00:00:00.000 Behind our nation's defense is a powerful network of Canadian communities,
00:00:03.920 supported by Lockheed Martin Canada.
00:00:06.240 It's a network of over 1,300 employees and over 1,000 local suppliers,
00:00:10.880 from small family businesses to major tech firms.
00:00:14.160 Together, we've delivered a $3.6 billion boost to the Canadian economy over the past five years.
00:00:20.000 That's money that goes to securing our skies, our oceans, and the place we call home.
00:00:25.240 Learn more at LockheedMartin.com slash Canada.
00:00:30.160 Here's something I want you to hear.
00:00:31.800 It's Medicare open enrollment.
00:00:33.620 Yay!
00:00:34.360 The only time of year where you can make changes to your Medicare plan.
00:00:37.860 But I have some bad news.
00:00:38.920 I've just been looking at some research, and this is amazing.
00:00:41.260 It shows that only 1 in 10 Americans are on the right plan for their needs.
00:00:44.680 And it's worse than that.
00:00:45.900 The average person was overspending more than $1,000 a year,
00:00:50.260 and 1 in 10 are spending $2,000 more than necessary, and they have no idea.
00:00:55.520 This could be you.
00:00:56.500 The system is so confusing.
00:00:58.180 It's easy to pay too much and never know it.
00:01:00.300 But right now, Medicare open enrollment, the one window every year where you can fix it.
00:01:05.700 That's why I want you to fix it now with Chapter, the only Medicare advisors that I trust.
00:01:09.980 So dial pound 250 and say the keyword Chapter.
00:01:13.060 A couple from my audience, Tamara and Dean, they called Chapter.
00:01:16.120 They're saving almost $3,000 this year.
00:01:18.820 The call is free.
00:01:19.720 It takes 20 minutes, maybe.
00:01:21.600 Dial pound 250.
00:01:22.500 Say the keyword Chapter.
00:01:23.400 Act now before you're left overpaying or on the wrong coverage for another year.
00:01:28.420 Pound 250, chapter.
00:01:53.400 Crank the game

00:02:08.060 The fusion of entertainment, enlightenment, and empowerment
00:02:16.560 This is the Glenn Beck Program 1.00
00:02:21.460 hello america welcome to the glenn beck program i gotta tell you i'm tired of the black building 0.81
00:02:27.620 uh really tired of it when it comes to this election look i'm not gonna blow smoke up your 0.74
00:02:33.460 skirt either this is gonna be tough it's gonna be tough it's gonna be close but i'm tired you know i
00:02:38.660 i saw a poll or i mean a uh an article from cnn the democrats are likely to pick up 11 seats in
00:02:47.060 the Senate. 11 seats in the Senate? The Republicans lost four after Nixon. What are you, crazy? 11?
00:02:59.540 So here's what I'm planning. I'm going to be very pessimistic in my own life. That way I'm
00:03:06.400 excited about anything because I think this is going to be a hard-fought battle today. And if
00:03:13.320 you are living in a place i don't care i know what's happening in florida feel bad get a canoe
00:03:18.460 get a canoe and go out and vote wherever you are go out and vote we cannot have this thing play in
00:03:26.740 the margins it has to be too big uh to rig and uh and we'll see and we're going to be with you
00:03:34.360 tonight on blaze tv and i'm going to be also at glennbeck.com slash uh torch and you can follow
00:03:41.100 me as I'm doing all of the other shows. I'm going to be on with Ben and the guys at Daily Wire. I'm
00:03:45.900 going to be with Ruben. Who else? Patrick, Pat David. And you can join me beginning tonight at
00:03:52.420 7 p.m. at glenbeck.com slash torch. Okay. I want to talk about the accomplishments of Donald Trump
00:04:03.840 and try to make sense out of, look at what happened.
00:04:08.440 Now, why is his approval rating so low? 0.77
00:04:13.240 Inez Stepman is with us. 0.99
00:04:14.680 She's an Independent Women's Forum Senior Legal Analyst, and she is great.
00:04:18.760 I'm going to go over all of the things with her.
00:04:20.780 She's bringing to the table all the things because I think we forget
00:04:24.160 what it was like just two years ago and what has happened in the last two years.
00:04:30.320 And we're like, nah, it'll always be this way.
00:04:32.420 No, it wasn't this way two years ago.
00:04:35.460 So let's go through that.
00:04:36.720 And why is there a disconnect?
00:04:38.320 Inez joins me in 60 seconds.
00:04:39.900 First, let me tell you about the burner launcher.
00:04:41.500 We often talk about what, you know, people have a right to do to defend themselves.
00:04:45.520 Very little time on discussing on what they actually would want to do.
00:04:50.160 Because, you know, you can believe absolutely in your right to defend yourself, including with deadly force.
00:04:55.380 And I got to tell you, you come into my house in the middle of the night and you're threatening me, my family, my kids, 1.00
00:04:59.180 and I'll shoot you in the head so fast your head will pop off your shoulders. 1.00
00:05:03.440 But anyway, maybe that's just me. 0.99
00:05:05.340 There is hope, however, you know, that if you're in a confrontation, 0.98
00:05:09.660 you don't have to kill somebody, but if you're using a gun, you shoot to kill. 0.97
00:05:13.000 You have to. 0.81
00:05:14.120 That's why I like the Berna Compact Launcher.
00:05:16.000 It's less lethal self-defense device that comes firing kinetic or chemical projectiles.
00:05:21.800 It's tear gas.
00:05:23.300 My kids have it.
00:05:24.480 as long as you're over 18 anybody who lives in a state where you can't get a gun you're not
00:05:31.080 supposed to carry everybody in california should have one of these oh no i'm sorry no it's mostly
00:05:36.920 peaceful in california anyway americans that choose to be prepared prepare with burna b-y-r-n-a.com
00:05:44.740 slash glenn get 10 off the bundle right now at burna.com slash glenn
00:05:50.460 inez how are you i'm good glad to be here yeah me too me too uh so let's go through some of the
00:06:02.400 things that uh have changed the things that are not small little policy tweaks um look at what's
00:06:10.500 actually changed and what's at stake today and if you can as we're going through this i really want
00:06:15.920 to know why it's such a harsh disconnect from what's actually happened to the approval rating
00:06:26.700 of the president. So let's go through the things, first of all, that he has done.
00:06:33.220 Absolutely. I think, as you said, two years ago, I had a very, very different feeling about the
00:06:38.820 trajectory of the country, which is not to say that I'm copacetic about this election or about
00:06:43.960 our future, it's still very much a fight. But now I feel that there is an institutional fight.
00:06:48.700 And I think the changes that I'm going through here add up to what is really the first substantial
00:06:54.060 counter-revolution against the institutional left for 100 years. I'm going all the way back to when
00:07:01.120 I used to listen to you on Vox, Glenn. 2009, 2010, you always had that board. You're talking about
00:07:06.080 the progressive era, right? We're talking about basically a 100-year march of the left through
00:07:11.740 institutions. And this is the very first time that I have seen a Republican administration
00:07:17.340 actually strategically start the shoots of a counter-revolution to actually push back against
00:07:24.840 that institutional power of the left. Honestly, it's because I think Donald Trump, whether he
00:07:31.840 ever thought of it or not, he is not a progressive. And there's so many Republicans that are
00:07:39.520 progressives that have just like, just let that, just let that go. And he does not like the
00:07:47.300 institutional state. He doesn't like the fact you, you elect a president, the president should
00:07:51.940 be able to do things. You elect a Senate, the Senator should be able to do things. And so he
00:07:56.100 is dismantling this stuff. Unlike anyone, anyone, nobody's done it since Woodrow Wilson, nobody.
00:08:03.360 Absolutely. And that's the very first, for me, this is perhaps the thing other than maybe
00:08:07.800 immigration and demographics that will endure the longest and is the most important transformative
00:08:13.220 change of this two years of the Trump administration, he is actually dismantling
00:08:18.220 the administrative state. We're talking about shuttering departments like the Department of
00:08:23.440 Education. There are a few constitutionally mandated functions that are essentially going
00:08:27.380 to other cabinet positions, other departments. But this is effectively the shuttering of the
00:08:32.900 Department of Education, something that was promised, a Reagan promised to do it, right,
00:08:36.800 a year after it was created. Donald Trump is actually doing it. And then in terms of the
00:08:42.660 personnel that is working across the executive branch, he has really changed the game in terms
00:08:48.300 of how much power the president has over the bureaucracy and over that executive branch.
00:08:54.000 We have the smallest federal workforce as a percentage of the workforce since 1939. And
00:08:59.960 that's because of all the people who have been riffed, okay, basically laid off by the federal
00:09:04.300 government, and even the ones who are still there, there is way more control from the president to
00:09:11.300 the people the president hires, to the people who are working for the American people in the federal
00:09:15.460 government. There's actually accountability being built there in terms of the personnel rules.
00:09:20.660 This is important because we have been ruled by bureaucracies increasingly for 100 years,
00:09:25.480 and the peak of that was COVID, right? We're essentially a bureaucrat who is not elected,
00:09:30.240 can transform the entire policy of the country with a stroke of a pen.
00:09:35.240 That's not how our system is supposed to work.
00:09:37.120 And Donald Trump is actually realigning the executive branch
00:09:40.300 and the bureaucracies under the elected president as our Constitution demands.
00:09:44.720 So that's a huge, to me, like one of the most important changes
00:09:48.700 Trump has made in these two years.
00:09:50.680 Then there is immigration and demographics.
00:09:52.700 So hang on.
00:09:53.960 So before we leave this, has he made institutional changes
00:09:58.860 that cannot just be reversed?
00:10:02.280 I think that some of these changes will endure past Trump,
00:10:05.280 and I have a number of reasons for thinking so.
00:10:07.540 One, I do think presidents like to be able to direct the executive branch,
00:10:12.000 and even if a Democrat comes in,
00:10:13.640 they're not going to want to have a bureaucracy that doesn't respond to them.
00:10:18.520 I mean, presidents have complained about this.
00:10:20.380 Democratic presidents have complained about this.
00:10:22.260 Clinton complained about this famously.
00:10:25.280 Reagan had to deal with this as well.
00:10:27.800 You know, both parties have realized that the bureaucracy was out of control, but nobody
00:10:32.400 had done anything about it until Trump, because they just said, oh, it's impossible.
00:10:37.620 It's too difficult.
00:10:38.900 There's too many sort of regulations and boards to deal with.
00:10:42.660 The courts will strike this down, et cetera, et cetera.
00:10:45.300 Donald Trump is the only one who cut through all of that.
00:10:47.760 So I actually think that Democratic presidents will also like to direct their executive branch
00:10:52.180 and not have the bureaucracy operate independently.
00:10:55.100 I think that it's likely to endure.
00:10:56.760 Why do you think he's the only one? I mean, Reagan, you know, Reagan was courageous. Is it that it had just come to a place to where it was so bad it was obvious? Is it because he really doesn't care? He believes in what he believes and he's not going to be changed? What makes him different on this stuff?
00:11:17.820 um one i do think it's coming in from the private environment it's an immediate shock you saw that
00:11:23.300 with elon musk and doge it's an immediate shock working in the federal government environment
00:11:28.360 where you cannot fire your employees even if they just flat out tell you i'm not going to do what
00:11:33.240 you told me to do um that's a very different environment so that's that's got to be a shock
00:11:37.460 for the guy who built an entire show around telling people you're fired right um to be told
00:11:42.880 he's the president and he can't fire most of the people working for the executive branch
00:11:47.020 But I also think that the administrative state essentially became a much more aggressive political animal when it tried to oppose Donald Trump coming into the presidency.
00:11:58.880 They essentially lost that election. And then they spent four years undermining him and trying to destroy his presidency.
00:12:05.820 And then he came back in the second time and was like, I'm not tolerating any of this this time around.
00:12:11.460 So he may have personal reasons for it. I personally don't care.
00:12:15.260 I think it's wonderful either way that he's restoring this constitutional structure to our government that has been missing for, as we've been saying, a century.
00:12:24.980 This is how our government is supposed to operate.
00:12:27.280 The president is supposed to be in charge of the executive branch.
00:12:29.740 That's why we elect him every four years.
00:12:31.300 We don't elect Anthony Fauci to make the decisions for the country.
00:12:34.680 So it's accountable to us.
00:12:36.500 That's how it should work.
00:12:37.520 I don't think people have a clear understanding.
00:12:41.040 I think one of the biggest things that he has done is get rid of USAID.
00:12:46.600 That's why they hate Elon Musk so much.
00:12:48.920 That's why they hate Donald Trump.
00:12:50.920 That was a cash cow that was going out and doing all kinds of things under the radar, including color revolutions.
00:13:01.260 I think that was one of the more dangerous agencies or dangerous NGOs out there.
00:13:07.680 Would you agree with that?
00:13:08.520 Yeah, I call this part of the Trump administration, the great DEI defunding, but you can call
00:13:14.920 it whatever you'd like.
00:13:16.720 Essentially, the entire leftist activist network and NGO network was funded by the taxpayer,
00:13:22.440 largely.
00:13:23.440 It would be as though, I don't know, people will know the Heritage Foundation on the right,
00:13:26.680 for example.
