00:00:00.000 Let me tell you quickly about home title lock.

00:00:01.960 You never thought that COVID could cost you your home, cost so many people so many things,

00:00:06.860 but the home, really?

00:00:08.080 Well, cybercrime is up 75%, and by far, the most serious cybercrime to kind of hit us

00:00:13.000 has been home title theft.

00:00:15.280 Home title fraud is one of the fastest growing crimes in America.

00:00:18.000 It's this giant, giant suck of money because you might have $100,000, $200,000 of equity

00:00:23.780 in your house, depending how far you are in paying it off.

00:00:27.340 It hits the people who pay their bills, who are on time with their mortgage, who have

00:00:32.020 done it right.

00:00:32.920 They've got all, you know, they maybe have their house paid off, and they don't even

00:00:36.020 notice that this is happening to them.

00:00:38.160 HomeTitleLock.com is the place you can go to protect yourself against this.

00:00:41.060 If you register your address and see if you're already a victim, use the code radio and receive

00:00:57.220 And then the year 2021, got to be protected against this stuff.

00:01:02.260 HomeTitleLock.com is the place to go.

00:01:04.220 HomeTitleLock.com.

00:01:05.140 The code is radio.

00:01:06.680 We have Pat and myself in for Glenn today.

00:01:10.360 Radio show here starts in just a couple of seconds.

00:01:12.840 What you are about to hear.

00:01:35.460 what you are about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment

00:01:45.320 this is the glenn beck program

00:01:51.340 it's pat and stew for glenn on the glenn beck program welcome to it a lot to get into today

00:02:05.100 uh of course the oppressive georgia law uh and moving the fortunately moving the all-star game

00:02:13.000 out of atlanta that was a close one you wouldn't want to have that in a racist place like georgia

00:02:18.520 would you you wouldn't want that uh that and lots more coming up in 60 seconds

00:02:24.860 the glenn beck program so are you one of the millions of americans who live every day of

00:02:34.380 your life with lots of pain if so what have you tried to get rid of it and how long did it work

00:02:38.940 for you if it worked at all uh you know we've talked about this so many times you know glenn

00:02:43.160 has had a huge issue with with back pain and he was dealing with you know debilitating pain

00:02:47.860 all the time one of uh one of his favorite things to do of course is to paint and he came and do that

00:02:53.600 half the time because of how bad his back pain was getting uh eventually tanya uh convinced him

00:02:59.940 to become a real uh relief factor user and he started using and had great results has now been

00:03:06.300 able to paint i mean you should see some of the paintings this guy's doing now glenn is really

00:03:09.860 good i hate to tell him that he's talented at things uh but it is in this case it's very very

00:03:15.540 true uh relief factor is not a drug but it was developed by doctors and 70 of the people who try

00:03:20.380 it of course go on to order more they like it might work for you too give it a shot you can order the

00:03:25.000 three-week quick start for only 19.95 what have you got to lose except your pain go to relieffactor.com

00:03:31.300 or call 800-500-8384 that's relieffactor.com or 800-500-8384 for relief factor

00:03:55.000 it's pat and stew for glenn on the glenbeck program uh 888-727-BECK so they did in fact uh

00:04:03.560 move the all-star game out of atlanta incredible i mean really incredible what over nothing over

00:04:09.900 absolutely nothing it literally is a nothing burger what they're trying to do here but they've

00:04:18.260 successfully acted as though they've absolutely excluded every minority in the state from ever

00:04:25.440 voting again yeah and there's no sign of this the law overtly expands early access to voting

00:04:33.780 overtly it is you know you could say it's so funny back because you go back to 2020 and people said

00:04:39.700 look we need these new rules and guidelines for voting because the pandemic right we don't know how

00:04:46.940 this is going to be when election time rolls around we need to have easier ways for people

00:04:51.720 to vote voting from by mail and early voting and all these different things and like that is a

00:04:57.140 logical argument right and like we understood you know we understand that it was also being used for

00:05:03.840 politics but like there's some sense to the idea that we didn't know what was coming around the

00:05:07.840 corner and you might want to uh do what you can to loosen up the rules for this one election as they

00:05:13.040 pointed out it's a one-time thing and once once in a hundred year pandemic you're going to change

00:05:17.600 things up now the media is acting as if that is the only way anyone has ever voted and any change and

00:05:25.120 diversion from that track is an automatically you know controversial racist policy even though by any

00:05:37.220 measure this is the most uh the easiest way to access uh the ability to vote in any election

00:05:44.740 with the exception of 2020 2018 and every other year before that would have been much more restrictive

00:05:51.000 and continues to be much more restrictive all over the country including states like new york and

00:05:55.900 delaware delaware you might note is the home state of joe biden and it's much more difficult to vote

00:06:04.380 there than it is in georgia but no one seems to care and because it's really not about this

00:06:10.160 it is not about georgia voting at all it's about things that are much larger than that like hr1 they

00:06:17.120 want people to get so frustrated with voting rights and look at all these states passing all these things

00:06:20.860 we can't trust them anymore look pat we we said yes i know i said i wasn't gonna vote to get rid of

00:06:27.300 the filibuster sure sure i said that but we did not expect the republicans to do things like this

00:06:33.340 i mean we how could we possibly have seen this coming they're going back to the jim crow era

00:06:38.540 of course we do we need to do it this one time because this is so important and just need to

00:06:44.840 nationalize elections no big deal this is actually jim crow on steroids yeah as you know uh from our

00:06:51.140 president jim crow on steroids think of how bad that is not only to just a disservice to the american

00:06:58.660 people today who are actually trying to understand what's going on but also a disservice to the people

00:07:03.700 who went through total slap in the face to them i mean this was a terrible era for our country terrible

00:07:10.600 things happened it wasn't like you could only vote on early for 17 days that's not what jim crow was

00:07:18.820 this was it's it's a complete insult to the people who had to deal with those actual policies and those

00:07:26.100 actual uh hardships um we had a story comparing uh georgia to um the new georgia law to new york voting

00:07:35.280 laws in virtually every case the new georgia laws are less restrictive than new york's so what do you

00:07:44.160 watch them move the all-star game to new york city i'll bet and nobody will say anything about

00:07:50.580 new york's voting laws or watch them move it to uh wisconsin where they've got stricter voting laws 0.84

00:07:57.060 and nobody will say a word if they if they move this thing to milwaukee uh it's absolutely astounding

00:08:05.200 to me how effective they've been in making something out of absolutely nothing nothing in fact they made

00:08:11.880 something very very evil out of something that's really pretty good they extended the early voting

00:08:18.780 uh they they you do have to have an id at the polling booth but 25 states require id more than half

00:08:30.540 of the states uh actually i think it's 26 states uh require an id when you go vote i mean there was

00:08:37.400 nothing extraordinary you can give them water that seemed to be yeah that seemed to be the real uh

00:08:43.780 stickler in this whole thing is that campaign workers can't give water to people in line now as you

00:08:52.240 know um pat drinking water in line is central to the right to vote central absolutely critical you must

00:08:59.820 have it in the scorching heat of georgia in november scorching you must blistering yes if you stand out

00:09:08.960 in it you'll you will get blisters that's how hot it is that's legitimately how they were describing it

00:09:13.980 the scorching and blistering heat of georgia okay yes i know they have uh primaries in times where it

00:09:20.400 is very hot in georgia but there's these lines are not popping up for primaries uh not to mention i don't

00:09:26.440 think the the accusation is hey we need to have uh we need to stop the turnout of democratic primaries

00:09:34.600 like what what would the republican motivation be for that exactly uh this this is one of those things

00:09:40.600 where the water thing is the best example of it because it's been the most highly publicized and it is

00:09:46.360 the most nothing yeah to to if you haven't heard what actually it goes on in this law

00:09:51.640 they you can't what they're worried about right is like people saying hey um the you know democrats

00:09:59.800 or republicans gather near a line with a bunch of pizzas and are like hey guys you know we just want

00:10:06.260 to tell you like we hope you vote democrat but uh here you know hey you guys want to slice a pizza

00:10:09.880 right the point is you don't have electioneering around the polls and this is you know something

00:10:13.980 they were worried about not about handing out water because people are dehydrating in the lines

00:10:18.800 but to cover that right it says you can have a self-service receptacle so they can set up a table

00:10:25.720 of water or a water cooler so that people can get water if they need it they're not trying to dehydrate

00:10:30.560 people in addition to that you can still have poll workers give you water in addition to that you can

00:10:37.600 still have third parties democratic operatives can stand and give you water it just has to be 25 feet

00:10:45.200 away from the line or 150 feet from the corner of the building so it can't they can't go inside the

00:10:51.680 building they can't go right up to the door that's about from dallas to chicago no is that is that right

00:10:56.880 no do i have that i know figures about right feet is it's a difficult thing but here's the thing it's

00:11:01.860 not even a complete first down in a football game it's only it's less than nine yards away you can walk

00:11:09.160 in a line nine yards away in these supposedly ridiculously long lines and you can get your

00:11:15.200 water you can come back to line no one's going to make you go to the back of the line again

00:11:18.280 it's it's basically nothing right it's just a way to scare people to believe republicans are trying

00:11:25.760 to stop minorities from voting here's another thing that could happen you could bring your own freaking

00:11:29.680 water yeah that's right yeah if you're if you're that worried about dehydrate dehydrating while you're

00:11:35.400 there thirsting to death in line while you wait to vote bring yourself a bottle of water well

00:11:42.420 minorities can't well they can get it for free right outside 25 feet away they can grab it before they get

00:11:49.320 in the line and hold it all the way to the door again i love the i love the fact that you know to a

00:11:55.020 democrat a minority is so poor they can't even afford a bottle of water they can't even bring 1.00

00:12:00.040 one with them i mean they don't have id they can't get online they can't afford a bottle of water 0.97

00:12:04.580 it's so ridiculous and they get away with it every single day it is getting worse though pat i think in

00:12:13.780 that they've always been able to get away with this and get a media cycle or two i think that's ever 0.96

00:12:18.800 since we've been doing the show going back you know decades now they've always been able to control

00:12:23.460 the early news cycles and always been able to do those types of things where people would start

00:12:28.560 you know they would just adopt these things as truth and the media would report them

00:12:33.240 however i maybe i'm romanticizing the past a little bit here but i feel like let's say the

00:12:40.380 mid-2000s the late 2000s the early 2010s there would be this battle right you'd have the the the

00:12:47.520 misleading left-wing narrative that would come out and then everyone would kind of go to work and

00:12:53.260 look at what they're saying and realize it doesn't make any sense and then we present the actual

00:12:57.600 information and people would be like oh no wait that's not what that does and and right and yes

00:13:03.200 there would still be people who believe the left-wing thing but generally speaking society would end

00:13:08.040 generally on the idea that you know the truth is the truth the truth wins out and i don't know i

00:13:15.260 don't think that's reality anymore i don't know if it's because it doesn't feel like it like it

00:13:20.480 doesn't seem all these things are happening based on a bill that is there's ink and paper all you

00:13:26.160 have to do is look at it and read it yeah there's no way to look at this as some terrible uh racist

00:13:31.600 tragedy it's just nonsense as jim crow on steroids there's absolutely nothing to that nothing nothing to

00:13:41.060 do it this is not a poll tax this is not you know uh fire hoses being turned on african americans as

00:13:48.580 they try to go near the polls this is not this is nothing like any of those horror shows this is a

00:13:56.480 a bill that takes georgia and moves the access to voting to a far more liberal direction makes it much

00:14:06.020 easier for people to access voting makes the uh the absentee ballot still with no excuses

00:14:12.560 you you don't need an excuse to absentee ballot uh absentee vote do you know that in new york

00:14:17.820 you do of course you do need an excuse in new york and like where i like amazing how can they be

00:14:24.760 saying these things they are so easily and provably false right and they just keep going with it as if

00:14:32.640 there's no other facts that there's no other there it's just like well what we've said it so

00:14:38.060 now it's true that is really what we're operating on right now i don't know how a society can continue

00:14:42.540 to operate when that's the when that's the way things work because you can't i mean it just winds

00:14:47.440 up being a dictatorship and this is why they want to hr1 so badly because what they believe with hr1 is

00:14:53.200 they're never going to lose another election so they're using this and they're bringing out all the

00:14:57.040 big guns to try to manipulate people into thinking there's a crisis in uh in the uh the the access uh

00:15:05.280 for for people to vote and they're saying okay well the republicans are so bad we need to do something

00:15:11.000 national we need to make this nationalized we need the federal government to handle it because as you've

00:15:14.800 seen the federal government is really good at handling things this makes a lot of sense and so they

00:15:20.720 want that to happen so badly it's a voters right sort of bill that's already passed the house

00:15:25.580 and they need every single democrat to vote for it plus need to get rid of the filibuster or 1.00

00:15:31.340 manipulate the filibuster in a way they can get it passed and they believe this is going to make it

00:15:35.620 a lot easier for them to win elections in the future uh you know this is what they're trying to do

00:15:41.360 they're trying to create a crisis and they're bringing in the national pastime and you know

00:15:46.680 airlines and all these big companies to do it yeah they're doing a good job of it too

00:15:51.040 uh they're really good at it even though even though the washington post gave joe biden four

