00:00:00.000 Hello everybody, I'm John Fawcett with this Great America Show midday update for Tuesday, March 31st.
00:00:05.100 Happy Tuesday, folks.
00:00:06.840 President Trump starting his Tuesday, firing off some, what do they call them, mean tweets,
00:00:13.340 suggesting that he will withdraw troops from the Middle East and force Europe, Asia, and the Gulf nations
00:00:19.000 to deal with Iran's blockade on the Strait of Hormuz after they refused his calls for help.
00:00:25.060 President Trump previously asked NATO and Asia for help securing the Strait,
00:00:28.920 But of course, they're refusing.
00:00:30.680 The USA won't be there to help you anymore, just like you weren't there for us,
00:00:34.120 President Trump said in a statement offering to supply oil from the United States
00:00:37.840 if the countries cannot, quote, build up some delayed courage to go to the strait and just take it.
00:00:43.900 He added that, hey, Iran has been essentially decimated.
00:00:46.300 The hard part is done. Go and get your own oil.
00:00:49.360 Now, this comes out in reporting that President Trump is ready to end the war,
00:00:52.600 regardless of security in the waterway.
00:00:55.200 The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump told aides
00:00:57.340 He may flat out end the war with Iran without reopening the Strait of Hormuz as his timeline for the war of four to six weeks approaches its end.
00:01:05.480 His plan would then be to leave it to Europe and the Gulf states, who are heavily dependent on the flow of oil through the strait, unlike the U.S., to go ahead and deal with it on their own.
00:01:15.420 Pete Hegseth gave some comments today and said, after President Trump's wise words, more ships flowed through the strait today. Take a listen.
00:01:23.120 On the Strait of Hormuz, there are many more vessels flowing through today than there were, as the president has arranged.
00:01:30.160 The president's been clear to Iran, open it for business, or we have options, and we certainly do.
00:01:35.220 And when you look at what the chairman laid out with the Navy, with the Navy industrial base, with coastal cruise missiles, with UAVs, with countermine capabilities,
00:01:42.660 we've been focused from the beginning on a trading and defeating those capabilities and limiting their options.
00:01:47.720 There's lots we're doing as well, some of which is known, some of which is not known, to set the conditions.
00:01:53.520 And I think the president was clear this morning in his truth that there are countries around the world who ought be prepared to step up on this critical waterway as well.
00:02:04.300 It's not just the United States Navy.
00:02:06.540 Last time I checked, there was supposed to be a big, bad Royal Navy that could be prepared to do things like that as well.
00:02:11.840 So he's pointing out this is an international waterway that we use less than most, in fact, dramatically less than most.
00:02:17.680 So the world ought to pay attention and be prepared to stand up.
00:02:20.160 President Trump's been willing to do the heavy lifting on behalf of the free world to address this threat of Iran. 1.00
00:02:25.240 It's not just our problem set going forward, even though we have done the lion's share of preparation to ensure that that strait will be will be open, which is an outcome the president's been very clear on.
00:02:35.960 President Trump took aim specifically at France, saying France has been very unhelpful, saying, quote, the country of France wouldn't let planes headed to Israel loaded up with military supplies fly over the French territory.
00:02:49.700 France has been very unhelpful with respect to the butcher of Iran, who has successfully been eliminated. 0.97
00:02:55.380 The USA will remember President DJT.
00:02:59.160 Meanwhile, Trump is saying Iran is agreeing with us on his 15-point plan
00:03:02.700 and that some oil is being allowed to flow through the strait,
00:03:05.840 but still leveling the threats to decimate Iran if a deal falls through.
00:03:10.280 And that's how President Trump does business.
00:03:12.620 The U.S. Supreme Court today ruling 8-1 against Colorado's controversial therapy ban for LGBTQ minors.
00:03:21.240 Liberal Justice Ketanji Brown-Jackson, of course, dissenting.
00:03:24.440 The lawsuit was filed by Christian talk therapist Kaylee Childs.
00:03:28.620 She's argued that Colorado's ban on her talk therapy methods violated her First Amendment rights.
00:03:34.840 Child counsels children and minor teens struggle with gender identity issues.
00:03:39.600 Justice Gorsuch agreed and said Colorado's ban on certain talk therapy methods
00:03:43.460 censors speech based on viewpoint.
00:03:46.380 That's because the Marxist Dems would rather just send your kids to the factories 0.97
00:03:50.240 to go ahead and get mutilated beyond repair.
00:03:54.940 The Marxist Dems down in Florida may be losing their mind
00:03:57.940 because the state of Florida has agreed and officially signed it
00:04:01.600 to rename Palm Beach International Airport
00:04:04.120 to President Donald J. Trump International Airport.
00:04:07.420 Florida Governor Ron DeSantis quietly signed the bill on Monday
00:04:10.000 to rename Palm Beach International Airport.
00:04:12.480 The legislation states that the change must still be approved by the FAA.
00:04:16.540 The FAA said the airport name changes are a local issue,
00:04:19.640 and that does not approve of name changes, which is described as a local issue.
00:04:23.440 So, that goes ahead and shows you there.
00:04:27.360 It's a done deal.
00:04:28.800 The name change will take effect July 1st of 2026.
00:04:33.600 And Nancy Pelosi is losing her mind once again. 1.00
00:04:36.940 She's losing her marbles, folks. 0.99
00:04:38.860 What's she blabbering on about this time?
00:04:42.020 Well, former House Speaker claimed that President Trump and Republicans are going to go into the voting machines
00:04:47.700 and change the vote count to steal the 2026 midterm elections.
00:04:52.060 Yeah.
00:04:53.440 Pelosi, the lady who accused Republicans of causing an insurrection because of a stolen election, can't make this stuff up, folks.
00:05:01.240 Take a listen to the demented former House Speaker.
00:05:04.500 We always have concerns, but with this president and these Republicans who have no commitment to the rule of law and doing things the appropriate way, we're ready.
00:05:17.260 And we have three purposes now.
00:05:19.500 One is to win the midterms.
00:05:21.440 two is to make sure the elections are safe and three to tell people what we will do when we win
00:05:29.040 and that is the that is the mission the uh all there's so many things that you can do
00:05:35.380 to protect the election and they are being done whether it's litigation or legislation or just
00:05:43.480 mobilization, communication, all that. But in addition to that, we have to be on guard as to
00:05:51.720 what they may try to do to the technology. They may try to creep into the technology
00:05:57.300 and create a false count. How do you guard against that? That's a challenge.
00:06:02.780 As I said, folks, simply stuff you cannot make up. Please be sure to join us tonight and each
00:06:07.700 and every night, 6 p.m. Eastern time for The Great America Show, Rumble, YouTube, Twitter,
00:06:11.180 wherever you guys join us.
00:06:12.940 We'll see you there tonight
00:06:13.660 for The Great America Show.
00:06:14.640 I'm Jon Fossett with this Midday Update.
00:06:16.620 Have a great day, everybody.
