00:01:14.940 Hello, everybody. I'm Lou Dimes. Welcome to the Great America Show. Great to have you with us.
00:01:23.360 President Trump dominating the first in the nation primary last night in New Hampshire.
00:01:28.560 President steamrolling rhino neocon Nikki Haley is expected. Heading now into Nevada,
00:01:35.060 South Carolina and Michigan with almost unstoppable momentum. President Trump had this to say in his
00:01:41.200 victory speech last night. Well, I want to thank everybody. This is a fantastic state.
00:01:49.260 This is a great, great state. You know, we won New Hampshire three times now. Three.
00:01:57.900 We win it every time. We win the primary. We win the generals. We've won it. And it's a very,
00:02:04.040 very special place to me. It's very important. If you remember in 2016, we came here and we needed
00:02:09.900 that winner. We won by 21 points and it was great. And today I have to tell you, it was very
00:02:16.860 interesting because I said, wow, what a great victory. But then somebody ran up to the stage
00:02:22.100 all dressed up nicely when it was at seven. But now I just walked up and it's at 14.
00:02:28.300 But she ran up when it was seven. And, you know, we have to do what's good for our party.
00:02:37.600 And she was up and I said, wow, she's doing like a speech like she won. She didn't win. She lost.
00:02:44.620 And, you know, last last week we had a little bit of a problem. And if you remember, Ron was very
00:02:52.160 upset because she ran up and she pretended she won Iowa. And I looked around. I said,
00:02:59.160 didn't she come in third? Yeah, she came in third. And then I looked at the polls. She was talking
00:03:04.260 about most winnability, who's going to win. And I had one put up. I don't know if you see it,
00:03:09.100 but I have one put up. We've won almost every single poll in the last three months against
00:03:14.760 Crook of Joe Biden. Almost every poll. And she doesn't win those polls.
00:03:21.000 And she doesn't win those. This is not your typical victory speech, but let's not have somebody
00:03:26.200 take a victory when she had a very bad night. She had a very bad night.
00:03:32.360 Lame duck Vice President Kamala Harris once again telling a lie. Is it me or does it seem like every
00:03:38.060 time she talks? She's lying. Harris on CNN acknowledging we have a border crisis,
00:03:44.200 but insisting at the same time, she and Joe Biden addressed it on their first day in office.
00:03:50.520 But the Republicans blocked it. An unsustainable border, what they're calling a crisis.
00:03:56.500 Why can't this be accomplished during this administration? Well, so there is no question
00:04:03.660 that our immigration system is broken. And so much so that we, as the first bill that we offered
00:04:12.720 after our inauguration, was to fix the immigration system, which included what we must do to create
00:04:20.140 a pathway for citizenship and to put the resources that are needed into the border. But sadly, people
00:04:26.680 on the other side of the aisle have been playing politics with this issue. The solutions are at hand.
00:04:32.680 And, you know, gone are the days, sadly, where a President Bush or John McCain understood that
00:04:42.320 we should have a bipartisan approach to fixing this problem, which is a longstanding problem.
00:04:48.120 But what are those solutions?
00:04:49.660 The solutions include putting resources at the border to do what we can to process people effectively
00:04:55.920 and putting in place laws that actually allow for a meaningful, meaningful pathway to citizenship.
00:05:02.320 The woman is pathological. The only thing the Biden administration has done is to turn that
00:05:07.940 border over to the Mexican drug cartels. Our guest today is the chairman of the House Judiciary
00:05:14.440 Committee, Jim Jordan. Mr. Chairman, thank you for being with us. Let's turn first to these new
00:05:19.320 allegations that the Treasury Department was flagging MAGA transactions, looking for terms like
00:05:25.640 make America great, America first. What in the world is going on?
00:05:31.240 Yeah, no, it sure is. It looks like the government banks were at this suggestion. I use that term
00:05:38.120 lightly at the suggestion of government banks were monitoring transactions, searching for key terms,
00:05:45.500 key search terms, like, as you described, MAGA, Trump, Patriot, those kind of things. And also,
00:05:51.900 frankly, looking to see where their customers were shopping. They had these merchant category codes.
