The Glenn Beck Program - The Christmas Spirit ｜ 12⧸24⧸20

00:00:00.000 What you're about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.

00:00:24.000 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

00:00:30.000 Merry Christmas, America.

00:00:32.680 Hey, it is Justin Barclay from Wood Radio, W-O-O-D in Grand Rapids, Michigan,

00:00:38.160 and coming to you on a very Merry Christmas.

00:00:42.480 It was 50 here yesterday, last night, now walking the dog,

00:00:47.840 and now it's 23 and snowing.

00:00:52.460 A white Christmas.

00:00:54.500 I don't know what it's like where you are,

00:00:55.880 but we'll try to bring you a little bit of Christmas cheer this morning.

00:00:59.040 Lots going on, lots to talk about.

00:01:01.140 Pardons, vetoes, and more.

00:01:03.560 We'll get to it all coming up right after this on the Glenn Beck Program.

00:01:09.920 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

00:01:12.780 Welcome back to the Glenn Beck Program.

00:01:19.740 Justin Barclay filling in for Glenn today and a very Merry Christmas to you.

00:01:24.200 Yeah, it's been a wild year.

00:01:26.440 Lots going on, too, and coming up, actually, in the program.

00:01:31.160 We're going to talk with folks all over the country.

00:01:34.080 I want to talk to you, but I'm also going to reach out and talk to some people that you may not have heard of

00:01:38.640 or from just yet.

00:01:40.480 You're going to hear some news that you may not hear,

00:01:43.780 especially if you're watching the traditional sources, the networks, the usual suspects.

00:01:52.260 One of the most troubling things for me during this entire last year, the election process,

00:01:58.820 but also the pandemic, and we've seen this kind of creeping in for the last several years,

00:02:04.780 has really been this idea that who can you trust anymore?

00:02:09.440 Where do you go for, like, real credible information?

00:02:13.480 And especially in a time when you really need it, now more than ever.

00:02:20.780 I think we have been at war for quite some time.

00:02:26.780 Whether or not we recognize it, whether or not it's clearly stated,

00:02:32.900 there is a war on.

00:02:36.840 With information.

00:02:37.900 It's sort of this new generation, this next, you know, maybe this is World War III 1.00

00:02:43.280 and how it will be thought.

00:02:46.240 But World War III might be with strokes on keyboards.

00:02:52.840 We've seen these hacking issues that have plagued the government very recently here.

00:02:58.040 We've heard issues with the election, and in fact, coming up,

00:03:01.540 we'll talk with an attorney who says he has the goods.

00:03:04.900 You may have heard of this little tiny county in Michigan where I'm from.

00:03:08.360 It's up north.

00:03:08.940 It's called Antrim County.

00:03:11.200 Traditionally, it's a, well, it's a mostly Republican county.

00:03:15.860 A funny thing happened on election night.

00:03:19.180 Results came back, and it had swung big time for Joe Biden.

00:03:25.440 Well, not so fast.

00:03:27.380 There was an issue.

00:03:28.660 They said it was a human error.

00:03:30.600 But a Michigan attorney investigating because of a lawsuit file

00:03:36.140 that had nothing to do really with the presidential race.

00:03:39.360 It was something else.

00:03:42.380 He'll get into that and talk about why, but also what they found.

00:03:46.180 I mean, the real nitty-gritty, the data from those Dominion voting machines

00:03:55.600 that he thinks is a reason to question not just Little Antrim County here in Michigan,

00:04:01.520 but many other counties here in the state that use the same software,

00:04:07.880 and not just Michigan, in fact, but states throughout the entire country.

00:04:13.780 We've heard these names, but we haven't heard the rest of the story.

00:04:22.200 But you will today.

00:04:24.760 Coming up in the next hour, we'll talk with Michigan attorney Matt DiPerno.

00:04:29.000 I'm also going to get into some of these other stories that you'll hear.

00:04:33.220 Maybe you won't hear the full.

00:04:34.820 You'll hear stories, but you won't hear maybe the full reasons.

00:04:37.140 And the real, I don't know, the real story of what's happening.

00:04:43.400 So what was in, speaking of which, that gigantic pork-filled burrito.

00:04:52.460 I like, I think that sounds, it sounds delicious.

00:04:55.160 The pork-filled burrito that Congress passed the other day.

00:04:58.640 The president came out and said,

00:04:59.740 $600 isn't enough, I need $2,000.

00:05:02.240 And that's what most news organizations are focusing on.

00:05:05.120 In fact, Nancy Pelosi loved that idea.

00:05:08.540 She's jumping into action today.

00:05:10.780 She might even get a vote done in the House on $2,000.

00:05:16.720 But what was left out of the reporting is,

00:05:19.560 what was in that bill,

00:05:21.480 and what he said needs to happen

00:05:24.560 with the rest of those ingredients.

00:05:29.000 He wants to hold the pork.

00:05:31.400 You're not really hearing that full story.

00:05:33.060 We'll talk about that.

00:05:34.080 Plus, pardons galore.

00:05:36.680 Lots happening this time of year,

00:05:38.540 and people have questions about all of it.

00:05:41.160 We'll give you a chance to join us, in fact.

00:05:43.740 You can do that on the program today at any time.

00:05:46.440 The number is 888-787-BECK.

00:05:49.240 That's 888-787-BECK. 0.97

00:05:54.560 And you can also email me,

00:05:56.400 Justin at JustinBarkley.com.

00:05:57.900 But, you know, I'm on Twitter.

00:05:59.300 I'm on Facebook.

00:06:00.060 I'm all those places at Mr. Justin Barkley.

00:06:04.700 Before we kind of kick things off,

00:06:07.840 I want to talk about the year.

00:06:13.200 Well, the year it was.

00:06:15.640 And for a lot of folks,

00:06:17.780 you know, these issues that we're talking about,

00:06:19.460 election, pandemic,

00:06:20.820 I mean, they're so much deeper.

00:06:22.300 There's so much more real.

00:06:25.340 There's so much more raw than just those labels

00:06:27.680 and these ideas that,

00:06:29.180 well, we had an election.

00:06:30.060 There's some questions.

00:06:31.580 Yes, there's a pandemic.

00:06:33.840 For many folks,

00:06:35.240 I mean, there's 300,000.

00:06:40.800 Christmas just won't be the same this year.

00:06:44.140 Thousands here in Michigan,

00:06:45.620 thousands in New York,

00:06:46.660 lost loved ones,

00:06:47.720 needlessly, really,

00:06:48.640 because governors in certain states,

00:06:53.320 like our governor here,

00:06:54.300 Whitmer,

00:06:55.260 Cuomo in New York,

00:06:57.200 the man who may be

00:06:58.400 the attorney general,

00:07:01.520 sent sick patients,

00:07:04.480 elderly,

00:07:05.580 out of hospitals

00:07:06.580 and into nursing homes, 0.97

00:07:09.440 infecting

00:07:10.340 and killing 0.95

00:07:11.800 countless.

00:07:12.480 And I don't know,

00:07:13.900 I said thousands earlier,

00:07:15.140 but I say countless now

00:07:16.600 because we really don't have a full number

00:07:19.840 of how many people died

00:07:21.280 in New York

00:07:23.020 because there's still some questions

00:07:24.240 about who died where.

00:07:26.140 And do they have numbers

00:07:27.140 of the folks who were sent

00:07:28.120 from the nursing homes

00:07:29.100 then after they were sick

00:07:30.280 back to the hospitals

00:07:31.860 and then they died in the hospitals?

00:07:33.780 We don't have a clear count.

00:07:35.060 One thing I think

00:07:39.780 we have learned

00:07:40.420 over this last year

00:07:41.340 is that government agencies,

00:07:44.200 the government in general,

00:07:45.440 just

00:07:45.700 ain't very good

00:07:47.720 with counting in general.

00:07:50.500 We're seeing that

00:07:51.400 on all levels right now

00:07:52.540 when it comes to vote counts.

00:07:54.780 But those numbers

00:07:55.780 in those hospitals

00:07:56.680 and those numbers

00:07:57.320 in those nursing homes,

00:07:59.300 they're not very good

00:08:00.680 with really accounting

00:08:02.560 for certain folks,

00:08:04.120 especially when they want

00:08:05.260 to hide certain things.

00:08:07.300 We've seen a lack

00:08:08.280 of transparency.

00:08:11.440 And if there's

00:08:12.480 any appearance

00:08:14.580 of impropriety at all

00:08:16.460 in any election,

00:08:19.680 well, there never really should be.

00:08:25.040 That's another,

00:08:25.980 an issue we're facing.

00:08:28.440 It's not just this election

00:08:30.020 for those that want to fight

00:08:31.160 and say, hey,

00:08:32.160 let's get down

00:08:33.460 to the bottom of this.

00:08:34.360 We're going to fix this next time.

00:08:35.920 Moving forward.

00:08:36.700 No, no.

00:08:38.060 No, we fix this now.

00:08:39.580 We deal with this now

00:08:40.820 or it never gets done.

00:08:41.980 We know how government works.

00:08:44.960 We've seen it

00:08:45.640 over the last year.

00:08:47.320 One thing that I said

00:08:48.580 early on

00:08:51.540 into this whole thing

00:08:52.460 is that 2020

00:08:54.160 would be a year

00:08:56.620 of revelation.

00:08:57.540 what I meant by that

00:09:01.120 is that everything

00:09:02.140 would come to light.

00:09:06.580 We would see

00:09:07.900 all things exposed

00:09:11.040 and people too.

00:09:13.000 And you may start

00:09:13.800 to see this

00:09:14.440 in a lot of different ways

00:09:16.100 if you think back.

00:09:18.380 You know,

00:09:18.860 the good and the bad,

00:09:20.740 the real character

00:09:21.860 of people

00:09:23.480 is shining through

00:09:25.860 now more than ever.

00:09:29.140 That may be a good thing

00:09:30.560 in some

00:09:32.500 and in others,

00:09:33.580 well,

00:09:34.360 a little less desirable.

00:09:36.480 I'm really starting

00:09:37.420 to see that

00:09:38.020 in so many different ways.

00:09:41.920 Republicans

00:09:42.440 and Democrats,

00:09:43.980 that old school way

00:09:45.100 of looking at the world

00:09:46.040 of this

00:09:46.480 duality

00:09:47.660 and

00:09:47.860 one versus the other.

00:09:50.300 I think that whole charade

00:09:52.280 is starting to

00:09:52.960 fade

00:09:53.700 in the eyes

00:09:54.720 of some

00:09:55.040 as well.

00:09:57.780 I think we're starting

00:09:59.060 to see

00:09:59.700 in some ways

00:10:01.800 that it's

00:10:03.820 average folks

00:10:04.780 and maybe

00:10:05.920 you and I,

00:10:06.840 maybe we have

00:10:07.500 similar or different

00:10:08.560 political opinions,

00:10:09.720 but it's average folks

00:10:11.220 in a lot of ways

00:10:12.500 versus the swamp.

00:10:14.780 Versus the system.

00:10:16.020 And what's

00:10:19.120 interesting to me

00:10:20.040 is that we've been

00:10:21.420 divided more

00:10:22.380 than ever this year

00:10:24.160 with what we've seen

00:10:25.820 happening on the streets.

00:10:29.200 We've been divided

00:10:30.420 in so many different ways

00:10:31.740 by what we've been shown

00:10:33.160 through media,

00:10:36.840 on televisions,

00:10:39.180 and social media.

00:10:40.800 But I'm seeing

00:10:44.180 some interesting

00:10:46.940 pieces

00:10:47.580 of this puzzle

00:10:48.900 starting to come together

00:10:49.980 where folks

00:10:50.740 who

00:10:53.900 may support

00:10:55.260 radically

00:10:56.580 different causes

00:10:57.680 understand

00:10:59.300 one thing

00:11:00.080 and they have

00:11:02.240 this one thing

00:11:02.840 in common.

00:11:04.180 Government

00:11:04.940 is not their friend.

00:11:07.480 The system

00:11:08.760 that's currently

00:11:09.900 in place

00:11:10.540 ain't working.

00:11:15.600 In some ways

00:11:16.640 that's terrifying,

00:11:17.820 but in others

00:11:18.460 it's glorious.

00:11:20.480 Because

00:11:21.040 people are

00:11:22.220 waking up.

00:11:24.780 Now I don't know

00:11:25.760 what happens,

00:11:27.460 but I know

00:11:29.580 that people are

00:11:30.260 finding common ground.

00:11:32.540 I know that people

00:11:33.300 are finding

00:11:34.080 themselves agreeing.

00:11:36.160 The president

00:11:37.080 and Nancy Pelosi,

00:11:39.460 Ilhan Omar,

00:11:40.540 $2,000,

00:11:42.760 this $600

00:11:43.320 wasn't enough.

00:11:44.180 Now a lot of this

00:11:44.780 is politics.

00:11:47.820 But it's incredible

00:11:48.920 to me

00:11:49.400 all of the money

00:11:50.520 that we're sending

00:11:51.100 overseas

00:11:51.540 and we have people

00:11:52.340 right here

00:11:52.960 at home

00:11:53.640 who are hurting.

00:11:55.380 and the reason

00:12:00.300 they're hurting

00:12:00.860 maybe we don't

00:12:03.280 agree with.

00:12:05.600 Some say

00:12:06.320 the governors

00:12:06.860 had to do

00:12:07.320 what they had

00:12:07.700 to do

00:12:07.960 in several

00:12:08.360 states

00:12:08.740 and mine

00:12:09.200 many believe

00:12:10.580 that ours

00:12:10.980 went too far

00:12:11.740 and continues

00:12:13.380 to

00:12:13.660 shutting folks

00:12:14.620 down.

00:12:14.980 But the one

00:12:19.500 thing that we

00:12:20.060 all can't

00:12:20.520 agree with

00:12:21.060 as we start

00:12:23.340 to see things

00:12:24.100 kind of really

00:12:25.000 crystallize

00:12:26.980 with clarity

00:12:28.760 is that change

00:12:32.800 is happening.

00:12:33.900 After all,

00:12:34.660 it is time

00:12:35.360 for it.

00:12:37.180 What will it

00:12:38.020 look like

00:12:38.600 on the horizon?

00:12:40.240 We'll talk about

00:12:40.940 that coming up.

00:12:41.800 plus today

00:12:43.400 is a day of hope

00:12:44.600 and it's my prayer

00:12:47.360 that maybe

00:12:47.980 we'll find it

00:12:48.780 all together

00:12:49.300 a little bit today

00:12:50.160 as we search

00:12:51.940 for those things

00:12:54.040 that can bring us

00:12:55.660 together

00:12:56.020 on a Christmas Eve

00:12:58.580 in late December

00:13:00.840 in this

00:13:02.580 spectacular year

00:13:04.340 in so many

00:13:04.840 different ways.

00:13:06.580 We'll talk about

00:13:07.580 all of it

00:13:08.020 coming up

00:13:08.840 right after this

00:13:10.080 on the Glenn Beck

00:13:11.060 program.

00:13:11.800 Justin Barkley

00:13:18.240 in for Glenn Beck

00:13:18.860 today on the

00:13:19.240 Glenn Beck program

00:13:19.940 and I appreciate

00:13:20.840 you being here

00:13:21.420 as always.

00:13:21.940 You know,

00:13:22.160 one of the things

00:13:22.880 I was just

00:13:24.840 talking about

00:13:25.360 and I think

00:13:26.040 I'm going to share

00:13:26.480 throughout the

00:13:27.020 program today

00:13:27.740 is just kind

00:13:29.180 of my philosophy.

00:13:33.340 I always tend

00:13:34.800 and I don't

00:13:35.440 know if this

00:13:36.660 was something

00:13:37.120 that was

00:13:37.660 part of my

00:13:39.180 personality

00:13:39.840 ingrained in me

00:13:41.680 as a child.

00:13:42.340 I don't know

00:13:42.860 but I always

00:13:46.540 tend to look

00:13:47.560 for the good

00:13:50.420 in things.

00:13:55.780 It's a trait

00:13:56.680 that has

00:13:57.280 really come

00:13:58.700 in handy

00:13:59.140 this year.

00:13:59.680 I have seen

00:14:03.900 so many

00:14:06.500 instances

00:14:08.840 throughout the

00:14:09.440 entire year.

00:14:10.120 In fact,

00:14:10.480 it started

00:14:11.140 pretty rough.

00:14:16.220 I'm going to

00:14:16.840 tell you some

00:14:17.380 stories

00:14:17.940 about this

00:14:19.300 year

00:14:19.620 and on the

00:14:22.740 outside

00:14:23.260 seem

00:14:24.840 absolute

00:14:27.760 tragedies.

00:14:31.840 But through

00:14:32.740 it all

00:14:33.200 on closer

00:14:35.180 examination

00:14:35.900 I discovered

00:14:38.760 in many ways

00:14:40.080 were triumphs.

00:14:40.840 and I

00:14:42.880 think

00:14:43.340 it's

00:14:44.860 important

00:14:45.520 to take

00:14:49.280 a step

00:14:49.700 back

00:14:50.240 especially

00:14:51.080 on a day

00:14:51.620 like today

00:14:52.240 on Christmas

00:14:54.060 Eve

00:14:54.500 and look

00:14:56.420 for the

00:14:58.900 good.

00:15:04.360 So this

00:15:05.240 year started

00:15:05.980 off

00:15:06.500 kind of rough

00:15:10.180 about a

00:15:11.320 year ago

00:15:12.300 in fact

00:15:12.780 to the

00:15:13.140 day

00:15:13.460 I got

00:15:16.420 a phone

00:15:16.780 call

00:15:17.080 that I

00:15:18.260 didn't want

00:15:19.820 to get.

00:15:22.180 I was

00:15:22.900 sitting down

00:15:23.460 in this

00:15:23.800 chair

00:15:24.180 in this

00:15:25.320 room

00:15:25.660 to go

00:15:27.180 live

00:15:27.520 with you

00:15:28.040 for Glenn

00:15:29.900 on the

00:15:30.700 Christmas

00:15:31.060 program.

00:15:32.000 My first

00:15:32.440 time actually

00:15:33.020 filling in

00:15:33.540 for Glenn.

00:15:35.520 It was

00:15:36.200 something that

00:15:36.600 I had been

00:15:36.920 looking forward

00:15:37.440 to for

00:15:38.260 quite a long

00:15:38.860 time.

00:15:40.180 But in

00:15:41.200 that moment

00:15:41.860 all of the

00:15:43.020 excitement

00:15:43.560 everything

00:15:45.620 sort of

00:15:46.420 ramping up

00:15:47.020 for that

00:15:47.400 one moment

00:15:48.260 it all

00:15:48.640 kind of

00:15:49.960 faded away

00:15:50.700 when I

00:15:52.020 got the

00:15:52.380 call.

00:15:55.300 Very good

00:15:56.020 friend of

00:15:56.320 me.

00:15:57.780 He's

00:15:58.260 actually

00:15:58.680 not just

00:15:59.780 a friend

00:16:00.120 he's

00:16:00.360 family.

00:16:01.080 We're

00:16:01.260 not blood

00:16:01.740 but he's

00:16:02.500 my brother.

00:16:06.360 His

00:16:06.840 mother had

00:16:07.280 just gone

00:16:07.620 into the

00:16:07.960 hospital.

00:16:10.180 she was

00:16:14.420 having some

00:16:14.880 problems

00:16:15.240 breathing

00:16:15.640 and we

00:16:17.800 knew that

00:16:18.180 she needed

00:16:18.660 to get

00:16:18.900 looked at

00:16:19.420 but we

00:16:21.380 were pretty

00:16:21.840 confident

00:16:22.600 the day

00:16:23.280 before when

00:16:24.140 we left

00:16:24.620 that everything

00:16:26.060 was going to

00:16:26.480 work out

00:16:26.980 and that

00:16:27.920 she was in

00:16:28.300 the right

00:16:28.580 place.

00:16:31.480 Of course

00:16:32.140 we were

00:16:32.420 praying for

00:16:32.940 her but 0.74

00:16:34.700 we just

00:16:35.400 didn't

00:16:35.820 imagine

00:16:36.780 I think

00:16:37.240 in a

00:16:37.440 million

00:16:37.600 years

00:16:37.980 that we

00:16:39.040 would get

00:16:39.380 the call

00:16:39.740 that we

00:16:40.040 got.

00:16:41.900 So as I

00:16:42.300 sat down

00:16:42.720 to go live

00:16:43.240 with you

00:16:43.500 and in fact

00:16:43.940 it was just

00:16:44.680 moments

00:16:45.300 before I

00:16:46.460 went on

00:16:46.760 the air

00:16:47.160 I got

00:16:49.120 the call

00:16:49.500 that

00:16:49.720 she wasn't

00:16:51.980 going to

00:16:52.240 make it.

00:16:53.200 She was

00:16:53.860 in her

00:16:57.220 last few

00:16:58.280 moments

00:16:58.740 and as

00:17:06.020 I think

00:17:06.380 back on

00:17:07.620 this whole

00:17:07.980 year

00:17:08.380 that for

00:17:12.100 me was

00:17:12.600 one of the

00:17:13.040 moments that

00:17:13.700 started this

00:17:14.600 rollercoaster

00:17:15.920 of a ride.

00:17:20.420 I can't

00:17:21.280 tell you

00:17:21.600 everything that

00:17:22.180 I thought

00:17:22.600 of as I

00:17:23.400 did that

00:17:24.120 show and

00:17:24.440 in fact

00:17:24.820 I can't

00:17:25.440 really tell

00:17:25.960 you

00:17:26.300 everything that

00:17:27.580 happened.

00:17:28.560 I know

00:17:28.740 bits and

00:17:29.120 pieces.

00:17:29.740 I just

00:17:29.980 kind of

00:17:30.300 made it

00:17:30.620 through.

00:17:34.260 Because

00:17:34.900 in those

00:17:35.920 moments

00:17:36.440 I think

00:17:37.680 just like

00:17:38.980 we have

00:17:39.360 this entire

00:17:39.920 year

00:17:40.320 have the

00:17:41.860 ability

00:17:42.280 to see

00:17:44.080 what matters

00:17:44.840 most.

00:17:46.080 It's the

00:17:46.920 gift of

00:17:47.760 true clarity.

00:17:48.460 everything

00:17:53.660 else just

00:17:54.140 fades away.

00:17:55.220 All the

00:17:55.680 noise.

00:17:56.180 All the 0.79

00:17:56.480 nonsense.

00:17:57.220 And our

00:17:57.480 lives are

00:17:57.940 filled with

00:17:58.360 plenty of

00:17:58.820 it.

00:18:01.140 Got to

00:18:01.580 get the

00:18:01.900 kids to

00:18:02.340 this soccer

00:18:02.940 practice.

00:18:03.600 I got to

00:18:03.920 make sure that I

00:18:05.160 take care of

00:18:05.660 this for work.

00:18:06.260 Oh and I got

00:18:06.680 that list of

00:18:07.300 things I got to

00:18:07.880 do for the

00:18:08.320 house.

00:18:08.600 But all of 1.00

00:18:09.040 that garbage 1.00

00:18:10.680 it just 1.00

00:18:12.880 sort of

00:18:13.360 fades away.

00:18:16.100 And our

00:18:16.900 ability to

00:18:17.580 have the

00:18:18.020 perspective to

00:18:18.900 see what

00:18:19.520 really matters

00:18:20.340 most in

00:18:21.200 our times

00:18:22.100 of need

00:18:22.820 in the

00:18:23.360 emergencies

00:18:23.980 really

00:18:26.540 becomes

00:18:27.820 extra sharp.

00:18:33.380 I raced

00:18:34.380 over to the

00:18:35.140 hospital which

00:18:35.960 is just

00:18:36.380 blocks away

00:18:37.000 from where I

00:18:37.540 am now.

