00:01:15.040 Hello, everybody. I'm Lou Dobbs.

00:01:24.740 Welcome to The Great America Show.

00:01:26.360 Great to have you with us.

00:01:28.220 The big deal this week is who will be Speaker of the House.

00:01:32.560 President Trump scheduled to be on Capitol Hill to whip the conference on electing a Speaker.

00:01:37.840 Trump initially said he would be open to serving as Speaker in an interim basis while the Republicans vote on who they want to be the Speaker of the House.

00:01:47.620 It's unclear whether Trump is still set to make an appearance after he enthusiastically endorsed Jim Jordan to be Speaker at the end of last week.

00:01:56.720 The Republicans are doing, I think, pretty well.

00:02:00.200 They're doing great in some cases.

00:02:02.280 President Trump can now focus on the most important election in this country's history.

00:02:07.700 2024.

00:02:09.280 He either wins the presidency or the country loses.

00:02:13.060 The country, in my judgment, will soon be no more if he were to lose.

00:02:17.080 And with Jim Jordan as Speaker of the House, the Republicans can unite under two men who will lead the nation back from the brink of what could have been a Marxist-dim disaster and a final disaster.

00:02:30.780 Among the most important issues President Trump faces, the southern border.

00:02:35.360 Yes, once again, it's the border.

00:02:38.280 The border which Biden turned over to the Marxist-dim cartels.

00:02:42.180 And I doubt the cartels give it back without a fight.

00:02:46.000 And a nasty fight at that.

00:02:48.620 The southern border.

00:02:49.680 The cartels own it now.

00:02:51.640 Their businesses are thriving.

00:02:53.240 Sex trafficking. 0.99

00:02:54.260 Illegal immigrants by the millions. 0.99

00:02:56.600 Human smuggling.

00:02:57.620 Smuggling of deadly drugs of all kinds.

00:03:00.220 And under Joe Biden, one crisis always leads to the next.

00:03:04.420 The Swanton border sector in northern Vermont reported this week they've apprehended almost 7,000 illegals.

00:03:12.180 Just this year.

00:03:13.900 That's more in that sector than in the last 11 years combined.

00:03:18.680 So yes, we have a northern border problem.

00:03:22.360 No reason to think the Biden regime will do anything about the northern border either.

00:03:27.520 America under Biden is simply being invaded by illegals in numbers never imagined. 0.75

00:03:33.480 It didn't take long for the Marxist-dim secretary of homeland security, Alejandro Mayorkas, to change the narrative of what's happening at the border.

00:03:43.480 He, in fact, does President Trump really a favor by letting the American people know that Trump is the reason for any additional wall being built.

00:03:53.380 I want to address today's reporting relating to a border wall and be absolutely clear.

00:04:02.360 There is no new administration policy with respect to the border wall.

00:04:08.940 Allow me to repeat that.

00:04:10.680 There is no new administration policy with respect to the border wall.

00:04:14.920 From day one, this administration has made clear that a border wall is not the answer.

00:04:21.760 That remains our position, and our position has never wavered.

00:04:26.740 The language in the Federal Register notice is being taken out of context, and it does not signify any change in policy whatsoever.

00:04:34.920 Former Border Patrol Chief Rodney Scott says the Biden administration has been paying $5 million a day to not build that border wall.

00:04:46.080 We're paying contractors for a while.

00:04:48.740 It was almost $5 million a day between DOD and DHS.

00:04:51.700 Just to not.

00:04:52.640 To not build the border wall.

00:04:54.520 Wait, wait, wait.

00:04:55.320 $5 million a day to not build the wall.

00:04:58.280 To not build the wall.

00:04:58.900 Even though they have all the stuff, they have.

00:05:00.740 There are stacks and stacks of border wall panels.

00:05:04.740 There's hundreds of miles of fiber optic cabling.

00:05:08.180 There's hundreds of cameras that were being installed with that that are just sitting.

00:05:13.820 There's no action being taken. 0.53

00:05:15.620 The Biden regime is obviously a disgrace.

