00:00:00.000 Greetings you proud Sons of the Old Father!
00:00:07.000 Now, let me first of all actually apologize.
00:00:10.000 It's not often I apologize actually, but I just saw that the last episode of this campaign was over a month ago.
00:00:19.000 And that's not particularly glorious at all.
00:00:24.000 But as I've said, I have had a quite busy schedule indeed.
00:00:32.000 But now I am back, feeling a bit rusty since it was quite some time I made a let's play overall.
00:00:39.000 But I'm gonna continue to make episodes for this campaign, my Western Roman campaign,
00:00:45.000 and my campaign on Rome Total War II with the Hellenes in the East, the Bactrians.
00:00:54.000 So last we left off, we have taken Burdigala.
00:01:00.000 We have also taken Elusa, or not even taken, it was a desolate settlement.
00:01:05.000 So we create a little colony there.
00:01:09.000 We see here, we have some Saxons, that are not friendly. 1.00
00:01:15.000 And then we have a Vandal Spire.
00:01:18.000 But I'm just gonna take the turn, in all actuality, and we'll see what the crack is.
00:01:25.000 Now as you notice, you can't see my face, which might be unfortunate, considering you can see more of the facial expressions as I'm talking, etc.
00:01:38.000 Oh, look at that, we have a battle on Iran, which we will not take. 0.99
00:01:44.000 See, they have over 4,000 troops.
00:01:48.000 I don't, I don't wanna fight you.
00:01:51.000 Ah, look at that.
00:01:53.000 And it's...
00:01:58.000 That is unfortunate.
00:02:00.000 I don't wanna waste any time on that.
00:02:06.000 As I was saying, I have not a facecam today, because the setup is so much easier to do,
00:02:12.000 when I don't set up the facecam, in all actuality.
00:02:19.000 Now it's a different thing when I'm twitching, because then I'm just using my regular webcam.
00:02:26.000 It's much easier to set up.
00:02:28.000 Whereas in my usual let's plays, when I have a facecam, I have to import it from the camera, etc.
00:02:39.000 So it's a bit more of a hustle, and I thought to myself, like, okay, since my study situation, and everything else,
00:02:46.000 with training and whatnot, writing articles, etc.
00:02:51.000 I...
00:02:52.000 I only have so much time.
00:02:54.000 We will come for you, in the night.
00:02:56.000 And nothing will live.
00:02:57.000 Oh, look at that.
00:02:58.000 Not one creature.
00:03:00.000 That is our war. 0.86
00:03:01.000 My Irish true friends, why have you betrayed your Nordic brother like that? 1.00
00:03:05.000 Okay.
00:03:06.000 It...
00:03:07.000 It hurts.
00:03:08.000 But...
00:03:09.000 It is what it is.
00:03:10.000 The...
00:03:11.000 You fear us.
00:03:12.000 It is in your eyes. 0.97
00:03:13.000 In your stench.
00:03:14.000 How do I now?
00:03:15.000 I fear no, man.
00:03:16.000 And you are right to fear.
00:03:17.000 War comes. 0.57
00:03:18.000 Come at me, bro.
00:03:19.000 Come at me. 0.99
00:03:20.000 Alright, let's have a go at the Celts. 0.69
00:03:23.000 They...
00:03:24.000 How dare they talk to me like that.
00:03:27.000 So yeah, as I was elaborating on regarding the situation with the...
00:03:33.000 Lack of facecam.
00:03:36.000 Okay.
00:03:37.000 Cool.
00:03:39.000 Cool.
00:03:41.000 We...
00:03:45.000 We will actually take this battle.
00:03:46.000 I'm just going to elaborate quickly.
00:03:50.000 Yeah, I'd rather do episodes that I can do on a moment's notice and upload them.
00:03:58.000 So...
00:03:59.000 So even though it's not a facecam, it's...
00:04:01.000 I thought it's better to do an episode without it than not do an episode at all.
00:04:07.000 Glory to Makedon!
00:04:09.000 So, the Bastardians versus the Geats. 0.69
00:04:12.000 And it's...
00:04:13.000 This will be one glorious battle to...