00:18:38.120 after I got

00:18:40.580 off the air

00:18:41.060 that day

00:18:41.600 and was able

00:18:43.720 to be there

00:18:44.320 with my

00:18:45.400 brother.

00:18:48.420 With his

00:18:49.200 mom.

00:18:50.500 And what

00:18:50.860 happened

00:18:51.360 next

00:18:51.880 I am just

00:18:55.080 so grateful

00:18:55.760 for.

00:18:57.220 It's just

00:18:58.000 one of the

00:18:58.860 many

00:18:59.460 miracles

00:19:00.580 that I've

00:19:02.420 witnessed over

00:19:03.040 the last

00:19:03.560 year.

00:19:04.260 Even in the

00:19:05.160 face of some

00:19:05.820 of the darkest

00:19:06.440 times.

00:19:07.140 These lighting

00:19:07.740 they just

00:19:08.960 pierce

00:19:09.780 through

00:19:10.600 these

00:19:12.380 moments

00:19:12.900 and I'll

00:19:14.600 share them

00:19:15.000 because I

00:19:15.360 think they're

00:19:15.700 so important.

00:19:17.180 Coming up

00:19:17.620 next we'll

00:19:18.980 pick up

00:19:19.460 after this.

00:19:21.460 This is

00:19:22.140 the Glenn

00:19:22.720 Beck

00:19:23.120 program.

00:19:26.380 Welcome

00:19:26.980 back it's

00:19:27.540 Justin

00:19:27.900 Barclay from

00:19:28.800 a wintry

00:19:29.480 West

00:19:30.060 Michigan.

00:19:31.860 And for

00:19:32.240 Glenn Beck

00:19:32.600 today on the

00:19:33.000 Glenn Beck

00:19:33.260 program and

00:19:34.300 a Merry

00:19:34.760 Christmas to

00:19:35.320 you.

00:19:36.660 We're just

00:19:36.980 talking about

00:19:37.540 this last

00:19:38.040 year and

00:19:38.480 what a

00:19:38.800 year it's

00:19:39.260 been.

00:19:41.240 I mean

00:19:41.900 who am I

00:19:42.520 kidding?

00:19:42.940 What a

00:19:43.240 year this

00:19:44.540 last week

00:19:45.160 has been.

00:19:48.380 You know

00:19:48.940 stranger to

00:19:49.580 the chaos.

00:19:51.540 But even

00:19:52.180 as it

00:19:52.540 swirls

00:19:53.240 as I

00:19:55.020 thought about

00:19:55.520 this show

00:19:55.920 today and

00:19:56.280 what we

00:19:57.260 might talk

00:19:57.760 about and

00:19:59.220 what we

00:20:00.840 might share

00:20:01.400 I thought

00:20:05.060 it would

00:20:05.360 be important

00:20:05.940 to share

00:20:06.500 some

00:20:06.780 things

00:20:07.280 that

00:20:08.500 really

00:20:12.300 highlight

00:20:13.060 maybe what

00:20:14.220 matters

00:20:14.580 most not

00:20:15.880 just in

00:20:16.360 years like

00:20:17.100 this but

00:20:17.620 eternally.

00:20:23.900 One of

00:20:24.600 those stories

00:20:25.140 I told you

00:20:25.700 we started

00:20:26.560 last year

00:20:27.280 in a

00:20:30.240 really

00:20:30.820 personally

00:20:35.440 anyway in

00:20:36.020 a really

00:20:36.580 tough way.

00:20:41.440 The story

00:20:42.360 of my

00:20:42.860 best friend

00:20:44.720 who's not

00:20:47.120 blood but

00:20:47.640 he's family

00:20:48.700 he's a

00:20:49.380 brother and

00:20:51.620 I get the

00:20:52.060 call that

00:20:53.200 as I'm

00:20:53.540 hosting this

00:20:54.080 show I

00:20:54.620 find out

00:20:55.140 his

00:20:55.440 mother is

00:20:57.720 spending her

00:21:01.680 last few

00:21:02.160 moments in

00:21:02.680 the hospital

00:21:03.140 just blocks

00:21:04.760 from where

00:21:05.120 I am.

00:21:08.480 And as I

00:21:08.920 said you

00:21:09.360 know the

00:21:09.620 build up

00:21:10.080 and the

00:21:11.560 anticipation

00:21:12.060 and everything

00:21:12.860 is looking

00:21:13.620 forward to

00:21:14.100 being on

00:21:14.420 the air

00:21:14.620 with you

00:21:14.900 that day

00:21:15.320 and it

00:21:17.440 all faded

00:21:17.900 away for

00:21:18.960 the things

00:21:21.640 that matter

00:21:22.220 most.

00:21:24.080 and I

00:21:26.620 talked a

00:21:27.020 little bit

00:21:27.240 about that

00:21:27.660 clarity I

00:21:28.260 want to

00:21:28.600 share with

00:21:29.000 you because

00:21:30.760 I think

00:21:31.100 it's

00:21:31.300 important

00:21:31.820 why we

00:21:38.120 need clarity

00:21:38.820 in times

00:21:39.320 like this

00:21:39.980 and the

00:21:44.560 truly happy

00:21:45.800 ending to

00:21:46.660 her story

00:21:47.300 that you

00:21:50.860 just don't

00:21:51.340 want to

00:21:51.620 miss because

00:21:52.340 I think

00:21:53.640 it's just

00:21:54.120 like everything

00:21:54.800 else we're

00:21:55.320 going through

00:21:55.940 right now

00:21:56.780 for

00:22:02.200 everything

00:22:02.900 no matter

00:22:03.360 what it

00:22:03.740 is there's

00:22:04.200 a messy

00:22:04.600 middle there's

00:22:05.560 a point

00:22:06.260 where it

00:22:06.740 just doesn't

00:22:07.980 look like

00:22:08.740 there's any

00:22:09.240 hope at

00:22:09.660 all.

