The Great America Show - GOP INVESTIGATORS HAVE THE NEXT 90-120 DAYS TO HOLD THE BIDENS & DEEP STATE ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR RAMPANT CORRUPTION SAYS JOHN SOLOMON

00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody. Welcome to The Great America Show. I'm Lou Dobbs, and it is great to have

00:00:05.100 you with us. Today, we'll take a look at more than a few questions about American life and

00:00:10.520 culture, politics, and economics that very few folks want to talk about with you or even

00:00:16.500 mention. That's actually what we do here most of the time, isn't it? That's what we do as

00:00:22.080 we pursue truth, justice, and work hard to preserve the American way of life in the face

00:00:27.820 of retaliation from the increasingly hostile, aggressive enemies of our great nation, foreign 1.00

00:00:33.840 and domestic, all conspiring against this great republic. So let's get to it, starting with

00:00:40.060 five cops killing a man in Memphis, Tennessee, as horrific as any murder we've heard about.

00:00:46.880 I don't know a thing about Tyree Nichols other than what's been reported. Five men, five,

00:00:53.520 killed him. And Nichols stood six foot three and weighed only 145 pounds. He had Crohn's disease.

00:01:02.820 No one claims he had a weapon of any kind. And they killed him. It's all on video, vivid and

00:01:09.740 sickening. And now comes the Marxist left clatter in the media. Even though all involved were black, 0.86

00:01:17.240 CNN contributor and activist Van Jones says it may still be driven by racism. Really? It also could

00:01:24.900 have been bloodlust, I believe. Why does the left not want to acknowledge five sadistic men without

00:01:30.780 conscience killed this man, Tyree Nichols? Another commentator said it was about white supremacist 0.89

00:01:37.160 policing. Well, there's a problem with that. The police officers were all black and the chief of the

00:01:42.960 Memphis Police Department is black. A black woman runs the department. Note, most of those commentators 0.99

00:01:49.880 didn't mention that their livelihoods and standing depend on proselytizing race, pushing CRT, 0.82

00:01:57.960 critical race theory, and EID, and ESG, and pushing systemic racism as dominant in American society.

00:02:07.060 They dare not speak of individual responsibility. Acknowledge that evil comes in many forms and

00:02:13.620 shapes. And in that horrific moment in Memphis, pure evil destroyed a precious life. You will also

00:02:20.900 hear other excuses for the actions of these men. And among those excuses, that if Nichols hadn't

00:02:26.640 resisted, he'd be alive. Really? That's an excuse for five police officers to beat a man to death?

00:02:34.400 America is now caught in a vicious collapse of consciousness and conscience. A willful denial

00:02:41.980 of individual responsibility for our actions. A refusal to see events and actions for what they

00:02:47.920 really are. Not accept outright lies from our politicians of both parties, nor their specious

00:02:54.740 rationalizations of why immense economic power always wins against working men and women and their

00:03:01.440 families and small businesses. Why the two largest teachers unions in the country can effectively shut

00:03:07.960 down our public schools in a pandemic, but can't be held to account for the monumental damages to our

00:03:14.880 children's development and education that were the consequence of their demands. Why do we not have 0.56

00:03:21.440 answers to why our government and economy isn't working for our middle class and all who aspire to it? 0.58

00:03:27.680 Why is there no accountability for corruption in America anymore? And how can President Biden's

00:03:35.100 classified document scandal get progressively worse? And his son's business dealings remain

00:03:41.440 uninvestigated after more than four years? Those are just some of the big questions facing us

00:03:48.080 and this great nation. Our guest today is one of America's great journalists. He's in the business

00:03:53.960 of answers. He's the founder and executive editor of Just the News, John Solomon. John, great to have

00:04:00.660 you with us. And let's start with the Biden presidency, riven with corruption. Can Biden avoid these scandals

00:04:06.680 getting even worse? Yeah, probably not. Listen, I think we've had the warning signs of what the Biden

00:04:12.120 family was really about and the conflicts of interest and the parents of conflicts of interest that they

00:04:17.340 were going to pose if they ever got control of the White House, going all the way back to 18 and 19,

00:04:21.540 starting with Peter Schweitzer's great book, then the reporting I did at the Hill, then what we learned

00:04:26.160 in the impeachment scandal, and then everything we learned from the Hunter Biden laptop. This was a

00:04:31.440 family that so long, for so long, pursued foreign money to enrich itself. Sometimes with countries that

00:04:39.240 we have the greatest, gravest concerns about China, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, among the places where

00:04:46.140 Hunter Biden pursued wealth on behalf of his family. And it was inevitably going to come to this point,

00:04:51.860 there would be a moment where an action was taken, or a discovery was made. And we'd all go, hey,

00:04:57.380 wait a second, is this because they took the money from China, or they took the money from Ukraine,