00:13:27.680 It would be as though the federal government was sending billions of dollars to 37 heritage
00:13:34.280 foundations. 0.99
00:13:35.280 Heritage Foundation is just like my organization, Independent Women. We're all funded by private
00:13:39.720 donations, right? It would be as though the government were sending billions of dollars
00:13:43.720 to organizations like this, essentially to do leftist activism. And it's not just USAID,
00:13:51.260 although that was a huge part of it. It was all of these agencies where they were sending grants
00:13:56.200 out the door to these NGOs that were then turning around and using it for, I mean, some of the more
00:14:02.380 absurd examples or like to put on operas about trans people. But they did it domestically as
00:14:10.320 well. A lot of these leftist agitation networks, these organizations, why are they always so well
00:14:15.000 funded? Why do they have huge staffs that are working on six figure salary round the clock
00:14:19.540 on leftist activism? A lot of that was coming out of our pockets. And for the first time in my
00:14:25.200 lifetime, a Republican administration is actually going line by line. And Doge was actually very
00:14:29.880 successful in identifying a lot of these programs even if they didn't end up with the massive cut
00:14:34.960 that they wanted in terms of the overall budget they identified a lot of these programs and checks
00:14:40.160 that were going out the door to these wildly unpopular super left-wing causes goals and
00:14:47.140 organizations and they just simply stopped sending those checks they redirected them when they were
00:14:51.960 required by congress to spend the money they redirected them towards the original intent of
00:14:56.320 what a lot of these programs were supposed to be. They aren't supposed to be a blank check for
00:15:00.720 essentially woke activism in perpetuity. But I call this a great DEI defunding. And I think
00:15:07.260 you've seen how effective it is because in other countries that did not elect a Donald Trump,
00:15:12.400 right? In other countries, you do not see the same people call the vibe shift or whatever,
00:15:18.680 the woke being in retreat. People attribute that just as sort of the changing of the cultural
00:15:23.920 times, I see a very direct connection. A lot of these people are no longer being paid to do this.
00:15:30.280 And that has created that receding to the point where I feel like maybe two years later,
00:15:35.020 we've forgotten how tyrannical the edicts of this kind of cultural leftism, the wokeism was
00:15:41.740 in every American institution. And the fact that it's receded has not been an accident. It's been
00:15:46.880 due to this defunding. And then also another huge part of the Trump administration, the enforcement
00:15:51.820 of civil rights laws in a way that's actually even-handed and fair and actually applies to
00:15:57.080 white people as well as to black and hispanic people what a concept equal protection applies
00:16:01.760 to everybody um and i think those two things working together have created this essentially
00:16:07.660 woke recession right where people are talking about are we past peak woke are we are we over
00:16:12.640 with woke one i think aoc was talking about that right um that that's not an accident that's a
00:16:18.740 direct result of the policy and the termination of the Trump administration to both defund these
00:16:24.820 organizations in the very many cases in which they were funded by the taxpayer, and to then
00:16:30.380 enforce equality under the law to force, for example, companies to stop discriminating against
00:16:35.900 white men in their applications. They were declaring it. They were declaring they were
00:16:40.260 breaking the law, but nobody did anything about it. Not a Republican, a single Republican did
00:16:44.000 anything about it until donald trump in this administration inez um i've got about one minute
00:16:48.920 give a message to anybody who is discouraged or anybody who is thinking well i can't vote for the
00:16:55.080 republic or whatever can you give a message on why it's important for you to vote today
00:17:00.120 it took the left 100 years to do a long march through the institutions donald trump has had
00:17:06.020 two and he's done the best in 100 years in terms of actually turning back the institutional left
00:17:11.900 These things do not have immediate results. And sometimes it's hard to connect cause and effect
00:17:16.840 in a way that's like really obvious and clear for people. But things are getting better. They're
00:17:22.840 getting better in a way that I did not think I would see in my lifetime. And the way that is
00:17:28.760 turning back that inevitable one way ratchet where we're just losing and losing and losing and losing
00:17:34.020 even when we quote unquote win elections. This is the important election because things are
00:17:38.760 actually being done. This is not the Uniparty. Thank you so much, Inez. I really appreciate it.
00:17:45.080 Godspeed. If you haven't voted yet, please go out and vote. After all that we can do,
00:17:51.680 God will handle the rest. Inez Stepan from the Women's Forum, she's a senior legal analyst. 0.99

00:18:00.680 give your dog a pill, you know what an animal does. I mean, they do not have an understanding
00:18:07.060 of pharmaceuticals you know um and they have this really weird amazing system that can detect a pill
00:18:15.500 hiding in a glob of peanut butter or cheese or a piece of steak it's amazing they'll eat everything
00:18:20.260 except the pill which is why it's sitting on the floor like a tiny little insult to you one of the
00:18:25.620 things i like about friend factor is the daily supplement comes in the form of a treat something
00:18:30.520 you work into your dog's routine without you know turning you know into an everyday negotiation or
00:18:35.220 Don't spit it out.
00:18:36.900 Don't eat it.
00:18:38.380 You don't have to worry about any of that.
00:18:39.560 Get your first bag of Friend Factor.
00:18:41.160 It helps them with the inflammation and the pain.
00:18:44.560 I had shepherds, and I know the pain in their hips that they get when they're really pretty young.

00:19:05.220 you know i want to play something for you um this is uh slotkin who by the way elissa slotkin
00:19:17.100 is a cia agent she's a cia agent anyway um so here she is at the carnegie endowment for
00:19:27.180 international peace in washington dc and she says you know the thing about this election is
00:19:31.560 We have two fundamental different ideas of America.
00:19:34.260 And I want you to listen to what she says about Donald Trump's version and his vision for America.
00:19:41.520 See if you agree with any of what she's saying that Donald Trump believes.
00:19:47.320 Listen to this, cut 82.
00:19:48.700 The American people are looking for a path through the dark tunnel and into the light.
00:19:53.600 So here is my best stab.
00:19:55.120 Right now, what is underlying the polarization in our country are two fundamentally different visions of America.
00:20:04.060 President Trump thinks America is unremarkable, mediocre, and in decline.
00:20:09.400 He believes we are not exceptional in our role in the world, and we never were.
00:20:14.300 We're the same as China and Russia.
00:20:16.080 Okay, stop for a second. Stop for a second.
00:20:17.980 We are in decline. We were in decline. We're not anymore.
00:20:20.900 We were being managed in decline.
00:20:24.000 Unremarkable and unexceptional?
00:20:26.080 No, that's the opposite of what Donald Trump believes.
00:20:30.200 Exact opposite.
00:20:31.600 That we're not remarkable on the world stage?
00:20:34.820 No, we have a lot to offer.
00:20:36.620 You're the one always saying, sit down, sit down, sit down.
00:20:39.860 America doesn't need to lead.
00:20:41.340 Anyway, go ahead, CIA agent.
00:20:43.660 Go ahead, more.
00:20:44.880 In this term is quite literally the opposite of make America great again.
00:20:50.320 Really?
00:20:50.620 Instead, he believes America never again is going to be great.
00:20:54.780 Stop.
00:20:55.140 How can he say that he's going to put together the golden era, another golden era of America?
00:21:01.540 How could he possibly say that if he doesn't believe America is ever going to be great again?
00:21:07.580 Next, CIA agent.
00:21:09.320 These beliefs can so fundamentally destroy our laws, our known, our norms, and our spirit.
00:21:15.400 Okay, stop for a second again.
00:21:17.200 Who is it?
00:21:18.180 was it melania trump that said we're going to have to change our language our traditions
00:21:23.920 the you know all the things that make us was that was that melania or was that michelle obama i'm
00:21:31.380 trying to remember maybe the cia agent can tell us leaves were broken beyond repair he's just
00:21:37.580 gonna get his he's gonna cash out and get his cut for himself his family and his loyalists okay
00:21:43.640 stop so like funding a war in ukraine where your son is cashing in on all is that i mean is that
00:21:51.640 what you i'm confused i don't know what game we're playing with the cia agent here but i'm sure she
00:21:57.620 knows exactly what she's saying go ahead he thinks america is the titanic and he's charging the
00:22:03.260 passengers for a seat on the lifeboat oh my gosh and if you can't pay up it's not a problem for him 0.98
00:22:08.700 He believes in an America where the greedy get ahead and the selfless are suckers. 0.94
00:22:15.100 Is that what you think? 0.92
00:22:18.140 I mean, look, this is all nothing but CIA propaganda. 0.93
00:22:22.880 And I'm not saying the CIA is even as crazy as she is. 0.74
00:22:26.080 This is just her.
00:22:27.120 I used to be a CIA agent because I know how to do mind control on people. 0.99
00:22:31.360 So let me give a speech, you know, and I can do a little mind control. 0.94
00:22:35.020 I guess that's what she's doing.
00:22:36.000 I'm not really sure.
00:22:37.100 I don't pay that much attention to Alyssa Slotkin as she's so irrelevant, but she is revealing. 0.89
00:22:45.600 She's very revealing because the America she wants, she uses the term later in that speech, the iron broom, which is what happened in Poland.
00:22:56.000 So the little CIA, you know, USAID crowd, they're using iron broom and this is talking you down.
00:23:03.900 It's all lies.
00:23:04.680 All right, back in just a second. First, Mercury One. If you ever stop to think about how much
00:23:08.920 history can disappear in a single generation, family stops telling its stories. A community
00:23:13.760 forgets the people who built it. A country loses tracks of the principles that made it possible to
00:23:19.340 exist in the first place. Eventually, people begin to believe the world they inherited was
00:23:24.320 somehow or another just appearing out of nowhere. It's one of the reasons I started Mercury One. I
00:23:28.860 wanted to preserve the American stories and the documents and the ideas that now connect Americans
00:23:34.000 to their own history that work has grown i mean we are about to open in the first quarter of next
00:23:40.400 year a new museum it is the american journey experience it is i mean i'm i am working with
00:23:48.640 the designers and the storytellers and i'm going to tell you there is not going to be another museum
00:23:53.920 in america like it and i cannot wait for your family to see it we are so grateful for all of
00:24:00.280 your help over the years for our humanitarian missions, people facing disasters, persecution,
00:24:06.360 things that people never chose, and preserving history. Please join our team, mercuryone.org.
00:24:11.840 Give now, mercuryone.org. Tonight at 7 p.m. Eastern, you're invited to hang out behind
00:24:19.840 the scenes with Glenn as he watches the midterm results roll in and reacts to your comments live.
00:24:24.540 But you must be a Torch Insider to do it. Join us today at glennbeck.com.
00:24:30.280 so i want to talk to you um about something not about the election per se um the election will
00:24:56.320 affect all of this but as you're getting ready to go out and vote hopefully today let me talk to you
00:25:01.180 about the warnings that i have been issuing i have some more warnings for you this is for anybody who
00:25:06.980 you know is somebody who does not want to bury their head in the sand you cannot bury your head
00:25:11.880 in the sand the time to not pay attention is over you must now be prepared and we all have to be
00:25:18.180 adults and i know that's hard because you're struggling and you're you're fighting for every
00:25:22.240 scrap and you're like you're at the gas pump and you're like can when can i get a break i know i
00:25:27.940 know i know how you feel but now is the time the try men souls now is the time we must be adults
00:25:38.400 and we must look at this and we must prepare because so many people are not going to let me
00:25:42.540 tell you what's just happened um just a couple of days ago we just found out phones all over ukraine
00:25:48.700 lit up they have an air raid app one of the this is one of them that the ukrainians really trust
00:25:54.500 to tell them when to run warn of you know bombings in the area etc etc chemical attacks
00:26:01.080 fighting in the streets this alert that came out late sunday said russia had launched a nuclear
00:26:08.440 missile with a nuclear warhead on it as you can imagine everybody starts to freak out none of it
00:26:14.280 was true. The app had been hacked. Ukraine's Air Force had to go out and tell its own people there
00:26:21.500 is no radiation threat. It didn't happen. Yesterday, Zelensky confirmed Ukraine hit back.
00:26:28.820 Russia's emergency app started telling residents in Russia that nuclear warheads were on the way.
00:26:34.700 Some messages told them to stock up on food and get to a shelter. So the two nations at war,
00:26:40.220 Ukraine and Russia spent the weekend announcing to each other the end of the world was about to
00:26:46.680 come for all of their civilians, and they did it all from a keyboard. Now, also the freezers. We 0.88
00:26:52.980 told you a little bit about this yesterday. On October 12th, workers walked into supermarkets
00:26:57.600 all across France, opened the freezers, and got hit with a blast of hot air. Overnight,
00:27:03.100 hackers had gotten into the refrigerators, into the controls, in more than 500 stores and cranked
00:27:09.340 them up to 122 degrees one store in normandy hit 176 degrees some caught fire sprinklers went off
00:27:17.020 tens of millions of euros of food had to go into the dumpster the next morning every night a
00:27:24.880 supermarket freezer is just is defrosting for a little while it's routine what the hackers did
00:27:30.780 is they stretched that defrost from one hour to eight so the alarms thought it was maintenance
00:27:36.560 how did they get in one researcher said many of the freezers in these supermarkets now all across
00:27:43.440 europe uh have been running on the default password in august freezers started failing
00:27:49.460 at american military commissaries uh fort irwin naval station in newport travis effie warren in
00:27:56.140 wyoming which happens to be a nuclear missile base workers came into mounds of melted food
00:28:02.380 The Pentagon is now treating this as a suspected cyber attack, and Cyber Command is working with now the French. 0.51
00:28:11.680 Then it comes to the security world and what they're calling Black October. 0.87
00:28:17.020 On October 21st, I told you, critical flaws have turned up in software that run huge share of our websites on Earth.
