00:03:01.580 Garrett Lewis with you in Fort Glenn Beck.
00:03:10.600 Happy New Year's Eve.
00:03:13.540 I am in Arizona.
00:03:15.760 It was 72 and sunny yesterday.
00:03:18.680 You should be jealous.
00:03:21.540 I'm normally on in afternoons on KFYI in Phoenix, KNST in Tucson.
00:03:26.040 And I'll be back to work there Thursday afternoon.
00:03:28.760 And I'll get one whopping day off tomorrow.
00:03:31.520 But, of course, with two kids and a wife, there's never really a day off.
00:03:36.300 Never really a day off.
00:03:37.900 So 2024 is about to come to a close.
00:03:40.920 Trump wins a big, giant election.
00:03:44.320 America pretty much gives the middle finger to all the leftist policies, including wokeness.
00:03:52.320 President Trump has said in the past, it's a great quote.
00:03:54.660 I play it on my show in Arizona all the time.
00:03:56.280 And everything woke turns to S.
00:03:59.480 We believe out the S.
00:04:00.640 It's one of the best things that President Trump has ever said.
00:04:05.200 And it's just utterly brilliant.
00:04:08.520 And we've seen what's happened, right?
00:04:10.080 We've seen what's happened.
00:04:11.740 So that's why I am kind of amazed at Costco.
00:04:18.340 Costco, you shop at Costco, I shop at Costco.
00:04:23.400 We'll see about that from now on.
00:04:27.260 Costco's board of directors is urging shareholders to vote against a proposal that would eliminate DEI.
00:04:37.240 So Costco's board wants to keep DEI.
00:04:45.600 Two words for you, Costco.
00:04:48.140 Bud Light.
00:04:49.800 Another word, Target.
00:04:51.560 If I recall, actually, Bud Light, in some Costco's around America, stopped selling Bud Light because nobody bought it.
00:05:00.240 Did they not see the billion-dollar hit to Anheuser-Busch?
00:05:05.600 Did they not see Target lose $9 billion in value with their wokeness and sick stuff of selling all kinds of crazy clothes, promoting the sex, trans, surgery, mutilation stuff to kids?
00:05:20.280 I mean, did you not see that stuff?
00:05:22.800 Everybody seems to be getting away from the woke stuff.
00:05:26.920 And all of a sudden, Costco's like, nope, hold our Bud Light.
00:05:30.540 We're going in.
00:05:31.620 What are you talking about?
00:05:32.400 What are you doing?
00:05:33.000 It's so stupid.
00:05:34.100 I mean, look, we belong, my family, we belong to Costco and Sam's Club.
00:05:39.740 And Sam's Club, of course, owned by Walmart.
00:05:41.500 And Walmart, they took the heat from Robbie Starbuck, who does an excellent job of using all of the leverage he has to pressure all kinds of companies, whether it was Nissan, Toyota, Walmart, Harley Davidson.
00:05:59.000 He tells them, listen, this is what you're doing.
00:06:04.140 You're promoting all these crazy things.
00:06:06.220 You're paying money to this.
00:06:07.260 You're forcing DEI training.
00:06:08.980 We're going to put it out there.
00:06:10.140 And now these big, giant corporations get the phone call from him.
00:06:14.480 And before he even says, I'm Robbie Starbuck, they're like, all right, we're done.
00:06:17.280 We're good.
00:06:17.820 We're not going to do that anymore.
00:06:19.360 And look, maybe part of it is some of these big shots at these big corporations don't even know what happens.
00:06:27.000 They hired somebody, and then this somebody is a secret nut job, and they just want to feel good about themselves and powerful, and they're making a difference in corporate America, blah, blah.
00:06:38.620 Who knows?
00:06:39.420 At the same time, I really think it's all about cash, right?
00:06:41.680 I mean, when America is fat and happy, people tend to feel a little bit guilty, and then people tend to reach out, and then others feel guilty sometimes about whatever, their success, their wealth, whatever it is.
00:06:54.280 And they say, yeah, you know what, I have it too good.
00:06:57.740 Stop thinking that way.
00:06:59.260 You've earned it.
00:07:00.320 Someone's earned it.
00:07:01.340 Someone who's earned it has given it to you.
00:07:02.600 Whatever it is, it's your business.
00:07:04.620 Enough with this stuff.
00:07:05.820 Like, it's okay to feel good about yourself.
00:07:08.700 It's okay to be happy with success.
00:07:11.240 You work hard for it.
00:07:12.500 So, you have these companies now, and Walmart was one that said, we're going to stop all this crap, and they did it pretty quickly.
00:07:27.660 They did it really quick.
00:07:29.900 And now Costco, I always thought Costco was smart.
00:07:35.840 I mean, they run a hell of a business, but they want to go with this.
00:07:40.680 The board of directors wrote a message to investors.
00:07:44.760 It said, our success at Costco wholesale has been built on service to our critical stakeholders, employees, members, and suppliers.
00:07:51.620 Our efforts are on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
00:07:55.160 Follow our code of ethics.
00:07:57.460 What?
00:07:58.620 For our employees, they wrote.
00:08:00.180 This is from the board of Costco.
00:08:01.360 So, these efforts are built around inclusion, having all of our employees feel valued and respected.
00:08:08.200 Wow.
00:08:09.460 Our efforts of diversity, equity, and inclusion remind and reinforce with everyone at our company the importance of creating opportunities for all.
00:08:15.960 We believe these efforts enhance our capacity to attract and retain employees who will help our business succeed.
00:08:23.580 So, that was what they wrote to shareholders.
00:08:26.920 And I guess they're going to have their annual meeting coming up January 23rd.
00:08:31.800 And they want to keep this.
00:08:34.800 This is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.
00:08:41.780 New York Post reports shareholders are going to vote on this.
00:08:45.100 On a proposal brought by the National Center for Public Policy Research that challenges the legality of Costco's DEI program.
00:08:51.200 The Supreme Court had ruled that discriminating on the base of race in college admissions violates the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment.
00:09:00.440 So, I guess that could work here as well.
00:09:03.280 And again, you think about this.
00:09:04.700 I mean, they have a lot of employees.
00:09:07.720 And in this story, I mean, Costco, they have a chief diversity officer.
00:09:13.240 So, Costco apparently picks people for jobs based on their race, based on their sex.
00:09:19.420 Not based on merit, but that's what it is.
00:09:23.900 I think America can send the message to Costco that they either reward this racism and sexism or they don't.
00:09:34.800 And it's very easy, very easy to send that message.
00:09:40.940 It's been sent to, like I said, Anheuser-Busch to target to so many others.
00:09:45.900 John Deere, Harley-Davidson, you name it.
00:09:48.420 Like, this has happened.
00:09:50.160 This has happened.
00:09:51.640 And this is at a time where companies, look, the economy's tough.
00:09:56.980 Companies are looking to ax some people.
00:09:58.660 And, you know, companies want to keep revenue generators and they want to get rid of, well, people that just cost you money.
00:10:06.440 And DEI people, they don't generate revenue.
00:10:09.160 They just cost you money.
00:10:10.220 It's like a tax.
00:10:11.720 So, a lot of companies have gotten rid of them.
00:10:16.520 Scaled back.
00:10:17.680 As a matter of fact, New York Post reports, Alphabet owns Google, right?
00:10:21.620 They've laid off DEI departments.
00:10:24.480 Meta, Microsoft, Zoom, John Deere.
00:10:26.960 Wow.
00:10:29.160 But Costco is keeping it.
00:10:32.240 They want to keep their racist, sexist, discriminatory hiring practices, I guess.
00:10:39.440 And they're going for it.
00:10:40.940 This is the dumbest thing I've ever seen in my life.
00:10:43.000 I don't know what they're thinking, but it's also in this proposal.
00:10:48.780 It says here, and this is a big deal, right?
00:10:53.480 Because the National Center for Public Policy Research wrote in its shareholder proposal that Costco has 310,000 employees.
00:11:01.200 At least 200,000 are likely potential victims of illegal discrimination because they're white, Asian, male, or straight.
00:11:07.880 Even if just a fraction of these employees, of the 200,000 estimated, were to file a lawsuit, and only some of those prove successful, Costco could be out tens of billions of dollars.
00:11:21.120 So why the hell would shareholders say, you know what?
00:11:24.760 Yeah, let's keep going with this.
00:11:26.020 That could cost us billions of dollars and make our shares worthless.
00:11:29.840 So we'll see.
00:11:31.380 We'll see.
00:11:32.300 But Costco, I just, I, beyond stupid, beyond dumb, even universities and colleges are doing everything they can to try to get rid of DEI stuff and gender studies and all this woke crap and woke garbage and all this stuff.
00:11:50.120 Some are just trying to rename it to trick people.
00:11:53.220 So we have that.
00:11:55.140 But this is only part of it.
00:11:57.420 You know, look at the stock market, right?
00:11:58.860 What is going on in the stock market?
00:11:59.980 Stocks are up.
00:12:00.700 Why, government spending, right?
00:12:02.020 We're just, they're printing money.
00:12:03.400 They're doing this stuff.
00:12:04.820 But the NASDAQ, the tech-heavy NASDAQ, apparently they also have decided to go woke.
00:12:12.420 Again, we are trying to get rid of this.
00:12:14.280 It's the last year of 2024.
00:12:15.780 It should be the end of wokeness.
00:12:17.320 We elected Trump.
00:12:18.680 We gave a mandate.
00:12:19.500 We have the House.
00:12:22.280 We have the Senate.
00:12:24.180 What is going on here?
00:12:26.380 But apparently the NASDAQ, as you're getting ready to maybe do some investing, work with your financial advisor,
00:12:32.020 the NASDAQ has diversity rules.
00:12:35.180 Charlie Gasparino wrote about this in the New York Post.
00:12:38.060 Diversity rules from NASDAQ?
00:12:41.420 They're trying to force every company that lists on the NASDAQ to choose a board of directors that stresses intersectionality.
00:12:49.620 Race, yes, sexual and gender diversity.
00:12:54.520 Again, there's no such thing as gender, but whatever.
00:12:56.940 So instead of companies that have boards, right, that say we need to grow, we're going to have the best people with the best ideas, the best thinkers,
00:13:05.780 and we're going to base everything on merit.
00:13:07.460 Instead of that, what are they doing?
00:13:09.440 NASDAQ is saying we need to go with woke stuff, DEI, diversity.
00:13:18.920 We need as many people of different colors, different sexes, different this, different that.
00:13:24.000 Again, instead of actually the smartest.
00:13:26.700 That's why sports is always great because sports is the ultimate, right?
00:13:29.560 I mean, look, sports leagues go woke.
00:13:31.300 They go stupid and stuff like that.
00:13:32.700 I get it, but when it comes down to it, when you want to put guys on a basketball court, when you want to put guys on a football field,
00:13:39.420 when you want to put guys on the ice, you want to put the best team out there.
00:13:43.480 I mean, coaches get paid to win.
00:13:44.920 If they don't win, they get fired.
00:13:46.220 So they're not going to sit back and say, you know, I think I'll be able to keep my job if I have a gay guy, a bi guy, a black guy, a white guy,
00:13:54.920 and a guy that identifies as none of the above.
00:13:57.440 We'll put those five out there plus a goalie.
00:13:59.360 We'll be okay.
00:13:59.760 No, they're putting the best of the best out there because they want to be able to keep their job and make money.
00:14:04.320 That's how it works.
00:14:05.640 That's how it works.
00:14:09.000 And now the NASDAQ is putting through diversity rules, forcing every company that lists on the NASDAQ to choose board of directors that pushes DEI.
00:14:21.020 Holy smokes.
00:14:22.460 This is another stupid move, but what do you expect, right?
00:14:26.200 This is, I mean, they'll face it.
00:14:28.960 I mean, do they not know what just happened in November?
00:14:31.800 Do they not know that Americans have had enough with this crap?
00:14:34.340 Americans have had enough with kids having sex mutilation surgery.
00:14:40.200 We've had enough of this stuff.
00:14:41.340 We've had enough of this being forced to be taught to kids in school.
00:14:45.120 We're done with this.
00:14:46.060 And yet, what do they do?
00:14:46.800 They go for it.
00:14:48.180 They go for it.
00:14:49.660 Wait till you hear this stuff that they have being taught in college.
00:14:54.000 H-1B visas.
00:14:55.940 People are up in arms.
00:14:57.240 Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy and other companies claim that we don't have enough engineers, which, by the way, that's crap.
00:15:02.580 They just hired cheap people from other countries.
00:15:05.160 That's what happens there.
00:15:06.260 We don't have enough.
00:15:07.840 Really?
00:15:08.100 Do you know what they are teaching?
00:15:09.140 Even in Ivy League schools, do you know what they are teaching in schools?
00:15:14.980 Wait till you hear it.
00:15:17.400 My name is Garrett Lewis sitting in for Glenn Beck, and I have it for you coming up right here on the Glenn Beck Program.
00:15:22.100 The older I get, the more I think about trust.
00:15:26.980 I think about the people in my life who have my trust and earned my trust, and the trust that I have placed in some people who I later learned abused that trust.
00:15:35.960 I know we're alike in that way.
00:15:37.380 We don't trust a lot of people anymore.
00:15:39.200 It's like we're all Ronald Reagan trust but always verify to make sure we're not making a mistake.
00:15:44.380 I find it a little exhausting, quite honestly, and that's why I started realestateagentsitrust.com.
00:15:49.580 I didn't have good experiences with buying and selling my homes, so we built Real Estate Agents I Trust to introduce you to one of the thousands of agents all over the country that we work with that we have verified that they will help you have the most successful and good real estate transaction possible.
00:16:07.180 Our network agents share our sensibilities, have great track records, are good and decent people, and I trust them to help you with your real estate needs.
00:16:15.620 So whether you're moving across town or across the country, visit realestateagentsitrust.com.
00:16:20.840 The name says it all, realestateagentsitrust.com.
00:16:23.620 The name says it all, realestateagentsitrust.com.
00:16:34.620 Garrett Lewis in for Glenn Beck on the Glenn Beck Program.
00:16:37.540 Thank you for hanging out with me.
00:16:38.760 I am in Arizona.
00:16:39.520 You can follow me on X and Instagram at Garrett Lewis.
00:16:43.200 Facebook, Garrett Lewis Radio.
00:16:45.240 That's where you find me, Truth Social, at Garrett Lewis.
00:16:48.440 I'd love for you to follow me.
00:16:51.360 Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year.
00:16:54.100 It's all happening.
00:16:55.060 It was night six for Hanukkah in my household last night, and my wife got me a great Hanukkah present, a fake news button that she's not letting me bring into work.
00:17:03.440 So she told me, this is a gift for you, but every time you say something I don't like, she's hitting the button where it's Trump's voice.
00:17:09.280 One of his seven quotes they have in this little machine where he talks about, you're fake news, you're rude, you're rude, you're just fake news.
00:17:15.000 So that's, my wife keeps getting me Trump stuff for Hanukkah.
00:17:18.160 It's pretty easy.
00:17:19.180 You ever try buying things for a woman?
00:17:22.880 Good luck buying clothes, unless it's those kinds of clothes, and even then you get the side eye.
00:17:27.280 Anyway, let me get to what is being taught at all kinds of different universities.
00:17:31.960 This is some of my favorite stuff right here, okay?
00:17:34.860 Boston University.
00:17:36.660 This is where AOC went.
00:17:39.580 We're told all these colleges and universities are great.
00:17:42.240 What a waste.
00:17:43.040 What a scam.
00:17:45.200 Campus reform with this story.
00:17:47.400 Boston University to offer graduate-level course.
00:17:50.660 Wow, graduate-level?
00:17:52.280 Featuring trans saints and gender-fluid angels.
00:17:57.820 Trans saints, gender-fluid angels.
00:18:03.260 The broad theme for the course is, you ready for it?
00:18:06.340 Medieval trans studies.
00:18:08.260 So now we are apparently to believe that in the Middle Ages, there were trans people.
00:18:18.880 Now, I like J.K. Rowling.
00:18:20.880 I've never seen Harry Potter, never seen any of that stuff.
00:18:23.420 I actually enjoy women.
00:18:25.820 And I have Dungeons & Dragons story, too.
00:18:28.360 I've never played that, because once again, I actually enjoy women.
00:18:31.120 So, we're now apparently led to believe Boston University is trying to tell us that transgender, this whole myth, this whole, is it a PSYOP?
00:18:46.980 Is it the CHICOMs that are pushing this on us to mess with our society?
00:18:50.060 I don't know.
00:18:51.580 But we're now being told that this goes back to apparently medieval times, the Middle Ages?
00:18:55.980 Wait, what's going on here?
00:18:56.880 The description on Boston University's webpage for spring 2025 course options.
00:19:06.080 Medieval trans students.
00:19:09.580 Students are going to study the deep histories of transgender embodiment.
00:19:14.880 That's found in various texts from the Middle Ages.
00:19:19.660 The Middle Ages.
00:19:20.640 Now, I'm pretty sure if there was a dude in the Middle Ages, and I'm not wanting this to happen, but, I mean, you can imagine the brutality of the world back then.
00:19:32.700 If some guy was like, you know what?
00:19:34.640 I'm actually a woman.
00:19:35.680 I'm going to wear that woman's dress right there.
00:19:38.120 I don't think it's going to go over well with the people that had power in the Middle Ages.
00:19:42.540 Do you think that really happened?
00:19:43.500 I mean, mentally ill people can be around at any time, I guess.
00:19:50.960 By the way, medieval trans studies can be counted toward a master's or Ph.D. in English.
00:19:56.560 I swear, part of this has to be just done on purpose by libs and companies and corporations that donate to universities to not have a plethora of computer programmers and engineers so they can use H-1B visas to get cheap labor.
00:20:15.700 It just seems that way to me.
00:20:16.960 At the same time, again, I think the H-1B visa program is a giant scam where companies, corporations, could just hire people on the cheap.
00:20:25.640 I can get into this.
00:20:26.520 There was a story about how, I mean, giant tech companies, Google, Amazon, they fired tens of thousands of Americans and rehired foreigners for a lot cheaper.
00:20:37.020 H-1B.
00:20:37.580 Anyway, back to this, back to this story.
00:20:42.680 Students are going to study all kinds of different sexual and gender identities, even though gender is not real, from a period of time that has apparently begun in the year 500 A.D.
00:20:55.620 Description says, expect to read about hermaphrodites, gender fluid angels, Ethiopian eunuchs.
00:21:03.960 I'm not making this up, trans saints, sex workers, and genderqueer monks.
00:21:13.620 Genderqueer monks.
00:21:16.260 Excuse me, wait, what?
00:21:19.040 I remember when we were looking for a school, a charter school for my two boys, and it's great.
00:21:24.200 I don't want them indoctrinated.
00:21:25.600 I want nothing like that happening.
00:21:27.520 I want them to be taught science and English and history, and it was great, right?
00:21:31.420 Everything was great.
00:21:32.280 And, again, I've talked about this maybe yesterday.
00:21:35.800 The school, the kids are at desks.
00:21:37.480 They have chalkboards.
00:21:38.720 It's traditional.
00:21:39.780 They say the pledge every day.
00:21:41.060 They do a moment of silence.
00:21:42.180 I mean, it's Veterans Day program, all this stuff, right?
00:21:45.660 I remember I looked at the assistant principal.
00:21:49.720 I said, everything looks good, sounds good.
00:21:51.660 I just want to make sure my kids aren't being influenced by a teacher making up history.
00:21:57.440 And she stopped me.
00:21:58.120 She said, we don't do that here.
00:21:59.980 I said, I'm good.
00:22:01.440 But at Balls University, you go into major debt to learn about Ethiopian eunuchs and genderqueer monks.
00:22:08.260 Oh, I have more of this.
00:22:09.500 Wait till you hear the rest.
00:22:11.280 Coming up, Garrett Lewis in for Glenn Beck on the Glenn Beck program.
00:22:14.900 Glenn Beck.

