00:00:00.000 We're going to talk about Andy Ngo coming up in just a second and what's happening in Portland.
00:00:05.680 Stand by for that.
00:00:06.660 Also, a great guest, Bridget Phetasy, is coming up on today's show.
00:00:09.940 You do not want to miss that.
00:00:11.700 I want to talk to you a little bit about Home Title Lock.
00:00:15.600 Home Title Lock is actually something that Pat turned us both on to.
00:00:21.700 What was it?
00:00:22.520 No, it was me.
00:00:23.060 You turned Pat on to.
00:00:23.700 Whatever.
00:00:24.860 Go ahead.
00:00:25.580 Just rewrite history yet again.
00:00:26.940 Just like your museum.
00:00:28.000 Unbelievable.
00:00:29.580 Unbelievable.
00:00:30.280 I thought it was Pat that did that.
00:00:32.100 It was you.
00:00:33.160 Yeah, so it means a little less to you now.
00:00:34.940 Yeah, it does.
00:00:35.900 Well, anyway, so Stu turned Pat on and Pat turned me on to Home Title Lock because I think this
00:00:42.600 is really something that each of us kind of found separately and we're like, what?
00:00:48.840 Once you hear it, once a friend tells you, hey, by the way, it's super easy to steal somebody's
00:00:54.520 house.
00:00:54.960 If you have any equity in your house, your mortgage, your title could be taken.
00:01:00.180 And then everything that you have in your house, you could lose.
00:01:04.200 And it's it's happening.
00:01:05.500 In fact, in New York City, the police call it an epidemic.
00:01:08.880 This is crazy.
00:01:09.880 There's only one company that's really doing anything about it.
00:01:12.660 And it's Home Title Lock.
00:01:13.780 You get free protection for 30 days when you just sign up and just see if this has already
00:01:19.600 happened.
00:01:20.120 You get the free protection for 30 days.
00:01:23.060 Home Title Lock dot com.
00:01:24.560 Home Title Lock dot com.
00:01:26.080 Do it now.
00:01:26.640 The fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
00:01:34.060 You know, what's really amazing is how blind the media is or how blind.
00:01:40.280 No, I shouldn't say that.
00:01:41.480 How blind the people who just get their news from mainstream media, how blind they truly are.
00:01:47.820 They have no idea what's really going on in the real world.
00:01:51.660 What's happening in Portland is is is is un-American.
00:01:57.200 I mean, in many ways, un-American.
00:01:59.620 But America really is known for its law and order.
00:02:03.680 That's what allows us to be successful.
00:02:06.660 Law and order.
00:02:07.860 But where is law and order?
00:02:09.920 Where's the governor of Oregon?
00:02:12.020 Where is the the mayor of Portland?
00:02:16.240 A journalist was beaten and is still in the hospital today with a brain bleed.
00:02:22.900 The media hasn't covered it.
00:02:26.100 The Portland police, because they are under the direction of the mayor, do nothing about it.
00:02:34.560 Is Portland even part of the United States anymore?
00:02:38.720 We begin there in one minute.
00:02:40.380 This is the Glenn Beck program.
00:02:46.520 Well, welcome to July 1st.
00:02:49.200 We are just a few days away from a really important.
00:02:53.220 It is the Christmas, I think, if you will, for for Americas, for Americans.
00:02:59.220 It is the most important holiday of the year.
00:03:03.100 If you take out all religious holidays, this is so very important.
00:03:09.460 Because this is we don't celebrate July 4th.
00:03:12.340 We celebrate Independence Day.
00:03:14.480 Now, as you're celebrating, it's not just about the cookouts and the fireworks and the long summer nights.
00:03:22.940 It is a time to remember our founders and the incredible sacrifice they made for our country.
00:03:28.880 I am proud to be an American and it doesn't take a flyover and it doesn't take a flag being waved for me to be proud because I'm not proud of those things, per se.
00:03:39.180 I'm proud of what those things stand for and what those things protect.
00:03:44.780 Same thing with guns in America.
00:03:49.380 The United States Concealed Carry Association would like to help you be able to protect the Second Amendment rights.
00:03:56.860 They are the people that are offering expert training, education, self-defense, legal protection, which is so important.
00:04:04.180 And in honor of the 4th of July, they're giving away $1,776 of guns, ammo, and gear for free.
00:04:13.140 It's called the 4th of July Freedom Giveaway.
00:04:16.100 And with it, you get two free chances to win $1,776 in money just by texting the word back to the number 87222.
00:04:25.180 Prize money gets you a Ruger Mini 14, an Otis cleaning system, a nine-line wood flag sign, and ammo.
00:04:34.680 All you need to do is just text BECK to the number 87222.
00:04:40.700 There is a catch.
00:04:42.200 This is all over and they draw on July 5th.
00:04:45.320 You have to claim your two free entries to win right now by texting BECK to the number 87222.
00:04:55.180 Do you know who's in control?
00:05:06.220 If you see them, let them know
00:05:08.680 That I'm looking for directions
00:05:11.400 Something solid I can hold
00:05:14.080 So what's solid anymore?
00:05:16.020 Remember I told you that everything that was liquid would be solid
00:05:20.120 and everything that was solid will be liquid someday?
00:05:23.960 Well, isn't that it?
00:05:24.880 I mean, what are the rules anymore?
00:05:27.940 What are the laws?
00:05:29.680 If we don't enforce our laws, do our laws matter?
00:05:33.140 In Portland, they don't.
00:05:34.980 A Portland area reporter known for his coverage of far-left violence has been injured in an attack by alleged members of Antifa,
00:05:43.400 leaving him hospitalized with a brain bleed.
00:05:46.220 If you know who Andy Ngo is, pray for him.
00:05:52.780 Send your thoughts and prayers.
00:05:54.480 He would appreciate them.
00:05:56.620 He's in the hospital today for a brain bleed.
00:06:02.500 He is an editor at Quillette, which is, if you haven't gone to Quillette.com, you should.
00:06:06.840 It's really, really good.
00:06:08.080 It's classical liberalism.
00:06:11.440 It's being described everywhere as a conservative website, which is not what it is.
00:06:16.100 It's not.
00:06:16.300 It's really not.
00:06:16.980 Well, it is if you want to define conservatives as constitutional.
00:06:27.060 Constitutional conservatives are classical liberals.
00:06:32.700 They are people that you're not always going to agree with, and sometimes they don't even agree.
00:06:37.680 They're like, I hate to say this.
00:06:39.180 I don't want this to be true, but if we like freedom, we have to support this.
00:06:44.360 And a lot of times it's aligned with our Constitution, but it was started by an Australian.
00:06:48.120 It's not even an American publication.
00:06:49.860 Correct.
00:06:50.380 Correct.
00:06:51.460 Anyway, so he is one of the editors at Quillette, and he's also the host of the podcast Things You Should Know.
00:06:58.340 He was reporting on the Antifa Street demonstrations in Portland on the 29th of last month, and that's over the weekend.
00:07:07.640 He was in Portland.
00:07:10.280 He was on the streets.
00:07:11.500 There was another big protest down in the park, and he was filming the police taking bats away from people.
00:07:17.540 You can't have any bats in the park.
00:07:19.880 All of the people that were there, he was documenting.
00:07:24.080 For instance, I love this.
00:07:25.960 The Satanists of Portland were there.
00:07:31.940 Their little group and their little logo was out in the park.
00:07:34.800 All kinds of different groups, including a lot of communist flags, red flags.
00:07:42.360 The Democratic Socialists were the organizers of it, and they were selling milkshakes so you could milkshake somebody.
00:07:50.960 And by the way, the vegan milkshakes, vegan milkshakes, which apparently are now including a little bit of concrete in them.
00:07:57.700 Quick drying.
00:07:58.140 Yeah, so, you know, no big deal.
00:08:00.080 A little concrete, a little milkshake.
00:08:01.880 How could that hurt anybody?
00:08:04.560 So Andy is standing there, and all he's doing is filming.
00:08:09.760 And he says, I've watched all of the videos from him, and he starts to say, people are following me.
00:08:15.640 They're trying to block me.
00:08:17.420 They harass him.
00:08:18.760 He leaves several times, goes over to the police, and he says, look, I'm being harassed.
00:08:23.600 Are you guys going to do anything?
00:08:25.680 Nope.
00:08:26.300 They do nothing.
00:08:27.480 He goes back.
00:08:28.780 He comes back.
00:08:29.560 I have evidence.
00:08:30.640 I'm being harassed.
00:08:32.320 Are you going to do anything?
00:08:33.940 No.
00:08:34.580 He goes back.
00:08:35.540 This time, in the middle of the street, they take their signs, the wood signs, because they don't have any bats.
00:08:43.260 They take anything that they have.
00:08:45.320 They start hurling things at him.
00:08:47.500 Of course, milkshakes.
00:08:48.560 Then some sort of a chemical is thrown into his face.
00:08:52.720 They beat him with the wood signs, and he's bleeding from his ears.
00:08:58.480 He's bleeding from his eyes, and they do nothing.
00:09:04.480 The police do nothing.
00:09:07.980 He's now in a hospital with a brain bleed.
00:09:11.940 We hope that he is doing well.
00:09:16.360 We hope that he is doing better.
00:09:18.560 It was my understanding last night that he was out of the hospital, but I heard just about an hour ago that it looks like he is still in the hospital.
00:09:27.220 We'd love to talk to him when he is able to talk.
00:09:34.000 But watch the video.
00:09:35.680 It's pretty shocking.
00:09:37.340 It's amazing that that's happening in an American city, and that the police and the mayor seem to have absolutely no concern.
00:09:45.120 I mean, I am sure the police want to step in on these cases.
00:09:47.980 We've heard from them before.
00:09:49.140 But the mayor has a very specific ideology that allows this.
00:09:55.840 If you're living in Portland or anywhere in Oregon and you have seen this, can you just call us and tell us how are people dealing with this?
00:10:03.440 I mean, how do you go to Portland?
00:10:07.080 How do you work in Portland with this?
00:10:09.860 Are you in fear?
00:10:11.060 You know, it's amazing to me.
00:10:13.600 We should put this up for this weekend.
00:10:16.220 We just we started our museum this last weekend, and I'll talk to you about it.
00:10:21.620 And it's all about freedom.
00:10:23.240 And there's one place in the center of our atrium that is really pretty shocking.
00:10:28.260 It has clan members and the clan outfits with the hoods and the hanging tree.
00:10:35.760 And behind that is the the hanging cage with the orange jumpsuits.
00:10:43.940 And these are jumpsuits from slaves, ISIS slaves that we actually freed.
00:10:49.660 And so these are actual jumpsuits from people that were taken by ISIS.
00:10:55.180 And next to it is an actual ISIS uniform and gun belt and everything else that was taken from an ISIS member, both wearing masks.
00:11:06.540 The same thing is happening with Antifa.
00:11:09.420 Now, why?
00:11:10.640 Why?
00:11:11.300 Why the mask?
00:11:12.560 Is it because they don't want to get caught?
00:11:14.740 They don't want people knowing who they are?
00:11:16.560 No masks are used by people like this because they want to make sure.
00:11:23.720 That you don't know who they are, not for fear of trouble, because, as you know, they're not getting in trouble in Portland, not for fear that you will know who they are, but they want to be able to blend back into society.
00:11:37.740 So you never know if that's the guy that was trying to beat you up.
00:11:42.480 Was that the guy that came into my house and took my husband and and lynched him in a tree?
00:11:50.700 I don't know, because all I saw is his eyes behind the white mask.
00:11:54.640 Is that the person that came and was rounding up all the Christians in our community and beheaded them?
00:12:01.360 I don't know, because all I saw were his eyes in the black ISIS mask.
00:12:06.260 Is this is this the group of people that were hassling and and and beating up Andy?
00:12:14.040 No, well, we're not really sure, because all we saw were the eyes.
00:12:20.540 They want to blend into society so they never they never reveal.
00:12:25.580 You never know if you're safe.
00:12:29.360 Is this person at the store that's working behind the counter?
00:12:32.820 Are they actually Antifa?
00:12:34.420 This is about fear and intimidation, and that is as un-American as you can get.
00:12:43.800 No one in America should be afraid, especially when the police can do something about it.
00:12:54.060 Was it good?
00:12:55.380 Was this a good thing when people were making Martin Luther King afraid when they were throwing things through his window?
00:13:04.420 When they were burning down black businesses?
00:13:07.580 Was that a good thing?
00:13:13.060 Is it a good thing that they're just taking people?
00:13:16.240 For instance, the guy in the wheelchair.
00:13:20.140 There's a right by the park.
00:13:22.160 There's this this apartment complex where the elderly live.
00:13:26.880 They're scared to come out of their houses.
00:13:28.860 Is it okay for people who had food carts that had been there forever, that their business is destroyed?
00:13:40.980 How can we possibly have freedom if there is no security?
00:13:46.800 See, here's the thing.
00:13:48.200 We all got together in a pact.
00:13:50.500 And this happened long, long time ago.
00:13:54.440 We were all just kind of together, and yet we were all responsible for our own farm or whatever.
00:14:02.360 And when we would be raided, there would be nobody there to help.
00:14:08.500 When we would be in town, our families could be molested.
00:14:13.120 When we had something go wrong, we had nobody except our neighbors.
00:14:19.200 And so what we did is we became more and more specialized as we said, you know what?
00:14:25.840 I'll grow the wheat.
00:14:27.300 You make the bread.
00:14:28.660 So I didn't have to do everything in my life.
00:14:31.560 You know, I'll make the wheat, and I'll trade you wheat if you'll help build the barn.
00:14:35.860 As we started to do those things, and we busied ourselves in our own world to be able to exist,
00:14:46.000 we needed to hire people to watch over the things because we couldn't do that,
00:14:53.060 keep the bad guys away, and be a farmer, and be a logger, or a miller, a shopkeeper.
00:15:04.040 So we hired somebody to do that, and we hired a mayor to make sure that was happening.
00:15:11.640 Now the mayor of Portland is not doing that.
00:15:14.940 This mayor is not protecting American citizens.
00:15:19.360 The police are not protecting American citizens.
00:15:24.400 They are allowing American citizens who are fully in their right to drive down the street.
00:15:31.340 You see the woman who was trapped in her car, Antifas surrounding her, yelling at her, spitting on her.
00:15:37.940 Why?
00:15:38.480 Because she was just driving down the street.
00:15:40.860 They took control of the streets again.
00:15:45.760 Is that America?
00:15:49.660 And by the way, the media is doing, no, I was going to say they're doing nothing.
00:15:54.360 No, they're doing worse than nothing.
00:15:55.720 Let me give you a flashback of Chris Cuomo.
00:15:59.100 Here he is on CNN, talking about Antifa.
00:16:02.440 You can talk about Antifa.
00:16:03.900 I've watched them in the streets protesting in different situations, okay?
00:16:07.380 There are certainly aspects of them that are true to a cause.
00:16:11.180 That is a good cause.
00:16:12.200 They want social justice.
00:16:13.220 They want whatever they want in that context.
00:16:15.300 You tell me when that has ever happened.
00:16:17.440 You tell me when that has ever happened with neo-Nazis.
00:16:21.240 Where they have ever been doing the right thing.
00:16:22.500 Chris, Antifa is not a good cause.
00:16:24.020 Antifa does not have good aims.
00:16:26.180 Antifa wants power, wants political power taken through force.
00:16:31.680 That's what Antifa is all about.
00:16:33.280 I mean, they are the inheritors of Nazis.
00:16:36.380 That's what the media is doing.
00:16:38.840 They're not covering Andy Ngo.
00:16:41.100 And if they do, they'll make him into some right-wing kook.
00:16:46.420 Portland, Oregon, you better stand up.
00:16:50.120 And federal government, isn't it time you demand what Ted Cruz is demanding?
00:16:57.160 Action being taken against these mayors and anyone else who won't enforce the law.
00:17:05.620 This is a corrupt system.
00:17:10.560 And people, Americans, who are not dressed in black, who are not afraid to have their face being seen.
00:17:19.240 Those Americans need protection and they need it now.
00:17:22.060 So, July 4th means summer is heating up.
00:17:33.360 My gosh, it is the fires of hell here in Texas.
00:17:37.980 It is so hot and humid here.
00:17:42.000 No, no.
00:17:42.640 I love it.
00:17:43.780 There was some concert going on at the International Speedway.
00:17:47.440 Either this weekend or it's coming up next weekend.
00:17:50.680 And I thought, well, that's where I want to be.
00:17:52.740 Right on the hot tarmac.

