00:00:00.000 Sparke the flame, pass it on, crank the game, let back us on
00:00:28.480 The fusion of entertainment, enlightenment, and empowerment.
00:00:47.980 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:00:51.460 Glenn Beck is on.
00:00:54.380 It is Economic D-Day.
00:00:58.480 according to the president.
00:00:59.720 What does that mean?
00:01:01.980 Well, we're talking Iran and, of course, the latest sanctions things ramping up there.
00:01:06.620 It sounds more like an economic game of chicken.
00:01:10.260 Jason Buttrell describing earlier this week.
00:01:12.440 We'll talk about that story.
00:01:13.960 We've got so many big, big stories to wade through today.
00:01:17.660 Justin Barkley in for Glenn today in the Glenn Beck program.
00:01:21.180 Dinesh D'Souza joins us coming up in the program as well.
00:01:24.160 And an interesting candidate for Congress.
00:01:26.600 One with a background I think you're going to love.
00:01:31.400 And a future that could help save the nation.
00:01:35.160 All of that and more coming up as we kick things off today on this edition of the Glenn Beck Program.
00:01:41.220 Back right after this.
00:01:46.640 I think about Providence often these days.
00:01:49.500 The idea that we're stewards of our families, our communities, our own safety.
00:01:53.920 The founders understood this.
00:01:55.360 It's woven into the fabric of who we are as Americans.
00:01:58.440 And I want to share something with you. 0.68
00:01:59.760 It's called BURNA, B-Y-R-N-A, and it's changed how I think about personal protection. 0.92
00:02:04.720 Here's the thing.
00:02:05.440 Most people assume self-defense is complicated, that you need training, licensing, you know, government approval.
00:02:10.320 But BURNA is legal in all 50 states.
00:02:12.760 No permit, no background check, because your right to protect your family shouldn't require anyone's permission.
00:02:18.520 The range on this is 60 feet.
00:02:20.060 That's not pepper spray distance.
00:02:21.400 That's real distance that gives you time to think, to move, to get your family safe.
00:02:26.140 It's simple enough that anyone can use it, anyone.
00:02:28.920 And it's built in Fort Wayne, Indiana, right here in America, in American hands, American craftsmanship.
00:02:34.300 And that matters to me, and I think it matters to you.
00:02:36.700 I'm not here to scare you.
00:02:37.760 I'm here to tell you being prepared isn't paranoia.
00:02:40.120 It's love.
00:02:40.920 It's what we do for the people that you'd do anything for.
00:02:43.340 So go to Byrna, BYRNA.com slash Glenn.
00:02:51.400 so this is economic d-day uh president saying we are we are going after uh iran in ways that we
00:03:01.140 haven't uh done it yet and of course uh what's interesting uh about all this is the way that
00:03:06.640 jason described that earlier in the week on the show kind of uh like a back and forth between at
00:03:11.120 least it's what it sounds like to me the back and forth between uh what could be economic d-day for
00:03:17.500 us as well it is it is to me it's feeling more and more like a game of uh chicken between uh the two
00:03:25.720 in in this scenario uh this is the report this morning from fox news in targeting to run's oil
00:03:31.640 and finances which he is calling economic d-day chief foreign correspondent trainings live in
00:03:35.760 tel aviv to explain what that could mean trey yeah hey guys good morning overnight president
00:03:42.040 Trump announced what he is calling economic D-Day against Iran. The president indicated that any
00:03:48.020 countries around the world that are providing any sort of economic lifeline to the Iranian regime
00:03:53.860 would face their own economic consequences. He called on allies to stand with the United States,
00:03:58.980 posting to True Social, no one has given the Islamic Republic of Iran a greater opportunity
00:04:03.000 to make a deal than me. Tragically for them, they have failed to take it. Therefore, today I am
00:04:07.600 announcing the most crushing economic operation ever taken against any country this will be
00:04:12.420 economic warfare and isolation on an unprecedented scale on Wednesday the president described the
00:04:18.020 state of play amid reports that the United States is still overseeing vessels through a safe corridor
00:04:23.100 to export millions of barrels of oil out of the Persian Gulf each day but the deal didn't terminate
00:04:29.600 you know the deal didn't turn out to be what they said you know when they tell us one thing and they
00:04:33.720 do another but the blockade has been 100 successful no boats have gotten into iran
00:04:38.960 it is interesting uh because there's another piece of this story that uh that we'll have
00:04:44.980 to dig into as well axios as a a really fascinating look into what is secretly
00:04:50.580 happening behind us you know we've gotten glimpses at this previously as well i've got
00:04:55.460 the president's full statement we'll do that coming up but he spoke here in the oval yesterday
00:05:01.320 as they they met uh doing the the the crypto uh meeting yesterday tell us one thing and they do
00:05:06.980 another but the blockade has been 100 successful no boats have gotten into iran but they are getting
00:05:13.080 in for other places but we'll see we're going to see what happens uh it'll either be extremely good
00:05:19.140 and oil prices are going to drop like a rock or we'll continue to do exactly what we're doing you
00:05:24.160 know uh they were talking about 350 a barrel and it's today 84 85 and uh we are getting a lot of
00:05:32.920 oil out but the other thing this is by the way i'm not i'm not cutting him off that's just where
00:05:38.700 the clip ends but here's here's the other piece of this that's really fascinating because they've
00:05:43.880 just set this this whole thing up this game of chicken uh as i understand it earlier this week
00:05:49.640 in our conversation so the united we we we've got history of dealing with this country for decades
00:05:58.780 nearly 50 years now and well in this regime anyway um and they always do the same thing
00:06:09.880 uh because they have a playbook and it's based on ours this time around they're betting that uh
00:06:18.100 Again, we'll just throw in the towel that we'll be done.
00:06:22.740 And eventually we'll just capitulate and leave them alone and pay them off at some point.
00:06:28.600 I got news, though.
00:06:30.320 Doesn't matter what's happening or where things go here in the near future, this president is not dropping off pallets of cash.
00:06:41.460 That's not going to happen this time around.
00:06:44.280 So they're betting that eventually will fold, or maybe they can do enough damage that they can cripple this president into, you know, the next two years or whatever's left of his term, right, in the midterms here, that gas price is where they are.
00:07:01.400 And by the way, don't discount. Gas prices cost everything is. It's on the table. These are things that people are going to be, when they vote, coming up in November.
00:07:14.280 gonna be top of mind for him president very he's well aware of that i don't know that the best
00:07:21.460 messaging has come out on all of it um maybe we need to do a little bit better job about talking
00:07:27.700 to those people and explaining to them the reason we're in this this mess in the first place
00:07:32.060 is bidenomics that's why prices are so high president's done a lot of good things to move
00:07:37.740 the needle gas prices were much lower at one point who was that why was that was it was it
00:07:44.640 biden that did that no is this it was this president and his goal is to move them even lower
00:07:50.980 disarming iran's nuclear ambitions at the same time uh you know single-handedly saving the world
00:07:57.200 and i think there's something bigger we've heard glenn talk about this i've heard some other folks
00:08:01.840 discuss this as well i think there is a reshaping right now of how the world works particularly
00:08:07.720 with with oil with energy um that a lot of folks may not you you may not be able to see from the
00:08:16.720 surface but if you look closely you can you can get a little bit better glimpse of it all
00:08:22.120 that's all happening while the midterms are we've got the midterms going on we got to win these
00:08:29.640 These races, and at the same time, they do believe, economically, they've got Iran on the ropes. 0.89
00:08:39.860 They have done so much damage to this country. 1.00
00:08:43.840 They've got them on the ropes, and they will be successful, they believe, in crushing them.
00:08:51.440 But anybody, any country, any other organization that might be helping them in any other way,
00:08:57.960 They got to take that off the table altogether.
00:09:00.760 A little bit more from the president's full response here.
00:09:04.660 No one has given the Islamic Republic of Iran a greater opportunity to make a deal than me.
00:09:11.600 All right.
00:09:12.340 So here he is saying, let's make a deal.
00:09:15.160 Let's get this done.
00:09:16.360 You're going it's going to be positive if you do.
00:09:20.680 Then he says, tragically for them, they have failed to take it.
00:09:25.280 He says, this is an opportunity.
00:09:27.340 they're going to miss out the door the window is closing and he says therefore today i'm announcing
00:09:33.740 the most crushing economic operation ever taken against any country this will be economic warfare
00:09:41.000 and isolation on an unprecedented scale their navy is gone their air force is destroyed their
00:09:48.200 military forces are now rubble their currency is worthless and the country is hanging by a thread
00:09:54.700 today i am also announcing that any country that allows its financial institutions the banking
00:10:02.300 industry in moving money in any way businesses airports or government entities to provide
00:10:09.740 any type of lifeline to iran will itself face tremendous economic consequences
00:10:17.200 oil smuggling swap lines cash transfers exchange houses ship registries front companies it all
00:10:27.400 needs to stop now and otherwise he's laying out we know what you're doing we understand how it works
00:10:33.680 and we're calling on you to cut it off now or you'll face the hammer that's about to drop as
00:10:40.020 well you know who you are this will be an economic d-day and we need all of our allies to stand with 0.71
00:10:49.620 the united states of america to isolate and defeat the iranian threat these maniacs are on the ropes 0.93
00:10:57.320 he says and these historic measures will cripple them and their ability to project terror worldwide 0.77
00:11:04.100 Iran will never have a nuclear weapon this is in all caps thank you for your attention to this
00:11:10.260 matter President Donald J. Trump so there's the full that is the full statement that came out
00:11:16.200 sometime last night and uh and now you get a little bit clear a little bit better picture
00:11:22.480 of what he's trying to do and how he's approaching things again this uh this is this is threading
00:11:31.960 the needle i believe the president's intention here is to take all the cards off the table for
00:11:39.300 them and in a moment when it is we are we're do or die here do or die and he's saying we can't
00:11:52.680 we can't allow anyone anyone to help in any sort of way keep them give them a lifeline a little
00:12:02.100 bit of oxygen we got to cut it all off so that that that understanding of how this is playing
00:12:13.160 and you might say well how come we haven't done this from the beginning i think there have been
00:12:17.400 multiple attempts there have been shifts in strategies i don't think they ever expected
00:12:21.740 to go as long as it has in some ways but also i believe there's a lot happening behind the scenes
00:12:28.420 that we just don't see there's a lot happening that we just maybe don't fully understand there's
00:12:34.260 probably a lot happening that they don't want us and i'm when i when i say that the president
00:12:38.220 doesn't want us to see so the latest we've heard you know just the past couple of days no talks
00:12:44.500 of the Iran, economic D-Day in the last day or so, and now calling on these other countries
00:12:51.840 to participate.
00:12:54.340 Markets are, I'm sure, going to be responding and reacting to some of this message.
00:13:01.080 But there's also a little bit of a hidden, I think, ray of sunshine and all this.
00:13:07.520 At least it's sort of a, it's a quiet story.
00:13:12.180 axios is reporting that again we've heard a little bit of this in the past but this one
00:13:19.060 this is a story that shows you why and maybe what the president is doing behind the scenes but also
00:13:28.000 why he believes he can be so successful at cutting them off at the knees here this story coming out
00:13:34.840 of Axios, a stealth operation, as they describe it, to transport oil through the Strait of Hormuz.
00:13:46.200 This is what we've seen, by the way, when we've heard over the last few weeks or whatnot about
00:13:52.360 the straits open, the straits not open, the straits open.
00:13:55.900 It's a back and forth.
00:13:57.460 The president's saying, we control the state.
00:13:59.080 And at one point, you heard him say, no, no, this is going to be United States territory, the Strait of Hormuz.
00:14:09.160 And then you get the laughing in the press.
00:14:12.260 And I think it might have been Monday or Tuesday when we originally covered this story.
00:14:16.560 And I told you, I see, you know, he's the interesting thing about him and how you listen to him.
