00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody. I'm Lou Dobbs. This is The Great America Show. Welcome, and it's great to
00:00:04.900 have you with us today. These are, without doubt, times that try our souls. We know ours is a
00:00:11.460 federal government that is corrupt, corrupt through and through. We know the Marxist Dems
00:00:16.500 are simply evil. Seven years of political persecution of Donald Trump, with no evidence
00:00:22.520 produced of wrongdoing of any kind whatsoever, is a monstrous outrage, a national disgrace.
00:00:30.060 The Soros-supported Manhattan DA is no better than the violent thugs that he quickly puts back on the
00:00:36.920 streets of New York without prosecution. District Attorney Alvin Bragg downgraded more than half of
00:00:43.580 his felony cases and then lost half of those cases in court. Bragg is not only soft on crime,
00:00:51.140 he's not much of a prosecutor. He's out and out, either corrupt or inept or a toxic combination of
00:00:58.400 the two. Bragg isn't any worse, though, frankly, than the federal prosecutors and the corrupt
00:01:04.060 Department of Justice. The persecution of Donald Trump has taught us much about our deep state-run
00:01:10.160 government and the Marxist Dem Party. We do know a few things now we otherwise would have only suspected.
00:01:16.980 The FBI, the DOJ, and intel community conspired with the Marxist Dems of the Clinton campaign
00:01:23.980 and Democratic National Committee to smear and frame Donald Trump, both as a candidate
00:01:29.580 and then as president. We know they then tried to overthrow his presidency with the same lies.
00:01:36.120 We don't know but strongly suspect that the Marxist Dems and deep state had at least the implicit go-ahead
00:01:44.420 from a number of the rhino GOP leaders. Whether the years-long persecution of Donald Trump or the
00:01:52.000 Marxist Dems' totalitarian treatment of their January 6th political prisoners, there can be no doubt that
00:01:58.740 the United States in this moment is more threatened from within than from any foreign enemy. Our guest
00:02:06.700 today knows the reality of what we face. Our guest is Congressman Barry Loudermilk of Georgia. By the way,
00:02:13.680 he was a target of the January 6th committee. The J6 committee members knowingly lied about the
00:02:21.160 congressman. They claimed at one point the congressman was doing reconnaissance the day before
00:02:27.480 January 6th when the congressman was hosting a group of mainly friends and others and showing them
00:02:33.680 around the Capitol. Congressman Loudermilk had to defend himself and fought against the false charges
00:02:39.880 of the lying Marxist Dems on the lying J6 committee. And he prevailed. Congressman Loudermilk knows what
00:02:48.120 it's like to see our government declare war on our citizens and our constitutions. And just at the end
00:02:54.360 of last month, Congressman Loudermilk stood with some of his constituents in Smyrna, Georgia, when the ATF
00:03:01.320 sent in agents from all over the country trying to intimidate the owners of what is the world's
00:03:07.720 largest gun store. Congressman, welcome. You've been in the fight big time and I want you to know I
00:03:13.960 appreciate what you're doing for the country. It's good to have you with us and let's start with the
00:03:18.580 January 6th investigation. Matthew Graves, the U.S. attorney announcing 700 to 1200 more Americans
00:03:27.320 are potential defendants of the January 6th charges by the politically corrupt Justice Department.
00:03:34.840 Your reaction? Well, you know, these things are coming so quickly it's hard to tell. And
00:03:39.780 I am amazed that there are still that many more people that they are, you know, pressing charges on.
00:03:47.060 And so we'll be looking in the direction of, of course, that is not under the jurisdiction of my
00:03:53.800 committee. That's a, uh, uh, uh, Jim Jordan's got the judiciary and Jamie Comer has, uh, the D.C.
00:04:00.440 uh, oversight, which, uh, includes the, the, the jail here in D.C. But we are working together in all
00:04:07.640 this. My jurisdiction is over the Capitol Capitol Police and the January 6th committee. But we are
00:04:13.560 working together to make sure that, um, we provide the defense for every, every case. And, you know,
00:04:22.360 that they have the right to receive all the information. And so, uh, I have custody of
00:04:28.360 the 44,000 hours of video. And so we're making sure that the defense attorneys have the ability
00:04:34.020 to view it. Now, what you've got to understand is when, uh, when those that have already gone
00:04:39.240 through trial are going through trial now, their defense was told there was only 14,000 hours of
00:04:44.000 video. When we took custody of it, we found out that's not the case. There's 44,000 hours of video.
