what a racist Donald Trump is today.
00:02:00.800 Oh, my gosh.
00:02:01.660 I mean, you know he is, right?
00:02:04.820 I mean, white power all the way.
00:02:07.200 He's speaking that code every single day.
00:02:10.620 In the meantime, while they're distracting you on that and a story, a very important story in Russia, which I'll give you perspective on here in just a second.
00:02:19.840 In Chicago, 18 people were shot dead in the streets, not by the police.
00:02:28.540 There were 47 wounded.
00:02:31.940 47.
00:02:32.620 47, including a 10-year-old girl.
00:02:37.460 She wasn't wounded.
00:02:39.200 A stray bullet hit her inside of her home on the northwest side.
00:02:45.660 How many children have to die?
00:02:48.760 How many days do we have to go in Chicago like this before we actually talk about what the real problem is?
00:02:58.460 We're going to not only do that, but we have some solutions for you.
00:03:03.540 This is Independence Week, and we're going to take and celebrate our independence and look at the responsibilities that we have as independent people in one minute.
00:03:18.420 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:03:23.200 Let me talk to you about relief factor.
00:03:27.040 Brian lives in Alabama, and it wasn't so long ago that he was on the verge of losing his mobility entirely.
00:03:34.500 Whenever he would try to move around the house to get things done, the pain in his body would flare up, and he would be forced to take a break.
00:03:41.140 These breaks began to get longer and longer, and Brian was getting worried about his quality of life.
00:03:46.380 Brian, man, I have been there.
00:03:49.560 I have been there and done that.
00:03:51.500 It is a frightening thing when you think, I'm not going to be able to do anything soon.
00:03:56.780 Then one day, he heard me talking about relief factor, decided to give it a try.
00:04:00.360 Within three weeks of the quick start trial, he felt 90% of his pain melt away, and it's only getting better as time goes on, and he continues to use it.
00:04:09.140 In fact, Brian says the only thing he regrets is that he didn't discover relief factor four years ago.
00:04:15.020 Brian got his life back, and so can you.
00:04:18.880 Relief factor, not a drug developed by doctors.
00:04:21.040 70% of the people who try it go on to buy more because it works for them.
00:04:25.740 So try the three-week quick start trial pack for only $19.95.
00:04:29.380 Go to relieffactor.com.
00:04:30.880 That's relieffactor.com.
00:04:32.660 Or call 800-583-84.
00:04:35.420 800-583-84.
00:04:37.960 It's relieffactor.com.
00:04:40.480 All right, so big crowds have gathered for the Pride March.
00:04:51.760 LGBTQ marches happened in Chicago and New York City, and thousands marched in the parade to reclaim pride.
00:05:03.660 Hmm.
00:05:04.020 Okay.
00:05:05.800 Now, I don't have a problem if you want to, you know, march for pride or march for whatever.
00:05:11.940 Just stop telling us we're so irresponsible for not wearing a mask.
00:05:19.440 All right?
00:05:20.100 That's all I want.
00:05:21.300 You want to gather for pride, pride parades because it's, you know, anti-homosexuality, which I, let me tell you, America is so anti-homosexual right now.
00:05:34.520 It's crazy, huh?
00:05:36.180 Boy, we're lynching, we're lynching them homosexuals in the streets and throwing them off building.
00:05:41.880 No, wait.
00:05:42.880 I'm sorry.
00:05:43.440 That's Iran.
00:05:45.100 That's not America.
00:05:47.080 I get those two confused all the time.
00:05:49.620 So, if you think that's more important, fine.
00:05:55.020 If you think it's more important to, you know, go out in mass and loot and steal along with the protesters that are actually trying to say something, God bless you.
00:06:09.220 That's just, just bless your heart.
00:06:11.960 But don't look at me for not wearing a mask.
00:06:15.300 I am so sick and tired of the double standard on this.
00:06:21.820 And, you know, I don't care anymore.
00:06:24.120 I don't think, these people are doing everything they can to push every button in us.
00:06:31.600 Every button in us.
00:06:33.000 They want, they need you to be violent.
00:06:36.400 They need you to be violent.
00:06:38.040 They can't wait for you to strike back.
00:06:41.340 It's what they've been waiting for.
00:06:43.440 They wanted you to do that.
00:06:45.080 They've been goading you for 15 years.
00:06:49.060 For 15 years, we've begged the, boy, I feel like the, feel like the founders did with King George.
00:06:56.360 For 15 years, we've begged the media, stop, stop, stop.
00:07:02.980 It's, it's, it's as if, you know how your kids are always like, he's poking me.
00:07:09.160 He's poking me.
00:07:10.560 Stop.
00:07:11.680 Stop poking.
00:07:13.160 And you just don't pay attention to your sister.
00:07:16.460 Well, that's what, that's what I've been telling you and others have been telling you for 15 years.
00:07:21.780 Just don't pay attention to your sister.
00:07:24.060 She's just trying to annoy you.
00:07:25.980 But she's poking me.
00:07:28.240 Stop poking.
00:07:29.360 Well, they continue to poke us.
00:07:32.120 They continue to poke us.
00:07:34.080 And at some point, a parent does say to, you know, the one of the kids, you kind of had that coming.
00:07:45.820 Now, Speaker Pelosi said, a national mandate is required for everyone to wear a face mask.
00:07:55.480 And it is long overdue.
00:07:59.400 Is it?
00:08:01.020 Is it?
00:08:02.220 Because you told us wearing a face mask didn't make a difference at all.
00:08:09.540 Or were you lying to us then?
00:08:13.160 Yeah.
00:08:13.600 Yeah.
00:08:14.160 Yeah.
00:08:14.640 You were lying to us.
00:08:15.800 You can't say, oh, well, scientists changed their mind.
00:08:18.960 No, they didn't.
00:08:19.760 No, they didn't.
00:08:20.900 If face masks weren't needed, then why were they needed at the hospital?
00:08:26.860 Don't wear a face mask because it doesn't make any difference.
00:08:29.520 And we need to save all the face masks for the doctors and the first responders.
00:08:33.960 Oh, oh, okay.
00:08:35.160 So it doesn't work.
00:08:36.980 Hmm.
00:08:37.460 But they need them.
00:08:40.840 You were lying to us in the first place.
00:08:43.120 And anyone who was paying attention knew it at the time.
00:08:49.980 Now, are you lying to us?
00:08:52.240 Do we need them?
00:08:54.400 Is it okay to go out or not okay?
00:08:57.380 See, you can't have it both ways.
00:08:59.720 You can't say, oh, well, this one's really important to have people go out and loot in the streets.
00:09:07.560 You can't say that.
00:09:09.020 And my gosh, look at these people in Texas.
00:09:12.020 They're animals.
00:09:14.260 Really?
00:09:15.660 First of all, New York, people in Texas are not used to being told exactly what to do.
00:09:23.260 We don't like it all that much.
00:09:25.420 We're still what you call, um, oh, American.
00:09:32.900 My understanding that the Centers of Disease Controls recommended the use of masks, but not required it because they don't want to offend the president.
00:09:43.360 Really?
00:09:44.860 Huh.
00:09:46.120 That's weird because that seems like the only group of people in the government that don't want to offend the president.
00:09:51.600 Their president should be an example.
00:09:54.860 You know, real men wear masks.
00:09:58.420 Well, I think robbers wear masks.
00:10:01.640 Doctors wear masks.
00:10:04.560 Uh, it has nothing to do with men.
00:10:06.600 And what do you mean by real men, Nancy Pelosi?
00:10:10.780 It's not about protecting yourself.
00:10:13.020 It's about protecting others.
00:10:15.960 Oh, is it?
00:10:18.100 Is it?
00:10:18.620 Or is it about control?
00:10:20.300 You see, a government telling you you have to wear one while, you know, it might be accurate that we should all wear one.
00:10:32.880 Um, that's kind of fascistic.
00:10:35.960 I know.
00:10:36.660 I know.
00:10:37.780 You're anti-fascistic.
00:10:39.980 But then again, it doesn't seem like you really are.
00:10:44.640 Joe Biden said, I would insist that, um, every, wait a minute.
00:10:51.260 What is, uh, my lovely daughter, wife, Joan, Jill.
00:10:58.780 Anyway, let me just quote what he was supposed to say.
00:11:01.180 I would insist that everyone in public be wearing that mask if I were president.
00:11:06.660 Anyone to reopen would have to make sure that they walked into a business that had masks.
00:11:12.860 Oh, well, that is great.
00:11:16.800 So now the federal government and the president could just dictate exactly what we have to wear.
00:11:25.180 Well, that's fantastic.
00:11:29.520 Have you done anything about Black Lives Matter?
00:11:31.760 I just, I'm just wondering, are you guys worried about, you know, all of the, the dark money that's going in there?
00:11:37.380 And it's a global project.
00:11:38.820 It's not even from the United States of America.
00:11:41.820 You know, Hank Newsome, you know who he is?
00:11:43.780 Hank Newsome was the head guy that got onto Fox and he was like, you know, I'm, I might be saying a threat.
00:11:50.480 I might not be saying a threat.
00:11:53.600 Well, you're the one who knows.
00:11:56.520 Why don't you tell us which one it is?
00:11:59.280 Well, he was, he was told you can't be a part of this anymore.
00:12:05.040 Really?
00:12:06.420 Really?
00:12:07.220 Is that, is that true?
00:12:13.660 We're going to burn down the system.
00:12:15.480 Well, we totally and completely agree with you, but we need to make it seem like you're not a part of this anymore.
00:12:22.900 He told the New York Post, we don't want white people here.
00:12:27.800 As he walked near Yankee Stadium.
00:12:31.220 We don't want white people here.
00:12:33.120 We don't want them coming in and raising our rents.
00:12:36.600 You can't be a supporter of black people.
00:12:38.440 If you come to gentrify their neighborhoods, say the F out of our communities.
00:12:43.300 Oh, now he hasn't apologized for his opinions that President Trump called in a tweet, treason, sedition, insurrection.
00:12:53.920 After hearing him on Fox News, Newsom embraces the movement's destructive side, saying it was hypocritical for his opponents to call him out endorsing violence.
00:13:04.020 When the U.S. uses blood and bullets to get what they want.
00:13:08.000 I was standing in front of a Wells Fargo when it was burning in Minneapolis, he said, and it was very liberating.
00:13:18.100 Burn, man.
00:13:19.500 I'm still quoting.
00:13:21.380 They only listen when we destroy things.
00:13:23.640 America doesn't care about people.
00:13:25.440 They care about property.
00:13:26.800 You're right.
00:13:27.920 That's why we go for those really cheap missiles.
00:13:31.480 You know, the ones that you just drop from the sky and you're like, oh, it blew up a school.
00:13:36.100 Boy, we feel bad.
00:13:37.780 Ha ha ha.
00:13:38.860 Not because we got that missile at a discount.
00:13:42.960 Yeah.
00:13:43.580 No, I'm bad.
00:13:45.000 By the way, he he does occasionally talk about his battle with alcoholism, anger issues and being guilty of domestic violence.
00:13:56.160 But he's all better now.
00:13:59.960 Uh huh.
00:14:03.440 Do we have a problem?
00:14:04.900 Is anybody in Washington working on that one?
00:14:07.400 Is anyone?
00:14:11.940 The downtown retailers in in Portland, Oregon now are saying, you know, the city just left us for let they just left us.
00:14:23.500 We had to defend for ourselves.
00:14:25.820 It was.
00:14:27.400 Boy, I remember somebody who was it that said chaos was going to be the word of the future.
00:14:33.120 It was chaos.
00:14:36.020 Really?
00:14:37.600 The cops told me not to go down there.
00:14:42.360 But I did.
00:14:44.740 Downtown was a battle zone.
00:14:46.640 Chaos in the streets.
00:14:48.140 Broken glass everywhere.
00:14:49.480 There was yelling and screaming and tear gas and grenades and people running down the street.
00:14:57.400 Well, that's your that's your lovely, progressively run city.
00:15:02.500 It's wonderful.
00:15:05.920 Oh, and one other thing.
00:15:07.880 And here's some really sad news.
00:15:11.460 Nike has reported a surprise loss due to the shutdowns of covid-19.
00:15:18.080 It was the shutdowns that prompted a big drop in revenues.
00:15:22.280 Despite higher online sales, Nike reportedly lost seven hundred and ninety million dollars in the quarter ending May 31st, which translates to a loss of fifty one cents per share.
00:15:36.720 Oh, so you lost a lot of money and your share prices really suffering.
00:15:44.680 Oh, it couldn't happen to a nicer group of people.
00:15:50.000 Let me tell you about our sponsor this half hour.

00:17:23.960 10 seconds.
00:17:24.420 We have the mayor of a small town, Colleyville in Texas, who says,
00:17:46.240 well, sorry, we're not going to we're not going to make everybody wear masks.
00:17:50.500 It's not our job.
00:17:52.400 Controversial.
00:17:52.920 Even in Texas, we'll talk to that mayor coming up in just a second.