00:15:57.260 pinocchios when he talked about this last week for the washington post yeah if you if you do

00:16:03.500 look hard enough you can find the truth in pretty much every mainstream publication every one of them

00:16:10.480 have said yeah well new york times washington post this isn't this isn't real but then they act as if

00:16:16.880 you know companies have to answer that there was i think it was cbs who ran a tweet this week in a

00:16:22.260 story here here are like five ways you can help push back against the georgia law it's like what

00:16:27.840 what are you are you a news organization a news organization writes stories to give you hypothetical

00:16:33.460 ways to push back against the law uh you know they're not the only ones uh the new york times were

00:16:40.540 in a terrible piece trying to analyze this bill and give people the complete opposite uh implications

00:16:46.060 of what actually is in there i mean it has been a show which i would like to put a swear in front of

00:16:53.260 it because they are not they are not even trying to tell you the truth now they're not even trying

00:16:57.780 to hide the fact they're lying they're just saying it and repeating it yeah it's really it's really a

00:17:02.580 scary thing all right uh our sponsor this half hour if you brought into a timeshare at some point

00:17:08.900 it's pretty good idea that you've like to be out of it by now the real question is uh isn't so much

00:17:14.900 as how it's it's really when and how quickly you can do it because the way the way to do it is is

00:17:20.400 clearly timeshare termination team timeshare termination team is here to help frustrated

00:17:24.700 timeshare owners like you understand how to legally get your timeshare contract and get it to the side

00:17:29.700 because you don't need to you don't need that anymore you need to get out of that contract

00:17:32.180 and look there you agreed to the contract there's legal ways to get out of it and if they've you know

00:17:37.060 especially if you if you're on one of these timeshares and they're not living up to their side of the

00:17:40.420 bargain which is very common uh you have rights here as well uh they can safely legally and

00:17:45.760 permanently get you out of this timeshare arrangement they have in-house legal team that will do all the

00:17:50.640 heavy lifting for you so you don't have to schedule a risk-free consultation and talk to one of their

00:17:54.920 advisors about your timeshare call timeshare termination team today to get the process

00:17:59.740 started don't keep putting it off and get stuck with another year of a timeshare you won't use

00:18:04.760 you'll get 20 off when you terminate your timeshare but to be sure uh to tell them that glennbeck sent

00:18:10.720 you 1-888 get you out it's 1-888-438-8688 or visit them online at timeshareterminationteam.com

00:18:19.780 it's timeshareterminationteam.com 10 seconds station id

00:18:23.660 that's pat and stew for glenn on the glennbeck program uh 888-727-BECK uh your story here about

00:18:44.540 bipartisan worry growing over the national debt which now totals 85,210 per person

00:18:52.180 i don't get the sense that anybody's worried about the national debt yeah i mean you have

00:18:59.240 any sense that anybody's paying attention to it it does seem like republicans have uh come out of

00:19:06.060 their uh debt hibernation and are now concerned about it a little bit but maybe a little i mean

00:19:13.200 only because we've spent six trillion dollars in what two months or we're about to i mean we did

00:19:20.300 two trillion then they're proposing the the two more trillion and then the two more trillion after

00:19:25.440 that and that does not include the 5.3 trillion uh during the last year of the pandemic under the

00:19:31.360 trump administration right so right uh this is still the 11 just 11 trillion ish uh wow it's

00:19:39.080 incredible and and a lot of this too the difference of course being you know you're starting the

00:19:43.640 pandemic we're in full shutdown mode right like those bills i there was i would say general

00:19:49.500 bipartisan agreement that you had to do something when you're forcing people to close their businesses

00:19:54.540 and telling them they're not allowed to go to work it's not fair it's true right i mean uh so as much

00:20:00.580 as no one wants to spend money at least it was understandable at the very beginning now we're at

00:20:05.560 the point where they're just like well we need a new bridge wait a minute does that have to do with

00:20:10.180 none of this has to do with covet at all they're not even trying to hide it now they're just calling

00:20:13.840 it an infrastructure plan they're calling the next one basically a mini deal yeah yeah it seems

00:20:19.380 to be basically what they're doing so they're going way way overboard it does seem like you know like

00:20:25.580 when when they were trying to go for 1.9 trillion dollars there was the moderate uh group of

00:20:33.240 republicans you know the susan collins the mitt romneys who decided we're going to try you know but

00:20:38.000 joe biden said he wanted to be bipartisan and negotiate these things so we're going to give

00:20:43.040 it a shot and so they went in there were like how about let's say 700 billion dollars hey i know you

00:20:48.960 want 1.9 trillion let's try 700 billion if we need more later we could try to get more but like let's

00:20:53.720 do something that's at least you know not every wish list item you've ever wanted and they wouldn't

00:20:59.620 even basically take the meeting for 700 billion dollars jeez you know which which was again what

00:21:06.100 obama was asking for in 2009 was only 787 billion what he was asking for and now they're like well

00:21:13.040 we're not even gonna take a meeting for 700 billion i don't get up for 700 billion on 700 billion it's

00:21:19.160 true though yeah they unless it's in the trillions now they don't worry about it and i don't think

00:21:24.800 neither do the american people i think we've become so accustomed to hearing 700 billion 800 billion 900

00:21:31.880 billion uh and now we're starting to hear 1.9 trillion 2 trillion two more trillion after that

00:21:39.540 4 trillion 5.3 trillion we're starting to think you know what's another 500 billion well it's another

00:21:47.100 1 trillion and we can afford it yeah i mean what was the whole the whole budget was like 4 trillion

00:21:52.960 dollars in 2019 and now they're like ah well what if we get 4 trillion dollars in like a week

00:21:58.980 we're just gonna hey on top of the uh 11 trillion you know it's like it is just unending and and in

00:22:06.840 this whole modern monetary theory thing we talked about going back into the election time it was

00:22:12.060 supposed to be this big controversy everyone thought it was lunacy right every mainstream

00:22:16.060 economist thought it was lunacy you know alexandria ocasio-cortez and ilan omar are out there saying we need

00:22:21.040 this thing to go through and now we're just doing it yeah we didn't we didn't really have a

00:22:25.220 conversation about it we're just like let's just try it let's just print constantly and see what

00:22:29.060 happens i mean what if we don't have inflation what if it doesn't happen this time like that seems to

00:22:34.920 be the the the theory here like well let's give it a whirl you never know what's going to happen

00:22:40.020 until you try yeah you know maybe we'll like it maybe we'll like the idea maybe everyone will get a

00:22:45.260 good workout with their wheelbarrows full of cash for a loaf of bread it'll be fantastic 0.96

00:22:49.020 this is the glenback program in the age of smart technology you'd think by now they would have

00:23:00.680 invented a car that cares about you and how much of your money is going down the drain if it has any

00:23:05.800 problems but unfortunately at this point no such luck if you haven't experienced it at any time

00:23:10.620 lately once your car's warranty expires and repairs are really really expensive it can be a terrible time

00:23:16.820 for you especially if something electronic goes computer chips right now are through the roof the

00:23:21.160 prices are going up and up and if you have to replace one of those you probably just you know

00:23:24.980 just sell the car for scrap that's basically where you are at that point unless you have car shield

00:23:29.500 when you're covered by car shield you don't have to worry about any of that from the time that you

00:24:09.680 check out my show pat gray unleashed every weekday 7 to 9 eastern time right before the glenbeck

00:24:16.900 program or anywhere you get your podcasts it's pat and stew for glen on the glenbeck program

00:24:30.020 triple eight seven two seven beck i'm amazed at this georgia law and the things they are saying

00:24:37.480 are in it which just you know so much of it is just not true at all but the voter id thing

00:24:42.820 has sort of amazed me maybe even more than normal how do you vote if you're in georgia uh if you're

00:24:49.960 voting absentee which again is no excuse you don't need to come up with an excuse for it you just do it

00:24:54.740 whenever you want how what what form of identification do you need to have previous to

00:25:00.900 this they had signature matching right which is obviously if you've ever paid for anything with a

00:25:06.820 credit card a bs process right you just i don't even try to sign my name on most of the credit card

00:25:13.060 receipts because it's just yeah you write a squiggly line and they've never once said hey wait a minute

00:25:18.460 that's it doesn't look like your signature sir i mean half the time your card is in a machine

00:25:25.720 they're not even looking at the back of it yeah they have no idea they don't care signature matching

00:25:29.980 is a really uh first of all obviously you could have four trees very easily uh second secondly like

00:25:37.280 it's a time-consuming process and third of all it's not at all reliable it's not reliable to for a

00:25:44.540 human eye to look at a couple of signatures and even if you had handwriting experts it wouldn't be

00:25:48.880 particularly reliable and signatures are out there they can be traced they can be practiced again like

00:25:55.900 is this a massive problem that people are faking signatures no however on the other side of it it's

00:26:01.940 just a pain in the butt for the state it's a lot of work and it has no it doesn't work well so the

00:26:09.060 idea of course has been well what if they just write their driver's license a number on on the

00:26:14.460 form right like that will get let us know okay this is the person you know that's voting we have

00:26:19.320 some way of lining this up that's the idea now obviously that could easily be forged too but

00:26:24.840 okay we'll just go along with it for now so this has been seen as this thing to stop minorities from 0.97

00:26:30.980 voting now of course minorities have ids this is a ridiculous thing the left seems to think black 0.99

00:26:37.380 people are incapable of getting driver's license it's racism it really is straight out racism it is 0.99

00:26:43.880 it's just them it's the left saying you can't do these things hispanics are not capable of the 1.00

00:26:50.220 same things white people are doing right uh that's ridiculous now they could try to they try to guise it 0.98

00:26:54.460 and saying it's systemic but like it's not systemic people every they have driver's license so when 0.93

00:27:01.180 people of course in the past have said well this is a racist thing there have been steps put in place

00:27:06.700 to deal with these ridiculous complaints and that are very very minor in the in their scope so this is

00:27:12.500 what the law actually talks about okay when you have the the absentee ballot you have to put your

00:27:21.080 driver's license and date of birth in the space provided on the outer envelope if the electorate

00:27:27.920 does not have a georgia's driver's license or state identification card so the second one is a state

00:27:32.420 identification card this is a state identification card that anyone can get and maybe doesn't drive

00:27:37.000 right maybe they're in the city they're using uber and lyft all the time they don't have a driver's

00:27:40.560 license they don't care about it uh we knew people in new york who were like this they don't they don't

00:27:44.820 bother because of the way the city is and they never leave the city so okay they don't have a

00:27:49.780 driver's license they can get a state id card and that card is free okay so that would be the number

00:27:56.340 two way of voting now this law goes further than that and says what if you don't have a driver's

00:28:02.680 license and you don't have a state id which is free how would you vote you could put write your

00:28:08.940 last four digits of your social security number on the envelope okay now wow now we're on step three

00:28:16.240 now if you have a social security number that should be pretty easy okay we have to do this

00:28:25.200 all the time with a million you know forms online with your bank whatever it is you write in the four

00:28:29.720 last four and all u.s citizens have social security numbers all u.s citizens you're noticing one of the

00:28:38.140 complaints from the left yeah you almost have to be a u.s citizen to vote almost have to be that

00:28:42.520 would be a real problem yeah now if the elector does not have a georgia's license uh or a social

00:28:47.340 security number okay now again your complaint is valid here why wouldn't you have a social security

00:28:51.440 number and still be a legal voter but maybe there's some little carve out there right um if you don't

00:28:56.740 have that you can also uh write on the outside of the envelope and place one of the forms of

00:29:03.440 identification sets forth in another section of the code okay so let's go to that section of the

00:29:08.280 code a valid u.s passport so now we are at license id card social security number or passport okay but

00:29:17.560 that's not it also you could have a valid employee identification card with a photo issued by any branch

00:29:26.240 department agency or entity of the u.s government uh this state or any county municipality board

00:29:33.880 authority or any other entity of the state so if you have any connection to a government job right and

00:29:39.320 you just have a regular your government photo id that now of course you could be illegal probably

00:29:45.160 doing that but you could vote with that uh in this in this uh it would count as a valid uh identification

00:29:50.300 can i use my blockbuster video card you can if my library card if i don't have a blockbuster card

00:29:56.600 anymore can i use my library card probably okay they were like oh why did you just throw out that

00:30:02.120 blockbuster card there's none left i don't care i'm keeping it and now i know why now it comes in handy

00:30:06.700 right now you could also have pat a valid tribal identification card with a photograph okay what if

00:30:14.580 they what if they locked up the whole you know cherokee nation oh no put them on that reservation 0.99

00:30:22.120 yeah you know took away my way of life what your way of life yeah the tomahawk and the you know the bow

00:30:28.620 and the knife yeah yeah what if they took away my native tongue right and then taught their english to my

00:30:37.000 young then how do i vote this song has no life outside of this program you are the only person

00:30:45.940 keeping it alive the only people who remember and to paul revere you're welcome you're welcome you're

00:30:51.520 welcome all right uh then we have so we've gone through all this i've now lost count on how many

00:30:57.060 actual id because the blockbuster videos have been inserted but i've lost count of the total but then

00:31:01.420 you can have a current utility bill no yep a bank statement that's easier than a blockbuster video

00:31:09.480 you don't need a you don't need to be a citizen to get a utility bill gosh a bank statement a government

