Summary
While we were away on our Christmas Vacation, the House of Representatives elected a new Speaker of the House, a man that I think didn t deserve to take over that role once again as Speaker. Mike Johnson has done nothing to prove himself as Speaker in his first term, and has failed to do anything to give us any reassurance that he was going to be a good Speaker.

Hello, everybody, and welcome to The Great America Show.
00:00:06.900
Thanks so much for joining us today on our first show of the new year.
00:00:13.800
I hope you all had a wonderful Hanukkah, a very blessed and merry Christmas with your
00:00:23.860
In just 14 days, President Trump is heading back to the White House, where he's got a
00:00:30.520
While we were away on that vacation, taking a much needed break and some time off from
00:00:35.760
some news, we're just catching up on it now for this week.
00:00:39.920
We never take a break from news here on this show because it's always flowing.
00:00:43.640
And now with President Trump coming back, it's probably going to be flowing a little bit
00:00:47.360
more than it has for the last four years with Joe Biden in office.
00:00:51.700
But while we're all away, the House of Representatives elected a new speaker, a new old speaker of
00:00:58.180
It goes by the name of Mike Johnson, a man that, in my opinion, didn't deserve to take
00:01:05.280
over that role once again as Speaker of the House.
00:01:08.100
He's had some months to prove himself as Speaker in his first term.
00:01:12.820
And he's done nothing, in my opinion, to give us that reassurance that he's going to do
00:01:18.900
He managed to get the support of President Donald Trump.
00:01:21.720
We often say on the show Donald Trump is far too nice of a guy and he gives people far
00:01:27.900
And I think with Johnson, it's going to be one of them.
00:01:30.360
I agree with President Trump on just about 99.9 percent of things.
00:01:33.700
This is one of the ones that I respectfully disagree with him on, as I don't think Mike
00:01:41.800
I don't think Mike Johnson has been a truth teller.
00:01:45.040
I want to go through some points on what Mike Johnson's record has been while he's his first
00:01:54.400
Since November 5th, Republicans added over $300 billion in additional spending to the
00:01:59.840
deficit and has since Social Security insolvency by at least six months.
00:02:04.780
In the last weeks before Christmas, the House Republicans violated the 72-hour rule, not once,
00:02:10.480
but twice, had to pull down a nearly 1,600-page bill that contains a large number of provisions.
00:02:16.480
You know that one that they tried to sneak in behind President Trump's back that they tried
00:02:21.720
doing the 11th hour, not giving them the 72-hour rule, which Mike Johnson promised he would
00:02:27.500
He also promised single-subject bills, which we knew that to be a lie because he didn't
00:02:31.120
give us one in his term as his first term as Speaker of the House.
00:02:35.860
They added $110 billion to the deficit without any offsets to give the Biden administration
00:02:41.020
funding for more weeks before the Republicans took control in January.
00:02:48.420
Usually how the Republicans do things is they'll give a funding bill and then they'll
00:02:51.640
cut from somewhere or they'll cut the fat from somewhere else.
00:02:54.660
And I mean, there's plenty of fat to cut from what Biden has done.
00:02:59.840
He could have probably trimmed $100 billion, $200 billion, maybe a trillion bucks across
00:03:04.500
the board from some of his DEI stuff that he has done.
00:03:09.220
He's also managed to divide the House Republicans and President Trump regarding his correct desire
00:03:14.040
to clear the decks of the debt ceiling because leadership never shared it with the GOP conference,
00:03:21.600
Just another one of Mike Johnson's deceitful plans.
00:03:27.240
Since November of 2023, Mike Johnson, of course, I must add, passed an additional $61 billion for Ukraine
00:03:37.340
That's our southern border, of course, despite repeated promises to secure our border before funding Ukraine.
00:03:47.400
He also passed a $1.2 trillion fiscal year 2024 bill under the suspension of rules that funded
00:03:57.100
Once again, not securing our own southern border.
00:04:00.240
This is, of course, in violation of the HACET rule, which means the majority of the Republicans
00:04:04.500
opposed it, which is why Mike Johnson went to the Democrats.
00:04:11.880
Johnson also passed a $500 billion fiscal year spending bill.
00:04:15.440
This was earlier in the year under the suspension of rules and getting rid of the HACET rule,
00:04:20.380
which means the majority of Republicans once again oppose this bill.
00:04:24.680
Now, one that Mike Johnson seems to get a pass on, which nobody really wants to talk about
00:04:29.140
because it happened earlier in 2024, was he passed the FISA reauthorization,
00:04:35.340
which failed to include a warrant requirement with more Democrats than Republicans supporting the bill.
00:04:41.780
Once again, so who is Mike Johnson really working for here, folks?
00:04:46.460
Is he working for the Republicans or is he working for the Democrats?
00:04:49.600
Because he's done more for the Democrats and passed more bills for the Democrats
00:04:55.160
So why were the Republicans so united behind a man who's not united behind the party?
00:05:02.820
Earlier in February of 2024, he pulled the FISA down from the Rules Committee after debate started
00:05:09.140
and testimony offered despite the rule being supported by conservatives and judiciary members
00:05:13.900
because the Intel Committee threatened to kill the rule.
00:05:17.640
Mike Johnson once again being bullied by the Democrats and the rhinos in the House.
00:05:21.240
But if you took to Twitter to figure out what exactly was going on, you were called a rhino
00:05:27.440
if you supported Mike Johnson because President Trump supported him.
00:05:30.940
Now, political discourse is okay in this country.