00:04:50.360 And now we're, we're able to release a lot of that. And we're, uh, also allowing these
00:04:56.120 attorneys to come in and view this additional footage because there may be evidence in there
00:05:00.200 that would exonerate, uh, their client or at least show, look, they, in this particular case,
00:05:06.120 this client wasn't violent, um, or they didn't actually get into the Capitol. So, uh, that's how
00:05:12.360 we're working together with the other committees and, uh, and, and to make sure that all the evidence is made available.
00:05:18.360 It's, it is, let me say as a, as a broadcaster for a good part of my life, I fully appreciate how much
00:05:26.880 44,000 hours of video represents and time, uh, the ability to edit, to manage it, uh, to, uh, do what
00:05:36.740 you will with it. That is a monumental task. Who is in charge of that? Where is the centralized
00:05:43.240 location of that video and who has chain of custody control over it?
00:05:49.720 So the videos are actually, I actually have the custody of access to it. So it's actually tying
00:05:58.120 into the Capitol police, uh, archive of, of video from those days. And so we have terminals set up
00:06:04.840 that, uh, that, uh, when an attorney or, uh, somebody, uh, another member of Congress wants
00:06:11.480 access to go look up something that they're, they're investigating. Then we, uh, we have them
00:06:16.920 in a location here near the Capitol that we'll take them and they, uh, you know, with 44,000 hours,
00:06:23.240 you said how overwhelming that is. Well, if you sat down and you watch the videos for, uh, 24 hours a day,
00:06:29.400 um, it would take you about 15 years, uh, to go through all that video. So you're talking like
00:06:35.720 11, 1200 different cameras at different locations around the Capitol complex. So we will go in and
00:06:42.520 show them how, how you work it, how you find, you kind of got to know the area and we'll help them get
00:06:47.640 to the cameras and then just let them review it. Um, and then because the way it's system, the system
00:06:53.640 is set up, you're just looking at, uh, the actual archives within the Capitol police system.
00:06:59.240 There's no way of recording it, et cetera. If there is a clip that they need, then we set it up for
00:07:04.440 them to be able to receive, uh, that clip or those clips. The only restriction is there are some
00:07:10.120 sensitive areas in the Capitol that, um, uh, you look, you, you don't want Al Qaeda or China to know
00:07:18.360 where certain areas, uh, you know, escape routes or, or secured areas in the Capitol are. So we know
00:07:25.240 where those areas are. And if there happens to be a camera there, we just run it by the
00:07:29.000 Capitol police to make sure it isn't exposed. And that's something that January six committee didn't
00:07:32.760 do. Uh, but we're doing just to make sure that, you know, we, we don't expose something we don't
00:07:38.360 have to. And so far there's been, uh, only one video that even had an area that was a concern, but,
00:07:45.960 uh, we worked to just walk that part out and it's been fine. So the Capitol police have been working
00:07:51.320 very cooperatively with us on those things. So with that in mind, the defense attorneys
00:07:57.000 who desperately need to get the video that shows whatever their client, wherever they were present,
00:08:02.120 whatever they were doing is, is there a way in which to expedite that, to get that video out to
00:08:09.080 them? Because what many Americans don't know is that video has been hit withheld from a defense
00:08:14.920 attorneys and their clients over the course of the past two years. And by the way, consciously,
00:08:21.240 and intentionally so. Yeah, it has. And that's why we, uh, we, we, we've prioritized access to these.
00:08:29.480 And it, there are attorneys coming in. I mean, we've already had them in and looking,
00:08:35.080 so it's not just something we're projecting it's happening now. And as soon as the speaker said,
00:08:39.960 we're going to make these available, we make it available to the media. We're going to make it
00:08:43.480 available to defense attorneys. Um, and, and we set up protocols just, uh, of how to get them in,
00:08:49.960 uh, you know, who to contact. And so they'll come over and spend as much time as they need,
00:08:55.240 uh, getting the, the videos, we show them how to do it. So it's, it's actually happening at this point.
00:09:00.440 And, uh, you know, there were some that was, that were released a few weeks ago. And, uh,
00:09:06.680 I think that from what I'm hearing, and, uh, I've had, I've read some articles since that
00:09:13.400 this could have an impact, uh, on the, uh, the January six shaman, you know, the guy who was,
00:09:21.880 you know, where the Buffalo head, um, it, it, it may have an impact on his case because, uh, even,
00:09:28.840 even Jonathan Turley, the constitutional attorney, uh, wrote an article after that saying it would
00:09:34.600 definitely had an effect on his sentencing because it showed the opposite of what the prosecution was
00:09:43.320 trying to show that he was violent. This showed the exact opposite. And that's the problem when
00:09:48.040 you withhold this stuff is they, they, they aren't getting a fair trial. Yeah. They're not getting a
00:09:54.040 fair trial. They went after that man. They railroaded him. Uh, and every one of the, every one of the
00:10:00.600 prosecutors involved with that case should be put on trial. Uh, that was an outrage. It was a despicable
00:10:08.600 lie. Congressman Latimer, it's just, it's unthinkable. Uh, you mentioned that the shaman case,
00:10:15.400 but we haven't seen any video since I haven't seen any video since what's happened.