00:31:15.080 check how many times have we found out that they've been sending to people who are not legal voters

00:31:19.980 government checks many uh a paycheck or other government document that shows your name and address

00:31:25.200 good gosh all of this can be done easy all it means is you you know what it's all about like

00:31:31.400 they want it to be so easy that there's no thought put in like they want to they their ideal system is

00:31:38.280 they send millions and millions of ballots straight out to everybody's home whoever's there or whoever

00:31:46.480 gets a hold of that ballot picks it up checks the box uh near the the letter d and then sends it back

00:31:53.000 in whether the voter even knows it's happening or not and that's what the system that they want by the

00:31:58.000 way if you don't have any of this i should point out if you don't have any of these things you can

00:32:03.860 still cast a provisional ballot and prove it later good golly all of this is new georgia law yes some of

00:32:11.180 it was existing law okay um that's combined like they just refer to an existing law that says here's

00:32:16.740 the forms of id but those forms of id are all valid are all valid so this is voter suppression

00:32:23.440 i i mean i i can't believable you try to change your password on a website you got to come up with

00:32:29.880 more information than this for sure yeah you do and this is not this is not voter suppression i'm sorry

00:32:35.120 you know what there there should be some effort going into being a voter yeah there should you should

00:32:41.360 have to be a citizen and make sure you can prove it if you say you're a citizen you should be able

00:32:48.700 to prove it all right let me see something more than your utility bill because everybody has utility

00:32:55.180 bill i mean if you're an illegal alien you can have a utility bill i i you there should be some effort

00:33:03.820 going into voting there's nothing wrong with that it's an important it's an important part of being an 0.95

00:33:09.500 american yeah you can't even show your stinking id come on do you know i spent multiple years trying 0.84

00:33:16.960 to cancel my new jersey easy pass i remember that yeah because they kept taking money out of my account 0.98

00:33:23.960 multiple years after i lived in the state over and over and over and over and over again because

00:33:29.800 they kept having this like i think it was like a one dollar a month charge but then when you whenever

00:33:34.320 that one dollar a month would run out they'd put more money on your account automatically i couldn't

00:33:38.480 stop them from doing it i had to i had to fax them like identification and bills proving my my area

00:33:45.180 of residence it took me i almost had to get a lawyer involved and it was partially at at the end i was

00:33:51.140 just so pissed off about several years it was several years we lived in texas for four or five years before

00:33:56.220 i got i got that thing canceled and i still wake up every morning wondering whether there will be a

00:34:01.140 charge from new jersey it's haunted me uh that was that's arduous it should not be arduous right you 0.99

00:34:11.200 should be able if you want to vote even if you're an idiot and want to vote for the dumb people in 0.96

00:34:15.780 washington dc right now on the left you should still be able to do it right like you should still 0.99

00:34:21.520 be able to vote it shouldn't be ridiculous it shouldn't be you know you have to go through a 0.57

00:34:27.000 million hurdles but an id is not ridiculous and asking for the ballot is not ridiculous no it's

00:34:33.040 not saying you know what i know i'm not going to make it to the polls this year can you mail me the

00:34:36.660 ballot is not a ridiculous thing you don't even need to make an excuse no in new york you do in

00:34:44.020 georgia you don't you don't all you do is all you have to say is yeah i'd like a ballot and they'll

00:34:49.840 send you one that's not difficult no it's not difficult at all it's just this is just a giant

00:34:56.680 narrative to push through some of the biggest democratic wish list items of the last century

00:35:02.320 and the bill has already passed the house they've got 50 votes in the senate all they have to do

00:35:07.300 is basically say and get you know joe manchin and kristin cinema on board to say hey we're to get rid

00:35:14.500 of this filibuster and if they get rid of that they can pass this voting law and they believe they

00:35:20.760 will never lose another federal election and they might be right state ones too and they might be

00:35:25.260 right i mean they're they're they're i don't know how it's constitutional pat i'd love to get your

00:35:28.560 thoughts on that because the the constitution pretty clearly you know designates how a lot of

00:35:33.040 these elections are supposed to happen yeah i don't know how you can get the federal i don't know how

00:35:36.000 you do it federally like they're trying to do they're probably just you know trying to figure out

00:35:39.740 some legal way around it um but there isn't one i mean literally this would wind up with the supreme

00:35:46.440 court yeah and the supreme court would have to say it's unconstitutional i mean i they won't they may

00:35:52.280 not but they should you have to say it of course this is such a i mean who knows who knows what

00:35:59.200 which way the supreme court would go at this point with uh roberts uh but you should have even without

00:36:06.320 roberts five votes you should in theory you should now i don't know kavanaugh i don't know uh yeah i

00:36:12.040 don't know there's a lot of i don't know's out there scary yeah it is it's scary but that's how close

00:36:17.600 we are to losing this this wonderful experiment we've had for the last couple hundred years

00:36:21.760 we keep coming down to these five four decisions on things that should not even be close yeah should

00:36:27.060 not even be close triple eight seven two seven beck more patents do for glenn on the glenn beck

00:36:32.720 program uh i don't know about you but sometimes i would like to just get away from all the visual

00:36:38.820 stuff that we're dealing with and just you know listen to something something great uh a little

00:36:43.560 podcast or an audiobook um whatever it is you're listening to you want to have good clear sound but

00:36:49.700 also want to be comfortable while listening and uh actually that's why we all use ray cons around

00:36:55.640 here actually i have my ray cons right here uh they're very easy they're very small and uh they

00:37:18.940 fit flat right against your ear it's really cool the sound is incredible and they cost way way less

00:37:25.400 than apple earbuds or some of these other brands uh sound quality is fantastic you can put them up 0.99

00:37:30.400 against the competition any day of the week and uh you know look you don't have the stupid sticks 0.94

00:37:56.620 the glenn beck program

00:38:00.800 it's pat and stew for glenn on the glenn beck program by the way uh uh glenn had a family

00:38:09.920 emergency uh come up right before the show we don't even uh know exactly what it was but we

00:38:15.180 would appreciate your your thoughts and your prayers for for him and his family today uh triple

00:38:20.680 8 727 beck as uh as we try to figure out um what what the problem is with uh george's new voting law

00:38:31.220 uh that expanded voting rights for everybody in including um minorities including blacks and

00:38:39.100 hispanics uh they expanded the uh the early voting for everybody um they they did say that campaign

00:38:50.100 workers can't distribute water to people in line to vote uh but that's not unusual any of the camp

00:38:58.860 any of the poll workers can certainly distribute water if they want to or you could bring water

00:39:04.420 yourself which i know is asking a lot of people because uh uh who who can afford a bottle of water

00:39:10.720 yeah only the elite only the very very very very elite and it all comes down to the way that they're

00:39:17.260 utilizing these big companies i mean the major league baseball thing is the highest profile right

00:39:21.740 now as they've pulled out of the all-star game in the draft like people are really excited about that

00:39:25.780 mlb draft uh that was apparently happening in atlanta um was that in atlanta too the major league

00:39:33.240 baseball draft i guess yeah i guess and that's already been pulled it's been pulled okay but it's

00:39:36.920 like well i don't know if you know this but like the braves still play there yeah why would it matter

00:39:42.740 to take an all-star game out that by the way they're trying to figure out whether they should

00:39:47.120 even continue it people don't want to watch it they can't get anybody to pay attention to it

00:39:50.960 this has been a situation through all the sports with all-star games and they so they pull that out

00:39:55.900 they pull the draft out that no one cares about in baseball i mean unless you happen to have a person

00:40:00.000 you know it's like 89 rounds or something it's like that a thing you said they've drafted me last

00:40:05.780 year they did congratulations in the 83rd round yeah milwaukee brewer yes congratulations to pat

00:40:10.460 but it's like that all goes on and they have a team playing 81 home games in georgia you know like

00:40:18.720 they have not to mention play teams all over the country in in states with more restrictive laws

00:40:24.580 than georgia they you know they are they are a company that does all sorts of business overseas

00:40:30.440 with governments that that believe in far less democracy than we do here yeah i love the thing now

00:40:36.720 about uh so are you are you gonna pull the olympics out of out of china as well are you gonna ask the

00:40:43.620 u.s olympic committee to pull the u.s team out of china since they have more restrictive laws than

00:40:50.120 georgia does it's like it's just none of this is real it's not real it's hard to even have a logical 0.99

00:40:56.320 conversation about it because it's so fake it's just all so fake and so stupid amazing 0.99

00:41:02.260 first of all uh here's an uncomfortable question for you how many times a day would you say that 0.99

00:41:09.140 you pick up your phone and scroll through facebook for like 10 minutes if you're being honest it's

00:41:13.500 probably not zero in fact it's uh probably several times uh no judgment here i know it's difficult

00:41:19.580 um to you know to see all those food pictures you gotta get to them you gotta know what did that

00:41:23.880 next person eat i don't know uh but you have the time if you're doing that every day you have the

00:41:28.400 time to call american financing if you're paying four percent or more on your mortgage you're

00:41:32.220 overpaying and you can get that credit card debt which is way more than four percent i'm sure

00:41:36.660 uh you can get rid of that as well what kind of percentage are they charging you uh well look if

00:41:41.260 you are a homeowner you can solve these problems pretty easily by refinancing your mortgage and the

00:41:46.340 people at american financing are the ones that can walk you through what that might look like

00:41:49.600 they're not in it for the bank they're in it for you and they're going to be giving you the kind

00:41:53.780 of deal that can save you hundreds of dollars a month or maybe even a thousand call them today

00:41:57.500 american financing 800-906-2440 or americanfinancing.net

00:42:02.000 what you are about to hear is the fusion of entertainment

00:42:26.460 excitement and enlightenment this is the glenbeck program

00:42:34.500 hey it's a hunter biden memoir week which is exciting uh because what an upstanding citizen i want

00:42:47.040 to hear all about what he's been doing i really do and so we'll get into some of that uh he talked

00:42:54.320 to 60 minutes over the weekend fascinating in a way uh that and lots more coming up in 60 seconds

00:43:02.520 the glenbeck program all right well i'm going to tell you about our sponsor it is a relief factor

00:43:13.640 um relief factor of course is uh you know something that glenn has used for a long time this is not a

00:43:20.120 new he's not new to this game uh for relief factor it's one of those things where he had

00:43:25.200 constant pain constant pain and it was an issue that he was dealing with all the time and he would

00:43:32.500 go and he'd try to do basic things uh he's a big painter if you don't know that um and he let you

00:43:37.060 go to paint you know it's not like a painting is it's not like a triathlon you know you're trying

00:43:41.840 it's just holding a brush and going back and forth uh he couldn't even do things like that he would go to

00:43:46.740 his ranch his you know where he would you know we always we always talk about glenn as a fake rancher

00:43:51.060 because he goes there and he does like the outdoorsy thing for the 12 minutes until he gets

00:43:55.740 bored with it and then uh and then goes back in the house and you know watches netflix but he

00:44:00.620 couldn't even get through that period relief factor changed all that he was miserable with his back

00:44:47.900 ending citizen uh hunter biden he was uh interviewed on 60 minutes over the weekend

00:44:52.940 i can't believe he's doing press it seems ill-advised pat uh doesn't it though

00:44:57.300 yeah hide they're hiding your dad he's the president of the united states why are you out

00:45:02.380 in the press right you can't get him to do a freaking press conference we're getting stuff

00:45:05.400 from hunter yeah and he's he's the he's the surviving son that joe biden never talks about

00:45:12.760 it's always it's always about bow yeah and uh and so it's kind of it's kind of sad in a way um

00:45:21.420 although i think he got himself into a lot of this stuff but uh he was talking about the laptop

00:45:26.600 over the weekend it on 60 minutes and you know it just may be that that was hacked by russians

00:45:36.720 or chinese or mongolians i'm not sure who hacked it but somebody might have hacked it uh here's what

00:45:44.720 he was talking about it's on 60 minutes was that your laptop for real i don't know i know but you

00:45:49.800 know that i really don't know okay what you don't know yes or no i don't have any idea i have no idea

00:45:56.480 so could have been yours of course certainly there could be a laptop certainly yeah it might be it

00:46:01.700 could be that i was hacked it could be that that was the that it was russian intelligence could be

00:46:06.880 could be that it was stolen from martians aliens aliens could have easily been aliens could easily

00:46:12.000 easily have been plutonians yeah or martians i don't know which uh someone from the jupitorians

00:46:18.220 maybe planet zarkon saturnites could have been zarkon yeah zarkonians i think is what they like to

00:46:25.040 be called well i'm sorry from the planet zarkon yeah i was gonna say zarkon 5 okay they just call

00:46:30.440 people from zarkon they don't like the zarkonians they've been along there's a long-term war in the

00:46:34.720 solar system long story short uh it could have been a liar it could have what yeah that's what oh

00:46:41.300 that was a surprise i came out of nowhere laptops come and go i don't know where are my laptops

00:46:47.820 they could be anywhere i was walking down the street the other day bumped into a giant stack of

00:46:52.500 my own laptops they were just all over the streets how did they get there russian intelligence i don't

00:46:57.200 know it could have been anything like this is this is one of the worst answers and this is something

00:47:04.340 he's had months to prepare for yeah and this is the best you could do is maybe it was maybe it was