00:23:25.920 Garrett Lewis in for Glenn Beck on the Glenn Beck program.
00:23:50.480 I do afternoons on KFY in Phoenix and KNST in Tucson.
00:23:54.340 So glad to spend the last day of 2024 with you.
00:23:59.380 And as we usher in 2025, we want to usher out insanity, right?
00:24:03.620 Wars, an open border, inflation, wokeness, DEI.
00:24:08.780 All of that stuff.
00:24:10.920 All of that stuff.
00:24:12.120 We want to get America back to what it was.
00:24:14.640 Not this insane place where it seems like people that dye their hair these wacky colors and they think it looks nice.
00:24:22.260 They rule the roost like we've had it with them.
00:24:25.720 You ever see those people, by the way?
00:24:27.460 They walk around, they have like this blue hair or purple hair or like green hair.
00:24:32.400 You can tell it's like a whole, it's, it's, if they paid for it, they are suckers.
00:24:35.960 It's like a home job.
00:24:36.720 And you're like, I mean, do you look at that?
00:24:38.620 You're like, yeah, this is good.
00:24:40.720 This is, this is really good.
00:24:42.620 Anyway, we also want to get rid of men in women's sports.
00:24:45.680 Can we finally be done with that?
00:24:46.800 And, and I mean like every single kind of sport there is.
00:24:52.740 See, this is a big problem that I have too.
00:24:54.680 This is another wacky thing happening on a college campus.
00:24:57.020 Cornell University.
00:24:59.100 Allegedly smart people go to Cornell University.
00:25:03.340 They have a pole dancing club.
00:25:05.460 Okay.
00:25:08.180 Now, I firmly believe pole dancing is strictly a women's sport.
00:25:12.400 I want to keep all men out of pole dancing.
00:25:14.900 There is no reason for men to be on the pole.
00:25:18.120 None at all.
00:25:19.060 If I were to go to Cornell, I probably would volunteer for this club to help with windexing.
00:25:28.000 I don't know, but you're a pole dancing club, but it's Cornell.
00:25:34.040 Okay.
00:25:35.720 The pole dancing club is paid for with student fees.
00:25:39.980 And apparently the people that run the pole dancing club want to ruin pole dancing.
00:25:45.260 This is what liberals do, right?
00:25:46.500 They, they ruin women's sports by putting men in there.
00:25:49.980 They want to ruin pole dancing by now hosting trainings for trans, which are men that think
00:25:56.420 they're women.
00:25:57.520 I mean, pretty sure if they're wearing a short skirt or something and they go upside down
00:26:01.140 on the pole, you clearly tell it's a guy.
00:26:02.940 They want to hold trainings for trans and plus size students, plus size, I mean, fat students.
00:26:13.920 I'm going to just guess that pole dancing is a difficult thing to do.
00:26:17.100 You have to be in pretty good shape.
00:26:19.740 You know, you walk in at 275, you're not going to be able to get up that pole very much.
00:26:24.900 So can we please keep pole dancing the way it's supposed to be?
00:26:27.820 Not at Cornell.
00:26:30.660 Can we get rid of this as we get to 2025?
00:26:35.560 The pole dancing club at Cornell has a social chair.
00:26:40.600 The group social chair told the Cornell student newspaper, people think pole is for a very narrow
00:26:46.940 group of people.
00:26:48.480 I agree with that.
00:26:50.940 A lot of people assume that men can't do pole or it's a woman only sport.
00:26:55.620 It's not true.
00:26:56.260 No, it totally is true.
00:26:57.820 Isn't this crazy?
00:27:00.640 We, the pole.
00:27:03.160 We do a lot of these different kinds of events in the hope of being able to expand and show
00:27:07.460 people that pole is not just this one thing.
00:27:10.360 Anyone can do pole and anyone can enjoy pole.
00:27:12.940 These are actual quotes.
00:27:16.240 Anyone can do pole.
00:27:17.800 Anyone can enjoy pole.
00:27:20.100 Oh boy.
00:27:20.820 Which is why the Cornell student group called the pole posse hosted workshops for trans, non-binary,
00:27:28.340 and fat dancers.
00:27:29.240 I can call them fat.
00:27:33.840 Why call them plus size?
00:27:34.820 What the hell's the difference?
00:27:35.680 It is what it is.
00:27:39.460 So, they want to be diverse.
00:27:42.120 This is the problem, again, with DEI, all this stuff.
00:27:44.840 No, no, no, but nobody wants this.
00:27:49.660 Through their diversity initiatives, they said, we do not tolerate body shaming, ability shaming.
00:27:55.220 Oh, that's a new ability shaming.
00:27:56.820 Of course, good luck in life or gender discrimination.
00:28:03.500 Shaving is also not required.
00:28:05.140 Body hair is fine, the group states.
00:28:06.640 Oh, this is, everything about this is wrong.
00:28:09.340 Everything about it is wrong.
00:28:11.680 So, once again, wacky liberals have ruined the art and sport of pole dancing by bringing in men and people that just shouldn't do it.
00:28:21.000 It's that simple, right?
00:28:23.040 The basketball team, I mean, if you're, like, 5'2", you'd have to be really, really, really good, like Muggsy Bogues good, Spud Webb good.
00:28:32.700 They're not going to be like, you know, we need to make sure that when you play basketball, it's for everybody.
00:28:37.680 Go ahead, try it for the Cornell Ice Hockey team.
00:28:39.300 It's for people that can't even skate.
00:28:40.560 No, it doesn't work that way.
00:28:42.160 So, I'm hoping that we can usher this garbage out in 2025.
00:28:48.280 I don't know if it's going to happen, but, I mean, we can always hope, we can always pray that,
00:28:53.040 only good-looking hot chicks get a chance to do the pole dancing.
00:28:57.820 And I think we can all agree to that, can't we?
00:29:00.400 I'm not going to do it.
00:29:03.240 Not at all.
00:29:04.000 So, what's going on at colleges and universities?
00:29:08.640 Are they really getting rid of this stuff?
00:29:10.160 There was a headline that I saw.
00:29:12.400 University of Iowa to close gender and sexuality studies department.
00:29:17.360 Eliminate social justice major.
00:29:19.480 What?
00:29:19.960 And you're like, okay, this is pretty cool, right?
00:29:22.420 Like this, we could be doing something good here.
00:29:26.220 They're getting rid of this.
00:29:28.100 Fantastic.
00:29:28.500 Fantastic.
00:29:30.200 But are they?
00:29:33.460 Now, what's funny is that, again, this is complete liberal stuff.
00:29:36.860 It doesn't matter if it makes sense.
00:29:38.800 We'll spend your money.
00:29:40.960 So, they're closing the American Studies and Gender, Women's, and Sexuality Studies department,
00:29:46.700 eliminating the social justice major combined to have fewer than 60 students.
00:29:51.840 What kind of a job can you get besides being, like, somebody that runs an HR department or who knows what?
00:29:59.920 What can you possibly do?
00:30:01.760 Are they really getting rid of these, though, is the question.
00:30:05.480 And even though it's said that, it really kind of isn't.
00:30:11.420 It says, University of Iowa, they have a dean named Sarah Sanders.
00:30:21.100 And it says here, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at University of Iowa.
00:30:27.780 Yeah, sure, they'll get rid of this.
00:30:29.380 It's, you know, oh, we're going to get rid of this whole thing.
00:30:31.260 The DEI, we're getting rid of it.
00:30:32.500 The Gender and Women's Studies, we're getting rid of that stuff.
00:30:35.800 But they're replacing it, really.
00:30:38.640 They're replacing it.
00:30:41.420 During a Board of Regents meeting, they said they're going to get rid of that,
00:30:46.600 but also create something new, because why not, right?
00:30:50.460 Why not?
00:30:52.100 Quote, we're excited to reposition these programs for the future.
00:30:56.180 What?
00:30:57.240 The creation of a school of social and cultural analysis
00:31:00.520 would allow us to build our considerable legacy in areas that are essential to our mission,
00:31:05.200 while creating more sustainable structures and room for innovative new curriculum.
00:31:09.140 Uh, what, what?
00:31:11.920 Yeah.
00:31:14.040 So, instead of basically calling it women and gender studies, gender or women's studies,
00:31:19.660 whatever the hell it is.
00:31:20.160 There are men's studies, by the way.
00:31:21.520 We're very simple creatures, that's why.
00:31:23.100 They're simply renaming it at the University of Iowa.
00:31:25.660 Don't fall for this stuff.
00:31:27.760 The School of Social and Cultural Analysis.
00:31:30.040 Again, how do you get a job with that?
00:31:35.380 When they met back in February about creating this new school,
00:31:38.620 they said, if created, this school would house various fields,
00:31:41.400 like gender, women's, and sexuality studies.
00:31:45.100 Latina, Latino, and Latinx studies.
00:31:50.580 So, apparently, it's not going to be, uh, just gone, just, just right then and there.
00:31:55.140 It's not, not, not going to be gone.
00:31:57.300 So, even though we want to get rid of the woke, we want to get rid of this stuff,
00:32:00.240 the liberals always seem to find a way around it.
00:32:03.280 All right, we're not going to do this.
00:32:04.520 I guess Iowa has some kind of a law that says you can't have these,
00:32:07.680 these kinds of stupid classes or majors anymore.
00:32:12.720 There was, uh, change to DEI-based education.
00:32:16.320 There was a law limiting state universities from funding DEI offices.
00:32:20.180 So, they simply changed the damn name.
00:32:23.000 They changed the name.
00:32:25.140 This is what we're dealing with.
00:32:27.640 I mean, speaking of DEI, there's something else that I thought we would completely get,
00:32:34.680 you know, just get rid of.
00:32:36.300 But, apparently, this isn't going away either.
00:32:38.800 But, this is actually pretty good.
00:32:41.400 It's, it's, it's actually, it's actually not bad.
00:32:44.600 It's actually, I think we're all going to be better off because of it.
00:32:49.340 Listen to Kamala Harris, because speaking of DEI, Kamala Harris, uh, advisor, Simone Sanders.
00:33:00.200 I don't think the world has seen the last of Vice President Kamala Harris.
00:33:03.460 I don't know how she will show up again.
00:33:05.420 But, she is a young politician who garnered over 75 million votes in this election.
00:33:11.400 And, she will be back.
00:33:12.560 She will be back.
00:33:13.960 You don't know where you're going to see her again?
00:33:15.720 Is she going to finally do the McDonald's drive-thru?
00:33:19.460 Is that where we're going to see her?
00:33:21.220 Is she going to actually get a job at McDonald's this time?
00:33:24.820 Dude, the fact that Kamala may be the worst candidate ever to run for president in the history of this country.
00:33:31.400 The fact that Democrats are like, no, no, we want Kamala back.
00:33:34.620 It's going to be fantastic.
00:33:36.740 This is great.
00:33:39.160 She has accomplished nothing.
00:33:40.760 America has realized that.
00:33:42.520 Let her do it.
00:33:43.520 You know what?
00:33:43.920 Go be governor of California.
00:33:45.380 It's going to work out great there.
00:33:47.020 It's going to work out great.
00:33:48.120 You know there were so many jokes you could say to with this.
00:33:50.240 If you, one more time.
00:33:50.740 I don't think the world has seen the last of Vice President Kamala Harris.
00:33:54.100 I don't know how she will show up.
00:33:57.500 Should we ask Willie Brown?
00:34:00.420 How will she show up?
00:34:02.620 Is it going to be something in that effect?
00:34:06.160 So, okay.
00:34:07.000 We're trying to get rid of woke stuff, DEI stuff.
00:34:09.920 Some things are going.
00:34:11.520 Others are not.
00:34:12.420 Talk to you about Costco.
00:34:14.360 And apparently at Boston University, they're going to talk about medieval trans studies.
00:34:20.700 Renaming this stuff at universities.
00:34:22.620 Again, it's going to be a long fight.
00:34:23.720 We have to get ready for it.
00:34:24.960 And again, the other part of DEI that we're not going to get rid of is Kamala Harris.
00:34:28.860 But I think that's going to really bode well for us.
00:34:31.500 Because the more Kamala that is out there, the better it is for us.
00:34:35.580 Because nobody wants Kamala.
00:34:38.080 Nobody wants Kamala.
00:34:39.440 No flippin' way does anybody want Kamala.
00:34:42.820 Oh my gosh.
00:34:43.800 By the way, it was more than just the CBS reporter that apparently said the most underreported story of this year,
00:34:52.900 and it really is the past four years, is Joe Biden's declining mental ability.
00:34:59.540 Another network, and this is another network that probably will go out of business at some point because they're just that bad.
00:35:08.980 Another network kind of touched on this.
00:35:11.520 And it's even worse.
00:35:13.560 What they said is even more crazy about Joe Biden, his mental acuity, and his accomplishments.
00:35:20.820 And I'm going to have you hear that coming up.
00:35:22.440 Garrett Lewis in for Glenn Beck on the Glenn Beck Program.
00:35:27.420 You're listening to the Glenn Beck Program.
00:35:29.920 With New Year's resolutions, many of us will vow to eat healthier, and that's a good thing.
00:35:48.360 But what about your beloved pets and their nutrition?
00:35:51.120 Where's their RFK?
00:35:52.740 Am I right?
00:35:54.120 Well, naturopathic Dr. Dennis Black is actually their RFK.
00:35:58.000 He's on a mission to provide better nutrition for cats and dogs because, truthfully, it's what we're feeding our pets, most of it, is not good.
00:36:05.300 And we're not feeding them what they need, which is why he created Rough Greens and Meow Greens.
00:36:10.080 Bring your pet's dead food back to life with live vitamins, minerals, probiotics, enzymes, omega oils, antioxidants, and so much more.

00:36:59.940 Happy New Year's Eve.
00:37:01.600 It is the last day of 2024.
00:37:04.340 And we want to see some change going into 2025, don't we?
00:37:09.720 Oh, yes, we do.
00:37:12.200 So Jan Crawford, CBS.
00:37:15.340 I played it yesterday.
00:37:17.540 And if you missed it, these people are just beyond repulsive.
00:37:23.000 I mean, they really are.
00:37:24.800 Apparently, you had five dopey journalists standing around or sitting around a table on CBS News, Face the Nation, trying to figure out what was the most underreported story.
00:37:33.820 What can we talk about things that we refuse to report and call it underreported?
00:37:37.200 And if you missed it, she actually said this.
00:37:40.640 Covered underreported.
00:37:41.500 And that would be, to me, Joe Biden's obvious cognitive decline that became undeniable in the televised debates.
00:37:49.600 At the president.
00:37:50.000 There you go.
00:37:50.860 Of course, he had a basement campaign, if you remember.
00:37:53.280 I mean, they barely said words running for president in 2020.
00:37:57.900 And they're acting like this is something new.
00:38:00.140 Like this is something new.
00:38:01.280 So they weren't the only ones, by the way, to say that.
00:38:03.940 CNN.
00:38:04.860 Oh, yes.
00:38:06.000 CNN.
00:38:06.520 I don't know who this lady is at CNN.
00:38:08.340 But again, in the real world, if she had a real job where it actually counted for credibility and merit, she would be fired because she is that stupid.
00:38:18.680 I don't want you to drive off the road if you're driving, if you're shaving, listening to me.
00:38:22.640 Put down the razor, chew and swallow your breakfast or whatever you're eating right now, because this is that crazy on CNN.
00:38:29.920 It was very disturbing to learn late in the year about just how bad, how poor his health has become.
00:38:38.560 His health?
00:38:39.140 Like many, I did not realize that it had gotten to that point.
00:38:42.380 Hang on.
00:38:42.840 Hang on.
00:38:43.360 I hadn't realized.
00:38:47.200 Lady, send me $200 and I'm going to make you the owner of the Brooklyn Bridge.
00:38:51.480 I'll write it out on a piece of paper.
00:38:52.900 You own the Brooklyn Bridge.
00:38:54.080 Signed Garrett.
00:38:54.640 $200.
00:38:55.180 You get it.
00:38:55.740 Not a problem.
00:38:56.360 I had no idea.
00:38:57.660 Wow.
00:38:58.040 You are such a journalist.
00:38:59.080 You're so observant.
00:39:00.300 You had no idea that going back to the 2020 campaign, Joe Biden wasn't brain dead and everything else.
00:39:05.820 All the falls, all the gaffes.
00:39:07.380 I have this is my we'll get more to her in just a second.
00:39:10.140 But this this is my out of all the things that Joe Biden has tried to say.
00:39:16.420 This might be my favorite.
00:39:18.660 He was standing on the White House lawn in front of a podium with Kamala to his left and the crazy radical Supreme Court justice that he just nominated.
00:39:28.140 Ketanji Brown Jackson to his right.
00:39:31.080 And Joe Biden said this.
00:39:32.820 America is a nation that can be defined in a single word.
00:39:37.200 I was going to put him in.
00:39:39.600 Yeah, that's exactly what I would have described it as well.
00:39:42.200 That's.
00:39:43.200 So that's my favorite thing that Joe Biden tried to say.
00:39:47.200 And there was a lot of that.
00:39:48.180 There was a lot of that.
00:39:48.860 But let's go back to this CNN lady who is about to.
00:39:52.660 If you think it couldn't get any worse.
00:39:54.480 Oh, it does.
00:39:55.220 Hang on.
00:39:55.980 That being said, I think he's still look.
00:39:58.000 He showed up for the job.
00:39:59.180 He got the work done.
00:40:00.660 I think some of the accomplishments also in the Middle East.
00:40:03.800 I got it.
00:40:04.920 Let's see.
00:40:05.640 His accomplishments in the Middle East and foreign policy.
00:40:08.720 She actually said normally in the real world, they'd be like, get get her off the air.
00:40:11.840 Like she's just destroying us.
00:40:13.400 Nobody could take us seriously.
00:40:14.640 But it's CNN.
00:40:15.800 We'll also stand the test of time.
00:40:17.820 Do you think the Middle East is in better shape today than when he took office?
00:40:21.280 Well, I think he got our hostages home.
00:40:23.060 I think that's important.
00:40:24.660 I'm sorry.
00:40:24.960 Which hostages?
00:40:26.080 He's gotten a number of people home.
00:40:28.380 There's still 100 people over there.
00:40:29.620 Yeah, including Americans.
00:40:30.780 Including some Americans.
00:40:31.960 That's right.
00:40:33.200 She actually said that.
00:40:36.480 She actually said that.
00:40:38.700 Great.
00:40:39.200 Great.
00:40:39.460 The Middle East.
00:40:40.200 A lot of accomplishments.
00:40:40.980 Got the hostages home.
00:40:43.860 Oh, my God.
00:40:44.320 These people are nuts.
00:40:45.360 CNN, go out of business soon, will you?
00:40:47.100 Coming up, a Democrat, a Democrat activist finally admits, and he's shocked at how racist
00:40:52.680 he is and the Democrats are and why Kamala lost and Trump won.
00:40:56.640 It's coming up.
00:40:57.160 Garrett Lewis in for Glenn Beck on the Glenn Beck Program.
00:41:00.600 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:41:10.980 We've got no room to compromise.
00:41:32.100 We've got to stay together if we're going to survive.
00:41:39.600 Stay up straight.
00:41:45.760 And hold the line.
00:41:49.060 It's a new day.
00:41:51.400 Time to rise.
00:41:57.980 Welcome to the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
00:42:04.460 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:42:10.420 I'm Garrett Lewis in for Glenn Beck today.
00:42:13.800 Happy New Year's Eve.
00:42:14.780 As we get ready to send 2024 off and welcome in 2025, people are asking, how the heck did
00:42:23.300 the Democrats lose?
00:42:25.620 Was it all Biden?
00:42:26.800 Was it Kamala?
00:42:28.920 Was it the economy?
00:42:30.160 Was it illegal immigration?
00:42:31.280 Oh, I think it was all of the above.
00:42:33.980 And you have to hear how crazy Democratic strategists are.
00:42:38.660 It's coming up in 60 seconds.
00:42:40.740 The older I get, the more I think about trust.
00:42:48.140 I think about the people in my life who have my trust and earned my trust and the trust that
00:42:53.400 I have placed in some people who I later learned abused that trust.
00:42:57.120 I know we're alike in that way.
00:42:58.360 We don't trust a lot of people anymore.
00:43:00.300 It's like we're all Ronald Reagan trust, but always verify to make sure we're not making
00:43:04.660 a mistake.
00:43:05.480 I find it a little exhausting, quite honestly.
00:43:07.780 And that's why I started realestateagentsitrust.com.
00:43:10.880 I didn't have good experiences with buying and selling my homes.
00:43:13.820 So we built Real Estate Agents I Trust to introduce you to one of the thousands of agents