00:28:27.960 Europe's cyber responders told anyone who couldn't patch to pull their sites offline.
00:28:34.260 Government sites went dark.
00:28:35.860 Banks reported AI agents inside their customer accounts that nobody authorized.
00:28:41.120 Election officials are, you know, are now patching systems two weeks before the vote.
00:28:46.960 Some of our systems were attacked.
00:28:50.480 The Washington Post, this is the new update for you.
00:28:53.400 The Washington Post has just come out with an article, and in the headline it says,
00:28:57.500 Anyone can be a super hacker now.
00:29:01.060 The world, according to the Washington Post, quoting, faces a cybersecurity reckoning.
00:29:08.220 At least nine major banks, nine major banks in South Korea have been hit.
00:29:15.520 Tens of thousands of people, financial data spilled online.
00:29:19.040 The likely culprit is not a spy agency.
00:29:21.460 It's just some 26-year-old amateur who, you know, getting help from chatbots.
00:29:27.280 New information.
00:29:28.500 In Britain, the defense secretary stood at a new tank factory and told households to prepare for, quoting, increasingly sophisticated cyber attacks.
00:29:40.800 Have three, this is still quoting, have three days of food and water, keep some cash.
00:29:45.360 Then he asked how people will cope if the local supermarket couldn't take their payment or if their freezers go bad.
00:29:53.260 Last year, hackers hit Marks and Spencers and the co-op and the shelves went bare.
00:30:00.220 So here's the problem.
00:30:02.280 We are facing a time where there are fake alarms and real alarms.
00:30:08.500 But the real alarms are telling us it's fake alarms and the fake alarms are telling us that they're real.
00:30:13.760 That's the trouble.
00:30:15.360 so how do we solve all this? What do you do? Let me tell you a story, September 26,
00:30:22.580 1983. I don't know if you've heard this story before. I know I've told it before, but
00:30:27.120 three weeks earlier, the Soviets had shot down a Korean airliner. If you're my age,
00:30:32.920 you remember it. 269 people, KAL 007. It included an American congressman. Moscow was convinced
00:30:40.680 Reagan was looking for an excuse, and the KGB was hunting for any sign of a first strike.
00:30:47.000 South of Moscow, in a bunker, a 44-year-old lieutenant, his name was Sanislav Petrov,
00:30:53.620 he was on duty, and his job was to watch new satellite systems that were built to see American
00:30:59.600 missiles the moment they left the ground, but it was all brand new technology. It was after midnight,
00:31:04.760 siren went off, red light lit up on the wall, launch. One American missile, then another,
00:31:11.660 then five. The computer rated its own confidence at the highest level. Now, Petrov's orders were
00:31:19.120 simple. He was supposed to pick up the phone and put it up the chain of command. The men above him
00:31:25.220 would then have minutes to decide whether they fire back. He said later he felt like sitting
00:31:30.840 in a hot frying pan, and he asked himself this one question. Why only five missiles? Because if
00:31:37.500 Americans were going to strike, they'd launch hundreds of, if they were going to start a 0.64
00:31:41.220 nuclear missile, a nuclear war, you wouldn't do it with five. You'd set hundreds and hundreds of 0.87
00:31:46.040 them. You know, you don't knock politely on the Kremlin's door and wait to see who answers.
00:31:51.740 So the ground radars hadn't confirmed anything, and the satellite system was brand new. New
00:31:57.060 things sometimes break so he picked up the phone and he reported a malfunction then he waited if
00:32:03.580 he was wrong the first warheads would have been landing in 20 minutes but nothing came the cause
00:32:11.020 was sunlight the sun hit high clouds over the american planes at just the wrong angle and the
00:32:16.420 satellite read the glares as rocket flare he wasn't given a medal he was actually given a reprimand
00:32:22.820 because he didn't keep the logbook properly in the middle of the night
00:32:27.240 while he was saving the world.
00:32:30.440 The system had exposed and embarrassed some very important people,
00:32:35.340 so he's moved to a quieter post, and then he was retired.
00:32:38.580 And the world didn't learn his name for 15 years.
00:32:41.120 And when it did, he kept saying the same thing.
00:32:43.700 I'm not a hero.
00:32:44.780 I was just at the right place at the right time.
00:32:48.040 Now, most people tell that story as the man who ignored the warning.
00:32:52.160 He didn't ignore it. He tested it. He knew what a real attack would look like.
00:32:59.000 So he could then see what wasn't a real attack. He stayed calm. Most people would have panicked.
00:33:06.080 Oh my gosh, nuclear war. They would have panicked. Now let me take you back to France again.
00:33:12.200 It's the Petrov story, except it's backward. In 1983, a fake attack looked real in France.
00:33:17.460 A real attack was dressed up to look routine, just the nightly defrost.
00:33:22.840 The Soviet alarm screamed while nothing was happening.
00:33:26.280 The French alarm stayed quiet while everything was happening. 0.82
00:33:30.260 Even Black October had its Petrov moment.
00:33:33.280 Two days in, the Dutch cyber agency looked harder and said the new flaws were tougher to exploit than anybody feared.
00:33:40.780 Somebody asked why. Why five? Why five?
00:33:43.640 that is the world we're walking into
00:33:47.560 your phone may tell you missiles are coming when they aren't
00:33:51.520 your freezer might tell you everything's fine when it isn't
00:33:54.700 but people who panic at every alert
00:33:59.080 will be stampeded by a kid with a chat bot
00:34:02.820 also people who shrug at every alert
00:34:07.160 wake up with a freezer full of soup
00:34:09.240 so what i'm telling you is it's time for us to grow up the world is getting scarier and more
00:34:18.020 serious every day something is on the horizon and the world's governments are telling all of
00:34:25.020 their populations they are telling you i am telling you this to be serious now serious is boring
00:34:34.080 And that's the point of it all. You shouldn't panic. Food and water in your house. Britain says
00:34:41.960 maintain three days. I'd make it two weeks. They say keep some cash in the drawer. I'd have two
00:34:48.840 weeks of cash. What does it take to run your household for two weeks? If you can, put it in
00:34:52.840 a drawer someplace. Make a paper list of all your phone numbers in case your phone goes dead.
00:34:59.500 Change the password on your router, your camera, your thermostat, anything in your house that talks to the internet.
00:35:06.200 Does your refrigerator have a chip in it, and is it talking to the internet?
00:35:09.920 Because hundreds of French supermarkets were ruined by a password nobody bothered to change.
00:35:16.000 Turn on all your updates. Learn your neighbor's names.
00:35:19.540 When the screens start lying, the person next door is your second opinion.
00:35:23.920 So when the next alert comes, and it will, do what Petroff did.
00:35:30.160 Don't run and don't shrug.
00:35:33.240 Does this look like the real thing?
00:35:35.160 Check a second source, then decide.
00:35:38.940 Being calm is not a feeling.
00:35:43.840 It's what preparation looks like from the outside.
00:35:49.640 Petroff had learned from years.
00:35:53.120 He learned that system before the night that it lied to him.
00:35:58.560 That's why he could hear the siren and go,
00:36:00.840 Mm-mm, something's wrong.
00:36:03.460 The work has to be done before the alarm.
00:36:07.600 He said, I was just one guy in the right place at the right time.
00:36:11.640 That's you.
00:36:12.520 You're going to be the right person at the right place at the right time
00:36:16.400 if you're prepared.
00:36:17.280 uh we are we are going to continue to give you the warnings as they come in because i think
00:36:24.300 they're going to be dismissed i think they're going to be overlooked um and the world does
00:36:29.940 not know what's coming i don't think our governments know what's coming yet you know
00:36:34.340 while tucker carlson is on saying well trump is going to nuke the world he's not going to use a
00:36:40.120 nuke if he uses a nuke he gives permission for the chinese to use a nuke in taiwan he's not going to
00:36:49.080 use a nuke if you know him at all the one thing he knows is one nuke and the entire world is destroyed 0.99
00:36:59.540 he knows it stop listening to these people who have been wrong over and over and over and over
00:37:08.600 again, trying to play on your emotions. I'm telling you right now, remain calm. If you
00:37:16.800 allow your emotions to get out of control, you're going to make bad decisions. It's why I'm trying
00:37:23.820 to stay, honestly, pretty pessimistic today. I have great hope for this election, but I don't
00:37:31.720 want to go into it all excited and hyped up that things are going to be great or things are going
00:37:37.140 to be horrible. But I have to tell you, I'd rather think things are horrible. So tomorrow, I'm
00:37:43.580 prepared. Tomorrow, emotionally, I'm prepared. Tonight, I'm prepared. That's all you have to do.
00:37:52.780 You just have to figure out what is the best way for you to deal with it. Because the time,
00:37:57.320 and I hear this from a lot of friends and a lot of people, Glenn, I just can't watch it anymore.
00:38:01.260 It's too depressing. Well, I'm sorry, that's not going to change the outcome. And I understood that.
00:38:06.820 And I still do, but I understood that when you didn't have to pay attention.
00:38:12.740 The world is now far too serious and can change overnight.
00:38:19.000 As Thomas Paine said, these are the times that try men's souls.
00:38:24.120 Because heaven knows how to fix a proper price to something as celestial as man's freedom.
00:38:32.420 That's what's at stake.
00:38:33.920 And I know you're fighting with just trying to get your kids to school and get them away from crazy people. I get it.
00:38:43.960 But your bigger responsibility is, A, today, go out and vote.
00:38:49.920 After all we can do, God will make up the rest. But we must do our part first.
00:38:56.120 Second, pay attention to the warnings that are happening now from governments all over the world.
00:39:03.920 because something is coming, and be a person that is calm and in control, and the way you do that
00:39:12.340 is just to prepare mentally, physically, spiritually, and temporally. Back in just a minute.
00:39:22.500 There is something about signing the Declaration of Independence that I wish more people understood.
00:39:26.720 Those 56 men didn't just sign a historic document. They signed something that was evidence that could
00:39:32.360 have been used in a trial on treason they knew this was a death sentence they put their names
00:39:38.320 their reputations their property their families their lives on the line and they did it in public
00:39:44.420 250 years later that willingness to stand openly for your principal still matters and it's one of
00:39:51.280 the reasons i really respect patriot mobile do you think patriot mobile if if slot slotkin gets
00:39:57.140 her way do you think companies like patriot mobile are going to have an easier time doing business
00:40:02.440 No, they're not.
00:40:04.900 Because that side does not believe in freedom of speech, truly freedom of speech.
00:40:11.740 There's some speech that's fine and other speech that just needs to be silenced.
00:40:16.320 No, that's not it.
00:40:17.880 And Patriot Mobile believes in that and so do I.
00:40:19.920 They support all of the amendments of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
00:40:24.680 So do I.
00:40:25.740 So do you.
00:40:26.320 So, please, get away from these giant cyber companies or phone companies that are taking your money and sending that money to the left.
00:40:36.620 We still have to use some of their networks, but you get the best of the best.
00:40:41.260 And for Black Friday, they got a great deal at PatriotMobile.com slash Beck, a free 5G smartphone plus two months of service, free.
00:40:49.060 No more excuses.

00:45:14.200 Well, a major announcement has just come out of the White House.
00:45:40.040 The president has just announced that he is cutting off all aid to Israel, $4 billion worth of aid, a lot of money, but let's put it in perspective.
00:45:51.960 About $300 billion plus we gave to Ukraine.
00:45:56.760 We're giving more to Jordan and everybody else than Israel, but he is cutting off aid to Israel.
00:46:04.120 He said it was Bibi Netanyahu's idea because he said it's a Marxist talking point.
00:46:09.800 And they said, we're okay without it, Mr. President.
00:46:12.840 We'll see. We'll get some comments on that.
00:46:15.560 Also, it is election day.

00:47:05.640 All right, Chip Roy is coming up next.
00:47:07.680 He's got a look at what's happening today and the bigger picture beyond today's result.
00:47:14.480 That's Chip Roy, and then immediately following him in about 10 minutes,
00:47:18.480 we have Ken Paxton on with us to tell us the latest from his campaign.
00:47:23.220 We have both of those power packed today in 60 seconds.
00:47:27.340 First, let me tell you about pre-born.
00:47:28.940 Sometimes there's a very short window in which you can change the course of somebody's life.
00:47:32.920 Today, a woman is facing an unexpected pregnancy.
00:47:35.940 She may be able to obtain abortion pills without ever walking into an abortion clinic.
00:47:40.560 She may make that decision all by herself without speaking to somebody who can show her that other options and real support is available.
00:47:49.080 Once that decision has been carried out, there's no going back.
00:47:51.780 and it's the most tragic part of that.
00:47:53.820 Well, Preborn works to reach those women before that happens
00:47:56.940 through compassionate outreach, free ultrasounds,
00:47:59.920 and connections to pregnancy support services.
