00:00:00.000 hello everybody and welcome to the great america show it's great to have you with us on another
00:00:06.700 beautiful day in america thanks so much for being with us tonight live for the great america show
00:00:11.040 wherever you're tuned in from as always uh let us know if you're joining us on good old-fashioned
00:00:15.300 audio uh we appreciate you joining us there before we get into the big news of the day about
00:00:21.340 anthony fauci you know i did a little rant on him yesterday because i was just so pissed off
00:00:27.080 uh about how little has been done to this man who's been allowed to been pardoned by maybe an
00:00:34.600 auto pen and pretty much just run rampant making several hundreds of thousands of dollars a year
00:00:41.280 as a government employee seemingly thinking that he's untouchable he's invincible almost like he's
00:00:47.700 deadpool um that nobody can get him nobody's you know allowed to ask him any questions nobody's
00:00:55.920 allowed to bring up coronavirus. And we're going to get to it, but I want to first begin with some
00:01:02.480 other big news of the day. The Senate Judiciary Committee voted this morning to advance Todd
00:01:07.900 Blanche's nomination for attorney general. It was a vote of 12 to 10. The committee advances Blanche
00:01:13.240 after RINO Senators Tom Tillis and Cornyn backed down and came to an agreement over the
00:01:18.500 weaponization fund. The full confirmation vote to make Blanche permanent AG could happen as early
00:01:25.200 as last this week. Last Sunday night, Todd Blanche rescinded that $1.8 billion weaponization fund
00:01:33.300 that was put forth by the Trump administration as a way to give back to those people who were
00:01:42.480 taken advantage of, abused, violated, their rights violated during the sham January 6th
00:01:50.440 committee witch hunt during the witch hunt in Congress, during the witch hunt of the FBI,
00:01:57.920 you name it. These people were, lives were destroyed. People spent years in jail without
00:02:04.600 seeing a judge, without seeing a trial. It was almost like it was non-America. It was literally
00:02:09.820 like these people were being locked up in Venezuela, where there was no right to due process,
00:02:15.080 no right to face your accuser. And that's what we went through for years.
00:02:18.880 But now there's still people who are pissed, including myself, for the very little that has been done to hold those to account who used and abused the laws and went against the laws of this country to demean these people of their rights.
00:02:39.920 So we hope as Attorney General of the United States, Todd Blanche, who, by the way, saw firsthand what it was like to have someone's rights taken from them, because he was President Trump's personal attorney as he sat in that New York courtroom.
00:02:58.160 Now, Blanche was a Democrat, I believe, but hopefully he's come around after seeing what the Democrats were so capable of doing during those four short years, I should say long years, of Joseph Robinette Biden and the abuses of Merrick Garland and the arrest of the administration.
00:03:28.160 it was a travesty. And they took advantage. And like I said, still to this day,
00:03:34.980 nobody has ever been held accountable for that. So we hope, like I said, Todd Blanche
00:03:41.480 hits the ground running when the time comes. So last week, while I was on vacation,
00:03:51.420 it was, I think Paul could have waited a week, right? Anthony Fauci was before Congress.
00:03:58.160 As he sat down, Rand Paul had a very straight to the point, 30 second instruction for him.
00:04:07.760 Therefore, although it pains me to do so because of the respect I have for the legislative branch
00:04:16.320 of government and my decades-long record of cooperating with Congress, under the advice
00:04:24.300 of my attorneys, I will invoke my right under the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution to
00:04:31.200 refrain from answering your questions.
00:04:33.820 Thank you.
00:04:37.760 So Rand Paul simply told him, you're here to answer questions to Congress.
00:04:45.220 But Rand Paul, Anthony Fauci, recited that same line over a hundred times.
00:04:51.960 So Rand Paul today, introducing text to a resolution to hold Anthony Fauci in contempt of Congress
00:05:01.120 by laying out the timeline of the former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease chief
00:05:09.140 for refusing to answer pertinent questions to the Senate,
00:05:13.500 despite what many Republicans dubbed his auto-pen pardon from Joe Biden.