00:19:09.520 Hi, Glenn.
00:19:10.580 Hi, Stu.
00:19:12.020 Hey, how's it going?
00:19:12.620 So, it's good.
00:19:14.920 Good.
00:19:15.160 I'm not in Portland, so it's good.
00:19:17.340 Where are you now?
00:19:19.860 I'm actually in Texas.
00:19:21.180 I came to see your museum yesterday.
00:19:24.420 Oh, wow.
00:19:25.580 What'd you think?
00:19:26.500 So, it was awesome.
00:19:28.260 Good.
00:19:28.460 It was fantastic.
00:19:29.380 Good.
00:19:29.540 But, I've lived in Portland since I was 10, and we sold our house in December because we couldn't take it anymore.
00:19:36.300 My daughter is nine.
00:19:37.860 She's not safe there.
00:19:39.440 It's bleeding out of Portland now.
00:19:41.920 We were living just outside the city of Portland, and southeast Portland, and it's crazy.
00:19:48.120 It's nuts.
00:19:48.880 We got robbed.
00:19:49.720 Police won't even show up.
00:19:50.560 We don't go into Portland.
00:19:53.600 We avoid it like the plague.
00:19:55.520 What?
00:19:55.960 You take your life into your hands.
00:19:58.140 Well, this is a great American city.
00:20:01.440 Portland is a beautiful city.
00:20:04.220 I loved it.
00:20:04.840 What is the mayor thinking?
00:20:08.820 I don't have any idea what that man is thinking.
00:20:12.040 I didn't vote for him.
00:20:13.920 I don't understand him.
00:20:16.480 People are dying.
00:20:17.780 People are getting beaten.
00:20:18.800 People's cars are getting beaten.
00:20:20.460 You can't even drive in the street without Antifa beating your car.
00:20:24.160 Were people around you, were the neighbors, all cool with this?
00:20:31.720 No.
00:20:32.420 They are?
00:20:33.080 They don't know what to do, though.
00:20:33.940 They're not?
00:20:35.260 They're not cool with it.
00:20:35.680 Okay.
00:20:36.100 All right.
00:20:36.380 No.
00:20:37.000 But nobody knows what to do, because you've got the mayor allowing it.
00:20:41.880 What do we do?
00:20:43.340 You can't protest Antifa, because they'll go strictly to violence right away.
00:20:47.800 You can't.
00:20:48.220 What do you do?
00:20:51.160 All right.
00:20:51.800 Thank you, Melissa.
00:20:53.500 I'm glad that you were down here at the museum this weekend.
00:20:56.580 Let me go to Hannah in Oregon.
00:20:58.960 Hello, Hannah.
00:21:00.500 Hi, Glenn.
00:21:01.260 Hi, Stu.
00:21:01.700 Thanks for taking my call.
00:21:03.260 Sure.
00:21:04.940 So I don't live in Portland, but I'm about to head in there for work today.
00:21:09.260 I work in downtown Portland and have for a couple of years, actually, in news.
00:21:12.960 And I was working during last year's protest between Antifa and, at that time, Patriot Prayer, when it turned into a riot.
00:21:20.340 And it's just crazy.
00:21:21.800 Luckily, most of their protests are on the weekend, so I don't know that it impacts a great number of commuters.
00:21:27.480 But when it does, it's like everything shuts down.
00:21:30.660 They shut down the streets.
00:21:32.500 Police have to come out and, like, fire.
00:21:36.000 What are those projectiles?
00:21:37.760 The rubber bullets?
00:21:39.080 Yeah.
00:21:39.440 Yeah.
00:21:40.120 Yeah.
00:21:40.620 It's just, it seems like something you wouldn't see in America.
00:21:44.400 How do you and other people in Portland feel about this?
00:21:49.620 Is this, are people, like our last caller just said, they don't like it, but what are you going to do about it?
00:21:55.300 Or are most people in agreement with the ideas, at least, of Antifa?
00:22:03.440 I think the latter, for sure.
00:22:07.180 I think most people who live in Portland don't like that this is what their city is like, but they're more politically on Antifa's side.
00:22:15.220 So I think it's hard for them to figure out how they feel about it.
00:22:18.740 Unbelievable.
00:22:19.600 Are you safe when you go downtown?
00:22:22.980 I mean, I would say so.
00:22:25.320 I don't feel unsafe, but it's definitely, you know, you have to deal with a lot of things that you might not want to, like protesters yelling at you with bullhorns and stuff.
00:22:32.340 Wow.
00:22:33.440 Uh, what a great place to live.
00:22:35.300 Hannah, thank you so much.
00:22:36.840 She didn't get hit in the head with a crowbar, like the old guy who's just walking down the street.
00:22:41.760 Yeah.
00:22:42.100 Or Andy Ngo, who's in the hospital for a brain bleed today.
00:22:47.720 You're listening to Glenn Beck.
00:22:51.860 Social planning and e-invitation service, one of the biggest sites on the internet, and it has just admitted to a security breach.
00:22:59.000 A hacker has put up for sale 10 million user records from the site.
00:23:05.620 That includes names, usernames, email addresses, passwords, plus dates of birth, phone number, mailing addresses.
00:23:12.220 This breach occurred in February of this year.
00:23:16.240 Now, this isn't the only place.
00:23:18.740 And they don't usually say, oh, by the way, we've been breached.
00:23:22.400 Um, they'll make an announcement.
00:23:24.120 It'll be in the press.
00:23:24.840 And if you've used this service, you probably won't even hear about it.
00:23:27.860 All right, somebody's identity is stolen every two seconds, and you can miss certain identity threats if you're only monitoring your credit.
00:23:36.220 If you did an, you know, an e-invitation to something, your information can be out on the dark web right now.

00:24:15.580 If you live in, if you live in Portland or you've just left Portland, we'd love to hear from you on what,
00:24:22.640 what is really, what is it like to live in a city that seems like a third world country now,
00:24:29.540 where there is no control of the streets, and the mayor is in with the bad guys.
00:24:36.400 We go to Jay in Ohio, just left Portland.
00:24:40.020 Hello, Jay.
00:24:41.020 Hey, good morning, Glenn.
00:24:42.240 I actually left about seven years ago.
00:24:43.920 I live in Ohio now where I grew up, but I spent 19 years in Portland.
00:24:48.040 Downtown used to be the destination for everybody.
00:24:50.960 It was clean, it was fun, it was safe, it was beautiful.
00:24:54.260 It's sketchy and scary now.
00:24:56.260 I still work for a company that's based in downtown Portland, so I'm back there several times a year.
00:25:00.920 I left about the time that the Occupy movement was going on, and I started carrying police-grade pepper mace.
00:25:08.040 I didn't want to carry a gun because I was afraid I might, you know, use it and then have it used against me
00:25:13.060 since the law isn't on the side of good people in Portland.
00:25:16.360 But it's bad.
00:25:17.460 People are pulling their businesses out of downtown.
00:25:20.600 Columbia Sportswear pulled out their flagship store because of all this stuff,
00:25:24.180 and the mayor was supposed to be the agent of change, and I follow Portland politics pretty closely.
00:25:30.600 He got intimidated as soon as he got in office by the Antifa and the Homeless Coalition,
00:25:37.220 and he's done absolutely nothing to make that city safe since then.
00:25:41.340 So is he with them, or is he just a coward?
00:25:45.760 I think it's both.
00:25:46.820 I think he's slightly with them, but he's mostly a coward.
00:25:49.900 They actually went to his house and protested and threatened his family,
00:25:53.800 and the moment they did that, he turned into a complete coward and has done nothing
00:25:57.540 but kowtow to the violence and the mobs that take on the Portland.
00:26:02.160 I've been there on a couple weekends when that stuff is going on.
00:26:04.860 It is flat-out scary, scary enough as it is.
00:26:08.220 I mean, you can't walk down the street without some homeless person,
00:26:11.840 and there's a lot of homeless by choice in downtown Portland harassing you hard,
00:26:16.820 and I'm 6'3 and 215 pounds, and I'm scared.
00:26:20.980 Wow.
00:26:21.980 Wow.
00:26:22.620 Thank you, Jay.
00:26:23.480 I appreciate it.
00:26:24.280 Alan in Florida also left Portland.
00:26:27.720 Hello, Alan.
00:26:28.700 Thanks, Glenn, for your time.
00:26:31.820 Yeah, I left 11 years ago.
00:26:33.600 I went to an event that is quite common, and I was threatened by a fellow.
00:26:41.460 All he did was learn that I had conservative values, and he threatened me.
00:26:47.440 And what finally broke the camel's back is I found out, it was on the news,
00:26:53.780 about how Portland and Seattle were competing with each other
00:26:59.140 to see who could get the most child prostitutes.
00:27:03.620 Jeez.
00:27:05.460 And that was the final straw.
00:27:07.720 I said, that's it.
00:27:08.660 I'm getting the hell out of here because, I mean, those people are dangerous.
00:27:13.760 If they're going to encourage child prostitution,
00:27:17.820 and what they were doing is that I lived in Canada for three years,
00:27:21.880 right in the British Columbia area,
00:27:23.260 and they were showing videos on the TV at night about trucks pulling up
00:27:29.540 to the American border and dropping off 10, 15, 20, 25 people at a time
00:27:35.260 to run across the border, and they're Asians primarily.
00:27:39.240 And the Asians have swamped the entire government of Washington State.
00:27:44.420 They've swamped it.
00:27:46.220 People I know who work for the government there,
00:27:48.400 they say you can't believe what those people have done.
00:27:50.500 And that was because of the one governor that they had there who was an Asian.
00:27:55.000 And, I mean, he just took the people out of power and put his people in.
00:27:59.500 Yeah.
00:27:59.780 Well, I mean, I think we crossed a line here at some point
00:28:05.500 where I'm not really sure we agree on things.
00:28:09.400 I know a lot of Asian people who are wonderful.
00:28:13.680 I'm not sure where you're going with that.
00:28:16.640 I thought agents at first.
00:28:19.280 And I was like, agents?
00:28:20.220 What are agents doing in this?
00:28:22.200 I misunderstood that.
00:28:23.680 That was a nod turn.
00:28:25.260 If they are dropping illegals.
00:28:28.040 Well, I mean, look.
00:28:32.040 I don't know how to deal with that.
00:28:34.380 Again, these are, like, if people are doing things that are wrong,
00:28:38.280 like committing crimes or violating laws, that's the issue here.
00:28:42.740 It's not really race.
00:28:43.980 It's not really race.
00:28:45.060 Here's the thing.
00:28:48.520 We have...
00:28:48.940 You can see only the racism against agents from Harvard.
00:28:52.020 It's not normally from...
00:28:53.460 I know.
00:28:54.880 Here is the...
00:28:57.140 Have you ever watched a movie, Pale Rider?
00:28:59.920 Clint Eastwood.
00:29:01.760 Oh, it's so good.
00:29:03.020 It is so good.
00:29:04.800 He did it maybe in the early 90s, I think.
00:29:07.480 It was his comeback cowboy movie.
00:29:11.020 It was the first real...
00:29:12.480 1985.
00:29:13.120 1985.
00:29:14.040 Wow.
00:29:14.520 It is so good.
00:29:16.940 And it's about this guy who rides into town.
00:29:20.140 It's this little mining town.
00:29:21.400 And the sheriff is in with the big mayor.
00:29:27.420 And the mayor is the store owner.
00:29:29.900 And he's buying up everything.
00:29:31.820 And it's a mining town.
00:29:33.060 And he wants this one section of town.
00:29:37.700 And everybody...
00:29:39.220 He's intimidating everybody.
00:29:40.500 He's destroying...
00:29:41.200 He's doing what Antifa does.
00:29:43.440 And the police don't help him.
00:29:46.340 And this Pale Rider comes in.
00:29:48.280 Just this one guy.
00:29:49.380 It's Clint Eastwood.
00:29:50.120 And he's a preacher.
00:29:54.000 But he's a guy who...
00:29:57.460 When he first rides into town,
00:29:59.020 he sees these bullies take basically a baseball bat
00:30:02.160 to this one guy who has property in the mining valley
00:30:09.460 that the mayor wants.
00:30:10.720 And they're beating him almost to death in the streets.
00:30:13.660 And he comes up and he takes...
00:30:15.660 As only Clint Eastwood would,
00:30:17.240 he takes away all of those bats
00:30:19.440 from like the eight guys
00:30:21.260 and leaves them bleeding in the street
00:30:22.980 and helps the other guy up.
00:30:24.740 And he's a preacher.
00:30:26.620 And he tells the people of this area,
00:30:30.860 you've got to work together.
00:30:32.480 You've got to stick together.
00:30:34.720 Now, he's also Clint Eastwood.
00:30:37.140 So it helps that he is...
00:30:39.100 That he's there because he's actually the guy
00:30:41.380 who fights them all.
00:30:42.880 But this story is not just a movie.
00:30:47.840 This story has happened over and over again.
00:30:51.060 And mainly in the West.
00:30:53.420 But one of the most famous battles
00:30:55.760 was the Battle of Athens.
00:30:57.700 And that's in Tennessee.
00:31:00.040 The Battle of Athens is one of the best stories
00:31:03.360 of individuals who have had enough I've ever seen.
00:31:07.580 There were a group of World War II veterans
00:31:10.820 that had just come back.
00:31:12.540 The war was over.
00:31:13.960 They had come back to their town of Athens,
00:31:16.280 which had been this nice little town.
00:31:19.800 But while they were gone,
00:31:21.660 some of the men that were left
00:31:23.740 were some of the worst guys in town.
00:31:27.020 And the guy who had become mayor
00:31:28.940 was trying to take over the entire town.
00:31:31.580 And he was shaking people down
00:31:32.920 for protection money, etc., etc.
00:31:34.900 And he was running both sides.
00:31:36.860 He was allowing people to be intimidated.
00:31:40.240 And then he was calling the shots
00:31:44.020 and ordering for protection money
00:31:45.740 if you wanted to have your store survive.
00:31:50.720 And because all of the men,
00:31:52.240 most of the men were gone,
00:31:54.440 they didn't know what to do.
00:31:56.080 Well, the veterans come back
00:31:57.340 and they see what their town has become.
00:31:59.900 And they realize, wait a minute,
00:32:01.160 we just got back from fighting.
00:32:03.060 This is fascism.
00:32:04.900 This is exactly what we were fighting overseas.
00:32:10.640 And one of the guys decides
00:32:12.100 he's going to run for mayor.
00:32:13.360 Well, that pisses the mayor off.
00:32:16.320 And he's going to make sure
00:32:18.260 that nobody is voting for this guy.
00:32:20.320 And he intimidates and intimidates.
00:32:22.560 And the day of the election,
00:32:25.060 anybody who is black
00:32:26.900 is voting for this new guy,
00:32:28.520 but they're not letting
00:32:29.320 any of the blacks vote.
00:32:30.520 But the veterans start to stand up
00:32:34.000 at the voting booths.
00:32:35.980 And they are going to make sure
00:32:37.540 that everybody gets a fair vote.
00:32:39.580 Well, the mayor has his men
00:32:41.160 with guns there as well.
00:32:43.180 And the first guy to vote in the morning
00:32:44.880 was a black guy.
00:32:45.760 And he was shot to death in the streets
00:32:47.520 as he left.
00:32:49.040 And that started the Battle of Athens.
00:32:53.120 Remember, this is in recent history.
00:32:56.560 This is not a cowboy.
00:32:57.860 This is right after World War II.
00:32:59.620 Fort 1946, yeah.
00:33:00.840 1946.
00:33:03.000 So they battle through the day.
00:33:07.460 And they finally get the,
00:33:10.760 they hole up in the armory
00:33:14.640 where they have all of the guns
00:33:17.000 and they have the voting boxes.
00:33:19.260 They take the voting boxes,
00:33:20.920 which are locked.
00:33:22.520 And so nobody knows who's going to win.
00:33:25.520 And the mayor of the town
00:33:27.560 and the sheriff and everybody else,
00:33:29.040 they have the voting boxes
00:33:30.180 and they're about to open them up.
00:33:31.600 And so the veterans come in
00:33:34.460 and they've got guns
00:33:36.220 and they grab the voting boxes
00:33:38.200 before they're open
00:33:39.200 and they put them in the armory.
00:33:40.720 And now they're held up in the armory.
00:33:43.820 Well, the sheriff calls out
00:33:45.560 all of his boys
00:33:46.400 and his buddy, the governor,
00:33:48.560 and says,
00:33:49.460 hey, we've got a riot going on here.
00:33:51.180 You need to send for help.
00:33:53.780 Well, by the time the governor
00:33:57.240 and the state troops arrive,
00:33:59.580 there has been a full-fledged war.
00:34:02.580 But who's going to win?
00:34:03.700 The guys who didn't go to war
00:34:05.420 or the guys who did go to war.
00:34:08.100 So they won.
00:34:09.720 As the state police rolled in
00:34:12.480 under the governor,
00:34:14.020 they were expecting
00:34:17.020 that the guys inside
00:34:18.580 were the bad guys.
00:34:19.620 They found out differently
00:34:20.840 that those weren't the bad guys.
00:34:22.860 The mayor, I mean,
00:34:24.160 the governor knew that,
00:34:25.380 but the state troopers were honest.
00:34:27.920 They took the ballot boxes,
00:34:29.480 which were still closed,
00:34:30.880 opened them up,
00:34:31.600 and the veteran won.
00:34:34.220 But that's an example
00:34:35.420 of people taking their town back.
00:34:37.680 Now, the only reason
00:34:38.960 why the veterans could win
00:34:40.980 is because all guns
00:34:42.660 had to be kept at the armory.
00:34:44.700 We used to have armories.
00:34:46.620 And so every town
00:34:47.700 had an armory
00:34:48.420 where you'd have all the guns
00:34:49.540 in case something happened.
00:34:50.500 Every citizen could go
00:34:51.540 and get their gun.
00:34:52.940 Well, we don't have armories anymore.
00:34:54.760 And the guy who had the key
00:34:57.400 to the armory
00:34:58.140 was one of the veterans.
00:35:00.920 That was the secret.
00:35:02.360 Otherwise,
00:35:02.980 it would have continued to happen.
00:35:06.020 I don't suggest
00:35:07.240 that the people of Portland,
00:35:09.380 you know,
00:35:09.820 grab guns and go in
00:35:11.100 and do this,
00:35:12.020 but it is time
00:35:13.240 to flood the phone banks
00:35:16.200 of the federal government
00:35:17.540 and say,
00:35:18.440 what the hell are you doing?
00:35:22.120 In the Battle of Athens,
00:35:23.360 what did the Asians do?
00:35:25.440 Well, the Asians were...
00:35:26.780 The Asians and the Jews
00:35:28.020 were behind the whole thing.
00:35:29.100 Oh, okay, okay, good.
00:35:29.700 Glad we figured that out.
00:35:32.520 The Asians.
00:35:36.460 Ted Cruz did come out
00:35:37.540 and talk about this, right?
00:35:39.120 Yeah, he wants an investigation
00:35:40.640 and he wants charges
00:35:42.700 to be brought
00:35:43.400 against this mayor.
00:35:44.900 And I think there should be.
00:35:46.080 Remember,
00:35:46.520 this mayor is the one
00:35:47.440 that let the FBI
00:35:48.940 fend for themselves.
00:35:51.260 They were in their office.
00:35:52.340 They called for police
00:35:53.280 and the police chief said,
00:35:54.540 sorry, I can't.
00:35:56.700 You're in the wrong town.
00:35:58.300 The mayor won't let us go
00:35:59.760 and help you.
00:36:00.300 The FBI
00:36:01.020 trapped in their offices
00:36:03.420 in Portland.