00:05:18.240 They've brought millions of illegals into the country with no repercussion or consequence. 1.00

00:05:23.380 Our guest today is Mark Morgan.

00:05:25.320 Mark, a great American, the former head of Customs and Border Protection.

00:05:29.460 Mark Morgan, welcome and great to have you back with us here.

00:05:32.200 It's also unfortunate we're talking about much the same issues that we've talked about for the last several years.

00:05:39.420 A border that is not secure.

00:05:41.500 Illegal immigration that's running rampant at flood levels.

00:05:45.200 And the cartels are in charge.

00:05:48.080 First of all, it's great to be back with you.

00:05:49.920 It's been too long.

00:05:50.600 And I agree with you.

00:05:51.420 I mean, the only thing that we've seen happen at our border is it's exponentially getting worse as each passing day.

00:05:57.480 Right now, this fiscal year, we're on track to have over 3.1 million total nationwide encounters.

00:06:04.740 Since the Biden administration took over the first 32 months, we've had 7.5 million total nationwide encounters.

00:06:12.020 You throw in 1.6 million known guideways.

00:06:16.340 The statistics tell the story.

00:06:18.660 This is the worst lawlessness, chaotic, whatever adjective you want to use to describe the open borders that we've ever had in our nation's history.

00:06:27.860 And now we have Congress.

00:06:29.780 Look, I had some hope.

00:06:31.120 Lou, I did.

00:06:31.660 You and I are talking off a lot.

00:06:32.620 I had a hope that at least the House Republicans were going to use the power of the purse to appropriations to at least stop the bleeding.

00:06:40.220 And they had an opportunity.

00:06:41.640 They had an opportunity to attach H.R. 2, the strongest border security bill that's ever been passed by any chamber of Congress.

00:06:50.220 And they had a chance to attach that.

00:06:52.680 And they blew it.

00:06:53.800 And then it forced McCarthy to work with Democrats to pass a CR that, yeah, it's great.

00:06:58.460 So the government's open.

00:07:00.640 But guess what?

00:07:01.260 The next 45 days, so is our border.

00:07:04.400 You know, you said the government is open.

00:07:06.820 What do you mean by the government is open?

00:07:08.940 Because I find it closed.

00:07:10.680 And I mean shut tight.

00:07:13.180 Yeah, what I mean by they funded the government to remain open.

00:07:17.220 The government didn't shut down.

00:07:19.160 And so, and look, I get it.

00:07:21.620 But to me, it's all about politics and about personal agenda.

00:07:26.420 I've been through several government shutdowns when I was a government employee, Lou.

00:07:29.940 And look, I'm not trying to make light of it.

00:07:31.900 I got it.

00:07:33.040 Some people will go without a paycheck.

00:07:34.840 I understand that that's difficult.

00:07:36.780 But you know what's really difficult?

00:07:38.360 When a mother and father has to bury their 15-year-old daughter that she thought she was taking a Percocet that was laced with fentanyl that came from the wide-open southwest border.

00:07:47.080 And they had to bury her, their 15-year-old daughter.

00:07:50.520 I mean, that's the trade-off here.

00:07:51.940 So they caved to avoid bad political optics to keep the government funded.

00:07:58.200 Meanwhile, they've literally allowed the cartels to remain, have operational control over a border to push criminals, drugs, and national security threats through our country.

00:08:06.440 You know, I feel like the fellow that, you know, you're at a party or whatever, and everybody makes a joke.

00:08:15.320 And they laugh.

00:08:17.200 And I don't get the joke.

00:08:19.180 I don't get the joke at all.

00:08:21.320 Because, you know, when we're talking about fentanyl, we're talking about over 100,000 Americans a year dying.

00:08:28.720 And I don't get that joke.

00:08:30.380 I can't figure that joke out and why everybody else, they're good with it.

00:08:35.920 Joe Biden's good with it.

00:08:37.620 Kevin McCarthy's good with it.

00:08:39.560 The Democrats are good with it.

00:08:41.080 The Republicans are good with it.

00:08:42.700 And the Border Patrol, we might as well disband.

