00:00:00.000 Welcome back to The Roger Stone Show.
00:00:06.300 Joining me now is John Fawcett.
00:00:08.560 John Fawcett hosts the American Podcaster.
00:00:11.300 John Fawcett is a longtime associate of the great Lou Dobbs.
00:00:15.400 I think it's fair to say that John and I both learned a lot about politics from the great Lou Dobbs.
00:00:20.440 John also learned a lot about politics from the gritty streets of Staten Island,
00:00:27.340 where you learn how politics really works.
00:00:29.340 He has a great podcast. I try to join him at least once a week.
00:00:33.440 John and I have something in common. We actually tell you what we really think.
00:00:37.300 We don't really care what people think about that.
00:00:39.960 John, welcome to The Roger Stone Show.
00:00:43.040 Honored to be with you today on your show.
00:00:45.240 As you said, you're with me every week, and it's a delight and honor to have you there
00:00:49.080 from one of the most brilliant, brilliant political minds to ever walk this earth.
00:00:54.960 Well, that's very kind of you.
00:00:57.160 I think you can be found on virtually every platform.
00:00:59.620 It is indispensable watching.
00:01:01.540 John is not a Washington insider, but he's got a Washington insider's knowledge of what's going on in the swamp.
00:01:09.580 And we really we get through a lot of material in an hour long show sometimes because there is so much going on.
00:01:18.300 Let's kind of start at the top.
00:01:19.960 Christy Noem, clearly a face saving appointment envoy to an organization that was formed yesterday.
00:01:27.340 Now talking openly about the possibility of trying to challenge Senator Rounds in South Dakota,
00:01:35.960 which would be a way to rehabilitate her career.
00:01:38.340 But I still think she will be weighed down by the epic corruption of and boorish behavior of Corey Lewandowski.
00:01:46.060 And I suspect there will be investigations about his manipulation of contracts and other ethical problems at DHS.
00:01:55.300 There's no doubt about that.
00:01:58.960 It's indisputable.
00:01:59.760 The fact, Roger, that we saw yesterday, as you mentioned, the event at Doral down in Florida at President Trump's property there,
00:02:07.880 Corey Lewandowski sitting front row, I think is just a slap in the face and brazen, as I believe is part of the reason why she was demoted.
00:02:16.340 Now, there are some people who would tell you this was 5D chess, that she was being promoted.
00:02:20.600 But, you know, I both know that, you know, having the role taken from you running DHS to this new position she's in now is a clear demotion in the way of President Trump.
00:02:30.660 You know, President Trump for 40 years.
00:02:32.760 I think I joked the other day, you know better than anyone how kind this man is, how kind he is.
00:02:38.240 And the things he does for people who aren't always loyal to him and don't always have his best interests.
00:02:43.220 So this was akin from President Trump to help her save face.
00:02:48.120 Running for a Senate race with all of the baggage that she carries, Roger, if the alleged affair is true, I think there's probably more.
00:02:56.920 As Lou Dobbs used to say, well, it seems like something's wrong, Roger.
00:02:59.960 You lift up the rug, there's probably a mouse under there.
00:03:02.460 It seems like she's got a few mice.
00:03:04.540 Well, I mean, look, there's no question in this case where Corey attended a Republican dinner in Las Vegas,
00:03:10.700 Scott Trunk followed this woman, Odom, to her door, pounding on the door, bragging about his sexual prowess.
00:03:19.520 She complained to her husband, and her husband called the cops.
00:03:22.720 The matter was ultimately dropped, but he was fired from his job at MAGA.
00:03:28.340 Well, there's no question that it is a demotion, but the larger question here is this $220 million media contract,
00:03:37.560 which, by the way, I believe is actually one of two.
00:03:40.440 So there's a $220 million media contract to buy television ads, both internationally and in the United States,
00:03:47.440 urging people to self-deport.
00:03:50.380 But they star, Kristi Noem in a cowboy hat riding a horse at Mount Rushmore.
00:03:55.600 This is Corey's idea of image building.
00:03:58.520 I heard the president, when she testified the president had approved this program,
00:04:03.220 I'm told the president had no memory of that, was very, very displeased.
