00:29:58.720 Well, was it the weekend of May 29th to the following Monday, June 1st was by far the most

00:30:04.700 violent for any major city law enforcement agencies.

00:30:07.480 These events had thousands of people in attendance, including groups with suspected violent extremist

00:30:12.760 ideologies prepared and coordinated resistance was reported by some agencies and similar

00:30:20.600 tactics, such as the use of arson, looting, barricades, caravans, and specific types of

00:30:26.580 weapons were seen in major cities nationwide.

00:30:30.200 Protesters seem to coordinate their movements and actions on these days as if the, as, uh,

00:30:36.680 if the violence and tactics were pre-planned.

00:30:39.640 For example, across the U S major city law enforcement agencies reported peaceful protests

00:30:45.660 beginning in the early to late afternoon and violence beginning.

00:30:49.640 Once it became dark, the report confirms the presence of the far left violent extremists

00:30:56.240 and notes that 78% of surveyed, um, police agencies identified such actors among the protests.

00:31:05.440 51% of agencies also identified far right acts, uh, actors at some protests.

00:31:13.460 Unfortunately, the report offers no details that would let analysts examine how the authors

00:31:18.120 determined violent actors, ideological tendencies, no specifics are included in the report.

00:46:32.060 So let's talk about, let's talk about, uh, what, you know, where do you want to start?

00:46:38.900 Well, let's just start with the overarching theme of what's been happening over the last call it 16 to 17 months, because we have seen the government use the excuse that one person's plight is going to justify disregarding the rights of others.

00:47:01.320 They have been picking winners and losers.

00:47:03.040 They've been deciding who is essential and who is quote unquote non-essential.

00:47:08.460 The most horrible thing a government entity could tell a person or a business.

00:47:13.420 And they've been doing this, not based on data or on science, but based on political clout and connections.

00:47:22.600 And that has enabled the biggest transfer of wealth that we have ever seen in all of history.

00:47:30.200 And it's been going from main street to wall street.

00:47:33.300 And the power has been consolidated from the little guys to the big guys in the club.

00:47:38.760 And I feel like that is the overarching.

00:47:40.580 So let's, let, let, let's break that down a little bit by picking winners and losers.

00:47:46.080 Um, they said, don't go to your ACE hardware store.

00:47:49.340 Don't go to the local hardware store.

00:47:51.040 Don't go to the, the local paint store, whatever.

00:47:54.000 You've got to go to home Depot.

00:47:56.720 You, you, they left these giants open while they closed all of the local businesses.

00:48:06.400 They were the very first.

00:48:07.700 If you look at the very first mandates that came out in Ohio, led the charge on this and

00:48:13.220 a bunch of others followed suit.

00:48:14.820 They were all the small entities.

00:48:17.200 They were small retailers.

00:48:19.820 They were restaurants.

00:48:21.040 And lo and behold, as you said, the big guys were able to be open.

00:48:25.460 The one that I found just so completely absurd was that you could get your dog's hair and

00:48:31.820 nails groomed, but you personally couldn't get your own hair and nails groomed.

00:48:37.000 And there was no data or science to say that that was okay.

00:48:41.940 And then they doubled down on it.

00:48:43.660 So it wasn't like they did this for the 15 days to slow the spread that we're now like

00:48:48.380 500 days into.

00:48:49.700 They continued to double down on that messaging.

00:48:53.800 And it got so absurd that at later in the year, as they started doing reopening, you

00:48:58.900 would have places like New York saying, oh, if you're a bar, you need to serve food. 0.96

00:49:03.940 But you know, if you have chips, that's not good enough.

00:49:07.340 You need to serve dip with it.

00:49:08.780 So like, what's the science behind the fact that the dip protects you from COVID?

00:49:13.480 So what is your theory on why they did this?

00:49:17.280 So this is all about decentralization versus centralized power.

00:49:24.980 If you think about the economy and you kind of divide it right down the middle, you have

00:49:30.180 half of the economy that is decentralized.

00:49:33.440 It looks a lot more like a free market.

00:49:35.380 This is the small business side.

00:49:37.640 And this before COVID was about 30.2 million small businesses that really exemplified the

00:49:45.220 free market.

00:49:46.280 The other half of the economy is in the hands of about 10 to 15,000 big businesses.

00:49:53.620 And this goes for GDP and jobs.

00:49:56.580 So if you are a politician who is trying to consolidate power, you're trying to get more

00:50:02.500 under your purview, you're trying to get lobbying dollars, you're trying to get more support maybe

00:50:08.220 for your own campaign, it's much easier for you to deal with 10 or 15,000 big companies than

00:50:16.920 it is to try to corral the 30.2 million small businesses.

00:50:20.920 So I think that that is the driver.

00:50:25.000 But whether you think it's nefarious, intentional, or incompetent, the fact of the matter is that

00:50:31.540 the big government has gotten so big and so out of control that the result would be the

00:50:36.260 same, whether or not the intention is that the small businesses are too small to matter

00:50:41.500 or too hard to control.

00:50:43.060 So what's interesting to me is in 2008, they said these banks are too big to fail, which

00:50:50.760 implied we should make sure we support the smaller banks to get these other banks to, A, pay

00:51:01.140 for their own mistakes and grow the banking sector, if you will, grow it out, not up, and it would

00:51:12.760 provide some stability.

00:51:14.160 But that's exactly the opposite of what they did.

00:51:17.680 And it seems like they're doing that again, this time with small businesses.

00:51:23.080 Yeah, I'm so glad you brought this up.

00:51:25.440 This is the perfect example.

00:51:28.020 So back in 2007, 2008, the banks took on too much risk, and that created these horrible consequences

00:51:36.380 for the economy, not just here in the U.S., but worldwide.

00:51:39.080 We all paid the price, but as you said, they were too big to fail.

00:51:43.900 So they got a taxpayer bailout.

00:51:46.280 The slap on the risk that they got was in the terms of legislation, Dodd-Frank, and they

00:51:53.820 said, ha-ha, we are going to rein in these big banks.

00:51:56.860 Even though they're too big to fail, we've got to make sure that we make room for the

00:52:00.240 little guy.

00:52:00.740 But the effect, the outgrowth of that legislation is it stopped the formation of small and community

00:52:07.720 banks.

00:52:08.440 It put a bunch of smaller players out of business, and it completely killed off small business

00:52:13.260 lending.

00:52:14.180 At the same time, the big businesses now had no competition.

00:52:17.900 They also had basically free money from the Fed being pumped into the system.

00:52:22.180 And so the big businesses got bigger, and big business lending went through the roof.

00:52:27.680 So what was meant to rein in, the big banks actually gave them free rein.

00:52:33.180 And now contrasting that to what's happened this time, small businesses didn't take on

00:52:38.400 too much risk.

00:52:39.240 It's not that they needed a quote-unquote bailout.

00:52:42.980 They were mandated shut.

00:52:45.040 So compensating them is basically eminent domain.

00:52:49.020 Their property was taken quote-unquote for the good of society under the Constitution.

00:52:54.800 And so that's not a bailout.