00:08:45.620 And, you know, perhaps, you know, I don't know what we could find for them to do, but it sure as hell isn't to patrol the border.

00:08:53.040 We might as well disband DHS because it's just a joke.

00:08:56.540 It doesn't know anything about cybersecurity, can't do anything about cybersecurity.

00:09:01.420 And when it does do an analysis and forms a report, it's a bunch of lies.

00:09:05.820 So I don't understand why we have a DHS, because we've got local law enforcement.

00:09:10.300 We've got sheriffs, police.

00:09:11.760 We've got state troopers.

00:09:13.020 We've got people who really know about law enforcement.

00:09:15.060 So I don't understand what DHS does with all those people.

00:09:18.060 I really don't.

00:09:19.120 Now, you were Commissioner of Customs and Border Patrol, so I'm not sure you're going to like what I'm saying here.

00:09:24.340 But I have to say to you, this is a wide-open joke of an administration. 0.99

00:09:31.300 It is pathetic. 0.97

00:09:32.860 And I don't understand why we've got, what, 50,000 people in the Border Patrol, why we're even messing with Customs, 0.99

00:09:38.940 because the Chinese are bringing whatever they want to, including fentanyl, across that border, 2,000 miles wide open. 0.66

00:09:46.460 Come on into the United States, and nobody seems to give a single damn. 0.87

00:09:50.820 Yeah, no, Lou, actually, I'm agreeing with you.

00:09:52.920 Look, I'm a proponent that DHS is a failed experiment.

00:09:56.600 I understand why it was created, and the intentions back then were good, I believe.

00:10:00.860 But it has failed since the couple of decades that it's been there.

00:10:05.320 And I'm actually a proponent that it needs to be disbanded, as you just stated.

00:10:10.560 Look, I'm for then taking and creating a strong border security agency that actually, though, the key is they're actually allowed to do their job.

00:10:20.800 They're actually allowed to enforce the law.

00:10:22.920 They're actually allowed to protect and defend our nation's border and go after the cartels to stop drugs, criminals, and national security threats from pouring in.

00:10:31.240 And right now, the Border Patrol, you're right, they're not able to do that.

00:10:34.320 That's why their morale is the lowest it's ever been since Border Patrol was created in 1924, because they're not allowed to do their law enforcement mission or their national security mission.

00:10:44.540 They are right now, they've become nothing more than a processing agency, nothing more than a federal-sanctioned travel agency for the millions, millions of illegal aliens that have crossed over our borders and filed fraudulent asylum claims.

00:10:59.620 That's what they are right now.

00:11:00.980 And that's why I say the result of that is we've literally handed operational control of our borders to the cartels.

00:11:07.700 They're laughing all the way to the bank as they exploit migrants and they push threats across our borders, killing Americans every single day, like you just described. 1.00

00:11:16.460 And sex trafficking and you name it, it's just, it's an outrage.

00:11:20.320 And by the way, too many people along that border on the northern side are pretty comfortable with the situation, aren't they?

00:11:25.840 They're getting pretty flush, as a matter of fact, while this is happening, because let's be really honest, those border states, there's enough corruption at the southern end of those states to really bedazzle the world.

00:11:40.580 I mean, we have to have some law enforcement agency in this country who actually wants to enforce the law and protect this country, but it isn't the FBI, it isn't the DEA, it's alcohol, tobacco, and firearms spend all their time.

00:11:55.840 They're trying to crush gun rights and gun shop owners. 0.98

00:11:59.640 I mean, what in the world are we going to do?

00:12:02.060 Yeah, and I think, look, from the highest level, what you're saying, I think, is what most Americans feel right now.

00:12:08.820 That's why the public's trust has eroded, you know, in the Department of Justice, the FBI, and those other agencies you just talked about.

00:12:14.740 Now, I still believe, and you know, Lou, I spent, you know, my entire adult life as a career federal agent.

00:12:20.480 And so I still believe that the majority rank and file are their heart and minds are in the right place, and they want to do the right thing for the right reasons why they swore to uphold and defend the Constitution, why they put that badge and gun on a hostel every single day.

