Schumer and the Democrats previously shut down the government because they wanted to give illegal

Schumer said just moments ago that a proposed new plan to end the shutdown, he's got it. It's just

not a good one. Senate Democrats are now proposing a one-year extension of Obamacare and the Affordable

Care Act ACA subsidies, which are set to expire in January. That one-year extension would put them into

Democrats are ready to clear the way to quickly pass a government funding bill that includes

health care affordability. Now, all of a sudden, he's ready to negotiate. Leader Thune just needs to
