00:00:00.000 Let me tell you about American financing.
00:00:02.260 Please, please, please, please refinance your home and lock in lower rates right now.
00:00:10.880 I think it was Citibank that came out, Bank of America City.
00:00:14.040 One of them said that they're expecting now seven rate hikes from the Fed.
00:00:21.080 And if they don't hike the rates, we are looking now at hyperinflation.
00:00:27.520 So it's all good news.
00:00:28.700 It's all good news.
00:00:30.120 Please get out of those high interest credit cards.
00:00:34.320 Lock your low interest loans in right now.
00:00:38.640 American financing, 800-906-2440 or American financing.net.
00:00:43.200 Do it now.
00:00:44.560 American financing.net, 800-906-2440.
00:00:49.120 You could save up to two months of mortgage payments and close in as little as 10 days.
00:00:54.800 Plus, you save a ton of money over the life of the loan.
00:00:57.940 Do it now.
00:00:58.340 Got no room to compromise.
00:01:24.220 What you are about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
00:01:49.540 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:01:53.860 Hello, America, and welcome to the program.
00:02:00.400 I want to talk to you about what is coming and just talk to you one-on-one about what we should do.
00:02:14.980 And we go there in 60 seconds.
00:02:22.300 If you're somebody who suffers from aches and pains, especially if you suffer from the frequent and severe pain,
00:02:27.920 today could be the day that you begin to change your life and get your life back.
00:02:31.780 I've been talking to you for years now about relief factor because it honestly, it changed my life.
00:02:38.340 I've watched so many other people that have tried it, and it has changed their life.
00:02:43.320 Relief factor.
00:02:44.200 It was created by doctors.
00:02:45.580 It has four key ingredients, so it attacks inflation, which is the major source of most of our pain.
00:02:51.000 It attacks it in four different directions, like ibuprofen 800, only is coming from one direction.
00:02:59.140 It doesn't work for me, but relief factor does.
00:03:02.460 Three-week quick start.
00:03:03.600 Developed for you, $19.95.
00:03:05.480 Dollar a day like a trial pack.
00:03:07.020 Hundreds of thousands of people have ordered relief factor.
00:03:09.200 70% of them go on to order more.
00:03:12.080 That says a lot.
00:03:13.340 Relieffactor.com or 1-800-4-RELIEF.
00:03:17.640 Relieffactor.com.
00:03:19.020 800-4-RELIEF.
00:03:21.120 Feel the difference.
00:03:24.060 All right.
00:03:24.620 I have to tell you, I am struggling just like you are on what do you do?
00:03:32.860 What do you do?
00:03:33.580 And I want to save the country, and I'm involved as much as I can be, and we all have different roles to play, but my job is to warn you and to help you prepare, but also to remind you what it feels like when we're home.
00:04:00.360 That has been my guiding principles, to warn you and to remind you what it felt like when things were right.
00:04:13.580 So, I'm going to warn you today on the economy that, again, I'm always wrong on timing, but I feel like I felt in 2011 when we moved to Dallas.
00:04:28.720 Except I think there are more signs of it now.
00:04:34.180 I moved to Dallas because I said at the time, the cable news outlets are going to crater.
00:04:42.720 They're just going to crater.
00:04:43.860 They're going to blow themselves up because it's just, there's something wrong here with all of them.
00:04:48.680 And I said, and then when that happens, I don't want to be living in New York because it's going to suck down the entire city.
00:04:58.940 So, we left, and it seemed a little crazy at the time.
00:05:04.520 And especially after, you know, seven or eight years where everything seemed to be okay, I'm like, okay, well, maybe I was wrong about all of this.
00:05:15.660 I wasn't wrong, as we now know.
00:05:18.300 Look at New York.
00:05:19.800 Look at the cable news companies.
00:05:21.920 So, we are here.
00:05:25.420 And lately, I've been telling you about different ways that, you know, you invest in things.
00:05:30.700 And do not take my word on investing.
00:05:33.440 I am the worst investor you could possibly imagine.
00:05:37.540 Okay?
00:05:38.040 My timing is all screwed up.
00:05:40.500 So, please do not follow my advice on investing.
00:05:46.480 Consider it.
00:05:47.980 But then reconsider it.
00:05:50.640 I have been looking at what is going to be of value.
00:05:58.100 Gold is going to be of value.
00:06:00.740 Okay?
00:06:01.240 But in 1933, they bought all the gold back.
00:06:06.540 Okay?
00:06:07.720 They made 1% on gold, and gold is going to skyrocket soon, I think.
00:06:15.760 I think we are headed, Stu, would you just look at the price of gold today?
00:06:19.700 I think we are, I mean, they're doing everything they can to suppress the price of gold.
00:06:26.320 It should be at $3,000 easy today.
00:06:30.120 But it is going to go to $3,000.
00:06:32.640 Between $3,000 and $5,000, the world is insane.
00:06:35.240 Especially with all of the air brakes that they have put on getting people into gold.
00:06:43.820 It is going to go up, and then they're going to invite you to turn it in.
00:06:52.640 And they'll invite you to turn it in for a new digital currency.
00:06:57.100 And they'll give you 1% increase on your gold.
00:06:59.880 That's what they did in 1933 when they took the gold and silver certificates away and said,
00:07:05.560 we have a new greenback.
00:07:07.960 Turn in your gold.
00:07:09.500 Or go to jail on a $10,000 fine.
00:07:12.800 Okay?
00:07:13.600 What's gold at today?
00:07:14.820 About $1,900.
00:07:15.960 $1,900, yeah.
00:07:16.900 Okay?
00:07:17.160 That's a pretty big spike for gold.
00:07:20.700 All right.
00:07:21.460 So, do I have gold?
00:07:25.680 Well, I lost most of it in a lake, a fishing accident with my guns.
00:07:29.800 Oh, really?
00:07:30.360 Yeah.
00:07:30.700 Same, that same fishing accident.
00:07:32.780 You should not, every time you go fishing, something like this happens.
00:07:35.360 I know, I know.
00:07:36.480 Well, I do have my collection.
00:07:38.840 I do have an antique gold collection.
00:07:41.620 Right.
00:07:41.920 You wouldn't take those out on a boat when you're fishing.
00:07:43.880 No, and I have those, but that's a collection.
00:07:48.640 So, you know, you wouldn't just melt those down.
00:07:51.100 No, you couldn't.
00:07:51.600 You know, these are antique.
00:07:52.460 They're collector's items.
00:07:53.440 Anyway, so you have that.
00:07:57.360 You have Bitcoin.
00:07:58.640 I am so torn on Bitcoin.
00:08:00.700 Because I believe Bitcoin is the answer for everything we're going through.
00:08:06.540 Just get out of this currency and get the power back to you.
00:08:14.440 So, the government can't control everything, but the government wants to control everything.
00:08:21.240 So, what are they going to do with Bitcoin?
00:08:23.320 Eventually, they are going to say it's a Fed coin.
00:08:26.860 So, turn your Bitcoin in, and we'll give you 1%.
00:08:31.780 Okay?
00:08:33.460 And it'll be on the new Fed digital coin.
00:08:37.140 That's how they'll do that.
00:08:38.340 It's not going to cost them anything.
00:08:40.620 They're getting rid of their competition, and it's all ones and zeros anyway.
00:08:44.920 So, what's the big deal?
00:08:48.680 So, those two assets.
00:08:51.180 Then, you look at land.
00:08:53.880 Land is always something good, except under this regime, we are looking now at a regime that is going to manage the mud puddles.
00:09:03.700 And I am not kidding you.
00:09:06.340 If you go to Colorado right now, in California, you have to collect the rain.
00:09:12.660 Okay?
00:09:13.160 Nobody knows what to do with it, but there's a law.
00:09:15.760 You have to collect the rain.
00:09:17.480 So, every bit of rain that comes off your roof goes into a barrel.
00:09:21.880 Okay.
00:09:23.280 I've talked to so many Californians.
00:09:24.860 They're like, I have it.
00:09:25.640 I don't hook it up.
00:09:26.540 I don't know what to do with it.
00:09:27.680 What do I?
00:09:28.060 How do I?
00:09:28.720 What?
00:09:28.960 The exact opposite in Colorado.
00:09:32.920 The Colorado state legislature has said, the rain belongs to the state.
00:09:39.720 So, you cannot collect it.
00:09:43.840 Well, that really hurts farmers.
00:09:46.520 I mean, that's crazy talk.
00:09:48.280 That's crazy talk.
00:09:49.660 The state owns the rain?
00:09:52.920 No, God pretty much owns the rain.
00:09:54.700 And he rains on the good people and the bad people equally.
00:09:58.960 Land, if their goal is to have you own nothing, there's two ways to do it.
00:10:10.940 Impoverish everyone through hyperinflation and crashes of the markets.
00:10:18.020 Get people to buy land and houses and everything at the very top of the market.
00:10:21.880 And then, as all bubbles do, when it pops, people need the government handouts.
00:10:28.960 If they can't get you out that way, they will tax you out.
00:10:33.080 We are going to look at sheriffs of Nottingham all over the country.
00:10:37.660 It will not be our sheriffs, however.
00:10:40.140 It will be our federal government that is doing it.
00:10:42.980 So, today, I look at everything and I say to you, I'm in a different place.
00:10:54.540 There's been a fundamental shift in me over the last few weeks.
00:10:58.620 And I'm willing to talk about it now.
00:11:01.360 And you make your own decisions.
00:11:03.080 I don't believe in an awful lot of stuff.
00:11:07.320 I do believe in the inherent evil of man.
00:11:16.340 And I believe in the goodness of man.
00:11:20.000 When times get tough, usually the evil side comes up out of a lot of people.
00:11:28.140 When times get tough in America, a lot of times the goodness comes out.
00:11:33.980 And it's overwhelming.
00:11:36.160 We're entering a time where both of those will exist.
00:11:39.300 I would like you to consider that the only two things of value, food, sustenance, shelter, food, shelter.
00:11:55.240 We're back down at, what's that, is it Maslow's pyramid of hierarchy of needs?
00:12:03.020 Because we're down at the baseline where, what do you mean, what do you mean I can't buy that app?
00:12:10.400 Those days are going to be gone soon.
00:12:12.260 You're just going to be looking at food and shelter, okay, and security.
00:12:19.040 So, find ways to make sure that you and everyone you love are sheltered.
00:12:28.440 And the only thing of value is going to be food.
00:12:31.380 And, you know, products that you need every day.
00:12:35.880 I would suggest, before anybody starts accusing anyone of hoarding,
00:12:42.560 I would suggest that everything you buy in food today is going to have a massive increase.
00:12:52.440 Because what it's going to cost you a year from now is not what you're paying for it today.
00:12:59.560 So, anytime you can invest in food for your family, the better.
00:13:06.400 Anytime you can invest in food for others, even better.
00:13:12.020 If my job is to remind you what it feels like at home, what did that feel like?
00:13:22.860 I mean, it might have been really bad for some people.
00:13:25.060 So, don't, don't, you don't imagine this.
00:13:27.320 Just imagine what you're, what the, I don't even know what the typical family is.
00:13:32.960 Just what we know.
00:13:34.660 Think about it, this, going home to heaven, going home to God.
00:13:38.620 What is that?
00:13:40.060 You will feel safe and surrounded by love.
00:13:45.460 So, do everything you can to keep your family safe, well fed.
00:13:54.340 Make sure that you have control of the things that you need every day.
00:14:01.900 And get yourself surrounded by people who are like-minded.
00:14:06.300 Do not be the odd man out.
00:14:11.280 Because we're going to split into two kinds of people.
00:14:17.760 Those kinds of people that will round people up and put them in camps because they don't wear a mask.
00:14:24.380 Or because they don't believe, I don't know, that Donald Trump was, you know, a great president.
00:14:31.660 There will be evil on both sides and they'll just want, they will not consider the Constitution.
00:14:40.380 Times have changed.
00:14:41.240 We all love the Constitution, but.
00:14:43.420 Or the Constitution is nothing but a dusty document.
00:14:46.780 Marxism is right.
00:14:47.840 Whatever.
00:14:49.520 Those people are going to congregate.
00:14:52.080 So will good people.
00:14:53.720 The people who respect the Constitution, respect others, respect God, and are humble.
00:15:00.160 Find that community and do not waste time.
00:15:06.500 Back in a minute.
00:15:10.460 If you've got one of those smart refrigerators, let me ask you something.
00:15:14.860 Is your refrigerator watching you?
00:15:17.560 Is it listening to you?
00:15:19.900 Is your refrigerator, because this happens to me, is your refrigerator judging you?
00:15:24.400 Yeah.
00:15:25.220 Every time I open, I go to the refrigerator.
00:15:27.360 It's like, hey, fatso.
00:15:28.720 What are you going to pull out of me this time?
00:15:30.840 Anyway, all devices now.
00:15:33.960 We are headed towards the world, an Internet of Things, where our refrigerators, dishwashers, everything's talking about us and about what we're doing.
00:15:45.980 Now, think about how that ramps up.
00:15:48.680 You should see this podcast I did yesterday.
00:15:55.600 It's available now on The Blaze, and it'll be available on Saturday.
00:15:59.540 Did you know your phone, and you have to go through a lot of steps on Apple to have this work.
00:16:06.060 But, you know, remember we used to talk about the vacuums, the Roomba, and they'll go around and they'll map your house, and then they send it back to, you know, Roomba headquarters, wherever that is.
00:16:19.580 And I thought, boy, that's, you know, that's not good.
00:16:21.940 Somebody has a map of my house.
00:16:23.640 They could hack in and get a map of my house.
00:16:25.400 Yeah, forget about that.
00:16:26.480 Do you realize that your phone, and I don't remember the exact numbers, it was quoted by the guest, your phone sends out like 400 radar signals a minute.
00:16:40.000 And it doesn't just map a one-dimensional, it maps everything.
00:16:46.240 So it knows where in the room you are, where your keys are.
00:16:51.440 They're on the table, dummy.
00:16:52.620 It can map everything in great detail.
00:16:58.980 I talked to him in the podcast, so how do we secure ourselves with this?
00:17:02.420 What does that mean?
00:17:04.540 It's a different world.
00:17:06.020 And if you want to take just some basic steps to protect yourself on cyber criminals, et cetera, et cetera, I would suggest that you take the basic step of getting identity theft from LifeLock.
00:17:18.300 They can't guard against everything, as you can imagine, but they're the best in the business.

00:17:35.120 Station ID.
00:17:35.740 I want to introduce you to the newest addition to my staff.
00:17:53.160 Michaela, you've been here for how long?
00:17:55.220 Three months.
00:17:55.960 Three months.
00:17:56.980 And just real quick, you kind of were a liberal, kind of?
00:18:03.000 No, I was an actor.
00:18:04.520 You were an actor.
00:18:06.120 Okay.
00:18:06.580 All right.
00:18:07.020 She was an actor.
00:18:08.320 So all of my best friends.
00:18:10.300 Were a liberal.
00:18:10.880 And still are.
00:18:11.660 Okay, good.
00:18:12.340 Good for you.