00:17:56.280 Want to talk to Jason Batrill, who is who's with us now.
00:18:00.440 And Jason has been following a story for us out of really Russia and the Middle East about how the Russians were targeting and bribing the the foes in in Syria and Iraq.
00:18:22.300 To try to kill our troops and giving a bounty on their head.
00:18:28.380 Well, this is a story that happens in every war, really.
00:18:31.940 I mean, we knew this was happening early on with Iran when Iran was putting a bounty on American soldiers heads.
00:18:38.400 My question to Jason is this is business as usual.
00:18:45.920 The president can't recognize that he knew about this.
00:18:51.480 Otherwise, it's war with Russia.
00:18:54.200 That's an act of war.
00:18:56.060 Does the New York Times really think that a war with Russia is better than having Donald Trump not recognize this publicly?
00:19:07.560 Yeah, you got to wonder what exactly they're expecting out of this.
00:19:12.420 You really do.
00:19:13.200 And it's interesting.
00:19:14.060 And just a quick correction.
00:19:15.260 It's Glenn.
00:19:15.920 This is Afghanistan, not in Syria.
00:19:18.520 But that's important because what you mentioned is is exactly true.
00:19:23.060 And I don't remember there being any news on this.
00:19:26.340 It might have leaked out.
00:19:27.580 I'm not sure.
00:19:28.160 But I don't remember the President Bush ever admitting this.
00:19:31.120 But there was this was back in my day when I was there.
00:19:33.620 We were told all of us that were in Afghanistan again right after 9-11 that we had $100,000 bounty on our heads.
00:19:40.780 And this was from the IRGC from Iran.
00:19:43.260 It was $100,000.
00:19:44.040 If they caught one of us out there, $100,000 reward.
00:19:46.500 I think it was a $25,000 bounty just for our uniforms, for crying out loud.
00:19:52.660 But again, these things, like you said, Glenn, they happen all the time.
00:19:57.120 But and again, as you said, this is a major escalation if it's acknowledged.
00:20:01.740 These things are never acknowledged.
00:20:03.740 Right.
00:20:04.000 I have multiple problems with this.
00:20:06.260 Probably don't have the time to go through all of them.
00:20:08.380 For one, the premise that this apparent leak came from the intelligence officials to the New York Times.
00:20:14.660 So the reason that the Russians were doing this was because they wanted us to sign the peace deal with the Taliban and pull out.
00:20:23.640 Now, does that make any sense to you?
00:20:25.360 Like here, we're going to force the Americans into pulling out and to do that.
00:20:29.040 We just want you to go ahead and kill them.
00:20:30.900 No, that's good.
00:20:31.960 That's the reason we're there.
00:20:33.280 Right.
00:20:33.620 Like, yeah, that's what we're pisses off.
00:20:35.580 That's going to piss us off.
00:20:36.640 So that makes no sense for one.
00:20:39.080 It makes me think.
00:20:39.880 So there's a couple options.
00:20:41.060 They both lead to the deep state, in my opinion, because the timing on this is incredible.
00:20:46.180 Right now.
00:20:47.120 This comes out now.
00:20:48.760 Like, why is this coming out now?
00:20:50.480 Why not when the peace deal was such a huge deal?
00:20:53.480 Why wouldn't it come out then?
00:20:54.980 No, it comes out now when we're closer to the election.
00:20:59.040 For one, I think that's probably the biggest thing.
00:21:01.660 This is probably something that they were following.
00:21:04.260 It might have been.
00:21:05.240 They probably got word that maybe something was happening.
00:21:07.580 And this is in an intelligence report and something they're pursuing.
00:21:10.580 If that's the case, they wouldn't have briefed the president on it because you're not supposed
00:21:13.240 to brief the president on speculative stuff.
00:21:16.500 So that could go to how President Trump was denying even knowing about this.
00:21:21.200 There's an explanation there.
00:21:22.620 The second thing is the same thing that I was going through in Afghanistan is, yes, this
00:21:26.420 happens.
00:21:27.400 These are things that happen in the dark.
00:21:29.400 You're not supposed to know about them.
00:21:31.180 These things get handled, but not at a public level.
00:21:34.040 Because when this goes public, then this goes very public.
00:21:36.980 Sure.
00:21:37.660 There's an invasion that usually happens or a strike or a major escalation is what usually
00:21:43.100 follows this type of news.
00:21:45.600 So let me ask you this question, Jason.
00:21:50.520 Isn't this evidence that the deep state is still alive and well?
00:21:57.520 I mean, who released this information to the New York Times?
00:22:00.620 Right.
00:22:00.980 Exactly.
00:22:01.420 I think the deep state is ultimately responsible for this regardless, either for the leak.
00:22:08.800 But the thing being now is, look how dangerous this is.
00:22:13.840 I don't know what you expect to come of this.
00:22:16.780 Not only from the...
00:22:17.840 I don't blame the New York Times for printing this because they're the New York Times.
00:22:21.540 But consider how dangerous this is and how embedded the people that literally want to see this
00:22:30.100 thing all come crashing down.
00:22:31.940 I mean, it's at all levels, at the highest.
00:22:34.100 It's insane.
00:22:34.480 Thank you very much, Jason Buttrell.
00:22:40.700 He is our head researcher and the guy who is our former military intelligence expert.
00:22:49.220 More in just a second.
00:22:50.880 The mayor from Colleyville, Texas.
00:22:52.680 No masks.
00:22:53.280 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:23:00.500 So Patricia lives in Arizona with her two dogs, and she's one of those people who have
00:23:05.560 understood their need for a good dietary supplement for years.
00:23:08.700 But until a few months ago, she was feeding them three separate supplements every day.
00:23:13.940 The expense was adding up.
00:23:16.060 Then she heard about Rough Greens.
00:23:18.080 She decided to give it a try.
00:23:19.840 And Patricia, thank you for listening and thank you for trying this.
00:23:22.780 She said now her dogs are happy and healthy.
00:23:25.300 She's saving money by getting everything she needs in one bag.
00:23:28.900 It's Rough Greens.
00:23:30.380 It's not a dog food.
00:23:31.560 It's a supplement that you put on the dog's food.
00:23:34.020 If you have a dog that has a hard time eating, oh my gosh, I don't know what's in this thing,
00:23:38.560 but they love it.
00:23:39.900 They love it.
00:23:40.960 And it has all the good nutrients that your dog needs without being cooked out.
00:23:46.480 Probiotics, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, omega oils.
00:23:49.760 These are some of the things your dog needs for a healthier lifestyle.
00:23:52.780 So give your dog Rough Greens.
00:23:55.280 Get the 14-day Jump Start bag today for $14.95 and see the difference in your dog in 14 days or less.
00:24:02.380 Just go to roughgreens.com slash back.
00:24:04.900 That's roughgreens.com slash back.
00:24:07.140 Or call 833-GLEN-33.
00:24:09.780 833-GLEN-33.
00:24:12.080 Roughgreens.com slash back.
00:24:13.760 Yes, we're just sipping back our cocktails and talking about coronavirus.
00:24:23.360 Which bar are you going out to tonight, Marge?
00:24:26.800 Well, I'm not going because the governor said I can't go to the bar.
00:24:31.540 Well, it's probably for the best, Marge.
00:24:34.280 Why don't we just sip our cocktails here?
00:24:37.320 So Richard Newton, Dr. Mayor Richard Newton, mayor of Colleyville, Texas,
00:24:43.340 he is not going to police the mask mandate among the COVID-19 panic.
00:24:52.900 And the governor has said everybody needs to wear masks.
00:24:57.980 He's closing down the bars.
00:24:59.420 Things are heating up with the youth in Texas.
00:25:03.420 And he says he's not going to do it.
00:25:06.540 That's not making him popular with some people and other people love it.
00:25:11.940 Richard Newton, welcome to the program.
00:25:15.280 Thank you, Glenn.
00:25:16.120 I really appreciate you having me on this morning.
00:25:18.900 Sure.
00:25:19.660 Now, there's people, I mean, because I know, I talk to people in New York City and Los Angeles,
00:25:25.680 and they're like, you people are crazy.
00:25:28.340 You just want everybody to die.
00:25:31.660 And it's different in some of the cities than it is around most of America.
00:25:38.420 But Texas is starting to see some real numbers climb.
00:25:42.220 Why have you decided not to wear masks or enforce masks?
00:25:48.900 Yeah, so if you allow me, let me first tell your audience what it is I'm not doing,
00:25:55.780 because there's many misconceptions out there.
00:25:58.460 One, I am not anti-mask.
00:26:01.040 On the contrary, I and Colleyville have encouraged individuals to take all precautions they can
00:26:07.240 to protect themselves and their families.
00:26:09.420 The individual decision is very important.
00:26:11.820 I wear masks.
00:26:12.700 My wife has made 40 masks for our families.
00:26:15.420 These are personal, individual decisions.
00:26:17.600 Number two, I have not countermanded the Tarrant County order.
00:26:22.400 The Tarrant order is actually for businesses to establish a policy to wear masks and their
00:26:27.300 customers.
00:26:28.100 That's the issue.
00:26:29.580 And I'm not aware of any business in Colleyville that hasn't put the policy in place.
00:26:33.880 And three, if I get a chance before we're through, there have been no deaths in Colleyville.
00:26:38.020 That's very important.
00:26:39.180 And I would like to explain to you why, if I get to that point.
00:26:42.840 Well, go ahead.
00:26:43.500 Explain that.
00:26:45.160 Oh, go ahead and explain that.
00:26:47.560 Okay.
00:26:48.060 I learned there's been no deaths in Colleyville.
00:26:50.120 A lot of numbers have consistently been very low.
00:26:52.160 But I learned yesterday there's a fake profile, Facebook profile by the name of Sherry Michaels
00:26:57.880 and is posed as a very conservative, religious individual and wrote this very long, gut-wrenching
00:27:06.680 post about her eight-year-old child dying in Colleyville yesterday afternoon for whatever
00:27:13.760 reason I guess or pressure brought on her, but she has recanted and said that's all fake, it's not true.
00:27:20.280 So my message to people is please be very careful in what you read in the social media and react to
00:27:26.540 because there's much in it that's just flat, wrong, and purposely erroneous.
00:27:32.800 So that was my message.
00:27:33.580 Why did she do that?
00:27:36.580 Is she a very religious, conservative person with a kid, or is she none of those things?
00:27:43.200 No.
00:27:43.800 In fact, I don't even know if it's a woman who ever created this fake profile, but in the
00:27:48.240 recant, the recant was actually more vicious than the story, and the true colors came out.
00:27:55.500 She called me and all my elected officials and Colleyville fascist and all the terrible
00:28:02.140 things that they could dream up.
00:28:03.900 So it was clearly a political stunt, but that's going on.
00:28:07.860 People just need to know that that really is happening.
00:28:10.160 And in fact, she had hundreds of thousands of comments and stuff.
00:28:14.220 It's really a shame, very devious and vicious.
00:28:17.840 Okay, so Richard, you would probably be the most disappointing fascist to fascists, seeing
00:28:29.620 that you are not willing to say you must do these things.
00:28:36.300 And I want to make it clear again, but you wear a mask yourself, and you think it's a good
00:28:43.040 idea to wear masks.
00:28:44.820 You're only doing this as a personal liberty thing.
00:28:48.360 Yes, and the reason I'm doing this, this is the most interesting part of all of this.
00:28:54.880 The DA's office had a conference call with all the police departments, including us, and
00:28:59.560 indicated that they have no way to prosecute this.
00:29:02.840 This is unenforceable.
00:29:04.600 And so I cannot be dishonest to my citizens.
00:29:09.200 I need to tell them the truth.
00:29:11.360 I do not believe any city in Tarrant County can enforce this.
00:29:14.860 And that's why we're not doing it.
00:29:16.920 It would put our police in a very awkward situation, a very embarrassing situation.
00:29:21.460 It could lead to such a thing such as the Dallas Salon debacle, where they were in this
00:29:27.820 enforcement paradox, and it was embarrassing to everybody.
00:29:31.120 So it just doesn't make sense for the government to try to tell a business to enforce something
00:29:38.020 that even the government cannot enforce itself.
00:29:41.120 That's unfair to the business and the citizens, actually.
00:29:44.180 But I would encourage everybody to do it.
00:29:48.140 So why are people so upset, then, Mayor?
00:29:51.580 I mean, because you have been called everything under the sun, and you don't care about people,
00:29:58.400 and you're an embarrassment to the city.
00:30:01.080 I mean, that's what people are saying.
00:30:02.780 I love this.
00:30:03.560 I have friends in Plano and Frisco and Dallas, and they all think we're nuts.
00:30:07.380 It's embarrassing.
00:30:08.420 I'm embarrassed to live in Colleyville right now.
00:30:10.860 And the people I've talked to, I talked to a young mother yesterday at some length, and
00:30:18.960 I just asked them questions, and in asking questions, you know, they think that I have,
00:30:25.340 and they've been told, and in social media, our detractors say that we're not, we don't
00:30:31.940 want, we're making people not wear masks.