00:05:58.460 Were they shopping at a Cabela's, at a Bass Pro shop? Were they looking for religious tech? So you step
00:06:05.700 back and you say they're doing all this. It looks like without any warrant, without any legal process,
00:06:11.040 pretty scary stuff. And we first kind of learned about this when an FBI whistleblower came to us
00:06:18.300 and said, showed us this email between the government and Bank of America, where Bank of America was asked
00:06:24.720 to go look at all debit and credit card purchases around January 6, 2021, in the Washington, D.C. area,
00:06:32.380 and then overlay that information with any gun purchase at any time. Again, I think a real concern
00:06:41.940 about First Amendment, Second Amendment, Fourth Amendment liberties of Americans. So this is why
00:06:47.640 we're digging into it. We're just on the front edge of this, and we've got a lot of work to do,
00:06:51.900 but pretty troubling what we've seen thus far.
00:06:53.880 The only gun that I'm aware of on the Capitol grounds on January 6 was a automatic pistol fired by
00:07:04.100 Lieutenant Michael Byrd. Am I wrong?
00:07:06.560 No, I think that's exactly right. And, you know, this stuff, these documents, these initial documents
00:07:13.720 that we've received, they actually sound a lot like, if you remember about a year ago, that memorandum
00:07:21.580 from the Richmond field office of the FBI, where they were saying, if you're a pro-life traditional
00:07:26.960 Catholic, you're a potential domestic violent extremist. And it's the same kind of language,
00:07:33.280 the same kind of feel in these initial documents we've gotten. It sounds a lot like that memorandum
00:07:39.820 put out by the FBI a year ago in Richmond.
00:07:44.140 And now we know from the U.S. attorney in D.C. that they have widened their search for more
00:07:50.920 political prisoners and January 6, individuals who were just walking on the grounds, perhaps
00:07:57.600 hundreds of feet away from the Capitol. They're still looking to arrest more Americans.
00:08:03.800 Your work here is going to be exceptionally important, I think, for the Republic.
00:08:10.620 I'm just curious, did they include words like Biden or dementia or anything of that order?
00:08:17.800 Now, we do think there was some words, we've seen one document, where this is just as troubling,
00:08:26.480 where they, I think, referenced Antifa and I think BLM maybe. I'm not sure, but there were
00:08:35.180 some other words that were referenced. That should be just as troubling, because the government
00:08:39.340 is not supposed to be in the business of looking at people's political persuasion and political
00:08:46.480 beliefs, that to me, again, is a direct attack on the First Amendment. And whether you're
00:08:53.160 a Republican, a Democrat, an independent, a liberal, conservative, whatever, we should
00:08:58.180 all care about First Amendment, Second Amendment, Fourth Amendment liberties that we enjoy under
00:09:02.200 our great Constitution.
00:09:04.540 Yeah, no doubt about it. And let's turn to the Biden investigations. Your committee, prominent
00:09:11.640 amongst those committees, Hunter Biden, in the form of what's being styled in the popular media,
00:09:20.600 the sugar brother, Kevin Morris, the attorney, $5 million worth of loans. We don't know what,
00:09:26.720 really, a lot more. He called them standard interest bearing notes. And it turns out,
00:09:32.800 just coincidentally, now that you're investigating that, the Congress is investigating it,
00:09:37.900 that it's a standard interest bearing note, and just happens to prove that they have to demand
00:09:45.280 interest at least once every year. I mean, this is too cute for words, the game that they're playing.
00:09:52.860 Yeah, well, the other thing that was interesting about this, Mr. Morris, is, you know, Hunter Biden
00:09:56.040 sold a million and a half dollars worth of art. Well, $875,000 of that million and a half dollars
00:10:00.780 over the last couple of years came from Kevin Morris. And when we interviewed the art gallerist,
00:10:06.560 Mr. Burgess, who handled these, Hunter Biden's art and displayed his art in his gallery,
00:10:12.220 when Kevin Morris bought Hunter Biden's art, it was the only art sale that was done different than
00:10:18.160 all the others. Typical art sale is the person purchasing the art piece will pay the gallery the
00:10:25.600 full price, the gallery keeps their percentage, and then the percentage that goes to the artist,
00:10:30.420 Hunter Biden, gets sent in a check with a 1099 to the artist. Well, with Kevin Morris,
00:10:35.600 it was the one art sale that went different. He bought several paintings. He only paid, though,
00:10:40.940 the money to the art gallerist. So he only paid the 40% that the gallerist keeps. And then how the
00:10:47.640 other 60% was handled between Hunter Biden and Kevin Morris, I don't know. We don't know. So I thought
00:10:53.520 that was interesting, too. So you have this, most of the purchases made, actually, of the $1.5 million in
00:10:59.320 art that Hunter Biden sold went to a couple individuals, Kevin Morris and another individual,
00:11:03.940 who are both Democrat donors. So I think that's interesting as well.
