In the final episode of our glorious campaign, we take on the Kingdom of Asturias and their mighty army. We have all of Spain, except for Girona, and it looks like we have a chance to regain control of Iberia. Will we be able to do so?

00:00:00.000 Greetings, Warriors of Christ, and welcome back to the last episode of our glorious Reconquista.
00:00:09.940 Now, I took a good few turns since the last episode.
00:00:16.740 Not a good few turns, because nothing really much happened, but I just conciliated my power,
00:00:22.300 saved up some shekels right there, and had a few mores here to deal with. 0.69
00:00:28.320 But there was no epic battles that you missed, actually.
00:00:33.140 So I just thought to not film that, so we can have this last episode to reflect upon things.
00:00:41.260 So what I'm gonna do, first and foremost, as someone commented in the last episode,
00:00:49.780 quite right in that this area stood out as a sore spot.
00:00:55.360 So we're gonna do it like this now.
00:00:58.320 And it actually has costed us 2,000 shekels right there to colonize. 0.76
00:01:05.680 I didn't realize that. I thought it would be much more expensive.
00:01:11.120 Oh well, we can build fun stuff with it.
00:01:14.160 Now, we have all of Spain, except for this little Girona.
00:01:18.600 So I'm just gonna roll up there and do that right now.
00:01:20.860 Boom, boom, boom, and boom.
00:01:28.680 And there we are.
00:01:30.520 The Reconquista is complete.
00:01:34.200 Maybe a bit of an anti-climax there, but it is what it is.
00:01:40.220 It is what it is.
00:01:41.600 So I could probably go up here and take Uggrel.
00:01:44.520 Now, you see here, seven turns left.
00:01:46.740 And that is seven turns until I get...
00:01:50.220 This at 35 plus Imperium Points.
00:01:57.340 Which will then ensure our victory, basically.
00:02:10.800 So that is what's up in all actuality.
00:02:19.460 Now we can obviously convert a few things here.
00:02:23.680 I'm gonna take the turn there and just talk and reflect upon things.
00:02:35.100 Really nice campaign this has been, actually.
00:02:41.640 Obviously very much in line with current happenings in modern Europa.
00:02:49.020 With, you know, a rapid demographic transformation of Europe.
00:02:56.940 Which is very disturbing because failed economic policies, etc.
00:03:03.520 You can revert within a generation.
00:03:09.860 But when we're talking about demographic issues...
00:03:19.020 It's not that easy to reverse.
00:03:25.600 So that's obviously highly blasphemous.
00:03:32.320 And thus it was a righteous thing to commence this epic campaign.
00:03:39.980 And, you know, as an historic game...
00:03:46.560 I think it's important to learn about these epic battles.
00:03:52.560 Oh, look at that.
00:03:56.480 They have a good few arms there.
00:03:59.300 Maybe they can actually fight with us there.
00:04:01.860 I don't know.
00:04:04.980 We're gonna take the turn...
00:04:08.560 Again here, so we actually get to the end there.
00:04:19.140 So we get the victory.
00:04:21.060 I suppose we do at least.
00:04:22.520 I think that is enough for the Kingdom of Asturias to just take...
00:04:26.140 To retake Iberia.
00:04:28.280 But yeah, as I was gonna say...
00:04:30.860 Having these historical games...
00:04:34.860 Very important to...
00:04:37.860 Teach out history, I suppose.
00:04:41.700 In a fun way.
00:04:42.540 I know some traditionalist-minded guys...
00:04:49.120 Especially older guys...
00:04:50.380 Have a bit of an aversion towards gaming.
00:04:58.120 And yes, some parts of gaming obviously can be quite bad.
00:05:05.580 Especially kind of grinding games without much of our history behind them.
00:05:12.920 And obviously gaming can be too much.
00:05:14.540 But gaming can also bring...
00:05:18.780 Bring out the best in you.
00:05:22.780 No, but you know, with a good teacher of history at least.
00:05:27.920 So if you pick the right games, it's a very good and glorious thing indeed.
00:05:43.880 So yeah.
00:05:45.160 I'm gonna utilize a little edit right here.
00:05:50.660 And so we get closer to the last turn.
00:05:55.240 And then I'm just gonna take that.
00:05:56.340 So be right back.
00:05:57.920 Alright, I utilized edit there.
00:06:01.720 So, two turns left.
00:06:04.040 And then I suppose we will win.
00:06:06.080 I'm not sure.
00:06:07.340 But that will at least conclude this glorious campaign.
00:06:11.460 And as you see, we have all of Spain there.
00:06:14.940 And that's the reason for that.
00:06:22.220 Now, I wanted to ask you all...
00:06:24.920 What do you want the next Let's Play campaign to be?
00:06:31.360 And also, as I said before, that I do Let's Play videos does in no way, shape or form mean that I do less of any other videos.
00:06:43.260 It just means that I have more videos in total, so it's not that I decide, oh, now I'm gonna make this really cool political video or this really cool training video that I skip doing those because I'm gonna do a Let's Play.
00:07:00.740 That's not the case.
00:07:01.520 That's not the case.
00:07:02.020 This is like my gaming time.
00:07:04.420 Also, it's just that I talk and make a video out of it for anyone who wants to chill, watch that or listen to it a bit.
00:07:20.220 So, I just want to have that said, they're not, like, competing with each other, those two different genres of videos.
00:07:32.440 Alright, cool.
00:07:33.300 Let's take the turn there and see if we actually win now.
00:07:42.940 Otherwise, I suppose, I'll just have to proclaim victory either way.
00:07:51.400 But yeah, comment below what do you want to see.
00:07:55.020 It can be another game, perhaps the Mage of Vampires 2, maybe do one of those campaigns.
00:07:59.840 That would be six episodes each, I suppose.
00:08:06.600 Okay, no, we didn't actually win.
00:08:08.860 Now, but I suppose this will have to be the end of the episode either way.
00:08:25.820 Thank you very much for watching and commenting and listening, etc.
00:08:31.040 So, drop a comment below what you want to see next.
00:08:35.240 It can be a different Total War campaign, it can be a different game, it can be whatever, really.
00:08:42.220 So, glory to the brave Spanish and Portuguese men who reclaimed their land after several centuries of oppression.
00:08:53.840 And may we all draw strength from them.
00:08:56.880 Highly inspiring tale.
00:08:58.300 And I suggest that everyone read up of the history of the Iberian peoples who fought back against the southern Muslim invaders.
00:09:10.640 And who am I?
00:09:11.740 I'm the warrior of Christ.
00:09:13.620 XXO.
00:09:14.620 Boom.
