00:00:00.000 hello everybody and welcome to the great america show it's great to have you with us on this fine
00:00:06.520 fine day in america the government shutdown is officially underway and it's the schumer shutdown
00:00:11.660 make no mistake about it this is what we voted for folks we voted for truth justice in the american
00:00:17.880 way we voted for accountability and that's exactly what donald trump and mike johnson and john thune
00:00:23.120 are doing right now it's accountability at the forefront the democrats refusing to cave
00:00:28.340 on their demand for health care for illegals for any sort of subsidies for illegals for subsidies
00:00:34.540 for transgender surgeries for minors you i don't have to rehash what the democrats want you folks
00:00:40.120 all out there know what they want it's the same thing they've wanted for the last 10 years
00:00:43.580 they want to fundamentally change america and for the first time in my lifetime i am watching a united
00:00:51.600 republican party stand strong against chuck schumer and hakeem jeffries stand strong against their
00:00:57.340 tyranny their tyranny and what they've done to this country and the destruction and and the course
00:01:03.720 that they've tried to put this country on for the first time we're seeing it we're watching a speaker
00:01:09.360 with some sort of intestinal fortitude to tell hakeem jeffries to go to hell for president trump to tell
00:01:16.600 them to go to hell americans overwhelmingly voted for this on november 5th the democrats still just can't
00:01:24.380 seem to get it through their head jd vance was at the podium today and he had a few words to say
00:01:30.180 for chuck schumer who is being make no mistake about it guided by alexandria ocasio-cortez and the
00:01:39.320 marxist wing of the party take a listen i think a lot of americans are asking themselves why did this
00:01:44.140 happen why did the democrats shut down the government despite as caroline said voting on the exact same
00:01:49.320 piece of legislation six months ago and there are a lot of different spins that we can put on it a lot
00:01:53.960 of different answers that we could give all of them true one answer i already gave is that they
00:01:57.880 want to give health care benefits to illegal aliens that is true they gave us legislative text that would
00:02:03.720 have undone us cutting off health care benefits for illegal aliens that's one of the things that they
00:02:09.260 asked for but the reality here and let's be honest about the politics is that chuck schumer is terrified
00:02:14.580 she's going to get a primary challenge from alexandria ocasio-cortez the reason why the
00:02:20.580 american people's government is shut down is because chuck schumer is listening to the far left radicals
00:02:26.220 in his own party because he's terrified of a primary challenge so i'd invite chuck schumer to join the
00:02:31.320 moderate democrats and 52 senate republicans do the right thing open up the people's government and
00:02:37.300 then let's fix health care policy for the american by moderate democrats shady vance is talking merely
00:02:43.040 about john fetterman never did we think when fetterman beat dr oz in pennsylvania that this man
00:02:48.720 would be a voice of reason for the democratic party but this is a man who's spoken with some sort
00:02:54.980 of common sense much unlike what you're hearing from aoc and chuck schumer and the rest of the democrats
00:03:01.880 truly remarkable now chuck schumer was on this morning with cnn and he was asked about owning the
00:03:08.760 shutdown wait till you hear his response or lack thereof every republican who's gone on tv the last
00:03:15.300 12 hours or so has called this the schumer shutdown what do you say about that name
00:03:20.920 senator schumer can you hear me i can't hear senator schumer can you hear me i don't think senator
00:03:35.280 schumer can hear me right now maybe the government shutdown included audio on capitol hill
00:03:39.360 i think senator schumer chose not to hear you mr cnn because he knows it's a shutdown he knows that he
00:03:49.660 and jeffries two professional politicians are backed into a corner right now because they cannot simply do
00:03:56.640 the right thing now donald trump is going to win this fight the republicans are going to win this fight
00:04:02.580 it's just a matter of time and a matter of how long the democrats want to hold out every day that
00:04:08.440 goes by they hurt themselves take a listen to mike johnson on it last night three democrats two
00:04:14.180 democrats and an independent flipped and came along with the republicans but it looks like and what we
00:04:18.440 expect is that most of the democrats in the senate again will reject the clean cr that we sent over
00:04:24.400 it's clean what that means is it's non-partisan we didn't add any uh republican priorities or poison
00:04:30.740 pills or gimmicks or tricks into that at all it's 24 pages i mean everybody can read it for themselves
00:04:35.800 it simply continues the biden era spending levels that chuck schumer and the democrats have already
00:04:41.460 supported in the past they just did it most recently in march and he gave long speeches about how it was
00:04:46.040 so critically important that we not shut the government down so there's nothing for me to give
00:04:50.380 there's nothing to negotiate i don't have any republican priorities to put on the table because we sent over
00:04:54.900 a clean cr and that's why none of this makes sense okay so mike johnson that's his uh clear and concise
00:05:01.160 as i've heard him speak perhaps since taking over a speaker very very simple now donald trump trying to
00:05:08.720 make light of this entire thing um having a little jab at chuck schumer and hakeem jeffries and he posted
00:05:16.480 this meme the other day and i i think it's absolutely hysterically brilliant let's watch
00:05:22.380 there's no way to sugarcoat it nobody likes democrats anymore we have no voters left because
00:05:28.800 of all of our woke trans bullshit not even black people want to vote for us anymore even latinos hate
00:05:34.480 us so we need new voters and if we give all these illegal aliens free health care we might be able to
00:05:42.340 get them on our side so they can vote for us they can't even speak english so they won't realize we're
00:05:48.420 just a bunch of woke pieces of shit you know at least for a while until they they learn english and
00:05:54.100 they realize they hate us too as president trump doing a little trolling now schumer and jeffries
00:06:02.680 absolutely melting down about it jd vance was asked about it today and he made a promise to schumer and
00:06:08.740 jeffries if they just open up the government again here's what his promise was so the president's been
00:06:13.740 posting some images of leader jeffries and uh senator schumer i saw recently um you've said
00:06:19.220 that you're interested in good faith negotiations with these leaders but you know what message does
00:06:23.660 that send is it helpful just post pictures of leader jeffries and the sombrero if you're trying
00:06:28.020 to have good faith talks with him oh i think it's funny the president's joking and we're having a good
00:06:33.360 time you can negotiate in good faith while also poking a little bit of fun at some of the absurdities
00:06:38.000 of the democrats positions and even you know poking some some fun at the absurdity of the democrats
00:06:42.620 themselves i mean i'll tell hakeem jeffries right now i make this solemn promise to you that if you
00:06:47.600 help us reopen the government the sombrero memes will stop and i've talked to the president of the
00:06:52.380 united states about that now making light into the situation the democrats have got us in there you go
00:06:58.560 hakeem the ball is in your court folks i want to bring in our guest today at least one of our guests
00:07:02.820 we got a surprise guest joining us uh after the commercial break but i want to bring in our favorite
00:07:07.980 guest the great mark mitchell mark what says you what's going on in the federal government
00:07:13.920 uh well i'm celebrating today i uh stayed up late 1 a.m uh we popped a cork at midnight when we watched
00:07:21.600 the uh it was like new year's eve it was a celebration on my stream we had a really great time this is what
00:07:27.320 americans have been craving they don't like the direction of the country they think that we're being
00:07:31.780 spent into oblivion they think the future of today's children has been stolen from them and they want to
