In this episode, Lou Dobbs is joined by Joe McBride, an attorney who represents a number of January 6th defendants, including Richard Barnett, Adam Jackson, and Ryan Nichols. They discuss the process of their release from prison, and how they are being treated in the judicial system.
00:26:23.000By the way, they and William Barr and the list goes on, 51 intelligence officials.
00:26:29.320I just want everybody in this audience to always be straight about this.
00:26:34.220This is not, under any circumstance whatsoever, an accident what we are witnessing, what we're bearing.
00:26:41.640And, Joe, I know people, we're talking about your clients, but I've got to tell you, we've got perhaps millions of Americans right now who are dispirited.
00:26:52.800They are sick of what they're witnessing in this country.
00:26:56.900And that is exactly what this administration and the Marxist-DEMs who lead them wanted.
00:27:03.880They want the patriots to be crestfallen, to be any feeling of hopelessness or helplessness they can instill, they will,
00:27:15.900by their thuggery, by their cheating, their lying, their deceit,
00:27:21.780and pummeling President Trump as a target.
00:27:26.760This is to have the Justice Department now going after him with a national archivist.
00:28:23.520We have to prevail, and we have to do it now, and we have to cut the nonsense.
00:28:28.240This is an evil president, an evil White House, and an evil court system.
00:28:34.620We have permitted corruption, political corruption, throughout our courts.
00:28:38.120The legal profession itself is filled with left-wing activists rather than patriots and citizens who want to first respect law and order and the rights of their fellow citizens.
00:28:53.400This is an ugly time in America, and we have to prevail.
00:29:01.000I mean, what you said right now should be broadcasted across every channel and every social media platform and put on a loop for the next week, as far as I'm concerned.
00:29:12.520And the reason why somebody like Ryan Nichols went to his first political protest in his life on January 6th was because he felt that in his heart that what had happened, you know, was wrong, that the election was in fact stolen.
00:29:27.560And the underlying reason for going in to protest the government for political redress of grievances and to say, hey, don't certify this election, it's fraudulent.
00:29:37.580People were afraid that if an unelected president got in power, if a president who had sold out to foreign interests got in power, that this person would destroy the country.
00:29:48.660That he would weaponize the police power, that he would drive the economy into the ground, that he would do stuff to the, you know, to the Constitution.
00:29:58.300And, you know, all of those concerns are we now live with those as a part of our daily reality.
00:30:05.400I mean, we don't need to speculate anymore.
00:30:08.320We understand that there are people in power who are not interested in the Constitution or the American citizen for that matter.
00:30:17.920And that is why I am encouraging people to run for office.
00:30:27.160You can get people behind you at whatever, you know, if you're a farmer and what's going on with the crops and the attack on the farming industry.
00:30:37.460If that's your thing, run for whatever office is there.
00:30:40.640And if you live in an urban community and it's more related to school and what's being taught there and masking, whatever, run for office there.
00:31:24.580And in that spirit, I want to be certain that I ask you right now to bring on with you, as soon as possible, the wives, whether it's Reynolds, whomever it is.
00:31:43.120I would like them to come on the air and tell the story in their terms about what has happened to them and their spouses.
00:31:55.220And these are stories the American people need to know.
00:31:58.360And I have to say, I don't believe that enough of these stories are getting out, if any of them are getting out.
00:32:05.380And I don't know if the audience of this podcast has the stomach to listen to the awful fate of these people.
00:32:51.540This has gone on beyond my wildest imagining, Joe.
00:32:55.320I never dreamed we'd be talking here in August about this with your clients still incarcerated, the process so slow, the treatment so horrible, in a U.S. prison or jail of any kind.
00:33:11.800We've got to rise above this, and we've got to do it now.
00:33:15.620We've got to act like Americans and defend one another.
00:33:21.280So I would like to ask you to do that.
00:33:24.240I know that we've taken a lot of your time.
00:33:27.480We always give you the last word as the guest here, and I'll turn to you for your concluding thoughts, and I will say thank you first for all you're doing for these poor folks who are caught in this.
00:33:42.600And I will not take away any of their individual responsibility for that.
00:33:47.220But this has gone beyond taking responsibility for oneself.
00:33:51.440This is now a matter of fair and humane and treatment that is American, not a third world or a banana republic.
00:34:03.580This is, you use the expression talking about the jails in Washington as a gulag.
00:34:09.000It's not the Soviet Russia or the Soviet Union either, or, of course, our good friends, the Chinese.
00:34:20.820And with that, Joe, I turn it over to you for your concluding thoughts.
00:34:27.980You know, to your listeners, I'm sorry if you don't have the stomach to listen to some of the stuff.
00:34:33.640It's hard to hear, but it's happening and it's real.
00:34:36.280You don't have to approve of anybody's conduct on January 6th or their reasons for going there or their beliefs about the election to understand that when the constitutional rights of an American citizen are disregarded and violated by the United States government and nobody does anything about it, that that is a massive failure on behalf of all of us.
00:35:00.480We are all at risk when one person can be tortured by the United States government in this country for their political beliefs, for their participation in the protest that got out of hand.
00:35:12.180It could happen to you and anyone else that you love.
00:35:14.900So I would encourage you to set your set, set your your objections aside and to be open minded and to open your mind and open your heart with regard to the people I represent and other January sixes across the board.
00:35:27.060If you're inclined to follow my work or to give, you can find me at McBrideLawNYC.com.
00:35:33.600There's a January 6th tab there where people can donate to whatever fund for the for the clients I represent.
00:35:39.820You can find me on social media if you want to follow my work at McBrideLawNYC or across all social media platforms.
00:35:47.660And Lou, with regard to your question about the why it's going on, I'd like to start with Bonnie Nichols.
00:35:56.700She'll come on and she'll she'll she'll say in a way that that makes sense, that resonates with people.
00:36:03.360Every time I bring her on a TV show, every time I set an appointment for her to speak in public, any time she gets up there and she talks about her experience as a as a wife, as a patriot, as a woman in America.
00:36:19.300On behalf of her husband, on behalf of her family, people are outraged.
00:36:58.620And I ask that God continue to bless and protect you as you, you know, you live and you speak out in a world that and under under an administration that does not like what you're saying.
00:37:12.780And I take courage in the fact that men like you still exist and have the courage to say what needs to be said no matter what the cost.
00:37:28.140And I'm just as sincere in saying, you know, I think the world of you and what you're doing in the toughest of circumstances.
00:37:38.180And we're all deeply grateful for what you are doing and for speaking out.
00:37:43.140And as to the to the spouses, the wives, the children, whomever it may be for any one of those families of these these Americans, our fellow Americans who are incarcerated in the January 6th protests.
00:37:58.560I, frankly, I don't care how polished a speaker or in any other way.
00:38:06.120You know, I'm I'm a guy who I'm used to people who are straightforward and plain spoken.
00:38:11.560And I think the country needs to hear for every single one of them.
00:38:14.840So we'll begin, as you request, with Bonnie and and go through, you know, move on.
00:38:22.480I feel it's our responsibility now to bring that story to as many people as possible.
00:38:28.320And and I believe that the audience will be deeply appreciative of your efforts and their and their circumstances as well.
00:38:37.740So we'll begin the beginning, the beginning right now and we'll open up our our guest list beginning with as soon as you want them.
00:38:48.920We will make we will make arrangements to to accommodate them within a matter of days.
00:38:56.600Joe McBride, fighting injustice every day, carrying on a fight for the constitutional rights of his January 6th defendants,
00:39:05.020many of whom are being treated like animals by the federal court system, the Department of Justice prosecutors, the FBI and the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
