00:00:37.860 start bulking. So I thought to bestow some bulking wisdom upon you all. Now first and foremost,
00:00:45.720 should you do intermittent fasting when you are bulking? If you are a bit skinnier, if you're a
00:00:51.240 bit younger, you want to bulk up, put on some size, then no, I would not recommend doing intermittent
00:00:57.200 fasting. Because you want to space out your meals so that you can eat more. The traditional
00:01:03.220 bodybuilding style of eating, like six meals a day or so, it's a bit unnecessary in my view. And also
00:01:09.700 some wisdom when it comes to listening to pro bodybuilders. They are taking vast amounts of
00:01:15.440 steroids. So if you listen to their advice and do like they do, sure you can do it if you take the
00:01:21.780 same sort of dark side supplements, so to speak. But I recommend that you do not. But anyway, that
00:01:30.040 being said, I do recommend that you eat breakfast if you are a so-called hard gainer or if you're
00:01:36.380 bulking, etc. Because you do, at the end of the day, want to hit a certain amount of calories. For
00:01:42.920 certain guys, it is hard to get to that level. So you're not doing yourself any favors by eating
00:01:48.620 less, simply put. And of course, in the reversal, if you're trying to lose weight, it's absolutely
00:01:56.080 unnecessary to eat breakfast in my view, because most people aren't hungry in the morning anyway.
00:02:02.120 So yeah, intermittent fasting, it's not something I would recommend if you are training to get more
00:02:10.440 massive. Or if you are at perhaps an elite level and you train several times a day, and if you train in
00:02:16.780 the morning, it might be good to load up with some extra carbohydrates. And again, as I've said

00:02:53.200 it can be good for you to get your appetite up again. Because if you have been bulking for half a year,
00:02:59.080 chances are quite high that you don't really want to eat so much. So it can be a good idea.
