00:00:00.000 Hey, thanks for being here. My name is Mike Broomhead, Phoenix, Arizona in for Glenn today. Merry Christmas. Happy Hanukkah. We are thrilled that you joined us for part of your day. So much to talk about this morning, of course, impeachment. We'll talk about how great the economy is and some of the things that are moving forward. The big moves China is making that's even going to make our economy even better. And we're going to move forward. We'll talk about this FISA investigation, the IG report Horowitz, and of course, the criminal investigation that's going on as well.
00:00:28.320 So much of that happening and they all are so intertwined. It's amazing. Let's start with impeachment this morning as the Democrats rushed to impeachment. I thought that I thought Mitch McConnell said it best when they rushed through impeachment in the House of Representatives only to sit on it. Now, what are they afraid of? I don't know that they're afraid of anything. We've heard all the conspiracy theories as to why Nancy Pelosi is holding on to articles of impeachment.
00:00:53.460 But moving forward, what will the Democrats do? How will they do it if they do anything? Let's start this morning.
00:01:02.440 The majority whip James Clyburn is talking about articles of impeachment and how long they're willing to hold these from the Senate.
00:01:10.060 Now, this is a fairly long clip. I just want you to hear a quick a little bit of what Clyburn answered when talking about this holding on articles of impeachment.
00:01:18.740 The president had more House members vote to impeach him than any president in history. To an extent, the outcome was predetermined. We knew it after the president was impeached.
00:01:30.640 A bit of a surprise to many people when the House Speaker Nancy Pelosi suggested that she might wait to transmit the approved articles of impeachment to the Senate, which could possibly delay the Senate trial.
00:01:45.400 I want you to listen to what she said last night. Delay transmitting the articles of impeachment and also sending over the House managers. Listen to this.
00:01:53.900 We cannot name managers until we see what the process is on the Senate side.
00:01:59.620 And I would hope that that will be soon, as we did with our legislation, our Resolution 660, to describe what the process would be.
00:02:09.020 So far, we haven't seen anything that looks fair to us. So hopefully it will be fair.
00:02:14.980 And when we see what that is, we'll send our managers.
00:02:19.160 Why the delay, Congressman?
00:02:20.800 Well, the delay is made necessary because the majority of the Senate has made it very clear that he is not going to be impartial.
00:02:31.400 He's not going to be fair. He will collude, if you please, with the White House, at least the White House's attorneys, in order to decide how he will go forward.
00:02:44.580 So why would the Speaker of the House step into that without trying to determine exactly what the majority of the leader plans to do?
00:02:55.660 So I'll call her for this.
00:02:57.740 This is that was James Clyburn talking about how why they are doing this.
00:03:01.940 What's funny about this entire process is most of us watched and the American people watched this impeachment process.
00:03:07.840 There are a lot of things that have happened for the very first time ever, ever.
00:03:12.420 And whether it's CNN or MSNBC, when you're not going to get a well-rounded picture of what's happening, what the Democrats have done.
00:03:18.760 Never have we seen an impeachment hearing done inside the Intelligence Committee.
00:03:23.520 It's got to go through judiciary. That's the way that it's done.
00:03:26.320 That's where articles of impeachment are run.
00:03:28.960 But Adam shifted something called an informal inquiry, which meant there were no rules.
00:03:34.280 He made the rules up as he went along. He controlled those hearings.
00:03:38.360 He did them inside the basement in what's called the SCIF.
00:03:41.940 And most of you have heard this before, that word before.
00:03:44.980 But the SCIF is a soundproof room.
00:03:47.740 There are no recording devices in these rooms.
00:03:50.340 And a SCIF is generally where top secret documents are kept.
00:03:53.580 So every facility has a SCIF, and it's on a need-to-know basis what's in that room when there are documents held there.
00:04:02.500 So if you are, let's say you're with the FBI, and you're working a case, and there are documents for you in the SCIF,
00:04:08.540 you sign in, you leave your recording devices, your phone, and everything else outside,
00:04:13.340 and you're only reading the documents pertaining to your case.
00:04:16.680 A lot of people imagine that you can walk into this room if you've got the clearance and just start reading things.
00:04:21.260 That's not the way this ever works.
00:04:24.200 But Adam Schiff decided that he was going to have hearings inside that room and exclude other members of Congress.
00:04:29.820 He kept Republicans out.
00:04:31.360 I know for a fact in my home state, one of the members of Judiciary, Congresswoman Debbie Lesko,
00:04:36.920 attempted to get into the room.
00:04:38.260 They would not let her into the meetings.
00:04:40.040 Funny how there were leaks.
00:04:42.100 Now, there was no way the Republicans on that committee were leaking the information that we heard.
00:04:46.140 The information that we heard coming from those meetings came from Adam Schiff
00:04:49.440 or Adam Schiff's colleagues on the Democratic side of the aisle.
00:04:52.460 But for the very first time, there were these informal inquiry.
00:04:55.660 So that's how they were able to drag that first part of it out.
00:04:58.620 Then Nancy Pelosi said we were going to have a formal inquiry.
00:05:03.520 And so then they kept it inside the Intelligence Committee.
00:05:07.280 And Adam Schiff ran an Intelligence Committee inquiry into impeachment.
00:05:11.940 It had no teeth.
00:05:13.180 It had absolutely no reason to exist other than to prolong and try to make the president look bad.
00:05:20.180 And it was working.
00:05:21.360 If you looked at what was happening at that time,
00:05:23.400 the American people were listening to what Adam Schiff was leaking and then what was being said
00:05:28.380 and saying, this president should be impeached.
00:05:31.260 Let's move forward with impeachment proceedings.
00:05:33.620 Not necessarily throw him out of office, but there was enough meat on this bone to warrant going further.
00:05:39.940 So Adam Schiff brought witnesses in.
00:05:42.760 How many days were they in that committee of a formal inquiry before they brought in one fact witness?
00:05:48.460 As a matter of fact, the first three people they brought in, all three of those people admitted they weren't listening to that phone call.
00:05:55.820 Most of them, I think all three of them admitted they'd never even had a conversation on any level with the president of the United States.
00:06:01.720 No fact witnesses.
00:06:02.740 So abruptly, when all of this is going on, she turns it over and it goes to judiciary.
00:06:09.200 And Nancy Pelosi said of this process, we are like a jury.
00:06:13.280 We are going to look at exculpatory evidence.
00:06:15.720 We're going to come to a conclusion.
00:06:17.760 So now, knowing what you know, does anybody believe that there was exculpatory evidence that was even considered?
00:06:27.620 No Republican witness was allowed to testify.
00:06:30.380 So here's the spin from the other side.
00:06:33.640 They say, yes, there were.
00:06:35.060 There were two or three witnesses that were on the list or one witness on the list of the Republicans that testified.
00:06:41.060 That was because that witness or those witnesses were also on the Democrats witness list.
00:06:46.740 There was no witness that was solely on a Republican witness list that ever saw the light of day as far as testimony is concerned.
00:06:53.940 The president's people were not allowed to participate, and it had no teeth anyway because they do not issue articles of impeachment.
00:07:01.880 They don't draw them up.
00:07:03.080 They don't vote on them.
00:07:04.300 That's judiciary.
00:07:05.460 Now it goes to judiciary.
00:07:08.140 They had three lawyers testify.
00:07:10.560 They were all law professors and legal minds about the validity of impeachment.
00:07:14.700 Then they had four lawyers testify, Republican and Democrat from judiciary, Republican and Democrat from the Intelligence Committee.
00:07:23.140 So there are seven witnesses that we heard from.
00:07:28.160 None of them were fact witnesses.
00:07:30.040 None of them had any firsthand knowledge of this case at all whatsoever.
00:07:35.300 None of them.
00:07:36.360 After those seven people testified, Nancy Pelosi holds a press conference and said, we're moving forward with articles of impeachment.
00:07:43.600 I am not I am not a lawyer.
00:07:46.540 But there are a lot of lawyers that listen to this program.
00:07:50.160 How many of you could get into a trial and send it to the jury for judgment?
00:07:55.140 Because that's what they did in judiciary when they voted on articles of impeachment and looking at the facts entered into testimony.
00:08:03.280 If you're looking at the facts that have been testified to only, which is what you're supposed to do in a trial, how could you possibly move forward with impeachment?
00:08:10.820 There wasn't one factual thing said about anything the president did wrong.
00:08:16.680 They've moved the the the needle and the goalpost on all of this over and over again.
00:08:22.760 Quid pro quo, extortion, bribery, abuse of power.
00:08:28.720 It's always something new.
00:08:30.460 And the reason why they came to the conclusion on bribery was a focus group.
00:08:34.580 They were focus grouping different words that would resonate with voters.
00:08:39.060 Bribery worked.
00:08:40.120 That's why they switched it to bribery.
00:08:42.680 So judiciary judiciary votes on and across party lines or along party lines.
00:08:49.040 They vote to pass the articles of impeachment to the full house.
00:08:52.880 The only thing bipartisan about any of this were the no votes.
00:08:56.340 There was not one Republican that voted for it.
00:08:58.340 The standard set in 1998 by by Nancy Pelosi and by Nadler and this year and last year by both of them saying it needed to be both.
00:09:09.240 It needed to be both overwhelming evidence and it had to be bipartisan.
00:09:13.140 Listen, neither is the case.
00:09:15.020 So now that the American people see what this is all about, they're back to saying they don't think this needs to happen.
00:09:23.280 As a matter of fact, in a few moments, we'll let you hear some of that.
00:09:25.800 Some of the voters saying.
00:09:27.060 That this is going to be bad for the Democrats.
00:09:30.800 It's going to backfire.
00:09:32.720 And what are the reasons for all this in a moment?
00:09:34.780 I'm going to talk to you about what I believe are some of the main reasons why this is such an imperative for the people on the left.
00:09:41.520 We're going to get to that here in a few moments.
00:09:42.700 You'll hear from voters as well.

00:10:51.340 Hey, thanks.
00:11:01.500 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:11:02.940 I'm Mike Broomhead.
00:11:03.900 And so much here going on as we're talking about impeachment and the impeachment of a president of the United States.
00:11:09.540 This is an incredible time in our country.
00:11:12.860 Now, there is a story out this morning talking about the judicial appointments of President Trump.
00:11:19.100 Donald Trump has appointed now 25% of the circuit judges across the country.
00:11:25.740 Trump appointments now number 25% of the judiciary, which is driving, I believe, driving the left insane.
00:11:33.480 The prospect of Ruth Bader Ginsburg not staying on the court for another four years because of health reasons.
00:11:39.160 Now, I want to say this up front.
00:11:40.900 I have never nor will I ever wish anyone ill, including RBG.
00:11:45.160 We're just talking about how her health has been and can she fulfill another four years on that court.
00:11:52.660 People are saying that probably not.
00:11:54.880 Well, she is known as the liberal lioness of the court.
00:11:57.740 If Ted Kennedy was the liberal lion in the Senate while he were alive, she has been the liberal lioness and has voiced her displeasure in this president a number of times.
00:12:06.640 If she were to not able to stay on the court, it will be a Trump appointee that replaces her.
00:12:12.300 So it is imperative for the left to get rid of Trump.
00:12:15.800 And if not Trump, the consolation prize would be to flip the Senate.
00:12:20.140 So we're watching this plan unravel.
00:12:22.340 And I believe I mean, I'm not a conspiracy theorist.
00:12:24.920 I don't believe in conspiracy theories.
00:12:27.080 Often there are some things that we find out later are way too shady to not be true.
00:12:33.740 We're going to get into that in a few minutes with what happened with Carter Page and the FISA investigation, because that turned out to be a nightmare for the FBI.
00:12:43.460 But in this case, the the idea that they flip the Senate, if not replace Trump or both, is imperative because of Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
00:12:55.220 If the Democrats could control the Senate, they control the Judiciary Committee, which means they don't have to pass through any Trump nominee, not one.
00:13:04.440 So what they're doing now is setting up Trump is the bad guy.
00:13:07.120 They've got articles of impeachment that they know are really weak, as weak as it possibly gets over that phone call.
00:13:15.140 The more people hear of that phone call, the more they hear of what the charges are against the president, the more American voters are saying this is not something that we want.
00:13:26.520 This is not what impeachment was intended to do.
00:13:29.820 And we are watching the unraveling of them.
00:13:35.500 And I have to give Nancy Pelosi credit for politics.
00:13:40.660 And I mean this sincerely.
00:13:42.760 She is a phenomenal politician.
00:13:44.940 The reason why she's the Speaker of the House, she raises money like nobody's business.
00:13:48.720 She is a great fundraiser, but she also is a power broker.
00:13:52.320 Remember how she forced through Obamacare, making promises of fundraising and making promises of support and also promising bad things if her colleagues didn't get it passed.
00:14:03.760 But you look at what they are doing right now or how they've done this with articles of impeachment.
00:14:09.460 So this is what Nancy Pelosi's got going on.
00:14:12.160 And we're going to talk about more of this here in just a couple of moments.
00:14:14.400 Again, I'm Mike Broomhead on the Glenn Beck Program.
00:14:16.000 We'll see you next time.
00:14:46.000 We'll see you next time.
00:15:16.000 All right, so let's get back to this with this idea of why they are impeaching.
00:15:44.260 They really need – the importance here for them is getting rid of Trump, I believe, is judicial appointments.
00:15:50.200 I think that's a big part of it, the Supreme Court and the other judicial appointments, because it's the longest-lasting legacy of any president.
00:15:56.680 And this president has been appointing a lot of judges to the courts.
00:16:00.140 I live in the Western United States, where the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals is, the most overturned court in the land.