00:47:09.820 i don't know of course it could be i went i would i went to a swimming pool the other day it was filled

00:47:15.360 with my laptops i was just a giant swimming pool of old laptops i don't know how they got there

00:47:21.100 i have so many russian hacking yeah russian that could be russian hacking could be people from zarkon 0.90

00:47:26.120 right be zarkonians we don't know we don't know uh i mean we're canadians damn canadians could

00:47:31.860 have done this i don't know i don't know man all i know is i go through eight to ten laptops a day 0.92

00:47:37.000 and i don't know where they go they just all disappear going to various various it people's hands

00:47:43.860 who knows how they get there to an it person i just leave it there could it be mine yes i don't

00:47:50.240 know i didn't know they could fix laptops i was just turning them over i thought it was like a

00:47:55.080 substance like a toxic sludge the geek squad just ate them that's what i thought they did 0.99

00:48:02.800 that's what i thought i thought jeff fisher worked there and he just ate them when they came in they're

00:48:11.480 so crunchy i mean who could resist i mean part of it i do appreciate the fact that the question

00:48:19.880 was asked and i should i should lead with that yeah however i will say i i and i argued this during

00:48:27.320 the campaign i can understand why you would be skeptical especially if you're in the media

00:48:31.820 of like rudy giuliani coming out with a found laptop a week before an election i can understand

00:48:37.480 why there'd be skepticism on a story like that in fact the storyline of how it got to the it person

00:48:43.900 that was left there and then it like it all seemed very questionable all that being said no one ever

00:48:53.300 asked hunter biden whether it was his his laptop before the election they didn't even say like look

00:49:00.220 okay i can understand you're not going to confirm or deny every salacious detail here but can you tell

00:49:04.840 did you did you drop off a laptop at this place i mean that's a totally legitimate question that if

00:49:09.940 he says no to it at least you'd say okay well he's denying it completely they didn't even get him on

00:49:15.900 the record with a denial yeah they didn't all they said was we can't believe these tactics they kept

00:49:21.480 going back to that same well all these tactics they're just trying to make a scandal right before

00:49:26.200 the election yeah okay but did you drop it off with this guy at this address were you ever the one

00:49:31.880 that's just happens to be a couple miles from the train station you'd be getting off all the time

00:49:35.800 the one with all of your emails in it right like they keep quoting your emails how how do they how

00:49:42.380 do they do that how do they get the video of you doing things canadians deep fake well i think the

00:49:48.120 canadians were working with the russians and the mexicans and they went after my laptop and put a

00:49:55.520 whole bunch of fake emails in there hacked them right into it i mean i it's inexplicable and there's

00:50:04.120 no i mean the follow-up of like could it be yours well how about you know look they say you dropped

00:50:09.700 off a laptop forget whether this is your laptop or not did you drop one off at this place at this

00:50:15.160 address with this phone number and this business name might have been a good question like can we get

00:50:20.200 yeah and obviously of course the real reason he's not answering it is because he did and it was his

00:50:26.540 laptop and the fact that they actually were banning the new york post twitter account over a story that

00:50:33.140 obviously when you watch this interview what's true i mean we thought it was true before but obviously

00:50:39.900 this was his laptop these things were on his laptop and they just decided to ignore it

00:50:47.600 so that at the end of the day donald trump would not be president anymore i i'm not a person who

00:50:53.980 always says that but like it's clear they saw a narrative from 2016 and i you know i read enough

00:50:59.800 it's my job to read the left-wing media so you don't have to and i read enough left-wing media to see

00:51:05.160 they had constant complaints for the four years of the donald trump presidency that they believed again

00:51:12.100 this is insane but i'm gonna lay it out for you they believe they were too tough on hillary

00:51:17.580 clinton in the in the campaign they believe they gave too much oxygen to various scandals like the

00:51:23.900 email scandal and they believe the reason hillary clinton lost was kind of their fault because they

00:51:30.600 they decided to be in their view honest and cover these emerging scandals that were being talked about

00:51:38.140 and and that were out there like the email scandal and so they believe this time we can't let that happen

00:51:44.240 again and you some of them talked about it outwardly that like when when the when the right

00:51:50.460 comes up with their scandal last minute we need to ignore it because last time we did it and look

00:51:54.500 what happened that is the way they viewed 2016 so in 2020 so when this came up for him they did

00:52:01.240 exactly what they said they were going to do for four years completely ignore it and not even try to vet

00:52:07.240 whether it was a real scandal or not and now here we are a year after six months after the election

00:52:12.100 and they are now admitting that they should have been asking those questions why are they asking them

00:52:18.820 now why are they bothering with it now now that the guy's already president of the united states now

00:52:24.240 you're going to ask the question about the laptop they were so invested in removing donald trump

00:52:29.560 with any means necessary that they just intentionally ignored this they did they they talked about it

00:52:37.240 they admitted it and they executed that uh way of doing business without shame without shame

00:52:48.360 and here we see that obviously the ramifications of that is it worked donald trump isn't president

00:52:54.700 anymore so you know that that's going to be their plan every time now you gotta believe it they're

00:52:58.540 just going to ignore any scandal uh that is coming from the left they just won't pay any attention to

00:53:05.020 it they won't give it any oxygen uh it did work this time it's hard to argue with that they didn't

00:53:11.080 talk about they didn't talk about hunter biden at all in fact they made it a conspiracy theory

00:53:17.600 if you believed anything was wrong with him that he did anything wrong in ukraine or china or this

00:53:23.960 laptop thing if you believe any of it it was just a big conspiracy theory well

00:53:28.400 now all of a sudden they're starting to look into some of it and they're finding out that the 0.97

00:53:32.460 guy's a bald-faced liar and a drug addict who maybe he doesn't remember because he was so drug 0.96

00:53:39.840 addled maybe maybe he doesn't know because he was so wiped out on drugs he he admitted that he relapsed 1.00

00:53:48.360 as as late as during the campaign last year during the campaign and this sucks man i mean this is a 0.77

00:53:54.680 tough thing for anybody to deal with and and i'm sure it is you know again i'm sure it's hard for 0.95

00:53:59.320 joe biden to deal with his son is a disaster yeah his son is a disaster and that's not easy to deal

00:54:04.320 with but it is it is easy for the media to deal with something like this and this is a guy who is

00:54:09.080 returning rental cars with lines of drugs still on the dashboard on it and do your drugs when you rent

00:54:15.720 a car well all the drugs a line or two for uh for the nice rental company people like a tip

00:54:21.400 yeah like a tip i left you snort whatever's on the dashboard lines of coke there so enjoy that

00:54:27.260 won't you he's had a really tough time he's been impregnating strippers all around the nation

00:54:31.540 exactly he's been on like the impregnate stripper tour uh he's been involved with his you know with

00:54:38.600 his brother's widow oh my gosh it really is brother's widow's sister and then the stripper in arkansas

00:54:44.880 with the baby look family family stuff can be really difficult and i and you know they've had a

00:54:50.800 kid die there really is a a rough road here for the for the biden family over the years i mean this

00:54:57.380 has been a yeah a really rough bumpy ugly road and it's not about even though at times we may mock

00:55:04.080 hunter biden it's really not about that it's about the media holding them responsible for their

00:55:09.860 criminal actions did they occur we don't know because no one asked the questions you know you

00:55:16.020 could go through peter schweizer's book and see a lot of things that i would call criminal

00:55:19.600 and they're all documented bunch of things yeah i mean not just with hunter but like the whole family

00:55:25.820 whole family stinking family his brother is another big one in that his brother his daughter yeah it's

00:55:31.860 all over the place in that family there's lots of corruption they've been using power in ways that i 0.74

00:55:36.400 don't feel comfortable with for a very long time but that is the meat the media's job is to ask those

00:55:42.500 questions and not wait till april you don't ask the question in ape i mean it's better than not asking

00:55:48.100 it at all i suppose but you don't wait till april this came out before the election this should have

00:55:53.740 been talked about and everybody on earth should have been aware of whether this was hunter biden's

00:56:00.880 laptop or not and everything that was on it and just let the american people decide then that would

00:56:05.860 have been nice yeah if the american the american people had the information and they were able to

00:56:11.200 decide whether or not it mattered to them but that's the problem they chose wrong last time yeah

00:56:15.440 and we can't let them choose again because they chose wrong last time that's the way they view this

00:56:19.560 and it is it's not a way to get you real information i'll tell you that all right uh let's talk to you

00:56:25.000 about our uh sponsor this half hour is patriot mobile uh there's nothing i love paying more than uh for

00:56:31.160 phone service than you need to i know that's a huge people just love doing it you know it's just

00:56:35.800 like just like when you have like 12 15 18 laptops a day just thrown into a swimming pool people just

00:56:41.280 love to pay more for of course their cell phone service it wasn't that long ago you didn't really

00:56:47.180 have much of a choice honestly uh there was the big few companies they had all the cell phone towers

00:56:52.080 and if you decided to go with something like you know bob's local cell phone service you're probably

00:56:56.640 going to get a pair of tin cans and string but it's not like that anymore these days everyone's

00:57:00.880 on the same towers so you have more options and the best among these options is patriot mobile

00:57:04.920 not only is it cheaper but when you make the switch a portion of your bill goes to conservative causes

00:57:09.440 and none of it goes to hunter biden's you know pocketbook or his laptops or his family corruption

00:57:15.400 scam uh this month you can get free premiere activation where they set up the phone for you and

00:57:20.240 they get you a special gift with the code beck use the code back to get the special gift the same

00:57:25.800 service a lot lower price and the values you believe in go to patriot mobile.com slash back

00:57:30.780 it's patriot mobile.com slash back or call 972 patriot it's 972 patriot for patriot mobile at

00:57:39.100 patriot mobile.com slash back 10 seconds

00:57:41.100 station it's pat and stew for glenn on the glenn beck program 888-727-BECK uh something i know you

00:57:58.540 love is high speed rail stew i think you're gonna be oh that's one of my faves happy to hear that the

00:58:03.620 federal government's serious about spending some more money on high speed rail and texas could be

00:58:09.200 among the beneficiaries the beneficiaries an interesting framing of that isn't it though

00:58:13.680 isn't it uh the recent interest in investing in bullet trains capable of going 200 miles per hour

00:58:20.380 faster because i can't imagine any kind of vehicle going faster than 200 no you wouldn't i mean like a

00:58:25.840 something that i don't know went through the air at like five off the ground yeah off the ground oh pat

00:58:32.440 what's a floating i do a floating it doesn't float it actually soars soars yeah yeah like a jet

00:58:41.120 speeds what is it gonna be like a bird you're gonna have a bird in the sky flying all over the place

00:58:46.860 yeah how would you yeah isn't that weird we already have high speed travel it's called an

00:58:52.820 airplane by the way it's cheaper a lot of times than than high speed rail where it does exist

00:59:01.080 and it's 300 miles per hour slower than the airplane yes i've noticed that as well okay so

00:59:08.380 you pay more and you get there in a longer period of time it's a trade-off really because you pay more

00:59:14.920 but you get less so it's really which one you go with there i don't know the good thing though is i

00:59:21.500 like how it stops all traffic in hundreds of points across the route that's really beneficial

00:59:28.380 yeah and like let's just say that they're a new population center uh pops up you can't get people

00:59:34.860 access to it you know when that's what a really nice benefit of it as well well unless you spend

00:59:40.480 hundreds of billions of dollars to get them access to that new place you could do that and that's what

00:59:44.780 they're gonna do and with a plane you could just of course build a big patch of of uh asphalt asphalt in

00:59:51.120 the middle of a field you could and we have and we have all over the country uh you can do that

00:59:55.960 with a plane but you know what let's go back because you know it was great late 1800s it was

01:00:00.920 fantastic what a great time doesn't make any sense i don't know why we're so envious of japan's system

01:00:10.900 do you know that they've got uh bullet trains that go 200 miles an hour so what yeah do you know we

01:00:15.600 have planes that go 500 miles an hour you know that yeah that's faster does anyone understand that

01:00:21.560 that's and like a lot faster so i we both lived in a area of the country the only place in the

01:00:28.020 country where train travel really makes even the most moderate amount of sense and it's only because

01:00:34.820 it's a very old place in the northeast and they built them back at a time where they didn't have

01:00:39.760 other types of transportation that were so easily accessible right but they're already there so they

01:00:44.360 continue to run them and you and i used to take the train in every day first of all it sucks okay

01:00:49.660 it's not a fun experience it's not at all i don't know like people think this you know they watched

01:00:53.800 polar express once and they think it's fun it's not fun tom hanks isn't there he never shows up

01:00:59.360 he never grants wishes that's disappointing it's not it really isn't fun and you don't wind up at

01:01:05.660 the north pole no no no wind up at penn station which is like wait i don't want to be here no it's

01:01:12.340 terrible uh and you know it's not this like romantic experience and people are like oh man imagine 0.91

01:01:18.640 just taking a train across the country and seeing all that scenery yeah if that sucks that's dumb 0.94

01:01:22.980 you shouldn't go through the worst parts of town it goes the worst parts of everywhere it goes to 0.89

01:01:27.320 the worst parts of town and it also you're going when it is going 200 miles an hour you can't see