00:30:34.120 Well, that's completely untrue.
00:30:35.640 So they don't have the correct information.
00:30:39.040 They don't understand that this is not enforceable.
00:30:42.040 This is not a mask issue.
00:30:43.360 This is an enforcement issue.
00:30:45.640 It's a, and then they, I don't, you know, why that's happening.
00:30:50.680 I can't tell you why that's happening, but that's what is happening.
00:30:53.700 So I always simply calmly ask people what they're, why they think they're, why they
00:30:58.640 met at Colleyville, and when they tell me things that are wrong, I correct them on what's
00:31:03.060 right.
00:31:03.760 And typically, once I, they, they, I still understand, but may not agree, but they understand it.
00:31:10.880 Uh, in the governor, how's your relationship with the governor, Greg Abbott?
00:31:16.300 That's very good.
00:31:17.160 I think Governor Abbott has done a fantastic job.
00:31:19.440 I mean, I know some people disagree, but I think he's, he's very considered.
00:31:23.420 He considered all factors.
00:31:24.920 I think this Tarrant County order was put together very quickly without a lot of thought, with
00:31:30.260 no discussion with the cities on how to enforce it.
00:31:33.580 Uh, and that, that came about after the fact, after he put the order in, but Governor Abbott,
00:31:39.040 it's not enforceable because Governor Abbott himself has edicted that there is no local
00:31:45.480 governmental agency that has the right to mandate that individuals wear masks, and he's done
00:31:51.860 that because it's a constitutional issue.
00:31:54.540 It's, uh, he's not going to violate that.
00:31:56.580 So that's the reason it's unenforceable.
00:31:59.580 How do you feel about all the, uh, governors and the, uh, mayors around the country that are
00:32:05.580 just grabbing all this power?
00:32:07.360 Well, I think it's unfortunate that, uh, they're using this to, for exactly what you said, to
00:32:15.340 grab power and to, I think it's unfortunate when government entities do things, uh, that
00:32:22.380 such as this is unenforceable, but it's, it's, they know it's what people want to hear.
00:32:27.820 And so they do it, but it's kind of a hollow thing to do to me.
00:32:32.560 I think it's important to be straight up with people.
00:32:35.860 Well, the reason is I have had citizens ask me, say, well, if you aren't going to enforce
00:32:40.880 it, why do you just say anything?
00:32:42.640 Don't say anything, which by the way, it's what all the other cities are doing.
00:32:45.820 They're just not saying anything, but they're in the same situation we're in.
00:32:49.680 And I say that for three reasons.
00:32:52.640 One, just my personal principles.
00:32:54.620 When I took, when I'm in office, I think, uh, owe it to our citizens to be straight up and
00:32:59.120 honest with them.
00:32:59.780 That's just a personal principle.
00:33:01.060 Well, in Colleyville, we have four key principle values.
00:33:05.960 Two of them are communication and transparency.
00:33:08.840 So we're going to communicate and we're going to be completely transparent.
00:33:12.820 So that's why I needed to tell people up front our position.
00:33:16.480 Number three, if we just said nothing, I can guarantee you what would happen and probably
00:33:21.560 will happen somewhere.
00:33:22.740 If somebody walks into a business and see somebody without a mask, they get very upset.
00:33:28.460 They want to call the police to get it corrected and to enforce the policy.
00:33:32.680 They call the police, the police comes over and the police said, I'm sorry, there's nothing
00:33:37.240 we can do about it.
00:33:38.600 And then the police department gets blamed for not doing their job.
00:33:43.540 I think that's a terrible position for politicians to put their police force and their city staff
00:33:49.000 in.
00:33:49.260 And I won't do it.
00:33:50.160 I simply don't think it's right.
00:33:52.740 Richard, I think there's probably a lot of people out in the listening audience now all
00:33:57.980 over America.
00:33:58.700 There's like, I wish that guy was our mayor.
00:34:01.140 Thank you for explaining this.
00:34:02.920 It is a very different story than we're getting in the media.
00:34:07.900 Even the local Dallas media has got this wrong.
00:34:13.220 Thank you so much.
00:34:14.460 Appreciate it.
00:34:15.640 Well, thank you for having me on and giving me the opportunity to explain that.
00:34:18.920 I really do appreciate it.
00:34:20.860 You bet.
00:34:21.720 You bet.
00:34:22.060 Thank you so much.
00:34:23.840 Mayor, doctor or Dr.
00:34:25.840 Mayor, Mayor.
00:34:27.260 I don't remember which comes first.
00:34:29.120 Richard Newton, the mayor of Colleyville on the Glenn Beck program.
00:34:33.320 All right.
00:34:33.940 Let me tell you about our sponsor.
00:34:35.380 It's LifeLock.
00:34:36.240 You know, the notebook that you write in, you know, and you write all your passwords.
00:34:39.680 The one you leave open face up dashboard of your car.
00:34:43.200 You should usually with a window windshield decal pointing, you know, right to it, just saying
00:34:47.660 all my passwords right here.
00:34:49.520 You may not make it that obvious, but Americans really don't know how to protect their their
00:34:57.920 passwords.
00:34:58.520 Less than half of Americans use multiple passwords for accounts.
00:35:02.300 Less than a third use an encrypted password manager, which is really the best thing you
00:35:06.740 can do.
00:35:07.800 If you're one of these people, it is time to make a change.
00:35:11.240 Cybercrime is on the rise.

00:36:16.920 It is happening live from the Standing Rock Ranch.
00:36:19.860 And it's a path forward.
00:36:23.680 It will restore your hope, your faith.
00:36:27.420 It gives you a three steps to take in your family.
00:36:33.740 And it is a path forward.
00:36:36.360 You don't want to miss it.
00:36:37.920 It is very frank.
00:36:39.300 It sets history back in its place.

00:37:18.620 We need you now more than ever.
00:37:21.060 So I'm listening to this mayor.
00:37:23.360 That's that is the best answer I've I could have gotten from him.
00:37:28.920 And I think it's true.
00:37:30.760 He didn't sound like a politician.
00:37:32.120 He sounded like a guy with real principles.
00:37:35.280 And he is.
00:37:36.660 I mean, he's a he has his doctorate in engineering.
00:37:40.560 So he is a science based guy.
00:37:43.640 And I wouldn't expect that he was like, I just think this stuff is nonsense, which which
00:37:49.980 he wasn't.
00:37:50.600 He was saying, I'm I'm doing it for liberty.
00:37:53.380 We can't enforce this.
00:37:56.060 The D.A. says we can't enforce it.
00:37:58.220 What are you going to do?
00:38:00.100 Yeah, I appreciated his honesty on that.
00:38:02.620 Yeah, I did, too.
00:38:03.640 I mean, you know, personal liberty is the best argument, I believe, in this situation.
00:38:06.620 You're right.
00:38:07.060 There are some people you can find thousands of conspiracy videos that will tell you that
00:38:10.720 I don't know, it's 5G or something causing this.
00:38:13.100 But you can go once you get past all of that, there is a there's an argument that even if
00:38:18.080 you think that wearing masks is a really good idea.
00:38:21.300 And I will say there was just a study that came out from the Roosevelt that showed, you
00:38:25.420 know, a lot of military guys all climb, you know, clambered next to each other in very
00:38:30.180 tight quarters.
00:38:31.200 And they they were able to run a study as to what people did as the separation points between
00:38:35.920 who got it and who didn't.
00:38:37.560 And the most effective thing, more effective than social distancing or washing hands or anything
00:38:41.880 was mask wearing.
00:38:43.100 So who knows?
00:38:44.420 I mean, this stuff does change, but it was pretty compelling evidence, especially among
00:38:48.200 a younger set of people that masks are effective.
00:38:51.420 That being said, we are this is the United States of America we're talking about here.
00:38:55.240 Like you you don't the government should not be the ones coming in and telling everybody
00:39:00.860 what to do.
00:39:01.680 I understand that, you know, there is a good argument for these things and there is there
00:39:08.120 is there are some extra powers that the government has in situations like this, at least has been
00:39:13.240 established legally, but it's short supposed to be short term.
00:39:15.760 And it is always more effective if you convince people to do it with the facts, but they can't.
00:39:23.740 But they can't now anymore because the facts of, you know, when you have the gay pride parades
00:39:29.200 happening in Chicago and in New York City, plus all of the protests and the scientists that said racism is much
00:39:39.400 more dangerous than than coronavirus.
00:39:42.260 You don't have any factual basis to stand on anymore.
00:39:48.200 And what's what's worse is it is given the appearance that this whole thing was just made up, that this
00:39:56.540 whole thing was just a plan to tube our economy.
00:39:59.700 And that's not true.
00:40:02.320 But how are you going to convince people now that they should stay indoors because you've destroyed
00:40:11.320 their business, you've robbed them of prosperity, you have greatly damaged the the economy of the United
00:40:21.340 States, maybe for a 10 year period, you've spent all kinds of money, your mayors and your governors
00:40:28.900 in some states are completely out of control.
00:40:32.500 Then you did nothing about the protests.
00:40:35.820 You've got a real credibility problem.
00:40:39.000 You have a real credibility problem.
00:40:40.740 And so the only thing now that's going to convince people is the actual pain of getting
00:40:46.220 the coronavirus or knowing people that get the coronavirus.
00:40:50.080 And I don't care what anybody says.
00:40:53.080 The federal government and the state and local government should not be telling you I can put
00:40:58.960 you in jail if you don't wear a mask.
00:41:01.700 They should say, please wear a mask.
00:41:04.940 And it's up to us to do it.
00:41:07.520 And we should be doing it.
00:41:10.420 This is the Glenn Beck program.

00:42:15.020 Hello, America.
00:42:16.060 Well, Mike Pence is in trouble because he just would not say Black Lives Matter.
00:42:22.200 Well, do you mean that as the phrase that has a trademark after it?
00:42:29.520 As in the corporation that is full of Marxist radicals?
00:42:33.880 Or are you saying that like, you know, all lives matter, Black Lives Matter, White Lives Matter?
00:42:41.800 He wouldn't say it.
00:42:43.080 Now he's in trouble.
00:42:44.320 Should we be saying it?
00:42:45.620 And should we get rid of White Jesus?
00:42:48.060 Should we embrace this Marxism that is now being spoon-fed to our children and is everywhere on our streets?
00:42:59.620 We have a guy who plays it straight and will tell you the answer to those things in one minute.
00:43:07.680 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

00:44:34.600 There's a guy who I think was making videos on time.
00:44:45.560 Unfortunately, the American people didn't feel that way.
00:44:49.500 Now his videos online on YouTube are burning everything up.
00:44:54.420 His name is Dr. Vody Botcham.
00:44:56.920 He is the Dean of Theology at the African Christian University.
00:45:01.260 He is an American that now lives abroad in Zambia, where he is actually taking care of black lives.
00:45:10.160 And he joins us now over the phone.
00:45:13.180 Vody, how are you, sir?
00:45:15.480 I am fine, Glenn.
00:45:17.240 Thank you for having me back.
00:45:19.760 You bet.
00:45:20.380 You bet.
00:45:20.860 I want to talk to you a little bit about a few things.
00:45:23.900 First of all, can I get your comments and your thoughts about white Jesus?
00:45:28.780 Because now there's a movement and a new poll out that says 31% of blacks want the white Jesus destroyed and replaced with black Jesus.
00:45:40.940 That's interesting on a number of levels, not least of which, you know, a lot of black people have the same experience.
00:45:48.200 If you grew up, you know, in a black household, especially if you grew up, you know, in the South.
00:45:54.080 But I grew up in Los Angeles, and it was still true there.
00:45:56.860 When you went into a home of a black person, an older black person, there were generally three pictures on the wall.
00:46:03.300 There was a picture of Martin Luther King.
00:46:06.620 There was a picture of John F. Kennedy.
00:46:08.560 And there was a picture of Jesus.
00:46:10.540 And it was the white Jesus.
00:46:11.740 And nobody ever complained about the ethnicity of Jesus on the wall.
00:46:20.860 And it really became an issue more with the black power movement, and especially with organizations like the Nation of Islam and others.
00:46:31.000 So that's one thing that I find interesting about this.
00:46:33.960 A second thing that I find interesting about this is I'm a Reformed Baptist, right?
00:46:37.560 And so, for me, I don't want any images of Jesus.
00:46:41.880 I think it's a violation of the Second Commandment.
00:46:44.840 But if I were to advocate for taking down all images of Jesus because of the second of the Ten Commandments from God Almighty,
00:46:55.580 I would be dismissed out of hand as a religious zealot.
00:46:59.740 But now, in the age of anti-racism, somebody wants white Jesus taken down, and there is absolutely no objection.
00:47:12.460 And so, for me, what's interesting about this is that it points to what I see as a new religion.
00:47:19.520 This is a religious fervor that we see.
00:47:23.220 There are new commandments.
00:47:25.400 There is a new canon of Scripture.