00:07:37.360 see the government shut down to achieve cuts so congratulations republicans you know trump came
00:07:42.440 out there and led from the front he was he very clearly stepped away from the negotiation table
00:07:48.080 but you know the way i see mike johnson's doing a really good job and man the stuff out of jd vance
00:07:52.660 bravo incredible yeah you're you're you're selling me on uh on jd a little bit mark you know i've
00:07:59.000 i've been optimistic about him and uh he's he's only doing a great job but you know as i say there's so
00:08:04.080 many people in this trump administration right now who are doing a terrific job uh getting the message
00:08:08.000 through and getting you know everything squared away mike johnson he's managed to surprise me
00:08:13.200 uh time and time again uh the fact that he's united and he's got his caucus united uh behind
00:08:19.040 standing up to the marxist democrats uh it makes me extremely proud that these people may finally
00:08:25.160 have their act together mark yeah yeah now i you know we'll find out there's some people i would
00:08:31.380 like to talk to to to understand a little bit better what's going on in the halls of capitol hill
00:08:36.520 because my feeling is that the establishment is very big rich and powerful and the establishment wants
00:08:42.380 to maintain its course and so we have not had very long shutdowns the longest was 35 days
00:08:48.800 and before that i think it was only 16 days uh i would love to see three years because americans
00:08:54.560 are going to love when donald trump finally takes the doge chainsaw to the government that i think
00:09:01.380 would shoot his numbers up to like 60 percent approval rating but uh i think that those people
00:09:06.860 are probably getting calls around the clock off the hook from k street that's worried that they're
00:09:10.980 going to get some contracts cut or they're not you know i think there's probably some serious damage
00:09:16.700 that this can do to the establishment they're not happy right now no they're not and i have to
00:09:21.560 imagine john thune is uh is probably withering away over on the senate side uh trying to figure out
00:09:27.920 how he's going to get himself out of this mess i don't know how long it goes on you'd said you have
00:09:32.420 some questions so i guess we'll break the news we got congressman tim birchard he's going to be
00:09:36.520 joining us in just a few moments on the other side of our show break so uh we'll try to make sense of
00:09:41.780 what's going on with him we're going to keep mark with us through the break uh to try to get some
00:09:45.520 sense on what he's going on he's one of the straightest speakers one of the straightest
00:09:48.820 shooters in congress uh doesn't sugarcoat anything tells you how it is if it's bad for the republicans
00:09:54.580 or bad for the democrats so we'll get his take in just a few moments um so where do we go from here
00:10:00.980 mark i mean how long does this thing last in your opinion uh you know i don't know i would say the
00:10:09.620 calculus on this one is different and first off the country is thinking about this shutdown
00:10:15.120 kind of differently uh we did a really long video about the polling and usually the only poll you hear
00:10:20.640 about is the blame game well here's the thing a lot of trump voters are blaming trump and republicans
00:10:25.800 for the shutdown which is because three quarters of them won it so there is that but the one that got
00:10:31.540 me is like we we asked how likely is a shutdown and usually uh ahead of these these shutdowns it's
00:10:39.080 like 50 couple percent then the last time in the in the spring it was like 60 couple this one was 70
00:10:44.480 so on both sides of the aisle americans were like yeah we're gonna it's probably gonna shut down
00:10:50.620 congress can't work through their issues and so to me that like is escalating uh political hostility
00:10:57.180 oh and then we find out oh it looks like george soros's organizations are donating to far left
00:11:02.780 groups to call the congressman and tell the democrats to keep it shut down you go on reddit
00:11:08.760 they want the government shut down too they're gonna scream for schumer to resign if if he caves in
00:11:14.840 and so on both sides of the aisle the republicans aren't going to budge and the democrats don't seem to
00:11:19.660 be allowed to but who does this hurt more in my opinion i don't see how the republicans get hurt
00:11:25.000 donald trump is doing exactly what he said he was going to do holding strong on fundamental things
00:11:31.040 keeping men out of the sports uh uh getting rid of these transgender government funded surgeries
00:11:36.560 uh getting illegals off of every single government subsidy when you have americans who can't afford
00:11:42.280 health care and americans living on the street i mean you go down the list of things that donald trump
00:11:46.740 promised and everything and almost every reason that this government is shut down right now is because
00:11:51.880 of one of those things so i'm not sure what the democrats thought they were getting themselves into
00:11:56.800 but this is in my opinion i've been in this game for i mean over 10 years mark it's not a winning
00:12:03.020 argument for the democrats no matter what way you look at it well also they they i think they just lost
00:12:08.960 like a hundred thousand more federal workers last night tendered their resignation that's what i heard
00:12:13.960 on unsourced but uh you know i know i know there was a big number being floated around
00:12:19.820 that almost doubles the doge cuts so that's real that's a big thing and then also we're going to
00:12:24.700 see this actually majorly affect our deficit if it stays shut down for a while but i really wonder
00:12:30.420 what the calculus is it might be something that we're not considering like for instance maybe the
00:12:35.420 democrats choice is well if we come back to the table and negotiate sign a clean cr we go back to well
00:12:42.100 we're talking about a rescission bill and i think they might be really really really really really
00:12:47.140 afraid of what gets into a rescission bill this time and so maybe a government shutdown is palatable
00:12:51.700 for them let's find out we're going to take a quick break here on the other side we're going to ask mark
00:12:55.340 to hang with us we're going to be joined by a friend of mine one of the greatest members to walk the
00:12:59.480 halls of congress uh one of the greatest gentlemen in that building that swamp i should say uh the great
00:13:07.380 tim birchett he joins us on the other side of this quick break folks please stay with us we're coming
00:13:10.580 right back on the great america show thanks everybody for staying with us here on the great
00:13:19.860 america show now as promised we've got uh mark mitchell stay with us through our commercial break
00:13:23.480 and the great congressman tim birchett congressman uh how goes it what's happening in dc these days
00:13:29.620 well i'm not in dc obviously i'm in god's country and in east tennessee but and because the house did
00:13:36.500 their business you know we passed the bill to keep the government open the we had one democrat
00:13:41.120 defector i guess that voted with us i guess you could say it's bipartisan and on nancy pelosi if
00:13:46.160 the shoe was on the other foot she talked about this incredible bipartisan support they have for the
00:13:51.160 bill and uh and but the reality is it's in the senate and schumer has it and i can i give you my
00:13:58.100 theory on this and i've actually please rudy giuliani of new york even said he believes it so
00:14:04.740 um i was um thinking about this and why is schumer out there on this limb you know you look at some
00:14:11.700 videos of him just i don't know 10 20 years ago when he wasn't flipping raw hamburgers with cheese on
00:14:17.160 them in a fabricated photo or waving his hands around like he's in one of my good conservative
00:14:25.560 churches here in east tennessee he was um he talked about conservative things semi well we would say
00:14:31.720 semi-moderate things not giving illegals health care things like that and taking away from hard
00:14:38.060 working americans but and why is he doing this why is he going to die on the beach of transgender
00:14:42.820 surgery health care um wild environmental programs overseas promoting or propping up npr and public
00:14:51.780 television with yours and my money when when private and when when other publicly owned television
