00:00:33.740Hello, everybody. I'm John Fawcett, in for Lou Dobbs on today's episode of The Great America Show.
00:00:38.160Well, lawfare in America has been running rampant since January 20th of 2021, the day Joe Biden took over as commander in chief or at least puppet in chief.
00:00:47.340You have a leading political opponent being indicted, two federal indictments, two state indictments, and one civil indictment.
00:00:54.760Few people have been doing anything to help this president, President Trump, of course, attorney generals across the country.
00:01:01.280But there's one in particular who's doing the Lord's work, and that's today's guest, Attorney General Andrew Bailey of the great state of Missouri.
00:01:07.840Mr. Attorney General, thank you so much for joining us today.
00:01:33.820I'm talking about the Department of Health and Human Services issuing a rule that purports to use Obamacare to mandate that physicians here in Missouri perform radical gender mutilation surgeries on children and that taxpayers pay for it.
00:01:52.180There's zero FDA approvals for the use of puberty blockers or cross-sex hormones, dangerous, powerful chemicals that get injected into these innocent children and forever alter their lives and deprive them of the ability to enjoy the full spectrum of adulthood.
00:02:05.880And certainly we know the dangers associated with the irreversible surgeries that forever alter the children's lives and get them addicted to subsequent medications.
00:02:15.160And so this is important that we fight back.
00:02:18.400I want Missouri to be the safest state in the nation for children.
00:02:20.740And President Biden is illegally trying to compromise the health and safety of children of the state of Missouri.
00:02:25.880You know, I think this lawsuit comes at a good time.
00:02:27.940Last week, a judge in Missouri in St. Louis said that your office had no rights to medical records of transgender minors at Washington University Transgender Center at St. Louis Children's Hospital.
00:02:39.540I didn't even know there was such a thing.
00:02:42.080Anyway, the judge said it was that these people's rights were protected under Missouri's Merchandising Practices Act, which is the state's Consumer Protection Act.
00:02:52.560Why is why are there judges protecting the Biden administration, these doctors and mutilating these children?
00:03:00.800Yeah, look, there is inconsistent legal rulings from trial courts in the state of Missouri on this issue, and we intend to appeal that decision.
00:03:07.620We believe that the state has a role to play and absolutely has the legal authority to access records related to the gender mutilation procedures that were performed on children across the state of Missouri and determine what, if any, safeguards were in place to ensure that the appropriate safeguards are in place.
00:03:22.980Now, our legislature passed a bill after we uncovered this clandestine network of gender mutilation clinics operating across our state.
00:03:30.400We successfully defended that bill, Senate Bill 49, at the trial court level.
00:03:34.300We were the first state in the nation to successfully defeat legal challenge against that kind of prohibition.
00:03:39.180And now that case is from Tennessee is going all the way up to the United States Supreme Court, and the court's going to rule on that issue.
00:03:43.660But certainly states have the legal justification to ensure the safety of the juvenile population here in Missouri.
00:03:53.520I got to mention a headline from stlouistoday.com, and I'll admit I couldn't read the whole article because I wasn't paying to read the garbage after I read this headline.
00:04:01.620But the headline is from the editorial.
00:04:04.100Quote, opening public records is Bailey's job.
00:04:06.600He's too busy abusing office to do this.
00:04:11.040Your job as attorney general is to protect your state and their rights, and that includes obtaining documents when you think there's wrong things being done.
00:04:20.040Are these people out of their mind or?
00:04:22.540You know, I'm starting to think the St. Louis Post-Dispatch might not like me if I knew any better.
00:04:27.140Yeah, look, I mean, my job is to protect Missourians, to ensure that criminal wrongdoers are held accountable, and to protect our God-given constitutional rights.
00:04:34.640And that's what I'm doing with every ounce of energy I've got.
00:04:36.800So let me ask you, you know, when you have a private company or rather a public company, there's something called shareholder responsibility, right?
00:04:45.020So the executives of the company are responsible, and if they do something wrong, they can be held responsible by the shareholders, whether it's monetary or, you know, other ways throughout the company.
00:04:54.540These reckless judges who are, you know, not turning over documents to you or the Biden administration, you know, allowing this to be funded on the taxpayer dollar, five years down the road, 10 years down the road, a lot of these kids who are getting these surgeries have not even hit puberty yet, right?
00:05:11.760So they don't know exactly what's going on.
