The Glenn Beck Program - Our Kids Are at Stake ｜ Guests： Russell Vought & Christopher Rufo ｜ 9⧸9⧸20

00:00:00.000 Welcome to the program. Our sponsor is Home Title Lock. It's, you know, look, one day

00:00:04.240 you're going to be sitting there and you're going to think, oh, I wish I had Home Title Lock

00:00:07.460 when you realize that someone has used your title to borrow all of your money and all of your

00:00:13.300 equity in your home. It's not something that you necessarily think of on an everyday basis,

00:00:18.140 but your retirement is usually sitting in your home. That's the way Americans do it.

00:00:23.920 And cyber criminals are finding ways to go online and get your home's title.

00:00:28.660 They can forge your signature on a quick claim and deed. And then what? Then what? You are

00:00:34.940 basically screwed because they can take that equity. You need to protect yourself before 0.99

00:00:39.160 this happens. Home Title Lock is the place that I use. In fact, the only place that I'm aware of

00:00:44.320 that can do any of this type of stuff. Home Title Lock is used by Glenn. It's used by

00:00:49.120 Pat Gray as well. And the instant they detect tampering, they just shut it down. So you don't

00:00:54.960 have to worry about it. You have to go through this process. You don't have to unwind things

00:00:58.540 for months and months on end. Deal with a legal process. None of that has to happen.

00:01:02.240 Go to HomeTitleLock.com. Register your address to see if you're already a victim and don't know it.

00:01:06.360 Then use the code BECK for 30 free days of protection. The code is BECK at HomeTitleLock.com.

00:01:12.980 HomeTitleLock.com. Protect yourself. Protect your home. Protect your equity. Protect your future.

00:01:17.820 At HomeTitleLock.com. The code is BECK for 30 risk-free days. The radio show starts in just a second.

00:01:28.540 What you're about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.

00:01:51.740 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

00:01:58.260 Hello, America. Welcome to the Glenn Beck Program. Today, the greatest threat we face.

00:02:06.260 And what are we going to do about it? We begin in a very important program in 60 seconds.

00:02:14.680 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

00:02:17.180 Okay. We want to thank our sponsor, Relief Factor, for bringing relief to just heaps of people in our audience.

00:02:31.640 I've been telling about Relief Factor for years now.

00:02:34.800 And I want you to know that I believe in it more than when I first started.

00:02:39.600 When I first started, I only had, what, a couple of months, maybe three months of experience of it changing my pain.

00:02:45.800 Now I've got over two years, and I have seen it work in my own life, and I've seen it work in hundreds of people that I have personally met.

00:02:55.500 Some of them who had debilitating pain had to be on heavy narcotics every day, and they got their life back.

00:03:03.740 Now, I don't know if you have that kind of pain or just, you know, pain from just getting older or whatever.

00:03:10.000 However, I have been so impressed with the commitment of Pete and Seth Talbot and their dedication on defeating pain when they started Relief Factor.

00:03:19.940 They have been soldiers in this for a while, and they are just really, really good people.

00:03:25.500 If you have pain and you want your life back, please try Relief Factor.

00:03:32.760 It's not a drug, but developed by doctors.

00:03:35.280 And 70% of the people who order it go on to order more.

00:03:40.160 The three-week quick start.

00:03:41.400 You should know in three or four weeks if it's going to work for you.

00:03:44.480 Try it.

00:03:45.280 I take it three times a day, morning, lunch, and dinner time.

00:03:48.880 What do you have to lose besides your pain and getting your life back for the rest of your life?

00:03:56.220 It is so worth it.

00:03:57.740 Relief Factor.

00:03:58.640 Call them now at 800-583-84, 800-583-84.

00:04:02.920 It's relieffactor.com.

00:04:18.880 I want to talk to you today about the special that we're doing tonight.

00:04:26.100 I don't know how to express this in any clearer terms.

00:04:35.160 We are at the end of the road.

00:04:37.580 And if we don't start working together and we don't start standing up for our faith, for our country, and as you will see tonight, for our children, you are going to lose all of them.

00:04:56.620 And it's going to happen at a breathtaking pace.

00:05:01.880 Tonight, I am going to show you what is being done in our schools.

00:05:07.580 Our schools, because of the teachers' union, and there's no reason any teacher has to spend their money in the teachers' union.

00:05:16.520 You don't, you're not forced to join them.

00:05:18.900 You're not forced to give them money.

00:05:21.880 If you are a teacher, stop giving the teachers' unions money.

00:05:27.920 They are not helping.

00:05:30.480 They are actively working now to destroy our country and our children.

00:05:37.580 There's a couple of things that I want to show you.

00:05:41.440 Yesterday, there was a document dump that we're going to get into next hour that you really need to listen to.

00:05:51.480 You need to understand how serious this is.

00:05:55.640 There was a department of education was involved in a symposium that happened that talks about how teachers need to teach the children how to build the framework of a new world.

00:06:21.800 And I'm going to quote from some of the things.

00:06:25.240 We're going to get into this one in next hour.

00:06:28.580 If you've been oppressed for 400 years, you'd want to start over.

00:06:32.140 This world was not set up for people of color, so we need to tear this thing down. 1.00

00:06:36.500 The ideas of abolition need to consciously tear down the system that oppresses people.

00:06:42.940 Do away with prisons.

00:06:45.440 Tear down the conditions that create prisons.

00:06:48.740 Schools are like prisons.

00:06:50.240 These children are not worthy of a particular type of learning. 1.00

00:06:56.520 They talk about a racial contract that says in America it's okay to kill the black man, but not okay to kill the white man. 0.95

00:07:07.280 They have to take down the ideas of racial contracts. 0.94

00:07:11.820 We all live in this world with the same rules.

00:07:14.940 Racism is propped up by the racial contract. 0.63

00:07:17.800 No rules were written.

00:07:18.880 People have been fighting for 400 years against racism.

00:07:22.800 Their lives are now disposable, not worthy of humanity.

00:07:27.380 They have to manage the oppression.

00:07:29.780 Schools are built to manage racism.

00:07:33.400 And the work of fighting racism must be the work of white and all people. 0.80

00:07:38.400 Black people didn't start this. 0.81

00:07:40.340 They say reform is not enough.

00:07:43.420 Teachers must push for the abolition of prisons, overthrowing the capitalist wage labor system, radically changing the school system, and tearing down the structures that impede anti-racist education.

00:07:56.820 This was something that happened just a few months ago last fall.

00:08:04.480 And we are going to tell you all about it next hour with the guy who exposed it and found all the documents.

00:08:13.060 It is truly remarkable.

00:08:16.940 Last night, I reached out to the Secretary of Education, Betsy DeVos.

00:08:22.280 I received a note that they are aware of it.

00:08:26.600 They are working to find out exactly what happened.

00:08:30.320 But we did have Department of Education people there at this symposium.

00:08:37.340 But that's not all.

00:08:43.920 Also, on tonight's program, I am being told, and we have our attorneys looking into it,

00:08:54.380 but I am being told that if I show the things that I have to show you tonight,

00:09:02.680 if I show them, and they're not blurred, that a case could be made that I should go to jail for child pornography.

00:09:16.200 It's according to the law, this kind of depictions that I am going to show you are only you're only able to show them in an academic setting or in a museum.

00:09:31.140 Anybody else, you'll be nailed for spreading child pornography.

00:09:37.780 But what I'm showing you tonight is what is coming in your children's textbooks.

00:09:44.700 It is the first sexual education redo in 25 years.

00:09:54.260 Imagine in this society what the teachers' unions are putting into our books now. 0.96

00:10:03.420 It involves third-grade education of mutual masturbation. 0.99

00:10:09.900 So little Johnny and little Susie can get together and masturbate, and it's okay together. 0.96

00:10:14.600 Over the last few months, I have been exposing things like the pandemic war game called Event 201. 0.94

00:10:25.360 That was sponsored by the World Economic Forum and Bill Gates.

00:10:31.160 I have told you the truth behind the Marxist movement called Black Lives Matter.

00:10:36.340 I have told you the beginnings of what the World Economic Forum is doing to destroy capitalism, and it is called the Great Reset.

00:10:47.860 Yesterday, I tweeted out something that came from the United Nations, where they are talking about the Great Reset.

00:10:55.320 That now COVID has shown us that we need to reset our society, and it goes right directly to taking down the free market, the Western culture, America, and society as we know it, brick by brick.

00:11:14.420 Our children are being targeted directly in the classroom.

00:11:23.440 Comprehensive sexuality education is now being voted on in states all over the country.

00:11:30.360 In some states, it's already signed into law.

00:11:33.240 It will be in your child's textbooks.

00:11:36.900 It is the most disgusting and explicit content I have ever seen.

00:11:42.640 It is disturbing.

00:11:49.680 I got home last night, and my wife said,

00:12:00.380 How was your day?

00:12:04.960 And I really couldn't even answer.

00:12:08.080 She asked me three hours later,

00:12:10.000 So what happened today?

00:12:12.640 I said,

00:12:15.380 Nothing, honey.

00:12:16.940 And that's the problem.

00:12:18.740 Nothing.

00:12:19.960 I don't know why people won't stand up.

00:12:27.240 What are we afraid of?

00:12:28.760 I was mocked and ridiculed 10 years ago for saying,

00:12:35.300 I fear for my country,

00:12:36.680 that we're going to lose our country to Marxism.

00:12:40.680 Well, here we are.

00:12:42.140 And I'm telling you, we are one election away,

00:12:45.900 one election away from losing our country.

00:12:50.780 And both sides know it.

00:12:54.020 They feel it.

00:12:55.420 They know it.

00:12:58.640 And I was mocked for crying over that.

00:13:02.240 I'm done crying over that.

00:13:06.280 Because there is something else that we're on the verge of losing that is far more dear.

00:13:11.680 And the consequence is eternal.

00:13:17.640 We are about to lose our children.

00:13:22.020 And that threat is very real.

00:13:27.080 Big tech has them controlling the up next that we've shown you over and over again.

00:13:33.800 They are controlling the algorithms of what's next.

00:13:37.480 Your kids watch YouTube.

00:13:38.500 They most likely just keep watching them.

00:13:41.420 Just keep watching them.

00:13:42.620 And YouTube is feeding it.

00:13:44.340 It's brainwashing.

00:13:46.640 We've shown you the algorithms on what they're doing.

00:13:50.460 So big tech is brainwashing them.

00:13:53.200 Gaming is teaching them to kill.

00:13:55.980 Online social media.

00:13:57.860 If my kids bring one more piece of news from social media.

00:14:02.400 My kids.

00:14:04.240 And try to tell me, no, this is.

00:14:07.260 They don't know.

00:14:08.120 You don't know how to find the truth.

00:14:11.280 How is a 14-year-old going to know the truth?

00:14:15.960 And then we send them to indoctrination camps.

00:14:19.580 Formerly known as public schools.

00:14:23.160 And private schools.

00:14:25.380 And charter schools.

00:14:27.400 And Christian schools.

00:14:29.640 That don't have the spine or the spiritual insight to see the evil.

00:14:35.400 That is in Marxism and BLM. 0.70

00:14:39.740 What are you afraid of?

00:14:41.740 Is it that you're afraid?

00:14:43.280 Or is it just that you've just been.

00:14:45.940 You're just too comfortable.

00:14:47.860 Which is it?

00:14:49.860 If you're too comfortable.

00:14:51.560 I don't know what's going to wake you up.

00:14:54.060 I don't know.

00:14:54.980 If you're afraid, I understand.

00:14:59.940 It's a scary time to be in America.

00:15:03.320 It is.

00:15:04.340 You're afraid of losing your job.

00:15:05.980 Your friends.

00:15:06.780 Your family.

00:15:07.800 Through the cancel culture.

00:15:09.620 You're afraid of losing your country.

00:15:11.280 Because they have done a number on you for a long time.

00:15:20.000 They've told you that the promise of America.

00:15:22.400 That the days of your children having a better life than you are over.

00:15:30.120 Well, who told you that?

00:15:32.160 The same administration.

00:15:34.200 The same Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

00:15:36.820 That said the economy will never get better.

00:15:39.840 That we'll never create more jobs.

00:15:42.540 When Donald Trump said that's a lie.

00:15:45.060 We'll create I don't know how many millions he promised at the time.

00:15:48.640 I even scoffed and said.

00:15:50.800 I mean, yes, the economy is not over.

00:15:53.060 And we can do more than we're doing. 0.93

00:15:54.680 But that's ridiculous. 0.91

00:15:55.940 And I believe we hit them. 0.79

00:15:58.440 We hit a job and an economy that has never been hit in this country's history.

00:16:05.120 And we believe that there's not a better tomorrow.

00:16:07.960 Of course there is.

00:16:09.300 If we get Marxism, socialism, and government out of our way.

00:16:16.020 There is a better tomorrow for our children.

00:16:18.820 But only through the Constitution and the free market.

00:16:22.040 And decent principles and morals.

00:16:24.460 I have to tell you.

00:16:28.780 I'm afraid of losing my freedom.

00:16:30.520 I'm afraid of losing my voice.

00:16:34.020 If this election goes the other way, my voice and voices like mine will be silenced.

00:16:39.480 But I am more afraid to losing my child to the darkness, to the hatred, chaos, and the lies.

00:16:49.080 From the author of all lies that are being spun by BLM and Marxists and revolutionaries. 0.81

00:16:55.660 We have already lost one generation.

00:16:58.800 They are now ensuring that we lose this one that is coming up right now.

00:17:03.120 And your kids are being taught that you're too old.

00:17:07.000 You don't get it. 1.00

00:17:07.920 If you're white, you're a racist. 0.99

00:17:09.720 If they're white, they need to apologize and stand in the back of the line literally soon to ride in the back of the bus. 1.00

00:17:16.420 We are Americans. 0.97

00:17:19.720 And once we roared passionately like lions.