00:18:13.800 And I found you out in the wilderness because you were doing a podcast.
00:18:21.380 Yes.
00:18:21.640 And a blog.
00:18:22.580 And a blog.
00:18:23.700 And you wrote about storytelling.
00:18:26.320 And I saw that and I was like, ooh, this person gets storytelling.
00:18:32.380 And so I wrote to you.
00:18:35.060 You didn't believe it was me for a while.
00:18:37.080 No, I made you call me.
00:18:38.180 Yeah.
00:18:39.000 And so I've hired her because her values are just so straight up.
00:18:43.560 She's a millennial.
00:18:44.480 She sees things differently far as generationally.
00:18:49.440 And unbeknownst to me, she's been trying to take all of my advice on telling you, when I tell you, you should do this, she's been trying to do it.
00:19:00.320 And she's done it for a couple of reasons.
00:19:03.440 One, you believe in that, right?
00:19:04.960 I believe you.
00:19:05.560 Yeah.
00:19:05.780 Okay.
00:19:06.140 And the second is.
00:19:08.460 I want to see if it can be done without my head actually exploding.
00:19:14.800 So you're saying like all the little pieces of, you need to call your congressman on X, Y, and Z.
00:19:19.460 Yes.
00:19:19.580 This type of stuff.
00:19:20.380 Yeah.
00:19:20.660 You do a lot of that.
00:19:21.780 A lot.
00:19:22.040 Yeah, I know.
00:19:22.620 Well, because I know everybody's not going to do all.
00:19:25.040 Right.
00:19:25.500 Except for one.
00:19:25.900 But I'm paid to be here.
00:19:27.020 So I have the time.
00:19:28.180 Yeah.
00:19:28.460 I'm paid to hear you here too.
00:19:29.720 I never listen to them.
00:19:32.700 So you've tried to do all of them and you've come up with some roadblocks on a few of them that are harder than it seems.
00:19:42.700 Yes.
00:19:43.160 There's social roadblocks, financial roadblocks, knowledge roadblocks, specifically in relationship to banking.
00:19:51.080 So I'm the last of the millennials.
00:19:53.280 I'm 25.
00:19:54.440 So the last of the Mohicans.
00:19:55.940 And I am just starting to accrue wealth at all.
00:20:01.480 And all I'm hearing from you and other people that I trust in the conservative movement who are older than me is divest.
00:20:07.100 And I'm like, divest?
00:20:08.420 I'm not even invested.
00:20:09.720 There's nothing to divest in.
00:20:11.080 And so the first thing I wanted to do was switch to a local bank.
00:20:17.460 That's been hard.
00:20:18.020 There's more steps to that than you would think, practically.
00:20:21.080 So anyone who's beating their head against a wall saying, I believe Glenn Beck, but I can't get my money out of Wells Fargo.
00:20:26.220 Am I stupid?
00:20:27.620 I don't know.
00:20:28.160 Maybe we're all stupid.
00:20:29.260 But I had to go online first and do find your local bank.
00:20:33.160 There were two different websites I used.
00:20:34.340 I used banklocal.info.
00:20:36.680 And even there, not all of those banks are local.
00:20:39.820 When you find out, you go there and they're like, I'm a local bank.
00:20:42.940 No, they're lying.
00:20:43.780 They're connected to JP Morgan.
00:20:45.820 They're connected to Wells Fargo.
00:20:47.760 You have to call them.
00:20:49.140 This is the social barrier.
00:20:50.420 You have to call them and say, hi, are you connected to any bigger banks?
00:20:54.940 Also, do you have any connection to ESG scores?
00:20:57.480 At that point, you'll get connected to somebody else because the person you're talking to doesn't know what ESG scores are.
00:21:03.000 You'll get connected to higher and higher ups.
00:21:04.620 And finally, you'll find out yay or nay about ESG scores.
00:21:07.820 You have to be very vigilant and very, very kind.
00:21:10.700 Otherwise, they'll give you an answer that's like, probably not.
00:21:14.080 And you'll find out on their website.
00:21:15.480 They actually are connected.
00:21:17.140 So banking local and the most important step that I have learned is not only do I have to want to do this, but I have a husband and he has to want to do it.
00:21:28.380 So I sit here every day.
00:21:29.640 I'm 25 years old and I hear Glenn Beck, like everyone listening, say we're heading for a catastrophe.
00:21:35.360 And I'm like, oh, my gosh, you're going to my husband.
00:21:37.500 I'm like, we're heading for a catastrophe.
00:21:39.120 But then I also hear him say, don't act out of panic or fear.
00:21:41.400 It's hard for me to take that advice sometimes, Glenn, but I'm doing my best.
00:21:44.560 I know it's hard for me.
00:21:45.300 And I go to my husband, who's not listening to you every single day.
00:21:47.960 And I say, oh, my gosh, we've got to take our money out of the banks and we have to invest differently and we have to put canned food in all of our closets.
00:21:53.880 And he's like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
00:21:55.900 You need to slow down.
00:21:57.960 Yeah, I know.
00:21:58.660 There's a lot of people that are in that situation.
00:22:01.720 The biggest thing for me is trying to bring people along in a way that's not so scary in a way that's like, look, these are the things that we agree on.
00:22:09.580 We both want to have a family.
00:22:10.940 We both want to have a home.
00:22:12.060 We both want to be relatively successful and we have to find ways to negotiate those things together.
00:22:19.340 Because if my husband and I don't agree on this, this will not this will not work.
00:22:23.520 More in just a second.
00:22:25.380 Great advice.
00:22:26.100 The Glenn Beck Program.
00:22:36.660 So, you know, things, you know, I just I mean, we all want family.
00:22:42.880 We all want our house.
00:22:44.100 We all want children.
00:22:45.280 And, you know, there's this thing that maybe you might want to check out.
00:22:48.760 Not crazy urgency urgently, but like, you know, by the end of the day, maybe the Tuttle Twins books.
00:22:57.080 Our kids are being indoctrinated.
00:23:01.180 Yesterday we had James Lindsay on.
00:23:02.980 And if you really listen to that or read his book, you know, you know what the goals are.
00:23:07.860 And it is to make your children into little Marxists.
00:23:13.180 You need to fight this.
00:23:14.940 And this is the only way they're going to get it is through you.
00:23:18.580 Tuttle Twins.
00:23:19.240 They have books for teens and they are on an extended Valentine's Day sale that ends today.
00:23:25.060 They are really great for teens.
00:23:27.540 If you don't have teens, maybe you have grandchildren or younger children.
00:23:31.140 Please steep discount on their children's series as well.
00:23:34.700 Fifty dollars for all 12 books and activity workbooks.
00:23:38.520 Tuttle Twins Beck dot com.
00:23:40.260 Go there now.

00:23:42.720 It ends tonight.
00:23:44.040 It's Tuttle Twins Beck dot com.
00:23:46.160 But don't panic.
00:23:46.960 I mean, just relax.
00:23:50.000 Head over to Blaze TV dot com slash Glenn.
00:23:52.000 The promo code is Glenn for 10 bucks off your subscription to Blaze TV.
00:24:01.140 This is the Glenn Beck program.
00:24:06.960 We have a loaded program for you today.
00:24:09.580 A lot of good information.
00:24:11.800 Michaela, hopefully we can have you back later on in the program because something has just come up.
00:24:17.160 But we will definitely have you back on Monday because you have done not just banking, but also investments, calling our legislators.
00:24:26.200 That's been fun.
00:24:27.280 Yeah, been fun.
00:24:28.600 OK, good.
00:24:28.980 So we'll talk to you hopefully later on in the program.
00:24:32.040 And then she's working on a project to help you pretty much give you the do's and don't list and the the things that she's learned along the way.
00:24:42.460 And possibly I'd like to work with you on ways to talk to your spouse that don't freak them out, because I I'm in the same situation as as you guys.
00:24:53.260 I mean, I'm in the same situation.
00:24:54.720 My family trusts me, but they kind of wait for me to lead, which is not always fun.
00:25:05.540 But the other thing is, is, you know, try living with me.
00:25:10.840 You're like, sometimes I sometimes I have to turn you off.
00:25:13.520 Think about being in my house.
00:25:15.900 OK, it's why I paint all the time, because otherwise I think about this all the time and I drag everybody down into a really bad place.
00:25:24.080 So I'm with you and we need ways to communicate with those who who don't necessarily listen and and get it.
00:25:33.240 Thank you so much, Michaela.
00:25:34.480 We'll talk to you again.
00:25:35.360 Let me let me give you something that just came out from Canada, from the House of Commons and the Speaker of the House.
00:25:44.840 Police operation house will not sit on Friday, February 18th.
00:25:50.200 That's today.
00:25:51.360 As per the Parliamentary Protective Services, PPS, most recent email notification, a police operation is expected to take place on Wellington Street and other locations in the downtown core of Ottawa.
00:26:04.120 Given these exceptional circumstances and following discussion with all recognized party leadership, the sitting today of Parliament has been canceled.
00:26:14.140 We wish to remind everyone that safety is paramount.
00:26:16.920 The situation is ever changing.
00:26:19.020 The continued presence of vehicles and demonstrators associated with the convoy alongside police operations will impact the downtown core.
00:26:26.500 If you are not in the House of Commons precinct, stay away from the downtown core until further notice.
00:26:34.540 The police will arise, will advise when it is safe to return downtown.
00:26:39.540 Should you already be in the precinct, remain in your building and await further instructions from police.
00:26:48.420 Holy cow, what is happening in Canada?
00:26:53.160 From Rebel News, Ezra Levant.
00:26:55.380 Hello, Ezra.
00:26:57.380 Hi, Glenn.
00:26:59.300 The Parliament was debating the Emergencies Act.
00:27:03.660 That's this martial law.
00:27:05.620 They were literally debating it.
00:27:07.420 And then police said, yeah, for your safety, you guys had better stop debating it.
00:27:12.440 Now, of course, the truckers have been in Ottawa for three weeks now.
00:27:17.380 But apparently today is the only day that's so dangerous that Parliament has to shut down, Glenn.
00:27:24.940 It's a real shame that it worked out that way.
00:27:27.740 But hang on just a second.
00:27:29.740 Ezra, it does them no good to have Parliament seated on Monday.
00:27:37.300 And this says that there is, let's see, expected a police operation is expected to take place on Wellington Street.
00:27:46.960 I assume that's right there in front of Parliament and other locations.
00:27:50.720 So they're saying that something is going to happen this weekend.
00:27:54.100 They're saying that something is going to happen.
00:27:55.100 They're saying that something is going to happen.
00:27:56.100 They're saying that something is going to happen.
00:27:57.100 Yeah.
00:27:57.480 And what started last night, they started going out and decapitating, so to speak, the leadership of the convoy.
00:28:05.160 They arrested Tamara Litch, who was the woman who originally got the GoFundMe going.
00:28:12.000 She's a young Métis woman from Western Canada.
00:28:15.880 They arrested several others.
00:28:18.600 They seized bank accounts.
00:28:21.500 I mean, they've been doing that for several days now.
00:28:25.500 So I should tell you that there are still truckers in Ottawa, but it's smaller than it has been.
00:28:31.680 They've opened up pretty much every single road has at least one lane open.
00:28:38.520 Reminder, in three weeks, there has not been a single act of violence or property damage done.
00:28:44.600 Hang on, hang on.
00:28:45.780 Hang on.
00:28:47.040 I think I would like to go.
00:28:48.460 I'd like to go further than that.
00:28:49.980 In the week before the protesters, there were 31 violent crimes in Ottawa.
00:28:56.800 This last week, there was one violent crime.
00:29:00.920 That is, it's actually reducing crime.
00:29:06.240 Yeah, and because people are out on the street and they're shoveling snow and they're feeding the homeless and, you know, they're having on-top parties.
00:29:16.460 But Trudeau needs to justify his state of emergency.
00:29:21.380 By the way, Glenn, the Emergencies Act is such extreme legislation.
00:29:26.040 It was not even invoked after 9-11.
00:29:28.380 It was not even invoked seven years ago when an ISIS terrorist broke into Parliament in a hail of gunfire.
00:29:38.160 So Trudeau has looked at three weeks of peaceful protests.
00:29:42.800 Yeah, were there parking offenses?
00:29:44.920 Sure, yeah.
00:29:45.700 Lots of parking tickets.
00:29:46.860 You betcha.
00:29:48.180 Was there some loud horn honking?
00:29:50.240 You bet there was.
00:29:51.460 Until a judge ordered them to stop and they stopped.
00:29:54.560 There was a bridge between Windsor and Detroit that was shut down for a couple days.
00:29:58.800 Local cops got the truckers to move.
00:30:01.280 No violence, no resistance.
00:30:03.060 So, you know, a couple of minor traffic police matters.
00:30:07.000 No violence at all.
00:30:08.080 But Trudeau, never one to waste a crisis, authoritarian by nature, publicly praising people like Castro and Xi Jinping, thought this was his moment.
00:30:21.480 And so he invoked the Emergencies Act.
00:30:23.920 But it doesn't make sense from a public order point of view because, you know, it's just regular cops that could move these trucks if they were breaking the law.
00:30:31.000 Well, he's really using it to suspend civil liberties, suspend parliament.
00:30:37.220 And I think the most terrifying part, Glenn, is that he is ordering Canada's banks to hand over to him whatever private information he wants about his political opponents.
00:30:50.320 And when he directs them to, to seize their banking funds.
00:30:55.000 And they've already seized millions of dollars.
00:30:57.260 I want to say one thing because I know most of your listeners are American.
00:31:01.980 As you may know, Glenn, there's free trade between Canada and the United States.
00:31:06.540 And that free trade is the strongest when it comes to financial services.
00:31:11.460 We have our Toronto Stock Exchange.
00:31:13.700 You have the mighty New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ and things like that.
00:31:18.400 There is a tremendous amount of back and forth between our two countries.
00:31:21.860 It's seamless.
00:31:23.020 And we both trust each other.
00:31:25.000 And we've trusted each other for decades, even centuries.
00:31:28.680 But now, all of a sudden, if you look at the emergency order, and I encourage you to do so,
00:31:34.140 this edict that Trudeau has ordered banks to give up information on anyone who has supported a trucker
00:31:43.100 and to freeze bank accounts at his command of anyone who has supported the truckers,
00:31:48.560 that applies to foreign banks operating in Canada.
00:31:52.620 There are dozens of U.S. banks operating in Canada.
00:31:57.420 And by the way, there are Canadian banks operating in America.
00:32:01.520 So, this emergency order specifically has the word foreign in it three times.
00:32:07.700 So, if you're a customer of Wells Fargo, if you're a customer of Citibank, let's say you're down there in Dallas, Texas,
00:32:14.020 and you donated $100 to the truckers.
00:32:17.900 But you're with any bank that has a branch in Canada.
00:32:20.760 You are specifically covered by this emergency order.
00:32:23.500 So, what's the head of Citibank or Wells Fargo supposed to do?
00:32:28.100 Because the little banana republic, tin pot tyrant, Justin Trudeau says,
00:32:33.420 hand over the data and freeze the account.