00:22:12.280 And I

00:22:12.440 think for

00:22:13.020 well for

00:22:17.040 most times

00:22:17.860 maybe

00:22:19.880 even that's

00:22:22.080 good too

00:22:22.620 maybe it's

00:22:23.980 a test

00:22:24.540 I don't

00:22:27.860 know

00:22:28.160 sometimes it's

00:22:31.500 harder than

00:22:32.280 others to

00:22:33.500 find the

00:22:34.080 good

00:22:34.400 I've seen

00:22:36.920 that in my

00:22:37.240 own life

00:22:37.760 but I

00:22:41.500 know that

00:22:42.000 it's there

00:22:42.600 I've seen

00:22:49.540 it time

00:22:50.520 after time

00:22:51.200 but

00:22:51.420 even knowing

00:22:55.420 sometimes just

00:22:56.260 isn't enough

00:22:56.940 it's a real

00:22:58.700 test of

00:22:59.220 faith

00:22:59.540 but without

00:23:03.240 that test

00:23:03.980 do we even

00:23:05.420 have faith

00:23:06.200 anyway I

00:23:11.360 know that

00:23:12.660 miracles happen

00:23:13.860 every day

00:23:14.880 because I've

00:23:15.520 seen them

00:23:16.020 and one of the

00:23:18.480 things I've

00:23:18.920 learned throughout

00:23:19.480 this year is

00:23:20.200 that without

00:23:20.980 those tests

00:23:23.280 without the

00:23:23.780 dark times

00:23:24.340 there's no

00:23:24.880 opportunity for

00:23:26.040 miracles to

00:23:26.600 happen

00:23:26.940 I mean

00:23:28.640 miracles where

00:23:29.320 you really

00:23:29.920 look at a

00:23:30.400 situation where

00:23:31.220 you really

00:23:31.640 look at

00:23:32.020 something and

00:23:32.480 say

00:23:32.760 that was

00:23:34.380 God

00:23:34.820 my brother

00:23:39.080 my friend

00:23:41.660 and I

00:23:43.000 often have

00:23:44.500 conversations

00:23:45.340 especially after

00:23:49.940 the year he's

00:23:50.460 been through

00:23:50.920 we've been

00:23:53.480 through it

00:23:53.780 together

00:23:54.160 where we

00:23:56.040 talk about

00:23:56.780 the God

00:23:57.580 of 11

00:23:58.440 59

00:23:59.020 59

00:23:59.640 and it's

00:24:00.800 kind of our

00:24:01.300 little

00:24:01.620 inside joke

00:24:03.680 but it's

00:24:04.400 the truth

00:24:04.900 that sometimes

00:24:06.020 he just

00:24:07.160 doesn't show

00:24:07.820 up

00:24:08.160 until the

00:24:10.860 very last

00:24:12.060 moment

00:24:12.640 and why

00:24:14.380 is that

00:24:15.020 maybe it's

00:24:18.700 because

00:24:19.440 he really

00:24:23.840 wants you to

00:24:24.420 know that

00:24:25.380 it was him

00:24:26.020 and it

00:24:27.180 was all

00:24:27.560 him

00:24:27.880 I think

00:24:31.660 as a

00:24:32.280 country

00:24:32.720 we're

00:24:37.520 inching

00:24:37.900 closer to

00:24:38.500 that moment

00:24:39.080 I don't

00:24:40.460 know what's

00:24:40.820 going to

00:24:41.020 happen

00:24:41.360 but I

00:24:45.320 know that

00:24:46.140 no matter

00:24:46.540 what does

00:24:47.460 he's still

00:24:49.100 in control

00:24:49.740 and he's

00:24:53.540 still on the

00:24:54.020 throne

00:24:54.320 and it's

00:24:58.660 my goal

00:24:59.020 to share

00:24:59.340 some stories

00:24:59.920 today

00:25:00.220 maybe

00:25:00.600 that I've

00:25:04.540 experienced

00:25:05.240 that will

00:25:05.720 help point

00:25:06.680 to that

00:25:08.160 I would

00:25:10.420 also encourage

00:25:11.100 you to share

00:25:11.660 some as

00:25:12.100 well

00:25:12.380 and I give

00:25:13.540 you an 0.64

00:25:13.740 opportunity

00:25:14.180 to call

00:25:16.100 in

00:25:16.420 to email

00:25:17.660 or to 1.00

00:25:18.720 shoot me

00:25:19.000 a message

00:25:19.380 on Twitter

00:25:19.900 our number

00:25:22.460 is

00:25:22.680 888

00:25:23.440 727

00:25:24.280 back

00:25:24.780 that's

00:25:25.060 1-888

00:25:25.660 727

00:25:26.440 B-E-C-K 1.00

00:25:27.400 so I

00:25:30.760 rushed to

00:25:31.160 the hospital

00:25:31.840 that I

00:25:35.400 find

00:25:35.880 my best

00:25:41.640 friend with

00:25:42.060 his mom

00:25:42.600 and she

00:25:43.240 lies peacefully

00:25:44.040 there

00:25:44.440 in her

00:25:45.660 last moments

00:25:46.460 he got

00:25:48.000 to say

00:25:48.340 goodbye

00:25:48.780 family's

00:25:51.760 got the

00:25:52.200 chance to

00:25:52.820 gather

00:25:53.140 around her

00:25:54.060 and

00:25:57.580 to wish

00:25:59.420 her well 0.70

00:25:59.900 she was

00:26:01.180 such a

00:26:01.960 great

00:26:02.280 person

00:26:02.800 just

00:26:04.800 truly a

00:26:05.820 saint

00:26:06.100 and

00:26:11.100 in

00:26:14.480 those

00:26:14.700 last

00:26:15.040 moments

00:26:15.620 something

00:26:16.780 absolutely

00:26:17.620 remarkable

00:26:18.380 happened

00:26:18.920 as she

00:26:22.140 was lying

00:26:22.620 there

00:26:23.040 taking

00:26:26.780 her last

00:26:27.280 few

00:26:27.740 breaths

00:26:28.160 and the

00:26:31.580 body was

00:26:32.160 starting to

00:26:33.260 shut down

00:26:33.900 I had

00:26:38.520 just had a

00:26:39.260 conversation

00:26:39.860 with someone

00:26:40.580 and I

00:26:44.060 don't know

00:26:45.220 why but I

00:26:45.880 can tell you

00:26:46.380 that the

00:26:46.720 one thing

00:26:47.060 I've learned

00:26:47.440 is that

00:26:47.780 there are

00:26:48.300 no

00:26:48.540 coincidences

00:26:49.000 I just

00:26:49.380 don't

00:26:49.640 believe

00:26:50.220 in

00:26:50.960 coincidences

00:26:51.760 but I

00:26:53.040 just sat

00:26:53.560 down

00:26:53.780 and had

00:26:53.980 a

00:26:54.080 conversation

00:26:54.680 with a

00:26:55.160 friend

00:26:55.740 who

00:26:56.440 started

00:26:56.860 a

00:26:57.060 podcast

00:26:57.420 and he

00:26:58.560 has a

00:26:58.840 mission

00:26:59.200 that

00:26:59.900 he spends

00:27:01.360 time with

00:27:02.680 people

00:27:03.120 helping

00:27:03.780 them

00:27:04.220 in

00:27:05.480 hospice

00:27:05.980 care

00:27:06.300 in

00:27:07.560 their

00:27:07.700 very

00:27:07.980 last

00:27:08.320 moments

00:27:08.740 on

00:27:08.940 earth

00:27:09.180 and he

00:27:11.800 started

00:27:12.160 this new

00:27:12.600 podcast

00:27:13.320 he just

00:27:13.940 wanted to 0.99

00:27:14.740 shoot the

00:27:16.980 breeze with

00:27:17.380 me about

00:27:17.780 this and

00:27:18.200 pick my

00:27:19.580 brain

00:27:20.000 he started

00:27:21.280 this new

00:27:21.700 podcast

00:27:22.380 about

00:27:23.780 hospice

00:27:25.100 care

00:27:25.380 itself

00:27:25.840 and to

00:27:26.180 help

00:27:26.420 people

00:27:26.720 become

00:27:27.120 familiar

00:27:27.480 with

00:27:27.700 it

00:27:27.800 family

00:27:28.500 that are

00:27:28.880 going

00:27:29.120 through

00:27:29.400 it

00:27:29.640 the

00:27:30.600 people

00:27:30.860 themselves

00:27:31.360 that are

00:27:31.740 going

00:27:32.600 to be

00:27:32.780 going

00:27:32.960 through

00:27:33.140 this

00:27:33.320 hospice

00:27:33.680 care

00:27:33.940 and we

00:27:34.680 just had

00:27:35.240 a

00:27:35.340 conversation

00:27:35.840 he

00:27:36.200 plays

00:27:37.060 music

00:27:37.560 he has

00:27:38.100 a guitar

00:27:38.520 and he

00:27:38.780 comes

00:27:39.040 into the

00:27:39.400 room

00:27:39.600 and he

00:27:39.800 says

00:27:39.960 that

00:27:40.080 oftentimes

00:27:40.520 there's

00:27:40.900 a lot

00:27:41.160 of

00:27:41.300 therapy

00:27:41.700 that can

00:27:42.840 come out

00:27:43.320 of those

00:27:43.600 moments

00:27:43.980 with people

00:27:44.460 no matter

00:27:44.820 what it

00:27:45.280 is

00:27:45.480 and he

00:27:45.700 told me

00:27:46.220 about

00:27:46.520 an

00:27:47.320 absolutely

00:27:48.020 miraculous

00:27:49.560 story

00:27:50.200 about

00:27:52.720 playing for

00:27:53.380 a man

00:27:53.700 in his

00:27:53.980 last

00:27:54.320 moments

00:27:54.820 some

00:27:56.080 music

00:27:56.400 that he

00:27:56.720 really

00:27:56.980 enjoyed

00:27:57.440 and at

00:27:58.840 that point

00:27:59.360 in time

00:27:59.740 as I'm

00:28:00.040 sitting there

00:28:00.460 with my

00:28:00.860 friend

00:28:01.160 and his

00:28:02.240 mother

00:28:02.500 the one

00:28:04.200 thing that

00:28:04.520 pops into

00:28:04.960 my head

00:28:05.320 is what

00:28:05.580 can we

00:28:05.880 do now

00:28:06.280 to just

00:28:06.600 make her

00:28:06.960 comfortable

00:28:07.500 to just

00:28:08.200 ease this

00:28:08.780 transition

00:28:09.340 and I

00:28:12.860 thought about

00:28:13.320 that conversation

00:28:14.100 I had

00:28:14.480 with him

00:28:14.820 and

00:28:15.200 I

00:28:17.080 instantly

00:28:17.480 asked my

00:28:18.100 friend

00:28:18.400 what kind

00:28:21.540 of music

00:28:22.120 what kind

00:28:24.000 of music

00:28:24.380 does she

00:28:24.760 like

00:28:25.100 and he

00:28:28.680 replied

00:28:29.600 back

00:28:29.860 well you

00:28:30.140 know

00:28:30.260 she

00:28:30.440 really

00:28:30.700 liked

00:28:30.960 the

00:28:31.120 50s

00:28:31.800 sort of

00:28:36.040 rock and

00:28:36.440 roll

00:28:36.760 and he

00:28:37.640 had given

00:28:37.940 me a

00:28:38.320 name of

00:28:38.680 a band

00:28:39.060 and I

00:28:39.940 pulled it

00:28:40.340 up on my

00:28:40.680 phone

00:28:40.900 started

00:28:41.180 playing

00:28:41.460 and said

00:28:41.640 you know

00:28:41.900 what

00:28:42.180 tell you

00:28:49.340 what she

00:28:49.640 really

00:28:49.880 liked

00:28:50.200 and he

00:28:54.620 told me

00:28:54.940 the name

00:28:55.300 of the

00:28:55.540 song

00:28:55.780 but then

00:28:56.120 he said

00:28:56.420 but you

00:28:57.440 know

00:28:57.700 if you

00:28:59.900 play that

00:29:00.640 I'm just

00:29:05.260 going to

00:29:05.520 lose it

00:29:06.080 in fact

00:29:07.740 that same

00:29:08.160 song was

00:29:08.680 played at

00:29:09.100 his father's

00:29:09.680 funeral

00:29:09.960 I still

00:29:15.840 got the

00:29:16.440 sense that

00:29:16.940 he

00:29:17.300 wanted me

00:29:18.740 to play

00:29:19.160 it

00:29:19.400 even

00:29:20.640 though

00:29:21.120 he had

00:29:24.200 some

00:29:24.400 reservations

00:29:24.940 so I

00:29:27.520 looked at

00:29:27.900 him in

00:29:28.100 the eye

00:29:28.360 and he

00:29:28.480 said

00:29:28.680 you want

00:29:31.960 me to

00:29:32.160 play it

00:29:32.560 and he

00:29:35.240 agreed

00:29:35.780 and I

00:29:37.180 pulled it

00:29:37.680 up

00:29:37.980 quickly on

00:29:40.840 YouTube

00:29:41.140 found it

00:29:41.920 we got

00:29:46.360 no more

00:29:48.280 than a

00:29:50.040 full minute

00:29:50.640 into that

00:29:51.180 song

00:29:51.620 and she

00:29:55.480 had

00:29:56.940 peacefully

00:29:57.480 passed

00:29:58.680 on

00:30:03.360 eagle's

00:30:04.020 wings

00:30:04.540 I

00:30:07.860 will

00:30:08.020 never

00:30:08.480 forget

00:30:10.260 that

00:30:10.540 Christmas

00:30:11.040 and as

00:30:17.780 much

00:30:18.040 pain

00:30:18.640 as it

00:30:20.060 was for

00:30:20.560 us

00:30:20.940 and for

00:30:21.960 him

00:30:22.300 there

00:30:28.440 was even

00:30:28.920 more

00:30:29.260 joy

00:30:29.860 there

00:30:31.800 was even

00:30:32.240 more

00:30:32.500 hope

00:30:33.040 in that

00:30:34.740 one

00:30:35.040 moment

00:30:35.660 because

00:30:37.500 what we

00:30:37.940 had

00:30:38.080 witnessed

00:30:38.600 was

00:30:40.080 absolutely

00:30:40.880 divine

00:30:41.560 it was

00:30:45.640 a miracle

00:30:46.140 it's

00:30:48.200 the only

00:30:48.720 way

00:30:49.280 I can

00:30:51.140 describe

00:30:51.660 it

00:30:51.940 but how

00:30:55.540 many of

00:30:56.000 those

00:30:56.240 moments

00:30:56.820 have we

00:31:00.340 witnessed

00:31:00.760 even in

00:31:02.200 some of

00:31:02.580 the darkest

00:31:03.020 times

00:31:03.520 throughout

00:31:03.780 this past

00:31:04.320 year

00:31:04.640 for me

00:31:06.660 and my

00:31:07.520 wife

00:31:07.920 I can

00:31:09.460 tell you

00:31:09.880 we're

00:31:10.080 witnessing

00:31:10.440 one right

00:31:11.000 now

00:31:11.440 this year

00:31:13.160 has been

00:31:13.580 bookended

00:31:14.320 by miracles

00:31:15.340 ours is

00:31:20.100 a little

00:31:20.480 tiny

00:31:21.240 two

00:31:23.340 pound

00:31:24.000 born

00:31:26.660 way too

00:31:27.180 early

00:31:27.620 baby

00:31:28.800 miracle

00:31:29.280 that

00:31:30.640 arrived

00:31:31.240 just in

00:31:33.040 time for

00:31:33.540 Christmas

00:31:34.060 I'll

00:31:36.460 share with

00:31:36.900 you

00:31:37.220 that

00:31:38.860 story

00:31:39.340 right

00:31:41.120 after

00:31:41.380 this

00:31:41.800 welcome

00:31:51.620 back

00:31:51.940 in

00:31:52.100 it's

00:31:52.300 Justin

00:31:52.600 Barkley

00:31:52.940 and for

00:31:53.180 Glenn

00:31:53.420 today

00:31:53.680 on the

00:31:53.860 Glenn

00:31:54.000 Beck

00:31:54.180 program

00:31:54.720 888

00:31:55.700 727

00:31:56.420 BECK

00:31:57.380 that's

00:31:57.760 888

00:31:58.040 727

00:31:58.820 BECK

00:31:59.180 I was

00:31:59.460 just

00:31:59.680 telling

00:32:00.000 you

00:32:00.340 even

00:32:01.180 in

00:32:01.380 the

00:32:01.520 darkest

00:32:01.840 of

00:32:02.160 moments

00:32:02.660 boy

00:32:04.180 I

00:32:04.700 the

00:32:05.500 light

00:32:06.180 really

00:32:06.920 shines

00:32:07.380 through

00:32:07.740 in

00:32:08.400 these

00:32:08.680 last

00:32:09.400 few

00:32:09.620 months

00:32:09.960 this

00:32:10.300 year

00:32:10.580 we've

00:32:11.560 seen

00:32:11.700 a lot

00:32:11.940 of

00:32:12.040 dark

00:32:12.240 moments

00:32:12.620 but

00:32:12.820 we

00:32:13.060 have

00:32:13.320 seen

00:32:13.900 some

00:32:14.420 bright

00:32:14.960 shining

00:32:15.760 ones

00:32:16.160 too

00:32:16.500 I

00:32:18.880 just

00:32:20.120 experienced

00:32:21.280 one

00:32:21.620 I

00:32:24.420 became

00:32:24.860 a

00:32:25.380 father

00:32:25.800 my

00:32:29.040 wife

00:32:29.460 and I

00:32:30.040 found

00:32:30.600 out we

00:32:30.800 were

00:32:30.900 going

00:32:31.020 to be

00:32:31.200 pregnant 0.80

00:32:31.580 well

00:32:32.780 she

00:32:32.960 was

00:32:33.260 doing

00:32:34.700 the

00:32:34.840 heavy

00:32:35.020 lifting

00:32:35.280 there

00:32:35.540 but

00:32:35.740 we

00:32:36.280 found

00:32:36.700 out

00:32:36.860 we

00:32:36.980 were

00:32:37.100 going

00:32:37.220 to

00:32:37.300 have

00:32:37.540 a

00:32:37.680 kid

00:32:38.020 it

00:32:41.580 was

00:32:42.000 an

00:32:42.300 amazing

00:32:43.180 I

00:32:45.840 gotta

00:32:46.640 tell

00:32:46.860 you

00:32:46.960 I

00:32:47.100 should

00:32:47.320 probably

00:32:47.640 back

00:32:47.920 up

00:32:48.100 and

00:32:48.240 tell

00:32:48.380 you

00:32:48.460 the

00:32:48.620 story

00:32:48.920 the

00:32:49.100 way

00:32:49.280 she

00:32:49.480 did

00:32:49.680 it

00:32:49.920 is

00:32:50.300 she

00:32:51.500 told

00:32:51.800 me

00:32:51.960 was

00:32:52.180 absolutely

00:32:52.820 incredible

00:32:54.500 I

00:32:55.320 found

00:32:55.760 out

00:32:56.240 on

00:32:58.160 father's

00:32:58.720 day

00:32:58.940 she

00:33:02.860 gave

00:33:03.260 me

00:33:03.660 a

00:33:04.560 little

00:33:04.700 present

00:33:05.140 for

00:33:07.620 the

00:33:08.440 nursery

00:33:08.820 for

00:33:10.220 the

00:33:10.340 baby's

00:33:10.700 room

00:33:10.900 it

00:33:11.280 was

00:33:11.400 a

00:33:11.540 little

00:33:11.740 cross

00:33:12.340 that

00:33:12.580 said

00:33:12.900 for

00:33:13.760 this

00:33:13.960 child

00:33:14.260 we

00:33:14.420 have

00:33:14.600 prayed

00:33:14.880 and

00:33:18.620 there

00:33:18.760 was

00:33:18.940 a

00:33:19.120 little

00:33:19.320 onesie

00:33:19.880 outfit

00:33:20.300 in

00:33:20.720 there

00:33:20.940 that

00:33:21.160 she

00:33:21.400 had

00:33:21.660 made

00:33:23.480 and

00:33:23.680 put

00:33:23.820 together

00:33:24.260 decorated

00:33:26.480 herself

00:33:27.080 and

00:33:29.160 a

00:33:29.340 pregnancy

00:33:30.080 test

00:33:30.760 would

00:33:34.100 I

00:33:34.280 rip 0.82

00:33:34.620 this

00:33:34.920 thing

00:33:35.220 open

00:33:35.660 on

00:33:36.400 father's

00:33:36.920 day

00:33:37.140 now

00:33:37.620 it

00:33:37.920 wasn't

00:33:38.420 I'll

00:33:38.760 tell

00:33:39.000 you

00:33:39.180 a

00:33:39.360 surprise

00:33:39.880 or

00:33:40.160 or

00:33:40.500 or

00:33:40.840 strange

00:33:41.320 for

00:33:41.520 me

00:33:41.620 to

00:33:41.740 get

00:33:41.880 this

00:33:42.100 present

00:33:42.600 because

00:33:44.120 we

00:33:45.700 often

00:33:46.040 kind

00:33:46.340 of

00:33:46.440 do

00:33:46.600 little

00:33:47.040 gifts

00:33:48.260 for

00:33:48.440 each

00:33:48.580 other

00:33:48.760 mother's

00:33:49.200 day

00:33:49.340 and

00:33:49.480 father's

00:33:49.860 day

00:33:49.960 just

00:33:50.140 kind

00:33:50.360 of

00:33:50.440 tongue

00:33:50.620 in

00:33:50.760 cheek

00:33:51.000 for

00:33:51.580 the

00:33:52.060 dog

00:33:52.460 and

00:33:55.160 so

00:33:55.380 I

00:33:55.600 didn't

00:33:55.980 think

00:33:56.180 anything

00:33:56.440 of

00:33:56.720 it

00:33:56.780 but

00:33:56.900 when

00:33:57.020 I

00:33:57.140 tore

00:33:57.320 open

00:33:57.580 into

00:33:57.780 that

00:33:57.980 thing

00:33:58.180 and

00:33:58.300 I

00:33:58.500 I

00:33:59.140 opened

00:34:00.760 sitting

00:34:00.980 there

00:34:01.220 and

00:34:01.340 I

00:34:01.460 just

00:34:01.700 my

00:34:03.460 jaw

00:34:03.980 must

00:34:04.600 have

00:34:04.740 hit

00:34:04.920 the

00:34:05.160 ground

00:34:05.740 and

00:34:07.520 I

00:34:07.660 looked

00:34:07.840 at

00:34:07.980 her

00:34:08.080 and

00:34:08.200 said

00:34:08.340 wait

00:34:08.600 a

00:34:08.740 minute

00:34:08.900 is

00:34:10.480 this

00:34:10.660 for

00:34:10.880 real

00:34:11.180 is

00:34:12.300 this

00:34:12.560 a

00:34:12.780 joke

00:34:13.040 is

00:34:13.360 this

00:34:13.680 real

00:34:14.100 she

00:34:15.760 said

00:34:16.040 yeah

00:34:16.400 it's

00:34:17.040 real

00:34:17.460 you're

00:34:18.540 gonna

00:34:18.680 be

00:34:18.860 a

00:34:19.020 dad

00:34:19.420 and

00:34:21.280 I

00:34:21.580 about

00:34:23.780 lost

00:34:24.200 it

00:34:24.580 so

00:34:27.420 I

00:34:27.640 find

00:34:27.940 out

00:34:28.160 on

00:34:28.360 father's

00:34:28.860 day

00:34:29.080 even

00:34:32.040 in

00:34:32.180 the

00:34:32.260 midst

00:34:32.480 of

00:34:32.620 this

00:34:32.940 chaos

00:34:34.400 swirling

00:34:36.560 all

00:34:36.740 about

00:34:37.040 us

00:34:37.380 something

00:34:39.520 very

00:34:40.160 good

00:34:40.680 has

00:34:41.380 happened

00:34:41.700 now

00:34:42.060 there

00:34:42.260 were

00:34:42.400 times

00:34:42.740 that

00:34:42.880 we

00:34:42.980 probably

00:34:43.340 asked

00:34:43.620 questions

00:34:44.140 was

00:34:44.380 this

00:34:44.520 the

00:34:44.680 right

00:34:44.880 thing

00:34:45.140 in

00:34:45.240 the

00:34:45.360 middle

00:34:45.540 of

00:34:45.700 all

00:34:45.840 this

00:34:46.100 yeah

00:34:47.520 yeah

00:34:48.360 it

00:34:50.400 certainly

00:34:50.760 was

00:34:51.260 and

00:34:53.840 the

00:34:54.000 miracle

00:34:54.340 that

00:34:54.580 we

00:34:54.720 just

00:34:55.180 experienced

00:34:55.800 with

00:34:56.040 her

00:34:56.240 birth

00:34:56.700 I

00:34:58.160 think

00:34:58.340 proves

00:34:58.760 it

00:34:58.900 all

00:34:59.140 I'll

00:35:00.560 share

00:35:00.760 that

00:35:01.000 story

00:35:01.320 with

00:35:01.600 you

00:35:01.820 and

00:35:03.460 why

00:35:03.920 do

00:35:04.220 all

00:35:04.680 of

00:35:04.880 these

00:35:05.180 miracle

00:35:06.280 moments

00:35:06.920 matter

00:35:07.800 the

00:35:10.300 perspective

00:35:10.840 that we

00:35:11.520 all

00:35:11.840 could

00:35:12.080 use

00:35:12.540 in

00:35:13.320 this

00:35:13.520 year

00:35:13.780 just

00:35:14.820 in

00:35:15.020 time

00:35:15.340 for

00:35:15.580 Christmas

00:35:16.040 coming

00:35:16.860 up

00:35:17.120 next

00:35:17.520 on

00:35:39.840 and

00:35:40.140 it's

00:35:40.480 a

00:35:40.860 it's

00:35:41.040 an

00:35:41.180 honor

00:35:41.300 to be

00:35:41.560 filling

00:35:42.020 for

00:35:42.180 Glenn

00:35:42.480 again

00:35:44.060 this

00:35:44.320 year

00:35:44.580 what a

00:35:45.360 year

00:35:45.500 it's

00:35:45.680 been

00:35:46.040 we were

00:35:47.300 just

00:35:47.420 talking

00:35:47.720 about

00:35:48.000 this

00:35:48.320 and the

00:35:48.740 the

00:35:51.060 breath

00:35:51.380 of it

00:35:51.720 all

00:35:52.180 the

00:35:53.720 depth

00:35:54.100 of it

00:35:54.360 all

00:35:54.620 has

00:35:55.460 been

00:35:55.660 incredible

00:35:56.140 but even

00:35:57.100 in the

00:35:57.580 darkest

00:35:57.960 moments

00:35:58.540 there

00:35:58.800 have

00:35:59.080 been

00:35:59.380 ones

00:35:59.740 that

00:35:59.980 just

00:36:00.320 shine

00:36:01.080 through

00:36:01.680 that's

00:36:03.060 kind

00:36:03.240 of

00:36:03.320 what

00:36:03.440 we're

00:36:03.600 focusing

00:36:04.020 on

00:36:04.300 today

00:36:04.700 the

00:36:06.600 tis

00:36:08.160 the

00:36:08.340 season

00:36:08.700 and

00:36:09.980 I'll

00:36:10.100 share

00:36:10.300 why

00:36:10.620 it

00:36:10.800 matters

00:36:11.300 coming

00:36:12.660 up

00:36:12.980 in

00:36:13.440 just

00:36:36.560 was

00:36:41.160 old

00:36:41.400 now

00:36:41.660 and

00:36:41.840 she

00:36:42.020 spent

00:36:42.420 her

00:36:43.100 first

00:36:43.680 days

00:36:46.360 of her

00:36:46.920 life

00:36:47.320 in the

00:36:47.880 NICU

00:36:48.380 here

00:36:49.980 at home

00:36:51.080 in the

00:36:51.840 capable

00:36:52.160 hands

00:36:52.560 of some

00:36:52.880 people

00:36:53.160 who are

00:36:53.600 just

00:36:53.880 absolute

00:36:54.380 angels

00:36:54.860 but

00:36:57.360 I

00:36:57.620 I

00:36:59.120 told you

00:36:59.920 earlier

00:37:00.500 how I

00:37:02.220 found out

00:37:02.680 I was

00:37:03.000 going to

00:37:03.440 be a

00:37:03.760 father

00:37:04.100 and

00:37:06.340 her

00:37:06.580 story

00:37:07.180 and

00:37:09.860 how she

00:37:10.180 came

00:37:10.440 into

00:37:10.640 this

00:37:10.860 world

00:37:11.300 and

00:37:13.700 the

00:37:13.840 miracle

00:37:14.160 that

00:37:14.440 she

00:37:14.660 is

00:37:15.140 is

00:37:19.000 even

00:37:19.260 better

00:37:19.600 so

00:37:23.000 my

00:37:23.220 wife's

00:37:23.720 water

00:37:24.000 broke

00:37:24.400 and

00:37:25.060 as

00:37:26.360 I

00:37:26.520 mentioned

00:37:26.920 a

00:37:28.260 little

00:37:28.460 early

00:37:28.920 or a

00:37:30.080 lot

00:37:30.320 in this

00:37:30.820 case

00:37:31.200 in the

00:37:34.660 middle

00:37:34.800 of the

00:37:35.020 night

00:37:35.280 she

00:37:38.460 says

00:37:38.720 I

00:37:39.240 think

00:37:39.480 I

00:37:39.600 got

00:37:39.720 to

00:37:39.820 call

00:37:39.960 the

00:37:40.120 doctor

00:37:40.480 something's

00:37:41.920 not

00:37:42.140 right

00:37:42.480 we

00:37:49.080 did

00:37:49.400 and

00:37:49.620 they

00:37:49.780 said

00:37:49.940 you

00:37:50.080 need

00:37:50.260 to