00:17:23.300 And we followed it with action that conquered lies.

00:17:26.740 Because we had steel in our spines.

00:17:29.400 We knew the truth and we used it as our shield.

00:17:32.400 The truth that all men are created equal.

00:17:35.400 That two plus two do equal four.

00:17:37.680 That man should be judged by the content of our character.

00:17:40.760 Not the color of our skin.

00:17:42.840 That protests are American.

00:17:44.640 But organized riots that set out to create fear to intimidate the populace into destruction.

00:17:51.940 And the destruction of our constitution is the very definition of domestic terror.

00:17:57.880 And we were clear on that.

00:18:00.940 We were clear that the family matters.

00:18:03.460 That it's the universal building block.

00:18:05.860 And it is now being openly dismantled.

00:18:09.220 BLM is calling for the end of the traditional family on their own website.

00:18:15.640 But most Americans fail to do their basic homework.

00:18:19.620 We are no longer roaring like lions.

00:18:22.100 We are bleeding like sheep.

00:18:25.200 We must not rise up in anger or with violence.

00:18:28.860 But we must rise up together with righteous indignation.

00:18:33.060 With a firm reliance in divine providence.

00:18:36.060 We should today be in every school collectively letting them know.

00:18:39.780 They work for us.

00:18:41.700 Not the other way around.

00:18:43.700 These are our children.

00:18:48.320 For the sake of our wives, our husbands, our children, our religions, our God and our liberty.

00:18:54.740 We must begin to stand up united.

00:18:59.380 And stop evil dead in its tracks.

00:19:02.380 And drive that darkness back into the abyss from which it came.

00:19:06.100 If we don't stand now and defend our families and our children, then we are indeed lost.

00:19:14.320 And Saul Alinsky, who dedicated his book for rules of radicals, to Satan.

00:19:19.900 And Marx, who brought death and destruction to the entire world.

00:19:23.280 Whose teachings killed more people in the 20th century than anything other than disease.

00:19:28.500 Then those people were right.

00:19:31.120 That men can be bullied.

00:19:33.220 Man cannot rule himself.

00:19:35.720 You need a strong man to tell them what to do and who they'll become because they're sheep.

00:19:42.680 Well, I will not bleat.

00:19:46.780 More in a minute.

00:19:47.680 Let me tell you about Shave Secret.

00:19:54.100 All the commercials for all kinds of products now claiming that, you know, going to make your shaving experience better when all they really do is clutter up your bathroom.

00:20:01.540 It'd be nice if you just had one product instead of all the soaps and gels and foams and the, you know, 12 blades, the razors.

00:20:09.260 I mean, the good news is Shave Secret has you covered.

00:20:13.040 Shave Secret is a proprietary blend of essential oils.

00:20:16.540 And it comes in a small bottle and is small enough to fit in a travel case.

00:20:20.680 And it's that small because it's going to last you for a very long time.

00:20:24.500 With Shave Secret, all you have to do is put a couple of drops on a moist palm, rub it into the area you want to shave your face or ladies, your legs.

00:20:31.460 And you'll be left with the smoothest, best smelling shave of your life.

00:20:35.000 And you'll end up wondering why Shave Secret hasn't been in your life the whole time.

00:20:40.680 Say goodbye to all the crazy products and hello to Shave Secret.

00:20:45.760 Shave Secret, available regionally at H-E-B Wegmans, Walmart and Amazon.

00:20:50.560 Or you can go to ShaveSecret.com, use the promo code BEC and get a 10% discount.

00:20:56.060 Back in a second, actually 10 seconds, station ID.

00:20:59.880 Tonight, 9 p.m. Eastern, I urge you, please, to watch.

00:21:24.540 What we're going to expose tonight is part two of Brainwashed.

00:21:31.540 We showed you last week or two weeks ago in part one of Brainwashed, we showed you what was being taught in our schools about Marxism and about America and the 1619 project.

00:21:43.540 By the way, we have I think I think we have the head of the OMB on with us here in a second to talk about the defunding of any schools that are running with the 1619 project.

00:21:56.480 But you must be involved tonight.

00:22:00.800 Tonight, I'm going to show you part two, and it is really very, very disturbing.

00:22:06.640 And I don't care what anybody says, you know, call me a prude if you want.

00:22:11.400 This stuff cannot be taught to our children.

00:22:14.700 They are destroying our children, destroying them.

00:22:19.440 And it is the teachers unions that are behind it all.

00:22:22.960 We're going to give you more information on something that we're not covering tonight.

00:22:28.400 We just only have an hour.

00:22:29.700 We're going to do that in about 30 minutes.

00:22:32.620 Please.

00:22:33.500 We have solutions, but they involve everyone standing together in lockstep.

00:22:40.680 If we go into our schools one at a time, they're going to dismiss us.

00:22:45.140 But just as we did with Common Core, when we stand together, things change.

00:22:51.780 You need, you're being drafted today.

00:22:55.540 You're listening for a reason.

00:22:57.040 You need to share this information with everyone you know and get active.

00:23:00.900 We'll tell you how.

00:23:01.720 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

00:23:06.260 Okay.

00:23:07.120 Rough Greens.

00:23:08.020 Not a dog food, but a supplement that you put on your dog's food, and they love it.

00:23:12.920 Marjorie in California writes that she had put her dog Rosie on a diet.

00:23:17.720 I think we can all agree that that's a cruel, unusual punishment.

00:23:21.780 But it would be, I mean, unless Rough Greens that she puts on Rosie's food every day was 1.00

00:23:28.500 delicious to dogs, at least.

00:23:30.660 They love it.

00:23:31.560 Love it.

00:23:32.800 Now she doesn't seem to mind the diet.

00:23:34.820 She loves it.

00:23:35.460 She lost eight of the 15 pounds she's supposed to lose so far. 0.99

00:23:39.180 I know what you're thinking, but no, I'm not going to put Rough Greens on any of my food.

00:23:43.860 Rough Greens, not a dog food.

00:23:45.460 It's a supplement that you put on your dog's food, contains all the nutrients that your

00:23:49.120 dog needs, which get cooked out of kibble food.

00:23:52.380 And when it's being made, all of the probiotics are killed.

00:23:56.120 Antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, omega oils, all the things your dog needs to live a healthier

00:24:01.100 lifestyle.

00:24:01.920 They're the things in Rough Greens.

00:24:03.060 You can find it at ruffruffgreens.com slash beck, ruffgreens.com slash beck, or call them

00:24:12.480 at 833-GLEN-33.

00:24:16.920 Well, that half hour didn't convince you to join Blaze TV.

00:24:19.820 I don't know what will.

00:24:20.800 BlazeTV.com slash glen.

00:24:22.260 The promo code is glen.

00:24:24.000 Watch tonight.

00:24:24.600 This is the Glenn Beck program.

00:24:36.020 So yesterday, something Betsy DeVos and I spoke about on our special two weeks ago when we

00:24:43.560 were talking about critical race theory being taught in our schools.

00:24:48.960 She said, I said, why don't we defund? 0.57

00:24:51.840 And she said, we are looking into several options.

00:24:55.060 Well, yesterday we found out that the White House has ordered an end of critical race theory

00:25:00.320 training now for government agencies.

00:25:03.780 That's a start.

00:25:04.820 We need to get it out of our schools as well.

00:25:07.880 We have Russ Vogt on with us.

00:25:11.340 He's the director of Office of Management and Budget.

00:25:14.140 And what that does, in case you don't know, this is the guy responsible for overseeing the

00:25:18.880 implementation of the policy from the president, the management, the regulatory agendas all

00:25:24.860 across the executive branch.

00:25:26.960 Kind of a tough job when you got a guy that is doing so much to cut all of that stuff.

00:25:34.220 Russ, how are you, sir?

00:25:35.760 I'm doing fine.

00:25:36.580 Thanks for having me on, Glenn.

00:25:37.640 You bet.

00:25:38.400 So, first of all, what was it that was seen at the federal level that got the president's

00:25:45.320 attention and said, we got to stop this right now?

00:25:48.740 Well, I think you've seen a lot of these kinds of reports begin to percolate up in the news.

00:25:53.940 And we specifically mentioned that in the memo that we put out on Friday.

00:25:58.800 But, you know, the president has seen some of the great work that's been put out there by Chris

00:26:03.840 Ruffo, some of the investigative work that's being done as a result of whistleblowers, quite

00:26:09.700 frankly, as we get a handle on the many areas where the agencies are often contracting out with

00:26:16.920 third parties that have ideological bents that are teaching content that's inconsistent with

00:26:24.560 the long history of our country, but quite frankly, the future of our country.

00:26:30.780 Because if you teach the workers of the federal government to hate their country, where are we going to be

00:26:38.260 down the road?

00:26:39.100 So, we did some important work last week on behalf of the president, and we're going to be

00:26:44.920 working to make sure it actually gets implemented and it's not just a policy prescription.

00:26:49.160 So, how pervasive was it?

00:26:51.520 How many agencies were involved?

00:26:54.560 Was any of it systematic or was it all coming from, you know, this BLM movement?

00:27:02.100 It's not new, that's for sure.

00:27:05.100 But to be honest with you, Glenn, we're just getting at the beginning of this process.

00:27:10.040 We want to do a full review.

00:27:11.920 We want to have extensive implementation guidance.

00:27:14.760 We want to do a formal rack up of all the spending.

00:27:17.440 We don't want it to just be anecdotal, although we have quite a bit of anecdotes that we know

00:27:24.640 of, which is why we put out essentially a cease and desist letter to get started in the meantime.

00:27:30.540 But this has been going on for a number of years, it seems like, and is not just a result

00:27:36.720 of the last several months of the BLM movement and the unrest that it has caused across the 0.64

00:27:44.620 country. I think it, you know, if I'm guessing, a lot of it was ramped up in the last administration

00:27:51.360 and it has probably ramped up in the last several months as agencies trying to make sense of the

00:27:58.880 moment that we're in.

00:28:00.360 But unfortunately, they got some bad guidance and some bad instincts on that front.

00:28:04.880 So this is the kind of stuff that makes a deep state possible when you have one arm of the

00:28:13.100 federal government teaching that the federal government is racist and all of the anti-American

00:28:19.520 Marxist kind of teachings that just go on without really anyone saying anything.

00:28:28.360 Or, I mean, at this point, can you even put a finger on when it started or where it started

00:28:34.880 or who's responsible?

00:28:37.160 Not yet. And we're hoping that our review can help us draw some firm conclusions from that.

00:28:43.940 And if we need larger policy solutions, we'll do that as well.

00:28:48.300 The president has made that clear.

00:28:49.780 But I do think that it is a challenge when you have these big agencies, often the policy

00:28:58.800 officials that the president has put in charge that represent the American people based on

00:29:03.180 the last election don't have awareness of the types of professional development or workplace

00:29:10.860 training that goes along.

00:29:12.300 And I'm sure they get whiffs of emails that get sent around to invite them to this or that.

00:29:19.780 Another aspect of, I think, what the president was trying to do, Glenn, is provide cover for

00:29:24.700 the hard decisions that agency heads can now make to root this stuff out.

00:29:29.780 We had seen this before the memo from Secretary of Energy Dan Briette.

00:29:33.620 The minute he was made aware of some of the trainings that were going on in the national labs by

00:29:39.320 Sandia Corporation, he immediately asked for a review.

00:29:43.640 But that takes courage, quite frankly.

00:29:48.280 And the president has basically said, look, we're going to do this government wide.

00:29:54.200 And so all of my policy officials can get after the work and I'll wear the pressure on his

00:30:01.840 shoulder.

00:30:02.140 So can you, and you may not be the right person to ask, but there's a lot of people that see

00:30:09.520 critical theory.

00:30:10.800 They don't know what it is.

00:30:12.200 When you connect it to Marxism and communism, they roll their eyes.

00:30:16.280 They think that's nonsense.

00:30:18.700 Can you explain what it is and why it's so destructive?

00:30:23.560 Sure.

00:30:24.120 And I had this conversation with a dear friend of mine last night who had concerns about the

00:30:29.200 memo, or at least wanted to have an awareness of the memo.

00:30:31.660 And that is critical race theory is the view of our institutions, that the reason we see

00:30:38.620 some forms of inequity is because our institutions are rotten, that they are systemically racist,

00:30:46.660 that the founding was flawed because of its racism.

00:30:51.980 And it is a kind of, the critical aspect of it is the critique is that we're not headed

00:31:00.060 toward, we were not, the civil rights movement was not successful, that we have not moved

00:31:05.100 towards a colorblind society.

00:31:07.160 And that one of the reasons is that our institutions are flawed and are leading to ongoing inequities.

00:31:15.200 And so that's the critical aspect of it that leads people to kind of think through, if something's

00:31:22.720 fundamentally flawed to the core, then you need to tear it down.

00:31:25.860 The institution needs to be brought down.

00:31:28.340 And we look out over the last several months and we see critical race theory on all of our TVs,

00:31:34.200 the wages of putting this into the bloodstream, as opposed to a different view, which I think is what

00:31:40.580 the American founding was about, and I've seen on your programs before, Glenn, which is we are

00:31:48.820 individuals made in the image of God.

00:31:51.960 And as a result, we are afforded dignity as a result of that.

00:31:56.040 And the highest aspirations of our country were reflected in the Declaration of Independence

00:31:59.920 and our Constitution.

00:32:01.760 And over time, we also have been reforming out of our system, little by little, individuals

00:32:09.280 by individuals, movement by movement, an effort to eliminate where there is sin

00:32:16.460 and where there is evil and dysfunction.

