00:02:05.320Of course, then you get a poll that says it's dead even or you're up by one or three, and you just wonder who they're talking to.
00:02:12.580They must be people who aren't paying attention because I just feel something happening here, Lou, on the ground in Arizona, and it's really special.
00:03:22.460You know, he's criticizing me for my career in television as a fair and honest journalist, you know, criticizing the fact that I was on television.

00:04:02.040You know, how many people can say they had a 30-year career where their job every day was to go into work and wrap their arms around the biggest story facing the state?
00:04:10.080It's been a perfect background for me, and I will say I believe that my communication skills have been honed, and we need good communicators in office.
00:04:19.340It's been a while since we've had a good communicator, and I always look to the great Ronald Reagan and how he was so able to effectively communicate what he wanted to do for this country, the direction we needed to go, and to get people to think more optimistically.
00:04:33.000Yeah, I would say in Arizona, it's been a while since you had a governor who really cared about the people, let alone communicating with them.
00:04:41.760It's great to see your candidacy, the fact that you are attracting so many great Arizonans to your campaign, to your movement.
00:04:53.180But you've attracted also the attention of the deep left, Liz Cheney, and I understand that she's done nothing but boost your fundraising.
00:07:19.540And why she would be running with them, it shows how desperate she is.
00:07:22.940It shows they don't even have the base, Lou, if they have to bring Barack Obama and the disgraced Eric Holder out to try to scrabble together and cobble together, I should say, a few people to vote for her.
00:07:36.400There's no excitement for her campaign and her candidacy.
00:07:39.320It's a pretty sad set of figures when you talk about Eric Holder and Barack Obama.
00:07:47.400Eric Holder, the president's wingman, Fast and Furious, Brian Terry killed as a result of Operation Fast and Furious, ATF, DEA, the Justice Department, all of them sullied by that operation, sanctioned by Eric Holder, obviously.
00:08:07.520But the president is out trying to save Katie Hobbs and Joe Biden's fat.
00:08:13.560I mean, it's crazy because he's the guy who lost 63 House seats and 12 Senate seats in his tenure as president.
00:08:23.760I mean, that was a half-century bad experience for the Democratic Party, and now they're trying to replicate it.
00:08:31.900There's no telling how many votes you're going to get now.
00:08:37.760Barack Obama has lost any of his appeal.
00:08:40.820And I'm not just saying that as somebody who is opposed to everything that he stands for and everything Katie Hobbs stands for.
00:08:47.420I didn't see a lot of excitement from Democrats.
00:08:49.940I mean, the people that were in that crowd were a lot of the people who are just part of the, you know, Democrat Party and the operatives.
00:08:58.420I didn't see a lot of excitement or hear people talking about being excited that he was here in town.
00:09:04.720He's lost his star power, and I don't think that it did her much good to have him.
00:09:09.200He lost Arizona twice, and here she is bringing him in.
00:09:12.480And it shows, to me, it was really, I don't even know what the word is, if it's sad or despicable, that we have our first black president coming to town,
00:09:21.000stumping for a candidate for governor who is a twice-convicted racist.
00:09:25.760She was convicted twice, both unanimous convictions by the jury, of paying a black worker in her office, a woman, a single mother, $30,000 less,
00:09:37.000to do the same job that she paid men in the office.
00:09:40.340And when the woman came to her and said, why am I making $30,000 less, Katie Hobbs fired her.
00:11:27.060He is here illegally, and he's a repeat offender.
00:11:31.400He's got a rap sheet of doing this kind of break-in, and it's interesting that she would fall victim to the policies that she's pushing,
00:11:40.740these policies that are making our crime spike by having a wide-open border, by defunding police,
00:11:47.380not giving the attention to law enforcement that we need.
00:11:50.880She's actually denounced law enforcement in order to get the Planned Parenthood to get their endorsement and their money.
00:11:57.160And so it's the leftist policies that have destroyed California that she wants to push here that will increase our crime.
00:12:04.580And to think that she became a victim of that kind of crime, it's really instant karma, in my opinion.
00:12:12.280But I believe that this is why the people, we're seeing huge numbers of the suburban mom that's coming our way because they want safe streets.
00:12:22.160They recognize the homeless population is growing.
00:12:25.220They recognize that it's no longer safe for their kids to play and ride their bikes down the street.
00:12:30.440It's no longer safe to walk across the grocery store parking lot because we're seeing these kind of crimes spike.
00:12:36.680And that's why they're voting with Republicans.
00:12:38.840With my plan, we're going to take control of our border.
00:12:42.760On day one, we're going to issue a declaration of invasion, and we are going to begin to take back control from the cartels that Joe Biden ceded the power to.
00:12:52.140And I think people are recognizing so many of our problems in Arizona stem from that wide open border.
00:12:58.360We're going to take back our state's rights and our state's sovereignty.
00:13:01.840And I believe when we do that here in Arizona, we will begin to save the whole country because the whole country is suffering because our border is open.
00:13:08.940And I couldn't agree with you more and your emphasis on parental rights in our school systems, taking control of our public education.
00:13:20.000That is, to me, one of the great issues of our time.
00:13:26.860And public education has always been, of course, the great equalizer in our society.
00:13:32.380No matter where you came from, who you were, if you could go to a public school and demonstrate intelligence and hard work and talent,
00:13:40.580you were going to have a foundation for success and opportunity in your life.
00:13:46.380And to see that denied so many children right now because of conflicts over everything from gender transitioning, sex education for nine-year-olds,
00:13:59.280it's really time for strong leadership like yours in the state of Arizona and, I hope, in states all across the country.
00:14:07.780Well, we're leading the way. We've got ESA for All, which is basically, you know, the left calls it vouchers.
00:14:13.620But we're funding our students now, not the school system.
00:14:16.700And that's a huge plus. Katie Hobbs, my opponent, after that was voted in by, after the legislature voted on it and passed it and the governor signed that bill and parents were for it,
00:14:27.620she tried to stop it once again. Thankfully, it didn't work.
00:14:31.800So now we have funding of the students, not the system.
00:14:35.000And I believe that's the best way to improve our public schools, Lou.
00:14:39.980When people start to leave and take their kids out, they're going to have to reassess what they're doing and change up the curriculum.
00:14:46.700No parent wants their kids being taught CRT or whatever else they want to call it.
00:14:52.160They don't want their kids being taught to be racist.
00:14:54.720They don't want this ridiculous 1619 curriculum that's disparaging our country and our history and not telling a true story.
00:15:01.840And that's why we're going to bring the Hillsdale College 1776 curriculum, which is the truth about America.
00:15:09.060And they certainly don't want their kids being subjected to what I believe is psychological abuse with this gender confusion and sex education at such a young age.
00:15:19.920My opponent, Katie Hobbs, sponsored a piece of legislation to introduce sex education beginning in kindergarten.
00:15:29.860She is so out of touch with what families want and what Arizona is about.
00:15:33.940We need to send her packing and make sure we get out and vote next Tuesday like our lives depend on it and like our kids' lives and future and liberty depends on it.
00:15:43.500Well, I have to say, I just talked with Ted Cruz the other day, and he had just come back from Arizona singing your praises and singing the praises of all the Republican candidates there.
00:15:56.680And he's predicting a red tidal wave for Arizona and for much of the country, and I just wanted to pass that along.
00:16:03.600I'm sure he shared that with you, but he thinks very highly of you, as do we all, and wish you all the very best of luck on November 8th, Carrie.