00:12:34.460 What we really are talking about is the top echelon, the top leadership, and it's being directed by the administration.

00:12:39.940 This isn't going to change until we get somebody in the White House that actually cares about this country, actually cares about the rule of law and upholding and defending the Constitution.

00:12:51.340 And until that happens, I think it's just going to get worse.

00:12:54.580 And I think you can look to the southern border as an illustrative example of how when you have the right person in the White House, how things change.

00:13:02.340 And when you have the wrong person, how it goes downhill.

00:13:04.560 And we're talking with Mark Morgan.

00:13:07.340 We're going to continue here in just one moment.

00:13:09.200 Stay with us.

00:13:09.780 We'll be right back.

00:13:16.400 We're back with Mark Morgan, a former commissioner of Customs and Border Protection, serving the nation throughout his career as a federal agent.

00:13:26.460 And I have to say, in the FBI as well.

00:13:30.400 And I want to say, Mark, speaking of things that really anger me, infuriate me, and absolutely, I'm just frustrated out of my mind when I look at what's happened to this federal government.

00:13:47.320 Taxpayers are paying to have a target on their foreheads put there by the FBI, the CIA.

00:13:53.500 You name the alphabet agency, the intelligence community, the Department of Justice, parents want to go to a school board meeting. 0.94

00:14:02.860 We're all told to go to hell and get out of the way and shut up and sit down.

00:14:07.800 I've had a belly full of this federal government, and I've had a belly full of people who rationalize it. 0.98

00:14:13.300 Where are you on it?

00:14:14.800 Yeah, so I'm with you.

00:14:15.660 20 years in the FBI, I'm disheartened of what I see right now.

00:14:18.720 And, Lou, I talk to agents that are active agents now as well as retired agents, and those that I talk to feel very similar.

00:14:27.060 And, again, I really want to foot stomp that the overwhelming majority of the rank and file, they're out there doing the right things for the right reasons.

00:14:35.020 And the FBI, for example, they're still doing incredible investigations protecting this country every single day, full stop.

00:14:42.100 However, however, there's the other side that you just described.

00:14:46.620 It's the reason why the public's perception in the FBI and the Department of Justice has been eroded.

00:14:53.180 You can't dismiss that.

00:14:54.860 That's how they feel.

00:14:56.060 And I think they have legitimate reasons to feel that way.

00:14:59.200 I mean, look at what's happened.

00:15:00.640 Look about the difference between whether you talk about how they treated Hillary and what, you know, James Comey did in July of 2016.

00:15:09.780 And I think it's gone downhill ever since.

00:15:12.000 Let's look at how they attacked school board parents, going to school boards and called them terrorists.

00:15:16.640 We could go on and on, right?

00:15:17.860 We all know the stories.

00:15:19.300 So I think it's legitimate.

00:15:20.800 And real quick, what I'll say also is I put a lot of that blame right now on the current director.

00:15:26.140 Look, I think he's a good, decent man.

00:15:28.020 It's not about that.

00:15:28.980 I think he's making a tactical error about the way that he's addressing it.

00:15:32.920 I mean, he is part of the issue.

00:15:34.500 Rather than admit, hey, I got it.

00:15:36.500 The public's trust is being eroded away.

00:15:38.780 I've got the perception.

00:15:40.140 I understand how there's been some things that were big mistakes.

00:15:42.880 No, he defends it all.

00:15:44.840 And then he attacks, you know, with this arrogance.

00:15:47.480 How dare anybody in this country question the motives of the FBI?

00:15:52.980 How dare you?

00:15:54.160 And he attacks us as mega extremists.

00:15:56.760 That's the wrong approach.

00:15:57.940 And that's why the country's trust in the FBI has continued to grow.

00:16:01.680 You know, I'd love to see Chris Wray show up on this podcast and we'll just have a little talk.

00:16:10.880 Yep.

00:16:11.500 You know, man to man, everybody just, you know, straightforward, civil, but answer the questions and go from there.

00:16:20.760 He won't do that.