00:48:02.780 They help women see that they do have people willing to stand beside them and help.
00:48:07.520 And that last part really matters because somebody who is, you know,
00:48:12.340 telling somebody to choose life means very little
00:48:14.760 if you're not willing to actually help them face the challenges that come with that choice.
00:48:18.960 $28 can provide one ultrasound.
00:48:21.380 $280 can help provide 10.
00:48:23.720 Reach your before-the-pill-does with your strongest gift today, pound 250.
00:48:27.780 Say the keyword, baby.
00:48:28.740 That's pound 250, keyword, baby.

00:48:34.500 Preborn, five-star charity, five-star rated charity, sponsored by Preborn.
00:48:39.760 My good friend, Chip Roy.
00:48:41.580 Hey, how you doing, Chip?
00:48:43.700 Good morning. Good to see you, brother.
00:48:45.280 Good to see you.
00:48:47.340 How are you feeling?
00:48:50.100 Well, I got to tell you, it's not a bad thing to not be on the ballot this year.
00:48:54.980 But as an American, and as somebody who has so many good friends in this world, in the Congress, and obviously in the administration and watching what's happening, I've been paying a lot of close attention.
00:49:07.080 I've been going all over the state of Texas.
00:49:08.220 I've been campaigning.
00:49:08.880 I went to Pennsylvania to campaign for Scott Perry.
00:49:11.080 I'm going to be out at the polls just a little bit to try to turn people out in Hayes County.
00:49:14.420 I've been trying to do media hits.
00:49:16.360 Look, I break this down into sort of three categories. 0.57
00:49:18.940 Category one is people showing up to defeat evil, to defeat radical Marxism, to defeat Islamism,
00:49:25.460 to defeat all the things we know that we're seeing out of the red-green alliance and the left.
00:49:30.060 The second bucket is that we should be celebrating all the great things we've done.
00:49:33.380 Securing the border, long-term permanent low taxes, big cuts to mandatory spending,
00:49:39.240 making sure that we've got a stronger military, recruitments up, etc.
00:49:42.740 The third bucket is the problem bucket, things we haven't dealt with, not dealing with Obamacare, not dealing with the price of health care, of housing, of food, of gas and diesel, messaging that properly.
00:49:54.720 I've been trying to meet people where they are, meet the American people where they are and say, look, yeah, we've got more to do.
00:49:59.980 It takes a while to undo decades of damage.
00:50:02.920 So I hope that's what cracks through.
00:50:04.880 We'll watch the polls in Texas, but I know that Texas is going to be decided today because we're going to have to have a massive turnout today in Texas from MAGA supporters to ensure victory statewide and up and down the ballot in Texas.
00:50:20.480 So you think if there isn't a big turnout, it goes the other way?
00:50:25.300 If we don't win today strongly, yes, I think it's a very bad day in Texas.
00:50:30.040 If we win today, then I think we can win up and down the ballot.
00:50:34.000 I really do think it boils down to today and turnout where we need to see it.
00:50:38.460 So how are you, what are you hearing about turnout?
00:50:41.340 You hearing anything?
00:50:42.880 It's early right now.
00:50:44.180 I've seen a couple of returns from counties that matter, but I've not been able to dissect
00:50:48.000 the data to understand who's coming out, like which age brackets are coming out.
00:50:52.300 We've seen a very large turnout over the two weeks of early voting from a lot of voters
00:50:58.960 who had not previously voted that we didn't see in Democrat or Republican primaries.
00:51:03.140 So we've got some newbies, you know, that are showing up. We've seen a lot of turnout from younger generation. You know, that's a factor. A lot of Gen Xers that have turned out. We've been lower with the older age group. So I'm hopeful that we're going to get a big Republican wave from our older turnout, our older voters, our rural voters, who traditionally still like to vote on Election Day. So that's the hope. But, you know, we got to watch the numbers. It's still early here at 9 a.m. in Texas.
00:51:29.080 You know, I'm concerned, Chip. I mean, Tal Rico is an absolute sham and a lie. Everything that he says that, you know, oh, I'm not for that. The guy did a vegan campaign. His campaign to get the nomination started with him saying this is all meat free.
00:51:52.400 and now he's, you know, barbecued, you know, he's got barbecue sauce on his face and a little bit
00:51:57.960 on his shirt. You know, the only thing they haven't done is have him butchering a cow
00:52:02.980 while saying that Jesus is the Christ and the risen, when his church doesn't even believe that. 0.96
00:52:09.400 I'm so fascinated by how so many people in our country can be duped like El Syed. 0.99
00:52:18.680 We know who he is. 0.96
00:52:20.120 All you have to do is watch the actions and watch the words in the actions before somebody was running, and you know who they are.
00:52:27.880 What's happening?
00:52:28.440 Well, you're not wrong.
00:52:29.300 You're not wrong at all.
00:52:30.280 I mean, look, these folks are telling you who they are.
00:52:33.120 We should believe them.
00:52:34.120 Yes.
00:52:34.420 You know, I'm one of those people, and I think you largely agree with this, that believes, you know, we are effectively at war, right? 0.96
00:52:40.160 There is a war raging with the Red-Green Alliance wanting to attack Western civilization, and that is a mix of Marxism, Islamism, and the whole thing. 0.91
00:52:48.040 And what we're seeing out of Tallarico is the embodiment of the sort of modern new age Democrat, whatever you want to call it. 0.90
00:52:54.440 By the way, it's fully fraudulent, right?
00:52:56.760 They basically admit it, right?
00:52:58.540 It's like saying, well, he's saying all this stuff so he can try to win in Texas.
00:53:02.500 The problem is, I go back to my three buckets.
00:53:05.080 We can do a good job of branding Tallarico and the rest of them as completely out of step for Texas.
00:53:10.960 We can do it, but we should do a better job of talking about the great things we've done.
00:53:16.800 a secure border, legitimately, a really stronger military. What we've seen with the mandatory
00:53:22.860 spending, we have the biggest welfare reform in our history, the biggest cuts to government spending
00:53:27.800 in the history of the world. These are all things that are baby steps towards getting inflation and
00:53:33.040 getting interest rates in check. The third bucket is where I'm the most concerned, right, which is
00:53:38.580 meeting the American voters where they are. None of them like Tallarico, really. What's happening
00:53:43.800 is where people are just frustrated. They're frustrated about affordability. And so we just
00:53:49.420 got to meet them where they are. And I'm hopeful, you know, we've had some of that. Some of us have
00:53:53.100 been trying over the last two weeks. Midterm elections are what they are. But we got to
00:53:57.360 remember that we're trying to change the trajectory of the country, Glenn. We've been doing that for
00:54:01.560 a while. This president has done it better than any of us could have even predicted 12 years ago
00:54:06.860 in terms of changing the trajectory. But we've now got to rally around that. I've got less than
00:54:12.200 a minute here, Chip. Tell me, give me the pitch to somebody who is frustrated, who feel that
00:54:16.880 Republicans let them down. I'm not going to go out and vote. Give me the pitch. Why should they go
00:54:21.840 out and vote? Well, look, you know, as we've always said, we have the worst form of government
00:54:26.500 except for all the others. And this Republican Party that's currently got the majority and has
00:54:31.760 had now for 21 months, we have made extraordinary changes. We have made extraordinary steps forward.
00:54:37.980 As I said, securing the border, the economy's trending in the right direction, moving American
00:54:41.600 manufacturing back a stronger military enlistment recruiting is up. We're re-stabilizing the
00:54:46.060 Western Hemisphere. We're attacking the cartels. We're stopping fentanyl from flowing into our
00:54:49.960 communities. We've been rooting out all the woke garbage. But yes, we have not gotten prices where 1.00
00:54:55.200 they need to go. Yes, the president has picked a fight with Iran because he's taking a hundred
00:54:59.320 year view to try to cut the head of the snake off over there. Whether you agree with it or not, 0.86
00:55:03.120 it was a reasonable thing to do. We have got to fight hard over the next two years for the rest
00:55:08.000 of this presidency to get prices down, to get housing affordable, health care affordable,
00:55:13.000 food affordable, gas and diesel prices down. We can do that. Let's get a refining capacity up here.
00:55:18.780 Let's do the right things for the country. Look, we can do it, but you got to let us finish the
00:55:22.700 job. That would be my pitch if I were on the ballot. That's my pitch as an American. And
00:55:26.640 that's my pitch as someone who has been working with the administration and Congress and still
00:55:30.360 has two months left to try to finish the job through Christmas. So Chip, here's what I'd like
00:55:35.140 to do i'd like to have you back on uh win or lose here this week and uh have you talk about what
00:55:40.460 the republicans should be doing and what's next for you because you are one of the more powerful
00:55:46.960 voices in texas and i i am i'm bummed that you're not on the ballot this time um but uh i'm interested
00:55:53.560 in where you're going next as well so let's have you back on later this week well glenn i appreciate
00:55:57.880 it god is good i've got i've got plans we'll talk and uh what we'll do in january and i'll be on the
00:56:02.140 blaze tonight uh watching the election night coverage and and uh look forward to talking
00:56:05.760 again thank you appreciate it god bless all right uh ken paxton is up in 60 seconds first let me
00:56:10.760 tell you about simply safe how often do we confuse familiarity with safety you drive down the same
00:56:15.700 street a thousand times and you know after a little while you stop paying attention to what's
00:56:20.000 around you or maybe you live in the same house for years and you assume that nothing is going
00:56:24.260 to happen bad to your house because, you know, nothing has. Nothing's ever bad happened here.
00:56:32.680 We have the oceans. Nothing could happen that's bad. Well, we'll see. Your house doesn't become
00:56:38.360 more secure simply because you've lived in it long enough to see that nobody does anything.
00:56:44.520 You know which floorboard squeaks, and that should not be your safety. You know, that shouldn't be
00:56:50.180 your alarm system. Did you hear that squeak? SimpliSafe offers a system that is designed
00:56:55.880 to help protect your property with sensors and cameras and professional monitoring options.
00:57:00.240 And it starts on the outside of your house, not when somebody enters your house.
00:57:04.380 You have an additional layer of protection when something is going wrong. Build the system around
00:57:09.840 the home you actually have rather than some imaginary perfect house. It's SimpliSafe offering
00:57:15.040 their best best deal of the year now 70 off their new system i mean they're practically giving it to
00:57:20.760 you with professional monitoring when you visit simplysafe.com slash back this is not going to
00:57:26.360 last long simplysafe.com slash back when you order tell them that i sent you when you check out that's
00:57:31.300 really important simply safe ahead of crime in real time 10 seconds station id
00:57:45.040 hopefully tomorrow i'll be able to say our next senator uh from uh texas ken paxton hello ken
00:57:53.440 how are you good morning we're uh just trying to push republicans out to vote because we need a
00:57:58.460 few more of them to vote today yeah i know um you know i saw a i saw numbers that that shows that
00:58:05.300 republicans are uh leading today early there are more republicans coming out but just to just to
00:58:13.860 make sure that we're ahead and to win, we need a lot more Republicans because we count on the
00:58:18.460 Republicans coming out today, right? Yes. So the Democrats voted early. They were actually ahead
00:58:24.220 of us in the first two days of early voting by a lot. And then we've slowly caught up. But it
00:58:29.600 comes down to today for Republicans that haven't voted yet, that are typical Republican voters
00:58:34.240 show up, we win. If they don't, we got a problem. So why does it matter, Ken, that you're the guy
00:58:40.420 and not talarico oh my gosh the difference between the two of us it couldn't be more immense uh this
00:58:47.380 idea of him being a socialist marxist anti-constitutional guy who has nothing in
00:58:54.260 common with most most texans he's more of a californian guy he represents values of california
00:58:59.700 and i'm a constitutional conservative believe in free markets believe in opportunity individual
00:59:05.220 rights. And there's literally nothing we agree on. Although right now during the general election,
00:59:11.180 he switched every single one of his views and he's no longer for trans and kids. He's no longer
00:59:16.980 for boys and girls sports. He's no longer for a state income tax. He's no longer for,
00:59:20.960 he wants to secure the border. He's not against the oil and gas industry trying to destroy it.
00:59:25.200 But previously until he got into this general election, he actually voted for all of those
00:59:29.660 things and even tried to pass bills to do some of those things. So, you know, he's run a very
00:59:34.600 dishonest campaign uh trying to deceive the voters because he knows that he cannot win if he tells
00:59:39.820 the truth and so he hasn't told the truth about me or about him so what happens if he wins today
00:59:46.280 to everything that we've done for border security here in texas well it's it's it's everything's
00:59:53.480 going downhill first of all we lose texas we got a real problem for the whole country we can't
00:59:57.900 afford to lose texas to a guy not just a regular old democrat run the mill democrat this is a guy
01:00:03.460 that is AOC, Mandani.
01:00:05.920 He called Mandani a template
01:00:07.640 for all future American politicians.
01:00:10.020 Oh my gosh.
01:00:11.760 His words.
01:00:17.420 Talk to me about the people who say,
01:00:19.500 I'm tired of voting for Republicans
01:00:23.180 because nothing ever changes.
01:00:25.440 They let us down.
01:00:27.760 Well, I mean, all I can say
01:00:29.500 is what I've accomplished.