00:32:19.760 And that gets reformed out, but it doesn't say that the whole enterprise, the whole project,

00:32:27.200 that the whole country needs to be torn down because it's rotten to the core.

00:32:31.020 And really, those are the two worldviews that are represented here.

00:32:35.820 And you see it with the hope and optimism of the Trump administration saying, look,

00:32:43.080 this is the greatest country the world has ever seen, and we're going to make reforms as

00:32:47.780 we see it, where we need to weed this out or weed that out or make reforms.

00:32:53.580 But we're not going to just toss out the entirety of our great country, which has led the world

00:32:59.300 in freedom and opportunity for all people.

00:33:02.460 Well, I will tell you, I hope that the president starts to encourage companies to do the same

00:33:07.980 because there's a lot of companies that are engaging these same people that have been

00:33:12.260 engaged by the federal government to teach this nonsense that America is inherently evil 0.97

00:33:18.700 and that whites are inherently racist and cannot be forgiven by it have to be. 0.92

00:33:27.300 The only way you can have an end to racism is with reverse racism, if you will. 0.97

00:33:34.100 It's craziness and very dangerous.

00:33:36.260 Can I ask you one unrelated question?

00:33:39.220 There was a story that came out today that talked about how people are now starting to

00:33:43.960 see, they're starting to fatigue on this whole coronavirus, and they're starting to see this

00:33:49.720 more as a crisis of budget.

00:33:51.780 Is the president considering anything like, you know, special economic zones or, you know,

00:33:59.700 naming the entire country, you know, an economic zone to be able to relief the average business

00:34:08.700 person from some of this regulation that will help them get back on their feet?

00:34:14.180 Well, we feel like we have over the last several months is to treat the economic crisis in the

00:34:21.180 same way that we treat a public health crisis to the extent where any emergency authority

00:34:28.500 that agencies had on the table, we have tried to use.

00:34:32.100 By our count, we were over about 700 different regulatory or enforcement relaxing decisions that

00:34:40.820 were done on the basis of an emergency, and quite frankly, we're now trying to make many of those

00:34:45.420 permanent, and we're going through a review of that right now.

00:34:48.420 So we haven't done anything as simple to be able to say, hey, the whole country is an

00:34:55.660 opportunity zone, but piecemeal, we have tried to take that approach, and we think we have been

00:35:01.420 very successful on that front, and if people have good ideas, we definitely have an open mind

00:35:06.800 to where we can do more.

00:35:08.200 As a businessman that has people coming through my business all the time, I worry about litigation.

00:35:14.680 It's only a matter of time of litigation.

00:35:16.320 Somebody gets sick, somebody says you haven't done enough, whatever.

00:35:19.400 Is there any relief or protection from litigation that is coming?

00:35:24.140 We hope so.

00:35:25.120 We hope that that is a part of any eventual phase four deal.

00:35:31.340 The president does think we need more legislative initiatives, and so that's why he's tried to

00:35:38.700 continue to stay at the table, even if the Democrats on the Hill have been, in the magnitude

00:35:44.860 of their asks, made it such that we could not reach an agreement.

00:35:49.260 But of the things that we believe are still important is that certainty that comes from potential

00:35:56.520 lawsuits, and I think that's certainly been something that we've heard from the Hill as

00:36:01.620 being an important, at least from Republicans on the Hill.

00:36:04.580 Well, I will tell you, we really appreciate the cuts that you guys have made and the things

00:36:10.360 that you have done to roll back a lot of this craziness from the last 15 years.

00:36:15.660 I'd like to send you some golden scissors, but maybe it'd be better to have an axe as

00:36:20.580 you continue your job.

00:36:22.120 Thank you so much.

00:36:23.080 I appreciate it.

00:36:24.400 Thanks, Glenn.

00:36:25.080 Appreciate it.

00:36:25.520 Bye.

00:36:25.740 You bet.

00:36:26.060 Bye-bye.

00:36:27.360 That's Russ Vogt.

00:37:53.040 It's simplysafebeck.com.

00:37:56.320 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

00:37:58.240 We're just, uh, you can't get, how do you get, we're just talking about Tom Cruise.

00:38:08.620 I just wanted to break the, the mood here for a minute, uh, and try to talk about something

00:38:13.860 fun.

00:38:14.300 The new, um, the new trailer for the filming of Mission Impossible 7 just came out and it

00:38:23.640 shows, it shows Tom Cruise on a motorcycle, uh, riding off a giant ramp nestled in the

00:38:32.740 mountains of Norway and he drives his motorcycle off and then he parachutes from the motorcycle

00:38:40.920 and it's really him.

00:38:42.760 He does his own stunts.

00:38:43.800 And the thing is, is they, they delayed the filming of this one because he has to get into

00:38:49.460 like a, I don't remember which plane it was, but like, it's a fighter jet, like a F-18.

00:38:54.860 And he said, I want to do it.

00:38:56.800 And so I need to learn how to fly an F-18.

00:39:00.300 And so he learned how to fly an F-18 and he is flying.

00:39:04.060 How do they, how do, who ensures these movies?

00:39:08.060 This is called acting.

00:39:09.100 You don't need to learn how to use the F-18.

00:39:11.320 It's amazing.

00:39:11.780 That's the whole point.

00:39:12.940 But he's one of those guys who are like, you know, the actors are always, well, I, uh,

00:39:17.620 you know, I played the president so I can tell you what you played the president.

00:39:21.620 You weren't the president.

00:39:22.740 This guy actually, well, I did, you know, I did take a helicopter and I landed it in a

00:39:30.200 free fall spin.

00:39:32.160 I did, you know, uh, take a motorcycle off of, uh, off of a cliff on a mountainside.

00:39:37.720 Uh, I, yeah, I flown an F-18.

00:39:40.120 He's actually doing these things.

00:39:42.400 You just wonder how they get the, how they can financially pull these things off.

00:39:47.280 I mean, you could, cause you can get him to probably waive everything theoretically,

00:39:51.120 but how would you movie get insurance?

00:39:53.360 Right.

00:39:54.240 You can't, if he dies, there's no movie.

00:39:56.900 And so everybody is standing, holding the bag and have to pay for it.

00:40:01.500 And there's no movie.

00:40:02.720 This is why you film his crazy stunts last.

00:40:05.980 You get the whole rest of the movie in the can.

00:40:07.500 Well, you know, he broke his leg.

00:40:08.620 The last move.

00:40:09.180 I remember that.

00:40:09.780 Jump in from like building to building, right?

00:40:11.600 No, he was, uh, was it jump?

00:40:13.320 No, I think it was the, the thing where he, they couldn't stop the traffic.

00:40:17.120 And they couldn't get the dolly thing, right?

00:40:21.080 That stabilized his bike.

00:40:22.960 He wasn't happy with any of the shots.

00:40:24.880 So he said, just follow me.

00:40:26.720 They're like, no, no, no, no, Tom, no, no, no, no, no, no.

00:40:28.800 We don't have control of all of the traffic and everything else.

00:40:31.340 He's like, just follow me.

00:40:32.520 And so that scene of him in France, just zipping through the cars, that's him just zipping through

00:40:37.940 the cars.

00:40:38.460 And when he spun out at the end, he fell from his bike.

00:40:42.340 And I think he broke his leg.

00:40:44.120 It's incredible.

00:40:44.780 I mean, the fact that he actually does these stunts is really crazy.

00:40:48.640 It's insanity.

00:40:49.620 Crazy.

00:40:50.860 I, I, I, he lives the life of a movie star though. 0.94

00:40:53.620 Doesn't he?

00:40:54.360 He does.

00:40:54.980 I mean, he's like, he's just, I mean, you know, forget about all the weird things you've

00:41:00.200 heard about him.

00:41:00.840 And he, he chases perch snatchers down the, you know, the street.

00:41:05.600 I like him.

00:41:06.340 I've always liked Tom Cruise.

00:41:07.440 I mean, you know, you can, you can be critical of the guy, but I don't know.

00:41:10.740 So what?

00:41:11.240 He, he jumped on a couch cause he really was in love for a couple of hours.

00:41:14.940 You know, let's take a break here.

00:41:17.980 We have, we have celebrities doing much, much worse things.

00:41:20.840 Tom Cruise is a dream compared to today's celebrities.

00:41:23.120 Oh my gosh.

00:41:27.360 I don't think there's been anybody like him.

00:41:29.060 This is the Glenn Beck program.

00:42:35.360 Let me talk to you about American financing.

00:42:38.180 How many times a day would you pick up the phone and scroll through Facebook for at least 10

00:42:42.540 minutes?

00:42:43.600 How many times?

00:42:45.260 Way too many times.

00:42:46.560 And then there's all these different apps you have to do it.

00:42:49.340 I mean, all you, this is basically your entire life.

00:42:51.620 Okay.

00:42:51.800 No judgment, but, uh, it seems like you're judging.

00:42:54.800 Seems like it.

00:42:55.420 No, you just, I'm trying to prove the point.

00:42:57.280 You do have time to call American financing to refinance your loan because it takes about

00:43:01.540 10 minutes.

00:43:02.100 In fact, I've done that myself, uh, in the middle of dealing with something with, with,

00:43:05.640 uh, American finance right now.

00:43:07.200 Uh, they're fantastic.

00:43:08.300 They're on top of it all the time.

00:43:09.820 They're always easy to reach and always easy, easy to talk you through every little bit of

00:43:13.580 it.

00:43:14.100 I love these guys.

00:43:15.500 Plain and simple.

00:43:16.320 If you're a homeowner, the best thing you can do is talk about refinancing your mortgage,

00:43:21.200 doing a refi or a consolidation loan, or if you're buying a new house, they will help

00:43:28.220 you.

00:43:28.700 And interest rates now are going into the low twos, save hundreds of dollars a month, maybe

00:43:35.200 even over a thousand call American financing today.

00:43:37.840 Number on the bottom of the screen.

00:43:51.200 I put out a clarion call to those who still can find the lion in them, the lion that protects

00:44:18.620 freedom for those who wish to bleat like sheep, go ahead, bleat someplace else.

00:44:28.440 We don't need violence.

00:44:30.760 We don't need anger.

00:44:32.640 We have to be together peacefully with righteous indignation and with a firm reliance on divine

00:44:40.440 providence and walk into our institutions, our churches, our schools, our government offices

00:44:48.340 and demand that they understand with an exception of our churches, they work for us.

00:44:56.620 We don't work for them.

00:44:58.520 They work for us.

00:44:59.880 Tonight, a very, very important and disturbing episode of my Wednesday night special on Glenn

00:45:09.860 TV.

00:45:10.820 It will be at 9 p.m.

00:45:12.920 Eastern.

00:45:13.960 You'll be able to watch it or on demand after that.

00:45:17.820 But your children are about to be lost.

00:45:22.280 And if we can't stand up for our children together, then we truly deserve to be lost.

00:45:31.220 We'll give you some new information on a document dump and give you a preview of tonight's broadcast

00:45:38.580 in 60 seconds.

00:45:43.260 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

00:45:46.300 So we all know that identity theft common problem in the modern world.

00:45:52.560 We also know it's becoming a lot worse in the Internet age and cyber criminals roam the

00:45:57.300 information super highway just looking for ways to get into your computer or other devices

00:46:02.420 to steal your information and try to make money off.

00:46:05.320 Well, there's a host of different schemes and, you know, different ideas and different ways

00:46:11.860 they can steal just about everything you have.

00:46:14.420 The question is, what are you doing about it?

00:46:17.120 There are so many things to worry about.

00:46:19.160 The last thing I want to worry about is someone stealing my identity.

00:46:23.640 Just get it off your plate.

00:46:25.740 Now, nobody can prevent all identity theft or monitor all transactions at all businesses.

00:46:29.700 But if you're just looking at your credit card, that's not enough.

00:46:34.720 If your information is it for sale on the dark web, is your children's information for sale

00:46:40.220 on the dark web?

00:46:41.080 Right now, you can get your free dark web scan at lifelock.com slash scan.

00:46:47.480 They'll scan your information just to make sure that your stuff is not available on the

00:46:54.060 dark web.

00:46:54.600 And if it is, they are going to be able to be there to help you get rid of all of that

00:47:00.780 information and to clean it all up and stop the bad guys in their tracks.

00:47:05.580 You can pick the plan that's right for you and save up to 25% on your first year with

00:47:10.940 the promo code back at lifelock.com.

00:47:15.980 Just do the basics.

00:47:17.000 It's like scanning for cancer.

00:47:18.720 Is your information on the dark web?

00:47:21.600 Go to lifelock.com slash scan.

00:47:24.120 And you'll get 25% off with the promo code back after your free scan.

00:47:29.400 If you want to step up and find the right plan for you and your family at lifelock.com slash

00:47:36.340 scan.

00:47:36.920 So a couple of weeks ago on our Wednesday night special, we did brainwashed and we showed

00:47:52.380 you how BLM had infiltrated our schools unlike anything I've ever seen before.

00:47:59.020 We showed you yesterday that there's already books about you that you're supposed to read

00:48:03.260 to your child.

00:48:04.940 What was it? 0.61

00:48:05.440 Baby racist.

00:48:06.920 Some anti-racist baby. 0.74

00:48:08.420 Yeah.

00:48:08.600 Anti-racist baby. 0.85

00:48:09.800 And if you're a white, if you have a white baby, you need to teach it right away that 1.00

00:48:13.620 they're racist and that they need to feel sorry about that.

00:48:17.160 Teaching your, your babies. 0.68

00:48:20.360 Well, it is an attack that goes now from cradle to grave and it is very well financed and very

00:48:28.180 well coordinated.

00:48:29.520 And we found out yesterday due to the great reporting from Christopher Rufo.