00:05:22.560I, you know, I got a surgery that, you know, mutilated me, and now it's irreparable.
00:05:29.000I can't go back to where will be the, you know, the shareholder responsibility five, 10 years down the road when these kids decide I made the wrong decision.
00:05:38.860Yeah, absolutely. That's one of the best provisions in Senate Bill 49, the General Assembly of the State of Missouri's response to shutting down these gender mutilation clinics was that they capped the medical malpractice claim statute of limitations at 15 years.
00:05:53.680That's an extended statute of limitations because, as you know, sometimes the harms from these dangerous procedures don't become real until later in life.
00:06:02.920And so by extending that statute of limitations, you give the victims of this, you know, this crime against this generation the ability to seek redress in civil court.
00:06:12.560And honestly, that's had a chilling effect.
00:06:14.540That's helped to shut down so many of these clinics, and we've got more work to do.
00:06:19.860I don't know if we saw about two weeks ago there was a doctor down in Texas indicted for blowing the whistle on a Texas children's hospital for doing this exact thing.
00:06:28.960What can be done to protect these doctors who just want to say, no, I'm not doing this.
00:06:34.740What can we do to protect these people?
00:06:36.320Are they protected or are they open to lawsuits or a political persecution from the Biden regime, which we know they do also well?
00:06:44.940Well, here in the state of Missouri, we have whistle protection, whistleblower protection act.
00:06:48.900And so that provides some legal basis to defend these individuals who come forward and call foul where they see it.
00:06:56.140Certainly, we had a whistleblower come forward in the state of Missouri back in February of 2023 that started my investigation into this matter and launched so many of the suits that we filed against these clinics in order to protect kids and that we're continuing to push forward.
00:07:10.200You know, people have said, well, listen, A.G. Bailey, why are you continuing to look for records looking in the past when the General Assembly has forbidden these procedures going forward?
00:07:18.740It's because if there were wrongdoers who are abusing children, we need to know that and hold them accountable.
00:07:22.680And if anyone was committing criminal offenses, certainly they need to be prosecuted.
00:07:26.160But as policymakers, the General Assembly needs to know what went wrong so we can assure again that the statute we have in place provides the appropriate safeguards.
00:07:33.760We're talking with the Attorney General of Missouri, Andrew Bailey, perhaps one of the greatest attorney generals in the nation right now when it comes to fighting back against the Biden regime, corruption and all that's wrong with this country.
00:07:46.620When we come back, we're going to take up another lawsuit he filed.
00:07:49.400He wants answers from the state of New York on why they're going after President Trump and why they won't leave this man alone.
00:07:54.760We're coming right back. Stay with us.
00:07:57.840Folks, you know, I beg everyone to get ready for the next crisis.
00:08:01.240And when it comes, our lives will likely change overnight, whether it's natural disaster, war or another disease.
00:08:11.000We saw what happened in 2020 when we found ourselves dependent on global supply chains.
00:08:15.880We're still dependent on China and other countries for more than 90 percent of all our pharmaceuticals.
00:08:21.300With clusters of respiratory illnesses popping up around the world and here, we need to be prepared.
00:08:27.200And now is the time to make certain you have what your family needs when the next crisis hits.
00:08:33.460Our good friends, Dr. Peter McCullough and Dr. Drew Penske over at the Wellness Company have put together just what you and I need with the Wellness Company's medical emergency kit.
00:08:42.760And now the Wellness Company's medical kit provides a solution critical to you and your loved ones.
00:08:48.260This emergency kit includes eight life-saving medications including amoxicillin, Z-Pak and ivermectin for you to keep on hand along with a guidebook for safe use.
00:08:58.860From tick bites to biochemical events, every medical scenario is covered.
00:09:33.720We're talking with Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey.
00:09:36.420And Mr. Attorney General, as we mentioned before going to break, you have a lawsuit against New York for reprehensible lawfare against President Trump
00:09:44.340and their poison to American democracy.
00:09:52.020Well, we've got to put a stop to this lawfare that is absolutely injecting a poison into our democratic process.
00:09:58.020This is about protecting Missouri's sovereign interests as a state and participating in a national presidential election on equal footing with other states.
00:10:06.500We can't let a rogue prosecutor and collusive judiciary in New York hijack the democratic process and deprive Missourians of access to and the ability to hear from a presidential candidate in the heat of a campaign in the most important national election in this nation's history.