01:00:30.400 I've, whether it was in the legislature or as attorney general, I've pushed for the things I think are right and that I believe in that are related to the, you know, defending the Constitution, protecting consumers in Texas, and fighting for conservative values.
01:00:45.860 I've done it my whole career, and I think it's easy to say.
01:00:49.840 It's harder to do, and I think you have to look at what people actually do, and that's part of what I'm saying about James Tallarico.
01:00:55.540 He's got this rhetoric now that sounds very moderate to conservative, but his record reflects a very radical view on everything.
01:01:03.360 So as far as Republicans, I can't make every Republican do the right thing, but I can be a part of the group that pushes Republicans towards the right place.
01:01:13.860 When I was in the legislature, was I successful at doing that every time?
01:01:16.740 No, but I certainly made my voice heard, and sometimes I was successful in moving it down in the right direction.
01:01:24.180 I will tell you, if you listen to this program, you know how I feel about Ken and his service as attorney general.
01:01:31.480 I don't think there was an attorney general.
01:01:33.660 There was only two of them.
01:01:34.900 What's his name is now a senator from Missouri.
01:01:38.960 And there's only two of you guys in the country that were actually doing, I think, the constitutional heavy lifting for the entire country.
01:01:48.140 And we need you in the Senate.
01:01:50.280 You were talking about Tallarico.
01:01:52.100 So his girlfriend's family now says he's lying.
01:01:57.280 This is from O'Keefe Media.
01:01:58.720 Let me play this clip.
01:01:59.740 I'd love to hear your comments.
01:02:01.420 James isn't going.
01:02:02.740 He's not going middle.
01:02:04.160 He's a progressive.
01:02:05.500 Don't put too much stock into border security comments.
01:02:10.320 I'm a border security Democrat.
01:02:11.800 He's offended by ICE and the Gestapo.
01:02:16.560 He and I have spoken about these issues. 1.00
01:02:18.260 He said he thinks we ought to have to welcome that out of our border. 0.99
01:02:22.780 Yeah, I mean, I felt like he changed, like it's like 180 degrees. 0.59
01:02:28.700 Do you think he's not flipping, but it's just for political, to get voters?
01:02:34.920 Yeah, he may, I don't know why he said it that way, to be honest with you.
01:02:39.280 I think he said it awkwardly, but yeah, I think he was probably just trying to push to the center.
01:02:44.100 Because that is, you know, sadly, life in Texas.
01:02:49.420 And that is, you know, because I tell people, I'm one of the most liberal people you'll ever meet.
01:02:55.600 But we've got to get, and I'm not saying I would compromise my principles, but we've got to get elected.
01:03:03.220 Any comment on that?
01:03:05.360 Yeah, that sums him up the entire campaign.
01:03:07.880 He's got to get elected.
01:03:09.500 So he lies about his positions.
01:03:11.940 He runs commercials saying, oh, I can't believe they think that Ken Pax is lying about me saying I'm for transitioning children and I'm for boys and girls sports.
01:03:19.200 Well, guess what?
01:03:19.860 He voted for all of that, and he talked about it often.
01:03:23.160 It was a big part of what he pushed in the legislature and what he talked about in interviews. 0.66
01:03:29.600 So he's a con man, and he's lying about all of his positions right now because he's got to get elected, and then he can go back and be the Mondani of Texas, and that's what he will be. 0.75
01:03:39.900 I promise you, if Republicans don't take this seriously, we're going to end up with a Mondani in the U.S. Senate from Texas canceling out every vote that Ted Cruz makes and making sure that we don't have any good judges, federal judges from Texas, because he can blue slip them. 0.64
01:03:54.060 OK, let me ask you, you get into the Senate.
01:03:58.140 How are you going to hold the squishy Republicans feet to the fire on things like the Save Act?
01:04:03.840 Well, I mean, to me, that's like, first of all, the most important bill that I've seen in decades because we don't fix the elections nationwide and allow these Democratic states to cheat.
01:04:14.760 We're going to lose the country anyway.
01:04:16.160 So I'm going to I mean, I'm pretty serious about that.
01:04:19.160 I want to understand why any Republican would not be for that.
01:04:23.000 I guess first I'm going to have conversations like, what can you say to me that explains why you would not want to protect our elections from voter fraud?
01:04:33.740 And if they try to tell me there is no voter fraud, I'm going to say, look, I know there is because I prosecuted in Texas.
01:04:38.700 Just because they don't prosecute it in your state doesn't mean you don't have voter fraud.
01:04:41.760 You do.
01:04:46.200 Ken, praying for you, praying for this election, praying for the great state of Texas.
01:04:51.820 Good luck.
01:04:52.560 We'll talk to you later.
01:04:54.020 Thanks, Mike, Glenn.
01:04:54.780 I appreciate it.
01:04:56.200 Ken Paxton.
01:04:58.500 It is going to be so close.
01:05:01.080 I've talked to people off air who said this is within one point right now.
01:05:09.120 Everybody's polling internally is all coming within one point.
01:05:13.440 If Republicans don't show up today in Texas, you will lose the battle.
01:05:19.700 You will.
01:05:20.280 And you will have.
01:05:21.300 you'll have one of the squishiest worst liberal out of texas out of texas you i mean you'll lose
01:05:30.760 you really will lose the the texas badge and i think it's because you have seven percent of
01:05:38.140 newcomers coming in seven percent the population of texas has grown by seven percent in the last
01:05:44.740 four years. You're losing what it means to be Texas. You've got to get out and vote. Please do
01:05:53.060 it. And join us with my coverage. I'm going to be at glenbeck.com slash torch tonight. And like I
01:05:58.940 said, I'm going to be with the Daily Wire crew, the Blaze, Patrick Bet-David, Dave Rubin, all of
01:06:04.540 them. See all of my interviews and so much more. Kind of a second screen experience at glenbeck.com

01:06:17.740 on torch all right let me tell you tell you about chapter imagine walking into a car dealership and
01:06:23.560 being told you have to pick a car before you're allowed to find out what it costs
01:06:26.600 what what do what are the features you got to pick a car well does it have an engine pick a car
01:06:32.760 that's like comparing medicaid uh medicare right now that's what it feels like there are premiums
01:06:38.720 deductibles, provider networks, prescription coverage, and enough fine print to make the
01:06:43.340 federal tax code look like a children's picture book. And the crazy part is you're supposed to
01:06:47.900 make a decision about all of it during a limited enrollment window. This is where Chapter comes in.
01:06:53.560 Their licensed Medicare advisors will help you compare all of the plans from multiple insurance
01:06:58.820 companies, explain the differences, and find the coverage that fits your individual needs.
01:07:02.840 and their help doesn't cost you anything.
01:07:06.760 Chapter has tripled their phone staff
01:07:08.600 because they're so good at what they're doing, honestly.
01:07:12.520 You should try calling on weekends.
01:07:14.760 Demand is still high,
01:07:15.900 but you may have to wait to speak with an advisor
01:07:17.780 for a few minutes,
01:07:18.580 but it is really worth the wait.
01:07:20.080 The call is free, takes about 20 minutes.
01:07:22.600 Trust me, these are the people,
01:07:23.800 they're the only ones that can look at all of the coverage
01:07:26.040 and find the right one for you.
01:07:27.840 Dial pound 250, say the keyword chapter.
01:07:29.720 Pound 250, keyword chapter.
01:07:31.920 Tonight's going to be unpredictable, so let's hold hands and watch with our eyes covered together.
01:07:36.280 Join Glenn for his election night watch party.
01:07:38.060 It all starts at 7 p.m. Eastern exclusively at glennbeck.com.
01:08:01.420 all righty so i was looking at uh you know cnn and their analysis and they are they literally
01:08:10.820 there's a story up about how the democrats could win up to 11 seats in the senate
01:08:17.440 that would be miraculous i mean that okay then jesus is on your side 11 seats
01:08:28.500 when when Nixon was excused and everybody hated the Republicans they lost four seats
01:08:38.760 losing four okay maybe we lose four losing control yes 11 seats flip to the Democrats
01:08:47.480 I don't think that's possible it's just not possible do you think it's possible well you
01:08:51.820 asked for a little glass half full today yeah I mean this whole show has been like give me a white
01:08:56.520 pill give me a white pill ricky and um i actually got uh from a politico insider some glass half
01:09:03.200 full uh notes for you okay they're basically saying that if el saeed wins this may be more
01:09:11.680 debilitating for the democrat party long term because he will become the albatross around
01:09:17.920 their neck remember kamala had to move to the far left while she was running for president and 0.99
01:09:25.400 battleground states rejected her insane like yeah let's do sex changes in prison kind of crap 0.96
01:09:31.200 and if el saeed wins he's going to join aoc and bernie as the face of the national democrat party 0.97
01:09:38.040 so this is a white pill for two years out but it's it that party i have to so far left americans
01:09:47.100 will likely reject it i have to tell you and i i don't want to get into this because i
01:09:51.640 i think the this why i would not panic if things don't go well today it's going to be if it if it
01:10:02.000 doesn't go well today if we lose texas we lose i mean it's going to be bad it's going to be bad
01:10:06.780 uh we lose the house and the senate you're going to see non-stop investigations you're going to see
01:10:12.280 all kinds of stuff president's going to says he's going to need a uh an auto pin just to sign all of
01:10:18.060 the uh the vetoes um but uh it's going to be bad however i think
01:10:26.380 they will i mean you heard about the guy up in uh new jersey what's his name i like to call him 0.65
01:10:34.460 a weem away but i believe it's a weem away i believe it's homoey it's what homoey homoey 0.74
01:10:41.480 We're going to go with that. 1.00
01:10:42.080 Ah, let's listen to our Hamawee.
01:10:45.400 So, Adam Hamawee, you're right.
01:10:47.960 The Atlantic.
01:10:48.820 Listen to this.
01:10:50.280 This should chill you.
01:10:51.880 I mean, my gosh.
01:10:53.960 Democrat likely headed to Congress from New Jersey, volunteered for an Al-Qaeda front, 0.68
01:11:01.380 testified for the defense at the Blind Sheik's terrorism trial,
01:11:06.000 and still refuses to answer questions about his long history working with Islamic extremists.
01:11:11.420 okay i mean i think that might be on his primary night he led his supporters in chance
01:11:19.640 in chance of that ever popular new york phrase ala akbar
01:11:25.560 oh my and this guy's probably going to win in new jersey you start cobbling these people together
01:11:35.260 If they don't cripple us, if they don't cripple us, I think this could be very good because people will see them for what they really want to do.
01:11:47.800 Because if I were them, I would just pass stuff all day long.
01:11:52.960 I would just pass all kinds.
01:11:54.500 I'd pass universal health care.
01:11:56.900 I would pass, you know, all the crazy bills that I want.
01:12:00.840 I would just keep passing them and let him just continue to veto.
01:12:06.080 Hopefully that will expose them.
01:12:08.680 But I don't think they're smart enough to do that.
01:12:10.680 I think you're going to start to see people that are Democrats, like Slotkin and what's his name from Pennsylvania?
01:12:24.700 Fetterman.
01:12:25.180 Fetterman.
01:12:25.960 I think you're going to see people like that start to push back.
01:12:28.920 I think these guys are going to frighten what few Democrats that are left in there are going to go, we can't do this.
01:12:38.540 We cannot become that party.
01:12:40.640 We can't become a Marxist.
01:12:43.520 And there could be a deep fight inside because the Marxists are not going to slow down.
01:12:49.940 They're going to be wildly empowered if they win.
01:12:52.880 And that could scare America because, honestly, you know, America, you need a good scare.
01:12:57.340 You need to see what I mean, I thought you got one. I really did. I thought we got what I was scared enough during the Biden Harris administration.
01:13:05.820 But apparently that wasn't enough to remember after two short years on what is what is happening.
01:13:12.660 So there is there is that possibility. I can't believe that guy in New Jersey.
01:13:18.920 My gosh, what is wrong? You were in New Jersey. You saw the World Trade Centers collapse. How are you doing that?
01:13:27.340 yeah it's interesting that there's been so much opposition research that's come out
01:13:31.680 against el saeed but not this guy how did this go under the radar well he's not a senator i think
01:13:39.240 that's how it's probably happening jason you want to ring in on this one the was it the uh
01:13:45.400 was it the else or what was his name again hawami we we covered this back when before and these this
01:13:54.900 is one of those cases where i was like in any sane election cycle in any sane world there is
01:14:01.260 no possible way there is no possible way this guy would be going forward and i don't understand
01:14:06.960 how they are completely doing they're doing a psyop on uh you know on the red green alliance
01:14:13.720 all across the board whether it is convincing that you know people like talarico are moderate
01:14:18.960 and specifically on on like trans issues and things like that or whether candidates like
01:14:23.960 Hamawi or El-Sayed are anything but or have have any kind of Islamist influence at all they're
01:14:32.880 completely just erasing that from the picture and if they win this is a huge I guess indictment on
01:14:40.200 where they're going in the future we thought before that this was uh that the mere fact that
01:14:46.000 they were these people were in the race would ultimately be the democrats downfall well they've
01:14:51.420 somehow psy-opted into some kind of
01:14:53.380 strength if they end up
01:14:55.580 winning some of these races.
01:14:57.200 It's not a good look for the direction of the
01:14:59.460 country at all. No.