01:01:32.660 any scenery now it doesn't ever go 200 miles an hour we should be clear they built the acela uh on

01:01:38.960 existing lines which is again the only reason it even came close to making sense and still like it goes

01:01:44.900 top speed for like 10 miles on the route between boston and washington you know and this is the

01:01:51.060 issue with high-speed rail the biggest issue about high-speed rail is all the people advocating for it

01:01:55.280 live in this corridor this new york to washington corridor yeah and so they're constantly on the

01:02:00.980 train between media visits and and congress they're going back and forth and back and forth obviously

01:02:06.420 as everyone knows joe biden took amtrak every day uh back to delaware and now he's president so

01:02:13.260 now trains are trains are an ancient technology they they don't work i mean this is the same thing

01:02:20.060 with with um with light rail which is another thing that cities love to do we're going to build

01:02:25.700 light rail and we're going to build it all over the place and people are going to love it they're

01:02:29.900 going to ride it like crazy and as without exception without exception these play these light rail

01:02:35.960 systems hemorrhage money and cost tons of people who never ride them a lot of money because they're

01:02:42.620 all subsidized and then people who are driving on the other side of the city and never even come

01:02:48.940 close to a station that's a for light rail they wind up paying for the you know young professional

01:02:56.300 who wants to go out drinking until 2 a.m and doesn't want to have to get an uber now of course remember

01:03:01.500 light rail was dumb forever now with uber it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever yeah and they're

01:03:09.980 going to continue to pour money into it on this idea that it's going to help the climate which it is 0.61

01:03:14.140 not it doesn't help the climate it doesn't do any of the things promised you mean with the exception of

01:03:19.380 dart right the dallas area rapid transit which i saw three people on it in the last probably six

01:03:26.500 months combined combined not on one train no not on one train that would be ridiculous that would be

01:03:30.700 ridiculous come on this is the glenbeck program so your dog doesn't know the difference between

01:03:41.640 healthy and unhealthy food they'll eat whatever they can get their hands on or paws on but your 0.92

01:03:47.080 dog's body does understand that difference when you're feeding him dry kibble food for instance

01:03:51.260 his body is telling him that everything he's eating is dead because kibble food has to be sterilized for a

01:03:56.420 long shelf life the dog's body knows that it's missing out on key things that it needs like

01:04:01.620 vitamins and minerals and probiotics and antioxidants all the all those fancy things that are healthy and

01:04:07.240 i never probably eat uh but it's stuff you need to be healthy and happier so your dog needs it as well

01:04:12.280 a lot of cases uh this is you know glenn's dog uh uno just wouldn't want to eat anything at all

01:04:17.860 which is strange because it's a very scary dog uh the guy uh we've talked about before uh dennis black

01:04:24.380 he's a doctor he decided to take this problem on and created a product called the rough greens it's

01:04:28.960 not a dog food it's a supplement that you sprinkle on top of the dog food and the dogs go crazy for it

01:04:33.240 they want to eat they they're getting all the healthy stuff that they actually need uh check it

01:04:38.400 out if you get a free bag right now of rough greens uh to your dog or uh you know i mean this all you

01:04:43.520 have to do is pay for shipping on it go to rough greens.com slash back or call 833 glenn 33 it's 833 0.52

01:05:09.440 uh so looking at this vaccine situation in florida has been fascinating to watch

01:05:17.020 60 minutes ran a big expose and it's clear now the media has decided ron de santis is a front

01:05:24.700 runner for president in 2024 this is now they're just doing anything they can to sink this guy at

01:05:30.860 this point they've decided they need to make sure they take him down before he can get started

01:05:36.400 because and you look at de santis who's a guy who's elected in very narrow election in florida

01:05:41.340 very close election and has seemingly done really well i mean it's really hard to to look at his

01:05:47.360 performance and say anything other than that they they kept things largely open they sort of led the

01:05:54.240 country and you know we should be clear here they they didn't exactly they had a mass mandate but they

01:06:00.120 lifted it in september where it took texas just did it you know a couple weeks ago uh you know they

01:06:05.620 they leaned freedom let's put it that way they leaned freedom when dealing with the coronavirus and

01:06:10.680 with a very elderly population one of the oldest populations in america finished sort of the middle

01:06:16.480 of the pack for for covid results as far as deaths per million and many other measures which is

01:06:23.080 impressive i mean i remember when florida's first started having an outbreak early on in miami and

01:06:29.200 and in other areas and it was thought to be like this is going to be really bad because they do have an

01:06:33.640 older population and if this starts spreading like crazy the most vulnerable people are going to be

01:06:38.060 very vulnerable well it didn't wind up turning out that way and florida performed really well

01:06:42.760 and desantis you know i've heard him uh discussed as a professionalized trump right where he does a lot

01:06:50.980 of the things trump does but you know donald trump for for all the things he does really well was also

01:06:57.060 very interested in like calling people on msnbc ugly right like that's not what ron desantis does he's

01:07:03.820 he's he's he loves mixing it up with the media he goes back and forth with them all the time but

01:07:08.920 it's usually more about issues rather than you know people's appearances and the sort of stuff that

01:07:13.540 like trump as an entertainer trump as a media personality got into a lot people like desantis

01:07:18.560 because he brings a lot of the same policies a lot of the same things to the table but he doesn't

01:07:23.440 he doesn't go down those those sort of outlier role roads that would make that made a lot of even

01:07:28.920 trump voters uncomfortable a lot of the tweeting yeah he you know he doesn't he doesn't participate

01:07:34.100 in and it's not like he's like understated desantis likes to mix it up but he usually is doing it based

01:07:41.460 on issues of governance where trump you know a lot of times obviously was much more interested or you

01:07:47.200 know as interested in just mixing it up and fighting with the media you know desantis likes him fighting

01:07:52.460 with the media but he's usually doing it over something some sort of policy thing so this happened

01:07:56.480 was 60 minutes over the weekend this is let me give you this clip this is uh they're trying to

01:08:01.000 figure out basically why ron desantis used publics which is a big grocery store chain in florida as a

01:08:10.360 distribution center for the vaccine now if you've ever lived in florida this would strike you as like

01:08:16.680 super obvious like there's a publics on every corner of every street in between if you are on a

01:08:23.960 residential street and there's six houses on it the last lot is filled with the publics that's how

01:08:28.840 it works in florida which is a grocery store right it's a grocery store yeah it's like a kroger or

01:08:34.200 albertson's yep just it's just really dominant in florida really dominant in florida no very well

01:08:41.320 known for their very uh very good sub sub sandwiches uh that uh certainly didn't add to my weight gain while

01:08:48.040 living uh in florida and there's one right across the corner from 970 wfla our tampa affiliate

01:08:52.740 and we would go there i mean i'm pretty sure that's mostly what's responsible for jeffy's

01:08:57.900 size was the the proximity of that publics to 970 wfla so here is a 60 minutes with a i mean they dug

01:09:07.000 deep on this one we can't get hunter biden to be asked a question about his laptop before the election

01:09:11.120 but they dug deep into this ron desantis publics controversy this weekend let's listen so why did the

01:09:17.240 governor choose publics campaign finance reports obtained by 60 minute show that weeks before the

01:09:23.300 governor's announcement what publics donated a hundred thousand dollars to his political action

01:09:28.380 committee whoa friends of ron desantis oh my gosh julie jenkins fancelli heiress to the public's fortune

01:09:34.660 has given 55 000 to the governor's pack in the past and in november fancelli's brother-in-law

01:09:41.460 hoyt r barnett a retired publics executive donated 25 000 oh my god publics did not respond to our

01:09:49.020 request for comment about the donations governor desantis is up for re-election next year oh i

01:09:55.420 imagine governor desantis's office would say look we privatize the rollout because it's more efficient

01:10:01.700 and it works better it hasn't worked better for people of color that's true before i could call 0.97

01:10:08.720 the public health director she would answer my calls but now oh if i want to get my constituents 0.99

01:10:15.700 information about how to get this vaccine i have to call a lobbyist from publics that makes no sense

01:10:20.980 they're not accountable to the public distributing vaccines is lucrative under federal guidelines

01:10:27.440 publics like any other private company can charge medicare 40 a shot to administer the vaccine

01:10:34.180 okay there is so much packed into that clip it could take us a whole show to go through

01:10:39.280 first of all the idea that ron desantis is district choosing how to distribute the vaccine based on

01:10:47.580 100 000 of donations hey that's what split over multiple years like this is insanity why on earth

01:10:56.920 would he care about that 100 million maybe that's influencing him a little bit but a hundred thousand

01:11:03.500 dollars big deal now of course as and this has been talked about by public health officials for a

01:11:10.500 very long time in that if you put if you put the vaccine availability in places that people are

01:11:15.560 familiar with and go to off often anyway they're more likely to get it right like if you need to go to

01:11:20.920 the what did he say oh before i could go to the public health director and they'd answer my calls

01:11:24.520 well who not mine right i've never talked to a public health director before it's much easier

01:11:30.580 publics is much more accountable to me than a public health director they don't even know they

01:11:35.480 don't know who i am i go to publics i go and i buy food there they have to keep their customers happy

01:11:40.120 they are very accountable to the people and people are in there all the time are going to see signs for

01:11:45.120 hey you can get the vaccine here i mean you know every year when the flu vaccine and i'm somebody who

01:11:50.060 gets the flu vaccine typically usually what happens is i'm in cvs and i see the sign i'm like oh yeah i

01:11:56.200 was supposed to get that i might as well get it now that's usually how i get it because i'm just there

01:12:00.700 and i'm like i remember that it's there and i so i go and get the flu vaccine now again this is

01:12:06.240 something that is non-controversial cvs is distributing the vaccines for covid all across the country

01:12:13.900 walgreens is doing it why are they doing it that way well people go into those places it's not like

01:12:19.460 it's not like trying to like if you have to file a government form like to change your address or

01:12:24.840 or to um to the typical stuff that you have to go to town hall for even sometimes to register to vote

01:12:32.280 or one of those things it's much more arduous than going to the place you go to all the time i never

01:12:37.780 know where to go you go in the you go in the town hall there's all these different buildings they

01:12:41.300 all have none of it's none of it's self-explanatory it's always a difficult process to deal with

01:12:46.660 government so instead they put them in walgreens you just walk up there and say hey uh you know

01:12:51.640 my appointments today get the shot get some you know hostess products and walk out because those 0.93

01:12:58.000 are healthy so completely understandable and happening all over the nation florida is not the

01:13:03.920 only one that is distributing vaccine this way in major consumer centers that's what the concept is

01:13:11.180 go to a place where people are already you don't have to spend millions of dollars advertising

01:13:16.200 because they're gonna walk by the signs all the time so this goes on uh they they they try to

01:13:21.400 lock down desantis on this obvious scandal which is just completely we're just getting outrageous

01:13:29.760 sums of money from these people yeah a hundred thousand dollars oh we should also mention when

01:13:33.800 he goes oh it's not working for people of color if you don't know uh public's it's a whites only 0.94

01:13:38.320 grocery store yeah they do not realize that was legal yeah no yeah they do not allow black people 1.00

01:13:44.040 inside of public's dang uh bastards why why you do black people i know they can't get ids they 1.00

01:13:53.140 apparently can't get to grocery stores either well no they all live in food deserts food deserts 1.00

01:13:57.860 found that out from michelle that's right which by the way is not uh accurate either we went around

01:14:04.020 texas this is back in when i was doing a show i loved oh there's such a great when you were doing

01:14:10.380 the food deserts in dallas it's called we did a segment called deserted and it was on the show

01:14:15.640 i did on for the blaze called the wonderful world of stew which is a weekly show so we get to have a

01:14:19.180 little more time to do uh production on these things so we would go out on the field and i would go

01:14:23.980 i would find food deserts in in texas they were actually designated designated as such and then i would

01:14:30.760 go visit all the grocery stores inside the food desert because without fail they would always have

01:14:36.840 not just one but multiple grocery stores inside what they call the food desert unbelievable and

01:14:43.660 it just these are just straight out lies they would say that you know they have because they put out a

01:14:47.900 map they said this is where all the food deserts are and i'm like i'm standing in one i went to one

01:14:52.440 that had a um a target superstore was a full grocery store inside a walmart superstore with an entire

01:15:00.760 grocery store uh store inside a sam's club which has lots of the same types of things uh and and

01:15:08.100 an eatsies which is like more of a i don't know like a craft sort of grocery store that has you know

01:15:14.040 it's not a grocery store it has some prepared foods but it has like a mix of things but you couldn't get

01:15:17.780 like fresh produce at any of those places all of them i think you get fresh produce at all of them

01:15:22.000 and what and like some of the some of the places didn't have like you know unhealthy processed snack

01:15:30.040 foods like eatsies wouldn't have something like that but you could get that at target walmart would

01:15:35.440 target would yeah uh so all these things and they were it's a it's like a i can't be more than a

01:15:40.200 a square mile for sure it's much less than that i mean these are things that like you could drive

01:15:45.900 to all four of these places within three minutes they're that close to each other and they're inside

01:15:51.260 the food desert and so we went and visited them and we're like look we can't find any produce here

01:15:55.820 and so that's all over the place which is of course why they don't talk about food deserts anymore i

01:16:00.100 guess not because there really aren't any not in america look if you're in the middle of nowhere in a