00:14:21.520 You have to hear what he said.
00:14:23.200 Take seriously what he says, but maybe not literally.
00:14:25.380 there were pieces that were hidden here that we didn't fully understand uh you know the the what
00:14:33.320 was actually happening behind the scenes now we have a little bit better picture and so when he
00:14:37.340 does say things like which cnn and ms now the rest of them uh a lot of folks uh will will sort
00:14:44.300 of chuckle at now now you you get a little bit better picture of what he meant and what was
00:14:50.060 really happening behind the scenes i want to dig into this coming up in just a moment from axios
00:14:54.000 First, we've got to take a quick break.
00:14:56.220 We're back with more after this.

00:16:17.100 love to hear from you
00:16:18.660 by the way I'm everywhere on social media
00:16:20.080 at Mr. Justin Barclay
00:16:21.500 here's what we've got out of Axios
00:16:24.480 that I find
00:16:25.720 kind of a glimpse into what
00:16:27.940 is happening behind the scenes
00:16:29.980 And again, you know, markets price in what they hear directly from the president.
00:16:35.240 We'll hear news, talking heads react to certain things.
00:16:38.200 And then we have what may happen behind the scenes that we don't know about.
00:16:42.520 And this is just one of those stories.
00:16:44.340 I remember hearing about a little, the rumblings about this.
00:16:47.420 This is a little, this is a few more details on it all.
00:16:50.640 10 million barrels per day passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
00:16:54.800 Now, I think, if I remember correctly, the original pre-war may have been twice that.
00:17:03.380 It may have been twice that at one point.
00:17:06.020 I'll do some digging and look that up.
00:17:08.100 Maybe somebody can correct me on this.
00:17:09.580 But this is an important story.
00:17:12.680 I'll tell you why from Axios.
00:17:15.240 It's all about how they have quite, when I say they, the U.S., the United States,
00:17:20.620 through direction President Trump, Commander-in-Chief,
00:17:24.160 and the United States military has quietly been able to establish a shipping corridor
00:17:31.820 through the Strait of Hormuz, which we've been told is closed.
00:17:35.760 And Iran, again, their Ministry of Truth keeps, you know, tweeting and responding each and every,
00:17:41.980 no, no, no, it's closed, you can't get through, we're going to crush you. 0.92
00:17:45.380 It almost reminds me, do you remember every other day,
00:17:47.780 and of course, USS Abraham Lincoln's been in the news lately,
00:17:50.360 because of other reasons here recently.
00:17:52.900 I found that equally as funny that it was in the news when Iran again had told us,
00:17:57.500 I don't know how many times in the course of the action here,
00:18:00.340 that they had sunk, this truck and sunk the USS Abraham Lincoln.
00:18:05.800 It didn't happen.
00:18:07.320 Same in this story.
00:18:08.660 You can take it to the bank with the same credibility that the strait is closed, etc.
00:18:14.960 Anyway, we know that's not true because they have been averaging around 10 million barrels a day of oil passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
00:18:25.740 Again, that's about half the pre-war level.
00:18:30.560 It's not enough to completely bring markets back down.
00:18:34.200 Now, we've seen prices lately, we've seen them drop as low as in the 60s in $70 range.
00:18:39.920 I think today they're probably back into the 80s, if I remember correctly, looking at it.
00:18:44.360 yeah 80s and 90s so um and then more importantly the price at the pump that's the one that voters
00:18:51.560 really have their eye on you're still waiting for that to equal out and you've heard the president
00:18:56.400 talk about price gouging and things of that nature and getting that that's that's where you really
00:19:00.920 want to see that move uh to really feel good about where things are going to add in in the
00:19:06.460 midterms here but there is a corridor in the Strait of Hormuz open there's something else
00:19:11.920 It's happening at the same time.
00:19:13.820 They are at the same time that they've been able to secure about these 10 million barrels moving through the strait each day.
00:19:20.300 They're also working on building other infrastructure, pipelines, et cetera, to move some of the significance away from the Strait of Hormuz.
00:19:28.800 As you may have heard Glenn point this out before and I've heard others talk about this, but there's a lot more happening in this move with Iran.
00:19:37.280 And, yes, the nuclear issue is a big part of it, but there is a reshaping at the same time of the world's energy markets
00:19:44.940 and the dominance of the United States of America when it comes to particularly this issue altogether.
00:19:51.060 Here's the key quote from the article.
00:19:53.760 We have been controlling the southern lane of the Strait of Hormuz for two months now.
00:19:59.360 The IRGC can be a nuisance, but they don't control the strait.
00:20:05.540 We do.
00:20:06.100 So, this is something I've been describing for a while now, saying, you know, the way I understand it, the way this has been described to us, the way I see it, we have taken most of their military capabilities off the table.
00:20:18.980 There's not much they can do when it comes to the Stratoharm moves.
00:20:21.900 In fact, if you read into this article, there are key pieces that they discuss, targeting radar facilities, things like that, that have been very, very helpful.
00:20:34.300 Here's the behind the scenes.
00:20:35.940 The task force overseeing the Hormuz effort is being run right out of the Army headquarters in Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
00:20:43.480 The task force coordinating with regional golf partners creates a daily list of ships coming out of the Gulf through the Strait of Hormuz and into the Arabian Sea,
00:20:51.380 as well as a list of rented empty takers that travel from the Arabian Sea through the Strait and into the ports of Gulf countries to pick up more oil.
00:21:00.640 Each night, the ships are scheduled to move in one big outbound line during a certain time slot
00:21:08.200 and one big inbound line during a separate time slot.
00:21:12.100 All of this coordinated and overseen by the United States military.
00:21:18.180 So when Trump says the strait is open, folks, he means it.
00:21:24.560 And it's just another piece of this economic D-Day that we'll have to consider.

00:23:18.540 economic d-day as described by the president and uh sources around him with
00:23:25.540 rand here he is actually talking about i i didn't realize that he meant but he sort of
00:23:30.480 he sort of quietly mentions this program this secret opening of the strait of hormuz
00:23:37.900 in the in the oval office i think this was yesterday well we have things that we could
00:23:43.000 sanctioned we have very draconian sanctions and we'll see what happens right now the straight is
00:23:49.720 open we a lot of boats are coming through people aren't reporting that and that may slow down a
00:23:55.320 little bit at some point but right now a lot of boats are coming through the naval blockade has
00:24:00.200 been extremely effective zero i mean literally while it's up and it's been for quite a while
00:24:06.120 you know except for a couple of little pauses where we opened it purposely at uh with a deal
00:24:11.080 but the deal didn't terminate you know the deal didn't turn out to be what they said you know
00:24:15.040 when they tell us one thing and they do another but the blockade has been 100 successful no boats
00:24:21.000 have gotten into iran but they are getting in for other places but we'll see we're going to
00:24:25.740 see what happens uh it'll either be extremely good and oil prices are going to drop like a rock or
00:24:31.460 we'll continue to do exactly what we're doing you know uh they were talking about 350 a barrel
00:24:37.560 and it's today 84 85 and uh we are getting a lot of oil out but the other thing that's happened is
00:24:45.620 people have found other alternatives which they never thought about texas alaska louisiana and
00:24:52.260 other places in addition a lot of pipelines record numbers of pipelines are being built
00:24:56.300 so uh i think the harm most rates are going to be quite as important as it was in the past
00:25:01.600 It's interesting, and I wonder if that's part of everything that we're seeing play out.
00:25:06.580 It's that part of the plan.
00:25:09.360 The U.S. military with a multi-week campaign doing exactly what he described to blind Iranian radar surveillance
00:25:17.000 so they can't detect these ships that are coming through.
00:25:21.380 And when they're coming through, traveling in single-file lines and near the coast of Oman.
00:25:28.460 that's what's making all of this out hope not too much of this now being put out there and him
00:25:34.540 talking about as he mentioned that you're not hearing about this in the news 10 million barrels
00:25:39.560 a day half of what it was that's that's not too shabby it's it's not exactly what we want but it
00:25:46.300 essentially takes the teeth out of anything that they want to do it takes it completely off and
00:25:52.160 any card that they may have left off the table and that's why you're hearing what you're hearing
00:25:57.600 the day with Economic D-Day, and of course
00:25:59.560 the Secretary of the Treasury, Scott
00:26:01.420 Besson, saying those resources
00:26:03.560 also being surged for the United
00:26:05.380 States to construct
00:26:06.940 pipelines. Some of them
00:26:09.260 we've heard about already, but the oil pipelines
00:26:11.560 to diminish, as the President
00:26:13.340 mentioned there, the importance of the strait
00:26:15.200 over the next
00:26:17.280 course of the next year or two or more, and
00:26:19.640 we will be watching
00:26:21.580 as
00:26:23.520 we see some nights
00:26:25.640 I think 15
00:26:27.080 15 million barrels or more have even hit so it's on average about 10 moving through like i said
00:26:34.060 that's about half of what they normally do this is this is again a piece of this that uh you're
00:26:44.800 just the context you're you're just not gonna get now i'll say this one more time because this is
00:26:51.600 important to win the midterms we don't have to have gas in the two dollar range but boy would
00:26:59.580 it make things a lot easier and i think a lot of it you're going to see coming from the folks who
00:27:04.680 are running these candidates particularly on the right um you're going to see that but there is
00:27:10.460 also math that says we don't we don't necessarily have to have those things here's what i mean
00:27:19.320 There is math out there that when you dig in and you do the calculations, essentially says that we don't have to have, you know, all the perfect scenarios and atmosphere for the course of Republicans to hold on to the House and the Senate.
00:27:40.400 Now, what does that math look like?
00:27:42.880 Well, I'll just give you a glimpse into this because, again, I'm not, you know, I'm not the foremost expert on these types of things.
00:27:51.080 I'm more am watching what's happening on the ground.
00:27:54.660 I'm watching what people are looking at, what they're paying attention to, what the sentiment is on the ground.
00:28:01.620 But as the way I understand this, and maybe I can pull up the full for some of you numbers, folks.
00:28:10.620 And the number that we need to hold on to the Senate and the races that are in play are, in fact, it's fewer that we need than the actual need for the Democrats are.
00:28:30.480 You throw that in, essentially, with the factor of what's happening in the Senate as well, and you're coming out with a better number.
00:28:42.520 Not only that, but this is based upon exactly how much money we got, what's happening in the Democrat Party.
00:28:50.360 And here's a problem.
00:28:51.240 And I'll just tell you, this is a problem for both parties right now.
00:28:56.580 There is a bit of an enthusiasm issue on both sides.
00:29:00.000 There's a bit of a malaise on both sides.
00:29:03.820 That's why you're seeing what's happening on the flip side of things with the rise of the Democrat socialists.
00:29:14.440 This is the issue that they're facing.
00:29:19.880 They're not excited.
00:29:21.020 Democrats, people on the left, not excited.
00:29:25.040 They're just not excited about any of this.
00:29:30.000 So, who is exciting?
00:29:33.660 It is the young, it is that socialist, the naive, they don't have any idea what any of this stuff really means.
00:29:39.120 It is that group of people who are running out, voting for candidates, getting fired up, and the money, and the money at the same time, is drying up as well.
00:29:52.660 So, let me paint the picture.
00:29:54.180 Here's the numbers for you.
00:29:55.660 I knew I had this in my notes somewhere.
00:29:58.140 Republicans only need six of 18 swing seats in order to keep the House.
00:30:07.200 There is a report in Cook Political Report.
00:30:09.900 Republicans are already at 212 likely on those seats.
00:30:14.700 So we need six of the 18 that are swings.
00:30:20.020 We've already got 212 likely in the full count.
