00:00:04.740 Republican Congressman Thomas Massey, Andy Biggs, Eric Burleson have introduced a resolution
00:00:11.020 to rescind the congressional subpoenas that were issued to Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro,
00:00:17.100 Dan Scavino and Mark Meadows.
00:00:19.220 The resolution would also officially repudiate the actions of the January 6th committee as
00:00:24.980 entirely illegitimate.
00:00:26.860 Congressman Massey called on the Speaker to rescind those subpoenas almost two weeks
00:00:32.240 ago.
00:00:32.840 Now, Massey has introduced a bill on his own and suggests that Speaker Johnson again is
00:00:38.880 slinking away from doing the right thing.
00:00:41.880 Congressman Massey points out this resolution does not require Senate approval.
00:00:46.820 The original subpoenas were issued unilaterally by the House so the House can rescind them
00:00:52.800 unilaterally.
00:00:53.740 And it reminds Speaker Johnson that time is of the essence.

00:01:00.260 The city of Seattle is recruiting illegal aliens to become police officers.
00:01:05.960 The city is recruiting DACA recipients who we were told originally didn't have criminal

00:01:17.100 Including charges for burglary and assault.
00:01:19.860 The Seattle government defunded and demoralized the police.
00:01:24.180 And then, when residents came to their senses, no one could find a police officer when they

00:01:30.560 And the city couldn't find anyone who wanted the job.
00:01:34.260 So this is their latest effort to find cops.
00:01:37.380 To give them a gun and a badge to people who, by definition, are criminals.

00:01:48.540 Turning over law enforcement to lawbreakers and outlaws is on its face not very bright.

00:02:07.560 And Trump advisor Cash Patel says the House of Representatives does have the authority to
00:02:13.000 arrest Attorney General Merrick Garland for not complying with a congressional subpoena.
00:02:18.920 Congress not only can arrest Garland, but they can hold him in detention until he complies.