00:16:07.280 They have been overturned more than any other court, but it's also more than double the size of any other appellate jurisdiction in the country.
00:16:15.180 They would need to divide this into three parts for it to be the size of any other.
00:16:21.060 If you divide it in half, they're still the two largest.
00:16:23.880 So they have an overwhelming caseload, and they have been known as a liberal-leaning court.
00:16:29.480 Well, the president has appointed quite a few judges there, and it's not that way anymore in the Ninth Circuit.
00:16:36.980 So when liberals are judge-shopping, they're not able to find as friendly judges as they used to.
00:16:42.460 If you remember watching them go to court over, you know, immigration was not a big topic for today,
00:16:49.140 although ICE has come out with a video about how they were able in sting operations to get illegal aliens and fake colleges and universities.
00:16:56.140 I live in a border state, so it's something that's on the front burner for us all the time.
00:17:01.600 But if you remember, the president of the United States said he wanted to fix.
00:17:05.920 He wanted to fix what was going on with the DREAMers and DACA.
00:17:10.220 And he ordered the Congress in the next six months while he sunsetted the DREAM Act.
00:17:16.140 He wanted them to fix the immigration system in this country.
00:17:19.660 It would have protected two and a half more times DREAMers than are protected currently.
00:17:24.840 And it would have fixed a lot of our immigration problems.
00:17:27.960 It would have gotten rid of chain migration.
00:17:30.380 It would have gotten rid of the visa lotteries.
00:17:34.080 And what the Democrats did was went to court and found a friendly judge to their cause
00:17:38.940 that said that this president could not reverse an executive order from a former president with an executive order.
00:17:46.540 Unheard of.
00:17:47.900 But that's part of the issue with the judiciary, these lifetime appointments.
00:17:54.360 So when you look at what the voters are now saying about impeachment, they don't like it.
00:17:59.060 But the president of the United States is enjoying a huge spike in support from donors.
00:18:06.260 And what you hear in the media, we know from the last election cycle is not necessarily true.
00:18:11.480 When we saw exit polling and the polling in days before the election, Vegas is rarely wrong.
00:18:17.440 But all of the odds were that President Trump was going to lose this election,
00:18:21.660 that Hillary Clinton was the heir apparent and was going to be president of the United States.
00:18:25.380 None of that happened.
00:18:28.100 So now we continue to hear about this president's dismal poll numbers, still under 50%.
00:18:32.600 But when you look at the fundraising that they've done, the Republicans have seven times more money,
00:18:38.920 seven times more money on hand for the election year than the Democrats do.
00:18:43.960 The president of the United States and the Republican Party have raised millions of dollars
00:18:48.860 since impeachment were announced.
00:18:50.260 And when you look at the numbers of who's donating, first of all, it's small donations.
00:18:54.600 It's not large donations.
00:18:56.240 The left will tell you these large corporate cronies, and that is not the case.
00:19:01.300 And there is an overwhelming number of people that have donated to a political campaign for the very first time.
00:19:07.480 There has been an engagement from people that are independents and on the right
00:19:12.080 that think that the idea of impeachment is a disaster.
00:19:16.480 And it is.
00:19:17.440 There are a couple of things that our Constitution provides for removing a president,
00:19:21.740 and we've watched the left abuse them like crazy during these impeachment attempts
00:19:28.960 and the first part of his term.
00:19:30.700 You watched MSNBC and CNN especially would bring on mental health experts that continued to say
00:19:37.380 that this president is mentally ill, dangerous, and needs to be pulled out of office.
00:19:43.980 He needs to be removed.
00:19:45.040 They started talking about using the 25th Amendment.
00:19:48.200 Now, most Americans, educated in civics or not, are not familiar with the ins and outs of the 25th Amendment,
00:19:54.180 myself included at the time.
00:19:55.880 But that mechanism in place to remove a president that's incapacitated but not dead,
00:20:01.820 can't do the job, can't resign the position, but needs to be removed.
00:20:07.160 So the cabinet can vote, they take it to the Congress, the Congress approves it,
00:20:11.620 they pass on the presidential powers to the Vice President of the United States.
00:20:14.800 The Vice, or the President of the United States has two weeks in order to get back to Congress
00:20:18.880 to plead his or her case that they are able to do the job.
00:20:22.180 If they can do the job, then they're restored presidential powers.
00:20:27.000 That was the purpose of this amendment.
00:20:28.980 And look how they tried to abuse it by saying he's mentally ill and the cabinet should vote him out.
00:20:33.260 And now they're doing the same thing with impeachment.
00:20:35.900 The problem is this will far outlive Donald Trump.
00:20:38.440 I don't need to, nor do I want to defend Donald Trump.
00:20:41.420 He's going to be just fine, with or without the presidency.
00:20:44.480 But this is about what we do as a country.
00:20:47.900 Do we really want to have this happen?
00:20:51.300 Because it's going to continue to happen on both sides of the political aisle
00:20:54.560 if the American people don't speak out.
00:20:57.700 Coming up, we talk about the FISA judge and the orders after the inspector general's report.
00:21:04.640 How bad this is now for the FBI.
00:21:06.900 It is a very difficult time because of what James Comey and Andrew McCabe did.
00:21:11.200 I'm going to go into detail about that coming up.
00:21:13.080 We'll do that in the next half hour.
00:21:14.680 Again, I'm in Phoenix, Arizona.

00:22:27.160 Hey, thanks for being here.
00:22:45.660 My name is Mike Broom-Henemann, Phoenix, Arizona, Infra-Glenbeck this morning.
00:22:48.620 I appreciate you being here.
00:22:49.720 Happy holidays to you.
00:22:51.860 Merry Christmas.
00:22:52.740 Happy Hanukkah.
00:22:53.420 If you're a social media user, you can find me on Twitter, at Broomhead Show, is where
00:22:58.940 you can find me, at Broomhead Show.
00:23:01.100 I do mornings in Phoenix, Arizona.
00:23:04.420 This FISA report, this IG report, is a much bigger story than is being covered.
00:23:08.300 I understand that impeachment is sucking all of the air out of the room in many cases,
00:23:11.900 but this goes all the way back to when we got the Mueller report, where all of this
00:23:15.160 investigation came from.
00:23:16.860 There is a lot more to this story than the average person understands.
00:23:20.640 This was dirty from the beginning.
00:23:22.300 I had done a storyboard online, a video of this a year and a half ago or a year ago.
00:23:27.680 This was ugly in how this was all put together.
00:23:30.440 And that dossier that was used, as it was proven, turned out that the FBI did not vet
00:23:35.180 this, what they called opposition research in the dossier.
00:23:41.900 Carter Page was surveilled, and Carter Page was an American citizen surveilled under false
00:23:49.320 pretenses.
00:23:50.500 The courts have now said it.
00:23:51.800 As a matter of fact, the presiding judge of the FISC, which is the Foreign Intelligence
00:23:55.720 Surveillance Court, on December 5th ordered the FBI to review every single case that this
00:24:03.840 lawyer, Clinesmith, ever worked on.
00:24:06.560 Clinesmith has been accused of altering an email that was used and then was the final
00:24:13.580 step in getting a FISA or a FISA order in a FISC, a court, to surveil an American citizen.
00:24:20.760 Now, the way these FISA order works, and people complain about them being approved so often.
00:24:26.440 Well, the reason why it's such a high percentage of approval isn't because it's lax.
00:24:31.180 It's because of the steps that are taken beforehand and an agent in a field office.
00:24:36.900 And incidentally, this initial investigation being handled by James Comey and Andrew McCabe
00:24:41.140 at FBI headquarters is exactly the problem.
00:24:45.280 I don't know of another time ever that this has happened.
00:24:47.440 And I've got friends that have been with the FBI for over 50 years between them and other
00:24:51.680 people that are actively in the FBI.
00:24:54.520 Investigations are not run out of headquarters.
00:24:56.540 They are not investigators.
00:24:57.720 They're politicians.
00:24:58.620 They're bureaucrats.
00:24:59.740 Investigators in a field office investigate when they believe that they have reason to
00:25:05.900 surveil, especially an American.
00:25:09.460 They take it up through the chain of command and FBI lawyers at the local field office approve
00:25:14.020 it.
00:25:14.240 It goes all the way up to the headquarters level where it's gone through again, and they
00:25:18.120 make sure that all the I's are dotted and all the T's are crossed.
00:25:20.860 The same thing happens at the DOJ, where the DOJ goes through the same process locally,
00:25:26.120 a U.S. attorney working with an agent, working this process up through the chain of command
00:25:30.780 in both of their respective agencies.
00:25:33.080 It gets to the top and it goes off their desk in front of a judge.
00:25:36.900 And a judge then looks at that evidence, approves it and allows surveillance.
00:25:41.000 You have to go back every 30 or 60 days to get approval to continue the surveillance.
00:25:46.540 You have to show fruit.
00:25:47.820 You can't just perpetually surveil an American or anyone.
00:25:55.860 And that's exactly what happened here on three different occasions.
00:25:59.240 They went back to get renewal on surveilling Carter Page.
00:26:02.760 They didn't use exculpatory evidence.
00:26:05.120 They didn't tell the judge all of the details.
00:26:06.900 They never vetted the dossier that turned out to be completely wrong in which Mueller and
00:26:13.680 the Mueller report debunked the key pieces that they use as evidence against Carter Page.
00:26:20.400 When you look at the foundations of this and how it led to impeachment, collusion, Russian
00:26:26.760 asset, Russian agent, you still have Democrats that are going on right now on television over
00:26:32.440 the weekend saying that this president is still a Russian agent or they fear that Vladimir Putin is
00:26:38.820 is bribing this president.
00:26:43.440 And none of that is true.
00:26:45.600 Again, if you were to take Donald Trump's name out of this, if we were able to, because he is such a
00:26:52.120 polarizing figure, you would see just how heinous this was.
00:26:57.980 So now you have a judge, the presiding judge of the FISC is ordering a review of all of
00:27:05.060 these cases.
00:27:06.560 For those of you that are listening.
00:27:09.260 That are in law enforcement or prior service in law enforcement, you know better than anyone.
00:27:14.360 A cop is taught day one of the police academy, and it doesn't matter if it's the FBI academy
00:27:19.520 or your local sheriff's department or police agency.
00:27:22.980 Officers are taught day one.
00:27:25.360 Do not lie.
00:27:27.220 Don't lie in a report.
00:27:29.540 Don't lie in an interview and certainly never lie on the witness stand.
00:27:33.100 If you do something wrong, you own up to it because the lie will follow you for the rest
00:27:38.820 of your career.
00:27:39.880 If you lie under oath, every case you ever testified in or will testify in is going to be
00:27:45.940 held in less regard.
00:27:48.680 It will be suspect.
00:27:50.240 And that's exactly what we're seeing here.
00:27:52.420 The foreign intelligence surveillance courts are now going to make it so much more difficult
00:27:58.760 on the legitimate FBI agents out there that are working hard, doing the right thing and
00:28:04.340 getting surveillance order when they are warranted by law.
00:28:08.060 Because James Comey, the politician and Andrew McCabe, the politician were worried about their
00:28:13.100 jobs.
00:28:13.520 I firmly believe that they believed, like everyone else, that Hillary Clinton would be
00:28:18.240 president.
00:28:18.960 They didn't want a negative investigation with their names on it, and they certainly were
00:28:23.740 going to do whatever they could to make sure they kept their jobs.
00:28:26.400 I don't necessarily believe it was political at the beginning.
00:28:29.400 I think it was self-serving.
00:28:30.980 It was self-preservation.
00:28:32.220 No one involved in this believed that this would see the light of day.
00:28:38.320 Why?
00:28:38.820 Because Hillary would be president, and Donald Trump complaining about a rigged election
00:28:42.920 would never see the light of day.
00:28:44.840 How do we know that?
00:28:46.460 Barack Obama.
00:28:48.380 Barack Obama said during the campaign, in reference directly to Donald Trump, no foreign
00:28:54.840 government has ever altered an American election or will be able to, and I suggest Mr.
00:29:00.020 Trump go out there and get votes.
00:29:02.240 When the election was over, and Hillary did exactly what she was afraid Donald was going
00:29:06.660 to do, and say it was stolen from her by the Russians, Barack Obama came out and said,
00:29:12.220 we knew more about the actions of the Russians than we told anybody, but we didn't want Trump
00:29:16.420 to use it as an excuse, so we downplayed it.
00:29:18.860 Now, I'm paraphrasing, but that's what the White House or the former president said.
00:29:24.200 So they were well aware of all of this ahead of time.
00:29:26.940 And yet, there's a surveillance order on Carter Page.
00:29:34.040 So now, there's a criminal investigation going on.
00:29:37.920 Because remember, Horowitz, the inspector general, he did not have any arrest or subpoena power.
00:29:43.680 He could only talk with people that were willing to talk with him.
00:29:46.700 That is not the case with the U.S. attorney that's doing the investigation.
00:29:51.800 Now, subpoena and arrest powers.
00:29:54.980 And they are looking at communications between the former FBI director, James Comey, and the
00:30:00.180 former CIA director, Brennan.
00:30:01.680 This is going to get ugly, and within the next couple of days, you are going to see James
00:30:07.900 Comey, Andrew McCabe, and Brennan lawyer up, because they are going to find themselves in
00:30:12.840 severely hot water.
00:30:15.720 This is the kind of stuff that America looks at, and we should all be terrified.
00:30:21.820 This crosses party lines.
00:30:24.340 Take Donald Trump's name out of this.
