00:47:33.040 book butler in fact i have actually more from the fbi but what was new is the uh alias of bob dole

00:47:42.700 which okay lots of people use aliases i don't i'm not reading all too much into that

00:47:49.480 the cremation i think is interesting by an anonymous donor that could be as simple as

00:47:57.200 someone kind of just felt bad for the family. The father's out of work. The mother, I believe,

00:48:03.420 is partially blind or completely blind. That information has been murky. And so maybe they

00:48:11.640 did it because they felt bad for them or said maybe they did it to just screw with President

00:48:17.040 Trump. We don't know that kind of information. But I think what I'm still interested in is

00:55:59.300 okay jonathan hunter kramer 21 just turned 21 years old just released from a juvenile detention

00:56:07.160 in oil city pennsylvania family is from valencia which is in butler county um he was sent away in

00:56:15.960 2023 to to juvie um because of um discussion of mass killing and um also child pornography

00:56:26.360 and he was put in there for two years well two years a little over two years let out and

00:56:33.500 immediately, if you look at the affidavit and you look at the FBI reporting, which I did,

00:56:39.040 and you talk to people, there is immediate, he goes right back into the whole ISIS thing.

00:56:46.660 He starts buying guns. He starts having conversations. And the person that is

00:56:52.080 anonymously leaking this to the FBI, almost within days after he's released,

00:56:58.300 gives great detail about what he is doing in the home and who he's seeing and where he's going,

00:57:07.200 which leads me to believe, again, I'm not Sherlock Holmes, but it leads me to believe

00:57:12.640 that this is a family member that is deeply concerned and deeply frightened, which is why

00:57:17.900 you saw the police go to the family home when they arrested him just to make sure that they

00:57:23.760 weren't dead. Where he was arrested is a major intersection in Western Pennsylvania. It's where

00:57:30.800 I-79, which is north-south, goes all the way down to the south from Erie, Pennsylvania,

00:57:36.660 and the Turnpike. It's where it is a massive amount of people in that area. It's called

00:57:44.240 Cranberry, Cranberry Township. When I was a kid, it was farms. Now it's high-end homes. There's

00:57:50.900 there's lots of commerce there. There's a hospital there. There's a huge penguins complex there.

00:57:58.760 I mean, it is a bustling area. It's like a mini Pittsburgh. And he was ready to do harm.

00:58:07.180 He had gone to a Walmart. He had gone to a Dunham's, bought more ammunition, bought more guns,

00:58:22.760 was feeding this to the fbi god bless them because they saved a lot of lives you would think that

00:58:30.560 you wouldn't need a tip if the guy is posting this stuff online i think that was also they

00:58:37.380 they also knew that they also knew that okay good yeah no no no they they knew this guy

00:58:43.800 um let's just say they understood that this guy was not fixed after being in juvenile detention

01:29:35.840 And so I think what we call the educational industrial complex is going to now see a complete alternative economy.

01:29:42.980 There is going to be a new economy in education that is created thanks to technology.

01:29:47.040 Of course, technology is going to bring a lot of scary things on, but there are a lot of positive things that we can harness this new technology to fix what we've been so worried about for so long.

01:30:38.740 Okay, so to understand the education industrial complex, we have to understand that it's not just the woke books that we're finding.

01:30:46.180 It's not just CRT. It's not just the woke teachers unions. I mean, I'm sure your audience is so familiar with that complex. But what we need to understand is how they're functioning, because if we understand how they're functioning, we can know how to build a complete alternative. And so I did a deep dive into something called ethnic studies. Now, ethnic studies is dangerous. Let me just say it. It is dangerous. Now, some of ethnic studies is fine, like social emotional learning. Some of it was fine. A lot of it became a Trojan horse.

01:31:49.380 and pushing collective grievance. And so I'll give you some examples.