01:16:05.800 rural area like sometimes maybe that's the case but that's not the way they they that's not that's

01:16:11.160 not how they define it no they're talking about urban areas where you can't get fresh food and the

01:16:15.820 idea once again is these evil corporations don't like minorities so they don't put grocery stores near

01:16:20.140 minorities apparently the minority money is not effective to as a as a incentive they don't want

01:16:26.080 it which is ridiculous these places are all over the place they're all over the place they don't

01:16:30.960 care where their money comes from no they don't care they don't care uh so here is uh ron desantis 0.77

01:16:36.580 uh they're trying to trap him on this we know the reason why you gave these vaccines

01:16:41.400 to publics is because of this listen to this cliff it's amazing we wanted to ask governor desantis

01:16:47.880 about the deal but he declined our request for an interview oh no we caught up with him south of

01:16:53.240 orlando publics as you know donated a hundred thousand dollars to your campaign and then you

01:16:58.820 rewarded them with the exclusive rights to distribute the vaccination so first of all that what you're

01:17:04.460 saying is wrong how is that not paid that's a fake narrative i met with the county mayor i met with

01:17:09.240 the administrator i met with all the folks at palm beach county and i said here's some of the options

01:17:13.980 we can do more drive-through sites we can give more to hospitals we can do the publics and they

01:17:19.020 said we think that would be the easiest thing for our residents but melissa mckinlay the county

01:17:23.980 commissioner in the glades told us the governor never met with her about the public's deal

01:17:29.200 it's wrong it's wrong it's a fake narrative i just disabused you of the narrative and you don't

01:17:36.420 care about the facts because obviously i laid it out for you in a way that is irrefutable and so it's

01:17:41.920 clearly not isn't there no no no you're wrong you're wrong you're wrong yes that's actually a

01:17:46.680 fact okay so this is first of all you could see the the trump the white white trump fans like

01:17:52.320 desantis like he doesn't care he's just gonna freaking fire back at you over these things uh

01:17:56.540 of course they also edited that clip i don't know if we have do we have full time to run this let's

01:18:00.480 just let's listen to some of this this is the full uh clip and the exchange with desantis much of

01:18:05.860 this hit the cutting room floor on 60 minutes here's the initial question

01:18:10.800 about 100 000 so first of all that what you're saying is wrong that's that that's a fake narrative

01:18:20.320 so first of all when we did the the first pharmacies that had it were cvs and walgreens

01:18:25.800 and they had a long-term care mission so they were going to the long-term care facilities they got

01:18:31.200 vaccine in the middle of december they started going to the long-term care facilities the third

01:18:36.380 week of december to do ltc's so that was their mission that was very important and we trusted

01:18:41.960 them to do that as we got into january we wanted to expand the distribution points so yes you had the

01:18:48.320 counties you had some drive-through sites you had hospitals that were doing a lot but we wanted to get

01:18:53.220 it into communities more so we reached out to other retail pharmacies publics walmart

01:18:58.060 obviously cvs and walgreens had to finish that mission and we said we're going to we're going to

01:19:02.880 use you as soon as you're done with that for the publics they were the first one to raise their

01:19:07.100 hands say they were ready to go and you know what we did it on a trial basis i had three counties i

01:19:12.660 actually showed up that weekend and talked to seniors across four different publics how was the

01:19:17.680 experience is this good should you think this is the way to go and it was a hundred percent positive

01:19:22.400 so we expanded it and then folks liked it and i can tell you if you look at a place like

01:19:27.740 palm beach county they were kind of struggling at first in terms of the senior numbers i went i met

01:19:33.900 with the county mayor i met with the administrator i met with all the folks at palm beach county and i

01:19:38.020 said here's some of the options we can do more drive-through sites we can give more to hospitals

01:19:43.000 we can do the publics we can do this backup they calculated that 90 percent of their seniors live

01:19:48.760 within a mile and a half of a publics 90 percent they said we think that would be the easiest thing

01:19:52.880 for our residents so we did that and what ended up happening was you had 65 publics in palm beach

01:19:58.600 palm beach is one of the biggest counties one of the most elderly counties we've done almost 75 percent

01:20:04.700 of the seniors in palm beach and the reason is because you so well so first of all two things you

01:20:09.400 take from this number one he doesn't go from zero to arguing with her at all she's he explains it very

01:20:15.440 calmly she keeps firing back and eventually it escalates they only put that part in they skip the part

01:20:20.480 where it's 90 of people live within a mile of a public which is an incredible statistic yeah uh

01:20:27.020 they skip all of that and they make it look like he was uh giving this just to publics for these

01:20:32.920 donations when as he lays out clearly cbs and walgreens had it first and by the way they still

01:20:41.240 have it so if you don't have a publics nearby you have a cbs or walgreens most likely it really is i

01:20:47.600 mean the media just they don't even care anymore they're not even trying but a ridiculous segment

01:20:50.960 from 60 minutes all right i want to paint you a picture of peace of mind if you're planning to buy

01:20:59.000 or sell a home in the near future or both this is especially for you your real estate agent comes to

01:21:03.720 the door comes in sits down with you you talk for a little bit about the house what your goals are

01:21:09.080 what's realistic what's not all of that then he pulls out his phone and a piece of paper and proceeds

01:21:13.680 to pull up the names of every single person you're going to need to get the job done and done right

01:21:17.820 knows all the best people and writes them down for you and you realize and not for the last time in

01:21:22.100 this process that you didn't just get a real estate agent you got a partner someone who's going to see

01:21:26.540 this thing through all the way and make sure that you get the best possible outcome that's what glenn

01:21:32.840 envisioned when he created realestateagentsitrust.com it's his company and that's what we have today in

01:21:39.080 fact it's much bigger and much better than it was even at the start realestateagentsitrust.com

01:21:53.760 you're listening to the glenn back program there's a great movie out called roe versus weight

01:22:00.580 the movie it's a gripping film with uh actors like john voight stacy dash uh i mean steve gutenberg's

01:22:07.100 that's awesome uh corbin bernson uh it's shocking to see how planned parenthood manipulated the courts

01:22:12.640 and lied to the media you might know a little bit about the story but you probably don't know the

01:22:16.360 whole backstory it was it really was a crazy time there's so much more uh involved in this than a

01:22:21.160 court case it really was a conspiracy with corruption going all the way to the supreme court

01:22:26.040 roe versus wade is the uh is the most famous court decision probably in american history we've all

01:22:31.460 heard about it but few of us know the real story the left has done everything in their power to

01:22:36.200 prevent you from seeing this film big tech targeting conservatives uh the film really

01:22:40.840 could get canceled so you better see it while it's still out there it's available right now at least

01:22:45.200 on itunes amazon and google play or you can see uh on demand uh from your major cable or satellite

01:22:50.860 carriers uh after half century of lies secrecy uh we gotta get this out in the open download roe v

01:22:58.220 wade the movie today roe v wade the movie today check it out radio show starts here in a second

01:23:03.460 what you are about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment

01:23:49.900 these evil states who have taken off the mask mandates they need to put them back they need to

01:23:55.560 i mean things are getting completely out of control again uh we will show you a pastor

01:24:03.220 who was a little upset with police in calgary showing up at his church

01:24:10.200 and hassling people there who weren't wearing masks we'll get into that coming up in 60 seconds

01:24:15.920 the glenn back program here's a nice thought what if you didn't have to worry 24 7 about the

01:24:25.800 likelihood of some cyber criminal finding and stealing your information online it's hard to

01:24:30.500 imagine because that really is our reality at this point and cyber crime has really gone through

01:24:35.480 the roof since the coronavirus thing started with lifelock though you really can help uh yourself

01:24:41.860 with having some serious peace of mind it's important to understand how cyber crime and

01:24:45.780 identity theft are affecting our lives your identity is what makes you you and it's what

01:24:50.980 gives you credibility in the world it's worth protecting from these cyber criminals who want

01:25:37.300 it's pat and stew for glenn on the glenn beck program by the way uh again you could really uh use your

01:25:53.700 thoughts and prayers on behalf of glenn and his family today uh he's got a family emergency he's

01:25:58.300 dealing with um maybe all this week and so if uh if you could direct some thoughts and prayers to him

01:26:07.040 and his family that would be great and very much appreciate it 888-727-BECK it is uh pat and stew for

01:26:14.380 glenn uh on the mask mandate in texas i think a lot of people are surprised that our numbers continue to

01:26:23.300 trend down yes since the mask mandate being pulled uh we've gone down another 37 percent in infections

01:26:31.120 and hospitalizations which you mean it's pretty good up no it's actually down down 37 percent down

01:26:38.000 37 down 37 percent 20 i just was reading over the weekend though that 25 states i think had their

01:26:45.380 numbers go up a little bit they spiked somewhat yeah it does seem like there is we had this really

01:26:51.020 big decrease nationally from over the past few months partially as vaccines started but i don't know how

01:26:58.960 much you can you can really put on that case i think you can look at that from elderly people

01:27:03.800 because there is a really significant percentage of elderly people uh who have been vaccinated now

01:27:08.560 it's over 70 percent of uh elderly people have at least first shots uh so that's a lot it's helping 1.00

01:27:14.860 with the death numbers though the case numbers are are they basically plateaued at about the level of

01:27:20.140 the the summer lull before we had that uh which was how many many is that uh give me one second

01:27:26.220 here i can i can give you that number because basically we had a if you think of of the way

01:27:30.920 we've dealt with this thing since the beginning there's been that first wave right where everything

01:27:34.220 was going crazy we didn't have any tests and it was basically new york new jersey

01:27:37.860 california there's some in california some in detroit new orleans got hit pretty hard that first wave but

01:27:43.800 it was mostly a northeast wave if you want to call it that and that was uh that had the are you looking

01:27:49.100 for cases or deaths deaths let's just do deaths because they're much easier to actually look at

01:27:53.180 um and because there was no testing in that first wave at all yeah but you got to about 2 000 deaths

01:27:58.460 a day a little over 2 000 deaths a day in that first wave then it came down to around about 600

01:28:04.780 deaths per day as it came down off of that first wave rose back up in the second wave which would

01:28:10.460 you think of florida texas arizona that rose up to about a thousand a day came back down to about

01:28:17.180 700 a day before this last wave that we had that was really not nearly as intense in any location

01:28:23.880 but was much more widespread it was like a it was not nearly as bad in new york for example

01:28:30.320 yeah um than it was in that first wave it wasn't didn't it get to 4 000 a day but that one got up to

01:28:35.700 particular point yeah it got up to about it did hit 4 000 in individual days the average got to about

01:28:41.500 3 500 okay since so since then that was a end of january it's come all the way down to 833

01:28:49.520 so from 35 we're down about 75 cases that's significant stunning yeah i mean it's been wow

01:28:56.820 yeah same thing with cases uh from about 250 000 cases a day at the peak in that third wave we're now

01:29:03.400 down to about 60 000 cases a day which is about where we were which found you would say that's

01:29:09.800 that exact about too high right he would say too high but yeah it's about the lull we had

01:29:14.020 in between the second and third wave of this so it was a point where we were looking at this and

01:29:20.160 saying okay you know we're we've done well at this point we're not all the way down to maybe where we

01:29:25.240 would like to be but we've done well now since since let's say the beginning of march we've basically

01:29:33.040 that decreases stopped we've hit a plateau at about 60 000 a day give or take okay so we have

01:29:39.780 dropped to like 50 or 40 right we have just stayed at 60 the drop went pretty straight down

01:29:45.840 and then is leveled off about this area yeah now the good thing is uh deaths continue to drop we

01:29:50.820 don't know if that's going to continue but it would make sense that it continues considering

01:29:54.400 we are now uh vaccinating so many older people this is sort of the approach if you remember pat 0.51

01:30:00.160 back in the early days of the pandemic there were sort of two competing approaches you had the

01:30:04.200 left-wing approach which was like lock everything down no one goes outside at all basically unless

01:30:08.460 you're you know unless you're a doctor right yeah only doctors on the roads was their plan

01:30:13.700 um you know i'm exaggerating a little bit but not that much and then there was the conservative

01:30:17.700 idea which was hey we realize this hits people it's really really bad for older people and not as

01:30:24.540 bad for younger people so what if like the younger people went out and were able to do what they

01:30:30.180 could do take basic steps you know social distancing or whatever you know wash your hands a lot do the

01:30:34.400 basics but we can keep the economy chugging as much as possible and we really do kind of lock down on

01:30:39.920 older people uh you know so they they you know nursing homes for example aren't getting tons of

01:30:45.160 visitors right we don't import known covid positive patients into nursing homes like andrew cuomo was

01:30:51.060 doing that was an interesting idea from conservatives um but we've kind of now achieved largely that

01:30:58.320 vision right now which is we have 75 percent of sick people 65 plus have at least had one shot

01:31:05.760 now one shot will get you to about 80 percent effectiveness uh with pfizer and moderna which is

01:31:12.120 pretty good which is pretty good i mean it's much 80 is way better than they thought they were going to

01:31:16.140 do with these things at the beginning yeah they were hoping to get to 50 so they got to 80 with just

01:31:20.640 one shot the um astrazeneca in the uk is the mainly their chosen vaccine there and they're only doing