00:05:01.340 or they took the money from Russia? And we've reached that point. Now, these documents existing

00:05:06.600 in the home where Hunter Biden spent a part of his life, declaring it as official residence

00:05:12.040 in 18 and 19. The Penn Biden Center, where Joe Biden got his $911,000 payday for basically a no-show

00:05:20.300 professorship. Classified documents residing in those two locations, both locations, the beneficiary

00:05:27.340 of China money. In the case of the Penn Biden Center, University of Pennsylvania, got $67.6 million

00:05:33.340 of China money, $47.7 million of it, while Joe Biden was working as their guest professor. And then

00:05:40.700 Hunter Biden, while living at the Wilmington, Delaware residence, pursued that CEFC China energy

00:05:47.240 deal in 2017 to 2018. That's the one where there's the talk of the big guy and Joe Biden getting 10% of

00:05:53.160 the deal. That's where two of the principal Chinese executives end up getting arrested, one in China,

00:05:59.180 one in the United States. And it's where the Biden family walks away with some nice wealth.

00:06:03.340 Including a 3.2 carat diamond and a $5 million, no interest, forgivable loan that was forgiven by

00:06:10.600 the Chinese. Basically free cash for the Biden family. The documents residing in those two 0.97

00:06:16.860 locations, given the history of that family, were inevitably going to lead to the questions that

00:06:21.600 now James Comer, Jim Jordan, and others have begun to ask. And those questions are going to come fast

00:06:29.120 and furious now because the committees are underway. I want to ask you, though, about why we're having so

00:06:36.460 much trouble, in your judgment, getting a handle on what is happening with these documents. These

00:06:44.460 documents, it's straightforward. The man has, what is it, four residences, four homes, including

00:06:51.220 vacation homes. They've looked at two of them. I believe that's correct. They've looked at the Penn

00:06:56.820 Biden Center. But there is also the University of Delaware. That's right. With a tremendous number

00:07:04.740 of boxes of sealed documents that they're not going to release until two years after he leaves

00:07:12.000 office. Yeah. This is, that's fine. There's a, why don't we look and see how much money they've

00:07:19.200 gotten from China? Because there's no reason for a U.S. Senator have sealed documents sitting in a

00:07:25.420 university when the purpose of having that person have an affiliation with that university, probably,

00:07:32.380 well, one would assume, is education, which means you have to have knowledge and information with which

00:07:37.520 to work with students. What in the world, how corrupt is the University of Delaware? Well, what good is a

00:07:43.240 library if you can't check out any of the information and look at it, right? It's a library without any

00:07:47.180 public value. And it basically becomes a parking place for Joe Biden to keep his documents away

00:07:52.340 from us while he's president. And I think that's the sad thing. The idea of a library is great if

00:07:56.540 you can actually access the documents. That's what the archives are about. That's what many of the

00:08:01.280 historical libraries of former presidents and former senators allow us to do, to go in and research

00:08:07.200 and learn things. Joe Biden does the opposite. He uses this library as a parking place to keep us

00:08:12.160 from finding out what went on in his 50-year career in government until, well, after he's out of it.

00:08:17.180 And so I think there's a lot of frustration there, but there's a lot that can be done. Congress has

00:08:21.120 the power of subpoena. The House Republicans are now in charge. They have a motive and an interest

00:08:26.240 to look into it. I suspect we're going to learn a lot more about the flow of money,

00:08:30.660 about what may be in those documents. And I think that the early investigation is going to focus on

00:08:36.960 three questions. The first question is, at the locations where we now know classified information

00:08:41.820 was improperly stored by Joe Biden, Penn Biden Center, his home, maybe other locations.

00:08:46.700 Who had access to those homes at that time? Did any foreign powers visit those homes? Did any of

00:08:51.680 Hunter Biden's business partners meet at that home or have meetings at the home? That'll be the first

00:08:57.820 question. And because the Biden family claims it doesn't have records, the Congress is going to have

00:09:03.120 to turn to the Secret Service and see what records they may have. Same thing with the Security Service

00:09:07.840 at the University of Pennsylvania to see who had access to that event. The second part of this is,

00:09:14.280 was the Chinese targeting of money to the University of Pennsylvania to Hunter Biden part of an influence

00:09:20.060 operation? Were they trying to get their hooks into a family that might become the next president of the 0.50

00:09:25.100 United States? And did that money and did the people around the Biden family have relationships with

00:09:31.020 intelligence community? Were they trying to compromise the Biden family to get something to the

00:09:37.520 benefit of China? And then the third question, which already has erupted into public with some

00:09:42.880 reporting we've done at Just the News, is what actions did the Biden family take or the University

00:09:49.420 of Pennsylvania take that benefited China to the detriment of U.S. national security? And we know a