00:48:35.180 He's a contributing editor of city journal director of center on wealth and poverty.

00:48:39.920 He did a document dump yesterday that shows the department of education actually funded

00:48:46.460 an organization that is, that has hosted a training for teachers on critical race theory

00:48:53.660 and that there were people from the department of education at this.

00:48:58.240 Christopher is on the phone with us now.

00:49:01.680 Hey, Chris, how are you?

00:49:03.940 Very well.

00:49:04.500 How are you?

00:49:05.100 Very good.

00:49:05.720 I'm better than you.

00:49:06.400 I live in Texas.

00:49:07.080 You live in Seattle.

00:49:07.820 So, um, so, um, tell us exactly what you found and what does it mean?

00:49:17.600 Yeah, well, this is a series of, of leaked documents from all over the federal government

00:49:22.640 and, uh, a whistleblower sent me a slide presentation with minutes of a recent presentation by a woman 0.90

00:49:30.320 named Dr. Bettina Betts, uh, who out and out called for the overthrow of every institution 1.00

00:49:36.180 of the United States. 0.86

00:49:37.200 Uh, she said, America is a fundamentally white supremacist country that is oppressing people 0.98

00:49:42.100 of color for 400 years.

00:49:43.840 Uh, and we need to immediately abolish prisons, abolish the school system and reinvent it, uh,

00:49:50.440 abolish every institution that creates the condition for oppression and, you know, quote,

00:49:56.080 unquote, start over.

00:49:57.580 And it's just, uh, shocking.

00:49:59.900 It has nothing to do with helping children.

00:50:01.880 Uh, it is essentially calling for the, the abolition of the United States itself.

00:50:07.040 And it's shocking because the organization that held this conference, an organization

00:50:11.840 called cast has received $16 million in public funding during the Trump administration from

00:50:18.740 the department of education and other federal departments.

00:50:21.100 And it's another instance of radical revolutionaries, uh, that's kind of how their rhetoric is to,

00:50:29.420 uh, overthrow the country of being funded by the federal government and the pyramid of

00:50:34.340 bureaucracy, no matter who's in office.

00:50:36.660 I will tell you that if you didn't believe in the deep state in 2016, you know, I, I can 1.00

00:50:42.440 understand if you don't believe in the deep state now, you're a moron. 1.00

00:50:47.060 This is exactly what the deep state is. 0.99

00:50:51.240 Is there any indication that this, uh, organization came in under the Trump administration, or is

00:50:59.320 this something that the federal government has been financing for a while?

00:51:03.400 Yeah, this has been a, uh, an agency that the federal government has been financing since

00:51:07.500 at least 2004, likely much, uh, much sooner, much earlier than that.

00:51:12.020 Um, but I have the documented records from 2004 and that's, that's exactly the point Glenn

00:51:16.680 that you're making is that these organizations, uh, essentially in silence in the shadows are,

00:51:23.740 are, are sucking off the federal government.

00:51:26.040 They don't care who's in office. 0.86

00:51:27.540 They don't care what the priorities and principles of the person who's running the federal government

00:51:32.940 might be.

00:51:33.660 Um, and they know that year after year after year, they can steadily bilk taxpayers, uh,

00:51:40.880 take money that funds their pet projects, um, and they're kind of radical critical race

00:51:46.640 theory, uh, and explicitly anti-American ideologies.

00:51:50.680 So now this is, this was a study or a, uh, seminar, uh, done with the department of education

00:51:59.240 for teachers, right?

00:52:00.680 So this was how teachers should teach revolution and the tearing down of every American institution,

00:52:09.680 uh, and to, uh, overthrow the government of the United States. 0.70

00:52:16.000 Yeah, that's exactly right.

00:52:17.640 And, uh, the, the speaker explicitly called on white teachers and said that, uh, you know,

00:52:23.360 quote, uh, white people need to get out of their white emotionality, uh, end quote, and

00:52:28.920 then be able to, um, give up their wealth, uh, to be able to give up more than their privilege,

00:52:34.300 uh, to be able to give up their power and essentially submit to this ideology, uh, and then become

00:52:40.560 what she calls again, a direct quotation, co-conspirators, uh, in this revolutionary activity.

00:52:46.600 And, you know, on the, on the face of it is that's absolutely absurd.

00:52:50.940 Uh, and you know, if that's your point of view and you want to express it on your private

00:52:55.380 time and your private dime, uh, I'm okay with that.

00:52:58.320 I imagine you'd be okay with that too, even if we disagree.

00:53:01.340 Um, but this is different because it's being subsidized directly by every taxpayer in America.

00:53:07.700 So if you are a hardworking, uh, plumber in Omaha, or you are an electrician or, or, or

00:53:14.300 an Uber driver, uh, in, in Houston, um, you are paying for the, the, for this kind of

00:53:21.360 rhetoric, this ideology that directly wants to abolish all opportunities that you have in

00:53:27.940 this country.

00:53:28.640 Uh, and I think that we need to shine a light on it.

00:53:30.800 And I've called on the secretary of education, Betsy DeVos to, to, to conduct an investigation

00:53:35.760 and, and hopefully cut off, cut off the spigot for at least, uh, this instance and this organization.

00:53:42.240 So I, I spoke to, uh, Betsy DeVos's, um, uh, staff last night.

00:53:47.620 They are opening an investigation in this.

00:53:50.760 They are going to be tracking this down, uh, and finding out exactly who is involved and

00:53:57.680 to where else this disease has spread.

00:54:00.240 So good job on, uh, on finding this.

00:54:04.320 And Betsy is, I don't know if you know who the DeVos family is, uh, but there is, there's,

00:54:09.580 there's no way that Betsy DeVos, uh, is going to tolerate any of this kind of stuff. 1.00

00:54:15.080 First of all, you know, you're, you've got, uh, Donald Trump and he's a, I think he's an

00:54:21.540 unbashed capitalist, uh, that doesn't want to see the destruction of the American system.

00:54:26.540 But Betsy's parents are the ones that started the American way back in the fifties.

00:54:32.720 Uh, and it was a way for the average person to make extra money, to be able to, uh, pull

00:54:38.940 themselves up and get out of their situation and maybe afford to go to college or to, uh,

00:54:45.960 to live their dreams.

00:54:47.420 The American way we know it now is Amway.

00:54:50.460 Uh, and so there's, there's no way that somebody who grew up with the parents of the American 0.77

00:54:56.920 way is, is going to let this stuff, uh, slide.

00:55:02.160 And, and Glenn, I think that's exactly a great way to summarize the dynamics of this election.

00:55:07.580 Uh, you have one political movement and party, uh, that wants to now explicitly destroy the

00:55:13.880 American way.

00:55:14.500 And you have another, and with, you know, Donald Trump and the conservative movement that wants

00:55:19.420 to preserve the American way and improve it incrementally.

00:55:22.800 And I think that that's a very clear choice for voters.

00:55:25.500 I think in some ways it's even more clear than the choice in 2016, uh, because the, the

00:55:31.160 left has radically escalated their rhetoric, uh, committed to violence in the streets.

00:55:36.140 Uh, none of their political leaders are calling that out or, or even, uh, trying to tamp

00:55:40.380 it down, uh, and then the, the president, uh, issuing the executive order last week to

00:55:45.140 abolish critical race theory, uh, in the direct federal agencies, um, he's stepping up in a

00:55:51.140 big way, taking action on these items.

00:55:53.200 And I think that we, you know, we should hope that there's a more opportunity, uh, for us

00:55:58.800 to uncover this and to make some changes.

00:56:01.400 So who, what kind of people spoke out about this?

00:56:04.840 Because this, this was for teachers, um, and that we know the teachers unions are behind

00:56:11.460 a lot of this critical race theory garbage that is going through.

00:56:16.320 Um, and, uh, and if you take on the teachers union, I mean, good luck to you.

00:56:22.900 Who's, who's, who's document dumping this stuff?

00:56:26.240 Are they teachers?

00:56:28.280 So I, I'm going to have to be careful in order to protect the identity of my source, but I'll

00:56:33.040 tell you the motivation, uh, the motive is someone who cares deeply about learning, who

00:56:38.400 cares deeply about kids, who cares deeply about improving educational outcomes.

00:56:42.600 Uh, and, uh, this person was simply appalled, uh, because, uh, this person felt like this

00:56:48.600 was a total waste of taxpayer money, uh, something that is political ideology that doesn't provide

00:56:55.020 any practical benefit for children.

00:56:56.860 And, and frankly, this person was outraged, uh, that we would be wasting money when we could

00:57:02.380 be, uh, using these resources to actually help kids.

00:57:06.120 Uh, so that's the motivation.

00:57:07.460 And I think it's, you know, might be political in nature, but I think more than anything,

00:57:11.180 uh, it's really trying to look out for the best interest of the people, the next generation.

00:57:15.840 And frankly, this person knows that if we spread, uh, this ideology through the educational

00:57:20.960 system, uh, it's going to cause tremendous harm to the next generation and tremendous harm

00:57:25.960 to the country.

00:57:26.560 Thank you so much for all of the, thanks for living in Seattle.

00:57:30.440 So we don't have to honestly, uh, I'm doing a service, Christopher Rufo, contributing editor

00:57:37.860 of the city journal, director of center on wealth and poverty, a guy who has been exposing

00:57:42.880 a lot of this.

00:57:44.640 Uh, thank you so much.

00:57:46.500 You can follow him at real Chris Rufo, R U F O real Chris Rufo, uh, on Twitter.

00:57:53.720 And, uh, and, and I urge you to do that because he's breaking news all the time.

00:57:58.540 And, uh, that's where you'll find this document dump.

00:58:01.460 And it is horrifying when you see it, Chris, thank you so much.

00:58:05.560 God bless.

00:58:09.120 So summer is still around and based on the way that 2020 has been going so far and probably

00:58:13.600 be around for another, oh, I don't know, eight or nine months.

00:58:17.100 I'd imagine one of the things that everybody likes to do to the summertime is to grill out.

00:58:21.760 Well, what if I told you you could grill out all year long and not stand in the cold?

00:58:26.600 Usually I avoid, uh, grilling in August, especially down here, cause it's just too hot.

00:58:35.140 July, August, I just not standing in front of a grill.

00:58:38.120 I will sometimes stand in the grill in the deep of winter, uh, only because it's hot, but

00:58:44.440 it's so freezing outside.

00:58:45.940 Now you can do it all year long without being too hot or too, too cold, uh, because you'll

00:58:51.480 be the proud owner of a rec tech, R E C T E Q solid stainless steel build.

00:58:57.700 It's a smart grill as smart grill technology, and it will guide your grilling experience

00:59:03.200 from start to finish.

00:59:04.160 It can sense the outside temperature shifts.

00:59:06.500 It will adjust the heat on its own to maintain the proper temperature.

00:59:10.280 It has sensors that go into whatever you're grilling, which will tell you precisely when

00:59:14.780 it's reached the proper temperature.

00:59:16.840 Best of all, while your rec tech is out there doing all the work, you can be wherever you

00:59:20.520 want controlling the whole thing from an app on your phone.

00:59:24.420 Rec tech.

00:59:25.380 It's sturdy.

00:59:26.560 It's smart.

00:59:27.900 It's yummy dinner time.

00:59:30.120 Follow rec tech on all social media and sign up for their newsletter, but check it out for

00:59:34.820 yourself.

00:59:35.400 It will be the last grill you'll ever want to buy.

00:59:37.740 Rec tech with a Q at the end, rec tech, uh, dot com.

00:59:42.820 That's R E C T E Q dot com. 1.00

00:59:46.480 10 seconds.

00:59:47.000 Station ID.

01:00:01.340 So over the past few months, we have been exposing things like the pandemic war game event

01:00:06.860 201, the truth behind the Marxist movement called Black Lives Matter and how they are working

01:00:12.820 to destroy families, the plot to destroy capitalism called the Great Reset from the World Economic

01:00:19.620 Forum.

01:00:20.540 And I will tell you, all of these things are connected.

01:00:24.180 They all have a purpose.

01:00:25.700 And that is to piece by piece, brick by brick, overwhelm the system and take down the Western

01:00:33.200 way of life and our society.

01:00:35.580 Well, the other piece is you've got to control the children.

01:00:40.920 And we have been showing you that they are teaching Marxism and critical race theory in all of our schools.

01:00:48.240 I would be shocked if even you live in the most remote place, if it is not being taught in some form or

01:00:55.580 fashion in your school.

01:00:57.040 They're targeting our children in their classroom directly.

01:01:02.500 Now, there's a new comprehensive sexuality education program that is now being rolled into your states all

01:01:09.540 across the country.

01:01:10.900 It's already been signed into law in several states in and it is the most disgusting and most explicit content

01:01:18.820 you could imagine.

01:01:20.420 What I will reveal to you tonight is so disturbing.

01:01:27.260 And if we don't stand together and stop it, we will lose our children.

01:01:34.180 They are corrupting our children and they are corrupting them also on the free market and our system of government.

01:01:43.720 This is so disturbing.

01:01:45.560 I have been told by attorneys that it's legal to show it to your kids in classroom.

01:01:51.700 It's legal to show it in a museum setting, but it probably is not legal for me to show it to you online

01:02:00.340 because then I would be I could easily be called somebody who is is farming out pedophilia material.

01:02:11.020 So I'm going to like a risk you'd want you'd want to avoid if at all possible.

01:02:18.260 So I'm going to show you tonight what I can.

01:02:21.760 We're going to blur the pictures out.

01:02:23.660 You'll get the idea.

01:02:25.880 But it is this should tell you something.

01:02:30.300 I can't show it to you online because I could violate laws, but they can teach it to your children without you knowing it.

01:02:39.380 Incredible.