00:32:35.700 But that's against U.S. banking law, U.S. privacy law, and the First Amendment.
00:32:40.780 So, what are you going to do?
00:32:42.440 And by the way, it applies to U.S. insurance companies that insure anyone in Canada as well.
00:32:47.080 And there are dozens and dozens of U.S. insurance companies.
00:32:50.300 Quick example, let's say you're an American trucker who goes back and forth between Canada and U.S.
00:32:56.500 There's hundreds of such men.
00:32:58.620 And let's say you honk your horn or you donated $100 to the truckers.
00:33:03.060 But you're a U.S. driver who has a U.S. insurance policy with a U.S. insurance company.
00:33:08.760 You're an All-American.
00:33:09.960 You just happen to come into Canada on your route.
00:33:12.840 Well, this emergency order requires your insurer to cancel your insurance policy based on your politics.
00:33:19.560 It is a legal order.
00:33:22.780 And Trudeau says, hey, guys, don't worry about it.
00:33:25.160 I will protect you from civil lawsuits.
00:33:27.680 I will grant you immunity to attack my enemies for me.
00:33:31.260 Well, that might work in Canada.
00:33:32.720 But like I said, you're a U.S. trucker, U.S. insurer, U.S. everything.
00:33:37.660 Are you really going to rip up your contract with an American citizen for expressing his First Amendment rights?
00:33:42.880 If you don't, Trudeau's going to sanction you in Canada.
00:33:46.460 But if you do, you're breaking American law.
00:33:50.020 Trudeau has removed Canada from the family of nations of liberal democracies that can be trusted.
00:33:56.140 He is causing a run on the banks.
00:33:58.140 Two days ago, all three, the three biggest banks in Canada, and I tried because I have an account with one, and I tried to log on.
00:34:07.940 All three of them, their websites were down.
00:34:10.820 At the same time, how is that possible?
00:34:13.340 Is that a hack?
00:34:14.340 Or is that millions of Canadians saying, yikes, this is like Venezuela now.
00:34:18.860 I think I'm going to take my money out of the bank and put it in gold or just stuff it under my mattress because I can't trust Trudeau using the banks as his errand boys.
00:34:28.360 So it's bad enough for a Canadian.
00:34:30.540 But I got to tell you, Glenn, if you're an American, you are covered by his emergency orders unless America stands up to it.
00:34:37.740 Excuse me.
00:34:40.540 Yeah, I see Joe Biden really disagreeing with Trudeau.
00:34:44.840 Hold on just a second, because I want to get your feeling on how this is going to end, because it can't end peacefully because Trudeau would lose.
00:34:59.020 How do you see this ending for Trudeau and for Canada and America, the world, the Western world?
00:35:08.480 Back with Ezra Levant from Rebel News.
00:35:11.940 You can go to rebelnews.com and and follow all of this.

00:36:45.920 The Glenn Beck program.
00:36:47.220 This is the Glenn Beck program.
00:37:05.620 We are so grateful that you have tuned in today.
00:37:08.600 We have Ezra Levant, the founder of Rebel Rebel News.
00:37:12.260 He's the host of the Ezra Levant show.
00:37:14.740 You can follow him at Rebel News dot com.
00:37:17.460 But also what is the follow the truckers or something like that dot com?
00:37:21.860 What is that, Ezra?
00:37:23.240 Yeah, we have a compilation page called Convoy Reports.
00:37:27.640 Convoy.
00:37:29.080 Convoy Reports dot com.
00:37:31.540 We've had reporters in nine different cities.
00:37:34.320 Ottawa is the hot spot today, but there have been other cities across Canada really is like a general strike, Glenn, a peaceful general strike against the lockdowns.
00:37:45.140 Ezra, how does this end?
00:37:47.800 I mean, I don't know what to believe as an American.
00:37:50.380 I don't believe I mean, your press is paid for by the government, not you, but the CBC and everything else.
00:37:58.740 So I don't believe them, but I don't know what to believe.
00:38:04.000 What do people in Canada think about this?
00:38:07.920 What's going to happen?
00:38:09.880 Well, there's two baffling narratives right now.
00:38:13.580 We have the state run media.
00:38:15.760 We have a state broadcaster called the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
00:38:18.980 It's larger than all private media combined.
00:38:21.740 And then ninety nine percent of the private media take an annual bailout from Trudeau.
00:38:26.820 So he owns the CBC.
00:38:29.000 He rents the private media and it shows.
00:38:32.700 But Rebel News and maybe five on five other little companies.
00:38:37.640 And I mean, many don't take the cash.
00:38:40.200 So we try and tell the other side of the story.
00:38:42.200 And we've had tens of millions of views of our videos in the last couple of weeks as people are thirsty for the non-government narrative.
00:38:52.860 Because what has happened here is that 100,000 truckers have participated in these convoys over the past three weeks.
00:39:00.560 Now, there's only hundreds left in Ottawa.
00:39:02.880 Right.
00:39:03.080 At its peak, there were 100,000 snaking their way across Canada.
00:39:06.860 And a million people went out to see them on the overpasses and the side of the highway.
00:39:11.580 So you've got a million people who saw with their own eyes the truth of it.
00:39:15.340 And now you've got so you've got that.
00:39:17.300 I've got about 90.
00:39:18.240 I've got about 90 seconds.
00:39:19.740 So go ahead.
00:39:20.680 Here's how it's going to end.
00:39:22.080 There's nothing to end.
00:39:23.520 There is no violence to put down.
00:39:25.980 The whole thing is a kind of hoax, a pretext for Trudeau to have a sort of internal coup.
00:39:33.080 To seize power, to do extrajudicial arrests and seizures of bank accounts of his enemies.
00:39:39.580 There's nothing to end because it was all just peaceful horn honking.
00:39:44.060 The convoy has already won in that it showed mass resistance to the lockdown.
00:39:50.440 And so does Trudeau use that?
00:39:52.000 Does Parliament come back and does he pay a price in the end?
00:39:58.120 I don't know.
00:39:58.980 I doubt it.
00:39:59.620 I mean, he's being propped up by the socialists.
00:40:01.860 Trudeau is he's an authoritarian and he's moving Canada towards his father figure, Fidel Castro.
00:40:11.280 He really is following that example.
00:40:13.240 He's always praised Fidel Castro.
00:40:15.760 And I think he's trying to make it Cuba of the north just without the warm beaches.
00:40:20.360 Holy cow.
00:40:21.640 Well, that's what everybody wants.
00:40:23.840 Cuba without the beaches and the and the wonderful temperatures.
00:40:30.440 That's that's the world's been clamoring for that.
00:40:32.660 Ezra, thank you so much.
00:40:34.880 Stay safe.
00:40:35.980 Let us know how we can help you.
00:40:38.280 That is the founder of Rebel News.

00:41:07.280 It could be a dicey weekend up in Canada.
00:41:09.760 This is the Glenn Beck program.
00:41:33.760 Got no room to compromise.
00:41:39.760 We got to stand together if we're going to survive.
00:41:45.520 Stand up straight and hold the line.
00:41:50.700 It's a new day or time to rise.
00:41:57.120 What you are about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
00:42:02.940 This is the Glenn Beck program.
00:42:05.560 Hello, America, and welcome to the Glenn Beck program.
00:42:11.180 We're glad you're here.
00:42:12.280 It is Friday.
00:42:13.520 We're going to get the latest and the greatest.
00:42:16.080 What were the big stories of the week?
00:42:18.480 I'm guessing the Durham report and the trucker convoy are at least in the top five, if not the top two.
00:42:27.660 With Bill O'Reilly, we go there in 60 seconds.
00:42:29.820 When you're living with a lot of pain in your life, you please.
00:42:39.100 It is easy to feel like it's just normal and I'm never going to get out of it.
00:42:44.180 But please take relief factor.
00:42:46.340 Now, I've had pain for a long time.
00:42:48.980 It's been in the lower regions.
00:42:50.940 It's not exactly my lower back.
00:42:52.500 It's more, and I found out that it was Bill O'Reilly, and no matter how much relief factor I take, I can't get that pain out of that nether region.
00:43:03.060 It's weird.
00:43:04.400 But for all other aches and pains, it has done wonders for me.
00:43:08.180 Try the three-week quick start.
00:43:09.620 Developed for you only $19.95.
00:43:11.720 It's a dollar a day like a trial pack.
00:43:13.840 He is holding, so he hears this, right?
00:43:15.940 Yeah, okay, good.
00:43:17.300 Hundreds of, oh, I'm sorry, Bill.
00:43:18.840 I didn't mean that 70% of the people who try it go on to order more.
00:43:23.780 It's relieffactor.com or call 1-800-4-RELIEF.
00:43:26.900 1-800, the number 4-RELIEF.
00:43:29.140 Relieffactor.com.
00:43:30.740 Feel the difference.
00:43:32.620 Bill O'Reilly, what a nice, pleasant surprise.
00:43:35.840 I'm not going to even ask how you are because I know the same.
00:43:41.120 Well, no, I'm worse today because you just mentioned your lower regions.
00:43:46.360 And just that image, I don't know if I can function today.
00:43:52.980 All right, Bill, what's the biggest story of the week, the most important story of the week?
00:43:58.120 The media ignoring or trying to denigrate the Durham revelation about spying on Trump.
00:44:08.160 So it's not the revelation itself.
00:44:10.720 That's not the biggest story because we don't know what he has.
00:44:17.340 But we, I mean, I've watched the mainstream media when they have covered this.
00:44:21.800 I mean, the New York Times was amazing what they admitted to.
00:44:25.800 But when they did cover it at all, they said, they've got nothing.
00:44:31.800 There's nothing new here.
00:44:33.140 Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.
00:44:33.700 They tried to denigrate, diminish the story.
00:44:36.500 And this is the best example of how the media has become unbelievably corrupt in America.
00:44:44.120 So if you go back to the Watergate years, and that's what put me on the journalistic path.
00:44:50.920 I went to Boston University to get a master's in broadcast journalism because of the Watergate story.
00:44:56.360 I said, wow, look at that, the press, you know, bringing down all of this corruption and telling American people what was happening.
00:45:03.740 I'd like to do this.
00:45:04.720 And that's exactly true.
00:45:06.320 So now we have something very similar to Watergate.
00:45:08.440 In fact, on the No Spin News on BillOReilly.com this week, we had the attorney for Deep Throat.
00:45:15.760 Mark Felt was Deep Throat, the guy who gave all the information on Washington Post, brought Nixon down.
00:45:22.020 We had his attorney on.
00:45:24.160 And the attorney said, hey, this is almost exactly the same.
00:45:28.460 Because the Watergate plumbers are trying to bug the Democratic National Headquarters.
00:45:33.760 And now this operation that had a contract with the federal government to maintain some kind of nebulous software, they were, in effect, bugging the Trump Tower and then later on the White House.
00:45:50.840 Because they were in there on a legitimate contract, but using their access illegitimately.
00:45:57.280 Correct.
00:45:58.020 Does Stu understand?
00:45:59.420 Do you want to do my...
00:46:00.120 No, he understands the word illegitimate.
00:46:01.900 Okay.
00:46:02.340 Let me ask you this.
00:46:07.440 I think it is worse in the fact that they were going into the White House.
00:46:13.080 Watergate, it was never somebody on the outside going into the White House.
00:46:17.120 But, Beck, government contracts go into the White House all the time.
00:46:22.640 I mean, food.
00:46:24.600 So, you know, you're delivering food to the White House.
00:46:27.360 You have access.
00:46:28.320 You walk in.
00:46:29.040 And that doesn't surprise me that they would have an oversight on software.
00:46:35.020 No, no, no.
00:46:35.580 I agree with that.
00:46:36.780 But the fact that it is used against the president is...
00:46:40.680 That's the thing.
00:46:41.480 But Durham didn't...
00:46:42.780 He didn't put forth who might get charged and how the chain of information came out.
00:46:50.420 He didn't do that yet.
00:46:52.060 The real scandal now is that during the Watergate thing, every media operation is trying to get a piece of that.
00:46:59.520 There are a Senate droves of reporters.
00:47:01.860 Now, when you do something very similar, they don't want to do anything.
00:47:05.020 They want the story to go away because it would reflect poorly on the Democratic Party.
00:47:11.060 And so that's what they're doing.
00:47:15.540 Anybody can see the difference and the scandal of the media, which does not want to cover the news anymore.
00:47:25.320 It wants to spit out propaganda.
00:47:29.700 And that's a very dangerous thing for this country.
00:47:33.200 There are two kinds of people now in America, those who watch the mainstream media alone.
00:47:40.300 And those are the mask-wearing, you know, Hillary-denying kind of people.
00:47:46.080 And they think that the truckers up in Canada are absolutely bad guys.
00:47:52.260 And all this Hunter Biden stuff was bullcrap.
00:47:55.460 And then there are those people that might see the mainstream media but also watch other things.
00:48:01.080 And they're either confused or they know that the mainstream media is lying.
00:48:06.920 Where does this end?
00:48:08.620 I don't know where it ends because it's such a problem and it's influencing how all of us live.
00:48:14.340 And most people don't understand that.
00:48:16.560 So the media is in decline.
00:48:18.860 We all know that.
00:48:19.920 Television news ratings are going down.
00:48:22.820 Circulations for newspapers are going down.
00:48:24.820 But they still drive narratives and they still can spit out stuff all over social media, which is where most Americans get their news.
00:48:33.640 And you have it on the other side as well.
00:48:36.380 So immediately after the Durham thing last Friday, one week ago, you had some right-wing commentators go up and go, Hillary Clinton did it.
00:48:44.740 She paid it.
00:48:46.140 Well, that's not true.
00:48:47.440 We don't know who paid it.
00:48:49.960 We don't know whether Hillary Clinton knew.
00:48:52.800 She may have.
00:48:53.800 We certainly know that John Podesta knew.
00:48:56.320 That was the head of the Clinton re-election campaign.
00:48:59.520 It's the same thing.
00:49:00.080 Nixon didn't know that these guys were going into the DNC at Watergate to try to bug it.
00:49:06.480 He didn't know that.
00:49:07.560 That's been established.
00:49:09.000 But then after he found out, he tried to cover up and he lied under oath and he did all these other things.
00:49:14.320 And I think it is rational to have people around the president that will say, just take care of this.
00:49:25.380 He shouldn't know about it.
00:49:26.800 Don't let him know about it.
00:49:28.060 Yeah.
00:49:28.260 So you don't know whether Hillary Clinton did or did not do.
00:49:30.880 But with her prior resume of horror, I call it the resume of horror, Beck.
00:49:37.320 You can use that.
00:49:38.480 Well, hang on just a second.
00:49:40.100 I don't know what horror is.
00:49:41.520 Is that Latin for our or what is it?
00:49:44.280 H-O-R-R-O-R.
00:49:46.120 Yeah, that's horror.
00:49:47.920 Yeah, that's what I said, Beck.
00:49:49.080 What's the matter with you?
00:49:50.340 No, say it again.
00:49:51.200 Are you still thinking about your lower region?
00:49:53.160 No, I'm not.
00:49:54.120 I'm thinking about your...