00:05:19.200 Authorizing the president of the Senate to certify the report of the Committee of the Homeland Security
00:05:23.100 and Government Affairs of the Senate regarding the refusal of Anthony Fauci
00:05:27.040 to answer pertinent
00:05:29.240 to the subject under the inquiry before the committee
00:05:33.080 as required by the committee subpoena.
00:05:36.740 This is according to the resolution
00:05:38.580 walking through the sequence of events
00:05:41.560 leading to the resolution
00:05:42.780 as Fauci refused to answer any panel questions last week
00:05:47.140 rather pled the fifth over a hundred times
00:05:49.680 even refusing to answer a question
00:05:51.720 acknowledging a folder that was sitting in front of him.
00:05:54.020 The arrogance from him
00:05:57.760 Unmatched
00:05:59.900 Unseen before by the way either
00:06:01.460 The arrogance
00:06:07.560 Now the resolution notes that Fauci was instructed
00:06:11.940 That he was to provide testimony
00:06:14.080 Concerning matters under the consideration
00:06:16.020 By the committee including the origins
00:06:18.080 Of COVID-19
00:06:19.120 Risky life science research
00:06:21.660 and his tenure as a federal government employee,
00:06:25.220 yet he refused to do so despite the existence of his auto-Pen pardon.
00:06:32.120 The resolution reads, Fauci was knowingly provided a full and unconditional pardon
00:06:37.780 dated January 19, 2025, for any offenses against the United States,
00:06:42.760 which he may have committed or taken pardon during that period from January 14, 2014,
00:06:48.780 through the date of this pardon arising from in any manner related to his service as director
00:06:55.000 of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease as a member of the White
00:06:59.200 House Coronavirus Task Force or as a White House COVID-19 response team or as chief medical advisor
00:07:05.620 to the president. I've mentioned that January 1st, 2014 date is rather interesting. Some of you
00:07:14.600 ask why does the pardon date back 10 years? And the simple, easy answer is, is that's when
00:07:24.280 coincidentally, coincidentally, I say, I'm not going to make any accusations here, but coincidentally,
00:07:33.120 the COVID-19, the COVID testing, the Wuhan Institute of Virology started to take place.
00:07:46.500 Sort of interesting.
00:07:50.140 Now, Fauci, of course, denied gain-of-function research, denied they ever took part in it,
00:07:57.880 Changed his answer a few times
00:08:00.580 But allegedly that's when the gain-of-function research started
00:08:03.980 In that 2014 time period
00:08:09.400 To which the pardon is dated January 1st, 2014
00:08:14.340 Giving Fauci full immunity
00:08:16.840 To come out and talk about the crimes he committed
00:08:20.520 He's got a pardon
00:08:22.400 Yet the nutty witch doctor
00:08:25.880 decided he didn't want to answer any questions he doesn't feel the need to answer any questions
00:08:33.380 but that's where the pardon gets a little dicey because of that pardon he's inclined
00:08:38.800 to answer those questions now senator paul who's the chairman of the committee found the privilege
00:08:44.360 of the fifth amendment unsupported as applied to the question pertaining to the period of the
00:08:49.860 pardon directed fauci to answer but of course fauci still refused to do so paul having overruled
00:08:55.860 the privilege of the Fifth Amendment assertion by Fauci directed him to answer the questions
00:09:00.820 and put him in the committee in order to provide testimony on the matters of the consideration.
00:09:06.180 Now, this is according to the contempt resolution, which has been put forward by Rand Paul.
00:09:17.680 We're going to take a quick break here, folks. We're live tonight for The Great America Show.
00:09:20.440 There's so much more to get to. We're going to get to all the news of the day,
00:09:23.980 the growing calls for John Thune to step down.
00:09:27.280 Is Mark Wayne Mullen in deep trouble?
00:09:29.120 We're going to tell you about that.
00:09:30.640 We're going to take a quick break here.
00:09:31.980 Less than 60 seconds.
