00:00:00.000 Greetings. Today I want to elaborate on a perhaps controversial topic, but I think it is needed
00:00:10.600 because a lot of people ask this to themselves and to me, and that is, should you become a
00:00:18.240 Catholic? Should you become a Christian? And this is approached from an atheist sort of
00:00:23.580 viewpoint. So I'm talking about the people in Sweden, Norway, certain parts of Germany, America,
00:00:31.220 where you haven't grown up with Christianity. So if you have grown up with Christianity and you're
00:00:35.780 a practicing Christian, and if you are part of a Christian community, I'm not saying that you
00:00:40.280 should go away from it, because if you can draw strength from that, by all means, I don't want to
00:00:45.460 be the one trying to take that away from you. So this is if someone is without a spirituality
00:00:53.200 and can basically choose. So I'm not counter-signaling Christianity for those who are
00:00:59.680 already Christian. I am just saying this is my advice if you don't have any spirituality at the
00:01:05.100 moment, but you want to. So if you're thinking about converting to Catholicism, this is just my
00:01:11.780 a little heads up for you. Now, first and foremost, I'm the first one to recognize correctly,
00:01:17.560 identify the fact that Catholicism and Christianity, even Orthodox Christianity, extremely attractive,
00:01:24.680 extremely glorious aesthetics and everything like that. It is very attractive in that sort of way.
00:01:30.840 But, but, and this is a big however that we need to discuss, it is not congruent with a lot of
00:01:40.860 the soul of our people. And I speak as a Norseman, and this obviously applies for
00:01:46.340 many other Europeans as well. If you look in the Bible, and I've done this over the last year,
00:01:52.580 because I've obviously been interested in it to, so I don't recommend things to people without
00:01:58.360 knowing what I'm talking about. So looking a bit in the Bible breaks my heart to say it, but like,
00:02:05.600 it's, it's all about Israel. It's all about Jews. It's all about a completely different geography
00:02:13.580 than our own. And it's so hard for me to relate to it. So my perspective was an atheist slash pagan
00:02:23.480 looking into Catholicism, because I wanted to know more about it. But it is so foreign, at least for me,
00:02:31.760 that I can't endorse it for anyone who is in my situation. And I'm saying this because if there is
00:02:38.240 a choice between paganism, for example, or Catholicism, or being an Orthodox in Sweden,
00:02:46.120 I don't view it as reasonable to go with the Catholic path. And this becomes quite clear when
00:02:51.000 you look deeper into it. So it looks beautiful on the outside. If you get a closer look at it,
00:02:55.960 yeah, not something I can endorse. It pains me to say this, I didn't really want to do it either,
00:03:01.420 because I don't want any infighting either. But if we have the possibility to revive Europe,
00:03:09.120 revive Sweden, for example, in a spiritual sense, the Catholic Church is not what you're looking for.
00:03:15.440 I'm sorry to say this, but paganism is much more in tune with our nature, can take such a thing as
00:03:21.320 how you view time. The Norse mythology way of viewing time is cycles, which aligns perfectly well
00:03:29.100 with how nature works here. You know, the year goes in cycles, whereas in the desert, it's just an
00:03:35.500 endless time that goes forward. Same Christianity has that sort of view, that time is just one stretch,
00:03:43.380 whereas the Norse interpretation of time is going in cycles, which makes more sense and brings more
00:03:49.300 harmony to my soul at least. And then it's a case of being subservient to a deity. It speaks more to
00:03:57.500 my soul as a Faustian man to adhere to the principles of the Norse gods than it is to submit to a god that
00:04:09.180 originally is from the Middle East. That's just how it is. I don't want to submit to the Christian god.
00:04:18.200 I don't want to embrace the teachings of Christianity. I don't like the Bible. I don't think the Bible is
00:04:24.920 a good book. So there it is. That's my thoughts on if you should become a Christian or not.
00:04:34.560 Now, keep in mind, I still have great historic respect for Christianity for a lot of different
00:04:40.720 reasons, but that doesn't mean that I want Christianity going forward. So the same thing,
00:04:45.160 I can have a deep historic respect for the Swedish soldiers who fought against Russians,
00:04:51.080 Poles, and Germans. Now, obviously, Poland is our greatest ally in this day and age, but I still respect
00:04:58.380 our Swedish soldiers who fought against these other Europeans. But that doesn't mean that I want that
00:05:03.360 going forward. Same thing with Christianity. It's played a good role in European history to a certain extent,
00:05:10.600 but going forward in Sweden, at least, I don't want it to be Christian because the fundament of it is flawed.