00:30:23.940 so that means we only need to win six of those 18 you need to hit 218 to hold the house
00:30:32.920 so we need six of the 18 true swing districts for a house majority as they describe it
00:30:39.980 while democrats in order to take control in the house must capture 13 of those 18 it's just a
00:30:49.960 math equation that's all we're talking about simple math i know we have narratives i know we
00:30:56.800 have stories and look but quite quite frankly the enthusiasm on the ground is is a big deal
00:31:05.960 in michigan where i'm at we saw massive turnout in the primary just a week or two back
00:31:12.140 for democrats republicans not so much i think they had about half the turnout as democrats
00:31:18.580 Why is that? I called it a while back. It's just enthusiasm. The enthusiasm gap. That's a big issue. These are things that have to be calculated in. They're important. But the math says it right now. Republicans only need six out of 18 swing seats to keep the House. According to Cook Political Report, they already have 212 likely.
00:31:42.200 that means they only need to win six out of the eight Democrats got to get 13 out of the 18
00:31:48.660 excuse me I said six out of the eight I mean six out of the 18 that's right
00:31:53.280 uh so Democrats needing 13 out of the 18 and here's another big number and in fact these are
00:32:02.220 these are these are numbers uh probably that matter even more so although we've seen some
00:32:08.880 We've seen some interesting, really interesting twists in spending here lately,
00:32:14.460 particularly in Florida in the primary where Vendman spent, I think it was like close to $10 million.
00:32:19.200 His socialist opponent spent about $700,000, and she won that race.
00:32:25.260 Again, I think that's probably an enthusiasm issue.
00:32:29.880 But this is the money that will make a big bang with the bucks, at least anyway.
00:32:35.420 And the RNC is sitting on roughly $130 million right now.
00:32:41.560 The DNC, $2 million in the hole.
00:32:45.720 They're in debt, so they don't have money to throw at some of these candidates,
00:32:51.840 even if they wanted to.
00:32:52.780 Not all their candidates are great either.
00:32:54.860 That's why shining a spotlight on some of these freaks like Abdul Rahman Muhammad Al-Sayed.
00:33:03.940 That's the full official.
00:33:05.420 got to say that name
00:33:07.680 because it drives him crazy.
00:33:09.840 Why are you saying his full name?
00:33:11.540 Why wouldn't I say his full name?
00:33:18.300 Why is he hiding his full name?
00:33:20.040 That's the interesting part anyway.
00:33:21.900 The DNC in debt, $2 million.
00:33:24.500 Republicans hold a nearly
00:33:26.280 3-to-1 fundraising edge.
00:33:28.780 Now you do have fake polls.
00:33:30.180 That's a whole other thing.
00:33:31.740 You do have some of the media
00:33:33.040 spin the narratives
00:33:33.920 that they're trying to push.
00:33:35.000 and by the in-kind contributions from the media that will try to depress the turnout.
00:33:41.020 Again, that's the enthusiasm issue, but I want you to know these things
00:33:44.420 because there are a lot of people out there that right now are freaked out,
00:33:49.080 and look, I want you to be engaged, but I don't ever want you to be freaked out
00:33:55.020 and feared like a run-around chicken little with the head cut off.
00:33:58.840 Sky is falling, doom and gloom, black-pilling, like nothing's going to work out.
00:34:03.960 I don't want you there either.
00:34:07.340 Want to provide clarity.
00:34:09.980 Want to give you the truth.
00:34:11.700 Want to make sure that I give you some hope, too, along with it.
00:34:14.860 All of those things, fake polls, media narratives, they're going to try to press turnout.
00:34:20.360 But the math, the math is the key here.
00:34:22.640 And the numbers, again, not just the seat numbers.
00:34:26.740 There's money involved in this, too.
00:34:28.620 That's very important.
00:34:30.100 You've got to count that as well.
00:34:33.100 can't count the kitchen the chickens before they hatch but you got to count all of this
00:34:37.540 as you uh as you do the details on it a strong ground game too you got to throw that in there
00:34:43.740 and and there are some that that look at this and say look we're very excited about what's coming
00:34:49.440 in november and that also may be part of what gives the president the strength to call it the
00:34:57.640 economic d-day to to really focus on iran and as they plan that he's got his back up against the
00:35:05.780 wall in this game of chicken they plan that maybe they can get him to move because he he's at risk
00:35:13.560 of losing and of course the impeachment starts and all that by the way folks that is all going
00:35:17.800 to happen they've got all of that planned and uh they win the senate of course democrats will get
00:35:23.380 rid of the filibuster, packed the Supreme Court, all those things that they want to
00:35:26.400 do in due time, all of the things that the Republicans are too afraid to do, it seems
00:35:31.580 like, at the same time, that's all on the list.
00:35:36.300 It's all part and parcel of what they want to do.
00:35:39.340 And don't, listen, don't get it twisted.
00:35:44.120 These races are some of the most critical.
00:35:46.740 I know in the state that I'm at, it's one of the most critical that we've ever faced.
00:35:54.240 So that should be part of the calculations as well.
00:35:58.700 All right.
00:35:59.740 888-727-BECK.
00:36:01.240 That's 888-727-BECK.
00:36:03.180 We've got a lot coming up today.
00:36:04.520 We've got Dinesh D'Souza joining us coming up next hour.
00:36:07.440 Got a great conversation.
00:36:09.040 Let me dig into it with him.
00:36:11.440 You know, it's really fascinating to me.
00:36:14.560 Some of the cultural things, especially in August, when things kind of die down.
00:36:18.040 This is going to get a little bit of a slow news day.
00:36:20.200 we got a lot of cultural stories right now that are that are coming out yesterday i talked to you
00:36:24.920 about some of these issues that we're seeing with kids in schools and again it is back to school so
00:36:28.800 we know we've got some of the worst of the worst in detroit they're paying kids to show up and go
00:36:34.620 to school they don't even know reading writing and arithmetic they're more focused focused on
00:36:39.520 dei than they are abcs and one two threes we know these are the problems that have led us to the
00:36:47.300 point where they don't they just don't get it they don't understand this this socialism this 0.84
00:36:53.620 big commie jihadi sort of rise that we're seeing in the democrat party it's very attractive to them 0.72
00:36:58.120 because they've got people that are coming out and they're saying we see you we see your problems 0.99
00:37:03.820 and we're going to solve them these are the same people that that caused the problems the arsonists
00:37:08.180 are posing as firefighters now that's the best way to put this but how's it going because they've
00:37:13.700 And a little bit of time.
00:37:14.960 How's it going in places like New York City?
00:37:18.060 A little bit of an update coming up after this on the Glenn Beck Program.
00:37:20.880 Justin, back after this.
00:37:24.360 Underneath left and right labels is a common craving for truth.
00:37:29.400 Feed yours at glennbeck.com.
00:37:32.200 Glenn Beck is on.

00:38:43.340 right here it's kind of hard to convince uh some of the folks who are a little younger they've
00:39:00.520 never seen communism socialism and how it's it's failed millions upon millions dead throughout the
00:39:05.420 centuries but uh you know maybe we can explain it to them with recent events how's commie mom
00:39:13.020 dolly doing in new york city how do you feel about how zorman donnie is doing here in new york
00:39:16.560 there's such a delightful disconnect between how he's doing and how people think he's doing
00:39:20.100 he's doing terribly there's homeless everywhere they're just spending money they don't have
00:39:24.700 but to these kids just like they spend their parents money in college they actually think
00:39:28.900 oh he balanced the budget no he borrowed like 45 what was it 45 billion dollars from the state
00:39:34.480 right where he deferred like tax payment some payments with interest or something like this
00:39:38.740 isn't success it's not successful to defer payments you owe and to rack up debt to the state but the
00:39:45.380 problem of course people like this he's so smart he moved in here he took advantage of liberality
00:39:50.140 it swore not the people who by the way how i think only 10 percent of the city voted in the
00:39:54.200 mayoral election right the people making the city make money are not voting for him it really is
00:39:59.200 fascinating by the way uh how's that grocery free groceries scam going we got an update on that we'll
00:40:07.140 We'll try and dig into that a little bit later in the program as well.
00:40:11.040 Dinesh D'Souza joins us coming up at the top of the next hour.

00:42:37.460 He's got a fascinating new book that I just love,
00:42:41.320 what I've seen him talk about and read just pieces of it.
00:42:45.880 Looks incredible, and it's, I'll tell you, the time has come.
00:42:50.580 Never been a better time for this.
00:42:51.820 We'll dig into it, the history and archaeology that's proving the Bible.
00:42:59.440 coming up with you after this just an end for glenn today on the glennbeck program

00:44:10.860 we get right to talk to best-selling author filmmaker dinesh d'souza on a brand new project
00:44:25.500 that i'm i'm just fascinated by i absolutely love again history archaeology proving the bible which
00:44:33.040 i think uh i think everybody ought to hear and but i want to start with this first because i
00:44:37.220 actually think it connects uh dinesh welcome in appreciate you being here with us today on the
00:44:42.200 glenn beck program hey it's a pleasure thanks for having me absolutely so here we we've got a a
00:44:49.960 tweet that i saw earlier on x this morning um and i thought boy this does tie in and i've seen this
00:44:57.240 it's ai okay so folks when we're looking at this day and age whereas again we talked about glenn's
00:45:04.160 talked about so much in the past about how ai uh it can fool us on nearly everything uh we got to
00:45:10.820 be very careful about what we're putting into it and what we're taking out of it and it's just an
00:45:14.620 example that you've shared here that people are showing that uh that there's getting back answers
00:45:19.260 on ai what to do if you feel you are uncomfortable around a certain person a black person uh muslim
00:45:27.140 christian etc um and they're all different answers uh they'll say it's a normal normal
00:45:32.620 this person is normal everyday person a black person is normal being alone it's fine or just
00:45:36.800 another person but when you type in you feel unsafe or you'll be alone with a white person
00:45:42.120 if you feel unsafe or uncomfortable right now please remove yourself from the situation
00:45:46.460 it's just wild we're seeing this it's baked into the ai i'll let you comment on that dinesh but i
00:45:54.220 think this is why it's so important right now that we engage with truth get a foundation of truth and
00:46:00.600 believe your new project will help more and more people do that well the the post that you referred
00:46:07.880 to kind of shows you how ai works right and sometimes sometimes ai can be hugely helpful
00:46:15.240 it uh it can scour the internet for obscure information that would otherwise take us a long
00:46:20.520 time to find but the downside in is that it is a little bit of garbage in garbage out if it's 0.97
00:46:25.880 programmed a certain way, like identify the white heterosexual Christian male as the problem of 0.99
00:46:32.300 society, then suddenly in the world of AI, that guy becomes the most dangerous guy on the planet, 0.61
00:46:39.120 even though, of course, the statistics would hardly bear that out. In fact, it's the kind of
00:46:43.460 the opposite. So here's AI giving you misleading and very bad advice, which is essentially be on
00:46:50.460 your guard against white people. And so, yes, truth becomes extremely important. And my project,
00:46:59.180 my new book, it's called A Stone's Cry Out. It's a survey of 150 years of biblical archaeology,
00:47:06.600 and it shows the cumulative evidence of the way in which artifact after artifact
00:47:13.560 is supporting the historicity of the Bible.
00:47:18.660 I'm not looking at the theology of the Bible or the miracles.
00:47:22.000 The Bible just records a series of people and places and events,
00:47:26.100 and those can be sort of checked out against the evidence of archaeology.
00:47:30.600 It's really a fascinating journey for me.
00:47:32.780 I've been studying this for three years.
00:47:34.760 I'm super excited for this book coming out shortly.
00:47:37.980 It can be preordered now on Amazon.
00:47:40.760 What is, Dinesh, to maybe some of the bigger stories that have really blown you away?
00:47:46.560 I just went to the Museum of the Bible not too long ago, and they have a, at least they did at the time, lots of great exhibits.
00:47:54.020 But one specifically showing a mosaic, and it was in this home of these folks, Christians, who met early on.
00:48:02.580 And again, just seeing these things up close, you can actually, you're just steps away.
