The Great America Show - BIDEN HAS GIVEN MEXICAN DRUG CARTELS OPERATIONAL CONTROL OF LARGE SECTIONS OF OUR SOUTHERN BORDER SAYS MARK MORGAN

00:00:00.140 Hello, everybody. I'm Lou Dobbs, and this is The Great America Show.

00:00:04.540 It's great to have you with us. Thanks for being here.

00:00:07.040 Hope you're getting revved up for the midterm elections.

00:00:09.820 I guarantee you I am.

00:00:11.480 I'm revved up for this historic existential election day that's only three weeks away now, 21 days.

00:00:18.260 And there's never been a more important midterm election in our lifetime.

00:00:22.320 So hang on. This will be a doozy.

00:00:25.020 Just ask Senator Mike Lee, Republican, two-term senator from Utah.

00:00:30.680 He's now fighting for his political life in a state that hasn't elected a Democrat to the Senate in almost a half century since 1976.

00:00:41.080 But there Mike Lee is on Tucker Carlson asking, okay, begging Mitt Romney to support his bid for re-election for a third term.

00:00:51.300 So what's happening here?

00:00:52.680 Well, Romney, who always plays it cute, hasn't endorsed Mike Lee, obviously.

00:00:58.340 And he hasn't yet endorsed a former CIA guy by the name of Evan McMullin, the independent candidate who is scaring the Dickens out of Mike Lee.

00:01:08.660 So why is Lee so scared?

00:01:10.980 The Democrats in Utah, yes, Utah does have some Democrats there.

00:01:15.720 Not a huge number, but some.

00:01:17.560 And some independents to go along with those Democrats.

00:01:21.140 And Lee is afraid, very much afraid, and maybe properly so, that those Democrats will cross over and vote for the CIA, I mean for McMullin, along with independents and some disaffected Republicans.

00:01:35.800 And maybe, just maybe, crazy Mitt Romney endorses squirrely McMullin and beats Mike Lee.

00:01:43.520 That's why Lee is scared.

00:01:46.080 That, and he knows full well, Romney launched cutting even nasty missives at people he didn't like on Twitter.

00:01:53.520 Romney's Twitter handle was the alias Pierre Delecto, where he could boost himself and attack President Trump with abandon, and, of course, praise himself.

00:02:05.160 No false modesty on Romney's part.

00:02:07.540 In fact, no modesty at all.

00:02:09.480 So we can all see why Senator Lee just might be a little nervous about Senator Pierre Delecto,

00:02:16.140 who has a well-chronicled penchant for betraying the Republican Party.

00:02:21.380 These rhinos are quite a bunch.

00:02:23.800 More like a vicious pack.

00:02:26.120 And running in that pack, of course, is Romney's old running mate, Paul Ryan.

00:02:31.680 Who knows, maybe they would have won in 2012 if they could have ever broken themselves away from their loving gazes at their respective mirrors.

00:02:41.360 Neither one was much of a candidate, and together they lost the 2012 presidential election, an election most said they should have won easily.

00:02:49.860 Despite a growth recession, Obama's falling poll numbers, Obama managed to win 332 electoral votes, 51% of the popular vote,

00:03:00.520 becoming the first president ever to win a second term with fewer electoral votes and a lower percentage of the popular vote than in his first election to the presidency.

00:03:13.500 And Paul Ryan is keeping up their loser mentality, their heritage, their mutual hate of the man who did win the presidency in 2016,

00:03:23.280 Ryan made that brave prediction in an interview Friday with a consulting firm, Teneo, that just happens to be Ryan's employer.

00:03:40.920 Ryan, you see, is vice chairman of Teneo.

00:03:44.740 So you know the questions were really tough and hard-hitting, much like the questions that the corporate media tosses toward President Biden,

00:03:53.000 usually softballs from knuckleheads, the corporate media seems to have given up even trying to get an answer on the border crisis,

00:04:00.920 a wide-open border that is Biden's gift to the Mexican drug cartels.

00:04:06.760 The cartels control that border, and the cartels are smuggling in millions of illegals along with deadly drugs, especially fentanyl,

00:04:15.280 making tens of billions of dollars, and it's only getting worse. 0.89

00:04:19.020 The top officials of the Department of Homeland Security are politically corrupt.