00:43:41.940 The name says it all.
00:43:42.820 Realestateagentsitrust.com.
00:43:51.360 Garrett Lewis with you, sitting in for Glenn Beck on the Glenn Beck program.
00:43:55.560 I do the afternoon show in Arizona.
00:43:58.300 It's in Phoenix on KFYI and in Tucson on KNSD.
00:44:02.120 So glad that you are here with me.
00:44:03.480 It's been a fun four days.
00:44:05.540 And I think I may be back at certain points in 2025.
00:44:09.760 So that's just great.
00:44:10.680 What's not going to be back in 2025 are these Democrats.
00:44:15.380 You know, one thing I've learned and I really focused in as just as a person, but definitely
00:44:21.840 as a talk show, but as a person.
00:44:24.980 After the China virus happened and seeing our rights going away and the money involved and
00:44:29.160 people cashing in is, you know, maybe I was late at the game.
00:44:32.380 Maybe you know this, but I mean, politics is such a huge business.
00:44:35.320 It is like crazy.
00:44:36.840 The amount of money that is spent.
00:44:38.560 I mean, you saw it.
00:44:39.340 It happens locally, too, by the way, wherever you are locally, statewide, nationally.
00:44:44.680 You saw how Kamala's people blew through a billion dollars and still ended up in debt.
00:44:50.680 Anyway, you have a lot of people that I'm just sorry.
00:44:53.020 They're just not that smart.
00:44:54.280 They're just not that smart.
00:44:55.340 And these strategists.
00:44:58.560 Why do politicians have to pay strategists?
00:45:01.940 Can you just be you?
00:45:04.200 Consultants and strategists and this and that.
00:45:06.880 Well, listen, I grew up on Long Island and I escaped.
00:45:10.680 Growing up on Long Island, I thought everything was was great.
00:45:13.100 Like if you grew up in New York, you think there's no place better and there's no place that you'd want to be.
00:45:18.920 And as soon as I hit the age of 21, I'm like, I got to get the hell out of here because it's just too hard to make it on Long Island.
00:45:24.400 It's too expensive.
00:45:25.160 It's crazy.
00:45:25.740 The taxes, this, that.
00:45:26.800 And I got out.
00:45:27.680 I got out.
00:45:28.740 You're in your bubble, right?
00:45:29.940 And a lot of people are in bubbles wherever they may live.
00:45:31.740 But this New Yorker, he sounds like a New Yorker to me, a Democratic strategist named Jeffrey Pollack.
00:45:39.360 He was, I guess, sitting and talking about what it was like being a Democratic strategist during this election, trying to figure out a strategy for Democrats to get voters.
00:45:54.400 And here we go.
00:45:55.560 This is where these liberals think they're just nice people.
00:45:57.960 And it turns out they're flat out racists.
00:45:59.920 I mean, that's really what they are.
00:46:02.300 He's talking about, and I want you to hear this, this is incredible stuff.
00:46:05.600 And this is why Democrats, I don't think, have a chance.
00:46:07.840 Unless they just change on a dime.
00:46:10.040 And I just don't see that happening.
00:46:11.640 I just don't see them having a chance.
00:46:13.720 Of course, Republicans have to do their part, too.
00:46:16.220 So here he is talking about what it was like to have focus groups with Hispanic voters in South Texas.
00:46:24.640 So what Hispanic voters did in many ways across this country is vote with their wallets.
00:46:30.320 But there's also it is also clear when you think about what happened in a place like South Texas on the border, that sure, that the economy is a part of it.
00:46:43.060 But also their clear hostility about immigration, which to many of us in blue states and sitting in a place like New York seems like, well, how can that be possible?
00:46:54.100 But hang on.
00:46:55.020 It's right right there.
00:46:56.580 How can Hispanics.
00:46:59.560 Be against illegal immigration.
00:47:02.440 What a racist statement.
00:47:03.600 I mean, I mean, I think you have brown skin.
00:47:07.380 People look like you.
00:47:08.820 Why would you not want more of them here?
00:47:10.960 Because we don't know who they are.
00:47:12.060 Doesn't matter what color they are.
00:47:13.200 I mean, especially now when Biden let people in for like over 180 countries.
00:47:17.540 They're coming from China.
00:47:19.020 They're coming from Russia.
00:47:20.360 They're coming from all kinds of places.
00:47:22.240 Middle East.
00:47:24.380 But apparently, well, if you look like me.
00:47:27.740 OK, I am a white guy.
00:47:30.720 I'm a white guy.
00:47:31.800 I'm a white Jewish guy.
00:47:32.820 If all of a sudden white Jewish guys come in from whatever country they are coming from, I'm like, nah, I don't know who you are.
00:47:38.580 You're going to stop.
00:47:39.780 I don't know anything about you.
00:47:41.600 I don't give a you know what about.
00:47:44.320 That you're white, that you're this, you're that.
00:47:46.520 No, you're not here legally.
00:47:47.960 But yet here we go.
00:47:48.820 And listen, here in Arizona, we had to live through John McCain.
00:47:52.160 Oh, do you want to talk about an overrated, flippin' guy?
00:47:57.540 Jeez, man.
00:47:58.260 John McCain tried his very best to convince people in Arizona that the Republicans have to support amnesty if we're going to get Hispanic voters to vote for us in the future.
00:48:13.000 We'll lose the party.
00:48:15.200 And I'm like, I've said it for years.
00:48:16.840 I've been here for a long time that John McCain saying that was just a flat out racist, just like liberals that say the same thing.
00:48:24.160 Flat out racist.
00:48:28.620 John McCain was absolutely awful, but that's what he said.
00:48:33.000 And then, of course, that's why I love it.
00:48:34.280 And the whole McCain clan, the whole McCain family, they're just problems.
00:48:37.020 The McCainites that are still in Arizona, they're problems.
00:48:41.640 They act like they care.
00:48:42.960 All they want is cheap labor.
00:48:44.560 So let's get back to this guy who, we go back a little bit where he's like, man, this is just crazy.
00:48:49.180 And Hispanics in South Texas want to stop illegals.
00:48:53.280 Sitting in a place like New York seems like, well, how can that be possible?
00:48:56.640 But I would sit, and I said this to Basil before, I would sit in focus group with Hispanic voters.
00:49:03.620 They would talk about immigration, and you would swear to God you were sitting in a room with a bunch of cranky white guys from Missouri.
00:49:11.000 Jeez.
00:49:13.700 With a bunch of cranky white guys from Missouri.
00:49:16.940 This is a white guy too, by the way.
00:49:18.960 So this guy's amazed.
00:49:19.960 He's like, man, I'm Jeffrey Pollack out of New York, a white guy.
00:49:23.960 And I think the border should be wide open.
00:49:25.840 And I'm talking to Hispanic guys in South Texas, and they're telling me they should shut the border.
00:49:31.900 How is this even possible?
00:49:34.360 And this is how you know Democrats have no clue.
00:49:37.900 This guy, by the way, just like the people in the last hour I played from CNN and CBS,
00:49:43.780 reporters, journalists, that apparently could not even observe or figure out that Joe Biden is mostly brain dead.
00:49:51.560 They're like, we had no idea that his mental sharpness was taking a hit.
00:49:57.720 No idea.
00:49:58.520 We couldn't ask him any questions in the 2020 campaign.
00:50:01.340 We're not going to say anything.
00:50:02.760 We just don't want Trump.
00:50:03.600 So they are clueless and they should be fired.
00:50:07.480 If you're a Democrat strategist and you don't realize that people that live on the border,
00:50:13.480 Hispanics, don't want people crossing over their land.
00:50:17.580 They don't want to deal with this mess.
00:50:19.300 They don't feel safe.
00:50:20.640 You shouldn't be a Democratic strategist.
00:50:22.220 Like, to me, this guy talking is like a blinking red light to others that are running for office of don't hire me.
00:50:29.500 Whatever I tell you will be wrong.
00:50:32.000 And what a racist thing to say.
00:50:36.480 So cranky old white guys are against illegals.
00:50:41.060 There are black people in Chicago that are against illegals.
00:50:43.900 Hispanics in South Texas against illegals.
00:50:47.360 This is what we have.
00:50:48.760 But wait, there's more.
00:50:49.660 Not Hispanic voters when you were talking about immigration.
00:50:54.620 And so the flaw there is that the immigration, that the sort of mass increase in immigration,
00:51:00.560 which happened in the first couple of years of the Biden administration,
00:51:03.740 that will have been one of the great reasons, potentially, that we lost.
00:51:10.780 Potentially.
00:51:12.920 So this Democratic strategist, just like the journalists in the left media,
00:51:17.220 they couldn't figure out that a giant open border that led in 10, 15, 20 million people,
00:51:24.460 we don't know, gang members out the wazoo,
00:51:28.120 you couldn't figure out that Americans of all different ethnicities were against this.
00:51:34.240 You couldn't figure that one out.
00:51:38.560 And you're a strategist.
00:51:41.820 Yeah, I know.
00:51:42.480 It's shocking, right?
00:51:43.300 Oh, how are we supposed to figure that out?
00:51:44.620 That's crazy.
00:51:45.540 That's insane.
00:51:46.460 This is why they have no chance.
00:51:48.100 As long as we do what we're supposed to do, it should be okay.
00:51:51.400 It should be great in 2025.
00:51:53.280 It should be awesome in 2025 for the country.
00:51:56.940 We have work to do in Arizona where I am, but it should be awesome.
00:52:00.140 It should be awesome.
00:52:00.960 Yeah, Americans are against this story in the New York Post, an exclusive today.
00:52:05.980 Knife-wielding Trend de Aragua gangbangers.
00:52:09.240 You know the Venezuelan gang?
00:52:11.060 They are repeatedly attacking border crossings in a desperate move
00:52:15.200 to force their way into America before Trump takes office.
00:52:20.320 Wait a second.
00:52:22.900 Hispanics are against this too?
00:52:24.760 You don't say.
00:52:25.620 So you have Venezuelan gang guys having knives in their hand,
00:52:32.720 and they are mobbing border crossings in El Paso, Texas,
00:52:36.440 trying to break into America.
00:52:38.480 And they've come out and said this violent Venezuelan gang
00:52:41.540 that the media tried to tell us didn't really exist.
00:52:46.580 They said they're going to attack border guards that try to stop them.
00:52:49.800 This is all according to a Texas law enforcement memo
00:52:52.900 that was leaked to the New York Post.
00:52:54.240 Last week, 20 of these Venezuelan gang members,
00:53:00.460 they were armed with blades, knives, tire irons, broken liquor bottles.
00:53:05.940 They tried to force their way into America at a border gate.
00:53:09.680 This is all from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
00:53:13.460 They're now warning of another attempt on New Year's Day.
00:53:18.960 Another attempt on New Year's Day.
00:53:23.340 And apparently they want to get here before Trump gets in,
00:53:25.780 so they have a chance to just disappear into America.
00:53:31.060 Yep.
00:53:32.660 Retired agent for Homeland Security Investigations,
00:53:34.740 Victor Avilla, said you're seeing that violence at the border
00:53:36.960 because they know it's going to change in 27 days.
00:53:39.100 That's what he said a while.
00:53:40.180 It's going to be less than that.
00:53:41.100 It's now, what are we, what are we, night, 20 days?
00:53:44.120 20 days?
00:53:44.760 Yeah, 20 days.
00:53:46.400 You're going to wake up in three weeks on a Tuesday
00:53:49.160 and Trump's going to be president.
00:53:55.000 Yeah.
00:53:55.620 Texas authorities were told that these Venezuelan gangbangers
00:53:59.740 were going to try to force their way into America
00:54:02.120 by an anonymous enforcement, informant, excuse me,
00:54:05.140 and they said the violent border break-ins by this gang
00:54:07.360 would continue every night at around 3 in the morning.
00:54:10.760 And the gang intends to cause harm
00:54:12.300 to the Texas National Guard soldiers who are stationed there,
00:54:15.300 especially when they're left alone with no agents to help them.
00:54:18.460 Wow.
00:54:22.180 Texas law enforcement source to the New York Post,
00:54:24.280 gunfire has picked up big time along the El Paso border
00:54:27.280 in recent days, adding authorities have had to fire more pepper balls
00:54:29.940 and groups trying to breach the border.
00:54:33.500 So this is what's happening, and yet you heard this guy,
00:54:37.960 Jeffrey Pollack of New York, say,
00:54:39.780 man, it's just crazy.
00:54:41.680 These Hispanic guys from South Texas,
00:54:45.740 they just sound, I mean, for God's sakes,
00:54:49.420 they just sound like cranky old white guys from Missouri.
00:54:55.780 What a racist and dumb thing to say, isn't it?
00:55:00.940 Jeez.
00:55:03.560 So, you have to treat these gangbangers,
00:55:08.540 and what is Joe Biden doing, by the way?
00:55:09.900 Nothing.
00:55:10.860 Nothing.
00:55:11.320 He's going to let them in.
00:55:14.940 This retired agent said,
00:55:17.040 you have to treat them like terrorists,
00:55:18.840 because they're like terrorists.
00:55:20.380 They'll kill, destroy, take over businesses,
00:55:22.260 take over stores, take over apartment complex,
00:55:24.780 do whatever it takes to destroy our way of life in America.
00:55:27.700 And at least he had the governor of Texas,
00:55:30.540 he declared this gang a foreign terrorist organization.
00:55:35.800 So this is what we're dealing with.
00:55:37.280 They're trying to get in at the last possible second.
00:55:41.420 And you want to know a big reason why the Democrats lost?
00:55:47.160 And I consider it a big loss for Joe Biden.
00:55:48.720 Joe Biden still would have lost, just like Kamala did.
00:55:51.640 It's because people had enough with this.
00:55:54.040 They had enough of it.
00:55:55.260 And there's more, too, by the way.
00:55:59.620 Politico had a story
00:56:00.820 about Joe Biden,
00:56:05.660 what he was supposed to do,
00:56:07.220 and he failed to do it.
00:56:09.040 He was supposed to transform our country
00:56:11.200 into a green country,
00:56:13.860 climate change jobs,
00:56:16.200 technology jobs,
00:56:17.200 all this stuff.
00:56:18.060 And they're like,
00:56:18.980 we think this is why Joe Biden
00:56:20.780 also is leaving as a giant failure.
00:56:24.320 Right?
00:56:24.600 Giant failure.
00:56:25.540 Look at this.
00:56:25.900 We're saying goodbye to Jimmy Carter
00:56:26.860 and Joe Biden at the same time.
00:56:28.640 Two worst presidents in the history of the country.
00:56:32.300 Some of the,
00:56:33.080 and even the Democrats,
00:56:34.280 even Democrats are admitting
00:56:35.500 Joe Biden failed big time.
00:56:37.540 And you have to hear it.
00:56:39.060 I have it for you coming up.
00:56:40.680 Garrett Lewis in for Glenn Beck
00:56:42.160 on the Glenn Beck program.
00:56:43.180 The new year is a time of reflection
00:56:47.420 on the past year
00:56:48.440 and hope for the year to come.
00:56:50.240 Last year was a turbulent time
00:56:51.700 for Israel and the Jewish people.
00:56:53.880 The devastating and ongoing multi-front war,
00:56:56.280 an unprecedented rise in global anti-Semitism,
00:56:58.900 and the loss of many Jewish lives.
00:57:01.020 But there has also been an uprising
00:57:02.520 of love and support from you,
00:57:04.200 the listeners,

00:57:20.000 have been provided to evacuees

00:57:25.000 has been distributed to first responders

00:57:28.240 There is still more work to do.

