poll, folks, conducted February 3rd to the 16th, legislators thanked President Trump with a 70%

increase in their approval ratings since January 17th, three days before President Trump's inauguration.

Of course, one need not break out the champagne flutes yet. After all, the approval rating could

hardly have fallen any worse than it was. On January 17th, the Gallup poll showed that Congress had just a

17% approval rating. In the latest poll, that number's at 29%. So I often say on this show, I'm

not sure who has a higher approval rating, Congress or the FBI. The FBI may be past Congress at that 29%,

but they're making great strides. Now, it is possible for the Republicans to make greater gains there.

President Obama carried Congress from a 20% approval rating in December of 2008 to a high of almost 40%

President Trump's announced this week that Maine will lose federal funding if it keeps defying his

executive order, which allows men to play a women's sport. The president issuing his message

before a packed room of Republican governors last night in Washington, D.C., saying, quote,

we're not going to give them any federal funding, none whatsoever, until they clean that up.

Meaning, get men the hell out of women's sports. I think it's only right. Just before that meeting

yesterday, President Trump had with the Republican governors in D.C., Governor Ron DeSantis and his

wife were invited up for the meeting. Now, it was reported and said that DeSantis brought his wife

so that she can see Trump and maybe seek out an endorsement from him for a potential governor run,

a gubernatorial run for the great state of Florida. But in very Trump-like fashion,

Trump doesn't like to be bullied or any of that stuff. President Trump put out a statement before

even seeing DeSantis and his wife saying that he wholeheartedly backs Congressman Byron Donalds

for a gubernatorial run for Florida in 2026. So President Trump not endorsing Casey DeSantis,

and now Byron Donalds has yet to declare his candidacy, but President Trump throwing his support

behind Byron Donalds as his bull in the fight. And Marxist New York Governor Kathy Hochul says she

will not remove New York Mayor Eric Adams, quote, at this time, but will instead try and limit his

authority, saying, quote, after careful consideration, I've determined that I will not commence removal

proceedings at this time. My strong belief is that the will of the voters in the supremacy and