00:05:33.380
We can agree to disagree and we can disagree all the way outright.
00:05:38.500
As I said, I agree with President Trump on 99.9% of the things.
00:05:43.440
I think everything he's done in his first term made this country a better place.
00:05:49.840
I think everything he's going to do this term is going to make the country a better place.
00:05:53.900
I mean, you can't really make it much worse after what Joe Biden's done to this country.
00:05:57.400
But nonetheless, President Trump is the greatest president of my lifetime.
00:06:01.620
He's probably the greatest president of your lifetime as well.
00:06:04.560
And that includes President Ronald Reagan who went down in history as one of the greatest presidents.
00:06:09.800
But picking someone like Speaker Mike Johnson to lead this conference I don't think is the best idea.
00:06:16.780
We saw what happened with Paul Ryan in President Trump's first turn.
00:06:20.280
He set the agenda knowing the agenda was going to fail.
00:06:23.140
And President Trump was not able to get as much done as he'd like to in his first two years in the House with the House of being Republican.
00:06:32.420
And that's all because of a bad Speaker of the House.
00:06:34.880
Now, we'll see if Mike Johnson goes down that road.
00:06:44.320
But I guess we're just going to have to go ahead and wait and see what Mike Johnson does
00:06:47.440
and how long of a leash President Trump is willing to give him to go ahead with that agenda.
00:06:54.500
But what was telling to me is one of Mike Johnson's, if not the first act, it was one of his first acts,
00:07:01.260
as the Speaker of the House of the 119th Congress now as we enter 2025,
00:07:04.840
was to adopt Nancy Pelosi's House rule for the motion to vacate.
00:07:08.400
Now, you remember that motion to vacate was brought down to one when Kevin McCarthy had took over.
00:07:12.560
You remember Kevin was so eager to take that job, probably for whatever lobbying job he has now.
00:07:19.360
But he was so eager to take that job with one person to motion to vacate.
00:07:26.020
Anyway, Johnson, who I'm sure is acting in good faith, but doing this as his first act?
00:07:33.620
I'm not entirely sure, but we'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
00:07:38.220
So he adopted Nancy Pelosi's House rule for the motion to vacate,
00:07:41.280
and Speaker Johnson took the rule and made it worse than it was under Nancy Pelosi.
00:07:45.520
Thomas Jefferson's rule was one member to file for motion to vacate.
00:07:50.300
Nancy Pelosi's rule was five members to file for the motion to vacate.
00:07:54.540
Mike Johnson has now made it nine members needed to file that motion to vacate the chair.
00:08:01.220
So if Mike Johnson has the best interests of this country in mind,
00:08:06.640
why was that one of his first acts to go ahead and do that?
00:08:13.100
that it has to be offered by the majority member
00:08:15.620
and has to accumulate eight co-sponsors at the time it is being offered.
00:08:20.680
So now it's making it virtually impossible to ever get Mike Johnson out of there.
00:08:24.280
And it's giving Mike Johnson free reign to do whatever the hell he wants,
00:08:28.940
and answer to nobody because he's the big, powerful Speaker of the House.
00:08:33.760
The Speaker of the House is probably the most powerful job in Washington
00:08:38.420
up there with the President of the United States.
00:08:40.920
Some may even argue that it's more powerful than the President of the United States
00:08:46.400
You call the agenda, you call how much money you spend.
00:08:48.980
The President doesn't have the authority or the power to go ahead and do that.
00:08:52.540
So Mike Johnson, some argue the most powerful man in D.C.,
00:08:56.440
making sure he's safe from any members who want to get rid of him for simply being a rhino.
00:09:02.440
So I had to get that off my chest here as we enter the new year of why I don't support Mike Johnson
00:09:08.100
and why I don't think Mike Johnson was the right pick.
00:09:13.520
But from everything we know from Mike Johnson and what he's done here in the past,
00:09:20.360
Also happening while we were on vacation, Judge Juan Merchant,
00:09:25.820
says that he has to sentence Donald Trump in that Stormy Daniels hush money sham trial.
00:09:34.620
President Trump tweeting out it would be the end of the presidency as we know it
00:09:38.600
if Merchant go ahead and pushes forward with that sentencing of President Trump before the inauguration.
00:09:48.800
January 10th, just 10 days before President Trump takes office and he wants to sentence him.
00:09:53.220
Merchant has said he's not going to sentence him to jail, but it doesn't matter.
00:09:58.220
You know, you have a president-elect who's taken office in 10 days
00:10:02.080
and you're going to sentence him in a criminal trial.
00:10:08.240
President Trump is able to go ahead and move forward with that appeal in New York.
00:10:11.340
So you can't move forward with an appeal in New York to get the case thrown out unless you're sentenced.
00:10:15.860
So once President Trump is sentenced, and as we had said, Merchant said,
00:10:20.140
I mean, even if he did want to go down that road, the Supreme Court would probably come in with an emergency injunction
00:10:27.080
But President Trump now will be able to start that appeals process,
00:10:32.100
which is almost guaranteed to be thrown out at the upper levels.
00:10:36.020
We now hear about jury issues having issue with the jury pool and some of these folks.
00:10:40.500
Or you can go ahead and look at the fact that Judge Juan Merchant's daughters work for the Democrats.
00:10:45.460
You can go down the list, as I often say, of things that are corrupt and wrong
00:10:49.160
and pick whatever you'd like to go ahead and argue that day because there's plenty of points.
00:10:59.100
Joe Biden has given the Presidential Medal of Freedom to a few crooks,
00:11:03.140
among the two of them, Hillary Clinton and George Soros.