00:04:07.860 And, of course, if you trace it back, this no-bid contract,
00:04:11.120 which was given on a no-bid basis as discretionary spending as an emergency act,
00:04:16.780 ends up in the hands of a company that was formed the day before they received the funds,
00:04:23.980 but then immediately transfers the $143 million to a company owned by a current or former partner,
00:04:32.400 Corey Lewandowski's in Louisiana,
00:04:34.880 with the rest of the money going to the political consulting firm
00:04:38.080 that worked on Kristi Noem's two campaigns for government.
00:04:41.480 The objects of this are horrific.
00:04:43.440 Senator John Kennedy ripped it in Senate hearings.
00:04:49.880 It's thievery, is what it is.
00:04:52.020 And we don't need to be building the name ID of Kristi Noem.
00:04:59.680 She stars in all of these commercials.
00:05:02.060 Now, yes, she is smart to say how great the president is,
00:05:05.180 but this plus the ice Barbie routine of her showing off in all these costumes
00:05:11.340 at various emergency sites and arrests, I think, looks really foolish.
00:05:18.580 Yeah.
00:05:19.440 President Trump not remembering.
00:05:21.140 You know President Trump, like I said, I'll reiterate, 40 years.
00:05:23.900 President Trump not remembering something is very rare,
00:05:26.340 and the reason he doesn't remember it is because he didn't approve it.
00:05:28.860 But President Trump is extremely frugal and in the most delightful sense,
00:05:33.340 save in this country every dollar he can possibly save us.
00:05:35.640 Well, John, $300 million in a jet fleet, including the master jet with the master bedroom,
00:05:43.880 so they can join the Mile High Club?
00:05:45.840 Well, you know, Roger, the most troubling, I think, part about this entire thing
00:05:50.480 was I think about $150 million of that contract was flown into a company,
00:05:55.860 the Shell Company, that was just eight days old.
00:05:59.620 Now, you've been listening a long time, Roger.
00:06:01.940 Eight-day-old company getting a $143 million contract.
00:06:05.620 I'd love to go to school where they went to school.
00:06:07.700 It's very similar to that media company that got $220 million the day before,
00:06:11.580 the day after they were incorporated.
00:06:13.220 This is all going to be investigated,
00:06:17.260 and I think all roads lead back to Corey Lewandowski,
00:06:23.000 who's not a political strategist.
00:06:24.380 He's a lout.
00:06:25.160 He's a bully and a lout.
00:06:29.240 And, you know, who knows?
00:06:30.480 They say he's the indestructible cop, which we shall see.
00:06:34.220 But he's got a lot of attorney's fees and investigations coming.
00:06:39.820 Let us turn, if we may, to Steve Bannon.
00:06:42.200 And Steve has had a rough couple of weeks.
00:06:44.820 I mean, Steve Bannon helms the war room at Real America's Voice,
00:06:49.660 holds himself out to be a Trump loyalist, the last Trump loyalist.
00:06:54.160 But then these emails emerge showing him denigrating Trump,
00:06:57.900 calling Trump stupid, seeking to undermine Trump,
00:07:01.600 suggesting Trump should be removed under the 25th Amendment.
00:07:05.040 That's bad enough.
00:07:05.840 But he also very clearly can be seen coaching Epstein on how to make his comeback,
00:07:10.940 how to rehabilitate his public image after being convicted of sex crimes,
00:07:16.480 and being seen with all of these famous pedophiles,
00:07:21.820 Woody Allen, for example.
00:07:23.520 My reading here of the email released by the DOJ is that Jeffrey Epstein personally booked a flight for Steve Bannon
00:07:32.540 to the U.S. Virgin Islands.
00:07:35.060 And from there, the email says that Steve is staying with me.
00:07:38.980 So becoming pretty clear to me that he did indeed visit the island.
00:07:42.880 The most troubling part about it all, Roger, which Steve is not a stupid man,
00:07:47.780 maniacal for sure, evil, that's for sure, but he's not a stupid man.
00:07:52.120 He was out on the forefront of releasing the Epstein documents.
00:07:54.940 You know, he was out there saying we want him released,
00:07:57.040 and I'm not sure quite what he was thinking, knowing how implicated he was.