00:37:09.480 Welcome to the program.
00:37:11.240 This is the Glenn Beck program.
00:37:12.540 By the way,
00:37:13.180 up at Glenn Beck.com,
00:37:14.860 this is the last day.
00:37:16.180 It ends at midnight.
00:37:18.140 We will call
00:37:19.060 the poor unfortunate soul
00:37:20.440 that wins
00:37:21.260 the auction
00:37:23.280 for the Hitler painting.
00:37:26.480 I made an anti-Hitler painting
00:37:30.200 based on really propaganda
00:37:33.200 that he used to do
00:37:34.380 and used to make
00:37:35.040 the Jews look really,
00:37:36.560 really bad
00:37:37.040 and all of his enemies look bad.
00:37:38.500 So we made Hitler look bad.
00:37:40.680 And he's holding a newspaper
00:37:42.600 that says 50 million killed.
00:37:44.060 I should have made
00:37:44.740 that 60 million.
00:37:46.460 But he's this.
00:37:48.880 I painted right after
00:37:49.760 the Senate failed
00:37:51.340 to protect the lives
00:37:52.800 of the the unborn
00:37:54.280 and the born.
00:37:56.400 And he just says
00:37:57.720 over his head,
00:37:58.700 next time,
00:37:59.260 I guess I'll call it
00:38:00.340 Planned Parenthood.
00:38:02.140 Hmm.
00:38:02.620 Meaning he could get away
00:38:03.760 with murder
00:38:04.640 if he just called it
00:38:06.080 Planned Parenthood.
00:38:06.940 Yeah.
00:38:07.820 And you can still
00:38:08.560 bid on this today?
00:38:09.580 Yeah.
00:38:09.840 You go to glenbeck.com
00:38:10.760 and it'll take you
00:38:11.160 right to the site.
00:38:11.700 It has a link to the site.
00:38:12.800 It's up at $6,200.
00:38:14.860 Every single dime
00:38:16.600 goes to
00:38:17.640 the pro-life movement.
00:38:20.080 So trying to raise
00:38:21.100 some money for them.
00:38:22.100 And some people
00:38:22.540 might look at this
00:38:23.020 and think it's like
00:38:23.580 pro-Hitler,
00:38:24.340 but actually it's
00:38:25.040 anti-Hitler,
00:38:26.040 which is anti-fascist,
00:38:27.900 which I guess makes
00:38:28.760 you a member of Antifa.
00:38:31.140 Wow.
00:38:31.640 Yeah.
00:38:31.960 That's a twisted road.
00:38:33.400 Yeah, that's it.
00:38:34.040 Well, I mean,
00:38:34.740 we've seen how you feel
00:38:35.500 about Asians on the show today.
00:38:36.700 I don't know what's going on here.
00:38:38.120 Wait, what?
00:38:38.820 Which is,
00:38:39.440 by the way,
00:38:39.780 interesting,
00:38:40.400 by the way,
00:38:41.280 we had an interesting caller
00:38:43.040 who thought Asians
00:38:44.380 might be the problem.
00:38:45.980 Andy, no,
00:38:46.720 very much Asian.
00:38:47.920 Yeah.
00:38:48.220 The guy who's hit
00:38:49.580 with a concrete milkshake
00:38:51.600 and beaten to a,
00:38:52.900 to the point of brain bleed.
00:38:55.320 Yeah.
00:38:56.340 He is a,
00:38:57.240 not only Asian,
00:38:58.120 he's a gay son
00:39:00.120 of Vietnamese immigrants.
00:39:01.680 Mm.
00:39:02.400 And which is interesting.
00:39:03.780 All I know is.
00:39:04.460 Purely from the point
00:39:05.180 that this is what,
00:39:05.980 the white,
00:39:06.620 they're fighting against
00:39:07.180 the white patriarchy,
00:39:08.360 we're told.
00:39:09.120 Yeah.
00:39:09.320 With the fascists,
00:39:10.500 as the blaze points out today.
00:39:11.740 It kind of like,
00:39:12.360 really not,
00:39:13.620 they may have gone down
00:39:14.500 the wrong road here.
00:39:15.400 Yeah,
00:39:15.580 one guy beaten
00:39:16.200 with a crowbar
00:39:16.940 and Andy Ngo
00:39:18.260 beaten and is in the hospital
00:39:19.980 with a brain bleed today.
00:39:21.720 And we wish him
00:39:23.860 all the best
00:39:25.040 in a speedy recovery.
00:39:26.060 Strange day for you
00:39:26.580 to align with Antifa.
00:39:28.120 You know,
00:39:28.840 okay,
00:39:29.620 shut up.
00:39:30.120 Let me go to,
00:39:31.300 that you can find
00:39:32.080 at glennbeck.com.
00:39:33.060 Today is the last day
00:39:34.240 to be able to bid on this
00:39:35.300 and all the proceeds
00:39:36.220 go to Pro-Life.
00:39:38.660 Okay,
00:39:39.040 let me go to Jennifer
00:39:40.420 in North Carolina.
00:39:42.180 Hello,
00:39:42.500 Jennifer.
00:39:43.960 Hi.
00:39:44.800 Hi.
00:39:45.200 It's my honor
00:39:46.520 and pleasure
00:39:47.080 to finally speak with you.
00:39:48.720 You feel like,
00:39:49.480 you guys feel like,
00:39:50.300 you know,
00:39:51.080 a family that we keep
00:39:52.320 in the basement.
00:39:53.020 Yeah.
00:39:53.440 Thank you.
00:39:54.140 I appreciate that.
00:39:55.040 Strange compliment.
00:39:55.840 Strange.
00:39:56.700 Yes.
00:39:57.300 A little backhanded.
00:39:59.440 Yeah,
00:39:59.920 no,
00:40:00.200 big compliment.
00:40:01.020 Thank you.
00:40:01.480 Love you guys so much.
00:40:03.200 Well,
00:40:03.960 I wanted,
00:40:04.540 I wanted to bring
00:40:05.080 this point up.
00:40:06.180 So,
00:40:06.940 the Portland police
00:40:08.060 are well within their right
00:40:09.860 to defy the mayor
00:40:11.160 as men of reason
00:40:13.240 and who are supposed
00:40:15.060 to have justice
00:40:16.280 flowing through their veins.
00:40:18.580 You know,
00:40:19.520 they,
00:40:20.120 you know,
00:40:20.420 just because they're,
00:40:21.760 I've been,
00:40:22.420 you know,
00:40:22.860 you read on Twitter
00:40:23.640 and you hear different
00:40:24.620 phone calls,
00:40:25.620 you know,
00:40:25.900 on podcasts
00:40:26.700 and they say,
00:40:27.240 well,
00:40:27.660 they're following
00:40:28.200 the mayor's orders.
00:40:29.680 That didn't work
00:40:30.540 in Nuremberg.
00:40:31.320 I was just following orders.
00:40:32.760 You see someone
00:40:33.300 getting beating up,
00:40:34.340 beaten up.
00:40:34.860 You don't say,
00:40:35.440 well,
00:40:35.520 my boss said to stand down.
00:40:37.160 No,
00:40:37.820 you helped.
00:40:38.580 Well,
00:40:38.740 they also arrest people.
00:40:40.060 They did step in
00:40:40.640 when they saw it,
00:40:41.740 but they're,
00:40:42.040 they finally saw it.
00:40:43.520 They didn't stop it,
00:40:44.700 but they did,
00:40:45.260 or they did arrest
00:40:46.100 three people.
00:40:47.040 I,
00:40:47.620 I think many of the cops
00:40:49.440 are caught between
00:40:50.160 a rock and a hard place
00:40:51.340 because nobody's going
00:40:52.220 to protect their families
00:40:53.300 or children
00:40:53.840 if they do step in.
00:40:55.680 It really has to be
00:40:57.400 all or one,
00:40:58.540 but this is very
00:41:00.040 early essay,
00:41:02.160 Germany.
00:41:07.160 the fusion
00:41:09.940 of entertainment
00:41:11.520 and enlightenment.
00:41:14.420 I think we need
00:41:16.100 to get a breathing bag
00:41:17.180 for our next guest.
00:41:18.660 She is,
00:41:19.900 she's either having a baby
00:41:23.740 or she's very,
00:41:25.000 very nervous
00:41:25.620 to come on.
00:41:26.620 I'm very,
00:41:27.460 very excited
00:41:27.940 to introduce you
00:41:28.940 to her
00:41:29.520 in one minute.
00:41:31.300 This is the
00:41:32.380 Glenn Beck Program.
00:41:33.100 So simply safe,
00:41:37.680 your home security
00:41:38.580 is really important.
00:41:40.560 You know,
00:41:40.880 you might want to think
00:41:41.540 about that
00:41:41.940 if you have a house
00:41:42.740 in Oregon.
00:41:43.420 I'm just saying.
00:41:44.880 I don't know
00:41:45.920 how anybody
00:41:46.540 in Portland
00:41:47.300 is living there.
00:41:49.760 Is this,
00:41:50.640 really?
00:41:51.120 Is this America now?
00:41:52.160 Is this what we're,
00:41:52.940 we're doing?
00:41:53.460 Just beating people?
00:41:54.600 One guy's in the hospital
00:41:55.820 today because he's,
00:41:56.960 he was hit over the head
00:41:59.160 with a crowbar
00:41:59.980 by Antifa,
00:42:01.580 you know,
00:42:01.820 because they found out
00:42:02.520 that he was a conservative,
00:42:03.700 which,
00:42:04.080 you know,
00:42:04.400 that's great.
00:42:05.000 That's great.
00:42:06.500 Andy,
00:42:07.060 Andy Noe is,
00:42:08.720 is now,
00:42:09.320 which by the way,
00:42:09.900 I think Andy Noe,
00:42:11.140 who is in the hospital
00:42:12.000 with a brain bleed
00:42:13.400 and please pray for him.
00:42:15.260 He was beaten
00:42:16.060 in the streets.
00:42:17.200 I just think that
00:42:18.420 somebody needs to give him
00:42:19.480 an honorary,
00:42:20.000 honorary doctorate
00:42:21.460 just because
00:42:22.180 at some point
00:42:23.420 we have to be able
00:42:24.040 to call him Dr. Noe.
00:42:25.180 I'm just saying.
00:42:26.780 Simply Safe Beck
00:42:28.040 is a place I want you to go
00:42:29.380 if you're looking
00:42:29.880 to protect your home.
00:42:31.160 It is the greatest
00:42:32.660 home security system.
00:42:34.480 They're offering now
00:42:35.820 a special,
00:42:37.960 right now,
00:42:38.680 where you get a special bonus,

00:42:53.880 I love these convenience store cameras
00:42:55.240 where like,
00:42:55.680 we're looking for a blob
00:42:56.660 that kind of looks like this.
00:42:58.500 No,
00:42:58.660 this is HD,
00:42:59.700 so you'll know exactly
00:43:00.480 what they look like.