00:30:26.200 I want you to hear, I want you to hear Adam Schiff, because Adam Schiff was asked about
00:30:32.900 Carter Page and the surveillance of Carter Page under false pretenses.
00:30:37.420 This is what we got from Schiff.
00:30:39.200 Carter Page says that the FBI spying into his life ruined his good name.
00:30:44.240 That's a quote.
00:30:45.480 He also says that he will, quote, never completely have his name restored.
00:30:50.200 Do you feel any sympathy for Carter Page?
00:30:52.480 I have to say, you know, Carter Page came before our committee, and for hours of his testimony,
00:31:00.780 denied things that we knew were true, later had to admit them during his testimony.
00:31:06.600 It's hard to be sympathetic to someone who isn't honest with you when he comes and testifies
00:31:10.980 under oath.
00:31:12.680 It's also hard to be sympathetic when you have someone who is admitted to being an advisor
00:31:18.500 to the Kremlin.
00:31:19.240 But that was also informing the CIA.
00:31:20.800 Yes, yes.
00:31:23.500 Which we didn't know about.
00:31:24.580 Who was apparently both targeted by the KGB, but also talking to the United States and its
00:31:33.740 agencies.
00:31:35.200 And that should have been included, made clear.
00:31:37.960 And it wasn't, according to Inspector General.
00:31:41.520 So now you see how sad he is for someone that was surveilled.
00:31:46.220 We're going to talk about this some more.
00:31:47.660 There is more to this story, and it's going to have a fallout for years to come.
00:31:52.840 Pull Trump's name out of it.
00:31:54.580 You take Donald Trump's name out of all of this, and it becomes obvious that this was
00:31:59.640 an abuse of power by the American government.
00:32:02.580 More on this coming up in a moment.
00:32:03.900 Again, my name is Mike Broomhead, and this is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:32:06.420 You're listening to Glenn Beck.
00:32:10.200 We all have holiday traditions.
00:32:15.980 Maybe it's whipping up a special dish or wearing a certain sweater of questionable fashion.
00:32:20.360 But it turns out that cybercriminals have a tradition of their own, trying to take what's
00:32:24.540 yours.
00:32:25.120 Because they know this time of the year, you tend to do a lot more while connected to Wi-Fi.
00:32:30.060 That's why Norton 360 gives you multiple layers of protection, such as a VPN to block hackers
00:32:36.700 from seeing your private info that you're sending over Wi-Fi.
00:32:40.400 Or a password manager to securely manage all of your login information.
00:32:44.840 Real-time device protection against evolving threats, and so much more.
00:32:48.920 Now, nobody can prevent all cybercrime, but Norton 360 gives you a powerful layer after
00:32:54.340 layer of protection.
00:32:55.500 A whole lot more than your traditional antivirus.
00:32:58.280 So get Norton 360 and save up to 50% off your first year with an annual subscription.
00:33:04.620 This is an amazing offer.
00:33:06.100 Go to Norton.com slash Beck.
00:33:07.960 That's Norton.com slash Beck.
00:33:10.060 And save up to 50% off right now.
00:33:18.900 Hey, thanks again for being here.
00:33:20.200 My name is Mike Broomhead, and this is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:33:22.340 Talking about the surveillance of an American citizen in the FISC or the FISA courts, it
00:33:28.460 is something that is very dangerous when it's abused.
00:33:31.780 I think all of us understand that.
00:33:33.920 Ted Cruz was talking about this.
00:33:36.160 The senator was talking about this IG report and how the politicization of all of this happened.
00:33:42.860 So Nancy Pelosi said after the impeachment that maybe she'll sit on the articles of impeachment
00:33:48.980 before sending it over to you and your colleagues in the Senate, can she do that?
00:33:53.300 You know, you can't make this up.
00:33:55.280 Listen, I think this is a sign of weakness.
00:33:57.580 This is a sign she understands just how weak these articles are.
00:34:02.340 And these articles of impeachment that they actually voted on were really an admission
00:34:06.820 of failure.
00:34:07.880 For months, they had been promising all of this evidence of criminal activity.
00:34:11.760 For months, they'd been talking about bribery.
00:34:13.420 They'd been talking about quid pro quo.
00:34:14.640 But then they heard all the evidence and they got no evidence of it.
00:34:18.680 And these articles don't allege any crime.
00:34:21.920 This is the first time in the history of our country that a president has been impeached
00:34:25.780 without a single article alleging any criminal conduct.
00:34:29.520 They don't allege any crime.
00:34:30.460 They don't even allege any federal law that was violated.
00:34:33.480 This was, at the end of the day, a political response because Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats
00:34:39.080 hate the president.
00:34:40.840 And that's a lead into what he was talking about later, which was they politicized this
00:34:47.780 investigation, the IG report.
00:34:50.220 Here's the issue with all of this, that they have the FISA courts were designed in the 1970s.
00:34:55.760 Now, like a lot of people, the assumption has been that after 9-11 with the Patriot Act
00:35:00.840 and otherwise, the FISA courts, the Fisks were developed.
00:35:04.380 And that's not the case.
00:35:05.320 If you remember going back into the 1960s, the federal government arbitrarily, at their
00:35:10.540 own desire, would surveil people.
00:35:12.820 Martin Luther King Jr., if they labeled you as subversive, they did surveillance.
00:35:17.560 Well, that is not an American principle.
00:35:19.260 And that's where FISA or the Fisks were developed.
00:35:21.780 And it was a set of checks and balances to be able to surveil a foreign entity.
00:35:27.380 And if an American was caught up in that surveillance of a foreign entity, there were rules that had
00:35:32.340 to apply and you had to get permission from a court to surveil.
00:35:37.320 So they used this dossier, which was hired by Hillary Clinton and the DNC, as opposition
00:35:44.060 research.
00:35:44.820 It was never evidence.
00:35:47.860 And if I'll give you an analogy, any couple that's ever gone through a divorce realize it
00:35:53.480 is a horrible time.
00:35:54.500 And they say that a criminal court is good people or bad people on their best behavior.
00:35:59.140 And in a family court, it's usually good people on their worst behavior because it's so emotional.
00:36:03.820 If there is an accusation of abuse by a spouse that is getting a divorce, investigators investigate,
00:36:10.960 but they look at it with a higher level of suspicion because of the the weight that it includes,
00:36:16.160 because how any of this could be look really good for one spouse and horrible for the other
00:36:20.620 in the investigation or in their divorce proceedings.
00:36:23.480 If you've got opposition research and you're using that as evidence, they should have weighted
00:36:28.540 that with a lot more suspicion.
00:36:30.580 The guy that wrote the report, Christopher Steele.
00:36:34.540 Now, the FBI labels their informants with three levels of reliability.
00:36:38.860 They're reliable, they're unreliable or of unknown reliability.
00:36:42.800 Christopher Steele was always known as unknown reliability.
00:36:46.740 They didn't know whether they could trust his words or not.
00:36:49.300 And yet it wasn't an investigator with the FBI.
00:36:52.980 It wasn't an agent with the FBI.
00:36:55.060 It was the higher ups.
00:36:56.380 It was James Comey.
00:36:57.500 It was Andrew McCabe.
00:36:59.080 It was Peter Stroke.
00:37:00.780 They went to a court and swore that what was in that dossier was evidence to the best of their knowledge.
00:37:09.200 Now, can they get away with it by saying, well, it was to the best of our knowledge because we never investigated it?
00:37:15.680 This was politicized from day one, and there is no counterintelligence investigation like this that doesn't go through the White House.
00:37:27.880 I am not saying that Barack Obama knew about this, but I know the White House did, and so does anybody else in the surveillance business.
00:37:36.420 You do not have a counterintelligence investigation against an American candidate for president that there isn't knowledge and approval from inside the White House.
00:37:46.660 It doesn't happen.
00:37:47.600 So how far did this go?
00:37:49.860 Brennan is under investigation.
00:37:51.380 Comey is under investigation.
00:37:54.180 Horowitz, the IG, said that this does not exonerate anybody.
00:37:58.640 It doesn't vindicate anyone that ever touched this investigation.
00:38:02.700 FBI lawyer is going to lose his career for altering an email and may go to jail.
00:38:09.200 And yet, when we look at all of this, it's not a reported story.
00:38:13.820 It doesn't fit a narrative.
00:38:15.740 Pull Donald Trump's name out.
00:38:17.560 Again, I don't have any inclination on this.
00:38:20.600 It isn't my passion on this to defend Donald Trump.
00:38:24.460 Donald Trump can defend himself.
00:38:26.100 Donald Trump is a grown man and the president of the United States.
00:38:29.440 As an American, this cannot happen.
00:38:32.700 The FISC and the FISA, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, was passed and designed to make sure this never happens.
00:38:43.300 The fallout of this now, of course, is that every FBI agent legitimately working a case, trying to get a FISA order, is going to be fine-tooth combed.
00:38:54.120 It is going to make good FBI agents suffer and cases suffer because of what Andrew McCabe and because of what James Comey did.
00:39:03.240 There's no doubt about that whatsoever.
00:39:08.740 It's a terrible thing that happened.
00:39:11.700 Coming up next hour, great news for the American economy, and it keeps getting better.
00:39:16.920 No matter what you hear from the left, I'm going to lay out the statistics that every single American is doing better than they were before as far as demographics go.
00:39:27.640 All that coming up.
00:39:28.520 Again, we've got a lot coming up on the show.
00:39:30.960 My name is Mike Broomhead.
00:39:31.860 I'm in Phoenix, Arizona.
00:39:32.900 In all day, this is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:39:36.140 You're listening to Glenn Beck.
00:39:51.520 The fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
00:39:55.120 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:39:58.480 You know, perspective is a wonderful thing.
00:40:00.520 You can have two people look at exactly the same thing and see two different things.
00:40:04.160 That's what makes art terrific.
00:40:05.280 It makes everything else terrific.
00:40:06.660 But when it comes to facts, there is only one set of facts.
00:40:10.360 You look at the American economy, and there is a segment of the American public that think we are on the verge of doomsday.
00:40:15.680 When you look at every indicator, you look at how great the economy is going for the American people, all of the American people.
00:40:23.020 And there are some statistics that we have never seen before.
00:40:26.160 I've done my homework on this and talking to members of Congress and ways and means,
00:40:29.980 talking to economists and people in local government about the direction that the United States is heading and where we are.
00:40:36.760 And a couple of indicators in consumer confidence.
00:40:39.500 That being said, how do we have a political party that is able to run on a dismal economy that's not working for all Americans?
00:40:47.540 We explore last year in just a moment.
00:40:49.360 My name is Mike Broomhead, and this is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:40:51.940 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:40:57.720 Eleven student groups, including the Harvard College Democrats, signed a petition accusing their school paper of showing cultural insensitivity for contacting ICE for a comment after a protest against the agency on campus.
00:41:09.960 That's it.
00:41:10.360 They just reached out for a comment.
00:41:11.720 Thankfully, there is something we can do about the madness and the destruction of our civilization by these woke activists.
00:41:17.120 It's as simple as the service you use every day.

00:42:04.560 Hey, thanks again for being here.
00:42:06.080 Merry Christmas.
00:42:06.800 Happy Hanukkah.
00:42:07.500 It's the Glenn Beck Program.
00:42:08.620 My name is Mike Broomhead in Phoenix, Arizona.
00:42:11.040 Looking at local and national economy, the American economy is going as good as it's gone in my lifetime for sure.
00:42:19.160 And if you look at statistics and who it's helping and who is gaining ground, this is working for all Americans.
00:42:25.720 This is a reason for us to celebrate.
00:42:28.580 Going back to 2016, there was a story, economists, saying that a Trump win would tank the stock markets.
00:42:39.420 There was one expert economist in 2016, right after the election, before the inauguration, and he was asked, how long will it take for us to recover from a Trump economy?
00:42:49.900 And he replied, we'll never recover.
00:42:52.600 That was the doomsday prediction, that what he was going to do was destroy the American economy.
00:42:59.860 Well, the exact opposite has happened.
00:43:01.760 Let me just run down some statistics.
00:43:04.200 Perspective.
00:43:04.720 I have very close friends, and I mean this sincerely, I have very close friends that are very liberal.
00:43:10.820 I have a friend that I grew up with that I love like a brother.
00:43:13.840 One of my first friends when I reload, I grew up in southwest Florida in a town called Fort Myers.
00:43:18.140 I moved there when I was young.
00:43:19.700 I was 11 years old, and one of my first friends, and we grew up in the same neighborhood, rode the same school bus.
00:43:25.780 We were inseparable as a group for years and years and years, and how we breathed the same air and became so polar opposites politically, I don't know.
00:43:34.180 But we still, we argue like crazy, but we love each other like brothers.
00:43:39.040 And his view of the economy being dismal, and he's a business guy.
00:43:44.220 He's a guy that runs a business, is impossible for me to wrap my arms around outside of a disdain for Donald Trump.
00:43:54.380 You can have a different opinion on feelings, but the facts are still the facts.
00:43:58.920 We know that here in the month of December, the Dow Jones has added over 10,000 points since Trump was inaugurated.
00:44:08.560 10,000 points since inauguration day.
00:44:11.960 The Dow, the NASDAQ, and the S&P, the three big indicators, have all touched and or set records this month.
00:44:19.820 All of that is absolutely true.
00:44:23.860 The lowest unemployment rate in 54, 55 years.
00:44:27.860 That also is true.
00:44:29.160 Highest number of Americans employed.
00:44:31.820 But when you look at the demographics, it's the lowest black unemployment in America since they've been keeping the statistic.
00:44:40.540 Same with Hispanic unemployment.
00:44:42.680 Over 60% of the jobs created during this administration.