00:08:02.000 Calling somebody brother, you don't do that lightly to someone that you don't really care for,
00:08:06.880 someone you really love.
00:08:07.920 Well, I mean, let's just be, let's be very clear.
00:08:10.540 Steve Bannon, you have a man who was charged with stealing $15 million from the Build and the Wall Foundation,
00:08:17.360 was pardoned as a federal crime, was re-indicted in New York State under the same crime.
00:08:23.260 His two co-conspirators went to jail for a long time under the federal charges.
00:08:27.160 At the last minute, he pled guilty and he served no jail time, but he's an admitted thief.
00:08:32.980 He also, when his financial patron, Miles Guo, about which much more will be written in the next couple weeks,
00:08:41.340 is convicted of a $1 billion financial fraud, Steve Bannon is an unindicted co-conspirator,
00:08:49.000 but there are no charges against him, which criminal defense lawyers tell me that's usually a sign that someone is cooperating.
00:08:56.360 Yep.
00:08:56.520 In both of those cases.
00:08:59.960 So, this guy is a squirrely character to begin with.
00:09:04.080 I noticed him first visiting Epstein's home in New York.
00:09:08.800 I saw a tiny item on page 6 of the New York Post, and I knew that something was odd.
00:09:15.120 The most outrageous thing I saw, John, is the email in which he says that he, Steve Bannon,
00:09:20.540 is the centerpiece of this movement, not Donald J. Trump.
00:09:25.440 This is a man who rarely bathes, who rarely shaves, who rarely brushes his teeth.
00:09:32.240 I actually spoke to a colleague of his at Goldman Sachs who said even then he had to be told to get a clean suit.
00:09:44.580 It's embarrassing.
00:09:45.440 You know, you mentioned the money.
00:09:46.900 He had to have made a lot of money from Jeffrey F.
00:09:48.940 He had to be doing a job like that.
00:09:50.000 I'd love to know where the money went.
00:09:52.320 I think Steve's big problem, Roger, is, and I think this is what his problem was with you,
00:09:57.100 with why he was so disgusting against you in your cases, is it's a big jealousy issue.
00:10:03.940 He wants to be the alpha in the room all the time when he's truly the beta,
00:10:08.120 surrounded by people like you and President Trump.
00:10:10.680 And I don't think he's ever fathomed or could ever quite get around to the fact, Roger,
00:10:14.760 that he really had no influence on President Trump.
00:10:17.260 President Trump, as President Trump likes to say, fired him like a dog, left him out on the street embarrassed, you know, like a dirty dog.
00:10:26.500 But Steve sees himself as some kind of leader of the worldwide movement for naturalism.
00:10:36.300 He did a superb job on Bolsonaro's re-election.
00:10:38.880 And, you know, he just has a very inflated view of his importance in the greater scheme of things.
00:10:47.340 But, look, I think once there's greater examination of where his funding came from post-White House,
00:10:53.660 it will eliminate him from any position of leadership in the movement.
00:10:57.240 That's coming.
00:10:58.140 And, frankly, he had to pay a huge number of influencers and institutions to kind of spin his narrative.
00:11:06.980 And then more recently, you'll notice those same people have nothing to say about these shocking, shocking revelations.
00:11:14.320 Yeah. Yeah. So, 100 percent.
00:11:17.600 I just don't know, Roger, and I wonder this, how he rebounds from this.
00:11:21.180 I think what has to be done is he has to be shut out from the Trump White House.
00:11:24.940 They have to, for some of not.
00:11:26.220 I think that's largely done.
00:11:28.440 I mean, he was there not that long ago when the president was considering going to war,
00:11:33.220 obviously concerned that Steve would attack him if he made that decision the first time.
00:11:38.140 We wouldn't even call it war.
00:11:39.100 We would launch these limited attacks.
00:11:40.800 You know, I think there's a huge difference in Trump.
00:11:43.360 We talked about this the other day.
00:11:44.760 Trump is using American power in a very limited, focused, lethal way.
00:11:51.160 That's not boots on the ground.
00:11:52.620 That's not mass casualties.
00:11:55.380 That's not multi-billion dollar contracts for Halliburton.