00:11:10.740
Secretary Clinton has made history many times over decades in public service,
00:11:14.640
including being the first lady elected to the United States Senate.
00:11:19.400
she may became the first woman nominated for President of the United States.
00:11:22.360
He forgets to leave out that she was brutally beaten by Donald Trump in 2016.
00:11:28.060
So that lady will never be President of the United States.
00:11:30.900
He also referred to George Soros as a good man.
00:11:39.940
We know the Open Societies Foundation very, very well.
00:11:44.060
Through his network of foundations, partners, and projects in more than 120 countries,
00:11:48.180
of course, Joe Biden has to mention other countries because he's America last,
00:11:51.900
Soros has focused on global initiatives that strengthen democracy,
00:11:59.000
George Soros is responsible for giving us many of these corrupt DAs who are now being weeded out.
00:12:05.420
George Soros is also responsible for corrupting our elections,
00:12:09.840
more so than they have already been done by some of these Democrats
00:12:15.600
and some of these city councils and state legislators who passed these corrupt election laws
00:12:21.500
that we saw in 2020, but didn't work out so well for them in 2024.
00:12:25.740
2024, as Donald Trump is coming back to the White House, as I said, in just 14 days,
00:12:36.080
It's a touching subject, I think, to a lot of us on this show.
00:12:38.820
It was a touching subject to my mentor, my good friend, the great Lou Dobbs.
00:12:45.840
It's the anniversary, the four-year anniversary of a day that will live in infamy,
00:12:50.000
a day that changed the lives of so many people, much for the worse.
00:12:54.820
We had a government that did corruption and overreach to levels we've never seen before.
00:13:01.360
But as I said, in just two weeks, two short weeks,
00:13:03.800
I think President Trump is going to right the wrong,
00:13:06.400
and he's going to make these people's lives great again, if it could ever be done so.
00:13:11.900
The lives that were lost on that day, Ashley Babbitt among the men of Roseanne Boylan,
00:13:17.600
one of them brutally killed by a police officer, an unarmed woman, an unarmed veteran.
00:13:26.840
She's never coming back because of the brutal and cowardice acts of Lieutenant Michael Byrd.
00:13:32.960
But we pray for her, and we pray for her family on this day.
00:13:37.300
Now, just four years later, I mean, it seems like it was just yesterday.
00:13:41.520
Folks, we're going to be heading down to D.C. later today.
00:13:44.480
We're going to be speaking at an event at the Higher Regency in Washington, D.C.,
00:13:50.040
You can go to thegatewaypundit.com to go ahead and stream that event,
00:13:53.760
get tickets to that event if you want to come on out.
00:13:55.760
If you're in D.C. today and come by and say hello, I'll be speaking there.
00:13:59.500
It's on behalf of Jake Lang, January 6th political prisoner,
00:14:03.640
who's going to be just joining us after this quick commercial break we take.
00:14:08.060
But today's episode is going to be dedicated to January 6th and those political prisoners
00:14:11.900
who we hope and pray to God will be freed in just 14 days.
00:14:16.900
As I said, you can go to thegatewaypundit.com to watch our live stream today.
00:14:21.040
You could also go to our Rumble page, Dobbs Media or Facebook,
00:14:25.320
wherever you guys watch this show on video, and we'll also be streaming out the event.
00:14:31.740
I'm honored to have been asked to be a keynote speaker at this event,
00:14:35.540
and I'm looking forward to heading down to the swamp.
00:14:38.540
Last time I think I was there was probably January 6th of 2021,
00:14:42.600
covering January 6th rally for Fox Business at the time.
00:14:46.340
So I'm not sure I'm excited to be heading back down to D.C.
00:14:49.380
I'll be getting in and leaving just mere hours after I get there
00:14:57.460
We used to go down there for day trips, and Lou would say,
00:14:59.840
I want to get back on that train and head right back,
00:15:01.800
except I'm going on a plane so I can get out of there faster.
00:15:04.820
So we hope you'll be joining us for that event either in person
00:15:07.460
or, as I said, at thegatewaypundit.com, our good friend Jim Hoff over there,
00:15:15.200
When we return, like I said, we're going to be joined by Jake Lang.
00:15:19.900
He's going to be joining us from the D.C. Gulag to give us an update on this event
00:15:23.600
and what's going on in there, what the sentiment is in the Gulag right now
00:15:28.660
as they hope to all be receiving a pardon, like I said, in just two weeks.
00:15:37.440
A large retail store just canceled a huge order,

00:16:39.380
Jake Lang, it's great to have you with us, folks.
00:16:41.960
For all of you joining us today here on video, you can see the circumstances we're working with.
00:16:46.040
If you're joining us on audio, you'll hear a little distortion in the background.
00:16:51.220
Google out just a few minutes down the road from the United States Capitol.
00:16:56.940
I'm not sure if we'd celebrate it really as an anniversary for what's going on with you guys
00:17:02.760
What can you tell us now, Jake, as we enter 2025 and we're four years in the past,
00:17:08.760
five years in the past, of January 6th, what is the sentiment right now of all you folks
00:17:18.880
Well, right now it's not anything to be celebrated yet, but I think in the future,
00:17:24.040
Americans will remember this day as Patriots Day, the day where free men stood up against
00:17:28.860
tyranny, against the stolen election, and we stood shoulder to shoulder, all Americans
00:17:35.020
But right now it's still a tragedy because you have 1,572 political prisoners that have
00:17:42.380
been harassed, our lives destroyed by the Biden regime and the FBI.