00:44:46.860 Notice I didn't say by this administration.
00:44:48.980 During this administration, over 60% of those jobs have gone to women.
00:44:55.180 You've got unemployment low, employment rate high.
00:44:59.600 You also have growth.
00:45:02.320 You have people's incomes growing faster now than they have in decades.
00:45:06.660 And very low inflation, which means you are not just keeping up with your way of life, with your raises.
00:45:12.540 You're actually living better.
00:45:13.980 However, the bottom of the economic ladder, the lowest earners in America, have seen the greatest growth.
00:45:21.840 There are two indicators.
00:45:23.020 They say it's been years and years and years since both have been a positive answer.
00:45:26.980 One is, are you better this year than you were last year?
00:45:30.800 The answer from the majority of Americans is yes.
00:45:33.920 Do you believe you will be better off next year than you are this year?
00:45:37.380 Again, the overwhelming answer from the American people is yes.
00:45:41.740 Working class Americans are earning more and keeping more of their own money.
00:45:46.520 The tax cuts helped everyone.
00:45:49.620 And this is my problem with what we're seeing in America, that instead of us being overjoyed, it's I live in a desert.
00:45:57.120 I live in Phoenix, Arizona.
00:45:58.540 There is a time of year we call monsoon season where the rains come.
00:46:03.080 People dance in the streets when it rains here because of the long spans without rain.
00:46:09.760 When it rains, it's a joyous experience.
00:46:12.800 We should be overjoyed with the rain right now.
00:46:15.740 We had so much of an economic drought and climbing out of a recession.
00:46:19.200 Businesses scraping by and not thriving.
00:46:23.060 And now businesses, big and small, are thriving and individuals are thriving as well.
00:46:28.040 As a nation, we should be overjoyed.
00:46:31.180 And as a party, the Democrats should be overjoyed.
00:46:35.720 The Democrats should be thrilled with what's going on.
00:46:39.580 The working class Americans, the working poor as they call them in America, that they claim to be the champions for,
00:46:46.260 are living better now than they have in decades.
00:46:51.160 Wage increase, job growth.
00:46:53.820 You have the Democratic candidates that are still selling a bill of goods that say we need an economy that works for everyone.
00:47:01.820 What demographic is the economy not working for?
00:47:04.960 Every American that wants a job right now has a job.
00:47:08.440 And we also know wages are going up.
00:47:10.560 They can't say that they're not good jobs.
00:47:12.240 They absolutely are good jobs.
00:47:14.120 We have now shown that when the government gets out of the way, the lives of people improve.
00:47:22.480 They do it themselves.
00:47:24.160 All this president did was unleash the job creators.
00:47:28.500 And look what it's done.
00:47:31.160 I will say one thing that a mindset shift that all of us could learn from.
00:47:36.520 When you hear the Democrats talk about givebacks to corporations, I want you to change the way they think and the way you think.
00:47:47.880 A tax cut is not giving anyone anything.
00:47:50.980 A tax cut is taking less from them.
00:47:54.960 The government doesn't give you anything.
00:47:58.100 They take less from you.
00:48:00.160 A tax is them confiscating some of your earnings.
00:48:03.300 If they take less, they take less.
00:48:06.500 That's not giving you anything.
00:48:09.380 And I'll tell you, that shift in mindset would have people go a long way when looking at how this economy has improved.
00:48:16.740 Not done with this by a long shot.
00:48:18.420 There is still so much more to talk about with the economy.
00:48:21.040 Statistically proven for both local and the federal level.
00:48:24.160 What this president has done with policies that has unleashed the American people and how it's going to bode for him in the next election cycle.
00:48:31.680 All of these things, impeachment, all of it intertwined.
00:48:34.760 And the economy is one of the key pieces of it.
00:48:36.800 We're going to get to more of this coming up here in just a moment.
00:48:38.760 And again, my name is Mike Broomhead.
00:48:40.080 I'm in Phoenix, Arizona.
00:48:41.160 And this is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:48:42.600 The RecTech Grill is going to change your life.
00:48:49.160 And I know that is a bold, bold statement.

00:49:08.380 Everyone that buys a grill gets the owner's personal cell phone number.

00:49:43.000 That's R-E-C-T-E-C grills dot com.
00:49:49.120 Talking about the economy and what's happening in America, there's just good news.
00:49:53.380 And it's something we all should be celebrating.
00:49:55.120 Why are the Democrats being defeated?
00:49:56.700 Because it goes against the policies of what's happening.
00:49:59.860 You realize that Barack Obama couldn't get elected right now.
00:50:02.500 There's no way that he is far enough left, if you can believe it, that he could get elected.
00:50:07.580 His border policies.
00:50:09.260 Joe Biden is actually apologizing for the border policies of the Obama administration as part of his presidential run.
00:50:16.300 It's also why he's playing to 50 people in Iowa.
00:50:18.800 But that's what he's having to do.
00:50:20.380 But when it comes to the economy, you're hearing the Elizabeth Warrens and the Bernie Sanders and and well, even as the billionaires, the Styers and the Bloombergs, you hear them wanting to punish wealth.
00:50:32.780 When you talk about paying their fair share, we can talk about the cliches forever.
00:50:37.760 But let's look at what happened to unleash the American economy.
00:50:41.180 And it's working, which is why they have to say it's not working.
00:50:45.280 First of all, when the president took office, he did what he could do by executive order by rescinding a lot of regulation.
00:50:51.620 If you would ask corporations five years ago, four years ago, what is more oppressive and what is harder for you to work around taxes or regulation?
00:51:02.040 There are a lot of corporations who have a hard time answering that question.
00:51:06.160 Compliance with big companies and even small companies is difficult.
00:51:09.200 Trying to get around the federal regulations or to deal with federal regulations is costly.
00:51:14.720 I was a contractor for many years.
00:51:16.640 I was I was an electrician and then I had my own company for a while and you understand that compliance or nonproductive labor eats up a lot of money in your company, even if you're small.
00:51:28.100 And I ran mine out of my house.
00:51:30.760 It is a difficult thing to do.
00:51:33.660 So you look at the compliance and the regulation that and restrictions that are put on businesses and the president began to rescind those.
00:51:41.900 And the way he won the election is not with the Russians.
00:51:45.440 If you look at the over 200 districts that President Trump won in swing states, those 200 plus districts in swing states that had twice voted for Barack Obama voted for him.
00:51:58.320 Some by a very slim margin.
00:52:00.260 We understand that.
00:52:01.480 But the message that this president sent was to the American worker.
00:52:05.460 This was to the working class.
00:52:07.420 And I would say to you, probably many of them working class Democrats, the president said, I am going to reduce regulation and taxes on your bosses.
00:52:17.960 They are going to make more money.
00:52:19.720 But what they're going to do is reinvest in their business.
00:52:22.300 They're going to repatriate money.
00:52:24.040 They're going to repatriate jobs.
00:52:25.840 So those manufacturing jobs you've been relying on, those 25 and 30 dollar an hour jobs are going to be secure.
00:52:34.580 You're not going to be fighting over 12 and 13 dollar an hour jobs.
00:52:38.260 And they liked what they heard.
00:52:39.780 And they said they were going to give him a chance.
00:52:41.760 This president will go back into those swing states and he will say promises made, promises kept because he reduced regulation where he could on his own without legislation.
00:52:51.540 And then beyond that, he was able to get the Congress to fight over a tax cut.
00:52:56.460 And the tax cut passed through and we watched the economy begin to soar.
00:53:01.940 Now we talk about deficits and the Democrats are telling you the tax cuts are responsible.
00:53:06.860 You can just Google search it yourself.
00:53:08.640 Don't take my word for it if you're someone on the left that's listening as opposition here and is looking for a way to to defeat what I'm saying.
00:53:17.460 Go and look at the raw data.
00:53:19.660 The United States Treasury is collecting more income tax dollars from individuals and businesses now than ever in the history of America, even when adjusted for inflation.
00:53:30.600 So exactly what this president said was we are going to broaden the economy.
00:53:34.980 We're going to put people back to work and that will raise the dollar amount in the United States Treasury.
00:53:41.300 The reason why we're having such high deficits is we are still spending at an alarming pace.
00:53:46.040 There's no doubt that spending needs to be reined in.
00:53:48.800 And the analogy I use with my local audience in Phoenix is I use the analogy of Black Friday after Thanksgiving.
00:53:59.860 How is it that companies get in the black when they're drastically cutting their prices?
00:54:04.560 The answer is volume.
00:54:06.540 They broaden their customer base.
00:54:08.640 So instead of Walmart selling 100 TVs on Saturday, Walmart sends sells 1500 TVs on Saturday because they're on sale or on Friday on Black Friday.
00:54:21.020 That's how they get in the black.
00:54:22.740 Well, with the American economy, they made us it made us more competitive.
00:54:27.060 So we look at just those two things alone.
00:54:29.460 But then you factor in this USMCA.
00:54:31.860 Do you realize and this is where a lot of people say, you know, Donald Trump isn't really as conservative as other presidents have been.
00:54:39.320 Donald Trump and the USMCA gave the labor unions in America exactly what they wanted in a lot of ways.
00:54:46.260 Mexico is required, according to the USMCA, to improve working conditions and safety conditions in their manufacturing plants.
00:54:53.780 And there are wage minimums for Mexican workers.
00:54:57.440 What that does is make America more competitive in the manufacturing world.
00:55:02.660 That's why they're talking about a couple of hundred thousand jobs.
00:55:05.880 The same with agriculture in America.
00:55:08.980 This is the USMCA that Nancy Pelosi had on her desk for over a year and then came out last week and said, we're doing it because it's good for the American people, not because Donald Trump.
00:55:19.780 She sat on it for over a year.
00:55:22.300 Now the news that China is going to drastically reduce tariffs next year, beginning with a lot of them in January, which means that I am a free trade person.
00:55:34.680 I'm not someone that likes tariffs.
00:55:36.720 I was doubtful of the president and thought it was a bad idea to get into a trade war that it does hurt people economically when that happens.
00:55:44.220 In the long run, the way it looks, our economy is soaring even more because it is the tariffs are going to start going away.
00:55:53.000 China is starting to deal with the US, realizing they need to be a part of our economy.
00:55:59.500 These are all good things that this president has done.
00:56:02.780 I'm not saying it to defend him, to get him reelected president.
00:56:06.280 I'm saying as an American, look at what's happened this time of year.
00:56:10.600 All Americans are feeling better.
00:56:12.420 I shouldn't say all Americans, every demographic of American is feeling better.
00:56:18.000 Why?
00:56:18.900 And how do you know?
00:56:20.420 Travel over Thanksgiving was the highest in decades or forever.
00:56:24.720 Same thing we're seeing holiday travel now.
00:56:27.280 Gift giving and spending.
00:56:29.120 You look at the spending that's happening now online and in brick and mortar stores.
00:56:34.120 It's setting records.
00:56:35.420 Why?
00:56:36.040 People are willing to take a risk they weren't before.
00:56:39.560 You limit yourself with the holidays for Christmas.
00:56:41.740 You talk about what's your maximum you're going to spend on gifts.
00:56:45.320 You stay within a budget.
00:56:46.840 People are taking more of a risk now.
00:56:48.780 They're willing to use a credit card because they believe their job is secure.
00:56:52.240 These are the working class Americans.
00:56:54.520 And when inflation stays low, they have more discretionary income.
00:56:58.360 It's a huge difference for a working family.
00:57:00.580 I spent my entire life until I got into radio 10 years ago as an hourly wage worker or an employer of hourly wage people.
00:57:09.720 And a gas, a spike in gas prices is a tax on the working family.
00:57:14.200 How many of us out there have spent time in our lives working for a living, you know, five-gallon bucket of tools in a work truck where you make a decision on Thursday, do I buy lunch or bring lunch?
00:57:26.660 Because I may need that five bucks to get gas in my car to get to work tomorrow to pick up my paycheck on Friday.
00:57:32.820 That paycheck-to-paycheck worker.
00:57:35.700 They are seeing improvements in their life.
00:57:37.900 They are seeing improvements in their quality of life financially.
00:57:40.540 And along with that, we're watching anybody else that has, I have a retirement account.
00:57:45.820 I have a 401k.
00:57:47.160 You look at the people that have investments in this country, and we've added over $11 trillion.
00:57:53.000 It's approaching $12 trillion now, I believe.
00:57:55.420 $12 trillion in wealth in the time that this president has been in office.
00:58:00.180 This is a time, especially this time of year, when Americans take inventory about how blessed we are as a nation.
00:58:09.460 This is a time when we should be overwhelmed with joy and thankfulness that we are in a time of prosperity in this country.
00:58:16.500 But instead, because of American politics, they're going to take the facts I gave you and tell you that those aren't the facts for everyone.
00:58:23.220 No, they're not the facts for everyone, but they are giving people an opportunity like they've never had before.
00:58:30.180 I have grandchildren now, and I think about them, and the oldest one in 10 years is going to be making choices about either college, workforce, or military.
00:58:43.800 Am I setting him up to be successful if he works hard?
00:58:48.380 And the other thing I will say is charitable giving.
00:58:51.220 The three things we have to offer this world, money, talent, and time, those are the three things we have to offer the world.
00:58:58.860 And you will see a spike in charitable giving from every level because even the most working class, what we would call the working poor in America, are feeling blessed by improvement, and they tend to give even more.
00:59:12.100 I say this as a form of encouragement.
00:59:16.480 If you read the news, which I do every single day because of this job, half of America seems to think that we are on the verge of economic collapse.
00:59:25.480 We have not seen these kind of great indicators in American economy, certainly in my lifetime.