00:04:25.040 And DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas means to bring in as many illegals permit as much sex trafficking and drug smuggling as the cartels demand. 0.78

00:04:36.400 Our guest today is a great American.

00:04:38.800 He's a former commissioner of Customs and Border Protection, now a visiting fellow at the Heritage Foundation.

00:04:44.640 And, Mark, it is always great to have you with us here on The Great America Show.

00:04:50.360 Mayorkas, as it turns out, knew those Border Patrol agents never whipped those illegal immigrants from Haiti,

00:04:57.260 and yet he still accused them publicly along with the rest of the administration and even the president himself driving that narrative.

00:05:05.780 Your reaction?

00:05:06.520 Yeah, Lou, I'll tell you what.

00:05:09.020 This is just another example of why many, why I refer to Alejandro Mayorkas as the most dangerous man in this administration.

00:05:16.800 Think about this.

00:05:17.480 Heritage Foundation did a great job here.

00:05:19.280 Through FOIA requests, they got several emails, and one of them is the one you're referring to.

00:05:24.480 In September, September 24th, about two and a half hours before Secretary Mayorkas actually gave his speech on the border there,

00:05:34.460 he was told by his communication team that, per the photographer that actually took the pictures, Lou,

00:05:40.320 that what was being said was a lie.

00:05:42.840 It wasn't true.

00:05:43.980 The photographer said that no agent whipped anybody, and Secretary Mayorkas was told that.

00:05:49.460 Yet he still got out there, and he still supported the narrative, the lie that was being told by President Biden.

00:05:55.920 Remember that quote that, oh, they were strapping these migrants, and someone's going to pay? 1.00

00:06:01.560 This secretary still got out there and said these are horrific images, and it harkens back to systemic racism.

00:06:07.780 And he knew the entire time he was talking, Lou, that it was a lie.

00:06:11.700 And that is the level of integrity or lack of integrity that we have come to expect throughout the entire Biden administration.

00:06:21.400 Mayorkas is a principal prominent amongst a gathering of liars and lowlifes that make up this administration, 1.00

00:06:31.060 Marxist lowlifes, I should say, just to bring their ideology into context.

00:06:35.020 But one of the things I think people don't recall is what the President of the United States had said about that incident months before,

00:06:46.100 saying it was horrible what you saw.

00:06:49.760 This is the President of the United States.

00:06:52.240 It was horrible what you saw.

00:06:53.640 To see people treated like they did, horses nearly running them over and people being strapped.

00:06:59.040 It's outrageous.

00:07:00.480 I promise you those people will pay.

00:07:02.800 I haven't heard him say a damn thing even close to that about the cartels who are shipping these people into this country by the millions. 0.97

00:07:11.740 This man, I give him some slack for being impaired and just a puppet. 1.00

00:07:16.860 But his ignorance is now at a level that I would consider highly dangerous to American society, the nation itself. 0.95

00:07:25.480 Yeah, Lou, I completely agree.

00:07:26.660 Look, at some point, whether he's impaired or not, he is the leader of this country.

00:07:30.660 And it's his responsibility to make sure that he has people underneath him that are coming forth and being honest with him.

00:07:36.920 That's his responsibility.

00:07:38.720 And if the people below him are not being honest and they're not being transparent with him,

00:07:43.140 they're sure as heck not being honest and transparent with American people.

00:07:46.060 And I couldn't agree more with you on the cartels.

00:07:48.680 What we have right now happening on our border, and this is another false narrative that they want to push out to the American people,

00:07:53.440 that somehow you can be for border security yet support illegal immigration.

00:07:57.620 That's a fiction.

00:07:58.180 It's a lie.

00:07:59.080 It's absolutely a false narrative.

00:08:00.800 One drives the other.

00:08:01.860 They're not disconnected.

00:08:03.160 As illegal immigration goes up, resources are pulled off the line.

00:08:06.680 Our ability to effectively secure our border from bad things and bad people from coming in are diminished.

00:08:11.960 Right now, as you said, the cartels literally have operational control of large areas of our southwest border.

00:08:18.120 And they've been handed that operative control because of this administration's illegal immigration policies.

00:08:24.340 That's the truth.

00:08:25.200 That's the fact.

00:08:25.900 That's reality.