00:16:22.940 And you know what? 0.78

00:16:23.760 The agencies of any part of the Department of Justice will not do that because they're corrupt and they're crooked. 0.96

00:16:31.320 And he may be a nice fellow, but he's a crooked fellow. 0.79

00:16:34.480 And he disrespects the Constitution every day in every way.

00:16:38.960 And that's the final, final thing I have to say about it. 0.75

00:16:44.140 I mean, it's just, I mean, he is telling the Congress of the United States to go to hell every, every time he shows up. 0.91

00:16:50.080 He's lying to them. 0.78

00:16:51.440 He knows he's lying to them.

00:16:53.260 And we put up with it.

00:16:54.600 Well, Lou, I think that's the frustration that American people has developed.

00:16:58.460 I think you're spot on in the sense that instead of just being honest, we all make mistakes.

00:17:04.740 The Jets quarterback, you know, of the Chiefs game this past Sunday.

00:17:10.140 Mark Wilson.

00:17:11.400 Yeah, he got on there.

00:17:12.980 And for a young man, I saw his press conference, Lou.

00:17:15.520 It was incredible.

00:17:16.400 He said, you know what?

00:17:17.200 That fumble, it was on me.

00:17:18.980 I lost the game.

00:17:20.060 That was my fault.

00:17:21.360 You know, the receivers and linebackers and the whole team are doing their best.

00:17:24.660 They're trying real hard.

00:17:26.000 I screwed up.

00:17:26.820 I cannot make mistakes like that.

00:17:29.300 It's on me.

00:17:30.160 How about we have Director Wray take that same approach and admit that some of the memos and admit that some of the arrests that have been made were over the top and how that he understands how American people can develop the perception that there's a two tier system of justice and their trust in this, you know, 100 plus year agency has been eroded.

00:17:50.360 But he doesn't do that.

00:17:51.280 But I'm sorry to interrupt you.

00:17:54.040 By the way, I want to say it's Zach Wilson.

00:17:56.940 I made a mistake.

00:17:58.320 One of those mistakes you're talking about.

00:17:59.620 I did it just as a demonstration.

00:18:01.240 I didn't actually make that mistake.

00:18:03.080 I just feigned it.

00:18:04.620 I made that mistake.

00:18:06.540 Zach Wilson. 0.84

00:18:07.360 But you and I both know this man's corrupt to the bone.

00:18:13.620 He's politically corrupt, if not in every other way. 0.98

00:18:17.040 His agency is corrupt.

00:18:18.940 We know that they tried to frame innocent citizens.

00:18:21.800 We're talking about frame a president, to frame a national security advisor, to absolutely throw their weight behind two candidates, Vice President Biden and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, when they wanted to run against President Trump. 0.99

00:18:40.600 These are ignorant and absolutely mendacious and dangerous, dangerous people we're talking about here. 0.99

00:18:50.400 This is this is not a it's not a Boy Scout camp now. 1.00

00:18:54.820 This is a country that is at war with its own government because they have targeted us and they mean to destroy us and this country.

00:19:03.720 And just look at the last eight years, what they've done to President Trump, done to a host of the people who support him.

00:19:11.160 This is if people don't understand right now that the federal government is controlled by the Marxist stems in the deep state and they mean to crush us and the American way of life.

00:19:22.400 There is no hope for them.

00:19:23.920 They're never going to comprehend.

00:19:25.300 Well, no, I think that you are representing how a large chunk of American people feel.

00:19:34.320 I mean, I travel all over this world and the countries, I'm sure you do.

00:19:37.220 And and what you just articulated, I hear from from Americans all over this country.

00:19:42.920 That's how they feel.

00:19:44.060 And look, please don't be wrong.

00:19:46.160 I'm not trying to defend the action.

00:19:48.240 What I'm trying to say is, is that the problem, Ray is part of the problem because he could really make a lot of this go away if he would just address it honestly, if he would just say we've made mistakes, if we would just say he understands how this perception and this is what we're going to do to prevent it.