00:09:32.900 We're coming right back.
00:09:33.600 Let us know, as always, where you're tuned in from.
00:09:35.620 And if you're enjoying The Great America Show,
00:09:37.340 we'll be right back.
00:09:38.060 Don't touch that dial.
00:09:45.140 Thanks, everybody, for staying with us live tonight
00:09:46.780 from The Great America Show.
00:09:47.740 As always, let us know where you're tuned in from.
00:09:49.260 If you're enjoying The Great America Show,
00:09:50.880 we appreciate each and every one of you guys
00:09:53.420 who are live with us tonight. And as I say, those of you who join us on the good old-fashioned OG
00:09:59.680 audio. So going back to Anthony Fauci's legal problems, the Senate Homeland Security and
00:10:07.440 Government Affairs Committee is going to set a vote on this to hold him in contempt Thursday.
00:10:15.560 Now, as I said, Rand Paul argues that Fauci's Fifth Amendment protections no longer applied
00:10:20.880 because of his presidential pardon, and Fauci also waived any remaining privilege by delivering
00:10:26.020 an open testimony, where, of course, he grandstanded. Now, as I said, he refused to
00:10:32.700 answer any questions, and Rand Paul says this now amounts to obstruction of a congressional
00:10:39.000 investigation. The other thing I think that sort of may be interesting is the statute of
00:10:48.060 limitations. Now, that committee that will be voting, I think it's only important to look at
00:10:52.780 the Republican side, with the exception of maybe one Democrat, is chaired up by Rand Paul on that
00:10:58.580 committee, Ron Johnson, James Lankford, Rick Scott, Senator Josh Hawley, Bernie Moreno,
00:11:04.780 Jeremy Ernst, who's outgoing, and Ashley Moody on the Democrat side. That maybe one vote you can
00:11:10.400 pick off is John Fetterman, who's been more of a consistent Republican vote, I think, than some of
00:11:16.300 the Republicans in the Senate, including senators, John Thune. James Lankford's another one who I
00:11:26.380 think has been nothing but a total rhino, total nuisance, total rhino. But we'll see. I don't see
00:11:37.000 how any of them could vote against it, considering what we've seen in the past with the standard set.
00:11:46.300 by the Senate.
00:11:49.660 Like I mentioned, the sham January 6th committee,
00:11:53.360 which we dealt with for years,
00:11:56.420 that called people in, called people in, called people in.
00:12:00.420 Bannon doesn't show up.
00:12:02.100 Navarro says, screw you.
00:12:04.640 And they picked him up in an airport and put him in leg shackles.
00:12:08.760 So we hope that the same standard is applied
00:12:13.960 now that the Republicans are in power?
00:12:20.060 Because this, I think, will play a big role also in the midterm elections.
00:12:28.540 And I say this all the time.
00:12:29.880 It's, you know, how as a Republican can you ask people to vote for you
00:12:39.540 when you literally can't show what you've done.
00:12:47.440 You know, it's like being a politician and going to fundraiser,
00:12:51.080 you know, asking people to give you money and they say,
00:12:52.940 well, what have you done?
00:12:53.820 What have you done to change my life?
00:12:56.160 What have you done to make this country a better place?
00:12:59.340 Can't answer the question.
00:13:00.960 You shouldn't get a dollar.
00:13:03.200 So the same pertains here with the voter going to the ballot.
00:13:09.540 in November. What have you done that you promised you were going to do?
00:13:16.420 We overwhelmingly elected you in the 2024 election.
00:13:23.520 What have you done
00:13:25.060 to show us that you're worthy for our vote again?
00:13:32.240 I think this might be a massive selling point.
00:13:34.820 both Republicans and Democrats in kind
00:13:38.140 don't like Anthony Fauci.
00:13:48.220 I don't think it's a red or blue issue
00:13:50.720 that he ruined people's lives.
00:13:53.020 I don't think it's a red or blue issue
00:13:54.760 that he destroyed businesses,
00:13:57.260 destroyed the lives of children.