00:10:22.360 Well, we've offered the media to come in and, uh, they, they can get through the same process that
00:10:27.320 Fox news did. And, uh, that's actually being run through the speaker's office. And I don't know
00:10:32.360 that any more media has, has come in and got the video. Now, the attorneys that come in, a lot of
00:10:38.200 them, they're not going to go out and, uh, from talking to, to some of the folks associated with
00:10:44.920 them, they're probably not going to go out there and publish those videos yet because they don't want
00:10:49.080 to jeopardize their case for their, their client. Right. Um, but you'll be seeing more and more as we go
00:10:55.320 through it. And if we uncover more January 6 report, which we already saw this week is, is it would be
00:11:02.840 kind to say it's flawed. It was more from what I've seen so far. We've only scratched the surface of it
00:11:08.520 because we've got, uh, about 2 million pages of printed documentation. Terabytes of data and 44,000
00:11:16.040 hours of video to go through. We barely scratched the surface with a case that involved me, a false
00:11:22.200 accusation that I gave reconnaissance tours the day before. Um, and, and we can, we were able to
00:11:29.000 show that with the evidence that the January 6 committee had evidence that I obtained that they
00:11:35.080 knew before they made the accusation that it was a false allegation, that it was totally false. There
00:11:41.080 was nothing to it. There were no reconnaissance tours. The people that came to visit my office
00:11:46.280 didn't even get close to the Capitol on January 6, but they, but they didn't, they want, so wanted to
00:11:52.920 create a political narrative that they were going to alter this evidence to make it fit their story. And
00:11:59.160 that's what we exposed yesterday that they, they just took, they cherry picked what they wanted the
00:12:05.320 American people to see. So going from this point forward, well, that's what we're looking for. We're
00:12:10.600 looking at their evidence. I'm taking this thing from a purely objective standpoint, just where the
00:12:16.360 evidence leads. And the evidence is showing us that the report, at least so far that they put out
00:12:21.080 there is it's nothing but a, a novel. They're a disgrace. And, uh, that, that committee is going
00:12:28.120 to go down in history as to what it should be remembered as, uh, an offense against, uh, everything
00:12:34.120 that America stands for. I want to say you stand for everything that is good about America. Uh,
00:12:40.600 and I want to compliment you, uh, because what you did for one of your constituents, uh, when the ATF
00:12:47.480 showed up with 16, 16 agents from out of state to intimidate, uh, the owners, uh, and the employees
00:12:57.880 of the, uh, the, I guess it's the largest gun shop in Georgia, uh, uh, it's outdoor adventures. Uh,
00:13:06.440 you stood there and, uh, we're certain to, to make sure you were there for your constituents. And I
00:13:13.720 just want to applaud you. The fact that you brought along several other congressmen with you, uh, I
00:13:20.440 just, uh, I think that is the way this country is supposed to work. And I just want to salute you. And I
00:13:25.240 want to tell the ATF, don't be political pawns guys. You're better than that. Uh, step up and get
00:13:31.640 out of the way of these political thugs that you work for right now in the Biden regime. Uh,
00:13:37.720 your thoughts, Congressman. Yeah. And you know, this is really what I think, uh, being a representative
00:13:45.800 of the people really means part of our role. Our constitutional role is oversight of the federal
00:13:51.640 government and federal agencies. When I got a call by my friend, uh, Eric, uh, owner of, uh,
00:13:58.280 him and his dad are owners of, uh, Adventure Outdoors. Uh, he called me over the weekend.
00:14:02.200 He said, look, we've been through this before, but never, uh, to this level. This is very unprecedented
00:14:07.880 that 16 ATF inspectors are descending on our store on Monday to do a complete full surprise audit. And,
00:14:17.880 and so I asked him one more. I said, so what is unprecedented? He said, the number to start with,
00:14:24.280 um, is 16. The most we've ever had before was eight. And he said, and that they're all coming
00:14:30.920 from out of state because there's, uh, about 20 inspectors in Georgia. So they're bringing 16 from
00:14:37.480 out of state. He said, this is highly unusual. And we know what's going on in the Biden administration.