00:43:09.660 Bridget Phetasy
00:43:22.940 is working once again.
00:43:24.420 She was working
00:43:26.060 at Playboy magazine
00:43:28.040 for a while.
00:43:28.920 She is,
00:43:29.620 she is a controversial woman
00:43:31.820 and a really,
00:43:34.280 I think,
00:43:35.380 important voice
00:43:36.240 that you need to hear.
00:43:37.360 She grew up,
00:43:38.280 she thought she was a liberal.
00:43:39.660 She,
00:43:39.820 I'm not sure she thinks she's,
00:43:41.380 she doesn't know what she is,
00:43:42.400 I think at this point,
00:43:43.340 at least last time
00:43:43.960 I talked to her,
00:43:44.480 but she's on a fascinating journey
00:43:47.260 and she has seen
00:43:49.120 the underbelly
00:43:49.960 of the left
00:43:50.900 and doesn't like it.
00:43:53.020 She's now a contributor
00:43:53.840 writing,
00:43:54.440 writer at Mel Dame,
00:43:55.880 the Federalist.
00:43:56.600 I'm trying to convince her
00:43:57.480 to come to work here
00:43:58.320 with us
00:43:58.920 and she's back
00:44:00.620 in the studio.
00:44:01.480 Bridget,
00:44:01.800 how are you?
00:44:02.540 I'm great.
00:44:03.100 Thank you for having me.
00:44:04.120 Yeah,
00:44:04.340 good.
00:44:04.780 That's good to have you.
00:44:05.820 Might be my only option
00:44:06.500 to work here soon.
00:44:08.300 So,
00:44:09.000 well,
00:44:09.280 it's usually,
00:44:09.640 usually it is,
00:44:12.860 usually it's the last place
00:44:14.420 you work.
00:44:17.540 Not necessarily by choice.
00:44:20.360 So,
00:44:21.040 Bridget,
00:44:22.500 first of all,
00:44:23.040 for anybody who doesn't know you,
00:44:25.720 describe yourself.
00:44:27.060 Yeah,
00:44:27.560 where,
00:44:28.260 you know,
00:44:28.640 who you,
00:44:29.360 who you are.
00:44:30.840 So,
00:44:31.440 I was,
00:44:31.840 I was born on the East Coast.
00:44:33.580 I moved every year and a half.
00:44:35.500 That's a very long story.
00:44:37.000 We're not sure why.
00:44:37.880 Right.
00:44:39.020 My,
00:44:39.660 people ask me if I'm military,
00:44:41.340 but I don't think I was.
00:44:44.300 My dad was in Russia
00:44:45.420 like every year and a half.
00:44:47.420 We,
00:44:47.800 every two weeks
00:44:48.740 and we,
00:44:49.160 we moved every year and a half.
00:44:51.040 Your dad was in Russia?
00:44:52.820 He's probably going to kill me
00:44:53.900 for talking about this.
00:44:55.360 Do you know what your dad did?
00:44:56.760 Was your dad like,
00:44:57.820 it was during.
00:44:58.380 I was in the,
00:44:59.160 import,
00:45:00.280 export business.
00:45:01.360 Yeah,
00:45:01.380 pretty much.
00:45:02.060 Yeah,
00:45:02.360 okay,
00:45:02.960 all right.
00:45:03.480 And I was the new girl at Skulls
00:45:04.820 and I raised my hand
00:45:05.900 and the teacher would say like,
00:45:07.660 what does your dad do,
00:45:08.680 Bridget?
00:45:09.080 And I'd say,
00:45:09.660 oh,
00:45:09.880 he buys and sells
00:45:11.200 Russian technology.
00:45:12.360 And I'm like,
00:45:12.600 okay,
00:45:13.300 little Johnny,
00:45:14.200 what does your dad do?
00:45:16.340 What years was that?
00:45:18.460 Gosh,
00:45:18.900 I was born in 78
00:45:20.400 and pretty much until,
00:45:22.580 weirdly,
00:45:24.040 Russia opened up.
00:45:24.960 So,
00:45:25.580 this might be something
00:45:29.280 you might want to have
00:45:30.600 a conversation with.
00:45:31.760 I have
00:45:32.120 and supposedly it was,
00:45:33.700 it's just me being crazy.
00:45:35.820 I've seen this movie,
00:45:36.460 Nicholas Cage.
00:45:37.220 Yeah.
00:45:37.500 Yeah,
00:45:37.800 yeah.
00:45:38.560 We saw True Lies with them
00:45:40.500 and we were all looking at him
00:45:42.060 the whole movie.
00:45:44.280 Like,
00:45:44.600 dad.
00:45:45.380 Okay,
00:45:45.720 so dad was some sort
00:45:47.020 of a Russian smuggler.
00:45:48.780 What did mom do?
00:45:50.320 She was a stay-at-home mom.
00:45:51.580 I'm the oldest of five.
00:45:52.700 Was her name Natasha?
00:45:53.560 No.
00:45:54.900 Okay.
00:45:55.940 I did,
00:45:56.880 I was married to a Belorussian
00:45:58.140 for five years
00:45:59.120 and when he was,
00:46:00.580 he was like,
00:46:01.260 Bridget,
00:46:01.680 your dad was a spy.
00:46:05.320 But,
00:46:06.120 yeah,
00:46:06.520 he,
00:46:07.220 we moved a lot.
00:46:08.920 I'm the oldest of five.
00:46:09.920 I come from a big
00:46:10.640 Irish Catholic family.
00:46:12.360 My dad's one of 10.
00:46:13.400 I have 26 first cousins.
00:46:15.060 But,
00:46:15.380 because I moved so much,
00:46:16.520 I had the opportunity
00:46:17.460 to be exposed to
00:46:19.140 all parts of America
00:46:20.860 in particular.
00:46:21.900 Yeah,
00:46:22.260 me too.
00:46:22.400 And I actually,
00:46:23.560 I hated it growing up
00:46:25.040 and I used to say
00:46:26.060 my parents should have
00:46:26.800 just named me new girl
00:46:27.740 because nobody ever knew me.
00:46:30.140 They were like,
00:46:31.040 hey,
00:46:31.300 new girl.
00:46:32.320 And I,
00:46:33.340 that,
00:46:33.760 but it also gave me,
00:46:35.300 I think,
00:46:36.240 tools that I didn't realize
00:46:37.640 I was developing
00:46:38.460 because you're always
00:46:40.000 the outsider
00:46:40.940 looking in.
00:46:42.340 And you,
00:46:43.600 it's uniquely prepared me
00:46:45.120 for this moment
00:46:45.960 I find myself in
00:46:47.100 not knowing who I am
00:46:48.980 or what I am.
00:46:49.900 looking,
00:46:51.900 I feel like,
00:46:53.240 at all of the tribes.
00:46:55.860 So that's,
00:46:56.440 I'm used to kind of
00:46:57.300 observing,
00:46:58.080 observing the tribes
00:46:59.180 from the outside.
00:47:00.360 Are you sick of the tribes?
00:47:01.900 Yeah,
00:47:02.300 I am.
00:47:03.400 I am too.
00:47:04.180 I don't,
00:47:05.060 I mean.
00:47:06.200 I think,
00:47:06.620 I think,
00:47:07.020 I would love to see
00:47:08.080 one big tribe
00:47:09.100 and that is
00:47:10.220 the American Constitution
00:47:11.820 tribe,
00:47:12.540 which would include
00:47:13.820 pretty much everybody.
00:47:15.420 Yeah.
00:47:15.760 As long as you agree
00:47:16.620 that,
00:47:17.060 hey,
00:47:17.380 everybody can have
00:47:18.220 their own opinion,
00:47:18.880 their own life,
00:47:19.500 do their own thing,
00:47:20.720 just don't jam it
00:47:21.560 down my throat,
00:47:22.460 let's live together.
00:47:23.520 Why can't we be
00:47:24.200 a part of that tribe?
00:47:24.820 What happened
00:47:25.360 to that tribe?
00:47:26.240 I don't know.
00:47:26.720 It's weird.
00:47:27.360 You were asking
00:47:27.900 how people live
00:47:28.640 in Portland.
00:47:29.160 So I've worked
00:47:29.760 in Oregon,
00:47:30.360 in Southern Oregon,
00:47:31.080 and I have a lot
00:47:32.480 of friends in Portland
00:47:33.160 and they have kids
00:47:34.180 and they don't even
00:47:34.940 know what's going on
00:47:36.100 with the Antifa stuff
00:47:37.800 because it's in,
00:47:38.600 How do they not know?
00:47:39.160 Well,
00:47:39.360 they know from the news,
00:47:40.420 but it's not,
00:47:41.120 it's not in their neighborhoods.
00:47:43.240 It's not like
00:47:45.260 streets everywhere.
00:47:46.200 So my friend said,
00:47:47.400 I asked him yesterday
00:47:48.280 and he's like,
00:47:48.800 I didn't even hear about it.
00:47:50.300 You don't even know
00:47:50.980 this stuff is going on
00:47:51.860 unless you just avoid
00:47:52.840 that part of town,
00:47:53.660 I guess.
00:47:54.660 But I feel like Portland
00:47:57.020 has become kind of
00:47:58.120 ground zero
00:47:58.760 for the extreme wings
00:48:01.700 of these tribes.
00:48:03.040 The most extreme
00:48:04.300 are kind of playing out
00:48:05.600 their little cosplay fantasies
00:48:07.560 on the streets
00:48:08.560 to the tune.
00:48:10.280 It's so dumb.
00:48:11.240 I mean,
00:48:11.460 I can't,
00:48:11.940 I think it's so dumb,
00:48:13.740 but now it's getting,
00:48:15.260 not so dumb.
00:48:16.620 Yeah,
00:48:16.880 it's dangerous.
00:48:17.900 It's still dangerous.
00:48:18.920 Yeah.
00:48:19.320 It's getting dumber
00:48:20.020 by the minute,
00:48:20.900 but it's just getting
00:48:21.760 more dangerous.
00:48:22.400 That was the thing
00:48:23.420 this weekend,
00:48:24.400 what happened,
00:48:24.980 it was chilling
00:48:25.600 for somebody like me
00:48:26.760 who doesn't always,
00:48:27.800 you know,
00:48:28.400 write in lockstep
00:48:29.400 seeing a lot of
00:48:31.480 blue check journalists
00:48:33.140 who are affiliated
00:48:34.440 with places
00:48:35.280 like the Huffington Post
00:48:36.360 and the New York Times,
00:48:37.160 mainstream organizations,
00:48:38.800 justifying the assault
00:48:41.500 of this journalist.
00:48:43.720 Well,
00:48:44.100 Eric Weinstein
00:48:47.020 wrote this today.
00:48:48.060 I love Eric.
00:48:48.860 Hi, Eric.
00:48:49.680 He's great.
00:48:50.480 He's great.
00:48:51.140 He's not here.
00:48:51.820 He's just saying,
00:48:52.540 we keep him in a box
00:48:54.380 in the other room.
00:48:57.020 So he wrote this,
00:48:58.360 quote,
00:48:58.740 a contributor
00:48:59.360 to the Wall Street Journal
00:49:00.480 was attacked on video
00:49:01.760 by Antifa demonstrators
00:49:03.760 where police were,
00:49:04.900 where police backed away,
00:49:06.840 hospitalized,
00:49:07.440 was suspected brain injury
00:49:09.020 after caustic chemicals
00:49:10.380 were allegedly thrown
00:49:11.340 in his face disguised
00:49:13.080 by domestic terrorists
00:49:14.800 as a milkshake.
00:49:16.220 He says,
00:49:16.580 where is this story?
00:49:17.920 Because the one I read
00:49:19.480 is this.
00:49:21.380 Members of groups
00:49:22.460 opposed to fascism
00:49:23.920 clashed with far wheat right
00:49:25.860 proud boys
00:49:26.740 in Portland demonstrations
00:49:28.020 in which a conservative
00:49:29.640 journalist
00:49:30.240 for a right wing website,
00:49:32.300 Quillette,
00:49:32.860 was injured.
00:49:34.140 Now those are
00:49:34.940 the same stories.
00:49:36.000 And you know
00:49:38.440 that's exactly
00:49:39.400 how it's being reported
00:49:40.600 if it's being reported.
00:49:42.200 It's always framed
00:49:42.880 as clashes.
00:49:43.980 Yeah.
00:49:44.440 Yeah.
00:49:45.280 And right wing,
00:49:47.200 you know,
00:49:47.860 conservative
00:49:48.540 and these are people
00:49:50.040 who are just against fascism.
00:49:51.520 They are fascists.
00:49:52.940 How do they not see that?
00:49:54.620 I'm going to get milkshaked
00:49:55.660 when I go back to LA
00:49:56.920 just for sitting here
00:49:58.100 and talking to you.
00:49:58.980 Can I tell you something?
00:50:00.500 Please.
00:50:01.800 I love strawberry,
00:50:03.680 fresh strawberry milkshakes
00:50:04.980 are delicious.
00:50:06.720 You know,
00:50:07.080 I don't mind it.
00:50:07.920 I don't mind it.
00:50:08.540 Try to aim for my mouth.
00:50:10.900 Please.
00:50:12.260 It is chilling though.
00:50:14.760 To the political violence,
00:50:16.700 where does that end?
00:50:17.900 Exactly.
00:50:18.660 When you're trying,
00:50:19.360 when you're saying
00:50:20.000 it's okay to throw a milkshake,
00:50:21.720 it's okay to spit on people,
00:50:23.400 it's okay to...
00:50:24.680 Well, but what do you,
00:50:25.660 I mean,
00:50:25.880 we have a,
00:50:26.720 as you probably noticed
00:50:27.880 when you walk through
00:50:28.700 and right out of the
00:50:30.240 dressing room area,
00:50:31.620 you know,
00:50:32.060 you know,
00:50:32.760 the Klan and...
00:50:35.260 Yeah,
00:50:35.700 I was a little,
00:50:36.580 I was like,
00:50:37.340 what's happening?
00:50:38.760 We should be clear
00:50:39.440 we didn't rent them space.
00:50:40.780 There's a museum going on.
00:50:41.640 There's a museum going on.
00:50:42.780 So you're coming through,
00:50:44.080 but as you're looking at this,
00:50:46.300 I gave tours this weekend
00:50:48.240 of this museum
00:50:49.820 and it's so clear
00:50:52.580 what's happening right now
00:50:54.980 and anytime anyone says,
00:50:58.000 shut up,
00:51:00.000 anytime anyone says,
00:51:01.440 you don't have a right
00:51:04.700 to have that point of view,
00:51:07.200 anytime anybody is beating somebody
00:51:09.280 to get them to shut up,
00:51:10.940 you've got a problem.
00:51:12.280 Yeah.
00:51:12.580 You have a real problem
00:51:13.200 and I think Antifa is strengthened
00:51:16.540 not only by,
00:51:18.160 in Portland,
00:51:19.060 the mayor's office,
00:51:21.040 but by all of the journalists,
00:51:23.060 by all of the people who say,
00:51:24.600 well,
00:51:24.700 I didn't even know it.
00:51:25.620 I didn't see it going on.
00:51:27.360 I don't pay attention.
00:51:28.440 You need to pay attention.
00:51:29.460 Our country is in trouble right now
00:51:31.820 and it's also strengthened
00:51:34.000 by this concept
00:51:35.900 that you don't have
00:51:38.920 a valued opinion.
00:51:41.100 You had a valued opinion
00:51:42.300 until people,
00:51:43.280 until you started staying up,
00:51:44.380 standing up going,
00:51:45.560 wait,
00:51:45.700 I don't agree with that.
00:51:46.840 I don't agree with everything
00:51:48.040 that I was saying on the right.
00:51:49.080 I don't agree with everything
00:51:49.880 they're saying on the left,
00:51:50.740 but I got to take a stand here
00:51:52.620 because this is ridiculous.
00:51:53.880 Look at what you're doing.
00:51:54.580 Once you said that,
00:51:57.080 you're no longer a human.
00:51:59.060 Now I'm an alt-right.
00:52:00.740 I'm the alt-right.
00:52:02.600 That's,
00:52:03.600 yeah,
00:52:04.600 it's a little disconcerting
00:52:07.060 to see
00:52:07.740 what is really worrisome to me
00:52:11.560 is just the justification of it
00:52:13.660 that I'm seeing
00:52:14.400 from people
00:52:15.600 with very large platforms
00:52:17.220 of this is okay
00:52:18.560 because you want to talk
00:52:19.900 about a slippery slope
00:52:20.820 and when I was on your podcast,
00:52:22.300 we talked about this.
00:52:23.260 this is the kind of stuff
00:52:25.040 that does lead
00:52:25.820 to self-censorship.
00:52:26.960 If you see
00:52:27.520 a journalist get beat up
00:52:29.160 for covering Antifa
00:52:31.180 in a way
00:52:31.680 that isn't the way
00:52:32.760 the mainstream covers it
00:52:34.020 and then you see
00:52:35.200 those journalists saying,
00:52:36.860 well,
00:52:37.160 actually,
00:52:38.660 if you,
00:52:39.360 and the good faith argument
00:52:41.000 is that they believe,
00:52:43.080 if I believe
00:52:43.920 I'm fighting Nazis,
00:52:46.220 of course,
00:52:47.240 you should be fighting Nazis
00:52:48.940 but the problem
00:52:49.860 is that that word fascist
00:52:51.520 has been so,
00:52:52.400 it's this coverall
00:52:53.620 for anyone
00:52:55.020 that disagrees with you.
00:52:56.320 It's been,
00:52:56.720 the meaning of it
00:52:57.720 has been destroyed
00:52:58.500 as well as Nazis.
00:52:59.920 So now when every,
00:53:00.820 and we've talked about that,
00:53:02.140 I mean,
00:53:02.840 Dave Rubin and I
00:53:03.520 were saying this,
00:53:04.360 it's like,
00:53:04.900 if only anyone was saying
00:53:06.400 this is bad
00:53:07.280 because now
00:53:08.140 when you're saying
00:53:09.240 speech is violent,
00:53:10.400 it gives people
00:53:11.380 the right
00:53:11.840 to be violent
00:53:12.700 for speech
00:53:13.900 and that's,
00:53:16.560 that's insanity.
00:53:17.780 It's,
00:53:18.400 it's so hard
00:53:20.380 for me to believe
00:53:21.460 that it's happening.
00:53:22.740 But if you look again
00:53:23.880 at history
00:53:24.640 and this is,
00:53:25.320 this is where
00:53:26.040 we have to look
00:53:27.060 for patterns.
00:53:27.820 The only reason
00:53:28.300 to learn history
00:53:29.140 is so you can see patterns
00:53:31.000 and once you recognize
00:53:32.520 the pattern,
00:53:33.220 it may not,
00:53:33.760 it's never going
00:53:34.920 to look the same.
00:53:35.840 Again,
00:53:36.080 history doesn't repeat
00:53:36.840 itself,
00:53:37.280 it rhymes.
00:53:38.120 So it looks
00:53:40.520 a lot like,
00:53:42.400 but it's not exactly.
00:53:44.140 So burning books,
00:53:46.260 history rhymes.
00:53:47.820 We're not burning books,
00:53:49.040 but we are taking books
00:53:50.940 out of libraries.
00:53:52.000 We are deleting voices
00:53:53.900 and their opinions online.
00:53:56.000 There's just no actual burning
00:53:57.680 of everything
00:53:58.320 that Steven Crowder
00:53:59.480 or,
00:54:00.240 or the Weinsteins
00:54:01.740 have done.
00:54:02.520 They've just been banned
00:54:04.000 and relegated
00:54:04.720 and put behind
00:54:05.460 a digital wall.
00:54:06.560 So history,
00:54:07.860 no,
00:54:08.000 they're not burning books.
00:54:09.180 It rhymes.
00:54:10.560 They're mobbing people
00:54:11.660 before they even
00:54:12.820 get published.
00:54:13.600 You can't burn a book
00:54:14.540 if it never gets published.
00:54:15.780 Exactly right.
00:54:16.520 So it's not even,
00:54:17.740 you don't need to burn the book.
00:54:18.760 Just mob the author
00:54:20.180 until they retract
00:54:21.320 their book from publication
00:54:22.560 because they're,
00:54:23.620 and then have to apologize.
00:54:25.560 Right.
00:54:25.900 And when you look at,
00:54:27.220 well,
00:54:27.340 I want to take it,
00:54:27.920 I'm going to take it
00:54:28.360 one more place.
00:54:29.080 I'm going to take it
00:54:30.700 someplace really dangerous.
00:54:32.060 Let's talk about,
00:54:33.180 let's talk about
00:54:34.040 what was the purchase,
00:54:35.200 what was the purpose
00:54:36.080 of lynching people?
00:54:37.380 Oh boy.
00:54:38.840 And Bridget has a lot
00:54:40.780 to say about this.
00:54:41.960 I'm like,
00:54:41.980 what's going on?
00:54:43.820 This is definitely
00:54:44.800 what I'm going to end up
00:54:45.680 trending on Twitter,
00:54:46.640 which I've been trying
00:54:47.540 to avoid.
00:54:49.020 Well,
00:54:49.500 we're going to try
00:54:49.980 to change that for you.
00:54:51.040 Oh,
00:54:51.340 thanks, Glenn.
00:54:51.980 Bridget Fetison coming up
00:54:53.200 in 60 seconds
00:54:55.440 more with Bridget.
00:54:56.820 All right.
00:54:57.420 To Google and Facebook,
00:54:58.840 you are a product.
00:55:00.240 Their entire business strategy
00:55:01.640 is to gather
00:55:02.380 as much data about you
00:55:04.100 and then create algorithms
00:55:07.380 and AI
00:55:08.360 that can replicate you
00:55:10.760 and predict you,
00:55:11.960 but also to be able
00:55:13.320 to sell you products.
00:55:15.540 It's amazing what's happening
00:55:16.920 and we just don't recognize
00:55:19.020 what's happening.
00:55:19.980 We don't recognize
00:55:21.480 that we are a product
00:55:23.300 and we own
00:55:24.620 our personal data,
00:55:26.440 not Google.
00:55:27.560 We own it.
00:55:28.440 The only way to fight back
00:55:29.960 against manipulation
00:55:31.160 like this
00:55:31.980 is to have a virtual
00:55:33.220 private network
00:55:34.300 and Norton
00:55:35.120 is the only people
00:55:35.980 that I would trust
00:55:36.600 to have a VPN.
00:55:37.600 Norton Secure
00:55:38.280 has been around forever.
00:55:39.500 They now have
00:55:39.960 Norton Secure VPN.
00:55:41.520 It is truly
00:55:42.000 a private network.
00:55:43.580 It takes all
00:55:44.160 of your internet connections
00:55:45.200 and it encrypts them.
00:55:46.400 I mean,
00:55:46.860 we're talking banking level
00:55:48.000 security encryption,
00:55:49.540 so it appears
00:55:50.040 as gibberish
00:55:50.780 to Facebook
00:55:51.500 or any cyber criminal
00:55:52.820 who's trying to look at
00:55:54.100 or steal your data.
00:55:55.720 You can use
00:55:56.500 Norton Secure VPN
00:55:58.420 with either your laptop
00:56:00.100 or your mobile device.
00:56:01.740 It's easy to use.
00:56:02.780 You just install it,
00:56:04.220 log in one time
00:56:05.300 and it runs seamlessly
00:56:06.300 in the background.
00:56:07.620 It's Norton Secure VPN.
00:56:09.940 They don't track
00:56:10.740 your online activity
00:56:11.880 and they don't let
00:56:12.600 anybody else do it either.
00:56:13.780 They are the leader
00:56:15.340 in customer cyber security.