00:14:01.280 So this can be a jump-off point,
00:14:03.780 I think, for the Republicans.
00:14:04.820 to say, look, Rand Paul ran on getting to the bottom
00:14:11.460 of Fauci's criminal cover-up.
00:14:17.200 We held him in contempt of Congress, and now he's being perp-walked.
00:14:22.320 What the American people want.
00:14:24.520 The American people wanted retribution.
00:14:27.320 Now, whatever word you want to use to describe it,
00:14:30.220 retaliation, retribution, is what the Democrats say it was.
00:14:33.720 I call it truth, justice and the American way. It's what they wanted. It's the reason why they overwhelmingly supported President Trump in 2024. It's the reason why they overwhelmingly supported a Republican House of Representatives. It's the reason why they overwhelmingly supported a Senate.
00:14:55.380 the people want results and i think this is a good a point for them to get off so let's let's
00:15:04.400 move on for this because anthony fauci makes me sick i want to talk about something that's
00:15:09.440 really interesting and it's the senate race in texas and right before the show i
00:15:15.200 had put out a tweet on this because i find it so interesting every poll from this month
00:15:21.240 has Tallarico beating Ken Paxton.
00:15:29.260 You've got the TSU, YouGov, Texas State University,
00:15:35.140 has Tallarico up by two.
00:15:37.380 You've got Fox News from 23rd to the 27th beating him by three.
00:15:43.420 And you've got the TPOR of Tallarico beating Paxton by five.
00:15:51.240 And then back in June, you've got New York Times, Siena, Atatai, University of Texas, Paxton Plus One, Qantas Insight, Paxton Plus Two.
00:16:02.080 I happen to think it's way more than that of Paxton Up.
00:16:06.580 So anyway, so the reason I find this so interesting is because I often recite and I don't get paid by Calci.
00:16:14.280 Calci doesn't sponsor the show, but I love Calci because it's a way to see where people are putting their money.
00:16:21.240 I always say, put your money where your mouth is. Talk is cheap. Say whatever you want. But
00:16:27.320 as we know, pollsters are not held to any standard these days. Pollsters are not held to any sort of
00:16:35.320 retaliation or whatever, like I say, whatever you want to call it.
00:16:39.680 So I always go and look and see what Calci is doing. So every poll this month has got
00:16:45.120 Talarico up, or as people call him, Tala Frico. So I go over to CalShe, because I like to see
00:16:52.540 what the people are putting their money on. And it paints a far, far, far different picture.
00:16:59.940 If you look there on the screen, it's about 7.2, almost $7.3 million in volume moving on people
00:17:07.940 betting on this race of who will win.
00:17:12.920 And if you want to go ahead and buy for Paxton,
00:17:16.180 you've got to pay 55 cents on the dollar.
00:17:18.580 So how this works is if you think Paxton's going to win,
00:17:21.740 you'd bet yes.
00:17:23.180 55 cents.
00:17:24.080 If Paxton wins, it pays out a dollar.
00:17:26.600 So you're getting 45 cents on your dollar.
00:17:28.020 53% chance.
00:17:32.160 Far different picture
00:17:33.400 than what the pollsters are painting at.
00:17:41.440 And I say this all the time.
00:17:42.700 I think it's hysterical.
00:17:44.740 If these pollsters really believe in their work,
00:17:46.880 show us.
00:17:48.020 Put your money where your mouth is
00:17:49.460 if you believe the bullshit
00:17:52.220 that you're spewing to the American people
00:17:54.020 because they don't.
00:17:55.900 It's the same thing that happened with the Massey race.