00:09:55.860 couple of them already because of the reporting we've done. Let's start with what we know about the

00:10:00.200 University of Pennsylvania and the Biden administration. We mentioned the money that UPenn got,

00:10:04.840 $67.6 million from Chinese sources, $47.7 million of it while Joe Biden was getting his $911,000 payday

00:10:13.280 there. After Joe Biden leaves the university and becomes president, the university and its faculty

00:10:20.020 wage a lobbying campaign to stop the FBI's primary counterintelligence program trying to root out

00:10:27.060 Chinese spies in U.S. academia. It was called the China Initiative. Chris Wray, the FBI director,

00:10:33.580 gave a speech at the Reagan Library just a year ago saying it was such an important program and the

00:10:39.100 threat of Chinese espionage in academia was very severe. The Justice Department had a web page that

00:10:45.500 boasted about all of the espionage that had been thwarted by this program. Within two weeks of the

00:10:51.140 University of Pennsylvania beginning a pressure campaign, putting out an open letter to the Justice

00:10:55.260 Department saying, shut down this program. It's racist to look for Chinese spies by Chinese origin. 0.97

00:11:02.100 That's kind of a strange thing. What other way would you look at Chinese spies? The Attorney General

00:11:07.480 of the United States, Merrick Garland, shut down that program over the objections of the FBI over

00:11:12.660 the speech that Chris Wray had just given saying the program was so important. So that's one big action

00:11:18.280 that's been taken that we know benefited China and was carried out by one of Joe Biden's enrichers,

00:11:25.560 the University of Pennsylvania, which by the way, got some of its money from China. How many more decisions

00:11:31.080 like that have occurred that we don't know about or that we're going to find out about? That's the

00:11:36.580 third rail of the investigation that Republicans have going right now. And that is plenty to work

00:11:41.820 on. And amongst the questions that arise, why hasn't somebody paid attention to the fact that

00:11:48.460 oil from the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserves ends up in the hands of the Chinese? That's right. 0.96

00:11:55.900 What in the world is that? I mean, that's sort of in your face, quid pro quo.

00:12:00.180 It was.

00:12:01.020 As we look at his posture on China and Taiwan, it is really, at the very least, weak-kneed,

00:12:10.700 at the very worst, accommodating and complicit.

00:12:13.560 Well, Lou, in the last 24 hours, we just got more word that makes a lot of people worried

00:12:20.000 about China security even more alarmed. The Biden White House told us last night that it will veto

00:12:26.000 any legislation that the Republican Congress might pass that would ban future sales of oil from the

00:12:33.560 SBR and the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to China. Now, why would he do that? Here's an interesting

00:12:38.140 thing. That law, that bill that was in the House, got a lot of Democrat supports. It's a bipartisan

00:12:43.840 issue. Both Republicans and Democrats believe it's a good idea to ban China and other enemies from

00:12:49.320 getting our oil from our Strategic Petroleum Reserve. And yet, Joe Biden, in the last 24 hours,

00:12:54.660 has announced to his White House he'll veto that legislation if it gets passed by both chambers of

00:12:59.540 Congress. That's a head-scratcher. And again, like going back to 2019, when we learned that Joe Biden

00:13:06.420 fired the Ukraine prosecutor that was investigating his son's company, like what we just heard about

00:13:11.860 UPenn with the closing down of the FBI-China initiative program, like the SBR. Now, you've

00:13:17.680 got three instances where the financial interests of the Biden family align with decisions Joe Biden

00:13:24.320 took and seem to be antithetical to the American interests when you think about it from a common

00:13:29.860 sense perspective. That's why people like Senator Johnson, Senator Grassley for years have been

00:13:34.740 warning. Joe Biden is over a barrel with foreign interests. People like China, Ukraine, Russia

00:13:39.940 have bought their influence. And no matter how the president acts, we're always going to wonder,

00:13:45.160 did that money his family took from that country, this country, that country, affect his judgment?

00:13:50.880 And a retrospective, if you will, on the Biden involvement in the Obama-Biden administration.

00:13:57.640 2014, Ukraine, eastern Ukraine under severe threat and incursions by Russians and their little green men.

00:14:10.160 And at the same time, they managed to take Crimea without so much as a protest from Barack Obama.

00:14:18.700 How widespread is the corruption of the U.S. intelligence agencies, the FBI, the Department

00:14:27.660 of Justice? Because there is a link amongst them all in a number of geopolitical and geoeconomic

00:14:34.820 issues that we have watched over the course of the past decade. This is very serious stuff.