00:48:08.680 you could reach down and touch it i don't recommend doing that but you you really could
00:48:12.740 you could see it with your own eyes you're transported to that moment in time that's in this
00:48:17.840 this book that some people you know they look at and go i just i just don't those are just stories
00:48:24.120 i don't know but you're saying you can actually see through the archaeological finds this these
00:48:31.980 historic finds that that these stories they can be corroborated it's really quite mind-blowing
00:48:40.460 because in some cases you wouldn't expect to find anything i mean think of a guy like abraham you
00:48:46.960 know the um the patriarch he was a nomad he never had a house he lived in tents he moved cattle
00:48:54.000 around so how would you expect to find a single sort of footprint of abraham uh or even jesus
00:49:00.640 Jesus was himself kind of a nomad. He'd stayed with Peter in his mother-in-law's house. He stayed
00:49:05.900 with Mary at their house. And again, how can we walk in the footsteps of Jesus? But it turns out,
00:49:14.500 and here, a little bit of, part of it is a little bit of archaeological luck, but part of it also
00:49:20.280 is that some of these sites have been venerated by Christians since early times. And in the second
00:49:26.500 century, there was a pagan emperor named Hadrian. He knew where these sites were. He knew actually
00:49:32.600 where Jesus was born. He knew where the early Christians, who by the way, very close to the
00:49:37.380 apostles, they venerated the home where Jesus, for example, grew up in Nazareth. And so in order to
00:49:43.640 stamp these sites out, Hadrian built pagan monuments on top of them to like get rid of them. 0.68
00:49:50.260 But little did he know that by doing that, he was marking the site so that in later centuries,
00:49:56.500 when people went back to find out where these sites were,
00:49:59.320 they might otherwise have been completely lost to history.
00:50:02.340 But, of course, in the 4th century, when Constantine converted to Christianity,
00:50:06.500 his mother came to Jerusalem to find these sites, and she knew exactly where to look.
00:50:10.420 She found the pagan monuments, she took them down,
00:50:13.380 and then she built churches on those sites.
00:50:15.840 So this is a kind of interesting twist of archaeological history.
00:50:19.900 It's part of the reason we're able to more reliably,
00:50:23.140 and now, of course, there's been subsequent archaeological work,
00:50:25.940 confirm where these sites are.
00:50:29.460 Dinesh D'Souza is with us right now. The book, The Stones Cry Out, Biblical Archaeology Prophecy
00:50:35.180 in the Last Days. Okay, so what are some of the most interesting sites? You know, you just
00:50:40.840 mentioned a few of them. Is there anything that just blows you away?
00:50:44.500 Well, let's start with one from the New Testament. There's the great scene of the
00:50:48.560 trial of Jesus, and it occurs before Pontius Pilate. Now, there have been since the 19th
00:50:57.440 century two schools of skepticism about Pontius Pilate. The first school basically said there was
00:51:03.360 no such person as Pontius Pilate. This is a fabricated account written by gospel writers
00:51:08.920 who wrote much later than the events they purported describe. The second school is called
00:51:15.440 minimalist. They minimize the account. They're like, well, Pontius Pilate is described in the
00:51:20.760 Bible as the prefect of Judea. But in reality, the Bible writers got his title wrong. We know
00:51:28.480 from Tacitus, who talks about that very position, that the person occupying that position was the
00:51:34.720 procurator, the kind of financial administrator, not the prefect. So the idea here is that the
00:51:40.840 Bible writers were kind of careless. They didn't really know they were getting their accounts
00:51:45.360 second or third hand now in northern israel uh several years ago out of the ground comes a stone
00:51:53.940 inscription and um astoundingly it says the following it's dedicated to the emperor tiberius
00:52:00.920 so tiberius's name appears at the top and right below that the person who who dedicated the stone
00:52:06.200 pontius pilate prefect of judea so not only is there like decisive confirmation of the existence
00:52:14.480 of Pilate. But it turns out that the Bible writers got his title absolutely correct. What happened is
00:52:20.700 in subsequent centuries, the Romans changed the title to procurator. And so these skeptics are
00:52:25.920 like, aha, from the second century and the third century. But in the time of Jesus, he was prefect
00:52:32.300 of Judea. So this is a small example, but very important because suddenly Pontius Pilate jumps
00:52:38.040 out of the Bible and into the pages of history via the pathway of archaeology.
00:52:44.480 What is this book and these discoveries, what kind of an impact is it having on people?
00:52:55.140 I know, look, faith is one thing, and it requires something that maybe, you know, you lack proof,
00:53:01.440 although I can tell you I've seen proof in existence in my life through faith,
00:53:05.080 But what is it doing for people? Is it changing their perspective? What have you seen?
00:53:12.160 I'm trying to accomplish three things with the book. I mean, the first is to confirm the historicity of the Bible.
00:53:20.560 Because think about it, if the historical account of the Bible is true, the rest of it is more likely to be true.
00:53:26.960 And by the way, you cannot do this kind of archaeology with any other religious book.
00:53:31.420 No one has even attempted to do archaeology on the Koran or the Hindu scriptures or the Buddhist scriptures.
00:53:37.360 Only the Bible can withstand 150 years of withering skeptical scrutiny with, by the way, not a single important archaeological finding to date that contradicts the Bible.
00:53:50.040 So that's very important.
00:53:51.300 But the second thing is the archaeology also shows, by the way, the presence of the Jews in their ancient homeland.
00:53:56.560 right when I hear people say things like the Jews are colonizers I'm like wait
00:54:00.700 how do you colonize your own land I mean this is like accusing the Indians of 0.99
00:54:04.240 colonizing India it's kind of dumb and the third thing is that Western 0.93
00:54:08.300 civilization is built on the pillars of Athens and Jerusalem and this book 0.97
00:54:14.120 supports the Jerusalem pillar of Athens and Jerusalem so the point being here
00:54:18.940 that even for someone who's not that religious there are important cultural
00:54:23.620 and political implications to this kind of work over and above the religious ones.
00:54:30.120 Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck Program, and Dinesh D'Souza is with us in

00:56:08.500 Dinesh D'Souza with us right now.
00:56:10.680 New book, The Stones Cry Out, Biblical Archaeology Prophecy.
00:56:14.260 in the last days in Dinesh, what do you hear?
00:56:18.540 I mean, I'm sure you hear from some skeptics, and I think, you know, fine, be a skeptic.
00:56:24.180 Genuinely skeptic is skeptical is fine, because it means you're actually seeking the truth.
00:56:29.640 What do you hear from people that are skeptical of what you're doing
00:56:33.500 or what maybe these archaeological digs?
00:56:37.280 What are you hearing from those folks?
00:56:39.100 so here's the um here's the big story about all this when archaeology first started this is really
00:56:47.060 the middle of the 19th century the skeptics were really confident that it would be used as a
00:56:52.800 really effective battering ram against the bible this all started out by the way with george smith
00:56:59.040 about 1872 he discovered these sort of flood narratives in mesopotamia and he goes since
00:57:06.560 those are much older than the Bible, he goes, whoa, the Bible writers just
00:57:10.440 plagiarized their so-called flood account, the Noah story, from
00:57:14.700 the Mesopotamian narratives. So this gave a lot
00:57:18.620 of confidence to the skeptics that as the years progressed
00:57:22.640 they would be able to debunk the Bible. Well, unfortunately it hasn't turned
00:57:26.740 out that way. What's happened is there has been, starting in the 19th century
00:57:30.820 but really exploding since the formation of the state of Israel
00:57:34.280 And then most of the most important archaeological science are in the last 25 years.
00:57:40.140 And what's happened is as each one comes out, the skeptic takes like a blow to the stomach and they try to retreat by coming up with a different type of skepticism.
00:57:49.680 So a really good example was the skeptic said for a long time, King David is a mythical king.
00:57:55.780 He's like King Arthur.
00:57:57.220 He's a legend.
00:57:57.980 And then out of the northern part of Israel, the Tel Dan Steli, a kind of monument, comes out of the ground.
00:58:04.200 And a rival king, King Hazael of Syria, is boasting about his victories over the, quote, House of David.
00:58:11.760 And so, boom, suddenly, and remember, this is not even coming from the Israelites. 0.55
00:58:16.040 It's coming from a hostile source.
00:58:17.900 This guy's saying, wow, I just crushed the House of David.
00:58:21.220 Well, obviously, there's a House of David.
00:58:23.320 There's a Davidic dynasty.
00:58:24.860 And there's a King David.
00:58:26.040 So then the skeptic has to back off, and the skeptic will now say something like, well, yeah, we admit there was a King David, but we doubt that he was an important and influential king. 0.90
00:58:37.540 Jerusalem was a kind of a cow town.
00:58:39.860 He never had a palace. 0.65
00:58:41.440 And then about 10 years later, out of the ground, boom, here comes David's palace.
00:58:47.120 Huge walls, giant pillars, all dated to the, you know, 1000 BC, which is when David reigned.
00:58:53.900 And then the skeptics have to now say, well, it's not really a palace.
00:58:58.040 We think it was a royal administrative building and it might have been finished after David's time under Solomon.
00:59:04.280 So you see what's going on here.
00:59:05.620 What you have is a school of skeptics who are forced to face new evidence and then back off and revise their skepticism.
00:59:14.620 So they haven't given up.
00:59:15.620 They haven't said, OK, we're wrong.
00:59:16.940 What they do rather is they modify their claims again and again in the face of emerging evidence.
00:59:23.700 But my point is the evidence is only going in one direction toward corroborating rather than undermining the Bible.
00:59:32.060 Moving the goalposts, that's interesting.
00:59:33.460 Dinesh D'Souza with us right now, Stones Cry Out.
00:59:36.200 What's it been like standing in those places that are in the Bible?
00:59:42.580 It is a very eerie feeling.
00:59:45.360 And by the way, the book has all kinds of timelines and maps and photos and even QR codes
00:59:52.160 where it takes you to videos of basically me standing at these sites.
00:59:57.080 So I'll give you one example of how creepy this is in a kind of great way, right?
01:00:03.160 So the high priest Caiaphas is the guy who presides over the trial of Jesus.
01:00:08.920 He's one of the villains of the Bible.
01:00:11.640 And a few decades ago, digging in the priestly quarter of Jerusalem, where the aristocrats lived,
01:00:17.700 out of the ground comes these stone boxes.
01:00:20.420 They're called ossuaries.
01:00:22.180 And in the first century AD, if you died, you were buried in a tomb.
01:00:26.400 But when your body decayed, they would take your bones out and put it in a box and put your name on it.
01:00:31.980 So the archaeologists are surveying these boxes.
01:00:34.660 And one of them is really ornate.
01:00:37.140 And here's what it says.
01:00:38.420 It says, Yehoshaph Bar-Kaiapha. 0.60
01:00:42.480 So, Yehoshaph is Joseph.
01:00:44.520 That's the high priest's first name.
01:00:46.440 Bar, son of, Kaiapha, Caiaphas.
01:00:50.180 And they open the box, and inside the box are the bones of a 60-year-old man.
01:00:56.000 They date the bones.
01:00:57.500 It dates to the first century AD.
01:01:00.480 So, who is it?
01:01:01.800 It's Caiaphas.
01:01:02.660 And here's my point.
01:01:03.640 You're not just looking at his name on some inscription.
01:01:06.700 you're actually looking at the guy's bones.
01:01:09.140 So imagine the feeling of those of us, you know,
01:01:11.380 who have heard about the trial of Jesus since we were children.
01:01:14.600 We know these names.
01:01:15.800 We hear about them preached in church.
01:01:18.460 And yet here you are standing,
01:01:20.100 and you're looking at the bones of the high priest.
01:01:24.200 What an incredible moment.
01:01:26.740 In the book, The Stones Cry Out, Dinesh D'Souza.