01:02:39.540 It is brainwashed the radical sex agenda corrupting your kid and it's already in states. 0.99

01:02:47.960 It's probably coming to your state.

01:02:50.700 It's being voted on right now.

01:02:53.780 The teachers union loves it.

01:02:58.440 The teachers union.

01:03:00.280 If you're teach, if you're a teacher.

01:03:02.280 I believe you want what's best for children.

01:03:07.280 But if you are paying dues to the teachers union, I don't trust you.

01:03:13.300 You might have good intentions.

01:03:14.720 But if you can't see right now what the teachers union really is, it is a Marxist front organization that is trying to take our children.

01:03:25.580 And destroy the Western way of life.

01:03:29.200 And if you're paying in, I'm sorry.

01:03:33.040 You might be the sweetest person ever, but I don't trust you with my kids.

01:03:38.580 If you are trusting the teachers union.

01:03:40.960 We, you know, 20 years ago, Friday.

01:03:47.920 It was at 19, 19 years ago, Friday.

01:03:53.880 We stood together and said, what happened?

01:03:56.660 How did this happen to us?

01:03:59.460 And we realized how fragile our nation was.

01:04:03.320 Now, in the last 19 years, we've realized, man, it's a lot stronger than we thought.

01:04:08.840 But we are in the last phase.

01:04:11.300 If you read Gibbons and you read the, the, what is it?

01:04:15.760 The rise and fall of the Roman Empire.

01:04:17.620 If you read that, you'll see exactly where we are.

01:04:21.800 Exactly where we are.

01:04:23.840 We're in the fall of this empire.

01:04:29.620 But the fall of this empire means that freedom is lost all around the world.

01:04:37.600 Who's going to stand up for it?

01:04:40.300 Where are you going to run?

01:04:43.060 What's going to happen?

01:04:46.380 We're going to lose our freedom.

01:04:48.680 The world is going to lose its freedom.

01:04:50.740 And all of that, I suppose, I can live with.

01:04:58.900 But I can't live with losing my children and their freedom.

01:05:04.500 We must stand together.

01:05:06.580 I'll tell you how next.

01:05:08.140 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

01:05:13.720 American Financing NMLS 182334 www.nmlsconsumeraccess.org

01:05:20.000 Stu, you're doing something with American Financing right now.

01:05:22.880 Yes, that's true.

01:05:24.000 Because it's a great time to refinance.

01:05:26.180 It's a great time if you're looking at real estate to buy because of these rates.

01:05:31.300 I mean, they're just insanely low.

01:05:33.300 Insane.

01:05:33.580 And American Financing can actually get you to work with the best people.

01:05:38.500 And they actually understand every little bit of this process.

01:05:40.740 They can walk you through every little bit of this process as they have with me and other people who work here.

01:05:46.780 We can testify with firsthand knowledge that they do it better than anybody else I've ever dealt with.

01:05:53.840 We have several people who have refined with American Financing here in the building.

01:05:58.800 I can tell you that my mortgage went from over 4%, almost like 5%, into the threes.

01:06:10.760 And it was shocking how much money.

01:06:13.100 Oh, so much money.

01:06:13.360 Yeah.

01:06:13.900 Now, in some cases, you can get your mortgage down into the twos.

01:06:18.160 Refinance right now.

01:06:20.000 Get that debt out of your life.

01:06:22.060 American Financing, 800-906-2440, AmericanFinancing.net.

01:06:27.140 A new student as America into the brand new special Glenn's been talking about all day.

01:06:31.020 Make sure you go to blazetv.com slash Glenn.

01:06:33.000 Use the promo code Glenn and save 10 bucks.

01:06:47.260 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

01:06:49.800 The theme of today's show has been, we have all been worried about the loss of our country, but I worry more now about the loss of our children.

01:07:03.160 It is a very real threat.

01:07:06.260 Big tech has them controlling the up next on YouTube.

01:07:10.780 Your kids are watching YouTube.

01:07:11.700 This is a brainwashing algorithm, and we've known it and shown it to you on other specials.

01:07:21.220 They are controlling the way your kids think by exposing them to things that they believe is best for social change.

01:07:31.660 They control them with gaming, online social media.

01:07:35.880 They don't know what the truth is.

01:07:37.420 And we are acting like sheep.

01:07:45.240 I don't know what it's going to take for people to stand up.

01:07:50.720 I know you're afraid of losing your job.

01:07:53.100 I'm afraid of losing mine.

01:07:55.400 I'm afraid of losing not just my job, but my entire career and my voice.

01:08:00.560 That if this election goes another way, many of us, some of the biggest names in radio and television that you depend on, we have all had conversations where we all are saying, this could be it.

01:08:17.660 So I'm with you.

01:08:18.900 I know that.

01:08:19.660 But we won't stand up for the Constitution.

01:08:25.020 We won't stand up for the rule of law.

01:08:27.120 We won't stand up against the cancel culture. 0.85

01:08:30.340 We're not standing up against the Marxist in our streets.

01:08:34.160 We're not standing up for our police officers.

01:08:38.000 What will we stand up for?

01:08:40.480 Because now our children are at stake.

01:08:43.120 And I am more frightened by the loss of my children to darkness.

01:08:48.840 I'm not talking about, oh, my kids, they're going to think differently.

01:08:52.420 They're going to vote differently.

01:08:53.380 That's a picnic.

01:08:56.240 We're about to lose our children to darkness, to hatred, to chaos, to the lies of BLM, the Marxist and the revolutionaries.

01:09:09.340 Your kids will turn on you just as they did in Germany and in Russia.

01:09:13.120 Because that's how it works.

01:09:18.600 And they are training them to be Marxists and citizens of a state, not of a family.

01:09:25.640 We showed that to you a couple of weeks ago on our special.

01:09:29.860 And tonight, part two, they are taking the morals of our children and destroying them.

01:09:38.460 For the first time in history, at least in modern history, pornography and pornography beyond what anybody has ever thought of as pornography ever in the history of the world.

01:09:54.160 The first time in the world is everywhere and it's being endorsed.

01:09:58.420 But when you see what's happening in our schools tonight with this new sex education that is being has already been approved in a couple of states and is probably going to be voted on in your state.

01:10:13.360 It may already be in your state.

01:10:16.780 Perhaps that will be the wake up call.

01:10:18.640 But we all have to stand together.

01:10:21.220 Us going in to talk to our schools. 1.00

01:10:23.420 They're going to treat us like morons. 1.00

01:10:26.240 They're going to treat us and talk down to us. 1.00

01:10:29.860 We did this before with with what was that?

01:10:34.800 What was that?

01:10:37.260 That thing that the schools were doing with the Bill Gates member of Common Core?

01:10:42.800 Yeah, Common Core.

01:10:43.520 We did it before with Common Core.

01:10:46.000 We didn't stop it.

01:10:46.980 A lot of it has just been mutated, but we at least slowed it down.

01:10:53.100 We've got to demand real change and tell these teachers and these teacher unions and our local schools.

01:10:59.720 They work for us, not the way around. 0.99

01:11:02.320 Don't treat me like I'm an idiot when I walk in and ask you questions. 0.99

01:11:06.860 Provide the answers. 0.99

01:11:08.660 But if we do it alone, we'll lose.

01:11:13.240 I want to I want to bring on somebody who I just think is remarkable.

01:11:17.720 Her name is Rebecca Friedrichs.

01:11:20.160 She's the author of Standing Up to Goliath.

01:11:22.600 She's the founder and president of kids for kids and country dot com for kids and country dot com or dot org.

01:11:30.160 And she was a teacher.

01:11:31.800 She saw what was happening.

01:11:33.440 She stood up and she realized she might be able to do more good outside of the system.

01:11:39.220 Rebecca, how are you?

01:11:41.040 I'm doing great.

01:11:42.140 Great to be here. 0.98

01:11:43.320 So, Rebecca, after the special that we had last, what, two weeks ago, I got a ton of email from people who said I went in and they treated me like a moron. 0.96

01:11:54.900 They pretty much laughed at me. 0.93

01:11:56.720 They wouldn't give me any information.

01:11:59.400 I am convinced that unless we stand together, we're not going to make an impact.

01:12:05.780 You are exactly right.

01:12:09.040 We have experienced the same thing, even I'm in California.

01:12:12.760 So even when we go to the statehouse, we've come together, hundreds of us at the Senate Education Committee. 1.00

01:12:18.700 And they treat us like morons. 0.99

01:12:20.340 They talk down to us. 0.99

01:12:22.940 They will not pass any bills that we bring forward saying, look, we just want some transparency.

01:12:31.100 We just want you to let us know what's going on before you do this to our kids.

01:12:34.800 And they shut us down every single time.

01:12:37.100 We absolutely have to stand together.

01:12:40.460 Teachers can't fight it alone.

01:12:42.220 Parents can't fight it alone.

01:12:43.480 And we need our churches to step up, too.

01:12:46.120 We need faith leaders with us.

01:12:48.060 And we need to help people to realize how important it is to vote and to vote their values, not to vote because they want free stuff.

01:12:57.420 Because if we can start getting good, godly people into office at every level, starting down at school board, all the way up into the national level, then we can end this nightmare.

01:13:09.620 So the teachers union taking on the teachers union, I mean, you you took them on all the way to the Supreme Court, the California Teachers Union and the National Education Association.

01:13:22.300 Yeah.

01:13:22.800 And tell me what happened, because you didn't win.

01:13:25.740 You were it was looking like you were going to win.

01:13:28.540 And then Scalia died.

01:13:30.900 That's right.

01:13:31.720 Our case was heard in January 2016.

01:13:33.920 We were arguing for freedom from forced unionism for every single government employee in the United States of America.

01:13:41.900 We didn't think it was right that we were forced to fund a union that stood against our values, that claimed to represent us but did not.

01:13:50.080 We didn't even want to be members.

01:13:51.480 We didn't want their representation.

01:13:53.200 But we were forced to pay.

01:13:54.380 For example, my husband was a professor at San Diego State, and he was forced to pay twelve hundred dollars a year in fees as a non-member of the union.

01:14:05.760 And then they would file grievances against him when he was a director.

01:14:09.320 So we didn't have a voice at all.

01:14:11.660 So we wanted to end that.

01:14:13.240 We took it to the U.S. Supreme Court.

01:14:15.260 Case was heard January 2016.

01:14:17.120 We were poised to win with a five to four decision because, sadly, there are four justices on that court who do the bidding of the unions.

01:14:26.880 And anyway, one month after our case was heard, Justice Scalia died.

01:14:32.180 And there's a rule in the court that the justices have to be present when the decision comes down.

01:14:38.100 So we lost his vote.

01:14:39.500 We had a four to four tie.

01:14:40.740 But the good news is another case was built upon our case, and it was heard in 2018.

01:14:46.840 And June 27th, 2018, every government employee in the United States of America was freed from forced unionism.

01:14:55.120 So they all might still be stuck in a union, but they no longer have to pay them.

01:15:00.920 Okay.

01:15:01.140 So here is the thing, because I've been saying the last few days, because everybody looks at their teacher and they're like,

01:15:07.520 my teacher is good and they love my kid and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

01:15:12.440 However, you might feel really good about a teacher.

01:15:16.740 But if they are if they are in the teachers union or they they sing the praises of the NEA, 0.98

01:15:27.420 I don't trust them with my child because they must be part of it or they're so ignorant. 0.81

01:15:35.800 I don't want them teaching my child. 0.76

01:15:38.380 Is that fair?

01:15:40.080 I think it's fair.

01:15:41.940 But I think the listeners need to know one more thing.

01:15:44.660 There's three issues with teachers.

01:15:46.920 And first of all, they're all trapped in a corrupt system.

01:15:49.500 So it doesn't matter how sweet or wonderful or incredible your particular teacher is.

01:15:56.080 If that teacher is in a unionized school or school district, that teacher is trapped in a corrupt system.

01:16:02.000 So the three things people need to know about teachers is, number one, they either have no idea that the union is the bad guy.

01:16:11.760 They don't they know things are corrupt, but the union keeps telling them, we're your savior.

01:16:16.600 We're here to take care of you.

01:16:18.240 It's the legislators.

01:16:19.900 It's the school board.

01:16:21.420 It's the this.

01:16:22.020 But these teachers have no idea that it's the union that put those legislators in office and those people on the school board.

01:16:27.720 So these teachers truly are ignorant to what their union is doing.

01:16:31.060 That's a problem.

01:16:32.080 Second thing, a lot of them know, but they're too terrified to stand up to their union.

01:16:37.540 Like you, your whole entry to this interview, you were talking about how people are too afraid to stand up, afraid of losing their jobs and their career, afraid of all that.

01:16:44.960 That's exactly how teachers are.

01:16:46.660 And they've been that way for about 50 years.

01:16:48.840 And so then the last thing is we do have teachers who agree with the unions.

01:16:53.620 Those are the scary ones.

01:16:54.960 Those are the activists that the unions have been planting in our schools.

01:16:58.500 So I agree with you, Glenn.

01:17:01.200 Teachers have got to stand up, but parents have to stand up with them.

01:17:06.300 Teachers can't do it alone, stand together.

01:17:08.800 And those teachers that don't know what's going on, we have something on our website called Adopt a Teacher.

01:17:15.020 Takes three minutes to read it.

01:17:16.480 Adopt every teacher you know and educate them on the truth and then stand with them.

01:17:22.520 And we can end this.

01:17:24.160 So I'm looking at your website now, which is forkidsandcountry.org.

01:17:30.480 And you adopt a teacher.

01:17:33.560 And it has videos there.

01:17:37.920 But it talks about embracing, educate, enlighten, empathize, encourage, and empower.

01:17:43.520 So this is not going in hostile.