00:49:55.420 Everybody understood the words that I said, Beck.
00:49:58.060 All right, let's move it along.
00:49:59.320 No.
00:49:59.580 Okay?
00:49:59.920 No.
00:50:00.420 All right.
00:50:01.720 You are so...
00:50:03.620 Why do I do this every Friday?
00:50:05.880 In the aura of our death.
00:50:08.100 Yes.
00:50:08.520 You know why I do this every Friday?
00:50:09.980 Because you have an enormous audience.
00:50:11.920 And now I'm going to get my plug in so I don't have to get in at the end.
00:50:14.420 This is President's Day, President's Weekend.
00:50:17.820 Did everybody know that?
00:50:19.100 Yeah.
00:50:19.640 Honoring Lincoln and Washington.
00:50:21.460 Yeah.
00:50:21.860 All right?
00:50:22.200 Except in San Francisco where they believe they were villains.
00:50:25.700 Okay.
00:50:26.160 So, President's Day Weekend, we have on BillOReilly.com, we're streaming the Trump History Tour.
00:50:34.140 And everybody can see it.
00:50:36.380 And I want you to go there because you're going to see a totally different Donald Trump.
00:50:40.500 A Donald Trump you've never seen before.
00:50:42.260 And these were based on the four shows we did in December.
00:50:44.560 Okay.
00:50:45.140 That's why I do this Friday thing with you, Beck.
00:50:47.120 What's your next question?
00:50:48.440 All right.
00:50:48.900 Good.
00:50:49.300 I'm glad you're transactional.
00:50:51.540 I just thought you liked me.
00:50:53.300 So, that's at BillOReilly.com.
00:50:55.020 It's free to watch it?
00:50:56.780 For premium and concierge members.
00:50:58.660 For others, a nominal fee because we do have production costs.
00:51:02.180 Oh, my gosh.
00:51:03.300 You're just raking in the cash.
00:51:05.360 I am.
00:51:05.700 All right.
00:51:06.200 Okay.
00:51:06.400 So, we have the Durham thing.
00:51:10.580 You want to get to the truckers.
00:51:12.460 I know you love the truckers because...
00:51:14.360 No, I really want to know what you think.
00:51:15.920 The media loves the truckers.
00:51:18.160 Oh, every time I turn it on Fox News or any of the others, the truckers, truckers, truckers.
00:51:23.820 All right.
00:51:24.240 I'm going to break it down.
00:51:25.240 You know I'm a simple man, right?
00:51:26.600 I am the simplest man you have ever known in your life with the exception of Stu.
00:51:30.940 No, I know some people who are special.
00:51:34.620 No, it's impossible.
00:51:35.520 I am so simple.
00:51:37.020 Yeah.
00:51:37.460 I am.
00:51:38.180 My parents should have named me Simon.
00:51:41.320 Ah.
00:51:41.880 Simple Simon.
00:51:42.640 Yes.
00:51:43.140 The Pyman.
00:51:43.760 Okay.
00:51:44.680 So, all I have is one question.
00:51:47.660 Geraldo Rivera.
00:51:49.600 So, Geraldo Rivera is the king of the underdog.
00:51:53.160 All right.
00:51:53.460 His whole career, his 87-year career, has been championing the underdog.
00:52:00.320 That's how he made his reputation, and that's what he always does.
00:52:03.860 This is like Moses calling Methuselah old.
00:52:06.840 I love this.
00:52:07.900 Yes.
00:52:08.320 Okay.
00:52:09.000 Give me a minute.
00:52:10.060 If you want to go out and do a little skateboard exposition, I'll rack up next to you.
00:52:15.800 All right.
00:52:16.120 All right.
00:52:16.700 Okay.
00:52:17.480 All right.
00:52:17.740 So, Geraldo is Mr. Underdog.
00:52:20.540 Okay?
00:52:21.480 Mr. Vietnam Protester, Mr. Everything.
00:52:24.900 Yeah.
00:52:25.120 So, now, when you have a legitimate protest in Canada, all right, it's legitimate.
00:52:31.180 I mean, these truckers, they don't want to be told by the government they can't make a living if you don't do X, Y, and Z as far as COVID is concerned.
00:52:39.660 That is a legitimate protest every country on earth.
00:52:43.360 But Geraldo thinks they're thugs.
00:52:45.920 Because why?
00:52:46.800 Because they drive their trucks into Ottawa to get media attention.
00:52:50.640 That's what you do when you protest.
00:52:53.820 All right?
00:52:54.560 And, yeah, some of them are getting arrested.
00:52:57.120 Some of them should get arrested.
00:52:58.380 If you're blocking the pedestrians from doing whatever or stopping business, that's what happens when you protest.
00:53:05.360 And people accept that.
00:53:06.800 But I'm saying to myself, what is Geraldo's beef?
00:53:10.520 I don't understand the beef.
00:53:13.260 It's a legitimate protest.
00:53:14.380 You might not agree with their point of view, but why are you, you know, personally attacking them?
00:53:20.980 Do you have an answer for that?
00:53:23.140 Yeah, it doesn't fit their agenda.
00:53:24.740 That's the only answer.
00:53:26.600 What is the agenda?
00:53:28.460 The agenda is the mask-wearing, the totalitarian, lean, you know, the Marxist kind of movement that we are going to.
00:53:39.160 Are you all those buying into a progressive vision where you do what we say or we hurt you?
00:53:47.460 No.
00:53:48.400 He's too shallow for that.
00:53:51.080 You don't think he understands the thing?
00:53:52.920 No, I think he does understand it.
00:53:54.660 He's just doing it because, you know, that'll increase his lovability and likability with people on the other side.
00:54:02.920 And, you know, he can keep his job.
00:54:04.320 He might be pandering, but, you know, when I see him and he's doing this stuff, and I know him really well.
00:54:11.820 I'm doing a big benefit for his autism charity that's coming up in March.
00:54:19.800 And I'm going, what is this?
00:54:21.580 I don't understand why you would attack protesters who are legitimately demonstrating their anger at a certain policy.
00:54:32.900 That is what democracy is all about.
00:54:35.560 So how does this affect the average person with the way they have cracked down on the financial?
00:54:42.960 Well, I think Canada, you know, I mean, Canada is a different thing.
00:54:47.580 In America, I don't expect we see any of that.
00:54:50.100 I don't even think you're going to get many of the truckers.
00:54:53.620 They want to do it here.
00:54:54.960 But it's all waning now.
00:54:57.040 You see, the COVID thing is on the skids.
00:55:00.080 And the mandates are flying out the window now.
00:55:03.240 And Americans are a population that responds to the moment.
00:55:08.640 And it looks like the COVID moment is passing.
00:55:11.600 It could come back, sure.
00:55:12.840 But it looks like that all of this, and I'm praying that this is true, goes away.
00:55:19.200 And then if that happens, the protests will as well.
00:55:22.700 What about the people like the Washington Post that has been taking these hacked names and exposing them?
00:55:31.160 And it's not just for the truckers.
00:55:33.300 Didn't they apologize for that?
00:55:35.560 I don't think so.
00:55:37.460 The story came out yesterday.
00:55:38.880 You may be right.
00:55:39.660 I didn't see an apology.
00:55:40.740 Yeah, somebody apologized for putting people's names out that were unvaccinated.
00:55:45.760 Maybe it wasn't a Washington Post.
00:55:47.440 Look, at this point in our country, if people don't understand that the totalitarian left wants to hurt you,
00:55:56.540 if you don't agree with them, then just take a trip out to Hollywood.
00:56:01.820 Because you cannot work in the movie or television industry if you are a conservative.
00:56:08.460 Unless you're one of these guys, you know, like Arnold Schwarzenegger, who's, you know, way up and established.
00:56:14.380 But if you are trying to forge a career in the entertainment industry, and you have any traditional leanings at all,
00:56:20.880 even if you're just pro-life, you cannot work.
00:56:25.300 They will not hire you.
00:56:28.700 And that is the most vivid example of totalitarianism that I can give you.
00:56:33.660 Back in just a second with Bill O'Reilly, let me tell you about CarShield.
00:56:38.420 Between the supply chain issues, we are facing an incredible situation where used cars are going through the roof.
00:56:48.940 With the supply chain coupled with high inflation,
00:56:52.840 you should think, what am I doing to make sure that my car can run?
00:56:59.900 I mean, you know, I've been saying this for about a year.
00:57:02.500 We're entering times where the Cubans, the way they take care of their cars,
00:57:07.180 and they just keep rebuilding them, is coming.
00:57:10.380 If your warranty is out, it's got to be terrifying right now when you see that check engine light.
00:57:17.280 What is it going to cost you if it's a chip?
00:57:19.780 And what is it going to cost you just in rental cars if that chip is backordered?
00:57:26.480 When do you get it?
00:57:27.320 How long do you need a rental car for?
00:57:28.980 You don't worry if you have CarShield.
00:57:31.600 Now, you can design it to have rental cars or whatever.
00:57:34.920 You can design it, but you can pay about $100 a month, and a lot of these fears go away.
00:57:42.300 A covered repair, you don't even have to worry about, you know, paying the place and then being reimbursed.
00:57:49.260 They do it directly.
00:57:51.020 They take care of everything.
00:57:52.900 So, please, get yourself covered and find a plan that is right for you and your family.
00:57:58.160 It's carshield.com slash back.
00:58:00.180 Save 10% now.
00:58:01.440 carshield.com slash back.
00:58:03.540 Deductible may apply.
00:58:04.800 10 seconds.
00:58:05.300 Station ID.
00:58:17.420 So, Bill, I want to talk to you a little bit about Ukraine because that is heating up.
00:58:22.120 And it looks like he may be going in.
00:58:25.540 They're starting to evacuate.
00:58:27.400 The Ukrainians are evacuating two regions.
00:58:30.740 And I don't think that Putin planned on going in.
00:58:34.260 I think we showed him tremendous weakness and kind of egged him on.
00:58:40.340 I've never seen this from our government before, ever.
00:58:43.680 Have you?
00:58:44.860 Well, I disagree with you a little bit.
00:58:47.600 I think you had to define what the punishment was going to be if Vladimir Putin invaded a sovereign nation.
00:58:54.760 And Biden did that.
00:58:57.080 You know, it's funny because I asked Trump about this in the tour that you can see on BillOReally.com this weekend.
00:59:03.600 And I said, look, you know, you didn't have any trouble with Putin for four years.
00:59:07.540 I mean, yeah, he hacked and those people were doing that.
00:59:10.800 But on the big issues, you know, he and you that you weren't at odds.
00:59:15.700 And he basically said we made a deal, a personal deal.
00:59:19.200 You don't embarrass me and I won't embarrass you.
00:59:21.260 And he held it.
00:59:21.880 And that's why Trump always said fairly good things about Putin, who is just the worst, by the way.
00:59:28.740 Oh, my God, is he horrible.
00:59:31.100 But now you have a befuddled president, Biden, not knowing what Putin is going to do.
00:59:38.140 And Putin loves this because Putin is looking like the guy driving the train.
00:59:42.720 Right.
00:59:43.260 And Biden is just a passenger in steerage.
00:59:46.700 Right.
00:59:47.180 Right.
00:59:47.660 It's all Putin.
00:59:48.460 Now, I still don't think Putin is going to do it because his oligarch gangster friends in Moscow will not be able to travel anywhere on the planet because they're going to be on no fly list everywhere.
01:00:02.360 OK, and Putin's own money is going to be impacted because Russians aren't going to be able to do business with dollars.
01:00:11.620 So, yeah.
01:00:12.520 OK, if you want yen.
01:00:14.740 Yeah, well, the only the only opposite, because I agree with you, the the economy of Russia, the stock market in Russia is already.
01:00:23.100 Yeah, it's havoc.
01:00:24.120 However, what was it?
01:00:26.780 I think a Bank of America came out and said oil prices will probably hit one hundred and fifty barrel.
01:00:33.480 Absolutely.
01:00:34.160 And that helps him.
01:00:35.760 That helps.
01:00:36.440 Well, not if he invades Ukraine.
01:00:38.620 But if he doesn't, if he pulls back and says, oh, I don't want to bring war to and we we've got our point across, whatever they do.
01:00:48.180 All right.
01:00:48.700 You're right.
01:00:49.600 They're charging more for oil right now and they're getting dollars right now.
01:00:53.240 But those dollars are going to stop the moment he walks in.
01:00:56.420 And he's going to have a guerrilla war, just like the Soviets had in Afghanistan.
01:01:00.880 Every day there's going to be a hundred hand grenades thrown at any Russians that are in there.
01:01:05.540 And that is what he wants.
01:01:06.900 That's really those two things are what knocked out the Soviet Union.
01:01:10.520 Afghanistan wouldn't want a replay of a collapsing economy and dead Russians coming back every day.
01:01:16.780 So I don't think so.
01:01:18.120 So that's why I say I don't think it's going in.
01:01:20.960 Beck, I want to congratulate you on your book, The Great Reset.
01:01:24.620 All right.
01:01:24.920 Thank you.
01:01:25.840 I'm actually reading it.
01:01:26.760 Are you?
01:01:27.180 And I did.
01:01:27.820 I did send you my new book out May 3rd, Killing the Killers.
01:01:32.000 I just got it this morning.
01:01:33.240 Don't tell me you didn't get it.
01:01:34.260 No, I got it this morning.
01:01:35.400 My assistant, I had my assistant call your minions, all right?
01:01:40.320 And, you know, I said, walk it into him, put it in his hand.
01:01:46.080 Because you remember on Killing the Mob, I sent you 18 copies and none of them ever got to you.
01:01:51.000 Well, I know.
01:01:51.640 It was so difficult.
01:01:54.080 But we found them eventually and they've made great kindling.
01:01:58.660 The Killing the Killers comes out when?
01:02:02.220 In May?
01:02:02.560 May 3rd, it is the best reporting I have ever done.
01:02:06.120 Killing the Killers, a secret war against terrorists.
01:02:09.660 I'm going to give you another book.
01:02:11.480 I'm going to give you another book to work on.
01:02:13.560 Okay.
01:02:13.940 I don't know what you call it, you know, but the killing of the truth or whatever, the killing and all of the murders that Putin has overseen.
01:02:24.660 I'd love to read a book on how deadly this guy really is.
01:02:29.680 It would be like 18,000 pages.
01:02:31.800 Yeah, I know, I know, I know.
01:02:33.300 Thank you, Bill.
01:02:33.880 From BillOReilly.com.
01:02:35.480 BillOReilly.com.
01:02:36.640 Go to his website this weekend and see the Donald Trump tour like you've never seen before.
01:02:44.040 The history of the president.
01:02:45.600 So, guess who's getting a new dog?
01:02:53.640 Oh, it's done?
01:02:54.780 Not done yet, but oh, it's soon.
01:02:58.280 It's done soon.
01:02:59.440 I went back home yesterday to watch 35,000 consecutive TikTok videos about the dog that we're apparently going to get.
01:03:06.380 Yeah.
01:03:06.820 Yeah.
01:03:07.240 My wife said, not another dog.