00:04:18.000 To have this...
00:04:19.000 This episode about.
00:04:21.000 And then also, like, all the popular...
00:04:24.000 Total Warrior YouTubers are actually having...
00:04:27.000 Not having a facecam also.
00:04:29.000 And as...
00:04:30.000 Might have said it in the past, Warrior of Sparta.
00:04:35.000 His channel is among the True Friend channels, which is in the right hand side at my YouTube channel when you go into it.
00:04:43.000 He is my...
00:04:45.000 My favorite Total Warrior YouTuber.
00:04:48.000 Great guy.
00:04:49.000 Lovely English accent as well.
00:04:51.000 And he has an adorable daughter as well that is present in...
00:04:56.000 In some...
00:04:57.000 Some episodes.
00:04:59.000 She chose the Sassanids to make... 1.00
00:05:02.000 Make a campaign...
00:05:05.000 With.
00:05:06.000 Alright, cool.
00:05:07.000 So, uh...
00:05:08.000 Let's have a battle.
00:05:09.000 This is really nice.
00:05:11.000 I've missed playing Total War.
00:05:13.000 Men of the North.
00:05:17.000 Alright.
00:05:19.000 They're...
00:05:20.000 The aggressors.
00:05:21.000 So they will have to come to us.
00:05:24.000 I'm actually gonna back down...
00:05:26.000 A bit.
00:05:29.000 To here.
00:05:30.000 And...
00:05:32.000 We'll build our little base, as it were, with...
00:05:35.000 With these Spearmens.
00:05:37.000 Spearmen, I mean.
00:05:38.000 Not...
00:05:39.000 Not Spearmens.
00:05:40.000 That was...
00:05:41.000 Not English, uh...
00:05:42.000 In all actuality.
00:05:43.000 And...
00:05:44.000 Still warming it up.
00:05:45.000 Uh...
00:05:46.000 As per you.
00:05:52.000 Something I've learnt is that...
00:05:55.000 The archers will, uh...
00:05:56.000 Get attacked by Light Cavalry.
00:05:58.000 So it...
00:05:59.000 It's always a good idea to utilize some, uh...
00:06:01.000 Spearmen to have in...
00:06:02.000 In backup.
00:06:03.000 So these, uh...
00:06:04.000 Highly glorious, uh...
00:06:05.000 Units.
00:06:08.000 And then here is our, uh...
00:06:09.000 Our...
00:06:11.000 Our skirmish.
00:06:12.000 Will...
00:06:13.000 Will just take it, uh...
00:06:15.000 Gonna...
00:06:16.000 Take them a bit closer so I can rush, uh...
00:06:19.000 Rush for...
00:06:20.000 And also, uh...
00:06:21.000 Lose formation, uh...
00:06:22.000 As to avoid missile damage from the enemy.
00:06:25.000 And these guys will...
00:06:32.000 Be a little backup.
00:06:35.000 In all actuality.
00:06:37.000 And the...
00:06:39.000 General...
00:06:40.000 Will stand behind it all.
00:06:44.000 To just, uh...
00:06:45.000 Admire the action.
00:06:47.000 We're gonna zoom into him and see, uh...
00:06:49.000 Reinforcements! 1.00
00:06:50.000 More for us to kill! 1.00
00:06:55.000 The enemy has been sighted! 1.00
00:06:57.000 Fwaa.
00:06:58.000 Admire these, though.
00:06:59.000 Love it.
00:07:00.000 Love the aesthetic, students.
00:07:02.000 And now, also in Sweden.
00:07:03.000 It's, uh...
00:07:04.000 Early April.
00:07:05.000 When I'm, uh...
00:07:06.000 Doing this battle.
00:07:08.000 It's also beginning to get sunny.
00:07:10.000 So I appreciate that...
00:07:12.000 It's a bit sunny here on the...
00:07:14.000 On the battlefield.
00:07:15.000 Also...
00:07:16.000 Highly glorious.
00:07:23.000 Men of the North!
00:07:25.000 Ring!
00:07:26.000 It, uh...
00:07:27.000 Oh, yeah.
00:07:28.000 Obviously, ring is the same...