00:59:30.820 This is a time where entrepreneurs are taking risks, where people are changing jobs because they're available, where you're able to go out and earn more money.
00:59:41.160 Nothing is perfect, and we're far from perfect, but we are so far improved from where we've come.
00:59:46.520 And then we get into the argument about, well, how much did Obama add to the stock market and how much?
00:59:50.800 It's such a silly, silly argument.
00:59:54.760 You want to have that argument, let's do that.
00:59:56.940 You know, the coach of the Cleveland Browns has led that team.
00:59:59.980 No offense, Cleveland, by the way, I'm using you as an example.
01:00:02.880 But the coach of the Cleveland Browns has won a lot more games this season than they've won in the two previous seasons combined.
01:00:09.380 You want him or Bill Belichick as your head coach?
01:00:13.940 There's a difference between doing better than we were and setting records.
01:00:19.500 There's a major difference.
01:00:22.560 And the policies of the left aren't working or weren't working, and we're seeing the policies of the free market and giving people more of their money and low taxes as being the fuel to an economy.
01:00:34.780 It defeats everything these presidential candidates on the left stand for, and it defeats every bit of their message.
01:00:41.260 So the only way to do it is to tell you that it's not true.
01:00:45.540 In a few moments, we talk about impeachment, and we're going to get back into exactly why this is all happening.
01:00:51.640 It's a big story.
01:00:53.500 And as we move forward with these articles of impeachment, will they ever see the light of day in the United States Senate?
01:01:00.180 It's a question we never thought we would ask because we've never seen anything like this before.
01:01:04.340 So stick around.
01:01:05.260 My name is Mike Broomhead, and this is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:01:13.640 You're listening to Glenn Beck.
01:01:16.260 We all have holiday traditions.
01:01:19.180 Maybe it's whipping up a special dish or wearing a certain sweater of questionable fashion.
01:01:23.560 But it turns out that cybercriminals have a tradition of their own, trying to take what's yours.
01:01:28.300 Because they know this time of the year, you tend to do a lot more while connected to Wi-Fi.
01:01:33.260 That's why Norton 360 gives you multiple layers of protection, such as a VPN to block hackers from seeing your private info that you're sending over Wi-Fi.
01:01:43.600 Or a password manager to securely manage all of your login information.
01:01:48.060 Real-time device protection against evolving threats, and so much more.
01:01:52.140 Now, nobody can prevent all cybercrime, but Norton 360 gives you a powerful layer after layer of protection.
01:01:58.700 A whole lot more than your traditional antivirus.
01:02:01.460 So get Norton 360 and save up to 50% off your first year with an annual subscription.
01:02:07.820 This is an amazing offer.

01:02:11.160 That's Norton.com slash Beck.
01:02:13.280 And save up to 50% off right now.
01:02:16.220 Hey, thanks for being here this morning.
01:02:26.960 My name is Mike Bruhett.
01:02:28.180 I'm in for Glenn Beck.
01:02:29.080 We appreciate you joining us.
01:02:30.420 It is a great time of year.
01:02:32.840 Merry Christmas to everyone.
01:02:33.960 Happy Hanukkah.
01:02:37.180 Impeachment and how this is going for people on the left.
01:02:40.360 There are a lot of – everybody has an opinion.
01:02:42.220 There are a lot of conspiracy theories out there of why Nancy Pelosi is doing what she's doing.
01:02:48.120 But I, from the beginning, thought that Nancy Pelosi was painting herself into a corner.
01:02:52.320 And I wondered how she was going to get out of it.
01:02:55.060 And I got to give her credit.
01:02:56.260 What she has done is fairly remarkable because I never saw this coming.
01:03:01.380 I have a friend here.
01:03:03.080 I do my show in Phoenix, Arizona, and one of our Arizona congressmen is on ways and means.
01:03:07.280 He's not on judiciary or in the intelligence committee.
01:03:09.360 His name is David Schweikert, and he's one of the smartest people in the United States Congress, in my opinion.
01:03:14.600 And I was asking Schweikert, did you ever see this coming?
01:03:18.540 And he, before I finished the question, said no.
01:03:21.280 No one saw this coming.
01:03:23.440 No one saw her holding up these articles of impeachment the way that she is.
01:03:27.740 And I'll tell you why in a moment, but I want you to hear Pennsylvania voters.
01:03:32.840 Pennsylvania voters are talking about the impeachment process and what they think and why they think it.
01:03:38.320 And this is, again, swing state, carried by Trump, thin margin, something that everyone is paying very close attention to in these states.
01:03:47.360 And this is what the voters are saying.
01:03:49.340 But what critics see as clear evidence of presidential abuse of power, CEO Philip DeVores sees as just the same old polarized Washington politics that moved him to vote for Trump in the first place.
01:04:01.560 If it did anything, it would make me want to support him more.
01:04:04.500 It's pretty much the same story down on the farm.
01:04:06.980 This location, there's about 1,500 cows being milked.
01:04:10.940 Milked from the Culp family, Derry goes into Hershey chocolate and Blander Lake's butter.
01:04:15.280 Culp's business is improving, but his attitude toward impeachment is not.
01:04:19.460 He doesn't follow it much.
01:04:20.800 Now I've worked too many hours to pay close attention.
01:04:24.060 The way Culp sees it, voters should elect more like Trump to Congress.
01:04:28.920 Is the impeachment process in any way going to change your outlook or support of this president in 2020?
01:04:34.580 No, you know, it just makes me, I guess, more convinced that we need more outsiders in Washington.
01:04:42.440 You know, and it's amazing.
01:04:43.800 That is exactly how the voters are feeling.
01:04:45.900 And what's to blame?
01:04:47.180 This is what's so terrific about this.
01:04:48.920 When you look at what's to blame for it, they're blaming Fox News.
01:04:53.880 They're blaming talk radio.
01:04:55.920 It is what it really is, is the process.
01:04:59.380 The American people may not be educated on it, on the elections or on politics the way most of us would hope.
01:05:06.140 If you are someone that is a, you know, an avid listener to talk radio, if you follow American politics like I always have, it's been it's been such a miracle to me to watch what our government has done.
01:05:17.420 To be honest with you, if you look at the United States Constitution and the brilliance of that document, of a document that assumes power to the states and power to the individual, but then assigns certain power to the federal government.
01:05:31.520 The United States Constitution actually limits the power of the federal government.
01:05:35.780 It is a great document in and of itself.
01:05:37.860 The separation of powers is such a brilliant idea and the way it's what's being abused right now, I believe, by Nancy Pelosi.
01:05:45.440 But we've heard of abuses of it before.
01:05:49.000 But why exactly are the American people are starting to, you know, fall away from wanting this to happen?
01:05:56.360 Well, it's because we can see what's happening.
01:05:58.920 The American people, even the casual observer, knows a load when they see it.
01:06:03.420 And this is nothing but a load.
01:06:05.480 It is a load of, yeah, it's just a load.
01:06:08.240 Let's leave it there.
01:06:09.400 It is.
01:06:11.220 It's a horrible thing that's happening, not because it's Donald Trump.
01:06:16.380 It's a horrible thing because it doesn't need to happen, nor should it.
01:06:20.540 The very standard set.
01:06:22.200 And I will blame traditional media to a large extent.
01:06:25.220 The CNNs and the MSNBCs, ABC, NBC, CBS, their lack of anything positive about this president, giving him credit for anything he's ever done, the seething anger and hatred, they have become a part of the story.
01:06:38.040 But when you look at the narrative of what's happening, and I want you to think about American journalism in anything else, and it's controversy.
01:06:45.220 Controversy sells.
01:06:46.220 We all know that.
01:06:47.260 There's nothing wrong with that.
01:06:48.800 When you look at, I'm a big sports guy, so I use a lot of sports analogies, when you look at rivalry games, whether it's college football or professional football, they're better attended and they're better viewed on television.
01:07:01.940 The ratings are higher because there's controversy there.
01:07:05.220 When you see even a rivalry game where one team dominates the other, other than the hardcore viewers of the winning team, people aren't interested.
01:07:14.700 You can watch all of the Auburn, Alabama, or here, the Arizona State, Arizona games you want to.
01:07:23.080 You watch those hardcore Michigan, Ohio State.
01:07:27.500 Pick one.
01:07:29.320 You know, rivalry weekends around the NFL, when you see big rivalry teams play next week, the 49ers will play the Seahawks.
01:07:36.660 There's a lot on the line for both teams.
01:07:38.220 It's a division game, and both teams don't like each other.
01:07:40.500 That will be a very highly viewed game because of controversy.
01:07:46.040 So the American media, if it was just about ratings, would be pointing out the controversy.
01:07:51.120 This side of the aisle says this, but this side of the aisle says that.
01:07:54.820 We don't hear any of that.
01:07:57.160 We are seeing a one-sided view of things about this president.
01:08:01.100 But the American people are smart enough to see that what they've done is overplayed their hand.
01:08:05.400 For those of you out there that are poker players, you know exactly what I'm talking about.
01:08:09.980 A good poker player, a professional poker player, knows how you bet and watches how you play.
01:08:16.460 And when you make a big move, they can tell that you are overplaying your hand.
01:08:20.920 You've either gone in too far with a bluff, and now you can't get out of it.
01:08:24.520 You've got no choice but to go all the way.
01:08:27.820 You're overplaying your hand.
01:08:30.000 And they can smell that a mile away.
01:08:32.660 Well, the American people are no different.
01:08:34.420 If the Democrats, including Nancy Pelosi, months and months and months ago had said about this phone call with the president of Ukraine,
01:08:41.880 if they had said, that's unbecoming a president, that's not professional behavior, that's not presidential behavior,
01:08:48.080 they would have been able to convince a lot of the American people, because of the way the narrative has been,
01:08:53.520 that Donald Trump is not very professional and not very presidential.
01:08:56.980 That would have gone a long way with voters.
01:08:59.000 But when you start saying we need to throw him out of office for this, the American people shake their heads and say,
01:09:05.380 now you're just being political.
01:09:06.960 That's silly.
01:09:07.660 Again, a sports analogy.
01:09:10.600 That's like when there is a penalty against one of the players on your team, and you jump up to throw that guy out of the game,
01:09:16.620 people say, come on, throw him out of the game?
01:09:18.620 It was a penalty, but let's not get crazy.
01:09:22.560 And when we look at American politics, it's become so divided.
01:09:26.060 What's interesting is the disengaged voter, potential voter, but the disengaged American who says,
01:09:34.720 I'm not going to get involved in this process because the whole process is rigged and dirty,
01:09:38.500 and they're all crooks and they're all self-serving, which is a big chunk of the American adult population.
01:09:44.000 They're looking at this now, and they don't like what they see of one party.
01:09:47.880 Usually it's both.
01:09:49.280 Now they don't like what they're seeing from the Democrats.
01:09:51.580 In America, Republican, Independent, Democrat, and the way that the registered voters are out there,
01:09:57.880 Republicans and Democrats will be fighting like crazy for the votes of independents to win these national elections.
01:10:04.540 And when you look in these districts, 31 Democrats hold districts that were won by Trump and where Trump's support is growing.
01:10:13.040 How many of those that voted in favor of impeachment are in trouble?
01:10:17.420 And it's because the American public isn't necessarily in love with the Republicans.
01:10:21.880 The voting public is so sick and tired of things like this.
01:10:25.880 You couple that with a president that is going to be on the campaign trail with a ton of money to spend,
01:10:31.380 saying to the American voter, promises made, promises kept.
01:10:37.000 If you're in a better place now than you were four years ago or three years ago, vote for me.
01:10:42.900 And that's going to go a long way coupled with the insanity that's happening.
01:10:46.420 So Nancy Pelosi says, we don't know what we're going to do.
01:10:50.400 We're waiting for a fair trial there.
01:10:52.660 And there are not many Americans that believe it was a fair trial in the Judiciary Committee.
01:10:58.220 Jerry Nadler calling what seven witnesses and none of them were fact witnesses.
01:11:01.760 There is not an ounce of evidence in any testimony against this president of any crime.
01:11:07.600 None.
01:11:08.360 Zero.
01:11:08.840 But everybody hates him, so it's time to impeach him, which is pure fantasy number one and a horrible thing to say about the way the Americans voted.
01:11:20.340 You've got less than a year.
01:11:22.540 If he's that reviled, vote him out.
01:11:26.060 What's to stop you from voting him out?
01:11:30.620 Going to talk about Democrat candidates in a moment.
01:11:33.820 Elizabeth Warren getting herself in some hot water with the politically correct crowd.
01:11:37.980 And Bernie Sanders back on the campaign trail and touting the same old party line.
01:11:43.640 We're going to get to all that coming up here in a few moments.
01:11:45.560 Again, my name is Mike Broomhead, and this is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:11:47.980 You're listening to Glenn Beck.
01:11:56.500 You know, there's a saying in business, if you don't know your numbers, you don't know your business.
01:12:01.700 And now the rapid pace of business, it's hard to keep up with those numbers.
01:12:06.060 Can you afford to expand?
01:12:07.500 Can you make that new hire?
01:12:08.640 Can you launch a new ad campaign?
01:12:10.460 How's revenue pacing compared to last year?
01:12:13.260 Now, most companies don't have a clear picture of their finances,
01:12:15.600 so they make business decisions without that critical information based on their gut or worse, their fear.
01:12:21.020 And that's why many businesses fail.
01:12:22.820 Serious entrepreneurs and finance teams run on NetSuite by Oracle.
01:12:27.360 This is the world's number one cloud business system.
01:12:30.440 NetSuite offers a full picture of all of your finances all in one place in real time,

01:13:02.560 My name is Mike Broomhead.