00:20:05.460 And but then most importantly, what he does, and I've seen him testify, I've seen him give interviews and he projects this this typical arrogance from the leadership right now under this administration that he attacks anyone, anyone who challenges their motives or their actions.

00:20:21.520 As a leader, I've been there.

00:20:23.000 I led a 63000 person organization, the largest law enforcement agency, United States.

00:20:28.840 You can't do that as a leader.

00:20:30.580 You've got to take criticism.

00:20:31.860 You've got to, like you said, have an honest discussion with those that are challenging you.

00:20:36.160 And that's not what's being done.

00:20:38.200 And even if it were possible for him to do that, look where we are.

00:20:45.880 Yeah.

00:20:46.100 Our Congress is filled.

00:20:48.480 Both conferences, and I'm speaking straightforwardly here.

00:20:52.480 I am, I guess you would call me an independent conservative.

00:20:56.000 I am a registered Republican, but I'm an independent conservative.

00:21:00.060 And I keep, I keep my own place in terms of opinions and values.

00:21:08.400 And that's the way it is.

00:21:10.580 I have to say the Republicans are just as weak need. 0.96

00:21:15.400 And I'm just gut sick at how weak they are.

00:21:19.660 And frankly, unprincipled, because they have a respect.

00:21:22.860 I'm not speaking of every one of them.

00:21:24.540 I believe that these investigating committees are filled with great patriots and great people.

00:21:30.700 I believe that the leadership of the Republican Party in the House is just, they're just gone.

00:21:36.480 They have no idea how corrupt they are, even as corrupt as they are.

00:21:40.420 So, I don't know where we go.

00:21:43.720 I really don't.

00:21:44.580 And I'm sitting here on a podcast talking to folks and talking with folks, trying to figure it all out.

00:21:50.840 But the truth of the matter is the country is in deep, and I believe mortal, pain and confusion.

00:21:58.260 And the answers are not going to be easy.

00:22:00.340 They're not going to be easy.

00:22:02.500 And the only thing that will make it, you know, I pray to God that we get to November and that election in 2024.

00:22:11.140 I'm not sure we will.

00:22:13.220 Yeah.

00:22:13.600 Lou, amen.

00:22:14.860 Look, I agree.

00:22:15.460 I think our nation is in real trouble.

00:22:18.000 And unfortunately, I think because what you said, and I've said it is Democrats, when it comes to borders specifically,

00:22:24.240 the Democrats created the crisis, but the Republicans lack the political courage and will to actually fix it.

00:22:30.340 And so I think, right, I think we're stuck until 2024 and we get somebody back in the White House like President Trump that understood that border security is synonymous with national security and knows and understands how to fix it and how to secure it and that will do that.

00:22:44.960 You know, we were talking with Steve Friend, who's a FBI whistleblower.

00:22:49.500 I don't know if you know him, but a great American.

00:22:52.240 And I asked him what he thought should be done with the FBI.

00:22:56.280 And he said, we should just smash it to pieces and start again.

00:23:00.800 I want to find out what you think, Mark Morgan, what we ought to do about a host of agencies, the FBI, the Border Patrol, the DHS, and go from there.

00:23:10.560 We'll be right back.

00:23:11.460 Stay with us.

00:23:12.000 We're back.

00:23:18.640 We're talking with great American Mark Morgan.

00:23:21.000 Mark, thanks again so much for being with us.

00:23:23.200 I always enjoy talking with you.

00:23:24.660 I'm I'm particularly piqued, I guess, as the saying goes today.

00:23:28.780 It's just it's just stupefying to think that we as a people have gotten ourselves and this great, great nation into such such a disastrous mess.

00:23:42.680 We have permitted it if we haven't instigated and created it. 0.94

00:23:46.880 We're certainly perpetuating it with our cowardice and our laziness and our our pathetic apathy. 0.97

00:23:52.720 What do you think we should do about the DOJ, which is obviously corrupt? 0.95

00:23:57.920 We've got hundreds of our fellow citizens, prisoners of war to these Marxist leftists of the FBI, the Department of Justice.

00:24:07.140 We've got a nation just reeling from millions of illegal immigrants being dumped in this country over the past two and a half years.