00:37:50.360 get

00:37:50.460 to

00:37:50.580 the

00:37:50.720 hospital

00:37:51.080 you're

00:37:51.360 probably

00:37:51.760 going

00:37:52.100 to

00:37:52.300 be

00:37:52.480 there

00:37:52.740 for

00:37:52.960 a

00:37:53.100 while

00:37:53.400 we

00:37:54.940 packed

00:37:55.280 up

00:37:55.620 as

00:37:56.120 they

00:37:56.240 told

00:37:56.440 us

00:37:56.580 to

00:37:56.700 get

00:37:56.820 a

00:37:56.920 bag

00:37:57.120 together

00:37:57.540 and

00:37:58.580 we

00:37:58.700 rushed

00:37:59.000 off

00:37:59.460 at

00:38:01.720 about

00:38:01.900 4

00:38:02.260 30

00:38:02.600 5

00:38:02.960 o'clock

00:38:03.300 in the

00:38:03.560 morning

00:38:03.820 that

00:38:04.060 day

00:38:04.340 we

00:38:07.460 were

00:38:07.600 the

00:38:07.720 only

00:38:07.920 ones

00:38:08.180 there

00:38:08.420 when

00:38:08.580 we

00:38:08.720 walked

00:38:09.000 in

00:38:09.360 greeted

00:38:12.940 in

00:38:13.160 the

00:38:13.300 dark

00:38:13.660 by

00:38:15.480 a

00:38:15.660 nurse

00:38:16.020 who

00:38:17.140 put

00:38:19.220 all of

00:38:19.460 her

00:38:19.580 information

00:38:20.080 into

00:38:20.440 the

00:38:20.600 computer

00:38:20.940 asked

00:38:21.300 her

00:38:21.400 all

00:38:21.540 the

00:38:21.680 pertinent

00:38:21.960 questions

00:38:22.460 and

00:38:22.660 then

00:38:22.840 whisked

00:38:23.140 us

00:38:23.280 off

00:38:23.520 into

00:38:23.740 a

00:38:23.960 little

00:38:24.180 room

00:38:25.960 where

00:38:26.160 they

00:38:26.360 would

00:38:26.620 get

00:38:27.600 her

00:38:27.740 vitals

00:38:28.200 and

00:38:28.440 check

00:38:28.820 on

00:38:28.960 the

00:38:29.080 baby

00:38:29.460 baby

00:38:31.040 in

00:38:31.240 the

00:38:31.360 ultrasound

00:38:31.780 was

00:38:32.480 breech

00:38:33.140 and

00:38:34.220 they

00:38:34.360 warned

00:38:34.660 us

00:38:34.900 boy

00:38:35.180 they

00:38:35.340 told

00:38:35.560 us

00:38:35.720 every

00:38:35.920 possible

00:38:36.340 thing

00:38:36.600 that

00:38:36.760 could

00:38:36.880 go

00:38:37.040 wrong

00:38:37.220 this

00:38:37.420 baby

00:38:37.680 may

00:38:37.880 come

00:38:38.100 today

00:38:38.520 well

00:38:39.280 it's

00:38:39.500 far

00:38:39.720 too

00:38:39.920 early

00:38:40.200 I

00:38:40.380 thought

00:38:40.660 but

00:38:42.320 if

00:38:42.460 she

00:38:42.580 does

00:38:42.820 she's

00:38:43.040 going

00:38:43.160 to

00:38:43.240 have

00:38:43.360 to

00:38:43.440 be

00:38:43.560 cut

00:38:43.780 out

00:38:43.960 it's

00:38:44.120 a

00:38:44.260 c-section

00:38:44.860 this

00:38:49.420 is

00:38:49.560 what

00:38:49.680 we

00:38:49.840 do

00:38:50.140 this

00:38:51.440 is

00:38:51.580 how

00:38:51.720 we

00:38:51.880 do

00:38:52.060 it

00:38:52.260 you're

00:38:52.780 incapable 0.97

00:38:53.160 hands

00:38:53.760 they

00:38:54.960 assured

00:38:55.260 us

00:38:55.600 but

00:38:57.160 we

00:38:57.380 just

00:38:57.740 weren't

00:38:58.420 ready

00:38:58.660 for

00:38:58.860 baby

00:38:59.240 it

00:39:00.600 was

00:39:00.760 just

00:39:00.940 far

00:39:01.180 too

00:39:01.380 early

00:39:01.700 they

00:39:03.160 said

00:39:03.440 though

00:39:03.600 that

00:39:03.760 if

00:39:03.900 she

00:39:04.060 stayed

00:39:04.440 there

00:39:04.760 the

00:39:05.680 goal

00:39:05.980 was

00:39:06.220 for

00:39:06.420 her

00:39:06.560 to

00:39:06.700 make

00:39:06.940 it

00:39:07.060 to

00:39:07.200 at

00:39:07.340 least

00:39:07.520 34

00:39:08.140 weeks

00:39:08.800 to

00:39:10.620 keep

00:39:10.820 baby

00:39:11.160 safe

00:39:11.640 mom

00:39:12.600 would

00:39:12.760 be

00:39:12.880 on

00:39:13.080 bed

00:39:13.300 rest

00:39:13.700 they

00:39:14.460 pumped

00:39:14.740 her

00:39:14.860 full

00:39:15.040 of

00:39:15.160 some

00:39:15.320 drugs

00:39:15.640 and

00:39:15.780 of

00:39:15.940 course

00:39:16.200 whisked

00:39:16.540 her

00:39:16.640 upstairs

00:39:17.080 to

00:39:17.280 another

00:39:17.580 room

00:39:17.940 where

00:39:18.960 she

00:39:19.300 was

00:39:19.600 going

00:39:19.920 to

00:39:20.080 be

00:39:20.440 under

00:39:21.640 the

00:39:21.840 watchful

00:39:22.260 eyes

00:39:22.560 of

00:39:22.720 even

00:39:22.880 more

00:39:23.100 nurses

00:39:23.520 and

00:39:24.440 doctors

00:39:24.860 would

00:39:25.460 be

00:39:25.580 making

00:39:25.860 the

00:39:26.040 rounds

00:39:26.360 and

00:39:26.500 again

00:39:26.780 telling

00:39:27.120 us

00:39:27.360 well

00:39:27.600 if

00:39:27.760 she

00:39:27.900 is

00:39:28.080 born

00:39:28.340 here

00:39:28.580 is

00:39:28.720 the

00:39:28.880 worst

00:39:29.100 that

00:39:29.260 could

00:39:29.420 happen

00:39:29.760 and

00:39:29.960 boy

00:39:30.220 oh

00:39:30.400 boy

00:39:30.640 it

00:39:30.940 was

00:39:31.560 alarming

00:39:32.480 we

00:39:39.660 stayed

00:39:40.580 in that

00:39:41.560 hospital

00:39:42.120 for

00:39:42.720 about

00:39:44.740 until

00:39:48.220 it

00:39:48.500 started

00:39:48.800 happening

00:39:49.300 she

00:39:51.280 started

00:39:51.640 feeling

00:39:52.260 some

00:39:54.620 cramping

00:39:55.160 she

00:39:55.360 said

00:39:55.860 and

00:39:56.520 then

00:39:56.740 eventually

00:39:57.880 that

00:39:59.440 turned

00:39:59.760 into

00:40:00.000 contractions

00:40:00.820 and

00:40:04.900 I

00:40:07.520 still

00:40:07.900 wasn't

00:40:08.360 convinced

00:40:08.920 but

00:40:09.260 baby

00:40:09.740 was

00:40:10.080 coming

00:40:10.500 and

00:40:11.900 it

00:40:12.720 happened

00:40:13.400 so

00:40:14.440 fast

00:40:15.020 they

00:40:18.400 started

00:40:18.740 checking

00:40:19.180 on her

00:40:19.560 and they

00:40:19.800 did

00:40:19.960 another

00:40:20.380 ultrasound

00:40:21.280 just

00:40:22.060 to

00:40:22.280 find

00:40:22.520 out

00:40:22.820 what

00:40:24.120 baby

00:40:24.460 is

00:40:24.600 doing

00:40:24.900 and

00:40:26.680 this

00:40:26.960 time

00:40:27.380 she

00:40:30.000 wasn't

00:40:30.340 breech

00:40:30.820 and

00:40:32.660 what

00:40:32.800 that

00:40:33.000 means

00:40:33.360 is

00:40:33.640 the

00:40:33.900 baby

00:40:34.200 to

00:40:34.480 be

00:40:34.640 born

00:40:35.040 naturally

00:40:36.480 and

00:40:36.820 the

00:40:37.360 way

00:40:37.540 we

00:40:37.960 wanted

00:40:38.320 everything

00:40:38.720 to

00:40:38.900 work

00:40:39.120 out

00:40:39.380 the 0.98

00:40:39.620 head

00:40:39.820 has

00:40:40.100 to

00:40:40.220 be

00:40:40.360 down

00:40:40.620 I'll

00:40:41.360 spare

00:40:41.600 you

00:40:41.720 all

00:40:41.860 the

00:40:41.980 details

00:40:42.380 but

00:40:42.660 in

00:40:43.960 the

00:40:44.060 beginning

00:40:44.380 head

00:40:44.600 wasn't

00:40:44.860 down

00:40:45.060 the

00:40:45.220 feet

00:40:45.400 were

00:40:45.600 so

00:40:46.340 they

00:40:46.740 had

00:40:46.940 to

00:40:47.040 do

00:40:47.160 a

00:40:47.280 c

00:40:47.440 section

00:40:47.720 if

00:40:47.920 she

00:40:48.060 was

00:40:48.240 born

00:40:48.540 at

00:40:48.960 that

00:40:49.160 point

00:40:49.460 or

00:40:49.840 delivered

00:40:50.340 and

00:40:51.700 miraculously

00:40:54.800 she

00:40:56.680 had

00:40:56.880 flipped

00:40:57.260 now

00:40:57.660 this

00:40:58.000 is

00:40:58.460 kind

00:40:58.920 of

00:40:59.060 strange

00:40:59.480 because

00:40:59.840 that

00:41:00.280 doesn't

00:41:00.780 really

00:41:01.200 normally

00:41:02.040 happen

00:41:02.480 until

00:41:02.900 further

00:41:04.820 down

00:41:05.380 the road

00:41:06.500 30

00:41:08.120 some

00:41:08.380 odd

00:41:08.580 weeks

00:41:08.920 and

00:41:09.820 we

00:41:09.940 were

00:41:10.100 only

00:41:10.320 at

00:41:10.500 27

00:41:11.960 so

00:41:17.040 baby

00:41:18.140 has

00:41:18.400 flipped

00:41:18.760 we

00:41:20.040 couldn't

00:41:20.340 believe

00:41:20.620 our

00:41:20.800 eyes

00:41:21.240 they

00:41:22.840 took

00:41:23.020 us

00:41:23.200 downstairs

00:41:23.620 to

00:41:24.020 the

00:41:24.220 labor

00:41:24.480 and

00:41:24.680 delivery

00:41:24.980 department

00:41:25.480 and

00:41:25.980 into

00:41:26.760 a

00:41:26.920 new

00:41:27.060 room

00:41:27.380 yet

00:41:27.880 again

00:41:28.240 and

00:41:29.620 another

00:41:29.900 bed

00:41:30.180 where

00:41:30.360 my

00:41:30.560 wife

00:41:30.980 who

00:41:31.460 I

00:41:31.720 am

00:41:32.060 so

00:41:34.620 proud

00:41:35.000 of

00:41:35.340 she

00:41:37.080 is

00:41:37.320 so

00:41:37.580 strong

00:41:38.160 she's

00:41:39.940 incredible

00:41:40.440 she

00:41:41.880 gave

00:41:42.120 birth

00:41:42.360 to

00:41:42.480 that

00:41:42.640 baby

00:41:42.920 without

00:41:43.220 any

00:41:43.480 pain

00:41:43.880 meds

00:41:44.380 or

00:41:44.580 any

00:41:45.500 of

00:41:45.660 that

00:41:45.960 and

00:41:47.800 just

00:41:49.140 fought

00:41:50.520 right

00:41:50.780 through

00:41:51.000 everything

00:41:51.580 again

00:41:56.520 it

00:41:56.720 happened

00:41:57.080 so

00:41:57.420 fast

00:41:57.800 I

00:41:58.020 can't

00:41:58.440 even

00:41:58.720 begin

00:41:59.020 to

00:41:59.240 explain

00:41:59.820 to

00:42:00.060 you

00:42:00.320 how

00:42:01.280 quickly

00:42:01.680 but

00:42:03.700 we

00:42:03.860 blinked

00:42:04.300 and

00:42:04.460 the

00:42:05.000 doctor

00:42:05.340 was

00:42:05.580 out

00:42:05.760 of

00:42:05.880 the

00:42:06.120 room

00:42:06.400 for

00:42:06.560 just

00:42:06.720 a

00:42:06.860 moment

00:42:07.000 checking

00:42:07.300 on

00:42:07.460 another

00:42:07.700 patient

00:42:08.120 had

00:42:08.340 to

00:42:08.400 be

00:42:08.520 called

00:42:08.740 back

00:42:09.020 in

00:42:09.240 because

00:42:09.520 it

00:42:09.720 was

00:42:09.900 like

00:42:10.200 hey

00:42:10.960 I

00:42:11.480 feel

00:42:11.720 like

00:42:11.880 I

00:42:12.020 need

00:42:12.180 to

00:42:12.340 push 0.64

00:42:12.720 I

00:42:13.620 think

00:42:13.880 this

00:42:14.080 baby

00:42:14.380 is

00:42:14.520 coming

00:42:14.860 and

00:42:16.240 she

00:42:16.460 did

00:42:16.860 sure

00:42:17.420 enough

00:42:17.800 she

00:42:18.100 was

00:42:18.340 born

00:42:18.820 naturally

00:42:20.280 beautifully

00:42:21.320 face

00:42:22.280 up

00:42:22.580 looking

00:42:23.080 at

00:42:23.260 the

00:42:23.380 world

00:42:23.620 eyes

00:42:24.000 open

00:42:24.400 crying

00:42:25.700 a little

00:42:26.040 bit

00:42:26.260 and

00:42:26.480 breathing

00:42:26.740 on

00:42:26.960 her

00:42:27.100 own

00:42:27.340 which

00:42:27.800 is

00:42:27.940 another

00:42:28.260 miracle

00:42:28.740 because

00:42:30.240 at

00:42:30.440 that

00:42:30.680 age

00:42:31.200 that

00:42:31.820 gestation

00:42:32.540 they call

00:42:32.940 it

00:42:33.080 they're

00:42:33.260 just

00:42:33.620 their

00:42:34.020 lungs

00:42:34.380 aren't

00:42:34.700 normally

00:42:35.320 developed

00:42:35.800 that

00:42:36.040 much

00:42:36.440 they're

00:42:37.360 not

00:42:37.560 really

00:42:37.880 ready

00:42:38.300 but

00:42:41.280 there

00:42:41.480 she

00:42:41.700 was

00:42:42.320 a

00:42:45.300 little

00:42:45.580 Ada

00:42:46.160 Grace

00:42:46.880 born

00:42:47.380 born

00:42:47.400 at

00:42:47.580 two

00:42:48.220 pounds

00:42:49.320 six

00:42:51.460 ounces

00:42:51.900 just

00:42:53.080 tiny

00:42:53.620 but

00:42:55.720 fierce

00:42:56.200 strong

00:42:59.100 and a

00:42:59.800 fighter

00:43:00.100 a real

00:43:03.620 miracle

00:43:04.060 oh we've

00:43:06.300 been

00:43:06.420 basking in

00:43:06.960 that glow

00:43:07.440 even as

00:43:08.460 we go

00:43:08.720 back and

00:43:09.140 forth to

00:43:09.560 the

00:43:09.680 NICU

00:43:10.120 for

00:43:11.300 visits

00:43:11.640 every

00:43:11.920 day and

00:43:12.300 sometimes

00:43:12.640 several times

00:43:13.320 a day

00:43:13.540 we're so

00:43:13.900 grateful

00:43:14.200 that we

00:43:14.540 have

00:43:14.740 such

00:43:15.060 an

00:43:15.200 amazing

00:43:15.800 resource

00:43:17.020 in the

00:43:17.460 the

00:43:18.760 Helen

00:43:18.980 DeVos

00:43:19.340 Children's

00:43:19.860 Hospital

00:43:20.260 here in

00:43:21.020 Grand Rapids

00:43:21.640 where I'm

00:43:22.180 at

00:43:22.380 Michigan

00:43:22.860 but

00:43:27.320 we got a

00:43:28.520 phone call

00:43:29.180 this week

00:43:30.400 during a

00:43:30.980 follow-up

00:43:31.800 appointment

00:43:32.560 that she

00:43:33.160 had with

00:43:33.640 her

00:43:33.880 OB

00:43:34.560 and the

00:43:35.000 doctor

00:43:35.300 told her

00:43:35.900 her words

00:43:37.300 not mine

00:43:39.720 that

00:43:40.160 some

00:43:41.040 things

00:43:41.260 that we

00:43:41.500 didn't

00:43:41.800 realize

00:43:42.400 but the

00:43:42.800 doctor

00:43:43.240 followed up

00:43:44.020 with us

00:43:44.320 about

00:43:44.680 that they

00:43:45.180 had learned

00:43:45.760 during the

00:43:46.960 delivery

00:43:47.420 could have

00:43:49.480 caused

00:43:49.720 complications

00:43:50.420 if the

00:43:51.480 pregnancy

00:43:51.880 would have

00:43:52.540 gone

00:43:52.880 further

00:43:53.540 out

00:43:54.160 in the

00:43:56.820 doctor's

00:43:57.260 words

00:43:57.660 not mine

00:43:58.860 she said

00:43:59.680 it's a

00:44:01.460 miracle

00:44:01.820 that

00:44:02.720 everything

00:44:03.400 just

00:44:04.180 happened

00:44:04.680 the way

00:44:05.980 it was

00:44:06.600 supposed

00:44:06.980 to

00:44:07.260 and

00:44:09.300 baby

00:44:09.560 safe

00:44:10.040 and

00:44:10.780 baby's

00:44:11.160 fine

00:44:11.540 she's

00:44:13.520 perfect

00:44:14.000 she was

00:44:16.220 just a

00:44:16.600 little

00:44:16.800 early

00:44:17.240 and a

00:44:18.940 little

00:44:19.080 impatient

00:44:19.600 and

00:44:22.480 thanks

00:44:23.100 by the

00:44:24.020 way

00:44:24.440 to this

00:44:26.800 audience

00:44:27.400 to Glenn

00:44:29.060 himself

00:44:29.580 who

00:44:30.120 asked

00:44:31.320 this

00:44:31.740 audience

00:44:32.180 to pray

00:44:32.900 a day

00:44:36.260 that my

00:44:36.600 wife's

00:44:36.980 water

00:44:37.180 broke

00:44:37.560 I want

00:44:41.000 to tell

00:44:41.280 you that

00:44:41.580 those

00:44:41.800 prayers

00:44:42.280 worked

00:44:43.980 that

00:44:46.880 prayers

00:44:47.340 do

00:44:48.840 and why

00:44:52.440 I think

00:44:52.800 that's so

00:44:53.300 important

00:44:53.880 my

00:44:56.680 perspective

00:44:57.400 on this

00:44:57.920 last year

00:44:58.580 my perspective

00:44:59.620 of what

00:45:00.060 I've gone

00:45:00.460 through

00:45:00.680 recently

00:45:01.120 and what

00:45:01.500 we'll have

00:45:01.980 to continue

00:45:02.500 to fight

00:45:02.920 through

00:45:03.140 is this

00:45:03.660 when the

00:45:05.860 clarity

00:45:06.220 comes

00:45:06.860 during

00:45:07.700 these

00:45:07.980 times

00:45:08.480 and it

00:45:09.080 will

00:45:09.480 it

00:45:11.300 gives

00:45:11.760 you

00:45:12.160 an

00:45:14.920 advantage

00:45:15.600 a vision

00:45:18.320 a viewpoint

00:45:19.140 that

00:45:20.160 perspective

00:45:20.920 that

00:45:23.880 really

00:45:24.320 counts

00:45:24.880 because

00:45:27.660 when you

00:45:28.120 can see

00:45:28.600 crystal

00:45:29.020 clear

00:45:29.440 and they

00:45:30.080 say

00:45:30.260 hindsight

00:45:30.620 is

00:45:30.900 2020

00:45:31.380 well you

00:45:33.940 can look

00:45:34.300 back on

00:45:34.780 this year

00:45:35.280 and even

00:45:35.860 in the

00:45:36.200 moments

00:45:36.560 that we're

00:45:36.900 facing

00:45:37.260 on a

00:45:37.540 daily

00:45:37.740 basis

00:45:38.120 and know

00:45:38.660 what

00:45:39.000 matters

00:45:39.500 most

00:45:40.180 because

00:45:41.500 you've

00:45:41.820 been

00:45:41.980 tested

00:45:42.380 but

00:45:43.960 then

00:45:44.160 know

00:45:44.620 that

00:45:45.640 with

00:45:45.840 faith

00:45:46.600 that

00:45:49.500 even

00:45:49.840 some

00:45:50.260 of the

00:45:50.560 darkest

00:45:51.020 days

00:45:51.660 you

00:45:52.120 can

00:45:52.300 find

00:45:53.000 some

00:45:54.520 bright

00:45:54.780 moments

00:45:55.300 you

00:45:56.760 can

00:45:56.940 find

00:45:57.580 some

00:45:58.360 good

00:45:58.780 in

00:45:59.320 all

00:45:59.540 of

00:45:59.680 them

00:45:59.880 and

00:46:01.440 that

00:46:01.600 good

00:46:01.780 will

00:46:02.060 come

00:46:02.480 as

00:46:05.960 I

00:46:06.100 said

00:46:06.340 before

00:46:06.800 you

00:46:07.160 know

00:46:07.260 my

00:46:07.520 faith

00:46:08.000 that

00:46:09.100 no

00:46:09.260 matter

00:46:09.440 what

00:46:09.680 happens

00:46:10.040 around

00:46:10.380 us

00:46:10.660 with

00:46:11.160 the

00:46:11.820 election

00:46:12.380 and

00:46:14.300 politics

00:46:15.040 that

00:46:16.380 no

00:46:16.520 matter

00:46:16.720 what

00:46:16.980 happens

00:46:17.420 and

00:46:17.720 no

00:46:17.880 matter

00:46:18.180 how

00:46:18.480 bad

00:46:18.780 it

00:46:18.940 gets

00:46:19.220 that

00:46:19.720 God

00:46:20.020 is

00:46:20.180 still

00:46:20.380 in

00:46:20.540 control

00:46:20.960 and

00:46:21.220 he's

00:46:21.500 still

00:46:21.760 on

00:46:22.060 the

00:46:22.220 throne

00:46:22.660 that's

00:46:23.800 the

00:46:23.940 comfort

00:46:24.380 that

00:46:25.420 gets

00:46:25.600 me

00:46:25.800 through

00:46:26.140 but

00:46:27.980 why

00:46:28.360 do

00:46:28.680 these

00:46:29.080 things

00:46:29.440 matter

00:46:29.860 because

00:46:30.720 if you

00:46:31.060 don't

00:46:31.340 know

00:46:31.500 what

00:46:31.680 matters

00:46:32.000 most

00:46:32.520 and

00:46:33.480 if

00:46:33.600 you

00:46:33.720 don't

00:46:34.160 understand

00:46:35.080 what

00:46:38.080 makes

00:46:38.340 you

00:46:38.480 tick

00:46:38.820 if

00:46:41.740 you

00:46:41.880 don't

00:46:42.400 have

00:46:43.440 those

00:46:43.740 priorities

00:46:44.660 and

00:46:47.340 those

00:46:47.560 values

00:46:48.180 locked

00:46:48.580 in

00:46:49.000 then

00:46:52.640 when

00:46:52.820 you

00:46:52.960 hit

00:46:53.220 the

00:46:53.400 real

00:46:53.680 hard

00:46:53.960 times

00:46:54.380 and

00:46:54.600 I

00:46:54.840 don't

00:46:54.980 even

00:46:55.180 think

00:46:55.420 we've

00:46:55.680 seen

00:46:55.920 those

00:46:56.460 just

00:46:59.260 quite

00:46:59.640 yet

00:47:00.040 but

00:47:05.020 if

00:47:05.180 they

00:47:05.340 do

00:47:05.580 come

00:47:06.180 will

00:47:07.540 you

00:47:07.700 be

00:47:07.920 prepared

00:47:08.500 because

00:47:11.080 if

00:47:11.300 you

00:47:11.400 don't

00:47:11.600 know

00:47:11.800 who

00:47:12.040 you

00:47:12.260 are

00:47:12.480 what

00:47:12.700 makes

00:47:12.980 you

00:47:13.160 tick

00:47:13.380 you

00:47:13.580 cannot

00:47:14.140 stand

00:47:14.880 and

00:47:17.740 we're

00:47:17.900 starting

00:47:18.200 to

00:47:18.380 see

00:47:18.580 people

00:47:18.940 already

00:47:19.440 fall

00:47:23.260 back

00:47:23.700 in

00:47:24.040 many

00:47:24.220 different

00:47:34.260 we'll

00:47:36.860 bit

00:47:37.020 about

00:47:37.260 what

00:49:07.360 on

00:49:07.560 is

00:49:07.680 a lot

00:49:07.960 of

00:49:08.060 people

00:49:08.240 we've

00:49:11.240 I've

00:49:11.480 following

00:49:11.740 a little

00:49:11.960 closer

00:49:12.300 because

00:49:12.500 I'm

00:49:12.640 here

00:49:12.780 in

00:49:12.900 Michigan

00:49:13.160 and

00:49:13.340 your

00:49:13.880 the

00:49:31.120 say

00:49:31.320 different

00:49:31.760 and

00:49:32.340 I

00:49:32.440 think

00:49:32.580 it's

00:49:32.760 important

00:49:33.080 to

00:49:33.260 hear

00:49:33.400 from

00:49:33.620 people

00:49:33.980 like

00:49:35.160 you

00:49:35.460 and

00:49:36.120 to

00:49:36.260 find

00:49:36.480 out

00:49:36.740 what

00:49:37.320 what

00:49:37.800 happened

00:49:38.220 and

00:49:38.760 why

00:49:39.080 aren't

00:49:39.200 we

00:49:39.340 hearing

00:49:39.580 about

00:49:39.900 it

00:49:40.020 so

00:49:40.180 Matt

00:49:40.380 let's

00:49:40.600 start

00:49:40.860 with

00:49:41.160 where

00:49:41.860 this

00:49:42.120 lawsuit

00:49:42.520 came

00:49:42.920 from

00:49:43.300 because

00:49:44.340 I

00:49:44.500 think

00:49:44.620 that's

00:49:44.840 an

00:49:44.940 interesting

00:49:45.240 story

00:49:45.640 in

00:49:45.780 itself

00:49:46.200 sure

00:49:48.480 I

00:49:48.800 agree

00:49:49.540 with

00:49:49.760 you

00:49:49.880 I

00:49:49.980 think

00:49:53.560 because

00:49:54.020 my

00:49:54.320 client

00:49:54.840 William

00:49:55.340 Bailey

00:49:55.740 who's

00:49:56.120 a

00:49:56.260 resident

00:49:56.620 of

00:49:57.060 Antrim

00:49:57.540 County

00:49:58.000 a

00:49:58.220 small

00:49:58.500 little

00:49:58.720 county

00:49:59.060 in

00:49:59.240 northern

00:49:59.540 Michigan

00:49:59.980 he

00:50:01.060 had

00:50:01.300 questions

00:50:01.920 about

00:50:02.580 whether

00:50:03.060 his

00:50:03.400 vote

00:50:03.740 counted

00:50:04.200 in

00:50:04.660 this

00:50:05.560 election

00:50:06.100 because

00:50:07.300 on

00:50:08.440 November

00:50:09.300 3rd

00:50:09.980 Antrim

00:50:10.420 County

00:50:10.980 a

00:50:11.380 county

00:50:11.760 that's

00:50:12.080 normally

00:50:12.480 65%

00:50:14.400 red

00:50:15.340 went

00:50:16.580 for

00:50:16.900 Joe

00:50:17.280 Biden

00:50:17.660 he

00:50:18.260 won

00:50:18.540 the

00:50:18.720 state

00:50:19.080 with

00:50:19.620 65%

00:50:20.540 of

00:50:20.700 the

00:50:20.820 vote

00:50:21.060 and

00:50:21.820 that

00:50:22.040 didn't

00:50:22.460 make

00:50:23.200 sense

00:50:23.540 two

00:50:23.780 people

00:50:24.200 in

00:50:24.460 Antrim

00:50:24.840 County

00:50:25.260 so

00:50:26.260 he

00:50:26.480 contacted

00:50:27.100 the

00:50:27.660 county

00:50:28.680 clerk

00:50:29.180 and

00:50:29.440 had

00:50:30.060 questions

00:50:30.660 about

00:50:31.060 the

00:50:31.260 election

00:50:31.700 she

00:50:32.020 had

00:50:32.260 to

00:50:32.420 investigate

00:50:32.960 because

00:50:33.520 she

00:50:34.240 didn't

00:50:34.480 even

00:50:34.760 realize

00:50:35.280 something

00:50:35.540 went

00:50:35.780 wrong

00:50:36.120 she

00:50:36.320 just

00:50:36.560 believed

00:50:37.220 the

00:50:37.520 machines

00:50:38.120 so

00:50:39.640 she

00:50:40.100 had

00:50:40.320 to

00:50:40.440 do

00:50:40.580 a

00:50:40.760 recount

00:50:41.220 of

00:50:41.840 parts

00:50:42.800 of

00:50:42.940 that

00:50:43.140 county

00:50:43.460 and

00:50:43.640 found

00:50:43.920 out

00:50:44.140 that

00:50:44.340 the

00:50:44.920 machines

00:50:45.320 were

00:50:45.560 wrong

00:50:46.080 and

00:50:46.380 that

00:50:46.740 Donald

00:50:48.020 Trump

00:50:48.360 actually

00:50:48.820 won

00:50:49.120 the

00:50:49.280 county

00:50:49.600 by

00:50:50.340 the

00:50:50.520 historic

00:50:51.160 typical

00:50:52.020 margin

00:50:52.440 of

00:50:52.660 65%

00:50:53.520 we also

00:50:55.140 knew that

00:50:55.780 in one

00:50:56.660 precinct

00:50:57.260 where

00:50:57.500 Mr.