00:14:43.540 And we have a country that is so divided, it's only going to make it more difficult to get to the

00:14:50.700 bedrock truth of what has been going on in this federal government, which is rife with political

00:14:57.280 corruption. Well, you ask and you rightly focus, Lou, on the potential corrupting of our intelligence

00:15:04.020 agencies, our law enforcement agencies, of course, all the work that you and I and others did, Sean Hannity

00:15:08.520 and others, to expose the Russia collusion ruse for what it was, a false criminal investigation

00:15:14.620 made to look like an intelligence threat. Well, yesterday, we just saw one of the FBI agents who

00:15:20.220 worked on that case was working for a Russian oligarch even before he quit his job at the FBI. And

00:15:26.520 then he tried to hide that relationship because it would have been in violation of U.S. sanctions with

00:15:31.480 Oleg Deripaska by taking cash and laundering the money and keeping it below the radar. Well,

00:15:38.500 that's a pretty significant round of corruption. And it really gives us yet another reason to wonder

00:15:43.420 about whether we can trust our FBI, whether we can trust that. Now, let's take Oleg Deripaska,

00:15:48.740 a Russian oligarch, somebody who the FBI and Hillary Clinton's researchers tried to portray as corrupting

00:15:57.340 maybe the link that organized the hijacking of the 26th election, which, by the way, never occurred.

00:16:03.460 Russia and Donald Trump never colluded. But Deripaska was the theory that the FBI had, and they got that

00:16:09.740 theory from Christopher Steele. Hillary Clinton's bought and paid for a researcher. What did we learn

00:16:14.640 about Christopher Steele? We learned that Christopher Steele actually worked for Oleg Deripaska before he

00:16:20.560 went to the FBI with these allegations. He had a conflict of interest. That conflict of interest was so glaring that

00:16:26.760 the CIA flagged it for the FBI saying, hey, be careful. Maybe Oleg Deripaska has corrupted, gotten too close

00:16:34.340 to Christopher Steele that you shouldn't trust Christopher Steele's dossier. And the FBI willfully and knowingly

00:16:40.860 ignored that. The same FBI that employed the man that was also working for Oleg Deripaska. You see this pattern

00:16:46.440 merging. I'm going to take it one step further. Oleg Deripaska was somebody that Hunter Biden sought to make

00:16:52.680 money off of. There is a series of emails I made public last year, got a lot of attention, when right

00:16:58.740 after Joe Biden gave a speech talking about aluminum and metal and Alcoa and being Alcoa, the American

00:17:05.880 company that makes aluminum, you know, battling against foreign competitors like Rusal, which was

00:17:11.800 owned by Oleg Deripaska. Hunter Biden concocted a scheme of how he was going to make money. He wanted Alcoa

00:17:18.320 to pay him money so he could go dig up dirt on Oleg Deripaska and they could get an upper hand on Oleg

00:17:24.320 Deripaska. So Oleg Deripaska has a connection to Hunter Biden, to Christopher Steele, to Charles

00:17:30.460 McGonigal, that FBI agent that was indicted yesterday. The Democrats, the deep state have a bigger corruption

00:17:36.480 problem than was ever found because none was found when they investigated Donald Trump for similar

00:17:41.620 things. You say this often and Lou, I think the evidence becomes more overwhelming. Democrats, when they

00:17:46.800 launch a scandal at Republicans, often are projecting their own sins on Republicans. And that's what

00:17:52.640 you see in the case of Oleg Deripaska and the Russian oligarchs. Vice President Mike Pence has been

00:17:58.480 discovered to have classified documents in his home in Indiana. So the scandals are beginning to swirl,

00:18:07.280 aren't they? Yeah. And you wonder just which is, which of these is, well, they're all political,

00:18:15.120 I suppose, in any sense of the word. But now Mike Pence doing the same thing. There is every reason

00:18:25.280 to be very suspicious now of what is happening and why. I haven't got the details on how they were

00:18:31.680 discovered and which documents, of course, we haven't even learned that when it comes to the most recent

00:18:37.160 batch of documents found in Joe Biden's residence, his center and his garage. We're looking at a country

00:18:46.780 right now that must realize, I'm talking about the American people, irrespective of a Democrat or

00:18:52.220 Republican, everyone in this country has to be at least beginning to realize that there are immense

00:18:59.300 problems of integrity and competence in this federal government. It is outrageous.

00:19:07.480 Yeah. You hit it on the head, Lou. That is what we're learning. That same intelligence community

00:19:12.600 that wanted to spend all that time concocting a false illusion that Donald Trump had a problem with

00:19:18.760 Russia is unable to protect its own documents. It doesn't track them properly. Neither the National

00:19:24.240 Archives, the CIA, the NSA, or the FBI are properly tracking documents. That's how Mike Pence ends up

00:19:31.060 with some in his home. And Joe Biden ends up with some in his home. And Donald Trump ends up with some

00:19:35.760 in his home. Now, Donald Trump, of the three, had the most power to declassify and determine what

00:19:41.780 documents he wanted to take with him. The vice presidents didn't enjoy that power. But the community

00:19:47.260 doesn't track these documents. If you think something is so sacred that it needs to have a

00:19:52.480 high classification standing, like top secret or secret, then you should have a tracking system.

