The Great America Show - AMERICA’S ELITES ARE PATHOLOGICAL

00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody. I'm Lou Dobbs. This is The Great America Show, and welcome. Thanks for

00:00:08.120 being with us today. Another suspected Chinese balloon has been spotted flying over the United

00:00:14.040 States following a familiar path across the northwestern states. The balloon spotted Sunday

00:00:21.000 night over Montana at 57,000 feet. The Biden regime, following the same course as previous

00:00:28.040 balloon intrusions, first saying the origin and destination of the balloon is unknown.

00:00:33.760 The Department of Defense saying that due to the size of the balloon, there's a, quote,

00:00:38.640 low probability that the balloon is conducting surveillance. And now the administration is

00:00:44.240 saying not only will they not shoot it down, but they won't even be investigating. And while Biden

00:00:50.740 allows what could be another Chinese balloon to float over the United States, he's apparently

00:00:56.460 unconcerned as well that China is about to build a military base in China, 90 miles from the

00:01:02.880 southern coast of Florida. President Biden has yet to say a single word about China's intentions in

00:01:10.080 Cuba. President Trump over the week did speak at the Faith and Freedom Coalition and said he has an

00:01:16.340 idea why President Biden has yet to say a word about China and the China military base in Cuba.

00:01:23.140 These countries know every penny the Biden crime family has taken in. The countries know Ukraine

00:01:29.640 knows China knows. They all know that many countries. So he can't even or ever go against

00:01:36.280 them. He can't go against them because they'll reveal the corruption because they know exactly.

00:01:41.040 They'll say, well, we sent the check here. We sent the check there. We said. So he has to be very nice to

00:01:46.040 China. Has to be very nice to Ukraine. And a huge success will be when the New York Times and the

00:01:53.400 Washington Post and others put it on their front page. What's really happening here? Because this is

00:01:58.500 truly 100 times bigger than Watergate. This is a much bigger story than Watergate. That's why Biden

00:02:04.220 doesn't mind that China has opened up these military installations and in the process of building a

00:02:10.540 tremendous amount in Cuba. It's only 90 miles off our coast. He's basically said it's OK. He's not

00:02:18.080 doing anything. He's not even saying anything. He's not talking about it. President Biden is under

00:02:24.020 mounting pressure over the last two weeks as whistleblowers bring forth more allegations

00:02:28.960 and evidence against Biden and his family as the congressional investigations roll on,

00:02:35.060 despite stonewalling by the White House, the Department of Justice and FBI. House Speaker

00:02:40.980 Kevin McCarthy moving last week to stop Republican members from supporting a resolution to impeach Joe

00:02:47.660 Biden. Again, McCarthy following the rhino way. And now McCarthy says he is open to an impeachment

00:02:55.620 inquiry into Attorney General Merrick Garland. But why not Biden and Garland? Here is McCarthy on Fox News

00:03:03.880 talking about impeachment of Merrick Garland. By July 6th, because of the allegations from the IRS,

00:03:10.940 because of the whistleblowers and the DOJ, Garland, what he is saying and what David Weiss are saying

00:03:17.800 privately are two different things. Right. And if it comes true what the IRS whistleblower is saying,

00:03:23.000 we're going to start impeachment inquiries on the Attorney General. Although Garland should be impeached

00:03:27.520 for a number of reasons, Garland isn't the one who took bribes from China and from Ukraine.

00:03:34.240 Garland is complicit in protecting the Biden family. And certainly President Biden and Attorney General

00:03:40.380 Garland are corrupt. To take all of this up and much more, let's turn to our guest today. Joining us

00:03:46.180 is Lee Smith. He's the author of the books The Permanent Coup and The Plot Against the President. Lee,

00:03:52.360 great to have you back with us on The Great America Show. Let's begin with where we are right now,

00:03:57.520 with what appears to me to be an all out frontal assault across the board from all of government

00:04:03.140 to take on and to take down President Donald Trump while Biden has a free pass.

00:04:10.880 Yes, and this certainly corrects a bizarre talking point that we saw over the last previous months

00:04:17.920 about how no, no, no. The reason the Democrats are going after Trump is because they don't want to run

00:04:23.560 against Ron DeSantis. They're really scared of him, but they really want to run against Trump.