00:47:27.960 There is a new definition of sin, a new definition of salvation.
00:47:33.400 And, unfortunately, for white people, there is no salvation because you are a racist and a white supremacist.
00:47:38.680 There's nothing you can do about it.
00:47:40.120 And, ultimately, you can never be cured, which means you can never be forgiven.
00:47:44.620 Well, that sucks to be us, doesn't it?
00:47:47.460 Well, not you, but me.
00:47:48.960 So, it's great to be me, man.
00:47:53.340 I can be worshipped.
00:47:54.160 I can have people bow down on their knees before me and shine my shoes.
00:47:59.680 And if I'm not happy with them shining my shoes, I can ask them for a stock in their company.
00:48:04.200 I can just tell people to shut up and listen to me.
00:48:07.060 You know, it's crazy.
00:48:09.000 It's great.
00:48:09.400 It's absolutely crazy.
00:48:10.180 And what I'm worried about is the backlash.
00:48:13.240 People are not going to continue to do this forever.
00:48:16.300 And there's real racism out there.
00:48:18.860 There are real racists out there.
00:48:20.800 There's real hatred out there.
00:48:22.440 It's being driven underground.
00:48:24.520 And what I'm worried about is the backlash and the response.
00:48:28.060 How do you mean?
00:48:31.240 What do you fear?
00:48:34.860 Well, what I fear is people coming to a place where they say, listen, this is crazy.
00:48:41.600 It's stupid.
00:48:42.880 It's a bridge too far.
00:48:44.960 I don't want to talk about these issues anymore.
00:48:48.260 I reject this.
00:48:49.580 I reject you.
00:48:50.640 And all of a sudden, any type of real conversation about real problems goes out the window because of the unreasonable nature of the way these things are being forced right now.
00:49:07.180 So how do we avoid that?
00:49:10.100 Because, I mean, when you get down to take the statues and all the stained glass window of Jesus and his white friends, look, Jesus, I don't think Jesus was white.
00:49:20.160 I think he looked like a Jew from the Middle East.
00:49:23.060 I think that's what he probably looked like.
00:49:25.160 But I don't care.
00:49:27.240 That's not essential to my salvation.
00:49:30.000 I don't care what he looked like.
00:49:32.360 I really don't.
00:49:33.500 But when you get down to this where you are now taking things that are deeply, deeply personal, how do you stop it?
00:49:44.520 That's what I'm referring to when I talk about the backlash.
00:49:52.880 These things are unsustainable.
00:49:57.780 People are only going to bow the knee for so long.
00:50:01.320 People are only going to bow down in obviousence before the statue of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
00:50:09.800 for so long before people finally say, listen, that's enough and that's too far.
00:50:16.980 And here's why that's an issue, because with this movement, with this radical Marxist movement, this Black Lives Matter movement,
00:50:26.320 movement, a 99 is an F.
00:50:31.700 And we need to be clear about that.
00:50:33.960 A 99 is an F.
00:50:36.320 You can do everything that they demand of you.
00:50:40.540 But the minute you decide that's a bridge too far, the response is you failed.
00:50:47.180 I knew you were a white supremacist.
00:50:49.400 I knew you were a racist.
00:50:51.360 And you're completely repudiated.
00:50:53.860 And any kind of absolution that you had is immediately taken back.
00:51:00.080 So was Mike Pence right in refusing to say Black Lives Matter?
00:51:05.100 Yes, I think he was.
00:51:06.800 And what worries me is that there are so many Christians who are not taking that stand.
00:51:13.000 Because, again, we have to separate this movement from issues.
00:51:22.780 So here's what the Marxists do.
00:51:26.020 Here's what the Marxists have always done.
00:51:28.400 You use words and phrases.
00:51:31.840 And you pour into those words and phrases your own meaning.
00:51:35.120 And oftentimes you create kind of this Kafka trap, you know, where if somebody does not use the phrase that you want them to use,
00:51:47.780 it proves that they are what you say they are, right?
00:51:52.940 So prove you're not a racist by using that phrase.
00:51:56.160 You refuse to use that phrase, then you're a racist.
00:51:59.380 Let me push back on you.
00:52:03.300 And you tell me how to handle it.
00:52:05.380 So then, Vody, Black Lives Don't Matter to You.
00:52:10.160 Yeah, see, I'm not playing your game.
00:52:12.060 Why do I need to play that game?
00:52:14.620 First of all...
00:52:15.500 Well, because it's a very easy thing to say.
00:52:18.780 Black Lives Matter.
00:52:20.280 Don't they?
00:52:21.380 Why would you refuse to say it?
00:52:23.620 I know that that is a phrase that is part of an organization.
00:52:28.060 It is a trademarked phrase.
00:52:29.780 And it's a phrase designed to use black people.
00:52:33.300 That phrase dehumanizes black people because it makes them pawns in a game that has nothing whatsoever to do with black people and their dignity
00:52:43.680 and has everything to do with a divisive agenda that is bigger than black people.
00:52:53.380 That's why I'm not going to use that phrase.
00:52:55.360 Because I love black people.
00:52:57.840 I love being black.
00:52:59.760 I love black people because I are one, right?
00:53:03.220 That's number one.
00:53:04.360 Number two, I don't have to prove anything to you.
00:53:08.020 That's number two.
00:53:09.180 This is about me being right with God.
00:53:13.200 And number three, this movement is dangerous.
00:53:17.340 This movement is vicious.
00:53:19.540 And this movement uses black people.
00:53:22.580 And so if I'm really concerned about issues in the black community, and I am,
00:53:28.760 then I have to refuse and I have to repudiate that organization because they stand against that for which I am advocating.
00:53:42.900 Okay, Vody, I'm going to take a quick break.
00:53:45.840 And you're writing a new book, and I just kind of want to go through the first section of it with you.
00:53:51.240 It's Reject Cultural Marxism and Black Lives Matter.
00:53:55.200 And I would really love for you to concentrate, if you can, on how do we talk to our kids?
00:54:02.000 Because our kids have bought into this wokeness thing.
00:54:06.940 And, you know, Dad, it's not enough not to be a racist.
00:54:10.740 You have to be an anti-racist.
00:54:13.740 How do you answer that?
00:54:15.040 And how do you break through with kids that they don't think that they've been indoctrinated?
00:54:21.460 They think that they're woke.
00:54:24.380 And we'll go there with Dr. Vody Botcham here in just a second.
00:54:29.820 By the way, you can find him at his website, V-O-D-D-I-E, Vody Botcham, B-A-U-C-H-A-M.org.
00:54:38.920 And look for his videos.
00:54:40.960 American Financing, NMLS, 1-8-2-3-3-4, www.NMLSConsumerAccess.org.
00:54:47.260 Yes.
00:54:47.520 All right.
00:54:48.500 So let me tell you about American financing.
00:54:50.460 Interest rates are nearing another record low in response to the Fed's moves to encourage consumer spending.
00:54:58.040 Mortgages in 2020 are, I mean, we are, they're world champion limbo players.
00:55:04.120 If you're a homeowner, you absolutely need to be looking into refinancing your mortgage right now.
00:55:10.360 You can do it without resetting everything and starting back at the beginning.
00:55:13.920 It could absolutely save you hundreds of dollars a month, maybe even as much as a thousand.
00:55:20.980 Some mortgage rates are falling into the 3% range now.
00:55:26.800 Holy.
00:55:27.320 You've got to start asking yourself some questions about your finances.
00:55:31.640 More importantly, you've got to start asking American financing these questions.
00:55:36.200 Give them a call today.
00:55:37.100 Don't put it off.
00:55:38.580 You'll forget.
00:55:39.340 Do it right now.
00:55:40.200 It takes 10 minutes.
00:55:41.100 If you're in your car, take 10 minutes and make that call.
00:55:43.800 Free mortgage review to see what you qualified for.
00:55:47.220 It's 10 minutes.
00:55:48.660 You're not going to be charging the upfront fees or pressured into anything.
00:55:52.000 They're in this for you, not the bank.
00:55:54.480 You'll be doing yourself a favor.
00:55:55.960 Call them right now at 800-906-2440.
00:55:59.320 It's 1-800-906-2440 or AmericanFinancing.net.
00:56:05.580 10 seconds.
00:56:06.300 Station ID.
00:56:06.760 So, Vody, tell me why it's not good enough to be a non-racist, to not be racist.
00:56:28.600 You have to be anti-racist.
00:56:30.380 That seems like a pretty good goal.
00:56:31.980 Yeah, but until you recognize what that means, right?
00:56:39.320 Being anti-racist means that you advocate against racism.
00:56:44.080 And that sounds good, too, right?
00:56:46.460 But then we have to define racism.
00:56:49.560 And we define racism according to critical theory.
00:56:54.240 Critical theory, which comes from Marx, the Marxist idea that, you know, you reduce everything
00:57:01.160 to oppressed and oppressors, this sort of Hegelian view of history, right?
00:57:07.000 So, you keep backing these things up.
00:57:09.640 And what these guys have done is they've created an entire glossary of terms, right?
00:57:15.000 And if you agree, you're sort of backed into another corner and then backed into another corner.
00:57:23.020 And eventually, this is my problem.
00:57:25.900 And a lot of people ask, well, why are you going to Glenn Beck's program?
00:57:31.080 Number one?
00:57:33.120 Oh, yeah.
00:57:33.740 You've been on once.
00:57:35.440 I'm sure people ask you, you know, why you have me on your program, because, you know.
00:57:39.340 No, I've got nothing but good letters on you.
00:57:43.420 Well, just hang in there.
00:57:44.960 They're coming, brother.
00:57:45.760 Hang in there.
00:57:46.140 All right.
00:57:46.480 Okay.
00:57:46.880 But here's the thing, because what is happening in our country and what is happening in the media
00:57:52.000 is that we're removing God from the equation.
00:57:56.400 And I'm on here because this is one of the only places that I can be free to address that.
00:58:04.380 And to me, that's what's really dangerous and egregious about this.
00:58:09.020 This is a new religion moving toward a utopianism that finds salvation outside of God, that finds
00:58:17.420 hope and salvation outside of Christ.
00:58:20.120 That is completely unacceptable.
00:58:22.640 And it's also idolatry.
00:58:24.580 We are literally bowing before men.
00:58:27.220 We're bowing before statues of men.
00:58:29.940 That's idolatry, Glenn.
00:58:32.040 And we're trying to find hope in places where there is no hope.
00:58:36.400 It's an over-realized eschatology.
00:58:38.140 We believe that the government is going to save us.
00:58:41.360 Here's what I find interesting, right?
00:58:42.840 So we end slavery in 1865.
00:58:46.760 And then we get the 13th Amendment, the 14th Amendment, the 15th Amendment.
00:58:50.800 All right.
00:58:51.500 Excellent.
00:58:52.260 The government did something about racism and white supremacy.
00:58:56.260 Not so fast, because then we have segregation, Jim Crow, the KKK, and all this sort of stuff.
00:59:02.900 Okay, fine.
00:59:03.640 The government's got to come back 100 years later, 1864, 1865.
00:59:08.340 We have the Civil Rights Act, and then we have the Voting Rights Act.
00:59:11.760 Finally, the government has responded.
00:59:14.680 Ah, not so fast.
00:59:16.640 Now here we are, a generation later, when the government has not been able to eradicate racism,
00:59:24.160 right?
00:59:24.380 So, what's our answer?
00:59:27.360 Advocate for the government that has proven incompetent in these areas to do it for us,
00:59:36.340 but for real this time.
00:59:38.520 Glenn, it's the wrong answer.
00:59:40.940 Now, let me hurry to say, I want good laws.
00:59:45.920 I absolutely want good laws.
00:59:48.560 I'm not one of these individuals who says, you know, ah, politics, why should we have
00:59:52.480 anything to do with politics?
00:59:53.860 Ironically, people have considered me too politically active for a lot of my ministry,
00:59:59.140 right?
00:59:59.620 And so, I'm not saying that we shouldn't advocate for that.
01:00:02.560 What I'm saying is, right now, what I'm seeing is that people are pressing this, like this time,
01:00:09.260 we're finally able to get the ball over the goalposts.
01:00:13.080 And I'm saying, absolutely not.
01:00:15.540 Christ is our only hope.
01:00:17.320 He is our only answer to these issues.
01:00:20.160 But, when critical theory comes in, and now everything becomes systemic, and we move outside
01:00:28.460 of the individual, all of a sudden, our hope does become a systemic hope, a governmental hope.
01:00:36.680 And so, what I don't want to see, I'm talking about that backlash again, you know, is people
01:00:41.900 saying, number one, we don't need to deal with the hearts of men anymore, because we
01:00:47.860 absolutely do.
01:00:49.480 Racism is real.
01:00:50.520 Prejudice is real.
01:00:51.740 Or, saying that we only need to deal with the hearts of some men, because now we say racism
01:00:57.220 is something that only white people, you know, can experience.
01:01:01.020 Glenn, I know some black racists.