01:31:27.940 one shot right now they're not even going for for the 90 90 effectiveness with the second shot

01:31:32.960 there's like let's get as many people as we can to get one shot so if you think of it that way that

01:31:37.280 it's largely effective anyway 75 already have it over 55 of the of the 65 plus population is fully

01:31:45.180 vaccinated in this country already it's really really fast so we're doing 3 million vaccinations a day a day

01:31:52.480 now that's incredible point oh eight that's really that really is good it is really really good and so

01:31:58.140 this is largely by the way we should point out largely because of the trump administration right

01:32:03.140 uh in conjunction with with uh big pharmaceutical companies the other evil thing and capitalism

01:32:10.200 those three things working together getting something that has never ever been seen before in human

01:32:18.020 history this vaccine program how fast they came up with them how many they got how effective they

01:32:23.480 are yeah how little side effects there have been yeah it's absolutely incredible it's a miracle it

01:32:29.540 really is it really is and i mean maybe you don't want to get it but that's still a miracle and that

01:32:34.120 is fine that's just as important here by the way freedom is really important if you don't want to

01:32:37.740 take the vaccine you shouldn't have to take the vaccine exactly no exceptions to that for me i mean

01:32:42.580 like if you if you think i don't want to get the vaccine because i don't like needles

01:32:46.420 you shouldn't have to get the vaccine if you won't don't want to get the vaccine because

01:32:50.300 you don't trust it you just don't trust publics and ron desantis and the way they distributed the

01:32:55.680 vaccine near the sub shop that's fine too that's really really important uh and people get really

01:33:01.500 sensitive because they feel as if the government's going to come in and mandate it we have not seen

01:33:05.880 that yet but you know people are very uh on top of the passports thing there's all these threats

01:33:11.540 of people coercing you to do this the product is good enough to just be out there it's just

01:33:17.740 believe in your product a little bit you got you came up with something really great it's working

01:33:22.340 really well around the world yeah and just believe that people are going to want to not get the

01:33:27.720 coronavirus and to have and to have not one but what four vaccines yeah that are widely in use right

01:33:36.480 now yeah between pfizer moderna johnson and johnson and astro zeneca yeah natural zeneca is not approved

01:33:43.640 here yet but it is uh in other parts of the world but i mean that's incredible when before the the

01:33:50.640 the data i heard is that the fastest vaccine ever developed was 10 years yep i think it was measles

01:33:57.980 there's one i think was it mumps or something that was i had heard four years on there's some

01:34:03.020 conflicting information as to what the record was at least four times what it took this time and i

01:34:08.800 love look i love the superhero american story of the development of this vaccine i love it too um

01:34:14.120 but i will say you know look mrna technology had been been worked on for 40 years you know they've

01:34:19.700 been working on coronaviruses generally and mrna for seven years because we've seen a lot of

01:34:25.380 coronaviruses they had a really good head start on this people talk about oh they just they rushed it

01:34:29.240 through well they had a really good they've been doing research it was a top line research

01:34:33.000 issue and i think maybe the most exciting part of all of this is that this technology this general

01:34:40.580 it's like a platform and so when they came up with a new variant right when these new variants have

01:34:45.700 come out they've been able to adjust and add and come out with booster shots in weeks because it's

01:34:51.280 just like it's just they just need to tweak it's not it's a totally different way of coming up with

01:34:55.440 vaccines it's not like the old school way so uh the good thing about this is it could i think it's

01:35:00.040 going to do incredible things for other long-term things that people have struggled with other

01:35:06.040 diseases that people have struggled with and that's really great if that's the way this goes

01:35:11.140 but like we should point out that the trump administration is if you want to have political

01:35:16.740 fingers to be pointed should be pointed to the trump administration they are the ones that

01:35:22.680 shepherded this process through it may very well be looked back at as the best thing he did as

01:35:28.080 president they're the ones who provided the money yeah they provided the money they they they fast

01:35:34.100 tracked they got rid of a lot of red tape like people are oh they they rushed the vaccine through

01:35:38.580 well they fast tracked the the red tape yeah and that is like it's that's what gets in the way we

01:35:43.840 could be much more innovative but the fda is always shutting these things down or making it take 10

01:35:48.020 years right and it takes so long because in part the fda approval process is a catastrophe ridiculous

01:35:55.800 ridiculous and so instead of going through that they did something else where you just had a uh an

01:36:01.600 emergency approval yeah emergency use authorization emergency use authorization by the way instead of 0.84

01:36:08.160 the actual approval it very much strengthens your case if you're someone who doesn't want to get it

01:36:12.360 because it would be very difficult for a government entity to require when it hasn't been approved by

01:36:17.000 the fda right yeah it would be very difficult for that to happen i don't think it would hold up in court

01:36:20.920 but again i there are worries there and you do have to worry about government overreach when it

01:36:25.380 comes to power on these things i'm just talking about the actual science plus capitalism aspect of

01:36:30.860 this which i freaking love i love that part of it and why wouldn't you because if you're a trump fan

01:36:35.820 this is exactly what he did yeah these were the steps he took to make this happen and it's important

01:36:40.920 to note too that donald trump got the coronavirus as we all would remember right before the election

01:36:45.640 in a really bad way had a really rough run with it and even though he had it before he left office

01:36:51.240 he got the vaccine yeah like this is donald trump choosing to take it after he already had it it's

01:36:57.180 questionable whether you would even need it if you had coronavirus like as a covet 19 survivor myself

01:37:02.100 uh i've had to look into these things as well as a canadian sports hero canadian sports hero those

01:37:07.120 two things i'm known for yeah but uh the point is that trump i mean look you could say

01:37:12.560 you know it would be very strange decision making for this to be some nefarious plot that trump

01:37:18.820 willingly decided to take before he left office i mean i don't know why he would do that the point

01:37:24.420 though is that this is going in such a good direction we've come off of these highs right

01:37:28.920 and i think there's a good chance that we'll get that situation that we talked about as conservatives at

01:37:35.100 the beginning where not through policy but through vaccines the older population is protected 0.99

01:37:41.320 so that even if we have flare-ups among the younger population we're likely to lose

01:37:48.200 the high death numbers yeah from the previous outbreaks yeah i was reading an article from

01:37:54.200 somebody who uh isn't a huge proponent of less restrictions and even he was saying um i can't

01:38:04.340 remember the name but even he was saying that by memorial day it's going to be hard to say you still

01:38:10.020 need to wear a mask so we're trending in such a direction now that by memorial day we should be

01:38:16.020 done with that and that's great if that's true look it's it's great you know it's it's true here

01:38:21.560 largely in texas anyway i mean some of the signs remain on the doors uh there are certain places

01:38:26.560 my wife can tell you a list of all of them in this area that will get mad at you if you do not wear a

01:38:30.960 mask i bet she could oh yeah if you're ever on her instagram page that is about 90 of the content 0.91

01:38:36.640 is her talking about what places she can walk into without a mask and they won't harass her that's 0.98

01:38:41.460 most of her attention these days yeah our house got destroyed by a flood so you have that and then

01:38:47.420 you have where can she go shopping without a mask those are the two things she thinks about

01:38:50.580 but it's true i mean you i've i have noticed and we made this point in the air pad at the

01:38:56.140 beginning of this that really there's been no big difference from in texas yeah before the

01:39:01.660 announcement almost none nothing's changed really in my life maybe now we're starting to see a little

01:39:06.600 bit more of things opening like i you know i'm going to uh the uh the america's team the toronto blue

01:39:12.320 jays uh their game against the rangers today so expected 100 capacity that's going to be weird

01:39:17.800 yeah that's something because i've been to a few sporting events with empty seats this is going

01:39:21.380 to be weird if it's actually filled but you do have to wear a mask right they do say that unless

01:39:24.720 you're eating or drinking which by the way i'm at a baseball game i will be doing a lot of so it's

01:39:28.360 not going to really affect me all that much uh 888-727-BECK is the phone number uh let's talk to you

01:39:33.060 about american financing nmls 182334 www.nmlsconsumeraccess.org thank you jeffy like sans in the hourglass so are

01:39:45.660 the days of getting a mortgage refinance rate in the two percent range that's not how is that even

01:39:49.880 a thing if you haven't already made a call to american financing to find out what they can do

01:39:53.700 to help you save money every month there's only uh a few who knows when this is going to end it

01:39:59.340 doesn't feel like with the the way they're printing money right now that we're going to have access to

01:40:03.240 uh to rates like this anytime in the near future uh mortgage rates have always been higher than this

01:40:09.540 they've been low for the past year or so they're starting to rise again if you have a chance to be

01:40:14.180 paying less on your mortgage or bundle your existing debt into something a lot more manageable

01:40:17.920 why wouldn't you do that and the beauty of refinancing your mortgage is that you don't

01:40:21.860 have to reset your term and start all over you could literally be saving hundreds of dollars a

01:40:26.020 month maybe even as much as a thousand uh why not do this think about what an extra 12 grand could do

01:40:31.400 for you and your family for over two decades american financing has been helping people like you

01:40:36.220 find ways to make their finances work for them give them a call today i can say i have a mortgage

01:40:53.840 pat and stew for glenn on the glenn beck program uh wanted to play for you this uh pastor he's

01:41:09.700 originally from poland but he lives in calgary canada now and has his parish there and uh some

01:41:15.380 police officers came in to his church yesterday on easter sunday and were hassling people without a

01:41:21.520 mask and so he kind of took exception to that please get out get out of this property immediately get 0.63

01:41:29.880 out get out of this property talking to six police officers i don't want to hear anything out of

01:41:36.760 this property immediately i don't want to hear a word out out out of this property immediately until

01:41:45.300 you come back with a warrant out yeah out out out out out of this property immediately out

01:41:57.040 immediately go out and don't come back don't i don't want to talk to you not a word out of this

01:42:04.800 out of this property out of this property out of this property out i don't care what you have to

01:42:10.720 say out out out of this property you nazis out out gestapo is not allowed here immediately gestapo is

01:42:24.100 not allowed out out do you understand english get out of this property go so go go and don't come 1.00

01:42:37.260 back without a warrant out nazi out out now what does he want from the officers here i think he wants

01:42:46.020 him to stay have a have a cupcake or something okay so he continues uh he continues to call them

01:42:54.580 nazi gestapo communists fascists uh but they leave and how does this work they actually leave

01:43:01.860 uh you need to try this next time you get pulled over out get out out i don't want to hear you get

01:43:10.020 out i'm gonna try that you get pulled over you know once a week at least so you gotta at least

01:43:17.140 give this a shot seriously i think that's the thing i'm most fascinated about how they actually

01:43:21.680 it actually works yeah i mean of course they shouldn't be in there doing these things uh if

01:43:26.300 he wants them to not be there if they don't have a warrant yeah is it to come in and what enforce

01:43:30.900 i guess the idea was they were enforcing mask policy of some sort yes i guess they were having

01:43:34.800 shirts with no masks right wow and he just put the hammer down he really did uh which is amazing

01:43:43.480 first of all it takes a lot of nerve secondly i mean i'm not normally in favor of uh disrespecting

01:43:51.200 the police officers but they're they're you know hassling people with masks with not wearing masks

01:43:57.460 on easter sunday at a church yeah no look that's that's wrong i will say also however there's a little

01:44:02.780 jim crow 2.0 going on here and that like if you were to yell at the nazis that way that is not the

01:44:07.920 way the interaction would have well that's true that is i get that's kind of an important point as

01:44:13.260 well it is i mean i let the police take enough abuse from people uh yeah that i don't like to see

01:44:18.140 that but but again you understand people are frustrated it's been over a year here of this

01:44:23.140 craziness and you know there's just no reason there's no reason to be enforcing these types of

01:44:29.240 things ask tell people reliable information they can count on and you won't change every two weeks

01:44:34.040 and let them make decisions for themselves and then if they show up tell them get out

01:44:38.360 get out get out the glenbeck program

01:44:42.360 well it's springtime out there it's about time to act like it's springtime we spent most of a year

01:47:09.080 that a million times uh but it's i mean that's amazing i we actually uh we have a did an interview

01:47:14.000 for my show studios america up for this later on this week it's airing and it was about kind of

01:47:19.020 like how you started this company in the middle of a pandemic and how weird that is it is weird

01:47:23.620 it is it is it must have been such a strange thing to kind of go through

01:47:28.180 as the economy's struggling we don't know what's coming around the corner all this craziness yeah

01:47:33.340 must have been yeah a little nerve-wracking and to spend pretty much everything we had we kind of

01:47:37.480 dumped it into this i got to thinking all right i'm investing in all these other companies why don't

01:47:42.580 we just invest in ours so that's what we did yeah and so you could say it's not a good decision to

01:47:48.480 start a company in the middle of a pandemic some would say that i wouldn't say it because that would be

01:47:52.580 rude but some would say it i will say though though there are some management decisions i really do

01:47:57.940 have to question with your company like the location of our kitchen exactly which is halfway between

01:48:04.760 jeffy's old house and his new house that close to jeffy no it's terrible it's disastrous you're gonna

01:48:12.060 have like three break-ins a week i will be shocked we've got to keep the location secret from him

01:48:19.820 somehow he do i'll be shocked if you have any dough remaining in week two