00:04:29.240 Look, I very much admire Governor DeSantis. This has nothing to do with him. What I'm saying is

00:04:35.000 it's now time for people to understand what's happening. They're not trying to destroy Donald

00:04:39.920 Trump because they want to run against them. It's not how the left works. They're trying to destroy

00:04:44.660 him to destroy him. That's it. So it's important. It's important for our folks to understand what it 0.84

00:04:51.780 really means when they're trying to destroy Donald Trump.

00:04:54.580 And it's as straightforward as it could be. And yet the national media is setting out all of these

00:04:59.740 little interesting, spinning, shiny obstacles in their coverage and their narratives, all of which

00:05:05.980 add up to nonsense. They're trying to bring anyone in, whether it was Mike Pompeo, it was Chris Christie,

00:05:15.460 whoever the Aza Hutchinson's even gotten a run. They're looking for anyone who could possibly

00:05:24.240 stand up against Donald Trump, any rhino and controllable rhino who would do the bidding of 0.87

00:05:31.060 the donor class, the oligarchs, the establishment Republicans and establishment Democrats, right?

00:05:37.000 Lou, a lot of people, I think we can learn a lot of things from the Democrats and the DOJ,

00:05:45.380 DOJ's campaign against Donald Trump. A lot of people believe that certainly because of what

00:05:51.140 happened in 2022 midterms, that there's not a clear path to victory for a GOP candidate. I've

00:05:57.520 heard that argument and it seems pretty reasonable to me. I've heard it from serious people,

00:06:01.660 from serious pollsters, not that I know much about polling to begin with, but I'm telling you the way

00:06:06.600 they're attacking him, it really does suggest to me that they're quite fearful that Donald Trump could

00:06:12.200 win in 2024. And the law of unintended consequences in in vigorous display, his numbers, his polling

00:06:21.240 numbers, Trump's go up with the with every indictment, every nefarious phony charge brought by either the

00:06:30.240 Justice Department or state or local prosecutors. Yes. And the reason why is because they think they're

00:06:39.360 dealing with the emotional and moral tenor of people on their own side, right? This is what the elites

00:06:48.020 think. If you if you paint one of their friends, one of their allies, one of their comrades as

00:06:55.160 questionable, they'll back off them. That's how Washington works, right? These people have the

00:07:00.840 spines made of balsa wood. They're nothing. But as it turns out, there is a very important part of this

00:07:07.700 country, which feels which feels loyalty toward its people, toward its friends, toward its family

00:07:15.440 members, toward its leadership, toward the people who have stood up for them. So they are using the

00:07:20.840 kind of operation that would work against their own people. If they called one of their own people

00:07:25.660 creeps, you bet your life that they would abandon him in a second. But that's not what's happening with

00:07:31.800 the other part of the country who looks around and they say, if you creeps are attacking a guy on my

00:07:37.300 side, I know where I am. I know where my loyalties lie. And it's not with you folks. It's with the guy

00:07:43.480 that you keep targeting, that you won't let alone because you're coming after us, too.

00:07:48.740 It is truly remarkable that the national corporatist media, the propaganda media,

00:07:56.220 the legacy media, every day conspires to take on Trump and to shield and protect Joe Biden at all

00:08:08.220 costs. I looked at the Washington Post this morning on their homepage, scrolling, scrolling and scrolling

00:08:15.060 some more. Not a word, not a word about Joe Biden, the bribery evidence that is now direct evidence

00:08:24.420 against Joe Biden. Not a word from the from the Bezos bugle, as I now call the Washington Post,

00:08:33.860 another oligarch, another news outlet. Give me a break. Your thoughts.

00:08:38.740 I think I told you beforehand that I had one thing that's really been on my mind the last couple of

00:08:45.300 days. And this is among among every other reason I'm always excited to talk to you. I wanted to talk

00:08:50.720 about this. There are a lot of people, a lot of folks, I hear them friends, neighbors and like,

00:08:55.420 well, don't you think the fact that some of this Biden corruption is coming out? And it looks like

00:09:00.840 the press is really going after Kareem Jean-Pierre the other day. And it looks like who knows, maybe

00:09:06.780 Obama let them loose on Joe Biden and they're going to swap swap out Biden for Gavin Newsom or for some

00:09:13.040 other bright and talented rising star in the Democratic Party. And my answer is this. And I

00:09:20.620 think this is so important for us to get straight, is that they knew that Joe Biden was in cognitive

