00:01:56.960 you want with no repercussions. So the big news today, Obama's former spy chief, John Brennan,

00:02:04.660 reportedly prepared for an anti-Trump trial by the Biden era special counsel's team known as the

00:02:11.960 junkyard jackal Jack Smith. Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley described Smith's claims

00:02:17.320 about never meeting John Brennan as highly evasive and misleading at a minimum. But what I say is

00:02:24.020 lying under oath. So former special counsel Jack Smith told lawmakers that he never met with former

00:02:30.160 CIA director John Brennan. Of course, when he was pressed about whether Brennan provided

00:02:34.160 consultation or counsel during his tenure, but records just declassified by the White House

00:02:39.240 reveal members of Smith's team did indeed meet with Brennan

00:02:42.660 while preparing for a classified documents case

00:02:45.420 against President Trump.

00:02:46.520 That's right, so before the raid on Mar-a-Lago.

00:02:50.280 Now, the revelation about Brennan's meeting

00:03:34.380 Now, indications showed that prosecutors were exploring the possibility of using the former CIA chief's national security expertise as they prepare for the case against President Trump.

00:03:49.000 Meanwhile, Smith appeared before the Senate Judiciary Committee last week, part of the Republicans' oversight panel, into this corruption.

00:03:56.140 And during the hearing, Republican lawmakers pressed Smith over allegations of political bias, his investigative overreach, his misconduct, his corruption in Arctic Frost, the 2020 election probe, his classified documents case.

00:04:08.840 And the newest one we find out about Plasma Echo, which is when he was spying on Barron Trump, Melania Trump, Susie Wiles, taking phone metadata.

00:06:36.260 they went out of the way. They don't normally do this, but they went out of the way to say, hey,

00:06:39.900 our notes are attached to the report. They clearly were trying to signal to someone in future history

00:06:44.620 that something unusual went on at this event. We need to know more about that. But John Brennan

00:06:50.140 is at the end with Jack Smith. He's at the beginning with Russia collusion, and he keeps

00:06:54.780 showing up all between. And what makes that interaction with John Brennan so important

00:06:58.940 in November 2023, it's just a few months after he's testified before the House Judiciary Committee,

00:07:05.160 and he testified that he didn't try to put the Christopher Steele dossier into the Intelligence

00:07:09.560 Committee assessment, testimony we now know to be false. That's now the focus of a criminal

00:07:15.260 referral from both Jim Jordan, the chairman of the committee, and also the current CIA director,

00:07:21.240 John Ratcliffe, referred Brennan for prosecution. It's just a few months after that, that for some

00:07:26.440 reason, Jack Smith wants to talk to John Brennan in a pens down moment for the FBI. Something fishy

00:07:33.300 going on there. I've done interviews with the FBI. They've had to take notes. They sat there and took

00:07:38.260 notes the whole time. We just put up the notice completely blank. Yeah. What is the what is the

00:07:42.120 possible explanation for this? Well, I'll have to wait and see. I mean, the timing, if you put in

00:07:46.980 the timeline, it's at a critical moment where John Brennan's testimony is in great question.

00:07:52.360 I suspect that when we're all done, and I'm trying to get more documents released, and of course,

00:07:56.600 we've done some reporting on this, others have too, that Jack Smith might still have been looking

00:08:01.020 at issues related to Russia collusion, that what began as Russia, Russia was still Russia, Russia

00:08:05.700 in 2324. Let's see if the documents bear that out, if there was some inquiry about Russia intelligence

00:08:19.100 John Brennan and Jack Smith would be of significant new revelation, revelatory evidence for Congress,