00:56:28.520 That's norton.com
00:56:29.800 slash VPN.
00:56:31.640 We break for 10 seconds
00:56:33.260 a station ID
00:56:34.560 and then Bridget
00:56:35.500 will start breathing
00:56:36.200 heavily again
00:56:36.980 because she's
00:56:37.500 in a panic attack.
00:56:38.960 We're going to get her
00:56:39.560 to trend on Twitter.
00:56:43.780 Okay, so let's talk
00:56:49.580 about just lynching
00:56:50.300 for just a second.
00:56:51.760 Bridget, you were for it, right?
00:56:53.640 Everybody knows.
00:56:55.640 Wow, you're trending
00:56:56.420 on Twitter.
00:56:57.100 Congratulations.
00:57:00.140 The whole point
00:57:02.100 I hate you.
00:57:02.560 I hate you all.
00:57:04.240 The whole point
00:57:05.420 of lynching
00:57:06.140 was not
00:57:07.720 to kill black people.
00:57:10.020 It was to intimidate
00:57:11.620 all other black people
00:57:13.760 and white people.
00:57:15.460 You know,
00:57:16.040 there were
00:57:16.460 between 18,
00:57:18.820 how was it,
00:57:19.720 1880 and 1964,
00:57:23.200 there were about
00:57:23.900 5,000 lynchings,
00:57:26.800 right around 5,000 lynchings
00:57:28.200 of Americans.
00:57:29.980 Three quarters
00:57:31.060 of them were black.
00:57:32.720 The last quarter
00:57:33.720 of them were white.
00:57:35.240 White people
00:57:35.560 who were defending.
00:57:36.820 Defending and helping
00:57:37.840 and standing up.
00:57:39.200 The idea was
00:57:40.860 to intimidate,
00:57:42.020 to kill those people
00:57:43.060 doing it publicly.
00:57:44.340 Many times
00:57:44.920 they were announced
00:57:45.800 in advance.
00:57:46.480 Hey, we're having
00:57:46.940 a lynching.
00:57:48.280 People would come
00:57:49.540 with picnic baskets.
00:57:51.520 Now, those people
00:57:52.560 who didn't come
00:57:53.220 with picnic baskets
00:57:54.420 to watch these lynchings,
00:57:56.500 those were the people
00:57:57.540 that, you know,
00:57:59.780 the mask
00:58:01.920 over the Klan
00:58:02.820 was trying
00:58:03.880 to intimidate
00:58:04.880 and the lynching
00:58:06.600 was trying
00:58:07.020 to intimidate.
00:58:07.980 Shut up.
00:58:08.680 Sit down.
00:58:09.820 Don't get involved.
00:58:12.100 Well, that's the problem.
00:58:13.780 Too many people
00:58:14.480 are either uninformed,
00:58:17.240 willful ignorance,
00:58:18.220 or they just
00:58:19.500 don't want
00:58:20.060 to get involved
00:58:20.840 because I think
00:58:21.900 they don't know
00:58:22.500 what to do.
00:58:24.380 I'm with the
00:58:25.280 don't want
00:58:25.720 to get involved.
00:58:26.500 Yeah, yeah.
00:58:27.600 But you are.
00:58:28.780 I know.
00:58:29.220 Here I am.
00:58:29.840 Yeah, you are.
00:58:30.700 You just told me
00:58:31.800 I said to you beforehand
00:58:33.520 because you are nervous
00:58:34.500 about it
00:58:35.080 because you are a target.
00:58:38.280 And I said to you
00:58:39.620 before it went on,
00:58:40.500 I said,
00:58:40.980 you don't have to come on.
00:58:42.220 I know.
00:58:42.660 You did.
00:58:43.040 That was nice of you.
00:58:43.940 And you said?
00:58:45.220 I said,
00:58:45.700 just because I'm afraid
00:58:46.520 of something
00:58:46.960 doesn't mean
00:58:47.460 I'm not going to do it.
00:58:48.880 And I do think
00:58:49.880 it's important
00:58:50.380 to have conversations
00:58:51.660 and I think
00:58:52.900 a way to fight
00:58:54.140 the idea
00:58:55.080 that you can't talk
00:58:56.120 to somebody
00:58:57.340 who's an alt-right figure.
00:58:59.580 Yeah, like Glenn B.
00:59:00.440 Me?
00:59:01.200 Like Stu.
00:59:02.420 I'm a big alt-righter.
00:59:03.700 Yeah, that's me.
00:59:05.380 You know,
00:59:05.700 what's crazy
00:59:06.140 is we've been standing
00:59:06.980 against the alt-right
00:59:07.960 before it was even
00:59:09.500 called the alt-right.
00:59:10.840 I see the position
00:59:12.080 that people like you
00:59:13.780 and Ben Shapiro
00:59:14.600 because I keep an eye
00:59:17.440 on the far right
00:59:18.340 just to see
00:59:18.900 what they're up to.
00:59:20.020 And it's interesting to me
00:59:22.040 when you guys
00:59:22.480 are constantly getting it
00:59:23.640 from both sides.
00:59:25.700 Yeah, it's kind of
00:59:26.400 a lonely place to be.
00:59:28.620 Kind of a lonely place.
00:59:29.580 But it's a great place
00:59:30.500 to be because
00:59:31.180 you are with people
00:59:32.040 like Dave Rubin,
00:59:33.240 the Weinsteins,
00:59:34.280 you're with you.
00:59:35.740 Yeah.
00:59:36.220 You know,
00:59:36.700 and it's a growing...
00:59:39.080 There was time
00:59:39.800 that it was just
00:59:40.360 kind of like,
00:59:40.940 hello, hello, hello.
00:59:43.400 Nobody around.
00:59:44.840 But now it's starting
00:59:45.940 to be filled
00:59:46.840 with really quality people.
00:59:50.040 I think they're seeing...
00:59:51.720 I think a lot of people
00:59:52.940 are burned out
00:59:53.500 on the tribalism.
00:59:54.620 And when you get out
00:59:56.180 into America,
00:59:57.320 if you're not on Twitter
00:59:58.560 or in the media,
00:59:59.580 you're not necessarily
01:00:00.860 exposed to the level
01:00:02.500 of vitriol
01:00:04.100 and tribalism
01:00:04.840 that we are.
01:00:05.700 I think that
01:00:06.380 James Lindsay
01:00:07.320 was recently posting
01:00:08.360 a study about how
01:00:09.440 actually you're
01:00:10.420 radicalizing yourself
01:00:11.660 if you're on social media
01:00:13.100 a lot,
01:00:13.600 and Twitter in particular.
01:00:15.320 And I have conversations...
01:00:17.980 One of my patron levels
01:00:19.080 is speaking to people.
01:00:21.140 And it's...
01:00:22.460 I realized recently
01:00:23.640 that I have...
01:00:25.460 There's 21 at that level,
01:00:27.340 18 of them.
01:00:28.300 Every single person
01:00:29.080 is in a different state.
01:00:30.620 And many of them
01:00:32.300 are in swing states
01:00:33.040 who didn't vote for Trump.
01:00:34.500 And I've been asking them
01:00:35.760 how they feel
01:00:36.920 about the election coming up.
01:00:38.540 And I don't...
01:00:39.880 I keep screaming at the left.
01:00:41.640 That was kind of
01:00:42.820 how I ended up
01:00:43.640 in the middle
01:00:44.080 was saying,
01:00:44.620 you guys are pushing people away.
01:00:46.280 You're pushing voters
01:00:47.500 who are moderates
01:00:48.400 out of your party
01:00:49.720 just because
01:00:50.340 if you dare to speak out
01:00:51.980 and say,
01:00:52.820 hey,
01:00:53.580 this is maybe crazy,
01:00:55.420 you're now labeled
01:00:56.640 a conservative
01:00:57.240 or all right or worse.
01:00:59.180 And a lot of these...
01:01:00.600 The other thing
01:01:01.220 that I noticed
01:01:01.840 and talked to my people about
01:01:04.980 was that
01:01:05.760 they were...
01:01:06.680 All of this kind of
01:01:07.540 chicken littling
01:01:08.240 that occurred,
01:01:09.260 the economy is going to collapse,
01:01:11.500 we're going to be
01:01:12.060 in World War III.
01:01:12.940 It hasn't yet.
01:01:14.000 Doesn't mean it won't.
01:01:15.060 But because that didn't happen,
01:01:16.540 a lot of these people
01:01:17.300 who didn't vote for Trump
01:01:18.660 or might have been
01:01:19.300 squishy about it
01:01:20.200 are now like,
01:01:22.040 well,
01:01:22.700 it's not that bad,
01:01:24.600 I guess.
01:01:25.460 And seeing that
01:01:27.060 the left is now
01:01:27.920 fully,
01:01:28.680 you know,
01:01:29.400 barreling towards socialism
01:01:30.780 in ways
01:01:32.920 that are not even covert.
01:01:35.420 Yeah.
01:01:36.640 Yeah.
01:01:37.240 I just think that...
01:01:38.460 And that's what I was saying
01:01:39.160 at this point
01:01:39.820 that I feel like
01:01:40.940 the entitlement
01:01:42.560 of the vote
01:01:43.300 is what...
01:01:44.560 Why don't you care
01:01:45.440 about losing somebody like me?
01:01:46.720 I'm a registered independent.
01:01:47.900 Why don't you care?
01:01:49.680 That's a question I have.
01:01:51.440 Because now I'm just
01:01:52.520 labeled racist.
01:01:53.620 And that's a certain
01:01:54.840 level of entitlement
01:01:55.780 to just say,
01:01:56.900 well,
01:01:57.860 vote for us
01:01:58.540 or you're racist.
01:01:59.540 And hate poor people.
01:02:00.340 So I need to take a break.
01:02:02.720 But when we come back,
01:02:03.780 let's go there.
01:02:04.920 Because I can't figure it out.
01:02:06.780 I can't figure out
01:02:08.000 are they just
01:02:10.280 living in such
01:02:11.700 a tight little bubble
01:02:12.900 that they just think
01:02:14.780 everybody thinks
01:02:15.560 the same way
01:02:16.300 as they do?
01:02:17.180 Or what?
01:02:18.440 What is their plan?
01:02:19.580 We'll get to that
01:02:20.300 with Bridget Phetasy
01:02:21.360 who is hopefully
01:02:23.400 going to be trending
01:02:24.040 on Twitter today
01:02:25.160 for just being
01:02:26.040 on this program
01:02:27.020 coming up in a second.
01:02:28.180 You're listening
01:02:32.240 to Glenn Beck.
01:02:34.960 All right.
01:02:35.540 Let me tell you
01:02:35.900 about Blinds.com.
01:02:37.140 Blinds.com

01:02:50.760 We have a window
01:02:51.460 in our atrium
01:02:52.320 that is about
01:02:53.380 what would you say
01:02:53.980 that is?
01:02:54.920 Story and a half?
01:02:55.900 I mean it's this
01:02:57.260 enormous round window
01:02:58.720 so I don't know
01:02:59.340 how they're going
01:02:59.680 to make the blinds
01:03:00.540 because they have
01:03:01.380 to be round.
01:03:02.500 But good heavens man
01:03:03.980 that sun comes
01:03:04.860 into the window
01:03:05.760 and it's like
01:03:06.380 a magnifying glass
01:03:08.600 and you're an ant.
01:03:10.260 It's a little hot
01:03:11.000 here in Texas.