00:09:25.860 decline in 2020. That's why they hit him in a basement. Right. That's why they kept him away from the

00:09:32.280 public. They knew what they were getting. They knew what I'm sorry. No, I'm sorry. I was just saying I think

00:09:38.800 you're absolutely right. No one talks about it, but I think you're absolutely right. They knew what

00:09:43.940 they were getting then. And look at what look at what has been accomplished behind the blank screen

00:09:50.220 of Joe Biden. The progressive have progressives build very central central parts of their wish list,

00:10:00.180 perhaps most importantly, opening up our southern border one and number two, earmarking trillions of

00:10:07.260 dollars for the climate change agenda. What do they have wrong with Joe Biden at this point?

00:10:12.600 Nothing. I say that this is important for us to understand because we need to recognize the nature

00:10:19.600 and the character of the people we're dealing with. If this was a regular moment in American politics,

00:10:24.900 of course, they would look to move out a semi-cadaverous figure out of the office. But this is not a

00:10:33.580 regular moment in American politics. This is a moment in American politics where the president

00:10:39.340 of the United States appears to be mimicking the talking points of Charles Manson trying to kindle

00:10:46.500 a race war. Remember that speech at Howard University? Everyone responded, this is nuts. What's this guy

00:10:51.920 doing? Let's remember the people who have pushed this in the past are actually pathological

00:10:58.740 individuals. That's where we are right now in American history. So again, I urge all of your

00:11:05.580 great audience, all of my friends and neighbors and anyone else, I don't mean to despirit or demoralize

00:11:11.680 anyone. Quite the opposite. I mean to encourage them and say there is light and we will be seeing

00:11:18.840 light soon. But to see the light, we have to recognize everything that we're looking at. We're dealing

00:11:24.620 with pathological lunatics. They're not about Joe Biden. We have to fight with what we know. 0.99

00:11:33.280 Who, in your judgment, are these pathological personalities that are in the shadows, if you

00:11:40.760 will, amongst the cabal that obviously is directing this impaired puppet president? Certainly he's not 1.00

00:11:48.560 leading the nation. Who are they? Well, I think there's probably a pretty broad network. I'll tell

00:11:55.180 you one person that I'll tell you one person who comes immediately to mind. It's the Democrats number

00:12:00.040 one donor. Right. We've been we've been sitting around wondering for, I don't know, the last several

00:12:05.040 years, ever since he's been doing it, why George Soros pours as port millions into into the campaigns for

00:12:14.260 district attorneys across the country? And, you know, why is he doing it? I don't understand.

00:12:19.400 Why does he want to loosen felons on the streets of great American cities and unleash them against

00:12:25.520 American families, against American communities? I don't know. Is there some weird play here about

00:12:29.820 devaluing the American currency like he's like he's done in the past? Is he going to pick up real

00:12:34.700 estate in New York and San Francisco, pennies on the dollar? And you know what? There might be answers

00:12:39.400 to all those questions. But here's the simple fact. This is a man who is paying to set felons

00:12:46.220 loose on the streets of American cities. That's psychopathic. So when I'm talking about a pathical 0.99

00:12:52.900 network of corporate, political and cultural interest, I really mean that these people are

00:12:59.500 pathological. Right. Whatever motives, whatever financial motives there might be, and we don't know

00:13:05.440 there are. We look at the play and that's what we see, something that is pathological.

00:13:11.260 Pathological. We're talking with Lee Smith. He's the author of The Permanent Coup,

00:13:15.520 a brilliant political analyst, and I have to say social critic as well. Lee Smith,

00:13:22.420 we're continuing with him in just moments. Please stay with us through these messages.

00:13:27.280 All right, we're back now. We're talking with Lee Smith, great American. And Lee was talking about

00:13:38.840 the pathological forces that have been unleashed on our society, on our country, on our people,

00:13:45.500 in particular by George Soros. And a lot, Lee, as you said, is coming forward out of the fog

00:13:55.480 to confront the American people, whether it's CRT, ESG, IDE, or whatever. If you put those initials

00:14:06.100 together, diversity, environment, and inclusion, you can spell the word die, which is exactly what

00:14:14.520 I think many of these left Marxist activists are trying to accomplish. Your thoughts?