01:13:06.600 Mike Broomhead, all one word on Instagram.
01:13:09.100 If you want to see some great blurry pictures, follow me on Instagram.
01:13:12.120 All the stuff we do here in Phoenix, Arizona.
01:13:14.460 Or the Mike Broomhead Show fan page on Facebook is where you can find me.
01:13:17.800 I'd love to keep in contact with you.
01:13:19.100 I do maintain my own account, so if you're seeing a tweet, it's from me.
01:13:22.140 I would love to keep in touch with you.
01:13:23.360 Again, it's at Broomhead Show on Twitter, not Mike Broomhead.
01:13:26.320 Look for at Broomhead Show.
01:13:28.700 Elizabeth Warren getting herself in hot water.
01:13:30.940 Her campaign says that Asian, Indian, and Middle Eastern billionaires are white.
01:13:35.560 They have no comment on this, and neither do I really,
01:13:37.900 but it's just the politically correct world they live in.
01:13:40.540 They try to out-politically correct themselves, and she's just falling all over the place.
01:13:45.060 Remember going after Pete Buttigieg because of the wine cellar?
01:13:49.000 Well, she's got a wine bottle from a big high-dollar fundraiser she did once before.
01:13:54.240 It's all riddled in hypocrisy.
01:13:55.840 But remember, she is going to wipe out all student loan debt.
01:14:01.180 She is going to cover everyone in America in a health care plan, and she's going to do all of this and only tax billionaires.
01:14:11.240 Her and Bernie Sanders have decided that billionaires are wrong.
01:14:15.420 No one should be a billionaire, so we're going to wipe out your billions, which is really funny to me because those are the job creators and the entrepreneurs, and it's just a farce.
01:14:26.320 But so we did the math on the Mike Broomhead show, on my show, and I want to give it to you here on the Glenn Beck program.
01:14:34.140 If you take the wealth of every billionaire on the planet, which we can't, but if you were to take that wealth from them,
01:14:41.620 it's somewhere in the neighborhood of just under $10 trillion.
01:14:45.440 That's if you confiscate it for one-time use.
01:14:49.900 You couldn't pay for Elizabeth Warren's health care plan, and including what we spend in health and human services and add in health care for all, you couldn't fund it for two years.
01:15:00.120 That's what the wealth of every billionaire on the planet confiscated.
01:15:05.740 So how is she only going to tax billionaires to pay for her plan?
01:15:09.420 Well, she isn't, which is why she is now backing off of this mandated health care for all.
01:15:16.700 She wants people to have a choice, not Bernie Sanders.
01:15:19.840 Bernie Sanders is still being a hardliner on you're going to get it.
01:15:23.100 What I find interesting is the biggest support for Bernie Sanders seems to be the very young, the 18 to 24-year-olds.
01:15:30.120 What they don't understand until it's explained to them, and there's a couple of the campus reform and others that have done the videos where they talk to young people,
01:15:38.420 where there are young people that actually said to the interviewer,
01:15:40.760 there's nothing you're going to say to me that's going to waver my support for socialized medicine, for health care for all,
01:15:47.940 until they find out they have to pay for it.
01:15:50.740 And when they're told they have to pay for it, they don't like it anymore.
01:15:54.300 When they find out the costs, when they find out you can't have private insurance anymore, they don't like it anymore.
01:16:02.700 Bernie Sanders has offered family persuasion guide for the holidays.
01:16:08.280 It turns out that you can go online and get a family persuasion guide.
01:16:13.980 So it's up to us as students and young people to make the moral appeal to our older relatives to join us in voting for Bernie,
01:16:21.980 because let's face it, they won't be around for as long to deal with the consequences of this election, but we will be.
01:16:29.540 Students for Bernie, family persuasion guide.
01:16:32.380 And then when you go to them and don't even talk about political parties, you just explain what is involved just in the health care plan.
01:16:41.680 They hate it.
01:16:42.860 They don't realize that they're the ones who will be hit the hardest.
01:16:45.620 A young person that's 10 feet tall and bulletproof.
01:16:48.480 When I was young and, you know, I was a young guy living by myself and didn't have a care in the world.
01:16:55.080 I didn't have health insurance.
01:16:56.760 I was 10 feet tall and bulletproof.
01:16:59.100 I had employer offered insurance and I didn't take it.
01:17:02.380 Because I wasn't going to spend a couple hundred bucks a month.
01:17:04.580 I would say if I get injured, if I had a catastrophic, maybe I had a catastrophic plan in case something really bad happens to me.
01:17:11.340 Well, young people don't understand you're going to pay for health insurance.
01:17:15.260 You're going to start paying something.
01:17:17.360 You're paying nothing now.
01:17:18.920 And you're going to be forced into a health care plan you don't want.
01:17:22.580 So they love Bernie Sanders because they believe I'm going to pay for their health insurance.
01:17:27.680 But I'm not.
01:17:28.940 I'm going to pay for a lot more of it than I want to.
01:17:31.100 But they're going to pay and they're going to be forced into the program.
01:17:37.440 It is it is an education that people need.
01:17:43.680 And Bernie Sanders and these students are putting out a guide.
01:17:47.560 So your children come home from college with their Bernie Sanders family persuasion guide.
01:17:53.060 It's going to be a great holiday, isn't it?
01:17:54.880 How is Christmas and Hanukkah going to be around your house?
01:18:00.180 But they are touting an old tired message that the economy doesn't work for everyone.
01:18:04.840 I've mentioned this before on the program.
01:18:06.520 One of the best books you're going to read as a conservative to understand the mindset of the opposition is the Communist Manifesto.
01:18:13.320 And I'm not calling all liberals communists.
01:18:15.200 But if you look at the way they run their campaigns, there is a part of the Communist Manifesto called the immiseration of the proletariat.
01:18:22.160 We understand the two groups of people, the bourgeoisie and the proletariat, the working class of the proletariat.
01:18:27.700 And the immiseration of the proletariat is this.
01:18:30.700 If people don't realize because of their ignorance how bad they have it, it's our job to describe to them how bad they have it.
01:18:38.980 There is actually the teachings that you go and tell people they're not as good as you think.
01:18:43.760 Why do you think your raises and bonuses were called crumbs by Nancy Pelosi?
01:18:48.840 That's the immiseration of the proletariat.
01:18:51.280 Working class was feeling pretty good about those raises.
01:18:54.140 Felt pretty good about that.
01:18:56.360 Crumbs.
01:18:56.800 I tell you, not as good as you think.
01:19:00.560 Coming up next hour, the FISA judge and the review of FISA.
01:19:06.440 What a judge is now telling the FBI they must do with former past cases and moving forward.
01:19:12.540 It is a compelling story that has a lot to do with crime in America and will for a very long time.
01:19:18.320 All that coming up again.
01:19:19.560 My name is Mike Broomhead.
01:19:20.900 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:19:26.800 You're listening to Glenn Beck.
01:19:30.480 The fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
01:19:40.280 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:19:42.620 You know, it is interesting that only a segment of America is concerned about what happened in this IG report where Horowitz did an investigation into the investigation to the Trump campaign.
01:19:53.060 This is something that every American says they are terrified of, which is abusive power by the most powerful people in the country, which you tell me who has more power to arrest and to investigate than the FBI and the DOJ.
01:20:07.880 And when you have leadership in both agencies, both of them doing the wrong thing, every American should be worried.
01:20:14.260 If they can do this to a candidate for president, they can do this to anyone.
01:20:18.720 They would have gotten away with this had it not been that Donald Trump got elected president.
01:20:24.040 We would have never known that this happened.
01:20:25.840 So exactly what at Horowitz find out and why didn't they see this coming?
01:20:30.280 We talked about this or I talked about this over a year ago.
01:20:33.780 This is something that should concern every single American out there.
01:20:38.640 And it's the fact that leadership in the FBI was able to dupe a court into surveilling an American for political purposes.
01:20:46.180 It should worry every one of us.
01:20:48.460 And we're going to find out.
01:20:49.420 We're going to talk now about how serious this is, because the ripple effect and long term effects of this are just now being shown.
01:20:56.820 Talk about that here in just a moment.
01:20:58.240 I'm Mike Broomhead, and this is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:21:03.740 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:21:05.980 You know, there's a saying in business.
01:21:07.500 If you don't know your numbers, you don't know your business.
01:21:10.680 And now the rapid pace of business, it's hard to keep up with those numbers.
01:21:15.060 Can you afford to expand?
01:21:16.740 Can you make that new hire?
01:21:17.880 Can you launch a new ad campaign?
01:21:19.680 How's revenue pacing compared to last year?
01:21:22.500 Now, most companies don't have a clear picture of their finances.
01:21:24.840 So they make business decisions without that critical information based on their gut or worse, their fear.
01:21:30.240 And that's why many businesses fail.
01:21:32.040 Serious entrepreneurs and finance teams run on NetSuite by Oracle.

01:22:05.900 You know, the fact of the matter is, when we look at this FISA case, every American should be concerned.
01:22:20.100 We should be able to pull Donald Trump's name out of it, which I've been saying for a very long time.
01:22:23.720 My name is Mike Broomhead.
01:22:24.660 I'm in for Glenn today.
01:22:26.400 And I want to thank you for being a part of the show.
01:22:28.700 Merry Christmas.
01:22:29.840 The important things that are facing this country right now, when the president said drain the swamp, this is a part of what the president said.
01:22:36.360 But if I could, and I don't know that I can do it, I wish I could remove Trump from the equation because of the polarizing figure that Donald Trump has become.
01:22:45.540 The left has a seething hatred for him.
01:22:47.500 And you understand when you hate something, you can never do anything wrong to them and they can never do anything right.
01:22:52.560 But what happened to President Trump, what we're seeing now, what's been revealed in a report, and there's some very important things about this IG report that America must understand.
01:23:03.000 Number one, he had no arrest nor subpoena powers.
01:23:07.260 No one had to talk to him.
01:23:09.300 The only people that spoke with him were people willing to speak.
01:23:13.600 And what he found was damaging.
01:23:15.860 But when you look at what's happening or moving forward, there is a criminal investigation going on right now.
01:23:22.660 The U.S. Attorney's Office is looking at this.
01:23:24.920 And they do have subpoena and arrest powers.
01:23:30.040 You are going to see very prominent figures lawyer up.
01:23:33.560 When the IG report came out, the first thing James Comey said was, this vindicates me.
01:23:38.380 Now, Lindsey Graham asked Horowitz under testimony, is he vindicated?
01:23:44.920 To which the Inspector General said, this doesn't vindicate anyone who ever touched it.
01:23:50.540 So then James Comey went on with Chris Matthews, or I'm sorry, Chris Wallace, and said, you know, he's right and I was wrong.
01:23:59.580 He didn't take any blame.
01:24:01.360 He pleaded ignorance.
01:24:02.800 He said, I was ignorant.
01:24:03.620 I didn't know this was happening.
01:24:05.000 It shouldn't have happened.
01:24:05.820 Well, when you look at the investigation, there's a reason why James Comey and Andrew McCabe ran that investigation out of headquarters.
01:24:14.800 It was so they could dot the I's and cross the T's, correct?
01:24:18.780 They wanted to make sure that everything was done right.
01:24:22.420 Everything was done right.
01:24:25.420 And it wasn't.
01:24:27.020 This was political from the word go.
01:24:29.720 And I don't necessarily, when I say political, do I mean Republican, Democrat.
01:24:33.440 I think this was self-preservation by McCabe and Comey.
01:24:37.920 They had to investigate Hillary.
01:24:39.800 They had to investigate Trump.
01:24:41.260 And they didn't want their names on a bad report when dealing with the one that would become president.
01:24:46.460 And they guessed, like everybody else guessed, that it was going to be Hillary.
01:24:50.520 Now, without going into all of the other parts of this, look at just what happened in the request for a FISA order.
01:24:57.120 Remember, they went to a FISC or a foreign intelligence surveillance court with a boatload of shoddy evidence and claimed it was all true.
01:25:06.100 As a matter of fact, during the time when the media in America was defending all of this before they had any of the proof either way.
01:25:14.680 One of the CNN anchors said they the dossier was used as evidence.
01:25:20.960 They must have verified it.
01:25:23.480 Because they wouldn't do it.
01:25:24.900 They wouldn't use it if it wasn't verified.
01:25:27.060 That's not how they operate.
01:25:29.080 That's not how they're supposed to operate.
01:25:31.560 A little insight into FBI.
01:25:34.660 Former agents with the FBI.
01:25:36.840 There is a very strong fraternity of former agents.
01:25:41.620 They take the character and the honesty of the agency very seriously.
01:25:49.240 These are people that are very well educated, intelligent people that could have done a lot of other things and made a lot more money.
01:25:56.100 But they dedicated their career, well, since 9-11 in counterterrorism and keeping America safe.
01:26:02.380 And doing so within the confines of the Constitution, they take that very seriously.
01:26:07.460 The reputation of FBI matters to former agents of the FBI.
01:26:13.680 And when you see former agents with a seething anger toward what James Comey did for political purposes, they can't stand it.
01:26:23.200 Start at the beginning of the fact that they ran it out of headquarters and not out of a field office.
01:26:27.560 James Comey is not an investigator.
01:26:29.600 James Comey is a bureaucrat.
01:26:31.040 He had no business touching an investigation, number one.
01:26:34.680 First and foremost, without a doubt, that never happens, nor should it happen, and this is why.
01:26:41.580 But when you look at what they did to Carter Page, they took a document known as the dossier that was riddled with lies.
01:26:50.160 The dossier was written by a man named Christopher Steele.