01:17:46.520 This is going in saying, hey, look, I just, you know, can we go have a cup of coffee and let me pay for it because I just want to honor great teachers.

01:17:57.920 Precisely.

01:17:58.780 And then I wrote an entire book called Standing Up to Goliath.

01:18:01.860 And I wrote that book with teachers in mind and parents, by the way, because parents don't realize that the teachers unions have corrupted the PTA and everything going on in our schools.

01:18:11.640 So parents are actually paying into this sex ed and all these evils as well and don't know it.

01:18:17.060 So, yes, I ask people to lovingly adopt teachers they know, teachers in their church, teachers in their neighborhood, their family, their child's teacher, and to approach them with grace.

01:18:29.580 Not to approach them attacking because maybe the teacher doesn't have any idea.

01:18:34.700 Educate them.

01:18:35.880 Most people don't have any idea all the lies teachers have been told.

01:18:40.020 So they try to talk to teachers and the teachers say, but this, but that, but what about, what about?

01:18:44.320 And people don't know what to say.

01:18:46.380 That's why I wrote a whole book.

01:18:47.780 All they have to do is hand it to them, you know, walk them through it, read a couple chapters, and they'll take you to coffee and let's talk about it.

01:18:54.540 And just help them warm up to the idea that they've been duped, that they've been deceived, that they're funding evil, so that these teachers will stand up and get out of the union.

01:19:06.860 Rebecca, thank you so much.

01:19:08.340 I appreciate all of your hard work.

01:19:10.160 I urge you to join the effort and just go to forkidsandcountry.org and look at the information that is there.

01:19:22.680 I still recommend, Rebecca, that you organize and you help people come together in their own towns because everybody feels alone and they don't know who's involved.

01:19:37.260 And if there's a way to hook up with each other, you need to.

01:19:42.400 You need to hook up with each other because we won't be able to do this by ourselves. 0.95

01:19:46.420 Thank you, Rebecca.

01:19:47.280 I appreciate it.

01:19:48.600 forkidsandcountry.org.

01:19:51.940 By the way, don't forget, this is last call for your kids.

01:19:58.780 Last call for your kids.

01:20:00.540 Part two of the special Brainwashed on the Blaze TV tonight.

01:20:04.300 Warning, warning, warning.

01:20:07.960 Parental guidance is suggested.

01:20:09.720 Although the teachers union don't think that you need to be there on what they're teaching, it is so disturbing.

01:20:16.140 I wouldn't recommend that you watch this with your kids.

01:20:19.620 But you need to see it.

01:20:21.120 And it's available at blazetv.com slash Glenn.

01:20:29.360 Which is it?

01:20:30.160 I don't know.

01:20:31.400 It's usually Glenn.

01:20:32.080 Use the promo code Glenn you'll save on your year subscription at blazetv.com slash Glenn.

01:20:40.160 Okay.

01:20:41.780 Before we continue, let me just talk a little bit here about real estate agents I trust.

01:20:46.900 In almost all cases, the secret to success in buying or selling a home is having the right real estate agent.

01:20:52.880 It's not just somebody who knows how to find a good home that's in your budget, you know, or to get your home out there at the best possible price.

01:21:03.440 Those are important.

01:21:04.800 But connections is really what makes the real estate agent different than all the rest.

01:21:11.940 They're the ones when you're first putting your house up, they come in and they say, okay, I got to do a few things.

01:21:18.200 Hey, here's some people that you can call and tell them I sent you and they'll help you get your house into shape or they can help you with this or that.

01:21:25.940 Also, the connections on the other side.

01:21:27.680 The connections, they have a good marketing system that has brought in a lot of people who are already looking for a house like yours.

01:21:36.560 These agents that we work with at realestateagentsitrust.com take their jobs seriously.

01:21:43.080 They know the best practices to elevate your real estate experience to the next level.

01:21:49.120 Realestateagentsitrust.com.

01:21:49.680 It's a matching agency, if you will, and it's a free service to you.

01:21:55.540 I want you to interview these people.

01:21:57.220 You just tell us if you're buying or selling and where you are, and we will send you the best real estate agent, in our opinion, in your area.

01:22:05.420 You interview them.

01:22:06.760 Again, don't take my word for it.

01:22:08.560 Contact them today and find out for yourself.

01:22:10.660 It's realestateagentsitrust.com.

01:22:13.320 That's realestateagentsitrust.com.

01:22:16.060 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

01:22:19.680 You know, for 19 years, we have talked about 9-11 in this week, and we've talked to people who were there.

01:22:27.560 For the very first time, there is a book out, a memoir, from one of the children of 9-11, somebody that lost their dad on 9-11.

01:22:39.880 He was nine at the time.

01:22:43.160 His story is absolutely riveting.

01:22:49.680 He talks about what it was like that day as a 9-year-old, calling his dad's phone with his brothers over and over again, saying,

01:23:01.480 Dad, please come home.

01:23:02.860 Please call us back.

01:23:04.080 The things that we have never thought of and heard, and now how it's shaped his life.

01:23:13.040 It's an incredible story.

01:23:16.580 And that 9-year-old kid is now a man.

01:23:19.760 His name is Matthew Bocce, and he has quite the tale to tell.

01:23:24.980 It's in the book, Sway, that's coming out now, but we have him to tell the story next.

01:23:31.860 Stand by.

01:23:35.440 American Home Shield.

01:23:36.820 If you're looking to protect your budget and home, should something go wrong?

01:23:40.960 Sure.

01:23:41.620 I've got homeowner's insurance, so I'm covered.

01:23:44.260 Mmm.

01:23:44.700 How about like having an old HVAC unit, kitchen appliances and plumbing?

01:23:50.540 A home warranty plan from American Home Shield can help cover the cost to repair or replace these items should they break down.

01:23:58.160 This is the nation's largest provider.

01:24:00.160 They've paid more in home warranty claims than any other country.

01:24:03.100 It's added up to more than $2 billion just in the last five years.

01:24:07.220 So you have a problem with your HVAC, and it goes down, and you have to replace it.

01:24:12.500 They cover it.

01:24:14.380 It is really unbelievable, this system.

01:24:19.060 I don't know why I haven't had this my whole life.

01:24:21.560 Their plans help protect components of up to 21 essential home systems and appliances from damage caused by everyday wear and tear,

01:24:29.260 even a number of electronics like tablets and flat screens and TVs.

01:24:33.100 No inspections are needed.

01:25:11.020 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

01:25:14.800 This week is the 19th anniversary of September 11th.

01:25:23.540 Oh, how quickly we have forgotten and how quickly the years have flown by.

01:25:28.500 Every year since 9-11, we have talked to somebody who experienced it, who was there at the Pentagon,

01:25:36.400 who was trapped in the stairs, who were firefighters or police officers.

01:25:42.740 But this is the first time that I've ever been able to talk to a child, someone who was 9 years old and their dad was trapped on the 105th floor.

01:25:56.180 He has written a new book called Sway.

01:26:00.640 And I have to tell you, there are very few stories that are this compelling.

01:26:07.260 Things you didn't even think of and what this 9-year-old went through and the light on the other side is remarkable.

01:26:16.080 His name is Matthew Bocci, and we talk to him in 60 seconds.

01:26:23.100 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

01:26:27.960 All right, so we have to be in the business of hope, because if not, we default to the business of despair.

01:26:33.220 And there's been a lot to despair about over the last several months.

01:26:36.900 But hope springs eternal, if you know what's true.

01:26:40.760 As the economy begins to recover from this pandemic, more and more businesses will start to get back on their feet,

01:26:46.280 and they're going to need to hire more people.

01:26:48.140 And that's where ZipRecruiter steps in. 1.00

01:27:55.600 19 years ago this week, we watched in horror.

01:28:00.160 And we watched that footage over and over and over again.

01:28:05.800 But there was a nine-year-old boy who was in school,

01:28:09.540 and his father worked for Cantor Fitzgerald in the North Tower of the World Trade Center.

01:28:14.980 His dad was at work, and he was at school.

01:28:23.080 We welcome that nine-year-old.

01:28:25.480 Now I think you're, what, 28?

01:28:29.360 Matthew.

01:28:30.300 How are you, Matthew?

01:28:31.980 Matthew Bocci.

01:28:32.920 I'm doing well.

01:28:33.420 Thanks, Glenn.

01:28:33.840 So, first of all, I, you know, you've heard it forever, but I'm sorry for your loss,

01:28:40.400 and especially after reading your story.

01:28:42.420 My gosh, what you've gone through is remarkable,

01:28:46.600 and you need to tell this story as often as you can because it provides a lot of hope.

01:28:53.260 So, 9-11, you're nine, you are in school,

01:28:57.940 and somebody from the school district walks into your classroom, right?

01:29:06.880 Are you there?

01:29:08.900 Yeah, I don't know if his board is cut out, but...

01:29:12.040 Okay, so I just wanted you to start with this.

01:29:14.560 Somebody from the school district walks into your classroom.

01:29:18.300 You don't know anything about it, but it's about 9 o'clock in the morning.

01:29:22.180 And what happens?

01:29:24.380 Yeah, so they pulled me out of my classroom,

01:29:26.780 and I was met by my brother in the hallway,

01:29:29.620 and we were informed that a plane hit my dad's building,

01:29:32.780 that my dad was safe, and that they were evacuating the tower.

01:29:36.200 As a 9-year-old kid, I kind of subconsciously thought something was odd

01:29:40.320 in the sense that they didn't allow us to really ask questions about what was going on.

01:29:45.220 I still didn't think too much of it, though,

01:29:47.120 and I tried to just go about the rest of the day as normally as possible.

01:29:51.320 And what perplexed me the most was the fact that so many kids were getting pulled out of my school,

01:29:58.340 and yet we were still in school, Nick and I, my brother.

01:30:02.200 My mom kept us in school because she had spoken to my father

01:30:05.440 and then started calling family who was coming over to the house to try to help her,

01:30:11.080 because I also had two young brothers at the time.

01:30:13.020 And there was just so much chaos and so much commotion at the house

01:30:17.460 that she wanted us to just stay in school for as long as possible.

01:30:20.220 And so you were in school, and you weren't watching it,

01:30:23.140 but the rest of the students, they were watching what was happening, right?

01:30:27.700 They weren't.

01:30:28.640 No, they weren't watching it.

01:30:30.760 They were informed.

01:30:32.700 They pulled us out of the classroom and then told the rest of the students what exactly happened.

01:30:36.660 So still then, I don't think that the students, maybe my classmates knew, maybe they didn't know,

01:30:42.820 but I actually don't really know what they said to them.

01:30:45.560 Okay.

01:30:46.860 So they kept us in another classroom for a little while while they were informing the students

01:30:51.900 on all the details that they had, I guess.

01:30:53.860 And ultimately, like I said, we were like the only kids left in school, and they were all plucked out.

01:31:03.280 And at the end of the day, when we got on the bus, we were the only two kids on the bus.

01:31:07.200 And I remember getting back home and just being immediately with all the chaos that I had already described before.

01:31:15.620 And it got worse once I got inside, and the TV was on and the footage was on,

01:31:22.540 and people were upset and calling my dad and calling hotlines.

01:31:26.920 And there was a can of a show missing hotline, too.

01:31:30.100 They were calling, and hospitals, et cetera.

01:31:33.060 It was one thing after another.

01:31:35.320 And ultimately, my grandmother kind of ushered my brother and I out of the house to go play with our friends

01:31:40.700 because she didn't want us to continue to witness the commotion at the house.

01:31:45.740 Now, your dad, two weeks before 9-11, woke up in the middle of the night screaming.

01:31:51.960 He had a dream.

01:31:53.820 Tell me about that.

01:31:55.780 Well, he insisted it wasn't a dream.

01:31:57.520 He insisted it was a ghost, and that his late aunt, who had died of ALS probably 20 years prior,

01:32:04.600 was standing at the foot of his bed in perfect health condition and holding his late sister, who died as an infant.

01:32:12.620 And for him, that moment was life-changing, except, unfortunately,

01:32:17.940 he didn't act upon the feelings that he was, I guess, instinctively feeling inside.

01:32:23.380 He didn't follow through, I guess, too.

01:32:26.380 You know, he wanted to quit.

01:32:27.980 He then expressed that he was not happy.

01:32:30.780 He was telling my mom he thought he was going to die young, that he wanted to be cremated.

01:32:35.500 And this was all leading up to 9-11.

01:32:37.560 And my mom just basically being like, you're 38 years old, you're healthy, you're in, like, the best shape of your life,

01:32:43.580 and you're talking about wanting to be cremated.

01:32:46.520 Like, it just, it was incomprehensible for her.

01:32:49.600 And so that morning when he called my mom, he called from his cell phone.

01:32:55.300 His desk phone was out.

01:32:56.920 The line was out.

01:32:57.640 And he got through on his cell phone, which surprised my mom because she thought that he was going to quit.

01:33:04.460 That weekend before, he said he was going to quit.

01:33:06.960 Wow.

01:33:07.740 And so, and essentially what happened was he only would call her when he was leaving,

01:33:14.800 when he was out of the building or out of the office from his cell phone.

01:33:18.480 All the other times, he would call from his desk phone.

01:33:21.140 So, for her to receive the cell phone call, for her, she thought he actually walked out.

01:33:28.160 And my father was a joker.

01:33:30.640 He liked to pull pranks on people.

01:33:31.960 And so, when he told her a plane hit the building, she was blown away.

01:33:35.980 Excuse me.

01:33:36.580 Initially, she was thinking he was joking.

01:33:38.880 And then he told her to turn the TV on.

01:33:40.760 And then she's blown away by what she's seeing and realized that this is not a joke.

01:33:46.880 So, you, for several days, you and your brothers actually would call your dad's phone

01:33:58.300 and leave messages to your dad thinking that maybe he was still alive.