00:50:57.920 Bailey

00:50:58.200 votes

00:50:58.900 three

00:50:59.800 ballots

00:51:00.240 were

00:51:00.500 destroyed

00:51:01.080 and there

00:51:01.520 were some

00:51:02.000 significant

00:51:02.740 questions

00:51:03.380 regarding

00:51:03.980 down

00:51:04.800 ballot

00:51:05.140 races

00:51:05.580 so we

00:51:06.320 filed a

00:51:06.900 lawsuit

00:51:07.260 on November

00:51:08.000 23rd

00:51:09.020 and asked

00:51:10.100 the judge

00:51:10.600 to enter

00:51:11.420 an injunction

00:51:12.680 allowing us

00:51:13.660 to go into

00:51:14.380 Antrim

00:51:14.860 County

00:51:15.300 and take

00:51:16.340 forensic

00:51:16.820 images

00:51:17.360 of the

00:51:18.140 computer

00:51:18.620 software

00:51:19.180 and he

00:51:20.740 granted

00:51:21.140 that

00:51:21.460 request

00:51:22.080 and what's

00:51:22.560 interesting

00:51:22.940 about it

00:51:23.580 is because

00:51:24.300 we were

00:51:26.280 challenging

00:51:26.740 down

00:51:27.140 ballot

00:51:27.480 races

00:51:27.960 we

00:51:28.720 weren't

00:51:29.020 Donald

00:51:29.380 Trump

00:51:29.820 we

00:51:30.480 weren't

00:51:30.860 a part

00:51:32.000 of his

00:51:32.360 legal

00:51:32.680 team

00:51:33.080 no one

00:51:34.020 knew

00:51:34.200 about

00:51:34.480 the

00:51:34.680 case

00:51:34.960 and

00:51:35.140 frankly

00:51:35.480 no

00:51:35.800 one

00:51:36.000 cared

00:51:36.560 and

00:51:37.640 they

00:51:37.760 didn't

00:51:38.020 care

00:51:38.320 about

00:51:38.580 the

00:51:38.800 case

00:51:39.160 until

00:51:39.520 they

00:51:39.760 realized

00:51:40.480 that

00:51:41.260 on

00:51:41.440 December

00:51:41.880 3rd

00:51:42.480 a chilly

00:51:43.400 sunny

00:51:43.800 Sunday

00:51:44.420 morning

00:51:44.880 in

00:51:45.240 Antrim

00:51:46.000 County

00:51:46.440 my

00:51:47.440 team

00:51:47.880 of

00:51:48.100 seven

00:51:48.500 forensic

00:51:49.020 experts

00:51:49.680 flew

00:51:50.100 into

00:51:50.620 Antrim

00:51:51.300 County

00:51:51.780 and

00:51:52.440 we

00:51:52.580 were

00:51:52.780 in

00:51:52.920 the

00:51:53.080 county

00:51:53.380 building

00:51:53.920 collecting

00:51:54.560 forensic

00:51:55.140 images

00:51:55.620 of

00:51:56.540 the

00:51:56.700 master

00:51:57.100 tabulator

00:51:57.880 16

00:51:58.560 thumb

00:51:58.980 drives

00:51:59.380 16

00:52:00.000 data

00:52:01.100 cards

00:52:01.580 that's

00:52:02.300 when

00:52:02.440 the

00:52:02.620 media

00:52:02.920 finally

00:52:03.440 started

00:52:03.840 to

00:52:04.060 figure

00:52:04.280 out

00:52:04.580 what

00:52:04.760 we

00:52:04.940 were

00:52:05.080 doing

00:52:05.440 yeah

00:52:07.940 interesting

00:52:08.680 because

00:52:09.100 you said

00:52:09.480 this

00:52:09.640 down

00:52:09.960 ballot

00:52:10.260 races

00:52:10.600 were

00:52:10.820 being

00:52:11.120 challenged

00:52:11.760 what

00:52:12.480 was

00:52:12.900 the

00:52:13.060 race

00:52:13.280 specifically

00:52:13.820 since

00:52:14.120 it

00:52:14.260 wasn't

00:52:14.600 the

00:52:14.840 presidential

00:52:15.180 race

00:52:15.640 it

00:52:16.540 was

00:52:16.640 a

00:52:16.780 school

00:52:17.000 board

00:52:17.320 race

00:52:17.680 that

00:52:19.420 had

00:52:21.900 significant

00:52:23.120 problems

00:52:23.800 there

00:52:23.980 were

00:52:24.060 actually

00:52:24.320 two

00:52:24.620 school

00:52:24.940 board

00:52:25.220 races

00:52:25.580 in

00:52:25.800 that

00:52:26.060 precinct

00:52:26.840 in

00:52:27.520 one

00:52:27.780 of

00:52:27.900 those

00:52:28.100 school

00:52:28.380 board

00:52:29.380 races

00:52:29.760 only

00:52:30.340 six

00:52:30.820 people

00:52:31.280 were

00:52:31.540 eligible

00:52:31.980 to

00:52:32.400 vote

00:52:32.860 in

00:52:33.640 that

00:52:33.900 race

00:52:34.400 and

00:52:35.540 yet

00:52:35.840 hundreds

00:52:36.620 were

00:52:37.200 recorded

00:52:37.740 as

00:52:38.020 actually

00:52:38.560 voting

00:52:39.120 and

00:52:40.380 that

00:52:40.580 didn't

00:52:40.820 make

00:52:41.060 any

00:52:41.320 sense

00:52:41.740 so

00:52:42.260 on

00:52:42.900 the

00:52:43.080 recount

00:52:44.200 on

00:52:44.800 November

00:52:45.180 5th

00:52:45.900 they

00:52:46.700 had

00:52:46.920 to

00:52:47.060 correct

00:52:47.440 that

00:52:47.800 and

00:52:48.360 show

00:52:49.560 the

00:52:49.780 people

00:52:50.240 in

00:52:50.420 Antrim

00:52:50.700 County

00:52:51.120 that

00:52:51.420 votes

00:52:52.880 had

00:52:53.680 been

00:52:53.940 stored

00:52:54.640 essentially

00:52:55.340 in

00:52:56.260 these

00:52:56.500 down

00:52:56.800 ballot

00:52:57.120 school

00:52:57.640 board

00:52:58.000 races

00:52:58.460 and

00:53:00.060 had

00:53:00.560 to be

00:53:00.880 reallocated

00:53:01.780 then to

00:53:02.300 the

00:53:02.500 proper

00:53:02.980 races

00:53:03.520 and

00:53:04.920 that

00:53:05.180 didn't

00:53:05.360 make

00:53:05.580 sense

00:53:05.840 to a

00:53:06.160 lot

00:53:06.300 of

00:53:06.460 people

00:53:06.760 so

00:53:07.060 we

00:53:07.360 that's

00:53:09.040 one of

00:53:09.280 the

00:53:09.420 reasons

00:53:09.680 we

00:53:09.880 brought

00:53:10.140 suit

00:53:10.500 so

00:53:11.540 you

00:53:12.100 actually

00:53:12.560 got

00:53:12.840 to

00:53:12.960 take

00:53:13.120 a

00:53:13.260 look

00:53:13.460 at

00:53:13.600 what's

00:53:14.400 in

00:53:14.760 these

00:53:15.120 voting

00:53:16.180 machines

00:53:16.660 what

00:53:17.540 was

00:53:17.980 in

00:53:18.160 those

00:53:18.400 machines

00:53:18.800 coming

00:53:19.120 up

00:53:19.340 next

00:53:19.700 we'll

00:53:19.920 find

00:53:20.240 out

00:53:20.560 Matt

00:53:20.880 hang

00:53:21.080 on

00:53:21.180 the

00:53:21.280 phone

00:53:21.460 with

00:53:21.640 us

00:53:21.880 and

00:53:22.940 also

00:53:23.420 let's

00:53:23.860 talk

00:53:24.140 about

00:53:24.400 this

00:53:24.620 fight

00:53:25.060 because

00:53:26.200 it

00:53:26.380 hasn't

00:53:26.680 all

00:53:26.980 been

00:53:27.360 an

00:53:28.740 easy

00:53:28.980 road

00:53:29.480 the

00:53:30.200 challenges

00:53:30.740 that

00:53:31.820 continue

00:53:32.280 to

00:53:32.480 come

00:53:50.660 I

00:53:50.760 just

00:53:51.880 my

00:53:52.800 something

00:53:53.900 very

00:53:54.220 strange

00:53:54.620 is

00:53:57.540 I

00:53:58.380 guess

00:53:58.680 the

00:53:59.140 folks

00:53:59.400 are

00:53:59.520 getting

00:54:01.280 clue

00:54:01.600 why

00:54:01.880 I'm

00:54:02.020 sure

00:54:02.120 it

00:54:39.040 if

00:54:39.240 you

00:54:39.860 it's

00:54:41.640 where

00:54:41.920 irregularities

00:54:43.140 were

00:54:43.740 discovered

00:54:44.140 traditionally

00:54:45.360 this is

00:54:47.280 a county

00:54:47.680 that has

00:54:48.100 swung

00:54:48.580 mostly

00:54:49.980 Republican

00:54:50.580 it

00:54:52.580 generally

00:54:52.920 does

00:54:53.420 but in

00:54:54.700 this last

00:54:55.220 election

00:54:55.660 using

00:54:56.820 Dominion

00:54:57.380 voting

00:54:57.720 machines

00:54:58.240 it

00:54:58.900 went

00:54:59.100 the

00:54:59.280 other

00:54:59.480 way

00:54:59.920 and

00:55:02.400 at

00:55:02.640 first

00:55:02.920 glance

00:55:03.340 they

00:55:03.600 didn't

00:55:03.780 know

00:55:04.000 why

00:55:04.320 what

00:55:04.540 happened

00:55:05.040 well

00:55:05.260 the

00:55:05.420 secretary

00:55:05.780 of

00:55:06.020 state

00:55:06.220 here

00:55:06.360 in

00:55:06.480 Michigan

00:55:06.720 says

00:55:07.160 well

00:55:07.600 that

00:55:07.800 was

00:55:08.000 a

00:55:08.860 human

00:55:09.160 error

00:55:09.500 but

00:55:11.460 this

00:55:11.660 attorney

00:55:12.000 along

00:55:12.300 with

00:55:12.480 his

00:55:12.640 client

00:55:13.080 wanted

00:55:14.240 to

00:55:14.400 take

00:55:14.580 a

00:55:14.700 closer

00:55:15.000 look

00:55:15.480 specifically

00:55:16.340 because

00:55:16.740 of

00:55:16.880 a

00:55:17.000 school

00:55:17.220 board

00:55:17.480 race

00:55:17.780 there

00:55:18.060 so

00:55:20.960 they

00:55:21.160 were

00:55:21.340 able

00:55:21.560 to

00:55:21.860 they

00:55:23.120 were

00:55:23.280 able

00:55:23.440 to

00:55:23.620 get

00:55:23.800 in

00:55:24.080 and

00:55:24.640 take

00:55:24.880 a

00:55:25.020 look

00:55:25.240 at

00:55:26.020 those

00:55:26.320 machines

00:55:26.900 and

00:55:30.040 what

00:55:30.200 they

00:55:30.360 found

00:55:30.840 was

00:55:32.360 quite

00:55:32.620 astounding

00:55:33.140 what

00:55:35.060 they

00:55:35.240 found

00:55:35.680 I

00:55:36.080 think

00:55:36.400 is

00:55:37.000 something

00:55:37.660 that's

00:55:38.660 even

00:55:38.860 more

00:55:39.340 astounding

00:55:40.740 is

00:55:40.940 that

00:55:41.280 it's

00:55:41.440 not

00:55:41.620 being

00:55:41.840 covered

00:55:42.240 not

00:55:46.480 just

00:55:47.160 what

00:55:48.760 they

00:55:48.960 found

00:55:49.500 but

00:55:50.900 the

00:55:51.080 fact

00:55:51.380 that

00:55:51.680 you're

00:55:53.380 not

00:55:53.560 hearing

00:55:53.820 about

00:55:54.140 it

00:55:54.640 well

00:55:57.620 that's

00:55:58.000 to me

00:55:58.400 the real

00:55:58.720 troubling

00:55:59.040 part

00:55:59.420 if

00:56:02.820 you

00:56:02.960 watch

00:56:03.260 a

00:56:03.380 network

00:56:03.840 any

00:56:05.100 of

00:56:05.340 them

00:56:05.800 or

00:56:06.080 you

00:56:06.220 read

00:56:06.600 these

00:56:06.820 traditional

00:56:07.440 newspapers

00:56:09.860 or

00:56:11.220 go to

00:56:11.420 the

00:56:11.520 old

00:56:11.700 sources

00:56:12.180 you're

00:56:13.740 just

00:56:13.880 not

00:56:14.080 going

00:56:14.220 to

00:56:14.300 hear

00:56:14.520 it

00:56:14.780 and

00:56:16.480 why

00:56:16.660 is

00:56:16.880 that

00:56:17.200 Matt

00:56:18.420 himself

00:56:18.840 is

00:56:19.040 actually

00:56:19.340 facing

00:56:19.780 resistance

00:56:20.460 some

00:56:22.260 of the

00:56:22.440 things

00:56:22.640 that I

00:56:22.920 think

00:56:23.080 have

00:56:23.200 happened

00:56:23.480 with

00:56:23.760 this

00:56:24.260 story

00:56:24.540 with

00:56:24.720 him

00:56:24.900 I

00:56:25.060 think

00:56:25.240 are

00:56:25.600 quite

00:56:25.840 interesting

00:56:26.180 we'll

00:56:26.400 get

00:56:26.540 into

00:56:26.720 that

00:56:26.980 coming

00:56:27.240 up

00:56:27.420 in

00:56:27.520 just

00:56:27.780 a

00:56:27.940 second

00:56:28.220 Matt

00:56:29.360 DiPerno

00:56:29.740 back

00:56:29.980 with

00:56:30.160 us

00:56:30.300 right

00:56:30.460 now

00:56:30.600 Matt

00:56:30.900 what

00:56:31.160 so

00:56:31.440 what

00:56:31.860 did

00:56:32.040 they

00:56:32.180 find

00:56:32.600 when

00:56:32.780 they

00:56:32.940 got

00:56:33.220 in

00:56:33.480 and

00:56:33.640 did

00:56:33.780 this

00:56:34.080 this

00:56:34.480 this

00:56:34.580 kind

00:56:36.240 of

00:56:36.320 look

00:56:36.440 under

00:56:36.620 the

00:56:36.760 hood

00:56:36.900 with

00:56:37.120 the

00:56:37.280 Dominion

00:56:37.620 machines

00:56:38.000 and

00:56:38.120 the

00:56:38.240 software

00:56:38.600 well

00:56:39.820 what

00:56:40.020 they

00:56:40.160 found

00:56:40.560 is

00:56:40.820 that

00:56:41.080 the

00:56:41.500 Dominion

00:56:42.520 machine

00:56:43.220 intentionally

00:56:44.840 and

00:56:45.760 purposely

00:56:46.300 is

00:56:47.600 designed

00:56:48.100 to

00:56:48.360 generate

00:56:48.960 errors

00:56:49.720 when

00:56:50.520 you

00:56:50.660 run

00:56:51.000 a

00:56:51.200 ballot

00:56:51.500 into

00:56:51.940 the

00:56:52.140 machine

00:56:52.660 that

00:56:52.980 ballot

00:56:53.360 is

00:56:53.540 paper

00:56:54.060 that

00:56:55.020 machine

00:56:55.660 converts

00:56:56.240 that

00:56:56.500 paper

00:56:56.800 ballot

00:56:57.220 to

00:56:57.500 data

00:56:58.100 and

00:56:58.780 that

00:56:58.980 data

00:56:59.300 can

00:56:59.560 be

00:56:59.760 manipulated

00:57:00.360 so

00:57:01.580 we

00:57:02.020 found

00:57:02.500 that

00:57:02.980 the

00:57:03.640 machine

00:57:04.140 itself

00:57:04.880 generates

00:57:06.080 errors

00:57:06.600 when you

00:57:07.020 run a

00:57:07.480 ballot

00:57:07.780 through

00:57:08.120 the

00:57:08.300 machine

00:57:08.780 and

00:57:09.120 those

00:57:09.420 ballots

00:57:09.920 that

00:57:12.320 generate

00:57:12.740 errors

00:57:13.240 are

00:57:13.980 put

00:57:14.380 into

00:57:14.800 a

00:57:15.180 folder

00:57:15.560 that's

00:57:15.900 called

00:57:16.100 an

00:57:16.240 adjudication

00:57:17.040 folder

00:57:17.560 and

00:57:34.600 to

00:57:34.820 be

00:57:35.000 the

00:57:35.280 intent

00:57:35.800 of

00:57:36.220 the

00:57:36.480 dominion

00:57:37.120 voting

00:57:37.480 machine

00:57:37.940 to

00:57:38.700 allow

00:57:39.140 people

00:57:39.560 to

00:57:39.820 manipulate

00:57:40.360 ballots

00:57:41.000 with

00:57:41.280 no

00:57:41.600 oversight

00:57:42.240 or

00:57:42.540 transparency

00:57:43.380 and

00:57:43.960 no

00:57:44.240 audit

00:57:44.600 trail

00:57:44.980 let me

00:57:45.980 get this

00:57:46.260 straight 0.70

00:57:46.460 you're

00:57:46.820 saying

00:57:47.120 that

00:57:47.480 somebody

00:57:48.040 can

00:57:48.620 log

00:57:49.260 in

00:57:49.620 from

00:57:50.360 anywhere

00:57:50.700 even

00:57:51.520 overseas

00:57:52.720 and

00:57:54.140 without

00:57:55.280 anybody

00:57:55.680 knowing

00:57:56.140 that

00:57:56.340 it's

00:57:56.500 done

00:57:56.900 rule

00:57:57.840 a

00:57:58.280 ballot

00:57:58.800 proper

00:58:01.160 or not

00:58:01.900 and

00:58:02.260 in

00:58:02.540 essence

00:58:03.100 get

00:58:04.360 rid

00:58:04.540 of

00:58:04.680 votes

00:58:05.040 altogether

00:58:06.300 re-vote

00:58:08.000 the votes

00:58:08.520 is what

00:58:08.920 they can

00:58:09.360 do

00:58:09.740 and

00:58:10.120 they

00:58:10.260 re-vote

00:58:10.800 the votes

00:58:13.940 so you

00:58:14.380 get a

00:58:15.320 ballot

00:58:15.700 that generates

00:58:16.440 an error

00:58:17.060 that ballot

00:58:17.860 goes to

00:58:18.400 adjudication

00:58:19.300 that person

00:58:20.480 on the

00:58:20.820 other

00:58:21.020 side

00:58:21.320 of

00:58:21.420 the

00:58:21.560 screen

00:58:21.940 is able

00:58:22.480 then

00:58:22.820 to

00:58:23.040 determine

00:58:23.660 how

00:58:24.460 to

00:58:24.700 vote

00:58:24.940 that

00:58:25.200 ballot

00:58:25.660 based

00:58:26.160 on

00:58:26.780 how

00:58:27.020 they

00:58:27.260 perceive

00:58:27.760 the

00:58:28.020 voter

00:58:28.320 intended

00:58:28.920 to

00:58:29.200 vote

00:58:29.520 but

00:58:30.220 they

00:58:30.380 can

00:58:30.600 do

00:58:30.840 it

00:58:31.020 in

00:58:31.260 mass

00:58:31.760 they

00:58:31.960 can

00:58:32.140 do

00:58:32.320 a

00:58:32.480 thousand

00:58:32.940 ballots

00:58:33.420 at

00:58:33.680 once

00:58:34.040 with

00:58:34.300 one

00:58:34.580 click

00:58:34.840 of

00:58:34.960 the

00:58:35.100 button

00:58:35.420 and

00:58:36.420 this

00:58:36.600 is

00:58:36.740 actually

00:58:37.100 all

00:58:37.400 laid

00:58:37.600 out

00:58:37.840 in

00:58:37.980 the

00:58:38.120 Dominion

00:58:38.660 manual

00:58:39.020 it's

00:58:39.920 not

00:58:40.080 even

00:58:40.280 a

00:58:40.480 secret

00:58:40.780 chapter

00:58:41.260 8

00:58:41.520 of

00:58:41.620 their

00:58:41.780 manual

00:58:42.220 tells

00:58:42.620 us

00:58:42.780 how

00:58:42.920 to

00:58:43.040 do

00:58:43.260 it

00:58:43.480 so

00:58:45.640 what's

00:58:45.980 your

00:58:46.200 sense

00:58:47.160 on why

00:58:47.720 people

00:58:48.160 aren't

00:58:48.380 hearing

00:58:48.540 about

00:58:48.800 this

00:58:49.080 I

00:58:49.260 mean

00:58:49.400 this

00:58:49.600 is

00:58:49.860 it's

00:58:51.600 being

00:58:52.080 reported

00:58:52.520 by

00:58:52.960 some

00:58:53.400 organizations

00:58:54.520 but

00:58:55.480 mostly

00:58:57.040 no

00:58:57.760 networks

00:58:58.260 have

00:58:58.440 touched

00:58:58.680 this

00:58:58.860 nobody's

00:58:59.320 really

00:58:59.500 coming

00:58:59.720 if

00:59:00.000 they

00:59:00.140 do

00:59:00.560 they

00:59:01.580 run

00:59:01.840 pieces

00:59:02.200 where

00:59:02.440 they

00:59:02.580 say

00:59:02.840 that

00:59:04.660 this

00:59:05.320 is

00:59:05.520 all

00:59:05.860 without

00:59:06.900 any

00:59:07.240 evidence

00:59:07.780 that

00:59:08.380 this

00:59:08.620 is

00:59:08.880 false

00:59:09.900 correct

00:59:11.740 without

00:59:12.140 ever

00:59:12.480 talking

00:59:12.900 to

00:59:13.140 me

00:59:13.400 without

00:59:13.680 ever

00:59:14.000 talking

00:59:14.340 to

00:59:14.460 my

00:59:14.660 forensic

00:59:15.080 team

00:59:15.500 the

00:59:15.700 mainstream

00:59:16.100 media

00:59:16.620 if

00:59:16.980 they

00:59:17.160 cover

00:59:17.480 it

00:59:17.660 at

00:59:17.820 all

00:59:18.120 they

00:59:18.980 claim

00:59:19.540 that

00:59:19.820 everything

00:59:20.420 in our

00:59:20.900 report

00:59:21.300 has been

00:59:21.840 debunked

00:59:22.860 but no

00:59:23.560 one's

00:59:23.820 tested it

00:59:24.500 no one

00:59:24.940 has

00:59:25.300 hired

00:59:25.960 their

00:59:26.180 own

00:59:26.500 separate

00:59:27.460 experts

00:59:28.040 no one

00:59:28.840 has

00:59:29.020 challenged

00:59:29.520 anything

00:59:30.000 in the

00:59:30.300 report

00:59:30.660 they just

00:59:31.100 say it

00:59:31.660 and we

00:59:32.340 all know

00:59:32.720 if the

00:59:33.040 mainstream

00:59:33.380 media

00:59:33.780 says it

00:59:34.360 that it

00:59:34.640 must be

00:59:35.040 true

00:59:35.440 so

00:59:36.360 that's

00:59:36.860 where we

00:59:37.200 stand

00:59:37.540 right now

00:59:38.100 one

00:59:39.360 single

00:59:43.360 regarding

00:59:43.960 this

00:59:44.260 story

00:59:44.680 and we

00:59:45.540 put this

00:59:46.040 report

00:59:46.460 out

00:59:46.840 on

00:59:47.340 December

00:59:48.220 14th

00:59:49.160 and

00:59:49.840 they've

00:59:50.400 gone

00:59:50.620 mainly

00:59:51.100 silent

00:59:51.820 about

00:59:52.380 the

00:59:52.700 entire

00:59:53.860 findings

00:59:54.520 regarding

00:59:55.520 the

00:59:55.780 intent

00:59:56.160 and the

00:59:56.480 purpose

00:59:56.860 of this

00:59:57.440 domain

00:59:57.860 have

01:00:00.360 have

01:00:00.380 have

01:00:00.400 you

01:00:00.520 been

01:00:00.700 in

01:00:00.840 contact

01:00:01.180 with

01:00:01.600 any

01:00:02.180 of

01:00:02.280 the

01:00:02.380 president's

01:00:02.880 team

01:00:03.120 and

01:00:03.340 what

01:00:04.000 have

01:00:04.080 you

01:00:04.180 heard

01:00:04.320 from

01:00:04.480 them

01:00:04.700 I

01:00:05.900 have

01:00:06.220 I've

01:00:06.480 talked

01:00:06.680 to

01:00:06.820 some

01:00:07.020 of

01:00:07.120 the

01:00:07.220 people

01:00:07.520 on

01:00:08.000 his

01:00:08.760 team

01:00:09.200 they

01:00:10.480 are

01:00:11.260 certainly

01:00:11.900 excited

01:00:13.360 and interested

01:00:13.980 about the

01:00:14.480 finding

01:00:14.880 and the

01:00:15.480 report

01:00:15.920 and

01:00:17.300 I

01:00:18.060 understand

01:00:18.740 and know

01:00:19.240 that the

01:00:19.560 president

01:00:19.900 has seen

01:00:20.480 it

01:00:20.660 people

01:00:20.920 on his

01:00:21.380 team

01:00:21.660 have seen

01:00:22.120 it

01:00:22.280 people

01:00:22.580 in

01:00:23.620 national

01:00:24.480 security

01:00:25.120 have

01:00:25.380 seen

01:00:25.700 it

01:00:25.860 and

01:00:25.980 we

01:00:26.140 even

01:00:26.400 included

01:00:27.320 parts

01:00:27.780 in

01:00:28.060 the

01:00:28.200 report

01:00:28.640 that

01:00:28.940 specifically

01:00:29.660 state

01:00:30.280 that there

01:00:31.040 was

01:00:31.340 election

01:00:32.400 interference

01:00:33.020 by foreign

01:00:33.720 governments

01:00:34.280 and

01:00:35.600 that's

01:00:36.160 important

01:00:36.520 too

01:00:36.800 but no

01:00:37.180 one

01:00:37.300 wants

01:00:37.520 to

01:00:37.660 talk

01:00:37.920 about

01:00:38.160 that

01:00:38.440 give

01:00:39.280 me

01:00:39.380 the

01:00:39.560 specifics

01:00:40.040 on

01:00:40.320 that

01:00:40.480 how

01:00:40.920 do

01:00:41.440 they

01:00:41.560 find

01:00:41.820 this

01:00:42.060 and

01:00:42.180 what

01:00:42.340 is

01:00:42.500 it

01:00:43.280 well

01:00:44.060 we

01:00:45.040 know

01:00:45.320 specifically

01:00:46.060 that

01:00:46.420 the

01:00:46.660 dominion

01:00:47.080 machine

01:00:47.420 can

01:00:47.700 connect

01:00:48.060 to

01:00:48.220 the

01:00:48.380 internet

01:00:48.740 we

01:00:49.640 know

01:00:49.880 that

01:00:50.080 the

01:00:50.280 dominion

01:00:50.820 machine

01:00:51.160 was tied

01:00:51.660 to solar

01:00:52.200 winds

01:00:52.740 we

01:00:53.380 know

01:00:53.640 that

01:00:53.960 the

01:00:54.320 dominion

01:00:54.920 machine

01:00:55.400 at least

01:00:56.060 in its

01:00:56.460 inception

01:00:56.980 was created

01:00:57.800 through the

01:00:58.340 venezuelan

01:00:58.960 government

01:00:59.360 and we

01:01:00.400 can see

01:01:00.880 internet

01:01:01.420 activity

01:01:02.640 on election

01:01:04.040 night

01:01:04.420 involving