00:05:17.720 And I say that because the reading a bit in the Bible is incongruent with at least my worldview.
00:05:25.840 So I would definitely recommend a revival of paganism in especially Scandinavia. Then again,
00:05:32.820 in countries such as Poland, France, Spain, Italy, I still want the Catholic Church to be strong there
00:05:40.500 because it's still a powerful entity. It's still an entity that brings people together. But in the north,
00:05:47.380 in basically all Protestant nations, the church has become something that is quite separated from our
00:05:54.820 souls and something I cannot recommend anyone to partake in. And then someone might say that you're
00:06:03.940 LARPing as a pagan. Yeah, but honestly, I would LARP even more as being a Christian, especially if you
00:06:11.640 haven't been a Christian. So for me, I'm not baptized. I'm not confirmed. I have no real connection with the
00:06:16.780 Catholic Church. So for me to adapt something that I can just feel it is not for me, that if anything would
00:06:23.660 be LARPing. And also, like, if you are interested in Catholicism, don't take my word for it. Investigate
00:06:31.440 for yourself and ask yourself, is this the right path for me? Is this the sort of spirituality I want
00:06:38.420 to adhere to? And I think at least that for many people who have, for many high Thumos guys, like me
00:06:47.460 from Scandinavia especially, I would say that I don't think you will feel at home there. And here's
00:06:54.460 something Survive the Jive told me when we talked about it. So I asked him, like, oh, what do you think
00:06:59.940 about Christianity and Catholicism? And he held a two-hour monologue, which I listened to. And a profound
00:07:06.340 thing he said there was, it makes more sense to be a Christian in a city than it does if you have
00:07:14.240 access to a forest. Because a church can supply that place of contemplation and serenity. But if
00:07:21.500 you already live out in the countryside, if you have a forest nearby, and I mean in Sweden, even if you
00:07:28.100 live in the city, it's not far to the nearest forest, then you already have your temple, as it were. And
00:07:35.840 also if you have a temple of Iron, you can actively worship the teachings of Thor there. And I'm obviously
00:07:42.840 not saying that Christians shouldn't also pray in the temple of Iron. Ultimately, the spiritual
00:07:47.300 struggle is secondary to the metapolitical and the cultural struggle. So that's also why I hesitated
00:07:52.900 to make this video, because I don't want to have any infighting between pagans and Christians,
00:07:57.300 because I think that's unnecessary when we have a lot of bigger fish to fry. But I'm just saying that
00:08:03.300 for a pagan, the nature, the forest is a more suitable temple than a church. And I say this as someone who
00:08:11.540 absolutely love churches. I absolutely do. So take it for what it is. So lastly, yet again, this video was for
00:08:19.620 the people who are looking into a spirituality, and they haven't already been into it. So if you are from Poland,
00:08:28.420 if you are from France, if you are from certain parts of Germany, I am absolutely not saying that
00:08:34.100 you should renounce Catholicism. But this is for the guys who, they don't have a spirituality. And I can
00:08:39.300 just say that if you're interested in Christianity, look into the teachings of it, read the Bible,
00:08:46.180 and see, is this the religion for me? Is this the spirituality for me? Is the Holy Land in the Middle East,
00:08:52.660 or is it in Europe? I know full well that the Holy Land, for me at least, is Sweden in May. No more
00:09:01.380 beautiful place to be. So that's my take on the situation. The way you view the gods, more in tune
00:09:06.900 with our nature as well. Reincarnation, your being, your ancestors, and you're becoming your offspring,
00:09:14.820 your children as well. More reasonable, more scientific than believing in heaven or hell. I honestly,
00:09:22.180 I can't believe in heaven or hell. I believe that your immortality is in your genes, in your genetics,
00:09:28.180 and you achieve immortality via your children. And your ancestors are, to a certain extent, you.
00:09:35.460 So that's two completely different views on life as well, and I adhere to the, in my view at least,
00:09:41.140 more scientific way. So, rambling over. I hope that brought some perspective to you.
00:09:47.940 X-X-O. Boom.