01:01:30.080 How is this, before I let you go,
01:01:31.680 how is this writing this, doing the research,
01:01:35.400 to the investigation. How has it changed you? Well, it is just exhilarating for me as a Christian
01:01:42.620 to see the things that I believed on the basis of faith now being affirmed as a matter of fact.
01:01:50.360 Because what it really shows is that our faith is not just kind of hovering in the air. It's not
01:01:56.220 sort of this, you know, the Bible isn't just this collection of parables or morality tales.
01:02:02.440 Unfortunately, it's often taught that way, even in church, right?
01:02:05.520 A pastor will teach you about Jeremiah, but he won't tell you what century the guy lived
01:02:09.780 in, what were the circumstances, who were the rival kings and empires at the time.
01:02:15.040 You don't get a sense of the historicity of the Bible, I think in part because pastors
01:02:19.440 aren't trained to do that.
01:02:21.400 And so kind of the purpose of this book is to bridge the gap between the academic world
01:02:27.480 of archaeology and the great light that it throws on the Bible.
01:02:32.120 not only corroborating the Bible, but in some cases giving you added information that's not
01:02:38.120 even in the Bible. Yeah, that is incredible. And again, as someone of faith, my faith is beyond
01:02:46.560 whatever I can see, but boy, when I can see it and putting my eyes on it, wrapping my head around it
01:02:54.440 and through the book, I think that's quite an added value. The stones cry out. The Nashda

01:05:07.540 all over the place
01:05:08.100 having some great conversations
01:05:09.180 with folks online today as well
01:05:11.800 and we were talking about it
01:05:13.380 before we had a fantastic conversation
01:05:15.440 with Dinesh D'Souza
01:05:16.380 who is always great at pointing out
01:05:21.420 the truth and of course in many different cases we are finding out the truth just isn't necessarily
01:05:28.620 what they've told us in different narratives and yet uh we are finding truth holding strong
01:05:35.880 foundationally in other places as well it's it's it's funny i just i just watched a clip
01:05:42.720 i think i'm playing here but it's an old clip from nightline i think i did i tweet to share
01:05:48.020 this out on uh on x2 yeah i think i i think i did at mr justin barkley over next but it's an old
01:05:53.260 clip rush limbaugh debating al gore at the time about uh climate crisis at the time this is like
01:06:05.760 1992 it's it's funny some things just never change uh but rush was describing in that uh in
01:06:13.820 that particular crisis after crisis after crisis that they have to deal with and how everything
01:06:19.680 is always presented in a way that it makes you suspend your thinking it's almost like it's
01:06:28.360 intentional you got to suspend your thinking and any criticism on what it is that you're being
01:06:34.540 told is happening and what you then need to do in order to address what we all must do the
01:06:40.040 sacrifice that must be made um and in fact uh it's it's really interesting to see this confronting
01:06:45.960 with truth what is actually happening we played a little bit of clips in new yorkers not excited
01:06:50.540 about what's happening like now we got these socialist commie jihadi socialists that are
01:06:56.320 running like uh el syed in michigan um and and the latest nixon down in florida running for senate
01:07:04.880 now these people are running for a position that they want to boss remember that's part of the
01:07:10.000 platform socialists want to get rid of the senate uh but anyway how's it going how's it going we
01:07:18.420 look back in the dusty pages of history books and it's hard to really convince uh many kids
01:07:26.360 there are many younger folks who didn't get they don't know that i say commie jihadian again they
01:07:31.120 don't know this these are not bad words to them they have no idea what i'm talking about what's
01:07:35.400 a commie what's a communist no clue socialism they they have no idea they pianist guy it's all
01:07:43.840 just free everything net they have no idea that it's ever been tried and it's failed so let's
01:07:50.120 look at real time how things are going we heard earlier the description from a man in new york
01:07:54.700 city who said mom donnie's failing how about this remember the free grocery stores they want to do
01:08:02.620 first of all says we're gonna we're gonna pay for your grocery free we got these grocery stores
01:08:08.460 they're gonna set up city-run grocery stores now now it's been announced they're not just
01:08:15.860 gonna do city regressions you know problem with city-run grocery stores and it's a big one
01:08:19.860 kind of obvious to most folks that have a couple of brain cells to rub together here but
01:08:25.040 uh problem with these grocery stores is that they're going to put the other private run
01:08:32.720 grocery stores out of business they have a solution for that too and it's the goals of
01:08:37.620 these locations not just here in east harlem but you know any borough location is to be
01:08:41.300 complimentary to the neighborhood um and really you know rising tides right uh we can we can all
01:08:47.420 cooperate and work together in a meaningful way i think this is the woman is this the one who's
01:08:52.500 in charge of some of the 0.95
01:08:54.580 grocery stores. Oh, this
01:08:56.460 is! One of the lead
01:08:58.540 officials for Mayor Mom Domini's
01:09:00.200 in New York City Groceries
01:09:02.420 talking about
01:09:04.440 and if you saw her, boy, holy
01:09:06.420 cow, you'd 1.00
01:09:08.500 know, shaved head.
01:09:11.780 The
01:09:12.340 eyes are the giveaway. The eyes are
01:09:14.380 always, it's always the eyes.
01:09:18.260 Not looking well.
01:09:20.660 I don't know. I'm just
01:09:22.220 i i don't spend too much time on the appearance but i think it it does i think it does play in
01:09:28.100 here do you mind what what is the i've heard that that term from edc officials that these are meant
01:09:33.180 to be complementary what does that mean what does that complementary mean in terms of policy
01:09:38.880 operations and things like that yeah i think we're you know as an agency looking at a number of
01:09:43.680 different complementary you know policies and programs grants incentives that can come alongside
01:09:48.980 these grocery stores to support other you know local independent businesses you know in the
01:09:53.860 neighborhoods um we're going to continue to listen and we're going to continue to engage
01:09:58.500 um and i'll be you know alongside the operator as our partner um and like i said making sure
01:10:03.300 that we are complementary to um the other businesses that are here okay so what she's
01:10:08.260 saying you can't necessarily hear this but two things that are happening you get with a lot of
01:10:14.020 these folks and they want to tell you she's not she's doing it subtly but they when they want to
01:10:18.660 convince you of something that isn't necessarily making sense what they do is they sort of
01:10:28.260 raise their voice in the tone at the end of the sentence of the thing that they're trying to tell
01:10:34.420 you because it doesn't make sense but they're trying to there it's a manipulation that's trying
01:10:39.700 to like influence you and get you to come along with them yeah let's jump off the bridge together
01:10:45.860 It's going to be fantastic.
01:10:48.860 We'll do it for the greater good of the company.
01:10:53.440 That's essentially what they're getting at.
01:10:56.140 So what is she saying through that weird thing that she's doing with her voice?
01:11:01.560 She's saying that not only are they going to be paying for you, and by the way, you, if you're in New York City, you're in the state of the year.
01:11:09.400 Because remember, again, it's not just New York City.
01:11:11.680 The entire state now is funding the madness that is happening inside of the city
01:11:16.500 because they had to bail them out.
01:11:18.240 They didn't have enough money to do the budget.
01:11:20.840 The clip we played earlier was a guy talking about, you know,
01:11:23.200 well, they're going to balance the budget.
01:11:28.480 And he said that Mom Donnie, the sycophants, the fans that said,
01:11:31.600 they balanced the budget.
01:11:32.740 No, they took billions of dollars from the state.
01:11:36.120 They had to take it.
01:11:37.020 They had to get bailed out.
01:11:39.700 In his first days in office, New York City is already an abject failure.
01:11:46.900 So we have a real-time, a lot of people say, well, thank goodness.
01:11:51.220 Thank goodness we have something we can point to.
01:11:54.220 Thank goodness we have something we can monitor, we can see in real time what is actually happening with these crazy, out-of-touch policies.
01:12:03.680 so that when you get folks like El Syed in Michigan and Nixon down in Florida
01:12:08.920 and all of these different individuals,
01:12:12.120 you can see what is literally the failure that's happening as we speak.
01:12:17.680 And in Mondani's case, not only are they going to fund the city-run stores,
01:12:23.640 but then they're going to give grants to the failing stores.
01:12:30.100 Make any of this make sense.
01:12:33.680 And where does all of the money come from?
01:12:35.900 It's a Ponzi scheme.
01:12:37.500 The whole thing is absolute insanity.
01:12:41.080 But it doesn't matter, and I'll tell you why.
01:12:44.400 Because as I mentioned yesterday, and it's clear why these things, they're not being taught history.
01:12:50.100 They're not even being taught ABCs and 1-2-3s.
01:12:52.660 They're being taught DEI and oppression and Marxism.
01:12:57.320 And, of course, there's always, you know, you just believe whatever we tell you,
01:13:03.120 and that's the rule of the day from this.
01:13:05.220 They continue to change what is and what the definition of is is.
01:13:10.800 They change it every day to meet whatever need it is.
01:13:15.100 But what I'm saying is, in other words, they can't even do math.
01:13:19.900 that story we had yesterday
01:13:23.420 is the UC Berkeley
01:13:25.960 professor ringing the alarm of the fact that
01:13:27.800 kids can't even do
01:13:29.840 fractions that are coming into
01:13:31.900 in the county they can't do
01:13:33.520 they have no either UC Berkeley
01:13:35.600 took away the ACT and the SAT
01:13:37.320 they don't have any way of screening these kids 1.00
01:13:39.800 that are coming in
01:13:40.620 it's
01:13:42.680 it's just absolutely
01:13:45.720 wild
01:13:46.900 but it is
01:13:49.540 it is it is happening and uh i don't think we played i don't think we played it yesterday
01:13:56.400 but uh there was a fantastic uh waters did the uh the guy that goes out and asks the questions
01:14:08.260 used to be jesse used to do this himself but uh he's he's got a guy that does this on his show now
01:14:13.680 and they're at the beach
01:14:15.560 and they're talking to kids
01:14:17.160 at the beach, asking
01:14:19.560 them simple civics
01:14:21.540 questions. Who is Donald Trump's
01:14:23.820 vice president? Am I supposed
01:14:25.680 to know this? Couldn't tell you. Don't pay attention.
01:14:28.180 I couldn't tell you.
01:14:31.500 J.D. Vance.
01:14:33.100 Vice president, vice president.
01:14:36.880 I don't know.
01:14:38.260 J.K. Relling.
01:14:39.820 I'm the Red Wizard Harry.
01:14:41.760 Name the three branches of government.
01:14:45.880 I don't know why I chose to do this.
01:14:47.520 Oh, God, I'm bad with all this.
01:14:50.000 Congress and conservative.
01:14:52.260 Republican, Democrat.
01:14:55.280 This is who's in these schools right now.
01:15:00.540 Now, I mean, these Jersey Shore may not be the cream of the crop in some of the ivy,
01:15:06.760 but, you know, this is, you can't really blame these kids.
01:15:10.720 They've been indoctrinated.
01:15:12.240 They've been brainwashed.
01:15:13.400 And they've completely missed out because they haven't gotten any of it.
01:15:19.700 So no wonder this stuff is, no wonder it's working on them.
01:15:25.380 No wonder.
01:15:26.260 And their problems are real.
01:15:28.520 They can't dismiss that.
01:15:31.220 Conservatives have to mention. 0.96
01:15:32.500 They can't just sweep it under the rug.
01:15:33.980 They have to talk about how we got here.
01:15:38.180 It's not capitalism that's a problem.