00:57:55.100 Garrett Lewis with you
00:57:56.360 in for Glenn Beck
00:57:57.420 on the Glenn Beck program.
00:57:58.720 You can follow me on social media
00:58:01.040 at Garrett Lewis,
00:58:02.560 two R's, one T.
00:58:04.120 If you do two R's, two T's,
00:58:05.680 you'll get a weatherman
00:58:06.900 out of Northwest Arkansas.
00:58:08.360 I'm not making that up.
00:58:09.180 Again, that guy has received
00:58:10.760 a lot of backlash
00:58:12.340 from people that don't like me
00:58:14.240 over the years.
00:58:15.940 So two R's, one T,
00:58:17.280 blame my parents.
00:58:18.700 Garrett Lewis,
00:58:19.620 you'll find me there
00:58:20.260 on Instagram and X,
00:58:22.220 Garrett Lewis Radio on Facebook,
00:58:24.400 Garrett Lewis,
00:58:25.440 at Garrett Lewis on Truth Social.
00:58:26.860 So we have,
00:58:27.760 there's a lot of options for you.
00:58:29.340 It's just pretty much Garrett Lewis.
00:58:31.860 So Joe Biden,
00:58:33.520 and this is just awesome.
00:58:34.640 This is the theme, right?
00:58:36.160 Democrats are trying to figure out
00:58:37.140 why they lost,
00:58:37.840 how did they lose,
00:58:38.740 what is going on?
00:58:40.020 And it was the open border,
00:58:41.200 even though Democrats
00:58:41.820 still don't get it, right?
00:58:43.620 They still don't get it.
00:58:45.060 And of course,
00:58:45.500 we have the great news
00:58:46.660 that Kamala is not going away.
00:58:49.380 Kamala is coming back.
00:58:50.700 Simone Sanders,
00:58:51.520 if you missed this,
00:58:52.240 Simone Sanders,
00:58:53.220 a top advisor to Kamala,
00:58:55.180 went on MSNBC.
00:58:56.500 Nobody watched it.
00:58:57.340 I get it.
00:58:57.840 She said this.
00:58:58.560 I don't think the world
00:58:59.540 has seen the last
00:59:00.420 of Vice President Kamala Harris.
00:59:01.680 I don't know how
00:59:02.540 she will show up again,
00:59:04.000 but she is a young politician
00:59:06.340 who garnered over 75 million votes
00:59:08.900 in this election,
00:59:09.560 and she will be back.
00:59:11.880 She's 60.
00:59:12.920 She's young.
00:59:14.340 She's young.
00:59:16.080 Nancy Pelosi's 84.
00:59:18.260 Joe Biden is mostly dead.
00:59:21.240 She's young.
00:59:22.600 Bernie Sanders is,
00:59:23.900 what is it,
00:59:24.320 85, 80 something?
00:59:25.680 Democrats, they are.
00:59:29.680 A lot of these politicians,
00:59:30.420 they just want to die in office.
00:59:31.560 I mean, Dianne Feinstein,
00:59:32.540 oh my God.
00:59:33.080 Remember, look,
00:59:33.760 you just had a Republican
00:59:34.540 congresswoman in Texas.
00:59:36.900 She has been missing for months.
00:59:38.500 Nobody could find out
00:59:39.200 where she was.
00:59:40.740 And a local reporter
00:59:41.680 down in the Dallas area
00:59:42.900 did a little searching
00:59:44.180 and found her living.
00:59:46.100 Kay Granger,
00:59:46.840 I believe her name is.
00:59:47.400 They found her living
00:59:48.580 in a nursing home
00:59:52.640 for Alzheimer's patients.
00:59:53.780 and nobody told
00:59:55.780 any of the constituents
00:59:56.840 that she is there
00:59:59.800 and she was still
01:00:00.720 a congresswoman.
01:00:02.100 She's been there for months.
01:00:04.820 Anyway,
01:00:06.380 why did,
01:00:08.660 and we need more Kamala
01:00:09.760 because if the best
01:00:10.940 they have is Kamala,
01:00:12.160 we are good.
01:00:14.200 This is so awesome.
01:00:16.280 I mean, look,
01:00:16.580 we got rid of the rhinos.
01:00:18.340 We're trying to get rid
01:00:18.880 of the rhinos.
01:00:19.560 What are the Democrats doing?
01:00:20.340 They're not getting rid
01:00:20.860 of anybody
01:00:21.340 because they can't.
01:00:22.760 They are controlled.
01:00:24.380 So why did Joe Biden lose?
01:00:26.560 How did he lose?
01:00:27.420 How did Kamala lose?
01:00:28.440 How did the Democrats lose?
01:00:31.340 Border,
01:00:32.580 the economy,
01:00:33.920 everything that they
01:00:34.560 pretty much did.
01:00:35.820 Okay?
01:00:37.080 Pretty much
01:00:37.920 everything.
01:00:40.100 And I guess the left,
01:00:42.220 the media,
01:00:42.540 they're finally admitting
01:00:43.360 Joe Biden was a failure.
01:00:44.960 Now,
01:00:45.180 you notice Politico
01:00:46.280 had a story about this
01:00:47.340 and Politico,
01:00:48.120 they did not,
01:00:48.960 Politico.com,
01:00:49.540 they didn't report
01:00:50.840 that Joe Biden has failed
01:00:52.280 and Kabbalah has failed
01:00:53.400 with all of their policies
01:00:55.040 and initiatives
01:00:55.680 before the election.
01:00:57.040 But now that
01:00:58.380 they're going away,
01:01:00.300 now they're writing,
01:01:01.940 they're reporting,
01:01:02.540 man,
01:01:02.800 I guess it just didn't
01:01:03.580 really go as well
01:01:04.600 as we needed.
01:01:06.220 So,
01:01:06.920 the Politico story says
01:01:08.320 Biden spent the first
01:01:09.300 half of his presidency
01:01:10.620 enacting plans
01:01:12.660 to put
01:01:13.160 at least
01:01:14.300 $1.6 trillion
01:01:15.880 to transform
01:01:17.040 our economy
01:01:17.680 into a clean energy
01:01:19.640 revolution.
01:01:22.040 All that did,
01:01:22.880 of course,
01:01:23.200 was add to the debt
01:01:23.920 and cause inflation.
01:01:26.160 Yep.
01:01:27.900 And there are apparently
01:01:28.940 hundreds of billion dollars,
01:01:30.260 billions of dollars left,
01:01:31.060 so we should
01:01:31.640 take those
01:01:32.320 and pay off debt
01:01:33.100 and just enough is enough,
01:01:34.340 right?
01:01:34.520 Give me my money back.
01:01:36.460 So,
01:01:37.180 again,
01:01:38.640 this is hilarious
01:01:39.360 that the Lefty Politico
01:01:40.960 website
01:01:41.560 now after the election
01:01:43.520 reports
01:01:44.360 it's a wide-ranging examination
01:01:46.020 of Biden's spending
01:01:48.200 and tax policies,
01:01:49.380 it shows signs
01:01:50.480 that his efforts
01:01:51.100 could leave a lasting mark,
01:01:52.660 but
01:01:52.780 his agenda
01:01:54.200 has yet to take hold.
01:01:56.300 He put
01:01:56.620 money
01:01:57.380 for everything,
01:01:59.100 right?
01:01:59.360 Batteries,
01:01:59.920 solar cells,
01:02:00.420 computer chips,
01:02:01.780 clean water,
01:02:02.600 supposedly.
01:02:03.300 And what did he get?
01:02:04.240 A failure.
01:02:05.380 Do you remember?
01:02:07.280 He put
01:02:07.720 40,
01:02:08.200 he put Camel in charge,
01:02:09.640 $42 billion
01:02:10.600 to expand
01:02:11.300 broadband internet service
01:02:12.600 and not one household
01:02:14.060 has ever been connected
01:02:14.880 to it.
01:02:15.840 42 billion?
01:02:18.980 $7.5 billion
01:02:20.260 for those electric
01:02:21.040 car chargers?
01:02:23.260 Do you know
01:02:24.100 how many he has?
01:02:26.680 47.
01:02:27.800 $7.5 billion.
01:02:29.440 It was
01:02:29.740 47 stations
01:02:31.040 in only 15 states.
01:02:33.040 But do you know
01:02:33.860 why
01:02:34.320 they didn't build
01:02:35.620 that many electric
01:02:36.420 car charging stations?
01:02:38.620 Oh,
01:02:39.580 it is so good.
01:02:41.400 It is so
01:02:42.420 good.
01:02:43.220 And I'm going
01:02:44.640 to tell you
01:02:45.340 why.
01:02:47.280 It's like
01:02:47.800 they're eating
01:02:48.260 their own.
01:02:49.160 They couldn't do it
01:02:49.940 because
01:02:50.240 they're lefties.
01:02:51.740 I have it for you