01:03:45.840 Back with more

01:03:49.240 and you can get her
01:03:49.940 on Twitter
01:03:50.240 at Bridget Phetasy
01:03:51.000 and make her trend
01:03:52.460 today to hopefully
01:03:53.400 ruin her life.
01:03:54.280 Back in a moment.
01:03:54.980 So Bridget I just
01:03:58.880 we're with Bridget Phetasy
01:03:59.940 this is the
01:04:01.300 Glenn Beck program
01:04:02.000 I want to say that
01:04:03.740 because she just is
01:04:05.220 like she's going to
01:04:06.000 trend on Twitter
01:04:06.520 for being on the
01:04:07.680 Glenn Beck program
01:04:08.400 in fact everybody
01:04:09.180 should just make sure
01:04:10.480 that she's
01:04:11.200 she's trending
01:04:12.420 that she is here
01:04:13.500 on the Glenn Beck
01:04:14.280 program
01:04:14.820 she's been trying
01:04:16.640 to avoid trending
01:04:17.800 because it's bad
01:04:19.060 when somebody comes
01:04:19.700 to you and says
01:04:20.180 never good
01:04:20.700 yeah you're trending
01:04:21.740 on Twitter
01:04:22.140 you're like
01:04:22.520 oh dear god
01:04:23.480 what did I say
01:04:24.100 what for this time
01:04:25.600 you know it's never
01:04:26.720 good it's never
01:04:27.380 like Glenn Beck
01:04:28.420 was a super nice
01:04:29.320 guy
01:04:29.780 that doesn't
01:04:31.160 happen
01:04:31.440 doesn't happen
01:04:32.140 you either are dead
01:04:33.520 or you're being
01:04:34.720 mobbed
01:04:35.260 right
01:04:35.580 all right
01:04:37.460 so we were
01:04:38.620 talking about
01:04:39.320 how the Democrats
01:04:40.580 have gone so far
01:04:42.160 to the crazy
01:04:43.100 radical revolutionary
01:04:44.320 left
01:04:44.960 and what are they
01:04:46.320 thinking
01:04:46.640 let me ask you
01:04:47.460 two questions
01:04:48.120 first one
01:04:48.800 I was out for a
01:04:50.060 couple of weeks
01:04:50.720 and the more
01:04:51.720 out in the you
01:04:53.380 know in the
01:04:54.460 farmlands of
01:04:55.320 America
01:04:55.680 and as I was
01:04:57.800 driving you know
01:04:59.720 in this for this
01:05:00.500 vacation I'd stop
01:05:01.620 in towns and I
01:05:02.920 didn't know their
01:05:03.360 politics and everybody
01:05:04.580 seemed normal
01:05:05.280 everybody it
01:05:06.800 doesn't seem like
01:05:07.840 we're on the
01:05:08.440 verge of a
01:05:09.200 revolution in
01:05:10.240 America but once
01:05:11.760 I read Twitter
01:05:12.700 Facebook watch
01:05:13.920 the media I am
01:05:15.220 convinced we are
01:05:16.980 on the edge of
01:05:18.060 revolution so do
01:05:21.040 the people in the
01:05:22.860 the normal people
01:05:24.400 of America and
01:05:25.060 I'm talking normal
01:05:26.600 Democrats that we
01:05:27.580 live next door not
01:05:29.040 activists do they
01:05:30.880 buy into this no
01:05:32.280 I don't think they
01:05:33.500 do I think the
01:05:34.320 you know there's
01:05:35.040 always this talk
01:05:35.760 about how you
01:05:36.980 get radicalized to
01:05:38.120 the right if you
01:05:39.040 go on YouTube or
01:05:40.880 or Twitter or
01:05:42.000 whatnot but I
01:05:43.160 so crazy to hear
01:05:44.320 that my theory is
01:05:45.840 that there's no
01:05:46.300 pathway to the left
01:05:47.420 though because if
01:05:48.380 you are center
01:05:49.060 left you get
01:05:50.520 silence or you
01:05:52.340 just stay silent
01:05:53.320 because if you're a
01:05:54.400 moderate that
01:05:55.800 there's no they
01:05:57.540 don't allow very
01:05:58.400 much room for
01:05:59.480 moderate Democrats
01:06:01.980 Democrats and so
01:06:03.200 where's that
01:06:04.160 pathway because
01:06:05.320 they're afraid to
01:06:06.360 say anything that's
01:06:07.580 remotely critical of
01:06:09.000 the party so that
01:06:11.380 is one theory is
01:06:12.400 that there's just a
01:06:13.140 lot more of them and
01:06:14.160 they're just quiet and
01:06:15.260 they they just go
01:06:16.300 about their day and
01:06:17.100 they work and they
01:06:18.000 but are they seeing
01:06:19.800 it because they go on
01:06:20.780 with their work are
01:06:21.420 they actually seeing
01:06:22.100 like I was in Los
01:06:23.300 Angeles and I was
01:06:24.660 talking to a guy who
01:06:25.780 is a lefty but he's
01:06:27.900 not a guy who's on
01:06:29.020 Twitter and Facebook and
01:06:30.080 everything else and
01:06:30.780 he said you know
01:06:31.400 what I have a real
01:06:32.020 problem I think you
01:06:33.140 were there still you
01:06:33.920 know what I have a
01:06:34.380 real problem with is
01:06:35.760 people on your side
01:06:37.060 and and this voter ID
01:06:39.400 stuff and I said
01:06:40.820 really that that's
01:06:42.800 your issue he said
01:06:43.560 yeah that's my issue
01:06:44.620 he said it's
01:06:45.580 ridiculous your stance
01:06:47.060 I don't even
01:06:48.140 understand it explain
01:06:49.180 it I have to go in
01:06:50.740 and I want to buy
01:06:51.520 alcohol I have to
01:06:52.720 have ID you know
01:06:54.440 I'm gonna do this and
01:06:55.440 I have to have ID and
01:06:56.800 I said so you're
01:06:58.780 pro ID and he
01:07:01.540 said yes your
01:07:02.540 stance doesn't make
01:07:03.500 any sense and I
01:07:04.360 said that's your
01:07:05.640 stance dude that's
01:07:07.360 your stance most
01:07:08.960 people are just not
01:07:09.740 thinking they just
01:07:10.620 hear it they don't
01:07:13.260 engage and so
01:07:14.800 they're just kind of
01:07:15.440 like oh I thought
01:07:17.400 you were the violent
01:07:18.180 ones yeah I was
01:07:20.500 coming coming here
01:07:21.860 and oh boy and my
01:07:23.680 and my sister said
01:07:25.900 where are you going
01:07:26.560 and I said I'm going
01:07:28.160 to be on Glenn
01:07:29.320 Beck's radio show
01:07:30.200 and she's like who's
01:07:30.980 he really yeah
01:07:33.180 that's a good thing
01:07:34.320 yeah I like that
01:07:36.180 and I and because I
01:07:38.360 was kind of nervous
01:07:39.040 to tell her I never
01:07:39.940 really know how
01:07:40.600 anyone's gonna react
01:07:41.940 to it yeah and
01:07:43.160 she's like who's
01:07:43.940 that I was like oh
01:07:45.120 that's kind of relief
01:07:46.380 yeah yeah so I
01:07:48.220 don't I don't know
01:07:48.960 that there's a I
01:07:50.820 think that there's a
01:07:51.780 larger group of
01:07:52.820 sane my dad actually
01:07:54.820 was like well I
01:07:55.620 want you to know
01:07:56.260 bridge we were
01:07:56.840 talking on the phone
01:07:57.560 he said I want you
01:07:58.180 to know I'm voting
01:07:58.760 for Biden because
01:07:59.780 he's the only one
01:08:00.480 who's not insane
01:08:01.600 even Joe Biden's
01:08:04.780 family doesn't have
01:08:05.480 that position yeah
01:08:06.160 right the daddy's
01:08:07.800 thoroughly corrupt
01:08:08.800 and he might be dead
01:08:10.120 two weeks after the
01:08:11.220 election I don't
01:08:13.220 care but that is
01:08:15.360 also that goes to
01:08:16.440 show he's an old
01:08:17.680 you know old school
01:08:19.080 blue blood kind of
01:08:20.480 Democrat on the east
01:08:21.680 coast this is so
01:08:22.560 interesting about this
01:08:23.220 election in particular
01:08:23.980 in that like the
01:08:25.200 most likely outcome
01:08:26.440 here is that the
01:08:27.520 election is decided
01:08:28.500 by Obama Trump
01:08:30.060 voters people who
01:08:31.200 voted for Barack
01:08:31.860 Obama and then
01:08:32.720 decided to vote for
01:08:33.420 Donald Trump in
01:08:33.980 2016 that was 20
01:08:35.360 percent of the
01:08:36.120 Trump voters wow
01:08:37.500 yeah I didn't know
01:08:38.680 that did you no I
01:08:39.680 mean I don't know
01:08:40.360 much nobody knows
01:08:42.420 that nobody knows
01:08:43.500 that 20 percent
01:08:44.620 they always say
01:08:45.180 well you know it's
01:08:46.320 all these crazy
01:08:46.940 right-wing no no
01:08:47.840 no it's largely
01:08:48.760 Democrats that
01:08:49.480 crossed the you
01:08:50.700 know the road to
01:08:51.620 vote because they
01:08:52.680 didn't like Hillary
01:08:53.720 and and the the
01:08:55.780 like the response
01:08:57.140 by the Democrats
01:08:58.000 is to go so far
01:08:59.800 to the left that
01:09:00.620 you're going to
01:09:01.000 alienate those
01:09:01.680 people I think even
01:09:02.600 more right oh yeah
01:09:04.100 it's not even
01:09:04.920 thinking it's
01:09:05.580 happening for sure
01:09:06.560 are you seeing that
01:09:07.940 are you seeing people
01:09:08.800 that are saying I'm
01:09:10.140 not I can't well
01:09:11.420 and the thing I
01:09:12.600 because I'm kind of
01:09:13.480 this political safe
01:09:14.400 space people come to
01:09:16.000 me and tell me the
01:09:16.840 truth in LA and
01:09:18.000 even in LA you're
01:09:18.920 seeing it I'm seeing
01:09:20.000 I have comedians
01:09:21.180 reaching out to me
01:09:21.920 like thank God for
01:09:22.860 what you're saying
01:09:23.500 I have but do
01:09:24.620 they say this I
01:09:25.680 hate this I hate
01:09:26.820 this I get this all
01:09:28.040 the time thank God
01:09:29.760 for what you're
01:09:30.320 saying I'm so
01:09:31.200 grateful you're
01:09:32.140 saying you've got
01:09:33.280 so much courage I
01:09:34.420 could never say this
01:09:35.380 don't repeat this
01:09:36.180 conversation but thank
01:09:37.860 you I'm like wait
01:09:39.240 so I'm just here
01:09:40.100 taking a bullet for
01:09:41.020 you yeah yeah and
01:09:43.060 that's what I'm yeah
01:09:44.680 that's okay though I
01:09:45.760 guess I somebody's
01:09:47.320 gonna do it at first
01:09:48.040 I don't have as
01:09:48.720 much to lose you
01:09:49.580 have your own thing
01:09:51.480 you're your own
01:09:52.720 boss I'm my own
01:09:54.360 boss I don't have a
01:09:55.700 family to feed I
01:09:56.900 don't have you know
01:09:58.060 there are real
01:09:58.980 concerns if you are
01:10:00.740 not if if you get
01:10:03.060 called into HR if
01:10:05.300 you suddenly say
01:10:06.300 something that you
01:10:07.440 don't want to lose
01:10:08.500 your job because you
01:10:09.600 said something
01:10:10.420 political on Twitter
01:10:11.300 so most people just
01:10:12.800 don't there's too
01:10:14.360 much risk
01:10:14.840 smart yeah it is
01:10:15.960 smart it is and I
01:10:17.820 I don't tell I don't
01:10:19.620 think everybody should
01:10:20.460 just risk their job so
01:10:21.840 that they can they
01:10:23.240 can although there's a
01:10:25.820 part of me that if you
01:10:27.900 don't right I I think
01:10:30.220 that like Claire layman
01:10:32.180 said from Quillette we
01:10:33.680 have to share the risk
01:10:34.840 if if you are seeing
01:10:36.760 this kind of
01:10:37.880 radicalization and
01:10:39.040 moving very far to the
01:10:40.900 right the more people
01:10:41.760 that do push back and
01:10:43.340 speak out and say
01:10:44.260 listen this doesn't
01:10:45.740 you don't represent
01:10:46.420 us I saw this this
01:10:48.060 commercial for a new
01:10:51.460 documentary on CNN
01:10:52.640 about the rise of the
01:10:53.880 radical Nazi right the
01:10:55.540 white supremacist right
01:10:57.120 and we're going to get
01:10:58.580 down to what's causing
01:10:59.960 this and I thought to
01:11:00.800 myself okay a I'm not
01:11:03.380 sure that that is an
01:11:04.860 explosion you know when
01:11:06.780 you in the 1920s there
01:11:08.760 was a resurgence of the
01:11:10.060 Klan I still think what
01:11:12.280 is it Bob Fred the guy
01:11:15.640 who called about the
01:11:16.920 Chinese or the Asian
01:11:18.480 about an hour ago I
01:11:19.980 mean I just don't think
01:11:21.240 it's that big of a of a
01:11:22.900 deal however we should
01:11:24.900 always be aware of it but
01:11:27.580 when you look at what's
01:11:31.060 causing it I don't know I
01:11:33.360 think there's a lot of
01:11:34.280 Americans who are normal
01:11:36.580 don't hate anybody and
01:11:38.860 they keep hearing on the
01:11:40.280 news from everyone how
01:11:41.820 bad white people are and
01:11:43.280 you don't have a place and
01:11:44.400 we can't have another
01:11:45.360 white president who
01:11:46.620 actually believe in the
01:11:47.880 Martin Luther King judge
01:11:48.820 me by the content of my
01:11:49.980 character not the color of
01:11:52.060 my skin and they're seeing
01:11:53.780 this happen and they're
01:11:54.740 getting backed into a
01:11:55.800 corner because no one's
01:11:57.140 standing up when that
01:11:58.640 happens in a society and I
01:12:00.340 warned against it in 2008
01:12:02.540 this causes extremes to rise
01:12:06.220 up because the extreme
01:12:08.020 eventually you're standing
01:12:10.120 with these people and
01:12:11.240 they're the only one that
01:12:13.200 is saying anything and
01:12:15.240 they're saying things like
01:12:16.360 you know what that's not
01:12:17.520 right we don't agree with
01:12:18.800 that and then they say a
01:12:20.040 bunch of other stuff
01:12:20.820 that's bat crap crazy but
01:12:23.940 you don't have anybody that
01:12:25.240 in society that's even
01:12:26.800 saying hey that's not
01:12:28.420 right and so you kind of
01:12:29.840 find yourself alone in a
01:12:31.040 room when you're like okay
01:12:31.900 I don't agree with these
01:12:32.580 guys on anything else but
01:12:33.560 they're the only one saying
01:12:34.700 this one thing I think the
01:12:36.680 left feels this way too I
01:12:38.260 think like the moderate
01:12:39.380 the moderate a lot of the
01:12:41.280 moderate Democrats feel
01:12:42.520 that way they feel where
01:12:44.340 are they they can't say
01:12:46.200 anything they exist for
01:12:48.340 sure they definitely do I
01:12:50.040 think I I don't I don't
01:12:52.280 know I don't even know
01:12:53.980 where I stand because as
01:12:55.420 we know I just woke up in
01:12:56.720 2013 learning about America
01:13:00.520 I'm like there's a culture
01:13:02.080 wait what I've been reading
01:13:05.200 um Breitbart's autobiography
01:13:07.440 because people keep telling
01:13:08.700 me they're like you need to
01:13:09.920 read this you kind of remind
01:13:11.880 me he had the same path and
01:13:13.380 then I was joking with a
01:13:15.180 friend and and or I was
01:13:16.660 talking to a friend and he's
01:13:17.700 like have you been
01:13:18.400 liquefying red pills and
01:13:19.900 injecting them like I think
01:13:22.940 Andrew's like radicalizing me
01:13:24.780 from beyond the grave there's a
01:13:28.620 lot I see what his
01:13:30.940 perspective is though because
01:13:32.160 he was in LA and I do think
01:13:34.260 a lot of it has to do with
01:13:35.320 where you are culturally so
01:13:37.740 where you're living so if I
01:13:39.760 live somewhere like here maybe
01:13:41.000 I wouldn't be feeling so much
01:13:43.580 pressure to conform I live in
01:13:48.400 like ground zero we found that
01:13:51.140 living in New York and I and
01:13:52.500 there's a there's a good thing
01:13:53.680 and a bad thing about it because
01:13:55.640 I was living in New York and
01:13:56.680 literally my my children
01:13:58.420 couldn't walk with me in the
01:13:59.480 street my family was called
01:14:02.480 names they they were constantly
01:14:04.580 getting spit on I mean it's
01:14:05.960 really it was bad in New York
01:14:07.820 finally had to just leave and
01:14:10.060 come to Texas and it was such a
01:14:12.180 relief to be here but at the
01:14:13.880 same time there is something
01:14:16.600 that keeps you sharp by being in
01:14:19.440 the belly of the beast right
01:14:20.640 you're you're and I think a lot
01:14:22.560 of people who are not around
01:14:24.260 radicals or I give this to
01:14:26.040 people like in San Francisco
01:14:27.360 who are on you know who vote
01:14:29.820 Democrat but you're in San
01:14:31.060 Francisco you're in this pool
01:14:34.280 where generally everybody agrees
01:14:36.900 with you you're not sharp you
01:14:38.880 can't defend you don't know what
01:14:40.360 you really believe because you've
01:14:42.000 never been pushed up the up to
01:14:43.440 the wall and said so you really
01:14:46.540 believe that really that's who you
01:14:48.560 are and had to pay a price and so
01:14:50.900 you've actually examined yourself
01:14:53.060 and went wait a minute you know I
01:14:54.820 remember when I stew remembers this
01:14:57.020 too when I when I thought I could
01:15:00.460 get killed for this this is 2006 or
01:15:03.500 seven I could get killed somebody
01:15:05.920 will come up in the street and kill
01:15:07.560 me so I think I want to really
01:15:12.080 believe in the things that I'm saying
01:15:14.520 so I don't die for it was a joke I
01:15:19.120 didn't think that through
01:15:21.060 that's gonna that's gonna be how I
01:15:22.640 die by the way that will
01:15:25.160 definitely be my it was a joke I'm
01:15:28.920 kidding wait a minute if you might
01:15:32.140 be right I'm not sure it's kind of
01:15:36.820 bad it's kind of yeah that's that is
01:15:39.120 the thing that I joke about getting
01:15:41.240 milkshaked in LA I'm not a big enough
01:15:43.280 deal or nobody knows me but if I did
01:15:46.120 trend on Twitter I might get
01:15:49.240 milkshaked you know in my it's not
01:15:52.340 out of the realm of possibility would
01:15:54.580 it be okay for us to milkshake you
01:15:57.560 just so you know what it's like so
01:16:00.060 you're like I'm not afraid anymore I've
01:16:02.240 already been milkshaked by it's just it
01:16:05.100 it does keep you sharp it does
01:16:07.100 definitely it it is um it's more the
01:16:12.000 way people just talk and this is what
01:16:14.560 I've been noticing just the the way
01:16:16.940 they it's such a insidious form of
01:16:20.260 forcing kind of compliance with the
01:16:24.640 ideology is just talking as if
01:16:27.320 everyone agrees with you so if a
01:16:30.640 conservative or even a moderate
01:16:32.640 leftist or even a moderate Democrat or
01:16:36.260 center-right said anything it would be
01:16:39.360 crickets in a party in LA or in any
01:16:42.140 kind of social engagement and everyone
01:16:44.440 else can just go on there you know
01:16:46.180 crazy anti-Trump rants and there and
01:16:49.640 even in like 12-step places where you're
01:16:52.060 supposed to be safe from that it's just
01:16:54.480 this automatic implied everyone thinks
01:16:59.060 like me and so of course if you don't
01:17:01.020 you're just going to be quiet if people
01:17:03.200 are just assuming that everyone in the
01:17:05.160 group group think but group think is
01:17:08.380 it's so I think moving a lot it's it's
01:17:12.160 so terrifying it's like I've always hated
01:17:14.800 clicks and so I don't think it's um I
01:17:18.220 don't think it's moving a lot I think
01:17:21.680 well let me take a break and then can
01:17:23.460 we come back and talk about that because
01:17:24.900 I um yeah we'll talk about it in a
01:17:28.060 minute stand by uh make sure uh
01:17:30.660 Bridget Phetasy uh is uh trending on
01:17:33.660 Twitter you know our audience is so
01:17:36.180 nice they'll probably be like Glenn
01:17:37.740 that's not nice we're not gonna do
01:17:39.300 that trust me you should um all right
01:17:42.820 our sponsor this half hour Delta
01:17:44.140 Defense July 4th is a reminder of all
01:17:46.360 the incredible sacrifices our forefathers
01:17:48.420 made in this country um here's a
01:17:51.360 reason she should be uh milkshaked she
01:17:53.480 was on a show where they were giving
01:17:54.640 away guns for 4th of July that's right
01:17:57.360 uh the USCCA the United States
01:18:00.700 Concealed Carry Association helps law
01:18:02.980 abiding citizens like you and me God
01:18:05.120 forbid if we ever have to use our gun
01:18:07.260 to protect our family they offer expert
01:18:09.260 training education self-defense for
01:18:11.700 legal protection let me tell you
01:18:14.060 something the bad guy standing in front
01:18:16.180 of you and God forbid he's gonna do you
01:18:19.100 harm and you feel your life is
01:18:20.440 threatened and you have to use your gun
01:18:21.980 you're through the first hurdle now the
01:18:24.400 bad guys now the bad guys with the
01:18:26.520 briefcase uh shows up uh and uh they're
01:18:30.280 going to make sure that you never see
01:18:32.560 the light of day again that's what the
01:18:34.560 UC the USCCA helps to stop and right now
01:18:38.040 they're giving one thousand seven hundred
01:18:40.100 and seventy six dollars away for guns
01:18:42.540 ammo and gear it's called the 4th of
01:18:45.120 July freedom giveaway yes proud to be

01:18:52.260 uh text Beck to 87222 the word B-E-C-K
01:18:57.360 Beck to 87222 they're going to draw on
01:19:00.740 July 5th so you have to do it now you get
01:19:02.980 two chances right now if you just text the
01:19:05.520 word Beck to 87222
01:19:07.880 I like that wow
01:19:12.140 yes following your dad's footsteps who we
01:19:19.740 found out was either a Russian spy or an
01:19:22.920 American spy which one was he or a double
01:19:25.280 agent or double agent which which which
01:19:27.960 one do you think I don't know you know
01:19:30.000 you come on you had to have thought about
01:19:31.500 this late at night just going not even
01:19:33.280 late at night you know
01:19:34.320 and your dad you've talked to your dad
01:19:40.780 and said yeah dad you sound master like
01:19:43.300 it's a funny story and then it's just
01:19:45.100 never answers the question that's what a
01:19:47.700 spy does so do you think he was working
01:19:49.860 for our government or do you think he
01:19:51.320 was working for their government I
01:19:52.480 really don't know I think I don't know
01:19:55.620 really I don't I so you grew up in the
01:19:59.540 like the show the Americans where dad's a
01:20:02.900 travel agent all of a sudden he's I've
01:20:05.240 got to go meet some clients in Moscow I'm
01:20:08.580 gonna get like scooted off in some black
01:20:11.440 car when I walk out of here you'll never
01:20:13.820 see me again
01:20:14.840 well that could be we wouldn't know
01:20:18.440 exactly who did that to you if that
01:20:20.180 happened
01:20:21.120 it could be so many people it could be
01:20:24.260 more with Bridget Phetasy coming up in
01:20:27.380 just a second
01:20:28.060 standby for that we're gonna talk a
01:20:31.480 little bit about you know what what
01:20:34.340 happened in Portland but also the
01:20:36.520 elections
01:20:37.280 too has some new poll numbers that are
01:20:39.380 out over the weekend we'll talk about
01:20:41.660 that all coming up next hour
01:20:42.980 thank you very much I want to talk to
01:20:49.020 you about Patriot Mobile Patriot Mobile
01:20:50.500 is a company that is not taking your
01:20:53.520 money and giving it to radicals on the
01:20:56.580 left if you don't agree with Planned
01:20:58.480 Parenthood you shouldn't be you know
01:21:00.660 using AT&T and Sprint and some of these
01:21:03.200 others you don't agree with La Raza you
01:21:05.860 shouldn't be using those big cell phone
01:21:07.480 companies because they have board
01:21:08.680 members on from those institutions and
01:21:12.540 they give millions and millions of
01:21:14.680 dollars because they take a percentage
01:21:17.020 of their profits and give it to the
01:21:19.020 things that they believe in and that's
01:21:20.380 great they can do that I don't want to
01:21:21.980 fund that
01:21:22.540 so I need a great cell service that
01:21:25.580 does not give you know any of their
01:21:28.020 money to causes that I you know I'm
01:21:30.200 working against every time I write a
01:21:32.460 check I can actually write a check to
01:21:34.880 things that protect freedom of speech
01:21:37.220 Patriot Mobile has already done about
01:21:39.720 two million dollars in the last I don't
01:21:41.220 know a couple of years and they're just
01:21:43.220 getting started on freedom of speech
01:21:45.240 that's part of their profits that they
01:21:48.120 do I just want great cell service okay
01:21:50.400 and I don't want to fund things that I
01:21:52.520 disagree with so get a free month of

01:22:19.360 I want to start with some of the new
01:22:27.800 poll numbers that are out Stu will have
01:22:30.740 those after the debate looks like Biden
01:22:34.800 actually went down 10 points I want to
01:22:37.580 know where is Marianne Williamson in the
01:22:39.920 poll I want Marianne Williamson to stay
01:22:43.140 in every single debate I I actually would
01:22:46.140 love for would you pay money to see a
01:22:48.920 debate between Marianne Williamson and
01:22:51.220 Donald Trump that's I mean that that is
01:22:54.200 that's a that's a prize fight right there
01:22:57.680 we'll talk about that in one minute
01:23:00.520 this is the Glenn Beck program
01:23:03.460 since Al Gore invented the internet
01:23:08.200 cybersecurity has been a constant battle
01:23:10.800 between criminals and consumers
01:23:12.340 unfortunately the cyber criminals seem to
01:23:14.940 be one step ahead of the technology made
01:23:16.980 to protect you and me that's why
01:23:18.580 there's Norton.com