01:01:05.160 dominion

01:01:05.680 voting

01:01:06.000 systems

01:01:06.540 and we

01:01:07.400 can see

01:01:07.780 that

01:01:08.020 internet

01:01:08.400 activity

01:01:09.120 all across

01:01:09.940 the country

01:01:10.620 and the

01:01:11.900 world

01:01:12.340 on election

01:01:14.960 night

01:01:15.260 we can see

01:01:15.860 that people

01:01:16.300 were able

01:01:16.780 to

01:01:17.400 offload

01:01:18.400 or export

01:01:20.420 data files

01:01:21.580 and

01:01:22.540 probably

01:01:23.760 manipulate

01:01:24.420 them

01:01:24.880 and

01:01:25.140 send

01:01:25.740 them

01:01:26.000 back

01:01:26.400 to

01:01:27.320 various

01:01:27.780 counties

01:01:28.200 across

01:01:28.600 the

01:01:28.840 country

01:01:29.200 this

01:01:29.720 is a

01:01:30.020 big

01:01:30.220 deal

01:01:30.600 what

01:01:30.900 we

01:01:31.060 discovered

01:01:31.540 in terms

01:01:32.480 of how

01:01:32.880 this

01:01:33.140 machine

01:01:33.540 operates

01:01:34.260 and what

01:01:34.840 its intended

01:01:35.460 function

01:01:35.980 is

01:01:36.360 this is

01:01:37.140 not a

01:01:37.440 machine

01:01:37.840 that's

01:01:38.180 designed

01:01:38.640 to count

01:01:39.740 your vote

01:01:40.360 and my

01:01:40.940 vote

01:01:41.280 and add

01:01:41.880 those up

01:01:42.420 one plus

01:01:43.320 one equals

01:01:44.000 two

01:01:44.500 that's

01:01:45.480 not the

01:01:46.160 design

01:01:46.600 or intent

01:01:47.320 of the

01:01:47.600 machine

01:01:47.960 why is

01:01:50.580 this so

01:01:50.920 important

01:01:51.380 because I

01:01:51.940 know that

01:01:52.840 folks in

01:01:53.300 this

01:01:53.520 presidential

01:01:54.020 election

01:01:54.580 may have

01:01:55.880 their thoughts

01:01:56.320 or feelings

01:01:56.720 about that

01:01:57.280 but there

01:01:58.080 are other

01:01:58.440 elections

01:01:58.880 in fact

01:01:59.340 that race

01:02:00.240 that you

01:02:00.440 talked about

01:02:00.880 with the

01:02:01.120 school board

01:02:01.580 I mean

01:02:01.820 something

01:02:02.160 is local

01:02:03.240 and is

01:02:03.820 as seemingly

01:02:05.600 insignificant

01:02:06.400 as they may

01:02:07.160 want to

01:02:07.520 say

01:02:07.820 as a

01:02:08.740 school board

01:02:09.260 race

01:02:09.640 may matter

01:02:10.980 more to

01:02:11.520 folks at

01:02:12.000 home

01:02:12.220 but you

01:02:12.540 know

01:02:12.660 those votes

01:02:13.380 are at

01:02:14.220 stake

01:02:14.420 too

01:02:14.760 all of

01:02:16.480 the

01:02:16.600 down

01:02:16.860 ballot

01:02:17.200 races

01:02:17.580 are

01:02:17.860 at

01:02:18.580 stake

01:02:18.980 we

01:02:19.200 see

01:02:19.500 this

01:02:19.820 not

01:02:20.600 just

01:02:20.820 the

01:02:21.000 presidential

01:02:21.400 election

01:02:22.120 or the

01:02:23.500 senate

01:02:23.820 races

01:02:24.240 we see

01:02:24.980 voter

01:02:25.820 manipulation

01:02:26.480 all the

01:02:27.380 way down

01:02:27.940 to the

01:02:28.400 local

01:02:28.700 level

01:02:29.080 and school

01:02:29.540 board

01:02:29.860 races

01:02:30.300 it's

01:02:31.500 happened

01:02:31.920 the entire

01:02:34.500 ballot

01:02:34.980 is what

01:02:35.400 we discovered

01:02:36.100 we've

01:02:37.040 compared

01:02:37.480 the

01:02:38.180 tapes

01:02:38.700 the

01:02:39.920 voter

01:02:40.280 tapes

01:02:40.680 from

01:02:40.980 November

01:02:41.940 3rd

01:02:42.580 to

01:02:42.740 November

01:02:43.140 5th

01:02:43.580 to

01:02:43.720 November

01:02:44.060 21st

01:02:44.740 and

01:02:45.400 every

01:02:45.760 time

01:02:46.100 they

01:02:46.280 run

01:02:46.560 the

01:02:46.740 ballots

01:02:47.120 they

01:02:47.380 get

01:02:47.600 different

01:02:48.020 results

01:02:48.600 and

01:02:50.140 they

01:02:51.380 change

01:02:52.860 the

01:02:53.140 results

01:02:53.720 through

01:02:54.320 down

01:02:54.920 ballot

01:02:55.240 school

01:02:55.540 board

01:02:55.840 races

01:02:56.200 even

01:02:56.560 people

01:02:57.840 should

01:02:58.120 be

01:02:58.300 concerned

01:02:58.720 about

01:02:59.040 this

01:02:59.260 all

01:02:59.540 about

01:02:59.820 the

01:03:00.040 country

01:03:00.460 and

01:03:01.080 in

01:03:01.260 Michigan

01:03:01.580 too

01:03:01.940 where

01:03:02.180 there's

01:03:02.420 48

01:03:03.280 counties

01:03:04.000 that

01:03:04.320 use

01:03:04.620 the

01:03:04.800 Dominion

01:03:05.280 voting

01:03:05.580 machine

01:03:06.020 and

01:03:08.100 as

01:03:08.300 you

01:03:08.420 mentioned

01:03:08.860 these

01:03:09.660 machines

01:03:10.040 are

01:03:10.200 being

01:03:10.380 used

01:03:10.640 throughout

01:03:10.840 the

01:03:11.040 country

01:03:11.320 as

01:03:11.540 well

01:03:11.760 what

01:03:11.980 kind

01:03:12.240 of

01:03:12.360 resistance

01:03:12.780 have

01:03:13.640 you

01:03:13.820 faced

01:03:14.220 Matt

01:03:14.460 I know

01:03:14.740 there's

01:03:14.980 a story

01:03:15.360 now

01:03:15.780 that the

01:03:16.720 Michigan

01:03:17.560 Attorney

01:03:18.360 General

01:03:18.840 and the

01:03:19.640 Secretary of

01:03:20.320 State

01:03:20.540 are asking

01:03:21.120 that the

01:03:22.240 Bar Association

01:03:24.400 here

01:03:24.760 start to look at

01:03:26.080 attorneys who are filing lawsuits

01:03:27.980 and what are you

01:03:29.460 what are you facing

01:03:30.320 well I would tell you this

01:03:32.800 when you file a lawsuit

01:03:35.820 we're entitled to do that

01:03:37.360 as attorneys

01:03:38.060 voters are entitled

01:03:39.300 to do that

01:03:39.960 we're entitled to

01:03:40.840 engage in a public

01:03:42.460 discourse regarding

01:03:43.680 the election

01:03:44.420 whether the election

01:03:45.860 was fair

01:03:46.560 and how it happened

01:03:47.540 and in Michigan

01:03:48.720 as a voter

01:03:49.860 you're entitled

01:03:50.680 to

01:03:51.460 oversee the vote

01:03:53.340 and be

01:03:53.920 and have

01:03:55.040 transparency

01:03:56.040 there's supposed

01:03:57.080 to be

01:03:57.380 what we call

01:03:57.980 meaningful

01:03:58.560 oversight

01:03:59.480 in the

01:03:59.920 vote

01:04:00.180 count

01:04:00.500 that's

01:04:00.800 why we

01:04:01.140 have

01:04:01.460 poll

01:04:02.100 challengers

01:04:02.700 and poll

01:04:03.300 watchers

01:04:03.880 but in the

01:04:04.840 state of

01:04:05.320 Michigan

01:04:05.740 we have

01:04:07.440 Attorney General

01:04:09.160 Dana Nessel

01:04:09.900 and Secretary

01:04:10.640 of State

01:04:11.140 Jocelyn

01:04:11.680 Benson

01:04:12.100 who don't

01:04:13.160 believe

01:04:13.560 we should

01:04:13.960 be able

01:04:14.420 to engage

01:04:15.420 in that

01:04:16.600 type of

01:04:17.300 democratic

01:04:18.440 discourse

01:04:19.320 they don't

01:04:20.060 want to

01:04:20.500 allow it

01:04:21.120 so what

01:04:21.960 they've done

01:04:22.420 in this

01:04:22.780 case

01:04:23.140 is target

01:04:23.880 me

01:04:24.280 and target

01:04:25.240 other attorneys

01:04:25.960 in the

01:04:26.320 state

01:04:26.640 who bring

01:04:27.580 these

01:04:27.860 challenges

01:04:28.400 and they're

01:04:29.400 now using

01:04:30.100 their political

01:04:30.900 muscle

01:04:31.420 to have

01:04:33.040 the Michigan

01:04:34.300 Grievance

01:04:34.980 Commission

01:04:35.420 which is

01:04:35.860 part of

01:04:36.240 the Michigan

01:04:37.560 Supreme Court

01:04:39.020 and the Michigan

01:04:39.620 State Bar

01:04:40.260 to investigate

01:04:41.660 attorneys like

01:04:42.540 myself

01:04:43.060 who file

01:04:44.200 these legitimate

01:04:44.980 claims

01:04:45.580 and what

01:04:46.500 that is

01:04:47.060 is actually

01:04:47.660 that is a

01:04:48.280 chilling

01:04:48.640 of public

01:04:49.720 discourse

01:04:50.520 they're asking

01:04:51.900 lawyers

01:04:52.500 to put

01:04:53.560 their fear

01:04:54.260 above

01:04:54.740 representing

01:04:55.380 their clients

01:04:56.220 in legitimate

01:04:57.080 litigation

01:04:57.920 and that's

01:04:59.120 wrong

01:04:59.460 what that is

01:05:00.080 is totalitarianism

01:05:01.700 that is fascism

01:05:03.080 and that's the

01:05:04.140 pressure they're

01:05:04.780 bringing on

01:05:05.440 myself right

01:05:06.720 now

01:05:06.980 they want me

01:05:07.640 to quit

01:05:08.080 the case

01:05:08.700 so Dana

01:05:09.740 Nessel

01:05:10.080 is in the

01:05:10.640 media

01:05:10.940 every day

01:05:11.820 telling lies

01:05:13.260 and spreading

01:05:15.340 spreading

01:05:16.580 this

01:05:17.040 these threats

01:05:19.000 really through

01:05:20.260 the state

01:05:21.660 run media

01:05:22.280 in the

01:05:22.660 state

01:05:23.020 Matt

01:05:25.940 are you

01:05:26.280 gonna

01:05:26.480 what are

01:05:27.280 your plans

01:05:27.760 I mentioned

01:05:28.200 this earlier

01:05:29.340 because

01:05:29.880 this is

01:05:30.940 what these

01:05:31.380 moments

01:05:31.800 that test

01:05:32.720 us

01:05:33.040 this is

01:05:33.560 why it

01:05:34.080 matters

01:05:34.400 we need

01:05:34.820 to know

01:05:35.140 who we

01:05:35.580 are

01:05:35.760 and what

01:05:35.980 we stand

01:05:36.420 for

01:05:36.740 because

01:05:37.320 when you

01:05:37.660 hit a

01:05:37.920 moment

01:05:38.140 like this

01:05:38.800 there have

01:05:39.500 been

01:05:39.720 attorneys

01:05:40.480 that were

01:05:40.960 supposed

01:05:41.340 to represent

01:05:42.180 the president

01:05:42.740 in this

01:05:43.340 election

01:05:43.680 fight

01:05:44.020 that had

01:05:44.540 to stand

01:05:44.820 down

01:05:45.020 because

01:05:45.280 they were

01:05:45.640 threatened

01:05:45.880 there were

01:05:46.280 folks

01:05:47.040 that were

01:05:47.620 here in

01:05:48.100 Michigan

01:05:48.420 and election

01:05:49.200 officials

01:05:49.700 that were

01:05:51.100 threatened

01:05:51.520 matter of

01:05:51.960 fact

01:05:52.100 there was

01:05:52.320 just an

01:05:52.620 arrest

01:05:52.940 made

01:05:53.220 here

01:05:53.540 of a

01:05:54.500 woman 0.99

01:05:55.060 who

01:05:55.260 threatened

01:05:55.680 one of

01:05:56.000 the

01:05:56.120 officials

01:05:56.540 during

01:05:57.480 the

01:05:57.660 certification

01:05:58.040 process

01:05:58.740 in

01:05:59.060 Wayne

01:05:59.260 County

01:05:59.640 well I'm

01:06:01.680 not gonna

01:06:02.020 back down

01:06:02.660 and I'm

01:06:02.920 gonna tell

01:06:03.320 you why

01:06:03.820 because

01:06:04.340 number one

01:06:05.160 that's not

01:06:05.540 in my

01:06:05.800 character

01:06:06.260 but number

01:06:06.740 two I

01:06:07.260 know that

01:06:07.700 I'm right

01:06:08.240 and I

01:06:08.560 know what

01:06:08.960 the facts

01:06:09.520 are I

01:06:09.880 know what

01:06:10.180 the evidence

01:06:10.700 is that

01:06:11.240 we discovered

01:06:11.960 I'm not

01:06:12.900 gonna back

01:06:13.440 down from 0.92

01:06:13.920 a thug 0.92

01:06:14.560 like Dana 0.92

01:06:15.340 Nessel 0.89

01:06:15.800 a fascist 0.99

01:06:17.200 like she 1.00

01:06:18.220 is

01:06:18.640 but here's

01:06:19.960 what's

01:06:20.180 more

01:06:20.540 important

01:06:20.960 I'm

01:06:21.540 gonna

01:06:21.660 continue

01:06:22.120 to wage

01:06:22.600 this

01:06:22.920 fight

01:06:23.600 because

01:06:24.140 Jocelyn

01:06:25.880 Benson

01:06:26.360 intervened

01:06:27.240 in our

01:06:27.540 case

01:06:27.900 she wanted

01:06:28.420 to be

01:06:28.700 part of

01:06:29.240 it

01:06:29.360 she filed

01:06:29.960 a motion

01:06:30.380 to come

01:06:30.860 into this

01:06:31.340 case

01:06:31.660 because she

01:06:32.640 wanted

01:06:33.040 to stop

01:06:33.820 the release

01:06:34.440 of this

01:06:34.780 report

01:06:35.260 and we

01:06:36.140 didn't let

01:06:36.660 her

01:06:36.920 and the

01:06:37.440 judge

01:06:37.720 didn't let

01:06:38.260 her

01:06:38.440 and then

01:06:38.820 we released

01:06:39.500 it

01:06:39.740 now she's 0.98

01:06:40.740 part of

01:06:41.180 the case

01:06:41.720 and she's

01:06:42.220 a defendant

01:06:42.860 and I'm

01:06:43.400 gonna take

01:06:43.820 her

01:06:43.980 deposition

01:06:44.620 but you

01:06:46.380 know what

01:06:46.660 else I

01:06:47.060 found out

01:06:47.540 when I'm

01:06:47.980 working

01:06:48.340 through this

01:06:48.840 case

01:06:49.240 is back

01:06:50.220 in November

01:06:50.940 Dana

01:06:51.960 Nessel

01:06:52.320 also

01:06:52.920 threatened

01:06:53.600 every one

01:06:55.140 of the

01:06:56.220 Michigan

01:06:56.640 Republican

01:06:57.340 legislators

01:06:58.180 she told

01:06:59.580 them if

01:07:00.080 they

01:07:00.440 investigated

01:07:01.300 this

01:07:02.240 election

01:07:02.760 if they

01:07:03.960 sought

01:07:04.440 perhaps

01:07:05.160 to not

01:07:05.800 certify

01:07:06.420 the election

01:07:07.100 they would

01:07:08.180 face

01:07:08.620 criminal

01:07:09.400 charges

01:07:10.260 that's

01:07:11.440 the

01:07:11.580 thuggery

01:07:12.740 that we're

01:07:13.200 dealing with

01:07:13.780 right now

01:07:14.340 and I'm

01:07:15.220 not gonna

01:07:15.580 back down

01:07:16.320 so we

01:07:17.620 are gonna

01:07:18.100 continue

01:07:18.560 to fight

01:07:19.180 two

01:07:20.520 great people

01:07:22.120 in the

01:07:22.460 state

01:07:22.740 two patriots

01:07:23.740 both

01:07:24.760 started

01:07:25.340 fundraising

01:07:26.020 campaigns

01:07:26.760 to help

01:07:28.220 us fight

01:07:28.740 this battle

01:07:29.960 against

01:07:30.520 Dana

01:07:30.820 Nessel

01:07:31.140 you can

01:07:44.440 and we're

01:07:44.840 gonna continue

01:07:45.440 to fight

01:07:45.900 this

01:07:46.200 and we're

01:07:46.460 not gonna

01:07:46.900 be intimidated

01:07:48.040 by fascists

01:07:50.160 Matt thank you

01:07:52.040 for taking the

01:07:52.640 time to tell us

01:07:53.320 a little bit

01:07:53.560 about this

01:07:54.020 we're sharing

01:07:55.560 your story

01:07:56.800 because it

01:07:57.400 matters

01:07:57.800 truth matters

01:07:58.660 and if there's

01:07:59.160 ever even an

01:07:59.700 appearance of

01:08:00.260 impropriety in

01:08:00.880 elections

01:08:01.200 we've lost

01:08:01.900 it we need

01:08:02.400 to have

01:08:02.800 transparency

01:08:03.820 through this

01:08:04.380 whole thing

01:08:04.840 and we

01:08:05.100 appreciate

01:08:05.640 you joining

01:08:06.280 us to share

01:08:06.800 the story

01:08:07.200 with us

01:08:07.580 thank you

01:08:08.480 I appreciate

01:08:09.200 it one more

01:08:09.760 thing if I

01:08:10.320 can if I

01:08:10.840 got one

01:08:11.200 more second

01:08:11.800 I've called

01:08:12.980 for Dana

01:08:13.500 Nessel to

01:08:14.660 step down

01:08:15.420 from her

01:08:15.880 post as

01:08:16.500 attorney general

01:08:17.280 what she

01:08:18.280 did in

01:08:18.860 threatening

01:08:19.280 attorneys

01:08:19.860 actually

01:08:20.600 violates

01:08:21.420 her oath

01:08:22.320 of office

01:08:22.880 and her

01:08:23.680 ethical

01:08:24.100 responsibility

01:08:25.020 and she

01:08:25.860 should resign

01:10:09.300 well what

01:10:13.680 are we

01:10:14.080 what are we

01:10:15.500 I just

01:10:21.440 for some

01:10:21.820 reason my

01:10:27.500 yeah

01:10:29.460 it's full

01:10:31.780 or I

01:10:32.480 have no

01:10:33.180 idea

01:10:33.580 I don't

01:10:35.260 know why

01:10:35.560 that would

01:10:50.880 it says

01:10:51.160 what do

01:10:51.380 we do

01:10:51.880 how do

01:10:55.060 we ever

01:10:55.780 some of

01:10:57.260 these stories

01:10:57.780 to be

01:10:58.140 covered

01:10:58.440 I don't

01:10:58.900 know that

01:10:59.280 they will

01:10:59.720 be

01:10:59.980 especially

01:11:02.020 by

01:11:03.840 networks

01:11:04.440 especially

01:11:05.200 by

01:11:05.780 certain

01:11:08.100 outlets

01:11:08.900 how do

01:11:12.400 you get

01:11:12.640 to the

01:11:12.920 truth

01:11:13.320 there's

01:11:18.440 let me

01:11:19.640 play you a

01:11:20.060 little audio

01:11:20.520 this came

01:11:21.020 out earlier

01:11:21.540 this week

01:11:22.160 Fox News

01:11:25.760 Peter

01:11:26.140 Doocy

01:11:26.560 asked

01:11:29.520 Biden

01:11:34.060 his son

01:11:35.520 and

01:11:39.080 thinks those

01:11:39.580 stories are

01:11:40.180 still Russian

01:11:41.040 disinformation

01:11:41.820 and this is

01:11:43.920 his answer

01:11:44.520 quite telling

01:11:46.260 everybody

01:11:46.820 thank you

01:11:48.260 here we

01:12:23.300 all I

01:12:23.480 have no

01:12:23.800 idea

01:12:24.100 what that

01:12:24.500 means

01:12:24.800 I don't

01:12:25.340 know if

01:12:25.560 he's

01:12:25.700 talking

01:12:26.000 in code

01:12:26.600 or what

01:12:28.300 he looks

01:12:30.160 like his

01:12:30.540 eyes are

01:12:30.900 kind of glazed

01:12:31.460 over

01:12:31.820 when he

01:12:33.920 sees the

01:12:34.520 guy asking

01:12:34.960 the question

01:12:35.340 like hold

01:12:35.700 on

01:12:37.840 what's

01:12:38.080 happening

01:12:38.400 these are

01:12:38.700 all supposed

01:12:39.020 to be

01:12:39.240 friendly

01:12:39.620 he gets

01:12:40.740 the question

01:12:41.240 he's like

01:12:41.520 oh it's

01:12:41.960 that guy

01:12:42.540 and

01:12:44.560 furthermore

01:12:46.400 he says

01:12:46.620 my justice

01:12:47.120 department

01:12:47.580 will be

01:12:47.900 on its

01:12:52.280 be held

01:12:52.820 to account

01:12:53.720 another

01:12:55.680 story

01:12:56.160 that's

01:12:57.240 absolutely

01:12:57.800 incredible

01:12:58.420 I don't

01:12:59.120 know if

01:12:59.320 you've

01:12:59.500 seen

01:13:00.180 out of

01:13:00.440 Georgia

01:13:00.760 this is

01:13:02.780 the race

01:13:03.540 for the

01:13:03.840 Senate

01:13:04.040 there

01:13:04.420 Democrat

01:13:05.600 candidate

01:13:06.120 Raphael

01:13:07.280 Warnock

01:13:07.920 pastor

01:13:08.940 his ex-wife

01:13:11.940 has accused

01:13:13.940 him of

01:13:14.480 driving over

01:13:15.480 her foot 0.98

01:13:16.300 now this

01:13:17.120 is some

01:13:17.420 sort of

01:13:17.720 dispute

01:13:18.080 that happened

01:13:18.720 I think

01:13:19.840 maybe the

01:13:20.260 kids were

01:13:20.580 involved

01:13:20.880 I'm not

01:13:21.160 exactly sure

01:13:21.800 how this

01:13:22.540 all played

01:13:22.940 out

01:13:23.240 but have

01:13:24.220 you heard

01:13:24.580 about

01:13:24.740 there's

01:13:25.000 not been

01:13:25.380 any

01:13:25.680 serious

01:13:26.920 coverage

01:13:27.340 of this

01:13:27.860 there's

01:13:30.800 not been

01:13:31.200 any

01:13:31.560 question

01:13:32.740 in the

01:13:33.080 media

01:13:33.340 about

01:13:33.720 what

01:13:33.980 exactly

01:13:34.400 happened

01:13:34.860 here

01:13:35.140 again

01:13:37.580 it

01:13:37.960 just

01:13:38.200 goes

01:13:38.420 to

01:13:38.580 show

01:13:38.880 that

01:13:39.280 you

01:13:39.680 know

01:13:39.840 how

01:13:41.420 this

01:13:41.660 coverage

01:13:42.020 plays

01:13:42.380 out

01:13:42.720 on

01:13:43.600 different

01:13:44.540 sides

01:13:44.920 of

01:13:45.080 different

01:13:45.300 things

01:13:45.540 well

01:13:45.740 they

01:13:45.900 they

01:13:46.200 want

01:13:46.420 you

01:13:46.520 to

01:13:46.620 know

01:13:46.760 certain

01:13:47.040 things

01:13:47.440 and

01:13:50.020 others

01:13:50.320 they

01:13:50.620 just

01:13:51.220 don't

01:13:52.500 care

01:13:53.420 to

01:13:54.540 share

01:13:54.940 the

01:13:56.060 video

01:13:56.480 is

01:13:56.940 incredible

01:13:57.500 here's

01:13:57.820 just a

01:13:58.100 little

01:13:58.240 bit

01:13:58.460 of

01:13:58.580 it

01:13:58.880 all

01:13:59.600 right

01:13:59.700 so

01:13:59.840 you

01:14:00.020 walked

01:14:00.260 over

01:14:00.560 so

01:14:00.900 I'm

01:14:01.040 like

01:14:01.160 move

01:14:01.420 and

01:14:01.600 she

01:14:01.760 won't

01:14:02.020 move

01:14:02.320 and

01:14:02.560 she's

01:14:02.760 keeping

01:14:03.020 the

01:14:03.180 door

01:14:03.360 open

01:14:03.660 this

01:14:04.080 is

01:14:04.220 from

01:14:04.440 the

01:14:04.600 police

01:14:04.900 body

01:14:05.240 cam

01:14:05.560 there

01:14:05.900 so

01:14:06.640 I'm

01:14:06.760 like

01:14:06.940 Chloe

01:14:07.280 just

01:14:07.740 stay

01:14:07.960 in

01:14:08.080 the

01:14:08.200 car

01:14:08.460 and

01:14:08.980 I

01:14:09.100 move

01:14:09.320 and

01:14:09.440 I

01:14:09.560 close

01:14:09.840 my

01:14:10.500 car

01:14:10.840 door

01:14:11.100 get

01:14:11.360 in

01:14:11.480 the

01:14:11.580 car

01:14:11.860 and

01:14:12.800 I

01:14:13.160 start

01:14:14.240 to

01:14:14.400 move

01:14:14.640 slightly

01:14:14.900 thinking

01:14:15.880 she's

01:14:16.500 here

01:14:17.840 he

01:14:18.580 explains

01:14:19.140 it

01:14:19.280 he

01:14:19.420 kind

01:14:19.620 of

01:14:19.720 gives

01:14:19.940 his

01:14:20.220 side

01:14:20.700 of

01:14:20.800 the

01:14:20.920 story

01:14:21.300 but

01:14:22.160 then

01:14:22.400 what

01:14:22.680 she

01:14:22.920 has

01:14:23.240 to

01:14:23.400 say

01:14:23.680 is

01:14:24.000 frightening