01:34:04.120 There was the slightest possibility in my mind that perhaps he lost his cell phone.

01:34:13.580 Maybe he called his cell phone.

01:34:15.860 Like, you know, so my mom actually retrieved the phone messages because she thought that

01:34:23.340 he may have called his cell phone and lost it, too.

01:34:25.500 She was holding on to that belief as well.

01:34:27.140 But for me, I was calling that phone and hoping that he'd pick up the other line.

01:34:31.480 Um, and, uh, I left voicemails on his phone until his mailbox was full and couldn't receive

01:34:37.580 any more.

01:34:38.620 And, um, just basically begging him to come home.

01:34:41.440 And obviously, he was, you know, naive, but just not really understanding it.

01:34:45.300 And, um, until they finally came and told us that they found him.

01:34:50.060 So, you write in your book that the house was full of family and friends.

01:34:55.940 And when you looked at the television, you saw people jumping, uh, from the towers and

01:35:02.380 that stuck with you.

01:35:05.260 And it actually led you kind of down a, a darker path, if you will, of, of trying to

01:35:13.360 what, figure out what they were thinking and, and trying to piece maybe what your dad was

01:35:19.080 thinking and feeling at that time.

01:35:20.620 Tell me about the, yeah, that's, go ahead.

01:35:24.960 That's, that's exactly right.

01:35:26.620 It was, um, I knew a few things regarding my dad's final moments.

01:35:32.180 I knew that he had made phone calls to my mom.

01:35:34.840 The first one that I described before, the second one was shortly thereafter.

01:35:39.160 And he said goodbye.

01:35:40.560 The last call that I know of and that my family knows of is that he spoke to his brother, um,

01:35:46.480 and said goodbye.

01:35:47.080 So, those phone calls happened within minutes of the plane hitting, which to me symbolizes

01:35:54.420 that my father knew he was going to die and that he accepted his fate and, and, and, and

01:35:59.100 faced that head on in, in a courageous manner.

01:36:01.660 And, and what was so remarkable to me looking back is the fact that he didn't sound scared

01:36:06.540 on the phone and he didn't want my mom to fear and he didn't want my uncle to fear.

01:36:10.480 And he, and he tried to portray that to them.

01:36:12.340 Um, and so that was just such a powerful thing for me.

01:36:16.840 And, and, and that courageousness was, was really impactful for me.

01:36:20.240 Um, and it really resembles my father as a man too.

01:36:24.400 Um, but the question that started to loom in my mind was the fact that the majority of

01:36:30.380 jumpers from the North tower came from Canterford Sherald.

01:36:33.220 So, I thought maybe he was one of them.

01:36:35.940 And so, I had seen a documentary that showed family members identifying their loved ones

01:36:42.060 through these photos of jumpers or people hanging out of the windows.

01:36:46.100 And I reached out to photographers myself as a 13, 14 year old kid asking them to meet

01:36:52.120 with me because they had met with widows and blown up photos for them so that they could

01:36:57.600 see, um, if that, if that, if that in fact was their loved one.

01:37:01.320 These photographers never reached back out to me.

01:37:04.120 So, I continued to do my own research and ask family close to me if they thought he jumped.

01:37:10.600 Uh, everyone told me no and eventually stopped engaging in those conversations.

01:37:15.600 And it then took one person to finally engage with me and fully take on all of that responsibility

01:37:22.660 and answer those questions.

01:37:24.640 And I was an uncle through marriage who exploited my vulnerabilities and sexually abused me and

01:37:30.000 told me my father jumped from the towers.

01:37:32.220 When in reality, that wasn't true.

01:37:33.460 This is where this story just goes, uh, in a direction you just don't see coming.

01:37:38.920 Um, let me pause for one minute, do a commercial and then come back.

01:37:42.920 Uh, we're talking to the first time I've ever talked to, uh, somebody who was a child of a parent,

01:37:50.060 uh, that was lost.

01:37:52.340 Life was lost on 9-11, uh, for the first memoir from a child of 9-11, uh, called Sway.

01:37:59.640 His name is Matthew Bocce and the book is quite incredible.

01:38:04.760 Um, we'll continue our conversation here in just a second.

01:38:08.940 First, if you don't already know this, uh, it's time to realize that, uh, some of these

01:38:12.960 institutions have been working against you and your interests for a while.

01:38:16.060 And AARP is not your friend.

01:38:19.100 More importantly, a lot of people don't know this.

01:38:21.640 It's not the only choice that you have, and it's a long way from the best as well.

01:38:27.440 May I suggest that you just check out and do your own homework and compare AMAC to AARP.

01:38:33.720 A-M-A-C. 1.00

01:38:35.560 AMAC stands for the Association of Mature American Citizens.

01:38:39.380 And it's not only a better choice than AARP, it's the best choice for you.

01:38:43.560 When you've got AMAC, you're going to get the discounts on your car insurance, hotels,

01:38:47.600 roadside assistance, dental plans, even cell phone service options that you might not otherwise

01:38:52.420 have, and many more benefits to make your life easier and save you money.

01:38:56.640 But here's the important part.

01:38:58.160 You belong to an organization that is actually fighting for your values.

01:39:01.760 If you still believe in America, you believe in the promise of the Constitution and our sacred

01:39:07.820 words in the Declaration of Independence.

01:39:09.720 And these are the people that are standing up for the Declaration of Independence and everything else.

01:39:16.400 They're standing up for your God-given freedoms.

01:39:19.700 Things like freedom of speech, the right to bear arms.

01:39:23.260 Those things must be preserved, and they are fighting for them.

01:39:27.580 Stand with AMAC as they stand with you and fight the good fight.

01:39:31.260 Become a member today.

01:39:32.240 The benefits are great, but the cause is even greater.

01:39:34.420 Join right now at amac.us slash beck.

01:39:38.680 That's amac.com slash, sorry, amac.us slash beck.

01:39:45.040 AMAC, better, better for you, better for America.

01:39:49.280 10 seconds, Station ID.

01:39:50.200 So this is the part of the book where you're 14 and you're using drugs and alcohol, right?

01:40:11.020 And what, how old were you when this uncle by marriage comes into your life and starts to...

01:40:19.300 It was, yeah.

01:40:22.460 So the period of grooming pretty much began when I was like 12 years old.

01:40:27.480 I stopped, well, I didn't really engage in the same manner that I did in the next couple

01:40:35.860 years because there was other family members who would talk to me about 9-11.

01:40:39.720 So unbeknownst to me, he was already grooming me.

01:40:44.660 Obviously, I know that now.

01:40:46.380 But the abuse happened when I was 14, and that's right around that time, exactly when I started

01:40:53.180 drinking and drugging.

01:40:54.900 And in reality, though, my story is a story of progression in terms of drugs and alcohol.

01:40:59.540 I was a recreational drinker, weekends with my friends.

01:41:02.800 And pot was, you know, later brought into the mix, like later into high school and wasn't

01:41:09.220 an addiction by any means.

01:41:12.260 But ultimately, when I got to college, I started experimenting with other drugs, painkillers

01:41:18.820 especially, and other pills.

01:41:20.180 And that's when I started to feel some true relief that I guess I had been searching for

01:41:25.220 for quite some time.

01:41:26.660 And once I felt that, I was going to chase that feeling forever, or so I thought back

01:41:32.460 then.

01:41:32.880 But it took a lot of struggle and determination to get to the point I'm at today.

01:41:37.400 So, your mom told you at some point, look for the signs from your dad.

01:41:45.900 And you had an odd spiritual moment.

01:41:51.360 Will you go into that a bit?

01:41:54.280 Absolutely, yeah.

01:41:55.200 I had been in and out of treatment centers for two years prior to getting sober, officially.

01:42:02.300 I never tried really going to meetings.

01:42:05.520 I never gave sobriety a true shot.

01:42:07.400 I tried just cutting out certain substances and just maybe drinking alcohol and other

01:42:12.040 things like that.

01:42:13.540 And it never worked for me.

01:42:15.140 Ultimately, I'd been brought back, and inevitably, I would be back to the same stuff that I was

01:42:19.980 doing in the past.

01:42:21.160 So, my dad, after he passed away, there was a sign from my father.

01:42:28.200 My mom was first pulled to look for the signs.

01:42:30.180 And that sign that happened was about two days after 9-11.

01:42:35.540 And a fly landed on her nightstand in her room.

01:42:40.000 And she took that instinctively as her sign that my dad was safe and not coming home.

01:42:44.400 And that fly ended up staying in our house for six months after 9-11.

01:42:47.620 And it would be the sign that would be constant with me throughout my life, into my adolescence

01:42:55.160 and into my late teenage and early 20s.

01:42:58.800 So, essentially, I had been facing legal trouble but didn't really care about that.

01:43:06.380 I was more so concerned with continuing to get high.

01:43:09.020 And so, what I did was, thinking that I was going to be able to manipulate my way around

01:43:14.120 a drug test, gone in with a detox mouthwash that would give me clean saliva.

01:43:20.100 I was under the impression it would be a mouth swab test.

01:43:22.780 I would later realize that it was a urine test, which I did not have fake urine.

01:43:29.040 I had left it at my house.

01:43:30.340 So, I went back home after failing, and I was given one last chance.

01:43:35.520 And so, I didn't know what to do.

01:43:38.280 I knew that I could go back in a month, use the fake urine, continue to get high, and continue

01:43:43.440 to live the life of shame and misery that I was living on a daily basis.

01:43:47.840 But, I walked outside that day.

01:43:50.460 I was home alone.

01:43:51.760 And I looked up in the sky and was just, like, mesmerized by a crystal clear blue sky day

01:43:57.780 that brought me right back to 9-11.

01:44:00.040 And, initially, I just sat there and started crying.

01:44:04.740 And I was hysterical.

01:44:06.020 And I asked my father.

01:44:07.220 I said, Dad, please give me a sign.

01:44:08.740 I need help.

01:44:09.860 And I would say, in an instant, a fly lands on the railing that I was leading against.

01:44:15.260 And it's this very particular fly.

01:44:17.620 So, it's not, you know, when I say a fly, for me and my family, we know what it is and

01:44:21.820 can point it out, you know.

01:44:23.140 But, it lands there.

01:44:24.840 And it would move around in a circle and look at me and stop.

01:44:28.420 Move around in a circle and stop.

01:44:30.160 And I filmed it on my phone.

01:44:31.920 And I was, like I said, hysterically crying.

01:44:34.760 And right after that fly flew away, I said, this is it.

01:44:38.440 This is my sign.

01:44:39.700 And I called up a detox facility.

01:44:41.200 And I said, I need a bed as soon as possible.

01:44:43.780 And I went to treatment.

01:44:45.320 And I've been sober since.

01:44:46.880 That's five years ago.

01:44:48.120 So, your uncle is now in prison, serving seven years.

01:44:55.440 He actually just got recently released.

01:44:57.620 Did he really?

01:44:58.640 Perfect.

01:44:59.560 Yeah, he did.

01:45:00.240 Perfect.

01:45:00.960 Perfect timing.

01:45:01.960 Yeah.

01:45:02.500 Well, I just thank you for sharing this.

01:45:06.320 I know that you're now looking to do speaking and to tell your story.

01:45:12.540 I think you have, I mean, if anybody in the world is complaining about their life being

01:45:18.320 hard, I'd just like to introduce you to Matthew Bocci.

01:45:22.660 And real quick, I've got about 45 seconds.

01:45:25.920 The name Sway, the name of the book, that comes from what?

01:45:29.940 It comes from a moment when my brother Nick and I went to visit my dad in the World Trade

01:45:37.180 Center on the 105th floor.

01:45:39.380 And he told us to go near the window and look down and that we could slightly feel and see

01:45:44.140 the building swaying in the wind.

01:45:45.940 And it serves as a metaphor for my life and the obstacles that I had to overcome in the

01:45:52.400 years to come.

01:45:53.700 That you'll sway, but you won't break.

01:45:57.200 Matthew, thank you so much.

01:46:00.240 God bless you.

01:46:01.060 Thank you for the book.

01:46:02.420 Really appreciate it.

01:46:03.560 The name of it again is Sway by Matthew Bocci.

01:48:17.460 And I urge you, urge you to watch it.

01:48:21.460 Your children are coming under attack.

01:48:24.420 And we're about to lose our children.

01:48:27.240 And it is all connected.

01:48:28.860 We have told you about Agenda 21, which is Agenda 2030 now.

01:48:34.980 They changed that because we exposed it.

01:48:38.440 We've told you about Event 201, which was Bill Gates and the World Economic Forum,

01:48:43.760 holding a conference last fall to talk about what would the world do if we had to brace for a pandemic from a coronavirus.

01:48:59.460 We showed you the videotape of those meetings and who was there.

01:49:04.020 And it's all leading to something else that is coming from the United Nations, from the sustainable development.

01:49:11.240 That's Agenda 2030 and the World Economic Forum.

01:49:14.320 And it's called the Great Reset.

01:49:15.960 And they are reshaping our society.

01:49:19.260 Tonight, I'm going to show you this is just this is this is the first draft of it that came from Germany.

01:49:26.060 WHO regional office standards for sexuality education in Europe.

01:49:32.340 Then they decided to dump it into Africa. 0.63

01:49:36.840 And it is it's it's horrifying.

01:49:41.660 They dumped it into Africa and said, you guys give it a whirl. 0.87

01:49:43.860 And this is the final UNESCO Agenda 2030 international technical technical education on sexuality and what they are at at four years old. 0.97

01:49:59.100 They are encouraging children to masturbate in third grade. 0.92

01:50:03.700 They are teaching mutual masturbation. 0.99

01:50:06.060 I can't show you the pictures because we run a risk of being accused of being peddlers of of child pornography. 0.92

01:50:15.980 I don't want to show it.

