Fonnie Willis is in the news again, this time for defaulting on a court order for refusing to hand over documents in a public records lawsuit. Who was the member of Congress who leaked the Matt Gaetz ethics report and the contents of it? And Mitch McConnell is in trouble.

00:00:10.840This time it's for defaulting for refusing to hand over documents in an open records lawsuit.
00:00:17.040Fonnie Willis refused to answer a public records lawsuit seeking records of her communications with Special Counsel Jack Smith.
00:00:23.040Earlier this year, conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch asked the Superior Court of Fulton County to declare a default judgment against Fonnie Willis after she refused to respond to its lawsuit related to communications she had with Jack Smith and the Sham January 6th Committee.
00:00:39.940Last year, House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan launched an investigation into whether Fulton County District DA Willis coordinated with federal officials during her years-long probe into President Trump and his associates.
00:00:51.420Chairman Jordan, of course, in his letter to Willis requesting all documents and communications between or among the Fulton County District Attorney's Office, the DOJ, and its components, including but not limited to the Office of the Special Counsel of Jack Smith, referring to or relating to the Office's investigation of Donald Trump.
00:01:10.320Willis is just a bad person. I think that's what it comes down to at the end of the day.
00:01:14.440And I think truth, justice, and the American way will eventually prevail against that bad, bad person.

00:01:26.860There's concerns to the outgoing Republican leader, Mitch McConnell, as issues are starting to pile up.
00:01:32.300Punchbowl News reporting that Mitch McConnell took a fall during a GOP luncheon, and medical staff was sent to his office.
00:01:39.700EMS was sent to his office to check him out. No word yet on how he's doing or if he was seriously injured.
00:01:46.340But I think it's time for Mitch McConnell to retire and head off into retirement and let the younger generation take over because he's clearly not all there anymore.
00:01:57.980And in other news on Capitol Hill, we're finding out who was the member of Congress who leaked that Matt Gaetz ethics report and the contents of it.
00:02:07.260We now find out that Congresswoman Susan Wilde, of course a top Marxist Democrat on the House Ethics Committee, was the one who outed Matt Gaetz's report.
00:02:16.760The House Ethics Committee was reportedly going to release a damning report on Matt Gaetz last month, but because he resigned from Congress, the committee lost its jurisdiction.
00:02:24.620The Marxist Dems on the committee, of course, most of them having, if not all of them, having Trump derangement syndrome, wanted that report out, never seemed to make it out.
00:02:33.780Parts of the Gaetz report were selectively leaked, though, of course, to the media, and a, quote, hacker also obtained a trove of documents from the, quote, damaging reports.

00:02:45.000The House Ethics Committee's years-long investigation into Matt Gaetz over alleged sexual misconduct ended after he left Congress.
00:02:52.940You know, that was the one that Kevin McCarthy took part in and was happy to push forward.

00:03:04.440And President Trump has nominated Harmeet Dillon as Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights at the DOJ.
00:03:09.620That position is one that you may be familiar with, a friend and a guest of the show.
00:03:14.740Jeff Clark was the man who previously held that position in the first Trump administration.
00:03:19.540So congratulations to our friend Harmeet Dillon for now taking over that role.
00:03:25.460And Carrie Lake, you know Carrie Lake very well from running for Senate and governor in Arizona, is emerging as a top contender for Trump's ambassador to Mexico.
00:03:34.540So, Carrie Lake, of course, losing their last election in Arizona for the Senate race, now eyeing a top spot in the Trump administration where she'll be able to maybe head up an immigration policy with Mexico.