01:48:24.240 we won't have a single cookie supply if he gets wind of this no so

01:48:30.840 well that's great before he finds our location go to kexy.com and maybe we'll still be able to get

01:48:36.660 cookies too yeah all right triple eight uh seven two seven b e c k uh also uh we were we were talking

01:48:45.940 about this uh uh mask situation that uh that this polish pastor in calgary uh really drove home to 0.65

01:48:56.880 the police who showed up at his place to hassle his parishioners uh hopefully we're going to be able

01:49:03.160 to get past this mask situation sometime soon because if we all remember back to last year the deal was

01:49:11.640 all right we're gonna flatten the curve 15 days to flatten the curve uh okay we flattened the curve

01:49:17.980 and then it was no now we gotta we we really needed a uh a vaccination we need a vaccine and until we get

01:49:26.440 a vaccine we really can't allow you to uh take off the mask or stop your social distancing so now we have

01:49:33.140 the vaccine and now it still hasn't eliminated the need for the mask strange or the social distancing

01:49:39.940 which again stew and i are both kind of okay with the social distancing yeah i kind of don't want to

01:49:45.100 be near people that much yeah you know do i really need to be right up on you or you right up on me

01:49:49.820 yeah no i don't need to like i really don't there's certain things i want to keep from the uh from the

01:49:55.680 pandemic era uh i i'm fine with the social distancing let's keep it let's keep unless i really know you

01:50:01.280 really well and you maybe i'm married to you i don't really need to be within six feet of you

01:50:06.160 my voice is can carry the six feet you want to even make it three feet like they do in europe

01:50:10.700 fine okay but like like the close talker thing on seinfeld was funny for a reason

01:50:15.200 i don't need to go back to that not everybody maybe but many people can relate to that yes

01:50:20.780 i don't want you right up in my face when we're talking right like i don't i'm fine losing that one

01:50:24.560 i'm fine this is a controversial one i'm fine losing the handshake i don't need so am i what what

01:50:29.800 am i getting out of that and i'm definitely all about the kissing on the cheek thing not happening

01:50:34.780 yeah well totally done with that i mean that was that should have been done with me too anyway

01:50:38.780 because you just don't know who you're gonna offend that's true right as andrew cuomo is uh finding out

01:50:44.020 uh quite uh quite uh overtly here i would also say uh no not having traffic i don't want that to come

01:50:52.440 back right you know what hey hey i just worked at home for the past year uh stay there okay i have to

01:50:59.640 go drive around i like not having other cars on the road please stay there you could continue to work

01:51:03.920 at home but just don't come out i don't want things to be crowded i like i i've noticed here

01:51:09.260 in texas we are now back to and this is an interesting development by the way we are now

01:51:13.380 back to a 100 capacity on rest or 100 capacity on restaurants in the law but also people are back

01:51:19.820 at restaurants at pre-pandemic levels in texas nationwide it's about 75 percent of pre-pandemic

01:51:26.720 levels but in texas it's 100 we're totally back oh and here's an odd thing wow we are currently pat

01:51:31.720 at 100 restaurant uh levels from pre-pandemic however we're at 38 percent of work uh workers

01:51:40.860 in offices now i think that's going to be a permanent thing i think a lot of people are

01:51:45.940 going to work from home now oh i think so too but i think there's also there's an element of like

01:51:50.400 there's there in this in these two statistics there's a story there's a story of a person

01:51:56.460 who is telling their boss they don't want to come in because of the pandemic but they're going to

01:52:00.460 restaurants that person exists a lot of them exist 38 to 100 this is not a small margin

01:52:08.000 and there's just a lot of people are like look i like working at home it's freaking i get to get up

01:52:12.720 and you know do things in my own base commute maybe to my living room to my living room i get to keep

01:52:17.400 in stay in sweatpants whenever i want and i get to go out and go to restaurants and stuff on the

01:52:22.060 weekends when i feel like it that is like that's a nice little uh that's a nice little package and i

01:52:27.100 think that's going to be pretty common and for companies it makes sense too because you know you

01:52:32.700 don't have to rent these giant offices you can trim down the space you can maybe work have an office

01:52:39.700 where you have like maybe people come in once a week for meetings but they're not there all the

01:52:43.520 time there's a lot of positives to it it makes a lot of sense but i like the i like the development

01:52:48.920 of this character there's the and and you know what you're listening right now it might be you

01:52:53.820 it might be you you're not showing up to work because you're acting like you're scared about

01:52:58.020 covid in reality you're out at the bar all weekend we know what you're doing and i'm perfectly fine

01:53:03.420 with it and that's i mean you look at the you look at the attendance in this building where

01:53:09.160 clearly there were dozens if not a almost a hundred people a day probably now there's what 10 yeah

01:53:17.920 maybe 10 people come into the office there was this thing where they sent out this email

01:53:22.400 it was like hey everyone could come back now because for a while we were telling people don't

01:53:26.340 come in you know not we like but the company right they're saying like hey don't come in because

01:53:31.340 you know there's the covid thing going on and you know of course a lot of companies are in this

01:53:35.380 position and this is a real thing that companies are dealing with that they don't have they don't

01:53:39.640 know if if someone comes in and gets covid here they could get sued so they're they're trying to

01:53:45.180 make sure their outward policies are like look no don't come back in because i don't want to

01:53:50.760 get sued and of course there's safety concerns and all that other thing if you don't need to be

01:53:54.060 here why would you be here which makes sense on the other hand like texas is now 100 open there are

01:53:59.360 no restrictions on any business to do anything for covid right now um they're just not a thing

01:54:04.120 so now it's just like people just i was kind of expecting there'd be like a okay people are

01:54:10.120 gonna come rushing back in did not happen i think like one person showed up and i haven't seen

01:54:15.680 him since no they're loving the whole thing hey i could i can't you know i mean you know as

01:54:22.120 both pat and i as as essential workers in this economy it's just laughable but both pat and i

01:54:28.980 came in every day throughout the entire pandemic we never we never worked at i've never worked at home

01:54:34.860 uh doing the show other than when i actually had covid you know i stayed at home for that period

01:54:39.720 but i you know you weren't on the air during that time right so i came into the studio every day to do

01:54:45.040 the show and it was you it's weird doing that because you saw at the beginning of it there would

01:54:50.900 be times i'd drive to work and see like one car yeah and it was weird it was weird it was a little

01:54:56.980 surreal but it was also kind of nice because you didn't have to deal with traffic and especially

01:55:02.280 the drive home because i come in uh way earlier than most people yeah but i go home at a time when

01:55:08.120 a lot of people are going home so it's uh it's nice not to have to do stop and go traffic all the way

01:55:14.540 home yeah it is nice it's been kind of a cool thing and it's funny because they say you know

01:55:18.480 the the the causes of death stats came out and there's some really interesting stuff in there

01:55:23.120 for example the craziest part of the entire report from uh from the government let me guess

01:55:29.160 no flu deaths last year no well that's true we well they're they combine in this report they

01:55:35.380 combine flu and influenza influenza and um uh what's the other one uh one other ammonia thank you very

01:55:42.300 much ammonia deaths together so it's there were the in that category that's going to be broken down

01:55:47.980 later but there are very few flu deaths we do know that um but the other one the craziest one was that

01:55:52.420 suicides went down year to year suicides went down 5.6 percent which is stunning to me i you know one of

01:55:59.880 the i would say it's one of the things that everyone talked about from the beginning that there was going

01:56:03.600 to be a cost with people being home all the time not having interaction we've seen stories that

01:56:09.020 tons of anecdotal stuff back that up but i will say massachusetts released the first report that i

01:56:13.500 saw showed suicides were down peru did a separate report and said suicides were down and now the

01:56:18.460 entire united states they were down 5.6 percent for the year their preliminary numbers finalized

01:56:22.880 but it does look like there was not this explosion of suicides now there could be reasons for that in

01:56:28.340 that like for example uh this is going to be one of the best years on record for the health of

01:56:34.600 children when it comes to living or dying now we know the mental health parts of this are going to

01:56:39.040 be really complicated for years to come but as far as living or dying children generally speaking

01:56:45.160 uh have fared much better because covid hasn't killed them and they they've been home largely with

01:56:53.420 their parents other diseases from other people right they're not interacting with other people

01:56:57.620 not getting those diseases they're not having accidents as much because their parents are home with

01:57:01.700 them the whole freaking time they might be sick of their parents but they're dying at a lower rate

01:57:05.520 than normal um which has been kind of interesting the suicide thing was i thought fascinating because 0.53

01:57:10.760 i thought the exact opposite now it could be part of this right maybe like a lot of suicides happen

01:57:17.480 where a wife and a husband are you know they're married uh the wife is off at work the husband decides

01:57:23.500 to kill himself at home well maybe the wife's home and they decide not to do it because they don't they

01:57:28.900 didn't want to do it when their wife was home like there could be all sorts of reasons why this

01:57:32.800 happens and it could echo into the future right like these large depression issues and stuff that

01:57:38.920 have formed from this uh you know that could lead to many more in the future once this stuff all gets

01:57:45.140 back to normal but i thought that was a a fascinating stat another one in there it doesn't seem like car

01:57:51.300 accidents have fallen like what was expected what was expected is you know we're getting way less miles

01:57:57.080 driven far less people uh are on the roads you'd expect a lot less car trips and deaths but that's

01:58:04.020 not the case they're not really seeing that and one of the reasons they believe is that people are

01:58:07.880 yes there's less people but they all think they can drive like 100 miles an hour all the time because

01:58:11.820 no one's on the road so they're just driving by themselves and getting in really bad accidents

01:58:16.040 driving a lot faster than normal uh but they don't know for sure yet this is all going to be

01:58:20.320 hashed out over the next few years but i i will say i do not want the traffic to come back i i love not

01:58:26.300 dealing with that and now here in texas it's it's not all the way back but it's getting close it is it

01:58:32.480 feels like now you're actually slowing down on the roadways again yep and that's that's not exciting

01:58:37.800 no you know you get to this point in the pandemic where all you all you want is to have a gathering

01:58:43.300 with other people you know and then you have to have it once you realize how much how annoying it was 0.99

01:58:49.640 why did i want that again why they suck these people are awful i'm having meaningless dumb 0.98

01:58:55.820 conversations about nothing and they're all breathing on me please leave get out get out 1.00

01:59:03.180 888-727-BECK

01:59:05.980 i'll tell you about gold last week joe biden and company revealed their 2.25 trillion dollar backdoor

01:59:15.200 tax hike i think i'm supposed to call that an infrastructure plan and by the way not 1.9

01:59:20.160 there's we're already over 2 trillion it's probably going to go up even more but what's

01:59:23.480 what's a few trillion dollars between friends uh you ever have a an image of what that money looks

01:59:29.340 like if you made ten thousand dollars a day for the next 50 years you only have one fifth of one

01:59:34.280 billion dollars and a trillion is a thousand billions so we are printing up new money and it is

01:59:41.480 going out of control if you haven't already now's the time to be looking into precious metals the

01:59:46.400 dollar is in deep trouble with people like i mean with the way we're doing this in this modern

01:59:50.680 monetary theory that we're just attempting out of nowhere it's getting ugly gold line can help you

02:00:32.140 it's pat and stew for glenn uh you know this massive infrastructure bill that we're uh bantering

02:00:46.580 about right now about uh five percent of it seems to be going to infrastructure yeah i'm surprised it's

02:00:54.640 that high i know i know uh according to a white house fact sheet breaking down

02:01:01.680 the the american jobs plan uh and their areas of focus the biden administration is proposing 115

02:01:09.720 billion to modernize bridges and roads that are in the most critical need of repair

02:01:14.060 so apparently 173 000 miles of u.s highways are uh in need of repair and about 45 000 bridges

02:01:24.820 but this is only going to repair 20 000 miles of roadways and maybe 10 000 small bridges

02:01:31.060 that's great so everything that they're telling us right now is completely untrue

02:01:41.460 but other than that but other than that pat to be fair 95 because the five percent is going to

02:01:48.200 infrastructure so only 95 of what they're telling us it was not true right that's all you could look

02:01:53.660 at it like that yeah i'm the optimist here on the show it's a glass half empty or half full

02:01:59.540 they're telling us five percent of the truth we should be excited about that

02:02:03.360 i mean and we're talking about two trillion dollars in spending and and it's a two trillion dollar

02:02:10.400 infrastructure bill with less than ten percent of it five percent of it going to infrastructure

02:02:16.720 yeah and this is really different than the last one i mean the last bill was filled with all

02:02:20.840 sorts of crap in it but did have some actual things that were useful as far as the the covid

02:02:27.040 situation this is an infrastructure bill that's barely touching infrastructure i mean there's 400 0.88

02:02:32.000 billion dollars pat for in-home elder care now look in-home elder care is a it's important it's

02:02:37.620 important but it's it's not infrastructure yeah it's like they just keep saying crumbling roads

02:02:43.740 and bridges that's why we need to send an attendant to your grandpa's house like that's not 0.95

02:02:48.480 no wait doesn't make a lot of sense does it these are just liberal wish list points at this point

02:02:54.660 and it's getting worse and worse as each bill goes by but again the good thing is it's only a two

02:02:59.140 billion dollar bill it's two trillion two trillion right

02:03:01.740 you