01:14:24.580 this

01:14:24.940 man's

01:14:25.240 running

01:14:25.480 for

01:14:25.700 the

01:14:25.800 United

01:14:25.980 States

01:14:26.380 Senate

01:14:26.700 and

01:14:26.900 all

01:14:27.040 he

01:14:27.180 cares

01:14:27.420 about

01:14:27.660 right

01:14:27.840 now

01:14:28.000 is

01:14:28.140 his

01:14:28.260 reputation

01:14:28.820 I

01:14:29.140 work

01:14:29.380 at

01:14:29.520 the

01:14:29.660 mayor's

01:14:30.020 office

01:14:30.260 and

01:14:30.600 this

01:14:30.800 is

01:14:30.940 a

01:14:31.060 big

01:14:31.240 problem

01:14:31.760 I've

01:14:32.720 been

01:14:32.900 trying

01:14:33.180 to

01:14:33.320 be

01:14:33.440 very

01:14:33.720 quiet

01:14:34.060 about

01:14:34.300 the

01:14:34.460 way

01:14:34.600 that

01:14:34.740 he

01:14:34.880 is

01:14:35.180 for

01:14:35.340 the

01:14:35.520 sake

01:14:35.700 of

01:14:35.840 my

01:14:36.020 kids

01:14:36.300 and

01:14:36.440 his

01:14:36.580 reputation

01:14:37.200 I've

01:14:37.680 tried

01:14:37.860 to

01:14:38.020 keep

01:14:38.220 the

01:14:38.380 way

01:14:38.520 he

01:14:38.780 acts

01:14:39.160 under

01:14:39.520 wraps

01:14:39.900 for

01:14:40.120 a long

01:14:40.480 time

01:14:40.840 and

01:14:41.080 today

01:14:41.460 he

01:14:41.760 crossed

01:14:42.100 the

01:14:42.360 line

01:14:42.760 so

01:14:44.200 that

01:14:44.500 is

01:14:44.680 what

01:14:44.860 is

01:14:45.020 going

01:14:45.300 on

01:14:45.600 here

01:14:45.880 and

01:14:46.100 he's

01:14:46.300 a

01:14:46.420 great

01:14:46.720 actor

01:14:47.240 he

01:14:47.760 is

01:14:47.980 phenomenal

01:14:48.600 at

01:14:49.080 putting

01:14:49.340 on

01:14:49.540 a

01:14:49.680 really

01:14:49.880 good

01:14:50.160 show

01:14:50.540 that

01:14:51.560 is

01:14:51.980 heartbreaking

01:14:52.980 and

01:14:54.400 I don't

01:14:54.540 know

01:14:54.640 what

01:14:54.800 happened

01:14:55.240 obviously

01:14:57.560 we

01:14:57.780 weren't

01:14:58.020 there

01:14:58.320 but

01:15:00.960 the

01:15:01.120 fact

01:15:01.360 that

01:15:01.520 it

01:15:01.660 it's

01:15:02.100 not

01:15:02.320 covered

01:15:02.660 is

01:15:02.900 serious

01:15:03.520 what

01:15:05.280 do

01:15:05.420 you

01:15:05.540 do

01:15:05.740 I

01:15:05.880 had

01:15:05.980 a

01:15:06.060 call

01:15:06.220 from

01:15:06.420 somebody

01:15:06.780 yesterday

01:15:07.180 what

01:15:08.440 are

01:15:08.640 we

01:15:08.840 supposed

01:15:09.140 to

01:15:09.420 do

01:15:09.560 what

01:15:09.800 can

01:15:10.200 we

01:15:10.420 do

01:15:10.640 I

01:15:10.860 hear

01:15:11.080 the

01:15:11.260 desperation

01:15:11.860 I

01:15:14.900 hear

01:15:15.220 your

01:15:15.620 voice

01:15:16.060 I

01:15:16.420 understand

01:15:17.140 I

01:15:17.720 feel

01:15:18.960 the

01:15:19.160 same

01:15:19.380 way

01:15:19.780 what

01:15:20.380 can

01:15:20.720 we

01:15:20.900 do

01:15:21.240 I'm

01:15:22.500 going

01:15:22.600 to

01:15:22.700 tell

01:15:22.900 you

01:15:23.200 what

01:15:24.920 I

01:15:25.040 told

01:15:25.260 him

01:15:25.420 yesterday

01:15:25.860 we've

01:15:30.440 got to

01:15:30.740 stay

01:15:30.920 engaged

01:15:31.420 we've

01:15:32.220 got to

01:15:32.640 seek

01:15:32.840 out

01:15:33.040 the

01:15:33.180 truth

01:15:33.520 you

01:15:37.200 know

01:15:37.360 as

01:15:37.840 this

01:15:38.920 continues

01:15:39.620 and

01:15:43.140 things

01:15:43.560 heat

01:15:45.380 up

01:15:45.680 you're

01:15:47.500 going

01:15:47.640 to

01:15:47.760 hear

01:15:47.900 less

01:15:48.280 and

01:15:48.440 less

01:15:48.720 of

01:15:48.860 the

01:15:48.980 truth

01:15:49.220 from

01:15:49.440 these

01:15:49.640 standard

01:15:50.120 sources

01:15:50.840 and

01:15:52.340 when

01:15:52.500 you

01:15:52.660 do

01:15:53.060 hear

01:15:53.540 the

01:15:53.780 truth

01:15:54.320 I

01:15:57.220 believe

01:15:57.560 because

01:15:57.960 it'll

01:15:58.180 be so

01:15:58.680 rare

01:15:59.020 it'll

01:16:00.220 stick

01:16:00.820 out

01:16:01.320 glaring 0.68

01:16:04.360 like

01:16:06.080 a

01:16:06.300 shining

01:16:06.860 bright

01:16:07.760 beacon

01:16:08.620 of

01:16:09.520 hope

01:16:09.820 the

01:16:11.560 truth

01:16:11.980 I

01:16:16.620 think

01:16:16.820 it

01:16:16.960 always

01:16:17.280 comes

01:16:17.580 out

01:16:17.880 eventually

01:16:18.460 search

01:16:21.500 for

01:16:21.760 it

01:16:22.360 but

01:16:29.180 not

01:16:29.380 only

01:16:29.560 that

01:16:29.880 I

01:16:30.640 think

01:16:30.840 we

01:16:30.960 got

01:16:31.120 to

01:16:31.240 pray

01:16:31.540 and

01:16:34.660 this

01:16:34.800 man

01:16:35.020 that

01:16:35.140 I

01:16:35.260 talked

01:16:35.480 to

01:16:35.620 yesterday

01:16:36.080 in

01:16:36.460 his

01:16:36.600 desperation

01:16:37.120 he

01:16:37.360 said

01:16:37.520 you

01:16:37.640 know

01:16:37.780 I

01:16:38.160 I'm

01:16:39.080 a

01:16:39.240 believer

01:16:39.620 but

01:16:42.060 it

01:16:42.180 can't

01:16:42.440 just

01:16:42.580 be

01:16:42.760 all

01:16:42.940 prayer

01:16:43.180 it

01:16:43.320 has

01:16:43.520 to

01:16:43.640 be

01:16:43.800 action

01:16:44.080 I

01:16:44.260 agreed

01:16:44.540 with

01:16:44.700 him

01:16:44.800 but

01:16:44.920 I

01:16:45.080 also

01:16:45.380 think

01:16:45.800 that

01:16:48.600 there's

01:16:48.820 a

01:16:48.940 lot

01:16:49.080 of

01:16:49.220 action

01:16:49.740 although

01:16:50.560 prayer

01:16:50.900 seems

01:16:51.260 pretty

01:16:51.580 passive

01:16:52.080 to

01:16:52.340 us

01:16:52.700 there's

01:16:54.820 a lot

01:16:55.140 of

01:16:55.280 action

01:16:55.740 that

01:16:56.300 takes

01:16:56.600 place

01:16:57.140 in

01:16:57.960 that

01:16:58.180 prayer

01:16:58.540 so

01:17:03.300 on

01:17:04.420 Christmas

01:17:04.740 Eve

01:17:05.160 during

01:17:07.880 this

01:17:08.340 unprecedented

01:17:11.620 year

01:17:12.220 maybe

01:17:15.840 some

01:17:16.100 of the

01:17:16.320 things

01:17:16.700 that we

01:17:17.140 can

01:17:17.320 do

01:17:17.640 is

01:17:20.460 seek

01:17:20.680 out

01:17:20.860 the

01:17:21.000 truth

01:17:21.360 seek

01:17:22.160 out

01:17:22.380 hope

01:17:22.680 we

01:17:26.540 can

01:17:26.680 hit

01:17:26.820 our

01:17:26.960 knees

01:17:27.360 and

01:17:28.940 pray

01:17:29.260 pray

01:17:31.460 for

01:17:31.640 this

01:17:31.820 country

01:17:32.200 pray

01:17:35.700 for

01:17:35.900 our

01:17:36.080 families

01:17:36.560 our

01:17:37.920 loved

01:17:38.180 ones

01:17:38.520 but

01:17:39.700 not

01:17:39.920 just

01:17:40.140 this

01:17:40.400 country

01:17:40.820 the

01:17:41.160 world

01:17:41.560 because

01:17:44.540 if

01:17:44.760 we

01:17:44.940 fall

01:17:45.380 and

01:17:47.580 we

01:17:47.740 fail

01:17:48.180 it's

01:17:50.880 just

01:17:51.120 not

01:17:51.560 just

01:17:51.760 America

01:17:52.420 that

01:17:55.400 will

01:17:55.520 go

01:17:55.660 down

01:17:56.060 the

01:17:58.140 rest

01:17:58.380 of

01:17:58.500 the

01:17:58.600 world

01:17:58.920 is

01:17:59.180 depending

01:17:59.520 on

01:17:59.760 us

01:17:59.960 too

01:18:00.260 there's

01:18:04.440 a lot

01:18:04.700 at

01:18:04.860 stake

01:18:05.260 so

01:18:08.100 in

01:18:08.220 these

01:18:08.360 dark

01:18:08.620 times

01:18:08.980 can

01:18:09.180 we

01:18:09.320 give

01:18:09.660 maybe

01:18:10.220 a

01:18:10.740 little

01:18:10.920 bit

01:18:11.160 more

01:18:11.520 hope

01:18:12.240 I've

01:18:12.920 got

01:18:13.040 a

01:18:13.140 great

01:18:13.360 friend

01:18:13.760 who's

01:18:15.000 been

01:18:15.200 through

01:18:15.420 it

01:18:15.560 all

01:18:15.860 he's

01:18:19.540 been

01:18:19.680 there

01:18:19.880 and

01:18:20.040 back

01:18:20.400 let

01:18:21.420 me

01:18:21.500 just

01:18:21.660 put

01:18:21.820 it

01:18:21.920 that

01:18:22.120 way

01:18:22.400 in

01:18:25.380 fact

01:18:25.780 he's

01:18:26.380 experienced

01:18:27.140 one

01:18:28.640 of those

01:18:28.900 miracles

01:18:29.400 that I

01:18:31.260 was sharing

01:18:31.640 with you

01:18:31.980 earlier

01:18:32.280 about

01:18:32.640 they're

01:18:33.180 happening

01:18:33.540 all

01:18:33.800 around

01:18:34.120 us

01:18:34.460 we

01:18:35.800 get in

01:18:36.120 the

01:18:36.240 habit

01:18:36.500 of

01:18:36.680 seeing

01:18:36.920 them

01:18:37.180 I

01:18:37.660 think

01:18:37.940 they

01:18:38.120 stand

01:18:38.440 out

01:18:38.620 even

01:18:38.800 more

01:18:39.220 I'll

01:18:40.680 share

01:18:40.880 with

01:18:41.080 you

01:18:41.200 his

01:18:41.440 story

01:18:41.860 and

01:18:44.180 a

01:18:45.780 man

01:18:46.100 who

01:20:21.220 of year

01:20:21.560 especially

01:20:22.440 after the

01:20:22.940 year we've

01:20:23.300 been through

01:20:23.680 after the

01:20:24.500 craziness

01:20:25.060 well

01:20:28.500 I've got a

01:20:29.640 really good

01:20:30.000 friend who's

01:20:30.820 been through

01:20:31.300 a lot

01:20:31.620 in fact

01:20:32.100 yeah you

01:20:33.000 heard me

01:20:33.320 earlier

01:20:33.700 mention he's

01:20:34.680 actually died

01:20:35.480 but he's

01:20:37.300 on the phone

01:20:37.860 with us

01:20:38.160 right now

01:20:38.740 Kevin DeVries

01:20:40.200 with Grace

01:20:41.220 Explorations

01:20:42.140 here in

01:20:43.300 West Michigan

01:20:44.060 went through

01:20:45.840 something very

01:20:46.460 interesting

01:20:46.960 about a year

01:20:47.940 or so back

01:20:48.620 and he's here

01:20:49.940 to talk to us

01:20:50.520 about it

01:20:50.860 Kevin how are

01:20:51.420 you man

01:20:51.680 Merry Christmas

01:20:52.260 yeah you know

01:20:53.820 it's good to be

01:20:54.480 here

01:20:54.680 thank you for

01:20:55.500 this opportunity

01:20:56.160 I know that's

01:20:57.620 right so

01:20:58.040 Kevin

01:20:58.380 Kevin died

01:20:59.980 for all

01:21:01.160 intents and

01:21:01.520 purposes he

01:21:02.080 was dead

01:21:02.540 he had a

01:21:02.940 heart attack

01:21:03.540 but Kevin's

01:21:05.360 not like me

01:21:06.020 you look at

01:21:06.560 me and you

01:21:06.880 think okay

01:21:07.340 yeah maybe

01:21:07.840 this guy could

01:21:09.000 have some

01:21:09.320 health problems

01:21:09.820 even though I'm

01:21:10.340 down like 96

01:21:11.340 pounds or so

01:21:12.260 I you know

01:21:13.940 I've become a

01:21:14.960 lot healthier

01:21:15.540 I'm not this

01:21:17.900 the absolute

01:21:18.760 epitome of

01:21:19.580 health Kevin

01:21:20.080 is a guy

01:21:20.580 he's a runner

01:21:21.080 you just look

01:21:21.660 at him you go

01:21:22.100 that's a guy

01:21:22.680 he's he's

01:21:23.640 got it all

01:21:24.040 together

01:21:24.380 but Kevin

01:21:25.440 you were

01:21:25.960 running

01:21:26.300 you're actually

01:21:26.820 out for a

01:21:27.600 run when

01:21:29.020 all of this

01:21:29.460 happened and

01:21:30.700 you had a

01:21:31.260 heart attack

01:21:32.100 yeah it was

01:21:34.800 September 21st

01:21:36.120 of last year

01:21:37.500 and I was out

01:21:38.360 on a normal

01:21:38.900 five and a half

01:21:40.140 six mile run

01:21:40.920 it was pretty

01:21:41.520 hot out that

01:21:42.120 night and I

01:21:43.340 did experience a

01:21:44.220 cardiac arrest

01:21:44.960 which is a little

01:21:45.720 bit of a different

01:21:46.240 nuance than a

01:21:46.940 heart attack a

01:21:47.580 heart attack you

01:21:48.160 could actually

01:21:48.500 drive yourself to

01:21:49.280 the hospital in

01:21:50.080 layman's terms

01:21:50.800 it's more of a

01:21:51.420 plumbing issue

01:21:52.080 there's clogged

01:21:53.720 arteries there's

01:21:54.320 damage and so

01:21:55.040 the repair is

01:21:55.780 usually pretty

01:21:56.760 extensive a

01:21:58.440 cardiac arrest

01:21:59.160 is is nuanced a

01:22:01.060 little bit different

01:22:01.660 in that it's

01:22:02.300 electrical so it

01:22:03.840 comes suddenly it's

01:22:04.940 like a thunderbolt

01:22:05.620 on a clear day and

01:22:07.380 typically you don't

01:22:08.680 know what hits you

01:22:09.500 and typically they

01:22:10.740 don't find you in

01:22:11.900 time especially if

01:22:13.400 you're out doing

01:22:13.920 recreational activities

01:22:15.160 unless everything

01:22:16.240 goes really really

01:22:17.280 right after everything

01:22:18.180 goes really really

01:22:18.900 wrong the percentage

01:22:20.740 of survival as

01:22:22.020 from what the

01:22:23.000 paramedics and all

01:22:23.800 the medical people

01:22:24.440 told me afterwards

01:22:25.380 is in that three to

01:22:27.300 six percent margin

01:22:28.300 so but the benefit

01:22:30.440 of it is if you fall

01:22:31.580 in that three to six

01:22:32.260 percent margin and

01:22:33.620 a miracle happens

01:22:34.820 which is what

01:22:35.320 happened on that

01:22:35.960 day the damage is

01:22:38.460 typically not

01:22:39.220 extensive and so I

01:22:41.260 was able to you

01:22:43.040 know basically pick

01:22:43.940 up where I left off

01:22:44.840 a few months

01:22:45.340 afterwards and

01:22:46.640 began to run again

01:22:47.700 and do some high

01:22:49.100 altitude skiing but

01:22:50.080 it was yeah it was

01:22:52.460 a physical moment

01:22:53.320 but it was a very

01:22:54.100 spiritual moment as

01:22:55.040 well you know it's

01:22:57.320 funny to hear you

01:22:58.080 say like yeah I was

01:22:59.080 out for my typical

01:22:59.900 run and it was it

01:23:01.600 was like this this

01:23:02.920 typical kind of five

01:23:04.000 six mile run that

01:23:04.860 Kevin makes I should

01:23:05.940 probably also mention

01:23:07.120 that Kevin is a man

01:23:09.620 who's climbed mountains

01:23:10.620 he's an adventurer so

01:23:12.040 this is a this is kind

01:23:13.480 of like a rugged guy

01:23:14.660 who's who's used to

01:23:16.380 doing physical things

01:23:17.460 so when he had that

01:23:19.420 that event that took

01:23:21.640 him down during his

01:23:22.440 run it was a surprise

01:23:24.280 for so many of us

01:23:25.520 that know him as this

01:23:26.260 very healthy guy and

01:23:28.480 as you said Kevin it's

01:23:29.500 kind of like this this

01:23:31.560 thunderbolt on a clear

01:23:32.540 day is very rare even

01:23:34.780 the doctors who who

01:23:37.240 examine you and look

01:23:38.160 at you kind of in awe

01:23:39.960 about what happened and

01:23:41.620 what happened next yeah

01:23:45.540 when I went to the

01:23:46.300 Meyer Heart Clinic you

01:23:47.380 know they just paraded

01:23:48.220 these guys in because

01:23:49.320 they they had some type

01:23:51.000 of definition for it but

01:23:52.240 it's it's rare and it

01:23:53.440 typically happens to if

01:23:55.700 it happens at all to

01:23:56.800 postpartum women who've 1.00

01:23:59.300 had difficult child

01:24:00.160 births so there's an

01:24:00.840 unusual strain on the

01:24:01.780 heart and so if it

01:24:02.520 happens with men it's 0.91

01:24:03.440 very rare and it's

01:24:04.260 usually stress related

01:24:05.420 but something that I've

01:24:06.640 contemplated and

01:24:07.500 meditated on since the

01:24:08.780 event and we can get

01:24:09.520 into that in a moment

01:24:10.180 is this idea that you

01:24:11.560 know there's several

01:24:12.040 instances in the

01:24:12.880 biblical narrative where

01:24:13.940 individuals the Bible

01:24:16.260 doesn't have the

01:24:17.060 scientific medical

01:24:18.240 language that we have

01:24:19.120 today but it would say

01:24:20.140 that an angel came or

01:24:21.900 there was a divine

01:24:22.500 encounter and they fell

01:24:23.480 down as if they were

01:24:24.320 dead right and so you

01:24:26.540 kind of wonder if you

01:24:27.500 just fill in the blanks

01:24:28.500 with contemporary

01:24:29.080 language that you know

01:24:30.620 it may have been that

01:24:32.080 God just for his own

01:24:33.700 purposes as as it is

01:24:35.860 happening today that

01:24:36.940 something happened you

01:24:39.640 know in the spiritual

01:24:40.320 realm and and I was as

01:24:42.400 if I was dead and and

01:24:44.140 if it wasn't for a

01:24:45.420 miracle that took

01:24:46.480 place I wouldn't be

01:24:47.600 here but it invited it

01:24:49.580 opened the portal if you

01:24:50.780 will to the next

01:24:51.600 dimension actually to the

01:24:53.900 real dimension I should

01:24:54.820 say because our

01:24:55.880 dimensions are coexisting

01:24:57.280 together the spiritual

01:24:58.300 realm and the physical

01:24:59.120 realm and it's hard to

01:25:00.400 see beyond the bend from

01:25:02.000 our physical realm because

01:25:03.020 the time space continuum

01:25:04.160 doesn't allow for that

01:25:05.100 but when these great

01:25:05.900 moments of catastrophe and

01:25:08.640 chaos happen or pain or

01:25:10.240 in my case a cardiac

01:25:11.240 arrest that portal opens

01:25:12.800 just for a moment you

01:25:15.080 know and you slip in and

01:25:16.340 and for some they don't

01:25:17.700 come back and I was very

01:25:19.320 blessed to be able to

01:25:20.180 come back but you know

01:25:22.560 you just kind of wonder

01:25:23.320 it was a little bit of a

01:25:24.100 head-scratcher because the

01:25:25.140 cardiologist that came in

01:25:26.340 they just said we really

01:25:27.260 can't definitively say

01:25:29.360 exactly what happened we

01:25:31.680 think it's a SCAD a

01:25:33.120 spontaneous coronary artery

01:25:34.560 dissection because of some

01:25:36.760 scant evidence of some

01:25:38.100 arteries that burst in your

01:25:39.280 lower left chamber area on

01:25:42.960 the surface and maybe push

01:25:44.300 blood in different

01:25:44.920 directions but we can't

01:25:45.980 say that conclusively it's

01:25:47.180 the best that we can come

01:25:48.080 to describe you know what

01:25:50.480 happened so I became kind

01:25:51.740 of a guinea pig for the 0.52

01:25:52.800 13 days that I was in

01:25:54.020 there and I just kind of

01:25:55.620 walked away from it in the

01:25:56.620 months afterwards just

01:25:57.700 thinking well maybe there

01:25:58.440 was just something really

01:25:59.480 spiritual that was

01:26:00.300 happening that God knew

01:26:02.720 about because he put all

01:26:03.760 the right people in the

01:26:04.580 right place at the right

01:26:05.460 time he obviously went to

01:26:06.540 great lengths to bring me

01:26:07.760 back exquisitely so put

01:26:10.440 everybody behind schedule

01:26:11.600 including myself and you

01:26:13.720 know the the plan played

01:26:15.520 out the way he had

01:26:16.680 organized an area he

01:26:17.700 pre-thought it if you will

01:26:18.720 what's interesting about

01:26:20.980 this Kevin is you know

01:26:24.120 what you're hearing is a

01:26:25.640 story on its surface is you

01:26:28.640 know it's pretty amazing

01:26:29.460 you think about that's that

01:26:30.780 guy's really lucky you know

01:26:32.240 wow everything just worked

01:26:34.140 out right for him you know

01:26:35.700 maybe maybe there's some

01:26:37.460 divine intervention there

01:26:38.440 maybe maybe it's just he

01:26:40.060 just got lucky but there's

01:26:42.700 more to this story when

01:26:44.980 Kevin died something

01:26:48.120 happened he experienced

01:26:50.780 something that I think

01:26:53.680 gives us even more

01:26:55.520 perspective about maybe what

01:26:59.280 happened then and what

01:27:03.260 continues to happen on a

01:27:04.860 daily basis Kevin we

01:27:06.680 don't have a lot of time

01:27:07.640 here but let's talk

01:27:09.960 briefly about before I may

01:27:12.480 have to cut you off here

01:27:13.400 about what exactly you

01:27:15.560 experienced in that moment

01:27:18.040 yeah so I was running and

01:27:21.720 collapsed and the next thing

01:27:24.020 I knew I was looking down at

01:27:24.960 my dead body on the running

01:27:26.160 trail I slipped up and over a

01:27:28.300 ridge line my spirit wait a

01:27:29.960 second wait wait wait wait

01:27:30.800 you you are just glossing

01:27:32.560 over this

01:27:33.180 I gotta slow you down so

01:27:36.540 you you're running and you

01:27:37.640 collect

01:27:37.860 yeah you're running back to

01:27:40.840 the graveyard before I died I

01:27:42.200 mean this is all interconnected

01:27:43.360 I

01:27:43.580 well hang on hang on yeah

01:27:46.360 you're running and you

01:27:47.740 collapsed and then you said

01:27:49.380 you've you came up out of

01:27:50.740 your body and over you're 0.58

01:27:51.860 seeing yourself in your and

01:27:53.440 and so explain this to people

01:27:55.400 because I know we've we've

01:27:57.000 heard this type of thing from

01:27:58.320 people before you know and

01:28:01.680 then maybe these these near

01:28:03.080 death experiences you know

01:28:04.300 the people that have these

01:28:05.320 out-of-body things but what

01:28:06.960 was that like you're floating

01:28:08.160 above your body well to be

01:28:10.360 honestly it felt a hundred

01:28:11.400 percent natural and it felt