00:14:44.360 You buy firearms like I do. You fill out the background check form, the 4473. And, uh, so they
00:14:51.800 have to keep those on file. And so the ATF will come in and they'll review those. Now, the law says
00:14:58.360 that the ATF cannot hold against you a clerical error. Clerical error being somebody transcribed a,
00:15:05.720 uh, a number wrong. Instead of a one nine, they put nine one. That's a clerical error. Or the date at
00:15:11.800 the signature block is wrong. They are not to use that as justification, uh, to take your license.
00:15:17.800 What they're supposed to be looking for are illegal gun cells. But the Biden administration
00:15:23.000 has adopted this zero tolerance policy to where they're actually revoking, uh, federal firearms
00:15:28.680 licenses, uh, because of these clerical errors. Now, uh, when you've got approximately 15,000 of these
00:15:36.600 documents that they have right now, you know, there's going to be a clerical error. So that was
00:15:41.080 our concern. And so as part of oversight, I said, you know, instead of just writing a letter to the
00:15:46.360 ATF, how about if I show up and be there, uh, when the inspectors are there and just say, hey, look,
00:15:51.080 I'm, I'm doing part of my job as an oversight, because a lot of times oversight, we see that as
00:15:57.880 we have a prescripted hearing here in Washington, D.C. where we bring in, you know, the director of
00:16:03.800 an agency who's only going to be, he's going to be told what to say by his attorneys. But if you're
00:16:09.080 in the field, you're going to see the way that things really happen. And I thought, well, there's
00:16:12.600 16 inspectors and only one of me. Let me go ahead and call some of my other Georgia colleagues from
00:16:17.720 Congress to go with me. And four of us ended up showing up. And, uh, we just want the ATF to know.
00:16:23.800 No, it was, uh, Rich McCormick, um, and Mike Collins, both, uh, new members of Congress.
00:16:31.000 And, uh, you may have heard of her Marjorie Taylor Greene. I'm not sure, but you know,
00:16:34.600 she came as well. So, um, MTG. Yeah. Yeah. MTG was there with us too. And it was just there to
00:16:42.680 let them know, Hey, we're not here to interfere with the work you're doing, but we are very interested,
00:16:46.840 not only the work you're doing to make sure it's done according to the law. And I told them that,
00:16:51.160 um, what was the reaction of those ATF agents? And I assume they had a supervisor or two with them.
00:16:57.320 What was their reaction when you showed up? Well, there was, there was a chief inspector
00:17:03.080 that was there and, uh, the, the other 15, and they didn't know we were going to be there. We got
00:17:08.920 there early. We were sitting in the conference room, just meeting and talking about, you know,
00:17:12.600 kind of getting a briefing about what, how these things go and all this. And so when they came,
00:17:17.880 they assembled in another meeting area. And so, uh, Eric took us on the way there. He said,
00:17:24.040 Hi, I've just told them there's some local people here that want to meet them. So they're waiting to
00:17:28.360 greet you. And so when we walked in and I said, hi, I'm Congressman Barry Loudermilk, you could hear
00:17:33.240 a pin drop. And immediately one of the inspectors pick up the phone and frantically started calling.
00:17:38.920 And I was like, that's gotta be the lead inspector there. Um, pretty quickly, uh, they were, she
00:17:46.600 informed us that they weren't allowed to answer any of our questions. And, and, uh, so I continued
00:17:52.440 to tell them what we were doing and some of the others tried to ask questions. Well, when she got on
00:17:56.920 the phone, uh, representative Rich McCorvey just said, Hey, where are you guys from? And they went down the
00:18:02.360 line telling us where they were from mostly all large, very liberal cities like Boston, Los Angeles,
00:18:11.000 San Francisco, New York, Chicago. They were from all cities like that. When we've got 20 inspectors
00:18:18.040 in Georgia, why do you bring folks from these liberal cities into Georgia to do a routine inspection?
00:18:24.920 Um, who know nothing after a while, who knew nothing about the store that is typically audited by the,
00:18:34.280 by the Atlanta base folks in the ATF. I mean, that is where they have relations with, that they work
00:18:39.800 with regularly. Yeah. And so, um, we, I said, look, we, we knew we weren't getting anything else. I said,
00:18:46.520 we'll let you guys go back to get back to work. And, uh, we went up in the conference room, uh, Eric came back
00:18:51.880 up, uh, uh, about 15 minutes later. He said, they all left. They all grabbed their stuff and left.
00:18:57.560 I'm so they're going to be back. They're just waiting because all of us were on our way to the
00:19:01.560 airport to fly up to DC. So we had just taken some time. I said, they know we're going to be in DC.