00:17:59.440 I looked at the polls
00:18:00.660 and there was pollsters who actually came out
00:18:02.420 and had massey ahead like there's no shot he's beaten the trump endorsement there's no shot
00:18:12.160 and i see this the same exact way and it's why i continue to not believe the polls and whenever i
00:18:19.660 question a poll i go see what the people on calci are betting on i like to see what the people
00:18:25.120 believe what the real pulse is so i just thought that was interesting and like i say i always
00:18:31.680 talk about calcium here because i think it's a really good tool to see where the people
00:18:38.660 are putting their money we're taking one more quick break here folks live on that tonight on
00:18:44.580 the great america show there's so much more to get to uh mark wayne mullen is he in hot water
00:18:49.400 john thune the calls are coming in for him to resign and i think they're long long long overdue
00:18:56.880 so stay with us folks we're coming right back in less than 60 seconds let us know where you're
00:19:01.120 tuned in from. We're coming right back. I promise. Thanks everybody for staying with us here to live
00:19:10.780 tonight for the great America show GW five to good afternoon. Patriots from San Diego. Appreciate
00:19:15.160 you tuning in, Jim. Good evening, everyone from peaceful Southeast, uh, Texas. Glad you're back,
00:19:21.520 John. I appreciate you joining us and, uh, I'm glad I'm back too. I hate taking off from work.
00:19:26.740 I really do. It's not fun. Fauci deserves to die in the same torturous way he did to those puppies
00:19:34.080 in the cage with sand fleas. Yeah, I mean, that doesn't even, we didn't even touch on the issue
00:19:39.800 of what we did with the beagles and that stuff really, that one drives me nuts. The testing on
00:19:45.060 animals absolutely grinds my gears. I mean, I've spoken about my love for animals on this show,
00:19:50.640 I think many times, and especially for dogs, um, I like dogs better than I like people.
00:19:56.280 Um, that, that's a whole, whole different issue, but you're absolutely right.
00:20:01.920 He does deserve to, to be, and I say this all the time.
00:20:06.880 And, you know, I got a lot of friends who were in the prison system working, you know,
00:20:11.900 corrections officers and so on and so forth.
00:20:13.360 And the way that animal abusers are treated, women abusers are treated, pedophiles are treated is far different than how the average criminal is treated in jail, is what I'm told by my friends who work in the correctional system.
00:20:35.140 And it's, I think rightfully so, takes a certain kind of scumbag to prey on animals.
00:20:43.360 Fall girl, a delight to have you with us, Jim.
00:20:46.580 So these pollsters are trying to convince everyone the vote will be controlled by the illegal immigrants.
00:20:51.480 Yeah, I don't know what they're trying to convince, Jim.
00:20:53.340 I don't know.
00:20:55.380 It's like they lie for whatever reason.
00:21:01.180 It's like it makes zero sense, right?
00:21:05.640 Because you're only as good as your word, I guess, the easiest way to put it, right?
00:21:10.880 And your credibility.
00:21:11.620 But these pollsters get paid and get clout on being lying scumbags.
00:21:19.360 So I don't really know what the reason is for them.
00:21:23.920 At the end of the day on election night, that doesn't make sense.
00:21:28.040 At the end of election night, when a winner is declared or election week or month or whatever,
00:21:34.460 whenever they decide the election, Texas should be the same night.
00:21:37.980 and Ken Paxton does come out the victor,
00:21:41.780 what satisfaction do these pollsters have on being wrong?
00:21:48.360 We've all watched what happened in 2016
00:21:51.680 where the polls tried to keep people silenced.
00:21:55.500 They tried to keep them home.
00:21:56.600 Nobody's fallen for that crap anymore.
00:21:59.720 Nobody's fallen for the fake polls
00:22:01.800 to suppress the Republican vote,
00:22:03.920 to suppress the MAGA vote.
00:22:05.960 so maybe that's why they're doing a gym
00:22:09.040 I don't know
00:22:09.780 but it's so utterly
00:22:12.900 stupid
00:22:13.740 RBKKS88
00:22:17.980 long time no sell
00:22:20.320 you're talking to your other friends there
00:22:21.980 fall girl, delight to have you with us
00:22:23.560 Talafrico needs to lead a men's gay pride
00:22:26.720 march off a very steep cliff
00:22:28.600 in the Grand Canyon
00:22:29.480 I haven't followed anything
00:22:31.980 that that weirdo's been doing, and I try not to,
00:22:38.340 because it's better for our mental health.