00:10:19.780And so this lawsuit is filed at the United States Supreme Court.
00:10:23.360It's an original action at the Supreme Court under Article 3, Section 2 of the United States Constitution.
00:10:28.080Our founding fathers contemplated that there may be disputes amongst the states, and they codified a method by which those disputes could be resolved.
00:10:35.180And so the case was just docketed yesterday.
00:10:37.540We anticipate that the court will issue an order for briefing from the state of New York, and then we'll get a chance to offer some responsive briefing.
00:10:46.240And then, you know, the court's going to rule on the matter.
00:10:48.820But at the end of the day, there's a common doctrine called the Purcell Doctrine that we've alleged as one of the violations in this lawsuit.
00:10:56.080And it basically stands for the proposition that courts should stay out of any decision that interferes or obfuscates an electoral process.
00:11:03.480And those considerations are heightened the closer you get to the election.
00:11:07.760And so by moving Trump's sentencing from July to September, that puts us closer in time to the national election.
00:11:13.500I've already got constituents reaching out, asking on a daily basis, can we still vote for President Trump?
00:11:18.360Can he still serve as president? Is he allowed to be on the ballot after what New York did?
00:11:22.000And so that's why we need the court to step in and put a stop to this law fair and allow this election to take place without interference.
00:11:29.000What kind of timeline can we expect on this?
00:11:32.620I guess the Supreme Court, if they haven't already, head off into summer recess.
00:11:37.860When can we expect to hear back from them as to if they're going to make a decision or not,
00:11:43.000whether to protect truth, justice in the American way and uphold democracy or rule with the Biden regime and their tyrannical form of government?
00:11:53.780Well, I think we'll know more once we get the order from the court for briefing from the state of New York.
00:11:58.060And that'll help us kind of understand the timeline.
00:11:59.900But I also think you've got to juxtapose that against the September sentencing.
00:12:03.860If I were the court, I would sit on this matter and see what the trial court in New York did.
00:12:07.140Again, it depends on whether or not President Trump is sentenced to prison or honors conditions of probation.
00:12:12.520I mean, all of that tends to upend the national election and take him off the campaign trail, which emphasizes the importance of this lawsuit.
00:12:19.520If I were the court, I would wait until then.
00:12:21.020But at the end of the day, just because they've completed their appellate review term doesn't mean that they aren't still taking original action docket cases and deciding on those.
00:12:31.140So we anticipate moving along in the coming days and weeks.
00:12:34.440Earlier this week, we learned of documents that came out that the president's doctor met with Parkinson's disease experts at the White House 10 times in the last 10 months.
00:12:45.340One time was until midnight for seven hours straight.
00:12:49.040So now you have collusion with the White House and their doctor, which I think we could have all noticed that when President Biden took office and we knew he wasn't well this week.
00:12:59.340We have documents also from Jim Jordan of the House Judiciary Committee showing the collusion of the top DOJ official prosecuting President Trump in the Alvin Bragg case.
00:13:09.960Matthew Colangelo listing his two top references for the job as Tom Perez, the chairman of the DNC, and Jeff Zietz, President Biden's chief of staff.
00:13:20.480Can you just explain for the audience the demotion this man, Matthew Colangelo, took?
00:13:26.620What is the demotion in layman's terms from this man, Matthew Colangelo, stepping down as I think he was the assistant attorney general for the U.S. government to taking a role in a small time court in New York?
00:13:38.800In layman's terms for the audience, what was this demotion this gentleman took?
00:13:45.360He was the third-ranking official in Biden's crooked Department of Justice and then took a lower-paying job to go work at a district attorney's office in Manhattan.
00:13:52.160The only reason he did it is because the Biden administration deployed him in the lawfare against President Trump.
00:13:58.140What President Biden can't do on the campaign trail is win on the merits, so he's got to take his political opponent off the campaign trail through lawfare.
00:14:05.980Again, this is a direct attack on our democratic process, an offensive and antithetical to our system of government.
00:14:15.260You rose through the ranks of government, the ranks of law.
00:14:17.980Have you ever imagined we'd see anything like this on what's going on in this country right now, the lawfare, the corruption?
00:14:24.160I mean, we laugh at countries, you know, south of the border for the kind of corruption they have, whether it be their presidents or attorney generals in the countries.