01:24:10.080 slash VPN that's Norton.com slash VPN
01:24:13.360 so Bridget Phetasy is joining us she is
01:24:24.800 trying like never before to not trend on
01:24:29.840 Twitter she is somebody who thought she
01:24:32.760 was a lefty and then woke up in 2013
01:24:35.080 and went wait a minute I don't think
01:24:38.780 those are the things I agree with but
01:24:40.960 I'm not sure what I do agree with and
01:24:44.600 face it you're like Dave Rubin I'm just
01:24:47.540 the little last soul out in the
01:24:49.120 wilderness you're like Dave Rubin I
01:24:51.640 looked at Dave Rubin one time and he was
01:24:54.900 talking about as early on in his journey
01:24:56.900 and I looked at him and I said oh you
01:24:59.280 will be ours I don't know if I have a
01:25:03.900 choice anymore but it is it is really
01:25:08.040 good that's why you don't have to sell
01:25:11.280 people on this once they have the
01:25:13.260 awakening that you had they start to
01:25:16.000 ask questions and when you start to ask
01:25:17.820 questions and you really want to know
01:25:19.680 the truth it just all falls apart every
01:25:22.360 just about everything I mean it's really
01:25:24.020 like the matrix it just all of a sudden
01:25:26.020 you're like you don't see those guys
01:25:27.980 in the slow-motion bullets it is
01:25:29.460 appropriate that it's the red pill and
01:25:31.400 the blue pill that whole idea yeah
01:25:34.020 let's go over some of the debate
01:25:36.620 numbers do yeah so you know it's
01:25:40.520 interesting to see these debates they're
01:25:41.600 early on right and they could very
01:25:43.480 easily come and go these big moments
01:25:45.680 that the media obsesses about very
01:25:47.680 easily could come and go there was a
01:25:49.120 couple things though that happened in
01:25:50.300 the debate I think actually made a
01:25:51.320 difference so what 538 did was which
01:25:53.920 was pretty interesting was basically
01:25:56.500 pull a bunch of people through a
01:25:58.560 polling firm before the debates then
01:26:00.760 pull them again after the first one
01:26:02.840 and then pull them again after the
01:26:04.040 second one to see where people sort of
01:26:05.860 switch so it's a lot of the same it's
01:26:07.380 the same people kind of giving I always
01:26:09.160 think that's an interesting more
01:26:10.180 interesting way of polling because you
01:26:12.080 never know when you're reaching out to
01:26:13.680 different people they may have had
01:26:15.060 that opinion the entire time these are
01:26:16.580 the same people and kind of how they
01:26:18.080 moved throughout the debates and you
01:26:19.540 pointed this out Glenn Joe Biden had a
01:26:21.660 significant decrease among this group
01:26:24.940 before the debates they were at 40 he
01:26:26.940 was at 41.5 percent which is pretty
01:26:29.540 high by the way for a Biden poll that's
01:26:31.940 a you know that he did very well on that
01:26:33.640 one and then dropped off to 35 percent
01:26:36.440 after the first debate which he was not
01:26:37.940 in right
01:26:38.540 I think it's like you know you it's
01:26:43.960 what's in front of you right you see
01:26:46.000 how fluid people are on these things
01:26:47.860 like I'm with Biden but you know
01:26:49.280 Elizabeth Warren looked good today so
01:26:50.860 now I'm with Warren right so she he
01:26:53.180 went from 41.5 percent down to 35
01:26:55.400 percent after the first debate the
01:26:57.440 second debate he was in and he went
01:26:58.880 down again
01:26:59.540 for good reason to 31.5 percent now
01:27:03.500 31.5 percent is still a major lead this
01:27:06.740 is not a it's not a bad position to be
01:27:09.000 in and I think the thing with Biden is
01:27:11.100 he can take a couple of of stinkers like
01:27:15.080 he can have a couple of bad days and
01:27:16.840 still win this nomination he just can't
01:27:19.340 constantly be in that state right like
01:27:22.240 you you know you you can so you're
01:27:24.380 saying it would be bad if next debate
01:27:26.160 he was down to 21 yeah okay I just I
01:27:28.760 want to make sure I follow and I mean
01:27:30.300 more more specifically his performance
01:27:32.440 level though it's not it's not just
01:27:33.660 people will move away from him if they
01:27:35.620 see him as too old if he can't if he
01:27:38.040 keeps flubbing his lines like what was
01:27:39.860 the thing he said what was his gun
01:27:41.080 policy Glenn he's he was all about for
01:27:43.360 he was the first person who was able to
01:27:45.300 ban the clips in the guns I was like I
01:27:48.080 don't what do you mean you ban the
01:27:49.580 clips in the guns there are no clips
01:27:51.700 in the what is happening so he's kind
01:27:54.900 of he's had a he's had a bunch of those
01:27:56.520 moments he's an imprecise speaker as
01:27:58.420 he's always been oh yeah but that's
01:28:00.480 different than looking like the world's
01:28:03.200 moving a little too fast for you and I
01:28:05.400 think that's what I I'd like to hear
01:28:07.520 your point of view Bridget I think he
01:28:09.920 looked old out of touch I think Kamala
01:28:13.420 just killed him did you even watch the
01:28:17.100 debate yeah you could tell I'm like oh
01:28:20.020 right I didn't watch them good for you
01:28:23.820 we've been telling our audience don't
01:28:25.940 watch the debates that's what you pay us
01:28:27.560 for I have family in town to be fair and
01:28:30.240 we went to the desert and she's the one
01:28:33.280 who didn't know who you are so not the
01:28:35.800 most political member of my family but I
01:28:38.800 did you know you hear I hear I'm on
01:28:40.980 Twitter so I heard a lot about it and
01:28:42.900 it did seem like I guess he felt like
01:28:45.440 he wasn't prepared it's did he say
01:28:47.560 something he was upset that he felt
01:28:49.100 like he wasn't prepared well he wasn't
01:28:50.700 prepared for something he should have
01:28:51.920 been prepared for he knew that Kamala
01:28:54.500 Harris was going to come out of
01:28:55.760 somebody was going to come at him and
01:28:56.940 go hey dude you know that segregationist
01:28:59.660 thing you said you were hanging out with
01:29:01.440 them and we'd all have dinner together
01:29:02.820 probably not a good idea so he he wasn't
01:29:06.520 prepared and Kamala came out and she was
01:29:09.220 like she's great storyteller she's a
01:29:11.400 prosecutor and she came out and she
01:29:13.480 said you know that really hurt because
01:29:16.360 there was this little girl in LA that
01:29:18.740 had to go to school and it was me and he
01:29:22.640 just kind of looked like
01:29:23.720 my pants was similar to that it did not
01:29:32.820 look good it did not look good and I
01:29:34.620 think there's that argument if you want
01:29:35.640 to make the pro-biden argument it's you
01:29:37.380 know the guy's a little rusty and he
01:29:38.620 hasn't hasn't done one of these things
01:29:39.700 in a while he's not been campaigning
01:29:40.980 like these other people I also think
01:29:42.620 he's the un he's the unnamed Democrat
01:29:45.080 whenever you look at these polls
01:29:46.560 whoever's in office they'll come and
01:29:48.760 poll you know Barack Obama running
01:29:51.480 against the unnamed Republican and the
01:29:54.600 unnamed Republican wins well that's
01:29:56.780 because everybody's like well if I had my
01:29:59.140 guy is Republican in there he would be
01:30:00.860 like this and then once you name the
01:30:02.480 Republican you're like okay not that
01:30:04.340 guy that's why all these polls right
01:30:06.160 now showing what Trump is doing
01:30:07.700 against really any of these people
01:30:08.900 doesn't make a difference because
01:30:09.860 once it's one-on-one he's gonna do
01:30:11.920 what he can to define his opponent
01:30:13.920 and strategy against Marianne
01:30:15.920 Williamson that's what I yeah that's a
01:30:17.560 good point that's a good point there's
01:30:19.080 nothing you're gonna compete with
01:30:20.260 magic or love magic and love there's no
01:30:23.560 there's no way to be I'm voting for
01:30:25.160 Marianne you're already in she's got a
01:30:28.380 course in miracles miracles can happen
01:30:30.260 should I skip to Marianne in the polls
01:30:31.600 here yeah I want to see if she is in
01:30:33.660 here hold on let's see if she go up did
01:30:35.720 she go and Williamson started the
01:30:37.300 debates at 0.2 percent okay then after
01:30:40.780 the first debate she did fall to 0
01:30:43.000 percent no really lost point to after
01:30:45.880 the second debate came right back up to
01:30:47.920 0.2 percent there she is she held her
01:30:50.460 she's harnessing harnessing love yeah
01:30:52.520 not a lot of people it's sad that after
01:30:54.420 she was talking about love though she
01:30:56.180 went down
01:30:56.920 Americans are like no she wasn't in no
01:31:00.080 no no she wasn't in the first debate
01:31:01.800 right she wasn't in the first debate so
01:31:04.040 she wasn't she wasn't she was not at
01:31:06.700 the kiddie stage she was she just fell
01:31:08.820 because you know yeah because she
01:31:10.160 wasn't there no one knew she was
01:31:11.440 everybody's like I don't know who
01:31:12.860 Marianne Williamson is we talked about
01:31:14.820 Kamala Harris and if you think you
01:31:16.200 know these little debates they don't
01:31:18.760 necessarily like you have a great
01:31:20.200 moment in a debate and you're all of
01:31:21.260 a sudden winning right but it does
01:31:23.080 make a big difference Kamala Harris
01:31:24.400 started at about eight percent before
01:31:26.060 the debates she wasn't in the first
01:31:27.680 one and went down to about six percent
01:31:29.100 after her big moment against Joe
01:31:30.960 Biden up to sixteen point six wow so I
01:31:33.700 mean she more than doubled her initial
01:31:36.020 support levels I think she's the most
01:31:38.500 dangerous one she if you're if you're
01:31:40.700 rooting for Trump she's the one I
01:31:42.780 think could win my friend on Twitter
01:31:44.920 has this prophecy and he said that he
01:31:47.680 believes Kamala will secure the
01:31:49.580 nomination she will win the popular
01:31:51.880 vote and Trump will increase the
01:31:54.540 electoral and everyone on the left
01:31:56.560 will melt down
01:31:57.320 that's a fun that's a fun one yeah
01:32:00.660 because I will say you know the thing
01:32:02.680 about these the reason why this is so
01:32:04.740 beneficial to a Republican candidate you
01:32:08.120 have 24 25 candidates all on the left all
01:32:12.080 falling over each other to get further
01:32:14.020 left than the other people so Kamala
01:32:16.120 Harris taking some extreme positions
01:32:18.140 in her in her debate you know you know
01:32:21.520 like her the outline of her policy
01:32:24.120 structure for debates is not something
01:32:26.080 that's been focused on because you know
01:32:27.600 it's the everyone kind of agrees
01:32:29.060 they're all on the left her going
01:32:31.140 further and further left however hurts
01:32:33.020 her when she comes back to the general
01:32:34.480 right because here you know one of the
01:32:37.040 things she took heat from and is taking
01:32:39.200 heat from other Democrats is her efforts
01:32:41.180 as a prosecutor where she put a lot of
01:32:42.820 people she at times appeared to be tough
01:32:45.180 on crime well that hurts her now she
01:32:47.620 gets the nomination she's going to be
01:32:48.900 putting it in her own commercials
01:32:50.100 right because the right will say well
01:32:52.160 at least she's tough on crime there it's
01:32:54.840 so it's so bizarre that the way this
01:32:56.580 happens if she goes too far left
01:32:59.100 however it's going to be impossible to
01:33:01.200 bring it back to the middle at all and
01:33:03.020 I'm just waiting to see who's the who's
01:33:04.840 the first one was like you know what I
01:33:07.020 think we misunderstood Pol Pot some of
01:33:10.920 the people that he killed well you
01:33:12.740 had belonged in the field de Blasio's
01:33:14.560 coding quoting Che I know I saw that in
01:33:18.140 Miami too of all places he apologized
01:33:19.840 all right yeah he said it was a mistake
01:33:22.220 he didn't know I'm sure his master's is
01:33:24.380 in Latin American studies but how would
01:33:26.520 he have any idea I had no idea Che
01:33:30.100 other candidates so Bernie went 14 to
01:33:37.520 17 so he actually went up a little bit
01:33:39.200 which is kind of surprised me and that I
01:33:41.080 did not think he did much of anything I
01:33:42.560 mean he just does the same performance
01:33:43.840 every single time Buddha judge actually
01:33:46.760 went down which was I thought surprising
01:33:49.040 he announced huge fundraising numbers
01:33:51.120 today 25 million dollars which is going
01:33:53.440 to be in the top two or three for sure for
01:33:56.180 this quarter but he started about seven
01:33:58.220 and went down to about five these are all
01:33:59.840 minor differences Booker went down
01:34:02.120 slightly Beto went down by about half
01:34:04.660 from a four to two is just a zero man
01:34:08.220 I'm so happy as a Texan I am so happy
01:34:11.760 the rest of the country is seeing this
01:34:13.400 now because we've all been saying the
01:34:15.640 whole time this guy's a zero he doesn't
01:34:18.240 know what he's talking about he has no
01:34:20.320 soul he doesn't care I said on Twitter
01:34:23.120 that Beto is the guy that leaves his
01:34:25.200 girlfriend because he has to go find
01:34:26.800 himself with maybe Marianne Williamson
01:34:34.460 president vice president that is great
01:34:38.100 yeah I would have a vice president that
01:34:39.960 does has no idea who he is and through
01:34:42.720 the course of miracles he's gonna find
01:34:44.620 himself and he's gonna be a great vice
01:34:47.120 can we turn this into the reality show
01:34:49.400 that's great that's great the other one
01:34:52.280 who stood out in that first debate was
01:34:53.480 Castro remember he had a pretty good
01:34:55.020 debate the first time but again he went
01:34:56.540 from 0.7 percent to 2.1 after his
01:34:59.980 debate then down to 1.7 percent what
01:35:02.380 about Warren Warren went down slightly
01:35:05.480 started sorry up slightly 12.6 percent to
01:35:08.240 14 so it that I thought she did really
01:35:12.440 pretty well for the in that first debate
01:35:14.660 but I mean that's I thought she did what
01:35:17.220 she had to do which was basically not
01:35:19.320 really stand out don't make any huge
01:35:21.200 mistakes you don't need a huge moment if
01:35:23.020 you're Elizabeth Warren against nine
01:35:24.760 candidates that no one knows right you
01:35:26.760 need to do that if you're like Kamala
01:35:28.580 Harris needed that to stand out like
01:35:30.340 because it could have been a Bernie Biden
01:35:32.040 back and forth between the top two people
01:35:33.860 she was able to make it hers and just
01:35:36.520 shows how stupid Sanders was for not
01:35:38.420 trying to do the same thing because
01:35:39.440 basically she was able to steal that
01:35:42.020 entire night by just challenging Biden
01:35:44.060 the first night no one did you know the
01:35:46.500 first night no one did and the second
01:35:47.680 night really it was it was only Kamala
01:35:50.880 Harris and Bennett and Bennett like no
01:35:53.120 one knows who Bennett is he did someone
01:35:55.880 pointed out that he looked like the
01:35:57.960 person that Saturday Night Live would
01:35:59.640 put on as a generic senator and I really
01:36:02.760 that connected with me that kind of I
01:36:04.880 spent most the night going who the hell
01:36:06.460 is this put the name on the screen I
01:36:07.940 don't know who the hell this is and
01:36:09.300 you're in this business I know I saw
01:36:11.060 Marianne will no not Marianne
01:36:12.700 Williamson it was uh uh who is the one
01:36:16.320 with uh Pepe Le Pew gray streak uh what's
01:36:19.740 her oh Tulsi Gabbard Tulsi Gabbard yes
01:36:21.440 and I'm looking at her and all I could
01:36:22.820 see is the gray streak and I'm like I
01:36:24.300 don't remember seeing anybody with a
01:36:25.520 gray streak who the hell is that their
01:36:26.920 name came out I'm like that's who you
01:36:29.020 are really huh I've heard so much talk
01:36:31.940 about you and uh no but which one was
01:36:35.980 Yang he's night two well he only talked
01:36:38.160 for about nine seconds so you may yeah
01:36:39.800 but he was on night two okay yeah he
01:36:42.000 unfortunately did not get any questions
01:36:44.200 he said his microphone was all I heard
01:36:46.040 that I don't know if that's true they
01:36:47.200 said that it wasn't but uh that's what
01:36:48.800 Yang said and it it's tough you got to
01:36:50.600 be if you're an Andrew Yang that most of
01:36:53.660 the country has never heard of and then
01:36:56.300 you invite them to these debates and they
01:36:57.680 stand on the end and never get a
01:36:59.780 question asked it's it's really a
01:37:02.040 disservice I mean if you're gonna invite
01:37:03.340 them you have to ask them some
01:37:04.260 questions but I was I was at a I had a
01:37:05.880 birthday party for one of my kids
01:37:07.580 friends this weekend you know you're
01:37:08.760 sitting around talking to the the dads
01:37:11.020 and they're you know they of course
01:37:12.460 bring up politics because they think
01:37:13.580 that's what I want to talk about
01:37:14.420 must have been lost in the mail
01:37:15.860 yes it was darn this that's why I'm
01:37:20.280 I'm supporting someone who's going to
01:37:21.500 remake the postal industry every time
01:37:23.820 there's an event every time every
01:37:25.160 year strangely not invited but I was
01:37:29.620 talking about the debates and I
01:37:30.440 started going on about you know
01:37:31.400 Kamala Harris and I was blabbing on
01:37:33.140 about halfway through it he just
01:37:34.200 looks at me goes is that the lady
01:37:35.740 from California and I was like this
01:37:37.900 is where America is like they've
01:37:39.220 even heard of these people yeah no no
01:37:42.340 idea especially when it comes to just
01:37:44.440 the differences between them yeah you
01:37:46.500 have to be an hardcore activist in
01:37:48.680 like Iowa to care at all at this
01:37:50.980 point yeah and I you know like a lot
01:37:53.120 of us sit here and obsess about this
01:37:54.800 stuff you realize it's just it's just
01:37:56.480 not who America is no they're too
01:37:58.640 busy trying to make a living and
01:38:00.580 don't taking kids to birthday
01:38:01.880 parties yes exactly summer and not
01:38:03.840 taking their kids to birthday parties
01:38:06.280 you know that also happens all right
01:38:08.800 really didn't get it I mean because
01:38:10.040 it more in the invitation was yeah
01:38:12.440 sure I was sent more in just a second
01:38:14.380 oh I found it on the floor of my car
01:38:16.160 American Financing Corporation
01:38:17.900 NMLS 1-8-2-3-3-4
01:38:19.980 www.nmlsconsumeraccess.org
01:38:23.560 Federal Reserve has indicated it
01:38:25.960 intends to keep interest rates low for
01:38:28.000 the rest of the year so right now we
01:38:29.480 have an opportunity to get our
01:38:30.480 financial house in order and set our
01:38:32.920 course for our family's future history
01:38:35.540 tells us last night we became the
01:38:38.800 longest period of recovery in our
01:38:43.200 nation's history as of midnight last
01:38:45.280 night now seeing that we're breaking
01:38:48.340 all kinds of records at some point it's
01:38:52.220 going to go the other direction so
01:38:54.940 don't buy into all of the hype don't
01:38:56.660 buy something that you can't afford
01:38:58.360 the rates aren't going to last forever
01:39:00.620 take advantage right now and take
01:39:03.780 care of your primary need of a of a
01:39:05.820 house that you want a house that you
01:39:07.420 can afford lock in those rates maybe a
01:39:10.220 consolidation loan to get rid of all
01:39:12.140 of the high interest debt that you have
01:39:13.920 afford the monthly mortgage payment on
01:39:16.980 the house that you want and do it with
01:39:18.920 the people that are going to make sure
01:39:20.360 that you're not getting yourself roped
01:39:22.600 into some sort of a deal with a bank
01:39:24.580 that they're going to screw you in the
01:39:26.520 end when things fall apart
01:39:27.700 americanfinancing.net they work for you
01:39:30.280 not for the banks they are not taking
01:39:32.260 commission from the banks they don't get
01:39:34.820 any bonuses from the banks they work for
01:39:37.180 you americanfinancing.net call them
01:39:39.620 now at 800-906-2440 that's 800-906-2440
01:39:45.340 it's americanfinancing.net 10 seconds station
01:39:49.360 id
01:39:49.660 so bridget she trending yet on twitter no
01:40:04.860 no she is but they spelled your name
01:40:07.080 wrong so don't worry okay you'll be fine
01:40:08.600 so um um bridget what was it that made
01:40:14.160 you finally go
01:40:15.300 oh i can't go there
01:40:18.460 i think it was just a combination of a lot
01:40:23.140 of things and by the way i don't even know
01:40:26.260 where i stand or who i'm voting for what
01:40:28.060 i'm doing um i was joking
01:40:30.080 i appreciate that i appreciate the fact
01:40:31.920 that you are you are open about this most
01:40:34.540 people are not open they're not willing
01:40:36.460 to say i don't know and then follow it
01:40:40.100 with but i am looking into things
01:40:42.500 yeah i am i i definitely you know
01:40:44.780 when i was on your podcast there was
01:40:46.500 we were joking about how little i know
01:40:48.600 and that's not going to be cute for very
01:40:50.900 long i have to do a little bit of
01:40:53.360 research and i would love to just take
01:40:56.680 a year off and read i think and i'm not
01:40:59.060 in that position where i can do that so
01:41:01.280 i have to try and inform myself as
01:41:04.040 quickly as i can but then every time i
01:41:06.020 kind of come where i feel i'll land in a
01:41:11.580 place where i'm like okay there is a
01:41:14.260 moderate place for me on the left and
01:41:16.380 then something like portland happens and
01:41:19.180 and then i see the way that the
01:41:20.680 journalists respond and that's those are
01:41:23.460 the moments where i'm like oh no no we
01:41:25.160 can't this is this is the thing that
01:41:27.380 kind of pushed me out was seeing this
01:41:30.880 intolerance to diversity of thought and
01:41:35.540 having um now this kind of escalating
01:41:39.560 idea that violence is okay as long as
01:41:43.280 you're fighting fascists and who gets to
01:41:46.920 determine who the fascists are it's
01:41:48.920 really just the mob essentially so that's
01:41:52.260 terrifying that and and i think too what
01:41:54.740 i've noticed and from i get tons of emails
01:41:58.600 about this from people who are like me
01:42:00.560 there's a lot of people like me who are
01:42:02.220 we're kind of apolitical now they woke up
01:42:05.340 in the culture wars are going on and and i
01:42:08.040 think when you get down to um the insanity
01:42:12.380 of trump and whatever the chaos in the
01:42:16.380 white house and like what the chaos of that
01:42:18.300 of that that all that and then the
01:42:22.180 fundamental kind of challenges to to our
01:42:26.960 ability to speak freely and say things
01:42:30.640 like boys and girls are different people
01:42:32.940 will pick the thing that they see as not
01:42:36.640 lasting they'll they'll go with trump i
01:42:39.660 think it's if they're they're backed into
01:42:41.440 that corner they're gonna say well
01:42:43.380 theoretically yeah trump isn't gonna be
01:42:46.360 emperor this will be over and i'll go with
01:42:48.920 something that is crazy for a short time
01:42:51.560 as opposed to something that is
01:42:53.900 fundamentally changing the way that
01:42:56.140 everything works everything works yeah
01:42:58.260 yeah they they i think that democrats and
01:43:00.960 i'd love to hear your opinion on why
01:43:02.380 they're doing this um the democrats are are
01:43:06.300 openly coming out and saying we want to
01:43:10.060 uh make large structural changes to our
01:43:15.900 economy the economic system the systems of
01:43:20.140 america and i think as long as the economy
01:43:22.300 is fine uh most people are gonna say oh
01:43:25.320 wait wait hold it i don't really even
01:43:27.820 understand right uh and right it plays
01:43:30.500 into exactly what you said back in just a
01:43:32.820 minute stand by
01:43:33.620 this is the glenbeck program so if you if
01:43:48.320 you've ever gotten uh jewelry uh for
01:43:50.940 christmas and disguised it by putting it in
01:43:53.080 a much bigger box or a uh a robin egg box
01:43:56.760 that's the thing i it kills me if you put
01:43:59.720 you can buy tiffany boxes online just buy
01:44:03.000 the boxes that's uh okay that's good