01:15:01.520 No, not at all.
01:15:03.160 So,
01:15:03.640 we have bingo cards
01:15:07.300 being made by the audience
01:15:08.920 on how today's broadcast is going to go.
01:15:11.140 Tonight's broadcast is going to go.
01:15:13.460 And it's going to be very raw
01:15:15.360 because I didn't build a network
01:15:17.520 and I'm going to be on
01:15:19.320 other people's shows.
01:15:20.660 And so what we're doing is you're going to see me on other people's shows.
01:15:24.340 We're going to carry those interviews.
01:15:26.000 So it's Patrick Beck David and it's Dave Rubin and it's all the crew at Daily Wire.
01:15:31.020 And then I'm going to be on with Blaze as well on their coverage.
01:15:34.100 And we're just bringing the cameras into all of these interviews and we're just covering the interviews.
01:15:39.100 So you'll be able to get all of these voices.
01:15:41.760 But then it's just, I mean, I'm not doing a network coverage.
01:15:45.320 So it's just in between those, you know, whatever is happening and whatever we're feeling.
01:15:50.000 And I don't know how we're going to feel.
01:15:51.900 Aren't you going to be doing like some therapy sketching as well?
01:15:56.840 I know you guys got, you got a sketch pad for me because you're like, he likes to sketch during these things.
01:16:02.140 He'll just sketch.
01:16:02.740 But it could be very dark sketches.
01:16:05.480 They could be very, very dark sketches.
01:16:06.800 We can auction them for, you know, the GOP.
01:16:14.660 I don't know how it's going to go.
01:16:16.720 I mean, really, I don't.
01:16:18.640 I am trying to stay pessimistic.
01:16:22.580 You know, I know everybody else is.
01:16:24.740 How is that different from any other day?
01:16:28.320 Because if you have low expectations, everything is good.
01:16:34.460 If I walk in and go, you know, we're going to hold it, but it's going to be close.
01:16:37.960 Because I don't know.
01:16:38.900 I don't think anybody knows.
01:16:39.840 I don't think anyone knows.
01:16:41.600 I think I don't believe any of these polls.
01:16:44.160 I believe it is going to be close.
01:16:46.320 But I don't believe any of these.
01:16:47.700 close I still believe enough this is going to be the hardest one if Texas goes to Tallarico
01:16:54.300 and Michigan goes to El Syed those two are going to be the hardest two because I lose faith in
01:17:02.880 Texas and Michigan and I don't have a lot of faith in Michigan but if you can't see who that guy is
01:17:10.540 and you can't Texans you can no longer see who Tallarico is you're lost you're lost the good
01:17:17.600 news is i think uh this is so bad listen to this good listen this sound desperate this is the good
01:17:24.860 news the good news is only 54 of people who go to church on sundays are staying at home not voting
01:17:33.080 only 54 reason why i say that's good news is i think it's in the 80 in michigan what are they
01:17:41.480 like 10 of you rent a bus how many people in michigan i mean in texas that's a buttload of
01:17:49.400 people uh i mean it's got to be summer where what 80 80 84 percent of the people who are religious
01:17:58.900 and not that's not counting the islamist the is the islamist they're all on the bus they're all
01:18:06.620 piling in it's going to be hard it's really going to be hard i don't know what bingo card i'm going
01:18:14.740 to use because i mean i don't know what's going to happen tonight i've been with you for a lot
01:18:19.820 of midterms now yeah and i have never seen you more anxious before an election until this one 0.83
01:18:26.100 why is that because the marxists have taken off their masks and so have the islamists 0.92
01:18:33.220 before they were trying to convince you and you could say well you could say well maybe you got 0.96
01:18:42.280 that wrong maybe that's not quite true or they still have to take their mask off to actually do
01:18:48.880 it now they're telling you and anytime someone tells you and this is what they're saying to the
01:18:55.940 country they're going to fundamentally transform us take the presidency out uh unicameral system
01:19:05.000 so the senate is gone it's just one thing and that unicameral system is in charge of the supreme
01:19:10.020 court that's what the marxists are saying the average democrat is saying we're going to pack
01:19:14.780 the supreme court and we're going to put people who disagree with us in jail we're going to put
01:19:19.880 elon musk in jail do you know a country does not take a guy like elon musk who is transforming the
01:19:29.020 world and put him in jail because you disagree with their opinion that's insanity so now there's
01:19:38.960 no more mask to take off they've told you so when they get in they'll look at each other and say we
01:19:46.620 told them this this is what they wanted they will read that as and this is the one thing that might
01:19:52.080 change the 28 election is your average democrat is going to be told schumer is going to be told
01:19:59.600 sit down and shut up sit down and shut up we're in charge the people put us in charge we told them
01:20:09.480 what we were going to do they're going to read this as a mandate and it's going to get ugly 0.98
01:20:14.740 And I, with everything that, you know, I just issued another warning this morning.
01:20:19.940 This one is on what England is saying about cyber and what happened over the weekend with Ukraine and Russia both getting alerts that missiles had been launched against one another.
01:20:33.140 Something is, we are in a very precarious situation.
01:20:39.160 And all of the sides are being very clear on who they are.
01:20:43.580 And I think that's why the Republicans are having a hard time, because everybody feels it.
01:20:48.840 Everybody knows it.
01:20:50.160 Everybody's hearing it.
01:20:51.180 And the Republicans have been sitting on their hands like, you know, it's 1956.
01:20:55.380 Everything's fine.
01:20:56.000 I'm going to go home and watch Leave it to Beaver.
01:20:58.320 No, it's not that anymore.
01:21:00.500 Your republic is at stake.
01:21:01.860 Where the hell have you been?
01:21:05.540 But the republic is at stake.
01:21:08.580 So it's your turn now to do your job and to sit out the election and say,
01:21:13.680 if I hear one more person say, God will take care of it.
01:21:17.800 Who was it that was on the show yesterday that said, yeah, Turek, it was so good.
01:21:22.620 Yeah, then why are you going shopping?
01:21:26.160 Didn't Jesus say, don't worry about where your next meal is coming from?
01:21:29.340 Why are you going shopping?
01:21:31.380 Jesus will take care of it.
01:21:33.400 No, no.
01:21:35.400 After all that you can do, he'll take us the rest of the way.

01:28:38.780 Hello, America.
01:28:39.620 Welcome to the Glenn Beck Program.
01:28:41.120 I have one of the best, I think, political minds in the country with me.
01:28:45.540 Steve Dace is the Blaze TV host of the Steve Dace Show.
01:28:49.680 He really digs into all of the numbers,
01:28:52.520 and he ain't buying a lot of the polls that you are seeing.
01:28:55.960 That doesn't mean it's going to be a good night.
01:28:59.120 I want him to explain in 60 seconds.
01:29:02.060 First, let me tell you about American financing.
01:29:04.160 How many of the financial decisions that we make or made five years ago are still the right decisions today?
01:29:10.400 Back then, you had a different income, maybe different expenses, certainly different prices at the grocery store.
01:29:15.500 But a lot of people are still operating with exactly the same financial arrangements you had back then.
01:29:20.720 Yet, the world around you has changed.
01:29:23.060 If you own a home, the one thing worth reviewing is how much home equity fits into your overall financial picture.
01:29:29.820 American Financing offers a smart equity loan that lets qualified homeowners access the equity without giving up your low rate of interest.
01:29:38.820 Please do not.
01:29:40.140 If you've got a low interest rate and it's fixed, don't touch that.
01:29:45.200 Don't touch that.
01:29:45.920 We're not talking about a variable rate or anything else.
01:29:47.980 You can leave that alone.
01:29:49.620 The equity that you can get and use may be to great advantage.
01:29:54.160 The average person that is working with American Financing from this audience is saving an average of $830 a month.

01:30:16.420 Welcome to Steve Day.
01:30:17.460 Steve, how are you, my man?
01:30:18.600 I am doing well, brother.
01:30:19.620 How are you?
01:30:20.020 You know me.
01:30:20.660 I always love clarity, and we're going to get some clarity today.
01:30:23.540 so give me bad clarity over lack of clarity just give me clarity uh i have more optimism
01:30:30.400 in the el syed race than i do in the texas race i mean it could go either way in either of those
01:30:39.900 states and i think it's going to be close but i at least see some people that are on the other
01:30:45.920 side going i can't vote for that in texas i have no idea and we have gained seven percent in our
01:30:52.180 population and most of it's from california what are your thoughts on texas so when i i took four
01:30:58.740 states because that's all i was going to have the time for and i wanted to have some geographical
01:31:02.640 diversity so i went and did a deep dive on early voting in four states here leading up to tonight
01:31:07.820 and that was ohio uh michigan texas and my home state of iowa and i i came out of it um less
01:31:15.180 worried about michigan and iowa and more worried about texas and ohio and i think what's happened
01:31:22.060 in Michigan is they've suffered for a decade under Gretchen Whitmer. And the right in Michigan
01:31:28.320 has been very divided going back to the Tea Party-Romney split from 2012. It's never really
01:31:33.460 recovered, but they've lost enough now that people are starting to realize we are going to hang
01:31:37.760 together or hang separately kind of a thing. So, you know, Mike Rogers is not my kind of Republican.
01:31:42.800 Right. Ken Paxton's way more my kind of Republican. Yes. Mike has ran a way better race. So I was just
01:31:47.940 in michigan uh for my annual michigan football trip and so i'm in the i'm in syed syed's part
01:31:53.600 of the state i'm in ann arbor ann arbor mount pleasant uh kalamazoo east lansing the big
01:31:58.900 college towns that's what won him that primary that he was supposed to win by 20 points he only 1.00
01:32:03.080 won it by one over haley stevens and i expected i literally expected to see like overweight lesbians 1.00
01:32:09.080 on prayer mats in on campus you know genuflecting to mecca you know i mean there were there were 1.00
01:32:14.660 some al-sayed signs for sure but it wasn't the level that i expected i will tell you the tv ads
01:32:20.140 that i saw the weekend i was in ann arbor just this was just two weeks ago uh they were hard
01:32:24.440 no one no one in michigan's gonna not know that al-sayed is is you know with them and his family
01:32:29.520 is connected to the muslim brotherhood what sharia law is mike rogers may not be our kind of
01:32:34.480 republican but he's running our kind of messaging like this is so how this will provide a reckoning
01:32:39.460 to the people of michigan and i think to give my credit in his campaign i think that's what
01:32:43.700 propelled some of these democrats to say all right and i think they also think that mike has a real
01:32:48.220 chance to win i can promise you that if mike had no chance to win haley stevens does not do that
01:32:52.820 and there because she could have done that a week ago she could have done that three weeks ago 0.81
01:32:56.160 say it's been ghosting her this entire time why did she do it the final weekend i think because
01:33:01.300 they think mike rogers has a real chance to win so when she comes out because i think if he wins
01:33:06.340 you know if if this radical marxist islamist kind of movement happens and it's controlling the the
01:33:14.320 senate and the house i think that's really dangerous and it will split the party because
01:33:19.320 i just don't think i don't think they're i don't think everyone's in lockstep with that i think
01:33:26.040 there's enough democrats that are going to say no no no no there's going to be a fight for the
01:33:30.540 heart of that party there i was just in that area again a month and a half ago for tp usa's
01:33:36.000 pastor summit and i rerouted my entire trip i was going to go speak somewhere else but given that's
01:33:40.980 my former home state and what was at stake they asked me to reconsider my schedule and i did
01:33:45.660 because this is the first time there's an organization they've ever done they've ever
01:33:49.340 linked tp usa action with tp usa faith they have charlie always wanted to keep them separate
01:33:53.640 but they figured given the moment for this was for michigan they added an extra night early
01:33:57.780 and had tp usa action come in to mobilize the pastors politically and that's the that's the
01:34:02.960 night that i came in and spoke and i'm going to tell you i mean you can just you see isis flags
01:34:07.440 in nearby dearborn they just fly out in the open i mean there's there's calls to prayer i mean how
01:34:12.560 is this how i mean it's become a london-esque a london-esque no-go zone is what dearborn michigan
01:34:17.480 should be uh a 20 point blowout today is there a chance that this thing flies like it did where
01:34:25.220 say it was supposed to win by 20 points i think there is a chance i i think again i think mike's
01:34:30.880 politics might be neocon adjacent yes and you can make an argument given the state of michigan's
01:34:36.280 recent voting history you maybe needed a bridge republican like him before people would come to
01:34:40.820 people like us yeah like um i would be if like if i was the nominee for u.s senate haley stevenson
01:34:45.420 and democrats are probably not making that choice right um and so he is providing i guess we would
01:34:50.740 call it a safe harbor for people to say at some point sanity has to win here and i i you know
01:34:55.960 we've been waiting you know when you do what you and i do for a living every day you you ask yourself
01:35:00.000 all the time like what's the rubber band moment i mean when does this get pushed so far that
01:35:03.920 regardless of whether you like donald trump or not or whatever your pet issue or cause is you're
01:35:08.660 just like i i can't do that i can't go that far and i think what would be fascinating tonight is
01:35:13.900 if say it's 51 49 at the end of the night republicans in the senate and michigan is the 51st
01:35:19.200 state because i think that would be one of the biggest storylines we've had in in recent memory
01:35:24.600 in a midterm election where essentially the normie america normie michigan just got together and said
01:35:30.540 no we just do this we can't do that it's too we'll figure out our disagreements and stuff later
01:35:34.540 that would kind of be a throwback to how we used to do things in this country when you and i were
01:35:38.080 kids yes but normie america just stepped in and said i just can't have that i i think it's at
01:35:43.240 least 50 50 that he that mike rogers is going to win i think it's at least 50 50 talk to me about
01:35:49.320 paxton so the thing about paxton pouring into your early voting data and let me just add this as a
01:35:54.020 disclaimer i mean texas doesn't reveal any partisan uh activity in early voting you don't have any
01:35:59.980 idea who these people are so everything's a model everything is all right the only assumption were
01:36:05.380 granted is whether they voted in a primary and on which side and even that requires still a little
01:36:10.120 bit of modeling to figure the latter out the thing that has me spooked about texas is um about one
01:36:16.660 at my model showed about one out of every five early voters in texas had not voted in the last
01:36:21.020 two primaries and i and i'm gonna assume that is probably millennial and zoomer youth who who
01:36:27.540 the the reason why boomers and gen xers are freaked out by talarico they want him to be
01:36:33.360 their pelagius they want him to redefine religion and christianity and faith in america and so
01:36:38.000 they're flocking to vote for him and and that if if that assumption is correct then that would
01:36:44.440 that would increase the margin that republicans would have to win by on election day i also think
01:36:49.280 uh as great of a public servant as he has been um and and i mean if if we looked at republican
01:36:54.440 statewide uh public servants in the last decade desantis paxton kim reynolds i mean they're going
01:37:00.300 to be on everybody's top five or six or seven list yeah he's run an awful campaign frankly
01:37:04.360 awful i mean you cannot come up with any affirmative message that he has offered the
01:37:08.180 people of texas at all um i you know hey you know what was your favorite ken paxton speech what was
01:37:14.080 your favorite one i don't have one nobody does nobody has why i asked nobody does and and so
01:37:18.720 it's it's been very and i can't even name my favorite paxton ad and then his personal issues
01:37:24.160 have made it hard for my my my fellow evangelicals there's a lot of prominent ministers and pastors
01:37:30.180 in your state that would bring him up on stage and endorse him in every in any other cycle but
01:37:34.840 because of what's gone on in his personal life and it's still ongoing won't i have to i have to tell
01:37:38.960 i had a i had a very prominent evangelical say to me uh recently you know uh glenn i have i've
01:37:45.140 always had this theory um your you go left when you go dark if your personal life is just out
01:37:52.840 absolutely out of control 100 it usually you can always tell when a man is compromised in his
01:37:57.740 personal life that happens every time correct yeah and he said in my lifetime paxton's the
01:38:02.400 only one that we're more right the more broken his life was more broken the more he's like yep
01:38:07.720 i think all that being said james tallarico is not providing a mike rogers um safe harbor
01:38:15.520 I mean, he's open about this.