00:19:58.280 You should know that Hillary Clinton is pushing the classified information through her private email 0.79

00:20:02.780 server. They didn't. They should know that Mike Pence accidentally or intentionally took documents to

00:20:07.440 his home. They didn't. Joe Biden, the same thing. Donald Trump, the same thing. In fact, one of the

00:20:13.540 theories that I've heard in the last few weeks is that some of the documents that were found at

00:20:18.180 Mar-a-Lago might actually have been documents that the CIA brought to Mar-a-Lago to brief the

00:20:23.320 president in 2017, 18, 19, 20, when he was president. And they didn't bother to take him back home with

00:20:28.660 them. There is a lax system, that very big, deep state that's been getting more involved in censorship

00:20:33.540 and politics, not doing its core capability of protecting its own secrets.

00:20:37.900 And of course, there is another construction of that possibility of how those papers got there.

00:20:46.260 The CIA simply forgot them in place in Mar-a-Lago for the very specific purpose of knowing they're

00:20:54.680 there and would be available to them should they want to pressure Donald Trump.

00:21:00.100 Always possibility. That's why we have to, that's why you want a better system than the one that we now

00:21:04.620 have right now. John, as we've gone through this over the years, one thing keeps coming up for sure

00:21:12.020 and certain every time. There will be a demonstration of incompetence on the part of the FBI, the Department

00:21:19.720 of Justice, our intelligence agencies, or there will be evidence of clear and unyielding of corruption

00:21:29.520 corruption and political corruption at that that works only one way, and that is against Republicans.

00:21:38.180 Listen, this is why our founding fathers so feared and tried to create a constitution that would keep

00:21:44.800 us from having a large central federalized government. They knew that big government in America could one

00:21:50.800 day resemble King George's heavy hand on the colonies. And so they set out to create a constitution and a

00:21:57.520 bill of rights that would keep us from ever falling under the thumb of that government. In the last 10

00:22:02.420 years, we increasingly have become under the thumb of a big incompetent and sometimes corrupt government

00:22:09.380 able to create false illusions that hamper a president, able to go to big tech despite the First

00:22:15.300 Amendment's clear declaration that the government shouldn't pass a law or take action that infringes our

00:22:20.060 free speech and get individual American opinions censored because somebody in the government didn't like the

00:22:26.140 opinion. Able to create a letter to make us all believe that the Hunter Biden laptop was a ruse when,

00:22:32.800 in fact, a Russian disinformation when, in fact, it was an actual piece of criminal evidence that the

00:22:37.900 FBI already had in its possession. That is what the founding fathers feared on their worst day when they

00:22:44.400 put the Constitution together. And in this, the advent of the 21st century, we're now being able to

00:22:51.160 witness why they feared it because we're seeing federal agencies infringe our rights, create false

00:22:56.100 realities, put our national security at risk through either incompetence or political nefarious

00:23:01.760 motives. And that is why we need to take a deep breath, take a look at the size of our government

00:23:06.780 and figure out how do we shrink it back to a size that it can't infringe the way it is infringing in

00:23:11.960 most recent years. You know, I've got no problem with inhaling, taking a deep breath, so long as

00:23:18.860 we're in motion. That's right. And these committees, I am, I am, I am very concerned these committees

00:23:27.580 are getting far more press and PR than they are making headway in those investigations. And I'm making

00:23:36.580 that judgment, I realize unfairly, because I have no idea of what they have. But I don't see the energy

00:23:43.820 being devoted to those investigations. The size of the staffs aren't large enough, to my understanding

00:23:49.500 right now, to be doing what they need to be doing. They should, frankly, they should forget about the

00:23:54.800 debt ceiling and move very quickly to raising the budgets for the judiciary and the oversight committees

00:24:01.080 in particular, uh, and, and drive as hard as they can, uh, because they don't have a year. I think there are some

00:24:09.260 who think the political savants think, well, they've got a year to talk about it, demonstrate the truth. No, they do

00:24:16.100 not. I think they have it best. And I'm going to give them a window here of 90 to six, 90 days to six months. Yeah. If

00:24:24.760 they don't do something, the American people are going to be frustrated out of their minds. And we're going to have to

00:24:30.180 ask the question, is this government capable of responding at all to obvious corruption? There, you

00:24:37.440 know, anyone in this country who pays attention to news and developments and politics knows that the

00:24:44.640 government is politically corrupt, knows that the radical Dems are absolutely a, I mean, they are Marxist

00:24:52.640 in ideology, philosophy. Uh, and when Hakeem Jeffries says we are unified, he's right. There isn't a single

00:25:00.740 word of dissent. They have all the same face. They have all the same voice and view the Democrats, the

00:25:07.060 radical Marxist Democrats in this country. Meanwhile, the Republicans are having debates and arguments about

00:25:13.400 policy and about the way forward. Uh, it is a remarkable contrast. Yeah. Listen, uh, the Democrats are good at

00:25:21.600 running the clock out on Republican investigations. That's what happened on Ukraine. That's what

00:25:25.300 happened on Russia collusion. Uh, this new group talking to James Comer and Jim Jordan is acutely

00:25:31.700 aware of that failed history and they want to defeat it. I will say this for what we don't see.