00:22:41.360 He'll be gone soon enough.
00:22:43.740 Like I said, for anyone who thinks Paxton's losing that race,
00:22:48.380 clip this episode, August 4th, 627 on the East Coast.
00:22:54.620 There's no chance in heck that Paxton's losing that race.
00:22:59.600 And we're going to see an election night.
00:23:01.000 And we're going to be here together on election night laughing at these idiots.
00:23:05.080 Such a joke.
00:23:05.720 Now, any other race we could talk about.
00:23:08.820 But that one, there's no shot.
00:23:10.940 The people of Texas are going to send Ken Paxton packing.
00:23:16.080 Sorry to say it for all those who are upset.
00:23:19.580 A growing number of influential conservatives on social media are calling for the ouster.
00:23:25.720 DHS Secretary Mark Wayne Mullen, after his comments he made over the weekend,
00:23:29.960 were seen as a capitulation on immigration.
00:23:33.360 Criticism has intensified this week
00:23:35.420 after Politico reported the opposition
00:23:37.380 to Mullen extended it into the Trump administration itself.
00:23:41.380 According to the report, Mullen is facing resistance
00:23:43.460 not only from outspoken conservative voices,
00:23:45.560 but also from its side, the White House.
00:23:48.920 Quote, it takes a lot to unite this administration
00:23:51.140 around a cohesive point of view,
00:23:53.920 an unnamed senior administration official told Politico.
00:23:57.940 The person added, Mullen deserves credit
00:23:59.680 where credit is due, everyone agrees he sucks donkey butt. This is from this unnamed source
00:24:07.000 inside the Trump White House. According to the report, there's also growing consent says Mullen
00:24:14.060 is more eager to please his Democrat Party critics than to deliver on immigration agenda
00:24:18.900 that President Trump campaigned on. Latest criticism of the former GOP senator sparked
00:24:25.160 on Saturday after Mullen spoke about an immigration reform during the National Governance Association
00:24:29.320 summer meeting in Oklahoma City.
00:24:31.820 During the event, he said there was difference between illegal immigrants pursuing legal
00:24:35.400 status and jobs, and those were simply in this country illegally.
00:24:39.440 I don't necessarily agree with him on that.
00:24:42.360 If you're in this country illegally, whether you're here to work, whether you're here to
00:24:45.040 cause crime, you're here illegally.
00:24:48.140 You're a criminal.
00:24:50.080 Make no mistake about that.
00:24:53.500 And I think Mark Wayne Mullen should have acknowledged that.
00:24:57.480 certainly seems he's going down the wrong path. Now, uh, could he correct himself? He certainly
00:25:03.820 should, and he should certainly do so, uh, before the midterm elections, because that is also on
00:25:11.740 the ballot. Now, one of the names that's being floated by, um, some people out there to take
00:25:19.960 over should Mullen be ousted is none other than Bill Pulte. You know, the ODNI. I literally just
00:25:28.640 read this report before coming on the show. So when we get off here, I'm going to text Bill Pulte,
00:25:32.620 see if he's up for the job. But he does got to get his rear end in gear. That's Mullen,
00:25:37.720 not Pulte. Pulte's did a hell of a job. For a young guy making a name for himself, Pulte has
00:25:43.300 done a heck of a job over at Fannie Mae and over at the ODNI. Started to clear house a little bit.
00:25:55.960 Fixed Fannie Mae. Total mess. President Trump gives him so much credit for doing so, which he
00:26:01.780 did. And he deserves. So Mullen, I think, has a very, very short window to get it together
00:26:11.540 and to change his tone to one of the Trump administration and one of the America First
00:26:19.080 MAGA voters. Very, very short window. Tennessee Congressman Andy Ogle has unleashed pure fire on
00:26:25.940 the Senate Majority Leader John Thune, demanding the South Dakota RINO finally put the Save
00:26:30.840 America Act on the floor or
00:26:32.720 resign.