01:04:33.560 on the Glenn Beck program.
01:04:35.620 Thank you for hanging out
01:04:36.580 with me.
01:04:37.020 Happy New Year.
01:04:38.600 It's going to be a good one.
01:04:41.120 It better be a good one.
01:04:41.980 We work too damn hard
01:04:42.840 to not have it be a good one,
01:04:43.900 right?
01:04:44.160 I do the afternoon show
01:04:45.320 in Arizona
01:04:46.660 on KFYI in Phoenix,
01:04:48.580 KNST in Tucson.
01:04:50.040 You can follow me
01:04:51.000 at Garrett Lewis
01:04:51.580 on Instagram and X
01:04:52.960 and at Garrett Lewis
01:04:55.540 at Truth Social
01:04:56.140 and Garrett Lewis Radio
01:04:57.880 on Facebook.
01:04:59.420 On Facebook.
01:05:00.720 So I was just telling you
01:05:02.360 the failures, right?
01:05:03.820 Joe Biden,
01:05:04.500 the Democrats,
01:05:05.240 they're giant failures.
01:05:06.460 Why would the media
01:05:07.320 ever, ever, ever
01:05:09.100 report the failures
01:05:10.660 before the election?
01:05:12.520 Now that the Democrats
01:05:13.560 have lost,
01:05:14.960 now the media
01:05:16.240 is admitting,
01:05:18.040 man,
01:05:18.200 we didn't really
01:05:18.840 ask enough questions
01:05:20.100 about Joe Biden's
01:05:20.860 mental state
01:05:21.480 and, oh,
01:05:22.860 oh,
01:05:23.160 some of these giant
01:05:24.100 trillion plus dollar
01:05:25.560 spending programs
01:05:26.560 to green America,
01:05:28.480 supposedly green America.
01:05:29.620 I hate that.
01:05:30.100 I don't even say
01:05:30.760 it greens America.
01:05:31.500 It's just a scam.
01:05:33.080 Those haven't worked either.
01:05:35.200 Oh, again,
01:05:35.680 where was your reporting
01:05:36.620 before the election?
01:05:38.720 You can't hate
01:05:39.940 the media enough.
01:05:41.620 You just,
01:05:42.140 you simply can't.
01:05:43.200 Okay?
01:05:43.480 It's impossible.
01:05:45.720 It's impossible.
01:05:47.360 So, remember,
01:05:48.500 42 billion
01:05:49.240 to expand broadband
01:05:51.440 and not one household
01:05:54.240 was ever connected.
01:05:55.180 Good job, Kamala.
01:05:56.340 And they're bragging.
01:05:56.880 We're going to bring
01:05:57.300 Kamala back.
01:05:58.080 She's young for us.
01:05:58.940 She's only 60.
01:06:01.300 Seven and a half billion
01:06:02.520 to get electric
01:06:03.540 vehicle chargers installed.
01:06:06.160 47 stations
01:06:07.280 have been installed
01:06:08.280 in 15 states.
01:06:09.640 That's it.
01:06:10.220 By the way,
01:06:10.480 they break easily.
01:06:11.360 I know people
01:06:11.740 with electric cars
01:06:12.500 and they're awful.
01:06:15.180 So, why is this happening?
01:06:17.200 Why is this happening?
01:06:18.580 When it comes
01:06:19.240 to electric vehicle chargers,
01:06:20.460 why are they failing so much?
01:06:22.260 This is the best right here.
01:06:23.520 This is the best
01:06:24.220 from the transportation website,
01:06:27.500 from the transportation.gov.
01:06:31.340 If you want to put in,
01:06:32.620 like if your company,
01:06:33.980 because they don't just,
01:06:34.700 the government's not going
01:06:35.260 to just put them in,
01:06:35.740 they're going to give
01:06:36.140 companies money
01:06:36.900 to install
01:06:38.080 the electric chargers.
01:06:39.020 That's what the
01:06:39.560 seven and a half billion
01:06:40.340 is for, right?
01:06:41.360 So, you have to qualify
01:06:42.320 for a grant
01:06:43.140 to get paid
01:06:43.740 by the federal government
01:06:44.560 to then install
01:06:45.440 the electric charger.
01:06:47.060 And like any other contractor,
01:06:48.440 right?
01:06:48.660 I mean, you want to,
01:06:49.340 you want to make a profit
01:06:50.300 on that.
01:06:52.240 So, to qualify,
01:06:53.140 this is from
01:06:53.640 the transportation.gov website.
01:06:57.260 In order to qualify
01:06:58.260 for a grant
01:06:59.100 to install
01:07:00.200 the EV chargers,
01:07:01.580 you have to be
01:07:03.000 full DEI.
01:07:03.860 applicants must demonstrate
01:07:08.240 how meaningful
01:07:09.380 public involvement,
01:07:12.140 inclusive of
01:07:13.180 disadvantaged communities,
01:07:14.660 will occur
01:07:16.380 throughout a project's
01:07:17.620 life cycle.
01:07:21.380 What?
01:07:24.720 Yeah.
01:07:25.680 You can't be like,
01:07:26.680 listen,
01:07:26.960 we can install
01:07:27.480 X amount of chargers
01:07:28.380 for this price.
01:07:29.180 We're good.
01:07:30.160 That's how it's
01:07:30.740 supposed to work.
01:07:31.380 But I guess
01:07:32.380 the real reason
01:07:33.060 is not just
01:07:33.640 that electric cars
01:07:34.260 are stupid.
01:07:35.600 In my estimation,
01:07:36.860 I just,
01:07:37.200 it's just not necessary.
01:07:39.480 But you do,
01:07:40.360 you do you.
01:07:41.920 The Biden regime
01:07:43.180 said if you want
01:07:44.020 to qualify
01:07:44.500 for the money
01:07:45.100 to install this,
01:07:45.920 to make money,
01:07:46.440 you have to demonstrate
01:07:47.340 how meaningful
01:07:48.380 public involvement,
01:07:50.120 inclusive of
01:07:51.020 disadvantaged communities,
01:07:52.360 will occur
01:07:53.780 throughout a project's
01:07:55.420 life.
01:07:57.000 What?
01:07:57.520 What?
01:07:57.600 What in the Sam,
01:08:00.060 you know what is,
01:08:00.980 what is going on?
01:08:03.740 That's crazy.
01:08:06.980 Nobody even knows
01:08:08.060 what that means.
01:08:13.720 What is public
01:08:14.700 involvement?
01:08:15.960 So they basically
01:08:16.680 want you to put
01:08:17.420 in a disadvantaged
01:08:18.020 community.
01:08:19.200 So they want you
01:08:19.920 to put in a
01:08:20.360 socioeconomic,
01:08:21.540 they want you to
01:08:21.780 put in a poor
01:08:22.140 community.
01:08:22.560 Do a lot of
01:08:23.300 poor communities
01:08:23.920 have extremely
01:08:25.760 expensive cars?
01:08:27.780 Good luck
01:08:28.380 finding a cheap
01:08:29.000 car to begin
01:08:29.460 with than a
01:08:29.880 cheap electric
01:08:30.400 vehicle?
01:08:31.600 And you're
01:08:32.180 going to have
01:08:32.460 to put charging
01:08:33.760 stations there?
01:08:37.420 And you'll
01:08:38.060 install it,
01:08:38.700 they'll pay for it,
01:08:39.260 and then you have
01:08:39.800 to make money
01:08:40.260 by people using
01:08:41.080 it?
01:08:41.480 Nobody's going
01:08:41.880 to use it.
01:08:43.500 So the Department
01:08:44.340 of Transportation
01:08:44.880 was going full
01:08:45.840 DEI,
01:08:46.860 which is why
01:08:48.420 they could only
01:08:49.720 install 47
01:08:51.660 charging stations
01:08:52.920 in 15 states.
01:08:53.900 I mean,
01:08:56.660 I do research,
01:08:58.940 my talk shows
01:08:59.420 is what I do,
01:09:00.040 I'm lucky enough
01:09:00.460 to do it,
01:09:01.740 and I'm sure
01:09:02.120 a lot of talk
01:09:02.680 show hosts,
01:09:03.160 and you may
01:09:03.480 have heard them,
01:09:03.900 and I'm sure
01:09:04.160 Glenn talked
01:09:04.640 about it too,
01:09:05.580 we sat back
01:09:06.300 and at the
01:09:06.700 time I think
01:09:07.120 it was like
01:09:07.460 eight charging
01:09:08.380 stations were
01:09:09.000 installed.
01:09:09.700 Now it's up
01:09:10.060 to 47,
01:09:10.720 and we're like,
01:09:11.220 God,
01:09:11.400 the government
01:09:11.680 is just so
01:09:12.140 stupid.
01:09:12.640 It's not just
01:09:13.200 because the
01:09:13.640 government is
01:09:14.080 just so inept
01:09:14.880 and slow
01:09:15.280 and bureaucratic,
01:09:16.140 I mean,
01:09:16.460 it is,
01:09:16.960 it's like times
01:09:17.500 a million now.
01:09:18.200 How do you
01:09:22.640 answer that?
01:09:24.800 The Department
01:09:25.640 of Transportation
01:09:26.260 notes it should
01:09:27.360 involve,
01:09:28.200 quote,
01:09:28.340 intentional outreach
01:09:29.660 to underserved
01:09:31.300 communities.
01:09:35.100 So there you
01:09:35.940 have it.
01:09:37.340 And now this
01:09:38.500 is why
01:09:39.180 Joe Biden
01:09:42.620 and the Dems,
01:09:44.300 this is exactly
01:09:46.940 why
01:09:47.620 they lost.
01:09:52.420 Good luck
01:09:53.060 with that.
01:09:55.820 Again,
01:09:56.380 none of this
01:09:57.080 was ever
01:09:57.600 reported
01:09:58.060 beforehand.
01:10:00.220 Okay?
01:10:01.160 None of it
01:10:01.740 was ever
01:10:02.000 reported
01:10:02.280 beforehand.
01:10:02.680 But now
01:10:03.060 that they
01:10:03.280 lost,
01:10:03.620 now we'll
01:10:03.900 talk about
01:10:04.300 the failures.
01:10:05.060 Now we'll
01:10:05.300 talk about
01:10:05.680 how inept
01:10:06.980 and stupid
01:10:07.480 and everything.
01:10:08.840 All these
01:10:09.280 stupid,
01:10:09.840 you know,
01:10:10.080 they called
01:10:10.720 it the
01:10:11.020 Inflation
01:10:11.460 Reduction
01:10:11.880 Act.
01:10:12.220 It was
01:10:12.480 the Green
01:10:12.880 New Deal.
01:10:13.380 That's
01:10:13.540 what it
01:10:13.760 was.
01:10:15.380 That's
01:10:15.740 what it
01:10:15.940 was.
01:10:17.620 And they
01:10:18.240 pointed out
01:10:18.560 how Biden
01:10:19.020 has failed.
01:10:23.160 Joe Biden
01:10:24.000 was supposed
01:10:24.420 to have a
01:10:24.840 50% cut
01:10:25.760 in climate
01:10:27.620 emissions.
01:10:28.760 Wasn't even
01:10:29.280 close.
01:10:30.380 They're just
01:10:31.040 literally talking
01:10:31.620 about his
01:10:31.880 failures.
01:10:32.260 Why wouldn't
01:10:32.520 they talk
01:10:32.820 about the
01:10:33.100 failures of
01:10:33.580 the first
01:10:34.180 four years
01:10:34.700 when he
01:10:35.360 was running?
01:10:37.580 Wouldn't
01:10:37.780 that be
01:10:38.020 nice?
01:10:38.780 Bunch of
01:10:39.280 liars.
01:10:39.740 Can't hate
01:10:40.520 the media
01:10:40.900 enough.
01:10:41.460 You know,
01:10:41.640 something else
01:10:42.080 that happened
01:10:42.460 to where I
01:10:43.540 am in
01:10:43.740 Arizona in
01:10:46.040 Anthem,
01:10:46.540 which is in
01:10:48.020 the West
01:10:48.420 Valley of
01:10:48.900 Phoenix,
01:10:49.280 Northwest
01:10:49.500 Valley of
01:10:50.080 Phoenix.
01:10:51.120 You want to
01:10:51.820 talk about
01:10:52.120 DEI going
01:10:53.000 full crazy
01:10:54.000 just in
01:10:55.060 case you
01:10:55.480 didn't
01:10:55.900 know.
01:10:58.080 The chip,
01:10:58.920 you ever
01:10:59.040 hear the
01:10:59.260 chips
01:10:59.460 project?
01:11:00.400 That's where
01:11:01.040 Joe Biden
01:11:01.600 said,
01:11:01.900 I'm going
01:11:02.020 to take
01:11:02.340 about $8
01:11:03.240 billion of
01:11:04.260 your money
01:11:04.780 and give
01:11:06.140 it out to
01:11:06.700 Intel and
01:11:07.480 others and
01:11:07.940 whatever else
01:11:08.480 to build
01:11:08.940 a giant
01:11:09.520 chips facility
01:11:10.560 to make
01:11:10.980 our own
01:11:11.540 processing
01:11:12.880 chips,
01:11:13.660 microchips,
01:11:14.400 things like
01:11:14.760 that.
01:11:17.980 Well,
01:11:18.680 it's taken
01:11:19.400 a very
01:11:19.960 long time
01:11:20.980 to get
01:11:22.040 this going
01:11:22.760 and apparently
01:11:23.900 the reason
01:11:24.460 why it's
01:11:24.840 taken this
01:11:25.280 long as
01:11:25.720 well is,
01:11:27.060 I hope you
01:11:27.920 can guess
01:11:28.380 it after I
01:11:28.880 just told
01:11:29.320 you,
01:11:29.540 yeah,
01:11:29.700 it's DEI.
01:11:31.480 This is
01:11:31.980 the Democrats,
01:11:33.640 they want
01:11:34.560 to accomplish
01:11:35.160 these things
01:11:35.860 but they
01:11:36.820 are such
01:11:37.700 losers
01:11:38.640 and they're
01:11:40.360 all into
01:11:40.660 feelings and
01:11:41.460 emotion and
01:11:42.180 so-called
01:11:42.660 fairness but
01:11:43.440 they're not
01:11:43.820 fair,
01:11:44.920 that they
01:11:45.420 kill their
01:11:46.080 own ideas.
01:11:47.260 They can't
01:11:48.380 actually establish
01:11:49.380 goals.
01:11:50.740 They don't
01:11:51.000 know how
01:11:51.220 business works.
01:11:54.140 I think
01:11:54.900 Biden gave
01:11:55.540 $8 billion
01:11:55.980 to Intel,
01:11:56.580 by the way,
01:11:56.920 Intel recently
01:11:57.500 laid off how
01:11:58.020 many Americans?
01:12:00.140 There's $39
01:12:01.060 billion in
01:12:03.120 the CHIPS
01:12:03.520 Act for
01:12:04.460 grants,
01:12:05.000 right?
01:12:05.260 We need
01:12:05.620 semiconductors,
01:12:06.520 we need the
01:12:07.160 factories,
01:12:07.700 we need to
01:12:07.940 be able to
01:12:08.220 build these,
01:12:08.920 this is what
01:12:09.520 we need,
01:12:09.980 this is what
01:12:10.400 needs to
01:12:10.780 happen.
01:12:11.500 So the
01:12:11.840 reason that
01:12:12.820 it has taken
01:12:13.600 a long time
01:12:14.660 is because
01:12:15.600 it's loaded
01:12:16.320 with DEI
01:12:17.460 stuff.
01:12:19.520 This CHIPS
01:12:20.140 Act,
01:12:20.600 and you'll
01:12:21.100 hear some
01:12:21.600 politicians
01:12:22.140 brag about,
01:12:22.880 oh,
01:12:22.980 I'm on the
01:12:23.400 CHIPS Act,
01:12:23.840 we're not
01:12:24.100 going to be
01:12:24.540 held hostage
01:12:25.560 anymore,
01:12:25.980 we saw it
01:12:26.340 happen with
01:12:26.720 the China
01:12:27.060 virus,
01:12:27.520 we couldn't
01:12:27.840 make anything,
01:12:28.480 we were
01:12:28.680 short on it,
01:12:29.260 we'll do
01:12:29.620 it ourselves.
01:12:30.820 Did you
01:12:31.060 know the
01:12:31.320 CHIPS Act
01:12:31.820 itself has
01:12:32.580 19 sections
01:12:34.040 aimed at
01:12:34.880 helping minority
01:12:35.540 groups?
01:12:35.940 There's
01:12:39.100 one part
01:12:39.780 of this
01:12:40.080 law,
01:12:40.460 the CHIPS
01:12:40.740 Act,
01:12:41.000 that creates
01:12:41.400 a chief
01:12:41.740 diversity
01:12:42.240 officer at
01:12:42.780 the National
01:12:43.200 Science
01:12:43.620 Foundation.
01:12:44.800 What?
01:12:45.180 What?
01:12:45.280 There's a
01:12:48.440 section of
01:12:48.960 the CHIPS Act
01:12:49.460 called the
01:12:49.840 Opportunity
01:12:50.520 and Inclusion,
01:12:51.280 right?
01:12:51.500 It talks about
01:12:52.480 the Department
01:12:52.940 of Commerce,
01:12:53.880 it must work
01:12:54.680 with minority
01:12:55.300 owned businesses
01:12:56.040 and make sure
01:12:56.540 chip makers
01:12:57.140 increase the
01:12:58.280 participation of
01:12:59.100 economically
01:12:59.680 disadvantaged
01:13:00.480 individuals in
01:13:01.740 the semiconductor
01:13:02.280 workforce.
01:13:04.000 Yeah,
01:13:04.420 this is why
01:13:05.180 this is not
01:13:05.840 taken off.
01:13:07.440 We're America,
01:13:08.420 we need to
01:13:08.780 cut red tape,
01:13:10.020 we need to
01:13:10.420 cut regulations,
01:13:11.280 we need to
01:13:11.560 just build.
01:13:12.360 That's what
01:13:12.820 we need to
01:13:13.420 do,
01:13:14.120 but we need
01:13:14.600 to build.
01:13:15.480 But here's
01:13:16.460 the problem
01:13:16.860 also.
01:13:17.660 Not only is
01:13:18.760 it hard for
01:13:19.540 these businesses,
01:13:21.740 right,
01:13:21.900 these companies
01:13:22.280 are going to
01:13:22.600 build the
01:13:23.100 chips,
01:13:23.400 it's actually
01:13:23.960 hard for
01:13:24.520 construction
01:13:25.140 companies to
01:13:26.480 build the
01:13:27.040 actual factories
01:13:28.020 that are going
01:13:28.400 to build the
01:13:28.820 chips because
01:13:29.780 there's so
01:13:30.240 much DEI
01:13:31.000 in there.
01:13:33.040 In this
01:13:33.980 CHIPS Act,
01:13:34.900 I don't know
01:13:35.220 if you know
01:13:35.560 this or not,
01:13:36.560 but it
01:13:37.740 requires chip
01:13:38.540 makers to
01:13:39.220 submit detailed
01:13:40.180 plans to
01:13:40.800 educate,
01:13:41.460 employ,
01:13:42.400 and train
01:13:43.000 lots of
01:13:43.520 women and
01:13:43.980 people of
01:13:44.420 color and
01:13:45.600 justice-involved
01:13:47.000 individuals.
01:13:47.600 Do you know
01:13:47.800 what a
01:13:48.000 justice-involved
01:13:48.740 individual is?
01:13:50.720 An ex-con.
01:13:53.700 That's what
01:13:54.320 it is.
01:13:56.300 An ex-con.
01:13:58.220 They have to
01:13:59.180 employ all
01:13:59.880 those people
01:14:00.400 or they're not
01:14:00.800 going to get
01:14:01.120 the grants to
01:14:01.840 actually do
01:14:02.580 the work.
01:14:04.120 That's what
01:14:04.720 it comes down
01:14:05.300 to.
01:14:07.520 And there's
01:14:08.240 construction
01:14:08.680 companies that
01:14:09.300 are saying,
01:14:09.800 we can't even
01:14:10.800 do this because
01:14:11.500 we can't find
01:14:12.300 enough people.
01:14:15.100 We can't
01:14:15.880 find enough
01:14:16.280 people to
01:14:17.040 work at our
01:14:17.520 companies,
01:14:18.540 construction,
01:14:19.120 and even the
01:14:19.680 chip makers
01:14:20.080 themselves.
01:14:23.880 There's a
01:14:24.520 company called
01:14:25.060 TSMC,
01:14:26.020 they're Taiwanese.
01:14:26.720 they couldn't
01:14:28.820 find enough
01:14:29.780 skilled workers
01:14:31.040 to fit every
01:14:32.600 single requirement
01:14:33.720 that the DEI
01:14:35.600 was demanding
01:14:37.100 under Joe Biden.
01:14:37.900 They had to
01:14:38.660 fly 500 people
01:14:39.480 from Taiwan.
01:14:40.840 And the local
01:14:41.580 workers were
01:14:42.080 mad.
01:14:42.900 You say we're
01:14:43.300 not skilled
01:14:43.680 enough?
01:14:44.040 And they said,
01:14:44.640 yeah, we're not,
01:14:45.240 you're not,
01:14:46.040 we need to have
01:14:46.640 all these other
01:14:47.680 people to do it.
01:14:48.340 And these
01:14:48.840 people that
01:14:49.360 were ex-cons,
01:14:51.220 they don't have
01:14:51.600 the same skills
01:14:52.380 that we need
01:14:52.820 to do this.
01:14:56.380 So this is why
01:14:57.300 this has never
01:14:57.820 happened.
01:14:58.280 And it makes
01:14:58.780 sense now,
01:14:59.280 doesn't it?
01:15:01.360 Yeah, like,
01:15:02.260 here we go.
01:15:03.260 The chip makers
01:15:04.040 that then take
01:15:04.840 the grant money,
01:15:05.540 they qualify for
01:15:06.280 it, they are
01:15:06.800 required by the
01:15:07.640 Biden regime
01:15:08.280 in this CHIPS Act
01:15:09.500 to hire
01:15:10.120 construction
01:15:10.620 companies that
01:15:11.920 have plenty of
01:15:12.940 female construction
01:15:13.760 workers, even
01:15:15.240 though less than
01:15:15.700 10% of American
01:15:16.580 construction workers
01:15:17.460 are women.
01:15:18.360 They have to
01:15:18.600 have a certain
01:15:18.960 amount of female
01:15:19.560 construction workers
01:15:20.380 or they can't
01:15:20.820 hire them.
01:15:21.580 Can't get it
01:15:22.060 going.
01:15:22.660 They have to
01:15:23.040 make sure they
01:15:23.340 have childcare
01:15:23.820 for the female
01:15:24.380 construction workers
01:15:25.200 and the engineers
01:15:25.780 that don't even
01:15:26.340 exist yet.
01:15:30.560 They can't,
01:15:31.380 they, it, it,
01:15:32.340 they were so
01:15:33.060 delayed and it's
01:15:34.400 all because of
01:15:35.120 the government.
01:15:35.780 It's all because
01:15:36.480 of them.
01:15:37.660 Yeah, this is,
01:15:39.700 this is why
01:15:41.200 the Dems lost.
01:15:42.880 Even when they
01:15:43.620 have these ideas
01:15:44.380 and goals,
01:15:45.020 they can't even
01:15:45.740 actually execute
01:15:47.100 them because
01:15:47.740 of their own
01:15:48.580 stupidity.
01:15:50.420 It should be
01:15:51.120 talked about
01:15:51.580 everywhere.
01:15:52.360 I mean, this
01:15:52.940 is, this is
01:15:54.300 outstanding stuff,
01:15:55.600 isn't it?
01:15:56.000 It's outstanding
01:15:56.640 stuff.
01:15:59.260 This is why we
01:16:00.040 don't have
01:16:00.360 electric car
01:16:00.900 charging stations.
01:16:02.900 This is, and
01:16:04.280 it's, and it's
01:16:04.900 government crap.
01:16:05.620 Like, who from
01:16:06.700 the government's
01:16:07.200 never had a job,
01:16:07.860 right?
01:16:08.040 They, they write
01:16:08.520 this.
01:16:09.720 You must
01:16:10.000 demonstrate how
01:16:10.640 meaningful public
01:16:11.480 involvement,
01:16:12.820 inclusive of
01:16:13.460 disadvantaged communities
01:16:14.400 will occur
01:16:14.860 throughout a
01:16:15.220 project's
01:16:15.640 life cycle.
01:16:16.840 So the
01:16:17.200 electric car
01:16:17.980 charging station
01:16:18.680 demonstrate how
01:16:19.340 it's going to
01:16:19.640 be meaningful to
01:16:20.260 the public
01:16:20.780 throughout its
01:16:23.480 life.
01:16:24.040 Oh, God,
01:16:24.680 incredible.
01:16:25.140 I absolutely
01:16:25.820 love it.
01:16:26.460 So much more.
01:16:27.240 We got to get
01:16:27.700 into, I'll get
01:16:28.940 into this too in
01:16:29.380 the next hour.
01:16:30.400 Apparently, lefties
01:16:31.860 love, liberals
01:16:32.500 love voting to
01:16:34.500 raise minimum
01:16:35.060 wage, right?
01:16:35.660 But there's a
01:16:36.200 lefty town that
01:16:37.680 has now said,
01:16:38.580 you know what,
01:16:39.040 this minimum wage
01:16:39.720 that we voted
01:16:40.100 for is so high,
01:16:41.060 we are not going
01:16:42.340 to tip anymore.
01:16:44.180 Excuse me.
01:16:46.020 Those kind
01:16:46.960 lefties, those
01:16:48.140 kind ones, that's
01:16:50.100 coming up at the
01:16:51.620 top of the next
01:16:52.600 hour.
01:16:56.260 They're trying to
01:16:57.240 scare us here in
01:16:58.480 Arizona.
01:16:59.880 Talked about the
01:17:00.340 bird flu yesterday.
01:17:01.380 Well, the biggest
01:17:01.860 county in Arizona
01:17:02.720 is now putting out
01:17:03.880 major warnings about
01:17:04.960 the bird flu.
01:17:06.140 It is comical.
01:17:07.500 I have that for you
01:17:08.020 coming up.