00:14:58.880 media outlets are not giving a dime well because he's looking in his rearview mirror he sees what's
00:15:05.320 happening in new york city right now they're getting ready to elect a communist mayor that's not really
00:15:11.080 his base as much as we'd like to say it's more aoc's base and that's what he sees in his rearview mirror
00:15:16.780 is my buddy alexandria ocasio-cortez and she'll bring all that money marxist money out of hollywood
00:15:22.980 but all over the country overnight multi-million dollars in fundraising when she announces she's
00:15:29.860 running for the senate and she will be a force to be reckoned with and so schumer knows that and he
00:15:37.100 that's why he's trying he will wreck the country wreck the country to stay in power and that's exactly
00:15:44.800 what he's trying to do and stay in power i mean these guys they all stay past their prime you know
00:15:51.060 i hope when i get to that age i hope they say man you need to go home play on the play with the
00:15:55.360 grandkids or something you know play on the farm that's right and work on them on motorcycles you
00:16:00.480 got in the barn do something but this guy look that's the only and hakeem jeffries hakeem's out
00:16:06.540 there talking about we're willing to work well no they weren't they wouldn't even negotiate with us
00:16:11.080 before and frankly we didn't need them we didn't need them i'm glad we didn't compromise we didn't
00:16:16.800 bend the knee because when we got over the senate it'd be worse and now you've got three democrat
00:16:21.000 defectors so far in um in the senate and you'll probably see more these polling numbers are going
00:16:27.020 to start dropping the one thing the democrat party really has going for them though is the
00:16:32.820 republican party our messaging stinks we're the worst you know i put a video out about uh in it
00:16:40.680 two days it got 1.5 million views wow 1.5 million views that's incredible i'm the 435th most powerful
00:16:50.500 member of congress that government and they're and they're and i'm putting that thing out and people
00:16:55.160 are just going crazy over it and it's because i said the truth i just said look they're going to
00:17:00.020 defund the government to pay for illegal health care and and um in transgender surgery and yeah and
00:17:06.200 they're going to buy and they're going to take 50 billion dollars from rural health care
00:17:09.340 some little god-fearing woman out there is pregnant getting ready to have a baby and and the democrats
00:17:14.680 are cutting her health care to give to illegals are you kidding me but that's exactly what they're
00:17:19.800 doing and don't let them lie to you and tell you otherwise because they just want to restore
00:17:24.100 everything back under the prior deal under biden and they'll say oh but it's illegal for illegals to
00:17:31.960 get health care and why did 8.4 billion dollars in health care in california go to illegals ask them
00:17:40.520 that it's a documented fact yeah let let me ask you a question uh representative the that makes sense
00:17:49.000 to me it's like okay chuck schumer would like to burn it all down to rule over the ashes but why does
00:17:55.360 the core in my opinion it seems like george soros is putting money behind this effort to keep the
00:18:00.900 government shut down you go to places like reddit all of the insane lefties are just they want it
00:18:06.200 shut down they're going to lose in the court of public opinion on this because the media has shifted
00:18:10.960 drastically since the last shutdown and i think trump is going to cut a lot of things so they're
00:18:16.640 putting themselves in a really tough position and the only reason i could maybe come up with is like
00:18:21.520 they're afraid of what might go into a rescission bill and this is more palatable but if there's another
00:18:26.140 reason love to hear well it's the only reason they're doing is because in the past they're just
00:18:32.180 fed their talking points from their leadership and they're just like a bunch of lemmings out there they
00:18:37.620 just pop up out of the hole and take it and um and they're used to the abc nbc cbs cnn msnbc the view
00:18:45.360 you know mimicking and following and and making everything they say just seems so realistic and
00:18:51.360 oh man yeah you'd be an idiot not to believe that american public is not an idiot they have turned
00:18:56.900 on those folks they are sick of this stuff the inner cities are not getting better until trump
00:19:02.200 brings in the national guard um drug situation is you know we we've had to we've shut the border down
00:19:10.640 and people know it these illegals are being deported and they know it and they're they're sick of seeing
00:19:16.600 what they were told didn't exist and now they're seeing it and they know it exists and frankly the
00:19:23.240 people in these inner cities are run over by this crime i can't stand to see another mama get on there
00:19:28.700 and talk about losing her poor little baby because that just to me is heartbreaking and that can all
00:19:33.600 be avoided yeah you mentioned the cities and i i covered this today a part of the show is your
00:19:39.300 governor is a republican governor now he's hamstrung by a marxist democrat mayor running memphis that's
00:19:44.360 crime ridden yet your governor has acknowledged that there's crime in the city come on in federal
00:19:49.620 government and clean this place up it's one thing that the democrats just can't seem to get through
00:19:54.580 their thick skulls crime is not a right or left issue it's an american issue and if there's crime
00:20:00.820 send in whoever you've got to send in to get these people out of there why is that so hard for them to
00:20:05.900 understand it's the schumer effect our minorities and our inner cities are overrun with grifters the
00:20:13.140 people that come in there and you know these preachers and say oh they're out to get you they
00:20:16.880 play the race card and every and it's worked forever but it's not working anymore because again
00:20:22.920 their kids are being left behind you're seeing some of these you know these colleges and institutions
00:20:29.220 that are run by some of these people getting 20 22 graduation rate or something you know it's just
00:20:35.080 not it's not happening and um and they're sick of it they're sick of the al sharpton types
00:20:40.360 and and i'm glad to see you're seeing record numbers of minorities i had lunch the other day
00:20:45.280 with a guy who bought at an auction having lunch with me which is crazy because he could just
00:20:50.320 find out one of my hunts and wait for me there every other day just about
00:20:54.340 and order ahead of me because they already know what i'm ordering and um and i said dude why you know
00:21:00.000 you're hispanic i tell me why you like donald trump he said i like donald trump because he's successful
00:21:04.820 and he backs it up and this guy was successful and he backed it up and uh you know he came here
00:21:11.160 with nothing became an american citizen him and his beautiful bride they started a family they got
00:21:16.120 businesses and they are just busting it and um living the american dream and then you see some clown show
00:21:23.600 like joy reed was on the news the other night talking about how um or on some interview and i don't
00:21:29.240 know why she's even how she's paid a lot it was a talking head i don't know what her quality or what
00:21:34.400 her qualifications were but she was talking about they want to return us to the days where people
00:21:39.420 made a lot of money and they got to keep it all and they didn't pay taxes and i'm like so that's
00:21:45.080 exactly what i voted for that's why i voted for donald j trump brother mark a hundred percent i mean
00:21:52.540 i think this election was about two things it was about a lack of trust in the government
00:21:57.480 and also a return to a focus on economic populism because what you talk about republican messaging
00:22:04.880 and they don't really seem to focus on this not all of them ubiquitously and uh america's hurting
00:22:10.500 like all of the numbers like only 22 percent of people think today's children will be better off
00:22:15.460 than their parents a lot of the 18 to 39 year olds aren't even like capitalist anymore because they
00:22:20.380 think the system failed them and all i hear is people patting themselves on the back about how gen z
00:22:24.820 is the most conservative they're not they're the most pro trump but the republican party is not