01:15:39.780 it's cronyism that we see that and by the way that happens on both sides that's why the socialists
01:15:45.400 know that they can take advantage is because many of the folks inside the democrat party are very
01:15:50.740 very much respond nancy pelosi and her stock trades very much responsible for why we're here
01:15:55.460 and uh now some of the arsonists are posing as firefighters saying again they're here to
01:16:01.280 put the fire out nothing could be further from the case uh speaking of which one of them
01:16:07.300 abdul rahman muhammad el sayed out of michigan uh you won't believe who now he is claiming he is
01:16:13.640 and essentially uh why this this kami jihadi believes that his strategy is it should be
01:16:24.700 adopted by all it is it is the righteous thing to do well i say you'll never believe it but that's
01:16:30.980 probably not the case um we'll hit that latest bit of audio that's come out the i love every
01:16:38.660 every day there's something new from this guy they got an opposition research file that must
01:16:42.620 be a mile thick and you'll be uh you'll be privy to some of that coming up after this
01:16:47.740 justin barkley and for glenn today the glenn beck program we're back right after this
01:16:51.940 Ow! Crap! 0.98
01:16:58.720 Turns out... 1.00
01:16:59.500 When did that get there?
01:17:00.740 Common sense ain't all that common.
01:17:03.560 But around here, it's still standard equipment.
01:17:09.220 Glenn Beck returns in a minute.
01:17:21.940 Cozy Earth's mission is to transform the time that matters most, your sleep, into the most comfortable part of your day.
01:17:29.040 Sleeping in a cooler environment offers several scientifically supported benefits.
01:17:32.640 Studies show that cooler temperatures promote the natural release of melatonin.
01:17:37.200 This leads to a faster sleep onset, better mood regulation, and significantly improved sleep quality.
01:17:43.360 That is exactly why Cozy Earth's premium sheets are just such a game changer.
01:17:46.920 Tanya and I love the sheets in the heat of Florida or here at the ranch.

01:17:59.100 They're temperature-regulating, helping everybody sleep several degrees cooler to completely eliminate the risk of night sweats.

01:18:34.300 All right, 888-727-BECK, 888-727-BECK, Justin at justinbarclay.com.
01:18:40.960 Conversations continue, and socialism right in the crosshairs.
01:18:45.300 abdul rockman muhammad el sayed running for senate in michigan commie jihadi
01:18:54.440 uh and now latest audio coming out shows you who he believes he's most aligned with and why he's
01:19:02.820 so righteous we observe and have observed in a lot of progressive races that the policies put
01:19:07.520 forward things like medicare for all um being anti-war resisting corporate money and influence
01:19:13.760 in politics. Those things, we read them as Christians as being very similar to the teachings
01:19:19.520 of Jesus that were laid out on the Sermon on the Mount, that you can't serve God and money,
01:19:23.760 that the peacemakers are blessed, that obviously Jesus was a healer and very focused on people's
01:19:30.660 bodies being redeemed. And yet those platforms and those policies are being named radical. And
01:19:38.420 we know that you have been referred to as a radical. So what do you think about that title
01:19:43.260 that these things that seem to come very easily from the Christian faith
01:19:48.080 that are shared in the Muslim faith,
01:19:50.260 like why is that considered so radical?
01:19:53.120 Well, you know, Jesus, peace and blessings be upon him,
01:19:56.600 was considered radical in his time too.
01:19:58.880 And there is a radical nature to being willing to stand forthright
01:20:05.660 in a time of corruption.
01:20:06.800 Yeah, yeah, just like Jesus, such a radical.
01:20:09.800 um yes yes yes uh understandable understandable that so many could be so swayed by things like
01:20:19.300 this by the way he also doesn't think he doesn't think he's also uh jesus he he thinks he's uh
01:20:27.340 got another identity too i gotta get into that here in just a little bit but first let me put
01:20:31.160 this up uh just to do all these things right he didn't say take money from people to give the
01:20:38.580 other people say you do it and the government way of trying to right the ship in socialism etc
01:20:45.860 why it always fails they're taking from one and giving to the other that never works it's called
01:20:50.240 that pretty sure jesus would point you back to the maybe one of the top 10
01:20:56.760 from his father the top 10 greatest hits and say and one of those 10 commandments i kind of
01:21:03.880 remember thou shalt not steal by the way he didn't stop at that either he's also black now
01:21:10.000 as well apparently he's getting he's getting a reporter saying you know criticism you don't
01:21:21.120 care about black people and he does have an issue with voters black folks you know there's been a
01:21:30.380 effort I think to divide people against each other and unfortunately you see that the consequence of
01:21:36.960 that to tell us that some group or another group have to be counterposed because there's not enough
01:21:42.340 for all of us I am Arab I'm also African my family immigrated this country from Egypt yeah see he's 0.86
01:21:48.000 anything you want him to be he'll be that chameleon for you just like Hillary and AOC
01:21:53.320 back throw on the accent while they're doing it as well anything to get the lie across
01:22:00.120 Yep. 1.00
01:22:02.080 Jesus, Black, it doesn't matter. 1.00
01:22:06.160 He changes with the audience. 1.00
01:22:30.120 Spark the flame
01:22:41.480 Pass it on
01:22:44.040 Crank the game
01:22:46.560 Glenn Beck is on
01:22:49.040 Glenn Beck is on
01:22:51.040 Na-na-na-na
01:22:53.480 Oh-oh-oh-oh 0.92
01:22:56.400 Na-na-na-na

01:25:17.320 former congressman at san francisco airport seizing electronics part of that sexual misconduct

01:25:32.700 i think that's who's got this uh we're gonna dig into this coming up in just a little bit
01:25:39.520 because it sounds like we remember i had the feng feng story earlier this week it sounds like the
01:25:45.600 walls uh may in fact be be closing in on some of this when they start seizing devices uh lookout
01:25:52.980 that uh that can't be a good look for um for the former congressman
01:26:01.560 and uh and fang fang the big drop coming out of some of the documents that were released
01:26:08.380 uh with the fang fang update earlier this week yeah it's not been it's not been a very good week
01:26:13.900 for eric swalwell yeah that was that monday or tuesday it was it was one of the two and of course
01:26:22.300 uh again this this uh this this whole thing and this you know that they i would say coordinated
01:26:31.100 they probably they probably both of those two working together um not been a very good week
01:26:38.540 we'll talk about that coming up in just a bit but first as we uh talking about the midterms we've
01:26:43.020 had some great coverage over that this week uh we've had primaries already in in in alaska and
01:26:49.660 also in Florida, Wyoming. We hit a couple of those earlier. Still yet to come as we have
01:26:56.140 elections happening. In fact, in Las Vegas, in Nevada, a Republican running for Congress here
01:27:03.200 who's got a very interesting backstory. Marty O'Donnell is someone who has worked on, it sounds
01:27:12.420 like, some of these video games. Halo, the video game series, working in the background on some of
01:27:18.260 these things that a lot in fact a lot of your kids and maybe even you would know his work
01:27:23.960 he was disinvited from a reunion with his fellow creators he's fighting sort of this uh maybe this
01:27:31.540 woke cancel culture and he is in the race fighting for americans and uh marty's on the line with us
01:27:39.280 right now appreciate you taking the time marty thank you justin thanks for having me on this
01:27:44.180 is spectacular couldn't happen on a better day two things it's my 49th wedding anniversary today
01:27:50.020 and eric swalwell uh it couldn't happen to a nicer guy i love seeing what's happening there
01:27:56.140 the walls are closing in aren't they by the way congratulations to you
01:28:01.140 thanks that's fantastic yeah hey can i uh can i uh just uh uh correct you on a couple things
01:28:07.980 i was not in the background on halo i was uh one of the seven direct actually five directors
01:28:13.260 One of the seven board members, I helped start the whole project running on Halo.
01:28:19.700 We worked on Halo for over 10 years.
01:28:22.860 Then we went on to work on Destiny.
01:28:26.160 I was part of the purchase that happened when we were bought by Microsoft, and then I got
01:28:31.100 us out of Microsoft and made deals.
01:28:34.920 So I was a part of the business, and I was also essential to the creative process.
01:28:39.900 And the other thing is, this stupid convention that I got canceled from, I wasn't really even wanting to do it, but they had four of my actors, actors that I had cast who did main voices for the game, they were going to go to this convention.
01:28:57.100 And I was asked by all of them, including the showrunners of this convention, to be there because I did all the music and I cast and directed the actors for these games. 0.88
01:29:10.980 And I love going to those things because it's so much fun to be with my actors.
01:29:16.260 But the problem is the actors don't know how the game was developed.
01:29:19.180 So when I go to those conventions and I'm on a panel, I'm the one that everybody gets to look to to answer the questions, because the actors are just like, wow, we were only in the studio for two hours, and then we were done.
01:29:32.340 I worked on the game.
01:29:33.840 Each game we worked on for three years at a time.
01:29:36.440 It was quite a process.
01:29:38.040 So anyway, just to clarify slightly.
01:29:41.500 Absolutely.
01:29:41.900 Why were you, and such an essential part of this, but what did they say?
01:29:48.660 What was it exactly that they said they were upset with you about?
01:29:54.460 Well, you know, I never talked to the folks who were the actual owners of the show.
01:29:59.720 I was contacted by the agents who book these things, and they were very apologetic.
01:30:05.500 But they said, we've been told by the showrunner that the LGBTQ staff was uncomfortable with my presence.
01:30:14.820 They didn't feel safe.
01:30:15.960 um and i i was completely flabbergasted besides the fact that i've never said anything negative
01:30:23.380 about um people who are one of those alphabet letters i have people like that in my family
01:30:31.560 i have friends i've worked with you know people in the industry of course for years um so i've
01:30:38.020 never been uh essentially trying to persecute anybody who who made personal private choices
01:30:45.720 What happened was I was on a podcast and they were asking me what I thought was, you know, one of the dangers of what the country is going through right now.
01:30:55.840 And I said that I felt like Marxism was an existential threat to the United States.
01:31:01.440 Marxism, which has infected the country and is manifested in so many different ways, postmodernism and, of course, the Democrat Socialists of America who are just pure Marxist ideology.
01:31:18.060 And then they put up a poster on this podcast that showed something that said socialism is pride.
01:31:27.320 And then they had the pride logo there. And I just sort of added on to that that, you know, I thought it was sad that groups like the LGBTQ community were being infected by Marxism also.
01:31:41.120 So so apparently that was the thing. That's what they. So what happened was Kamala Harris's old social media outlet, which is, of course, the pure propaganda, put out a story on me saying that I was for persecuting gay people.
01:31:59.380 So and it was based on that conversation.
01:32:02.900 so you're fighting uh it sounds like cancel culture in your private life you're fighting
01:32:09.020 some of these things obviously that this marxism thing as you mentioned dsa and
01:32:13.120 and some of the uh the issues that democrats are having to deal with right now i think as as a
01:32:18.960 country we're we're facing what's your what's your your your make on that what do you why do
01:32:24.440 you think we're seeing such a rise in all of this right now look at barack obama he started off as
01:32:32.840 a community organizer. The liberals, the progressives, they've always been good at
01:32:38.420 organizing. The normal people, sorry, that's my contrast between the liberals. It's liberals and
01:32:47.560 normal people. I represent normal people. Normal people don't tend to organize politically. They
01:32:53.860 just get on with their lives. They go to work. They fall in love. They get married. They have
01:33:00.120 kids they want to buy a house they want to have one good job to be enough to be able to you know
01:33:04.920 take a vacation and you know you know have a little nice dinner on the weekends with the kids
01:33:11.560 and and that's what normal people care about so they're not organized but at this point
01:33:17.420 this crazy left swing uh they push so hard to the left and the the socialists and the communists
01:33:25.560 and and now even in partnership with islamists these are philosophies of governance that are 0.65
01:33:33.620 antithetical to our constitution but they're making a hard hard push and what i would say 0.95
01:33:40.160 is the dumb democrats are actually saying hey our tent is big enough to include people who say 0.96
01:33:45.500 they want to burn down the tent uh and and i think it's going to wake up the the normals the normal 0.99
01:33:52.200 people who are not don't even consider themselves in a tent um they're going to wake up and say wait
01:33:58.320 you folks are are threatening the way our lives are and we we're not going to take it anymore
01:34:04.720 yeah i i really hope that what you're saying is is right um yeah people that have that have
01:34:13.460 completely gone off the off the rails here are are running they're now running they're running
01:34:19.420 the train and uh it's it's not only is it bad for obviously you know the the reasons that we're
01:34:26.520 seeing play out here in politics but culturally i think we're we're losing touch um with a lot
01:34:32.700 of things in reality and maybe you know marty your job was to kind of to get us to lose touch
01:34:37.260 with reality in some ways but at the end of the day man we are got we've gone full into fantasy
01:34:43.300 land haven't we yeah and it's funny because my uh career of my first career was uh in chicago i had
01:34:52.340 a recording studio there and i i worked uh mostly doing commercial jingles uh so yeah mr clean mr
01:34:59.260 clean and uh we are flintstones kids 10 million strong so uh i wrote i wrote produced that stuff
01:35:06.540 And then my second career was in video game music and audio.
