00:00:00.000 I'm Lou Dobbs with this Great America Show update.
00:00:03.580 Beleaguered Border Patrol faces an almost 800% surge in the number of Chinese nationals
00:00:10.160 crossing our southern border. The Border Patrol reporting 18,000 illegal Chinese immigrant
00:00:17.180 encounters between October and July compared to just under 2,000 for all of last year.
00:00:23.400 The Chinese nationals paying the cartels between $15,000 and $30,000 apiece to bring them through 1.00
00:00:31.180 the Mexican desert to the border. The cartels are now in operational control of both sides of our
00:00:37.760 southern border and they smuggle anyone and anything across that border. Illegal border
00:00:43.720 crossings up 33% just last month. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas releases his financial
00:00:50.920 disclosure. Thomas has been under vicious attack by the Marxist left for not disclosing private jet
00:00:57.500 travel from Republican megadonor Harlan Crow. In his newly released financial records,
00:01:04.440 Thomas reports he took two rides on the jet, two, two whole rides on the jet, both to keynote speeches
00:01:11.880 for the American Enterprise Institute where he was the keynote speaker. The filing says the jet was
00:01:18.460 taken once because of an ice storm and another for security reasons after the Dobbs case leak.
00:01:25.040 By the way, Harlan Crow has not had any business before the U.S. Supreme Court, but the Dems go after
00:01:32.600 him anyway. By comparison, the Marxist Dem national news media means to harass Justice Thomas,
00:01:38.880 perhaps intimidate him as well. No stories, though, from that Marxist Dem media about retired Justice
00:01:45.480 Stephen Breyer, who served on the court from 1994 to 2022, he took 219 reimbursed trips from 2004 to 2018
00:01:56.640 more than any other Supreme Court justice. The left is committed to attacking Justice Thomas with their
00:02:03.140 venal intimidation tactics. Every Republican on Capitol Hill right now should be standing up
00:02:08.860 to show support for Justice Thomas. Republicans need to shut down this Marxist evil and now.
00:02:15.480 And where is Chief Justice John Roberts? He should be standing up publicly for Justice
00:02:20.960 Clarence Thomas, who is a great American. Roberts, lead for a change for crying out loud. Do the right
00:02:27.360 thing. Marxist Arizona Secretary of State trying to keep Trump off the ballot. Adrian Fontes says his
00:02:34.360 office is taking steps to disqualify President Trump from being on the ballot, as he put it very
00:02:40.220 seriously. The Marxist left looking to use Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to bar Trump off some state
00:02:46.840 ballots. Section 3 says public officials aren't eligible to hold office if they engaged in an
00:02:52.540 insurrection or rebellion. Are you kidding me? Get real. Get these Marxist Dems under control,
00:02:59.860 Republicans. The Marxist Dems will do all they can to stop President Trump before the 2024 election,
00:03:06.280 because, very simply, they know they can't beat him. Join us today on The Great America Show. Our
00:03:11.920 guest is John Solomon. He's editor-in-chief of Just the News, and he says the evidence for Joe Biden
00:03:17.260 to be impeached is compelling. The evidence that's now in the record shows three very compelling
00:03:24.540 things. Joe Biden lied his way into the presidency. He told us multiple lies, and he got other people
00:03:30.000 in his campaign, got other people to construct lies to deflect his family's scandal and to fool the
00:03:37.460 American people. That is a very powerful thing. People hate when the president lies to them.
00:03:41.560 That is, second, there's not any doubt that Joe Biden and Hunter Biden allowed their family name to
00:03:46.720 be sold to the highest bidder in these foreign and often corrupt foreign figures to enrich their family.
00:03:53.220 That is something that we've never, with the exception of the Clintons, never really saw in history and
00:03:57.520 certainly never saw a president do before. And then third, I think you begin to see now that Joe Biden
00:04:03.320 actually was changing policies and taking actions that benefited his son's clients that may not have
00:04:08.780 been in the interest of the United States. And I think those three narratives are pretty well formed
00:04:14.700 right now, and that's why I think many folks, you included, and by the way, I think Kevin McCarthy's
00:04:19.580 there, believe that impeachment is warranted. Please join us today for our full discussion with John
00:04:24.640 Solomon. I'm Lou Dobbs with this Great America Midday Update.