00:17:46.420
And so right now we're still fighting for our lives.
00:17:49.540
And in just 14 days when President Trump is inaugurated, we are calling upon him during
00:17:55.240
this press conference that's happening today in Washington, D.C. at the higher agency.
00:17:59.580
We're calling upon him and his administration to do a blanket pardon.
00:18:04.200
All Jan Sixers get everybody out of the gulag on day one.
00:18:10.980
Yeah, Patriots Day actually sounds like an excellent idea.
00:18:14.760
And I know if Lou Dobbs were here today and still alive today, he'd be all in favor of
00:18:18.920
I mean, you have some days that are federal holidays now, Juneteenth.
00:18:22.580
It's a day that people celebrate, you know, from school, close up stock market, close down
00:18:28.080
Yet we have January 6th, a day that'll live in infamy.
00:18:31.560
As you said, over a thousand of you folks still in jail.
00:18:34.700
I think in 14 days when President Trump takes the gavel again, from what I hear from his
00:18:39.580
folks, it's going to be among one of the first things he does.
00:18:43.760
And I hear that, you know, it's going to be one of these blanket, for the best of my
00:18:48.460
knowledge, one of these blanket pardons and not an individual case-by-case scenario, which
00:18:53.400
you had originally floated, because it doesn't make sense to do that, Jake.
00:19:00.760
So many of you guys spend time in jail for simply walking through the Capitol.
00:19:05.000
How do you determine who's overcharged and who's not overcharged?
00:19:09.580
Who do you determine who's a violent insurrectionist and who's a not violent insurrectionist when
00:19:15.500
they just charged you guys, whatever the hell they felt like charging you with?
00:19:22.260
I mean, you know, President Trump himself has spoken out against a two-tier justice system,
00:19:28.380
The absolute impossibility that anybody can get a fair trial if they're a Trump supporter
00:19:36.680
So he can't say that with one hand and then on the other hand say, but these few guys here
00:19:43.960
Justice denied, right, is something that makes the pardon process real.
00:19:50.880
As far as Trump can say, none of these guys received a fair jury trial.
00:19:54.440
All of them need to go home, regardless of what they were charged with.
00:19:58.260
They have all been brought to this kangaroo court system and treated basically like a
00:20:03.740
We were offered up as sacrifices to the Democrat deep state regime.
00:20:09.860
And, you know, I've brought you home after four years, four long, brutal years, over 900
00:20:15.480
days of solitary confinement that I've done, John.
00:20:18.800
This is, it seems like just two weeks away is a miracle.
00:20:22.320
It doesn't even seem real, but I can't imagine my feet are on the concrete, my face is in
00:20:28.140
the sun in two weeks after 1,445 days of torture.
00:20:43.500
I'm always cautiously, cautiously optimistic, Jake, but I'm very optimistic on what I think
00:20:50.240
You know, you often hear these folks, these Democrats talking about the people who died
00:20:54.440
on January 6th, the officers who died on January 6th, who went home and days later died.
00:21:00.540
But you don't hear them talking about the Ashley Babbitts, the Roseanne Boylan, the two folks,
00:21:05.520
the Kevin Gleesons, the Benjamin Phillips who died days after from cardiac vascular issues,
00:21:14.540
When they say their folks died, if they died as a result of you guys storming the Capitol,
00:21:19.440
but when it's on the other side, Roseanne Boylan, she died of a fentanyl overdose because
00:21:23.500
she was sitting in the Capitol doing fentanyl that day.
00:21:26.440
Ashley Babbitt sat there and shot herself with the gun is what they want to make it seem out
00:21:32.440
Yet you guys are the criminals as Michael Byrd goes out there on 60 Minutes and all these
00:21:36.220
mainstream media outlets like he's some sort of hero.
00:21:39.920
Oh, you're a thug and a gangster and a criminal.
00:21:47.720
I mean, Jake, that's what, aside from you guys being there overcharged and, I mean,
00:21:56.100
If you're wrong, it kills you to know that Ashley Babbitt's never coming back.
00:22:01.340
Roseanne Boylan has an asterisk next to her name because they said she died of a drug overdose.
00:22:08.040
Well, John, as you know, first of all, our thoughts and our deepest prayers in Christ
00:22:15.760
Jesus go out to the family members that lost their loved ones at the Capitol on January
00:22:21.440
The unarmed patriots that were slaughtered by the deep state.
00:22:25.160
Nancy Pelosi's jackboot thugs that killed four people.
00:22:29.440
Kevin Greason and Benjamin Phillips actually died on the Capitol scene that day from being
00:22:34.380
hit with concussion grenades and had heart attacks, cardiac arrest, immediate blood.
00:22:43.240
And as you know, Roseanne Boylan's story is super close to my heart, John.
00:22:47.100
I watched her, I mean, she was virtually in my arms as she died on the West Terrace Tunnel.
00:22:53.860
I responded when the police were trampling people onto the ground and creating a human
00:23:02.100
She was, I mean, absolutely soaked with chemical weapons like COC spray and tear gas.
00:23:07.920
And she was being trampled and beaten with a stick by Officer Lila Morris.
00:23:11.820
And I tried to pick her up and drag her out, but she had already passed.
00:23:15.760
And, you know, this is one of those tragedies that needs to be righted immediately.
00:23:21.640
The fact that the coroner's office, I don't know what kind of shady business is happening
00:23:25.460
over there, that they would mark her death as an amphetamine overdose when clearly this
00:23:30.460
woman, you know, died by the hands of police brutality.