01:18:44.640 What an honor it is
01:18:45.520 to talk to you.
01:18:47.400 I hope you appreciate
01:18:48.380 it.
01:18:48.680 I do.
01:18:51.260 If you don't like the
01:18:51.920 job I'm doing, you
01:18:52.520 can completely let me
01:18:53.400 know and tell me
01:18:54.140 exactly what you think.
01:18:55.260 My family does it
01:18:55.940 every single day.
01:18:57.500 Hit me up on social
01:18:58.100 media.
01:18:58.440 I'd Garrett Lewis for
01:18:59.020 everything.
01:18:59.740 So, before I get you
01:19:00.840 about the bird flu,
01:19:02.060 I just want to hit you
01:19:02.720 one time because now
01:19:03.380 that you know the
01:19:03.920 reason why the electric
01:19:05.800 car charging stations,
01:19:07.460 seven and a half
01:19:08.000 billion dollars is
01:19:08.820 produced.
01:19:09.180 Now it's, I think,
01:19:09.980 47 chargers in 15
01:19:11.800 states.
01:19:12.620 You know it's all
01:19:13.160 DEI related and
01:19:14.220 craziness about how to
01:19:15.480 apply and get the
01:19:16.260 grant.
01:19:17.580 Flashback to Pete
01:19:18.420 Buttedge, the
01:19:19.800 outgoing transportation
01:19:20.940 secretary.
01:19:22.340 He's a young guy
01:19:23.160 that's a Democrat.
01:19:23.800 They never talk about
01:19:24.340 bringing this guy back,
01:19:25.260 right?
01:19:26.280 He can't really
01:19:27.220 explain why at this
01:19:28.760 time on Face the
01:19:29.420 Nation, back in May,
01:19:30.780 they only had seven or
01:19:31.580 eight charging stations.
01:19:32.800 Listen.
01:19:32.940 The Federal Highway
01:19:35.160 Administration says
01:19:35.980 only seven or eight
01:19:37.140 charging stations have
01:19:38.360 been produced with a
01:19:39.280 seven and a half
01:19:39.820 billion investment that
01:19:41.500 taxpayers made back in
01:19:42.920 2021.
01:19:44.000 Why isn't that
01:19:44.880 happening more quickly?
01:19:46.020 So, the President's
01:19:46.580 goal is to have half a
01:19:47.460 million chargers up by
01:19:48.460 the end of this decade.
01:19:49.740 Now, in order to do a
01:19:50.940 charger, it's more than
01:19:51.880 just plunking a small
01:19:53.780 device into the ground.
01:19:54.920 There's utility work and
01:19:56.080 this is also really a new
01:19:57.840 category of federal
01:19:59.180 investment.
01:19:59.720 But we've been working
01:20:00.820 with each of the 50
01:20:02.040 states.
01:20:02.500 Every one of them is
01:20:03.240 getting formula dollars
01:20:04.280 to do this work,
01:20:05.380 engaging them and the
01:20:06.560 first handful, again, by
01:20:07.940 2030, 500,000 chargers.
01:20:11.800 500,000 in five years.
01:20:14.460 If you do the math, you
01:20:15.520 do the division of that,
01:20:16.460 it's about 7,000 chargers
01:20:18.440 a month and they have
01:20:19.160 47.
01:20:21.420 So, I just hope the
01:20:22.580 money is still there,
01:20:23.900 okay?
01:20:24.460 And it's not like a
01:20:25.300 cylindrous scam again where
01:20:26.600 people are just claiming
01:20:27.780 they're going to do it,
01:20:28.360 they get money, they never
01:20:29.080 do it, nobody ever do it,
01:20:29.720 it tracks it down.
01:20:31.080 But it's money laundering
01:20:32.260 and Democrats and even
01:20:33.100 some Republicans are big
01:20:34.100 on that.
01:20:34.460 That's why they end up
01:20:35.720 being millionaires once
01:20:37.580 they leave Congress.
01:20:38.800 It's that and the
01:20:39.320 insider trading.
01:20:39.900 But other than that,
01:20:40.440 that's really how it
01:20:41.540 works.
01:20:42.840 My gosh, just crazy.
01:20:44.340 So yesterday, where I am
01:20:46.700 in the Phoenix area, there
01:20:49.060 was an alert, an alert
01:20:51.520 from the ABC Phoenix
01:20:53.160 station.
01:20:54.060 Just in Maricopa County
01:20:55.460 officials say the virus
01:20:56.540 link with the bird flu has
01:20:57.420 been detected in county
01:20:59.100 wastewater.
01:21:00.400 County wastewater.
01:21:01.640 Here we go.
01:21:02.840 They are looking at
01:21:03.820 people's wastes.
01:21:06.000 And of course, in this
01:21:06.920 story, you got to go down
01:21:07.940 and down and down and
01:21:08.900 down to it.
01:21:09.700 And they say there have
01:21:10.760 been no detections of the
01:21:11.740 viral strain of dairy
01:21:12.640 cattle in Arizona.
01:21:13.400 Arizona, and it's only been
01:21:14.660 two people.
01:21:15.900 And they say most common
01:21:17.000 way to get it is by
01:21:18.920 basically touching bird
01:21:20.480 crap and dead birds.
01:21:23.220 So you're going to be
01:21:24.700 okay.
01:21:25.540 You're going to be just
01:21:26.520 fine.
01:21:27.060 But they are trying so hard
01:21:28.940 to scare us.
01:21:30.780 Get out of here.
01:21:33.920 It's they actually brought
01:21:35.620 on a heat czar here in
01:21:37.100 Maricopa County in Arizona.
01:21:38.580 I made fun of it and I
01:21:40.400 never heard from the guy
01:21:41.160 again.
01:21:41.420 I'm hoping it had a big
01:21:42.020 impact.
01:21:42.920 More coming up.
01:21:43.580 Garrett Lewis in for
01:21:44.340 Glenn Beck.
01:21:44.940 The Glenn Beck program.

01:22:13.440 Welcome to the fusion of
01:22:39.080 entertainment and enlightenment.
01:22:43.440 This is the Glenn Beck

01:22:47.940 Hello.
01:22:48.820 My name is Garrett Lewis in
01:22:50.560 Arizona sitting in for Glenn
01:22:52.120 Beck right now on the Glenn
01:22:54.040 Beck program.
01:22:57.600 Sending off 2024 and I am so
01:23:00.760 thankful that Trump won and
01:23:02.660 we did well because it would
01:23:05.360 be just a very tough pill to
01:23:07.200 swallow, a tough show to do to
01:23:09.460 try to talk about how 2025 is
01:23:11.360 going to be okay with camel in
01:23:12.800 there.
01:23:12.920 Very thankful for that.
01:23:14.860 One thing I want to see also go
01:23:16.660 away in 2025 is this insane
01:23:20.920 act of tipping for everything.
01:23:24.320 Matter of fact, liberals keep
01:23:25.820 voting for a minimum wage
01:23:26.960 increases.
01:23:27.600 Now liberals realize we can't
01:23:29.460 afford to tip.
01:23:30.360 I have that for you coming up in
01:23:31.800 60 seconds.

01:24:43.480 Garrett Lewis with you for the final
01:24:46.040 hour of 2024.
01:24:47.880 I do the afternoon show in Arizona on
01:24:50.440 KFYI in Phoenix, KNST in Tucson.
01:24:53.700 I'll be back to work in Arizona on
01:24:56.100 Thursday, so I have a whopping one day
01:24:58.520 off.
01:24:58.800 Fantastic, but I'm so happy and so
01:25:00.380 honored to be able to fill in for
01:25:02.100 Glenn and so honored that you are
01:25:03.680 tolerating me and listening.
01:25:05.220 I really do appreciate that.
01:25:07.460 Remember, you can follow me at
01:25:08.360 Garrett Lewis on pretty much
01:25:09.920 everything.
01:25:11.140 X Instagram at Garrett Lewis,
01:25:13.340 truth social at Garrett Lewis,
01:25:14.480 Facebook, Garrett Lewis radio.
01:25:15.600 And I thank you for following me.
01:25:17.300 I'll be entertaining for you.
01:25:18.800 So you look 2025.
01:25:21.400 Can we stop tipping everybody and
01:25:22.680 everything?
01:25:22.980 And I'm a guy, look, I grew up in
01:25:24.380 New York.
01:25:25.000 He is supposed to tip everybody.
01:25:26.540 Remember the scene from My Blue
01:25:27.720 Heaven with Steve Martin and Rick
01:25:29.140 Moranis?
01:25:30.420 Steve Martin was the mob guy.
01:25:31.940 Rick Moranis was giving him a,
01:25:34.400 he was part of the witness
01:25:35.040 protection program.
01:25:35.960 Rick Moranis was the FBI agent.
01:25:37.660 And Steve Martin gave Rick
01:25:39.140 Moranis a tip when he put him in
01:25:40.860 his new house in a new area with a
01:25:42.360 new name.
01:25:43.240 And Rick Moranis said, you don't tip
01:25:44.360 FBI guys.
01:25:45.380 And he said, sure you do.
01:25:47.540 I feel like that's the way it is
01:25:49.180 right now with everything.
01:25:51.540 Why should I give you a tip?
01:25:53.040 You are paid to make me a sandwich
01:25:55.360 like you go to a sandwich place,
01:25:56.980 right?
01:25:57.180 You, you got a coffee.
01:25:59.040 Give me the tip.
01:25:59.920 Like when I go to pick up my
01:26:01.640 Chinese food, um, you are, you
01:26:05.320 are paid for this.
01:26:06.060 Like I grew up working on Long
01:26:08.520 Island at an Italian restaurant.
01:26:10.060 When I was 16 years old, I worked
01:26:11.340 at a pizza place slash Italian
01:26:12.800 restaurant.
01:26:13.140 The front half was a pizza place
01:26:14.500 back half Italian restaurant.
01:26:16.480 I did, but I was a bus boy.
01:26:17.820 I, I also did slices, right?
01:26:20.100 You go to the front and I got paid
01:26:22.560 four bucks an hour, worked the
01:26:23.640 slices.
01:26:24.820 Nobody tipped me when I said, what
01:26:26.600 do you need?
01:26:27.040 They said, give me a slice of
01:26:28.080 cheese.
01:26:28.560 Give me a slice, uh, slice, uh, uh,
01:26:31.000 white, white, white pizza.
01:26:32.140 All right.
01:26:32.440 Put it in there.
01:26:33.000 Heat it up.
01:26:33.400 There you go.
01:26:33.880 Nobody tip is my job.
01:26:35.860 Now everybody expects a tip
01:26:37.460 because Biden inflation has screwed
01:26:40.000 up everything.
01:26:41.040 Everybody needs to make more money
01:26:42.300 and in business owners pass it on
01:26:44.000 to customers.
01:26:44.600 This is crazy.
01:26:46.180 And then, and then, I mean, look
01:26:47.980 you tip, of course, if you get
01:26:49.860 actual service, right?
01:26:51.280 You're a bartender, you're a
01:26:52.900 server, you get tips.
01:26:55.160 When I moved to Arizona in 1998,
01:26:58.620 um, I got a job after two days
01:27:02.060 walking up and down a street in
01:27:04.340 Mesa at a red Robin that no longer
01:27:07.680 exists, but I got a job there and
01:27:10.920 I walked to work.
01:27:13.220 It was about a mile walk there
01:27:15.180 and back until I could afford to
01:27:17.120 buy a car.
01:27:18.400 I worked my butt off.
01:27:19.680 I worked doubles.
01:27:20.800 I picked up other people's shifts.
01:27:22.140 I had nothing else to do.
01:27:23.000 I was saving up to go to college
01:27:23.980 and I got paid $2.13 an hour
01:27:30.220 because you made tips.
01:27:33.200 It's the ultimate, it's the ultimate
01:27:34.880 in capitalism.
01:27:36.020 If I give you really good service,
01:27:38.220 you're going to give me a good tip.
01:27:40.040 I'm going to earn what you give me.
01:27:43.500 And of course, there are times
01:27:44.860 where you get dopes that on a $60
01:27:46.500 bill, they'll leave you a buck.
01:27:48.220 And that's just a great life's
01:27:49.520 lesson that there are jerks in
01:27:50.460 life.
01:27:51.020 It's how it is.
01:27:52.900 I think everybody should work in a
01:27:54.140 restaurant doing something, whether
01:27:55.360 it's a cook, whether it's a, I really
01:27:57.520 like the front of the house of the
01:27:58.500 server, bartender, because you have
01:28:00.620 to deal with people and you get very
01:28:02.440 busy and you have to learn to work
01:28:04.500 while they say, while you're in the
01:28:06.040 weeds, you have to figure this stuff
01:28:07.720 out.
01:28:08.800 So I made $2.13 an hour while I was a
01:28:11.700 server and a bartender.
01:28:13.480 And all right, cool, right?
01:28:14.680 I was, I was in the restaurant business
01:28:17.040 from the mid nineties all the way till
01:28:18.740 about 2002 when I got in a radio and
01:28:23.660 took a major pay cut because that's just
01:28:25.740 how it is.
01:28:28.320 And I happen to be talking to a guy that
01:28:30.540 owns restaurants in Tucson, a great
01:28:32.300 restaurateur, owns three great
01:28:34.580 restaurants in Tucson.
01:28:35.400 And this is going back, I don't know,
01:28:38.120 eight, nine years ago.
01:28:39.760 And I'm talking to him and I had no
01:28:42.180 idea that servers and bartenders got
01:28:44.920 paid a much higher wage.
01:28:46.880 Now they were getting paid.
01:28:49.280 I think it's right now, I think it's
01:28:50.680 like 11 and change an hour.
01:28:52.820 And I think the minimum wage in
01:28:54.140 Arizona is something like 15 bucks an
01:28:55.660 hour, whatever it might be.
01:28:56.580 And he told me, he said, the crazy
01:28:58.280 thing is, he said, is that if, if I'm
01:29:00.480 not busy, the restaurant, me, I have to
01:29:05.120 pay the servers, the difference to the
01:29:07.480 minimum wage.
01:29:08.720 So if they only get a couple of tables,
01:29:10.300 I got to take money out of my pocket
01:29:12.340 and make sure they make at least 15
01:29:13.540 bucks an hour.
01:29:15.600 I said, this is crazy.
01:29:18.440 I said, if it's not busy, you quit, you
01:29:20.280 will get a job at a different restaurant
01:29:21.500 that is busy.
01:29:23.100 He's like, it's all different.
01:29:24.000 I'm like, this is eye opening to me now.
01:29:25.940 And then people are convinced there's
01:29:28.160 leftists that are out there.
01:29:29.480 There's an organization called One Fair
01:29:31.260 Wage.
01:29:32.180 It's led by a Berkeley professor, a
01:29:35.520 hardcore socialist that is out there.
01:29:38.540 And she gets funded by all kinds of
01:29:40.460 people, by the way, lefty groups.
01:29:41.700 I saw that the Woody Johnson
01:29:43.320 Foundation, which supported Trump, gave
01:29:46.240 money to this organization.
01:29:47.760 They go to different states.
01:29:49.200 They've been in Arizona and Michigan
01:29:50.420 and they try to convince voters.
01:29:53.720 They try to get it on a ballot, convince
01:29:55.860 voters to increase the minimum wage for
01:29:58.100 servers.
01:29:58.960 And they basically want to make it like
01:30:00.420 Europe, where servers will get paid a
01:30:04.240 crazy amount of money, 20 bucks an
01:30:06.940 hour, 25 bucks an hour, whatever it
01:30:09.180 might be.
01:30:10.720 But if that happens, guess what?
01:30:12.480 The price of the food has to go up.
01:30:15.080 And that gets passed on to the
01:30:16.480 customer.
01:30:16.940 And guess what's going to happen to
01:30:17.580 that way?
01:30:17.780 The customer is not going to tip.
01:30:19.920 But Democrats, and if you are
01:30:22.340 Republican and voted to increase
01:30:23.680 minimum wage, you are dumb.
01:30:25.860 Um, mostly Democrats vote for this
01:30:29.200 stuff.
01:30:31.540 And it's interesting to see the
01:30:34.400 result.
01:30:34.980 There was a story at the Daily Mail
01:30:36.640 about this.
01:30:38.820 In Seattle.
01:30:41.580 Seattle's as far left as you can
01:30:42.920 imagine.
01:30:43.380 Remember when Seattle was taken over in
01:30:45.020 the summer of love in 2020?
01:30:46.100 It was Chaz and then Chad.
01:30:49.820 They took over like six blocks.
01:30:51.640 These crazy people in Seattle and the
01:30:53.340 mayor, this dopey mayor lady.
01:30:55.440 I forget her name.
01:30:55.960 She was just like, oh, this is fine.
01:30:57.620 It's just great.
01:30:58.380 It's love it.
01:30:59.220 Get out of here.
01:31:00.060 So Seattle, they voted to increase their
01:31:03.420 minimum wage.
01:31:04.820 It's going to happen January 1st.
01:31:06.420 It's going to keep going up.
01:31:07.380 These people keep voting this way from
01:31:09.120 $19.97 an hour to $20.76 an hour.
01:31:15.380 So now that these people are making
01:31:17.080 almost 21 bucks an hour starting
01:31:19.020 tomorrow, all of a sudden the lefties in
01:31:21.580 Seattle are like, uh, I'm not going to
01:31:24.540 tip anymore.
01:31:25.080 really you think
01:31:29.740 in the daily mail article, they talk
01:31:34.080 about, uh, uh, apparently someone who
01:31:36.720 shared a Reddit post on the wage hike
01:31:38.480 picked up steam in Seattle.
01:31:40.640 And they said with Seattle's new minimum
01:31:42.240 wage going into effect really soon, most
01:31:43.980 food industry workers are finally reaching
01:31:45.720 a level playing field.
01:31:46.860 As a result, I'll no longer be tipping
01:31:48.740 more than five to 10%.
01:31:50.420 I'm only doing that if service is
01:31:51.760 exceptional.
01:31:52.640 It's only fair.
01:31:53.600 There you go.
01:31:55.080 Any instance where I'm ordering,
01:31:58.800 bussing my own table, getting my own
01:32:00.420 utensils, et cetera, warrants $0.
01:32:02.380 I'm not tipping at coffee shops anymore.
01:32:05.140 Honestly, that's the way it's going to
01:32:06.300 be.
01:32:08.660 It's reported that Seattle restaurants
01:32:10.380 are going to add on average 45 grand
01:32:12.240 in expenses each month because of the
01:32:15.640 wage increase.
01:32:19.000 This is craziness right here.
01:32:22.520 But it's interesting to me how
01:32:24.040 Democrats who always want to talk about
01:32:25.600 fairness and all this other stuff and
01:32:27.760 they vote this way and now they're not
01:32:29.520 going to tip.
01:32:30.880 Now they're not going to tip.
01:32:32.760 How about them apples?
01:32:35.440 They are done with it.
01:32:36.940 So when I was talking to that restaurant owner in
01:32:42.080 Tucson, he told me that the servers, the staff, they were
01:32:45.760 all about increasing the wage.
01:32:48.380 He goes, then I explained to them, do you know how much
01:32:51.120 money you make right now per hour with tips?
01:32:56.040 You make about $35 to $50 an hour depending on how busy we are.
01:33:03.020 You take this away, you're going to get your $20 an hour, but you know what?
01:33:06.360 People aren't going to tip.
01:33:07.640 Which way are you going to make more?
01:33:08.760 And all of a sudden they said, oh my gosh, you're right.
01:33:10.960 Once they got the emotion out of it, looked at the facts, all of a sudden, they
01:33:16.060 realized this is bad.
01:33:17.700 This is really, really, really bad.
01:33:19.760 And this is where we're going now.
01:33:24.380 When I was a server, I was a hustler, man.
01:33:28.020 So when I first got hired, what happens, at least in my situation when I worked at
01:33:33.960 this Red Robin, is that there was a lead server and then I, right?
01:33:37.720 Because I'm the new guy.
01:33:38.620 I had a small section.
01:33:40.800 We both started at 11 a.m. when the doors opened.
01:33:44.440 And if it was slow, the lead server can cut anybody he wants.
01:33:48.340 Yes, you know, they want to make money.
01:33:50.140 They worked hard.
01:33:50.660 They're the lead server.
01:33:51.800 So I would be the first one cut.
01:33:53.360 Then other servers would come on.
01:33:55.320 And these other people would be like, I don't want to work anymore.
01:33:57.540 I'll pick up your shift.
01:33:58.560 I need to make money.
01:33:59.880 And I would do it over and over and over and over again.
01:34:02.320 It's why to me, working as a server or a bartender, it is the ultimate in
01:34:05.460 capitalism because it really is as close to you again, where the harder you
01:34:09.500 work, the more you're going to make, the better you work, the better the
01:34:12.020 service, the more, the more you can upcharge.
01:34:15.240 You want some onion rings.
01:34:16.100 You want this one.
01:34:16.760 The more you can make.
01:34:18.340 I mean, I remember I would cut the cocktail waitress.
01:34:23.020 I had a full bar.
01:34:23.880 I had 12 tables up in the cocktail lounge and our server.
01:34:27.180 They were lazy people, man.
01:34:28.700 There was every three weeks.
01:34:30.140 These old ladies would come in and play canasta in a section.
01:34:32.600 I would never I'll never forget this when they just sit there and they drink
01:34:36.060 and order some food and the servers would complain.
01:34:37.860 I don't want to deal with them.
01:34:38.780 I'll take care of them.
01:34:39.780 Run down to the bar.
01:34:40.640 I'd get their drinks.
01:34:41.420 You name it.
01:34:41.880 Blah, blah, blah.
01:34:42.380 Well, one day as they're sitting in a section had tall windows.
01:34:47.120 You can see the parking lot.
01:34:47.900 I happen to notice there was a very large man about, I don't know, three, four hundred
01:34:51.120 feet away.
01:34:51.580 I'm like, holy crap.
01:34:53.020 Kind of looks like Shaq.
01:34:55.340 But then I'm thinking, why would Shaq be in Mesa, Arizona at this time at a Red Robin?
01:34:59.900 So I ignored it, went up to the bar making these ladies drinks.
01:35:03.240 30 seconds later, Shaq walks in.
01:35:06.640 It was Shaq.
01:35:07.820 He had to duck to get under the door.
01:35:10.500 The door was huge.
01:35:11.420 It was seven feet.
01:35:12.280 Duck underneath it.
01:35:14.860 Biggest man I've ever seen in my life.
01:35:17.960 As soon as Shaq walked in, I wasn't starstruck.
01:35:22.360 I was just thinking, this guy's loaded.
01:35:25.620 He's in the NBA.
01:35:27.140 He makes a lot of money.
01:35:28.140 He does endorsement.
01:35:30.840 He makes money.
01:35:31.580 I hope he sits at the bar.
01:35:32.580 He walked in, I guess, with his wife.
01:35:34.320 I'm assuming he was a woman and like a 12-year-old kid.
01:35:36.820 I'm like, what's going on here?
01:35:39.220 I'm hoping he sits up in the bar area, man.
01:35:41.440 You know, that's where he's supposed to sit.
01:35:42.560 It's the cool area, the bar area.
01:35:43.800 He sits on the restaurant floor, not on the floor, but where the tables are, right?
01:35:46.580 Just not in the bar area.
01:35:47.920 Okay.
01:35:49.720 And this is before Bidenflation.
01:35:51.400 Anyway, what he ordered, he ordered a Monster Burger, which is like two patties.
01:35:56.540 I know this.
01:35:59.500 I'll never forget this.
01:36:01.480 The server that served him, which is a very nice girl.
01:36:04.080 Her name was Elaine.
01:36:04.660 She was very excited.
01:36:05.460 The whole restaurant was buzzing.
01:36:06.580 Shaq is here.
01:36:07.160 Oh, my gosh.
01:36:07.700 This is like 1999, probably.
01:36:09.640 Maybe the year 2000.
01:36:11.220 Shaq is here.
01:36:11.860 Oh, my gosh.
01:36:12.480 This is crazy.
01:36:14.100 So I'll never forget.
01:36:15.300 And this is before Bidenflation and everything.
01:36:18.160 He had a 12-year-old kid, a woman, and Shaq eat.
01:36:21.880 You know what the bill was?
01:36:23.620 39 bucks.
01:36:26.260 Good luck trying to get three people to go eat in a restaurant today for 39 bucks.
01:36:33.020 So 39 bucks.
01:36:37.580 We all asked Elaine, how much tip did he leave?
01:36:39.400 How much tip?
01:36:39.800 Because we're all just wondering, right?
01:36:41.760 And good on Shaq.
01:36:42.760 I'll never forget it.
01:36:43.640 He left 150 bucks.
01:36:47.260 So she served one table and walked off with $111.
01:36:51.740 That's how it's supposed to work.
01:36:56.860 By the way, it was pretty funny.
01:36:59.000 I want to get a glimpse of him.
01:37:00.620 So it was Monday night.
01:37:01.860 Monday night football is going on.
01:37:02.860 Somebody at the bar ordered nachos.
01:37:04.880 Thinking to myself, I'll go to get the nachos.
01:37:06.160 Bring them back.
01:37:06.600 I'm going to walk by Shaq's table.
01:37:08.980 As I walk by, he's just huge.
01:37:11.080 He has a pint glasses.
01:37:12.420 You fill the soda, the bottomless soda.
01:37:14.780 And his hand makes the pint glass look like me holding a shot glass.
01:37:18.980 And he just sucks the thing down.
01:37:22.720 So I'm walking by and I'm like, all right, now's my chance to talk to him.
01:37:25.780 Say, hey, you need a refill?
01:37:27.160 He looks at me.
01:37:27.900 Yeah, I'm thirstier than a mother bleeper, bro.
01:37:30.460 All right, you got it, man.
01:37:32.880 He was very cool.
01:37:33.900 Took pictures with everybody.
01:37:35.060 I wish I still had that picture.
01:37:36.400 He was just the largest man.
01:37:37.700 Just the biggest human being I've ever seen in my life.
01:37:42.000 But this is how it's supposed to work.
01:37:44.120 It's supposed to work this way, where you earn it.
01:37:47.300 I can't believe you work in restaurants now and you get 15 or 20 bucks an hour.
01:37:51.600 This is insane to me.
01:37:54.140 Insane.
01:37:54.600 You know, now they even tip the cooks.
01:37:58.360 Why do you tip cooks?
01:37:59.400 They get paid.
01:38:03.100 They get paid.
01:38:03.820 I was actually in Colorado Springs and there was a, for my son's hockey tournament,
01:38:08.800 there was a fee on the bill, a tax, that I saw.
01:38:14.220 I go, what is this tax?
01:38:15.980 What am I paying here?
01:38:17.860 I'll tell you about that coming up.
01:38:19.400 Garrett Lewis in for Glenn Beck on the Glenn Beck program.
01:38:23.980 With New Year's resolutions, many of us will vow to eat healthier, and that's a good thing.
01:38:28.900 But what about your beloved pets and their nutrition?
01:38:31.640 Where's their RFK?
01:38:33.120 Am I right?
01:38:34.700 Well, naturopathic Dr. Dennis Black is actually their RFK.
01:38:38.540 He's on a mission to provide better nutrition for cats and dogs because, truthfully,
01:38:42.860 it's what we're feeding our pets, most of it, is not good.
01:38:45.840 And we're not feeding them what they need, which is why he created Rough Greens and Meow Greens.
01:38:50.980 Bring your pet's dead food back to life with live vitamins, minerals, probiotics, enzymes,
01:38:56.960 omega oils, antioxidants, and so much more.
01:38:59.480 It's tasty to the dogs and the cats.
01:39:01.480 So improve your pet's coat, digestion, energy, have less vet bills in 2025, bring a new year
01:39:07.980 and a new pet.