01:50:18.380 We're going to blur those images out because I don't think anybody wants to see it.

01:50:21.880 But we've seen it.

01:50:23.000 So you don't have to.

01:50:24.140 We will show the blurred out images.

01:50:25.540 It's like a it's it's like a pornographic comic book and the words I just parental discretion is advised strongly advised.

01:50:39.220 I will tell you, I wouldn't have my kids watch this.

01:50:42.780 I wouldn't have my kids in their teenage years watching this.

01:50:45.000 But you need to see it because they may already be seeing this in school and it is all part of the great reset.

01:50:55.480 If you think what's happening is disconnected, the riots on the street and all of this, it's not disconnected.

01:51:01.860 It's not.

01:51:03.060 And you can right now at least find it all on the UN website, Agenda 2030.

01:51:09.840 You can find it on the World Economic Forum.

01:51:12.140 You can find it in the Green New Deal.

01:51:14.220 It's all of it together.

01:51:16.180 You can even find it in Black Lives Matter.

01:51:19.440 They are reshaping the world closer to their heart's desire, and it's happening right now.

01:51:25.640 And you must stand up in your schools and make sure it's not in your schools.

01:51:31.240 We'll show you how to do that tonight, 9 p.m., only on Blaze TV.

01:51:36.400 John Seidel is a guy who has he's a digital media veteran.

01:51:40.840 He helped start one of the largest news websites in the country now called The Blaze.

01:51:48.660 He has worked with Chip and Joanna Gaines, Kirk Cameron, NFL Hall of Famers.

01:51:56.300 He's a podcast host, 6,000 stories on websites like I am second and foxnews.com.

01:52:04.340 He is a guy who is concerned with mental health.

01:52:09.520 He's just a good, good guy.

01:52:12.380 He lives in Texas.

01:52:14.080 Hello, John.

01:52:14.580 How are you?

01:52:15.860 I'm doing great, Glenn.

01:52:17.140 And I have to say, it's a little surreal having been with The Blaze for so long and now being on this side of things.

01:52:23.140 But I'm so honored to be here.

01:52:25.320 Well, I'm thrilled to have you on because you have such a great reputation.

01:52:29.860 Everybody loves you.

01:52:31.240 You're a really good man.

01:52:33.500 But this is kind of above and beyond.

01:52:36.280 The reason why we're having you on is because you are trying to get out to donate your kidney to somebody you've never even met.

01:52:47.180 You don't know him.

01:52:48.840 And how did all of this happen?

01:52:52.400 Yeah, it is.

01:52:53.140 You know, when you put it like that, that does make it sound kind of kind of crazy, doesn't it?

01:52:57.220 So, you know, about two years ago, my dad posted something on Facebook that said he had a friend that was in desperate need of a kidney.

01:53:09.480 And it was a woman that he had known for a while.

01:53:13.580 And they needed someone who was type O blood to sign up to get tested.

01:53:19.660 And it was kind of one of those moments where I saw the post and I didn't really think about it much.

01:53:25.540 You know, there wasn't like this big wrestling there.

01:53:28.680 And, you know, as someone of faith, I just sat there and thought, I should do this.

01:53:35.080 And so without talking to my wife, which I do not recommend doing.

01:53:39.540 I thought you were smarter than that.

01:53:41.900 I signed up.

01:53:42.240 Yeah.

01:53:42.800 Yeah.

01:53:43.420 I signed up to be tested.

01:53:45.820 And lo and behold, as we started going through the process, you know, I started making every milestone until one day it kind of all came to a halt.

01:53:53.600 When apparently there was someone else being tested in front of me.

01:53:57.460 And I was told that that person was a match and they didn't need me.

01:54:02.060 And and I thought, OK, you know, like I said, I'm a person of faith.

01:54:05.840 And and I just my prayer kept being, you know, Lord, as long as you keep opening doors, I'm going to keep walking through them.

01:54:13.160 And if you close the door, then you close the door.

01:54:15.300 And this seemed like a very closed door to me.

01:54:17.220 Right.

01:54:18.340 Until that that recipient, the woman who was going to be my recipient, called me up and said, hey, listen, I heard about just some of my circles that there's this other man who is really in desperate need of a kid.

01:54:32.660 And he lives in Mississippi.

01:54:34.520 I've never met him, but I've heard of him.

01:54:36.800 Can I pass your information along to him and you could be tested for them?

01:54:40.380 And I said, you know what, again, Lord, open doors and I'll walk through them.

01:54:46.160 And so, no, no, no, no, no.

01:54:47.780 First, you said, let me talk to my wife. 1.00

01:54:52.260 Right.

01:54:53.020 Yeah.

01:54:53.360 Right.

01:54:53.700 OK, good.

01:54:54.420 Yeah.

01:54:54.700 All right.

01:54:55.340 Exactly.

01:54:55.700 And so I started getting tested.

01:54:59.480 And, you know, what's so interesting about this?

01:55:02.160 I mean, there's a lot of fascinating parts of this, but I'm a young white man and Ken, who is my recipient, is a older black man.

01:55:10.680 And based on some stuff I've read that that sometimes crossing racial lines when it comes to donation is is harder.

01:55:18.800 But as it turns out, I ended up being a match for Ken.

01:55:23.320 And now here we are a year later.

01:55:26.380 He had some health complications where he had to get some amputations based on diabetes, which is which is kidney disease.

01:55:35.240 But here we are a year later.

01:55:37.100 I lost some weight to do this.

01:55:38.780 And and now we're staring it in the face next month.

01:55:41.680 So it is it is remarkable and a great testimony of who we really are when we allow ourselves to listen to the spirit and just do the right thing.

01:55:54.880 You are trying to raise five thousand dollars to make sure that you can get out there if there's any complications.

01:56:02.620 You know, you can stay out there.

01:56:05.680 You don't have to worry about work, the things that are not covered by insurance and you have to make the trip to New Orleans from out of state as well.

01:56:15.700 So how much how much have you how much have you raised so far?

01:56:20.720 Do you know?

01:56:21.200 So as of this morning, we were at just over twenty five hundred dollars.

01:56:26.000 So we're basically 50 percent there.

01:56:29.200 There. And, you know, we've had just some great generosity from some of our some of the former, you know, colleagues, Glenn, you and I know have stepped up.

01:56:37.400 It's been great.

01:56:39.180 And so we're 50 percent there.

01:56:41.000 We need the next 50 percent.

01:56:43.700 OK, so here's the thing I want to ask the audience to do, because all of the money over this goes to the Kidney Foundation and they can really use your help.

01:56:54.620 I have a friend right now who is, what, five days away from kidney surgery.

01:57:00.840 You have no idea how hard it is to get a kidney, what they go through.

01:57:06.760 If you are in need of a kidney, it is a horror show.

01:57:11.320 And so I would like to help.

01:57:12.920 I'll cover the additional twenty five hundred.

01:57:15.740 So I'll write a check to you today for the twenty five hundred.

01:57:18.000 But I would like people to go to GoFundMe and and continue to donate so the money can go to somebody else that is is struggling with cash to be able to do this and and to donate their kidney to somebody.

01:57:35.040 It's fantastic.

01:57:36.300 Fantastic to talk to you again, John.

01:57:38.880 Glenn, thank you so much.

01:57:40.400 You know, I know the power of your audience.

01:57:42.140 Your audience is your audience's audience is good.

01:57:45.340 People are good people and I'm just blown away.

01:57:49.260 Thank you so much.

01:57:50.340 And we can find this at KidneyUpdate.com.

01:57:54.240 Also, the GoFundMe is Let's Get Can of Kidney.

01:57:58.460 Yeah, exactly.

01:58:00.340 Exactly.

01:58:00.900 I had to name it something, you know, my days working at the blaze, you know, headlines work.

01:58:05.480 Yeah.

01:58:05.940 Yeah.

01:58:06.400 But if you go to KidneyUpdate.com, that's kind of a landing page that you can then get to the GoFundMe from there.

01:58:12.440 OK.

01:58:12.760 And if you go to GoFundMe, just.

01:58:15.340 Let's Get Can of Kidney. 1.00

01:58:19.080 John, it's good to talk to you.

01:58:21.400 And please let us know when you're going so we can pray for you.

01:58:24.980 And and when you're back, you got to come back on and tell us how it went.

01:58:29.200 Absolutely.

01:58:29.740 Thanks.

01:58:30.220 Thank you so much.

01:59:58.840 You're listening to Glenn Beck.

02:00:03.340 So I got up this morning and as I usually do,

02:00:06.960 I listen to a couple of podcasts to get the news from the other side.

02:00:10.820 I listen to the New York Times and I listen to NPR.

02:00:13.440 I want to just see if you can tell the difference between fact and fiction anymore and spin.

02:00:20.600 This is NPR on Rochester.

02:00:22.900 Listen.

02:00:23.740 In Rochester, New York last night, there were protests and also celebrations.

02:00:28.860 Yeah, that's right.

02:00:29.520 People were reacting to the announcement that the city's police chief,

02:00:32.540 Leron Singletary, will step down.

02:00:34.480 This sounds like an enormous development for Rochester that the police chief and top subordinates

02:00:40.680 would all step aside.

02:00:42.220 Yeah, this is big.

02:00:43.040 You know, Leron Singletary had insisted repeatedly he'd stay the course, refusing to step down.

02:00:47.880 He's local, a black man who grew up in Rochester.

02:00:51.220 But, you know, after this horrific video was released last week of Daniel Prude lying naked

02:00:55.240 on the pavement, a hood over his head, surrounded by officers.

02:00:58.300 These demonstrations erupted.

02:01:00.040 People on the street insisting Singletary be held accountable for Prude's death.

02:01:04.520 And the chief's departure was one of their key demands.

02:01:07.120 He did finally bow to that pressure yesterday.

02:01:09.740 Ashley Gant, one of the protest organizers, spoke last night calling this a victory.

02:01:14.060 Okay, stop.

02:01:14.500 I want you to understand that, Pete.

02:01:15.540 So, let me ask you.

02:01:17.600 What do you get from that story?

02:01:19.600 The way that was told?

02:01:21.120 You're hearing this.

02:01:22.880 Police chief, good guy, bad guy.

02:01:24.660 Seems like a bad guy.

02:01:25.780 Seems like a bad guy, right?

02:01:27.000 He's a bad guy who, I guess, inspired his officers to do some terrible thing to some innocent person.

02:01:34.020 Yeah, or at least just turned a blind eye to...

02:01:35.940 Sure.

02:01:36.180 You know what I mean?

02:01:36.980 Maybe.

02:01:37.180 I would say, yeah, had policies that encouraged it, maybe.

02:01:39.220 But this is going to be good.

02:01:40.680 I want you to listen just again to the first 30 seconds of this.

02:01:43.640 Let's play that again.

02:01:44.800 First part.

02:01:46.720 In Rochester, New York, last night, there were protests and also celebrations.

02:01:51.980 Yeah, that's right.

02:01:52.540 People were reacting to the announcement that the city's police chief, Leron Singletary, will step down.

02:01:57.640 This sounds like an enormous development for Rochester.

02:02:01.420 That the police chief and...

02:02:03.000 This is tremendous, right?

02:02:05.000 They're celebrating.

02:02:06.000 Positivity.

02:02:06.360 Positive.

02:02:06.820 This is a great thing.

02:02:08.280 Now, let me give you another spin on the tale by just telling you what Singletary said in a press release.

02:02:20.480 He is the chief.

02:02:22.000 He has held the position since April 2019.

02:02:25.500 He resigned along with the Rochester Police Department deputy chief and another deputy chief, Simmons.

02:02:32.980 What he said was,

02:02:35.960 So he didn't resign.

02:03:05.740 For because of pressure, he resigned because no one would stand up and he was being accused of things that weren't true.

02:03:16.040 And he said, enough.

02:03:19.020 That's also why the other police officers walked away.

02:03:23.700 You are seeing this now in Seattle.

02:03:28.040 She's not going to do it anymore. 1.00

02:03:29.380 You're seeing this all over the country and it's being spun as a giant win.

02:03:35.740 Let me ask you, Rochester.

02:03:37.780 You've just gotten rid of an African-American police chief.

02:03:42.800 Who are you going to replace? 0.99

02:03:44.560 Do you have a lesbian in a wheelchair? 1.00

02:03:47.820 What do you want? 1.00

02:03:48.320 You got to be a black lesbian in a wheelchair. 1.00

02:03:51.320 And two, like the guy who dies here appears to be white. 1.00

02:03:55.740 Uh, I don't think he is.

02:03:58.540 In the video, he looks white anyway.

02:04:00.640 Well, he's on PCP.

02:04:02.100 Yeah, he's naked and not PCP. 0.82

02:04:04.420 He's completely naked.

02:04:05.800 It is snowing.

02:04:07.260 And he's on PCP.

02:04:08.580 And they're cool with him.

02:04:10.020 As they walk up to him, they're like, listen, dude, dude, dude, dude, calm down, calm down.

02:04:13.880 They put a spit bag on his head.

02:04:17.580 As he won't calm down, they're trying to, the medics are there.

02:04:20.940 They're trying to get him up in a safe way.

02:04:23.300 He starts to vomit.

02:04:24.400 He chokes on his vomit.

02:04:26.100 And they're, they're blamed for it. 0.93

02:04:28.660 Including the African-American officer who's right there too.

02:04:31.060 Right, right.

02:04:32.180 I guess that's racism. 0.99

02:04:33.340 The black police chief and the black. 0.99

02:04:35.540 Good luck, Rochester. 0.97

02:04:37.020 Good luck.

02:04:38.580 Good luck.