00:22:29.520 winning these people and i don't know how to fix that yeah well i think we better start listening
00:22:34.940 to folks and quit telling them and uh this charlie kirk effect on these campuses these kids are just
00:22:42.680 pushed down so much by these college professors and that's another problem we got everybody's all
00:22:47.520 puffed up on the right hand and right wingers and conservatives oh look what we're doing we're
00:22:52.200 kicking all these college professors off well i don't know y'all know what kudzu is
00:22:56.700 kudzu the plant well it's a plant that grows you can google it and it's um it was brought here during
00:23:03.360 the depression it was supposed to um as from the orient and it's um it's a vine that grows
00:23:08.980 and literally you close your doors at windows at night because it will grow in and snatch your kids
00:23:14.600 almost i mean this stuff grows it's unbelievable they suddenly pour oil across the street so it
00:23:19.400 doesn't bruise itself when it grows across i mean it covers telephone google it kudzu so i get these
00:23:25.900 professors all the time and they're gonna i mean all these scientists say oh we got the cure for it
00:23:30.800 and they'll bring in napalm i don't know they nuke it they bring in goats and guess what
00:23:35.340 next year it comes back in five different places and that's exactly what's happening on
00:23:40.480 these college campuses we clip it off we got to get to the people that are doing the hiring and firing
00:23:45.080 we got to start paying attention these state legislators need to say y'all are cut off
00:23:49.120 you're just cut off you got a lesbian studies class what the heck what are they certified what are they
00:23:55.080 going to be doing we need to get back to educating people to to have a profession if you're going to
00:24:00.160 teach them how to be a librarian teach them how to be a librarian if you guys do how to teach be a
00:24:04.260 teacher i have a degree in education from ut and i was complaining to them this i'm 61 it's changed a
00:24:11.280 lot of you know i've done a lot of these philosophy of education classes i was a technological and adult
00:24:17.600 education major i was a shop major you know i i need to be in the inner city of all things i need
00:24:23.920 to be protect myself make sure i didn't get knifed one day you know i mean literally i had a kid pull
00:24:28.760 a knife on me and put it across my adam's apple in my um um in my student teaching and i remembered
00:24:35.620 him saying you see how it needs to be for me to kill you and i said you better do it on the first one
00:24:39.220 this is a family show i won't tell you what all i told him he put the knife down and said all right
00:24:43.540 i'm ready to go i said where are you going he said i'm going to the office i said you're not going to
00:24:47.100 the office get back to work he became one of my best students you know but that's not that that's
00:24:53.040 every day in the inner city and and and our education is just missing missing the point and
00:24:58.480 we're trying to do social engineering and we need to get back to teaching we need to get back to teaching
00:25:03.640 kids how to get a career if you're going to the gym how to be a banker be a banker going to be a
00:25:09.880 you know going to be a doctor get them to med school don't let them waste their time with a
00:25:15.000 bunch of garbage all that is is a tax revenue source and then we bring in the foreigners we bring in the
00:25:20.680 chinese because the liberals think that this is this is the way we're gonna you know we're gonna
00:25:26.020 change the world they're gonna go home and and spread democracy no they're not and most of those
00:25:30.960 teachers professors are not pro-democracy anyway they're going to infect us is what they're going
00:25:37.300 to do with communism yeah there's a lot of great ones a lot of great ones but you get a few bad ones
00:25:41.720 and education just turned into a big money machine and it needs to turn back into education
00:25:47.180 it was in 1976 when jimmy carter made it a cabinet level position we were number one in the world
00:25:54.600 trillions of dollars later we're 23rd or 24th in the world it's wrong we got to fix this thing
00:26:00.820 and we got the opportunity this shutdown is going to allow us the opportunity to clean some plows
00:26:06.400 yeah i think you're absolutely right uh before we let you go what's the what's the timeline what do
00:26:12.420 you think how long does it last um how do we get ourselves out of this it's all opinion polls it's
00:26:18.560 whoever's got schumer's ear and says we're going to do this and also you're going to see more democrats
00:26:22.980 peel off when he realizes he's going to lose he's going to try to cut some ridiculous deal
00:26:27.880 and he ain't going to get it he needs to cut shut like i said he needs to fold up go back home and
00:26:33.640 flip raw hamburgers with cheese on it mark's the bolster mark yeah i'm sorry give me something to
00:26:39.180 work with guys when's it going to turn on him well everybody talks about the blame game and here's
00:26:45.760 the problem is yeah trump plus the republicans is blamed more than democrats but it's by a bunch of
00:26:52.020 trump voters too that want the government shut down i've been saying this for years if voters are given
00:26:57.680 spending freezes or cuts 56 of them support a shutdown so like it's in the 30s that don't
00:27:03.780 nobody really wants spending increases not even democrats and so they want some drastic action
00:27:10.480 and when opinion polls were highest for trump it was when we were shuttering usa id and firing
00:27:16.620 hundreds of thousands of people so if we get uh if we get a couple of weeks of those optics the
00:27:21.640 democrats are going to have to fold and his approval rating i think is going to shoot up
00:27:25.860 i agree i agree we're going to take some hits i mean there's going to be some honestly some good
00:27:31.140 people are caught in the crosshairs that are just in fluctuations of the economy or things that are
00:27:37.060 out of their control but that's where good communities should should suck it up and take
00:27:41.400 care of them there's so many churches in our country that should be looking out for folks instead
00:27:45.460 of worrying about their um their pastors country club membership yeah you're absolutely right congressman
00:27:53.760 tim birchett the greatest uh dressed member of congress i have to add that to your list uh great
00:27:59.400 american and the greatest uh dress follow him on instagram and follow him on twitter if you want
00:28:04.520 to see his outfits he's out at like a county fair every weekend or he's out supporting the vols go vols
00:28:09.780 uh and um he's uh he's a great american congressman you get the last word here thank you pray for our
00:28:16.660 country brother and i appreciate the great work y'all are doing the conservative cause we've got to pull our
00:28:21.940 party back conservative and we've got to cut the spending that's we're going to lose our country
00:28:27.180 no shape form or fashion you're absolutely right folks please stay with us we're coming right back
00:28:32.160 with the great america show thanks folks for staying with us here on the great america show let's get
00:28:41.900 back to it with the great mark mitchell of rasmussen reports mark uh the the cuts are already starting
00:28:47.620 just moments ago russ vote the director of omb has stripped eight billion dollars in funding
00:28:52.980 from the green new scam projects and numerous marxist run states california colorado connecticut
00:28:59.040 delaware um hawaii massachusetts forget new jersey new hampshire i'm getting there new jersey new mexico
00:29:06.040 new york oregon vermont and washington uh this is exactly what you tell me the people want
00:29:12.960 yeah cut it why are we you know they can't put food on their table now unfortunately this is going
00:29:19.320 to be a problem for mikey cheryl because i watched a little bit of her in the chitarelli debate and
00:29:23.360 they were asked because there's taxes are a really big problem in new jersey they were asked are you
00:29:27.900 going to lower taxes and chitarelli is like yes people are hurting our property taxes are so high we
00:29:33.800 got a high sales tax and he committed to lowering them and then mikey cheryl tap danced around it and said
00:29:39.740 well no you know i will spend fiscally responsibly responsibly but we'll lower our costs by lowering
00:29:46.580 energy prices by building windmills well i bet you those windmills are going to get a different uh