01:39:23.080 Promo code GLEN.
01:39:33.480 Garen Lewis with you.
01:39:35.480 It is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:39:37.760 Thank you so much for hanging out with me.
01:39:39.940 Now, just getting back to the story about the tipping, and again, all of a sudden, liberals,
01:39:45.660 they want to get people to make more and more money until they can't afford to go do the
01:39:48.980 stuff anymore.
01:39:49.720 And all of a sudden, they don't want to be the ones that tip.
01:39:52.220 They don't want to do that at all.
01:39:53.620 No, no, no.
01:39:54.560 So, and by the way, there was a story in the Washingtonian a couple of weeks ago about
01:39:58.040 how servers and bartenders and restaurants were upset that Trump's getting in there and
01:40:03.880 the Trump regime's going to be in there.
01:40:06.080 And there's going to be Trump officials, but then they admitted that Republicans are
01:40:09.540 much better tippers than Democrats.
01:40:11.000 So, there you have it right there.
01:40:13.600 So, I was in Colorado Springs, which is a lib town, a whole lib state, but I see this.
01:40:22.780 We go to a restaurant in between my, or after one of my kids' hockey games at a hockey tournament,
01:40:27.280 and I get the check, and I notice there was like some kind of, it was like an ELA tax or
01:40:30.860 something like that.
01:40:31.640 I'm like, what is this?
01:40:32.500 Ask the server.
01:40:33.760 Oh, oh, oh, okay.
01:40:35.420 She said, that's actually a tax that we pay to try to get our cooks to show up to work
01:40:40.740 at night.
01:40:42.640 And I said, what?
01:40:45.280 Yeah, so it's much busier at night for dinner than it is in the day for lunch.
01:40:50.100 So, the cooks really like working at lunch because they don't have to work as hard.
01:40:53.740 Trying to get them to show up at night is hard.
01:40:55.560 So, there's a tax, and it pools together, and we pay them that extra money to show up
01:41:02.440 to work at night.
01:41:03.060 And I'm like, where am I?
01:41:05.160 What is going on?
01:41:07.020 And that was last year when I was in Colorado Springs.
01:41:09.520 So, I don't understand the whole thing about tipping cooks.
01:41:11.880 Like, you choose to be a cook if you want to get paid more money, because generally, cooks
01:41:15.480 get paid more per hour.
01:41:16.860 They're supposed to.
01:41:17.480 That's why servers get paid less.
01:41:18.640 Like, this is how it's supposed to work.
01:41:21.420 It's so frustrating.
01:41:25.380 It is beyond frustrating that something like this, this goes on.
01:41:29.500 But, I mean, that's why I would never want to, and I love restaurants, man, but I would
01:41:33.320 never want to own a restaurant because of this.
01:41:37.440 It's just not worth it anymore.
01:41:40.240 Just not worth it anymore.
01:41:43.560 I have some other stuff.
01:41:44.660 So, I talked a lot about woke stuff in the first hour, but I didn't get a chance to do
01:41:48.760 all my woke because we're talking about insane things right now with these crazy rules to
01:41:53.520 the wages and everything.
01:41:54.420 So, there's just some more when it comes to woke stuff, and talked about how Costco wants
01:42:01.900 to continue to go woke.
01:42:03.140 They want to keep their DEI program.
01:42:05.880 Good luck, Costco.
01:42:07.040 We'll see what happens, what Americans say about that.
01:42:10.760 Now, apparently, and this is not something that I played because I've said before, I played
01:42:16.480 sports and I like chicks.
01:42:19.120 Dungeons and Dragons is now woke.
01:42:21.480 I didn't think Dungeons and Dragons could get more dorky, but now it's gone woke, and
01:42:26.920 if you played Dungeons and Dragons, that's on you.
01:42:29.460 That's on you.
01:42:30.620 Okay?
01:42:31.540 Apparently, Dungeons and Dragons, they have now issued new rules.
01:42:36.880 New rules for Dungeons and Dragons.
01:42:39.400 You can't make this stuff up.
01:42:41.460 I guess there was something called species in the game.
01:42:43.620 They've now changed, or it was races.
01:42:45.460 It's now species.
01:42:46.280 It can't be races.
01:42:46.860 Some character traits are now, no longer have a biological identity.
01:42:55.100 Yep.
01:42:56.420 You can't do that.
01:42:58.140 You can't do that.
01:42:58.980 And they are now telling the players what they can do to make sure they feel safe when
01:43:02.960 they're playing Dungeons and Dragons.
01:43:04.620 Dungeons and Dragons.
01:43:07.900 Are you serious right now?
01:43:09.940 How to be safe and be in a safe place when you're playing Dungeons and Dragons?
01:43:15.020 Generally, people play Dungeons and Dragons because they want to be in a safe place instead
01:43:18.060 of a football field or an ice hockey rink.
01:43:21.500 Wait till you hear this.
01:43:24.440 This is incredible.
01:43:26.800 Got to get rid of the wokeness as we head to 2025.
01:43:30.160 Dungeons and Dragons.
01:43:31.100 I pour you coming up.
01:43:31.780 Garrett Lewis in for Glenn Beck on the Glenn Beck Program.
01:43:35.060 Glenn Beck.
01:43:38.220 The new year is a time of reflection on the past year and hope for the year to come.
01:43:43.120 Last year was a turbulent time for Israel and the Jewish people.
01:43:46.760 The devastating and ongoing multi-front war, an unprecedented rise in global anti-Semitism,
01:43:51.780 and the loss of many Jewish lives.
01:43:53.700 But there has also been an uprising of love and support from you, the listeners, and by
01:43:58.340 the organization, the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
01:44:02.040 Your support of IFCJ has saved lives and answered prayers.
01:44:06.020 Thanks to the generosity of people in the United States, bomb shelters have been built
01:44:10.040 and placed.
01:44:10.900 Life-saving food and emergency supplies have been provided to evacuees and those in critical
01:44:15.420 need.
01:44:16.080 And protective gear and medical equipment has been distributed to first responders on the
01:44:20.140 front lines.
01:44:20.780 There is still more work to do.
01:44:23.040 Join the movement of those who have raised their voices to support Israel and the Jewish
01:44:27.560 people.
01:44:28.320 We ask you to continue your prayers and ongoing support today by visiting supportifcj.org.
01:44:34.580 That's one word.
01:44:36.700 Supportifcj.org.
01:44:38.440 Glenn Beck.
01:44:40.240 Missed the show?
01:44:41.320 Listen anytime, anywhere podcasts are found.
01:44:44.600 Stick around.
01:44:45.200 More after the break.
01:44:46.440 Stand up!
01:45:05.320 Gary Lewis, with you here.
01:45:10.620 I can't speak over Glenn's daughter.
01:45:11.980 Oh, but I thought I'd ask you just the same.
01:45:18.420 What are you doing New Year's?
01:45:23.900 New Year's Eve?
01:45:29.280 That's a great question.
01:45:30.380 That is Glenn Beck's daughter, by the way, Cheyenne Grace.
01:45:32.980 Gary Lewis in for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program.
01:45:35.040 You can buy her Home for Christmas.
01:45:37.760 This song's on it.
01:45:38.660 You can buy that.
01:45:39.680 It is at glennbeckchristmas.com.
01:45:44.540 What are you going to do for New Year's Eve?
01:45:47.000 I will not be tipping people that don't deserve it.
01:45:49.160 I'll tell you.
01:45:49.840 I will be doing.
01:45:51.120 I will be doing.
01:45:52.240 I'll be tipping people that do deserve it and not the ones that don't.
01:45:56.000 And I over-tip like crazy being in the restaurant business.
01:45:58.240 How about that?
01:45:59.220 I won't be woke.
01:46:00.740 Be honest with you.
01:46:01.780 I will be, on New Year's Eve, I will be dragged around.
01:46:05.640 It's very exciting when you have a 12-year-old and a 7-year-old because what you do on New
01:46:10.960 Year's Eve is whatever makes them not go crazy.
01:46:15.120 That's what I'll be doing on New Year's Eve.
01:46:16.760 I hope you have a great New Year's Eve.
01:46:19.280 I think it's always amateur hour out there, amateur nights.
01:46:22.100 So I try to stay away from the crowds and the roads and everything like that just to be
01:46:25.700 safe because I've seen and you've seen what can happen.
01:46:30.100 So enjoy New Year's Eve.
01:46:33.960 I'm hoping 2025 is going to be huge without an H, huge without an H.
01:46:37.560 Let me get back really quick to Dungeons & Dragons.
01:46:41.140 I will not be playing Dungeons & Dragons on New Year's Eve.
01:46:44.620 I've never played Dungeons & Dragons.
01:46:47.020 It's not my thing, but apparently it's gone woke.
01:46:48.680 Can we get rid of the woke stuff as we get into 2025?
01:46:50.480 2025, what are they thinking?
01:46:53.800 Just like Costco, what exactly are you thinking?
01:46:58.240 Hasbro is doing this.
01:47:03.200 There was a report in the New York Times,
01:47:04.840 Wizards of the Coast, the Dungeons & Dragons publisher owned by Hasbro,
01:47:08.420 endorsed a trend throughout role-playing games in which players are empowered to halt the proceedings
01:47:13.240 if they ever feel uncomfortable.
01:47:17.240 What?
01:47:17.680 Now again, I've never played it, but isn't it just a card game?
01:47:25.000 I mean, I'll just say it.
01:47:26.000 If you're sitting Indian style for too long, do you, do you, whoa, whoa, not comfortable.
01:47:30.840 How is it?
01:47:31.560 How do you feel uncomfortable playing Dungeons & Dragons?
01:47:33.800 So Hasbro, which owns Wizards of the Coast, which publishes Dungeons & Dragons,
01:47:45.180 can't make this up.
01:47:50.760 They suggest that extended Dungeons & Dragons campaigns begin with sessions allowing players
01:47:55.760 to lay out their expectations and which topics they wish to avoid,
01:48:00.320 which could include sexual assault or drug use.
01:48:06.240 Are people being sexually assaulted playing Dungeons & Dragons?
01:48:09.620 Like, I would think you are going to be the safest, because it's generally people that...
01:48:17.680 I picture like Big Bang Theory.
01:48:20.580 The characters from that playing Dungeons & Dragons.
01:48:24.940 What is making you do this?
01:48:26.560 Yeah.
01:48:30.640 There's a guy named Ryan Lessard.
01:48:34.200 According to the New York Times, they call him a Dungeons & Dragons master.
01:48:38.800 He's a dungeon master.
01:48:40.840 Parents are so proud.
01:48:43.760 He's a dungeon master.
01:48:44.920 He's quoted as saying,
01:48:45.660 What they're trying to do here is put up a signal flare
01:48:47.560 to not only current players, but potential future players
01:48:50.820 that this game is a safe, inclusive, thoughtful, and sensitive approach
01:48:54.840 to fantasy storytelling.
01:48:59.160 What?
01:49:02.900 They don't want to use the word race.
01:49:06.020 Races of people.
01:49:07.000 They're now species.
01:49:09.200 You're kidding me.
01:49:11.260 Elon Musk weighed in.
01:49:13.660 He wrote on X,
01:49:16.000 What the F is wrong with Hasbro?
01:49:18.760 May they burn in hell.
01:49:20.340 That's what he wrote.
01:49:21.020 I'm not kidding you.
01:49:21.640 He's very angry.
01:49:23.020 Very angry.
01:49:24.540 On top of that,
01:49:26.140 there was a tweet by an editor of the Babylon Bee.
01:49:29.020 This is real.
01:49:29.780 Even though it works like Babylon Bee,
01:49:31.020 his name is Kyle Mann.
01:49:33.160 He took a screenshot
01:49:34.500 of the latest woke rules.
01:49:39.880 Because in the latest woke rules,
01:49:41.680 it says here,
01:49:44.440 The Dungeons & Dragons Dungeon Master's Guide
01:49:46.780 encourages players to raise their arms in an X
01:49:49.540 if they are triggered by any in-game content.
01:49:53.900 You get triggered
01:49:55.080 playing Dungeons & Dragons?
01:49:57.160 I would think the only way a person
01:50:02.020 that plays Dungeons & Dragons
01:50:03.720 gets triggered
01:50:05.020 is if they see a hot girl.
01:50:07.480 That would be...
01:50:08.200 Whoa!
01:50:12.120 Like, again,
01:50:12.820 I'm thinking guys that play it,
01:50:14.360 I'm totally stereotyping right now
01:50:15.840 and I totally can.
01:50:17.500 The guys from the movie
01:50:19.080 Can't Buy Me Love
01:50:19.920 with Patrick Dempsey.
01:50:21.160 His buddies.
01:50:21.640 Yes.
01:50:26.600 A consultant agency,
01:50:28.120 Sweet Baby Inc.,
01:50:29.080 described
01:50:29.780 where the game industry,
01:50:35.520 the video game industry,
01:50:36.720 and entertainment at large
01:50:37.720 is going.
01:50:39.740 Do they not know
01:50:40.460 who won the election?
01:50:41.700 They say it's going to
01:50:42.720 an inclusion-focused narrative
01:50:44.180 and consultation company.
01:50:45.660 They're working toward diversifying
01:50:46.740 and enriching the video games industry.
01:50:49.300 Oh my gosh.
01:50:50.620 So there you go.
01:50:51.140 Can't they just leave things alone?
01:50:52.700 They ruin everything.
01:50:53.920 You know,
01:50:54.300 they're ruining this.
01:50:55.240 I told you,
01:50:55.580 Cornell dopey students
01:50:57.020 ruining pole dancing
01:50:58.440 by having trans,
01:50:59.760 which is guys,
01:51:00.680 and fat women
01:51:01.360 do the pole dancing.
01:51:02.300 We don't need this.
01:51:03.380 Certain things,
01:51:04.000 they need to be left
01:51:04.660 the way they are.
01:51:06.180 It's totally fine.
01:51:07.540 Totally fine.
01:51:11.100 By the way,
01:51:11.920 it was announced this morning
01:51:13.460 that Joe Biden
01:51:16.720 will be delivering
01:51:19.080 a eulogy for Jimmy Carter.
01:51:22.320 Anything Joe Biden does now,
01:51:23.960 I mean,
01:51:24.140 I just can't stand the guy.
01:51:25.320 He's pure evil.
01:51:26.640 But just hearing him talk
01:51:27.660 is just excellent.
01:51:28.540 But just in case
01:51:29.120 you don't believe me,
01:51:29.660 I'm not making this up.
01:51:30.740 MSNBC here.
01:51:31.560 lie in repose
01:51:32.320 here at the Carter
01:51:33.000 Presidential Center
01:51:33.920 for more than two days
01:51:36.260 before traveling
01:51:37.080 to Washington, D.C.
01:51:38.500 Once in Washington,
01:51:39.880 he will make a stop
01:51:41.020 at the U.S. Navy Memorial
01:51:42.620 that is, of course,
01:51:43.740 a tribute to his service
01:51:44.920 in the U.S. Navy
01:51:45.840 before continuing
01:51:47.060 on to the U.S. Capitol
01:51:48.460 where he will lie
01:51:49.520 in state
01:51:50.160 after a ceremony
01:51:51.040 with members of Congress.
01:51:52.660 After that,
01:51:53.100 there will be
01:51:53.480 the National Funeral Service.
01:51:54.940 That is where we expect
01:51:55.780 that President Biden
01:51:57.160 will eulogize
01:51:58.380 his predecessor,
01:51:59.160 for someone he has known
01:52:00.260 for decades.
01:52:01.720 There you go.
01:52:02.440 So I'm not making that up.
01:52:05.120 I'm not making that up.
01:52:06.660 So Joe Biden
01:52:07.380 is going to eulogize
01:52:09.000 Jimmy Carter.
01:52:12.520 I mean,
01:52:12.920 they better hit him up
01:52:13.940 with some of Hunter's
01:52:14.760 magic candy
01:52:16.000 to make sure
01:52:16.500 he's going to be awake
01:52:17.280 and alert
01:52:17.640 and things like that
01:52:18.880 because you never know
01:52:20.700 what's going to happen.
01:52:21.360 But I do have,
01:52:22.840 I believe,
01:52:23.760 a preview
01:52:24.300 of what it's going to sound like
01:52:25.580 when Joe Biden
01:52:26.320 does eulogize
01:52:27.640 Jimmy Carter.
01:52:29.160 America is a nation
01:52:30.280 that can be defined
01:52:31.380 in a single word.
01:52:33.680 I was going to put him
01:52:34.340 in a foot.
01:52:35.720 There you go.
01:52:36.540 That's what it's going to be.
01:52:37.600 We should all tune in.
01:52:41.020 Now,
01:52:41.640 I mean,
01:52:41.900 part of me
01:52:42.400 is going to,
01:52:44.560 as a talk show host,
01:52:46.240 right,
01:52:46.520 as a talk show host,
01:52:47.140 I'm going to miss
01:52:48.200 Joe Biden's
01:52:49.720 epic disasters.
01:52:50.640 But even though
01:52:51.860 I'm being greedy
01:52:52.540 and selfish
01:52:53.040 as a talk show host,
01:52:53.860 I know for the greater good
01:52:54.720 of us,
01:52:55.520 the country,
01:52:56.040 what needs to happen
01:52:56.800 is never hear
01:52:58.100 this crap
01:52:58.880 ever again
01:52:59.720 because he has just
01:53:00.980 done his best
01:53:01.740 to utterly destroy
01:53:03.080 our country.
01:53:05.220 I mean,
01:53:05.500 just looking back
01:53:06.460 and as we usher out
01:53:07.660 2024
01:53:08.240 and we only have
01:53:09.560 20 more days
01:53:10.320 of this nut job
01:53:11.100 Joe Biden
01:53:11.600 who's already
01:53:11.960 trying to continue
01:53:13.220 to damage us,
01:53:14.380 giving $4 billion
01:53:15.400 over the last week
01:53:16.700 to Ukraine.
01:53:17.580 Are you kidding me
01:53:18.560 right now?
01:53:19.240 People still in North Carolina
01:53:20.580 are living in tents.
01:53:22.100 this is what
01:53:24.760 it's been like
01:53:25.480 and the media
01:53:27.460 is just,
01:53:27.960 remember,
01:53:28.220 they are just realizing
01:53:29.480 that Joe Biden
01:53:30.440 is not all there
01:53:32.320 upstairs.
01:53:33.280 He is,
01:53:34.140 we should have
01:53:35.000 asked harder questions.
01:53:36.160 They couldn't figure it out.
01:53:37.600 Of course,
01:53:37.900 they could figure it out.
01:53:38.600 They just ignored it.
01:53:39.480 I,
01:53:40.040 um,
01:53:41.500 yeah,
01:53:44.780 there you go.
01:53:45.940 Anyway,
01:53:46.440 I don't want to,
01:53:47.120 I don't want to.
01:53:49.700 I'm making
01:53:50.440 throw me words.
01:53:52.100 The best way
01:53:52.680 to get something done
01:53:53.780 if you,
01:53:54.640 if it holds
01:53:55.500 near and dear
01:53:56.320 to you
01:53:56.720 that you,
01:53:57.300 uh,
01:53:57.720 What?
01:53:58.120 I'm,
01:53:58.680 like to be able to,
01:54:00.720 anyway.
01:54:01.580 Anyway.
01:54:02.080 Putin's
01:54:02.680 kleptocracy.
01:54:03.780 What?
01:54:05.160 Yeah.
01:54:07.200 $159,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 let.
01:54:11.820 Oh,
01:54:12.200 and then my favorite.
01:54:13.100 America is a nation
01:54:14.020 that can be defined
01:54:15.140 in a single word.
01:54:17.540 How's the foot him?
01:54:18.300 Uh,
01:54:18.540 foot,
01:54:18.860 foot.
01:54:19.600 There you go.
01:54:20.700 Start your tape right now
01:54:25.720 Because I'm about to tell you the truth
01:54:27.440 Do it Joe
01:54:28.060 And F you if you can't handle the truth
01:54:30.420 Can't handle it
01:54:31.180 This version of Biden
01:54:34.760 Intellectually
01:54:36.840 Analytically
01:54:37.860 Is the best Biden ever
01:54:40.320 Not a close second
01:54:41.960 And I've known him for years
01:54:43.340 The Brzezinski's have known him for 50 years
01:54:45.760 If it weren't the truth
01:54:47.400 I wouldn't say it
01:54:48.760 There you go
01:54:49.620 Get ready to usher out all this stuff
01:54:54.000 All this stuff
01:54:55.680 And maybe we'll see some major differences
01:54:57.440 Because people are getting their information differently
01:55:00.460 And it's not because one thing is old
01:55:03.400 Let's just get that out of the way
01:55:04.740 It's because things are terrible
01:55:07.720 Some things just stink
01:55:09.100 They're just not good
01:55:10.140 Which is why they don't watch cable news
01:55:12.500 They don't watch MSNBC or CNN
01:55:14.640 They don't watch network news
01:55:16.180 Talk radio
01:55:18.720 Listen again
01:55:19.500 This is AM
01:55:20.620 A lot of stations
01:55:22.060 That I'm on right now
01:55:23.000 Are on AM
01:55:23.620 And yet people flock to it
01:55:26.800 By the millions and millions
01:55:27.840 And tens of millions
01:55:28.720 Because it's the content
01:55:31.420 They can't get it anywhere else
01:55:33.880 Versus what you just heard
01:55:38.920 From Joe Scarborough
01:55:41.680 Incredible stuff