00:26:35.260 Ogles says there's zero good reason
00:26:36.920 for Dune's failure to put the Save America Act
00:26:38.940 on the floor. He says this is how
00:26:40.920 we get the votes.
00:26:42.720 Debating it. He can either
00:26:44.800 do the right thing
00:26:45.780 or he can resign.
00:26:48.700 In a recent interview,
00:26:51.160 Ogles
00:26:51.660 voiced his frustration
00:26:53.920 for Rhinoth John Dune.
00:26:56.400 You guys in the House have been
00:26:58.300 a little frustrated with how the Senate is holding
00:27:00.340 is handling this whole situation. Have you guys found some common ground here or is there still
00:27:06.860 a lot of tension there? Well, you know, I would say we're a lot frustrated, quite frankly.
00:27:12.720 Senator Thune has the opportunity to put this on the House floor. They can do the talking
00:27:17.960 filibuster. Look, in 1964, the Civil Rights Act was passed because of the talking filibuster.
00:27:23.960 In 1965, the Voting Rights Act was passed because of the talking filibuster.
00:27:29.760 The Dodd-Frank bill was passed because of the talking filibuster.
00:27:33.340 So there's a precedent here when you have monumental, transformative pieces of legislation for the Senate to use this procedural maneuver to get it done.
00:27:43.280 So, John Thune, do your job, get it done, or get out of the way.
00:27:47.900 President Trump has weighed in a lot on this.
00:27:50.640 What is the latest we're hearing from him and what he wants the Senate to do?
00:27:55.440 He's frustrated just like I am, just like the American people are, that they see the
00:28:00.140 Senate not doing their job.
00:28:01.940 And look, this isn't a controversial issue when it comes to save America.
00:28:06.700 Again, over 80 percent of Americans say, let's get it done.
00:28:11.160 So there's really no excuse for John Thune at all.
00:28:14.120 Yeah.
00:28:14.300 And what are the arguments being made from Republicans for not moving forward?
00:28:18.500 I know our listeners are frustrated.
00:28:21.000 What are they saying?
00:28:22.380 To be honest with you, I have not heard a good answer from the Senate as to why they're not moving it, aside from the fact that John Thune has said he doesn't have the votes.
00:28:32.720 Well, guess what?
00:28:33.720 You're the leader.
00:28:34.940 Bring it up.
00:28:36.100 Put it on the Senate floor.
00:28:37.760 Call a vote and let everybody go on record.
00:28:40.640 And once that's been done, do the talking filibuster.
00:28:43.600 Like I said, you have historical precedent to get it done.
00:28:47.520 He has a path forward. He's simply choosing not to do it.
00:28:51.560 And again, the American people rightfully should be frustrated by that.
00:28:55.740 And frustrated we are. Do your job or get lost.
00:29:01.220 Ah, look who it is. Vanessa Broussard says hello.
00:29:05.240 Hi, Vanessa.
00:29:07.100 What do we got here? Mullen probably didn't make himself popular in the first place with his idiot J6 comments.
00:29:13.020 Yeah, those were just so beyond stupid.
00:29:17.520 I don't know. I questioned from the beginning why Mullen even took this job. There's literally
00:29:22.120 no upside to him taking this job. What's next for him? Does he run for governor of Oklahoma? Yeah,
00:29:29.060 he could have done that anyway. But with this being this tough of a job, there's literally no
00:29:33.660 upside to him taking this job. Made no sense. Ken Fauci is a walking POS. Ken, don't be so nice to
00:29:40.340 him, please. John Thune is standing in for Mitch McConnell's playing Mr. Freeze. Mitch McConnell,
00:29:46.440 Where has Mitch McConnell been?
00:29:49.760 McConnell taught Dune everything he knows.
00:29:52.280 Yeah, he literally is a carbon copy.
00:30:01.620 To the T.
00:30:03.540 Maybe missing the glasses.
00:30:05.960 Fauci is a narcissistic criminal liar.