00:25:36.640 We don't see a lot of action public besides some press conferences and some letters, right? But behind

00:25:40.840 the scenes, I've talked to some of the investigators, they have been working on this for six or seven

00:25:45.940 months. They have roadmaps, they have documents they've not yet made public that they've gotten from

00:25:50.560 whistleblowers. They're probably a lot further along and understanding how big the corruption

00:25:55.620 is, whether, when they're going to make that public, I don't know. But one of the things that

00:25:59.980 went on last summer and fall that we couldn't see you and I couldn't see it Lou, except when

00:26:03.900 Jim Jordan would make a passing reference to it is these committees were investing, uh, were

00:26:08.900 interviewing 20 plus FBI whistleblowers in excruciating detail. They got huge roadmaps. And in some

00:26:15.500 cases they got documents that really prove the wrongdoing. I think we'll begin to see the fruit of that.

00:26:20.560 But you're right. Americans don't want press conferences. They don't want glitzy hearings.

00:26:24.740 They want action and accountability because they've been denied it for most of the last six

00:26:29.040 years. They saw the special counsel's investigation result in acquittals, not convictions in the

00:26:34.820 Russia collusion case. They're tired of the bad guys getting away with things. This Congress has

00:26:39.660 to deliver actions and scalps and fixes. They have to fix the problem or they'll be out of business

00:26:45.380 much, much sooner. The American people will fire them quickly. 0.59

00:26:49.000 Despite the utter failure of John Durham, the national media is scared to death to say that

00:26:55.060 John Durham is part of the problem. He was, he pretended to be solution bound. He is without

00:27:01.420 a doubt, a man who ended up exonerating the guilty, uh, and giving them a, uh, get out of jail

00:27:07.180 free card for life. It's he was not being, he wasn't simply being cautious and careful and sure.

00:27:16.640 He was, as you say, running out the clock and, and absolutely incompetently pursuing what should

00:27:24.280 have been justice that turned out to be just another way to make sure that the department of

00:27:29.240 justice is where truth goes to die. Yeah. Listen, when you look at the end result, uh,

00:27:35.180 the Durham investigation gave us a few explosive revelations, but none of the accountability

00:27:39.860 that we were looking for, none of the accountability that we thought the justice department would be

00:27:44.600 done. Yeah. There's been some people fired, right? But that's not what we were looking for. We wanted

00:27:48.460 people who broke the law to be punished. He failed in securing those, uh, convictions in the district

00:27:54.820 of Columbia. Uh, he may have picked the wrong venue for those sort of, uh, trials, but at the end of

00:28:00.320 the day, you know what? He has to live with the record he created. And it's not an impressive record.

00:28:04.680 We'll get a final report. Maybe that'll become public someday. Maybe we'll learn a little bit

00:28:08.780 more. Some more people will be shamed in the public court of opinion, but accountability in

00:28:14.180 the court of law has evaded most of the bad actors of the last six years. And that track record doesn't

00:28:20.680 seem anywhere near abating. It looks like we're headed to more examples of people walking off

00:28:25.580 unpunished. Unpunished. And, uh, you mentioned the venue and I think that's very important because the

00:28:31.740 January 6th committee didn't choose, uh, to operate along with the justice department in DC by 0.75

00:28:37.760 happenstance. 97% of that, uh, population goes to the jury trial. They're, they're cheering.

00:28:47.340 They're cheering for these, these criminals and creeps. And I'm talking about the judges who are over, 0.89

00:28:54.440 over sentencing who are, I mean, they're acting like hanging judges. There is no way that these

00:29:02.720 sentences being handed down or in any way proportionate to the overcharge even on the

00:29:09.380 part of the prosecutors and the FBI. And they are in without question, I mean, absolute, an outrage

00:29:17.380 against the, uh, against those who are defendants in the January 6th, uh, scandal. The scandal is now

00:29:26.100 that of the FBI, the department of justice in this administration and the democratic party.