00:23:34.120
That needs to be righted for history's concern.
00:23:36.960
Police officers that contributed to her violent death have not been investigated.
00:23:41.840
Nobody's questioned them from the state of state select committee.
00:23:44.760
I mean, you know, if you're going to have a select committee with Congress that's supposed
00:23:48.420
to be investigating January 6th, what about investigating each individual death?
00:23:52.740
The women that's blood is spilled inside our Capitol, Ashley Pabbit and Roseanne Boylan.
00:23:57.980
Our blood is on the steps of our United States Capitol.
00:24:00.740
And not one question was asked about these women's deaths at the hands of the police that
00:24:07.620
And so we need a new January 6th select committee.
00:24:10.400
All the Jan 6th members need to be pardoned on day one.
00:24:13.720
And we need to be part of that new investigation hearing so we can tell our side of the story.
00:24:21.040
President Trump, if you're hearing my voice from a prison cell, brother, we love you and
00:24:26.200
And do not let any of the people surrounding you in your orbit tell you that some of the
00:24:31.740
Jan 6ers deserve to remain in this torturous confinement any longer.
00:24:36.480
All of us need to go home and we want accountability for the actions of the FBI and the Capitol Police
00:24:42.960
officers that instigated violence that day and caused all of us to be put in a life or death
00:24:54.340
It wasn't only Ashley Pabbit who lost her life and Roseanne Boylan and the other two folks
00:24:58.820
You guys all lost your lives when you're sitting in jail for three years and you have families
00:25:02.380
at home and you have kids at home and you have family members who have passed away since
00:25:06.860
You have children who have grown up without their fathers, without their mothers, without
00:25:13.740
Yet you have Joe Biden out there parading Liz Cheney, giving her the Presidential Citizens
00:25:19.040
Medal like she's done some sort of good deed for this country.
00:25:22.240
We've now learned Liz Cheney, who's a lawyer nonetheless, Jake, went out and tampered with witnesses,
00:25:29.220
spoke with witnesses without her lawyer, tried to tamper with.
00:25:34.940
I mean, a litany of things that this lady did as a lawyer, yet Joe Biden's out there parading
00:25:41.600
And Benny Thompson, these people are good, Jake.
00:25:47.120
Well, it's such a scheme because they didn't want to show that there was a Republican that
00:25:54.660
was involved in this witch hunt so that they can try to call it bipartisan.
00:26:01.060
And the January 6th Select Committee might as well have been a Soviet show trial.
00:26:05.340
Not a single Dan Sixer or attorneys or anybody that's actually involved in the truth side
00:26:11.020
of this movement, exposing the police brutality, exposing the federal involvement.
00:26:16.860
Where was the inspector general's report saying that there were three dozen active FBI assets
00:26:23.100
and agents on the field that day orchestrating and even entering into the Capitol, being
00:26:30.220
They didn't mention that once at the J6 Select Committee.
00:26:32.720
So that whole committee, every single member needs to be investigated for their due process
00:26:44.740
And instead of us spending four years now in prison for obstruction of Congress, how about
00:26:49.620
the members of Congress themselves who obstructed a legal proceeding that was supposed to happen
00:26:54.520
to give the Americans a fact-finding, real look at January 6th instead of this false Democrat
00:27:00.540
narrative to paint Donald Trump and his supporters as domestic terrorists.
00:27:04.620
That's all they wanted to make sure that in 2024, millions of people would think Donald
00:27:09.400
Trump was some type of domestic extremists and his supporters need to be in prison.
00:27:17.620
But we fought so hard, John, yourself, Lou Dobbs, and all the January 6th community members
00:27:23.700
to expose the truth and tell the real story of January 6th.
00:27:27.900
And we won and look at what happened on November 5th.
00:27:33.520
He's called us righteous and he's called us holy and redeemed.
00:27:45.300
When we come back, I want to take up why it's taken four years a year of government to
00:27:50.540
tell us how many government informants were at January 6th.
00:27:53.480
Four years, Jake, but they came and pulled you out of your house by your shirt just a
00:27:59.780
They had no idea who you were, but they knew who they sent in as government informants into
00:28:05.860
They knew how many people they sent in as agitators that we now know took part in criminal
00:28:11.040
activities, things that if they were on the other side, would have been in jail for,
00:28:16.260
Just because you're a government informant doesn't mean you're allowed to break the law.
00:28:21.300
So I want to take a quick break here, and when we come back, I also want to take up the
00:28:25.080
big event that we're having today in Washington, D.C. to commemorate the four years since January.
00:28:44.540
You know, I got 30 minutes on this video recording, so we got about another 15 minutes on this
00:29:01.020
Folks, we're back with Jake Lang live from the D.C.
00:29:04.420
And as I said before we went to break, hopefully for not much longer, 14 more days.
00:29:08.540
So, Jake, why has it taken the U.S. government almost four years in the IG report to tell
00:29:19.880
us who was at the grounds, the Capitol grounds, on January 6th?
00:29:23.980
They know damn well it's documented somewhere, probably multiple places, Jake.
00:29:31.120
They knew the next day, and they knew the next three and a half to four years that they
00:29:35.520
It took an IG report to tell us how many were there.