00:29:52.380 a second look now that they're not going to get whatever government free green energy kickback garbage
00:29:59.420 yeah i don't know who falls for this shit mark i'm sorry i didn't mean to use profanity but
00:30:03.660 who falls for this i mean who honestly thinks like what person with the triple digit iq
00:30:09.740 wakes up and says yeah you know what uh putting up a freaking a windmill uh is going to change the
00:30:16.100 world or putting up solar panels to get off of coal energy is going to change the world oh let's not
00:30:21.860 look at texas what happened when it dropped to like i don't know like 30 degrees or 40 degrees something
00:30:26.660 we're used to like every day here on the northeast and they completely shut down their power grid like
00:30:31.420 who thinks it's a good idea yeah i don't think most of them that's the problem is that most voters are
00:30:39.600 low information they're getting their news from places that are psychologically manipulating them
00:30:45.020 and you know i think a lot of it's kind of this like yankees versus mets mentality where it's like
00:30:51.140 you could objectively think about why your team sucks but it's uncomfortable and so it's so much easier
00:30:56.520 to try to find all the ways that the other team sucks and if your team gives you any reason at all
00:31:01.820 any predicate to remain loyal then you'll do it i think and i think that's one of the main problems
00:31:07.220 and we'd still be stuck there because the democrats are cooler we would still be stuck there if they
00:31:13.240 hadn't had joe biden screw everything up yeah i think you're actually right that's a great analogy
00:31:18.900 between the yankees of the mets yankees or disappointment i have to get that in there um
00:31:23.880 but it's yeah it's truly remarkable that nobody on the right is smart enough i mean they come out
00:31:30.500 they put out these stupid talking points videos and this and that and on twitter and nobody watches
00:31:35.180 them i mean you know there's the the majority of people aren't on twitter in the first place right
00:31:39.680 so how do you get the word out uh the majority of you know boomer voters and um yeah when not past
00:31:45.180 millennials i guess i don't even know what the categorization is after millennials but
00:31:48.560 going to the elder age um but you know they think they might putting out these messages and
00:31:55.400 getting a lot of followers on twitter is going to it doesn't it really it really doesn't so i feel
00:32:00.140 like the message is not getting pushed forward to the american people that this whole thing is a scam
00:32:05.180 yes you can go out there and say the green new deal is a scam yes we know that but how are you going
00:32:09.720 to relay to the american people and exactly what you said the average voter is not informed it's not a
00:32:14.740 slight it's not a shot me taking at the voters i'm a voter myself the average voter is not informed
00:32:19.600 you see what you see on a tv commercial for 30 seconds and this is the average now the people
00:32:23.420 who are tuning in the show they're probably outside of this realm because they're probably very
00:32:27.420 politically involved if they're if they're tuned into the great america show but the average person
00:32:32.000 outside of it you know your your wife or my sister or whatever you know it may be who who live a
00:32:37.380 normal life who don't have the stress of politics every single day they don't know what the hell is
00:32:41.860 going on and they're probably mentally sane for it yeah that's you know and i felt again
00:32:49.000 love tim burchett but there were a few tells in there to me and i'm not blaming him i'm just saying
00:32:55.000 the environment of republicans in washington dc still has a messaging problem because i mentioned economic
00:33:01.820 populism pretty strongly there but he sort of signed out with a call towards conservatism well if you guys
00:33:09.540 watching this know what a luxury belief is if you look at progressivism oh we need to save the climate
00:33:15.340 oh we need to you know deal with all these hidden systemic racism like those are luxury beliefs those
00:33:23.460 are beliefs that work when everything is super copacetic everybody's got money everybody can find a job
00:33:30.120 but so is conservatism that's the problem that people on the right don't get the person that's like
00:33:36.200 a single mother who can't find a full-time job can't like pay to she doesn't want to hear oh well
00:33:43.020 we're going to cut the taxes of a major corporation and it's going to trickle down on your head they
00:33:47.760 don't want to hear that and so the the complete the political landscape is changing so fast that i i just
00:33:54.200 don't think the right is going to be able to deal with it at all yeah that's already having a hard time
00:33:59.240 dealing with twitter yeah you're i have a hard time listen don't hit the soft spots i have a hard time
00:34:03.800 dealing with twitter too uh the the you're absolutely right 150 right and this is why
00:34:10.160 donald trump is so loved among blue collar workers among people without college degrees which once
00:34:16.820 again i'm not taking a bash at you i think people who have college degrees like myself and you are
00:34:20.720 dumber than people who didn't waste the money to go to college but it's why donald trump is able to
00:34:25.620 appeal to the blue collar workers the people that have built this country the people that go out to
00:34:29.780 work every day and make sure that this country runs on a granular level make sure our cars run
00:34:34.520 make sure we have air conditioning and heat in buildings make sure infrastructure is going up
00:34:37.960 make sure that whatever making sure that our everyday lives can go normally the people who
00:34:42.960 work at grocery stores okay that is why donald trump was so popular among them because he broke
00:34:49.640 everything down for these people to understand you guys are being robbed you guys are being scammed and
00:34:55.680 this is how i'm going to help you sort of like i'm from the government and i'm here to help except
00:34:59.640 he wasn't from the government at that point the way that you're making it seem and i happen to agree
00:35:04.900 with you is they're trying to the republican party is trying to sort back to macro politics to the
00:35:10.740 country club era style of of conservatism where it's just let's cut billions of dollars which i'm for
00:35:17.040 as i'm absolutely for cutting billions of dollars in taxes for corporations it's what makes everything
00:35:21.920 grow okay but they're missing the point of the of the granular level that that people like you and i
00:35:28.420 are friends with understand yeah americans wanted to drain the swamp almost 70 percent of americans
00:35:34.780 thought it was likely that elected representatives are all secretly grifting off the american taxpayer
00:35:40.400 72 percent are angry at the level of waste fraud and abuse and the only person doing anything drastic
00:35:45.480 about it is donald trump and the republicans still don't really seem to appreciate that this is not
00:35:50.360 about the word conservatism at all i actually like proposed and i'll retweet it right now uh if people
00:35:58.020 want to go look it'll be somewhere in the last couple hours on my twitter feed the new political
00:36:02.700 spectrum we've all seen the one about economic freedom versus authoritarianism right the four color
00:36:08.280 spectrum well i propose one that on one axis is trust in authority figures and on the other axis
00:36:15.980 is grift tolerance how willing you are to accept waste and so you have people who i trust in
00:36:23.160 authority and also tolerate a lot of theft that's like your democrats they say long live the system
00:36:28.920 yeah then you have low authority trust but high grift tolerance that's like man i really wish that
00:36:35.140 was my system i think that's a lot of the people surrounding donald trump right now let's take over
00:36:39.940 this machine that is so lucrative then you have people who trust authority but they don't tolerate
00:36:45.800 anybody any grift well that's like well we need to put fauci's in charge of the government these
00:36:50.100 people are smarter they'll figure this out but where is 70 of america they're in the people that
00:36:56.480 don't trust authority at all and they won't tolerate any grift they want to burn the system
00:37:00.720 down the problem is the republicans are not there with them they're up in the long live the system