01:03:08.680 We're not having another dog.
01:03:09.620 No, no.
01:03:09.640 No more.
01:03:10.020 I am tired of having dogs.
01:03:12.040 I'm not going to have another dog.
01:03:13.100 And now all I'm seeing are pictures of new dogs.
01:03:15.860 Anyway, so.
01:03:17.240 Unreal.
01:03:17.540 Well, to whoever this new dog is, know that you are coming to a home that will love you and feed you and put supplements on your food that you will find delicious.
01:03:29.040 It is Rough Greens.
01:03:31.120 Rough Greens.
01:03:32.240 I've been feeding Uno now for I don't even know how long.
01:03:35.500 Is it like a time collapse where you just can't tell?
01:03:38.440 Like the last two years are kind of like one or five.
01:03:42.060 You don't really know.
01:03:43.500 Is it just me?
01:03:45.260 Get Rough Greens.
01:03:46.400 I've been feeding it to Uno for a long time now and he loves it and I've seen a difference.
01:03:51.020 You will with your dog as well.
01:03:52.500 You get a free little bag of Rough Greens just for your dog to try out.
01:03:56.140 Make sure they like to eat it.
01:03:57.480 It's free.
01:03:58.580 All you pay for is shipping, but do it and see the difference in your dog.

01:04:07.440 Ten bucks off your subscription to Blaze TV.
01:04:23.680 Welcome to the Glenn Beck program.
01:04:27.800 It is Friday.
01:04:29.040 Oh, sometimes our conversations that we can't share on the air are so much, so much better.
01:04:35.560 We have a piece of history.
01:04:37.720 We're going to talk about Russia here in just a second coming up at the top of the hour.
01:04:41.600 And I have a piece of history that we have not shown yet.
01:04:44.120 And honestly, my first reaction was, how did we get this?
01:04:49.660 And when I showed it to Stu a few minutes ago, your reaction was, how did we get this?
01:04:57.540 How is this in our possession?
01:04:59.300 Yeah, I know.
01:04:59.780 It's crazy.
01:05:01.120 It is crazy.
01:05:03.020 If you have people watching auctions all around the world, what you can find, this one will blow your mind.
01:05:08.340 And it relates to what's happening today.
01:05:11.880 All right.
01:05:12.540 Let me go to Michael Malice.
01:05:13.700 He is the author of The Anarchist Handbook.
01:05:15.820 The host of You're Welcome.
01:05:19.000 And you can find him at his website, michaelmalice.com, or follow him at michaelmalice.
01:05:25.920 All right.
01:05:26.940 Welcome, Michael.
01:05:27.640 How are you, sir?
01:05:28.860 Well, as I'm sitting here looking directly at William Lloyd Garrison's autograph, I feel like I want a hint as to what this is that you acquired.
01:05:38.160 Well, this has been in our library for a while.
01:05:40.880 We bought it in the last year.
01:05:42.640 Let me just read to you what is on the cover of this.
01:05:49.440 Okay.
01:05:49.820 This is a secret item within the meaning of Section 88 Reich Criminal Code.
01:05:58.340 Misuse will be punished according to the provisions of this law unless other state provisions come into question.
01:06:05.460 It was completed in 1939.
01:06:08.880 1989, you're going to be blown away, blown away.
01:06:13.220 Yeah.
01:06:13.880 Okay.
01:06:14.720 So let's let's talk about dictators, shall we?
01:06:17.920 Let's go to Justin Trudeau.
01:06:22.440 You ran a poll on Twitter.
01:06:25.900 Do you think Justin Trudeau would feel comfortable using deadly force against his opponents if he knew he could get away with it?
01:06:31.200 Your audience and the people who follow you said 96.5% yes.
01:06:37.540 I was surprised that it was that low because I think that's true.
01:06:42.800 I think these people are so dedicated to what they believe and they believe the other side is so evil that they will, if they could get away with it, just eliminate them.
01:06:53.700 Well, I mean, the way to back that up is this.
01:06:57.660 We both we all saw yesterday, and I don't know if your audience is familiar with this.
01:07:02.120 They said that they're coming after the truckers pets.
01:07:06.520 It's crazy.
01:07:08.280 A prominent Canadian politician.
01:07:10.120 I think his last name is Blair was saying we're working with the Children's Aid Society to make sure that kids are going to be.
01:07:16.140 And also the kids.
01:07:17.500 They said they're working with the Children's Aid Society to make sure that kids involved in this are taken care of.
01:07:22.480 So they're threatening the trucker's pets and they're threatening the trucker's kids.
01:07:27.280 And someone else pointed out very cleverly that the reason I think they're doing this isn't just to threaten them,
01:07:33.180 but that if they're going to go in with, like, tear gas, so that they're not tear gassing the pets and the kids.
01:07:38.680 Well, they say they are taking the pets away for protective care for eight days and after eight at your cost.
01:07:45.120 And after eight days, if you haven't made arrangements, your animal will be considered relinquished.
01:07:50.380 Uh-huh.
01:07:51.660 And the kids, if they take those kids away in Canada, you may never get your kid back.
01:07:57.800 Oh, yeah.
01:08:27.800 People are understanding the nature of who they're up against.
01:08:32.740 Yeah, that these people are not messing around.
01:08:35.180 They do not value your life or human life.
01:08:37.900 They do not value your property.
01:08:39.760 I mean, Minergis, you know, people from the Constitution argue you need a small government to protect private property,
01:08:45.880 and that's about it.
01:08:46.960 But we see that they're seizing all these bank accounts without due process.
01:08:51.740 Yeah, but that's not a small government.
01:08:53.400 That is an enormous government.
01:08:55.320 You need a government that is afraid of its people.
01:09:00.000 If the people are afraid of the government, there's tyranny.
01:09:03.060 If the government fears the people, there's freedom.
01:09:06.800 We've got such an enormous government, and Canada even more so, that they can do anything.
01:09:11.820 I mean, look, once they can close down your bank accounts, and this government can with the Fed,
01:09:18.180 once they close down your bank accounts, once they can take away from you everything that you own,
01:09:27.160 they completely control you.
01:09:29.300 And I don't think that that is really fully registered with Canadians or Americans yet.
01:09:35.160 You are under the thumb of any tinpot dictator that comes your way.
01:09:40.280 Any government big enough to protect your property is also big enough to take it away.
01:09:45.780 That's the anarchist perspective.
01:09:47.600 And Glenn, you and I are both students of history, so I'll just bring up the Whiskey Rebellion.
01:09:51.600 So even when the government was as small as the Constitution, it's a very similar thing.
01:09:55.300 Alexander Hamilton came in on horseback and took on those farmers who were protesting attacks on whiskey,
01:10:01.220 which was at the time the portable form of currency.
01:10:03.380 But let's bring it back to present day, because this is obviously very different from the founding concept.
01:10:07.560 And I just have to get in.
01:10:09.400 Alexander Hamilton was great in a lot of ways, and he was also really, really bad.
01:10:15.100 He also wanted the first national bank.
01:10:16.520 So go ahead.
01:10:17.720 And I'm looking at a piece of his hair, so I have my own collectibles, just as much as you do right now.
01:10:22.440 Oh, really? You have a piece of his hair?
01:10:24.280 I have.
01:10:24.880 You ready for this?
01:10:25.700 There we go.
01:10:26.060 I have.
01:10:26.620 There we go.
01:10:27.240 Here we go.
01:10:27.840 I have, clipped from the head of George Washington, a lock of Washington's hair, cut by Martha Washington,
01:10:35.700 given to Alexander Hamilton, whose daughter then braided it.
01:10:39.680 It's the largest piece of his hair that we know of in existence, braided, and then he made it into a ring for his daughter.
01:10:48.340 Top of hat.
01:10:48.620 Well, I have a bunch of leeches that are going to bleed Glenn back together.
01:10:53.940 All right.
01:10:58.080 I'm glad we could find some levity in all seriousness, because this is a very disturbing situation, and it's also brinksmanship.
01:11:04.780 Because one of the things that the COVID regime promised the populations was that you give us control, and we will keep you safe.
01:11:12.720 We will handle everything, and you won't have to worry about it.
01:11:15.560 And now that they're seeing in the news that these truckers are making fools of them, and they're doing everything in their power to try to provoke violence.
01:11:24.020 And God bless these men and women for not taking the bait when their fire was taken and when their gas is taken.
01:11:29.800 But where this ends, this is dangerous, and in some ways previously uncharted territory.
01:11:35.180 Did you see that they didn't seat Parliament today?
01:11:39.040 No.
01:11:39.620 Oh, wow.
01:11:40.200 Oh, yeah.
01:11:40.820 Wait, wait.
01:11:41.220 I've got to read this to you.
01:11:42.220 This will blow your mind.
01:11:43.220 Gosh, where did I have it?
01:11:46.840 I'll just have to do it from my memory, because I don't remember where it is.
01:11:49.480 But the Parliament, because of their Capitol Police, they said it's too dangerous, and an operation is planned for today, Friday, and they're not going to seat Parliament.
01:12:06.400 They recommend that you do not go to the Capitol.
01:12:08.880 Then they said, don't go to the Capitol's zone at all.
01:12:14.100 If you are anywhere in the area, stay away from that because of danger.
01:12:20.140 And if you're already in, make sure you're inside of a building and stay in until the police say you can come out.
01:12:28.900 That's pretty remarkable.
01:12:32.160 Also, earlier this week, Trudeau was telling the members of Parliament that they're standing with those who wave swastikas.
01:12:39.220 And there's a woman who's a member of the Conservative Party who is a Jewish lesbian, and she was tweeting out and got on the floor.
01:12:45.180 She's saying, you're going to call me a Nazi, like of all people?
01:12:48.280 Also, there's a complete shamelessness.
01:12:50.280 There's another shameless element in this, which is governments create emergencies, then give themselves emergency powers in order to stop these emergencies.
01:12:59.240 So the premise that governments will somehow restrict their own abilities is nonsensical.
01:13:04.520 Well, this Emergency Powers Act that Trudeau brought up wasn't even brought up after 9-11.
01:13:09.400 It's completely brazen and shameless, but not surprising, because why would any government interested in seeking to increase its own power accept restrictions that are just legal pieces of paper?
01:13:21.520 How do you think this ends, Michael?
01:13:23.500 I think this is part of a long trend of these truckers are not ideologues.
01:13:31.600 They're not like Trump fans, like January 6th.
01:13:34.640 Yeah, I think we're going to see increasing escalation as people disregard the legitimacy of the state when they see things that are just so nonsensical.
01:13:43.100 And it's going to be people in different countries we never saw coming.
01:13:46.280 And this is why I'm kind of hopeful.
01:13:47.700 But as for the truckers themselves, I'm very, very concerned.
01:13:50.500 I'm really concerned, and I'm really glad the Americans are getting involved and are helping them, and those assets can't be seized.
01:13:57.420 That's very, very key.
01:13:59.680 I don't know how long our banks don't do this.
01:14:03.520 I'm concerned about the U.S. trucker thing, because I mean, I absolutely, and I would never have said this five or six years ago.
01:14:13.820 I absolutely believe the FBI is inside, and they are doing all they can to orchestrate problems.
01:14:23.340 As you say, the government creates problems that they can solve.
01:14:26.720 I think they've gone the extra step.
01:14:28.240 And I pray for anyone that is involved in these things.
01:14:35.080 You better pray for spiritual insight on who's around you.
01:14:39.960 Purge anyone from your group that you think is suspicious or dangerous or anything else.
01:14:47.900 Be very careful.
01:14:49.880 A single spark will blow this whole thing up.
01:14:54.180 Do you agree with that?
01:14:55.000 I could not possibly agree more.
01:14:58.160 I will just add one point.
01:14:59.640 I think it's a very useful thing when the mask drops, because the other side effects is if our bank's going on this, God help us, that's going to, A, encourage a lot of people to use cryptocurrency more frequently, instead of depending on the U.S. dollar, which is going to collapse, or at least it's collapsing right now thanks to inflation.
01:15:19.280 And two, people who are in the middle, who don't have a political perspective, when they see things like this, when money's being seized from your bank without any kind of due process, they're going to start distrusting the system more.
01:15:32.200 And that's a healthy thing, because the system cannot be trusted.
01:15:34.420 You're concerned about your freedom of speech, Michael.
01:15:38.320 I mean, that incredible DHS warning that came out last week that said, you know, anybody who's a purveyor of mis, dis, or malinformation is a threat, a terrorist threat to the country.
01:15:55.360 That's a clear shot on any of us who say, this, what's going on, is different than what they're telling you.
01:16:04.040 Well, I am a threat to this government.
01:16:06.360 I'll take the compliment.
01:16:07.700 I mean, I think this regime is evil and demonic, and even under a Republican presidency, the thing that the federal government does to its citizenry, we have the largest prison population per capita on Earth, things like that.
01:16:20.700 But it's just the fact that you couldn't leave your house, even though the First Amendment guarantees you the right to peaceful assembly.
01:16:27.660 These are all brazen violations of the Constitution, and no one even bothered to question the lockdowns from that perspective.
01:16:33.980 So I am very concerned, but I'm also, I think, as things will have to fall apart, they're going to have to show their hand because these people aren't going down without a fight.
01:16:44.980 And that's what I think is happening.
01:16:46.460 I don't think Biden is a symbol of an empire at its height.
01:16:49.380 I think Biden is a symbol of an empire on its last legs.
01:16:52.420 Wow.
01:16:53.220 Okay, Michael.
01:16:54.640 Always good to talk to you.
01:16:55.720 Thank you so much.
01:16:56.600 You know, I like this last hour.
01:16:58.140 That's a great point.
01:16:58.800 I mean, Biden is not the sign of an empire at its height.
01:17:02.020 That could be his campaign slogan, I think.
01:17:05.960 Yeah.
01:17:06.280 I like Michael because he balances Bill O'Reilly so well.
01:17:10.180 You know what I mean?
01:17:11.940 Michael Malice, the author of The Anarchist Handbook and the host of You're Welcome.
01:17:16.420 I like him.
01:17:16.840 He's not only funny, he is also very, very well thought out.
01:17:20.640 And I like people that I don't necessarily agree with all the time because they make me think differently.
01:17:27.940 And that is important.
01:17:29.580 That's why freedom of speech is so important.
01:17:32.880 Back in just a minute.
01:17:34.940 All right.
01:17:35.840 Look at me.
01:17:36.980 Do I look like a guy that likes healthy things?
01:17:40.440 No.
01:17:40.800 No.
01:17:41.360 Clear.
01:17:42.100 No, not at all.
01:17:43.260 I didn't even.
01:17:44.280 Not even a little bit.
01:17:45.360 Wow.
01:17:45.880 Yeah.
01:17:46.200 Okay.
01:17:46.960 I grew up in a bakery and I am used to, my dad used to have behind him on the bench at the bakery,
01:17:54.880 always a pot of butter melted, just kind of always melted and a pot of chocolate always melted.
01:18:02.820 And it wasn't for the stuff he was making.
01:18:05.600 It was so we could just go, I'm hungry, grab a roll, dip it into the butter, eat it.