01:28:12.560 like a relief like I I mean I

01:28:14.960 knew this theologically and

01:28:16.680 spiritually beforehand but it

01:28:18.000 was a cognitive recognition it

01:28:19.620 wasn't a deeply intuitive

01:28:22.240 experience because you have to

01:28:24.140 experience these things and then

01:28:25.500 come back to be able to put some

01:28:27.140 of the pieces of the puzzle

01:28:27.980 together but it felt like a

01:28:29.140 relief like okay I'm finally

01:28:30.380 out of my tent I'm finally out

01:28:32.140 of this temporal physical

01:28:35.240 container and the real part of

01:28:37.040 me the God particle if you will

01:28:38.540 the part of me that lives forever

01:28:40.240 in one destination or another

01:28:42.180 that God uniquely partnered with my

01:28:46.340 parents to bring his idea of me

01:28:48.360 the dream of Kevin going back to

01:28:50.360 like the book of of Jeremiah you

01:28:52.820 know that God knew us before we

01:28:55.260 were inside the womb and Job even 0.95

01:28:57.240 talked about that as well in the

01:28:58.740 biblical narrative this idea that

01:29:00.000 God had a dream or an idea a

01:29:01.880 sparkle and illuminative thought of

01:29:04.300 who we were before we became a

01:29:06.840 person inside our mother's womb and

01:29:08.900 so I think that there's just this

01:29:11.800 particle the spiritual part of us I

01:29:14.100 look at it as we're a spirit that

01:29:15.780 has emotions in a mind that lives in

01:29:18.180 a body but first and foremost we're a

01:29:19.920 spirit and that spiritual part of me

01:29:21.660 disconnected from the physical part of

01:29:23.880 me and it felt very natural it felt

01:29:27.200 well hang on quite frankly hang on

01:29:29.820 Kevin is with us Kevin DeVries he

01:29:31.880 just talked about what happened when

01:29:33.380 he died that day he was running

01:29:34.760 floating out of his body where he went

01:29:38.140 and what happened next is incredible

01:29:41.500 you don't want to miss this back in

01:29:44.280 moments

01:29:44.720 welcome back Justin Barkley from WOD

01:29:56.620 wood radio in Grand Rapids and a

01:30:01.100 friend joining me here in for Glenn on

01:30:05.080 the Glenn Beck program his name is

01:30:06.240 Kevin DeVries he's a guy's an athlete he

01:30:09.420 is a he's an adventurer he's climbed

01:30:11.220 mountains in fact he went on a

01:30:12.860 expedition he's in a documentary

01:30:15.020 finding Noah looking for Noah's Ark

01:30:17.860 the guy's been through it all and

01:30:19.140 and great stories but the one we're

01:30:23.140 telling today happened about a year or

01:30:26.180 so back when he died he had this event

01:30:29.700 this heart attack that happened when he

01:30:31.780 was out running and Kevin was just

01:30:34.520 talking about that he he sort of

01:30:37.200 described sort of floating out over your

01:30:39.180 body Kevin and this story is getting

01:30:41.300 kind of strange but it really has a

01:30:46.620 happy ending we're talking about that

01:30:49.700 right now what happens next yeah so I'm

01:30:54.840 looking down at my body on the trail and

01:30:57.120 it appears lifeless I'm seeing no one

01:30:59.400 around which actually fits in perfectly

01:31:01.300 with the people who actually responded

01:31:03.080 because when they finally found me I

01:31:04.820 looked at and that's why they pulled

01:31:06.120 over if I hadn't looked at and lifeless

01:31:08.140 no one probably would have stopped they

01:31:10.360 would have probably thought I was just

01:31:11.480 relaxing because of the way my body was

01:31:13.640 postured it looked like I had at least

01:31:15.860 arrested my fall somewhat to the extent

01:31:18.120 that it looked like I was resting so at

01:31:20.300 this point I'm floating up over this

01:31:21.940 ridge called Pine Ridge and I'm going

01:31:24.240 back to the same cemetery that I just

01:31:26.220 walked through I wasn't having a I just

01:31:28.100 wasn't feeling all that well during the

01:31:29.440 run so I thought you know what I'm not

01:31:30.740 on a clock so I'm not going to worry

01:31:32.360 about it so I ran like three and a half

01:31:34.500 miles and then walked through the

01:31:35.740 cemetery called Cascade Cemetery and when

01:31:38.720 I had walked through previous to the

01:31:40.420 cardiac arrest I had noticed someone

01:31:41.960 all dressed in white his back was to

01:31:44.320 me he was working on a grave kind of

01:31:47.100 rearranging things digging things and I

01:31:49.240 thought that's just kind of strange I

01:31:50.720 wouldn't do that if I wouldn't work in

01:31:52.740 the dirt with all white clothes but it

01:31:54.440 wasn't first century garb so it wasn't

01:31:57.080 something that stood out it was just

01:31:58.320 unusual I just kind of put in the back

01:31:59.820 of my mind so now I'm back in the

01:32:01.860 graveyard and this person that was

01:32:03.760 dressed in white that had his back

01:32:05.400 towards me is now facing me and the

01:32:08.080 light that is coming out of him it's

01:32:10.240 not harmful or hurtful but it is so

01:32:13.860 bright that I can't make out any facial

01:32:15.660 features it looks very strongly like

01:32:18.660 masculine form and it feels like light

01:32:23.260 that darkness has never touched that

01:32:25.200 this is light that existed before the

01:32:26.960 concept the construct of darkness was

01:32:29.340 even something that was real it was like a

01:32:33.320 capital L light light before there was

01:32:36.020 darkness and I felt in that moment also

01:32:37.860 tremendous amount of love that fear had

01:32:41.400 never felt it was love that existed

01:32:44.700 before fear was even an idea or even an

01:32:48.780 emotion that we were capable of as humans

01:32:50.980 or angelic beings were in the cosmos and

01:32:54.340 then the third thing I felt in that moment

01:32:56.160 was tremendous sense of life that death can

01:33:01.500 never conquer undefeated life maybe is a

01:33:05.500 good way to say that and so this person

01:33:08.200 is all dressed in white people like hey

01:33:09.680 do you think it was an angel I'm like

01:33:10.840 well typically when people have encounters

01:33:12.560 with angels a muster in disguise at least

01:33:14.880 from the biblical narrative it's a pretty

01:33:17.160 big freak-out moment I mean there's the

01:33:19.520 first thing out of the angels mouth

01:33:20.640 typically is don't be afraid because they

01:33:22.280 can see the shock and awe that these

01:33:23.820 humans have because all of us would have

01:33:25.500 that experience of an eight to ten foot

01:33:27.200 tall person was in front of us with a

01:33:29.560 gleaming sword and you know a body that

01:33:31.780 was burning like a you know a glowing

01:33:33.560 ember in a fire I mean these look like

01:33:35.200 movable furnaces you know walking coals

01:33:38.480 if you will and so because the glory is

01:33:40.540 still on and they're coming from another

01:33:41.760 realm I didn't have that feeling I had

01:33:43.500 this feeling in that moment like wow this

01:33:45.240 is my my brother in a in a strange

01:33:47.880 spiritual way we're brothers because we

01:33:51.400 both share the same father God Almighty so

01:33:54.500 I felt like a familial connection first and

01:33:57.560 then secondly I felt like wow this is my

01:33:59.860 captain this is someone that I've joined

01:34:02.340 a band of brothers called Grace

01:34:03.780 Explorations and all these base camps

01:34:06.080 that were starting in breweries

01:34:07.040 everyone I thought this is my captain

01:34:08.560 this is a guy that I'll follow into battle

01:34:10.300 who always leads by example into the

01:34:13.820 battle and then the third thing that I

01:34:15.340 felt as far as a spiritual emotional

01:34:19.220 connection was man this is more than a

01:34:21.180 familial connection it's more than a

01:34:22.700 brotherly connection or a you know some

01:34:25.640 type of military metaphor I really felt

01:34:27.900 like there's something higher that's

01:34:30.000 going on or this person is actually my

01:34:31.980 king who requires my highest allegiance

01:34:35.460 not just my savior someone who I confess

01:34:38.000 my sin to but someone who is my Lord that

01:34:40.120 I bend my knee to and that I follow into

01:34:44.380 the afterlife someday and throughout this

01:34:46.440 life so tremendous sense of sovereignty and

01:34:49.780 and awe and majesty and as in the clock is

01:34:54.520 ticking now right so there's still a

01:34:56.400 chronological clock we now know after the

01:34:58.820 fact that the paramedics are working on

01:35:00.400 me for 10 minutes actually the nurses who

01:35:02.720 had stopped who were behind schedule on

01:35:05.120 their own personal lives they're not on

01:35:06.480 duty they just happen to be driving by

01:35:08.060 they stop they did CPR everything the

01:35:11.540 right way because they destroyed my ribs

01:35:14.700 which essentially is what you're supposed

01:35:15.860 to do and they had no pulse body went from

01:35:19.160 ash and gray to blue and back and it's it was

01:35:21.340 just a mess and so they're working on me and

01:35:23.300 then the fire people come and it coincides

01:35:27.240 with the time frame that I'm in but I'm in

01:35:28.980 time outside of time right now I'm in a

01:35:30.720 different dimension so time means nothing

01:35:32.680 the moment means everything in this

01:35:34.140 moment and in this moment I felt like this

01:35:36.220 person who I believe was the risen Christ

01:35:38.200 said very simply to me and it's uncannily

01:35:41.440 similar to many other people who've had

01:35:43.360 near-death experiences and it was just

01:35:45.860 simply this

01:35:46.580 your time has not yet come period dramatic

01:35:51.800 pause and as he's saying these words he's

01:35:54.100 turning so these words are coming like a

01:35:56.000 leaf blowing in the wind to me and as he's

01:35:58.620 completing his turn these words floated back

01:36:01.060 to me your mission is not yet complete and

01:36:04.660 the next thing I remember I'm in the

01:36:06.200 ambulance there's beeping lights people are

01:36:08.260 talking I can't talk because I've got an

01:36:10.020 oxygen mask on we're making our way to the

01:36:12.780 hospital I don't know what in the world

01:36:14.620 happened to me you know last thing I

01:36:16.280 remember was running and now all of a

01:36:17.720 sudden I've I'm surrounded by medical

01:36:19.260 personnel and people are visiting in the

01:36:20.900 hospital and I'm asking the same

01:36:22.640 questions over and over and over again

01:36:24.180 because they figured that I could have

01:36:26.180 been without a heartbeat for up to 15

01:36:28.900 minutes I think it was somewhere in the

01:36:30.340 12 to 13 minute range looking back at the

01:36:33.100 medical records and piecing together the

01:36:34.920 fact that I looked at enough for people

01:36:36.880 to stop so that has to have a certain

01:36:38.480 amount of time elapsed but the main

01:36:40.640 thing I walked away from this whole

01:36:41.840 experience was was boy if you don't know

01:36:44.940 Christ this is about as good as it gets

01:36:47.060 and that's why I think this this time

01:36:49.040 frame has been so depressing for a lot of

01:36:50.700 people because we want life to be

01:36:52.280 meaningful we want the holidays to be

01:36:54.100 special and so we keep trying to squeeze

01:36:58.320 something out of something that it can't

01:37:00.500 really give to us and so there's a lot of

01:37:03.240 despair connected with that but if you do

01:37:04.940 know Christ and you belong to him and he's

01:37:07.000 your Savior and he's your Lord and this is

01:37:10.360 just about as bad as it gets like the best

01:37:12.580 is always yet to come because the best

01:37:14.580 hasn't even happened yet and so that

01:37:16.400 despair has a way of leaking out and hope

01:37:19.820 comes into that place of despair and you

01:37:22.160 don't get all enamored and raveled up with

01:37:24.520 all these little side stories you're

01:37:27.060 because you're immersed and you're engaged

01:37:28.700 in the epic story of God's story for us and

01:37:31.460 you realize that he's just writing his story

01:37:33.380 through our story through a nation's story

01:37:35.420 through the earth story and and you can

01:37:38.580 participate in that with great joy because

01:37:40.680 you know that this is just a fleeting

01:37:42.740 shadow and the body that we live in is a

01:37:45.920 temporal tent at best but that our spirit

01:37:48.840 becomes immoral and is resurrected with a

01:37:51.160 new body with Christ someday and then the

01:37:54.860 other thing that I would like to say as

01:37:56.840 well as this tremendous sense of belonging

01:37:58.660 that in that moment when I had met the

01:38:00.320 risen Christ there wasn't this cosmic Santa

01:38:04.560 Claus moment of all my good waged against

01:38:07.020 my bad there was just this tremendous sense

01:38:09.000 of I know him and he knows me and that's

01:38:12.260 all that really matters in this moment and

01:38:14.040 so I like to tell people what you believe

01:38:16.520 now will determine where you belong in

01:38:18.440 eternity and your day of death which is

01:38:20.800 only a door to another dimension can be an

01:38:23.180 incredibly powerful and wonderful

01:38:25.340 celebratory day a day of great joy because

01:38:28.300 now you're in your in the real country now

01:38:32.240 you're finally in your native country you're

01:38:34.680 in the place that you were born to be and

01:38:36.460 everything else is just it's a shadows of

01:38:39.760 something more real it is interesting how

01:38:42.840 you said you felt when you came up out of

01:38:45.200 your body this almost like this freedom that

01:38:48.860 you said you experienced how do we walk this

01:38:52.300 balance Kevin because I know we're human

01:38:55.460 right so we're fallen and we're living in a

01:38:58.680 fallen world we want to know you know the

01:39:03.700 hope that this is as bad as it gets you know

01:39:10.160 that the the the best is yet to come but we

01:39:16.240 want to participate you know in this as well

01:39:18.700 and and and do our part in the world that we

01:39:22.480 live in because surely we're called to do

01:39:25.680 those things how do we walk that that line

01:39:28.520 well I think just keeping a big picture in

01:39:31.760 front of you so the book of Revelation is

01:39:33.960 very confusing but what is clear if you just

01:39:36.160 synthesize all the chapters there is that

01:39:38.620 things have to get really bad before Christ

01:39:41.360 returns if that fits one's eschatology so in

01:39:45.020 that sense you can have a little bit of a sense

01:39:46.660 of detachment where things are meant to

01:39:49.440 actually get bad before they get really really

01:39:51.780 good now the question mark and the litmus test

01:39:54.720 that's a little bit beyond my bandwidth is how

01:39:56.600 much do you struggle against the bad that's

01:39:59.080 happening currently to bring about good

01:40:01.540 right and I don't that's such a nuanced

01:40:05.060 question and I can't really give a definitive

01:40:06.960 answer to that other than the fact that I I

01:40:09.320 believe a hundred percent that everything that

01:40:12.480 happens has a purpose and it's part of a larger

01:40:15.160 purpose and we're kind of on the back end of

01:40:17.380 this mosaic this tapestry that looks really

01:40:20.200 rough and unbeautiful if you will and it doesn't

01:40:25.700 have any harmony to it but on the reverse side

01:40:28.300 of it is something beautiful that we just can't

01:40:31.620 quite see yet so in my own personal life every

01:40:35.060 moment of chaos or every chapter of chaos always

01:40:38.780 birth something beautiful in fact you could say that

01:40:42.320 our calling or our destiny is always birthed out of

01:40:44.920 chaos look at the origins of America I mean it was

01:40:47.240 birthed in in revolts and right you know it's just

01:40:50.060 it's crazy our beginning was rough I began

01:40:53.300 essentially in a revolution and then something

01:40:56.260 beautiful came out of that and and we became a you

01:40:59.520 know a beacon of light a shining light a city on a

01:41:02.880 hill if you want to get Reagan-esque you know

01:41:04.520 there's just some beautiful things but they come out

01:41:06.580 of chaos and so I'm really trying to partner with

01:41:10.160 God and find out where he's bringing light into dark

01:41:12.540 places and and hold that that thing loosely in my hand

01:41:17.300 and not try to clench that but keep the palms open and

01:41:21.120 realize that God can use very bad things to accomplish very

01:41:24.920 good things in fact I would say it this way that sometimes

01:41:28.080 the only way to create a greater good is through a lesser

01:41:32.960 evil and that's a mystery and I'm okay with that younger in

01:41:39.400 my life I felt like I would need to control outcomes the older I get the

01:41:43.080 more I realized that life is a great mystery and there's a certain amount of

01:41:47.280 tension you've got to hold on to things loosely don't over anticipate just live

01:41:50.900 in the moment athletic trainers will talk about living in the zone or playing

01:41:54.980 in the zone don't over anticipate the next move don't regret the past move

01:41:59.080 just live right now because that's all we have and I think a lot of our

01:42:04.440 stress that we have over the holidays is we're fearing the future what's

01:42:08.440 going to happen so we get all worked up about that or we're punishing our past

01:42:11.760 because the things that we regret or people have done or we've done to

01:42:14.780 ourselves but we're never now and if anything I think the holidays

01:42:19.000 especially Christmas which is about Christ is living in the now it's just

01:42:23.080 letting Christ be incarnated in you it's Christ coming into you into your life

01:42:29.320 as your Lord and as your Savior and then there's an incredible sense of calm

01:42:32.940 that comes with that that keeps you in the center Christ is always the center

01:42:38.160 he's the calm in the middle of the storm and without him I just think that it's

01:42:44.120 all chaos but with him there's that center there's that calmness even though the

01:42:50.020 chaos is all surrounding if you're with him and he's with you there's a

01:42:54.280 tremendous amount of calm and reassurance that comes with that

01:42:59.120 relationship with Christ especially through the chaos of this last year

01:43:03.940 maybe some words that'll that'll bring you some hope and a little comfort maybe

01:43:08.980 some peace for the season Kevin DeVries my good friend grace explorations.com

01:43:13.460 thank you so much for being here with us and sharing a little bit of your story

01:43:17.300 with the rest of you Justin thank you Merry Christmas Merry Christmas brother

01:43:23.020 we'll take a break and we'll put a bow on this thing Justin Barkley in for Glenn

01:43:29.000 Beck today on the Glenn Beck program

01:43:30.380 and welcome back Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program and a

01:43:36.860 Merry Christmas to you I want to say that because

01:43:39.360 from the bottom of my heart as a new father not only does

01:43:46.700 the meaning of Christmas said a little differently with me this year but

01:43:54.480 absolutely everything does

01:43:55.980 everything we face and have faced over the last year or so takes completely new

01:44:05.860 meaning for me as a parent

01:44:08.260 the perspective that I've gained in the last year

01:44:12.700 I can only hope that I've been able to share maybe just a little bit with you and

01:44:17.580 some of the stories from others the miracles that have happened even in some of the darkest

01:44:24.480 moments of this last year have been incredible on one hand we are sitting in the midst of it

01:44:32.360 now with a child that's in the NICU and how tough that is because it's not easy going back

01:44:37.120 and forth and just not being able to bring your child home

01:44:41.280 something that I think a lot of us maybe take for granted

01:44:45.860 but on the other hand

01:44:48.500 the absolute gratitude

01:44:51.560 that I have

01:44:54.380 that my child is here

01:44:56.960 she's healthy

01:45:00.640 thanks to your prayers

01:45:03.300 that is what I

01:45:07.300 I gotta sit in and rely on

01:45:10.120 that's what I choose to focus on this Christmas

01:45:13.880 and for each day forward

01:45:15.700 that's what matters most

01:45:18.540 look for the good

01:45:20.740 it's out there

01:45:21.580 miracles are happening

01:45:23.100 all around us

01:45:25.460 just open your eyes

01:45:27.620 to the truth

01:45:29.360 Merry Christmas

01:45:31.260 God bless America