00:07:29.000 Same word as in Swedish.
00:07:31.000 I thought to teach you some Swedish, but it was quite, uh...
00:07:34.000 Quite obvious that...
00:07:35.000 That ring is, uh...
00:07:37.000 Is the same.
00:07:38.000 Uh...
00:07:39.000 Why are you standing here?
00:07:42.000 I might wonder.
00:07:43.000 Since you are the aggressors.
00:07:45.000 So, uh...
00:07:46.000 It's...
00:07:48.000 It's them who have to come to us. 0.94
00:07:49.000 And, of course, they want to fortify this, uh...
00:07:54.000 This hilltop.
00:07:55.000 But, um...
00:07:58.000 They will lose if they do not attack me.
00:08:01.000 So, uh...
00:08:02.000 They can feel very welcome to come to me.
00:08:04.000 And...
00:08:05.000 And...
00:08:06.000 I just want to talk to you.
00:08:07.000 And...
00:08:11.000 Since the last episode I made, you saw that when the, uh...
00:08:14.000 The Irish and the, uh... 1.00
00:08:16.000 Picts.
00:08:17.000 Like, the Ebdanians and the... 1.00
00:08:18.000 Picts, uh...
00:08:19.000 Attacked me.
00:08:20.000 They had different, uh...
00:08:21.000 New...
00:08:22.000 Uh...
00:08:23.000 Sigils. 1.00
00:08:24.000 Which are upgraded from the Celtic culture pack.
00:08:27.000 Now, I don't have that culture pack yet, because I have so many...
00:08:30.000 So many campaigns to...
00:08:33.000 To play before that, uh...
00:08:35.000 Before I have to do with those.
00:08:37.000 I actually started a campaign with the Eastern Roman Empire to just try it out.
00:08:41.000 Um...
00:08:42.000 Um...
00:08:43.000 I might...
00:08:44.000 Might do one episode...
00:08:45.000 Just showing, uh...
00:08:46.000 Where I'm at in the campaign, et cetera.
00:08:53.000 I utilize a sip of coffee there.
00:08:55.000 Some glorious Lindvalls coffee.
00:08:57.000 Um...
00:08:58.000 Which...
00:09:00.000 I...
00:09:01.000 Feel...
00:09:02.000 Like I should say, because you can't see it.
00:09:10.000 We will pierce their hearts! 0.90
00:09:12.000 We will pierce their hearts! 0.99
00:09:18.000 Run! 1.00
00:09:19.000 Curse you! 0.99
00:09:20.000 Alright, so there we have... 0.99
00:09:22.000 The Germanic Nobles. 0.90
00:09:29.000 I, uh...
00:09:30.000 Do indeed want to, uh...
00:09:34.000 To fight him.
00:09:39.000 And there we have those...
00:09:44.000 Those, uh... 1.00
00:09:45.000 Bastards. 1.00
00:09:46.000 Now glory to the north! 1.00
00:09:53.000 How dare they assault me like this.
00:09:57.000 Uh...
00:09:58.000 I would...
00:09:59.000 Admire the action a bit more, but, uh...
00:10:05.000 I feel it's prudent to...
00:10:10.000 To try to win this battle.
00:10:16.000 Run! 0.68
00:10:17.000 Run! 0.68
00:10:19.000 Run! 0.68
00:10:20.000 Run! 0.68
00:10:26.000 Run! 0.68
00:10:28.000 Run! 0.68
00:10:29.000 Run! 0.68
00:10:30.000 Run! 0.68
00:10:31.000 Run! 0.68
00:10:32.000 Run! 0.68
00:10:33.000 Run! 0.68
00:10:34.000 Run! 0.68
00:10:35.000 Run! 0.68
00:10:36.000 Run! 0.68
00:10:37.000 Run! 0.68
00:10:38.000 Alright, let's get you into...
00:10:39.000 To a...
00:10:40.000 To a shield wall instead.
00:10:41.000 Run! 0.68
00:10:42.000 Run! 0.68
00:10:43.000 Run! 0.68
00:10:44.000 They don't really have that many, okay, I'm sorry, they actually do have very many melee units.