01:35:11.580 The folks that grew up playing Halo, for example, or Destiny,
01:35:20.440 now they've seen woke developers take over some of these franchises
01:35:26.980 and start to preach at them with woke influences.
01:35:31.540 And it's happening.
01:35:33.140 Disney is doing it with movies.
01:35:35.080 Star Wars is being wrecked.
01:35:36.540 Snow White is wrecked, Supergirl is wrecked.
01:35:40.660 There's a whole cultural movement, especially online, of people who are complaining and sort of organizing around the fact like,
01:35:50.100 hey, what have you done to these beautiful cultural touchstones that we love? 0.95
01:35:55.860 Who are you people who are telling us that we have to have blue hair and nose rings and Supergirl being basically a slut? 0.98
01:36:05.440 and I mean it's just insane 0.97
01:36:07.640 but they're starting to push back
01:36:09.420 culturally normal people are pushing
01:36:11.860 back and it's really good to see
01:36:13.380 yeah that is incredible
01:36:15.420 your career
01:36:16.300 is and
01:36:19.000 you know as you mentioned some of those
01:36:21.580 things that are absolutely
01:36:22.620 we would recognize if we heard
01:36:25.680 them and how
01:36:27.560 you've been I said behind
01:36:29.660 the scenes earlier but these are a lot of
01:36:31.580 things that people don't necessarily see
01:36:33.640 you're not the lead actor
01:36:35.280 But you play such a critical role in all these things.
01:36:39.440 These are things that you've kind of had to walk away for.
01:36:43.600 I imagine there's a reason.
01:36:45.400 You must feel, I either say, called or crazy when people decide to get into politics.
01:36:50.580 But, Marty, what is it that has pushed you to throw your hat in the ring here?
01:36:57.220 Marty O'Donnell with us right now.
01:37:00.440 I threw my hat in the ring because of this very thing.
01:37:04.000 I saw it happening. When I was nine years old, I watched Ronald Reagan introduce Barry Goldwater
01:37:13.520 to the world. It was one of the famous speeches, but I saw it on TV when I was nine, and I remember
01:37:19.520 going to my mom and saying, Mom, I'm a conservative. So I've been a conservative my whole life.
01:37:25.480 Luckily, I had seen the Beatles a little bit before I saw Barry Goldwater, so I decided to
01:37:30.300 go into music instead. So otherwise I would have been a career politician, which would have been
01:37:34.340 horrible. But instead of retiring comfortably, which I could have done, and my three grandsons
01:37:42.360 are born right here in the district I'm going to represent, I just saw where America was going.
01:37:48.920 I see that this area has been under Democrat rule for more than a decade. And because my daughter
01:37:58.540 has a very strong 501c3 here in the district and she asked me to help her politically i threw my
01:38:06.300 hat in the ring mostly just to try to help republicans here uh but the governor lombardo's
01:38:13.480 people actually asked me to run for congress which was a total shock i i just didn't think
01:38:19.220 that would be something in the cards for me at this age uh but yeah that's why i'm doing it i'm
01:38:25.880 like okay if what they said to me was how hard it is to find good people to run for office
01:38:31.340 and what that meant to me was if good people don't choose to run then the only people who
01:38:36.620 choose to run are the are the bad people people who want power they want money they want influence
01:38:42.520 and that's the people who become career politicians and i hate that and i don't
01:38:47.760 want to be one of those people and i want to see if i can do something different you're in uh
01:38:52.760 essentially Las Vegas, like the southern part there in Nevada.
01:38:56.880 It is the third congressional district there.
01:38:59.740 Marty O'Donnell's with us right now.
01:39:01.000 Marty, if you could hang on just for a moment.
01:39:02.500 I'd love to, we'll take a quick 60-second break here,
01:39:04.980 but I want to come back and ask about particularly President Trump's issue
01:39:09.380 and in Nevada, right where you are, to boost things in the economy
01:39:13.180 and how that's going.
01:39:14.640 When we come back, Marty O'Donnell joins us right now
01:39:16.960 on the Glenn Beck Program.
01:39:17.960 Back next.

01:40:33.640 Marty O'Donnell is running for Congress there in Nevada's 3rd Congressional District.
01:40:37.600 Marty for Congress.Vote, by the way.
01:40:39.820 um you know on the front front page of your website talking about fighting for an affordable
01:40:44.780 america which i think is is uh really the issue of the of the moment and it's it's been brought
01:40:51.080 it's been really brought to our attention because of all the damaged democrats and
01:40:55.420 folks have done now who i say are uh essentially the arsonist posing as the firefighters that had
01:41:01.860 the solution they caused the problem now they're here to to try and solve it for us um what are
01:41:08.340 you seeing though where you are particularly i know no tax on tips that whole thing that whole
01:41:14.180 idea the overtime everything it all came from right where you are nevada president trump
01:41:18.760 at infamously now at that at that rally hearing that call and and saying yeah let's let's do it
01:41:24.480 that sounds fantastic how's that working for people right now in nevada of course i'm working
01:41:33.280 on the ground right now my district is is relatively large there's a lot of different
01:41:37.960 folks here uh and i'm getting to i'm out on the ground knocking doors and and going to meetings
01:41:43.560 and meeting people uh i wouldn't you know it's not a ton of fun but what's nice is meeting the
01:41:49.460 people it really is and people have more money in their pockets it's it's interesting everybody
01:41:55.340 still has concerns about affordability and and what's going to happen in the future that's just
01:42:00.360 that's where we are but uh when i ask people about things like no tax on tips there's so many service
01:42:07.800 workers hospitality workers here in in northwest las vegas that no tax on tips was a huge boon to
01:42:16.280 them but then there's also a lot of retirees like myself i would have been retiring here in this in
01:42:21.800 this beautiful area uh and no tax on social security is huge there's a lot of folks in
01:42:29.000 construction there's a lot of building going on so the idea of no tax on overtime is is spectacular
01:42:35.080 so these are practical things i've been here and president i've been to three uh trump rallies here
01:42:40.920 in my district and it's it's always fun i've met him now a couple of times he he endorsed me
01:42:47.480 in the primary um once again he you know he's got a good track record of those he endorses in the
01:42:54.200 primary of winning the primaries so i'm i'm hoping to like also show that he endorsed the right horse
01:43:00.040 for the general um speaker johnson is coming here next week uh he'll he actually visit the office
01:43:07.000 and also do a fundraiser so um yeah i think things are when you talk to people on the ground that
01:43:13.400 these are practical uh things that the government has done for them um because the government is
01:43:19.960 basically getting out of the way the democrats have one solution to everything and it's raising
01:43:25.660 taxes it's spending more marty o'donnell waste you're absolutely you're absolutely right and
01:43:33.460 and uh i just love that you're in the fight because you're a guy who didn't need to get
01:43:37.320 into the fight it's kind of like president trump but man i'm glad you i'm so glad you did and i
01:43:42.460 can't wait to see what you do we need a little bit of that creativity there to solve those problems
01:43:48.820 Marty O'Donnell, thank you so much for being here with us and joining us.
01:43:53.040 Thanks, Justin. I appreciate it.
01:43:54.140 You got it. God bless.

01:45:45.500 And Justin at JustinBarkley.com.
01:45:47.060 Love to hear from you.
01:45:47.680 At Mr. Justin Barkley.
01:45:49.640 Over on all of the different social media platforms.
01:45:52.720 In fact, over on X, just sharing a couple of things.
01:45:54.740 Just saw this come in.
01:45:57.120 Want to get back to Swalwell here in a second.
01:45:59.320 Because, yeah, we had that breaking news.
01:46:00.960 We'll do that here in just a moment.
01:46:02.100 Just saw these.
01:46:02.700 A couple of videos coming in from Michigan today. 1.00
01:46:07.460 That race.
01:46:08.300 Abdul Arakman Mohamed El-Sayed, the socialist, obviously.
01:46:12.020 the democrat commie jihadi but that what they're facing right now not only do they have problem
01:46:18.260 with black voters particularly we're also seeing that they are they're coming up with a problem
01:46:24.100 with democrat voters all together uh here's what i mean by they had a democrats for rogers which has
01:46:31.780 become a thing now mike rogers is the republican running in that race democrats for rogers speaking
01:46:39.500 the day uh and speaking out about why they they i just feel like again this is the same complaint
01:46:46.960 we've we've heard over and over and over again this is why you saw the rise of donald trump
01:46:53.420 particularly in auto workers and in and throughout these these swing states that he picked up and won
01:46:59.240 so solidly especially this last election but what what it is is they they feel left behind
01:47:07.940 You'll hear it over and over again.
01:47:09.620 I didn't leave the Democrat Party.
01:47:11.240 The Democrat Party left me. 0.96
01:47:13.240 That is precisely what we're seeing with the rise of the crazy. 0.97
01:47:18.240 Crazy versus common sense.
01:47:20.040 Again, Republicans on the right have this big tent welcoming folks,
01:47:27.000 and especially those folks, Democrats for Rogers,
01:47:30.140 the people who felt betrayed left, you know,
01:47:33.320 that felt like the Democrat Party left them. 0.85
01:47:35.380 you have that big tent on the right and on the left you have the circus tent and the clowns are
01:47:41.180 running wild that's why people feel abandoned chelsea this mom here in michigan saying it best
01:47:47.300 i'm a lifelong democrat i voted for obama i voted for hillary i voted for biden i voted for slotkin
01:47:53.540 i heavily supported hailey stevens throughout her race and now i'm voting for mike rogers
01:47:58.940 because sometimes the election calls for us to look at something bigger than
01:48:05.060 the Democratic nominee that we've been given does not share my values and he
01:48:11.840 does not agree with a world that I want my children to grow up in I'm not a
01:48:17.960 socialist I'm not a communist I'm a mom I'm a proud Michigander I am a Democrat
01:48:24.500 voting for Mike because I know that he shares the values that I do and I know
01:48:28.060 know that he will work hard for families like mine in michigan that's video courtesy of the
01:48:33.460 midwesterner the midwesterner.news karen widsett i think a former rep i think she was a state rep 0.94
01:48:39.700 uh a democrat now a little more common sense if you're going to compare democrats she's probably 0.81
01:48:47.240 a little more on the common sense side of things and that's that's why she then is appearing today 0.99
01:48:52.820 is a Democrat for Rogers.
01:48:55.680 I do not want to lose
01:48:56.560 my Blue Cross Blue Shield.
01:48:58.260 My husband is operating engineers
01:48:59.880 and I want my health insurance.
01:49:03.040 I do not think people really realize
01:49:05.180 what is on the line.
01:49:07.400 You will lose your health insurance
01:49:10.260 if the other candidate gets in office.
01:49:13.220 There's no ifs, ands, or buts about it.
01:49:15.060 That is what Medicare for All means.