00:08:26.900 But they simply continue to lie to the American people about it.

00:08:30.360 I mean, every single day.

00:08:31.660 I mean, Lou, you and I have talked about it.

00:08:33.520 Drugs are pouring into the border.

00:08:35.080 Criminal aliens are pouring into the border.

00:08:37.120 National security threats are pouring into the border every day, all day long, because of this administration's policies.

00:08:43.020 These policies are, to what end, one can't even begin to imagine.

00:08:49.660 A wide open border, sex trafficking, human smuggling, illegal aliens crossing the border by, we know, the millions, not the tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands.

00:09:01.600 Deadly drugs, principally fentanyl, killing hundreds of thousands of Americans over the last several years.

00:09:10.340 And there is no response from this administration.

00:09:14.160 And people wonder why the Democrat Party is considered a vile and evil entity.

00:09:22.800 It is filled its leadership with Marxist Dems.

00:09:26.000 They control the House, the Senate, the White House, the deep state.

00:09:31.300 And right now, America is lying vulnerable to international forces that mean us harm, who are outright enemies, whether we're talking about Iran, Venezuela, China, Russia.

00:09:47.100 Your thoughts?

00:09:48.280 Yeah.

00:09:48.580 Look, Lou, I'm with you.

00:09:49.640 That with respect to being vile, and here's why I'm in agreement with you, is because I know this administration knows that what their open border policies were going to cause.

00:10:01.200 I know that because I was there as the commissioner.

00:10:03.520 And as the transition to the Biden administration was happening, we provided them over 200 briefings.

00:10:09.660 The majority of those within DHS was about border security.

00:10:13.260 We warned them, and we told them, if they did what they say they were going to do during the campaign, that they were going to cause a catastrophic crisis at our border, and they were going to jeopardize every aspect of our nation's public health, safety, and national security.

00:10:26.780 We told them, Lou, and they know it, and they did it anyway.

00:10:29.860 And at the end of the day, there's no other reason why they did it except they see a perceived political benefit.

00:10:35.380 Look, illegal aliens are counted a part of the census we know, and they believe that every single illegal alien they find a pathway to citizenship, they believe it's going to equate to a Democratic vote.

00:10:45.600 So this is about perpetual power for the Democratic Party. 0.98

00:10:49.020 That's why they're disgusting to me. 0.85

00:10:51.100 That's why they're vile and evil to me, because this is about votes, and they're jeopardizing our country for votes. 0.93

00:10:58.440 Literally, as you said, Americans are dying every single day.

00:11:02.200 When it comes to drugs, it's equivalent of a 747 crashing and everybody dying on board every 24 hours.

00:11:09.280 Yet this administration basically denies what's happening at our southwest border.

00:11:15.200 They deny it, but at the same time, they are the authors of all of that tragedy and pain that is being inflicted on Americans by the drug cartels working with the Chinese Communist Party. 0.97

00:11:32.200 They're creating, manufacturing, and distributing fentanyl into this country. 0.52

00:11:36.700 They mean to kill as many Americans as they can and to make helpless addicts of the rest. 0.97

00:11:43.740 And it goes on and on without comment from either Democrat officeholders.

00:11:51.020 For crying out loud, the Republican Party isn't, let's be fair, doing very much either, aren't they?

00:11:56.920 Sorry. Look, Lou, I agree. You and I, we've gone back and forth on this, but I'm with you on this.

00:12:01.800 Look, let's keep in mind, under the Trump administration, the Republicans have the White House, the House, and the Senate, and they failed to act.

00:12:07.580 They failed to pass a single piece of meaningful legislation that would have stopped about 85 percent of the crisis.

00:12:12.860 And now let's take a look. There are still Republicans that are on the sideline.

00:12:16.420 Look, I gave a presentation along with Tom Holm and some other patriots a couple of months ago to a large group of Republicans on the House side.

00:12:24.060 And afterwards, we had a few people come up and actually say, wow, I had no idea that it was this bad.

00:12:29.720 I'm like, are you kidding me? Where have you been?

00:12:32.260 And right now, look, Secretary Mayorka should be at the top of the list on their chopping block, right, to impeach on day one when it comes, January, when the House takes, when the Republicans take back the House. 0.94

00:12:43.860 I still talk to Republicans today, Lou, that they're still wishy-washy.