01:38:16.960 I mean, he speaks with forked tongue.
01:38:18.580 All this is not oppo from grainy videos.
01:38:21.000 These are 4K videos we took like six months ago.
01:38:23.620 He is out to redefine not just what it means to be a Christian,
01:38:27.360 but really to redefine what it means to even be a Texan.
01:38:30.180 I mean, he represents anathema to every custom and heritage of the state.
01:38:34.600 Oil, beef.
01:38:35.780 Everything, football, everything.
01:38:37.440 So gas down the street as I drove in this morning was $3.33 a gallon.
01:38:41.740 That's a dollar more than it would have been 1.00
01:38:43.700 if we had not launched this stupid foreign war. 1.00
01:38:45.480 Although, let's also be honest, 1.00
01:38:46.820 if one state in the union profits off of oil prices being too high,
01:38:51.240 we're living in it right here.
01:38:52.660 The Texas and Texas A&M NIL funds,
01:38:55.100 bad news for the rest of college football.
01:38:56.760 You're going to get outbid for every player this offseason
01:38:58.960 in the transfer portal by the Texas and Texas A&M NIL funds
01:39:02.160 because of what's happened with oil this year.
01:39:04.360 So if the fact that gas is a dollar more a gallon
01:39:08.400 makes you think,
01:39:09.140 i've got to go out and vote for the fork ton demon made manifest then i i think we have to
01:39:13.880 seriously reevaluate regardless of how the level of brokenness in ken paxton's life i think i think
01:39:18.720 we have to seriously reevaluate the paradigm of what the state of texas has become that's what
01:39:22.880 i think if he wins if we lose texas do we can we win the electoral college you can't win no i mean
01:39:31.840 between california new york and texas you're done i think it's like 68 of the total electoral
01:39:36.940 college vote right and and the thing that's different about my home state of iowa is the
01:39:42.340 the democrat there that's running for governor rob sand has run 20 million dollars pretending to not
01:39:47.260 be a democrat right tallarico is not doing that i mean tallarico is is he's evangelizing he's
01:39:53.380 proselytizing this is he is this is if pelagius and um you know and and and a socialist had a
01:40:00.140 child all right and rob bell had a kid it would be james tallarico i mean he's openly just going
01:40:05.560 to town hall saying yeah we're just going to let everybody in the country i mean i i think at that
01:40:10.080 point his ads are saying the opposite his ads are saying i'm a border uh a tough border democrat
01:40:17.460 but that would be a redefining of what those terms mean like like you read like he redefines what
01:40:22.600 christian means right yeah and so i think if he's able to get away with that here particularly in a
01:40:27.920 state that has not elected democrats statewide since 1994 i think it is i mean my home state
01:40:32.680 of iowa people like me we just made it red in the last few years i mean tom harkin represented us
01:40:37.000 in the state for 30 years he was maybe the most liberal member of the senate not named kennedy
01:40:41.680 but then for a for a generational red state like texas to go to this kind of figure who is not a
01:40:47.220 bridge candidate like a mike rogers is from a partisan standpoint but represents a hard hard
01:40:52.200 turn you have to view that as a paradigm shift and see the state of texas differently i think
01:40:56.540 all right more with steve dace here in a second steve is going to be on blaze coverage i'm going

01:41:30.060 at blaze uh patrick bett david dave rubin and uh but i'm not going to provide all the number
01:41:35.320 crunching uh stuff so kind of a second screen thing glennbeck.com slash uh torch make sure you
01:41:41.100 join us tonight it's it's it's going to be memorable it is going to be memorable and uh
01:41:47.800 especially if what steve says happens to texas because that is a paradigm shift in america uh
01:41:55.700 and has grave consequences for america but we'll find out tonight more in just a second with steve
01:42:02.260 first let me tell you about my patriot supply question for the pentagon why is 90 days an
01:42:06.760 appropriate emergency preparedness target for a military base but the advice for the government
01:42:11.920 for american families is to keep several days of food on hand obviously a military installation has
01:42:18.140 different needs than your house but the principle is exactly the same if somebody or something
01:42:22.660 interrupts your access to things that you depend on, how long can you take care of yourself before
01:42:27.580 you need somebody to come and rescue you? My Patriot Supply has a three-month emergency food
01:42:32.840 kit designed to provide 2,000 calories a day. It's not some creative accounting where a handful
01:42:38.480 of crackers gets counted as a meal. It's 2,000 whole calories every single day for 90 days.
01:42:44.380 The food can last up to 25 years in storage. The kit is built on an actual 2,000 calories a day.
01:42:49.920 three months means three months and it lasts up to 25 years in storage buy it once put it away and
01:42:55.340 you're ready the pentagon has made a plan they are very clear i just gave you some other warnings
01:43:01.000 that came one another one came out of the uk again today please prepare prepare with glenn.com
01:43:08.220 prepare with glenn.com get your 90-day action in plan today 10 second station id
01:43:19.920 let me get your reaction on a couple of things cut 75 please this is an alaska voter that just
01:43:31.080 went into to vote i don't remember seeing the other dan sullivan i was i totally forgot to
01:43:37.120 look for two dan sullivan the two were together on the ballot yeah you didn't notice that i can now
01:43:42.840 i might be just having a brain freeze but i don't remember the second dan sullivan
01:43:48.120 and uh i yeah i don't know intend to vote for oh i definitely did intend to vote for the real
01:43:57.620 dance elephant what's going to happen so if you recall the the infamous florida recount began
01:44:04.160 because people went into palm beach county voting machines and thought that they were voting for al
01:44:08.940 gore and came out and said that the machine claimed they were voting for pat buchanan instead
01:44:12.980 you remember that's how the entire thing began um i i could foresee a scenario where if that's
01:44:19.100 the 50th or 51st senate seat to determine control with a vice president cast you know breaking ties
01:44:25.320 i could foresee a scenario where we are looking at weeks and weeks and weeks and weeks and weeks
01:44:29.660 of legal actions very unique legal actions over what is a clear attempt at this should be so
01:44:35.280 this is i think i think i think this is fraud i think that i think the new york times getting out
01:44:39.460 and trying to get out in front of this a few weeks ago was indicative of the fact
01:44:42.240 that they but they they understand that this isn't chicanery a crime was committed here
01:44:46.460 and so they're trying to kind of retcon their credibility for later when there's indictments
01:44:50.220 over this so i i do think that this is the most intriguing subplot of the night for sure
01:44:55.080 uh let me play this this is audio somebody just came out of michigan and voted this is from cnn
01:45:00.660 listen tell me who you voted for for senate uh mike rogers okay and have you voted for republican
01:45:07.760 in the past never so what is that the significance of that vote today um draw your own conclusions
01:45:15.740 why could you not vote for al-sahid um because i'm against hate tell me that's remarkable to me
01:45:26.780 that shows that the polls may be really wrong that person he does not want to tell cnn that
01:45:33.660 because he's got a he's worldview is conflicted correct all right because because l what he has
01:45:38.960 to confront and that that's why i think this is 50 50 because i i think the michigan republican
01:45:44.140 base is going to be very mobilized and i have not said that uh like ever uh as a as a former
01:45:49.320 michigander uh except when donald trump is on the ballot all right it's been like 15 years since
01:45:53.580 they've been united and mobilized they're going to be mobilized the the early voting numbers for
01:45:57.140 our side and michigan looked really good my question though is is there enough of those
01:46:01.700 people that when their worldview comes into conflict how are there are how many bill maher
01:46:05.960 democrats are left and i would suspect there's more left in a michigan you know where you still
01:46:10.360 have an assembly line yeah you know population than exist in new york or a california but is
01:46:15.120 there enough of those because i also think that in places like where i grew up in grand rapids
01:46:20.320 which you know ken and ottawa county michigan those twin counties had more evangelical churches
01:46:25.000 than any twin counties in america when i was a kid growing up there and and now they're a place
01:46:29.500 where there's a lot of white suburbanites
01:46:31.380 in a neighborhood like that
01:46:32.500 that are doing the opposite dance of this gentleman.
01:46:35.220 They are anxious to show that they're not haters
01:46:37.280 and that they can't wait to vote for the Muslims
01:46:39.540 so they can receive spirit of the age absolution. 1.00
01:46:42.380 And so we're gonna lose a couple of those people too
01:46:45.200 in my former hometown of Grand Rapids.
01:46:48.200 And so there's gotta be on the Eastern side of the state
01:46:50.420 where they can hear the calls to prayer
01:46:51.900 over the loudspeakers from Dearborn.
01:46:53.320 They can hear them when they walk their dogs at night.
01:46:55.540 There's gotta be enough of those people
01:46:57.160 to put Mike Rogers over the top.
01:46:58.440 tell me what's going to happen in uh ohio uh i'd like i feel better about john houston than i do
01:47:03.780 vivek ramaswamy um the demographics uh the the early voting there was only about a one point
01:47:09.400 difference from what it was in 2022 with higher volume um vivek as effective of a messenger and
01:47:15.080 influencer he was there's a presidential primary i think he's also ran a very poor campaign it's
01:47:19.380 been well known more known for his thoughts on h1b visas and you know maybe dropping his kid and
01:47:24.620 trying to swing a baseball bat when really he just had to stick to mainstream meat and potato
01:47:28.780 republican issues so to me that's a state independence play a huge part in ohio and
01:47:34.660 that's the thing i would tell your audience to watch tonight is the independent normie vote if
01:47:38.340 you want to know how the internals of all these polls that are forecasting like atlas intel
01:47:42.880 is forecasting a d plus 6 to 14 environment the biggest we've ever had in my in my lifetime was
01:47:49.080 D plus 16. That was the Watergate election of 74. Well, if you look at the RealClearPolitics
01:47:55.380 polling average, every poll in that average other than Rasmussen is forecasting that Democrats are
01:48:00.640 going to win independents by an average of 22 points. To put that in perspective, that would
01:48:05.160 be bigger than 2006 when they won them by 16 or 18. And that's the biggest midterm election when
01:48:11.620 Democrats have had since 1974. And so that's how they're coming up with their numbers. And there's
01:48:16.640 a lot of independent voters in ohio that's how they keep electing a guy like a mike dewine who
01:48:20.880 we can't stand but that's kind of who he is and that those are the voters to watch there that's
01:48:25.260 a place where you could see several points of split ticket voting several people voting for
01:48:29.300 john houston but maybe not voting for vivek ramaswamy that's this is an honest question
01:48:34.060 this is an honest question the woman ramaswamy is running against can we play that clip of
01:48:39.400 no we don't have time hey hang on can you hang on just a second because 0.95
01:48:43.700 she sounds drunk all the time yeah she does yeah is that just a she sounds maybe it's a 0.77
01:48:50.980 buckeye tailgate thing i don't know it's bizarre it's bizarre all right more in just a second uh
01:48:56.860 steve dace he'll be joining tonight on his blaze tv coverage and don't forget you can sign up and
01:49:02.840 watch all of it and all of the different coverage that i'm going to be part of at glennbeck.com
01:49:08.140 slash torch okay more in a minute
01:49:11.240 let me tell you about rapid radio somewhere along the way we decided that every piece of
01:49:22.340 technology needs uh to be a computer your refrigerator has an app your toothbrush can
01:49:27.380 be connected to the internet why your phone which originally invented so people could talk to each
01:49:33.640 other now requires about 14 different steps to accomplish to just accomplish that very simple
01:49:37.740 task of talking to one another sometimes the best technology is the kind that you know does one
01:49:43.520 really important thing just really well and then that's it that's why i love rapid radios they are
01:49:48.880 pushed to talk communication devices you push a button you talk the people on your channel can
01:49:53.460 hear you no dialing of the phone no numbers no scrolling through contacts no waiting for somebody
01:49:58.340 to notice an incoming call rapid radios they work over cellular data networks so you're you know
01:50:03.900 given the convenience of two-way communication without being limited to short range.