01:18:11.660 I want a sweet tooth, just take whatever, dip it in chocolate and eat it.
01:18:16.640 I mean, that's how I grew up.
01:18:18.740 My sweet tooth is enormous.
01:18:21.420 And lately, so am I.
01:18:23.040 Built.com.
01:18:25.400 I've never liked things that aren't real, that are, you know, chemically, you know, just
01:18:31.640 they taste like chemicals and or sawdust.
01:18:34.960 So I don't like healthy stuff at all.
01:18:37.900 Built.com is the answer for people like me.
01:18:41.200 I can't believe how good these are and they're good for you.
01:18:44.500 And they have like 120 calories in them.
01:18:48.420 They have four net carbs, tons and tons of protein.
01:18:53.100 They're protein bars, but I like to think of them as candy bars.
01:18:56.440 I like to think of them as something my dad would have made.
01:18:59.500 Built.com.
01:19:00.580 Try them out.
01:19:01.240 They're delicious.

01:19:10.900 This is the Glenn Beck program.
01:19:33.180 I have to tell you, I have a podcast today that I've wanted to do for a while.
01:19:38.200 I'm a total futurist geek.
01:19:40.900 And I don't understand the the metaverse.
01:19:44.240 I don't understand why you would buy property in a digital realm.
01:19:50.440 That's stupid.
01:19:52.460 I'm buying real estate in a place that doesn't exist.
01:19:56.380 No, I don't think so.
01:19:57.640 It does sound ridiculous.
01:19:59.380 It does.
01:19:59.800 It does.
01:20:00.140 But everything does today.
01:20:01.800 Digital homes.
01:20:03.280 Who's going to govern all of this?
01:20:05.320 How do you protect rights?
01:20:07.280 Do we need VR goggles?
01:20:08.860 What does that mean?
01:20:09.780 The neural link where we're going to connect to the I mean, it's it's thrilling and terrifying
01:20:18.280 at the same time.
01:20:20.100 And I have Matthew Ball.
01:20:22.760 He's the co-founder of Ball Metaverse Research Partners.
01:20:26.160 Prolific essayist.
01:20:27.240 He he is a guy who has focused all of his energy on technology, gaming, crypto, the future of our world.
01:20:34.160 And he sees both sides like I do.
01:20:36.960 This could be really fantastic or it could destroy humanity.
01:20:43.380 And he and I both think we should be asking some deeper philosophical questions here before we just do things.
01:20:51.300 But you don't want to miss it if you're interested at all in the future in technology.
01:20:55.660 Tomorrow, this podcast comes out wherever you get your podcast.
01:21:00.200 It came out last night for Blaze subscribers at Blaze TV.
01:21:03.880 It is episode 134.
01:21:06.600 Our terrifying future in the metaverse.
01:21:09.180 I didn't write that headline.
01:21:10.460 That makes it sound scary.
01:21:12.080 Well, it is.
01:21:12.640 It'll scare the living hell out of you.
01:21:14.760 But but he also thinks that some of the things I'm worried about are farther down the horizon.
01:21:20.440 And I'll be dead by then.
01:21:21.700 So you are.
01:21:23.260 You probably will be, too.
01:21:24.280 I mean, we're all going to a camp, you know.
01:21:27.440 So, I mean, that's probably happening next.
01:21:31.300 Oh, boy.
01:21:32.020 This is the Glenn Beck program.
01:21:50.440 What you are about to hear
01:22:19.940 is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
01:22:23.660 This is the Glenn Beck program.
01:22:29.200 Hello, America.
01:22:30.300 Just got some good news from the Fed.
01:22:32.260 They say that they're going to make an appropriate raise in the interest rates
01:22:37.220 and that unemployment by the end of the year will be at three and a half percent
01:22:42.320 and inflation will be back down to three percent by the end of this year.
01:22:46.780 So that's some good news for anybody who believes the Fed.
01:22:51.900 They are.
01:22:52.620 I mean, we are all celebrating because that's good news.
01:22:57.540 We would like to take a quick peek into Russia and Ukraine.
01:23:03.880 There's been some disturbing things that have happened today.
01:23:06.760 I still am not convinced that this is going to happen.
01:23:11.420 And I hope to God it doesn't.
01:23:14.240 But it's been bizarre.
01:23:16.320 They're doing some moves now.
01:23:17.900 Russians and the Ukrainians are moving in ways that say,
01:23:21.800 yeah, it looks like it may come as early as this weekend.
01:23:24.680 And we'll talk to our foreign affairs expert in just a second.
01:23:35.240 Once in a while, someone comes along and puts a new face on an old thing.
01:23:39.480 Would you love that to be?
01:23:42.700 I guess you can through plastic surgery, but then it just gets really bad.
01:23:45.960 Anyway, up until now, you've probably just gone along with whatever mobile service was available,
01:23:52.080 whatever mobile company was offering you the best deal.
01:23:55.560 And over time, you probably realize that's really not the best deal.
01:23:59.240 I mean, I could save a lot of money, but who's offering it?
01:24:02.460 Well, if you are willing to look outside of the box to a company that does not work in cross purposes to you and your values.
01:24:10.820 In fact, a company that volunteers its time and puts a lot of their money on the line to fight for the Constitution.
01:24:19.400 And all of the things that we believe in, you switch to Patriot Mobile.
01:24:24.140 That's the company you should be.
01:24:25.320 And a lot of people save half, half of their bill when they switch to Patriot Mobile.
01:24:32.180 You're going to save a lot of money.
01:24:33.380 You're going to get great service.
01:24:34.620 They're on the same cell towers and a company that believes in you.
01:24:37.800 So, Jason, I have something that will boggle your mind from history because it has boggled mine.
01:24:58.980 I knew what it was, and then I started reading the translations on it, and I cannot believe it's sitting in my room, my studio here.
01:25:07.800 And I brought it because I think it reflects a little bit of what might be happening today because we don't really know what anybody's intentions are.
01:25:17.940 Bring me up to speed on what's just happened in the last 24 hours with Ukraine and Russia.
01:25:23.600 It is an eerie, eerie scene going on right now in eastern Ukraine.
01:25:26.780 So, the two separatist regions, the two breakaways regions in Ukraine, eastern Ukraine, they have both ordered their citizens to evacuate.
01:25:34.920 And not just to evacuate, they're evacuating into Russia.
01:25:38.260 So, right now, as we speak, the sirens are going off, the air raid sirens.
01:25:42.400 I've seen photos of people lined up at banks and ATMs trying to get all their money out before they jump on the evacuation buses.
01:25:49.100 So, this is Ukraine, the Ukrainian people, the Russian Ukrainians, are going to Russia?
01:25:56.620 Yes.
01:25:57.340 And what happens to the Ukrainian Ukrainians?
01:25:59.780 Well, everyone that lives there, most people are the Russian-speaking Ukrainians.
01:26:04.140 So, these are all being emptied out.
01:26:05.940 And who is saying that you should do that?
01:26:09.420 Russia?
01:26:10.460 Well, I'm sure Russia gave the little message, but there's the actual statements from the leaders of those separatist regions.
01:26:18.340 They have made televised addresses.
01:26:20.760 So, right now, and you can see this, this is all online.
01:26:23.260 They're sending out text messages to all their citizens, and they're coordinating the evacuation based off the license plate numbers of their cars.
01:26:30.540 So, this is, it's organized, and it is happening.
01:26:33.500 It's just very, very odd because this is just so telegraphed.
01:26:36.640 And I think that's why it's been, I've been so conflicted on it.
01:26:39.820 Russia waited an insane amount of time to let Ukraine get ready for this invasion.
01:26:45.580 And not only that, but to build allies.
01:26:47.700 So, yesterday, I'm not sure if you mentioned that story, you did mention it, that now the UK and Poland have entered into a formal alliance with Ukraine.
01:26:56.280 That is the worst case scenario that I saw for this.
01:26:58.680 Because if you start getting NATO members pulled into this in an alliance, that's bad news.
01:27:04.060 Well, but this is a new alliance because NATO says it's not going to get roped in unless one of their countries.
01:27:10.280 But, I mean, a missile could be lobbed accidentally, and then NATO is involved.
01:27:16.640 Right.
01:27:16.940 So, if something happens, if Russia retaliates, they'll say, to Poland, well, then they've threatened their national defense.
01:27:23.140 And I think NATO would end up having to respond in that case.
01:27:26.520 So, there's just so many different ways that this can just go sideways.
01:27:29.160 But I'm with you.
01:27:31.940 I'm not convinced that what the Biden administration says is going to happen will happen.
01:27:35.360 I never thought.
01:27:36.620 Think of this.
01:27:37.260 I said this yesterday as I'm driving home from work and I'm listening to the news.
01:27:41.600 And friends in the car with me and I said,
01:27:44.060 did you ever think, ever think, that there would be a time that you weren't sure if you believed our president over Putin?
01:27:56.720 Is there ever a time that you wondered if the Russians were telling the truth and we were lying?
01:28:02.300 I've never in my life been at a place to where I don't know.
01:28:07.460 I don't trust us.
01:28:08.520 I don't trust us.
01:28:09.620 I don't trust our news.
01:28:10.940 I don't trust the White House.
01:28:12.660 I have no idea what to believe in this situation.
01:28:16.880 Do you?
01:28:18.400 I mean, I hadn't thought about it that way, but it's true.
01:28:23.520 I don't know.
01:28:24.040 It's even partially because they're kind of stating that they're negotiating here, right?
01:28:28.960 Like, they're stating that, like, we are saying these things to stop Russia from doing them.
01:28:33.760 So I can't even tell if we believe the things we're saying at this point.
01:28:38.200 The way that they negotiated.
01:28:40.320 So they said that they're negotiating and pursuing all diplomatic, you know, efforts to make this stop.
01:28:45.000 Doesn't even hold water to me.
01:28:46.860 Because the one thing Putin asked for, right, was, hey, just tell us that, and I'm kind of minimizing this,
01:28:52.940 but just tell us that NATO is not going to accept Ukraine, right?
01:28:57.140 Well, there was never any talks about that.
01:28:59.320 It's never been on the table.
01:28:59.760 Never been on the table.
01:29:00.780 Ever.
01:29:01.140 But if you're the Biden administration, that seems like an easy win for you.
01:29:04.680 Because it doesn't hurt you.
01:29:06.100 It doesn't change the way things were going.
01:29:07.980 So just say it.
01:29:09.020 Fine.
01:29:09.320 Give him that.
01:29:10.460 But because of his political situation at home, he can't be seen as an appeaser to Russia.
01:29:14.760 Because that's the way Russia would spin it.
01:29:16.960 And that's, I'm sure, a lot of other people would spin it that way.
01:29:19.260 But it's a diplomatic win.
01:29:20.820 We're like, fine.
01:29:21.420 Here.
01:29:21.860 Whatever.
01:29:22.380 We're not going to admit them into NATO.
01:29:24.040 But that was never on the table for them.
01:29:26.380 Why can't you just say that?
01:29:28.120 It makes no sense to me.
01:29:29.060 Because they're not going to do it anyway, right?
01:29:30.120 I mean, it's not, Ukraine is not getting this anyway, at least for a long time.
01:29:33.980 And nobody was even talking about it.
01:29:35.800 Never.
01:29:36.080 They could reverse themselves after Putin is dead, which is probably, you know, the earliest
01:29:40.260 it would happen anyway.
01:29:42.100 But again, you also, as the United States and as NATO, don't want it to be seen as backing
01:29:46.100 down to the demands of a tyrant.
01:29:47.780 And so, I mean, they're all, I can understand why they like you.
01:29:51.960 They want Ukraine to be part of this, I think.
01:29:53.560 They'd like that to be an outcome eventually.
01:29:56.240 You know, what really irritates and pisses me off about old alliances.
01:30:00.060 And this is what, you know, this goes back to World War I, you know, like old alliances
01:30:04.080 getting people into trouble and pulling into greater conflicts.
01:30:07.880 I'm not a fan of NATO at the moment.
01:30:09.520 I don't see the point of NATO at the moment.
01:30:10.880 Here's the thing, these old alliances, World War I alliances, that's what created World
01:30:19.020 War II.
01:30:20.180 If you just fight to win and then go home, you can help people rebuild.
01:30:28.100 I mean, America is the only one that does that.
01:30:30.400 You can help people rebuild.
01:30:31.640 But get out.
01:30:34.320 Right.
01:30:34.560 Get out.
01:30:35.860 And you can change the world and our tendency to go to war by just minding your own business
01:30:46.720 and getting out.
01:30:48.380 Now, a lot of people will say, you can't do that.
01:30:50.540 Yeah, you really can.
01:30:52.180 It's going to take us 100 years to get back out of it.
01:30:55.120 Of course, it could happen quickly because of a collapse, but I can guarantee you if
01:30:59.800 there's a collapse, they're going to try to do this in a global sense.
01:31:04.960 They'll try to cobble all of us together and it will be Russia, China and their allies against
01:31:11.380 the West.
01:31:12.660 And it's only going to cause more trouble.
01:31:16.660 Yeah.
01:31:16.900 I mean, you think about it.
01:31:18.280 NATO today is one of the only alliances that the purpose for why it exists doesn't exist anymore.
01:31:24.720 Yeah.
01:31:25.220 It doesn't exist anymore.
01:31:26.080 It was to stop the Soviet Union.
01:31:26.940 Exactly.
01:31:27.640 I mean, that was done.
01:31:29.280 And as to your point, they should have walked away at that point because then they all,
01:31:33.460 everyone that was in NATO had a reason to, well, they had common interests, right?
01:31:36.460 They were going to stop the Soviet Union from advancing global communism all over the world.
01:31:40.440 Congratulations.
01:31:41.240 Good job.
01:31:41.940 You did your job.
01:31:43.220 But now take a look at Germany.
01:31:44.820 Germany is like, they're one of the strongest members of NATO.
01:31:48.520 They're also one of the only ones that are not sending weapons to Ukraine.
01:31:52.100 Yeah.
01:31:52.380 They won't do it.
01:31:52.960 They are in favor of Russia because they are beholden to Russia now.
01:31:57.300 Money, money, money.
01:31:58.020 Yeah.
01:31:58.140 On that pipeline.
01:31:58.800 Yeah.
01:31:59.060 And can we point out that Ukraine held one third of the nuclear weapons of the Soviet
01:32:03.980 Union at one point and they gave them all back?
01:32:06.860 Third largest stockpile.
01:32:07.600 Thanks to Bill Clinton, who is a big advocate of, hey, just hand them all back.
01:32:13.120 Don't have a nuclear deterrent to Russia.
01:32:15.900 Why would you ever need that?
01:32:17.300 Well, now we know this wouldn't be going on if they hadn't done this back in the day, encouraged
01:32:23.540 by the democratic establishment in this country.
01:32:27.600 Ukraine gave all of these nuclear weapons it had back to Russia.
01:32:32.400 They got rid of them.
01:32:34.660 So let me just I want to remind you about history, that history is always confusing and
01:32:41.660 you never know what somebody is really doing.