00:24:15.480 What's your thought on the FBI, the DHS, the Border Patrol, all of it?

00:24:23.480 Yeah.

00:24:23.680 So first, let's start with DHS, because I think that's much more straightforward.

00:24:27.000 As I said earlier, DHS is a failed experiment.

00:24:29.620 It needs to be disbanded and you can disband a department.

00:24:33.040 That's very different than disbanding a specific component like the FBI or Border Patrol within the department.

00:24:41.760 DHS, it's just it hasn't accomplished what it intended to do.

00:24:45.480 It's become this huge bureaucratic entity.

00:24:48.280 And that's just gotten that.

00:24:49.360 That's really what they focused on.

00:24:50.600 It's just becoming more bureaucracy filled with bureaucracy than actual substance.

00:24:54.960 What I say is you can carve that out.

00:24:56.840 The functions that are like the border security function in there.

00:24:59.720 You can take ICE and CBP and other functions and create one entity that's really so focused is going to be to secure our borders, all of them, land, air and sea.

00:25:09.700 Now, when you come over to the FBI, again, that's a component within the Department of Justice.

00:25:13.520 That's a little bit harder, Lou.

00:25:15.360 I've heard candidates like Vivek.

00:25:17.480 Look, he's a smart guy.

00:25:18.640 He's made more money than I can ever dream about.

00:25:20.900 But he talks about what he would do with the FBI.

00:25:23.540 He's just flat out wrong.

00:25:25.520 You know, you can't.

00:25:27.040 There's no other entity right now in the federal government that can do some of the things that the FBI does on a couple of fronts.

00:25:33.740 Counterintelligence front, cyber front, as well as the terrorism front.

00:25:39.420 There's no other domestic entity right now in this country that can take on those responsibilities that the FBI is doing.

00:25:47.120 Having said that, the FBI is in serious trouble.

00:25:50.100 The FBI has to regain the public's trust that's being eroded.

00:25:54.720 One way that I think you can do that is to maybe carve off some aspects of what the FBI does, as well as you're going to have to gut the leadership in the FBI.

00:26:06.200 The public has to believe that anybody that's part of this issue right now is no longer able to influence the future direction of the FBI.

00:26:16.720 I think Dr. Ray should have done that when he took over and he did it.

00:26:20.140 And I think that was one of his fundamental flaws.

00:26:22.700 Well, it's interesting.

00:26:24.000 And what do you think about this next president?

00:26:29.340 Only Donald Trump has stated categorically and planted his flag, if you will, on that hill that says we will secure the border.

00:26:40.540 And we will.

00:26:41.600 We will run the largest deportation operation in the history of the country.

00:26:47.820 So we've got with I guess I'm guessing here like everybody else.

00:26:52.240 No one really knows, including the agencies.

00:26:53.980 But my guess is there are at least I'm going to say eight to 12 million illegals who've made it their way into the country in the past two and a half years.

00:27:04.980 And I know that sounds like a lot.

00:27:06.560 But you go through all the encounters.

00:27:08.440 It's two million a year.

00:27:09.780 We don't know what happened to them.

00:27:11.200 The getaways.

00:27:12.020 That's another million a year.

00:27:13.880 We don't know what happened to them.

00:27:15.420 When we know they've been the NGOs have been transporting people in nonstop for two and a half years.

00:27:21.540 So my number is eight to 12.

00:27:23.440 What's yours?

00:27:24.400 Yeah, almost there.

00:27:25.220 I think we're going to get there by the end of the Biden administration, Lou.

00:27:27.440 So I think you're on track right now.

00:27:28.720 The first 32 months, we've had 7.5 million total nationwide encounters and known guideways are 1.6 million, which goes to your point, though.

00:27:37.840 Those are known guideways.

00:27:39.460 A former chief of Border Patrol under oath during congressional testimony said that number is probably unreported by 20 percent.

00:27:45.920 I think it's higher.

00:27:46.840 I was a former chief and the commissioner.

00:27:48.540 I think it's actually higher.