01:50:08.040 I mean, it is from, you know, Alaska to New York.
01:50:11.560 It's not a problem.

01:50:36.280 Join the Midterm Chaos Live tonight at 7 p.m. Eastern for Glenn's election watch party.
01:50:40.400 That's happening only at glennbeck.com.
01:51:01.100 uh i have steve dace with me and i want to ask you steve about amy acton because uh you know i'm
01:51:13.280 an alcoholic i'm i mean i'm a recovering alcoholic but i when i was drinking i was a very high
01:51:19.860 functioning alcoholic i mean i was i was running you know a radio station actually three of them
01:51:26.300 mainly into the ground but i was running them and most people most people had no idea that i was
01:51:33.200 drunk all the time um uh you're good at hiding it with that being said i hear amy acton and
01:51:42.380 unless she sounds like this all the time she has a problem um because you don't show i could say
01:51:50.740 oh well it was a speech and it was a party and it was the celebration and she wanted to and she got
01:51:55.560 up you know but if you're giving speeches and you are sounding like this alcohol is in control of
01:52:02.040 your life i want to play this and i want to get your opinion is this is this who she is or is
01:52:08.220 this an alcohol problem sought 77 please hi everybody happy labor day oh good to see everyone
01:52:18.820 it is so good to see you all here today it's a little warm thank you it's a little hot this is
01:52:27.680 a movement of everyday people who are gonna tell mr ramaswamy in no uncertain terms we are telling
01:52:36.400 this once and for all. You cannot buy this state. You cannot buy Ohio. You can't buy us. You can't buy us. You can't buy us. You can't buy us in Ohio. That is the end of this.
01:52:57.860 I see friends out here in the audience, people I'm meeting for the first time.
01:53:02.400 But we have gone to every corner of the state.
01:53:05.920 Not in a big jeep flying over like Ohio's a flyer.
01:53:10.320 I mean, in a big jet.
01:53:13.080 He's flying in a jeep.
01:53:15.080 He's flying in a corporate jet.
01:53:17.180 We are going to tell Mr. Ramaswamy in no uncertain terms.
01:53:21.040 He can't buy a lot.
01:53:21.880 You.
01:53:25.740 Okay, stop.
01:53:27.860 Thoughts?
01:53:28.880 Sounded a lot like a lot of Buckeye fans
01:53:31.080 sounded in the fourth quarter last week.
01:53:32.880 Wondering why they weren't throwing the ball
01:53:33.760 to Jeremiah Smith after nine pops.
01:53:36.420 Sounded a little like Kamala did 0.99
01:53:38.460 in a few of her speeches. 0.99
01:53:39.960 To be fair to Miss Acton, 0.98
01:53:41.280 who I know is a big proponent 1.00
01:53:42.540 of the toxic genetic serums
01:53:44.780 known as the COVID jabs. 0.97
01:53:46.520 I know people who sound like that
01:53:48.600 after they've taken seven or eight boosters
01:53:50.260 of those two, you know?
01:53:51.340 So I don't think we can rule out
01:53:53.040 vaccine injury either.
01:53:54.420 I don't mean to.
01:53:55.180 I really don't mean to say she is.
01:53:57.240 this may just be who she is i don't know but it doesn't sound good it doesn't sound good
01:54:04.460 do we have have you ever heard her not sound like that no and that that's why i'm wondering
01:54:09.320 steve why is this so close independents uh don't like trump for and they don't typically like the
01:54:17.220 party in power in midterm elections that's what usually causes the swings that we've seen
01:54:21.400 historically um but um and i also think that vivek has not run a very inspiring campaign for
01:54:27.140 a guy that i thought was one of the best big maybe the best big idea communicator during the
01:54:32.100 last presidential primary let me let me throw the same question you i asked about ken paxton to glenn
01:54:36.340 what's the what's the big vivek idea for the state of ohio which one's your favorite one
01:54:40.520 yeah you know here's here's a here's a tried and truism and maybe um because i know i gotta go so
01:54:49.520 let me leave your audience with this all right whenever elections are about personalities
01:54:53.260 democrats always win and whenever they're about issues we win that is true my whole life doesn't
01:54:59.700 matter the environment doesn't matter the price of gas doesn't matter anything else if the defining
01:55:04.000 thing about an election was a personality we lose and if the defining thing about an election was
01:55:09.400 an issue we win so that's the thing that our people respond to issues their people respond
01:55:15.780 to personalities and right now that you were again we're talking more about her and her personality
01:55:20.860 and not even what she stands for what she wants to do for the state of oh for the state of ohio
01:55:25.260 so we're even even our criticism of her is on her terms as a democrat and move a vague needs 0.98
01:55:30.740 should have been spending the last six months arguing is issues what issues what issues are
01:55:35.320 we going to use to take the state of ohio and improve it all the more he's absolutely brilliant
01:55:39.460 he could have done that but anyway steve we'll see you tonight thank you guys thank you very much
01:55:43.300 okay so i just want to tell you my overall uh look at this get your ass to the polls i'm sorry
01:55:50.640 did i say that if you haven't voted yet get to the polls it is going to be close in texas it is
01:56:00.160 we believe it's within one point that's all margin of error stuff uh it could go either way
01:56:08.020 You cannot lose Texas.
01:56:11.800 But I want you to know that I am and I woke up this morning feeling this way, but I didn't want to say it because I don't want it to sound defeatist because I don't mean it this way.
01:56:22.900 I really do mean go out and vote after I can rest and know that I did everything I possibly could.
01:56:30.940 And I went out and voted.
01:56:33.160 And so whatever it is, it is.
01:56:35.460 i i i worry about other people because i hear people say you know well god will take care of
01:56:41.700 it no god won't take care of it unless you're doing your part
01:56:45.700 and so i'm taking this stance today you know they did a study rutledge did a study in 2014
01:56:54.640 they found the equation for happiness happiness equals what you expect minus what you got
01:57:02.380 I watered it down just a little bit
01:57:04.440 but that's basically what it says
01:57:05.700 if you expect $50
01:57:07.800 and you get $5
01:57:09.440 we can basically predict you're less happy
01:57:12.600 somebody used to always tell me
01:57:14.200 when I was performing and I was going in
01:57:16.320 to tell somebody what I was going to do
01:57:18.000 they always said do not promise a Rolls Royce
01:57:20.280 promise a Volkswagen 0.98
01:57:21.320 the best damn Volkswagen they've ever had 0.95
01:57:23.840 because if a Volkswagen 0.98
01:57:25.380 you get a Volkswagen and it drives
01:57:27.260 you know poorly
01:57:29.340 you're kind of like well it's a Volkswagen
01:57:31.000 And if it drives great and it just holds together, you're like, it's a great car.
01:57:35.540 You buy a Rolls Royce and it has any problems whatsoever, you're pissed off.
01:57:39.940 So if you expect nothing and you get $5, you're grateful.
01:57:46.540 You're expecting $50 and you get $5, you're disappointed.
01:57:50.580 In reality, what we expect is often what we think we deserve.
01:57:55.620 and when we don't get it at best we're a little sad at worst we begin the villain arc that ends
01:58:05.700 with us joining the dsa because we're so disillusioned the rallying cry of the dsa is what
01:58:11.540 we deserve it they have it take it they stole it from us we deserve it more money more security
01:58:19.580 more health care more more more more more that never ends and it sounds like a great pitch
01:58:25.480 Because who doesn't want more?
01:58:27.020 But the problem is, is that they are setting people up to be unhappy by telling them to expect more because they deserve it.
01:58:34.280 Look at France.
01:58:35.460 France is in peril.
01:58:38.920 They cannot cut their budget because everyone is promising them still more because you deserve it.
01:58:47.580 The problem is, my mother used to always tell me, life is not always fair.
01:58:52.560 You don't get what you deserve.
01:58:54.440 Thank God, because honestly, most of us deserve time in hell. 1.00
01:58:59.560 Or at least a heavenly ass-kicking, quite frankly. 0.99
01:59:02.840 I know I do. 0.99
01:59:07.580 Everything that doesn't suck is a gift that we didn't earn.
01:59:14.620 Besides, thinking that you deserve a better life doesn't get you one.
01:59:19.240 In fact, all it does is make you less happy about the life that you do have.
01:59:23.880 so what am i telling you about the election tonight look i'm not saying we shouldn't work
01:59:29.920 to make things better or that you know that we should give up and be pessimist and it'll make
01:59:34.560 us happy or make it make us happier it won't we should hope and work for more but we should work
01:59:42.400 for more more than we hope for more and we should expect less i said earlier today i'm going in with
01:59:51.580 really low expectations. I'm going in with the CNN. They've taken 11 Senate seats because
01:59:58.780 everything else is going to be gravy. Accepting the reality that life is hard is the key to being
02:00:07.660 happy. You know, my kids, my older kids, they saw me struggle. They know. My younger kids,
02:00:16.420 they never saw me struggle they saw they saw the success that took 35 years to build
02:00:24.180 and so they they have this thought that it's easier than it is it's not it's not there are
02:00:31.980 decades of hard work to be successful and knowing that is the key to being happy if we wake up every
02:00:40.940 day and we expect everything to work out for us, then the day that one disappointment happens and
02:00:48.320 then another disappointment is a day of one disappointment after another. But if we wake up
02:00:53.540 every day and think, I can do everything I can today to make things better, but I don't expect
02:00:57.920 it to all work out. Studies show us we are happier no matter what happens to us.
02:01:06.960 That's how I am approaching the midterms, and that's how I think we need to start approaching
02:01:10.520 our lives. I'm going to do everything that I can, and I hope I don't get what I deserve.
02:01:22.780 I'm going to be like Moses, schlepping up the top of the mountain and meeting God. I'm not going to
02:01:28.000 be the one sitting down at the bottom of the mountain going, hey, God, I don't want to walk
02:01:32.960 all the way up there. Why don't I just bring him down here to me? Why do I have to do all the extra
02:01:39.920 hiking because he's requiring you we have to get to the edge ourself we have to get to that top
02:01:50.160 rung where we are like i can't make it one more step and that's where god meets us and pushes us
02:01:55.180 up or he doesn't that's up to him what's up to me is getting my butt up to the top of whatever
02:02:02.620 mountain I have today. And when I do get up there, I can enjoy the view knowing that the
02:02:12.160 rest isn't up to me. I can enjoy the view. I'm grateful because I worked so hard to get there
02:02:19.380 and I know I had pushes here and there that helped me and got me to a place I didn't deserve.
02:02:24.740 I didn't do it all myself. Gratitude.
02:02:32.620 You can get up there and go, look at me, and then God can blow you away, and that would be wonderful, or he won't, because he has other better plans.
02:02:44.000 If things go poorly tonight, I'm telling you, it will work out to our advantage, one way or another, as long as we're on the side of truth.
02:02:51.200 I'm not talking about advantage politically.
02:02:53.380 It's on the side of truth.
02:02:56.840 But if we win today, don't think we deserve it, because we don't.
02:03:00.480 We don't.
02:03:02.400 Every good thing is a gift to us.
02:03:05.860 And I'm going to try really hard to remember that as the results come in.
02:03:10.660 I'm going to try to count my blessings and not my problems tonight.
02:03:16.720 I'm not sure how good I'm going to be at that.
02:03:21.020 But I'm going to try really hard.
02:03:24.740 So the point?
02:03:26.400 Let it go.
02:03:27.820 Do all you can and then let it go.
02:03:30.320 It's not up to you.
02:03:31.120 I can't change America. You can't change America. I can only change myself and I can get my ass in the car and vote if I haven't voted yet. Now I have. So why am I saying it? I might be saying it to you. And if you voted, you might want to say that to somebody else in your life. Can I take you to the polls? Go and vote.