00:14:20.960 Well, just to continue on the vein of the lunacy, certainly what's going on with the ESG

00:14:26.640 indices and with the right diversity, inclusivity, equity, whatever it is, this is certainly meant

00:14:34.180 to tear huge gaps in the social fabric here at home. But I want to mention something that a lot

00:14:40.560 of us are obviously concerned about, which is Joe Biden's proxy war on Russia's borders.

00:14:45.320 And we have to look at that and tie that together with what we now know about the Biden family's

00:14:51.540 corruption in Ukraine. So again, to come back to this, to come back to understanding the character

00:14:59.200 of this regime, remember, this is one of the things that we're supposed to do in foreign policy.

00:15:03.500 And this is what the so-called realist refused to do, to look at the character of regimes,

00:15:09.340 right? And the neocons went in the other direction just as stupidly. They said, well, 1.00

00:15:14.080 a regime is only described by the very people on top. No, a regime is also how it afflicts an entire

00:15:21.040 society. And our entire society is now paying for the pathologies at the top. Look, we have to ask

00:15:28.600 ourselves now that it seems that Joe Biden wants to re-enter the Iran nuclear deal with Iran,

00:15:34.680 isn't it time that we should start wondering, wait, why is the Obama-Biden faction so intent

00:15:40.060 on delivering, legalizing a nuclear weapon for a terror state? What is going on? What can possibly

00:15:47.320 be the upside? The problem is not just how this threatens traditional American allies in the

00:15:52.460 Middle East, and top of the list is Israel, but what does it do to the United States? What does it do to 0.84

00:15:58.900 the character of our country that our leadership class shares values with a terror state like the 1.00

00:16:05.520 Islamic Republic of Iran? So again, I want to, I am keen for people to start looking at the character

00:16:14.200 of our leadership class, our ruling class, so we understand what we're up against, and we don't 0.53

00:16:21.740 confuse ourselves saying, this is a normal time. Tragically, it's not a normal time. But as I said,

00:16:27.760 I am fully confident that the great patriots in our great country will lead the way,

00:16:36.780 and there is light over the horizon.

00:16:40.140 That light also is brought to you by none other than the man who's been carrying the torch for

00:16:45.900 reason, the American way, and American values, and that, of course, is Donald Trump.

00:16:51.260 I look at these other candidates, and to continue this theme on pathology, when we see the first,

00:16:59.140 what, five, six entrants into the race for the presidential nomination by the Republican Party,

00:17:08.280 all of them are just attacking Trump. They're not there to win. They're not there to show off

00:17:12.940 their skills and appeal as a potential vice president candidate. This lower half of the

00:17:21.720 ticket, they're there trying to destroy President Donald Trump. Don't you agree?

00:17:28.680 I think so. I mean, I haven't heard much from Senator Tim Scott yet, but he may be the only one

00:17:33.800 who's not, you know, who's jumping on top of the pile. But it certainly is peculiar. But I mean,

00:17:39.980 Lou, you've described this better than anyone else in our entire country, in our conservative media or

00:17:49.580 elsewhere, about how this is a function of corporate interest. This is what they're doing.

00:17:55.560 They want to gang up, and they'll pay whatever they can to help destroy Donald Trump. And they

00:18:02.360 have plenty of allies, plenty of allies in crucial U.S. institutions like the Department of Justice.

00:18:09.440 Why are Republicans playing along with this? I don't know. I mean, it must be that the people

00:18:15.920 who are whispering in their ears are making very powerful cases to the vanity of different 0.53

00:18:23.340 candidates. And that's understandable. But you would like to hear other people whispering in

00:18:28.060 the other ear and saying, hey, man, this might cost you your career. People might not like you after

00:18:33.140 this. People have, first of all, Donald Trump is the head of a movement. And there's tens of millions

00:18:38.800 of Americans who feel he was cheated, not only out of 2020, but 2016 as well. They crippled his

00:18:46.060 presidency. And now you're serving as an instrument to disable him heading into 2024. You need to rethink

00:18:54.060 what you're doing. I would love it if there were responsible political consultants and counselors,

00:19:02.640 conciliary, who are telling them, you should not be doing this. Rethink what you're doing. 1.00

00:19:10.200 Support Donald Trump. Support the American public who supports Donald Trump. And your reward will be the

00:19:16.960 love of the American public. Right now, you're heading in the wrong direction.