00:37:04.920 quadrant so how do we get ourselves out of it mark uh well i mean we'll see if trump's going to burn
00:37:13.080 the system down like that's what you know what i mean it's like let me ask it this way on a
00:37:19.180 granular in minecraft like not actually with fire you know yeah of course in case the fbi's watching
00:37:24.140 on a granular level what what do you suggest if you're if you're running the show right now where
00:37:28.380 would you start i think the happiest man in america is russ fought right now and i hope that we get back
00:37:35.240 to this could be you know donald trump's had some wins with uh with the courts i don't haven't been
00:37:42.220 keeping track of all of them uh there's probably a lot in that project 2025 handbook that the left likes to
00:37:48.660 complain about uh there's probably a lot of criminal investigations and things happening
00:37:53.420 behind the scenes i would love to get back to this whole shock shock and awe thing that really
00:37:58.900 completely i mean uh all the january and february you know starting with the inauguration the press
00:38:05.680 was just not able to keep up it was it wasn't like really till about liberation day where they got
00:38:10.760 back on their feet just because all the stuff that was being unveiled everyone was like oh my god it's
00:38:14.600 way worse than i thought well it's still worse than everybody thought they've just you know
00:38:19.560 been refocused on other concerns do you consider pete hagsett's address to the uh top military brass
00:38:27.080 yesterday a good start to let them know that the days of this nonsense so the days of your friends
00:38:33.560 wearing bondage masks and military garb are over mark
00:38:37.640 yeah i just i love that so much because there was so much buried in there first off the all those
00:38:46.160 people look down on trump they don't they you know what i mean they they don't appreciate that
00:38:50.440 except yeah well okay exactly that's that's the upstart that got promoted over them they all covet that
00:38:58.100 role you know once they become a civilian or whatever a thing man yeah but now those people are
00:39:04.920 going to have to pt on every boot duty day you're going to have generals out there in gym shorts
00:39:09.900 leading people like singing marching chants while they do a flight deck shuffle around the pentagon
00:39:14.660 i love it and you they have to pt they have to do the physical test twice there's some real i bet
00:39:20.940 you there's some like chungus folks that can't get off the rear uh you know smoking three packs a day
00:39:25.800 who are all of a sudden going to have to run a 13 minute mile and a half and good luck guys
00:39:29.960 but well what i like is like so my politics i've said this many times is i just think voters should
00:39:36.360 get what they want unless it's stupid and what i mean by that is there's like a whole bunch of things
00:39:41.480 that are 70 positions and i scream at trump and republicans to do them but then there's other things
00:39:46.800 that aren't but they're the right things to do and people want women in combat now they also say well
00:39:53.020 they shouldn't have a different physical standard people want transsexuals and they were split on
00:39:57.360 whether trainees should be in the military or not they don't want taxpayer funded bottom surgeries
00:40:01.560 but they're like well if they want to serve fine but it's bad like it's a wrong decision and to see
00:40:07.440 him come out and take leadership stance that will also change people's opinions yeah i i haven't seen
00:40:14.120 it was that a poll that you did that people want trainees in the military uh it was like 42 to 43
00:40:20.040 foreign against wow yeah that's very interesting and who do they suggest they room with
00:40:25.880 uh you know you're answering one of multiple questions you don't think about things like
00:40:31.200 that that's uh you know polling's not perfect it's hard i know if i'm if i'm in the military i'm not uh
00:40:38.040 and i'm a girl i don't want some uh six foot three freak sleeping next to me uh or not i it's it's just
00:40:46.140 the way it is you know most people aren't in the military won't be in the military don't think about
00:40:51.020 being in the military and are concerned about our foreign enemies and say well you know more
00:40:55.620 cannon fodder i guess for the globalist nato wars of expansion yeah i think you're absolutely right
00:41:02.660 so what do we so going back to the uh shutdown i mean what do you what do you think a realistic
00:41:08.680 timeline is on this thing i mean how long do you think we we sit in this uh i guess i consider it as
00:41:13.960 a pilot a holding pattern well we talked about the escalating division in america about things like
00:41:22.500 this and i think there's not a lot of tolerance for the spending and that people want i'll give
00:41:29.500 you an example uh fascist is a dirty word a lot of people don't know what it is but they know
00:41:35.300 they're not supposed to like it yeah and we just pulled on it's like okay we we get we got a really
00:41:40.460 good quote that somebody made about jimmy kimmel and it was like basically fascism isn't coming to
00:41:46.100 america it's already here and uh americans actually agreed with that because of trump 58 to 38 it was
00:41:54.620 like plus 20 but it was like a lot of people who strongly approve of trump and so and so there's
00:42:01.420 like sure it's fascist shut that guy up like people want action that's why they want this guy in north
00:42:08.320 carolina executed that's why they want national guard troops rolling through the cities again it's
00:42:13.400 almost to the point where the constitution ostensibly is a luxury belief i like the
00:42:19.220 constitution americans like the constitution it's not a suicide pact america is more than a sheet of
00:42:24.820 paper yeah you know i want to ask you something because this is something sort of interesting and
00:42:29.560 now the government i think historically doesn't really like shutdowns right they don't the markets
00:42:34.440 don't like i should say the mark i didn't even answer your question go we'll come back yeah go
00:42:40.700 ahead what's your what's your estimate on the i just think it's i don't know because i they are not
00:42:45.600 negotiating right now and that's what they should be doing they should be negotiating for a bipartisan
00:42:49.720 deal that is better for republicans and democrats but they and and they're not and one of the reasons
00:42:56.720 they're not is because the forces behind the leftists and i asked representative birchard about this he
00:43:02.700 didn't really respond to it uh why does soros want the government shut down why does all of reddit want
00:43:07.920 the government shut down why does aoc and all our supporters and all the money want the government
00:43:11.940 shut down because they're going to get wrecked over it in in public opinion is my assessment and so
00:43:17.460 that's that calculus means yeah this could go like i there's no way to know why
00:43:24.580 and the ones to take the fall is going to be the chuck schumer and and and uh nancy pelosi hakeem
00:43:35.960 jeffrey's wing of the party which will set up a perfect which is i think exactly what birchard
00:43:40.480 laid out will lay out a perfect shoo-in for aoc to run for senate and i think i'm not the pollster
00:43:47.720 here but just looking at it on his face i think she's probably got a pretty good shot of beating out
00:43:51.800 old chuck schumer um you know just based on his likability and and how he eats his raw burgers
00:43:57.880 with cheese going back to what i was saying the market today the s&p hitting a 6700 for the first
00:44:03.700 time hitting a new high the indices all up uh a little bit today um they usually don't like
00:44:09.700 any sort of uncertainty inside the government what do you think the markets are are saying right now
00:44:16.380 you know is change coming or is it business as usual yeah i really don't know i mean it's like
00:44:25.760 it could just be an inflationary uh momentum trade to just be long risk because it's all fake anyways
00:44:32.960 and people are just like gambling and then they'll head for the exits as fast as they can when there's
00:44:38.880 finally a turnaround i really don't know i mean there's a lot of negative things about the economy
00:44:43.060 too but everybody yesterday was like yeah the market is going to crash tomorrow and uh it did