00:27:49.760 So you could, in my opinion, you could easily say the past 32 months, we're getting near 10 million.

00:27:55.820 And by the end of Biden's first full term for years, you're going to be in the 13 to 14 million total nationwide encounters and guideways easily.

00:28:06.480 Think about that.

00:28:07.200 I mean, that's almost the equivalent of the entire state of New York.

00:28:11.840 I mean, this is absurd, right?

00:28:13.540 And we know that that half of those being encountered or more are being released, plus the guideways.

00:28:18.340 I mean, we've literally added an equivalent of a 51st state of guideways.

00:28:23.380 And why are guideways so important?

00:28:25.300 Because who are among the guideways?

00:28:27.000 The majority of illegal aliens sit down, turn themselves into border of Tokyo because they know they're going to be processed and released in the United States.

00:28:32.780 Why do we have guideways?

00:28:33.660 Because those are where even this administration would detain or remove them because they're criminals, murderers, rapists, podipers, aggravated felon and gang members.

00:28:42.640 1.6 million have invaded this country and now call the United States home. 1.00

00:28:47.500 Lou, it's unconscionable.

00:28:48.520 It's unsustainable.

00:28:49.420 And I believe it's criminal.

00:28:52.440 And you know what?

00:28:53.720 What's the last Republican you heard stand up and say what you just said?

00:28:57.640 I agree.

00:28:58.340 What office holder, what congressman, what senator has had the guts to stand up there and say it?

00:29:06.640 You know, the only one that does?

00:29:09.700 President Trump.

00:29:11.120 And Lou, you said something very important that President Trump says right now that I'm not seeing anybody else say it's a multilayer strategy.

00:29:18.580 Oh, so, you know, I've heard some candidates get real tough about, oh, I'm going to secure the border.

00:29:22.860 I'm going to build the wall.

00:29:23.820 But what they fail to understand that President Trump does, it's not a one-dimensional strategy.

00:29:30.060 It's a multilayer strategy, right?

00:29:32.340 You've got to go after and force Mexico to step up and increase their interior enforcement and secure their borders.

00:29:38.060 You've got to force the Northern Triangle countries to do the same. 0.99

00:29:41.340 You've got to put resources on our border.

00:29:43.060 And you actually have to increase interior enforcement as well.

00:29:47.620 You have to do all of those things to be successful, to deter the flow, and secure our borders, and protect and defend the American people.

00:29:54.520 And Trump gets it.

00:29:55.880 He gets it.

00:29:57.080 He did it.

00:29:58.440 Point of fact.

00:29:59.460 He made a partner out of Lopez Obrador.

00:30:03.640 He did.

00:30:04.320 Instead of an enemy, as this president did, who's doing more to ship out Mexico's problems than any president ever has in the country.

00:30:15.140 If I can, real quick, you're right.

00:30:17.480 At one point, because I was there as commissioner, Mexico had about 25,000 personnel engaged in this global issue that it is.

00:30:24.940 He was increasing interior enforcement.

00:30:26.800 He was securing his own southern border.

00:30:28.540 And that led, by February of 2020, we had reduced illegal immigration by 85 percent because of what Trump forced Mexico to do, as well as our own network of tools, stories, and policies that we had implemented.

00:30:40.260 You're absolutely correct.

00:30:41.240 Well, you're great to join us again here, and I hope you'll come back soon and we can keep this subject alive.

00:30:50.660 The frustration that I'm expressing, that you're expressing, is felt by hundreds of millions of Americans.

00:30:58.760 Let's be straightforward.

00:30:59.900 This is not just simply a right-left Republican-Democrat issue.

00:31:04.580 Everyone understands, irrespective of race, creed, ethnicity, religion, you name it.

00:31:13.560 However, the demographers want to slice us all up.

00:31:18.200 We're Americans, and this is a disaster for Americans, our schoolchildren, for everyone, families.

00:31:25.080 My God, the cost and the evil that is being done to this country by this administration.

00:31:32.520 One of the great good guys, great American, Mark Morgan, we thank you for being with us, and God bless you, Mark.