00:11:59.140 This is a very focused use of American power.
00:12:01.940 So, he's not a neocon.
00:12:05.120 You don't have boots on the ground.
00:12:06.580 You don't have the mass casualties.
00:12:07.800 But he also is not afraid to project American power when he has to.
00:12:12.800 When our inherent national interests are challenged, the level of drugs coming into this country from Venezuela and from Honduras had to be dealt with.
00:12:22.520 And it has now been dealt with.
00:12:24.360 And by the way, in the meantime, we got to cut off the oil to the Chinese and the Cubans.
00:12:28.240 How'd that work out?
00:12:29.300 That's a masterstroke.
00:12:30.340 Yeah, Cuba is – and you've heard President Trump over the last few days say Cuba is going to be the next one to fall.
00:12:36.720 Lindsey Graham is very excited about it.
00:12:38.180 Just going back to Iran and the boots on the ground thing, you know, you're getting a lot of pushback from people.
00:12:42.840 It's mainly on Twitter.
00:12:43.860 I don't think this is reality.
00:12:45.080 I think this is some sort of cult that they're trying to form inside the MAGA coalition to try to split it.
00:12:49.840 And I think it's a completely fraudulent one that they're trying to make.
00:12:55.440 But you look at what he's done here in Iran.
00:12:57.580 It's no boots on the ground operation.
00:12:59.440 He did what he had to do.
00:13:00.920 And it is no new war.
00:13:02.320 This is a war, Roger, that started in 1979 with Iran.
00:13:06.700 And President Trump now, many years later, is going to be the one to finish the job off once and for all.
00:13:11.980 The most hysterical part about it all and the hypocrisy of it all is we saw over the course of the last six months the No Kings rallies from these Marxist Democrats on the streets protesting.
00:13:22.780 But now they're out there protesting, Roger, asking why we killed a dictator and why we killed a king.
00:13:29.000 And the whole thing of it is just so ass backwards.
00:13:33.620 And you see these polls now coming out, fake polls, President Trump down, down, down.
00:13:38.360 They're talking now about gas prices, Roger.
00:13:40.700 They're talking now, and Tuck Schumer yesterday, the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, the Strategic Reserve.
00:13:48.020 What he's not talking about is when President Trump left office, it had about 640 million barrels of oil.
00:13:54.400 When President Trump came back into office, it had about 395 million barrels of oil in it because Joe Biden drained the thing dry.
00:14:02.380 And what people don't realize is the thing is there for catastrophe situations.
00:14:06.580 So hurricanes, when, you know, gas prices are going through the roof and people are gouging and they can't get their supply, they released a little bit about it.
00:14:13.860 And it's got about 120 to 150 days reserve for the American people.
00:14:18.300 But Joe Biden drained this thing just for the hell of it to try to pull his poll numbers up.
00:14:22.400 And you heard nothing about it.
00:14:24.540 On inauguration day in 2021, Roger, the average gas price was $2.30 or so.
00:14:30.240 At the peak of Biden's presidency, it was about five bucks.
00:14:34.360 And when he left his last day in office, it was back down to $3.
00:14:37.980 And it was because he drained our Strategic Result Reserve and nobody said a damn thing about it, including Chuck Schumer.
00:14:44.260 All right. We'll be right back with John Fawcett of the American podcast.
00:14:48.460 Don't go away.
00:14:54.960 And we're back with my colleague, John Fawcett.
00:14:58.840 John is the host of the American podcast and a longtime associate of the great Lou Dobbs.
00:15:06.580 And I've spoken a conservative in his own right.
00:15:09.800 John, what did you make of the epic upset defeat of Dane Crenshaw in Texas?
00:15:18.360 So this is, I think, something we spoke about the other day on my show, Roger, is the fact of the MAGA coalition and the fact that it's not dead and it's not dying.
00:15:28.140 Dane Crenshaw has been a thorn in the side of MAGA, America first, and anything good for this country, for that matter,
00:15:34.460 with the exception of him lining his all pockets with his very favorable and very questionable stock trades.
00:15:40.280 The American voter and more importantly, Roger, the MAGA voter have their eyes open.