00:19:05.960 They're going to wait. Um, they eventually did come back while we were still there, but they did bring
00:19:10.120 their public information officer to meet with us. And, uh, I informed him, I said, you, you, this is
00:19:16.040 what's happening across the country. And amazingly, he didn't deny it. I said, we're just here to make sure
00:19:21.240 that that doesn't happen here. And, uh, so, uh, last I heard talking, uh, with, uh, Eric today is that
00:19:30.600 they are still there. They're working. They expect that they'll be there through, uh, uh, through the
00:19:37.320 end of the week. But ironically, uh, Ron DeSantis is going to be at the store tomorrow. So, um,
00:19:43.240 uh, we've wondered if there were some coincidence there. So let's, uh, well, let's hope, you know,
00:19:51.560 good on governor DeSantis for being there, but I have to say that, uh, it's good for you. The,
00:19:58.200 the delegation from Georgia to be there for your constituent. Uh, this should, I wish that every
00:20:05.320 congressman and woman in the country would do this for their clients and particularly where the ATF with
00:20:11.280 the second amendment, uh, right now under assault, by the way, the president of the United States
00:20:15.920 himself was saying, uh, that he wanted this, you know, I think you're talking about clerical errors.
00:20:20.500 If one thing is out of shape, I think he said, uh, you know, that's it, get their license or something
00:20:26.240 to that effect. I mean, Biden is out of his mind. He's a, he's a typical Marxist thug, uh, with a big
00:20:34.040 grin, uh, and the federal government. Yeah. I mean, what, you know, these inspectors,
00:20:41.260 make mistakes. Are they held accountable for their mistakes? No, we need accountability across
00:20:45.940 the board. And that's where Congress comes in. We're the accountability to these agencies.
00:20:50.820 Well, and, and you're animated and energized and that is great. And the fact that that, uh, first,
00:20:57.740 that chief inspector of that group, uh, his first reflex was to get on the phone to Washington.
00:21:03.540 Uh, you know, that really says a lot because right now the American people are scared to death
00:21:08.840 of their government. Uh, a lot of people won't admit it, but they are, uh, the American people
00:21:13.780 have been intimidated. They January 6th showed them what their, what happens when their government
00:21:18.380 turns against them, the weaponization of the federal government. Thank God that you guys won
00:21:23.640 the control of the house so that there would be a weaponization committee under, uh, Jim Jordan,
00:21:30.140 the chairman of the judiciary committee, because this thing has got to get not only aired out,
00:21:35.040 but I mean, we got to wash this thing down, uh, after we throw these fools out of, out of office.
00:21:41.160 This is a war between the, between good and evil. It's a war between Republicans and, uh,
00:21:49.400 and Democrats, uh, across the board. This is a government that hates us and no one should
00:21:56.860 misunderstand it. No one should, uh, in any way, uh, sugarcoat it. Your government hates you and they
00:22:03.560 prove it every damn day. Uh, Congressman, we always give our guests the last word and
00:22:08.840 your concluding thoughts, if you will. Uh, you know what? I'm going to quote Thomas Jefferson
00:22:14.900 as a concluding thought who said, when the people fear the government, there's tyranny. When the
00:22:20.520 government through the people, there's Liberty. That's a great. And that's what we need to restore
00:22:26.440 is that the government works for us and is accountable to us. Well, for that moment, uh,
00:22:33.600 in Smyrna, Georgia, when, uh, you walked in and, uh, you could hear a pin drop, as you put it,
00:22:39.820 I think Thomas Jefferson's, uh, description of democracy, uh, was in, in action. And I want to
00:22:48.000 thank you for making that moment possible. We appreciate it. Well, thank you, Luke. All right.
00:22:52.840 Thank you for all you do, Congressman. Congressman Loudermilk, uh, doing a great job for the people
00:22:58.840 of Georgia and for the American people. We appreciate and God bless. All right. God bless
00:23:04.660 you. And thank you. Congressman Barry Loudermilk, a great American. And here tomorrow, our weekly talk
00:23:10.580 about the surveillance state that America has become. We'll be talking with former NSA intelligence
00:23:16.420 analyst and whistleblower, Russ Tice. And as Marcus Aurelius said, never more appropriately in this age
00:23:24.380 of disinformation and propaganda, he said, everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Good to remember.
00:23:33.200 Sounds about right. Doesn't it? Please join us here tomorrow when we take up the latest on the
00:23:37.340 surveillance state and the government that must be feared till then. Thanks. God bless you. And God bless
00:23:45.680 America.