00:44:47.920 not and so well here's the other thing too is like how much of the market now i don't know about the
00:44:54.180 s&p but like versus the nasdaq and stuff like that is all of these technology giants that have built their
00:45:01.000 entire engineering departments on h1b labor and now trump puts out something that's going to
00:45:05.900 drastically increase the cost of their labor did those stocks go down i don't know about that like why
00:45:11.440 they're cruising apple's uh sitting at around 250 dollars a share i mean they're all
00:45:16.120 sitting high i don't know if they think that president trump will cave on the h1b thing i don't
00:45:21.140 think he does i think he's made his position strong already i don't think jd vance is interested in
00:45:26.000 caving in on it um yeah you know the veck ramaswamy was the one who decided he was going to be the one to
00:45:31.940 distance himself from um uh i guess the populist opinion on trying to hire americans ramaswamy came out and
00:45:40.460 said americans are dumb and lazy we need more indians yeah that uh that that was the mask off
00:45:47.540 moment right there that that ruined his presidential uh hopefuls ambition one of them it's just so
00:45:55.720 beyond the room i think though mark i think all things aside right now i i i think the government i feel
00:46:01.640 is in a very i think we're in a good position right now as a government i think we're in a pretty
00:46:05.920 good position right now uh with president trump leading the fight we're in a government shutdown but
00:46:11.040 it doesn't seem like uh it seems sort of peaceful to me um well you know there's a new crazy shooter
00:46:19.040 every other day and you do have i mean the part that gets me is that i do like the government being
00:46:27.480 shut down it's going to save us a ton of money it's going to show people that it doesn't really
00:46:31.660 affect their lives more than it already has because the last one people are like oh actually
00:46:36.380 it had no impact on me 80 said it had a minor or no impact so it's nice to get those messages
00:46:42.260 reinforced that no you don't need to be subservient to a massive federal government and again i think
00:46:47.900 that if they're smart trump will go hog wild and just totally wreck this thing in a way that he hasn't
00:46:52.820 been able to but the problem is is that he's not going to get any executive orders codified into law
00:46:56.740 then like is he no i mean go ahead go ahead sorry well i mean they need to pass a budget
00:47:03.980 reconciliation bill they're unwilling to use the nuclear option to get rid of the 60 vote filibuster
00:47:09.880 closure you know thing yeah and so they can't pass legislation now they're not going to be able to pass
00:47:14.880 it so that's the end of trump's legislative it's like i don't know what you want with the trade-off
00:47:21.580 are the republicans going to need to get back into power so that they can pass their 3 000 page
00:47:26.360 rescission bill and pay all of their special interests they might be the ones who came first
00:47:30.620 you're right what's their excuse what what is thune's excuse for not being able to do it i mean
00:47:36.320 how can he go out and campaign and say well you gave us the power but i refuse to get rid of go
00:47:41.300 nuclear and get rid of the 60 vote uh threshold to pass whatever needs to be passed and and uh put
00:47:48.760 forth the agenda that americans overwhelmingly overwhelmingly voted for on november 5th who takes the blame
00:47:55.280 uh i think they have to go nuclear john yeah and this is i mean this is on john thune and we've
00:48:03.640 spoken about you know to mike johnson's credit i think mike johnson is doing a fairly decent job right
00:48:08.920 now john thune i still feel like behind the scenes is a snake slithering in the grass figuring out what
00:48:14.540 avenues he can take to just be a sleaze yeah i mean you know he's bought and paid for by pharma and
00:48:20.260 probably 500 other industries as well uh he's not what voters wanted for sure and uh and yet
00:48:27.500 that was like one of the first signs everybody woke up and they're like wait wait what's on this list
00:48:32.200 like who are the lists of these people and it's like well behind the scenes he was getting massive
00:48:36.820 checks personally cut to him by pharmaceutical ceos and it's like okay well maybe that doesn't affect
00:48:43.440 how he does his job but then it's like okay well rfk is coming to to testify before the senate oh yeah
00:48:51.140 he's got to answer hard questions about how he fired the head of the cdc he's gonna have to hear about
00:48:56.020 that uh like dude you know and uh so i don't know they need to go nuclear um i think it will be one of
00:49:05.260 those and everybody says oh the democrats are going to do it back yes that's fine you want that when they
00:49:10.320 get in power they can put their stupid crap through and americans can be horrified by it
00:49:14.820 that's how the system is supposed to work yeah we've got a new meme that president trump is not
00:49:20.800 uh not relenting on on the democrats right now and he's he's holding them accountable for the situation
00:49:27.140 that they've got this country in right now there's no one else to blame but themselves i'm going to
00:49:31.720 pull up on the screen for all of us now to enjoy uh the trolling that president trump is continuing
00:49:37.240 to do chuck schumer until he decides he's going to own this uh this government shutdown let's see if
00:49:44.000 i can do technology here mark you're far better at this than i am i think we've got it up do we
00:49:51.360 no no there we go if everyone could see that right now this is the democrats chuck schumer we're all
00:50:00.680 trying to find out the guy who did this who put him in the hot dog suit this is from the official
00:50:07.280 lighthouse account mark oh man i mean better than that who posts these man i don't know someone who
00:50:17.880 needs a big big pay raise i'd say is it is that isn't that big guy what's his name you know no the
00:50:24.380 other one the younger guy taylor budowich no he's like asian oh stephen chung yeah yeah possibly
00:50:33.980 oh man it's crazy to think this is the times we're living in right now but to try to make some light
00:50:42.340 out of uh it's absolutely i spent like an hour looking at memes last night there's a hilarious
00:50:47.360 one of the one remember the flashbang one where guys dropping a flashbang down the stairs then it was
00:50:53.640 trump dropping a sombrero on hakeem jeffries oh man this is why the democrats are so unlikable
00:51:03.020 mark they they literally cannot resonate with any sort of like you wouldn't even want to i've had
00:51:08.660 many drinks and dinners with members of congress some of them like wet paint dry paint what paint
00:51:15.580 drying on a wall and other you know very normal good decent people i can't think of any democrat i'd
00:51:22.120 want to um sit down and have a beer or have dinner with i really can't think of one yeah that's like
00:51:27.960 a normal dude maybe john fetterman uh yeah you know what like i just i don't have time for people who
00:51:37.420 are unable to be intellectually honest that's ultimately what it would be like i mean i wouldn't
00:51:43.300 it wouldn't be like sitting down next to a demon the reeking of sulfur it would just be like well this
00:51:49.900 human has a different frame of cognition than me and we're never going to really find common ground
00:51:55.640 because they're not going to be able to address the inconsistencies that i point out and so it's like
00:52:03.020 you know you can try and teach pig to sing but at the end of the day it's not going to work and you're
00:52:08.620 just going to make the pig unhappy so like uh i think that's what it is you know they you can't
00:52:15.820 you can't negotiate it's all ad hominem they have a they have a party line it's part of their religion
00:52:22.260 they want to stay faithful and they can't they can't address the cognitive dissonances yeah you're
00:52:28.540 right 154 000 bureaucrats uh exiting the payrolls this week okay um as yeah uh it seems
00:52:36.940 the federal takeover in chicago may be coming finally uh ice doing some massive raids this afternoon
00:52:45.960 there uh it's nice to see through it all that ice is not taking any time off uh from the government
00:52:52.020 payroll dude i kid you not john you might not know this because you don't watch movies and you should
00:52:57.760 watch starship troopers i sent you the link i will i will i promise i'm going to vegas uh we're