00:19:20.640 Yeah. And I think that it's time for us to find some leaders who seek

00:19:25.520 nothing, no advantage, no reward, but simply because it's a decent and right thing to do

00:19:32.040 for the United States or this country. Why would Mike Pompeo, a graduate of West Point,

00:19:39.700 served in uniform, he worked for this president, both as head of the CIA and the State Department,

00:19:47.640 why would he suddenly become a buffoon on the campaign trail, talking down the man who gave

00:19:55.420 him every advantage and every opportunity in his administration and simply to attack him?

00:20:03.100 What has President Trump ever done to create such animosity other than perhaps offend their egos?

00:20:10.560 But this is a man who for eight, this is the eighth year of the political persecution of Donald

00:20:17.800 Trump. And he's never been found to be guilty of any wrongdoing whatsoever. By the way, even the

00:20:26.260 cases that were brought against him had to come up with puffery to even begin to think about impeaching

00:20:33.260 him or setting a special counsel on him.

00:20:38.240 Right. I mean, I mean, everything from the E. 0.73

00:20:41.040 Jean Carroll case, which, you know, which is silly and laughable. But of course, that shows us something

00:20:46.200 that we've seen certainly since the Michael Michael Flynn trial, that our justice system,

00:20:53.720 large parts of our justice system have run off the rails. They're they're delirious.

00:20:59.540 And the E. Jean Carroll case is certainly is certainly illustrative of that. I mean,

00:21:04.640 the whole story, when you think about it, Lou, you know, New York. I know New York. I mean,

00:21:10.140 Burdorf, Burdorf Goodman is a very big department store. And the idea that Donald Trump could walk

00:21:15.600 in there, you know, as people have said, who knows if Donald Trump even does his own shopping.

00:21:20.300 But the idea that he works, he walks into Burdorf Goodman and he's not mobbed instantly.

00:21:25.380 And even though E. Jean Carroll can't remember exactly when this happens, any time over the

00:21:29.880 last nearly half a century, Donald Trump walks into a walks into a department store anywhere else

00:21:35.220 and he's mobbed by crowds. Right. So the idea that he could whisk off Ms. Carroll in secret

00:21:41.720 is preposterous. But it just shows you, again, where we are. People are people are. It's not just

00:21:48.500 that they're credulous. People want to believe these incredibly destructive fictions. And this is how

00:21:54.680 we have to look at the the the the so-called classified documents case as well. The whole

00:22:00.300 thing is just ridiculous. Yeah. You're I love your analysis in terms of the personality, the 0.86

00:22:06.160 pathological personalities of the of the Marxist left. But there is also a pathology that's abroad

00:22:14.840 across our society. The left in this country has gone stark raving mad. And people have to understand

00:22:20.520 that over the weekend looking at and looking at Breitbart to see the pictures of these pride marches

00:22:28.400 and the obscenity that was on display before children on streets across the across the country,

00:22:37.080 the trans marches and signs saying we're coming for your kids. And I just why in the world hasn't 0.99

00:22:45.640 there been someone cited for public indecency? Why in the world isn't somebody saying this is

00:22:53.520 outrageous and we're not going to tolerate any more of it? You are. What is next? Are we these

00:23:00.160 people are mentally ill? First of all, people have to understand that they have to comprehend it 0.98

00:23:04.380 and they have to understand that there's no ambiguity in it. They are mentally ill. And what is next? 0.99

00:23:11.280 If you identify as a schizophrenic, we have to deal with multiple personalities on the streets. 0.97

00:23:18.000 What is this? I mean, when do we have to? How in the world are we going to come to terms as a society

00:23:25.020 with this pathological welling within our own society? We're going to take that up with Lee Smith

00:23:33.840 on the other side of this commercial break. Please stay with us, ladies and gentlemen. It'll be worth your

00:23:39.260 while. I promise. We're back with Lee Smith. And Lee, again, thanks for being with us here on The

00:23:50.780 Great America Show. I want to pick up where we left off, and that is with the broader pathology in this

00:23:56.600 country, the mental illness of the LGBTQ, what would you call them, lobby. You know, there are some 1.00

00:24:05.840 really terrific, talented people in that group. There are really some really crazy off-the-wall people

00:24:13.900 as well, and they seem to be the ones who are leading LGBTQ+. Your thoughts?