00:10:54.960 And admire this thang right now. 0.99
00:10:58.340 I'm gonna try to shoot these to death with my missile-armed warriors. 1.00
00:11:06.880 Yes, come on then. 1.00
00:11:11.040 Talos, I love you.
00:11:14.000 I hope they can get in a good battle-ready-and-e-ga. 1.00
00:11:27.920 I'm gonna break these bastards. 1.00
00:11:34.740 Oh, look at that. 1.00
00:11:36.060 Germanic levy gets totally destroyed.
00:11:39.120 All of its ammunition.
00:11:45.860 Ah, brilliant.
00:11:51.560 Men of the north!
00:11:54.080 All right.
00:11:54.920 Okay, they have utilized all of their ammunition, and we have broken their main line.
00:12:04.300 And now it will be very interesting to see if we can get closer without getting shot to death by their missile superiority.
00:12:18.920 All-fathers, I love you!
00:12:28.740 Ah, glorious.
00:12:30.980 I suppose that was glorious.
00:12:35.020 I hope they can actually catch them.
00:12:39.600 All right, we are into combat now, true friends.
00:12:56.280 True friends and beloved sons of the old father.
00:13:00.060 Germanic band.
00:13:02.060 Okay.
00:13:03.740 Our horses died.
00:13:06.340 You know, like Shelby. 0.96
00:13:07.720 That was unfortunate.
00:13:16.440 The gods want blood! 0.79
00:13:20.060 All right, let's see my reaction.
00:13:21.800 Fwa, myrin.
00:13:23.500 All right, let's see if we can get a rear shot here.
00:13:47.120 Aw, it's so beautiful.
00:13:54.340 It is so glorious. 1.00
00:13:58.920 Aw, fuck, look at that. 1.00
00:14:01.220 Pike, man. 1.00
00:14:05.140 I'm gonna try to get around them.
00:14:09.180 Cool, they are...
00:14:10.180 They're breaking.
00:14:11.200 I will have to...
00:14:14.120 Get around this blasphemous pike wall. 1.00
00:14:17.120 Men of the north.
00:14:25.660 The enemy has killed our general. 1.00
00:14:28.000 Aw, fuck. 1.00
00:14:29.060 The men have broken and are fleeing. 1.00
00:14:31.540 Our general has fallen.
00:14:33.980 How very...
00:14:35.940 Unglorious.
00:14:38.180 You know that, Shelby.
00:14:40.800 Our men are wavering.
00:14:45.640 Missile Voyage!
00:14:47.120 The men have given up and are running for their lives.
00:14:55.660 The men have given up and are running for their lives.
00:14:59.660 The men have given up and are running for their lives.
00:15:12.200 Okay, it seems like we have lost this battle in all actuality, but...
00:15:18.740 It was a good battle nonetheless, I suppose.
00:15:23.440 All right, cool.
00:15:24.440 All right, cool.
00:15:25.440 All right, cool.
00:15:27.300 We lost the battle.
00:15:29.040 Fair and square.
00:15:31.120 Valiant defeat.
00:15:32.220 Okay, they actually took more losses, but...
00:15:38.760 We lost nonetheless.
00:15:42.760 I will redeem this horrendous transgression.
00:15:46.760 All right, they're coming at us again.
00:16:00.300 I don't really see any point in taking that battle, so I'm just gonna let them defeat our unit.
00:16:12.840 Decisive defeat.
00:16:13.840 Decisive defeat.
00:16:15.840 Decisive defeat.
00:16:16.840 Okay, he has a prize on his head now. 1.00
00:16:19.380 I will destroy him for his insolent grace. 0.99
00:16:21.840 You fear us. 0.99
00:16:23.340 It is in your eyes, in your stench, and you are right to fear.
00:16:28.100 War comes. 0.57
00:16:31.020 All right.
00:16:31.800 That...
00:16:34.440 That hurt.
00:16:37.640 I thought we were true friends, the Angles and I, but...
00:16:41.560 But oh no, they weren't.
00:16:44.760 Then I will exact my revenge on them as well.
00:16:48.760 All right, and we have a rebellion in Gotiskansar.