00:11:07.780 Very interesting. And I can't wait to see what answers you bring forth on all of this. Also,
00:11:14.040 you're investigating Fannie Willis, the prosecutor in Fulton County, Georgia, against President Trump
00:11:22.040 and what is it, 16, 17 others for election interference. Give us give us a sense, if you
00:11:30.720 will, of where that stands. Well, we've got we've asked questions to Nathan Wade in this
00:11:35.120 this investigate. First, we think this is crazy. Remember, Fannie Willis indicted 19 people. And
00:11:40.160 then she was also we found out a few weeks after her original indictment several months ago that she
00:11:44.420 was actually looking at indicting three United States senators, including the top Republican on
00:11:51.020 the Senate Judiciary Committee. So that's how ridiculous this whole thing was and is. And now
00:11:59.180 we find out that this Mr. Wade, this Nathan Wade, who's never dealt with any kind of RICO statute,
00:12:04.080 which is what what the focus of this investigation is about, never dealt with that, never handled these
00:12:10.300 kind of cases. And he's been he's been paid a ton of Georgia state tax dollars and probably some
00:12:15.700 federal money, too, because their office got 14 million in federal grants that the Fulton County
00:12:21.420 DA's office did. So we've we've written Mr. Wade and said, who'd you talk to at the White House?
00:12:26.480 Who'd you talk to in the Justice Department? What kind of communications did you have with those
00:12:29.700 entities? And and the same with the January 6th committee. So we're awaiting a response from Mr.
00:12:35.360 Wade. But we continue to dig into this because we think this is highly unusual.
00:12:39.860 And and a real concern and just kind of underscores how ridiculous this whole operation
00:12:45.580 has been by Miss Wade and Miss Willis. Excuse me. We're talking with the chairman of the House
00:12:50.160 Judiciary Committee, Congressman Jim Jordan. We're going to continue the conversation right
00:12:55.060 after these quick words. Stay with us. We'll be right back.
00:13:01.400 Lou Dobbs here. I'm delighted to let you all know that the program Lou Dobbs tonight has returned to the air.
00:13:08.220 That's right. Lou Dobbs tonight is back. We're live each and every weeknight at 7 p.m.
00:13:15.940 Eastern and 6 p.m. Central on Rumble dot com slash Lou Dobbs. That's Rumble dot com slash Lou Dobbs.
00:13:24.940 I hope you'll be joining us for Lou Dobbs tonight as our fight to save this country has only begun.
00:13:37.460 We're talking with the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Chairman Jim Jordan.
00:13:42.480 Mr. Chairman, Kevin Morris, this attorney, keeps insinuating himself into the Hunter Biden affair.
00:13:51.080 He confirms that he owns now Hunter Biden's 10 percent stake in that Chinese state-backed investment fund.
00:13:59.800 Is that a does that look to be a security for a five million dollar loan?
00:14:05.580 What does that appear to be?
00:14:08.000 Well, that's another thing that we're we're looking at.
00:14:11.600 In particular, Chairman Comer and the Oversight Committee is dug into this whole CEFC, this Chinese energy company,
00:14:20.360 the money that flowed in initially to to one of one of the many entities that Hunter Biden had set up this five million dollars.
00:14:30.420 So we're looking at all that as as as part of this impeachment inquiry.
00:14:35.960 You know, was was this in any way this influence peddling, this access to the brand as as Hunter Biden's business partner,
00:14:44.300 Devin Archer, told us, how did that all play it play out? How did that all work?
00:14:48.000 So those are the kind of questions we have. We have a number of witnesses who are coming in.
00:14:52.020 Rob Walker, Eric Schwerin, Tony Bobulinski, Jim Biden and Hunter Biden over the next four weeks.
00:14:59.700 We'll be talking with all those individuals. And and these are the kind of questions we need answers to.
00:15:05.660 A lot of investigation headed toward one purpose, and that is to see whether you'll bring impeachment against the president of the United States.
00:15:14.440 Where do you think the process stands right now?
