00:00:42.140 who's now a champion of free speech and fair play. He's already being lionized as a brilliant

00:00:48.180 entrepreneur and businessman, as he should. He's also almost single-handedly awakened the almost

00:00:54.880 more of a NASA space agency, and single-handedly built rockets to take our astronauts up to the

00:01:01.980 space station, rather than for the United States to depend on hiring rides on Russian rockets.

00:01:09.660 And in the wake of the horrible tragedy in that Texas school this week, Musk asked one question,

00:01:16.360 why do we give these killers the publicity they crave? The answer is, we shouldn't. And we must stop

00:01:23.620 the madness of at least our media. It really needs to stop now. I think that would be a very good

00:01:30.640 beginning in the new fight to make America great again. Well, crime rates are rising in nearly all

00:01:37.660 of our big cities. It's all part of the Biden New Deal. Defund the police, don't prosecute the

00:02:52.600 past month just came out, 234,000 encounters. You know, the month before was a record-breaking month,

00:03:01.860 the month before that was a record-breaking, the month before that. And now this month,

00:03:05.740 it's the highest recorded encounters that's ever been recorded in our country's history, Lou.

00:03:15.340 It's stunning. And you warned us about it at the beginning of the year, and here we are.

00:03:22.300 What do you think the judge will do on Title IV, the CDC, you know, regulation that permits a lot

00:03:30.060 of immediate returns, if you will? Yeah, so, and again, for your listeners, it's very important.

00:03:38.380 Title 42 is a public health order that allowed Border Patrol to remove illegal aliens that have

00:03:44.320 broken in our country to reduce the further introduction and spread of COVID-19 into our

00:03:49.340 country. Look, when we instituted this early on in the Trump administration, it has no doubt

00:03:54.100 saved countless American lives and untold suffering. And so right now, as you know, the judge

00:04:00.060 initially instated a TRO, a temporary restraining order that prohibited the Biden administration from

00:04:06.880 ending this very important policy. And they heard then the merits on the TRO. But what's very hopeful

00:04:14.840 for me is the judge hasn't made his decision. He's got to come down within the next couple of days.

00:04:20.160 But until he's made his final decision, the TRO remained in place. And that's why I'm hopeful,

00:04:25.920 Lou, because I think if he was leaning towards letting the Title 42 elapse, I think he would 0.99

00:04:31.420 have gotten rid of the TRO as well. But, you know, we have no crystal ball, but I'm hopeful that he

00:04:37.200 will order that Title 42 remains. You know, I'm not entirely sure about this judge. His name is Summer

00:04:42.960 Hayes. He has a terrific academic background and record. He is a smart and diligent judge. So I'm

00:04:53.920 hopeful, too, because he's a man of integrity, intellectual integrity. And so the rest of it

00:05:01.600 will just have to, as you put it, wait and see. The idea that we're talking about encounters here,

00:05:07.780 it's another, it sounds like another one of those mushy, deep state, permanent bureaucracy

00:05:14.960 expressions to cover up any number of things under the term encounters for crying out loud. I remember

00:05:22.960 when we talked about apprehensions, we actually talked about arrests at the border for crying out

00:05:28.260 loud. That's how long I've been covering the border and illegal immigration. Yeah, I think

00:05:35.080 why migrant encounters. Yeah, yeah, I think you're right. We used to talk in terms of arrest. And so

00:05:41.540 what's happened, I think, is there may be some deep stuff, state stuff going on by some, I can't

00:05:46.980 disagree with that. But it's also to really get an accurate representation of what's going on. Because

00:05:52.140 if someone illegally enters, meaning they enter our country in between the lawful points of entry,

00:05:58.820 and border patrol comes across them, that is called an apprehension. Unfortunately, that only tells

00:06:04.480 part of the story, because illegal aliens are also coming up to our lawful point of entry. And they're,

00:06:11.020 they're, they're undocumented, they have no verification of who they are, where they came

00:06:15.800 from, those are considered inadmissibles. So really, by the law, they should not be admitted

00:06:22.140 into the United States. But because of our broken immigration laws, and because of the open border

00:06:27.800 policies of this administration, otherwise, illegal aliens are otherwise inadmissible are also being

00:06:33.900 allowed in. When that happens, that's considered an encounter. So we when we see the total numbers

00:06:39.960 each month, it's the border patrol apprehensions, plus those encounters of otherwise inadmissibles

00:06:45.640 that we allowed into the United States.

00:06:48.440 Plus, so encounters include the inadmissibles, but the inadmissibles are admitted. So this is getting

00:06:56.980 about as Orwellian as you need it really to get right that that's exactly right. I mean, it's broke.