00:29:31.240 Yeah. Listen, there's an amazing story that I use often when people say, well, is there really a dual

00:29:36.560 system of justice? Take a look at some of the defendants in January 6th that have gotten three,

00:29:41.120 four, five, six, seven, eight year prison sentences. And then take a look at two lawyers

00:29:45.620 who threw a Molotov cocktail into a, an NYPD car. They literally were trying to blow up

00:29:52.440 a law enforcement officer's car. They, uh, made a plea deal to get, I think three years. And then

00:29:58.300 this justice department, the Biden justice department was willing to vacate that plea deal and see if

00:30:03.200 they could give them even a lesser sentence for trying to blow up a police car, uh, in New York

00:30:09.360 city. When you look at the difference between how they acted, they put significant lives in danger by

00:30:14.900 doing what they did and what went on in the Capitol. You see that why so many people feel

00:30:19.860 like the system has been corrupted, that there is a thumb on the scale and those with a conservative

00:30:24.360 pedigree get punished to a different level than those with a liberal pedigree. But the, the,

00:30:29.460 the way that the summer of 2020 protests were handled versus the Capitol riots, uh, just a few

00:30:35.320 months later really creates a clear case. And again, I'm not defending any of the people who went into

00:30:39.620 the Capitol or beat a police officer. You deserve to go to prison if you do those things, but there

00:30:44.580 should be equal outcomes. There should be equal punishment for people who did similar things.

00:30:48.680 And there clearly isn't when you look at the sentencing and outcomes of the cases of the

00:30:53.280 summer of 22, 2022, excuse me, summer of 2020 violence, uh, perpetrators and those who went into

00:30:59.600 the Capitol, that is a problem. And that leaves a, this, uh, a great distaste in many Americans' mouths.

00:31:04.900 Well, it, it should, uh, at the very least they should have an upset stomach because there's

00:31:11.580 nothing we, we seem to be able to, no one seems to be able to do anything for these poor people who

00:31:17.820 are prisoners. They are political prisoners of the Marxist left in this country. And by the way,

00:31:23.400 we're not far from being in that same position across this country, all of us, because the next

00:31:29.460 step is not that far away for these Marxist dims, these totalitarians who pretend to be, uh, liberals

00:31:36.580 when they're actually Marxist dim, uh, authoritarians, they are without question, uh, intent on destroying 0.96

00:31:45.120 this country. In my opinion, let me ask you this. We, we get to one point after another, whether it is

00:31:51.220 the J six, whether it is, uh, the, the Russia hoax, whatever it may be that John Durham, somebody

00:31:59.480 seems to have something on somebody. And I don't think that's an accident. I believe that the

00:32:04.240 Marxist dims are using blackmail to without question, drive their agendas and create the

00:32:13.420 result they want, which is, uh, the destruction of their enemies in the Republican party and anyone

00:32:19.980 who is not on the side of the left. Yeah, listen, I, there, there is a moment, a reckoning

00:32:26.880 moment, I think coming in. And I think in the case of the Biden family, the American public will

00:32:32.480 decide, will the Biden family be held accountable for what we now know to be egregious conflicts of

00:32:38.440 interest, right? That even the state department officials that work for Joe Biden now are willing

00:32:42.720 to call it what it was, even though we were told in 2019, oh, it was no big deal. Will a family

00:32:49.160 that overtly pursued foreign money, uh, in the purview of their, uh, government father's

00:32:55.340 policy-making decisions? Will it suffer some repercussion? Will it be fined, prosecuted?

00:33:01.180 Will it be forced to give money back? Uh, those are the sort of questions. If the Biden family

00:33:06.340 walks away unscathed with the racket of political influence peddling that they put together, I think

00:33:11.840 most Americans are going to give up on the system that there's going to be accountability. 0.88

00:33:15.560 And the second they lose that faith in their government, uh, the, the, the less they're

00:33:21.460 going to vote, the less they're going to be engaged, the less they're going to want to

00:33:23.980 pay taxes. This is a spiral that really puts the great American experience at risk. And I

00:33:29.820 think it's so important that Republicans in these next 90 to 90 days to 120 days achieve

00:33:37.580 a form of accountability that we haven't been able to get in the next six, seven years, or

00:33:41.880 they're going to lose the fancy and the support of the American people. And it isn't just

00:33:46.360 Republicans who will lose it. It'll be the entire government that no longer will be trusted

00:33:50.340 by a large segment of the American population. Yeah. Ted Cruz is calling now, you know, and

00:33:57.120 the search for documents for the university of Delaware to, uh, to be investigated by the

00:34:02.140 FBI. When I saw that, I thought that's great. Uh, I hope the committees are already doing

00:34:08.320 that, uh, because we're not going to, there doesn't seem to be the overt understanding

00:34:14.060 that we're dealing with the justice department. That is the enemy of the truth, the enemy of

00:34:19.560 honesty, and certainly the enemy of the Republican party, uh, and everyday Americans. So why isn't

00:34:26.900 Ted Cruz and others, and I'm not picking on Ted Cruz. I think it's wonderful that he's doing

00:34:30.800 this. I'm just pointing out the, the level of consciousness and, and language that's being

00:34:36.080 used. It's as if he trusts the FBI and the justice department, when he shouldn't even,

00:34:41.820 even think of allowing that inference from his words. This is a time for everyone to understand

00:34:47.960 they couldn't get blackmail material on Donald Trump. They thought they could, they couldn't.