01:01:03.900 I'm related to some, okay?
01:01:05.940 And they need their hearts changed, right?
01:01:09.860 And so, I'm worried about that.
01:01:12.300 And so much of this just moves us away from the truth.
01:01:17.680 And it moves us away from legitimate discussions about real things that actually do need to
01:01:25.240 change and be addressed.
01:01:26.680 So, how do you address people who say, look, I'm, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, they're Marxists,
01:01:37.120 but I'm not a Marxist.
01:01:38.860 And most of the people that are marching are not Marxists.
01:01:42.620 And so, you know, we're just trying to get some change here on some real issues.
01:01:49.560 I mean, because that's really what people are saying, I think.
01:01:52.560 They just don't believe the Marxist side of it.
01:01:56.800 I don't know how.
01:01:57.920 And you have a lot of churches now going in and going all full Black Lives Matter.
01:02:04.500 Yeah, you absolutely do.
01:02:08.360 And some people, because they don't know what the organization is about, and others, in spite
01:02:14.240 of the fact that they do know what the organization is about.
01:02:19.540 And listen, I am not saying that we don't advocate for change.
01:02:26.040 That's, I mean, that's the nature of the American experiment, right?
01:02:31.680 That's the nature of our history as a country.
01:02:35.580 Every couple of years, we're advocating for change.
01:02:39.860 You know, I'm here on the African continent.
01:02:43.140 Glenn, do you realize that in the history of democracy on the continent of Africa, there
01:02:48.000 have been two times when the incumbent has not won an election?
01:02:52.880 Two times.
01:02:54.680 Oh, my gosh.
01:02:56.520 On the whole continent, Glenn.
01:02:59.740 Holy cow.
01:03:02.820 All right.
01:03:03.540 Back in just a minute, VodyBotcham.org.
01:03:08.260 VodyBotcham.org.
01:03:09.960 And look for his videos on YouTube.
01:03:14.980 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:03:23.100 All right.
01:03:24.060 I want to talk to you about Shave Secret.
01:03:27.220 If you are looking to shave and you just want a really, really close shave, you don't have
01:03:36.100 to look further than Shave Secret.
01:03:37.760 Shave Secret is just an oil that you put onto your hand.
01:03:43.660 It's not a foam.
01:03:44.760 It just helps reduce or even eliminate all type of shaving irritations for men and women,
01:03:51.460 like ingrown hairs, shave bumps, redneck, all of these things.
01:03:56.240 I mean, it's not going to cure you being a redneck.
01:03:58.440 That's a different story.
01:03:59.720 But it'll make sure that you don't have a redneck, you know, from shaving or bikini bumps and nicks and cuts.
01:04:06.920 Imagine how great you'll look coming back out into the public and how clean and tidy your bathroom will be when you get rid of all of the shave creams and soaps and everything else.
01:04:17.180 Get a good, clean shave from Shave Secret.
01:04:20.500 It's available regionally at H-E-B, Wegmans and Amazon, or you can go to ShaveSecret.com, use the promo code Beck, ShaveSecret.com, promo code Beck and save.
01:04:33.260 It's BlazeTV.com slash Glenn to join Blaze TV.
01:04:37.060 Make sure to use the promo code FightTheMob and you'll save 20 bucks.
01:04:40.320 Welcome to the Glenn Beck program.
01:04:46.960 We're glad you're here.
01:04:49.300 I've got a couple of things I want to talk to you about.
01:04:51.640 I want to talk to you a little bit more about Black Lives Matter and some of the things that we that we talked about last Wednesday on the television show,
01:05:04.140 because we went through the funding of Black Lives Matter.
01:05:08.360 And it is it is truly remarkable what you know, what what what we know about Black Lives Matter and how they how they get all of their all of their funding.
01:05:25.880 I want to talk a little bit about one of the things that we we showed last Wednesday is the the group that I don't think you might have heard of,
01:05:39.580 but I don't think you really understand what it is.
01:05:42.620 Democracy Alliance.
01:05:43.780 Have you ever heard of that still Democracy Alliance?
01:05:46.560 Yes, I've heard of it only from you, though, I think.
01:05:48.860 I mean, they're not a yeah.
01:05:50.080 A well-known thing to the average person.
01:05:53.240 Do you know what it is?
01:05:56.640 I don't want to say the word laundering, but, you know, that's that's my impression.
01:06:03.780 Well, OK.
01:06:05.400 All right.
01:06:05.940 Well, I didn't say that.
01:06:07.940 It's a dark money organization, and it was founded by, guess, George Soros, but also has very influential members like Tom Steyer.
01:06:23.640 Tom Steyer.
01:06:25.080 Why do I know that name?
01:06:26.640 Now, since 2005, this one organization, Democracy Alliance, has directed six hundred million dollars to progressive candidates and policies.
01:06:41.060 Six.
01:06:41.480 That's over half a billion dollars.
01:06:44.860 From this one organization.
01:06:47.160 Now, Soros and Rob Stein created this money making jug juggernaut, if you will.
01:06:53.840 And they knew.
01:06:58.720 After the election of President Bush in 2004, they knew that the progressive party was in trouble.
01:07:05.900 And so they got together and they did something.
01:07:08.840 And I boy, I wish I was telling you a story about Republicans doing things like this or or constitutionalist or libertarians doing something like this.
01:07:20.320 But no, no, we don't.
01:07:22.940 So what they did is they get together with 70 of their billionaire friends and millionaires, and they got together with them in 2005 with a long term goal of the progressives taking power.
01:07:39.160 Soros donated 18 million dollars of his own money.
01:07:42.940 Now, here's how they operate.
01:07:44.120 Secrecy, apparently, is paramount.
01:07:47.720 Democracy Alliance, the members meet twice every year, but their agendas are, and who attends, highly guarded secrets.
01:07:57.540 We had a document that was smuggled out of one of the meetings, and it is, it's pretty shocking.
01:08:11.860 It shows media matters for America as one of their main allies.
01:08:17.620 And they outlined a whole way that media matters can operate, but they, gosh, they need more funding.
01:08:26.640 And when you look at the progressive groups that they are funding, it is astonishing.
01:08:33.520 America Votes, American Constitution, Black Civic Engagement Fund, Brennan Center, Center for American Progress, Center for Community Change, Center for Budget and Policy Priorities,
01:08:45.420 the Common Purpose Project, Fund for the Republic, the Latino Engagement Fund, Media Matters for America, New Media Ventures, New Organization Institute, Organizing for Action, Progressive Majority, Progress Now, State Voices, Women's Equality Center, Youth Engagement Fund.
01:09:09.160 I mean, it just goes on and on.
01:09:10.500 I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm really just not even out of the A's.
01:09:16.100 Democracy Alliance maintains its privacy of its members and the dark money.
01:09:22.200 And what they are acting as is this combination of the World Bank and a social network for progressive billionaires.
01:09:30.700 And here's what you have to do if you want to be a member.
01:09:34.280 You have to pay a $25,000 initiation fee.
01:09:38.280 Oh, do they spank my bottom?
01:09:40.500 Uh, $30,000 a year in dues and an additional $200,000 a year to groups that Democracy Alliance supports.
01:09:50.700 But the vast majority of funds come from solicited donations from outside of the billionaires of which Dr.
01:09:58.940 Democracy Alliance serves as a pass through to their favorite organizations.
01:10:03.000 So, it's a pass through.
01:10:06.220 Or what did you so inaccurately describe this as, Stu?
01:10:12.120 I had, I, you know, I was honestly a little distracted.
01:10:15.040 I was thinking about, I have some dirty clothes at home and I need to put them in the laundry machine.
01:10:19.360 Oh, that's why you were talking about the...
01:10:20.620 And clean them and cleanse them so that people wouldn't necessarily know that they were dirty before.
01:10:27.720 But now they'll say, wow, those are clean clothes.
01:10:29.780 And the whole time you'll be thinking, yeah, they've actually been really dirty in the past and you don't know about it.
01:10:34.580 So, that's, I was thinking about a home, a home issue with my clothing and I...
01:10:39.480 Right, okay.
01:10:39.620 I think I, I think I got it.
01:10:42.280 I think I got it.
01:10:43.520 We also talked about how people are influencing what's happening on our streets.
01:10:51.380 Project Veritas had a video that we showed you last week where there are national organizers with a group called Refuse Fascism.
01:11:02.480 And it's an organization that works in tandem with Antifa and now is plotting the destruction of capitalism, you know, from swanky, you know, upscale restaurants where they, where they talk about, hey, we've got, and we have the video of it, you know, George Soros and Tom Steyer.
01:11:24.080 I mean, we, we've been talking to them now.
01:11:26.520 They don't want to be named, but they're going to, they're going to come out and they've got some really big things that they are going to do.
01:11:34.440 And there's going to be, oh, we have the video.
01:11:36.800 Go ahead and play it.
01:11:37.600 Listen to this.
01:11:38.940 We did apply for a grant from Soros at Webbering a long time ago.
01:11:42.920 We actually did get a grant from them.
01:11:45.620 There is going to be a need for thousands of people and millions to come into the streets.
01:11:54.080 We're trying to be with Tom Steyer.
01:11:55.600 We've been talking to his assistant.
01:11:57.640 We're meeting with his main, his main advisor on the future.
01:12:02.740 I think he has political ambitions that he may actually want to not be directly connected.
01:12:11.120 Okay.
01:12:11.700 So they're talking about how they did get money from Soros and how they're meeting with Tom Steyer and they don't want to be directed, directly connected.
01:12:19.940 Um, but that what their goal is, is to put, uh, thousands of people on the streets and then millions of people on the streets this summer.
01:12:30.100 Now this came out before there were thousands on the streets and millions on the streets.
01:12:35.640 And they are talking about, uh, protests and riots and anarchy.
01:12:40.840 This is very, very well crafted.
01:12:44.540 This is exactly what is behind, um, the people of black lives matter.
01:12:51.840 Black lives matter is not a charitable organization.
01:12:56.960 You, you're not when that's why they're not raising money themselves.
01:13:00.980 They'll say give to black lives matter, but when you go there, you're actually giving to act blue, which is a 501 C four stood, you know?
01:13:12.620 Um, and so you can, you can get a charitable contribution, um, for your taxes, but that's because it's going to act blue.
01:13:21.680 And when you see how they're spending their money at black lives matter, very little of it actually goes to black lives matter in the first place.
01:13:33.400 Act, act blue is another.
01:13:37.180 Hey, let me just, pardon me for just saying, Stu, don't forget to do your laundry.
01:13:42.120 Yeah.
01:13:43.040 Okay.
01:13:43.720 Let's make sure we keep up with that because laundering is your, your clothing is very important.
01:13:48.380 Your clothing is very, very important.
01:13:51.720 So anyway, uh, so you're looking now at a group that is, uh, is funding, of course, um, uh, black lives matter and, uh, giving them, uh, the money that you donate.
01:14:10.300 Not all of the money.
01:14:11.820 We don't think not all of the money.
01:14:13.680 We think a portion of the money and out of that portion, about 80% of it goes to the global operations, which means, uh, consulting fees.
01:14:27.400 Hmm.
01:14:28.420 Who are they consulting with?
01:14:29.920 Um, the salaries and the air travel for a global organization.
01:14:37.580 Only 6% of it goes actually to the inner city.
01:14:43.780 Only 6% of it goes to the local chapters.
01:14:47.540 God only knows what they're doing with it, but this is a giant fundraising scheme and it's all going into the same pot that are doing a lot of advertisements and a lot of other things, uh, for the Democrats.
01:15:02.320 So they can win in this next election, we're all being played here.
01:15:07.800 And Mike Pence was right for not saying black lives matter.
01:15:12.940 We all know that they do in reality, but we, those of us who are paying attention also know exactly who these people are and what, how they are using black people, how they are using the plight.
01:15:28.700 Um, and how they are souping things up with all cops are bad, uh, to get their way in November.
01:15:38.500 But they're not only just those power players are not only using the black strife, they are using black lives matter.
01:15:48.380 They're using these, these, these, uh, Marxists to be able to forward it.
01:15:54.680 And there's one thing that, uh, uh, George Soros is not, he's not a Marxist.
01:16:01.480 So why would someone be giving money to a bunch of Marxists because they're useful idiots?
01:16:09.020 They're the ones that will in the end be scooped up.
01:16:12.660 They're the ones in the end that the bottom up top down inside out really is effective right now.
01:16:21.780 You don't really want the top to come down, uh, with, uh, with Donald Trump because Donald Trump is not going to be the effective one.
01:16:32.320 The effective one is possibly the next president who won't even know when he's in the oval office or when he's taking nappy naps and drooling on his pillow.
01:16:42.660 Uh, when Joe Biden gets in, if he, God forbid, gets in, when that happens and the streets rise up, he'll then be authorized to go in and quash those, uh, those few black lives matter, uh, Marxists.
01:17:03.360 And the top will come down and unfortunately it will come down on them and on us.
01:17:10.480 And that's the revolution without a shot fired.