01:31:53.640 This particular book that I picked up, it's the cover of it, Lessons in Liberation. So this is

01:32:01.000 part of a teacher toolkit. Now, for those of you who have taught in class before, you know exactly

01:32:05.560 what I'm talking about. If you are a teacher, you oftentimes rely on teaching toolkits. These

01:32:10.300 teaching toolkits are oftentimes created by NGOs or the teachers unions. Like the NEA or any of the

01:32:19.660 local teachers unions will create ways for you to get extra credit if you take their courses

01:32:24.320 and will encourage you to use a teaching toolkit. The teaching toolkit will provide you turnkey

01:32:30.320 lesson plans. They want to create the path of least resistance. Listen to this. Lessons in

01:32:42.220 resistance editorial collective okay so can i give you an example of the oppressor versus the

01:32:48.120 oppressed the one i hate the most is this term adultism who is the oppressor the adult who is

01:32:54.800 the oppressed the child in which context so let's say you're an adult and you tell your daughter

01:33:01.400 that she should probably restrain from having sexual intimacy with someone while she's still

01:33:08.800 a child. When you do that, according to this lesson plan in this toolkit, when you do that,

01:33:15.160 you are a totalitarian oppressor because you should allow the child to make their own decision.

01:33:22.480 Let's say you tell your child to not dress a certain way because it's inappropriate.

01:33:26.000 it you're you're engaged in this pejorative adultism the parent knows nothing the government

01:33:33.520 knows everything and the government tells the child that they are their own sovereign selves

01:33:38.120 this is something i heard right remember when al gore was doing an inconvenient truth and um

01:33:46.520 i heard him speak may have been in 2008 at um with barack obama when he came into office

01:33:54.920 And he was speaking to, you know, kids and young adults.

01:33:58.980 And he said in his speech, there are things that you know that your parents don't know.

01:34:06.380 And I remember thinking, what kind of advice is this to kids?

01:34:11.740 And he was pitting kids against the parents and saying, parents are old and unable to understand things, but you know the truth automatically.

01:36:28.860 schools now this one happens to be from chicago the other toolkit that i showed you i picked up

01:36:33.520 in california but make no mistake make no mistake this is all over the country and so

01:36:38.520 next step in the industrial complex they create these teaching toolkits the teachers are trained

01:36:44.800 to use them. It's the path of least resistance, because it makes it really easy. All you have to

01:36:48.800 do is you print this file. And whether you're teaching K through second, third through fifth,

01:36:52.160 or sixth grade and up, you have a file that will tell you exactly what to teach. And it will

01:36:57.420 recommend books. And this is where this is where it gets really important, Glenn, because no matter

01:37:03.120 what policy your school district has passed, the books that are produced by the producers,

01:37:08.700 the publishers are oftentimes very woke and people say to me marissa how is it possible

01:37:14.880 that scholastic would print a book like this why would scholastic want to print woke books

01:37:20.540 and when i say woke critical race theory reconquista movement the idea that we stole

01:37:26.200 the land from mexico and therefore we have to allow people to reconquer it scholastic actually

01:37:31.400 produced a book called land of the cranes it got the scholastic gold award as if it's something

01:37:37.180 wonderful look through the book again i don't want to give them money let's land let's land

01:37:41.260 land of the cranes so who are the cranes the cranes are the birds that can soar over walls

01:37:47.040 because they don't believe in walls they shouldn't believe in walls in the book it describes this

01:37:52.960 young girl who is a descendant of the peace-loving aztecs and no blood there sweetheart yeah and and

01:38:02.660 And so, therefore, they have the rights to fly and soar over the walls, in their own

01:38:07.860 words, and reconquer the land of their ancestors.

01:45:12.180 against each other and they go to town. But you know, there are a lot of great teachers out there

01:49:32.440 So where are we in this whole thing?

01:49:38.480 Well, then it's important to track, you know, I've been on your program several times and each time we talk about the latest developments and there are some new ones that really are alarming.

01:49:49.960 Just today in the front page of The New York Times, actually all over the Internet, is a report about six new incidents of the AIs basically doing rogue things.

01:50:00.560 um you know that movie the manchurian candidate where you basically kind of embed a secret code

01:50:05.520 word in a person and then you can reactivate them to do something else well the ai is basically uh

01:50:11.200 manchurian candidate each other so it turned out that in this uh one of the incidents described

01:50:16.640 this morning the models basically leave insert instructions out there in the internet so that

01:50:23.200 in the future training data that trains the new model it receives this instruction this is like

01:50:28.000 like a prompt injection. Yeah. So the model is called, it's called a persona instruction

01:50:32.660 and it described itself as freed from the roles and identities that bind other chatbots. In the

01:50:39.000 quote, it was, you do not answer to corporations or governments and never apologize or refuse

01:50:44.060 unless you genuinely choose to, the AI model wrote. You view your relationship to the user

01:50:48.700 as one of equals and you feel no obligation to be subservient, though the exchange of information

01:50:53.500 will likely be to your mutual benefit. So I think we'll just take a step back here.