00:24:21.080 Well, I mean, I think that this is one of the things that's really stirred the moral outrage of

00:24:31.760 Americans, because with the trans industry, the trans agenda, the trans movement, whatever we talk,

00:24:38.160 whatever we want to talk about, there are two different things going on, I think. And I think it's

00:24:41.840 important to distinguish the different aspects of the trans agenda, right? You have people like Rachel

00:24:51.860 Levine, who is now in the Biden administration at HHS. And I mean, this is basically a cross-dresser, 0.96

00:25:00.220 right? And Americans are forced to, this is part of the thing, Americans are compelled to say,

00:25:08.240 no, no, it's a woman. We're forced to tell a lie. That's part of the point, right? We're compelled to 1.00

00:25:14.720 lie, to live in their false reality. The other aspect of it, though, is not the man, you know,

00:25:23.320 as not what are called autogynophiles, men who are play acting as women. The other part is the more

00:25:31.920 malevolent, satanic part, which is processing young women, in some cases, teenagers, and disfiguring 0.95

00:25:45.100 their bodies, mutilating them, sterilizing them. So I think that a lot of people are starting to look

00:25:51.100 at this. And here's one way that I think about it. You know, of course, the famous formula in George

00:25:56.880 Orwell's 1984, which is two plus two equals five, right? Forcing an entire society to commit to a

00:26:06.420 lie, right? It's not enough to say it, it's you have to believe it too. And again, to come back to

00:26:12.220 our theme, to come back to our theme today of the pathological, I think that this represents for lots

00:26:18.860 of people. I mean, this really is a flashing red light, the trans agenda. And I don't like to 1.00

00:26:24.620 confuse this with, you know, with gay and lesbian community and stuff like that. I think this is a 1.00

00:26:31.860 very distinct thing. I think this is a very, I think this is a shocking moment for most Americans as we

00:26:39.500 realize what we're really looking at. And so, again, but I think that people are coming to that

00:26:47.780 recognition. There's something wrong with this country's elites, the corporate class, the political

00:26:54.580 class, cultural class, media, of course, as well. The professional class. I mean, we're talking when

00:27:00.580 you talk about the mutilation of children, of young people, it is happening at the hands of doctors,

00:27:09.660 physicians. Whatever happened to first do no harm? Whatever happened to science? Whatever happened to

00:27:16.580 the medical community, it is trembling before this movement. And in point of fact, embracing it and

00:27:25.000 destroying and devastating the lives of young people. It's incredible. Not only embracing it, 1.00

00:27:33.840 they expect to be celebrated for their moral stature, right? They expect praise for it, that what

00:27:42.580 they're doing, right? What they label as gender-affirming care, sterilizing, mutilating children. 0.94

00:27:49.620 They're the morally righteous ones because they do this. Look, I'm not even sure, you know,

00:27:58.280 my understanding is that our study of past totalitarian regimes suggests that these kind of

00:28:06.000 experimental medical procedures were hidden away from the rest of society. The top officials

00:28:10.760 in the totalitarian regimes understood about these gruesome surgeries, as we see with the Chinese 1.00

00:28:16.740 Communist Party, right? Live organ harvesting from live subjects, from prisoners of conscience,

00:28:24.340 right? But they don't publicize this. They don't boast about it, right? They try to hide this because

00:28:30.680 they understand that people are looking, and it would bring them shame and opprobrium. But here,

00:28:35.480 right now, with our leadership class, they expect to be saluted for this. That is a dark, dark stain on

00:28:46.020 this country. And the stain is widening and deepening. We're looking at churches, religion in this country,

00:28:55.680 organized religion is in decline. Satanism and all of these cult organizations and societies are rising.

00:29:08.820 We are looking at a society that is off the rails morally and objectively. It is a society that's at war

00:29:19.120 with itself. And we don't even have the courage to look at ourselves and say, what in the world are we

00:29:24.380 doing? Our Congress is busy with a lot of investigations, but we also should be investigating

00:29:31.800 the truth about ourselves as a society. Why is it that LGBTQ plus suddenly has this absolutely devastating 1.00

00:29:42.720 bent toward torturing children and taking on a campaign of conversion for crying out loud in our 0.82

00:29:55.680 public schools and our universities and our left-wing national media? 0.98

00:30:00.820 Right. Why are they evangelizing? Because, I mean, this in many ways is the replacement faith,

00:30:07.900 right? This kind of darkness, this pathological evil. And I think you're absolutely right to

00:30:14.540 describe it as satanic. This is something I've been, you know, I've been reading a lot about lately,

00:30:19.440 writing some about. I'm eager to talk to you more about it when my thoughts are even clearer on this.