01:17:14.640 That's exactly how it's happened with Marxists and communists over and over and over again in country after country in the 20th century.
01:17:24.760 Rec tech, man, yesterday we had the best, best meat.
01:17:40.880 Uh, we had chicken and steak and we made it on the rec tech.
01:17:45.180 Uh, you can do all kinds of things, um, and not be standing at the grill.
01:17:51.120 You just put them in a rec tech grill and it smokes it all day long.
01:17:56.660 It's a grill and a smoker.
01:17:58.720 You can, you know, participate in anything you want to do, you know, biking, running or not.
01:18:07.480 I mean, give me a pair of binoculars and I'm going to watch your run.

01:18:22.660 Because when you use your rec tech, it's smart grilling technology that allows me and you to set what I want, then control it from an app on your phone indoors.
01:18:33.220 We've been grilling on this thing now for, I don't even know, six months and we love it.
01:18:37.920 It's solid.

01:18:59.640 Hey, we're really excited to be hosting a program here at the Standing Rock Ranch on Thursday.
01:19:07.280 Uh, it is a little bit of history.
01:19:10.680 It's a little bit of inspiration.
01:19:12.920 Uh, it's a little bit about the path forward out of this nightmare.
01:19:17.240 And how do we save our country?
01:19:19.800 Some actual legitimate, uh, steps on a path to saving our nation.
01:19:25.100 And, um, it begins with the covenant and understanding that we are a covenant nation.
01:19:31.180 And what that means, uh, and we're going to take you to, um, the Mayflower in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
01:19:39.800 We're going to take you to a very famous rock in Plymouth.
01:19:44.100 Guess which one it is, Stu.
01:19:47.080 Very famous rock, Plymouth.
01:19:49.180 Bill's rock and tackle?
01:19:51.180 No.
01:19:51.900 No.
01:19:52.240 No.
01:19:52.660 And it's, it's, let me give you another hint.
01:19:55.740 It's not Plymouth rock.
01:19:58.880 Ah, Dwayne Johnson.
01:20:01.340 I don't, I'm, I'm, I'm at a.
01:20:02.880 Yeah, no, it is an, it's a, it's an amazing, it's a much more important and quite honestly,
01:20:10.880 impressive rock.
01:20:12.080 You know, if you ever go to Plymouth and you see Plymouth rock and you're like, that's it.
01:20:16.160 I mean, it's like somebody threw a curb down and just put, you know, 1619 on it.
01:20:22.380 It's ridiculously small.
01:20:24.080 There is another one that you can barely get to, um, because it's really dicey to get to.
01:20:30.940 It's a very small little Island and it is where the covenant was actually made by the pilgrims.
01:20:39.080 It's an amazing story.
01:20:40.500 Um, we're also going to take you to Gettysburg in Philadelphia, uh, and, uh, federal hall in
01:20:47.440 New York city.
01:20:48.440 And it's all going to be anchored here, uh, at the standing rock ranch.
01:20:52.080 And you are going to love it.
01:20:53.880 I urge you to watch this with your family, your friends.
01:20:58.080 Um, yeah, you all should wear masks, but come together.
01:21:02.460 I urge your members of your church to watch it as well.
01:21:05.900 It sets the record straight and then shows you a path to the future of America.

01:21:33.860 And we'll see you Thursday night.
01:21:37.600 Hey, Stu, can you help me out with the Washington posts thinking on the story with a headline?
01:21:44.360 Trump keeps claiming that most dangerous cities in America are all run by Democrats.
01:21:49.380 Well, they aren't.
01:21:51.680 Um, well, technically you're right there.
01:21:54.180 There is, there's one, uh, that is run by an independent and one is run by a Republican.
01:22:01.280 But other than that, in the top 20 most dangerous cities, they're all run by Democrats.
01:22:09.660 Well, I can, I can tell you exactly what their thought is.
01:22:11.980 We've proved Donald Trump is a liar.
01:22:15.620 That's the entire thing.
01:22:17.300 That is, it's like they didn't have the facts when they wrote the story.
01:22:22.400 And then they put all, you know, put all the graphs and the bars and everything else in there.
01:22:28.080 And, uh, editorial didn't meet with the art department at all.
01:22:33.000 And they just kind of ran the story.
01:22:34.940 You were, yeah, I love this from the daily caller.
01:22:37.180 The headline on their story on this is,
01:22:39.580 We swear to God, this is a real Washington Post headline.
01:22:45.040 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:22:50.080 Cheryl Atkinson joins us here in just a second.
01:22:53.040 Uh, I know it may not seem like it, but the dollar is in serious turmoil against hostile foreign currencies right now.
01:22:59.860 The dollar has been the world's reserve currency for a long time.
01:23:04.820 And that is becoming more and more, um, unstable.
01:23:08.380 I, I do believe that we are going to have a massive drop in the dollar soon.
01:23:13.720 Uh, and we are going to lose our reserve currency status.
01:23:17.580 Do you remember when I first started saying that, Stu?
01:23:19.720 It was like, that's crazy.
01:23:22.200 How's that going to happen?
01:23:23.620 Well, we're going to be downgraded, uh, which we were.
01:23:27.120 And, uh, we're going to start buying our own debt.
01:23:31.160 And, uh, everybody goes, that's, that'll never happen.
01:23:35.600 Not only is the Fed buying all of our debt,
01:23:38.380 but think of this.
01:23:39.960 They're also now buying the stock market too.
01:23:44.400 This is not going to end well.
01:23:47.300 It's just not going to end well.
01:23:49.800 I've been telling you about Goldline for a while.
01:23:52.180 And Goldline is now offering you a free presidential medal
01:23:55.720 just to receive an education on how your precious metals can protect your portfolio
01:24:01.220 from total ruin in the event that this, uh, situation does actually happen.
01:24:07.020 Um, tell them that I asked you to call and learn about how to protect your retirement portfolio
01:24:12.480 from unnecessary fluctuation during the times of high volatility.
01:24:16.180 The stock market isn't real.
01:24:20.520 If you're in, if you know what the Fed is buying, go for it.
01:24:25.260 Cause we know they've got tons of money and they'll just keep writing the checks.
01:24:29.140 So those businesses will go up, but I don't know exactly what they're going to do next.
01:24:34.960 So I don't think I'm going to invest cause it's like a lottery.
01:24:39.480 Now limit one per household on the free presidential medal.
01:24:43.340 Get it now.
01:24:44.100 First hundred callers at eight, six, six gold line, one, eight, six, six gold line or goldline.com.
01:24:53.140 Cheryl Atkinson.
01:24:54.600 She is an investigative journalist and, and usually the, the labeled journalist is a smear,
01:25:02.140 but she is a five-time Emmy award winner.
01:25:05.840 The recipient of the Edward R. Murrow award for investigative reporting.
01:25:09.480 When it actually meant something, Cheryl, welcome to the program.
01:25:14.060 How are you?
01:25:15.240 I'm great.
01:25:16.020 Thank you.
01:25:16.420 How are you?
01:25:17.820 I'm good.
01:25:18.660 I'm good.
01:25:19.140 I want to, I want to talk to you about a couple of things.
01:25:21.600 First of all, was, was vice president Pence right for not saying black lives matter?
01:25:29.800 Gosh, I, I just probably wouldn't weigh in on that.
01:25:33.620 I think that we are far too quick to criticize everybody for having a variety of opinions that
01:25:40.760 I think should be welcome on the public stage.
01:25:42.900 I guess that's how I would weigh in on that.
01:25:45.000 Okay.
01:25:45.600 I'm sorry.
01:25:46.200 I forgot.
01:25:46.680 You are actually are a journalist.
01:25:48.580 Um, the, uh, so then tell me what you found about black lives matter and its funding.
01:25:56.540 Well, I'm starting to dig into that now.
01:26:00.500 And I will tell you what I've looked at, not directly related, but I guess tangentially
01:26:06.020 related is, and I see these as all dovetailing together, the efforts to make sure that certain
01:26:12.860 opinions, thoughts, and facts are censored or not seen on social media or the news.
01:26:18.360 Um, and to shout down people who have opposing opinions or who, you know, whether it involves
01:26:23.720 black lives matter and the protests or other topics, who's behind these so-called fact checks
01:26:30.320 being used to make sure opinions are stifled and facts are stifled, who's behind the efforts
01:26:36.000 to narrow the universe of information we get.
01:26:38.760 And there are a few of the same names that do pop up.
01:26:41.760 One of them is, as you mentioned, George Soros of the open society foundations.
01:26:47.160 Um, I looked at the new board that Facebook has created to help determine some of these
01:26:53.840 fact checks and appeal.
01:26:54.960 And one of the first people on there is funded by and works for the George Soros group.
01:26:59.800 Um, if you look at first draft, which is a nonprofit started by Google alphabet, Eric Schmidt, Hillary
01:27:07.080 Clinton supporter, and the last election cycle, it drove the fake news narrative as an effort
01:27:13.300 against conservatives, which was then taken over by the Trump folks, but it was started
01:27:17.900 as a liberal effort against conservatives.
01:27:19.960 Well, who's funding that now?
01:27:21.360 First draft, George Soros is one of the funders.
01:27:24.400 And they've reached out to all kinds of academic institutions that partner with them as if they're
01:27:29.240 a neutral nonprofit that determine and dictate and train journalists and how to ferret out fake
01:27:36.940 news.
01:27:37.220 But you can guess how all of this leans because of the people that are behind the funding for
01:27:42.000 these groups.
01:27:43.880 Cheryl, that is a horrid anti-Semitic trope.
01:27:49.120 Why would you use this anti-Semitic trope against just the wonderful, loving, elderly gentleman
01:27:57.980 we know as Mr. Soros?
01:28:00.140 Well, let me give you the flip side since you brought that up.
01:28:05.040 And I have, I will be calling Soros people as I, you know, as I'm researching for an article
01:28:09.940 I'm writing.
01:28:11.000 And I'm sure they would say, and he would say, this is a well-meaning intentioned effort
01:28:16.400 by a philanthropist who's dedicated, I mean, he is dedicated to this cause, whatever you
01:28:21.540 think the reasoning is, be a true believer in these, you know, the words that he wants
01:28:27.440 pushed and the ones he doesn't want pushed.
01:28:29.560 And I think they would say they're trying to make the world a better place.
01:28:32.380 And there's nothing, nothing more than that behind, you know, what they're trying to do.
01:28:36.220 But I will talk to them and that will be in my article too.
01:28:39.680 Yeah.
01:28:40.100 Well, I can guarantee you that's what they're going to say.
01:28:42.320 We just have a different point of view of, of, you know, doing good.
01:28:47.760 And that's, that's the, that's the thing that we should be talking about.
01:28:52.800 Glenn, here's what I think is important.
01:28:54.440 It doesn't matter whether it's George Soros or the remaining Koch brother or whoever you
01:29:00.140 want to name on whatever side of the political or corporate spectrum.
01:29:02.960 I think my point is anytime you have these fact checks and these, oh, we're going to police
01:29:08.780 hate speech, that's the problem.
01:29:10.880 There's always a non-neutral party behind it or co-opting it.
01:29:14.900 And you cannot guarantee that it's going to be done, that it can be done in any sort of
01:29:19.900 fair or neutral way.
01:29:20.640 And that's what made America so special that nobody was trying to do that, that only that
01:29:25.760 which is illegal in this country, you know, was kind of considered off the stage until
01:29:30.720 the last few years.
01:29:31.920 Now, all these people are trying to define for corporate reasons and political reasons,
01:29:36.520 you know, redefine the line of what we can talk about and the positions we're allowed to
01:29:40.420 have and what we're allowed to say.
01:29:41.860 Why aren't people, Cheryl, in the media, or maybe some of them are, or I don't know, why
01:29:51.700 isn't anyone seemingly concerned about what I think would make Joseph McCarthy blush at
01:29:59.440 this point?
01:29:59.980 I mean, it is, it is hunt down people that are not woke enough at this point.
01:30:07.500 I mean, I saw the story.
01:30:09.440 Here's Van Jones working with the president on this police bill.
01:30:14.800 Van Jones, he's, he's not exactly a conservative and it was not enough for the left.
01:30:23.020 And if you speak out, if you don't have the right opinion, do they see what's, what this
01:30:30.020 is?
01:30:30.460 Do they, do they have any recollection?
01:30:32.220 Do you think?
01:30:34.180 Well, I think number one, people aren't being taught anymore.
01:30:37.440 And this has happened for a generation or so in schools are not reading animal farm in
01:30:42.740 1984 and looking at, you know, American history and the terms that I guess I looked at American
01:30:49.040 history being taught about free speech and how, why it's important to protect objectionable
01:30:54.220 speech and so on.
01:30:55.860 But secondly, the media has slowly been co-opted successfully by these well-funded sources.
01:31:01.080 And I wrote about that in the smear.
01:31:03.640 It's been going on for 20 years at least, but I mean, I really, a concerted effort for
01:31:08.100 20 years to shape the landscape.