00:29:39.180
Why did it take the government that long to tell us how many of their informants were
00:29:48.400
Well, look at, I mean, look at the corrupt answers that we got from Merrick Garland and
00:29:53.000
Christopher Wray, completely spinning the American people, trying to keep us up without any
00:29:58.420
information, obfuscate what they knew, in order to continue to perpetrate this narrative that
00:30:04.340
January 6th is our domestic terrorists, and Donald Trump himself is the ringleader of a
00:30:11.500
I mean, this was all in order to do election interference in 2024, to ensure that they, again,
00:30:21.120
But God, like I told you many times before, if God has you in his will and his plan is
00:30:26.900
for your prosperity, he will move heaven and earth in order to free you, and that's what
00:30:32.480
So it took four years because they wanted to perpetuate a false narrative, and they did
00:30:38.740
They even propped up these Capitol Police officers as heroes.
00:30:43.120
Like you said, Michael Byrd and Officer Dunn and all these people that committed, I mean,
00:30:50.280
sedition against the American people, they took armed weapons and attacked an unarmed
00:30:54.940
crowd at the people's house for simply protesting.
00:30:58.300
These people, in my eyes, are not heroes, and many of them have felt the weight of that.
00:31:04.420
And there has been numerous Capitol Police suicides, I believe, for the shame of their actions of
00:31:10.240
turning their own weapons against an unarmed crowd of Americans that were there to stand
00:31:16.600
And, you know, my heart goes out to their family members to me.
00:31:18.840
Today, on January 6th, we're remembering the deaths, the lives that were lost, the people's,
00:31:24.300
like you said, the four years of incarceration.
00:31:27.240
I know men, brothers of mine, who have been in prison with me for four years, their children
00:31:32.840
They went to prison where their wives were pregnant, and now they have a four-year-old child
00:31:37.460
waiting for them at home that does not even know that.
00:31:39.740
I mean, the amount of loss that has happened, the staggering costs of this, the wake of
00:31:47.700
destruction of what the DOJ and the FBI have done against the American people, our family
00:31:53.840
members have suffered, we have suffered, but God has given us now an amazing story, a testimony
00:32:01.460
of what it's like to remain faithful during persecution and watch it move.
00:32:08.480
The January 6th story does not end with the slamming of a gavel of some corrupt federal
00:32:13.640
court judge trying to sentence us to 22 years in prison, 18 years in prison.
00:32:18.460
It ends when God says it's going to end, and he's using Donald Trump now as his instrument
00:32:24.920
Yeah, I want to turn to something, Jake, before we wrap up and we get to the event of
00:32:31.780
I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist, but I want to turn to something before we get to
00:32:35.140
the event that's happening today in Washington, D.C., the anniversary of January 6th.
00:32:40.540
I don't know if you've been following the story about this fella, Matthew Lavelsberger,
00:32:44.780
the fellow who blew up the Cybertruck in front of the Trump Hotel.
00:32:47.220
And you're going to find out he left behind a letter and a manifesto that he didn't want
00:32:57.320
The letters were unvetted, but as far as we're concerned, as it looks right now, the FBI
00:33:02.720
is saying the letters are most likely from this fella.
00:33:05.720
And in these letters, Jake, he wrote about all the government misdoing and the misdoing
00:33:10.920
that the government is doing and how we're committing war crimes and we're doing this and we're
00:33:16.820
letting China take over this and this and this.
00:33:19.040
And as I'm reading this manifesto, it just brought back all the parallels as I think
00:33:24.320
about January 6th today, all the parallels of the misdoing of the government on that
00:33:30.360
And this man's cry out, what it seems was a cry out for help, by all accounts, people
00:33:35.280
are saying who knew him, that he could have taken down the whole hotel if he wanted to
00:33:40.580
It was attacked because this man was crying out for help because of government corruption.
00:33:45.240
And all it resonates with me, Jake, as we sit here on January 6th, is the government
00:33:51.460
corruption that happened on this very day, four years ago.
00:33:56.060
Guys, this is so important, what I'm about to say, because the American people, through
00:34:01.520
acts like January 6th and the years of persecution, have become extremely disenfranchised in our
00:34:07.820
institutions and our criminal justice system and even our voting system.
00:34:12.160
This is the kind of things that they're doing in order to have their voices heard.
00:34:16.120
This is what happens when you let institutions crumble the moral fabric of our society to
00:34:21.160
such a point where people feel like their votes aren't being counted, their voices aren't
00:34:25.720
being heard, they're being censored and taken off social media.
00:34:29.320
The government is after them with these huge mass surveillance programs.
00:34:34.960
As we're learning now, the January 6th set up a new financial surveillance system that
00:34:41.660
the banks have now done, turning people in if they're buying products with the code or
00:34:49.960
The government tapped in illegally to all of the different financial systems at Bank of
00:34:55.040
America and whatnot in order to get the financial records of January 6ers.
00:34:59.960
And so this was another scheme like a 9-11 Patriot Act that the government perpetrated against
00:35:06.040
we the people in order to steal more of our rights and in order to scare people from ever
00:35:10.980
standing up again peacefully to protest a stolen election or any other tyrannical act that the
00:35:18.140
And so my heart goes out to this man because he's looking at me in prison saying this guy
00:35:28.960
John, I fear very much that this type of action is going to continue to happen in America unless
00:35:34.660
we restore trust in our institutions in this country, because people are disenfranchised.
00:35:41.280
They've seen what happened to the Jan Sixers and they are disgusted.
00:35:44.520
And the only voice they have left is sometimes they feel to do things of this nature.
00:35:49.620
So part of make America great again, what we need to ensure Donald Trump does and what
00:35:53.860
we all do as American men and women involved in this political process is restore the sacred
00:36:04.400
We cannot railroad conservatives through the Washington, D.C. system and give them decades
00:36:09.660
of prison for protesting at the United States Capitol or else more stuff like this may happen
00:36:16.000
Yeah, and I just want to for the audience, I'm not parading what this man did.