00:30:07.900 Yeah, who's never been held accountable, by the way.
00:30:11.500 Never been held accountable.
00:30:14.680 Dune is the worst.
00:30:15.720 it's obvious he's getting bought out. Why else would he refuse to support the Save America Act?
00:30:19.900 He's a greedy pig. It's like all the others. Yeah. And you know what? He's another one who's a total
00:30:23.860 narcissist, a total, total egomaniac, total egomaniac who thinks that he's more popular
00:30:32.320 than, you know, and holier than thou. Guy's a total joke. Good evening from Summers Point,
00:30:38.040 New Jersey. Good to see you this evening. Thanks, Chris, for, for tuning in and a delight to have
00:30:42.640 you with us. It's great to be back to work. It's taken me a little bit of time to get back in the
00:30:47.740 flow of things. And, uh, it's, it's not easy, but we're making do we're making doing, uh, we're here
00:30:54.880 and we're live. And, uh, like I said, I appreciate each and every one of you guys tuning in with us
00:30:59.420 and I appreciate every one of you guys who, uh, hung tight with us, um, while I was on vacation.
00:31:06.420 We do have some interesting news before we wrap up tonight. Rhino Senator Susan Collins is
00:31:11.260 Apparently a no vote on Todd Blanche.
00:31:14.700 McConnell's still out.
00:31:15.660 Murkowski declined to comment on whether she will vote for Blanche.
00:31:19.440 Senator Bill Cassidy still hasn't committed to voting for Blanche either.
00:31:23.340 Hmm.
00:31:24.880 She says, while I believe Mr. Blanche is a capable lawyer,
00:31:27.440 the Department of Justice has become increasingly political.
00:31:30.300 Mr. Blanche has taken several actions that further enroded the Department of Independence.
00:31:36.100 And this is the basis for my vote to oppose his confirmation.
00:31:39.320 Wow
00:31:41.480 Collins points to the approval of Trump's audit immunity deal
00:31:47.320 And anti-weaponization fund
00:31:48.620 The promise to anti-abortion groups
00:31:50.720 To try to prohibit the mailing of abortion medications nationwide
00:31:55.840 Attempts to indict Senators Mark Kelly and Elisa Slotkin
00:31:59.900 And the opposition from 1,200 former DOJ employees
00:32:05.480 I'd almost ask you if you're up in Maine
00:32:09.460 To just vote for the Democrat
00:32:10.660 I'm so sick and tired of Susan Collins
00:32:13.600 I'm so sick and tired of Lisa Murkowski
00:32:15.980 And honestly when you need these people
00:32:18.040 They're nowhere to be found
00:32:20.640 Rhino
00:32:21.900 Through and through
00:32:23.760 Susan Collins is such a joke
00:32:26.780 Talk about a grandstanding sociopath
00:32:30.980 There you have it
00:32:32.700 yet another one
00:32:36.740 makes me sick to my stomach
00:32:40.120 Collins needs to be re-elected in Maine
00:32:42.940 good luck with that
00:32:43.800 yeah, fall girl
00:32:44.560 like I said
00:32:47.200 I'd almost ask everybody in Maine
00:32:49.460 just go vote for the Democrat
00:32:50.460 what difference does it make
00:32:52.140 who said that? Hillary Clinton
00:32:53.140 what difference does it make?
00:32:56.280 really, what difference does it make?
00:32:57.700 if you're not there on a key vote
00:32:59.300 when we need you
00:33:00.120 what difference does it make
00:33:02.260 if there's a Democrat there.
00:33:05.040 We continue to support these people,
00:33:06.620 and I'm sure the NRSC will go ahead
00:33:09.500 and dump in tens of millions of dollars
00:33:11.640 for the female Mitch McConnell
00:33:15.480 and Susan Collins.
00:33:18.280 I mean, what a joke.
00:33:20.380 What a...
00:33:21.760 I'll keep it nice.
00:33:24.000 We're going to try to be nice.
00:33:27.900 Well, on that note, folks,