01:32:45.080 I'm going to blow your mind with a piece of history that we just got a few months ago at
01:32:49.960 the Mercury One Museum.
01:32:51.380 It is incredible and it goes to what's happening right now.
01:32:55.860 We do that in just a second.
01:32:57.560 I don't know if you have seen, but gold is up.
01:33:02.000 It is almost $2,000 an ounce with everything they're doing to suppress gold.
01:33:08.220 It is shocking that it is this high.
01:33:11.260 They are now saying $3,000 an ounce because of inflation.
01:33:15.180 I don't know.
01:33:17.540 I really it's anybody's guess.
01:33:21.420 We are in uncharted territory.
01:33:23.740 We have no idea what's coming.
01:33:26.160 I will just tell you that I collect gold coins.
01:33:30.340 I collect old historic gold coins.
01:33:33.680 I buy historic gold coins for a reason.
01:33:37.700 And you can call Goldline to find out why I do that.
01:33:41.700 By the way, in a completely unrelated story, did you see that Turkey has just told their
01:33:48.400 citizens, I'm sorry, asked their citizens to turn in all their gold?
01:33:53.320 They just asked them just yesterday.
01:33:55.080 That's very nice.
01:33:55.560 Hey, sometimes you have to turn it in.
01:33:56.920 We'll give you cash for it.
01:33:57.920 It's a request.
01:33:58.320 Yeah.
01:33:58.600 Okay.
01:33:59.040 So anyway, I was telling you, I collect antique gold coins and silver coins.
01:34:05.640 And you might want to think about that, too.
01:34:08.300 You know who has some of these historic coins is Goldline, $5 gold Indians and Liberty coins.
01:34:15.080 Find out if maybe you can buy them right now and qualify for the free gold and silver when
01:34:21.280 you acquire these historic items.
01:34:24.040 866-GOLDLINE, 866-GOLDLINE or goldline.com.
01:34:27.860 I would recommend that you at least start the research today.
01:34:31.660 866-GOLDLINE.
01:34:34.320 10 seconds.
01:34:34.940 Station ID.
01:34:38.300 All right.
01:34:49.100 When everybody in the world was saying they're not going to go into Poland, the Germans, they're
01:34:55.260 not going to go into Poland.
01:34:58.080 And everybody's working on peace deals.
01:35:00.300 In a speech given to the commanders of the German army, August 22nd, which was a few
01:35:08.180 days before the planned attack, the original planned attack for Hitler, he said, our strength
01:35:15.780 can consist in our speed and in our brutality.
01:35:19.980 Genghis Khan led millions of women and children to slaughter with a premeditation and a happy
01:35:26.260 heart.
01:35:27.280 History sees him solely as a founder of a state.
01:35:30.440 It's a matter of indifference to me.
01:35:32.140 What a weak Western Europe civilization will say about me.
01:35:35.600 I have issued a command and I'll have anyone who utters but one word of criticism executed
01:35:41.380 by a firing squad.
01:35:43.300 Our aim in war does not consist in reaching a certain line, but in the physical destruction
01:35:48.680 of the enemy accordingly, I have placed my death head formation, special SS units in the readiness
01:35:55.860 for the present only in the East with orders for them to send to death mercilessly and without
01:36:03.020 compassion, men, women and children of the Polish derivation and language.
01:36:08.180 Only thus shall we give gain the living space in which we need, who after all speaks today
01:36:14.940 of the annihilation of our Arminians.
01:36:17.920 Only one thing is true.
01:36:19.580 A new situation has now been created.
01:36:22.420 Poland will be depopulated and then settled by the Germans.
01:36:27.220 My pact with Poland after all was only intended to gain time.
01:36:32.920 What I have here was originally published about two months before that speech was given.
01:36:45.960 Remember, they're doing peace accords and everything else.
01:36:49.020 These are the final plans given to the German commanders.
01:36:55.260 These are all of the maps.
01:36:57.040 If you're watching the Blaze TV, you'll see them.
01:36:59.760 These are all of the maps of Poland, where they're going, how they're going to get there.
01:37:04.900 And this is the battle plan given to the commanders.
01:37:10.300 And I want to read a couple of things translated in German.
01:37:12.920 There's a box in red on the front.
01:37:14.640 It says this is a secret item within the meeting of Section 88 Reich criminal code.
01:37:21.460 Misuse will be punished according to provisions of this law unless other state provisions come
01:37:25.920 into question.
01:37:26.380 So, firing squad, you would be dead immediately.
01:37:29.240 Then, under that is another warning.
01:37:32.000 It says, secret military geographical description of Poland with individual information for reference
01:37:37.960 completed July 1st, 1939.
01:37:43.220 Wow.
01:37:44.140 So, almost two months before they are, you hear that speech, and then they postpone it again
01:37:52.800 until September, the plans were already drawn to liquidate Poland.
01:38:02.460 So, you're in a time period, once again, where how do you tell the truth?
01:38:10.880 How do you know what the truth is?
01:38:12.640 Those who negotiated with Hitler, I think they were hoping that that was the truth.
01:38:19.080 I'm guessing that most of them knew it probably wasn't.
01:38:24.800 Separate what you know to be true from what you hope to be true.
01:38:29.460 Because if you just go on hopes and you dismiss the actual words of people who are threatening
01:38:41.020 to do crazy things, you will most times be mistaken and it won't end well.
01:38:47.700 So, let's know what the truth is and not what we hope to be true.
01:38:53.420 Pretty amazing, isn't it?
01:38:54.720 It's wild.
01:38:55.380 These are all of the, these are the actual instructions along with the pictures of all
01:39:00.920 the bridges that they need to blow up.
01:39:03.020 All of the instructions to the commanding generals that went into Poland.
01:39:09.800 Absolutely incredible.
01:39:11.220 I mean, I think I don't even know how to.
01:39:13.320 I know.
01:39:13.540 I was shocked when we, we got this in auction.
01:39:17.200 I couldn't believe we have this.
01:39:18.740 We also have the original Operation Bigot plan.
01:39:23.880 You know what that was?
01:39:25.060 Do you know what that was?
01:39:26.580 Operation Bigot.
01:39:27.920 It is D-Day.
01:39:31.300 And we have the, we have the plans from Bigot and there's a second name too.
01:39:37.160 We have the, and some of them are hand annotated from the D-Day invasion.
01:39:45.000 I mean, I just want to do, at one point, I think we should just do an open history of
01:39:50.660 just World War II.
01:39:52.280 It's amazing what artifacts you can still find and preserve.
01:39:59.440 I would, I would, I'm on a new push personally to acquire things that cannot be replaced.
01:40:12.640 We have documents and others, other things that I just worry that someday, you know, a hundred
01:40:21.200 years from now and, you know, the robots have taken over, they're so, they're Marxist robots.
01:40:26.980 And so they would destroy all of our history.
01:40:30.740 Our history has to be preserved.
01:40:33.040 Your history has to be preserved.
01:40:34.920 If you're not writing a diary, please, if you can start one, just make notes of what's happening
01:40:41.880 every day.
01:40:43.420 That will be used by historians.
01:40:45.560 I've, I've read diaries of people in Germany and it's fascinating to read them because you'll
01:40:52.800 see things that you don't see in the newspapers.
01:40:55.780 You know, it's one of my, one of the things that really stuck out to me was we didn't know
01:41:01.240 this word hyperinflation just last week.
01:41:04.100 Now it's the only word anyone is talking about.
01:41:09.300 History's incredible.
01:41:10.440 Knowing history and knowing battle plans, where do you think this goes?
01:41:17.600 Is this going this weekend?
01:41:19.440 If it goes?
01:41:21.260 I think that it could.
01:41:23.700 So knowing history, the last time something like this happened with Russia was Georgia
01:41:28.520 2008.
01:41:29.920 I want to say.
01:41:30.980 And they told people to evacuate.
01:41:32.720 They told the, yeah, the people evacuated just as they did not.
01:41:35.840 They are now, of course, there was tensions just as it is now.
01:41:38.120 Um, they evacuated their people, uh, back into Russia.
01:41:41.920 And then the invasion happened, I think four days afterwards, three to four days later.
01:41:46.600 So this does kind of go to that playbook.
01:41:48.480 But again, this is so telegraphed that it's almost like they're saying, look, what's going
01:41:54.320 to happen, uh, as kind of like an aggressive diplomatic move.
01:41:58.740 Is there a chance they take just two sectors and then it's over without any budget?
01:42:03.520 I feel like that's the most likely thing.
01:42:04.760 I do too.
01:42:05.180 I do too.
01:42:05.600 I mean, I don't think they're going to go all the way to Kiev and take over the entire
01:42:08.700 country.
01:42:09.200 I really hope they don't.
01:42:10.600 They are, they, they are formed to do that.
01:42:13.640 So they're in Belarus to go towards Kiev.
01:42:15.860 Yep.
01:42:16.040 All sides.
01:42:16.960 But again, that seems to me more likely as if this escalates or.
01:42:22.520 Just give us these territories and we'll leave you alone.
01:42:25.420 Because they basically already have, right?
01:42:27.720 So there's a possibility this could end without a shot fired.
01:42:30.080 That would be fantastic.
01:42:31.840 That would be fantastic.
01:42:32.880 Not for Ukraine, though.
01:42:34.060 No, not for Ukraine.
01:42:35.060 I mean, you know, it's better that the shots aren't fired, obviously, but, you know, just
01:42:39.040 losing multiple regions of their country.
01:42:41.500 This is a, I mean, Russia is violating all sorts of previous agreements they've made with
01:42:46.260 Ukraine on this.
01:42:47.840 No.
01:42:48.200 Among other things.
01:42:48.880 And I, I agree with that.
01:42:50.480 And it's, uh, it's horrible to lose part of your country.
01:42:54.580 Yeah.
01:42:55.480 Um, and I would fight if it was happening in our country.
01:43:00.340 Um, and I will pray for the Ukrainians that God is with them.
01:43:06.740 Yeah.
01:43:07.860 The Glenn Beck program.
01:43:10.540 Real estate agents.
01:43:11.860 I trust.
01:43:12.680 We have taken a pretty good beating as a country the last couple of years.
01:43:16.120 Um, and if you are like most people and you are trying to find a house, it might be hard.
01:43:22.220 How do you find a house you can afford?
01:43:26.000 How do you, how do you get somebody that if you're living in a place where property values
01:43:32.620 are going sky high, do you sell your house?
01:43:35.840 And if so, where do I move to?
01:43:38.700 Where, how do I buy another house?
01:43:40.580 If I'm trying to sell my house and I'm in a bad place where they're not, the property
01:43:46.500 values aren't really high.
01:43:49.120 How can I even sell my house?
01:43:51.460 You need the best real estate agent.
01:43:53.440 You need somebody who has been there through all kinds of sales, all kinds of time periods,
01:43:58.300 somebody that has a great team around them and has a lot of people already coming to their
01:44:03.600 website, looking for houses.
01:44:05.120 We found those real estate agents all over the country.
01:44:08.300 We may have one near you that we think is the best real estate agents.
01:44:12.700 I trust.com is a free service to you just to match you up with somebody who has a great
01:44:17.480 track record in your area.
01:44:19.100 Real estate agents.
01:44:20.460 I trust.com head over to blaze tv.com slash Glenn.
01:44:25.680 The promo code is Glenn to save 10 bucks off the subscription to blaze TV.
01:44:35.120 This is the Glenn Beck program.
01:44:43.700 I want to talk to you a little bit about what's going up on Canada, but Stu and I were just
01:44:47.420 talking a little bit about Ukraine and what is Putin thinking?
01:44:52.860 Nobody knows, but he is, he's a guy who's already had his, you know, time in death camps,
01:44:59.320 you know, as being a colonel in the KGB.
01:45:01.860 He's had a long reign of power.
01:45:04.100 You know, it's interesting.
01:45:05.080 I think with dictators, they kind of go different ways as they get older.
01:45:09.640 You could go the way of someone who, because everybody, when you're a dictator, when you're
01:45:14.880 younger, you're thinking of taking over the world, right?
01:45:16.960 I mean, everybody, every young dictator has these ideological dreams of wiping out races
01:45:22.720 and taking over the world.
01:45:24.900 They're great.
01:45:25.480 They're just, I love these people.
01:45:27.140 Oh yeah.
01:45:27.460 But most, I don't know if most, but a lot of them wind up growing old and mellowing,
01:45:34.160 continually, pragmatically talking themselves out of launching some massive war.
01:45:40.020 And throughout their younger years, I need to get more power.
01:45:42.840 I need to get more weapons.
01:45:44.200 I need to have a better economy, whatever it is.
01:45:46.060 And then by the time they get older, I want, I mean, mellow isn't exactly the right word.
01:45:50.220 No, I mean, they, they, they protect what they have.
01:45:53.540 Yeah.
01:45:53.720 Their aspirations become not world domination, but I will continue to destroy my people and
01:46:00.680 I will live in my kingdom.
01:46:02.440 And my kids will never want for anything.
01:46:05.200 And I will hand the power over to them so they can finish the job I started.
01:46:09.280 Correct.
01:46:09.380 There's another version of this where you get older and you realize I've been planning
01:46:13.500 this my whole life.
01:46:14.480 I've put it off my whole life and now I'm getting old.
01:46:17.660 And if I don't do it now, it's never going to happen.
01:46:19.600 And you wonder if, I mean, Putin seems to me to be more of that brand of dictator.
01:46:24.920 So let me, because there may be a slight difference in our opinion on this, because I think he really
01:46:31.340 believes that the Soviet union, as he said, the Soviet union, the fall of the Soviet union
01:46:37.180 is the greatest mistake in all of history.
01:46:39.160 Right.
01:46:39.700 I think he's, um, uh, I think he's motivated to be the long lasting hero, the George Washington
01:46:50.220 of returning that Soviet power.
01:46:53.040 Yeah.
01:46:53.400 No, I think that's true.
01:46:54.260 But almost like a, a historical legacy.
01:46:57.240 Yeah.
01:46:57.780 I, but he has to.
01:46:59.220 A Genghis Khan.
01:46:59.740 Yes.
01:46:59.920 Yeah.
01:47:00.080 He has to start that though.
01:47:01.960 Right.
01:47:02.440 He has to start that process.
01:47:04.560 If he never does anything to, to, to, to, to start it.
01:47:08.040 I don't think he's remembered that way, you know, and that, and that's why I look at this
01:47:12.440 and it's hard to believe he won't do anything.
01:47:14.280 We've basically told him a minor incursion.
01:47:16.600 Eh, we're okay with it.
01:47:17.860 Yeah.
01:47:18.080 And you look at what he's, they're evacuating these two regions.
01:47:22.220 You look at the case for going in to take over the entire country.
01:47:26.020 They've got 150,000 troops or so on the border.
01:47:30.000 Ukraine has well over 200,000 troops, more like a quarter of a million troops who are
01:47:35.040 obviously on the ready right now.
01:47:37.320 You, this is a, this is a tough lift.
01:47:39.980 They have, this is a country, the size of Texas with 10 million people more than Texas
01:47:44.060 and they're, they're well armed.