01:26:53.180 Christopher Steele was a British agent and a Russia expert.
01:26:57.860 He was hired to go to the Russians to get dirt on Donald Trump.
01:27:04.400 He wrote things in that dossier that were so untrue.
01:27:09.240 But it's opposition research.
01:27:12.380 So when Hillary Clinton's campaign says sources say this and sources say that, Donald Trump was doing horrible things with prostitutes in a hotel in Moscow.
01:27:20.620 Well, the president's lawyer comes out and hands over his passport and says he wasn't even in Moscow when they say this happened.
01:27:27.580 That's a political fight.
01:27:30.340 When you use that dossier as evidence to surveil an American, you are swearing to a judge that this is stuff you've proven.
01:27:37.700 They didn't vet this dossier.
01:27:39.760 One, not one word of it, not one word.
01:27:42.480 So if you have neighbors, if one of your neighbors said of you to the police, I think my neighbor is a drug dealer.
01:27:56.040 I've been writing down the fact that there are kind of the strange cars show up at the house and they don't stay very long and they stay come at all hours of the night.
01:28:03.540 And I'm pretty sure that they're dealing drugs.
01:28:06.100 Here is a list of the cars I've seen in their driveway in the past 48 hours.
01:28:11.120 So a police officer takes that information from you and goes to a judge and swears to a judge that this is the comings and goings that they've seen.
01:28:19.100 And there's a reason now to surveil you either electronically or to search warrant for your house.
01:28:25.780 That would be the most absurd thing you could imagine.
01:28:30.160 But what they've done is exactly that.
01:28:33.540 Those police officers take your information, they vet those license plates, they do their own surveillance, they do their own homework, and they go with evidence to a judge to get a search warrant if it's warranted.
01:28:43.620 They don't take someone else's word for it.
01:28:46.280 And that's exactly what happened in this FISA case.
01:28:50.100 The long-term effects of this coming up in a moment.
01:28:52.680 Again, if you're a social media user, I am on Twitter, at Broomhead Show is where you can find me on Twitter.

01:30:15.980 Hey, thanks again for being here.
01:30:30.300 So much, so much of this is important because of the effects it could have on every American.
01:30:34.600 We are all worried about government overreach.
01:30:36.740 We have been for a long time.
01:30:38.580 I did my mea culpa.
01:30:39.680 If you remember after 9-11, we had the Patriot Act, and I was someone that said, hey, listen, if we are going to intercept inbound calls from known terrorist countries and it helps protect America, what are we worried about?
01:30:50.760 I was one of the people that said that.
01:30:52.660 And then I kept hearing from my friends and others that said, you know, the long-term effects and the abuse of power and unintended consequences, it's going to be abused, and you're going to see this get out of control.
01:31:03.100 And sure enough, that's what happened.
01:31:05.600 I want us to be safe.
01:31:07.100 I would do anything I could to help keep us safe.
01:31:09.900 But you cannot invade the privacy of innocent people.
01:31:13.540 It's almost like the Second Amendment argument.
01:31:15.600 You can't take my guns to stop bad people from doing bad things.
01:31:19.560 That's silly.
01:31:22.100 But the invasion of privacy we're seeing when it comes to FISA, I mentioned earlier in the show, the FISA courts were not, or the FISC,
01:31:31.120 the FISA Act, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, came out of the 1970s, not after 9-11.
01:31:39.400 This was designed because the American government was surveilling people without any oversight, and it wasn't an American principle.
01:31:48.000 So FISA itself was designed to make sure something like this never happened.
01:31:51.880 The only reason why this happened is because the people that were supposed to do the checks and balances were the ones that did it.
01:32:01.980 But when James Comey and Andrew McCabe give interviews because they're not under oath,
01:32:07.080 and they talk about how shocked they are at the bad thing that happened, they caused it to happen.
01:32:13.500 They will be lawyering up in this criminal investigation.
01:32:16.520 Now, to be warned, the criminal investigation that's going on through the U.S. Attorney's Office,
01:32:22.320 we're not going to hear anything probably until mid-year, maybe May, before that investigation is over.
01:32:26.880 But that will result in charges, or maybe not.
01:32:30.280 But that's the direction it's going.
01:32:31.920 As a matter of fact, James Comey and Brennan, the CIA director, the former CIA director,
01:32:38.280 did anybody ever wonder from the beginning of this presidency why Brennan was such a vocal critic of Donald Trump
01:32:47.460 and why he was such a critic and wanted him impeached?
01:32:51.420 I think we're finding out why.
01:32:53.380 Because now as the stones are beginning to turn over, we're finding out that this guy needs a dark place to hide.
01:32:59.600 That he may have been involved in something.
01:33:02.200 And what's funny, you can see them beginning to turn.
01:33:06.640 Now the comments are, we were doing what we were ordered to do.
01:33:12.740 Well, all of you veterans out there, thank you for your service.
01:33:15.840 You understand that you are only required, a matter of fact, you are mandated to only follow a lawful order.
01:33:22.640 You are not a robot.
01:33:23.960 And as a member of the United States military, following an illegal order does not exonerate you from charges criminally.
01:33:30.200 If you are ordered by one of your superiors to do something illegal, to do something abusive,
01:33:35.480 if you're ordered, it doesn't protect you.
01:33:39.320 You are only to obey a legal order.
01:33:41.980 And here we are looking at something as ominous as surveilling an American citizen.
01:33:49.660 And it was the very people that were supposed to be the checks and balances that went and got the order.
01:33:55.360 This is an ugly time, and the long-term effects are this.
01:34:01.700 A judge in the FISC, the presiding judge of the FISC, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Courts,
01:34:07.080 on December 5th ordered the FBI to review all cases that this FBI lawyer that changed an email ever worked on.
01:34:15.000 The long-term effects of this are this.
01:34:18.600 The FBI will not be trusted.
01:34:21.140 The FBI is going to have to, and there's a lot of people that say that's a good thing.
01:34:25.100 And it may be.
01:34:26.860 It may be that we need to make sure that the oversight is not a rubber stamp because we trust people.
01:34:32.440 Maybe this is such a serious thing in surveilling an American that we need to have verification.
01:34:37.920 But you know as well as I do in a working relationship with someone, even in an official capacity, you trust people's word.
01:34:45.500 And when the FBI director and very high ups in the DOJ go to a judge and say, this is evidence,
01:34:53.620 I don't think a judge really at that stage has any reason to doubt that it's evidence.
01:34:59.520 But what we found out is that this was done by the highest level of people at the FBI and the DOJ.
01:35:07.920 Just one bit of information that maybe people aren't aware of at this point.
01:35:11.620 I'm guessing you are the fact that one of the, the higher ups of DOJ that worked on this case, his name is Bruce or the fact that Bruce or his wife,
01:35:23.160 Nellie or worked for fusion GPS as a Russia expert and helped Christopher Steele with the dossier should be all you need to know about the illegitimacy of this entire dossier.
01:35:35.340 That when I say fired, that's not the proper term that FBI uses when they terminate, separate, whatever you want to call it, an informant, because they're not paid, so they're not fired.
01:35:47.880 But when they stop using an informant, it's unheard of that the DOJ or the lawyers continuing, continue a relationship with the informant.
01:35:57.180 The FBI got rid of fire, whatever you want to call it, Christopher Steele as an informant.
01:36:03.260 But he continued a relationship with Bruce or at the Department of Justice.
01:36:07.180 And why was Bruce or not?
01:36:11.920 Did he not recuse himself because his wife was working on the writing of the dossier?
01:36:17.960 The long term effects for Americans should really be front and center.
01:36:24.420 This investigation is going to have a long term effect on America.
01:36:28.840 And I mean this sincerely, but respectfully, forget Donald Trump, forget defending Donald Trump.
01:36:35.480 He can defend himself.
01:36:39.440 Any American that this happens to Carter Page, Donald Trump, we as Americans should be concerned about.
01:36:45.780 If you pull Donald Trump's name out of impeachment or you pull Donald Trump's name out of this report, it becomes crystal clear to anybody because the emotions are gone that the government overreached in this investigation into Carter Page.
01:37:02.100 And what it ended up giving us was the Mueller investigation, two years, tens of millions of dollars in investigation and a Mueller report that found no wrongdoing.
01:37:12.520 So you tell me, as much as Mueller did not like Donald Trump, it was pretty vocal about it, that he couldn't find any crimes committed by the president.
01:37:24.120 As a matter of fact, the Mueller report said no one in the Trump campaign or any American, as far as they could find, colluded with the Russians.
01:37:31.800 Two years and tens of millions of dollars.
01:37:36.080 But how about the fact that Carter Page was surveilled and he'll never get his reputation back?
01:37:43.700 And the higher ups in the government don't care.
01:37:46.840 They will ruin anyone associated with Donald Trump.
01:37:50.780 Look what they did to Brett Kavanaugh, Brett Kavanaugh, by all accounts and the people that know him, they they looked at his life under a microscope many times.
01:38:00.580 You know how many FBI background checks that man has passed and none of this ever came up.
01:38:05.480 But in the 11th hour, Dianne Feinstein makes an accusation of rape and that man's children, his daughters, watch their father be accused of rape.
01:38:15.800 And witness after witness after witness that knew him came forward and said he is a good man.
01:38:22.400 And I say this very honestly, if they had looked into my background, they would never find sexual assault in my background ever.
01:38:31.580 But I can guarantee you this, there would have been a lot less kind things that came to light and a lot more things I don't want you to know that came to light.
01:38:40.560 If they looked into my background, he was a Boy Scout compared to 90 percent of Americans.
01:38:45.800 And they raked him over the coals because he was a Trump nominee.
01:38:49.600 You look what's happening to William Barr.
01:38:51.760 William Barr, this is the second time he has served honorably as the attorney general, except this time he works for Donald Trump.
01:38:58.580 And now when he says something like he says he is now his character, he has no character.
01:39:04.040 He has been corrupted.
01:39:05.640 He is a corrupt politician.
01:39:08.540 Never mind how loyal Eric Holder was and vocally was to Barack Obama.
01:39:12.740 That was just him doing his job and being a good attorney general.
01:39:16.620 But look what they've done to the character of William Barr.
01:39:20.760 They will destroy anything or anyone they have to.
01:39:25.820 Carter Page doesn't matter.
01:39:27.740 That was the guy.
01:39:29.700 Exculpatory evidence.
01:39:31.140 They deleted the email.
01:39:32.480 They altered the email.
01:39:34.260 Would have ended the surveillance on Carter Page.
01:39:36.900 So we've gotten the Mueller investigation.
01:39:39.140 We've gotten the Mueller report.
01:39:40.580 After that ended, Mueller said, we didn't investigate the president for obstruction of justice.
01:39:45.660 So that's what Adam Schiff and the other five committees in the House were going to do that led us to where we are now with impeachment.
01:39:52.100 And it all began with illegal surveillance and a political maneuver.
01:39:57.880 However, the long term effects of what's happening in America right now depends on what happens with articles of impeachment.
01:40:04.440 If Nancy Pelosi holds on to articles of impeachment and this dies or if it goes over to the Senate and this is all blown out of the water, America can be repaired.
01:40:17.140 But what she's doing right now is is is is despicable, dragging this out for as long as they can into an election year.
01:40:27.840 It is it is an amazing thing that's happened.
01:40:30.720 And this starting with the surveillance of Carter Page has been a horrible thing for America.
01:40:35.100 A comment and conversation about the Second Amendment and what's happening in the state of Virginia, what's going on and how how absolutely hypocritical it is for the for Virginia to do what they're doing, considering where they've come from.
01:40:53.200 We're going to do that coming up here in just a few moments.
01:40:55.820 Again, my name is Mike Broomhead.
01:40:57.420 I'm from Phoenix, Arizona.

01:42:22.020 Thanks again for being here.
01:42:23.060 My name is Mike Broomhead, Phoenix, Arizona.
01:42:24.780 And for just a bit longer for Glenn.
01:42:27.100 And a shameless plug for a moment.
01:42:29.340 You want to get a great gift for someone.
01:42:30.520 I wrote a book a year and a half ago.
01:42:31.840 It's called If You're Going to Be Dumb, You Better Be Tough.
01:42:33.720 Just some advice I wanted for my kids and my grandkids.
01:42:36.840 Simple, very easy to read.
01:42:38.580 You want to check it out.
01:42:39.320 You can find it anywhere you buy books.
01:42:40.560 It's called If You're Going to Be Dumb, You Better Be Tough.
01:42:44.740 When you look at what's happening in America, we are more divided now than we have been since the Civil War.
01:42:51.020 And many people keep saying that.
01:42:52.600 I hope we are not on the verge of violence.
01:42:54.600 I don't necessarily believe that we are.
01:42:57.240 But what's happening in the state of Virginia and their governor or the Commonwealth of Virginia, they're doubling down on their gun control, gun confiscation plans.
01:43:08.600 One of the scariest things I've heard, and I've been in talk radio professionally as a full time for 10 years now.
01:43:16.360 One of the scariest things I ever heard was one of the people, one of the members of the state legislature, the assembly there in Virginia, saying I'm not the governor.
01:43:27.140 But what started out in Virginia as, let me back up a moment, a couple of counties saying, hey, if we have sanctuary cities that don't comply with federal regulations or help the federal government with illegal aliens,
01:43:40.800 we are going to be a Second Amendment sanctuary county where we aren't going to help with gun confiscation.
01:43:48.040 And it grew so that now 90 percent of the counties in Virginia are sanctuary counties.
01:43:55.560 And one legislator saying I'm not the governor, but the governor may have to call up the National Guard to enforce these laws.