00:12:47.980 Even though this man is the chief architect of the worst border crisis in our history, they're literally killing Americans and migrants themselves, by the way, killing them every single day.

00:12:58.540 And this man has lied to Congress under oath again and again.

00:13:02.200 He has lied to the American people.

00:13:03.840 He has thrown Border Patrol agents under the bus and vilified them.

00:13:06.560 The list goes on and on.

00:13:07.640 And we still have Republicans that are doing hand-wringing, whether he should be impeached or not.

00:13:12.180 So the Republicans here, they have some answering to do as well.

00:13:15.100 And we have to give corporate America a great deal of credit as well for their role in that border crisis because they're demanding of Biden, cheap labor, illegal immigrants will do just fine. 1.00

00:13:29.600 Thank you very much.

00:13:30.980 And they're shipping them in here.

00:13:32.460 They're part of the – they are endorsing and supporting the relocation of what are now millions of illegal immigrants.

00:13:42.180 Have you got a response to corporate America?

00:13:47.100 Have you got any thought at all as to how in the world we can create a countervailing force to such awesome economic corporate power in our society that right now is setting public policy?

00:14:01.600 Yeah, Lou, first of all, I couldn't agree more.

00:14:03.180 Look, the Chamber of Commerce is still just as powerful as it's ever been.

00:14:06.540 I still hear from Republicans, right?

00:14:08.300 Like, I'll give you an example.

00:14:09.620 When we talk about we should enforce a national e-verify, right, to force corporations and companies to ensure that they're not hiring illegal aliens, I get pushed back still to this day from Republicans, right, that the Chamber of Commerce is footing their re-election and their campaign. 0.86

00:14:26.440 It's disgusting, Lou.

00:14:27.500 Look, we do not need illegal aliens to help this country. 1.00

00:14:34.060 I understand that we need immigrants to come in here legally, and there are justifiable reasons why we can give work visas to assist with certain businesses.

00:14:45.520 But we can do that legally.

00:14:47.140 We do not need illegal immigration to do that.

00:14:49.960 That's just simply a lie and a false narrative that continues to be pushed both by the Democrats and Republicans, unfortunately.

00:14:56.740 And, look, I'll go back to the last thing here.

00:14:59.020 Here's what this is about.

00:15:00.160 This is about border security.

00:15:01.740 Again, illegal immigration is not a victimless crime.

00:15:04.840 But this administration wants to house everything under one word, immigration, whether it's illegal or not, right?

00:15:10.820 Because then if you're against illegal immigration, that means you're against immigration, and that means you're a racist.

00:15:15.400 No, this is about border security.

00:15:17.400 But I promise your listeners, illegal immigration drives our borders to be unsecure.

00:15:23.340 They are connected.

00:15:24.320 They're not mutually exclusive.

00:15:27.040 You can't be for border security and support illegal immigration.

00:15:30.500 As illegal immigration goes up, our ability to secure our border goes down, bad things and bad people are coming through, jeopardizing every aspect of this country. 0.98

00:15:37.680 And with every transaction, whether it is the smuggling of illegal aliens, whether it is human smuggling or sex trafficking or drug smuggling, the fact is the cartels, the cash register rings again by the tens of billions of dollars a year.

00:15:58.180 Lou, you're absolutely right.

00:16:00.940 This is another area that this administration is intentionally keeping from the American people that they're not talking about.

00:16:08.220 This is another aspect of illegal immigration and open borders.

00:16:11.420 At the end of the day, the only entity that is profiting from this are the cartels.

00:16:16.060 Right now, we're estimating from 2018 to present, the profit that the cartels have experienced just from illegal smuggling, right, went from about $500 million to $13 billion annually under this administration.

00:16:31.900 Think about that.

00:16:32.640 That's astronomical.

00:16:33.460 And that is just from the profit from illegal immigration.

00:16:37.760 But think about it.

00:16:38.720 Again, illegal immigration goes up.

00:16:40.720 Our borders are less secure.

00:16:42.360 The cartels can also take advantage of that from their drug schemes as well.

00:16:46.860 I mean, look, this is a multi-billion dollar business.

00:16:51.160 And this is why I keep saying the cartels right now, the Mexican cartels, are one of the most powerful, most influential criminal organizations on the face of the planet.