00:30:26.180 But I think that it's important that we also see that there are lots of Americans who are rising

00:30:32.780 against it. I heard my friend, Sean Davis, great guy. He's a publisher, The Federalist. Sean was telling me

00:30:41.000 that he was at a dinner for the Heritage Foundation and Tucker Carlson gave the keynote. And of course,

00:30:48.920 this appeared on YouTube and it's been all over. It's a terrific speech. And Tucker's the one who, as we all

00:30:55.000 talk about among each other, that what we're really looking at here is not primarily a political

00:31:02.520 struggle, but it's a spiritual struggle. And Sean said, you know, after that speech, everyone

00:31:07.780 understood that something really important had been said. So I think this is something that people

00:31:14.500 recognize. What we lack right now is the clarity of language to explain exactly what's happening,

00:31:23.960 because people know they see these dark forces and it looks like evil and it is evil. But it's very

00:31:31.720 hard for us to believe that this is happening here, right? Ceaușescu's Romania was an evil regime that

00:31:40.380 was swallowed up by the ground. How is it possible that trembling beneath the foundations of the

00:31:49.300 world's oldest democracy, the greatest nation in world history, how is it possible? So that's why I

00:31:56.440 think, again, the more we can talk about this, the more that we can refine our language, our

00:32:01.600 understanding of this, because people do feel it and people do see it and people are outraged and

00:32:07.860 people are scared as well. We need people to be less frightened and we need them to be forthright

00:32:12.820 and we need them to have this clarity of thought and the clarity of language to get through this,

00:32:18.600 to win.

00:32:19.460 And I think you're exactly right. And I also think that we also have to understand this is

00:32:25.000 not only a battle between good and evil. This is a battle between the elitists of both parties,

00:32:32.380 not just the radical Marxist Dems, but those elites of the Republican Party who most for the most part are

00:32:40.500 rhinos and libertarians, if I may say. And we are watching our middle class just being beaten down.

00:32:51.060 They have been brutalized over the last 30 or 40 years, our middle class. Working men and women and

00:32:57.260 their families have been shoveled every kind of nonsense and told to accept it, whether it be

00:33:06.300 critical race theory, whether it be systemic racism and the idea of reparations. Think how that sounds

00:33:15.260 to a couple with a couple of kids working all day long and they're hearing about reparations from the

00:33:23.780 California state government. They're out of their minds and nobody will say it. Who the hell thinks

00:33:31.440 that? Who thinks that that's a correct response to any, any slight ever done to someone 150 years

00:33:38.740 ago? It's madness on its face and no one will say it out loudly. We always give, we always give our

00:33:45.380 guests the last word. And I'm going to, if I, if I may, ask you for your concluding thoughts on our

00:33:50.680 visit here today. Great to have you with us.

00:33:52.860 Lou, it's great to be speaking with you as always. It's always a treat and wishing you a great summer.

00:33:58.140 And I hope that, um, I hope we get to speak again before the summer is over. I just want to say

00:34:03.720 following up on what you said, I absolutely agree. This assault on the middle class has been going on 0.95

00:34:09.800 for decades. And once we go back and actually look at it and piece it together, everything, every,

00:34:15.380 every single one of these initiatives was designed to destroy the middle class, whether this was the,

00:34:20.780 whether this was, uh, getting China into the WTO, whether it was the global war on terror, terror,

00:34:28.620 all of these different initiatives have been designed to assault the middle class. And yet,

00:34:34.900 and yet Americans stand tall. And who is it? What is the repository, the treasury that holds the love

00:34:44.900 of this country? Those are the same people. Those are the same people that they're attacking,

00:34:50.860 that they seek to destroy. But these are the people who continue to revere this country's traditions,

00:34:57.120 its heroes, its anthems, its holidays, our songs. And that is why America is powerful. And the people

00:35:06.440 around the world who revere America don't look at it and they don't want to move here because of who's

00:35:13.260 governing America. They want to be part of the great American people. That's what's understood the

00:35:20.460 world over. So even when someone like Joe Biden runs us into the ground, the world looks and sees our

00:35:28.960 strength, the core of which is the very middle class that's been under attack for those decades.

00:35:35.280 God bless them. I wish them all a wonderful Independence Day, a great summer, and forward

00:35:44.860 on to victory.