00:07:03.040 It's not just broke, you know, in between the ports of entry, but but the policies are also

00:07:09.580 allowing the cartels and smugglers and migrants themselves to exploit those policies and laws at

00:07:16.640 the ports of entry, as well as in between the ports of entry. So why don't we just do the honest and

00:07:22.180 honorable thing here? And just turn, you know, flip the keys at each port of entry, uh, to the cartels

00:07:29.340 because they're in charge now. Uh, they're the ones bringing in their drugs. They're the ones

00:07:34.060 traffic, sex trafficking, children, women, uh, human smuggling. Uh, this is outrageous what this

00:07:42.160 country is doing. And by the way, we've got a bunch of mouth breathers who are just sitting there

00:07:47.460 watching, not saying a word. They're just plotting along. And they're mostly people that are a

00:07:54.060 congressman or a Senator are working for the United States government, taking home a nice paycheck and

00:08:00.700 doing nothing good for the American people. Look, look, I think that's exactly right. If you look right

00:08:07.420 now, uh, where we're at, let's just say, so, so last year was the worst year on record, uh, for,

00:08:13.600 for open borders and, and, and total encounters. But, but this year is believe it or not worse than

00:08:19.120 last year. I mean, right now, uh, the first seven months of this fiscal year, we're already at 1.5

00:08:25.780 million encounters. If you keep going at this pace, we're easily going to be at 2.5 million encounters

00:08:32.560 for a single fiscal year. And then you add in the gotaways, those that break into our country and 0.54

00:08:38.300 evade apprehension and make their way to every town, city, and state, that's going to be around six

00:08:43.380 to 700,000 plus the 400 or so thousand turnbacks that just as the name suggests, they turn back to

00:08:49.540 avoid apprehension. You're looking at about 3.5 million illegal aliens have tried to illegally

00:08:56.680 enter our border and just a 12 month period. It's unconscionable. And Lou, and you know this,

00:09:02.320 but we talked about it before. And why is that important? Why, why should people say, Oh, well,

00:09:07.320 Hey, they're looking for a better life. The problem is, is that as illegal immigration increases,

00:09:12.500 especially to the unprecedented levels we're seeing now, it degrades our ability to protect

00:09:17.820 and secure our borders. And then just as you said, Lou, those borders are wide open as a border

00:09:22.700 troll agents are pulled off the line to be travel agencies for the illegal aliens. Drugs are pouring

00:09:27.940 in. Criminals are pouring in. Gang members are pouring in and there's an increase to our national

00:09:32.260 security vulnerability. That's why it matters. That's why it's important. It's about border security.

00:09:37.100 So let's take a look at these ports of entry. How many of them are there across the Southern

00:09:43.460 border? Some 2000 miles worth, you know, there's, there's a couple hundred, there's about 324

00:09:49.620 throughout the entire country. Um, and look what, like, for example, one of the things we did under

00:09:55.880 president Trump is we instituted what was called metering. Uh, and we really locked that down.

00:10:02.420 Uh, we only allowed individuals in that, that one, we had the capacity to take in and then again,

00:10:08.400 met a certain threshold. And then when we finally were able to implement, and you know, very well,

00:10:13.320 the remain in Mexico program, we applied that to those that illegally entered in between the ports

00:10:18.000 of entry, as well as those that were coming to our ports of entry that were otherwise, uh,

00:10:22.520 inadmissible. We applied it to them too, and remove them back to Mexico as they were going through 1.00

00:10:28.260 their asylum process and chapter by February of 2020. And you know, we saw a reduction of 75%

00:10:35.260 in illegal immigration and the remain of Mexico was a leading reason for that.

00:10:39.880 Right now we have a number of interests that are all lined up, but lined up with the Mexican drug

00:10:46.680 cartels, uh, transnational cartels, if, uh, one prefers. Yep. But nonetheless, the people are bringing

00:10:55.140 in death and devastation to this country every single day. And the people are lined up with that

00:11:02.540 open border, that wide open border are the Marxist Biden white house, the Marxist dem democratic party,

00:11:11.220 uh, the corporate, uh, the corporate is throughout the country. Uh, that is the business round table,

00:12:48.600 single day. Um, talking about what we were doing was unconscionable and unacceptable and et cetera.

00:12:54.800 And today what we see happening in our Southwest border pales in comparison to anything we experienced.

00:13:15.380 about 700 dead migrants that have been recovered under this administration's watch. We know that,

00:13:26.760 this administration. We know that young women and children that, that make their way here in this

00:13:31.480 country illegally are sexually abused and assaulted. We know those numbers are going up.

00:13:35.920 I can keep going on and on. Where's the mainstream media? Not a peep, Lou, not, not a peep. They're,

00:13:41.680 they're not only are they not talking about the drugs pouring into this country. Look, 107,000 last

00:13:47.800 year, year before a hundred thousand. If you think about that, a hundred thousand drug overdoses in a

00:13:52.980 12 month period is more than all Americans have died from every single terrorist attack on our soil.

00:13:59.420 The Iraq war, Afghanistan war and Vietnam wars combined in a 12 month period. We know that the

00:14:05.700 leading cause of death of adults from 18 to 45 is fentanyl. And the DEA's own reporting says that 95%

00:14:12.720 of fentanyl comes from the wide open Southwest border. Why in the heck is this a right or left thing?

00:15:58.680 enforcement agency. I have barely a peep actually from the ATF. What happened to all of these agencies

00:16:05.800 that should be vitally engaged at our border? Yeah, I, I think that's right, Lou. And I, I think

00:16:12.440 I would say the same thing about the FBI and, and, and ATF and, and DEA, you know, the DEA

00:16:17.980 administrator lately has come out and engaged a couple of things, Director Wray a couple of times,

00:16:22.840 but look, in year 2022, you, you, you can't do what we used to do 25 years ago in, in a law

00:16:29.220 enforcement community is we have to get out there. We have to engage. We have to engage directly with the

00:16:34.500 public. We have to reassure them what we're doing, why we're doing it and what the solutions are.