00:16:59.500 But yet you will not hear this administration mention that.

00:17:03.460 And the drug cartels, another thing you will not hear mentioned in our national corporate media is, and there's so much that you won't hear, but amongst those things,

00:17:14.980 is the relationship between the Mexican government, the Mexican National Guard, and the military, the Army, as well as then the cartels themselves.

00:17:28.320 And what they have done is turn over the National Guard that was supposed to be, and this was Manuel Lopez Obrador's brilliant idea,

00:17:40.640 is to have a greater integrity invested in the National Guard that wouldn't be under the influence of the Army.

00:17:47.020 He has ordered, he has now done it, put the National Guard under the control of the Army, and the Army is under the control of, guess who?

00:17:56.880 The drug cartels themselves.

00:17:58.840 We now see an awesome, awesome concentration of power, not in the Mexican central government, but in the drug cartels themselves,

00:18:08.940 who are creating foreign policy by doing business with the Chinese, the Communist Chinese Party, bringing in Chinese scientists,

00:18:18.960 manufacturing fentanyl, and sending it all in here, waging a war with poison in the gullets of our young Americans.

00:18:27.220 Yeah, Lou, look, everything you just said, I completely agree.

00:18:30.900 Let's look just fentanyl alone.

00:18:33.200 So at first, China was sending fentanyl directly in the United States through express consignment mail and international mail.

00:18:40.260 We all but ended that.

00:18:41.580 Now, there's still some of that going on, but we drastically reduced that.

00:18:44.540 So what did the Mexican cartels do?

00:18:46.240 They just started working with the Chinese criminal organizations and shipping precursors directly to the chemicals directly to Mexico 0.88

00:18:53.520 and their manufacturing, just as you said.

00:18:55.440 And this is, look, this is another thing that this administration is not being honest with American people about.

00:19:00.060 Everything you just said, the Mexican cartels, they're not just in Mexico.

00:19:03.400 They're here in the United States, and they're all throughout the entire Western Hemisphere.

00:19:07.340 Again, they're one of the most powerful criminal organizations in the world.

00:19:10.720 In my opinion, they do operate as a de facto shadow government.

00:19:14.820 That's exactly why we also should change how we go after the cartels.

00:19:19.220 We should use the same whole-of-government approach, resolve, commitment, tenacity that we go after terrorist organizations.

00:19:25.960 We should do so going after the cartels.

00:19:29.240 Look, the same thing we've used for decades, the criminal enterprise theory of investigation that I learned as an FBI agent, it doesn't work.

00:19:36.040 You can't go after the cartels like you go after, you know, the mafia that we did in the 70s and 80s here in the United States.

00:19:42.460 It doesn't work.

00:19:43.080 We need to focus and go after them just like we do the cartels for the reasons you just said.

00:19:47.600 And do you remember how just weak in the knees and just sick and shivering this country's left reacted to the news that President Trump had actually considered firing rockets, missiles, whatever, into the heart of the cartels and wiping them out?

00:20:08.680 They were horrified.

00:20:10.460 They were horrified.

00:20:11.380 But these are the same Americans who don't seem to give a damn about the lives of hundreds of thousands of Americans who've been killed by fentanyl through those open borders of the last two years.

00:20:25.120 Yeah, Lou, look, that's exactly right.

00:20:26.720 Look, and some of those discussions, they're completely distorted.

00:20:29.280 I know that because I was there for a couple of those discussions.

00:20:32.080 I know what the intent was.

00:20:33.420 The intent was, just as I explained from the president, right, is, okay, look, what we've been doing for the past four or five decades is not.

00:20:41.200 What has failed?

00:20:42.460 What can we do as a country differently to go after the heart of the cartels and to wipe them off the face of the planet?

00:20:49.940 That was the juxt of those discussions.

00:20:52.680 And it was justified and it was correct. 0.76

00:20:55.120 You know, let me give you another thing.

00:20:56.040 We talk about drugs all the time.

00:20:57.640 But let's talk about the criminals.

00:20:59.060 Let's not forget, Lou, in the first 19, 20 months of this administration, over one million illegal aliens have broken our southern border and they've evaded apprehension.

00:21:07.700 One million.