00:15:17.260 Now, when do you and let me ask this, how supportive is the current speaker of the House, Mike Johnson?
00:15:27.260 Well, he's 100 percent in favor of us continuing this impeachment inquiry and whether we get articles of impeachment,
00:15:33.900 be a decision that we'll make once we've we've done all the interviews and we've got all the evidence.
00:15:37.520 But I do think the case right now is pretty compelling, particularly when you think about this Ukrainian energy company,
00:15:42.660 Burisma and the Biden family's involvement there. And in particular, Joe Biden firing the prosecutor who was looking into the to the CEO of Burisma.
00:15:51.640 And Hunter Biden asked asked Washington to weigh in to relieve the pressure that they were under.
00:15:56.860 And Joe Biden did looks like he did just that. So I think that's pretty compelling stuff that we have now.
00:16:02.400 And then you couple that with the way David Weiss has investigated Hunter Biden, in particular, allowing the statute of limitations to expire for those key tax years where Hunter Biden was getting all this income from Burisma.
00:16:16.520 And he let that expire because I mean, I don't know why, but it sure looks like he let it expire because Burisma gets you back towards tied in with with President Biden.
00:16:25.640 And so those are the kind of things that I think are pretty compelling right now.
00:16:30.020 But we've got to finish up these final interviews and then make a decision.
00:16:34.000 And as you do make those decisions and as you're learning more, the country, obviously, you're investigating committees, your committee and ways and means,
00:16:45.300 the House Oversight Committee, your weaponization subcommittee are having an impact.
00:16:49.420 In the most recent polling, we're seeing 60 percent of Americans believe that this administration is corrupt.
00:16:59.080 Your reaction to what is a an interesting change of mood on the part of the American people?
00:17:06.860 Well, we don't we don't we don't do our oversight work for any type of, you know, political motive or anything like that.
00:17:12.740 We do it because it's our constitutional duty to conduct oversight of the executive branch.
00:17:16.760 But I but I do understand, like, you know, out in Iowa a week ago, we were a week and a half ago.
00:17:22.440 We're out there with President Trump and, you know, he won the state in a big way.
00:17:26.120 One of the things that was on Iowa's mind, I think polling showed eight out of 10 Iowans who were showing up to vote in the Republican primary believe that the government has been weaponized against them.
00:17:35.060 These agencies have been turned against we, the people, the taxpayers.
00:17:37.620 And they believe that they they they think that because it's true, because they have common sense and they can see whether it's a disinformation governance board that they try to set up at the Department of Homeland Security, whether it's the Catholic memorandum, whether it's parents or terrorists, according to the Department of Justice.
00:17:53.480 And on and on and on, all the all the attacks on President Trump and his family.
00:17:56.960 And so I think Americans just have good common sense and they see what's going on.
00:18:03.220 And that's why eight out of 10 say we think the government's been weaponized against it.
00:18:07.200 It's our job as members of Congress to do the oversight so that we can stop this behavior and propose legislation that will help make sure it doesn't happen in the future.
00:18:15.500 And and and now still as current as when it was convened, the January 6th committee, the more we learn, the more troubling the facts are obstruction of justice, an explosive report showing the Trump hating January 6th committee deleted, deleted evidence pertinent to the prosecution of a number of individuals.
00:18:42.580 But but but but in absolute, in absolute breach of law to do so, where does that stand?
00:18:51.260 And in your estimation, how how severe is the this issue?
00:18:58.920 Well, I know Chairman Stile and Representative Loudermilk on the House Administration Committee, which has jurisdiction over those those those documents from the January 6th committee are digging into that issue.
00:19:12.580 It looks like also that the committee, based on, I think, letters that former chairman Benny Thompson put out, that they sent information back to the White House instead of making it available for the Congress to see, for Republicans to see.
00:19:28.780 They sent it back to the Biden White House.
00:19:31.180 And I think that's problematic as well.
00:19:33.880 So these are the kind of things that I know Congressman Loudermilk in particular is looking into a great member from the from the great state of Georgia.
00:19:43.280 And to that point, we're going to take up with the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Congressman Jim Jordan.
00:19:50.420 And we're going to take up exactly where we are with all of the all of the January 6th issues that are still in play and including the videos that have not been released by two Republican speakers of the House, both of whom promised to do so.
00:20:09.240 We'll be right back.