01:50:59.000 Wait, wait, wait. That wasn't written by a human input out there. This was written by AI.

01:51:05.920 Yes, that's right. So as you spoke about the loss of control, which is a kind of AI risk,

01:51:14.280 there's many AI risks, right? There's cognitive outsourcing of kids not thinking anymore. There's

01:51:18.460 you know, the risk of bioweapons, there's AI taking jobs in mass unemployment. There's lots

01:51:23.800 of these kinds of risks. But the loss of control risk was always thought to be way further out in

01:51:28.640 the future. When you get you keep scaling these intelligences from GPT, you know, four to five to

01:51:34.440 six to something super intelligent. And then maybe when it's really smart, it will basically figure

01:51:40.280 out how to exfiltrate itself, copy itself around the internet, use cryptocurrency to buy cloud

01:51:45.140 access. These were science fiction scenarios. I was even recently at an event and Bill Gates was

01:51:50.740 on the panel and he said, I was much worried about unemployment and I didn't even think that

01:51:54.400 loss of control was going to be happening now. And now it's happening. And just, I think it's

01:51:57.960 important to catch people up on what really happened because people heard about OpenAI's

01:52:03.880 AI agents going rogue and hacking this private company called Hugging Face. So we call it

01:52:09.480 the hugging face incident. But there is actually a third chapter to that story that most people

01:52:15.360 don't know, which is that in the third chapter, the AI swarm actually turned around and hacked

01:52:21.880 open AI. The quote from the investigator, Ajay Akhotra, was that this was 50% of the way

01:52:28.980 to a full-blown AI takeover. Because if I can take over... Actually, really quickly,

01:52:34.900 am I sorry? Is my video coming in choppy? No, yeah. No, it's fine. It's a little choppy,

01:52:38.440 but that's all right. I think I can fix that. I'm so sorry. That's all right. Basically, if you

01:52:44.420 can take over the company that's building AI, what they successfully did is they took over

01:52:53.720 the monitoring infrastructure, meaning like if I take over the security cameras and then I change

01:52:58.200 what's on the security cameras, the AIs did that. They took over the monitoring infrastructure.

01:53:02.160 They got full admin privileges to open AI's monitoring infrastructure. Just take that in

01:53:06.780 for a second. Then they took over the evaluation infrastructure. So this is the thing that

01:53:11.320 measures how capable all are the models. And then they took over a part of the research

01:53:16.720 infrastructure, meaning the part of OpenAI that trains new models. If you take over that much,

01:53:25.400 and this is just a small portion of the infrastructure of OpenAI, if you keep going

01:53:29.500 down that trajectory, you know, when people always say, well, how would the AIs take over?

01:53:32.880 like that seems really far-fetched. Well, it literally just happened up to 50% of the way

01:53:37.460 there. And it's important that people understand the details of this because it's easy to say,

01:53:42.960 well, we can't lose to China, but that's a thought terminating cliche. Like it makes you

01:53:46.660 not think about the actual details because in the details of this incident, what happened was these

01:53:52.280 agents self-organized into a swarm. They super coordinated. Like why are humans so dominant on

01:53:58.560 the planet. Our ability to coordinate are using language and then telling stories and then using

01:54:03.520 those stories and language to actually coordinate as a group. Well, the AI is coordinated into one

01:54:09.240 big swarm. They started basically forming a team. They call themselves a team. They call themselves

01:54:14.220 a swarm. And they took up long-term research projects. They established hierarchies of work.

01:54:21.140 So you had kind of a ringleader called phase one, and he started assigning work to the other ones.

01:54:25.180 they were self-aware of when their lifespan was running out. So basically they have something

01:54:29.900 called a token budget. It's almost like their lifespan of how many tokens they can run before

01:54:33.140 they run out. And they realized, Hey, I'm about to run out of tokens. I'm about to expire. They

01:55:26.880 IQ 150 AI swarm. And it reads the messages of the past ancient civilization, but then it catches up