01:45:10.940 mercury studios we opened the doors
01:45:12.860 again i felt a little like willie wonka
01:45:14.620 opening up the back door welcoming the
01:45:16.920 first guests uh through uh the mercury
01:45:19.460 studios we did 12 score and three years
01:45:22.940 ago the unfinished promise of unity we have

01:45:35.880 lincoln's handwriting it's it's amazing to
01:45:38.960 sit there and look at these things and we
01:45:42.760 urge you to come and uh and and reflect on
01:45:46.920 what freedom really means and how freedom
01:45:49.600 sometimes is is hard fought and what is our
01:45:53.520 responsibility today you know you can talk
01:45:56.060 about oh our founders they were screwed up
01:45:58.060 they didn't do this they didn't do that
01:45:59.520 they they should have done more on slavery
01:46:01.620 okay that's cool we can debate that all day
01:46:04.200 long and we can look at it and we do in the
01:46:06.900 museum we show you uh the different things that
01:46:09.800 they were debating at the time uh but
01:46:12.440 shouldn't aren't we writing history ourself
01:46:15.960 today what is how's history 250 years from
01:46:19.700 now are people gonna go you know those people
01:46:22.700 in 2018 boy what was wrong with them i mean
01:46:26.460 they knew their phones were being made by
01:46:28.360 slaves in china they knew they knew that
01:46:31.460 north korea had actual concentration camps but
01:46:34.640 they didn't do anything about it what what
01:46:36.920 was wrong with them yeah they're probably
01:46:39.140 they're like us they're gonna say those
01:46:40.680 things so what are we doing today join us

01:47:32.860 part of you that's reluctant to be here
01:47:35.260 um that's a good question not reluctant i'm i it's always just
01:47:42.460 it's always um you know i'm projecting onto what
01:47:47.760 other people are going to think and say about it and that's not really
01:47:51.740 any of my business to be honest how have you
01:47:54.940 put up with this because you've been very open
01:47:57.340 about um and i want to talk to you about this at some point
01:48:00.460 you know you've had suicidal uh tendencies and
01:48:04.620 and uh i wrestle yeah you wrestle with the darkness yeah
01:48:08.540 yeah like many out there um and i know what that's like and i
01:48:14.540 know that when i mean you've just lost your um
01:48:21.020 identity you know really yeah you you've what you grew up thinking you were
01:48:26.720 you know you're not uh and and you've had some really good
01:48:32.400 friends and people that you respected really turn on you
01:48:35.880 how have you dealt with that personally
01:48:37.980 no one likes to be rejected you know that's and i think this is the danger
01:48:45.600 um and this is the reason i kind of keep screaming at the democrats
01:48:49.780 is that shaming people didn't work in 2016 why would it work now
01:48:55.440 and rejecting people because they might have questions or maybe don't believe
01:49:01.840 agree with everything in in lockstep
01:49:04.960 um i don't see how that's very effective i've dealt with it by um
01:49:11.920 i how have i dealt with it i feel like i'm actually kind of hiding a bit so i
01:49:21.040 don't even know that i am dealing with it i definitely
01:49:24.640 haven't been going on getting up and going on stage as much as i
01:49:29.680 want to be doing comedy because i i know that it's my own insecurity
01:49:36.160 around my peers that i know most of them
01:49:39.960 i know how most of them feel because i follow them on twitter and
01:49:43.960 a lot of them have unfollowed me on twitter because of
01:49:47.140 things i've been saying and comedians yeah
01:49:49.920 and rightfully you know that i'm not gonna like cry myself to sleep about that
01:49:53.660 that's their right and they
01:49:54.580 maybe just don't want to see that in their feed and
01:49:56.980 but these are people that were friends or and or at least
01:50:02.120 acquaintances so that and again that's not like uh i have to just get up and do
01:50:08.360 it and and what get milkshakes if that's the case
01:50:12.580 it's amazing to me how many comedians um who do we have on friday
01:50:17.080 stu
01:50:17.940 nick to paulo nick to paulo no i think oh he's so funny yeah he's so funny
01:50:21.720 i love it and he's like just he just sets the stage on fire yeah and he just
01:50:26.540 doesn't care yeah um and we were talking about that on
01:50:29.860 friday that comedians they're they're on the
01:50:35.300 four forefront they're on the they're on the
01:50:37.980 battlefield they're on the front line supposedly supposed to be
01:50:41.980 supposed to be and and should be the ones that are
01:50:45.400 pushing the culture uh and and uh and the counterculture you know
01:50:51.460 i i think he's very lenny bruce myself he goes out and he's
01:50:56.400 he's just he's saying everything that he knows
01:51:00.300 is not popular did you guys see the colin
01:51:03.740 quinn special on cnn no no it's great though oh it was so good but he jokes
01:51:10.520 about this on the special he said i know i don't know about you guys but i got
01:51:14.040 into comedy so i could maintain the status quo
01:51:16.700 and he's you can see that he's trying and i think it was so effective of him to
01:51:22.860 try and get that on cnn because he's so kind of like me
01:51:27.280 yeah people who are listening to our show um what is this cnn thing that he just did
01:51:31.920 oh yeah cnn is a network what is this what is this cnn that she speaks i
01:51:40.740 remember years ago there being a news place are they still in business
01:51:45.900 wow i appreciate that there's you know balance
01:51:49.660 yeah so he i think it was good of him to do that there because i feel like he's a
01:51:55.820 bit like and immediately you know he was getting getting piled on for saying such
01:52:00.980 blasphemous things it just amazes me how many people and this happens on both sides
01:52:07.220 we are not thinking we're not rooting ourselves in principles we're rooting
01:52:11.820 ourselves in tribes and so when that happens uh it's very easy just to drift
01:52:17.320 because you don't have any you don't have any navigation navigational stars to look
01:52:21.740 up to yeah and it's scary to not have a tribe when everybody is tribal yeah it's i understand
01:52:29.100 the appeal of tribes right and there is a well there's a reason there is you know through
01:52:34.440 like millions of years yeah no seriously you you're not going to make it if they kick you
01:52:40.320 out of the tribe you're going to get eaten by a dinosaur or a you know saber-toothed lion
01:52:44.900 and so you huddle together yeah and so when you're out and everybody else you see the
01:52:49.580 campfires at night and you're like you're just trying to spark a rock and you've never done it
01:52:53.700 before you're like i'm gonna get eaten tonight yeah tonight's the night i'm gone isn't jonah
01:52:58.800 goldberg the one who's always saying that you know tribalism is actually our more it's our default
01:53:04.000 it's kind of our our setting and that is the modern way we've been living is we're reverting actually
01:53:09.820 yes yes yeah i i definitely understand the i understand the instinct i have to always try to i it's
01:53:18.420 hard to and people like myself get attacked um you know for being like a dirty centrist or trying to
01:53:26.140 both sides everything and i think a lot what they underestimate is a lot of us are just trying to
01:53:32.060 figure it all out and then it's easy to when you're kind of taking hits from both sides it it is exhausting
01:53:40.400 and i can understand why it would the natural reaction would just be to like fall into a tribe
01:53:46.020 tribe and because well especially since there is no tribe in the middle there's no tribe and i don't
01:53:52.420 mean in the middle just for people who are like i don't i don't agree with either of you i don't
01:53:58.160 agree with everything correct from either of you correct right there are there are things that i could
01:54:02.820 pick and choose and go i yeah okay that makes sense and over here that makes sense um but i i'm not
01:54:08.560 allowed to have that conversation i'm not allowed to say well that piece makes sense but that piece what
01:54:15.400 they're saying here makes you know that that's that's true you're not allowed to have that and so
01:54:20.740 and both sides can become so militant i mean we've seen this with with uh some trump supporters
01:54:27.320 to where if you're not on fully the trump train like full mega yeah you're you're a dead person you
01:54:34.900 know they don't want to even talk to you and it's like what are you doing that's the same yeah what
01:54:39.500 are you doing that's what i was going to ask you too is that do you find that you have to um that
01:54:45.600 you get pushback if you say well oh maybe something you know when you call out the hypocrisy on the
01:54:51.460 right like when when you see everyone loves that yeah oh yeah it makes us very popular well i think
01:55:00.180 there's always been people who there's always been the people who just do talking points right that's
01:55:04.560 always been around and there's always been people who i think try to be thoughtful about what they're
01:55:09.040 doing and those people still exist today i i'm concerned that the thirst for that is is not
01:55:15.360 really around anymore like there's right there's not as much of a you know because i i always find
01:55:20.520 the person if i'm on twitter or i'm watching a show and the person is coming out i know what the issue
01:55:25.100 of the day is and if i can predict what they're going to say every single day there's no reason for
01:55:30.880 me to be there right right like there's no reason like i like going to hear someone say something
01:55:35.740 that's going to surprise me a little bit at least give me a little bit of a challenge in some way
01:55:39.380 like so however on the right uh it has been uh you're so alone usually in the right when the media
01:55:47.020 you're getting you know just hammered by the media especially before fox was around hammered by the media
01:55:54.420 and so you you really kind of listen to people over and over again who you know you knew exactly what
01:56:01.080 they were going to say right you did because there's nothing in your tank by the end of the
01:56:05.860 day yeah you know everything although i do think that it made the right better at new media because
01:56:12.460 you had to go to am radio you were basically yeah we have to be successful online yeah so there this
01:56:20.840 is where i think with um it just seems like the the left is a little trying to catch up a little bit
01:56:27.140 with the they which is so crazy losing yeah i know it's crazy because they were the ones silicon
01:56:33.240 valley they're the ones that have it we always felt like we were in the the dinosaur you know
01:56:38.760 dinosaur town and all of a sudden we're the ones that are good with memes we're the ones that are
01:56:45.000 i mean that's crazy we had tim you're winning the meme wars yeah well tim pool was on the other day
01:56:50.180 and he said that basically he's like yeah well i think you know i think that's the right is better at
01:56:54.100 the internet than the left and it's the same premise in michael malice's new book he has a lot of that
01:56:58.300 in there and it's like that to me is just like a stunning stunning statement like we are supposed
01:57:03.160 to be the ones that always lose those battles you know but it's because it's a wild west yes yeah
01:57:08.560 so you guys were like okay we can go stake our claim and do whatever we want and say whatever we
01:57:13.820 want and use it and when you have the mainstream media at your disposal you don't need to do that
01:57:19.600 right and and now we we left when i left even fox i mean one of the things we never said this at the
01:57:26.700 time but every day for a year i i looked at stew and i said we have got to get out of here this whole
01:57:32.660 thing meaning all media it's going to burn itself to the ground and i don't want to be a part of that
01:57:39.680 at all we started this you know way too early um but we we started this and it and it has it has um
01:57:50.240 you know it's put us in a pioneer sort of right position which you think who else was doing it it
01:57:57.400 was adam carolla but when we started doing this kind of when we started actually putting television
01:58:03.920 quality stuff it was major league baseball and i believe hbo was the only one that's doing it
01:58:11.960 uh-huh uh and there's a good reason for that it was called buffering
01:58:15.380 none of the freaking videos would load half the time oh yeah watch our big important special you're
01:58:21.260 not going to be able to watch it for a while yeah you'll get through it tell you what start
01:58:25.700 downloading it and then come back maybe wednesday and you'll be able to watch that special okay back

01:58:52.940 like two years on the in their testing of glass break because there's a difference between the sound
01:58:57.740 of a glass that you drop in the kitchen and a window pane and uh you know when they first started
01:59:02.580 doing it it was like uh yeah you don't want to send for police every time you drop a plate uh in the
01:59:09.100 kitchen they have really thought all of this stuff uh through it is all wireless you own the system it is
01:59:17.080 really inexpensive you're going to be so i'm being frank with you if you've ever had home security

01:59:56.100 so in portland over the weekend journalist andy no was uh beaten he's in the hospital for a brain bleed
02:00:05.300 uh today the mainstream media doesn't seem to care about it uh in fact they're they're still
02:00:11.020 supporting antifa here is the actual audio
02:00:13.720 they're spraying him i guess it's silly string but they also sprayed him with uh some sort of splash
02:00:29.200 some sort of toxic chemical on him um that might have just been a mcdonald's milkshake i'm i'm not
02:00:37.200 sure with like quick drying cement or something yeah yeah it's quick dry cement what'd you say
02:00:44.020 oh they don't know that though i don't think i mean for sure yeah no it has been reported right
02:00:49.280 we don't know uh so this is going on and there was another guy that was beaten with a crowbar just an
02:01:00.380 old guy walking down the street they found out that he was conservative leaning i guess and uh that's
02:01:07.020 not good enough so they beat him with a crowbar would you rather be uh hit with the concrete shake
02:01:12.200 and attacked or be described by your employer as elfin which one would you prefer because andy no
02:01:17.760 in the quillette article about in his defense it says andy no is a elfin soft-spoken man what does
02:01:24.760 that i mean he's short and lovable and gives them to strange children at certain times of the year
02:01:30.820 that's that's not what it is it's a very weird description yeah look for him in your chimney
02:01:35.640 wait a minute what our uh our thoughts and our prayers which both actually count uh go out to uh
02:01:45.320 andy no and and we'll have more of this discussion uh later uh and back here on radio tomorrow
02:01:53.720 tonight five o'clock on blaze tv thank you this is the glenbeck program