00:21:08.680 And let me tell you about the types of people that are getting by.

00:21:12.540 In Texas alone, from 2011 to 2022, 261,000 criminal aliens committed 433,000 crimes, including 800 homicides, 800 kidnappings, and 5,000 sexual assaults.

00:21:26.060 And that was in the state of Texas alone.

00:21:28.140 Let's go back to the one million gotaways.

00:21:29.940 Can you imagine how many murderers, rapists, pedophiles, aggravated felons, and gang members are among the one million that now call the U.S. home in the last 19, 20 months because of this administration's open border policies?

00:21:42.040 That's where we're at. 0.96

00:21:44.000 It is sickening. 0.86

00:21:46.260 It is absolutely sickening. 0.81

00:21:47.820 And I want to tie something together here.

00:21:53.600 How easy would this be to control?

00:21:56.400 I'm going to, because I have great respect for you as a law enforcement officer throughout your career.

00:22:03.540 But we've got to be straightforward here.

00:22:05.320 The American government could shut down illegal immigration the day that it wants to by combining the records of the Social Security Administration with tax and IRS information, putting out a verify.

00:22:23.040 We could shut down the rigged elections by having voter identification and specific data that had to be verified.

00:22:35.700 We could do those two things, assure electoral integrity, the integrity of our borders, shut down a huge percentage of the illegal drug traffic and human smuggling, sex traffic into this country.

00:22:48.040 We've got to recognize that both parties have to be in league with the drug cartels and with China itself in order to keep pushing this forward.

00:23:01.580 Because the people who are paying are the citizens of the United States, law-abiding citizens.

00:23:06.800 And by the way, there are even some Democrats in that group.

00:23:09.640 Yeah, so that's exactly right, Lou.

00:23:11.260 And look, that's why, you know, come January, February next year is going to be so critically important, because now we're going to be a position is we can't blame the Democrats anymore, right?

00:23:19.840 If the Republicans take back the House and the Senate especially, now it's time for them to step up, right?

00:23:26.140 And I promise you, Lou, I'll come back on here and the Republicans don't do what they need to do.

00:23:30.460 If they don't show the political strength, courage and will to secure our borders and protect the American people, I'll be going after them just as hard as I'm going after the Democrats right now.

00:23:38.720 I promise you.

00:23:39.340 Look, it's very easy. I agree with you. We can address this issue. We can secure the border.

00:23:43.760 We were doing it under the Trump administration. We had the most secure border in our lifetime, and every single day it was getting more secure.

00:23:49.680 We know what the issue is. First of all, there has to be consequences applied to those that illegally enter, and we have to make sure that we're making sure that those laws are not being exploited.

00:23:59.800 Look, migrants want five things. They want to be released. They want to be free from deportation.

00:24:03.960 They want to work illegally, send money home, and they want to bring family members.

00:24:07.380 If you address all five of those things, you enforce the law, you de-incentivize those five things, illegal immigration will stop.

00:24:13.780 When that stops, our bill is to secure our border increases. We know how to do it, and we can do it again.

00:24:18.400 We just need the political strength, courage, and will from the Republicans in January.

00:24:22.020 And, of course, that requires rare leadership.

00:24:26.300 Yep.

00:24:26.660 Donald Trump did it from 2017 to 2020.

00:24:31.340 Yep.

00:24:31.740 Yes, he did.

00:24:32.360 January 2021.

00:24:34.100 And really, he was fought all the way by the establishment of both parties.

00:24:39.820 He was.

00:24:40.160 And as we look forward here, what I'm hearing from Republicans is they want to impeach Joe Biden, a number of them, which is a complete sideshow.

00:24:52.120 Because impeaching him is not going to do anything if they don't control the Senate as well, obviously.

00:24:57.460 It also will take up great energy that should be focused on creating changes in policy, changes in reality at that border, on the streets of America where crime is raging rampant and rising.

00:25:12.580 It is just incredible to me that they're not focusing on Mayorkas, focus on Attorney General Garland, if you will, but all of it to bring truth to the American people, to reveal what has happened to this Marxist-dim government of ours and the deep state.

00:25:32.220 Because these are evildoers, and they have torn this country apart with toxic corruption throughout our federal government.

00:25:43.040 Yeah, look, I agree with you on the Biden impeachment.

