00:02:07.520 different without Donald Trump. That is, of course, because he got absolutely trounced by him and

00:02:12.320 couldn't beat him. In a recent interview with Fox News' Sean Hannity, DeSantis declined to rule out

00:02:17.480 a 2028 bid. He says, we'll see. DeSantis, who is term limited and will leave office in January of

00:02:23.180 2027, will exit the governor's mansion roughly a year before the next Republican primary season

00:02:28.080 begins. His 2024 campaign ended early after a second place finish in Iowa caucuses where Trump

00:02:34.040 beat him by around 30 points. Yet DeSantis argued that the outcome was largely dictated by Trump's

00:02:39.180 presence in the race. Well, I think that's probably fair to say. President Trump is also

00:02:43.820 mulling giving DeSantis a job in the administration come 2027 when he's term limited out.