00:15:45.280 And I listened to your saying before, Steve Tope, a resounding victory for him with the MAGA coalition telling Dan Crenshaw to go kick rocks and head off into retirement because they're not going to stand for this.
00:15:57.280 They're not going to stand for the rhino ways anymore.
00:16:00.320 Warren, you look at what President Trump has done to Congress, he's cleared that place out for the most part with the rhinos.
00:16:06.160 Crenshaw being one of the last few left, there's about two or three that need to go.
00:16:10.340 But President Trump in the last 10 years, resoundingly clearing house of the rhinos.
00:16:16.100 Yeah, very, very interesting to see.
00:16:19.140 I saw last week the Pechanga Indian tribe of California honoring Nancy Pelosi.
00:16:25.240 I'm still trying to figure out how on a salary when she started as a speaker, 125 a year today, 175.
00:16:32.580 How did she amass a fortune of $168 million?
00:16:35.860 How is that possible?
00:16:37.500 Well, when you have a husband at home, Roger, who gets very favorable insights into what's going on and all the things that are going on behind the scenes,
00:16:46.340 whether it be the military industrial complex or anything inside of Washington, D.C.,
00:16:51.020 I think it gives you a very favorable view on where to place your stock picks.
00:16:55.600 Make no mistake, at the age that Nancy Pelosi is at, Roger, traveling six hours each way, five, six hours each way from California to D.C.
00:17:03.800 each and every week, so 12 hours, 13 hours, 14 hours, maybe a week,
00:17:07.800 for a measly $174,000 when her husband's got tens of millions, if not hundreds of millions of dollars.
00:17:15.900 It should be a real eye over to the American people.
00:17:18.240 But she's grandfathered in, Roger, into this group of people, this tribe of people, no fun intended, where they have absolute immunity.
00:17:26.800 It's interesting.
00:17:28.900 Then you look at Mitch McConnell, who starts out as a dirt poor country judge.
00:17:33.520 Mitch is now worth, I think I got this right, the figure, public figures are a little behind where they should be,
00:17:40.560 but I think he is worth something like $164 million.
00:17:47.100 Much of this, however, comes from his wife, Lorraine Chow,
00:17:49.860 who has used her family's relationships in communist China to get some very unique business deals not available to any other American company.
00:17:58.640 Now, I can't say those deals are illegal, but I do think they're highly questionable.
00:18:04.140 How do you amass that kind of fortune?
00:18:07.080 By the way, she was the longest-serving member of the Trump cabinet,
00:18:12.720 despite these long-term relationships to her family, to communist China.
00:18:18.540 This whole issue, which Tim Burchard and Anna Paulina Luna are champion,
00:18:24.020 of stopping members of Congress from using inside information to trade stocks and bonds,
00:18:30.300 and they should also end the revolving door.
00:18:32.900 So if you leave Congress, you shouldn't be able to come back and lobby Congress five minutes later.
00:18:38.180 There should be a waiting period.
00:18:40.460 It's time to go.
00:18:41.660 It brings you to the question, Roger.
00:18:43.860 We've been witnessing this now, but it's really intensified over the last few years
00:18:47.540 because I think of great groups on Twitter.
00:18:50.100 There's like Pelosi Tracker and all these different groups on Twitter
00:18:52.880 that track the trades of these people, Mitch McConnell and the rest of them,
00:18:56.320 and you can follow all of them and you can make the money with them.
00:18:58.480 The problem is, is their disclosures are for 30 days after.
00:19:01.300 So they can do 100,000, 10,000 trades, and you don't get to see them in real time.
00:19:05.740 You see them 30 days after the fact, so you can't join in on the funds to make the money.
00:19:09.440 It raises the million-dollar question, Roger.
00:19:12.200 Why has it taken so long, and why has it not been done yet for these people,
00:19:17.060 once and for all, to just ban all trading?
00:19:20.280 Crypto, stock, everything's got to go.
00:19:22.880 I could not agree more.
00:19:24.520 All right, John Fawcett, The American Podcast.
00:19:27.020 You can find him on X as well as every place great podcasts are seen.
00:19:30.780 Thanks for joining us.
00:19:31.780 Until next time, God bless you and Godspeed.
