00:00:10.400 George Stephanopoulos reportedly may be out at ABC after CEO Bob Iger decided to pay out a $15 million defamation settlement
00:00:18.280 plus an extra million bucks to cover President Trump's attorney fees.
00:00:22.200 Trump's defamation case against ABC News was related to statements made by this week's host George Stephanopoulos.
00:00:27.560 Trump sued ABC earlier this year after Stephanopoulos claimed Trump was found liable of rape by a Manhattan jury in the E. Jean Carroll case.
00:00:36.680 In 2019, of course, E. Jean Carroll alleged Donald Trump raped her in a Bergdorf-Goodman dressing room.

00:01:27.960 The vote, which had not previously been reported, amounts to a stark reversal for the panel

00:02:07.880 All three major indices clobbered by the news as we await a budget by the House of Representatives.
00:02:14.600 It was unclear if we'll be able to get that through before the end of the year.