00:34:53.760 So they framed him. Uh, they, it's just a pattern that has followed all the way through the last seven

00:34:59.440 years. We need to understand that these committees are our last and best hope, and they should act

00:35:07.080 with, uh, all alacrity, uh, as well as care. Yeah. Yeah. Listen, the, uh, the rhetoric is all great.

00:35:15.560 The requests and the ideas are great, but at the end of the day, uh, uh, statements without accountability,

00:35:21.380 statements without penalty, uh, are going to be meaningless to the American people.

00:35:25.640 Institutions like the FBI need to feel the pain where they most, uh, relish their power in their

00:35:32.540 pocketbook, right? Until the FBI stops doing the things it does, maybe it's time to cut their

00:35:37.560 budget significantly until the, uh, uh, big tech, until the, uh, intelligence agencies stop meddling

00:35:45.800 with free speech by forcing and pressuring big tech to censor us. Maybe they should lose some of the

00:35:50.860 budget. Oh, money and power are the only two things that speak anything in Washington. And

00:35:55.600 these agencies have been rewarded with bigger budgets and, and more powers, despite, uh, two

00:36:02.060 decades of proof that they've done bad things. The only way to send a message to the bureaucratic

00:36:07.860 establishment in Washington is to take away their money and their power that will get their attention

00:36:13.080 to fund individual, uh, bad actors to fund agencies or reduce their funding. That's the only way

00:36:20.240 power is reduced in this town. And thus far, Republicans have been complicitous in continuingly

00:36:25.440 giving these agencies more and more money. That's why we got a $32 trillion deficit. If Republicans

00:36:30.700 are serious, the first actions they'll take against all these bad actors is to remove their power,

00:36:36.880 regulatory powers and their money until fixes are put into place. And I think that's what we need

00:36:42.140 to be watching for with Republicans. I couldn't agree with you more. Uh, I I'm going to, as you know,

00:36:49.420 always, we give you the last word. Our guests always get the last word here. Uh, your concluding

00:36:55.620 thoughts, John, on all this. There's a lot going on in the investigative realm with James Comer and

00:37:00.820 Jim Jordan that we have to keep an eye on all of the developments and understand where these

00:37:06.040 investigations are going and then see, are these investigations really leading towards an

00:37:10.980 accountability solution? Or are they just made for TV movies like we got for the January 6th

00:37:15.880 Committee last year, which gave us a lot of mistruths, but some great entertainment.

00:37:20.480 I think from my conversations with Congressman Comer and Congressman Jordan, who I've worked

00:37:25.420 with in the past and have seen their work, they're serious about it. Their leadership seems to have

00:37:30.040 given them the full, uh, flight stick. Unlike Paul Ryan, who often stepped on the authority of

00:37:36.100 committees and wouldn't let him go as far as they needed to go. Uh, but the proof will be in the

00:37:40.820 pudding. At the end of the day, if these agencies aren't punished by losing power money, if people

00:37:45.920 aren't fired, if there isn't accountability, meet it out. There's not going to be prosecutions with

00:37:50.140 the justice department. So that's not going to happen. The only way to punish these deep state

00:37:54.700 actors is to take their power and budget away. We'll see if James Comer and Jim Jordan does that.

00:37:59.220 And I agree with you. 120 days is the judgment moment by this summer. If big things haven't

00:38:04.360 happened, we've gotten the same show all over again. Thanks so much. We appreciate it. John

00:38:08.860 Solomon, just the news as always. Great, great journalist, great American. Thank you, sir.

00:38:15.300 God bless you. Thanks everybody for being with us today. A lot to consider in that discussion with

00:38:20.240 John Solomon. I hope we can at some point soon awaken in this country. It is our country and we

00:38:26.700 have to make sure we're not just along for the ride. Our children and grandchildren are depending on

00:38:31.660 us and we can do better for them and future generations. Tomorrow here, our guest is Congressman

00:38:38.160 Ben Kline. He serves on the powerful appropriations and budget committees. Coming up is the brilliant

00:38:44.120 social critic and conservative thinker Heather McDonnell and Congressman Troy Nels of Texas,

00:38:49.680 member of the Judiciary Committee and former top Justice Department official Jeffrey Clark.

00:38:55.500 Join us tomorrow when our guest is Congressman Ben Kline. Till then, God bless you and God bless America.