00:14:46.420Shame on the mainstream media for putting their imprimatur on this sham process.
00:14:50.660These are illicit witch hunt prosecutions that all should be dismissed.
00:14:54.320The ethical considerations, the political motivations of the prosecutors create an incurable impropriety.
00:15:01.240The appearance of an impropriety alone should have disqualified the prosecutors.
00:15:04.220But here you have tangible evidence of that impropriety.
00:15:06.780They should have never been allowed to bring the case.
00:15:08.720The 34 count indictment is itself a due process violation for its reference to an unidentified other crime 34 times as the predicate offense.
00:15:17.640The First Amendment violation and the gag order offends not only the president's ability to speak, but also our right to hear from the president.
00:15:24.720We have a First Amendment right to hear political speech that we're being deprived of during an election cycle.
00:15:29.600And then certainly we know that there was a jury unanimity problem under the Sixth Amendment when the trial court judge instructed the jury that they could they did not have to agree on the predicate offense.
00:15:39.000So, again, the trial is replete with conflict of interest and with constitutional violations.
00:15:44.200But the objective here was never a legally valid conviction.
00:15:47.160It was always to take President Trump off the campaign trail.
00:15:49.740And that means we're slouching towards a despotic tyranny, shame on the media for not calling this what it is and calling President Biden and this lawfare out as poisonous to the democratic process.
00:16:02.660I think poisonous is being far too kind.
00:16:04.900We're talking with Attorney General of the great state of Missouri, Andrew Bailey.
00:16:08.340When we return, Biden's having another problem with the Supreme Court.
00:16:11.460His student loan bailouts getting challenged once again.
00:16:14.640We're going to take that up with the Attorney General after these quick words.
00:16:19.740The wellness company and their doctors are medical professionals you can trust.
00:16:23.440And their new medical emergency kits are the gold standard when it comes to keeping you safe and healthy.
00:16:27.820This medical emergency kit contains an assortment of life-saving medications, including ivermectin, Z-Pak.
00:16:33.600Rest assured, knowing that you have emergency antibiotics, antivirals, and antiparasitics on hand to help you and your family stay safe from whatever life throws at you next.
00:16:53.760We're talking with Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey.
00:16:56.300And Mr. Attorney General, Joe Biden's finding himself before the Supreme Court again.
00:17:01.960Three states, Alaska, Texas, and South Carolina, are asking the Supreme Court for an emergency intervention for the Biden student loan bailout program.
00:17:10.620Haven't they already rebuffed him once on this or a few times?
00:17:15.800My predecessor, Eric Schmidt, led the charge against President Biden's unconstitutional illegal attempt to, quote, unquote, cancel student loan debt under Plan A.
00:17:25.540And then I carried on that charge all the way to the United States Supreme Court.
00:17:28.560And we got a decision in June of 2023 that struck down Biden's first attempt to cancel student loan debt.
00:17:34.760Any working family or small business owner will tell you there's no such thing as debt cancellation.
00:18:29.620If you read the original Supreme Court decision, they struck down Plan A based on the major questions doctrine,
00:18:35.560which stands to the proposition that Congress doesn't hide an elephant in a mouse hole.
00:18:39.520And so what the court said was that if Congress intends to grant the executive branch authority to implement a program of this order of social, economic and political magnitude,
00:18:54.440Twice Congress has rejected such a bill once in 2019, again in 2021.
00:18:59.220Certainly they haven't done anything on this issue in the interim between June of 2023 and when the Supreme Court struck down Plan A and when he rolled out Plan B.
00:19:15.360It is an attempt to buy votes and it doesn't seem to be working according to every single poll that's been out over the last, I guess, six months to a year or so.
00:19:24.140So what happens to the people who he's already forgiven, the people who have already gotten money?
00:19:37.600And we're going to have to see what the court does on that issue.
00:19:39.760Certainly, we're looking at all available remedies and continuing to analyze not only the order that we obtained in our suit, but the order that the state of Kansas next door to us obtained in their suit and how those two work together to put a stop to this and certainly look back in time to claw back any assets of taxpayer resources that were expended.
00:20:00.360Before we wrap up here, I want to get your take on a congresswoman Luna out of Florida has been going against going after Attorney General Merrick Garland for, I mean, all that he's done.
00:20:11.680He's probably the most crooked attorney general we've ever seen in this country.