00:36:20.920
I don't want the mainstream media to come out here and say I'm parading people who are
00:36:26.660
But what I'm simply saying is we need to start looking into the deeper meaning of things of
00:36:34.160
Years ago, we saw an explosion in Nashville on Christmas Day for a man who was as well wanting
00:36:41.100
And like I said, I'm not parading these actions, but in this man's letter, Jake, I want to
00:36:47.860
We must move on from the culture and weakness of self-enrichment perpetuated by our senior
00:37:03.700
Americans only pay attention to spectacles and violence.
00:37:06.680
What better way to get my point across than a stunt with fireworks and explosives?
00:37:12.040
I needed to cleanse my mind of brothers I've lost and relieve myself of the burden of the
00:37:18.860
Jake, as I was saying, I don't want to parade the actions of this man who blew up the car
00:37:24.720
But I do want people to start looking into the deeper meaning of things and why things
00:37:30.480
As I said, this man wanted to take down the hotel by all accounts.
00:37:33.640
Everyone who knew this man and his capabilities, go look at his security clearance and the security
00:37:41.060
He was a legit military officer with high level clearances.
00:37:45.740
But I just want to read an excerpt from what he had left behind his apparent manifesto.
00:37:50.660
Quote, we must move on from the culture of weakness and self-enrichment perpetuated by
00:37:58.640
Our soldiers are done fighting wars without end states or clear objectives.
00:38:05.160
Americans only pay attention to spectacles and violence.
00:38:08.380
What better way to get my point across than a stuntman fireworks and explosives?
00:38:13.920
I needed to cleanse my mind of the brothers I've lost and relieve myself of the burden of
00:38:19.380
As we said before, Jake, a man clearly crying out for help as he's clearly had a troubled
00:38:25.580
past, whether it's the military or some of the things that he's been tasked with doing.
00:38:29.400
Don't you think it's time that we start looking into the meaning of things about what exactly
00:38:42.060
And, you know, one of the questions that I'm often asked being a January 6th is why did you
00:38:47.960
And, you know, what stirred you to standing up in that manner?
00:38:52.460
And people don't remember an entire year of police state lockdowns from COVID-2020 and
00:38:59.520
how upset we were and how all Democrats, city mayors and governors across the country
00:39:08.040
And Joe Biden and the Democrats, when they stole 2020, it really signaled to the American
00:39:13.600
people that it was just going to be like a permanent police state.
00:39:16.220
Because, as you remember, like Ron DeSantis and all the Republican governors were keeping
00:39:20.880
their states open and their cities, you know, flourishing.
00:39:23.800
And I lived in New York City and I lived in literal clues and like this dystopian 1984 nightmare.
00:39:31.580
And so if you look at the cause and effect of January 6th, you can also start to relate.
00:39:36.620
If you ask any Jan Xer, we were tired of being on a year's worth of this COVID mask mandate
00:39:42.780
lockdown, forced vaccination nonsense, and then they stole the election on top of that.
00:39:48.480
And then that's, you know, what led to that internal, you know, almost prehistoric kind
00:39:56.420
We just said, we've had enough of being cowards and running and we're going to take this Capitol
00:40:01.200
building, whether, you know, whether they like it or not, they attacked us first and
00:40:06.080
So, you know, you have to look at the cause and effect of things to get a full scope of
00:40:10.400
really what's happened to January 6th and other events like this.
00:40:14.300
And Jake, the quote, destruction you guys did there on January 6th wasn't an ounce of
00:40:22.200
what Black Lives Matter and Antifa did in the summer of love in 2020, burning down full cities,
00:40:31.440
I mean, you look at what happens in Chicago every single weekend.
00:40:33.980
That's a hundred times worse, in my opinion, than anything that happened on January 6th.
00:40:38.180
Yet, you know, they needed a way, a means to an end on how to get rid of Donald Trump.
00:40:42.680
Little did they know it would only add, no pun intended, gas to the fire because Donald
00:40:47.460
Trump is now stronger than he's ever been before.
00:40:49.720
Before we wrap up, I want to get your thoughts on Mike Johnson being a reelected speaker.
00:40:53.980
One of the reasons I can't stand the man is I think he's a liar.
00:40:57.100
And if you go on Twitter, people call you a rhino if you didn't support him because President
00:41:04.220
This is one of them I disagree with him respectfully on.
00:41:07.400
Mike Johnson, when he became speaker, said he was going to release all the January 6th tapes, Jake.
00:41:11.840
We still don't have all the tapes that he says he was going to release.
00:41:17.880
Well, because I want to blur out everyone's face who was there who hasn't been arrested yet.
00:41:27.140
If that's the real reason and you're not part of a deep state operation, where's the tape, Mr. Speaker?
00:41:32.520
Yeah, I mean, you know, Mike Johnson did release some tapes, but he left us hanging.
00:41:41.060
I think it was only about 10,000 hours out of 40,000 hours.
00:41:45.200
And, you know, there's further action than just releasing the tapes that he could have done,
00:41:51.280
I mean, listen, this 2024 election with President Donald Trump winning was an act of God.
00:41:57.360
But we had a Republican Congress for the last two years that did absolutely nothing for the January 6th, which he was the leader of.
00:42:06.020
And so, you know, we had a couple different, you know, ways out of this scenario.