00:25:45.960 The reality is he's not calling the shots.

00:25:48.640 He's not setting the policy.

00:25:49.880 It's people below him that are just telling him and writing what he needs to say in the teleprompter.

00:25:54.800 So I agree with you.

00:25:55.360 I'm not sure what that will do because you're still going to have a guy like Secretary Mayorkas in place.

00:25:59.440 So I think we should, if you're talking about impeachment, we should focus on Secretary Mayorkas.

00:26:04.320 And I think for the very reason you said is because we will be able to get the truth and reality out there during that impeachment trial.

00:26:12.280 That right now this administration is lying and keeping it hidden from the American people.

00:26:17.060 And I think that, you know, what's really going to be important going forward is it's not just that.

00:26:21.980 They can't just focus on that impeachment angle, even on Secretary Mayorkas.

00:26:25.960 They've got to pass meaningful legislation. 0.94

00:26:28.060 That's why a bunch of conservative think tanks, we got together.

00:26:30.820 We provided a coalition letter that really provides a roadmap on what the Republicans need to do on day one to secure the border.

00:26:38.260 However, I'm happy to see that they released a border security framework that incorporates much of what we included in that roadmap.

00:26:45.900 But, you know, the proof is in the pudding.

00:26:47.620 We're going to we're going to wait and see if they actually stand up.

00:26:50.340 And H.R. one should be about border security and shutting that border down.

00:26:55.620 We could do it.

00:26:56.380 We know how to do it.

00:26:57.200 We've done it before.

00:26:58.200 It's just going to take their political strength and courage.

00:27:00.100 And what I'll say, Lou, including including being ready to shut down the government, we should not fund DHS or any of these other entities that their policy is enabling and driving our borders to be open, killing Americans every single day.

00:27:12.380 No, that's got to be on the table.

00:27:14.360 Shut down the government until they reverse course and secure our borders.

00:27:17.680 And by shut down, I mean, actually, the House has the appropriations power to go through and straighten out the FBI in pretty quick order if they've got the political guts and will.

00:27:30.880 And I'm not convinced they do.

00:27:32.320 And I'm not convinced they have the leadership to do so, either the Senate, if we happen to get lucky and win control of the Senate back, and the House of Representatives as well.

00:27:41.640 As always, we give our guests the last word here, Mark, and I'm always delighted to hear all of your words.

00:27:48.780 Your concluding thoughts, if you will.

00:27:51.280 Look, first and foremost, your listeners need to understand that this is about border security.

00:27:56.240 And this White House and Secretary Marcus and open border advocates have hijacked their compassion, right?

00:28:01.880 Because right now, when you think about the southwest border, they make people visualize a mother and with their minor children.

00:28:09.900 And they think about this poor, vulnerable migrant, that somehow illegal immigration is a victimless crime.

00:28:16.160 And it's not.

00:28:17.180 The compassion is misguided.

00:28:19.260 Please know and understand.

00:28:20.740 Every single illegal alien that comes across our southwest border, resources are pulled off the line. 1.00

00:28:26.240 And we're literally handing more operational control over to the cartels so that bad things and bad people can come in.

00:28:32.560 We've got to shut down illegal immigration, which will allow us to secure our border. 0.98

00:28:36.880 I'm all for legal immigration.

00:28:38.360 Let's have those discussions all day long about how we can improve our legal immigration system.

00:28:42.940 But we cannot be for and supportive of illegal immigration.

00:28:47.340 Americans and migrants are dying because of that. 1.00

00:28:50.880 And it spills over as well.

00:28:53.040 And our next our next visit, if we can, I'd like to take up the role of the FBI and the Department of Justice,

00:28:59.260 falsifying all sorts of data, including criminal histories of both illegal aliens and native-born criminals, if you will,

00:29:10.540 absolutely lying to the American people on that and so much more,

00:29:15.680 but all playing a part in this discussion about illegal immigration, border security,

00:29:22.160 and, of course, the integrity of a government that is now bereft of any vestige of integrity.

00:29:29.620 Great.

00:29:30.500 Mark Morgan, great American.

00:29:32.780 We thank you for being with us and all that you do for the country.

00:29:36.040 You too, Lou.

00:29:56.880 You will want to hear the latest from Peter.