00:20:15.060But Speaker Mike Johnson, he's got a problem with it.
00:20:18.220He wants Luna to hold off on the contempt resolution against Merrick Garland.
00:20:23.200What do you think is going through Johnson's head and why is he so against holding this administration accountable?
00:20:29.180You know, I think that remains to be seen.
00:20:32.240This is clearly a lawless administration.
00:20:34.240I was proud to go to Washington, D.C. and testify at a House committee hearing on the impeachment proceedings against Secretary Mayorkas.
00:20:41.140I think that he is derelict in his duty and his obligation to secure our southern border.
00:20:45.900Every policy position he's implemented has made the problem worse.
00:20:49.200I think he should forfeit his office because of his refusal to do his job.
00:20:52.600Shame on the Senate for Senate Democrats for not taking that impeachment proceeding forward.
00:20:56.840I think the same thing should be done to Merrick Garland.
00:20:58.580Again, he's deploying resources and committing lawfare without legal authority, and it's hurting our democratic process.
00:21:04.920It's obfuscating the national election and harming all Americans and undermining the rule of law.
00:21:17.140We've seen more plane incidents happen in this last six months to a year than I think we've ever seen in this country.
00:21:22.220It's like we're waiting for something bad to happen.
00:21:24.700You've got Merrick Garland, who's judge, jury, and verdict, you know, doing whatever the hell he wants to do, getting away with everything, and nobody wants to hold him accountable.
00:21:34.640Before we wrap up here, there's a new report out today from Politico that Hunter Biden is actually chief of staff to President Joe Biden.
00:21:44.480This is now a convicted felon, a man with no security clearance, a man with a very troubled past, a very questionable past of maybe accepting bribes.
00:21:53.920How is this going on in America right now?
00:21:57.820Dark days in the history of our republic, indeed.
00:22:00.340Not only is it a lawless regime, but now the Biden crime family that's been in power for 50 years has consolidated that power there and circling the wagons around the president.
00:22:11.720You know, this is an individual who's so enfeebled he can't even walk upstairs or know where he is on stage in front of national audiences, international audiences to boot.
00:22:21.240You know, shame on his family for letting this go on as long as it has.
00:22:24.640At some point, this becomes elder abuse.
00:22:30.120I mean, she seems like she's got it all.
00:22:32.400And to watch her husband struggle and go through this, it's truly a shame.
00:22:36.760And Hunter, just for his own benefit, whether it's benefiting Joe Biden or just himself, do you think Joe Biden makes it through to November?
00:23:04.620You know, it's a constant shell game with the Democrats.
00:23:07.240They seem to be in an infinitely regressive death spiral with President Biden leading the charge.
00:23:11.940He should have been pulled from the ticket years ago, not even months ago, but to allow it to go on this long is frightening.
00:23:17.900And again, it continues to obfuscate the electoral process when here in the state of Missouri, we've already had a caucus and we've selected delegates to go to the national conventions.
00:23:26.240And when they can't hear from the Republican presidential candidate on certain issues because of the illicit gag order, and then they're unsure who's going to be on the Democratic ticket, this is all problematic.
00:23:35.360And again, upends our national election.
00:23:46.600You've got a war at our southern border where the cartels are dictating who comes in, who doesn't come in, how much they pay, how much drugs come through that border.
00:23:54.780You've got China sending fentanyl through that southern border.
00:23:58.500It's like something you've never seen before.
00:24:00.740Mr. Attorney General, you get the last word here.
00:24:02.480Yeah, look, we've been fighting and winning for Missourians on so many of these issues between protecting children to fighting for our constitutional rights and trying to put a stop to Joe Biden's illegal lawfare against President Trump.
00:24:13.580We're going to keep fighting and winning, and we're going to turn this thing around.
00:24:17.540Attorney General Andrew Bailey of the great state of Missouri, you're doing the Lord's work.
00:24:20.780And when Eric Schmidt left, he had some big shoes to fill, and I think you're filling those more than we could have ever asked for.
00:24:27.000Thank you so much for joining us today.
00:24:28.540Hey, I appreciate you, sir. Talk soon.
00:24:30.240Thank you all for being with us today.
00:24:31.640And again, another thank you to Missouri's Attorney General Andrew Bailey.
00:24:35.260He truly is doing the Lord's work and trying to hold this Biden regime accountable for all the corruption and lawfare they're waging across Americans,