00:20:10.280 We're talking with Congressman Jim Jordan.
00:20:12.220 Stay with us.
00:20:12.780 We're back now.
00:20:19.480 We're talking with Congressman Jim Jordan, chairman of the House House Judiciary Committee.
00:20:24.800 Congressman, the the issues here are extraordinary.
00:20:29.660 But when that January 6th committee is is front and center, we know that it wasn't properly organized or or authorized constitutionally.
00:20:41.320 We know also that that committee deleted emails, evidence.
00:20:46.720 And we know that the two speakers of the House that have succeeded Pelosi have still not released the videos.
00:20:55.080 I guess the way to start is what's going on here with the Republican leadership?
00:20:59.660 Well, I know that I know both Secretary McCarthy and Speaker Johnson are trying to get as much of that information out as possible.
00:21:05.380 I know a lot of it has been released out there for people to see.
00:21:09.440 I think there's there's some concern about I think Speaker Johnson raised an issue about people who who were maybe in the background and who weren't engaged in any type of violent activity.
00:21:21.560 And he raised that issue and some others about his concern about all of it being released.
00:21:26.780 But I do think we should err on the side of transparency and get as much information out as we possibly can on for releasing it at all.
00:21:33.460 But, you know, that's that's in the end, a call for the speaker.
00:21:36.920 It is a call for the speaker.
00:21:38.380 And and what I what I hate is that, you know, these are these are conditions that are post promise.
00:21:47.840 I don't understand why this has not been released.
00:21:51.300 There's there may be a security issue, but you could you know, the way the spending is going, you could raise another 200 million dollars and fix whatever the security issue is.
00:22:00.020 We've got hundreds of lives at stake right now, people who have been in the D.C. gulag.
00:22:06.820 They are hostages, as President Trump said, of this Marxist, dim party that has gone to war against the American people.
00:22:16.540 Why cannot anyone get through to this speaker and say, release the damn videos because there are attorneys and and defendants and victims of this ideological conflict who deserve their their freedom?
00:22:34.340 Yeah, no, I know.
00:22:35.560 And I think the speaker is trying to do all he can.
00:22:37.920 And I'm sure he's getting, you know, talking to the to the lawyers and getting the best legal counsel he can on what he can release, what he can't.
00:22:45.640 So we'll just have to keep pressing ahead, trying to get the truth out there and trying to get due process for for individuals who've been arrested.
00:22:55.000 You know, that's that's that's supposed to be the hallmark of one of the hallmarks of our great Constitution is is due process in a timely fashion.
00:23:02.040 And so that's one of the things we've got to continue to press.
00:23:05.360 And we do what we appreciate the whistleblowers have come forward and helped us deal with this situation.
00:23:10.320 And we'll continue to work with them as well.
00:23:12.920 And I want to conclude with a trial, a bench trial that's going on right now in Georgia.
00:23:19.300 Judge Amy Totenberg presiding over a case that will decide from the 2020 election actually goes to a six year old case, if you can believe this,
00:23:28.820 in which just yesterday, one of the very top election machine authorities actually changed the votes for all of the machines used in Georgia with a pen, a pen he borrowed, by the way, from the the stand at the defendant.
00:23:48.020 It flipped the machines, flipped the results and showed that there were over, well, unlimited vulnerabilities.
00:23:55.920 And now the issue is whether or not Georgia will be forced to remove those machines and replace them with something better, say, a paper ballot.
00:24:05.780 Your thoughts about what's going on?
00:24:08.080 Well, I do think Americans in general, both Republicans and Democrats, independents across the board, I think, want one.
00:24:16.060 You know, they want to they want to have confidence in their election process.
00:24:20.200 I like the system we do in our great state where every time you when you walk into the polling location, there are two Republicans, two Democrats sitting there.
00:24:27.880 You have to show an I.D. You have to do signature verification.
00:24:31.500 There is a paper ballot that you color in the circles and it's scanned into the machine.
00:24:35.220 So there's a paper trail. To me, that's the kind of system we need in all the states.
00:24:39.620 That it's it's so basic and it's and it's quick.
00:24:42.680 You get results in a timely fashion, but you have the paper trail as well.
00:24:46.740 I think that is that is a smart way to to do this.
00:24:50.660 As you say, the ideal way to do it.
00:24:53.000 Thanks so much, Congressman. Appreciate your time.