01:31:09.540 I think it was largely driven by the pharmaceutical industry, but also, you know, other corporate
01:31:15.480 and political interests that they knew how to get their nose under the tent and the media
01:31:19.500 and that if they can make sure people are interviewed in the news and newsrooms are staffed with
01:31:25.760 certain people and that nonprofits and LLCs and websites and quasi-news sites all get on
01:31:32.400 board because they're all being driven by the same narrative, they can make people feel
01:31:36.220 a certain way and afraid to say, you know, facts that are told, they're told are contrary
01:31:41.380 to the narrative or science or whatever these people claim, whether true or not.
01:31:48.080 You have a new book coming out.
01:31:50.340 It's called Slanted, if I'm not mistaken.
01:31:52.140 But I know you've been doing a lot of interviews on the evolution of the New York Times and CNN.
01:32:02.640 Did anybody go on record and say anything?
01:32:06.640 I mean, because it's almost like they don't even believe they have changed at all.
01:32:13.480 Let me tell you, I interviewed, this is the only book I know of of its kind, news executives
01:32:19.620 and reporters representing every top national news network, ABC, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, all of them.
01:32:27.780 And none of them were comfortable with where news has gone.
01:32:31.220 Now, most of them spoken honestly, not all of them did.
01:32:33.840 Many of them worked at CNN, by the way, and some of them still do.
01:32:38.340 And none of them that I spoke to were comfortable with the direction CNN has taken.
01:32:42.480 A lot of them are appalled by them.
01:32:43.800 And by the way, all of them describe themselves to me, to the extent they gave me their political
01:32:48.380 leanings, as progressive or liberal leanings.
01:32:51.380 So these are not conservatives, and they are uncomfortable with the news.
01:32:55.700 I mean, a top, top executive from a very reputed news organization,
01:33:00.360 actually a program that I respect very highly, just railed at CNN.
01:33:05.580 And he's not a Trump fan, and he's described himself as liberal leaning.
01:33:10.960 But he says, you can't watch CNN anymore and think that it's anything other than a propaganda
01:33:15.180 outfit.
01:33:15.920 And so this is a widely held view.
01:33:18.300 You don't hear expressed for whatever reason.
01:33:20.800 You know, if a journalist wants to keep their job today, too, they're not going to speak out
01:33:25.120 about these things within their organizations or against other organizations, but they spoke
01:33:29.540 quite frankly, you know, to me when I wrote about it for this book.
01:33:33.420 You know, I worked at CNN, Glenn, and that's why probably some of the people talked to me.
01:33:37.720 But what CNN was when I was there in 90 to 93, and what it is today that there's no resemblance,
01:33:44.680 you know, to each other anymore.
01:33:46.280 And if people have been around long enough, they know that.
01:33:49.960 It's funny, because I worked at CNN, and that's why a lot of them won't talk to me.
01:33:54.420 But that's a wholly different story, I guess.
01:33:58.760 So what is the future, then, of the press?
01:34:01.720 If these people know what's happening, why aren't they doing anything?
01:34:07.080 And what do they think the future is?
01:34:10.300 Well, I think our industry has been so blurred with the opinion industry, and then even within
01:34:16.840 the New York Times now on the front page and headlines, you know, they're blending their
01:34:21.320 own opinions without attribution, like everything's changed.
01:34:24.120 And I don't know how or if you can dial that back.
01:34:27.460 I think people now just accept this is sort of a new reality, the best we can hope for.
01:34:32.560 I don't know what's going to come of it is that there will be some, there are many people
01:34:37.180 who want to start sort of a more old-fashioned, neutral news organization.
01:34:40.920 And I think people are trying to do that, and maybe there will be some that will have
01:34:45.080 some success and kind of a place you can turn as an alternative.
01:34:50.580 You know, you'll go to CNN and Fox and these other networks for the news that you want to
01:34:54.900 see, but still maybe then have a new place you can go to where you feel like you're getting
01:34:59.680 just more of a straight story without having to discount what they found on the basis of
01:35:04.520 what you think their opinions are.
01:35:05.920 But I don't know how to root out what has already become endemic now within the news
01:35:11.900 and media industry.
01:35:15.560 That's a little frightening.
01:35:17.100 Back with more of Cheryl Atkinson here in just a second.

01:35:47.360 your connected device.

01:36:39.100 50% off, up to 50% off right now at Norton.com slash back.
01:36:45.800 10 seconds, station ID.
01:36:47.360 So, you know, Cheryl, you were talking about this new Facebook panel, which is truly, truly frightening.
01:37:09.380 One of the people on the panel, you know, is an Islamist, does not have a problem with
01:37:18.180 some of the real extreme things that are happening in the Middle East.
01:37:25.240 Is this a lost cause in social media as well?
01:37:31.380 Well, in the current structure of social media, yes.
01:37:34.420 There are others trying to figure out models whereby social media will be more like our
01:37:40.020 blogs, meaning, and I can't describe this technically the way the experts know how to
01:37:45.460 do it, but whereby you're not dependent upon that platform.
01:37:49.160 In other words, Twitter can't just remove you and take away all of your visibility if
01:37:53.140 it works more like a blog where they can't take your blog down if they don't like it.
01:37:57.180 And there's a way to do that.
01:37:58.400 I don't know how that happens, but there are people working on it.
01:38:02.260 But yes, it's somewhat of a lost cause.
01:38:06.160 I think that the moment that social media companies agreed to become police for whatever
01:38:11.120 reason, they should have said, in my view, would have been in their best interest and
01:38:15.100 everybody's, they should have said, we don't censor anything except that which is illegal.
01:38:19.640 We give you the tools, as they do, to make sure you don't see stuff you don't want to
01:38:23.840 see.
01:38:24.520 And even if you want to opt into our fake fact checks or whatever we do, you can opt in,
01:38:28.660 but you're not forced to take it.
01:38:30.660 Their fact checks and all of this is so non-transparent.
01:38:34.760 And, you know, the new panel Facebook has started says, oh, here's how we're going to
01:38:39.320 handle appeals.
01:38:40.160 Well, they fake fact checked a couple of things that I put out that were completely
01:38:44.440 accurate, but I didn't know how to appeal.
01:38:47.340 I don't have any contacts at Facebook.
01:38:48.820 There's no one I can call, no phone number.
01:38:50.540 But I guess if you figure out how to do that, it now will go to this appeals panel.
01:38:55.540 And most of them are global, not U.S.
01:38:59.060 people, where someone pointed out to me, they don't have the First Amendment, Second Amendment.
01:39:03.320 They view things differently as to what should be allowed and what the worldview of things,
01:39:07.520 you know, things that should be said and shouldn't be said are.
01:39:11.060 So these things are going to be determined.
01:39:12.860 And the more fair they claim to try to be with all of their panels, I think the more conflicted
01:39:18.700 they ultimately become.
01:39:19.860 It's just a no-win situation.
01:39:21.140 So Parler had a huge increase last week in users, and they're coming out and trying to
01:39:32.460 be, you know, the competition for Twitter.
01:39:37.680 The problem is, is when you allow all speech, at the very beginning at least, until you start
01:39:44.780 to get some mass and people from all over, you get the people who couldn't speak elsewhere,
01:39:51.140 and some of it is legitimate hate speech.
01:39:54.340 And so you just, when you go into it, at times you're like, oh, ick, I don't want to be
01:39:59.280 a part of this.
01:40:00.420 And so it doesn't get past that initial phase.
01:40:04.700 Can something like Parler get past that?
01:40:09.860 I think it's a challenge.
01:40:11.460 It's still a question because Gab tried the same thing, and I'm on Gab and Parler.
01:40:15.520 But in addition to people who have objectionable speech that flock to those places, there are
01:40:21.260 also false plants that they go there specifically to sabotage these platforms.
01:40:26.740 They go there and create, you know, anonymous accounts, and they say objectionable, horrible,
01:40:32.360 racist things so that then they can point to that and go, look, Gab is the place where
01:40:37.260 all the racists go.
01:40:38.220 And it sort of feeds upon itself.
01:40:40.520 It's a strategy.
01:40:42.240 And, you know, it's hard to survive that.
01:40:44.820 So then people campaigned against Gab and tried to get them deep.
01:40:47.720 They did get them deplatformed off some of their servers or hosts, whatever you call
01:40:51.960 it.
01:40:52.120 They've gotten Visa not to take their, you know, their money.
01:40:55.240 I mean, there's just these campaigns that you were subject to, these organized campaigns
01:41:00.280 that make sure that everywhere you turn, you're facing opposition.
01:41:04.220 And pretty soon it becomes their reality, becomes sort of the understood public reality, whether
01:41:09.220 true or not.
01:41:10.080 So I don't know.
01:41:11.760 And now that he breaks through those same campaigns that I have faced and others have
01:41:17.900 faced, they're now being turned on Facebook and these big platforms where they've organized
01:41:28.080 the biggest advertisers take a month off and tell Facebook that they've got to police hate.
01:41:36.260 And that may be ultimately, oddly enough, the thing that helps, one of the things that
01:41:41.920 becomes a tipping point that turns things the other way, because the people who want
01:41:46.160 to police speech so strongly and they say hate, but what it really is, some of it could
01:41:51.400 be hate speech, but only certain hate speech from certain people, not from others.
01:41:54.860 And we all know how that goes.
01:41:57.240 It may be where people don't want to use Facebook anymore because the narrowed universe of what's
01:42:02.660 acceptable is so ridiculous.
01:42:04.920 And that may push people to, you know, to other platforms or may push the government to
01:42:10.520 take some action.
01:42:11.240 I don't like the thought of government action either, because I just think anyone who steps
01:42:14.780 in, it just seems to lead to no good.
01:42:19.060 Yeah, it's going to be very bad.
01:42:20.800 All right.
01:42:21.220 A couple of other things I want to talk to you a little bit about COVID.
01:42:23.860 I want to talk about Barr and his task force for the anti-government extremists.
01:42:31.260 I want to talk a little bit about what the New York Times released on Russia and their
01:42:36.020 bounty on the heads of U.S. soldiers.
01:42:38.500 All when we come back with Cheryl Eccleston.

01:44:11.680 Thank you so much for listening.
01:44:13.020 I have a big show on Wednesday on Blaze TV, where we're going to be taking on the 1619
01:44:19.800 project from the New York Times.
01:44:21.920 It is it's poison is absolute poison.
01:44:25.220 And what's crazy about this is it's the same thing that people did in the 1850s,
01:44:32.220 trying to take down the United States.
01:44:35.000 They tried to say that we came from Jamestown and the pilgrims really are just an afterthought.
01:44:41.820 And it was such a big deal that after the Civil War, Congress approved a map and a chart that showed what came out of Jamestown,
01:44:52.020 which was poison and slavery and just horrible stuff.
01:44:55.520 And the blessings of liberty and the blessings of liberty that came out of the pilgrims from the Mayflower.
01:45:02.580 And it's two Americas.
01:45:04.880 And we have to decide which one we are constantly, almost really every day.
01:45:09.560 So we have this special coming up for you on the 1619 project on Wednesday.
01:45:14.340 And then my Independence Day special that is happening Thursday night, July 2nd, this Thursday night at 8 p.m.
01:45:24.100 Eastern.
01:45:24.720 Don't miss it.
01:45:25.500 Blaze TV dot com slash back.
01:45:28.400 Cheryl Atkinson is with us.
01:45:30.280 Cheryl, I want to talk to you a little bit about the covid numbers and what's happening with covid.
01:45:35.840 We've had the protests out.
01:45:39.840 We've had now this weekend big crowds for a gay pride parade in New York and in in Chicago.
01:45:50.740 Doctors have actually put out a position paper about how racism and these protests, et cetera, et cetera, were bigger and more important than covid.
01:45:59.480 And yet at the same time, we're being yelled at to stay inside and keep our masks on.
01:46:06.000 And this isn't over.
01:46:07.160 It's about to get worse.
01:46:08.720 Which is it?
01:46:10.260 Which is it?
01:46:11.560 I don't think we know.
01:46:13.780 And I've spent a great deal of time talking to scientists.
01:46:17.480 Some I know, some I didn't know before this, but are who are working on coronavirus directly, some for the government, some for academic institutions.
01:46:25.140 And despite what is being widely said on the media, such as, well, the mask dispute has been decided.
01:46:31.700 We all know that we should wear masks or the scientific dispute over staying indoors has been decided.
01:46:37.120 We all know it's saving lives.
01:46:38.920 That's not true.
01:46:39.920 According to the scientists, they won't say that necessarily publicly.
01:46:43.480 They say for fear of appearing to contradict Dr. Fauci or national policy.
01:46:48.200 But, you know, scientifically, this is far from conclusive in their view.
01:46:52.060 And I think we won't know a lot of it until some years down the road.
01:46:55.540 And one thing, if history is any guide, we will absolutely look back in a few years and see that some of the things we thought were true were maybe the opposite of what we should have done.