01:44:03.560 And it made such big news that they reached out to the National Guard in Virginia and the leader of the Virginia National Guard replied, no comment.
01:44:13.420 Not that'll never happen, but no comment.
01:44:16.960 And we are very military heavy in the state of Arizona, guardsmen and reserves, guardsmen and women and reserves here, a lot of them.
01:44:24.660 We have Luke Air Force Base and Davis Monthon.
01:44:27.260 And so there's a big military and a huge veteran presence in the state of Arizona.
01:44:31.760 But it's I believe this is typical of the rest of the country.
01:44:35.020 I am immersed in the National Guard.
01:44:37.920 I do a lot of work with the military organizations and veterans groups here.
01:44:41.060 It's a privilege to be able to do that.
01:44:45.300 The idea for a guardsman or a guardswoman to be called up and be ordered by their commanding officers to take up arms and go door to door and confiscate the weapons of their neighbors.
01:44:59.020 Can you imagine putting those people, our neighbors that we hold in such high esteem?
01:45:07.260 I'm sure it's this way where you are, but I know where I am.
01:45:10.200 There have been multiple deployments by the National Guard out of Arizona.
01:45:14.580 These are people that live regular lives and have volunteered for service and they get called up for their duty.
01:45:19.220 And their families are separated sometimes 11 months, 18 months at a time, multiple times over the last few years, last 15 years.
01:45:29.960 And they do it because it's their duty.
01:45:32.060 They do it because it's what they signed up for.
01:45:34.020 And we hold them in the highest regard.
01:45:35.840 And now it's possible in Virginia that they are going to call up the National Guard.
01:45:42.480 They didn't say no.
01:45:43.280 That's why I'm bringing this up.
01:45:45.320 Imagine someone in the Guard being told that their assignment, their order, and the governor of Virginia said it is constitutional.
01:45:54.980 They wouldn't make up unconstitutional laws, which is scary enough.
01:45:59.640 If they have to make two choices, either face court martial and jail or take up arms and go disarm the public.
01:46:11.300 It is a thought that the people that I know in the Guard, I believe, would refuse.
01:46:16.660 But I don't know that all of them would.
01:46:19.520 But now about the reverse for the rest of us.
01:46:21.760 First, I dedicate my volunteer hours with first responders because my brother is a cop and with the military and veteran groups because I lost a brother in Iraq at the very beginning of the war on Memorial Day of 03.
01:46:36.580 I'm the oldest.
01:46:37.480 My middle brother was killed in Iraq.
01:46:39.640 So I dedicate my free time and my service time to veterans.
01:46:44.280 Imagine I'm faced with either handing a government official my gun, a soldier, my firearm, or pointing it at them.
01:46:59.080 I want you to think about your government putting you in that position.
01:47:02.960 And I'm not calling for violence.
01:47:05.020 I will never call for violence.
01:47:06.320 I think I pray.
01:47:08.700 I honestly, this is not a cliche.
01:47:10.820 I pray that that never happens.
01:47:14.280 But you look at what the reality is in Virginia and what they're facing.
01:47:21.080 The Democrats have taken over in Virginia.
01:47:23.960 And it's not just the Democratic Party.
01:47:26.140 The very, very far left has taken over and they are ordering confiscation of guns.
01:47:31.480 The governor says he supports the Second Amendment.
01:47:34.060 But what he wants to do doesn't violate the Second Amendment.
01:47:37.260 When you have American citizens faced with either handing their guns over to the government or pointing them at the government,
01:47:44.280 you are showing exactly why the Second Amendment was written in the first place.
01:47:49.620 It wasn't hunting.
01:47:51.140 It wasn't protection of your home.
01:47:53.100 It was when a government gets oppressive.
01:47:55.740 The irony in all of this, and I have this on my Twitter account.
01:48:00.700 If you go to at Broomhead Show on Twitter, I tweeted this out the other day.
01:48:04.920 The Virginia State seal is a patriot standing on the chest of a tyrant, holding a spear in one hand and a sword in the other.
01:48:16.440 And the state motto of Virginia, when translated, is thus ever unto tyrants.
01:48:25.040 The irony in that is amazing.
01:48:30.520 And this is what's happening in the state of Virginia.
01:48:36.540 I know someone's going to say Commonwealth.
01:48:38.520 You look at what's going on.
01:48:42.620 And it should scare all of us.
01:48:45.660 I could give you all the Second Amendment arguments in the world that make reasonable sense.
01:48:49.640 You can't protect us by disarming me.
01:48:53.220 I am blessed to live in a state that has the least restrictive gun laws that I know of in the country.
01:48:58.380 In the state of Arizona, if you legally own a firearm, you can conceal it without a permit.
01:49:02.720 Put it in your pocket.
01:49:03.480 Put it under your seat.
01:49:04.340 Put it in your waistband.
01:49:05.660 You do not have to have a permit to carry a concealed weapon in the state of Arizona.
01:49:09.340 People were terrified when this law went into effect.
01:49:12.180 And there has not been bloodshed in the street.
01:49:14.080 There haven't been gunfights.
01:49:15.040 We are not the okay corral.
01:49:16.540 What you see are the same reasonable people that wore it on their hip or kept it visible in their car are just as reasonable when they're in their pocket or within the waistband of their pants.
01:49:28.140 Reasonable people with firearms are not the problem.
01:49:31.660 And yet the demonization of reasonable people is the problem.
01:49:36.100 You want to know why?
01:49:36.880 And this is not a commercial for the NRA.
01:49:38.640 I'm telling you why I am an NRA member is because this is the kind of thing that they lobby for.
01:49:45.300 When you hear the left complain about lobbyists, they love Planned Parenthood.
01:49:48.740 They hate the NRA.
01:49:50.820 They love the AARP.
01:49:53.760 They hate any right-wing lobbyists that they call right-wing.
01:49:57.480 They have no idea what the NRA does.
01:49:59.640 They have no idea of the NRA's training.
01:50:01.520 They have no idea that they are the biggest safety mechanism in the country when it comes to gun safety.
01:50:06.220 All of the things they do, they don't sell guns.
01:50:09.780 And no one that I know of has ever been an NRA member that was a mass shooter.
01:50:15.820 But we're not even arguing that part of it.
01:50:19.180 We're talking about the state of Virginia and the governor and the legislature flipping to not just Democrat, but very liberal Democrat.
01:50:27.240 And out of the gate, they are going to put American against American.
01:50:31.160 And they're not backing down.
01:50:32.900 The governor doubled down on this entire idea.
01:50:36.220 And it is something that should scare all of us.
01:50:42.660 I will defend my Second Amendment rights, I believe, you know, but I am also a law-abiding citizen.
01:50:47.960 So you're going to put me in a position where I'm going to have to fight for my constitutional rights and disobey a law and possibly go to jail for something that we all know is absolutely illegal.
01:51:01.000 And yet you look at what's happening in Virginia, and it's right in front of our faces.
01:51:07.760 I'm not trying to be overdramatic.
01:51:09.420 But when they're saying it's possible and the National Guard is saying no comment, why wouldn't they be terrified?
01:51:18.720 I never want to see a civil war in America.
01:51:23.680 I don't want to see anybody rise up violently against the government.
01:51:27.220 What I want people to understand is the American people are being put more and more in a box.
01:51:32.720 And they're being told we're being told by by AOC and by Bernie Sanders and by Elizabeth Warren that socialism is what the world wants.
01:51:40.720 We understand that it isn't.
01:51:42.000 And we have the power to vote.
01:51:43.740 If this doesn't wake up the voters in Virginia, I don't know what will.
01:51:48.440 I'm not talking about rising up with guns.
01:51:50.700 I'm talking about rising up at the ballot box in 2020.
01:51:53.620 Send a message in the House of Representatives.
01:51:56.640 Have Nancy Pelosi hand that gavel off to somebody else.
01:52:00.940 Make sure that there is more of a majority in the United States Senate that's going to work on the budget and work on the deficit with the president.
01:52:07.980 And in your local elections, wherever you are, make sure that you are electing people that are going to adhere to what you believe in.
01:52:15.120 The silent majority can't be silent anymore.
01:52:17.520 I don't know where you live, but if it happened in Virginia of all places, it can happen where you are.
01:52:25.020 It's complacent people that don't get involved.
01:52:29.920 One more segment to go here on the show.
01:52:31.800 I've got one more before I am done for the year.
01:52:34.800 So I'll be back in a moment.
01:52:35.700 My name is Mike Broomhead and this is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:52:39.660 You're listening to Glenn Beck.
01:52:44.740 You know, there's a saying in business.
01:52:46.440 If you don't know your numbers, you don't know your business.
01:52:49.980 And now the rapid pace of business, it's hard to keep up with those numbers.
01:52:54.320 Can you afford to expand?
01:52:55.740 Can you make that new hire?
01:52:56.880 Can you launch a new ad campaign?
01:52:58.700 How's revenue pacing compared to last year?
01:53:01.500 Now, most companies don't have a clear picture of their finances, so they make business decisions without that critical information based on their gut or worse, their fear.
01:53:09.260 And that's why many businesses fail.
01:53:11.080 Serious entrepreneurs and finance teams run on NetSuite by Oracle.

01:53:44.940 Hey, thanks again so much for being here.
01:53:52.420 My name is Mike Broomhead and I'm from Phoenix, live in Phoenix, Arizona.
01:53:55.860 And I always appreciate being in on Glenn's show.
01:53:58.860 It's always a privilege.
01:54:00.180 He's such a good friend and such a good guy who has been a mentor to me in talk radio.
01:54:05.240 And I wish I could explain to you how blessed I feel to have him as a friend, but to also for him to trust me with the people that listen to his program.
01:54:13.580 This time of year, I get very, very nostalgic about my life.
01:54:16.680 I'm blessed beyond measure.
01:54:18.620 And I mean that sincerely, that I take inventory of the people in my life that I have that I love so much.
01:54:23.840 My family will be joining me for the holidays this week.
01:54:27.280 And I can't tell you how much I admire my brother, my surviving brother.
01:54:32.420 He has been my hero my whole life and to be able to spend the holidays with him and with my nieces and nephew and my sister-in-law is an amazing privilege.
01:54:40.900 But when I look at, you know, we, the things we talk about on the show and we talk, they're important issues of the day that divide us politically.
01:54:50.000 The fact that Bernie Sanders campaign has put out a guide to persuade people, it shows you what the opposition is to a lot of us.
01:54:59.100 I truly have been focused on this time of year.
01:55:02.480 Every year I focus on how blessed my life is.
01:55:05.880 What you're seeing from the opposition is what consumes them, where you and I would say, I would say to you, because of my faith, this is the second most important day of the year in my faith, which is the birth.
01:55:17.840 We celebrate the birth of our Savior.
01:55:20.080 The most important day would be Easter when we celebrate the finishing of the promise.
01:55:24.900 And I'm not going to preach a sermon, but for me, this time of year makes me reminisce of just how blessed I have been in my life and what God has done for me.
01:55:35.220 And how little I've done in return, I believe, for others.
01:55:38.720 And it makes me want to dedicate my time to do more for people.
01:55:43.760 But we do talk about important issues that we're facing as a nation.
01:55:47.100 And we look at the opposition with Bernie Sanders telling people, young people, this is what you do when you go home for Christmas.
01:55:53.160 This is how you fight in the opposition.
01:55:56.260 And there is, this is their religion.
01:56:00.140 Government and socialism is their religion.
01:56:02.680 It's they believe that the salvation or the saving from every problem, the solution to every issue facing a person is a government solution.
01:56:15.200 Tax and spend.
01:56:16.400 We're going to fix.
01:56:17.360 We're going to take guns and make you safe.
01:56:19.060 We're going to tax the rich and give you an education.
01:56:21.760 We're going to do this to save you from that.
01:56:24.660 And we're going to fix racial problems and we're going to fix gender problems and we're going to fix sexuality problems.
01:56:30.100 And and we are the answer.
01:56:32.880 And government has never been the answer any place in the entire world.
01:56:35.920 And without preaching the sermon, I think for most of us that celebrate Christmas for what it is, we understand that this is the season where we celebrate the two solutions to problems.
01:56:45.420 And that is my prayer for myself and everyone else is that the focus that we can have, even for this short time of year, that we're kinder to other people because we understand that we've been given a kindness shown to us that we can never repay.
01:57:05.020 It may sound like a cliche to a lot of people, but no one knows my dark secrets like me and no one understands that I am as undeserving of any kind of kindness than God himself.
01:57:17.380 And so I would rather have this feeling throughout the year that I want to be able to be a little bit more considerate of other people because I myself know I've been given consideration that I didn't deserve.
01:57:30.360 And it when we talk politics, which I love talking about all the time, but we realize that for other people, that that is their religion, that is what they that is what they hold most sacred.
01:57:44.480 And we are up against a battle that we have to be educated.
01:57:48.680 We have to be able to defend.
01:57:50.320 And for those of you that are in ministry, you understand the apologetics course.
01:57:53.920 It's not just what I believe, but why I believe it.
01:57:56.020 That we must be wise.
01:57:59.880 We must be everything that is necessary.
01:58:03.800 In order to push back what's facing us right now, we talked about Virginia and the gun confiscation, which we know goes against every American principle, the taking away of your freedom, the destruction of the of the insurance industry, the Federal Bureau of Investigation abusing its power.
01:58:23.700 And it may not see the light of day and the complete unfairness of the United States media.
01:58:28.300 All of that is a truth in the minds of conservatives.
01:58:31.580 At the same time, we win when we discuss the issues.
01:58:37.560 So I want to thank everyone.