01:56:08.040 The older I get
01:56:21.060 The more I think about trust
01:56:22.520 I think about the people in my life
01:56:24.340 Who have my trust
01:56:25.440 And earned my trust
01:56:26.800 And the trust that I have placed
01:56:28.720 In some people
01:56:29.320 Who I later learned
01:56:30.460 Abused that trust
01:56:31.580 I know we're alike in that way
01:56:33.180 We don't trust a lot of people anymore
01:56:34.920 It's like we're all
01:56:36.060 Ronald Reagan
01:56:36.600 Trust but always verify
01:56:38.100 To make sure
01:56:38.820 We're not making a mistake
01:56:40.020 I find it a little exhausting
01:56:41.680 Quite honestly
01:56:42.480 And that's why I started
01:56:43.280 Realestateagentsitrust.com
01:56:45.480 I didn't have good experiences
01:56:47.020 With buying and selling my homes

01:57:30.300 In for Glenn Beck
01:57:31.240 The final segment of 2024
01:57:33.820 And I am really hoping
01:57:38.680 We can get back to
01:57:39.920 Just fun and normalcy
01:57:43.400 And sanity in the world
01:57:45.180 Do you remember
01:57:46.400 Before the China virus
01:57:47.540 Do you remember
01:57:48.020 What the big stories were
01:57:49.820 That people were talking about
01:57:51.080 Do you remember this stuff?
01:57:53.440 People were arguing
01:57:54.420 About paper straws
01:57:57.140 And plastic straws
01:57:58.680 Do you remember that?
01:58:00.660 People were literally arguing
01:58:02.100 About paper straws
01:58:04.620 And plastic straws
01:58:05.340 Things were so good
01:58:06.400 The border was secure
01:58:07.500 Gas was cheap
01:58:08.680 Inflation was low
01:58:09.960 The economy was booming
01:58:12.480 The market was great
01:58:13.840 Employment was up for everyone
01:58:16.780 That we had nothing else
01:58:18.480 To complain about
01:58:19.320 Except paper straws
01:58:21.680 Which are trash
01:58:23.280 Which recently
01:58:25.380 By the way
01:58:25.820 I saw the best thing
01:58:26.660 I recently saw
01:58:27.320 A paper straw
01:58:28.300 And it was in a plastic wrapper
01:58:30.220 To make sure it's sanitary
01:58:31.260 I'm like
01:58:31.620 What are you doing?
01:58:32.740 What is that?
01:58:34.160 What is that?
01:58:35.200 And I remember
01:58:35.560 One time by the way
01:58:36.380 I was at a restaurant
01:58:37.320 In Arizona
01:58:37.960 Where they brought over
01:58:40.680 The server brought over
01:58:41.700 And I'm a nice guy
01:58:43.820 But sometimes
01:58:44.300 I just want to make people think
01:58:45.440 Imagine that with this job
01:58:46.480 Right?
01:58:46.900 I'm a nice guy
01:58:47.220 So server brings over
01:58:48.320 A drink
01:58:48.740 And it's got a stupid
01:58:49.360 Paper straw in this
01:58:50.260 I'm like
01:58:50.560 I'm so sick of these
01:58:51.400 Paper straws
01:58:52.340 And the server
01:58:53.360 Made the fatal mistake
01:58:54.220 Of going
01:58:54.540 Well we're just trying
01:58:55.500 To make sure
01:58:56.140 That
01:58:57.740 The plastic
01:58:59.200 Doesn't end up
01:58:59.940 In the ocean
01:59:00.560 We want to protect
01:59:01.600 Everything
01:59:02.600 And the environment
01:59:03.520 And I looked at the server
01:59:04.920 And I said
01:59:05.340 We're in the middle
01:59:07.000 Of the desert
01:59:07.720 Tell me what trash
01:59:09.360 From the desert
01:59:10.780 Where we are right now
01:59:11.900 Tell me what trash
01:59:12.840 Ends up anywhere
01:59:13.760 Near the ocean
01:59:14.500 And the server
01:59:17.180 Just looked at me
01:59:17.780 And the wheels
01:59:19.020 Started spinning
01:59:19.720 So I think it
01:59:21.880 I think it worked out
01:59:22.880 Really really well
01:59:24.400 That way
01:59:24.820 That was the big
01:59:26.420 That was the big thing
01:59:27.300 I hope we can get back
01:59:28.320 And the other big story
01:59:29.520 That was going on
01:59:30.160 In the world
01:59:30.440 At the time
01:59:30.720 Before the China virus scam
01:59:31.940 People fighting
01:59:34.260 At Popeye's chicken
01:59:35.280 Remember that
01:59:36.900 People were fighting
01:59:37.580 Over the spicy
01:59:38.420 Chicken sandwiches
01:59:39.140 I
01:59:40.180 Look
01:59:40.500 We should never have
01:59:41.260 This for society
01:59:42.040 But just for an
01:59:43.320 Entertainment aspect
01:59:44.100 Of things
01:59:44.620 I enjoyed every second
01:59:46.200 Of this stuff
01:59:46.620 Because people went
01:59:47.240 They went nuts
01:59:48.280 They went crazy
01:59:49.120 And I was loving it
01:59:50.200 I'm loving
01:59:50.620 I just
01:59:50.940 If that's the
01:59:52.000 The biggest problem
01:59:53.160 That we have
01:59:53.960 We are in a
01:59:54.740 Great great great place
01:59:55.820 We have work to do
01:59:56.740 But I think we can get there
01:59:58.300 I think we can get there
01:59:59.400 And I always wanted to know
02:00:00.040 What was in those
02:00:00.980 Spicy chicken sandwiches
02:00:02.000 That made people go insane
02:00:03.260 Make a movie about that
02:00:04.720 One thing that I've also learned
02:00:06.820 Is that
02:00:08.280 You know
02:00:09.280 Champion
02:00:09.720 The champion politicians
02:00:10.820 There aren't that many of them
02:00:11.880 If one
02:00:13.120 Is near you
02:00:15.060 That you don't like
02:00:15.640 Don't ever be afraid
02:00:16.680 To tell them exactly
02:00:17.460 What you think
02:00:18.200 They will try to BS you
02:00:20.360 And lie to you
02:00:21.060 And tell you
02:00:21.520 You don't understand
02:00:22.140 Let me explain how things go
02:00:23.240 Whenever they do that
02:00:23.840 They're lying
02:00:24.320 Justin Trudeau
02:00:25.840 The male feminist
02:00:27.200 He calls himself
02:00:28.400 A feminist all the time
02:00:29.480 Loser right
02:00:31.020 Apparently he was on
02:00:33.060 The
02:00:33.520 The ski trails
02:00:36.100 In British Columbia
02:00:37.540 This is how
02:00:38.900 You're supposed to treat
02:00:40.080 A trash politician
02:00:41.180 Listen
02:00:41.620 To this
02:00:42.660 Mr. Prime Minister
02:00:45.800 Yeah
02:00:46.540 Please get the
02:00:49.920 F*** out of BC
02:00:50.620 Have a wonderful day now
02:00:52.480 Yeah
02:00:52.780 You suck
02:00:53.600 That's
02:00:54.840 That's how it's done
02:00:56.220 That's how it's done
02:00:58.820 Garrett
02:01:02.320 Are you telling me
02:01:02.820 Yeah
02:01:03.240 To certain politicians
02:01:04.100 He is horrible
02:01:04.940 He is horrible
02:01:06.400 When they were horrible
02:01:07.160 Do you remember what he did
02:01:08.320 He actually threatened
02:01:09.600 To confiscate
02:01:10.440 He did
02:01:10.720 He confiscated
02:01:11.300 The bank accounts
02:01:12.160 Of truckers
02:01:12.980 That didn't want to get
02:01:14.060 A COVID shot
02:01:15.020 And that's just
02:01:17.620 The start of it
02:01:18.560 With this tyrant
02:01:19.580 So yes
02:01:20.980 Doesn't have to be
02:01:22.580 A Canadian politician
02:01:23.520 It could be
02:01:25.140 An American politician
02:01:26.200 And just take it
02:01:27.600 From me
02:01:28.320 Especially since
02:01:29.360 The China virus scam
02:01:30.600 I know we've just met
02:01:31.840 But just take it from me
02:01:32.900 We've
02:01:33.860 We've done a lot of
02:01:35.300 A lot of good things
02:01:36.280 In the state of Arizona
02:01:37.520 Because you call
02:01:39.120 These politicians out
02:01:40.020 That you're just
02:01:40.660 Not
02:01:41.340 Used to it
02:01:42.460 At
02:01:43.100 All
02:01:43.780 Even if it's one
02:01:46.120 That you like
02:01:46.580 They do something bad
02:01:47.420 Call them out
02:01:48.300 This is how it works
02:01:49.200 In real life
02:01:49.660 You get called out
02:01:50.260 In your job
02:01:50.740 Don't you

02:01:52.980 Happy New Year