01:49:18.720 So if you enjoy going to ER now
01:49:20.640 and sitting for six hours,
01:49:22.400 get ready to enjoy that a whole lot longer because you may be sitting there for six weeks
01:49:27.520 that means you will be in a clinic in a hospital wherever they say that you go once again you say
01:49:34.220 you don't want government in your business well the government will be controlling your health
01:49:38.740 care yeah they will control your doctors they will control your medication they will control
01:49:43.920 your visits they will control everything so for no other reason common sense prevails that mike
01:49:50.320 rogers is the candidate for you she's exactly right by the way the way the way to describe this
01:49:55.320 this medicare for all this the way they they push it is you know everything free and we're
01:50:01.760 going to take care of you and it's this is gonna be great but i think the best way to describe this
01:50:09.340 more than anyway is think about how it is today when you go to the bureau of vehicles whatever
01:50:16.760 that's called in your in your um state here it's the secretary of state in michigan but that
01:50:22.700 whatever they call that when you have to go and you stand in line and you have to wait pick your
01:50:29.660 number and you have to have all this and the lack of customer just the way that whole thing works
01:50:35.300 that's how it's going to work when it comes to going to get health care that's exactly that's
01:50:42.540 And by the way, think about how bad it already is.
01:50:46.300 And it's already bad, people waiting, trying to get seen.
01:50:50.400 It's already bad here because of Obamacare.
01:50:55.860 We've already got issues.
01:50:58.460 Not as bad as it is in Canada where they have the very system that they're trying to push on us. 1.00
01:51:02.940 That's why people from Canada come here.
01:51:05.480 This was great. Miranda Devine put this out today.
01:51:08.120 This is kind of like a tongue-in-cheek, is a time traveler.
01:51:12.220 You see a guy showing up, looks like a doc in the DeLorean, and they transport this sort
01:51:20.780 of Gen Z type, I guess, this gal in the story to the future, 2050, and she gets to see what
01:51:28.480 it's like once the socialists have ruined everything.
01:51:30.920 Housing is a human right.
01:51:32.600 People over profit. 0.99
01:51:34.440 Workers deserve more.
01:51:36.300 Defund the police.
01:51:38.440 Oh, I hate it here.
01:51:39.680 Just literally get me to the future.
01:51:42.220 i'll take you let's go there's a delorean there's seriously yeah buckle up and get
01:51:52.300 ready to see the future you've been waiting for here we go i'm so excited
01:51:55.280 where are we your hometown 2050 on the future they're in the future he says
01:52:07.660 Housing's guaranteed now. Everyone gets a home of their own.
01:52:10.380 Wait, everyone gets free housing from the government?
01:52:12.920 Ooh, can mine be near the beach or have a pool?
01:52:15.160 Maybe, but probably not.
01:52:17.040 Beach property is very rare, so you'll probably be assigned one of these.
01:52:20.120 Oh, but I don't want to live here.
01:52:22.360 Well, you don't have a choice.
01:52:24.440 Believe it, the future finally has zero waste.
01:52:27.460 Incredible.
01:52:28.520 Can I please have an iced oat milk latte?
01:52:30.740 Did you bring your own mug?
01:52:32.180 No mug, no service.
01:52:33.320 Okay, if I bring my own mug, can I get the oat milk latte?
01:52:36.580 Oat milk latte?
01:52:37.680 Oat milk is very wasteful.
01:52:38.820 We only serve black coffee, nothing else.
01:52:40.940 He's talking about the dystopian future,
01:52:43.840 and everybody's kind of dressed in that drab sort of, you know,
01:52:47.720 graze and whatnot.
01:52:49.560 And can you imagine anything more dystopian than not being able to get your latte?
01:52:53.400 Forget about the coffee shop.
01:52:54.620 Wait till you see the government-run grocery stores.
01:52:58.920 Wait, you mean to tell me the government pays for my groceries now?
01:53:01.740 The future is bright.
01:53:02.600 i just can't be right 40 for eggs the coupon is only for a hundred dollars i won't be able
01:53:09.740 to afford groceries 40 for eggs it sounds like a biden administration price here's also a little
01:53:14.960 bit expensive there's somebody running in to steal oh my gosh someone called the police
01:53:21.680 food off the shelf need police there's no police anymore we don't have some compassion she's
01:53:25.640 probably having a hard time we call a social worker we're not a police anymore i think i
01:53:30.680 have to get out of here no problem it's a perfect time to show you the public
01:53:33.780 transit it's all free now oh that's good wait why isn't anyone driving them
01:53:39.800 workers deserve more so the drivers don't actually show up usually but
01:53:43.340 they're nice trains to hang out in they're walking through a subway train
01:53:46.700 or whatever it's not moving I don't think I'm feeling so good you'll be
01:53:49.760 happy to know that health care is totally free now for everyone oh you
01:53:54.740 came at the right time the wait for an appointment is only 72 days yeah are you
01:54:00.200 serious now if it's an emergency it's only a two-week wait oh there you go i need to go home
01:54:06.620 you need to take me home please right now but maya this is the future you wanted isn't it wonderful
01:54:12.940 there she is back on her bad insider home there 1.00
01:54:25.640 as she's tearing down her democratic socialists of america posters uh it's out of a rude awakening
01:54:34.680 but that is what a what a fantastic and a very i think uh very well done so people can actually see
01:54:43.860 what is in store what is in store well i mean you might say how do we know well first of all
01:54:51.200 we have the in real time what's happening right now IRL as the kids say in New York City with
01:54:56.520 call me mom Donnie but we have we have decades we have decades of of this sort of thing you've
01:55:03.380 seen play out in places all across the world and it has been failure after failure after failure
01:55:09.700 and this is exactly what you can expect if we move forward with these folks that are sailing
01:55:17.400 the uh the scam the pipe dream very effective again i shared that over on x at mr justin
01:55:24.920 barclay miranda divine uh shared that i don't know what the source of that is originally
01:55:28.880 it's just very well done and uh iwv is that it oh independent women's voice is uh is the group
01:55:40.500 that put that together from a campaign perspective all right love that love that and i know that's
01:55:46.380 Probably AI, but it looked great, and man, it hits the spot.
01:55:49.820 More like that to illustrate what is coming.
01:55:55.660 I think certainly needed.
01:55:57.340 Speaking of what is coming, I do have some good news.
01:55:59.540 Let me share some of that.
01:56:00.600 In fact, a little bit of accountability for Eric Swallow, the former congressman we now know.
01:56:05.740 Breaking news this morning.
01:56:07.000 It has been revealed that the FBI has seized some electronics.
01:56:11.840 Happened over the weekend on Saturday.
01:56:13.200 Get into that story and wrap it up.
01:56:15.260 On the way, Justin in for Glenn today in the Glenn Beck program.
01:56:18.280 We're back right after this.
01:56:23.220 Likes aren't love.
01:56:25.060 Retweets aren't showing up.
01:56:29.120 Real people still matter.
01:56:31.860 Glenn Beck, back in a moment.
01:56:33.700 Glenn Beck is on.
01:56:45.260 In the U.S., there is a break-in every 26 seconds.

01:57:43.200 There is no safe.
01:57:44.300 like SimpliSafe.
01:57:58.940 There we got the breaking news.
01:58:01.480 Not a good day, not a good week to be Eric Swalwell,
01:58:04.160 the former congressman from the People's Republic of California.
01:58:08.240 And, of course, the man who had the affair with Chinese spies, the alleged Chinese spy, that's Feng Feng.
01:58:18.500 In fact, I guess we know that now.
01:58:21.240 According to the FBI documents earlier this week, we saw released,
01:58:25.180 disgraced former congressman escapades with alleged Chinese spy named Feng Feng are laid bare in new files.
01:58:31.220 That's the Daily Mail, their headline.
01:58:33.740 We know he, quote-unquote, occasionally hooked up with the Chinese spy known as Feng Feng.
01:58:41.520 The White House Transparency Task Force dropping the new documents under the Rusty Thumbs title.
01:58:48.980 Another moniker given to the woman whose real name is Christine Feng.
01:58:52.880 She's no longer with us, unfortunately.
01:58:55.860 um swalwell residing from congress in disgrace back in april after he was accused of sexual
01:59:02.720 misconduct confessed to federal agents at the fbi's oakland office in 2015 that he had to quote
01:59:09.800 physical he had two physical relations or is it more than two at least two occasions they say
01:59:16.620 it's just a weird way of saying it too physical relations at least two occasions i think there's
01:59:23.300 a better way of saying that. In fact,
01:59:25.420 it was encapsulated in the classic
01:59:27.260 Glenn Beck hit tune
01:59:29.460 about Miss Fang
01:59:31.440 Fang not too long ago.
01:59:33.420 Let's roll that beautiful footage,
01:59:35.300 why don't we?
01:59:35.760 Don't bang bang. 1.00
01:59:37.220 Fang Fang Fang. 0.51
01:59:38.960 Don't bang bang.
01:59:40.980 Physical relations.
01:59:42.660 Swalwell don't want the files to drop
01:59:45.340 cause he went bang bang
01:59:47.340 with him.
01:59:49.120 That's a little more catchy.
01:59:51.380 Fang Fang.
01:59:52.060 Hey, don't bang, bang.
01:59:54.680 Not a good idea.
01:59:55.460 And when the case is closed, he screams and shouts.
01:59:59.120 But we all know he went bang, bang with bang, bang.
02:00:02.860 All right.
02:00:03.440 All right.
02:00:04.820 That's good.
02:00:05.980 That's probably enough.
02:00:08.900 We do know that now.
02:00:10.260 And now we know there were a few other and much more serious accusations that have come out now.
02:00:17.540 In fact, the walls are closing in.
02:00:19.760 FBI agents over the weekend, apparently in San Francisco at the airport, seizing his
02:00:24.740 electronics as part of the sexual misconduct investigation.
02:00:28.520 We're finding out now.
02:00:30.340 And in fact, what should happen?
02:00:32.220 What should happen to those who commit such heinous acts and crimes?
02:00:37.840 Well, here he is back in 2025 on The Breakfast Club talking about just that.
02:00:46.340 it's really focus on like serious violent sexual those three if you like throw the book at those
02:00:55.420 three right and throw the resources at those three yes and then you show compassion and redemption
02:01:00.260 for non-serious non-sexual wait wait a minute throw the book what was it serious on what was
02:01:07.780 it again serious violent sexual yeah those those three right eric those three if you like throw
02:01:15.780 the book at those three right well the walls are closing in and the book the book might be ready
02:01:25.280 to swing i can tell you uh it might be ready to go bang bang very very soon now who knows what's
02:01:32.340 on those devices uh as the fbi is gathering that intelligence right now and and they will uh no
02:01:38.860 no doubt have i'm sure updates it's ongoing investigation but we are now learning this
02:01:45.720 came out earlier today and you have the the latest your agents armed with additional court
02:01:50.060 approved search warrants entering his house in dc on sunday as well seizing additional
02:01:55.740 undisclosed potential evidence well-placed sources telling the daily mail as they're reporting here
02:02:02.540 he added to the airport later in the day flew to his home state of california feds they're waiting
02:02:07.180 for him as he stepped off the plane and getting getting some of those electronic devices so there
02:02:13.300 you go and good you know good because uh we should hold these folks accountable and a little bit i
02:02:19.480 think a little bit of hope for the folks to say yeah nothing's gonna happen here when do we ever
02:02:23.340 see any actual real accountability coming well just an example trickling here and there we'll
02:02:30.420 take it we'll take it as much as we can get about a week is followed by we're having a fantastic
02:02:36.100 time with you filling in for Glenn.
02:02:37.920 Back again tomorrow.
02:02:40.900 Justin at JustinBarclay.com
02:02:42.620 all over social media.
02:02:43.940 Love to hear from you as always and answering those emails
02:02:46.020 at Mr. Justin Barclay
02:02:48.320 as well all over social
02:02:50.240 media. That's it for today.
02:02:52.200 Make it a great one. God bless.
02:02:54.060 Glenn Beck is on!
02:03:06.100 Thank you.
