00:00:00.000 Hello everybody, I'm John Foster with this Great America Show midday update for Friday, March 6th.
00:00:04.480 Happy Friday, folks.
00:00:06.060 The U.S. has said it has sunk over 30 Iranian warships, including their brand new drone carrier.
00:00:12.220 The American Airstrike Carrier Group has destroyed Iran's quirky attempt at building an aircraft carrier, according to latest reports.
00:00:20.040 Operation Epic Fury has seen the United States destroy over 30 Iranian warships.
00:00:24.160 As America moves to ends, Iran's capability and capacity to exert, shall we call it, terrorism on the world. 1.00
00:00:33.520 And the attacks and the bombardment and the bombs keep on dropping in Iran, as they should until Iran decides they want to come to the table. 0.80
00:00:42.800 Who's going to be the next country to fall?
00:00:44.720 President Trump has already taken actions against Cuba, including an oil embargo and threatening tariffs on any country that provides oil to Cuba through an executive order.
00:00:54.160 President Trump spoke to CNN's Dana Bash this afternoon, where he said Cuba is going to fall pretty soon, by the way.
00:01:01.120 Cuba's going to fall.
00:01:02.540 They want to make a deal so badly that he's actually going to send over Marco Rubio.
00:01:07.100 Take a listen to President Trump and his conversation with Dana Bash.
00:01:12.520 He's using it in his second.
00:01:14.840 And then he quickly turned to Cuba.
00:01:17.380 He said, without being asked, Cuba is going to fall pretty soon, by the way.
00:01:22.840 But Cuba is going to fall.
00:01:24.640 They want to make a deal so badly.
00:01:26.680 And I asked how so.
00:01:27.940 He said, they want to make a deal.
00:01:29.720 So I'm going to put Marco over there and we'll see how that works.
00:01:33.380 But we're really focused on this one now, meaning Iran.
00:01:36.280 We've got plenty of time on Cuba.
00:01:39.340 President Trump has sent a decisive message all around the world that America is not to be messed with.
00:01:44.720 And if you think you're going to get away, he's going to prove you wrong.
00:01:49.060 You're going to be in trouble.
00:01:50.740 President Trump's numbers seem to be doing pretty good, at least according to CNN's Harry Enten.
00:01:56.160 Republicans love Donald Trump more than any president's own party supported in history.
00:02:02.920 Take a listen.
00:02:03.920 Republicans love Donald Trump more than any president's own party supporters.
00:02:10.260 Loved him at this particular point.
00:02:11.700 Just take a look here.
00:02:12.420 Okay, own party supporters, 21st century presidents, own party approval about at this point in the second term.
00:02:17.960 Bush was at 77%.
00:02:19.620 Obama was at 77%.
00:02:21.380 Look at this.
00:02:22.300 86% of Republicans approve of the job that Donald Trump is doing at this point.
00:02:28.080 That is higher than either Obama or Bush had within their own party at this point.
00:02:33.220 Trump's magic touch has not seemed to war off yet when it comes to the Republican base.
00:02:38.320 And what kind of approval are we talking about here?
00:02:39.980 Okay, so we're talking about overall approval here.
00:02:42.340 How about the strongly approved, the strongly approved, not just like, but love, love.
00:02:47.080 Okay, we're going to look at these same presidents again.
00:02:49.440 Strong approval among your own party's base.
00:02:51.780 What you see here is Trump is the only one who gets a majority at this point in their presidency.
00:02:56.600 Obama was at 48%.
00:02:58.040 Bush was at 47%.
00:02:59.780 You see here Trump at 53%.
00:03:01.560 Not as high as the overall approval rating, but still getting a majority of the Republican base,
00:03:06.580 at least in the average of polls, to say that they still really, really, really like him.
00:03:11.860 Don't buy the fake media narrative, folks, that Trump is somehow losing or losing support or any of that good stuff.
00:03:19.820 It's all fake news.
00:03:21.560 And as you know, the fake polls, which we've all been victims of since 2016, just more fake news.
00:03:29.640 Now, President Trump, he's yet to issue an endorsement in that Texas Senate primary race,
00:03:35.400 which is highly contested between John Cornyn and Ken Paxson, the Attorney General.
00:03:40.800 President Trump says he wants to see the Save America Act on his desk before he makes any sort of endorsement in that race.
00:03:50.460 Now, Ken Paxson has offered to drop out of that race should they pass the Save Act and get rid of the filibuster.
00:03:57.940 A pretty selfless act, I think, on the part of the Attorney General of Texas,
00:04:02.140 who's been a staunch Trump supporter from day one, but willing to drop out of the race
00:04:07.340 in favor of getting President Trump's agenda through.
00:04:11.080 Pretty selfless.
00:04:12.260 A federal judge this week ordering the Trump administration to refund $130 billion in tariffs.
00:04:18.880 U.S. Supreme Court recently struck down President Trump's tariffs in a 6-3 decision.
00:04:22.660 The Supreme Court said that President Trump does not have the authority to impose those tariffs under the IEPA. 0.97
00:04:28.840 You remember Justice Roberts, Coney Barrett, and Gorsuch siding with the three Marxist damn judges. 0.97
00:04:35.280 So, now we've got another Marxist damn judge who's telling President Trump that he's got to refund the money. 0.98
00:04:42.800 I don't think that's going to work out too well, and I expect this thing drags on for a few years. 0.94