00:53:03.220 doing some interviews out in vegas this weekend uh with some country music stars the audience will
00:53:09.000 have to hang tight and see who it is but it's a big one uh i will watch it on that plane ride
00:53:13.420 uh tomorrow you're gonna like it you're gonna appreciate it um it's uh it was way ahead of its time
00:53:19.880 the um commentary on uh government is incredible in there but can you believe that hollywood
00:53:27.740 just this week put out a movie about antifa terrorists attacking ice agents no it's true
00:53:38.380 what where is it on uh uh it's on netflix no it's like in the theaters and it's getting
00:53:45.560 absolutely wrecked believe it or not but uh yeah they you know it takes a while to make these things
00:53:51.200 so it's not like they planned it based on recent events but they could have held this movie and they
00:53:55.600 did not and uh what's it called you know the crazy thing the crazy thing to this mark while you're
00:54:01.880 finding it to me about one battle after another what is it on what platform no in theaters oh it's
00:54:08.740 in theaters i'm sorry you said that yeah to me mark is you like the rhetoric right everyone wants to
00:54:15.460 talk about the rhetoric donald trump puts out dangerous rhetoric he's gonna get people hurt this
00:54:19.520 and that the rhetoric from the left for the last year and a half two years mark has gotten a president
00:54:25.140 nearly assassinated shot in the ear has gotten an innocent young man assassinated has got ice agents
00:54:32.340 having to worry about their lives every single day has got police officers quitting their jobs at record
00:54:37.900 levels right here in new york city i have family members who are cops who after one year on the job
00:54:44.100 after waiting five years to get that job and doing six months of training decided to call it quits
00:54:50.080 because they know they have mayors and governors who don't back them um you would think after
00:54:55.860 everything that we've seen go on police officers assassinated that they would tone down the rhetoric
00:55:03.240 but once you see a president get a nearly get assassinated and they turn it up to me there's no end
00:55:11.440 in sight and they will stop at nothing until that man is assassinated yeah it defies uh all like
00:55:20.100 they've burned so many assets to try and keep donald trump out of office and now they're destroying
00:55:27.100 their businesses because the culture has moved against them because they uh basically grifted too
00:55:32.640 close to the sun msnbc we looked at it you and i talked about it the rating is it's like the 900th
00:55:39.180 rank website in the u.s and they did it to themselves they they had to know that they were
00:55:44.340 in a slow motion train wreck as it happened so why and the only thing that i can come back to is that
00:55:50.940 like at the end of starship troopers it's afraid the system is afraid and we don't have to go into it
00:55:58.900 you and i talked about it you were a lot more closely involved than i was um but the stuff that
00:56:05.020 you got sued over is coming back to a surface in a way that's garnering a lot more attention because
00:56:10.580 twitter is a free and open marketplace right now and the implications are absolutely staggering
00:56:16.980 for people who don't know what i'm talking about it's about voting companies and what has been alleged
00:56:25.180 to be a multinational criminal cartel to undermine americans elections and 71 other countries apparently
00:56:34.340 yeah and nothing's been done about it as i told told you this afternoon on the phone when we spoke
00:56:40.060 it's as soon as we decided to speak out about it on fox news the lawsuits came in the firings started
00:56:45.840 it was like no no no you're not to talk about this you're not to open that cabinet and see what's
00:56:51.080 inside uh otherwise we'll use the the power of a corrupt judiciary to come after you everybody you love
00:56:57.700 and um everybody you work with to ensure that you guys stop talking about it and we'll sue you
00:57:03.620 into an oblivion like they've done to mike lindell we'll sue you into an oblivion like they've done
00:57:07.620 to newsmax and many other organizations uh unless you stop talking about it i that's not the america
00:57:14.420 i know mark that that there's i mean you're not even allowed to have dialogue and not even to mention
00:57:19.420 that but they've sued for defamation for billions of dollars on corporations that aren't even worth billions
00:57:26.940 of dollars not even worth a fraction of what they've sued for and they've gotten settlements of 800
00:57:31.400 million dollars still not worth the company i'm sure not even half the the worth of the company
00:57:36.720 but this is the judiciary that when you go to judge shop and go to court shop you get and it sets a
00:57:43.800 dangerous you hear the democrats talk about this setting dangerous precedents this sets a dangerous
00:57:48.260 precedent when you can't even have dialogue uh about corruption in your own elections well it doesn't
00:57:54.360 even work anymore america has seen behind the wizard of oz they have seen that it isn't the big
00:58:00.080 the the election of 2020 uh we track the numbers the whole time after the election it was in the 40s
00:58:07.540 where people are like ah you know something kind of stinks 40 uh 48 7 or 8 it got up to 64 66 i think
00:58:14.160 of americans who thought the 2020 election was affected by cheating when you were banned off of every
00:58:20.120 single social media not anybody but tucker uh you know and lou dobbs like who else was really talking
00:58:27.700 about it not really anybody right and and what they did was they ran a gaslighting operation called
00:58:34.480 the big lie they said it was the big lie and i've i talked to people i was working at uh walmart at the
00:58:40.540 time and all of these npcs will literally said oh well they're they're not one single court has seen any
00:58:46.640 evidence well obviously the cases were all dismissed on standing and anybody with a brain was like this does not
00:58:52.240 make sense well uh i don't know what's coming but what i do know is that there was a legal document
00:59:00.040 filed in a court just recently in the teen and peter's case that alleges that they have the testimony
00:59:05.960 of a whistleblower from a venezuelan voting machine company who says exactly how it all happens including
00:59:14.240 the fact that there was an intervention in serbia in this election 9 0 2 p.m and that is what uh
00:59:22.840 actually prevented this deal so if that's true then that means that something was happening behind the
00:59:30.380 scenes we don't know what very very interesting i guess we'll have to follow up and check in on that
00:59:35.800 and see uh what the deal is because we need to get to the bottom of what happened in 2020 otherwise
00:59:40.680 it'll continue to happen as you said it's you know to happen in uh in this last election mark
00:59:47.400 mitchell we could talk for another two three hours but i know you probably got to go feed the dogs and
00:59:50.960 the kid the kids the 10 kids you have uh you get the last word here uh yeah well i'd like this is
00:59:58.620 this is it right if we actually don't live in a representative democracy we should probably try to
01:00:03.980 figure that out because it's like okay well you know mail-in ballot fraud okay maybe we shouldn't have
01:00:09.320 mail-in ballots it's like okay people running off you know ballots behind the scenes with the makeup
01:00:16.020 ballot printer and stuffing them in okay well that could be fixed with audits and stuff like that
01:00:20.640 but what we're talking about here if it's true means like we literally do not live in a representative
01:00:26.540 democracy so anyways uh that's sort of important if you're trying to be a good pollster um so anyways
01:00:33.600 that's what that's what we'll be wrestling with i guess or or hope over the last next 12 months or so
01:00:38.740 if you want to hear more rasmussen underscore poll on twitter and also on youtube and at honest
01:00:45.020 pollster on twitter the great mark mitchell mark we'll see you next week my friend thanks so much
01:00:48.740 for being with us yeah great to be here great mark mitchell thanks folks for being with us today here
01:00:53.560 on the great america show we'll see you back here tomorrow truth justice and the american way continues
01:00:57.680 until then may god bless you may god bless america and may god bless the great blue dobs have a great night
01:01:02.780 everybody god bless you all
