00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody. I'm John Fawcett with this Great America Show midday update for Friday, March 13th.
00:00:04.720 Happy Friday, folks. We made it through another week.
00:00:07.440 President Trump woke up this morning and had a message on Truth Social for the folks in Iran,
00:00:13.720 the regime, the leadership, we'll call them for right now.
00:00:17.260 He wrote the following message, quote,
00:00:18.800 We are totally destroying the terrorist regime of Iran militarily, economically, and otherwise.
00:00:23.520 Yet, if you're reading the failing New York Times, you would incorrectly think that we are not winning.
00:00:28.440 Iran's navy is gone, their air force is no longer,
00:00:30.880 missiles, drones, and everything else are being decimated,
00:00:33.380 and their leaders have been wiped off the face of the earth.
00:00:36.640 We have unparalleled firepower, unlimited ammunition, and plenty of time. 1.00
00:00:40.600 Watch what happens to these deranged scumbags today. 1.00
00:00:43.620 They've been killing innocent people all over the world for 47 years, 1.00
00:00:47.000 and now, as I of the 47th President of the United States, am killing them. 0.98
00:00:51.200 What a great honor it is to do so. 0.96
00:00:53.440 Thank you for your attention to this matter.
00:00:54.960 Signed, President Donald J. Trump
00:00:58.020 Now, J.D. Vance is out on a little media tour
00:01:00.680 A little tour touting the achievements of the Trump administration
00:01:03.700 He was asked by a reporter today
00:01:06.060 About some sort of disconnect
00:01:08.340 If he's disconnected from President Trump on this issue
00:01:11.140 Are they on the same page?
00:01:13.820 What have they spoken about in the situation room?
00:01:16.800 So on and so forth
00:01:17.800 Take a listen to J.D.'s response
00:01:19.640 So eloquent and I think just brilliant
00:01:22.960 about where he is with President Trump on this regarding the issue of Iran.
00:01:28.760 What did you advise the president initially as he considered his actions in Iran,
00:01:33.940 and what are you urging him to do now, especially with Americans seeing higher prices at the pump
00:01:39.500 and some of the fallout from that across the economy?
00:01:42.580 Do you express any concerns like those you've expressed in the past on the possibility of these extended wars?
00:01:48.860 Well, Bill, I appreciate the question.
00:01:50.840 I know you guys have to ask it, but, but, but imagine the situation where we're in the situation
00:01:56.160 room where you can't even take your, you know, iPod in there or your, your AirPods, I guess what
00:02:02.600 they're called. You can't take your iPhone in there. You can't take anything in there because
00:02:06.220 it is the most classified space anywhere in the world. And I sit there with Pete Hegseth and
00:02:11.140 General Cain and Marco Rubio and the entire white house team. And the president and I and the entire
00:02:17.060 senior team are talking about the options and about what we need to do and about how we must
00:02:21.440 best protect the American people. I hate to disappoint you, but I'm not going to show up
00:02:26.080 here and in front of God and everybody else tell you exactly what I said in that classified room,
00:02:30.160 partially because I don't want to go to prison and partially because I think it's important for
00:02:35.280 the president of the United States to be able to talk to his advisors without those advisors
00:02:39.840 running their mouth to the American media.
00:02:47.060 as i said extremely eloquent and a good response from the vice president uh you're never going to
00:02:55.860 get a fair shake from this corrupt media so i think a great overall response while we're talking
00:03:01.600 about defunct nations why don't we talk about cuba for a second here president trump is making
00:03:05.820 the world a better place seemingly overnight cuban dictator diaz canel announcing on national
00:03:11.160 broadcast that the regime has begun negotiations with the president of the United States.
00:03:17.100 The historic moment when the director of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel, he announced it on national
00:03:22.920 broadcast that they've given into the pressure and that they're officially negotiating with
00:03:27.300 America. Now this comes as they've released over 50 folks who were imprisoned over there.
00:03:33.560 I think they've started to finally come to the realization that they're messing with the wrong
00:03:38.120 president. This is no longer the regime of Joe Biden. This is now the regime of President Trump,
00:03:45.000 and they're going to handle things far, far differently than were handled in the past.
00:03:50.740 And it's great to see they're waking up to it. And Senate Democrats, who I say are the biggest
00:03:56.120 and greatest threat to America, last night once again blocking funding for the Department of
00:04:00.960 Homeland Security as Islamic terrorists are seemingly attacking the homeland. They don't 0.99
00:04:06.440 really care. The motion to proceed failed by a vote of 51 to 46. Democrat Senator John Fetterman
00:04:11.880 voting with the Republicans to advance that bill. It's just horrible. The bill is to reopen the
00:04:18.660 government and the 27-day shutdown that has hampered the functions of TSA and other critical
00:04:23.820 agencies. It's unclear what the Democrats are doing, but this has marked the fourth time since
00:04:29.900 February 12th that Democrats have voted to block the Homeland Security funding legislation.
00:04:35.460 It's a total disgrace by the Marxist Dems for playing politics with national security.
00:04:41.160 It goes to show you who they really care about in this country.
00:04:44.540 Folks, please be sure to join us tonight.
00:04:46.460 We've got a very special episode of The Great America Show tonight.
00:04:49.440 Do you guys all know Seth Rich?
00:04:50.900 You've heard the name before, maybe.
00:04:52.620 Former DNC staffer who was gunned down in a park in Washington, D.C. some years ago.
00:05:00.500 Still haven't found the killer.
00:05:02.520 We're going to talk about it tonight here on The Great America Show.
00:05:04.980 We've got a full episode dedicated to it with a very brilliant guest,
00:05:08.620 a man who's been at the forefront of trying to get answers from the FBI from day one
00:05:12.960 and answers he hasn't got.
00:05:15.720 So join us for that tonight, special edition of The Great America Show,
00:05:18.880 6 p.m. Eastern Time, Rumble, YouTube, Twitter, wherever you guys join us.
00:05:21.800 We will see you tonight for The Great America Show.
00:05:23.940 I'm John Fossett with this midday update.
00:05:26.240 Happy Friday, folks, and if we don't see you tonight, we'll see you Monday.
00:05:28.860 Have a great weekend.