01:47:06.540 I mean, my main objection, Glenn, is, you know, science is like that.
01:47:09.900 So I don't have a problem with the government necessarily initially saying don't wear masks.
01:47:15.040 It hurts.
01:47:15.600 And then, oh, absolutely do wear masks or you're crazy.
01:47:19.000 I don't have such a problem with that if they only had said at the time, this is the best of what we can figure based on what we know now.
01:47:26.800 But they never say that.
01:47:28.160 They act like you were stupid to think you ever shouldn't wear a mask when they were the ones telling you not to wear a mask.
01:47:33.720 It's just, you know, right.
01:47:34.800 And so the whole notion that people are presenting these decided truths when it's very much in flux is what I find objectionable.
01:47:44.440 Well, that and the fact that they speak, like you say, with such authority.
01:47:49.880 This is what it is.
01:47:51.760 And anything else, you're trying to kill people.
01:47:54.060 And then when it's something that they really agree with, like the protests, they will actually say, well, yeah, except for this.
01:48:06.860 And so I don't know how you're going to get people back on board.
01:48:10.620 If it gets bad, they have they've hurt their credibility so badly that if and when this thing, God forbid, starts to really ramp up again and become very dangerous, they're not going to.
01:48:24.180 Nobody's going to listen to them or at least half of the country is not going to listen to them because they have zero credibility.
01:48:30.680 This is a longstanding argument about government, scientists and so on.
01:48:37.060 Every time you pick an issue and they claim at the moment that they know what's right and there are forces out there that try to pretend then, therefore, nothing evolves.
01:48:45.800 The science is settled and so on.
01:48:47.400 But then, you know, logical minds know better.
01:48:50.500 They're ruining their own credibility for the next time.
01:48:53.960 It's not the fault of the public that doubts certain things.
01:48:56.820 They've created that doubt by their past behavior and to blame the people for wondering and for hearing and reading different scientific opinions and then drawing their own conclusions to blame the public as if they're stupid or trying to kill people or hateful.
01:49:10.580 I think this is the fault of those who, as you said, pretend present with such authority things that are not settled and are still unknown, only to be proven incorrect sometimes later.
01:49:22.420 So I just can't understand what people are thinking, honestly, and how this is happening.
01:49:35.120 The mayor, I just talked to the mayor of a small town in Texas called Colleyville.
01:49:40.020 It's a it's a suburb of Dallas.
01:49:43.180 And the news is that this guy is defying all orders and he's saying we're not going to have the police stop you if you're not wearing a mask.
01:49:54.100 I don't care what the governor says.
01:49:55.720 I don't care what medicine says.
01:49:58.360 You're not to wear a mask and we're not going to enforce it.
01:50:01.740 When I got him on the air today and I asked him about it, he said, that's not what I'm saying.
01:50:06.620 I'm saying we don't the police don't have the power to arrest you or to be able to prosecute you.
01:50:17.100 According to our D.A., you can't we can't.
01:50:20.420 This is not a law.
01:50:22.040 It's a recommendation.
01:50:23.400 And so we just wanted to be really clear with our our citizens.
01:50:27.840 Don't call the police if somebody is not wearing a mask because we can't enforce that.
01:50:32.900 So what's the motivation for the press to just get it that wrong?
01:50:40.880 You know, I think there's several issues at play that are deeper and go far beyond coronavirus with.
01:50:48.920 Bigger ideas of what they want to push and why coming into an election cycle.
01:50:53.400 Maybe true beliefs that they have.
01:50:55.380 I think a lot of members of the press are very closed minded and group think ish, which would surprise people because we are supposed to be the ones who would listen to all sides and examine things.
01:51:06.700 But they tend to believe it or not, listen to a government authority like maybe with CDC and not question logically things that should be logically questioned.
01:51:16.880 They tend to say these days, weirdly enough, well, that's the word.
01:51:21.020 That's what's to accept, even if it contradicts something they said three weeks ago.
01:51:25.140 This is now the thing we all have to believe and do.
01:51:27.860 I don't know.
01:51:28.720 I don't really know where that mentality comes in, because I was taught journalism school to question, not just ridiculously question, but to just look at all the stuff that authorities and government corporations are putting out.
01:51:39.940 Want you to believe and try to look critically and neutrally and listen to other sides.
01:51:43.900 But that's that seems like an antiquated notion now.
01:51:48.560 The New York Times reported this weekend that Russia was offering a bounty on our soldiers heads in Afghanistan, which sounds to me like an act of war.
01:52:01.980 Does it sound to you like an act of war, Cheryl?
01:52:04.100 I'd have to research that, Glenn.
01:52:07.720 It's it sounds completely.
01:52:09.560 Yes.
01:52:10.000 Over the line.
01:52:10.820 But I don't know how that works.
01:52:13.240 Right.
01:52:14.040 OK, so.
01:52:15.680 But my question is, this happens.
01:52:18.440 I remember when this was happening, I think, in Afghanistan or maybe in Iraq with Iran.
01:52:24.080 Iran offered a bounty on our soldiers heads.
01:52:27.340 So it has happened before.
01:52:28.680 Have you ever heard it happening before?
01:52:31.000 You have.
01:52:31.900 That doesn't surprise me.
01:52:33.020 Well, no, I've never looked into that issue or heard that.
01:52:35.760 I'm not as well read on every topic as you are.
01:52:37.820 But but, yes, I'm sure that stuff goes on, you know, drug cartels in foreign countries and all kinds of places do that sort of thing.
01:52:46.600 So the New York Times has a problem with the president admitting that he knew this, that we had intel.
01:52:54.360 But if the president would admit that, wouldn't it require a response from us?
01:53:00.680 I'm trying to I'm trying to figure out what the what the ending is here that they're trying to that they would be satisfied with a war with Russia, you know, getting into entangled with them even deeper than we are in a bad way.
01:53:19.540 I mean, what is the president supposed to do?
01:53:24.100 Based on what you just described, it sounds like if he were if they could get him to admit he knew and didn't take action, that proves once again he's a Putin puppet Russian stooge.
01:53:35.920 Or somebody who doesn't want to have a war with Russia.
01:53:41.240 And so let's get out of there or let's develop other strategies.
01:53:45.640 I mean, again, I just don't know what the the end game is on on stories like that.
01:53:55.780 I just think he's not in the know or he's in the know and makes the wrong move or he doesn't have the right interest at heart.
01:54:04.560 It's always something, you know, something related to that.
01:54:07.640 I saw a story last week that said that the president is obsessed with people knowing that he's not losing his marbles, etc., etc., which I found ironic that nobody is printing what they think might be going on with Joe Biden.
01:54:26.220 Does Joe Biden, is there anybody that you would trust or that could say Joe is is maybe not as mentally healthy as he was in 2016, that he's a little slow?
01:54:44.480 Is that a fair question?
01:54:46.000 Is that something that can be answered by anyone other than his own personal doctor?
01:54:52.920 Well, I think that's absolutely a fair question.
01:54:55.580 And it's being asked, you know, and accused every day of Donald Trump, as was during the campaign.
01:55:02.520 You know, these things were being asked and probed and even without evidence, as they say, you know, being said as if true.
01:55:09.480 Certainly, it's a fair question to ask of someone who wants to be president who can make that determination.
01:55:15.320 Well, if his personal physician were to make such a determination, I don't think they would release it.
01:55:20.740 You know, that's his private medical records.
01:55:22.320 We wouldn't know.
01:55:22.940 I guess I would trust if his own medical doctor made a finding like that or he went through some evaluation.
01:55:28.760 I tend to think, you know, you watch Joe Biden and in fairness, he makes all of these strange blunders.
01:55:36.900 But if you also watch him read off teleprompter or speak at other times, he gets by and, you know, I'll bet that a doctor might examine him and say he's normal for his age, whatever that is.
01:55:48.000 It doesn't mean your cognitive abilities are like they were 5, 10, 15, 20 years ago.
01:55:53.280 But he might well be able to pass a cognitive test watching him and listening to him.
01:55:58.700 I think that's going to be up to voters.
01:55:59.900 And I hope he does do debates and we can see both candidates when they're in that sort of an ad lib situation.
01:56:06.200 And we can make our own decisions about how sharp, you know, how sharp we think they are or are not.
01:56:11.100 And it's always isn't it always a little bit of a crapshoot when you're voting for somebody you don't really know if they're going to, God forbid, drop dead of a heart attack tomorrow.
01:56:20.000 You're you're just looking at your best information.
01:56:22.080 You know, there's just no way to know.
01:56:26.780 Cheryl Atkinson, thank you so much.
01:56:29.220 Thanks for the hard work that you do and all of the things that you continue to expose and really, truly trying to find the truth no matter where it lies.
01:56:39.060 I really appreciate it.
01:56:40.480 Thank you so much.
01:56:42.000 Well, thank you for your interest in my work, Lynn.
01:56:43.880 I really appreciate that.
01:56:45.620 You bet.
01:56:46.400 Bye bye.
01:56:47.160 Cheryl Atkinson, please follow her.
01:56:49.160 You can watch her on full measure as well.
01:56:53.260 When you're 87, you kind of expect it might get a little difficult to get around, even if you're the vice president.
01:57:01.180 Aileen is not the vice president.
01:57:03.520 She lives in Kentucky and she discovered that, you know, 87.
01:57:08.060 As my father used to say, don't get old.
01:57:10.560 OK, dad.
01:57:12.060 Well, she was at the point where she could barely walk anymore.
01:57:14.660 Um, and she, you know, she was like, I am not going down.
01:57:20.440 This is not the end of me walking around.
01:57:23.440 So she heard about Relief Factory.
01:57:25.300 She decided to give it a try.
01:57:26.660 And within a few weeks, Aileen wasn't merely just walking.
01:57:29.920 She was literally dancing to music.
01:57:33.240 Aileen's got better things to do.
01:57:35.560 Her pain in the space of a few weeks was gone.
01:57:38.940 And she says completely thanks to Relief Factor.
01:57:42.620 I think it has a lot to do with Relief Factor coupled with her spirit.
01:57:46.620 Aileen got her life back.

01:58:16.040 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:58:18.320 Stu, let's talk a little bit more about the Washington Post and what the Washington Post tried to do and failed miserably.
01:58:26.360 Saying Donald Trump is a liar.
01:58:28.100 He says, you know, most of the most dangerous cities, I think he says all of the most dangerous cities in America are run by Democrats.
01:58:37.440 Washington Post came out and said, no, we looked at 20 cities and two of them.
01:58:42.040 Well, one's an independent.
01:58:43.800 One's a Republican.
01:58:45.480 Yeah.
01:58:45.660 Okay.
01:58:46.040 Well.
01:58:46.920 So they prove for sure that he is a liar with that because I believe it's Jacksonville has a Republican mayor of the top 20 most dangerous cities.
01:58:56.120 Yeah, we're going to go into depth on this on Stude's America, Stude's left-leaning cities or Democrat-run cities, something like that.
01:59:03.260 We haven't come up with the title yet.
01:59:04.160 But it's such a fascinating thing because it's something we did for one of your old books, Glenn, many, many years ago.
01:59:09.380 Yeah, I know.
01:59:10.020 And I remember thinking when we came up with it, I had never seen the analysis anywhere before.
01:59:14.280 And we did it based on poverty, not on danger, but in very similar analysis.
01:59:18.100 And I thought that was going to be something that was really going to catch on with Republicans, where they would make the argument that, hey, we've tried this.
01:59:25.560 This is something that's happened.
01:59:27.000 You guys have tried this for 50 years without a Republican in many of these cities and had nothing but depressing failure for half a century.
01:59:37.120 Maybe it's time to try something else.
01:59:38.680 Detroit was the city of the future in 1960.
01:59:44.280 I mean, it was America's most prosperous city.
01:59:49.700 And yeah, the automobile industry took a beating, but not as much as the city did.
01:59:56.240 I mean, the city has just died in corruption and violence.
02:00:01.500 I mean, it's just horrible in Detroit.
02:00:04.640 Yeah, and one of the more difficult things to do when it comes to this sort of analysis, as we had to do many years ago, is I think you pointed it out.
02:00:12.680 There was 20 mayors.
02:00:14.940 One of them is a Republican.
02:00:16.260 I believe two are independents.
02:00:17.940 However, there are a lot of nonpartisan elections around the country where there aren't party representation.
02:00:22.980 So these quote-unquote independents that run these cities are almost entirely Democrats when you go and check out.
02:00:31.780 Like, they ran as Democrats.
02:00:33.180 They were in a state Senate as a Democrat.
02:00:35.360 They were Democrats throughout their entire life, and then they just went independent for the mayoral election because there aren't parties in that particular election.
02:00:41.720 So it winds up being that the percentages are even worse than usually they're discussed.
02:00:46.000 And you just think at some point you want to try anything different because what they're trying now isn't working.
02:00:52.000 Yep.
02:00:53.160 All right, that's on Stu Da's Big City Mayors, I think, which is a weird film that I don't want to see, but it happens tonight in a blaze.