00:42:12.140
One of them would have been Congress taking the reins of control, doing a real January 6th select committee,
00:42:17.600
and finding out that all of the perpetrators in the crowd and all of these different, you know, CHSs,
00:42:24.380
the confidential human sources and stuff, they didn't care about us.
00:42:27.860
Speaker Johnson allowed the January 6th persecution to be swept under the rug,
00:42:33.340
while for two years we had a Republican majority and they did nothing.
00:42:37.640
So, you know, for that, just for that reason alone, that's cowardice.
00:42:41.020
And, you know, I can't stand by a man that doesn't stand by his constituents.
00:42:55.240
I'd rather you tell me to go off myself to my face than lie to my face.
00:43:00.120
And by this man doing what he's done, he's done both because he's lied about everything.
00:43:05.520
He's gave the Democrats more than he's given the Republicans.
00:43:08.380
Yet, we reelect this man in the eyes of the folks on Twitter.
00:43:14.680
I guess we're going to learn the hard way like we did with Paul Ryan.
00:43:22.600
I've apparently been invited to come speak today.
00:43:25.120
Tell us about what's happening today, this afternoon in Washington, D.C.,
00:43:28.720
where I will be flying into later this afternoon.
00:43:39.040
The January Sixers, we have launched a press conference called the J6 Pardon Press Conference.
00:43:44.300
It's at the prestigious Hyatt Regency Grand Ballroom in Washington, D.C.
00:43:51.340
And this time, we have come for accountability.
00:43:54.180
And we've come to tell the truth of what's happened to us this last four years
00:43:57.840
and the truth of the stolen election and the truth of the false insurrection.
00:44:06.960
By the time you hear this, it's probably the live streams already going on the Gateway Pundits Rumble and X page.
00:44:16.340
Rewatch it, whatever you've missed, because our speaker lineup is incredible.
00:44:20.100
We have Laura Logan, Mike Lindell, Jim Hoff, Cara Castronova, Matt Wallace, my own buddy right here, John Fawcett's going to be speaking,
00:44:31.620
and so many more, Professor David Clements, Isabella Maria DeLuca.
00:44:36.560
We've got Patrick Byrne, former CEO, billionaire of Overstock.
00:44:41.100
These are the types of people that are standing with us in solidarity.
00:44:45.420
We have one message for President Trump and for his incoming administration.
00:44:52.100
Leave no Jan Sixer behind to rot in a gulag for the next decade or two decades.
00:44:58.240
And that's why the communities come together in solidarity to call upon the cabinet and the people that are going to be looking at these pardons and say that everyone must go.
00:45:08.320
Whether it's commutation of sentences or full pardons of innocence, we cannot allow any Jan Sixers to remain incarcerated in these inhumane, torturous conditions that they have me in here.
00:45:20.560
President Trump said it himself in a recent interview on NBC, that the gulag that I'm in right now, the D.C. jail, is not fit for human beings.
00:45:32.380
And I believe that his heart is going to be led by God on day one in just 14 days to pardon all the Jan Sixers.
00:45:43.060
Go to Gateway Pundit's X page right now and hit the live stream and join us.
00:45:47.180
And, folks, we'll be streaming at our pages as well.
00:45:49.500
And, Jake, I want you to know it takes a lot to get me to leave my studio here in New York unless I'm going to a beach or a ski slope somewhere out west.
00:45:57.680
But, you know what, for you guys, I'm honored to do it because this is something I've told you many times that we've spoken that was near and dear to Lou's heart.
00:46:04.660
And all the work that Lou wanted to do on this and all the work that Lou did do on this now has been put down to me.
00:46:09.780
And it's an honor for me to do it for you guys.
00:46:15.400
And I'm looking forward to talking with you, Jake, and hopefully in the coming months meeting you in person once you're out of that hellhole.
00:46:26.280
Of course, I think Lou Dobbs would have been there live in person himself.
00:46:29.580
So it's only right you follow the man in his big, giant footsteps he's got that you're feeling quite well, my brother.
00:46:35.880
Thank you for your support of our cause, pardoning all Jan Sixers on day one is how we begin to refuel the fire of faith and trust that we have in our institutions and just the fabric of American life and culture.
00:46:51.180
Without pardoning the Jan Sixers, we cannot begin to make America great again.
00:46:55.380
It's like the sewing up the wound that's bleeding.
00:46:58.620
This is a wound that is just, I mean, blood is pouring out, God forbid, it's a very, you know, kind of visceral imagery I'm giving you guys.
00:47:08.800
But truly think about 1,500 families that have their men, you know, being persecuted and dragged into this baphomet Democrat courtroom that they're just destroying our lives.
00:47:22.960
We need to fill in this gap before we can cross the bridge.
00:47:27.020
Again, as I said, I hope to meet Jake one day in person.
00:47:29.580
I've spoken to him so many times via messages and on this show.
00:47:33.640
I hope to meet him one day in person, hopefully one day very, very soon.
00:47:39.340
And once again, thanks for joining us in this new year, our first show back of the new year.
00:47:44.100
I want to wish you all a happy and healthy new year.
00:47:46.540
And I hope this year, this 2025 is more prosperous than any year preceding this year and that you have a happy and a healthy, blessed new year to you, your families and your loved ones.
00:47:59.800
Folks, we're going to see you right back here tomorrow.
00:48:01.640
Same time, same place for the Great America Show.
00:48:04.500
We're looking forward to it and our journey continues for truth, justice and the American way.
00:48:15.500
May God bless America and may God bless the great Lou Dobbs.