01:47:46.360 Yeah.
01:47:46.540 So to take over this whole, a lot of this country does not want to be under the, the
01:47:50.260 purview of those two reason regions do.
01:47:53.000 They are really, really Russians that live in Ukraine, in Ukraine.
01:47:57.240 They, they're running that direction, but the rest of the country does not want to go
01:48:02.120 back to the former Soviet union and they will fight against what an army of people that
01:48:06.780 just are fighting because they're told to, that doesn't usually work out well.
01:48:11.380 Let me go to Steven Kent.
01:48:12.860 I, Steven, I thought of you today because I was watching what's happening in Canada and
01:48:20.160 I immediately thought, wasn't this in star Wars?
01:48:24.300 And we started debating it.
01:48:26.200 And I said, you know what?
01:48:27.580 Call Steven.
01:48:28.240 Cause he'll know for sure.
01:48:29.420 There is a, there is a, by the way, Steven Kent is the author of how the force can fix the
01:48:35.720 world, uh, and, uh, uh, beltway Banthas, uh, as well.
01:48:41.060 The podcast, Steven, let me, uh, let me tell you what the parliament said.
01:48:47.420 The police of the Capitol, the Capitol police in there, it's the parliament police.
01:48:53.180 They said that today it is too dangerous to seat parliament.
01:48:58.040 And today was the day they were going to, uh, debate the emergency order too dangerous.
01:49:03.800 So parliament can't be seated, uh, and, uh, just stay in your homes and stay away from
01:49:09.800 the area.
01:49:10.420 It's dangerous.
01:49:11.140 And if you're in the area already, stay inside of a building until the police say you can come
01:49:15.460 out.
01:49:17.040 Didn't that happen like in star Wars too?
01:49:21.840 Glenn, it, it really did.
01:49:23.580 I mean, this is the kind of thing that you, you kind of feel like you've seen it everywhere
01:49:27.320 because you've heard different variations of it across your history textbooks growing up
01:49:32.900 and some of the great works on the rise and fall of empires throughout human history.
01:49:36.920 But the great thing about star Wars, and this is why I evangelize so much about it just as
01:49:42.200 a tool for talking about civics is it's very easy to get people to sit down and watch star
01:49:47.600 Wars and incur some of the very same lessons that you need to understand about the rise and
01:49:52.220 fall of Julius Caesar, Hitler, and I guess now Justin Castro, I'm sorry, Trudeau.
01:49:59.480 This, this, this story and particularly attack of the clones episode two is the part of the
01:50:05.480 story where, where emperor Palpatine consolidates his powers, uh, by receiving the, the, uh,
01:50:11.200 ultimate authority of the emergency powers act so that they can enact the military creation
01:50:15.860 of a clone army.
01:50:16.820 What's going on in star Wars at this weird time is that there is a civil war brewing and
01:50:22.040 they have no army in this democratic Republic.
01:50:25.360 And so what Palpatine does is he creates an air of danger.
01:50:29.080 He launches an assassination on several, uh, senators so that they just don't show up to
01:50:35.020 the vote.
01:50:35.500 And then all of the other senators fearing danger from their own people, they just don't show
01:50:41.720 up at the time when there's going to be a vote, uh, on emergency powers, which Jar Jar Binks,
01:50:48.240 of course, brings to the floor.
01:50:50.500 Um, the fear of danger and suspicions of your own people is a big part of power accumulation.
01:50:56.480 And it's kind of hard not to see playing out in Canada right now.
01:51:00.960 A star Wars, cause everything, everything you think, wait a minute, that was in star Wars.
01:51:07.620 Um, that's just because, uh, the story itself, the story arc is such a well-researched story
01:51:18.980 arc of all of our legends and histories and really the face of heroes and the hero arc.
01:51:26.960 Don't you think?
01:51:28.240 Is that why it's everywhere?
01:51:29.660 And, you know, even one of the funniest, you know, Palpatine memes that was ever born of
01:51:34.300 the prequels was when Palpatine, as he's receiving emergency powers from the Senate and Star Wars,
01:51:40.280 he says, I love democracy.
01:51:42.440 And this is actually something that is pulled out of the Latin, uh, that we understand one
01:51:47.440 of the remarks Caesar made during his time, as he was accumulating power after the civil
01:51:52.920 war, where he defeated consul Pompey to become the eventual, you know, full-time dictator of
01:51:59.300 Rome, you know, it is incumbent on these people to express a love for the democracy.
01:52:05.040 The idea that they are just purely trying to save it.
01:52:08.220 And then by creating or inflaming an air of danger, rallying senators to their cause to
01:52:14.340 be participants in protecting it.
01:52:16.740 Star Wars is sort of the great mesh story of this, um, covering all of your history books.
01:52:22.440 And like, it's easy to have kids sit down and talk about that.
01:52:26.020 It's easy to get kids to sit down and watch, um, Iron Man versus Captain America, right?
01:52:32.240 The civil war installment of Marvel, where you've got two factions feuding over whether or not
01:52:37.600 people with superpowers need to be registered with the government to protect the public.
01:52:42.180 These are incredibly powerful civic stories that we need to zero in on.
01:52:46.220 I'm watching Canada with just complete horror right now, because it is to me the case in
01:52:53.860 point of how people are always on the lookout for Emperor Palpatine.
01:52:58.920 You see it in American politics all the time, like Obama's Palpatine, Trump is Palpatine,
01:53:03.440 Bush is Palpatine, but nobody's ever talking about, well, who's Anakin?
01:53:08.380 Anakin Skywalker, the guy who becomes Darth Vader.
01:53:11.180 And I would like to explain real quick, because there's this amazing scene in episode two.
01:53:16.220 Where Anakin Skywalker is talking about how he would like politics to work.
01:53:20.340 And he's basically just saying, like, the senators should all get together and agree
01:53:23.520 what's in the best interest of the people.
01:53:25.420 And they're like, well, we do that already.
01:53:27.320 And if we don't agree, then someone should make them agree.
01:53:30.900 And Anakin, you know, this, you know, cute, you know, attractive young man.
01:53:35.420 And he sort of is looking at politics and going, you know, well, if this works, it is something
01:53:40.220 that we should do.
01:53:41.140 Nobody's looking out for those people, these well-meaning, soft-spoken, attractive politicians,
01:53:48.600 a.k.a. Justin Trudeau, an NPR fascist, who is just very sweet-talking in his desires to
01:53:56.280 make everybody feel safe, secure at all times.
01:53:59.720 That's the dictator playbook.
01:54:02.180 But everybody's just out there looking for the big bad guy in the black cloak.
01:54:06.200 And you're not going to ever get that.
01:54:09.020 Okay.
01:54:09.320 I have to disagree with you that Justin Trudeau could not be Anakin because in the end, he
01:54:17.640 becomes Darth Vader.
01:54:19.060 And when it is Justin Trudeau, I know in the end, they'll pull the mask off and they'll
01:54:25.700 say, I am your father.
01:54:28.300 And it will be Castro.
01:54:29.540 Castro.
01:54:31.560 When Justin Trudeau is robbed of his good luck, he will have nothing left.
01:54:38.240 Thanks very much, Steven.
01:54:39.820 I appreciate it.
01:54:40.580 God bless.
01:54:41.820 I have to talk to you, Stu.
01:54:44.180 We're going to take a quick break and come back.
01:54:46.920 I don't believe the Castro thing at all.
01:54:49.980 But have you seen the pictures?
01:54:51.660 Yeah, I have.
01:54:52.860 He doesn't look like his dad at all.
01:54:55.540 And he does shockingly look like Castro.
01:55:00.060 Yeah.
01:55:00.400 There's a few of these around that you could convince me to believe in my mind.
01:55:05.420 I am probably not to him, but in my mind, a harmless conspiracy theory like I, you know,
01:55:09.740 like I don't think it would be harmless.
01:55:11.480 I think he'd love that.
01:55:13.360 He loves Castro.
01:55:15.380 He's the only one in, I think, the West that gave a tribute send off of Castro.
01:55:21.660 What's the guy that's, who was on MSNBC and did all the Me Too journalism and was supposedly
01:55:26.820 the son of Frank Sinatra?
01:55:29.400 Not, uh.
01:55:30.540 That one, I don't know.
01:55:31.840 Yes, you do.
01:55:32.260 We talked about it.
01:55:33.020 Woody Allen.
01:55:33.660 What the heck is his name?
01:55:34.460 Oh, no.
01:55:34.820 Woody Allen.
01:55:35.560 It's, uh, uh, Derek, uh, Derek.
01:55:38.960 You know who I'm talking about.
01:55:40.440 The guy who, the man who broke all the Me Too stories and got all the credit for it
01:55:45.540 after the women who actually broke the stories wrote them, uh, that, that guy, uh, who used
01:55:51.980 to work for MSNBC and he was in the New Yorker.
01:55:54.440 I can't think of a stupid name.
01:55:55.880 Yeah.
01:55:56.200 Um, but.
01:55:56.540 We all know him.
01:55:57.000 He won.
01:55:57.480 He's the guy who won all of those journalism awards before he did anything.
01:56:03.880 Yeah.
01:56:04.300 In journalism.
01:56:04.980 He got a show.
01:56:05.840 Yeah.
01:56:06.140 And then legitimately, this is true.
01:56:07.600 The ultimate slap in the face of the Me Too movement.
01:56:10.480 He wrote stories about, like, Harvey Weinstein and got all the credit for them after the
01:56:15.920 women, Ronan Farrow, thank you, after Ronan, he wrote the, these stories, got all the
01:56:21.780 credit, and it was actually two women who, who did all the reporting and released the
01:56:26.680 story first, and then for these stories, they gave the credit to the guy, which is
01:56:31.460 the ultimate Me Too, uh, hypocrisy.
01:56:35.000 All right.
01:56:35.560 Let me take a quick break.
01:56:36.640 Uh, the Tuttle Twins.
01:56:38.280 Tuttle Twins.
01:56:39.320 Oh, okay.
01:56:39.960 I will.
01:56:40.480 Um, is that Justin Trudeau there?
01:56:43.400 Stand up.
01:56:43.880 Yes, sir.
01:56:44.920 Um, let me ask you a question.
01:56:47.480 All these days, we are fighting to preserve what?
01:56:52.220 What?
01:56:53.300 The freedoms that we are desperately concerned about?
01:56:56.760 Is that what we're trying to protect?
01:56:58.880 Or are we trying to protect the idea of these freedoms and that man can rule himself?
01:57:05.440 Because if we just fight for the freedoms and we don't prepare our children so they know
01:57:12.960 what they're fighting for?
01:57:14.320 It's kind of like we were just talking about the Ukrainians are going to fight the Russians
01:57:17.500 because the Ukrainians don't want to go back to the Soviet Union.
01:57:22.300 They don't want to do that.
01:57:23.540 Um, they're Ukrainians.
01:57:25.960 What do the Russians care?
01:57:27.820 The Russians go in, they're doing their job.
01:57:30.320 They don't have something that they love and understand that they're fighting for.
01:57:35.520 This is why the Tuttle Twins books are so important.
01:57:39.480 We can't just preserve their freedom.
01:57:41.060 We have to teach them why it's meaningful and why small government works and why our founders
01:57:46.660 were so brilliant and what they came up with and how it's changed the world.
01:57:50.700 They have books for teens that are on an extended Valentine's Day sale.
01:57:57.040 That means today is the last day, but they also have the children's book on the children's
01:58:02.720 books.
01:58:03.040 I should say they have all 12 of 12 of them for $50 right now, and that includes all of
01:58:08.240 the activity workbooks.
01:58:09.600 So go to Tuttle Twins Beck dot com and get this extended Valentine's Day deal.

01:58:31.280 Well, it's President's Day weekend.
01:58:51.520 All presidents, all presidents, because they're all created equal, except for one.
01:58:58.600 One is more equal because he was black and the rest of them are all oppressors.
01:59:05.780 Just.
01:59:07.740 Right.
01:59:08.440 OK, thank you for that.
01:59:09.820 He you know, you remember when we used to have George Washington's birthday and and Lincoln's
01:59:16.820 birthday.
01:59:17.780 Yeah.
01:59:17.940 You kind of pick the presidents you thought were worthy of a day off.
01:59:20.840 Yeah.
01:59:21.040 Instead of just being like, yeah, all of all.
01:59:23.340 Yeah.
01:59:23.540 All of them.
01:59:24.020 Even the ones that committed genocide.
01:59:25.740 And those.
01:59:26.920 You know, here's what I'd really like.
01:59:29.640 Here's what I'd really like.
01:59:30.640 We'll go out and get party stuff if we can afford it.
01:59:36.760 OK.
01:59:37.240 On a conservative side, if we can afford it and we'll throw a party for this president.
01:59:44.100 And all those on the left, if you can afford it, go out and throw a party for the last president.
01:59:51.880 We can all come together.
01:59:53.100 We can all stand in the supermarket aisles and say, gee, I can't afford it.
01:59:57.940 And then maybe one of us will say, and which president brought that to us?
02:00:04.720 And that's how we can celebrate together in the aisles of our supermarket.
02:00:09.760 By the way, the Joe Biden's approval rating has now fallen to the level of Trump's approval
02:00:15.160 rating.
02:00:16.060 Really?
02:00:16.660 Now, Trump, of course, came into office as a divisive figure, as you may have noticed.
02:00:21.340 Some people did not like him all that much.
02:00:24.120 And so he is the only president that Biden was ahead of this whole time.
02:00:29.200 And I feel like now I feel like he earned that, too.
02:00:32.240 Oh, yeah.
02:00:32.500 You know what I mean?
02:00:32.840 He worked at that.
02:00:35.180 Yeah.
02:00:35.300 He was constantly needling people, the press and everything about Trump.
02:00:39.240 Yeah.
02:00:39.500 Like, yeah.
02:00:39.900 Yeah.
02:00:40.060 I mean, he came in, like, basically saying, like, look, I'm going to say what I want to
02:00:43.180 say.
02:00:43.780 And if you don't like me, you don't like me.
02:00:45.280 So he started out at a lower level than all the other presidents.
02:00:48.260 Usually you have this little honeymoon period.
02:00:50.300 Yeah, he didn't get one.
02:00:51.300 Which he did not get.
02:00:52.960 Biden did.
02:00:53.780 He came in above 50 percent.
02:00:55.340 And it's just slowly deteriorated to the point where now he's passed Trump, or at least
02:01:00.120 I think crossed that line of Trump for the first time since he became president.
02:01:05.880 He's going to look back on these days as the good old days.
02:01:10.600 He is going to look back and go, man, do you remember when I had an approval rating of
02:01:17.120 30 percent?
02:01:18.300 You know, you think to yourself, that can't get any worse than this.
02:01:20.980 And then you remember the president, as we approach President's Day, Barack Obama saying,
02:01:25.540 don't underestimate Joe's ability to F things up.
02:01:30.080 And it's true.
02:01:31.660 It's true.
02:01:32.320 It can make it much worse.
02:01:33.200 All right.
02:01:33.640 Monday, I'll see you in the supermarket aisles celebrating if we can afford it.
